Amy
I like the heads up chance.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, if you see us say what's up? We'd love to. We'd love to say hi. We love meeting people. Listen to the show. We appreciate that. All right, we are going to try the 12 days of Christmas in a minute, which is a song that we perform every year, but with our own version, and usually it's a train wreck. So we'll do that coming up. That's breaking news. Amy told the ups. Oh, crap. Breaking news. Amy told the UPS guy she loved him.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
Oh, boy. There we have it. Let's go.
Chumba Casino Ad
Wow.
Bobby Bones
Get down to the saucy details.
Lunchbox
It was an awkward moment, for sure, where I had my earbuds in, you know, the AirPods, so you can't see them, and my hair's down. And I was on the phone with my sister as a package is being delivered, and I see him walking up, so I'm like, oh, I'm waiting for something. So I go out and I open the door and I'm grabbing the package, but also, I'm hanging up with my sister, and she's saying bye, and she's like, love you. And I'm like, I love you. And then he looked at me weird, and I was like, no, no, no, my earbuds. I'm on the phone with my sister. But, I mean, I was grateful that I got the package, but I think he was a little caught off guard.
Amy
Good looking dude.
Bobby Bones
That's what I was going to ask. I'm glad you asked. How was his reaction?
Lunchbox
Yeah, the awkward part. Like, extra awkward. Was that. Yeah, he was actually cute.
Bobby Bones
So he came in.
Lunchbox
No, he didn't.
Bobby Bones
I thought we were. I thought it was, like, starting.
Lunchbox
No, not like that at all. But I definitely. I mean, even my cheeks are getting red talking about it now because I was so embarrassed.
Bobby Bones
Do you feel like he warmly received the message? Like, No.
Lunchbox
I mean, I think he knew I was on the phone with my sister.
Abby
So was the package in good shape?
Lunchbox
Yes. Yes, it was. When he comes back, he's talking about the package.
Bobby Bones

Bobby Bones
Incorrect. The moon is not a star.
Amy
Wow.
Bobby Bones
Why would you think the moon is a star? The moon in no way is a star.
Abby
That's the star. That was my guess.
Bobby Bones
The sun. The moon is not a star because it's not burning. Oh, my God.
Abby
You've been Boo.
Bobby Bones
That might go down in our Mount Rushmore of dumb as answers. No offense, buddy. Goodness.
Abby
How is that a dumb answer?
Lunchbox
Because the moon is not a star.
Bobby Bones
In any way whatsoever.
Lunchbox
The sun is so close to it. That's why we get. We get heated by the sun.
Bobby Bones
But a star is a shiny fireball.
Lunchbox
Yeah, we've.
Bobby Bones
We've. Hey, we've landed on the moon, right?
Amy
That's what they say.
Abby
I didn't know a star was a fiery ball.
Amy
Dang it.
Bobby Bones
So the answer is the sun.
Amy
Everyone's got to get. Get it wrong here.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Okay.
Lunchbox
Even the moon, when you're seeing it at night, lit up. It's from the sun.
Bobby Bones
I. I apologize for saying that. Was the dumbest one ever.
Lunchbox
Like, it doesn't look.
Amy
What? What's that?
Bobby Bones
I apologize for saying that. A dumb sant. So the only reason we see the moon.
Lunchbox
Yes. That's why sometimes it's full.
Bobby Bones
What do we call animals that eat only plants? We.
Lunchbox
Herbivores.
Bobby Bones
Is that your answer?
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Say it again.
Lunchbox
Well, I don't say H is silent or not.
Bobby Bones
I need you to say the answer.

Lunchbox
Oh, Black panther.
Bobby Bones
Correct. Abby. Who is the Amazonian superhero who uses a lasso of truth?

Bobby Bones
Incorrect. Oh, not a superhero. I believe he's a paleontologist.

Bobby Bones

Abby
I have no idea.
Lunchbox
I didn't know that one.
Amy
She's from the Amazon.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yeah.
Abby
Who knew? I didn't know she had a lasso lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
What superhero team includes Groot and Rocket Raccoon? What? What superhero team includes Groot and Rocket Raccoon?
Abby
Superhero group has Groot.
Bobby Bones
What superhero team includes Groot and Rocket Raccoon?
Abby
I mean, I have no idea. Groot and Rocket Raccoon. The Muppets.
Amy
Quality.
Abby
Guess I.
Bobby Bones
Quality, Morgan.
Morgan
Guardians of the Galaxy.
Bobby Bones
Guardians of the Galaxy. Yes, that's correct. And you know what? You know who gets three points today on the final game? She comes from zero points to three. It is Amy, everybody. She comes with three hard points. The final game of the year for Amy, that is. What do you want to say to all your people?
Lunchbox
Feels good.
Bobby Bones
Feels good, Mr. Starman. What's up, the moon?
Amy
It's not how I wanted to finish.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Okay, well, that's it. Game's over. Good job, Amy.
