Bobby Bones
Bobby Bones. All right, let's go around the room here. Amy, what segment do you have?
Eddie
I have a segment about that. Oh, hold on, let me get it. I have it. I have it right here. I have. What is your superpower?
Bobby Bones
Okay, go ahead.
Eddie
And it's authenticity.
Bobby Bones
Who's.
Morgan
That's yours.
Bobby Bones
We're all confused.
Eddie
Any human. It's science is saying that one of the greatest superpowers that we all have is authenticity.
Bobby Bones
Oh.
Eddie
Like if you're trying to live up to other people's expectations of who they think you should be, it activates stress in the brain. Cortisol goes up. And so if you can just like get like comfortable with being yourself at all times, that is your superpower.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's just my luck. They're passing out superpowers. Okay, you get to fly. You have X ray vision. All right, Bobby, you're working to give you authenticity. Ah, crap.
Eddie
When. When you're your most authentic self, you do get a boost of dopamine, and that leads to motivation and focus and resilience. So it's just like trying to tap into that, which sometimes it's hard because I know for me, sometimes I can be a little chameleon and I try to just conform to whatever somebody in the room needs me to be, but then I've lost my superpower.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, Superpower is a weird thing.
Eddie
Well, that's what science called it.
Bobby Bones
Science. And that's also a weird thing to just call something. That's science.
Morgan
Superpower is like running through walls.
Ray
Yes.
Bobby Bones
You know, xtray vision, or even on the real life level, superpower would be like somebody who can run really fast or somebody who can lift a whole lot.
Morgan
Right, right, right.
Eddie
So you want to call it just strength, a greatest power.
Bobby Bones
You know, power be. I just go strength.
Eddie
Okay. So a strength would be trying to tap into your most authentic self.
Morgan
Okay.
Eddie
And I'm not saying it's easy, but that's what people want. They want authenticity.
Bobby Bones
Okay, let's give them what they want. Lunchbox. What do you have?
Ray
You know who Paul Allen is?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, he. Well, the Microsoft guy.
Ray
He's a co founder of Microsoft. He died back in 2018. Well, he owns a lot of sports franchises and in his estate he said, listen, you have to sell them all and donate all the money to charity. So the Portland Trailblazers are now up for sale, and it's supposed to get like $3.5 billion.
Bobby Bones
That's. That's all they think the Trailblazers will go for. What? Oh, that's like the Celtics just sold for like, what, six?
Ray
Yeah, but the Mavericks went for like 3.4 billion.
Bobby Bones
But the Celtics kind of reset the market. I bet it goes for over four. It doesn't matter. It kills. Point of your story, all that's going to be donated.
Ray
All that's going to be donated to charity. And I was like, why not, like, do something crazy and donate a certain amount to every individual in the United States? Everybody would get $10 million. There's 300.
Bobby Bones
Did you do that?
Ray
There's 350 million people in the United States. And if he.
Bobby Bones
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Eddie
That would be crazy.
Bobby Bones
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
Ray
Is that right?
Bobby Bones
I would bet.
Morgan
No, like that doesn't sound.
Bobby Bones
I'm going to bet by just those numbers that's very fuzzy and probably wrong. So. Okay, so go ahead, say what you think.
Ray
I thought if I did my calculations.
Bobby Bones
Right, which, you know, let me get my calculator out.
Ray
I just typed into Google And I said 3.5 billion divided by 350 million, and it gave me 10.291. So I figure that's 10.29 million for every person.
Morgan
10 point.
Bobby Bones
10 point.
Morgan
Would that be $10?
Ray
No. 10 million 291 to the beginning again.
Bobby Bones
So let's say the team sells. Let's just go a little high and go 4 billion. Let's just say lunchbox, the benefit of the doubt.
Ray
And there's 340.
Bobby Bones
You have $4 billion, right?
Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And there are how many people in America?
Ray
340 million.
Bobby Bones
There are 340 million people.
Morgan
That sounds right. Right?
Ray
That sounds right.
Bobby Bones
In America. And you gave every person 10 million? No.
Morgan
Well, no, you wouldn't figure that out.
Bobby Bones
You gave every person a split, equal amount.
Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
What would that be? All right, if I move the one, carry the two.
Morgan
Oh, my goodness.
Bobby Bones
See, if you have 4 billion divided equally among 340 million people, so 4 billion. 11 point each person would get approximately $11.76.
Morgan
No, lunchbox, you were thinking dollars, not million.
Eddie
I can't. That's right.
Morgan
That's off that sound.
Ray
That's off.
Eddie
This is very authentic. To lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
Who's off, me or him? Okay.
Eddie
I was gonna say this is on brand.
Bobby Bones
So 4 million divided by 340. 4 billion divided by 340 million equals 11.76. Now, I did 4 billion. He did 3.6 or whatever, and equals 11.76. That literally means $11.76. Not the. In his case, the 10.
Eddie
Wow, that would be something.
Morgan
I mean, we'll take that.
Bobby Bones
No. Donate it to somebody who can make a difference.
Ray
I get it now. Okay. Okay. So my whole. Like, I got excited, like, I was reading the story, just going, man, some charity is about to be like, wow, like, you need to start sucking up to those family members.
Bobby Bones
I bet they don't give it all to 1. I bet if you have $4 billion, you split it up to, like, 8 to 10.
Ray
How crazy is it that he has that?
Bobby Bones
I want to stick on. Everybody got $10 million in America. I don't want to. I don't want to run from that, because we really dedicated the first part of this, and I'm an idiot.
Morgan
I'm like, that sounds right.
Bobby Bones
And I. I felt like from the. I didn't want to yell. That wasn't right, because there are times I'm wrong. Just instinctually wrong. But I knew it didn't sound.
Ray
Yeah. I just typed it into Google.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I said, but it told you the right answer. You just didn't read it right.
Ray
Right. I read the point as a comma.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Ray
And I was like, oh, my gosh. Why would they give it to Charity when they can make everybody in America rich. Yeah, but I was wrong. But that's.
Eddie
How would they even do that? Like, how would they distribute it?
Ray
Irs. Here you go. Here's this money.
Eddie
The IRS is going to be like.
Morgan
That'S not our job. Yeah, we don't have time for that.
Bobby Bones
What are we, the census and the frigging post office at the same time?
Ray
I don't know. They hit the Treasury Department. I don't know. But I thought that was amazing that he's giving it all to charity. That is bananas.
Bobby Bones
I think he bought the team for like 75 million or something.
Morgan
Dang.
Bobby Bones
We could probably fact check that back in the day. Like, I think, like the 80s or something. Earlier this year, the Boston Celtics sold for 6.1 billion, elevating all team values. Alan bought the Blazers in 1988 for $70 million.
Ray
Oh, my God. That is. And he's not even. He's not going to keep the profits like his family.
Morgan
He's probably already made money.
Bobby Bones
He's dead. But he's made money from the team a lot, and the family has. But now they're just going to sell.
Ray
The team and give all the money away.
Bobby Bones
Jerry Jones bought the Dallas Cowboys for 140 million.
Eddie
What year?
