Best bits of the week with Morgan.
David Oyelowo
It's listener Q and A time, where.
Morgan
Morgan and a show member answer almost all your questions.
Raymundo
It is listener Q and A time. Ray say what's up?
Morgan
Yo.
Raymundo
I was prepared for the. Yeah, and then you said that, and I was not ready. Well, Ray is joining me. We got the listener Q and A and we're just gonna dive right on in. You cool with that?
Morgan
Yeah. Into the deep end. Let's do it.
Raymundo
Yes. Does BAE call you Raymundo from Craig?
Morgan
No, she never does. Some of my friends call me Sizzle, and I think Anna calls me Sizzle and Eric. So I guess the Dodds really are the only ones that call me Sizzle. Because I did vacation with them.
Raymundo
Yeah.
Morgan
And on there, I go by Sizzle. Okay, so maybe they're the only ones that call me Sizzin. People on Broadway will randomly say, susan Bazer doesn't even call me Ray. I don't. What does she call me?
Raymundo
I was going to say, what is her name for you?
Morgan
She calls me nothing, Babe. No, no. She just knows when I hear her voice that I'll know she's talking to me.
Raymundo
So there are no names that exist within your guys's house?
Morgan
No, I call her all kinds of stuff.
Raymundo
What do you call her?
Morgan
Lorraine. When I really need her attention, which isn't even her name. And I think she.
Raymundo
You love making up names.
Morgan
I think she said, I got to stop doing that. So I'll call her Lorraine. I'll call her. I call her. I call her Mama. But then she got annoyed with that.
Raymundo
You come up with the strangest name.
Morgan
Yeah, so. So, yeah, so actually, we're at a nameless phase right now.
Raymundo
Okay. But she does not call you Raymondo.
Morgan
No.
Raymundo
But she never called you Ray, either.
Morgan
No.
Raymundo
Okay, just. Just make sure I'm following. Do you and BAE ever fight? From Shayla Marie.
Morgan
I would say we've been a pretty good streak right now. About, like, forever. Not fighting, but sometimes when we were. When we're going to go on a trip, she'll have an idea of what she wants to go on. I'll have a different idea, and maybe that starts a little quarrel.
Raymundo
Quarrel. Not a fight.
Morgan
But we try to avoid fights. We definitely had a lot going on early because there was me gambling. There was me doing bad stuff. There was fights over that. Fights. So we try to not.
Raymundo
I feel like you should clarify the bad stuff, because I bet it. It's not bad. Like, some people are probably thinking, no, she would.
Morgan
Yeah. I was, like, hiding. So I was, like, hiding some credit card stuff from her when we first got married.
Raymundo
Okay.
Morgan
So there were.
Raymundo
People are probably like, was he cheating? What was. I don't want, you know that light to be painted on you.
Morgan
Yes. So there was that. So she was upset about that. There was fights over that. What other fights?
Raymundo
And gambling. This has been a thing.
Morgan
Sometimes there's little fights over. When I come home, I'm so damn tired from work, I'll tell her I see ghosts. And when she knows that, that means, like, I can't even form words. Words are hard. I just need to take a nap. Okay, so maybe there'll be a fight over that. I would say our most recent fight was when she was listening to a podcast, and I was like, I. I can't. I can't do any more voices. I've heard people's voices in my head for, like, 12 hours straight. Bones at Amy and Lunchbox. I can't do any more voices. And she goes, I was in a good mood, and you just put me in a bad mood. So that was our last fight.
Raymundo
I think that's a. That's a fair fight. I'm on bae side with that one.
Morgan
You fight with your dog, right?
Raymundo
This is about you. We're gonna focus on you. And, no, I don't fight with my dog or my cat. That's the best part of having pets. Favorite event at coaches convention this year, Lori from Massachusetts.
Morgan
I'm gonna go with Escape Game. Just because you actually had to use your brain, it forced me to not get hammered the night before. And it was so much fun. It was an hour. Did we get out in an hour? No. We needed so many hints. But you're able to. It's something about just community. We were all working together. It was like me and seven other.
