Okay, it is June 27th and what I'm going to attempt is to do three, four, five, six minutes or so every day while on vacation. Because we are going nowhere on this vacation. And that was a choice we feel like with this week. And we always take two weeks off in the summer, but we do it one week now. We'll do one summer fall a couple months from now and usually we will go somewhere and I will say, man, I would just love to have a vacation where I just do nothing, just stay at home. And we're staying at home this time. And a little bit I'm already going crazy because I don't know what I'm going to do.

we have a three month old. I have always said I wanted to stay home. So with those factors, we are going to stay home for this vacation. So we're gonna do nothing. So I'm gonna make a list of things to do during the break so I don't go crazy now. This will not be work, but I do feel like I need a little bit of structure. Even if it's have fun structure, even if it's relaxed structure. Whenever we go on vacation, if it is a trip, I like to have that structured out. I like to know when I need to be somewhere, where I need to be, how long it takes to get there, because I can truly only relax if I know all the loose ends are tied up. So leading into this, we did work very hard on getting all the shows done, meaning Monday was fully done. And we did a full podcast to go with Monday. So there were for sure two parts. Tuesday, full show, second podcast. Wednesday, full show. I know there was a second podcast. I'm trying to remember what we did, but I know Thursday we did the 100 questions easy trivia and that is always a beast to do. So that's five people getting the same 100 questions and every year we just declare a 100 question champion. So we did that leading up to it as well. And I know that was on the podcast feed on Thursday. That did not actually go on the air. That was something that just the podcast listeners or the YouTube viewers got to watch. So we did that. And then we put out the lunchbox special on Friday of vacation, which is weird because it's not actually out yet. But we did it for Friday. But if you're hearing this, it means it was. It's already been out. But we did the 911 special then. So we, you know, worked double hard so we could take off. And that's where we are now. This is day one. I'm going to make a list and I'm going to do them again. This could be kind of sloppy, I don't know. But there you go. That's all I have for today. Day one, vacation over. Okay, day two, vacation. Looks like today is the 28th. I have a list of things that I am going to do. Sorry. On vacation. So here's my full list. It's in my notes as vacation checklist. Number one is finish my book. I've got a book I'm about halfway through. Number two is over the nine days because it's two weekends, four days and then five days in the middle. I need to do five total workouts. So at least every other day I need to do some sort of exercise. I want to golf at least once. I've only played golf one time this year. Well, one and a half times because I had to do the client event. But I like to golf at least once. That would be nice. I would like to play pickleball at least once. I'm a little nervous because I've not played pickleball since the surgery on my ankle from playing pickleball. So I have that on my list. I plan to watch three movies in this downtime. Now I don't watch three movies a year. Maybe the last couple years I think I've probably seen three because my wife, especially when she was pregnant early, she liked to go to the movies. So we did that. But normal years I might watch a movie a year. Not a big movie guy, but on the list I have watched three movies. I have to send a YouTube strategy to one of our bosses. So I put that to do. And I'm going to send Eddie a cameo every day that he is on his vacation in Puerto Rico. Now, I don't ever text with the Show. I purposefully avoid everybody all week long. And it's weird with somebody like Eddie, who's my best friend, because if I just disappear, he'll think I died. So as a bit for a couple of reasons, I'm going to find a cameo and I'm going to send it to Eddie every single day. So this is the one that I sent him this morning. This is William Hung.