Bobby Bones
And 89. And that is worth more than the Celtics. I think the Cowboys are top three most valuable franchises in the world. They're worth 10 billion.
Eddie
Does that just mean the fans are. I can crazy.
Morgan
I contribute to that?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I mean, the brand is very strong, and it's a very strong national brand.
Eddie
The fans are fanatics.
Morgan
Yeah, we're crazy.
Bobby Bones
35 years under, the Cowboys are worth a staggering $11 billion.
Eddie
Like, we're gonna keep buying 3 billion.
Bobby Bones
More than any other team in the National Football League.
Morgan
Amazing. America's team, baby.
Bobby Bones
Speaking of America, we're all getting $10 million.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Let's go make us rich.
Morgan
Thank you, Lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
Steve Allen. Screw Lunchbox. Steve Allen. What?
Morgan
Lunchbox had the idea.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, Steve Allen. Different guy. The idea of what?
Morgan
Of spreading the money to all of us Americans. Yeah, they were going to give it to charity.
Bobby Bones
Great point. It's him. He gets the credit for it.
Ray
Listen, when I read that, and I was like, oh, my gosh, we could all be rich. And I was so excited to bring that. And then.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, so that's a really cool story, though, that he's donating.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And they'll have a trust that they donate from, so. All right, cool. Morgan, what do you have?
Abby
Well, so you know how I shared all my Health problems I've been having lately.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And they got weirder. Like, she had, like, a pain in her arm. She had. What was the other one?
Abby
I was tasting iron. I had rashes all over my body.
Bobby Bones
Yep.
Abby
So listeners have sent me some potential diagnosis and things that I should look out for.
Bobby Bones
Now, these are about as accurate as lunchboxes. $10 million per American. So listeners have heard.
Abby
Yes, they heard all my whole stories. Vertigo.
Bobby Bones
All the things give me some of their diagnosis.
Abby
Gillian Barr syndrome.
Bobby Bones
Okay, I told you that I think that. Yeah. Is it pronounced?
Abby
Is it. Did I say it wrong?
Bobby Bones
I don't know. I think I've heard it, Jillian, but I don't know. So is it spelled a G, though?
Abby
It's spelled, yeah. G, U, I, L, L, A, I.
Bobby Bones
N. So did you look that up?
Abby
Yeah. Honestly, all these ones that they've given me are. They're scary. So I had to stop looking things up.
Eddie
Oh, my.
Morgan
Are you dying?
Bobby Bones
It's a rare neurological disorder that hits the immune system to attack the peripheral nerves, leading to weakness, numbness, and paralysis. That's how you say it. G Y Barre.
Morgan
Oh, you were saying, Jillian Bar. Is that what I thought?
Bobby Bones
It's spelled like. It looks like Gwillion Barre, if you're just saying. But I. I thought it was a J, but I didn't know it was like Gia, So I guess I'd never heard it. I only read about it. Yeah, it's a condition where the body's immune system attacks the nerves. Yeah. That kind of sucks.
Morgan
Sorry, Morgan.
Abby
Yeah, so.
Bobby Bones
But that's only one. That's only one.
Morgan
Oh, one diagnosis.
Bobby Bones
And these aren't doctors. Right. These are just listeners.
Abby
Some of them are nurse practitioners. Some of them are root caught, like. So we do have some people in here that are in the medical field.
Bobby Bones
Okay. What else do you think you have?
Abby
Pots, Otherwise known as postural. I'm not even gonna. Never mind. Pots. I'm not gonna try and pronounce these words.
Bobby Bones
So. What? I know a lot about pots. What POTS is, it's basically blood pressure, and when you stand up it your blood, and boom, you pass out because you lose the blood and parts of your body.
Morgan
Have you passed out?
Abby
I haven't passed out, no. But they think it could be connected because with the vertigo stuff is the ear canal problem. So that's where a lot of that's coming from.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. It's like your heart. And when your heart goes crazy because you're standing up or even sitting upright, your blood pressure gets all messed up and you pass out. Yeah, the pot sucks. They do a table test for that, which is.
Abby
Yeah, they said you could try a table test at home to, like, even try.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but that's like. Yeah, okay, go ahead. What else you got?
Abby
Shingles.
Bobby Bones
I've had shingles.
Morgan
Don't those break out?
Ray
Yeah, I think you're in pain when you're in shingles, right? Like, it, like.
Abby
I mean, the rashes that I have were crazy. I mean, that's why I, like, panic texted Amy, like, please, somebody give me Benadryl.
Bobby Bones
Shingles. I was told for me different than you was adult chickenpox. Basically, I had chickenpox as a kid, but they come back as shingles. And I had them on my ribs and they hurt in some parts and other parts they didn't. But some people get in their eyes.
Eddie
I had it on my face and my eye when we were in Vegas for work and I had to go to the pharmacy and get Valtrex. Yeah, we remember that in Vegas. Like, I looked. It was not a good look.
Bobby Bones
Shingles is a viral infection that causes a painful blistering rash. So far, I think you want shingles over the other two. If we're, like, tearing these out, what we want Morgan to have, shingles is the winner. All right, so far. Go ahead.
Abby
So then I got bit by the tick, and everybody's associating now the tick with these rashes. There's a thing called Alpha Gal syndrome.
Bobby Bones
That sounds like a superhero. Speaking of Alpha Gal, if she's Alpha Gal, she's like her most authentic self and she's saving lives. That's awesome.
Abby
It's apparently associated with, like, if you're. If you. You can no longer eat meat, it causes different paralysis. It has rashes. There's associations. But the first start of Alpha Gal is rashes.
Bobby Bones
A lot of they say mammal derived products, not just meat, but you have an allergy to mammal products. And a mammal is lunchbox.
Ray
Mammal. Gosh, this is tough. They need air. They're warm blooded.
Bobby Bones
Fair enough. Keep going.
Ray
Oh, there's more.
Bobby Bones
Well, sure.
Ray
We're mammals.
Bobby Bones
We are mammals. The way I always learned it as a kid was mammals have hair.
Morgan
Oh, really?
Bobby Bones
That was really the most basic way that I learned it.
Morgan
Isn't a whale a mammal?
Bobby Bones
Whale is a mammal.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Whales have hair. They do what? I think they have, like, prickles. Sure.
Ray
Oh, see, that's confusing.
Bobby Bones
I never pet a whale, but I just always assumed because a whale was a mammal that was called prickles. Well, they have small hairs, I think. Again, I need to like touch one, but I'm pretty sure to be a mammal. And I remember thinking of whales, that whales have some sort of hair. Mike, would you fact check that for me? Yeah. It says whales have hair at some point in their life.
Morgan
Then they go bald like you. I'm a whale.
Bobby Bones
Well, basically. Okay, what else do you have?
Abby
Parasites.
Bobby Bones
We all have them.
Abby
Yeah, I know we all have them. And I've talked to somebody about this, so there is something that I could potentially walk down with that. That could help just kind of clear that one off the board. So we'll see about that. Nerve.
Bobby Bones
We all have parasites anyway. We do, yes.