Lunchbox
Thank you, Bobby Bones.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
To all of our listeners out there, if you're new, there's somebody on the show that I love and adore, and he works really hard, but he has really interesting perspectives, and sometimes I'm like, we could. There's no way we can put this on the show. And that is Raymundo, who does audio and is our head audio producer. However, he asked me a question, and I was blown away that he would even think that this is a que. I want him to ask it. Like, he. He's gonna ask you guys the question.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Lunchbox
Should we be nervous?
Bobby Bones
It's not something about. He's just like, hey, would it be cool if I did this? And I thought to myself, I do not want to answer this. I would like everybody to hear it at the same time, because maybe I'm wrong.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
The Wild World of Raimundo. Oh, that's a good name for Raymond. Raymond Segments. We'll do that next. It's a very weird question. Raimundo is going to ask it, and I would like to know if you guys think it's okay that he asked this question. I call this the Wild World of Raymundo because he just has very interesting thoughts. Ray, before I spoil it anymore, please walk them through the scenario.
Eddie
Yeah. So I walked up to a Christmas party, and it's people you kind of see every year, every couple years, and it was fun. Everybody's really nice and everything, dressed great, and I noticed one of the ladies had lost a significant amount of weight and I always thought in the past, man, if I work out, I want people to notice. That's why I do it.
Bobby Bones
Pause. Amy, what do you think the question is going to be?
Lunchbox
Oh, have you lost weight?
Bobby Bones
That's what I thought it would be, too.
Lunchbox
How much have you lost?
Bobby Bones
I thought it could be that, too.
Lunchbox
Oh, my gosh. Wait, no, no, no.
Bobby Bones
Don't read. Go.
Lunchbox
No, no.
Eddie
So I was wondering.
Lunchbox
Oh, God.
Eddie
If it's appropriate to ask someone if they took. It was empty.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
That was.
Lunchbox
That was the next thing that popped into my head, and I was like, no way. He said, did you take Ozempic? So.
Bobby Bones
Huh.
Lunchbox
No way.
Bobby Bones
First one I would even say no to, like, hey, did you lose a bunch of weight? If they're not super close to them, I have found. I don't talk about people's bodies. If it's a dude, though, and it's like, he's jacked, I'm a dude. I know what that feels like. If someone's like, dang, dude, you're jacked, I will do that. So I don't want that. I feel okay with. I won't say to a woman, oh, wow, you look great. Just. I. I just won't. But a dude, I'll be like, you look jacked. I would never comment on someone's weight unless it was brought up to me in some way. If it was, then I would say, oh, wow, you also. You do look great. Wow. I'm not gonna ask how they did it, I guess, secondly, I wouldn't. You think in your mind, you think there's a possibility it could be okay to go up? Someone to go, like, dang, lost a lot of weight. You taking Ozempic, like, that was something that ran through your head.
Eddie
Yeah, it's how open the person is. We used to have a girl at our apartment complex who talked about on social media that she was taking Ozemp.
Bobby Bones
But that's not her, though.
Eddie
I know.
Lunchbox
It's different. Everybody's different. And also, like, would you say to her, hey, so do you have type 2 diabetes? And maybe you got on Ozempic? I mean, you don't know? Maybe she did get on Ozempic, but she needed it from the doctor, and she doesn't want to talk about other things that are going on with her?
Bobby Bones
I would bet if she. I would. No. The answer is no. I. It's hilarious. You would, because you're not trying to be mean. You literally thought, can I ask her if she's on Ozempic?
Lunchbox
Yeah, but that's weird.
Abby
What difference does it make? If you're gonna ask him, hey, you've been working out, or, hey, are you on those Epic.
Bobby Bones
You shouldn't ask anything. My point is, I would ask nothing to a woman about her body. I wouldn't be like, hey, you look great. You lost much weight. Hey. Because I don't know, she could be. She could have been sick.
Lunchbox
Yes, that's my point. You wouldn't ask someone if they have some disease.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Amy
So the only way, though, is if it's a dude and he's jacked.
Bobby Bones
And even then, some people can do that. I would. I'll be like, dude, because I want to know, like, what's been the workout? Like, what are you eating? You fasting? Like, what's up? If. Especially if you don't. If you're not close to them, you cannot ask someone of the opposite sex how they lost their weight, because even if it is that, they may be embarrassed to say it.
Lunchbox
Exactly. Or it's personal and sensitive, and I.
Abby
Thought they'd be proud. I mean, I thought that's what they.
Bobby Bones
Work for, to lose weight. Yes. And I would say asking, hey, wow, you look great. Have you lost a lot of weight? That's. That is. I would say, semi not acceptable. But I can understand if you know, the person kind of willing to be like, why you look great. But I don't think it's acceptable to be like, hey, person. I only kind of know you lost much weight. Is it because you're taking a shot? Oz. Epic. You doing the shot. Come on. Because that's really not celebrated. Because that's not really the reason that it exists.
