Ladies and fellas, we just follow in
Kat
the spirit where it tell us from the real Stuff to the chill stuff and the in between. Sometimes the best thing you can do is just stop and feel things.
Amy
This is feeling things with Amy and Kat.
Kat
Happy Tuesday. Welcome to feeling things. I'm Amy. And I'm Kat and I'm feeling wild and worried.
Amy
Ooh.
Kat
You know some. Yeah. And before we came on air, just so y' all know, Kat and I were singing a song. Energy, energy, we need energy. E N E G R Y.
Amy
You just added some to the song.
Kat
I don't even know if I spelled that correctly. No, I was spelling it.
Amy
Oh. I was saying give Amy energy.
Kat
Oh. I thought we both needed it.
Amy
Think.
Kat
Do you feel good?
Amy
I feel pretty good. I feel like yeah, I've been getting out of breath but I have plenty of energy right now.
Kat
Okay.
Amy
But if you want me to be in that with you, I will.
Kat
Well, I have a little afternoon pick me up my coffee. But I brought this cuz part of the reason why I'm wowed.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
Did you know that straws are supposed to go like this?
Amy
No, they're not.
Kat
Yes, they are.
Amy
No, they're not.
Kat
Yes, they are. Yes they are. Because when you get to the bottom, it's easier to slurp up what's left at the bottom. You know how if you were on this end you have to like maneuver it? No, I told you. I saw so many posts about it.
Amy
I don't think that's right.
Kat
No, it's right. It is right. I know, I know it seems crazy, but that's. You've been drink using your straws all wrong.
Amy
Isn't it easy to slurp up the bottom with the other side too?
Kat
No.
Amy
What makes that better? It's.
Kat
It's already been. You don't have to maneuver your cup. You just. You're ready to go. You don't. I saw this and it made sense to me. Does it not?
Amy
I don't think that's because I've always
Kat
done my straw the other way. But especially the kind from to go restaurants that are bendy. You bend it and it goes.
Amy
Definitely are not supposed to go upside down.
Kat
That's what they said even in a juice box. So like in a Capri. Like a. Not a Capri sun because those straws are straight, but an apple juice box that has the bend. When you're drinking apple juice box, you're trying to slurp up every last thing but when you put the bend in first, you can get the end. You can get all the apple juice in the box.
Amy
Does this not make Sense to you?
Kat
Because I saw it and I was
Amy
like, right, I think. This is what I think. I think you can do that.
Kat
I think we should look up the original invention of the straw, because when I saw it, I was wowed.
Amy
But I thought the straw goes like that so it can come into your mouth like when you hold a juice box. Did your mom used to flip up the end of the juice box so it has little two holders on the side?
Kat
No, but I did see later in life that that's what those are for.
Amy
Okay, so when you're holding it, it's. So you just have to like.
Kat
Yeah, but imagine if you had the bendy down you get. Anyway, it doesn't matter. I was wowed by it. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm. This is stupid.
Amy
But if it. If it makes you feel good and you enjoy it makes drinking that more fun.
Kat
Well, I don't know. I just was wowed by it. But maybe not. I'm also worried.
Amy
Okay. What are you worried about?
Kat
I'm worried that I was wowed by that. Maybe you should be lorried. Here, I'll show you. Let me pull this up on my phone. I took a screenshot of it. I woke up this morning, and my aura ring. I check my app, and it had this sort of red cloud situation. Orange, almost like.
Amy
Like.
Kat
Yeah, it's kind of ominous.
Amy
Ominous.
Kat
Is that what that does that fit feels ominous?
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
And it says symptom radar. Minor signs. Your biometrics show minor signs of something straining your body. Pay attention to how you're feeling today and give yourself time to rest if needed. Okay. Symptom radar. It's the first time I've gotten a. It's. It's probably because it's getting to know my biometrics because I've now had my ring for a few weeks now, and it takes a minute for it to build up your body's normal heart rate and temperature, and something's off.
Amy
Well. And you were just complaining about your back hurting.
Kat
Yeah.
Amy
And being stressed.
Kat
Yeah.
Amy
So it's.
Kat
I think I know what it is.
Amy
Yeah, that freaks me out. That.
Kat
Isn't that crazy?
Amy
Well, I. When I first saw you put that in the doc, my first thought was like, is your aura ring good for you? Because, you know, when you have that kind of stuff, sometimes you can, like, become, like, obsessed with it and work, like, worried. But I see where your worries come as long as you don't feel well.
Kat
I just. If. If. If you think my body is reacting to some things. That are going on in my life right now. Fine. That's just information. I'm like, oh, wow, that tracks. But if I'm having other animals, I mean, I don't know, is it telling me I have something else? We'll see when I wake up tomorrow. I'm not going to add more stress by stressing about it. Even though I just said I was feeling worried, I think I know that I'm worried. I already know I'm worried. I'm worried about something and in a few days there will be resolve to that and I won't need to be worried anymore and it will be fine. But what's crazy is I know I'm worried and my ring picked up on my worry.
Amy
Yeah, that is kind of. I wouldn't say freaking me out, but it's worrying that how?
Kat
Well, but I also.
Amy
That.
Kat
Yeah, yeah.
Amy
Because, you know, I went on a stint trying to wear a ring like that, but I got the off brand one right. And the battery kept dying and that was stressing me out. And so I was like, this isn't worth it.
Kat
I got a request for. Obviously we do endorsements for different things. And I got a request for, I guess, an off brand ring.
Amy
I wonder if it's the one that I used.
Kat
I don't know. But I just got it this morning and I replied back and I was like, I just got an aura ring like three weeks ago, and if I start promoting this, it just will not be in alignment because I've been.
Amy
You've been talking about screaming from the
Kat
rooftops about my aura and I paid the full.
Amy
Oh, you pay the membership and everything?
Kat
Yeah, it's like five bucks.
Amy
Well, I got this other ring because I didn't have a membership. And then I'm like, the membership was
Kat
probably worth it because isn't that how you get the data?
Amy
Yeah, but the one I got. You got the data, but you didn't have to pay for the membership. Oh, but I think that just. I have lower quality.
Kat
Yeah.
Amy
Anywho, I'm sorry that you're feeling worried.
Kat
It's okay.
Amy
We do have some information about the bendy straw.
Kat
Oh, shall do. I might. Do I not want to look? Oh, no. The bendy straw was invented in 1937 by Joseph Friedman, Shout out. He patented the first flexible straw, which. Speaking of patents, did you know I'm working on a patent?
Amy
Yeah, but you haven't told me what it's for.