Raymundo
People, and you and Lunchbox were split up.
Morgan
Split up on different teams, and we had to. It was so much fun. People would sit from St. Louis. The day ones, Nikki and Ryan, they were awesome. Like, they were so much fun to work with. Joe was great. We were, like, effing with each other. It was really, really fun. Like, you would think Escape Game hungover. It's gonna be miserable. Guys, if you're going to Nashville, work it into your trip and thank me later.
Raymundo
Two questions. So you didn't get out? You never got out?
Morgan
Oh, no. We needed, like, 10 clues, and we still didn't get out.
Raymundo
Okay. Did not make it to. How do you think the show would do collectively in an escape room?
Morgan
That would be fun. Bones would try to take control. Lunch would be so loud. I would not want to do it with lunch. You got to do it with people that are quieter and listeners more than talkers.
Raymundo
Like, you have one leader kind of taking in the group, and you all follow. Okay, I haven't done one of those. I feel like I need to add one now onto my list.
Morgan
You do it every day when you're trying to escape the bar from all those dudes.
Raymundo
Right. You just keep throwing, like, zingers at me, and I don't know how to respond.
Morgan
That's a good one, though.
Raymundo
That's a good one. But I don't. I still know how to respond. Who is the MVP of coaches convention? Who is the most degenerate? Preston.
Morgan
Most degenerate was Callaway. He took his shirt off night one, hour one, and almost got bounced out of Chiefs. He was the most degenerate. And then what was the other one?
Raymundo
It was who was the mvp?
Morgan
Mvp. I love Jesse Leva. I think that's how you say his last name. He was a blast. The final night, he broke up with his girlfriend and they went home in separate flights.
Raymundo
Wait, that was there?
Morgan
Yes.
Raymundo
Hold on. Why? Why did they.
Morgan
Don't know. Don't know. They got in a fight. I don't know. I don't know. He got. He would throw me a tequila shot. His laugh was great. He's my MVP of coaches convention.
Raymundo
But then he broke up with his girlfriend at the end.
Morgan
Yeah. Wild.
Raymundo
Coaches convention is crazy.
Morgan
Yeah.
Raymundo
Okay, we're gonna take a quick break. We'll be right back again. I still don't know how to respond to half of these things.

Raymundo
Ashley in Arizona wants to know if there's any upcoming merch from Less stress, more life.
Morgan
Oh, my gosh. We need to start doing some merch with coaches. Merch. I've been telling Lunchbox we need to do that.
Raymundo
Coach.
Morgan
Yes.
Raymundo
You should literally just have a, like a crew neck that says coach.
Morgan
We do.
Raymundo
I said crew neck, not a sweatshirt.
Morgan
We have a crew neck.
Raymundo
You do have a crew neck. Give me one of those. I'll wear it.
Morgan
Sore losers.com. yes. And we're gonna need you to take pictures of it, put on your Instagram and we'll compensate you $10.
Raymundo
Yeah, I don't need to be commentary, but just give me one. I'll wear it.
Morgan
And yes, I've been telling lunch we need to have a pow wow with him, his wife, our merch people in LA and have a talk and really get some new merch out there. Rain Bay Designs. Bazer actually like branched off and was gonna do a hat project with her friend Heather. And I was like, what? You're not gonna cut me in on it? But then it. They weren't able to get the press to work on the hat, so they just didn't do it. But I'm going to tell baser we need to get some Rand. It's the year of the merch, less merch. Okay, what am I marrying? Merch. What are you wearing? Merch.
Raymundo
Neither one of us have anything that has labels on it.
Morgan
Right now you got to wear jeans.
Raymundo
Besides your thing, what does your day to day look like from Winnie?
Morgan
Day to day, I have to wake up. I wake up every day around midnight and then come to work, do some crap. Either I'll take a small nap or I'll go to the gym. I've been under the weather, so I've not been to the gym. I do not want to lie there. In the last week, I have been under Z weather. And then we usually get out of here between one and two, take a nap, go home chilling with Bazer, take a solid nap. And then I like to run, I like to cold plunge, play a little bit of video games. I got a new PlayStation 5 for Christmas. It's awesome. There's so many things I can do on it.