Abby
Okay, so what if they got a nose job? Are you allowed to say, oh, you.
Bobby Bones
Got a new nose for the same reason?
Amy
Oh, I would never say.
Bobby Bones
If they were to bring it up and say, yeah, I had surgery on my nose. Then you all day, every day.
Abby
Okay. That you knew, and she had a hump in her nose. And then you see her six months later, and there's no hump.
Bobby Bones
I mean, it's a hump. No, never do that.
Lunchbox
Never. Yeah, it's very different.
Amy
So did he ask her?
Bobby Bones
Well, Raymundo, how did you end up handling this multiple times?
Eddie
I told them that they looked great, and then I also said, we'd love to have you over at our house. She's also friends with my wife, and I imagine the conversation will turn to. Are you on Ozempic?
Bobby Bones
So you're waiting to ask that once you get closer to this person. Yeah. Okay, let Us know.
Amy
But it's also weird, too, that you told her she looked great a couple times and then invited her to the house.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Like, you can just say it once.
Bobby Bones
You know that. Absolutely. You know, and I don't even mind. Again, I'll say this, I don't even mind a you look great if it's somebody and it's in passing. But I wouldn't say you look great because you lost a lot of weight or because the hump is out of your nose. Right.
Lunchbox
Because there's other ways to not make it about the body. Like, you look great. Could be, like, overall, in general. Like, you're glowing. Like, there's something about you. Like, your energy is good.
Bobby Bones
You look great. Looks like you talked about 40. Like, you don't want to. You don't want to do that.
Lunchbox
No.
Bobby Bones
And I would say.
Lunchbox
And you nailed it with you. Because you don't know you're. If you're not close to them, you don't know. And to lunch, like this point of, like, don't people want to hear that if they've lost weight? Maybe. But you don't know what they did to get there. And it could be adding fuel to the fire. Like, if it is an eating disorder or something, they might be like, oh, okay, I'm getting attention now. It's working. And then they continue the behavior.
Abby
Oh, Amy had to go sad.
Bobby Bones
No, no, it's not sad.
Lunchbox
That's reality.
Bobby Bones
And I would think too, that just a unit. You look great's fine. It's just, you can't go into details.
Lunchbox
Right?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Or else, like, you look great. Brazilian butt lift.
Amy
And then one, you look great. Isn't it?
Abby
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And then not followed by, you want to come over, but no to the O question. If it does come up, just let us, let us know. Because we're curious about the wild world of Raymundo.
Eddie
Noted.
Bobby Bones
Noted. Is we noted that you noted it. Okay, Ray, thank you, buddy.
Eddie
Yep.
Bobby Bones
Also, I'm not like, so, like, sensitive. Like, you can't say this to people that. To people generally, hey, you look great. That's awesome. But you just don't need to be specific about the weight thing because you don't know why. And if it's brought up like, hey, yeah, I lost some weight, great, then you. You're. You've then been given a slight crack in the door to walk into that door a little bit. I just wouldn't go as epic on the first meeting and then invite her home. Alright.

Amy
Bobby Bone Come on.
Bobby Bones
Here's a voicemail from Holly in St. Petersburg, Florida. I just want to say thanks to Ray. I was listening to him on the Best Bits talking about going to Vegas and playing the slots. I decided to go to our local casino. I hit $5,000 on the third spin, so thanks Ray. Let's go buddy.
Eddie
Yeah, I don't even play the slots. My wife does. I went to Vegas and did not play one slot machine or one blackjack table. I hate those games.
Bobby Bones
I think mostly it was probably she confused just going to Vegas and then she just got to Vegas and played slots and gave you credit because she was in Vegas.
Abby
Hey yo.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah. You don't talk about slots I guess, huh? I don't ever do your wife one though. She did that so that could have been. It was talked about that a couple times.
Amy
Big time.
Morgan
Yeah, that's what he was talking about. His wife had one and she plays all the time so I bet she heard oh his Wife has won a bunch on this, so I'm gonna go play it.
Bobby Bones
Got it. I need to say to Ray to I thank you. We should all thank Ray for something. Ray. Of every single sock that we've ever even like, dibble dabbled about. And what. When Ray came after Covid and said, hey, buy Royal Caribbean, I know nothing about stock, dude. It has made me the most money.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Because I bought on my own Nvidia as well, just so I could watch it as we did the Royal Caribbean, percentage wise. Even more. It is percentage.
Abby
Is it at. Don't insult my Nvidia.
Bobby Bones
Anyway, when I bought it, it was at a share. $35. It's at $240 now.
Lunchbox
Wow.
Bobby Bones
So it doesn't matter how much you bought, because I'm looking at Nvidia, where we bought and where it is now. That Royal Caribbean is the absolute best stock tip that's ever been given the history of this show.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah. I just. My buddy lives there and he said people are still going on cruises during COVID And so I started thinking. He said he put a ton into it. And he said everything else is closing down except for cruise ships because they're able to quarantine.