Kat
It's top secret. Using dental floss and a screw to create an accordion like joint. After watching his daughter struggle to reach her milkshake. Oh, so it was invented for that? Well, I got got. I got got.
Amy
You did get got. But I thought it was really adorable how excited you were about that. And if it works, let it work for you.
Kat
I really thought that it was to get it out of the bottom.
Amy
You were like, every human on earth has been using their straws.
Kat
I know. I was like, well, this is about the. The. The bendy straw, right? What about the metal straw with. What about the metal straw with a bend?
Amy
I think that is a reusable bendy straw.
Kat
The. The. We haven't talked about the metal straw with the bend. Google that. See what comes up.
Amy
He's like, I will make this work for me.
Kat
What are your. What's your feelings of the day?
Amy
Okay. I'm feeling quite relieved because I've been talking about this for probably a month now, and I'm even sick of talking about it. The baby stroller.
Kat
Oh, yeah.
Amy
Patrick, my husband, you know, he doesn't. He's the most easygoing guy in the world. Doesn't get annoyed. He was annoyed with me.
Kat
Wow.
Amy
So we opened. We bought a stroller, like, two weeks ago, and I still couldn't stop researching and overthinking and, well, do I need this? And blah, blah, blah, blah. We opened the box last night.
Kat
We can't return it because you opened it. Once you open it.
Amy
This is actually really interesting. And I thought. I really liked this because I was like, why can't we open it and look at it and, you know, roll it around the house and then decide if we want it? But they don't. You can't return a stroller because you've touched it and contaminated it. So they don't want to package that back up and sell it to another family because of the germs.
Kat
Wait, what?
Amy
Yeah, I thought that was cool.
Kat
Okay. But there's so many items. Other baby items, people's homes.
Amy
That's fair. There's other baby items that you can do that with. But that's what I was told. Maybe it's some. The same as the bendy stroller.
Kat
Spray it down.
Amy
But, yeah, you can't return the stroller. And Patrick was like, well, we could just, like, tape the box back really good. But it's one of those boxes where it, like the. The. There's, like, perforated cardboard, not just taped, so you couldn't. But we opened it. I really liked it, and he made the deal that if I hate it, he'll buy me A new one. So I think we're in a win. Win. But mark my words, I will never talk about a stroller again on here or. I probably didn't talk about it to you much.
Kat
What? I was with you in downtown Breakland on Saturday, and every time you saw a stroller, you were like, there's. Check out that stroller.
Listener (Voicemail)
What?
Kat
Kindness. There's that same stroller. We saw, like, three different ones. And I said, if we see a fourth one, then that's the. That's a sign that that's the brand you. You need. And it was the brand you had.
Amy
Yeah, it was.
Kat
And we saw a fourth one. We did, like, right after I said that. So it's obviously a popular one. Yeah.
Amy
So, yeah, you got a little taste of that. Imagine being with me for a whole day. Wouldn't that be fun?
Kat
If you decide you don't like it, you could sell it on Facebook. Marketplace.
Amy
Well, that's going to be my plan.
Kat
But imagine the germs just.
Amy
Okay. When I heard that, it made sense. Just like the Vendy straws. Now that I'm talking about it, I'm like, maybe this is just a scam. So you can't return a stroller.
Kat
Yeah. Or like a crib. Can you not return a crib? I have no idea. I don't know. I've never bought baby things. I have car seat.
Amy
Well. And. Well, I don't think so because. Well, not the car seat. We're, I think, like the same brand. Maybe that's what it is.
Kat
More safety. Not germs, but whatever.
Amy
The lady at the store. But. Okay. Shannon said it was safety. Well, germs are part of safety.
Kat
That's okay. It's okay. Bendy straws. Germs.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
It's fine. We see things, we think things, we believe things.
Amy
I also have a warning for people. You're looking at me scared.
Kat
Well, because. What's the warning?
Amy
Well, so we started a new show called Widows Bay, or Widows. I think it's Widow's Bay. I wanted to say Widow's peak, but that's the hairline. It's the same guy from the Beast in Me. You liked that show?
Kat
Oh, yes, yes, yes. With Claire Danes.
Amy
Yes, yes, yes. That creepy guy. He's in this show, too. And so we started this show. It's coming out week by week, so you can't binge it, which is, like, kind of a bummer. Also, I kind of like it because you have something to look forward to. The first episode. I'm not giving Anything away. Don't worry. The first episode is not scary. It's. It's almost like you don't know if it's going to be a little like cheesy or scary. As it keeps going, can confirm it is terrifying. So if anybody does not like scary movies or scary shows or doesn't like watching these things by themselves, watch with caution. However it is good.
Kat
Okay. So something to look forward to.
Amy
Well, yeah, if you like. Yes. But if you like it. But just know that it is. I've had nightmares and I had to close my eyes a lot. Wouldn't watch it alone.
Kat
Okay. So watch with caution or with someone.
Amy
Yeah. Can you watch a scary movie?
Kat
It's not my favorite.
Listener (Voicemail)
Okay.
Kat
It's not my favorite.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
But it just depends on the overall.
Amy
You could do like a thriller. You could do Beast. Any by yourself.
Kat
Yeah, yeah. Which I do.
Amy
That's a little scary.
Kat
I guess it depends on how we define scary. Yeah.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
I have a question that. That doesn't come up.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
I'm just curious if there's anything you're loving right now and I can go first if you want to think about it because I have something that I am loving right now. That's just really random.
Amy
Well, I think you want to go first, so I want to hear this.
Kat
Well, I don't have to go first. Go first. Green peas. If you were to say, Amy, what are you loving right now? I would say green peas. For frozen green peas.
Amy
Is this because Courtney Cook?
Kat
No. What'd she do?
Amy
I saw her cook dinner and she made green peas.
Kat
No, this isn't because of Courtney Cook. I saw a thing just like I felt. I saw a video projecting future telling fortune. Like they don't know for sure, but they were like green peas are the next cottage cheese. Why? Because they are higher in protein than any other vegetable. They're also high in fiber and they're very filling and they fill out a meal. Well, here's the thing. I have a 15 year old son and he loves things that are green. He loves lettuce, he loves avocado. He loves green anything broccoli. Broccoli. He'll eat anything green. He'll go and open up the lettuce box in the refrigerator and just eat lettuce out like a rabbit. I know it's interesting for sure. Especially for a teenager. And he likes the. The peas. So I've been using peas as a filler. That's how I got onto it. Not only did I see that video projecting that they're the new.
Amy
Yeah. We're not making like no green pea pancakes and green pea.