Eddie
Well, they impact us differently.
Bobby Bones
I was told because people were doing parasite cleanses, and I was like, I guess I'll do one. And I went to the doctor and they were like, you pass parasites so quickly that you are very lucky that you're able to get rid of parasites quick.
Eddie
Oh, that's like your. That's.
Morgan
That's your superpower.
Bobby Bones
That's the kind of power I'd be blessed with. I'm stupid one. While other people get X ray vision, I'm authentic. And able to pass parasites quickly. Yes.
Abby
Okay, what else you got a nerve condition which would.
Bobby Bones
That's probably what you have. You have one of those, even if it's not related to the other ones. I think you very much have something neurological. Right?
Abby
Yeah.
Eddie
I mean, nerve and neurologic, the same thing.
Bobby Bones
Nerve condition, they don't have to be exactly the same, but nerves are part of the neuro system. But not all neuro is nerves.
Abby
And there's been a lot of research around vertigo and the vagus nerve.
Bobby Bones
I think that's where Amy got Valtrex.
Morgan
That's right.
Eddie
No, the vagus nerve is. Well, that's. You can go ahead. Why can't I remember things, guys?
Bobby Bones
Well, yeah, you struggle from the very beginning. And my favorite thing was she thought we were just gonna like hit stop. Well, we were live.
Eddie
I wasn't gonna stop, but she's like, hold on. Oh, shoot. I had it.
Bobby Bones
She's like, ray, don't hit record yet. Hold on. And we're like, live.
Ray
She starts going. She goes. It's. Oh, wait, I got it.
Bobby Bones
Hold on.
Eddie
I thought my brain was gonna think of it and I couldn't get to my Google Doc and I was like, there it is.
Bobby Bones
There it is. I waited all that time to find out a superpower is telling the truth?
Eddie
No. Just. Yes, tell us.
Ray
The vagus nerve connects the brain to various organs in the Neck, chest, and abdomen.
Eddie
Yes, it's very important.
Bobby Bones
And it's not, by the way, it's not Vegas.
Morgan
Las Vegas.
Bobby Bones
No, it's like with a U instead of. Instead of Vagas.
Eddie
Vagus. But that's what stimulated. Like when you. Or they say, like, when you do something, like, there's different activities that can stimulate the vagus nerve, but cold plunge is one of those. And that's why sometimes that can be very beneficial.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And like, POTS is very much affected by the vagus nerve. And then also I've done a bunch of digestion stuff. I had to get, like, colonoscopy, endoscopy. The vagus nerve, like, handles a lot of your digestion, and if you have issues with it, heart rate, a lot of that. But that seems like it'd be a part of whatever it is. A much smaller part of something bigger.
Abby
Yeah. Would be my guess. But I have, like.
Bobby Bones
There's some syndrome that's. Or something that it's affecting the vagus nerve more than. It's just, like, a bad vagus nerve.
Abby
Yeah. Well, and that's why I just did a lot of reading. And the vagus nerve was really connected with people who were dealing with BPPV or vertigo. So that was that connection.
Eddie
BPPV.
Abby
BPPV?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. If you bat over 300 BPPV, you get in the Baseball hall of Fame. It's really. It's amazing.
Morgan
It's quite the accomplishment.
Bobby Bones
You have done it. Ted Williams last got a bat over 400 with BPPV.
Eddie
I just looked it up because my brain was trying to remember what it's called. But the vagus nerve is also known as the superhighway.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Everything's a superpower superhighway.
Eddie
It's a superhighway. It connects our brain to all of our organs.
Bobby Bones
Cold exposure is one of the things, though, that kind of resets it. Okay, what else? Anything else?
Abby
Yeah, here's the last one. Multiple sclerosis.
Morgan
Oh, gosh.
Bobby Bones
That's bad, right?
Ray
That is not a good one. You don't want that one.
Bobby Bones
We don't want any of them. I mean, she's not begging for any of them.
Morgan
Is that ms?
Eddie
Yeah.
Abby
Which is so. And somebody who said they got, like, it was ms, but then the. How'd you say? The GIA bar. Gbs. That one. They were kind of hard to establish between the two of those, so.
Bobby Bones
So ms, Basically. When you talk about nerves, our nervous systems are like. Like Amy says, the highway are electrical wires. So I think you could use both of Those as analogies. And so Mississippi. This is a very terrible explanation of. It is kind of roadblocks or like if they were doing construction on one of the roads and stuff. Can't get through. Yeah, that would be how I would explain it.
Morgan
Good.
Bobby Bones
About. Well, no, I don't know if it's good or not.
Morgan
It's a good, like five year old way of explaining it. Yes, we got it.
Bobby Bones
And so. Yeah, but like Michael J. Fox has Ms. Or Parkinson's.
Eddie
Parkinson's.
Bobby Bones
Got it.
Abby
The girl from Legally Blonde has Ms. The actress.
Ray
Reese Witherspoon.
Abby
No, she's brunette.
Eddie
Yeah, sorry. My brain's not working today, so.
Bobby Bones
I know.
Eddie
I know who you're. Exactly who you're talking about.
Abby
She's. Yeah, she's been on a lot of award shows.
Bobby Bones
You know her name.
Eddie
Hold on. I'm gonna get there. I'm gonna get there. I'm gonna get there. Give me a hint, Mike. I know you know it. Give me a hint.
Bobby Bones
Oh, you got it.
Ray
Sarah Michelle Gill? Sigourney Weaver.
Eddie
No, but that's what's also in my head. Severn.
Abby
Oh, you're there.
Eddie
It starts with S. Help me a little more. L. I would like to get there myself.
Bobby Bones
I don't know who she is.
Eddie
You will when I say it.
Bobby Bones
Chloe Savini.
Abby
No, starts with an S. Oh, Selma Blair.
Eddie
Selma Blair.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. She has Ms. Yeah. I think Christina. Christina Applegate also. Yep, she has.
Eddie
And Christina Applegate had breast cancer, too.
Bobby Bones
I think Jack Osborne.
Eddie
Wow.
Bobby Bones
You may want to check that one. I think Montel Williams. Oh, has Ms. Yep.
Eddie
What?
Bobby Bones
I'm doing a Bobby Castle's. I'm coming up. Not Montel Jordan, because I told Eddie I was doing a Bobby Castle. Montel Williams. He was like, this is how we do. Wrong, Montel.
Eddie
But you're Montel. He had a talk show, right?
Bobby Bones
Yes, the Montel Williams.
Eddie
At least my brain's working on that.
Morgan
Why doesn't our brain work, though, like that?
Eddie
Some days. I don't know.
Morgan
Yeah. Some days it could be.
Bobby Bones
I'm glad you asked. It could be sleep. It could be nutrition. It could be stress. It could be water. It could be vagus nerve. Yeah. It could be GABA syndrome.
Eddie
Well, it could be hormones.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yeah. There's the fact that our bodies. And a lot of times we're not grateful for our health because we just expect it to be good. So it's like when you're feeling good, you're not going, man, I sure am happy. I feel good today. But it's like a Gillion, things have to go right in order for you to be healthy. And we just expect it. So for every little thing to go right and we feel good. Think of all the cells in our bodies, all the neuropathways, all the muscles, all the joints, everything. If you have a day where you feel good, that should almost be like a celebration day. But instead, when we don't have a day, we feel good. We're like, oh, this sucks. But yeah, to feel good. Pretty wild. Because the odds are that wouldn't happen because everything has to be right.
Morgan
Yeah, that's like celebration day. That's a good idea.
Bobby Bones
Even to be born.
Morgan
Yeah. We celebrate birthdays.
Bobby Bones
No, I'm talking about just to be born. You're that one sperm out of all of the. Out of all of them. Yeah.
Morgan
Whoa. So we swam with a bunch of other ones, but I'm the one that got picked.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Did you see the sperm races they had?
Ray
Yeah, that was pretty crazy.
Morgan
Like they had like a race.
Bobby Bones
Race.
Eddie
But I didn't watch it.
Bobby Bones
It wasn't make a race to make the sperm because that'd be weird. It was a race.
Morgan
Like once they were like racing towards something.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yes.
Morgan
That's cool.
Bobby Bones
So they. The sperm and you could like a billionaires. I was designed some idea to do sperm races and out of college, right? Yeah. And it was like. Yeah, it was on the news.
Morgan
Is this your topic?
Bobby Bones
No, but it was the first ever live sperm racing. Wow. And they had him get up there like UFC fighters and like face to face with each other.
Morgan
Sperms.
Bobby Bones
Yes. And then you saw them in a little. On a little screen and you could see the little sperms who would move the fastest.
Morgan
Can we do that on the show?
Bobby Bones
No, I don't want to have anything.
Eddie
I don't. No, I. No. And we're not. No. I don't want to think about retrieving y' all.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Abby
What were they racing in? Like, what?
Bobby Bones
They took them, injected them into a little like a tube and they put them into basically a machine with like a magnifying.
Eddie
A microscope.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, like. Like a microscope. It didn't look like the kind that you used.
Eddie
Zoomed in.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yes. No. And then they blew it.
Eddie
Right, right, right.
Morgan
And were there odds on the. The sperms?
Bobby Bones
No, because they hadn't raced enough to have odds.
Morgan
Got it.
Bobby Bones
But they look like little. My little tadpoles, right? Yeah, it's like tiny tadpoles. They're alive and they're flying and like. And there was a finish line and one of them Won.
Ray
Yeah. My question is, is it?
Bobby Bones
And they lifted the guy up like he won the NASCAR race.
Morgan
Well, then we all won the race.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
We're racing against ourselves, like our other siblings. Other. Other versions of us. Yes. What lunchbox.
Ray
Is it scientifically accurate on whose was faster? Because, you know, you had to take it, put it in a tube. So maybe one was like, oh, man, I thought I was gonna go right away and swim, and now I gotta wait. And it's like, they get lazy.
Bobby Bones
Well, here's what I'd like to say. If horse racing is a sport. So is this because the horses don't know they're trying to win?
Eddie
Oh, my gosh. Y' all are gonna start betting on sperm on DraftKings.
Morgan
Maybe.
Bobby Bones
Let's see if they have that up.
Morgan
But you're right. We need to have enough races to know who's, like, a favorite.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Abby
But would there be a favorite? Because could they use it again, or.
Morgan
Would it just now they kind of die.
Bobby Bones
Right? I think. I think the sperm dies immediately. Yeah. Hey, Amy, there's a lot of dead sperm. You know what I'm saying? It's not like this dead spot. Like, I got a lot of socks with rest in peace from growing up.
Eddie
I'm like, it's reckless abandonment.
Morgan
It really is.
Eddie
And Legally blonde, she says, 14 up.
Bobby Bones
A lot of socks. This is like, rest in peace.
Morgan
It's a big cemetery.
Eddie
Overall, I feel great today.
Bobby Bones
The fact that we were talking about angina, and we're all like, we know about angina. Segment earlier this week.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And angina is a pain.
Eddie
Yeah. That's what Morgan has.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And Right. And then we're like, we know.
Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
We know all about angina.
Ray
Please.
Bobby Bones
There's one thing we know is angina.
Morgan
That's right.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. We're stupid. Let's do a mid roll here. Ray, we okay with that? There are a lot of reasons to like Hyundai. Or heck, like me, even love Hyundai. I have a Hyundai Santa Fe. It's amazing. The Bluetooth is the easiest to use of anything I've ever used. It's awesome. Hyundai is committed to supporting their American consumers. I mean, they've invested in the United States with factories like the new Meta plant over in Georgia. They've created 570,000 jobs with 100,000 more to come. And they just announced they will not be raising MSRP through June 2, no matter what. Call 562-314-4603 for more details.

The American west with Dan Flores is the latest show from the Meat Eater Podcast Network. Hosted by me, writer and historian Dan Flores and brought to you by by Velvet Buck, this podcast looks at a West available nowhere else. Each episode I'll be diving into some of the lesser known histories of the West. I'll then be joined in conversation by guests such as Western historian Dr. Randall Williams and best selling author and meat eater founder Stephen Rinella.
Bobby Bones
I'll correct my kids now and then where they'll say when cave people were here. And I'll say it seems like the.
Debbie Brown
Ice Age people that were here didn't have a real affinity for caves.
Dan Flores
So join me starting Tuesday, May 6th where we'll delve into stories of the west and come to understand how it helps inform the ways in which we experience the region today.
Theo Von
Listen to the American west with Dan Flores on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Bobby Bones
She was a decorated veteran, a Marine who saved her comrades, a hero. She was stoic, modest, tough. Someone who inspired people. Everyone thought they knew her until they didn't.
Morgan
I remember sitting on her couch and.
Eddie
Asking her, is this real?
Bobby Bones
Is this real? Is this real?
Morgan
Is this real?
Bobby Bones
I just couldn't wrap my head around what kind of person would do that.
Theo Von
To another person that was getting treatment.
Bobby Bones
That was, you know, dying. This is a story all about trust and about a woman named Sarah Kavanaugh.
Abby
I've always been told I'm a really good listener, Right.
Bobby Bones
And I maximized that while I was lying. Listen to Deep Cover the Truth About Sarah on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. All right, let's go over to Eddie.
Morgan
I got the video that's gone viral of Theo Vaughn. Have you seen this?
Bobby Bones
Which one?
Eddie
The baby one?
Morgan
No, no, it's the one.
Bobby Bones
I watch all the baby podcasts.
Abby
How do we do that? To us? We haven't tried AI.
Bobby Bones
Well, yeah, but that's easy to say, right? Right.
Morgan
So good AI.
Bobby Bones
Here are the good AIs. I like Genie. Genie's really good. You can try that with that one. And there are some you have to subscribe to get them to do video. And some of the video's bad, so I don't know which one they're using. I can do little cartoon versions, but they never come out right.
Abby
They don't look like the real baby. Like, babylistic is what I call them.
Morgan
Good.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, the baby. Cause I've seen, like, 10 podcasts or 10. I watched the Office and baby. Hilarious. What was yours, Eddie?
Morgan
The video.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Morgan
It's not a baby video.
Bobby Bones
Oh, then why did you lead us there like that?
Morgan
Because I said the Yovon. You guys are like, the baby.
Bobby Bones
Oh, how that happened.
Ray
I know what he's about to say.
Bobby Bones
You guys may want to spoil. I was chasing that sucker. All right, go ahead.
Morgan
No, no, he got. He was in a bar in Nashville, and somebody went up to him, and he obviously looks irritated, like, hey, leave me alone, please. And then he turns around, like, grabs this person by the throat.
Bobby Bones
The Ovon grabs him by the throat.
Morgan
And pushes him away.
Bobby Bones
I didn't see this.
Morgan
I will send you the video. I honestly think.
Bobby Bones
No way.
Morgan
Yeah, I feel like it's not fair because, one, maybe I'm watching too much Karen Reed, but I don't think that we don't have. We don't have a clear vision of him grabbing throat.
Bobby Bones
Okay, hold on. The guy has balloons. He walks up to Theo von, says something to Theo Von. Theovan turns around, the guy grabs him again. Theo Von says something else to him. Theo Von's kind of in his face a little bit. The guy gets in his face. Theo Von pushes him back by the throat. I'm not mad at Theo Von for this. I don't know the whole story. I didn't even read the story to even know half the story. But so far, there was a pushback. I have no problem with what I saw yet. Oh, there it is. Push again. The guy, obviously. This is what I see. Theo Vaughn's watching the game in a.
Morgan
Bar, talking to some girls.
Bobby Bones
Talking to girls or whomever. There's a game up behind him. So I just watching the game. Guy goes up, puts his hand on Theo, is like, hey. Theo says something that looks like, hey, man, I'm in. I'm over here talking like, leave me alone. Guy goes up again to him, touches him, and you can't see. But guy, don't touch. Don't touch people. First of all. Don't touch people.
Ray
Yeah. Just go to your little graduation party, whatever you're there for. You got the balloons like, you don't.
Bobby Bones
Need to bother with people even if you're bothering. Don't touch. And probably said something. Yeah, I'm not angry at the ovaugh for this. I'll read you now because I read nothing about it. I'm glad you brought this up.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
No idea. Comedian Theo Vaughan was in no laughing mood when he grabbed a fan by the throat. This from TMZ Mike?
Ray
Yep.
Bobby Bones
@ a Nashville bar earlier this month. And we have the disturbing altercation on video. It is not disturbing. It's barely an altercation. Right? Check it out. A man holding some birthday balloons goes up to Theo, but doesn't back down after a quick back and forth, clearly antagonizing him. Yeah, the guy was antagonizing Theo. Theo looks like he wants to be left alone. And just seconds into the video, you see him wrap his right hand around the man's neck and firmly push him back.
Morgan
You really don't see the hand touch his body because it's covered by balloons?
Bobby Bones
I do. You see?
Eddie
I see the hand, but I don't know that it's like, is it grabbing the throat or is it.
Bobby Bones
Or maybe I just assumed it was.
Eddie
A throat because it could be here.
Ray
But he's using it to put. I mean, he's not choking him out. He's more.
Eddie
Right.
Ray
Shoving.
Morgan
But that's what this says, though, that he grabbed his neck.
Bobby Bones
And I'm like, one more time.
Morgan
I never saw him grab his neck because it's. There's a balloon in the way.
Bobby Bones
So I'm gonna watch one more time. Hit play. Okay. TMZ guy has got the balloons. Goes up to Theo. Oh, you cannot tell.
Morgan
Boom.
Bobby Bones
I would guess throat, but because. Yeah, that's.
Morgan
Yeah, obviously, it looks like it's the throat area, but you can't say with 100% confidence that he grabbed the throat.
Bobby Bones
I got it. Paused. That's the throat.
Morgan
Oh, he grabbed the throat.
Bobby Bones
When you say Mike. Yeah, yeah, I got. But I don't care. The guy touched him twice, right? That's the throat, dude.
Morgan
There's no balloon in the room.
Bobby Bones
And this dude wears the kind of shirt of somebody that would touch somebody twice.
Morgan
I didn't see the shirt.
Bobby Bones
It's.
Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Silky.
Eddie
So that's it.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's like silk and patterned. And he's got his balloons. You went up to Theo Vaughn. He obviously did not want to talk. You touched him the first time. He's like, hey, man, not cool. Don't go back again. You shouldn't touch him the first time also. Okay. You go up, and it kind of sucks that your favorite celebrity doesn't want to say hi. That's okay. It's his life. He cannot be your favorite celebrity after that day. But don't go back up to him and touch him again.
Ray
Yeah, and I do like the keys hanging from his belt loop.
Bobby Bones
Which guy?
Ray
The guy that gets choked.
Morgan
Balloons.
Bobby Bones
He's wearing a silk shirt, keys from his belt loop, and got balloons.
Morgan
And another thing, too, is if you listen to the audio of it, she. You hear him or the girl shooting the video say, like, all right, I'm gonna do it. And then he goes up. So I doesn't. I don't know if it means, like, watch, I'm gonna go mess with him, or I'm gonna go talk to him.
Bobby Bones
It's that. It's the second one. There's no messing, because messing the first time would have probably been a choke throat.
Morgan
Yeah, the first time.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. They're probably just upset that the ovan's like, I'm in the middle of something over here. Yeah.
Eddie
This is ridiculous.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's ridiculous.
Morgan
And then two, the cops were called. Cops investigated. There was nothing. No charges. No charges were pressed or anything. So nothing happened.
Ray
The cops were called.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Oh, what a douche. By misdemeanor assault, man.
Ray
Key guy, silk shirt guy. You called the cops. You're a loser.
Bobby Bones
Big douche.
Morgan
She hadn't seen that one in your algorithm. I'd seen that heavy in my algorithm.
Bobby Bones
May 14th. So Friday, Wednesday afternoon.
Ray
I did not realize they called the cops.
Eddie
That is the only Theo. Honestly, the only Theo Von I've seen recently is baby Theo.
Bobby Bones
Maybe Theo wouldn't.
Morgan
Josh, that stuff's so cool. Do you like some of those podcasts? It looks just like them as a baby. As a baby.
Bobby Bones
Just like piss. For Theo watching this, that's pretty five times, like, dude, don't be a douchebag.
Ray
And then he's still yell after he does the choke and pushing him away, the guy's still yelling at Theo, and.
Bobby Bones
It'S like, I wish they would say who that guy was. Mm. Well, yeah.
Morgan
Balloon guy.
Bobby Bones
You're a douchebag. Key silk shirt, balloon guy. And he probably posted the video being like, look how I was mistreated.
Ray
Exactly.
Bobby Bones
When you do that, then you edit all the way to just a choke. You don't show how you were a douchebag leading up to it. If that's the video you have, here's what I have.
Ray
Your balloons are all up on them. I mean.
Bobby Bones
So we looked at the last 60 days on our YouTube channel. Just the last 60 days. And I was curious as to what the best performing YouTube videos were over the last 60 days. I would have never guessed the number one video, meaning it got more streams than any other video did in the last 60 days. It's a difficult question to ask, but any. Any guesses at all the last couple of months?
Eddie
Let me think of what have we.
Ray
I don't know what you put up there.
Morgan
Well, a lot of crazy stuff.
Bobby Bones
The answer is Chris Stapleton covering your man.
Morgan
I mean, from a video that has.
Bobby Bones
17 million views overall. Still, people like. We'll search Stapleton. That video gets viewed even in the last 60 days more than any new content. Number two, Chris Stapleton covering Strawberry wine. Wow.
Morgan
Was that the same performance? Like, same show?
Bobby Bones
He did that for St. Jude and we put that up. Number three was current the Megan Maroney interview. Number four was the original Yodel Kids interview.
Morgan
Wow.
Bobby Bones
That has a million views. But over the last 60 days, it's been one of our top streamers. There are times I look at this, I don't remember Dean Summerwind coming into the studio and performing parked out by the lake.
Eddie
Oh, I remember the song Parked out by the lake. I remember that part.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I remember the song. We played the song because it was like, parked out by the lake. Parked out by the lake. Parked out by the lake. I don't remember him coming in.
Morgan
We've had a lot of guests.
Bobby Bones
That one's at. I know that one's at. Number five, Bailey Zimmerman performing rock in a hard place. At number six, Ella Langley talking about you look like you love me at number seven. So so far, only one of the top seven things is newish material. Number eight, though. Excuse me. Excuse me. Morgan and Amy admit they've been cheated on. So that was Reese. That was in the last 60 days.
Abby
Yeah, we talked about that. Yeah. It was like a news story that then turned into confession.
Bobby Bones
That was a confession. But a really good headline teaser.
Eddie
Oh.
Bobby Bones
To lure folks in. And it was mostly Morgan. And then you recall your day back in the day. Yeah. Jelly roll shares his first story from being in jail back in the day. And number 10, Eddie versus Morgan in the chair competition.
Morgan
Wow. We made it, Morgan.
Abby
We made it, guys.
Morgan
You look terrible in that video, though.
Abby
I don't want to talk about that.
Bobby Bones
Okay. What do you mean?
Morgan
Just her not finishing the chair. It's a bad look for Morgan.
Bobby Bones
Ever get finished?
Morgan
No. It's in the corner over here.
Ray
In the corner in timeout.
Abby
I don't have time for that, guys.
Bobby Bones
You know that's like a good chair we're just not using.
Abby
I said anybody could take it and finish it.
Morgan
Not a good look.
Abby
Good.
Bobby Bones
Balloon guy responding. What is this, Abby? A tick tock.
Abby
Oh, balloon guy in the Theo Vaughn thing. Yeah, he's a balloon guy.
Bobby Bones
Hold on a second. Let's see. I want to follow. I just want to hear it for anyone who saw the.
Morgan
Oh, what's that?
Bobby Bones
I haven't pre. It's a bar.
Theo Von
Hey, I'm the fan who got choked out by Theo Vaughn. Let me tell you what actually happened, by the way.
Bobby Bones
I've not heard this yet, so I'm going to play it live and we'll all hear it together. Anybody else heard this?
Morgan
No.
Theo Von
Okay, so I'm not just a random fan. I live in Nashville. I play music full time. That's me.
Bobby Bones
And he's showing a video of him playing guitar on stage.
Morgan
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Oh, man. There you go.
Theo Von
Happened on May 2nd. You can see right there. Which also happened to be my birthday. I had my gig from six o' clock to ten o' clock, bro.
Bobby Bones
We don't care.
Ray
So you've probably been drinking.
Bobby Bones
We don't care. At your birthday, by the way, you're getting any birthday surplus of love before we figure out what happened here.
Theo Von
My friends brought me cake, they brought me balloons. The bar brought me sparklers.
Bobby Bones
Okay, Fluff.
Theo Von
So when Theo walked in, he didn't have any security with him, so people were walking up to him, talking to him, taking photos. I finished my show. This was like 10, 18. Nobody in my party had talked to him yet, not even me. We thought it would be a funny video idea to get him and me popping my birthday balloons together because he's a comedian. I was trying to be courteous because he was.
Bobby Bones
I already don't like this guy.
Ray
That's hilarious.
Bobby Bones
He's made up so much fluff before he even gets to the story.
Morgan
What was the bit he wanted to do? What were the balloons?
Eddie
Pop the balloons, cuz he's a comedian.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, a comedian. What, the 20s?
Theo Von
Talking to somebody at the moment. So in this next video, you can actually hear me say, I don't want to interrupt their conversation.
Bobby Bones
I don't want. So he interrupts our conversation. That's like somebody going, hey, I don't mean to be rude. Then they're really rude.
Theo Von
I was waiting my turn to talk to him. Everybody was all just standing around having fun, having a good time. Nobody was bothering anybody. I mean, I'll show you the full video.
Bobby Bones
He's hugging, hugging some girl. He's got balloons. She's saying something to him. His shirt's halfway unbuttoned. He's going up to Theo now.
Theo Von
This is where the video that you've seen starts. I went up and I said, will you pop some balloons with me? He turned away and looked like I said something offensive. I leaned in and said, hey, man, I'm a fan. I'm just messing with you. He turned back around and then aggressively got in my face right there. I was confused. So you can see me lean in and say, what? And that's when he grabbed my throat and shoved me back. What happened was a completely uncalled for.
Bobby Bones
Reaction, especially no, dude, you touched him twice, you're a dish. He's still a douche.
Theo Von
When you consider the facts that nobody in my party had been badgering him for hours.
Bobby Bones
That doesn't matter. That's absolutely irrelevant. Since nobody else had been bothering him. He can go up and touch him and they'll go, no, thank you. Then he touches them again. Absolutely irrelevant and free. Karen Reed.
Theo Von
We didn't even talk to him. This was a 14 second interaction. And that was it. As an entertainer in downtown Nashville, I get being overwhelmed by crowds and people coming up to you.
Ray
No, you don't.
Bobby Bones
Now, this guy gave us 30 seconds of fluff at the beginning. He literally goes up. Theo doesn't want to pop your balloons, bro. Back away. Back away. He doesn't have to. Don't go up to him again the second time. And don't touch him again.
Ray
No, but he understands.
Theo Von
At least I get to unplug and go home. And, you know, I feel for Theo where he probably can't get away from that a lot more easily than I can. I'm post surgery. I was one week back from recovery.
Bobby Bones
Okay, here we go again. It's so many excuses.
Theo Von
This could have ended my career, but luckily, there was no damage to my vocal cords or neck. I just want people to know that, you know, the celebrities that you see on camera can be completely different people.
Bobby Bones
No, you're. This guy's.
Ray
Shut up. He said his vocal cords. He's lucky. That could have ended his career. All he did was touch him and push him. He didn't.
Bobby Bones
This guy's a loser. This guy's a loser.
Ray
Oh, my gosh. It could have ended my career.
Bobby Bones
And since nobody else in his party approached Theo, it's weird that Theo got mad that he went, since he. Theo's monitoring all the parties that come up to him, and Theo's like, you know, what party hasn't come up to me? That party over there. So they get one free ambassador.
Ray
And it's his birthday.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And he knows what it's.
Morgan
What, did he plug his band in there?
Bobby Bones
For anyone who saw a TMZ article, it's from Jason Satya. That's his name. And then he tagged TMZ Nashville. Theo Vaughn, comedian, exclusive rat king. FYP for you. For you, page. Viral trending celebrity. Celebrity news caught on camera. Public awareness. What happened? Update, story time.
Eddie
He tagged all of that. He forgot balloons.
Bobby Bones
This is his hashtag.
Eddie
Balloons.
Ray
Career ending.
Bobby Bones
This guy made himself look worse by posting that video. Yeah. What a loser. Hey, good story.
Morgan
Yeah. Thank you, man.
Bobby Bones
Abby, thanks for finding that. Yep.
Eddie
You're welcome.
Morgan
Good job, Abby.
Bobby Bones
I don't want to bully this thing. So does everybody agree this guy's a loser for this?
Eddie
Yeah.
Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Morgan
Stupid move.
Eddie
We're not stupid.
Bobby Bones
It's a loser. Multiple ways you touched him. He didn't want to do it. Don't go touch him again. First of all, that's it. That's number one. Number two, making this video when the first part of it is, it's my birthday. There were sparklers there. You know, no one from my party had been up. I went up and he didn't want to do it, so I went back and I was like, just playing. And then also, it could hurt my career.
Morgan
Yeah. Luckily, it didn't hurt my vocal core.
Ray
How many followers do you have? Because the one line that stood out.
Bobby Bones
To me, he has 996, but only one video.
Ray
996 followers. And he knows what it's like to be overwhelmed in public with fans.
Morgan
One video, though. Maybe he just started his account for this video.
Bobby Bones
I think he probably took the rest down because people will then start to find other stuff about you, if I'm guessing.
Eddie
Oh, so you know, when we were talking about that in there, you said, free camera Theon.
Bobby Bones
I'd go find him and shove him again. I'd go find out where he is. If he's playing another show, I'd walk up on stage and choke him again. No, go ahead, Amy. What?
Eddie
Well, I'm about to get some podcasts that apparently we're supposed to listen to, because my best friend from high school, Andrea, she sent me a text yesterday and she goes, karen Reid definitely hit him. She goes, I used to think otherwise, but no way. Now she's a hothead princess who got pissed and hit him and then left him there. I can send you some real good podcasts. And she thought Karen was innocent for a long time, and she's been following us from day one. And now I'm like, I'm so confused. I don't know what. Like, I don't know what to believe.
Morgan
Podcasts and documentaries are just. It's just tough because they're all one sided.
Eddie
Yes, I know.
Morgan
It's just hard to know who you're believed.
Bobby Bones
But regardless of if she did it or not, there's no way she'd be found guilty.
Eddie
Right, right, right, right, right. I agree with you so much shadiness.
Bobby Bones
From what the cops did.
Eddie
But I still want to know.
Bobby Bones
Also, if you were smart and you were making a podcast, you would do it. You would zag while everybody else is zigging and everybody right now zigging is that Karen Reed didn't do it. Like, that's the general consensus of TikTok podcast. And you want to get views. You find that what the prosecution is doing and you focus on that.
Eddie
Oh, not even do it.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I don't know. I'm just saying, if I were strategically trying to come up with a podcast, I'd zig where everybody else zagged and I would do the opposite.
Eddie
Oh, Smart. I just was like, she's just been following it for way longer than I have. And I'm like, oh, dang, you're. You're switching teams.
Morgan
You can zig back, too, and make up a whole other person.
Bobby Bones
Well, you can just zig back anyway and be like, oh, never mind. I was wrong. Sorry about that.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
That's the ultimate zig back. Yeah.
Eddie
Hey, wait. In the top 10. My basketball didn't make it. I worked hard on that.
Bobby Bones
Nope, not yet.
Eddie
Not yet.
Morgan
And your basketball never sold. So sorry. Charity. I told you, you are spot on, dude.
Bobby Bones
Nobody wants it.
Eddie
No, they did.
Bobby Bones
Second, nobody.
Eddie
Well, they wanted it originally, but he. I told him, ignore this guy. It's a scam, and go with the other person. And Eddie's like, no, I'm going to give him a chance.
Morgan
He responded to all my stuff.
Bobby Bones
And I told you that if you don't get it from the first person, the moment has passed. And the second person you go to never wants.
Morgan
What is that? What's the psychology behind that?
Bobby Bones
Because you get excited in the moment and you're trying to win something, and then you didn't get it. And also you're farther away from the actual event. So. And you've had clarity.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And you're like, ah, that's kind of stupid of me to pay that. So.
Morgan
Yeah, no, I'm sorry, Amy. You know who suffers? The kids.
Eddie
Yeah, I know. It was not the basketball for the orphanage in Haiti. So that's why I thought even the psychology would be like, oh, cool, I'm getting the ball.
Bobby Bones
And it's probably the guy who choked the ovan.
Morgan
Probably same dude. Winnie the Pooh.
Bobby Bones
I had to guess.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
A list of the funniest town names throughout the United States. Big Bottom, Washington. Kind of funny. Sleepy Eye, Minnesota. Dumber, New Hampshire. Hoho, Cus, New Jersey. I've heard of Consequences. New Mexico. I believe. A wrestler with some consequences. New Mexico.
Morgan
You can ask a.
Bobby Bones
Reminderville, Ohio. Bird in hand, Pennsylvania. Bald Head, Maine. That's kind of funny. Scratch ankle, Alabama. That's a good one. I wonder why they called it scratch ankle. There's a town called Unalaska, Alaska.
Morgan
Who's from Mick Foley.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah, yeah. Cactus Jack, probably.
Morgan
Cactus Jack, Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Lovelock, Nevada. Normal, Alabama. Accident, Maryland. That's kind of funny. Sandwich, Massachusetts. Massachusetts. Lick Skillet, Alabama.
Morgan
I like that one.
Bobby Bones
And then a town that we used to go through a lot. Wiener, Arkansas.
Morgan
Really?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. It's near Jonesboro.
Eddie
Every time you'd be like, where are you from? Wiener.
Morgan
You Live in Wiener.
Bobby Bones
And it wasn't pronounced Winer. Yeah, it was pronounced Wiener. And you know what their school mascot was? The Shafts.
Eddie
No, it was not.
Morgan
No, he's serious, Amy.
Bobby Bones
We used to play him.
Ray
That's terrible.
Bobby Bones
Hey. Hard team to be.
Eddie
You're joking, though.
Ray
Oh, my gosh.
Morgan
Oh, my gosh.
Ray
Oh, boy.
Morgan
I'm, like, not adding anything to that, I guess.
Eddie
I don't. I can't tell if you're serious or not.
Morgan
No, he's serious.
Bobby Bones
No.
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
They weren't the witch, but it's funny either way. Like, it's funny if that really was it. And it's funny if you're making it up.
Bobby Bones
I was making it up.
Morgan
What was the mascot?
Bobby Bones
Well, it was a rocket.
Eddie
Little balls.
Bobby Bones
No, it was a rocket. Oh, yeah. You can't do little balls. That's too much. That's too on the nose.
Eddie
Well, my high school mascot was a furry ball.
Bobby Bones
Yes, but your mascot was also not.
Eddie
It was a spirit.
Bobby Bones
Sexual in name.
Morgan
You were a Maroon, right?
Ray
Yeah.
Eddie
Austin High Maroons. Yeah, we were a Spirit.
Ray
I was a Trojan.
Eddie
That's weird.
Morgan
He collects.
Bobby Bones
No, Trojans are good. Usa.
Eddie
No, I know, I know. But in high school, we would make fun of them, though. Cause, like, Trojan condoms.
Bobby Bones
No, we got. We get it.
Morgan
You're the Mountain Pine.
Bobby Bones
We're the Red Devils.
Morgan
Red Devils.
Bobby Bones
And our whole school was small. And I know somebody at the newspaper was screwing with this, but when I was in, like, seventh grade, they would write out every full school population or enroll, attendance, and for kindergarten through 12th grade, they wrote, the Mountain Pine Red Devils had a total of 666 students.
Morgan
Okay.
Bobby Bones
They wrote in the paper.
Morgan
666.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, they had to take down the. When they wrote that, they had to take down the big mural that we had of a big, mean red Devil because people started to go, that school Satanic. Satanic, because we're already Red Devils. But who cares? They're the Blue Devils.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
Was there anything weird?
Bobby Bones
Tasmanian Devil. Well, yeah, in seventh grade, we had to learn about Satan.
Morgan
That wasn't weird at all.
Eddie
In seventh grade when we played Porter Middle School, the cheerleaders would go pms. I thought that was funny.
Bobby Bones
Ray, play me. Voicemail number two. When is dude news gonna come back? Or should I say dude news? Anyway, we just did it back. Okay, love you. Bye. Yeah, we just kind of did it. We can bring it back next week, though. Save this voicemail. We'll do it to lead into it. Let's do. Give me. I don't remember this Give me four.
Amy
I am currently on my way to be a part of our honor flight that we do for our veterans here in our area. And I just wanted to say good morning. And I listen to you guys every day and you live my spirits and make me happy, and I feel like you're my friends. I've been listening forever.
Bobby Bones
So I just wanted to say have a good day. Thank you. Appreciate that.
Ray
What's an honor flight?
Bobby Bones
That's a great question. I've been on before. No, I don't know. I could be wrong. I've been on flights before where they have a whole bunch of veterans from a certain area that come in and everybody, like, is there to applaud them when they come off.
Morgan
That's cool.
Bobby Bones
Could be a completely different thing, but I've been on a flight where a bunch of veterans, like, go to D.C. and I'm flying back and there's a whole group of them and there's a bunch of people there waiting for them when they get off. That's what I assumed it was. Might be wrong about that. Oh, yeah, yeah.
Eddie
We've talked about this. And tell me something good before. Yeah, you're right. That's what it is. It's transporting veterans to go to memorials for the respective war they fought in.
Bobby Bones
Got it. I've been on one before, and I got in the middle of it. Received clapping. I was like, thank you. No, I didn't. I was like, let me get out of the way because I want everybody to get theirs. Okay, cool. I think it's it. You guys good? Anything else we forget anybody went all the way around the room?
Morgan
I was at Pearl Harbor.
Bobby Bones
Okay, we got two things here. Eddie, you go first. Go ahead.
Morgan
I was at Pearl harbor on the anniversary, just visiting. It's pretty crazy to see, like, on December 2nd. 7th. 7th, December 7th and 1941, there were a bunch of American veterans and Japanese veterans and.
Bobby Bones
Oh, dang.
Morgan
It was pretty crazy, like, and everyone's just, you know, talking to each other, hugging each other, taking pictures with each other. Not like enemies, but just, like, humans. It's pretty cool.
Bobby Bones
That's pretty cool. December 7, 1941.
Morgan
I would have thought, like, that's crazy. You see someone that wanted to kill you how many years ago, and now they're here as an old person, and you're like, hey, man, we're cool. Like, there's nothing against us.
Bobby Bones
Early on a Sunday morning, Japanese fighter planes, bombers, and torpedo planes launched a surprise assault. They destroyed or damaged over 300 US aircraft, eight battleships, and killed over 2400Americans. The attack lasted about two hours. Japan did it. Because Japan was expanding its empire into Asia and the Pacific, the US had imposed economic sanctions, including cutting off oil supplies to Japan. Japan saw war with the US as inevitable, wanted to cripple the Pacific fleet to buy time to strengthen their position, which is why they went to Hawaii closest to.
Morgan
And what did that do?
Bobby Bones
What do you mean?
Morgan
It woke up a sleeping giant. Oh, yeah, that's what they said.
Bobby Bones
They said that there FDR said that he also that said dates that lived Niphimi.
Morgan
That's it?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Morgan, what were you saying?
Abby
I got an exciting text. My foster dog is pending adoption. Trial.
Bobby Bones
Trial. She didn't care and read a trial.
Eddie
Run or like a murder trial.
Bobby Bones
Is your dog Karen Reed? No. What do you mean, trial? What's that mean?
Abby
So they do like an adoption trial. And see, because he's. He's a special little guy and has some doggy ptsd. So we got to make sure it's the right fit. So they'll go and take him home for a couple weeks and see how it goes.
Morgan
A trial period. Not like a court trial.
Bobby Bones
They don't read like text messages.
Abby
Sorry. Loosely said the word trial.
Bobby Bones

Notable Quote:
Ray [05:58]: "Why not, like, do something crazy and donate a certain amount to every individual in the United States? Everybody would get $10 million."
The hosts quickly correct this misconception, performing quick calculations to reveal that the actual distribution would equate to approximately $11.76 per person in the U.S., given a $4 billion sale of the Portland Trailblazers and a population of 340 million.
Bobby [06:35]: "4 billion divided by 340 million people equals 11.76. That literally means $11.76."

Initial Discussion:
Morgan [31:22]: "I remember sitting on her couch and asking her, is this real?"
As the conversation unfolds, the hosts express mixed feelings—sympathy for Theo due to the overwhelming nature of public interactions and disdain for the fan's intrusive actions.
Bobby [34:03]: "And I'm like, one more time. That's the throat, dude."
They critique the fan for touching Theo multiple times despite his clear desire to remain unbothered, labeling the behavior as inappropriate and reckless.
Theo Von's Account:
Theo Von provides his perspective, explaining that the interaction began with a friendly suggestion to pop balloons but escalated unexpectedly.
Theo Von [40:41]: "I was waiting my turn to talk to him. Everybody was all just standing around having fun, having a good time. Nobody was bothering anybody."
The hosts unanimously condemn the fan's actions, emphasizing the importance of respecting personal boundaries, especially in high-pressure environments like live events.