Bobby Bones
Nvidia's cost whenever we bought it was $106 a share. It's at 134 now. So that's still per share. A nice little jump there, right? Royal Caribbean, like I said was because again, this is after Covid when they shut the boats down. I was getting sick on boats. What was $35 and now it is 240.
Amy
That's.
Bobby Bones
Dude, that's crazy. I wish I would have bought more. I didn't buy them.
Eddie
I mean, good thing I didn't tell you. Hawk to a coin.
Bobby Bones
Good thing. Probably wouldn't have jumped in on that one, though. But I think Ray, stock guy.
Abby
Nah, we're up 35, 36%.
Chumba Casino Ad
Man.
Abby
We are killing it.
Bobby Bones
That's great.
Lunchbox
They said we're. We're up, but this is just up, up.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. On. On the total on this one, ray. We're up 95%. Yeah, there's 95. Bigger than 35.
Eddie
I mean, that's like IBM in the 80s, you know, one of those investment type things.
Bobby Bones
Hold on. I was wrong. We're up 371.
Amy
Whoa.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Amy
That's really good.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I had to go to overall max because you can do max year to date. Three month. One month.
Amy
Okay, sorry. I laughed about that, Ray from one.
Bobby Bones
Me too. Because I. I only Bought it to like be like haha, bought it. And now all the, all the boats are gone. Yeah, dude, it's up 371.
Lunchbox
So what did we learn from this?
Amy
I don't.
Bobby Bones
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I just, I just wanted to. I said I was thinking Ray. I want to thank Ray for that.
Eddie
It means shows. Going on a cruise.
Bobby Bones
No, because I didn't buy that much. I think I have like. I think I've made like out a couple, almost $2,000. But I didn't buy that many. But I didn't put that much in so. You're the man, Ray. Thanks buddy.
Eddie
You really don't have a stock person you just go by?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, none. I don't have any stocks.
Eddie
That blows my mind.
Bobby Bones
Not, not a stock guy, I'm sure. I have like a. I have a financial. I have a business manager and a couple like financial people that do stuff. I don't buy stocks because that's to me that's very gambly or it's somebody. I need somebody to be dialed in and to know. Sit sale. It's too risky. I risk all the time. You know what I do? I do the work. I put my money in very secure things. Lots of property, a restaurant. That's the one thing that's stupid. We're. When we're not even yet, but it's doing well. That's probably the one stupid thing I did other than if I'm just like gambling.
Eddie
Because if you do have money sitting around, there is money to be made in the stock market, but it's not the buying and selling day to day. It's where you would buy premium. So you always have to get 100 shares of a stock and then you get.
Bobby Bones
Oh boy, here we go. We got advice. I can't take the advice because I didn't. But no, I don't. I have no real knowledge in stocks. I did not have a stock person. I do have a couple people that manage my money and. But we do. My preference is not stocks because it's so volatile.
Eddie
It really isn't though. I know a guy that used to work here. I mean he was making hand over fist money.
Bobby Bones
And you know what? I'll just accept that for what it is.
Amy
Who is this guy?
Eddie
Overnight guy.
Bobby Bones
An overnight guy was making so much money. Oh, hand over fist. What does hand over fist mean?
Eddie
He just understood the market. He said that somebody, somebody taught him.
Bobby Bones
There are multi millionaires that have done this their whole life. That will also go. I don't we don't understand the market, but they are.
Eddie
They're the ones that are making the money. The people that don't understand it don't understand that they're not making money.
Bobby Bones
That's a good point there. And I don't understand what he's saying, so maybe I don't understand anything.
Eddie
He was making significant money, and I do remember him bringing up Nvidia. And I just hope he held on to it because he's probably got a mansion right now, but I haven't seen him in months.
Bobby Bones
If he's doing overnights here. Right? Like, that's not. That's not.
Amy
No. He was bones anymore. He's building the man.
Bobby Bones
I'm just gonna accept it.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I'm just gonna accept it.
Bobby Bones
I'm just gonna accept it.
Lunchbox
The stock market is definitely volatile.
Bobby Bones
Absolutely. Which is why. No. But I think the smartest people in the world have lost their. Their. Their butts and have also made a bunch of money. Right. But I think with stocks, you don't know. You bet. You basically bet based on the information that you have.
Eddie
The earnings reports, quarters.
Bobby Bones
That's information that you have that's given. Right. Or you invest in a certain stock because what you feel like is the next earnings report or quarter will be great anyway. I don't do it because I don't. There's no way an overnight guy here left because he was buying stocks and got out of here.
Amy
And he's building his mansion because it's.
Bobby Bones
Not like he's going to have enough money to buy enough stock to change his whole life, or he wouldn't be working overnights here.
Eddie
Well, he was working overnights as a revenue stream. This was one of many things he did. He's got places in Gatlinburg. He did scooters. He would go pick him up and.