Raymundo
Do you have to do any work at home besides our prep? Do you have to do any like work at home or is all of your work here at the studio?
Morgan
All at the studio. That's how I've done it.
Raymundo
I'm so jealous.
Morgan
When I leave here, I leave work. That's how I did it at the lumber mill and that's how I do it now.
Raymundo
Thank you for that. Look into your life. Right?
Morgan
And then I beg Baser for dinner around 5. 50% of the time, she'll make me dinner. The other 50%, small fight. Just kidding. She's great. She's great. And then I try to go to bed around six.
Raymundo
Bed around. So you get like six hours of sleep? Well, five if you're waking up and driving in.
Morgan
Yeah.
Raymundo
Dang. Right. That's not a lot Of.
Morgan
But then I take a nap in the afternoon.
Raymundo
Okay. I don't. Yeah, we might need to add some hours to your sleep schedule.
Morgan
Okay, I'll update that. I'll keep you guys. I'll let you guys know next time.
Raymundo
Okay. Planning a summer trip to the upper peninsula, which you always often say is up or up.
Morgan
Yeah, well it's called the upper peninsula and it's also up. So it all works together.
Raymundo
What are the must do, Must do's and don't do's In Michigan you gotta.
Morgan
Go to the beach. So munising. Is that Lake Michigan or is that Superior? You gotta go along. I believe it's Highway 2. Right along Lake Michigan. It is gorgeous.
Raymundo
Okay.
Morgan
There's beach, there's awesome waves. See, Lake Superior is a colder lake. Lake Michigan, you can get out and actually you can just park your car on the side of the road and go run in it and then get back in your car and drive on Highway 2.
Raymundo
That's cool.
Morgan
Yes. So that is a must do. It's so gorgeous with the beach. You see a little ice cream place, stop, go to it. You see woolly mammoth, you see Santa Claus, there's all these random little stops that are so cool. And do it. I don't know bar wise because I never really drank when I was up there so I couldn't tell you that. That's all I got.
Raymundo
Okay. Any don't do's, don't.
Morgan
You don't go to Gwyn Michigan. It's the most godforsaken town I've ever been to in my life.
Raymundo
That your hometown?
Morgan
That's my hometown.
Raymundo
Mike and Sierra from Pennsylvania would like to know our likes and dislikes at weddings. And they love us.
Morgan
Oh, and the is now legal in Michigan.
Raymundo
Okay.
Morgan
So it's all over the place.
Raymundo
Understood.
Morgan
Yeah. A lot of people growing. What was the question?
Raymundo
It was our. Our dislikes and likes at weddings. Love you all from Mike and Sierra.
Morgan
Dislikes and likes. I mean, you know.
Raymundo
You want to know something I dislike? This will give you a time to think on it. My dislike at a wedding, every single time on the dance floor. Somehow we end up in a circle and people are in the middle. I hate that. If you are the bride and groom. Love that. That's your. That's your day. You do whatever you want. Anybody else? And we continue that circle past that bride and groom. I am so annoyed.
Morgan
Likes is an open bar, obviously. Let's not do the drink tickets. Likes is downtown city, great views. That's likes. When you can Just because you're at a wedding, you're thinking of the future. You're like, oh, you know, even if you're. So if you're single, you're at a wedding. I want to get married. I want this kind of wealth.
Raymundo
You're not a barn guy.
Morgan
I want this lavish stuff. I'm not a barn guy. Not a barn guy. Even though I'm a country guy now for weddings, I'm more of a city. I did this one in the old warehouse. Yeah, you probably know the exact spot. It's right there. We all pass it when we're going on west. Yeah, it's gorgeous. And it was just. You could see the skyline, and it's just like, such big thoughts. That entire wedding, it's like, man, I've made it. Boom. That's likes, dislikes, dislikes. Babies, kids, dogs, awkward conversations, table settings, pressure, trying to think.
Raymundo
We have very different variations of a wedding.