Kat
Probably not.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
So it's not exactly the new. But whatever marketing team cottage cheese has, they're like, if green peas could get that marketing, they would be up there.
Amy
Huh. Because what are you putting them in? I don't like a pee.
Kat
I love a pee.
Amy
I'll eat a pea in a pot pie because it's just like in there. But I'm not eating a spoonful.
Kat
I love a piano pot pie. No, no. I'm. I'm adding them to things. So I'm adding them to.
Amy
Don't say smoothie.
Kat
Ground beef with rice. Oh, that could add the peas. A chicken curry. Chicken with rice and peas. So I am stretching out meals with the peas.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
And it's helping because my son is eating so much that if I add a bag of frozen peas to the pound of ground meat and then thing full of rice, I've stretched the meal out and it's high. It's. It's got protein, it has fiber. So it has other. It's not just this filler. Filler. Like it actually is doing something. I think also they contain polyphenols, which provide protective health benefits rich in antioxidants. Who knew green peas just need new marketing. If green peas had better marketing.
Amy
Peas are. That's like the one food that children hate. Like I feel like peas have. They're universally hated vegetable.
Kat
It's such a nice little surprise. Like when you bite.
Amy
I like a pee when you can't taste it.
Kat
What I think the taste. It's like a sweet little.
Amy
But pee is what I was going
Kat

Healthcare just got less painful.
Amy
That made me think of when you were talking about, you have a teenager and he, like, eats a lot. A lot. I saw this thing. It's like quick little meme on Instagram that said, imagine what would be different with girls growing up if we looked at them and said, they're just a growing girl. Just like we look at boys and say, he's just a growing boy. It's a lot, but it's like, imagine how we'd feel, like, better, like, feeding ourselves and eating the peas if we wanted to eat peas. So just food for thought of how we, you know, talk about the differences between girls and boys because they're.
Kat
They're all. They're both growing.
Amy
We're both. We're both growing.
Kat
But with girls, it's more like, are you sure you're gonna eat more of them? Yeah.
Amy
And they're going through puberty, too. It's more like, oh, she's going through puberty. You know, she's.
Kat
She won't stop eating. Shannon found some fun and vibrant recipes with green peas. Okay. Creamy pea pesto, Fresh spring pasta with burrata, Pea hummus with mint.
Amy
No, she puts savory pea pancakes. No, we're not. We are not.
Kat
No, they're doing savory. They're savory. I feel like that. I feel like that could be an appetizer as a. At a restaurant or like the. The.
Amy
Like a delicacy, but not like, not a delicacy.
Kat
It could be a pancake. Like, not that you just eat by itself, but sort of like a tortilla that you put food on top of. Like, you could put meat on top of your savory pea pancake. Like that sounds.
Amy
But we're not doing elevated pea pancake instead of just eating pancakes.
Kat
Says savory.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Kat
But I do love a salty sweet. So a savory pea pancake with some maple syrup on top might be nice. All of these recipes use frozen peas to add instant sweetness and bright color to meals.
Amy
I think you should get on the P. PR Team.
Kat
P Marketing. Yeah, they should hire you green pea growers. Well, that's what I'm loving right now. What are you loving right now?
Amy
Okay, I'm gonna do two things, because when you first asked me, for some reason, I couldn't get my brain off of a food, and I actually have been eating something that I used to eat all the time. Do you ever just snack on frozen mango?
Kat
No.
Amy
Are you open to it?
Kat
Seems a little like my sensitive teeth.
Amy
Oh, okay.
Kat
I don't know. That feels the.
Amy
If you get frozen, you can at Trader Joe's. You can buy a bag of frozen mango. Mangoes are expensive and they're hard to cut, so that's.
Kat
Frozen mango is where it's at.
Amy
They're already chopped up in little cubes. So you take the frozen mango, you put it in a serving of it, or however much you want in a little bowl. You wait like, five, ten minutes, let it thaw a little bit, and then you eat it. And it's almost like a popsicle. Or like mini. Like, sorbet bites.
Kat
Oh, okay. I could get down with that.
Amy
So good. And I've been craving a lot of fruit lately.
Kat
Ooh, throw some green peas in there. Some frozen green peas. I'm just kidding.
Amy
Okay. And then the other thing I've been loving. This kind of matches with your aura ring. I don't know if you've noticed that I've been wearing a watch the last two weeks.
Kat
I have.
Amy
Why haven't you asked me about my new watch?
Kat
You're right. I almost said something about it on Saturday when we were in Franklin, because
Amy
I've never worn a watch before.
Kat
I got distracted by. I don't know what. Probably a stroller.
Amy
I know why you. You got distracted by a caramel apple because you have never eaten a caramel apple before.
Kat
No. I mean, not that I can't remember. I've never bought one or ordered one. Like, as an adult. I don't know if I tried one as a kid. It's just never been my thing.
Amy
Well, I don't think it's my thing, but it's like, an American thing.
Kat
Yeah, no.
Amy
People were shocked that you had never eaten a caramel apple before. Anyway, I've been wearing my watch every day, so. Yeah, you saw it on Saturday. You probably saw it last week. And it counts my Steps.
Kat
Oh, okay. Are you sure that that's.
Amy
It's probably not accurate.
Kat
Is that healthy for you?
Amy
Well, I have been my job. I sit down all the time. And I also don't like, you know, how your phone tracks your steps. I don't like, you don't carry my phone.
Kat
And so you're missing out on valuable steps when you get up to go to the bathroom or something.
Amy
Well, I more so was like, at the end of the day, I'd look and I'm like, I have 500 steps. And I'm like, well, that's not healthy because I'm sitting for five hours. I can't walk when I'm working. And so I wanted to know, like, accurately, like, how much am I really walking and moving? Because when I get home from work, I've also been, you know, pregnancy. I'll give myself a lot of grace for the first. Why are you laughing?
Kat
I just. Well, I was curious. You want to know why I'm laughing? Okay, here's my brain. While you're talking, I'm like, oh, I wonder what is the brand? Oh, should you put that in the next newsletter as like the item that you're obsessed with at the moment? And then I was like picturing you having your cute little watch, like, tap here if you want to get one. And then over it's like, what is under my picture? And it's green bees. So then I was like, okay, you
Amy
want me to link piece?
Kat
I probably think I probably need to find something else that I would link. But what brand is it? Because it's. I've never seen it.
Amy
So I found this from a friend who saw an influencer post about it. My friend was like, she swears by this watch. And I'm like, she probably doesn't wear that watch because if she posts an aura ring, less people are going to buy that than if she posts this 27 watch. So I was skeptical.