Bobby Bones
If some and charge them at the station again. And there's nothing. And I love it. I think 12 hustles. But my point is, if he's making millions in stock, he's not having to do those other jobs. He's probably doing other. It doesn't matter. Me. Stop, stop, stop. Me. Okay. Sometimes I need.
Abby
I mean, my geography teacher in high school made millions of dollars on the stock market.
Bobby Bones
That's right. Because they had Dell early.
Abby
She bought Dell. That's right.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Abby
She was.
Bobby Bones
That's like a local company that you bought early and blew up. Yeah, but that's not monitoring the market and trading daily.
Abby
Shout out, Ms. Burghardt.
Bobby Bones
Hopefully you're still around, but Ray, thank you, buddy, for the help. Royal Caribbean crushed it.
Eddie
Good.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Thank you. That's why Ray gets involved in all this stuff, because he believes all of that. You get involved in a lot of this stuff.
Eddie
I just have friends. I have friends in watch industry. I have friends who make cameras. I have friends that work on cruises. I just have friends that do a lot of different type stuff and that at times involves stock markets and investors.
Bobby Bones
They're all rich.
Eddie
I mean, significant. The guy that works in Fort Lauderdale, I think he works at Costco. But yes, a majority of.
Amy
Who are these people? He's talking about friends.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, No, I hear Ray, thank you.
Abby
Boy, Billy, is he in the stock market?
Eddie
He was in crypto and he said he threw the password away and he ain't looking for 10 years. And I was like, billy, heads up. You might want to find the password. I think it's blowing up. That's.
Bobby Bones
Bobby, don't do it. Okay? Don't chase it, Bobby. Don't chase it. You're gonna end up like what's her name? Rand in the cave all of a sudden. Alice in Wonderland. Who made up like Alice in Wonderland back in Ray's little world of Wonderland, everything is twisted and upside down and. Okay, next up, Ray, give me Joe in Indiana.
Raymundo
I was recently down in Georgia actually.
Bobby Bones
Last weekend for a hunting trip. And you guys have been talking about the drone, so on and so forth. But anyways, that being said, where I was in that specific part of Georgia, we've seen well over a dozen to 18 drones flying at night. They are big, it is crazy to see. And they're definitely out there. Okay, thank you very much for that.
Amy
It's like you're bringing evidence to us.
Bobby Bones
I'm not.
Amy
Thank you, Joe.
Bobby Bones
I did not choose these. I am only playing them back in order because it's the last day of the show. Number three. Ray, I just need some clarification about Lunchbox's car is.
Amy
It's sitting on the curb, not moving.
Bobby Bones
Just like he complained about his other neighbors truck that was sitting in front of his house that he went and asked him to move because it seems like he's doing the same thing. Q. Now an A. Oh, yeah.
Abby
A. It is sitting in front of my house. That's my house. Like it's not in front of someone else's house though. Problem I have with the neighbors is theirs was in front of my house. So my parking situation was screwed up because I didn't have anywhere to park. It had vines growing through the tires.
Bobby Bones
Like I Mean vines are the tires. They got to move that piece of crap. Right.
Abby
That's what I'm saying. Like if it was in front of their house, I don't give a crap because I don't park in front of their house. We have street parking.
Bobby Bones
That car been there so long as regularly filled for a lunchbox's house.
Abby
Yeah, it was so annoying. So yes, that was the problem. It is a totally different scenario. And make sure you turn. I like the way you use your blinker though.
Amy
Maybe hazards she pulled over to call.
Bobby Bones
Maybe it was hazard she was calling while driving so she turned them on. Next up.
Amy
Hey, good morning, studio.
Bobby Bones
Merry Christmas and happy New Year. It is a beautiful day in Omaha, Nebraska. I went out for a walk to enjoy the weather.
Morgan
Turned on the gift exchange episode. And I just want to let you.
Bobby Bones
Guys know you did not disappoint. That was so funny. The Macy's gift cards were an interesting wrinkle, as Bobby would say.
Amy
And I was that girl who was.
Bobby Bones
Walking alone, laughing out loud. You guys are awesome. I do consider you some of my closest friends. Friends.
Amy
And I will see you in the new year.
Bobby Bones
Thank you very much. I got emit. Ray has my. You have my gloves, right? You take them? Yeah.
Amy
What are you talking. You gave your gloves away?
Bobby Bones
I traded them for chocolates.
Amy
It's messed up, dude. That's what you.
Bobby Bones
I turned it into white elephant. You guys didn't know, but I did my own secondary game.
Amy
If I knew you wanted chocolates, I would have just got you a bunch of chocolates.
Bobby Bones
Think about this. You're at a store and you go, which would Bobby rather have? A box of chocolates or a pair of isotone or gloves? What do you think?
Amy
You think I thought gloves?
Bobby Bones
No, you didn't.
Amy
I did.