Morgan
One of my one friends got so mad at me because I just went to the party portions of his wedding. And even with lunch, I didn't go to his actual. Like when he. When he got.
Raymundo
Go to the ceremony.
Morgan
Ceremony, guys, you're. You can't make your friends go to the entire. It's your job to go to the wedding thing. You and your person. You can't make the people do it. I've got so many friends. My one friend, like, was so mad, I didn't go to his. I didn't go to his ceremony. I didn't go to lunch's ceremony. Bones, he goes. Bones goes. Oh, word is you didn't do the Sonic at the very end of the night. Well, Bones, I don't need to stay for six hours at your wedding. I was there for all of it. I left on the bus with Keith and Scotty.
Raymundo
You made sure that you were there for the ceremony at Bobby's.
Morgan
Yeah, because it was outside and we're all sitting there.
Raymundo
Okay. But, yes, you have a very different view of weddings than I do.
Morgan
So there's no. I don't pressure people to stay for every little thing. They leave when they leave, you know, they're there to support they out. It's.
Raymundo
Yeah.
Morgan
Over to you.
Raymundo
Well, I am the opposite of you, Ray. I like a barn wedding. I don't mind those. But what I really like is an open buffet. Lots of food flowing versus the really fancy dinners. Those aren't very fun to me.
Morgan
Okay.
Raymundo
I think open bar, open buffet, just more fun and casual. Cause weddings are supposed to be fun.
Morgan
Yes.
Raymundo
When you're super elegant and everything. I get it if that's your vibe. But like, I just. I have so much more fun at weddings that it's not like I need to be dressed to the nines and I'm sitting here having like this very five course meal. That's not what I see.
Morgan
Okay.
Raymundo
And dessert. Amazing. Again, if you have a little open buffet type situation for dessert, you have multiple options. I think that's cool. The cake is all your guys'you. Guys can take it and run with it and then do other things for dessert.
Morgan
Ice cream station.
Raymundo
Love that. Super fun. I was at one that had a Mac and cheese station.
Morgan
Where was the ice cream station at the CMA Awards?
Katherine Legge
Yes.
Raymundo
Yeah, the ice cream station was awesome. I just love like a buffet, like any station type things.
Morgan
Those.
Raymundo
I think those are cool.
Morgan
Got it.
Raymundo
Mike had a food truck at his. I thought that was awesome.
Morgan
CMA Awards also had the candy station.
Raymundo
Yes. See, there's just cool. You do cool stuff like that. I think that's more fun than a five course meal.
Morgan
That's good stuff.
Raymundo
Also that. Yeah. The dancing on the floor. Don't like. I do like dogs at wedding. I think it's so stinking cute. Also agree on the kids part. I've been to enough kid free weddings now and they are awesome. Yeah, I like kids, but weddings just aren't the place really for kids to be. I don't think they have as much fun unless they're really actively involved in that family.
Morgan
Got it.
Raymundo
So I'm good with you on that. Those are the ones that I can think of right now.
Morgan
Deal.
Raymundo
That's all I got. So, Ray, we're done.
Morgan
Yes.
Raymundo
Thanks for being here again.
Morgan
Of course.
Raymundo
For part two. We came up on another day to do it. Apparently that's the joke. So we were just running with it at this point.
Morgan
Yeah, we did. This Saturday morning, Lunchbox is getting really.
Raymundo
Mad that I'm not running with his joke. He liked that it bothered me and now I'm just running with it, so. But again, thanks for being here. Thanks for answering all the questions.
Morgan
Yeah.
Raymundo
And tell the people where they can find you.
Morgan
Sizz and Raymundo. And then Sore losers podcast. Me and Lunchbox rocking that. Yeah.
Raymundo
Awesome. We'll see you guys next weekend. Bye.
Morgan
That's the best bits of the week with Morgan. Thanks for listening. Be sure to check out the other two parts this weekend. Go follow the show on all social platforms obbyboneshow and follow ebgirlmorgan to submit your listener questions for next week's. Episode.