William Hung. I text that to him. William Hung was the shebangs guy for American Idol. And why William Hung is because Eddie and I first met at a William Hung show. Yeah, it was our meet Cute. William Hung was doing a show in Austin at some sort of like vacuum cleaner store. And I was doing mornings on 96.7KISS FM in Austin. He was working for News 8 in Austin. And we were there at the same time covering the William Hung show because there were a lot of people there. And that is actually where we met the very first time. So when I saw William Hung was on cameo, I had to send Eddie that cameo from William Hung. So that's day number one. He replied, ha ha ha. Did you buy a cameo from William Hung? And then he sent me a picture of Puerto Rico. It looks like the woods or the forest or the jungle maybe with the skyline. Now, I'm not going to reply to anything he sends me. I'm only sending him cameos for six or seven days, however many days it is. I'm not going to send him one on his travel day home, but every day I'm going to send him a new one. So William Hong is day one. Other things that I plan to do tomorrow, I am going to work a little bit. My wife said, thought you weren't working. But I'm not going to work with the show. I'm going to work with my personal crew and go and shoot an in the Weeds episode and some other content that I'm doing. The in the Weeds stuff's been kind of wild because that was never supposed to be anything successful. I didn't think anything would like that anybody would like that show, to be honest. And I Guess it's a show because we ended up putting it up on the podcast feed here. If you're listening to this, it's on the same feed. And we did it a couple times. And when I put it up on YouTube, one of the episodes got like 70,000 views. And I couldn't believe that people would watch such inside stuff about me talking about my job or the industry or Nashville, because a lot of it is so inside. So I did another one and it popped. I did another one and it did okay. Not super pop, but was still better than I thought the first one would even do. Then I put Amy on one. Boom, that one popped hard. So I guess I'm gonna do some more in the weeds for a while, but I'm gonna do one tomorrow with my personal crew. So my personal crews, Brandon Ray Dylan, you know, I have a staff that I keep outside of the show that we shoot a lot of the Bobby Cat stuff where Mike is a bit split because I pay Mike a separate salary to be my head guy for producer needs. I mean, Brandon's my head of creative outside of the radio show, but my main producer is Mike Dylan does video editing. Kickoff. Kevin I have on my payroll because he does a lot of stuff for me as well. And so that is the staff, although Mike's in New York, so Mike won't be there. But I'm leaving all those guys alone. I'm not texting Amy, I'm not texting Mike, and I'd probably be texting with them somewhat if it were a normal week. So Eddie, Amy and Mike will not text at all until at least later in the week. So that's it. It's Sunday. That's all I got. I plan to start watching movies at some point today. All right, goodbye. Okay, I sent Eddie another cameo. I'm gonna start with that here. All right, that's enough of that. Okay, so I sent him J. Nova check. He responded. Hahaha. Dude, this is crazy. I feel like he just needs someone to talk to, right? Yeah. So I watched two movies. My goal was three, so I watched two movies. I watched Pressure, which I had never heard of, but it was about D Day and Brendan Fraser plays Dwight D. Eisenhower. And it's about how they were invading Normandy, but if the weather was bad, they wouldn't be able to get there. It was good because of the history element. Like the historical parts of it were really cool. There were some things I didn't know, like they had to bring in this meteorologist from, I think from Scotland. And the whole movie's about weather. So if you're not into the history, I don't think it's for you. Because there's no real war that's seen no shoot em up, bang bangs. I give it 4 out of 5 ocean torrential rainfalls. But I think I give it that extra half star because I just like history. Really good acting, even though I don't really know what that is. I did watch a movie called Good Luck, have Fun, Don't Die, which I was just flipping through and really enjoyed it, at least the first hour and a half of it. And then it just got weird. So I give that three stars. And I love time travel movies. I love time travel for sure, and apocalypse movies, things like that. But good Luck, have Fun, Don't Die. As much as the time travel movie, it started off freaking awesome. I did not. It just kind of lost me. Wasn't even about the acting or the ending or. It just kind of lost me. But I watched two movies in one day. I'm gonna play pickleball tomorrow on my at one point, bad ankle. So I'm a little nervous about that, A little excited about that. Both so. And I plan to watch. I sweat like crazy. I was able to play without worrying much about my ankle, though, which is very exciting for me. You can ask me tomorrow. I'm sure it will be sore tomorrow. I was told by my doctor it was going to be sore.

So not to freak out if it's sore, but if it's sharp pains, that's different. So I did play pickleball earlier today with a friend. So I'm very excited that I played and didn't have to think about, oh, my God, don't want to step here because it hurts. Because any of my friends that are athletes, like professional athletes, that's what they've said about coming back from an injury. Now coming back, I don't know what I'm coming back to do. I did well. I did finish third in a pickleball tournament when I tore my ankle. To be fair, maybe I'm coming back to be competitive again, but I didn't think about it. And it never shot lightning through my ankle, so that's pretty cool. We'll see tomorrow how it feels.

movie wise. I don't want to review the movies anymore because I think I'm just going to do a whole movie podcast because I've hit my I think I punched four now. I watched the Last Duel with Matt Damon. It's from a few years ago. I think it came out during COVID It was back in Game of Thrones time and I watched the outfit, which is kind of a mobster movie on Netflix. I'm gonna hold off on reviews, but I did watch yeah, the Last Duel I believe on Paramount. Plus I'm now going to chat GPT for recommendations. What I did is I put in all the movies that I'd watched so far and I gave them all reviews. And then I'm gonna see what ChatGPT says and if I have time, I'm gonna watch more movies. But I'm just gonna follow that as a bit and see how good it does at predicting movies. I'll probably plug in a few other movies that I really love and just go, this is movie I love. This is my rating and give it, you know, 15 movies or so and then let it start telling me what to watch based on my reviews of other movies I've seen. I wear a mouth guard when I go to sleep because I chew so hard and I think I or someone threw it away. I had it. I was wearing it in the kitchen. I put it in a paper towel and I probably threw the paper towel away without thinking about it because it is clear. So I do not know where my mouth guard is. I had two. I chewed completely through the other one. That's where we are. I have no mouth guard, low heat exhaustion and ankle's okay. And I watched a couple more movies. So there you go. Modest Yahoo played Stubbs When Eddie and I were in Austin together and we worked at a music television station together and they'd always play Modest Yahoo videos. And so Modest Yahoo Is still doing his thing, I guess. I don't know if you guys know who that is. I don't know that I would have known who it was had he notice Yahoo been coming through Austin a lot and me working at a music television station. I'm going to read you about Modest Yahoo because he has interesting stuff. Okay, here you go. Anyway, so my cameo today was from Modest Yahoo. It's one word. Modest Yahoo. So there you go. Played golf with Matt Castle today, who is my partner on my NFL podcast called Lots to say. We did not do the podcast this week. I only worked on Monday, and we have always said we should play golf, we should play golf. But he has five kids and have five jobs, so we've never been able to make it work. So I texted him earlier in the week and just said, hey, I'm wide open. Anytime Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. Anytime, 7am to 6pm Any of those days I can play. And so we ended up playing earlier today, and I think we got on at like 10am it was so freaking hot. We finished like seven or eight holes and we both were sweating through our shirts and we ended up only playing nine holes. Yeah, we're weak. My ankle is a little sore, but I'm feeling pretty good about it because it's only a little sore. I watched two more movies. I watched Companion, and then I watched Strange Darling. Probably overall, so far of all my movie days, my strongest movie day. So between staying home, listen, I'm spending a lot of time with the baby, too. Like, that's really why we're staying home, is we have a teething baby. It's three months. She's three months old, and so we're just home with Billy and just chilling. So I am getting baby stuff done. My wife really is crushing the baby stuff, but getting baby stuff done. I'm taking shifts, and I'm never. I'm not watching any movies fully through, but I am able to get through, like, 45 minutes at a time with them. So I don't want to hear any. I don't hear your stuff, but there you go. That is today's list, and I'll see you guys tomorrow. Okay, Check it back in. It is Thursday. It is Thursday. Today's July 2nd. We had to make a executive decision. Eller will go to training a couple times a week. And we had. We sent her off for the weekend to the training area. They kind of have a weekend camp and they sleep up there on the weekends because she goes bonkers during fireworks. The last couple years, I thought she was going to run through a glass wall. Like, she goes so crazy that we actually said, okay, let's think about this. We have a baby. We have two dogs that go absolutely bananas with fireworks. One of them short and fat. He ain't gonna do much, but Eller was, like, running around knocking stuff over. It scared her too much. So when we go, we leave town. If we leave town, Ella will go out there anyway. So we sent her over there today. We'll get her on Monday. I feel pretty good about that decision because I actually remembered to do that. So.

I've been. Be honest with you. I have not picked up my book, which is very unfortunate because I really plan to read it. But I've just kind of gotten obsessed with any free time watching movies, see how many movies I can cram in. So that's what's up. I know Today I watched September 5th, which is about the Olympic hostage situation in Munich. This is like 78, I believe, 1978. And as they were doing the Olympics, the some of the Israeli Olympians were held hostage. I don't know if it's spoiling it because it's news. I'll just say it was historical and I'll save all the reviews, but it was worth it for me. I didn't know enough about that, honestly. And that was a real life situation. And I watched Sicario, which I've never seen. Oh, by the way, I forgot to say this yesterday. I've now started watching movies that ChatGPT recommends me. And I've never seen Sicario. Emily Blunt. It's cartels, Mexican drug. Yeah, how about that? You guys have probably all seen Sicario. I think most people have seen Sicario. My wife walked in, she's now calling me Mr. Cinema. She walked in and she's like, what's Mr. Cinema watching today? And it was Sicario. She's like, yeah, I've seen that. So she also did say, I'll never watch movies, but I've watched nine or something already. But she also knows how obsessed I get about things. I got my new mouth guards in from my dentist. It's softer rubber too. So shout out to my dentist for getting me the new mouth guards in. So we love that.

I'm recording from the same microphone in the same studio. Same part of my house where we have our morning show studio. So the production here may be bad. Cause I haven't put any audio clips. Gold Belly has never spent a nickel with me for advertising. Not a single nickel. This is not an advertisement. But I like that app because I can go on there and just type in vegan, and I'm not a vegan, but I can't have dairy. So if it's vegan, I know it doesn't have dairy anyway, but ordered these, like, whoopie pies is what they're called, and ordered some other chocolate thing, and they came today, and they were pretty good. What we're nervous about is if the baby's going to be able to sleep, because we live close enough to downtown to definitely get the effects of that. And we do have neighbors that shoe fireworks. So it's the fourth. We're not doing anything. My agent did come over today. He doesn't live here. He's a northeast guy, and so he was in town. He's going to the Fourth of July fireworks show here tonight. We have a big office. My agency has a big office here in Nashville, so I think he's going with some of his other agent type folks and then heading across the country. So he was here, got to meet the baby for the first time. Got to meet old Billy. And that's what's up. I watched it. Really? I don't want to say much about it. I said I wouldn't review it, but I watched a movie called Prisoners because Chat GPT is recommended movies now. Prisoners with Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Jackman. It's about two kids being abducted. Is good. That's all I'll say. It's over two hours long. I burn a little bit on these two hour movies, but, yeah, so watch Prisoners. I plan to watch another one late tonight. And then I watch no country for Old Men, so I watched the menu last night. I watched no country for Old Men today. So I watched a total of Right now, if I don't watch another one tonight, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 movies. Nine days.

This is my vacation diary. I watch movies. I played golf, played pickleball. I was good. Spent a lot of time with the baby. Watched a lot of movies, got some work done.