Bobby Bones
There's no way. If you're at a store, you just didn't think about chocolates.
Amy
I thought like chocolates.
Bobby Bones
I have a you never thought of chocolates dollar.
Amy
Yeah, they're right by the cash register.
Bobby Bones
I saw you would have bought 70 out of the. Oh, that'd been the greatest ever. You bought $75 worth of chocolates and none of them were dark.
Amy
Oh, that would have been cool.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I don't even hate. I don't even hate. I'm just saying the gloves are stupid. I'm never going to use them. But Ray may.
Amy
Well now you're never going to use them because Ray has them and I.
Bobby Bones
Hope he uses them. The guys from Michigan. Guy likes to go back home sometimes. Hands warm maybe. What you did hit me, but actually helped him. If you'd have brought in $75 worth of chocolates, I'd have been hog heaven.
Amy
Noted. Next time.
Bobby Bones
But again, you only had $75, so it's not like you just decided to not buy me something.
Amy
I got you a pillow. That was the main gift.
Bobby Bones
I have it right here, too. That one's. Yeah.
Amy
The pillow is good.
Bobby Bones
Pillow's good. I'm not trading it unless may is a lot of chocolates. Pillow's good. I'm put in my office. By the way, Morgan crushed it. She gave us. I don't know if it was all of us, but most of us. A bag of red like I gave.
Morgan
Yeah. You and Amy, who was a treat for you guys.
Amy
Wow.
Bobby Bones
I did not know it was just us, too.
Amy
Really nice.
Morgan
Well, it's because it takes so long to cook all those that I did not know that.
Bobby Bones
I swear. I swear to you, I did not know the only. Amy. Did you know that?
Lunchbox
I did know that.
Bobby Bones
I didn't know that.
Amy
Did she tell you? Amy? Did she say, these are just for you? Don't tell anyone.
Bobby Bones
I was not told that. I will say this.
Lunchbox
She didn't say it that way.
Chumba Casino Ad
Wow.
Bobby Bones
Right now my hip hurts really bad because I put my foot all the way in my mouth. Like, it's okay. This was not for the bit. This is not a bit. I did not know that. I'm very sorry about that. Now I have a couple things to say. Those bite. Those Oreo balls, one of the greatest things that's ever been in my mouth.
Abby
What do you think, Eddie? Are they pretty good?
Amy
I love Oreo balls, and I want.
Bobby Bones
You guys, and you guys are for free to get irritated for a second, but please let me just compliment Morgan before. So this is just MySpace, Morgan. They were. They were awesome.
Morgan
Thank you. I'm glad you like what they look like.
Bobby Bones
They look like cake pops. They're white. And they had. And if you made those that. I'd rather have that than Eddie's freaking.
Amy
That's not true. Don't even say that.
Bobby Bones
That's the true. I did make them A plus. Excellent. And then the bread, it was like a mini loaf of, like, sweet bread. I don't even know what that was.
Morgan
Poppy seed bread with icing.
Abby
And you got double things. Well, you got cake pops and bread.
Bobby Bones
Hold on. I'm in the middle of so complimenting, and you can have your minute. But I was like, I'm just gonna have a little piece of this. I'm gonna really this day, I'm gonna have this. This day I'm gonna have this. It was so good. I had it all in one sitting. It was a whole mini loaf is a plus. I did not know that it was only Amy and I. Thank you. It was excellent. Anything you want to say?
Lunchbox
Oh, yeah. I loved them.
Bobby Bones
But you knew.
Lunchbox
I didn't know I ate them. Well, because I was just with Morgan, and we were talking about it, and she's like, gosh, they're just so hard to make. And I'll let her speak for herself, but sort of. I mean, I don't. She just wanted to make sure if they were given that they were gonna be eaten and ate.
Bobby Bones
I don't.
Lunchbox
Like, in a split second, something happened. Maybe Morgan, take it from there.
Morgan
Yeah. There was years past where I had done it one year and I saw a bunch of them in the trash, so I was like, I'm not doing that again.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Amy
Any chance Bobby and Amy threw them in the trash?
Bobby Bones
Any chance, hey, I throw a bunch of them you guys give me in the trash. There is no chance I would be throwing away sweets I love.
Abby
So you have, like, a little note. Thank you for whatever what is.
Bobby Bones
Morgan told me that with her mouth, she was like, hey.
Morgan
Yeah, it was like, so Amy every year gets everybody gifts, and I wanted to make sure Amy got something in return this year. Like, that was really important to me, and she's been a really great friend for me through a tough year. And Bobby's been super supportive of me this year. And also, I've never gotten gifts from the rest of you guys, so it's not like I felt obligated to do that either.
Lunchbox
Oh, Lunchbox and Eddie and Mike, y'all have a little something.
Abby
Oh, thank you. I appreciate you, Amy.
Amy
Appreciate that. I mean, that's so sweet of you.
Abby
Hey, Eddie, you ever come in early and help Morgan do the best bits?
Amy
Yeah, a lot of time.
Abby
Scuba, you do that?
Morgan
I have to go and bake on.
Abby
Saturday, usually even on Saturdays, that's when I come in and help her. Ray, you ever do that?
Morgan
Hey, Ray, did I. Or Lunchbox? Did I show up to Sore losers convention? Did I get anything for that?
Bobby Bones
Did you ever have one that's like email or how I help with social media that you don't have to do because it's not, like, work?
Abby
That's weird.
Bobby Bones
Well, thank you. I did not know that. My bad on that. But it's. Guys, I'm telling you, it's the best.
Abby
Ever, and I'm gonna be Pretty busy next year. I don't know if bets bit's gonna work out for me.
Amy
That's a bit.
Bobby Bones
I think. I think if Lunchbox held out, did a holdout from Morgan, and Morgan did a holdout from Lunchbox, Lunchbox would suffer more over the course of a year than the other way around.
Abby
Then Eddie says, hey, he's out on best bits. Then what happens?
Amy
Well, I didn't say that, but, yeah, he's not my agent, dude.
Bobby Bones
Don't have him negotiated.
Amy
I didn't say that.
Abby
What are you thinking about it?
Amy
I mean, I just want Oreo balls. That's all I want.
Bobby Bones
Dude, they were awesome.
Amy
I bet they were so good.
Morgan
If everybody really liked them and they promised to eat them because they are a lot of work, I will bring in a whole bunch of Oreo balls. January of next year.
Bobby Bones
Those would be sympathy balls.
Abby
Exactly. I don't know if I really like sympathy balls.
Morgan
Okay, well, I will.
Abby
They don't taste as good.
Bobby Bones
I take sympathy balls all day, guys. I'm telling you, those sympathy balls, if you want to call them that, they were awesome. And I remember thinking, dang, I'm. Morgan made these. These are better than Eddie's stupid chicken.
Amy
That. Just stop saying that. That's not true.
Bobby Bones
I didn't say it out loud. I said in my head.
Amy
Now you're saying it out loud.
Bobby Bones
I guess I am. But your chicken is also good.
Amy
Thank you.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Amy
You guys want a chicken? Next year, I'll get all you. I should have got all you guys.
Bobby Bones
No, I should. Don't do. I should. As when it should have been a gift, but I should have got all you guys a new car the last.
Amy
No, but the last time I made.
Bobby Bones
You guys should have somebody hide it.
Amy
In the trash can.
Abby
I should have gotten you guys all point.
Morgan
Yeah, Eddie. Although I was supposed to get corn from you at some point.
Bobby Bones
Never got that right. Right.
Amy
Yeah. Smoke corn.
Bobby Bones
Well, that's on me. That's my bad on that one, Morgan.
Morgan
No, it's okay. It wasn't a secret. I just, like, wanted to show appreciation.
Amy
It wasn't a secret. You didn't give it to them in front of us.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Abby
You didn't just walk.
Morgan
I gave it to Bobby in the studio.
Bobby Bones
Literally in the studio with everybody here.
Amy
Really?
Abby
No, no.
Bobby Bones
I'm not sitting here, which is why.
Abby
I would have said, hey, what is that?
Bobby Bones
Which I would.
Abby
I guarantee if it was in front of me, I would ask. So I guarantee I wasn't in here.
Bobby Bones
Which is why I thought they were. Yeah. Okay, well, I, I think we could be done with this segment now, but.
Abby
Way to end the year, guys.
Morgan
Oh my gosh. Do you guys want some in January?
Amy
No.
Morgan
Okay, fine.
Bobby Bones
Guys, you guys missed out.
Morgan
I'll make more for Bobby and Amy.
Bobby Bones
I guess often that you miss out. Like, I'm like, you missed it. You missed out.
Amy
I had nothing to do with it. Come my way.
Bobby Bones
You don't think I would have eaten those balls?
Abby
You don't think my kids would have eaten the balls too?
Bobby Bones
I mean, you're missing at that point. You're only seeing the end. You're not looking at the middle or the beginning. Which is if Morgan would have felt in some way you were supportive of her throughout the year, she would have thought of you.
Amy
Morgan, have I never been supportive of you?
Bobby Bones
No, it's not never. It's not never, but it's never.
Abby
We've never supported.
Bobby Bones
You haven't supported her at all level.
Morgan
Also, did you guys get me anything?
Abby
Did Bobby get you something?
Morgan
No, no, no, hold on.
Amy
I had something here, but I'm not going to anymore.
Morgan
Did you give me anything, Eddie? Actually, no. Okay, lunchbox. Did you give me anything?
Abby
No. Did Bobby get something?
Morgan
He has in very many years past for lots of times.
Abby
So no, no, no, no. The answer is did he get something this year?
Amy
No.
Morgan
But he also supported me to leave the show. Hold on. He supported me to leave the show multiple times this year for, for work trips, for a whole lot of weddings.
Amy
For Remy, like support you to leave the show. To be gone, like exit the show.
Bobby Bones
Don't let them, Morgan, when she distracted you.
Lunchbox
Flexibility. He has been flexible.
Amy
I thought he was telling her like, hey, you should leave the show.
Bobby Bones
No, that's what I'm going to say to you two knuckleheads. Hey, take a year break guys.
Amy
You should leave.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you guys, I support you for that. I'm very supportive of you guys going on Bobby Bone show.
Wheezy
Bonehead.
Bobby Bones
Story of the day.
Abby
This story comes to us from Athens Township, Pennsylvania. Police got a call Sunday evening of a man running around the hotel naked. They go to the scene, they find a 27 year old man running up and down the halls naked, falling all over the place. Turns out he was staying at the hotel and he just exited his room. It locked behind him.
Bobby Bones
That's what I was thinking, that something would happen to me.
Amy
Oh no, it was an accident.
Bobby Bones
Well, I don't know. Was he drunk? It almost doesn't matter though. Like if you lock yourself out and you're naked.
Amy
Correct.
Lunchbox
Well, I Don't run up and down. I sort of call.
Bobby Bones
Well, if you run fast enough, they can't see your privates.
Amy
Is that it?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, if you run fast enough. It's blurry. You guys never seen, like, Roadrunner? All right, go ahead.
Abby
And so he could have just gone to the front desk, got a key, and they would have let him in, but he was running up and down different floors, up and down the stairwells. So he was arrested for public drunkenness.
Bobby Bones
So he was drunk. Okay.
Abby
Indecent exposure.
Bobby Bones
Indecent exposure. Think maybe you. What do you do? Grab an ice bucket from the hallway?
Amy
That's. That's one.
Bobby Bones
If there's. Because I've been in my underwear. Also, I don't even try to close the door naked. And you hold your foot in the door while you're rolling the room service tray out and you're like, please don't shut. Then if it does, you're stuck.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Next thing you know, that's me. But yes, if he's drunk and. Yeah. Okay, I'm lunchbox.
Abby
That's your bonehead story of the day.
Bobby Bones
Phone. Paul in North Carolina. Hey, Paul. Good morning. What's going on?
Raymundo
Good morning. Hey, Bobby. When you went to the new studio, at first I thought you had a new girl on the panel. Because my ears could not adjust to Amy's voice. Did she get, like a new microphone or different equipment? Because it. When. Before you moved, it was a little bit more crisper and like two click mix, higher in the tone. And then now it's a little bit. A little bit deeper and lower in the tone. So I'm wondering if she got a new mic or something.
Bobby Bones
I turned. Turned on.
Lunchbox
But, I mean, I did get a new microphone.
Bobby Bones
You know, is it like something you like?
Lunchbox
But I'm like, also on testosterone.
Bobby Bones
Oh. Oh, like, is it turned?
Raymundo
Oh, See? So it made a difference. It's not. It's not. No, I mean, it's good. It's nothing to complain about. But I.
Bobby Bones
That's what we're asking Paul. Like, do you like it? Like it.
Raymundo
I was just so used to her other tone. It's taking my ears a little bit to adjust. Because I gotta say, that's Amy speaking. That's Amy speaking.
Bobby Bones
You know, because I just don't sound any different. To me, you act like all of a sudden you have a beard and.
Lunchbox
You'Re walking in like, that was just a joke. It must be the mic. I don't. I'm not sure or I'm not sure what he's Picking up on, because I don't.
Amy
She did get Covid somewhere in there. Yeah, maybe that could be.
Bobby Bones
Are you sure you're listening? Is it your headphone? See, I've heard this from nobody else. I appreciate you saying that. Maybe other people will call in.
Lunchbox
Maybe he just hears things that other people don't hear.
Bobby Bones
Listeners will call and let us know if something's different, especially in the voicemail. Especially after Scuba changed the podcast the other day. Scuba, did you get like 10,000 voicemails about that? Oh, yeah.
Amy
They're like, we can't figure out which.
Bobby Bones
Date and time it is.
Amy
I'm like, oh, my God, just listen to it. But, yeah, it makes sense that we wouldn't change the titles back to say.
Chumba Casino Ad
What part it was.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, listeners let us know for the most part. We appreciate that. Yeah. But, hey, I appreciate that, Paul. I don't know. Do you want to send me some private ones?
Raymundo
Do I. What?
Bobby Bones
Nothing.
Lunchbox
Nothing.
Bobby Bones
Nothing. All right, Paul, have a great day, buddy.
Raymundo
Hey, thank you. Have a blessed day.
Bobby Bones
All right, you two. I don't. I just don't think from what I know there's anything different. Her processing isn't different, which will make her voice sound different. Her microphone, although it's the same kind of microphone, doesn't sound different to me. But also, who cares? Hey, yeah, check out the Bobby Bones show podcast.