Podcast Summary: The Bobby Bones Show – Best Bits: Listener Q&A With Morgan and Raymundo
Release Date: February 1, 2025
In the episode titled "Best Bits: Listener Q&A With Morgan and Raymundo", hosted by Morgan and Raymundo, listeners are treated to an engaging and candid Q&A session. This episode delves into personal anecdotes, relationship dynamics, event experiences, and everyday life insights, all while maintaining a lighthearted and humorous tone.
Morgan and Raymundo kick off the Q&A by addressing listener questions about their personal lives, particularly focusing on nicknames and how they refer to their significant others.
Nickname Confusion:
Raymundo asks, "Does BAE call you Raymundo from Craig?"
Morgan clarifies, “[...] some of my friends call me Sizzle, and I think Anna calls me Sizzle and Eric. So I guess the Dodds really are the only ones that call me Sizzle. [...] People on Broadway will randomly say, Susan Bazer doesn't even call me Ray.”
Terms of Endearment:
When probed about what his partner calls him, Morgan responds, "She calls me nothing, Babe. No, no. She just knows when I hear her voice that I'll know she's talking to me."
Creative Naming:
Raymundo teases, "You love making up names," to which Morgan admits, "I'll call her Lorraine. I call her Mama. But then she got annoyed with that." This playful banter highlights the unique and affectionate ways they interact within their relationships.
The conversation shifts to their experiences at a recent coaches convention, with Morgan recounting a memorable escape game activity.
Escape Game Adventure:
Morgan shares, “I'm gonna go with Escape Game. Just because you actually had to use your brain, it forced me to not get hammered the night before. And it was so much fun.” Despite the team's struggle to escape quickly, the camaraderie was evident as Raymundo adds, “We were all working together.”
Team Dynamics:
Discussing team interactions, Morgan mentions, “Bones would try to take control. Lunch would be so loud. I would not want to do it with lunch.” This highlights the diverse personalities within their group and how it affects collaborative activities.
Feedback on Escape Rooms:
When asked if they ever escaped, Morgan humorously admits, “We needed, like, 10 clues, and we still didn't get out,” leading Raymundo to ponder, “How do you think the show would do collectively in an escape room?”
A lively segment unfolds around the topic of creating merchandise for their show, reflecting their entrepreneurial spirit and connection with fans.
Merch Ideas:
Responding to Ashley’s query about upcoming merch, Morgan enthusiastically states, “Oh, my gosh. We need to start doing some merch with coaches.”
Product Suggestions:
Raymundo suggests, “You should literally just have a, like a crew neck that says coach,” to which Morgan affirms, “We have a crew neck.”
Creative Plans:
Morgan elaborates on future plans, saying, “I've been telling Lunchbox we need to have a pow wow with him, his wife, our merch people in LA and have a talk and really get some new merch out there.” This indicates ongoing efforts to expand their brand and engage with their audience through merchandise.
Listeners gain a glimpse into Morgan’s daily life, offering relatable content about balancing work and personal well-being.
Morning Routine:
Morgan explains, “I wake up every day around midnight and then come to work, do some crap. Either I'll take a small nap or I'll go to the gym.”
Health and Hobbies:
Discussing his recent health, Morgan shares, “I've been under the weather, so I've not been to the gym. I do not want to lie there.” He also mentions enjoying, “run, cold plunge, play a little bit of video games” with his new PlayStation 5.
Work-Life Balance:
Morgan emphasizes the separation between work and home, “All at the studio. That's how I've done it,” aligning his current routine with past practices at the lumber mill.
When asked about planning a summer trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, Morgan provides practical advice and personal preferences.
Must-Do Activities:
“Go to the beach. So Munising. [...] Highway 2. Right along Lake Michigan. It is gorgeous,” advises Morgan, highlighting the scenic beauty and recreational opportunities.
Beach Experiences:
He adds, “Lake Michigan, you can get out and actually you can just park your car on the side of the road and go run in it and then get back in your car and drive on Highway 2.”
Local Attractions:
Morgan points out, “You see a little ice cream place, stop, go to it. You see woolly mammoth, you see Santa Claus,” emphasizing the charming and quirky stops along the way.
What to Avoid:
