App Lots to say With Bobby Bones and Matt Castle is a production of the NFL and iHeart podcasts. We got lots to say.
Bobby Bones
We got.
Kevin
Lots to say.
Brandon Ray
We'Re glad you're here.
Kevin
And we hope you stay Cause we got lots to say yeah, we got lots to say now here's Bobby and Matt. Did you know there will be NFL Football Month?
Bobby Bones
I'm so excited.
Kevin
Crazy. It's July and I feel like this is the deadest time for all sports.
Bobby Bones
It is so dead right now.
Kevin
Yeah, you know, baseball is entering the second half and most people don't even care about baseball. But it's like the middle. There's no basketball. College football's media days are happening, but NFL July 31? The hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio? It'll have the Lions and the Chargers. When preseason started for you guys, did you play early? Did you play at all? Like, what was it back then? The hall of Fame game? Seems like everybody's just begging to get hurt. So they don't play anybody.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, nobody played in that hall of Fame game because again, the teams that played in the hall of Fame game had five preseason games instead of the normal four that we used to have. So a lot of times you see those starters play a series and usually as it goes in preseason. Back then it was first. First game, the stars would play about maybe a quarter or two series, then all of a sudden the second preseason game to the half third preseason game. They treated it more like a real game where they would play a full half and then come back out for at Least a drive in the third quarter, and that's just conditioning, getting your body ready to go. But then the fourth game is when they usually sit starters.
Kevin
It seems a bit early for a game, though, considering camps are just happening at that time. Do they start earlier to get the hall of Fame game going like those two?
Bobby Bones
They get to report earlier to camp, so they actually have to go to camp earlier, which is kind of.
Kevin
I think that kind of sucks.
Bobby Bones
That sucks.
Kevin
Yeah, it kind of sucks.
Bobby Bones
I'm actually going to go. And Jared Allen, obviously, he's been on our show, my friend, he's getting inducted in the hall of Fame. So he asked me if I'd go up and he's having a little party the night before, so I'm going to go up for the hall of Fame ceremony, which would be really cool. That is great.
Kevin
Him, that. But he's so pumped.
Bobby Bones
Oh, he's so fired up, man. And he deserves it. And he's been waiting for quite some time. I think that there was a possibility that he was going to be a first ballot, and then he got looked over the next year and. But as when you hear him talk, obviously he knows all of his stats and knows what he was capable of and what he achieved in the NFL, and now it's all come to fruition for him.
Kevin
And if you go back, you can see our interview with Jared. You can listen to it, whatever, however you want to consume it. But we did an hour with Jared and I led it with like, dude, why aren't you in the hall of Fame?
Bobby Bones
I know you just went right there and you kind of was like, oh, really? Okay.
Kevin
Well, no, I was just confused because he had all the numbers right. He had the big personality. Those two should have married each other. And I felt like he should have already been in the hall of Fame, and I wanted to know his thoughts on why he wasn't. Turns out a few months later, smash cut, he got put into the hall of Fame. So some would say that is the reverse curse of coming on this show.
Bobby Bones
That's right. You're going to go to a Hall of Fame.
Kevin
The reverse.
Bobby Bones
We've already got one hall of Fame permanently embedded in this show.
Kevin
That's me.
Bobby Bones
And now every time somebody is up for a Hall of Fame, they're going to be put in there.
Kevin
Let's go over to kickoff, Kevin. Kickoff. How you doing, buddy?
Brandon Ray
Yeah, I'm doing good. How you guys doing?
Kevin
We're doing good. What do you have for us over there?
Brandon Ray
I wanted to run through some of the Biggest question marks heading into each training camp. Not each training camp, but training camp in general.
Kevin
Okay.
Brandon Ray
Okay, so the first question here, talking about the jets and Justin Fields, is this his last chance to make or break his career?
Bobby Bones
I think it is. You know, you go to Chicago, which is somewhat of an organization in disarray, struggled his first year out. Obviously you're a rookie so you're expected to struggle with a bad team. So don't get it wrong. But he played well last year for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He won what, four, four of the four games that he started. But again now you're with another organization, new offense, new personnel around you and people want to see this guy show promise in a very productive way. And I don't think he's always been put in a great situation. I don't think this is the best situation for him. But he's going to be asked to win a lot of ball games for a team that's going to need good quarterback play this year.