Kat
It was only 27.
Amy
27. It's like, nice looking. It's time, year time year, time, year.
Kat

It was 27. So I was like, if it's. If it doesn't work, whatever. I've loved having like the time on my hand though. And like it has the day of the week and the date and it has. I can set an alarm. It's like I've never had a watch before.
Kat
I'm like, how old do we sound?
Amy
I'm like, guys, this is the most riveting episode.
Kat
Green peas. And have you ever worn a watch
Amy
okay, you asked what.
Kat
I'm loving this, but it is really cute. It is like. It's like a gold. It's different. It's not one you see every day for $27.
Amy
Well, and like, I used to have. I did have a watch at one point. I had an apple watch back in the day and I had like a Garmin. I use those when I would run to, like, track my distance and, like, my pace and stuff. But I don't want to know all of that. Like, I just want to know, like, am I, like, getting around. I want to be like seven to 8,000 steps a day. I'm fine with. I was getting like 500.
Kat
You know, obviously the standard that we've heard forever is like 10,000, blah, blah. But that not totally necessary. Although it's a good goal to have, I think, if you're able. But I wouldn't. I used to beat myself up about it if I didn't make it to 10, but now I at least try to make it to 4,000 because I saw, like, for our mental health, 4,000 is the goal for your brain. So I'm like, okay, I'd rather approach this for brain health than.
Amy
Right.
Kat
And then as long as I'm between 4 and 10, I feel good about it.
Amy
Well, and like the other day, like I said, I was like, first trimester, I was on the couch all day long. I'm allowed to do that. But then I got in this habit of, like, getting home from work and just sitting on the couch, and it's so nice out. And when I looked at my watch and I was like, you've had 1600 steps and it's 3 o' clock in the afternoon. It was so motivating to get me to go outside.
Kat
Right.
Amy
You know, not even because I'm like, I have to burn these calories. It was like, I probably need some fresh air. Like, it's really nice and it's fashionable.
Kat
So. Yeah. So shout out to the love influencer that your friends haul.
Amy
Yeah. And it made me think of how you were, like, six months ago. We talked about this. Like, do influencers really use the stuff that they sell? I did think about that when she told me, but then, honestly, I'm like, well, if it's a good wreck, I don't really care if she really uses it. Yeah, she probably has a nicer watch.
Kat
But if that's when you can throw on or you really like it, then yeah.
Amy
And if I break it, if something
Kat
happens to it, you're not worried about It.
Amy
I'll lose it eventually.
Kat
Like, yeah, money ain't a thing.
Amy
$27.
Kat
So people really resonated with your glasses story from last week.
Amy
Like, which made me feel so seen.
Kat
I was bumping on social media, like, tons of shares. Sorry, I eat green peas now. I bump in. I mean, popping. It was popping off.
Amy
Popping.
Kat
It was popping off. That's. That's what the kids say. No, it was popping off. It got shared like, what, like a thousand times or something? Or almost.
Amy
Last time I checked, it was around 800, but, like, let's shoot for a thousand.
Kat
Okay, let's see where it is now. Okay, I'll look it up. Because it's been a couple days since
Amy
I. Yours popped off, too?
Kat
Well, yeah, but when something gets shared. Yes, mine might have more views of my parents doing it, but I don't know if people. I think people are just like, oh, that's so many people. I mean, there were people in the comments. They're like, oh, my gosh, that happened to me. Too scarred for life. Which. We have a voicemail coming up. We'll play probably. I think towards the end of the show, we have a funny voicemail that we got from a listener regarding that. But I think with yours, people were resonating like, this is me anxiety as a kid, or I would sleep with my glasses and. Okay, let's see. Let's go to the shares. Is it popping? Is it 917?
Amy
Oh, my goodness.
Kat
Yeah.
Amy
Okay, so it's still going.
Kat
Mm, yeah.
Amy
Who knew?
Kat
Social media, it's weird how it works because you would think, like, that many shares anyway, that would be videos. I don't know what makes something viral. You never know.
Amy
I think sometimes it's random.
Kat
It's totally random. We know that for us, if we talk about giving cussing, giving people permission to cuss for their mental health, that worked really well.
Amy
Well, and because remember. Not remember, but you posted that same video to Tick Tock. And I looked and it had like a thousand views.
Kat
Well, Instagram loved it.
Amy
Yes. Well, it's just weird how that works. Like, one can pop off and the other.
Kat
It's two different worlds. Kane Brown was talking about how he's got Instagram or meta. Like, meta things like Facebook and Instagram down. He's got those on lock. He said, as an artist, he cannot pop off on Tick Tock, which you would think. And he's like, he's really famous. Yeah, he. He is. I interviewed him at I Heart Country Festival, and that's one of the things he said that his team just had this whole meeting about how he can't freaking figure out Tick Tock. And it's not for lack of trying. Yeah, like, he's like, out there trying to figure it out, and he's just like, I don't know. He's like, I feel like if you're already established, Tick Tock is great for new people getting exposure.
Amy
Okay, well, we're not established yet.
Kat
But for him, like, as an artist, like, he's got so many popular things going on, he would think it would happen for him. But it was interesting to hear someone with a lot of success talk about how they're struggling with certain.
Amy
Well, thanks, Brown. That makes us feel better.
Kat
Oh, well. So we did. I. We got an email that I wanted to share. Okay. And shout out to Angie, who listens from Georgia, and she's 61.
Amy
All right.
Kat
Angie. Hey, Amy and Kat. I've been listening to y' all since before feeling things and just love your conversations and friendship. Now that I'm thinking she's 61, she probably loves our watching P. Talk the right demographic. Angie, shout out Greenpeace. After listening this week, I just wanted to let Kat know that she wasn't the only one who was so fearful as a child. I was always worried I was going to get kidnapped, too. I had a lot of irrational fears, and I'm so glad I finally outgrew them. Congratulations on your pregnancy. Have the day you need to have.
Amy
Thanks, Angie. I was reading a lot of those comments, and honestly, I felt like, because that nobody's ever. I've told that story to a million people. Nobody's ever been like, me, too. They're just kind of how you were. Like, I feel so bad for you. A lot of the people were saying, like, what they did, and Elizabeth Fazio wrote on there that she would do that because she was afraid of a zombie apocalypse. And so now I'm like, I have to rethink my outgrowing this fear. I should be wearing my glass. Like, what do I do if something happens? I wear contacts. You don't wear contacts.
Kat
No.
Amy
What happens if there's like, I don't know. Let's. Okay. Zombie apocalypse probably is not gonna happen, but the world, I mean, some crazy stuff could happen. And we could be like, what happened in Bird Box, that movie?
Kat
Well, they couldn't see anyways, so you'd be fine.
Amy
They couldn't.
Listener (Voicemail)
Yeah.
Kat
Okay.
Listener (Voicemail)
Okay.
Amy
You're right. But I was just thinking, like, if we get, like, stranded somewhere or something like that, like, you can only wear contacts for so long. You can't sleep in them. Like my eyes get. I have to take my contacts out.
Kat
We'll just have a go bag like you need. Like a go bag with multiple glasses. With glasses. Other necessities. Yeah, that's what they call it in the military if they have to deploy quickly somewhere. Like when I was married to Ben and he was in the Air force with his particular line of work, he had a go bag ready at all times.
Amy
What do people. This is. You might not know the answer, but you might. Because of that, if you're in the military and you wear glasses or contacts, do you carry. Can you wear glasses?
Kat
I don't know. Ben couldn't have any vision problems as a pilot. In fact.
Amy
Wait, you have to have. No, you can't wear contacts and be in the army.
Kat
I don't know.
Amy
Well, Ben, he was maybe different.
Kat
I don't know. His stuff was different. I just know he was always like trying to. He's always nervous. Anytime he had to go to the eye doctor, he. He had to do physicals.
Amy
And he doesn't wear contacts or glasses. I guess you could get lazy.
Kat
He does now. He has like reading glasses, but they're not. It's only if he's on the computer.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
But I don't know if to fly an airplane he needs the glasses because he can.
Amy
Well, that makes sense that you wouldn't be able to wear contacts and be in like Special Forces or something like that. I've never thought about that.
Kat
I'm not. Okay. Okay. Shannon said yes, you can wear contact lenses in the army, but not during basic combat training or field deployment environments. While allowed on normal duty, they must be clear. Oh, so you can't. You can't wear colored contacts.
Amy
I had purple contacts in high school. Yeah.
Kat
So what about Sheen and will you look up for pilots? Because now I'm curious. Like Air Force pilots, if they can. I just remember Ben always being like, I nervous to go to his. And then he. He would end up doing fine, but he would be nervous anytime cuz he had to do these eye drops. Well, I'm probably saying too much now. I don't want to get him into. He's out now, but his best friend was a doctor and he got these eye drops. But he never wanted to be on his record that he used the eye drops.
Listener (Voicemail)
Huh.
Kat
So his friend would just be like, here's some samples.
Amy
I. I guess you could get LASIK eye surgery. Honestly, the government should pay for that.
Kat
It says to Wear contacts while flying. You must be enrolled in the Air Force's contact lens program. Okay, so I guess you can. I don't really know. Ben did not.
Amy
It's just something to think about.
Kat
Avoided it at all costs like he didn't want to ever have. How Ben liked to be at his job was under the radar. He wanted no asterisks next to his name.
Amy
I didn't want to be special.
Kat
He didn't want to be special. He wanted to be noticed.
Amy
He didn't want awards.
Kat
He did, and he did win awards.
Amy
He didn't want. Oh, he didn't want that.
Kat
He actually excel. Like, he was always top of his unit. Like, people highly revered him. Is that. Oh, does that sound military?
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
You know, with our daughter, he has a. A medal that he got from one of the wars. Not a purple heart because he's never been shot at or in combat or anything, but he has a. A bronze star maybe or something. And you can put that on your license plate. Now. He would never for himself. He doesn't want that kind of attention. But when our daughter started driving, he put it on her car.
Amy
What does she get for that?
Kat
Well, she's black. And his thinking. When we went through adoption training, they said, as white people, you aren't gonna understand what your child may go through of a different race when they're pulled over. And this isn't anything again. I mean, it's just there's stories out there, so you can't be too careful. It's not like we're. I know. I. Law enforcement that respects all races. I'm not pinpointing anything. I guess I just feel weird saying it because I don't want anybody to think I'm calling them out. But obviously we know of circumstances in which people have been treated unfairly, and so we thought for her, it's just like an extra protection that we won't ever understand. But they may see. Oh, Air Force. Oh, a metal. Oh, tell me. And she could say, oh, my dad served in the Air Force. And it's more of a conversation starting starter of like, oh, fellow.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
First responder type. Or, you know, police, military, firefighter. That was like our one thing we could do for her that we won't ever understand as white people. Kat
Who's the guy that was in the family movie with me?
Amy
Tell you the story?
Kat
Oh, you know. Oh, you say it because I know it. Yeah. Sterling K. Brown. I only know this loosely.
Amy
Well, I couldn't remember I talked to you about this, but no, I think
Kat
Bobby talked to me about it. So I never heard it from you.
Amy
So he was on Armchair Expert before Paradise came out the second season. He also was in what is that?
Kat
The Mandy Moore one.
Amy
What is that? This is us. Yes.
Kat
Thanks, Kat.
Amy
This was a really interesting perspective. So Dax Shepard, the host of Armchair, they do not post their kids on social media and I think if they do that, they like put a thing over their face or something. And they were talking about how they raised Dax and Sterling K. Brown were talking about how I feel like I can't call Sterling K. Brown by his first name but I can call Dax by his first name.
Kat
Like I don't even. Sterling.
Amy
Yeah, I didn't feel the need to say Dax Shepard but I felt the need to say Sterling. I'm not on that level with him yet. So he was talking to him about like how they protect their children or how they raise their children being so famous. And Dax was like, well, we hide. We don't like want them to be on the Internet. And then we want them to be able to like go out and be normal people and all that. And then Sterling K. Brown was like, oh, that's so interesting because we do the exact opposite because we want people to know who they are, to protect them because Sterling K. Brown is black, Dax Shepard is white. And it was, it was actually really cool conversation for them to talk about that and to be able to see the other's perspective and for Dax to be like. Because I think a lot of people, this is a judgment of a judgment, but I think a lot of people see People that put their kids on the Internet and are like, you shouldn't do that. But Sterling K. Brown is like, no, we want people to know who our kids are so they have more. Not visibility. So they get things, but so they're protected and they don't get misjudged or hurt or whatever. Wrongly accused of something. And I just thought that was. I mean, it was eye opening for me. I've never had to think about that.
Kat
Yeah. And that's what we learned in the adopted training. Adoption training. If you're going to have a. Adopt a different race. Like, you're not gonna.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
Under. Understand what they may go through. And we were like, oh, well, can't hurt.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
So Ben decided to put that on her license plate.
Amy
And I do recommend. Have you listened to that episode yet? Okay. Even if you don't listen to Armchair Expert, I would listen to that episode because it was very. They. They talk about all kinds of stuff. His life is so interesting. Like, so interesting. And he is the most, like, energetic human who has I've ever heard tell a traumatic story. Like, he has a heart, some hard things in his life, but his attitude is like, you just want to, like, bottle it up.
Kat
Oh, okay. I'll go check it out. And then when you were telling the story again. I know. I heard Bobby and Caitlin told me about it. But then when you were telling it just now, I was like, did we talk about it? I don't know. Like, did we talk? Then I was like, did we talk about it on the podcast? No, I don't know if we did. Sorry, sorry. We can't remember.
Amy
If we can't remember. Maybe you don't remember.
Kat
And then you're just here. Yeah, no big deal. Something that we did talk about last week. We shared the email relating to your fear of being kidnapped. And now we have a voicemail that is talking about keeping a gun under your bed. This is from a listener who. Whose dad has had her around guns her whole life. So it's very different, I think, if you're more comfortable being around guns. And here's what she had to say.
Listener (Voicemail)
Okay, ladies, I'm listening to your show from Spicewood, Texas, and I am feeling protective because I totally agree with the serial killer. My dad has had me around guns my whole life. I've done female defense courses at where our police train and all kinds of stuff. So I feel very comfortable. And I think that that is very big part about having guns. But I too, have a.38 special. Excuse me, a.38 caliber as you were saying? By my bed. And it is in. My dad built something. It's a piece of metal and the holster is welded to it. So if it's in between your box springs and mattress. So it's there, ready to go. And I heard you mention safety. There's no safety on that gun. And that's why it's a great home defense gun, because when you wake up, whatever the case may be, you just pull the trigger. So I highly recommend that. I understand with kids in the house having one of those fingerprint boxes, but I would have it ready to go right on my bedside table. I also carry bear spray. Bear spray shoots a lot farther than mace. Just a suggestion.
Kat
Okay, so that's good to know about the bear spray.
Amy
Yeah, I never.
Kat
Because I think I'm more likely to have bear spray than a.38.
Amy
Well, what's a fingerprint box?
Kat
Oh, well, you. It's locks it. And you. You. Your fingerprint. That way it's safe for kids. Like a gun box that's locked. Okay. But it can only unlock with your fingerprints.
Amy
Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna. I'll keep the bear spray under my bed for sure.
Kat
Yeah, that's right. I. I'm more likely to have the bear spray.
Amy
Yeah. Also because, I mean, I think I said this last week. Last week. Patrick sometimes does weird sleep things so I can see him. You don't want an unlocked gun near him if he's sleepwalking or something. No, we would end up on the
Kat
news, maybe even bear spray. I'm nervous about that now. For you, too.
Amy
That's. We need safety on the bear spray.
Kat
Could he use that as a defense? Like, if something were to happen? Just. Do people get off if they have sleepwalking in their.
Amy
I'm sure that. Well, if he, like, murdered me in my sleep, and he'd be like.
Kat
Yeah, but it was an accident. I don't know. I wonder, because we know he has episodes. Like, for sure. Not like that. But he sleep walk.
Amy
He's never. Well, he's only. Since I've been with him, he's only gotten out of the bed twice. But he does. He'll talk. And sometimes he does interesting movements.
Kat
Right. Okay.
Amy
That's interesting. Yeah. I don't know.
Kat
I don't know either. That was from Lindsay, by the way. And she called back and left another message because she had more to say. And boy, am I glad she called back because this is a really good tip.
Listener (Voicemail)
Okay, I forgot this part. Two cats sleeping in her glasses. When I was a little kid. This is Lindsay from Spicewood that just called. I forgot to put this part on this. I used to sleep when I was a kid with a big stick, and I called it a weenie stick. So if anybody broke in, I'd hit him in the weenie. Hope that serial killers are having the day they need to have I a weenie stick.
Kat
So I could do a weenie stick and bear spray. Yeah, for sure.
Amy
I wonder if it was like, it's actual stick outside, or did you have, like, a baton or something? Like.
Kat
Oh, I was picturing, like, a metal rod.
Amy
I mean, baseball bat.
Kat
Good, Good point. That's interesting. You were maybe picturing a stick outside. I was picturing, like, one of those sticks that police use, like a night stick.
Amy
The baton thing.
Kat
Isn't that called a nightstick? Oh, I don't know.
Amy
Sure.
Kat
It's. I think it's called a baton, too.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
But not like a baton. You would twirl. Did you ever have a baton as a child?
Amy
Well, I. We did because my mom was a majorette in high school. She could troll fire.
Kat
Wow.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
That's awesome.
Amy
Yeah. Yeah. She still has, like, her, like, outfits, and she still has her batons from when she was in high school. We played with them when we were kids. But I could be like, mom, I need your baton to put under my
Kat
bed to be your weenie stick.
Amy
It's made out of metal. It would hurt.
Kat
We got another voicemail about our Chick Fil A protein bar discussion. This is from Toni.
Listener (Voicemail)
Hi, this is Tony, and I am in Lebanon, and I'm 42 years old. And I just wanted to let y' all know that at Chick Fil A, you can order just the chicken filet. It's in the app, and it's $4 and $0.70 if you order just the fried fillet. Just thought y' all might find that interesting. Thank you. And have the day you need to have.
Kat
So, you know, you don't even have to get the bun.
Amy
You don't have to have food waste.
Kat
I wasted the bun the other day. I went. After we talked about it.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
I was craving it, so I went and I tried it, and I just ate the fried filet, and it was like, it was okay. Then I went back a couple days later, and I was with the kids, and I got nuggets, and I was like, this is where it's at. If I'm just gonna eat fried protein meat, I might as well eat the nuggets. Like, to me, it was Better. It was eating the filet felt weird.
Amy
What is the science hack behind doing the filet versus why weren't people just, like, go get chicken nuggets?
Kat
I think they were. It was just more of like, if you're gonna get a protein bar, like, get the filet.
Listener (Voicemail)
Cause it's a bar.
Kat
It's like more like just take a bite out of this instead of a protein bar. And honestly, there might be more protein in the fillet than nuggets. Unless you get a 12 count.
Amy
Maybe.
Kat
I don't know how many nuggets you have to get to equal the chicken fillet. Chicken fillet. But I just thought it was. Meh. I didn't.
Amy
Oh.
Kat
And when I got the nuggets, I was like, okay, this is where it's at. Because the filet, I wanted, like, the bread and.
Amy
And the pickles. I know you don't like the.
Kat
I don't like the pickles. That's fine.
Amy
And you ate it plain? No ketchup.
Kat
No, I dipped it and stuff.
Amy
Okay.
Kat
I dipped it. I dipped my protein bar in stuff. Shannon said that a standard fried chicken filet has around 23 grams, while a 12 count nugget contain a 40. So you're already getting more protein if you get the 12 count.
Amy
Oh, go for the 12 count, guys.
Kat
Let's go. I did see that. If you're a nurse at Chick Fil a, today's the final day, though. Today's the final day of Nurses Week. So I guess Nurses week started last week. And it goes until today when people are listening to this. It's going to be Tuesday the 12th, and that's the final day of Nurses week and the final day. You can get like a free Chick Fil A sandwich or chicken biscuit. Now that's where it's at. The chicken biscuit from Chick Fil A. But you have to have it on the biscuit.
Amy
Would never take the filet off of the biscuit. That's too good and precious of carbs.
Kat
So good. With a little jelly. Do you eat it with jelly? No.
Amy
But get this. This. I eat it plain.
Kat
Okay.
Amy
I don't like jelly. It's not my.
Kat
Okay.
Amy
My husband eats his chicken biscuit with ketchup on it.
Kat
Okay. I.
Amy
Is that not.
Kat
I love ketchup and I don't.
Amy
I love the idea of that on a biscuit.
Kat
Yeah.
Amy
Feels like not correct.
Kat
No, that's. I.
Amy
So I'd rather have jelly than the ketchup.
Kat
Yeah. So if you are a nurse I saw you could go by you just have to show a valid ID that you're a nurse. Here's my hospital identification card.
Amy
So you can't go be like, no, I'm a nurse.
Kat
I'm definitely not a nurse. But fun fact, May 12th is Nurses Day because that's Florence Nightingale's birthday and Florence Nightingale is the founder of modern nursing.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
Or something like that. So shout out to any of our listeners that are nurses. I feel like we probably have a lot. My sister Kim, my half sister Kim, she's a nurse.
Amy
Go get your chick.
Kat
Go get your free chick. Fil a today girl.
Amy
Do you know what? Like Florence Nightingale, like what time period she from? Like when you said that, like what is modern nursing?
Kat
Is she like from 19? Did she. Was she a nurse in like 1930 or 1940? 1820 to 1910. Oh, so modern nursing was. I was thinking it was like around, I don't know, the Great Depression,
Amy
Nurses before that.
Kat
I'm modern nursing.
Amy
What's a modern nurse?
Kat
I don't know. Yeah, so she died in 1910. So she wasn't even alive when the Titanic sank.
Amy
She was 90 years old though. Wow, good for shout out to her.
Kat
I was way late on that. Yeah, well, happy birthday, Florence.
Amy
Wait, when did the Titanic sing?
Kat
1912. You didn't know that?
Amy
How did you know that? I would have said 1920. For some reason,
Kat

Kat
You didn't know that?
Amy
How did you know that? I would have said 1920 for some reason.
Kat
No, 1912. And then the movie Titanic came out in 1997. 1997? Because I saw it Valentine's Day 1998 and it already been out a couple of months.
Amy
Were you on a date?
Kat
I was with and I remember my boyfriend at the time and I know when we dated so I know that's what we went to see.
Amy
Cute.
Kat
Did you see Titanic in theaters or you were too little?
Amy
This is the Thing about that I remember. This is what's weird. I remember being at my friend Katie's house and us being like, we're gonna go see Titanic in theaters, but I would have been eight years old.
Kat
Well, that's okay. I saw Pretty woman at nine.
Amy
You said 1997. Yeah, I was seven years old. There's no.
Kat
But it was still in theaters in 1998. Because I'm saying I went in 1998. I went Valentine's Day in 1998.
Amy
Well, I would have been seven at that time.
Kat
Okay.
Amy
But I can't imagine going, why do I have the memory that I did that? But there's no way I did that. Do you have any of those? Like, I have this distinct memory. Maybe I had a dream, maybe. Maybe I dreamt this happened and now I'm confusing like this dream I had as an adult with like an actual memory as a child.
Kat
I do that with pictures from childhood. Is like, like I. Or videos that I've seen where I think I was there. And then our brain, when we remember something, we remember the latest version of what we remember.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
And so then does our brain then start to think that we were actually there? And that's what it's registering.
Amy
Yeah. This is so meta in my. You know, so I don't think I saw it in theaters, but I might have had a dream that I did.
Kat
I have subtle signs that you're spiraling. Are you spiraling right now?
Amy
My brain, just like, you know when you're like. It's like that meme of all the math equations. That's what just happened to me when you were talking.
Kat
Okay, well, before we go into the subtle signs that you might be spiraling, we can honor Florence Nightingale and all the nurses out there. Okay. She is considered the founder of modern nursing and a pioneer in hospital sanitation. Thank you for that. Florence Nightingale. Evidence based care and statistical analysis and medicine. Her work during the. I don't even know this war, do you?
Amy
No.
Kat
Crimean Crime. Crimin. Crimean War. Established the fundamental principles of infection control. In 1860, she founded the Nightingale Training School for nurses at St. Thomas Hospital in London. Elevating nurses from a non educated domestic role to respectable trained. That's the scientific profession.
Amy
That's the modern.
Kat
Officially, this is a profession, not just a woman taking care. Caring for you.
Amy
I was gonna say as you were reading this, like doing all this in like 1860, women's didn't have a lot of jobs. Jobs or rights or like say. So it's kind of crazy that she was able to do all this. Like it's crazy that people were listening to her even, you know. So there needs to be a movie on her.
Kat
If there's not, maybe there is.
Amy
Surely there is.
Kat
Or at least there's a documentary. Sure, there's a lot.
Amy
I want it to be a. I don't want a documentary on her. I want to watch like a. I want a true story. But it be a movie. Movie.
Kat
Yeah. I'm also thinking of all the nurses. I am Mercy Ships ambassador something. All the nurses aboard the Mercy ships, they're all volunteers. No way. They show up, they get a go aboard, and they are volunteering their time. They're not paid staff, so shout out to nurses. And sometimes when I post about them, I'll get comments from people that are like, oh my gosh, my mom was a nurse on Mercy Ships. Or my mom not even a nurse. Maybe they worked in the cafeteria. And why he's like, oh, small world. Because those ships are far away. They're not in our backyard. No. Yeah, they're like in Sierra Leone or something.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
So all nurses, those that have. Even when I think of my parents when they were in the hospital, like the nurses had some. They had to do some tough stuff.
Amy
And you spend more time with the nurses than you will a doctor ever.
Kat
Yeah. And they really have to care for you on such a deeper level. And then they have to go home to their normal lives after seeing everything that they see every day. So shout out. Subtle signs. You're actually spiraling. This is from Carrie Howard. She's a therapist for anxious overthinkers.
Amy
Cat, I'm gonna relate to everything you say and it's gonna remind me of stroller gate, so.
Kat
Okay, I'll just run through them real quick. Subtle signs you should look out for that might equal you are spiraling. You feel a sense of urgency to figure it out. Right now your thoughts are circling, not solving. You keep looking for reassurance, but it's not sticking. Your body feels tense, restless and on high alert. You're procrastinating, zoning out or avoiding something. You're thinking in absolutes, like always. Never. Worst case, you keep over analyzing and second guessing yourself and you're trying to think your way out instead of feeling what's there. Just subtle. Yeah, subtle signs. Like I think you're good on the zombie apocalypse. Like I don't think you need to wear glasses or worry about.
Amy
I think I can be. I'll always have a pair of glasses in reach. I can grab them. I don't have to keep them on my face.
Kat
Yeah, just your little go bag. But you don't need to worry about it.
Amy
And I'll put the bear spray in the go bag.
Kat
I want the bear spray on my nightstand.
Amy
Well, the go bag will be wherever I am.
Kat
I saw a funny video. Cat. Who's the funny girl on Instagram? Cat Ziegler. Cat. You know, she was rumored to be dating John Mayer for a little bit. She's got brown hair. She's so funny.
Amy
I don't know her.
Kat
Sickler.
Amy
Oh, oh, oh, yeah.
Kat
Cat.
Amy
Stickler.
Kat
Stickler. When I say stickler, she's so funny.
Amy
She has curly hair.
Kat
No, black.
Amy
Oh, okay. I heard you say curly.
Kat
Are you spiraling?
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
So she did a funny video of she's got her cute little purse and how she's like, they say keep mace in your purse in case you get attacked. And then she starts digging through her bag and she pulls out like, her sunglasses and like gum and then like lipstick. And then she's like, hold one second. Like, she's talking to the attacker because she's digging in her bag for the mace. And I'm like, oh, yeah, that's such a good point of like, will we
Amy
even be able to find it?
Kat
Yes, like, we're gonna have the bear spray in our bag. But yeah, I think bear spray would be easier to find because it's like a bigger.
Amy
Surely it's like a can. Okay.
Kat
All right, let's close with a funny voicemail that we got about walking in on your parents just to put a bow on this week's episode and tie it back to last week's as well. We love hearing how y' all relate to stuff that we talk about. This is from Elda from Hutto, Texas. Here it is.
Listener (Voicemail)
Hi there, My name is Elda and I'm calling from Hutto, Texas. I wanted just to call because you all had me cracking up when Amy was sharing her little parents extracurricular activities. Basically. I have that same vision in my head that has been with me since I was 10. But the funny part for me is that I walked up to my parents room and the door was closed, but the door was not locked. Walked in, saw the same thing, same position, unfortunately, and was so shocked that I just turned around and walked away. And I can still see my brother coming towards me, going towards the door as well. And I did not say a word to him. So we share that terrifying sight. Childhood trauma. And we joke about it now, but anyway, it's just, I wanted to Share, because you are not alone. Amy. I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. Love you guys. Love hearing you all. Thank you for all the inspiration and amazing that you both are. I appreciate you all. Thank you. Have a great day. Bye. Bye.
Kat
Thank you. Elda. Yeah, I mean, she didn't even. She didn't even warn her brother.
Amy
Was she shocked, or is she. Like, if I had to see it, you have to see it.
Kat
Like, if I go down, you go down. We're having this memory together, this nightmare. I mean, I would. Maybe it'd be a little bit of both. I think at that age, though, she probably was just like. Like, I don't even know how to tell you what you're about to witness. Like.
Amy
Right. But I don't want to talk about it, so I'm just.
Kat
I'm just gonna keep walking. Like, that's your problem now. Like, I've.
Amy
What time of day was it that both the kids were going to the parents?
Kat
It could be morning. Morning, I would imagine Morning.
Amy
Yeah.
Kat
Or night. I don't know.
Amy
This is something as a parent I really have to figure out now.
Kat
We know. Yeah, we're definitely not alone. And I love how she did it. She was like, thanks for all the inspiration. We're like green peas and.
Amy
And watches. Have you heard of them?
Kat
So thank y' all for the emails. The. We have more regarding these subjects, so that's how we know the glasses and the extracurricular activities resonated with y'. All. So we love hearing from you. You can email us hey there@feelingthingspodcast.com and you can also call us 877-207-2077. You can send in relatable stories. You can send in your own insight, thoughts, a different perspective. You know me from a layman's place. Kat is an actual licensed therapist. Although there's a caveat there. We don't know everything that's going on in your life, so take it with a grain of salt. But still, she's legit. Like, she has letters after her name. What are your letters, by the way?
Amy
Lpc. M. H. Nope. Lpc.
Kat
Lpc. Are you forgetting Spiraling Cat's a licensed therapist? You can do it. Lpc.
Amy
Mhsp.
Kat
Okay. Lpc. Mhsp.
Amy
I just had a dyslexic moment. I was like, is it. Or the H. We got There.
Kat
She's legit though. Trust me. She went to Vanderbilt.
Amy
Trust me, I know what my letters are.
Kat
Well, also, yeah. I mean you're. I've seen, I've seen your office. You're legit. You have actual.
Amy
I have a job. Yeah. Yeah.
Kat
So wherever you are, whatever you're doing today, we hope you have the day
Amy
you need to have. Bye. Bye.
Kat
A complicated wellness routine is something that I just do not have the time for. That's where Sua Organic comes in and saves, saves me every single time. I love their cold pressed juices and wellness shots. I genuinely feel like I did something nutritious for my body without making it a whole production. My go to juices are Ginger Love and Uber Greens. I also love the Turmeric pineapple immunity shot. It is small but mighty. Sooja's powerful cold pressed fruit and vegetable juices and daily wellness shots prove you don't need a wellness retreat to feel like you took one. Just sip and let the superfoods do their thing. No gimmicks, no fads, just organic cold pressed wellness. That works. Because real wellness doesn't come in trends. It comes cold pressed, blended, with benefits and ready when you are. Just keep em in your fridge and grab on the go. Sip it, enjoy it and let Suja do the heavy lifting.