Kevin
I think he's been put in weird situations everywhere he's been and that's not an excuse. But he had a defensive coach in Chicago and obviously that entire organization was in disarray for all those years.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Kevin
Hence the change over to Ben Johnson being the head coach this year. I think he goes to Pittsburgh and he's at least in a system that has some consistency. But he played a few games, Russ ended up being the starter and they would put Justin Fields in just to run the ball.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Kevin
So it wasn't even that they had a lot of faith in Justin Fields as the future because they put Russ in the new. Russ wasn't the answer.
Bobby Bones
Right. And they're both on those one year deals.
Kevin
And so now he's going to the jets and I have no confidence in the jets just based on the history of the Jets.
Bobby Bones
Right. And they've got a new head coach with Aaron Glenn. You don't know. He's again defensive minded. Guy got a new offensive coordinator now. They do have some pieces. Breeze hall in the back, backfield. You've got Garrett Wilson on the outside. That's an absolute stud. So they've got some players, I think that. But they're more defensive oriented than they are offense.
Kevin
Yeah. What'll be interesting is if he does not have. He just needs a good year, a good year to go another year. If he has a mid to below, he'll just be a backup forever.
Bobby Bones
Right. He needs to have a good solid year to prove that he can build on that and be a guy that they bring back and say, hey, he showed us that he has the potential to be the face of this franchise. And now we gotta surround him with more talent and put pieces around him for him to be successful on a consistent basis.
Kevin
Yeah. So I think a good year. Better than pretty good. Good. But he doesn't have to be great in order to get another year. And also, if he starts, he's usually a pretty solid second fantasy quarterback to have because of the running yards that he gets. I don't want him to be my guy. If he's your guy, you're probably going to be struggling on your fantasy team, but he's a good backup to have if your guy goes down and you need a couple weeks or a bye week. Yeah.
Brandon Ray
Big bye week guy.
Kevin
Were you used and did you play fantasy football while you were in the NFL?
Bobby Bones
I'd never played fantasy football. I didn't even pick up fantasy football probably until about three years ago when my son Clay, his flag football teams, the dads and the kids all got together and we did a fantasy draft. And then I'm. Now I'm addicted because it's fun. But to go on, see who's playing, you know, all of a sudden you're saying, this guy might be out this week. So you got to make a few subtle changes here. There. Some guys want to make a trade for certain guys or a player gets hot. So it's fun. Just from that aspect of knowing personnel and then having. Now my son has no idea. And I think some of these dads really take it seriously. First draft, I had, I drafted Patrick Mahomes right away because we had the first pick overall. And Clay, my son, really wanted Patrick Mahomes. And everybody's like, quarterback, first round. I'm like, what are you talking about? Patrick Mahomes took Travis Kelsey with my second pick. They're like, what are you doing? Everybody's taking, like, the running backs, wide receivers. I had no idea. Yeah. I was like, you know what? I. I'm doing it for my son. It's not for me. They're, like, on there doing the algorithm, setting it up, know exactly who they want to go after. We actually ended up doing fine that year, but some of these teams were just loaded, and I had no idea.
Kevin
The thing about fantasy that's fun is that it makes you care about the Seahawks and Rams in week four when you just wouldn't, like. It wouldn't even be a game. Were people referencing fantasy football to you while you played?
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah, all the time. People come up and say, dude, I got you on my fantasy team, or, bro, I got you on my fantasy.
Kevin
Team after the game. All right, next. Next question.
Brandon Ray
Kevin, let's go over to Detroit and Dan Campbell. Do you think he can succeed without both coordinators?
Bobby Bones
I do. I really do. I think that they hired from within, so guys that already know the system, so the system's not going to change. You got Jared Goff, you got Jameer Gibbs in the backfield. So they, they've got one of the best offensive lines. And now defensively, they're getting their dudes coming back. And that was the biggest issue for this team last year, is defensively, just how many people went down. They're playing with second, third string guys all year. So if they can bring those guys back and stay healthy and pick up where they left off, they're going to be fine.
Kevin
Question about when coordinators move on to other jobs, especially head coaching jobs. Do you know if the new coordinators ever call the old coordinators that are the head coaches to go, hey, can I get a little help here? Like a little advice? Because there have been people that have reached out to me after I've left a position, like I was on a TV show for a long time. I won't say which one I left. And the person that came in after me called and was like, hey, what do I do here? Or how would you deal with this person? It wasn't about how to actually do the job, but it was much more about what's happening inside the organization.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Kevin
Do you think that happens at all?
Bobby Bones
I definitely think it happens because it's an incestuous group of guys that all know each other or there's a family lineage coming up, and so they'll call each other all the time and get information. Especially if you're not in the same division, if you're. You're not competing against one another, but if you have a friendship, then it would be like me calling you and asking you advice on something. And they're more than willing probably to do it because they've been in the same position.
Kevin
What if I was the head coach of the Bears, though, and you were the new offensive coordinator?
Bobby Bones
Lions. I don't think that there's going to be a lot of conversation. That's what I was going to say. Outside the division is one thing. Inside the division where you're going to be rivals and competing for a division championship or for a title, there's no chance they're calling and trying to sway, I mean, influence each other One way or another.
Kevin
I think that Dan Campbell gets a lot of credit because he had two great coordinators, but I think they don't. Sometimes they don't credit Dan Campbell for actually making, giving the coordinators those jobs.
Bobby Bones
Right? And Ben Johnson, you didn't know who Ben Johnson was until Dan Campbell came in and gave him that opportunity. He saw something in Ben Johnson and gave him that opportunity. And that's why Ben Johnson rose through the ranks and now is the head coach for the Chicago Bears. So he definitely deserves credit for seeing the talent and that type of personality is going to be a fit for.
Kevin
What they do, offensive and defensive, right? Like, he had to make the decision to hire those two coaches. And I think a lot of times people will go, well, yeah, when you have two great coordinators, obviously your team is going to be amazing. But what doesn't happen sometimes people go, man, Dan Campbell found great coordinators, made that work and we believe he could do it again.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Kevin
And so I do think it's a mix. I think they'll be good again. I think they've set, they're set up for this year, personnel wise, as you said. And I think he's.
Bobby Bones
He.
Kevin
His players really like him, but I don't think he's a full players coach. I think he's that kind of hybrid. The players like him, but they also respect him because he has a culture.
Bobby Bones
He has a culture and he sets a tone and it's about physicality, it's about violence, it's about biting kneecaps, as he would say. But he's also relatable because he also played in the league and he played.
Kevin
Offense, which is so weird because he does not look like an offensive.
Bobby Bones
No, he looks like a three technique and gonna spit on your palm when you're getting in your three point stance and gonna come after you and try to you.
Kevin
All right, next one up, Kevin, what.
Brandon Ray
Do you think the Cowboys are going.
Kevin
To do at running back what they did last year? They're just going to mix and match. They're going to grab, they're going to make a quilt, right? Like, what else are they? They have retreads from everywhere, right?
Bobby Bones
When you have CD Lamb and you've got now George Pickens, George Pickens out there, they're going to want to throw the football to open up the run game. And so they're going to have running back by committee and whoever's hot, they're going to play the hot hand and supplement the run game with the pass game. And Dak Prescott. That's what I feel like they're going.
Kevin
To do by committee. Just, I won't say doesn't work, but it is not highly effective.
Bobby Bones
Constantly you've got to have a dude. And you also have to understand the type of running back that you have because a guy like Derek Henry, he was always a volume guy. If you didn't get him involved early and give him at least 20 touches in a game, he would have a slow start. Because when I first got to Tennessee, he was split in time and he would never get the amount of touches to really explode on the scene, so to speak. But then all of a sudden the second year he took over full responsibility of that position and you just saw him go bananas on everybody because as the game wore on and because of the style of play that he plays with, he just wear on you, wear you down. And then that's when the 60 yarder would hit.
Kevin
Let's look at the depth chart here. And there's not really a depth chart. There's mostly who's going to play. So Javante Williams comes over and he's good, but he's coming off an injury.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, right.
Kevin
And so a knee injury. Do you even know what you're getting at least to start? It's not an Achilles. That'd be a tough one to come back from.
Bobby Bones
That'd be a tough one to come back.
Kevin
But. So you have Javante Williams, you have Miles Sanders again, he's just another guy. He's another guy, Jaden Blue, who can catch the ball, who played at Texas, but again, really fast, unproven NFL. There's a reason he wasn't taken in the first round. Not that a lot of running backs are. But you do see that with guys that come in like you talked about for the Lions a second ago, like they Jibbs Gibbs gets drafted in the first round, obviously they're going to play the crap out of him. But he was by committee or at least he was one of two backs.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Wasn't it David Montgomery back who got hurt late in the season? But they were, they were going by committee as well, taking hits off each other.
Kevin
Induce Vaughn.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, well, I think also Brian Schadenheimer is a guy that's been an offensive coordinator for his entire career leading up to this opportunity as a head coach. He understands personnel. So a lot of when you watch the Dallas Cowboys offense and how they operate, they're going to use those guys to their skill set. So a lot of those guys might be third down backs or guys that are going to be used in situational football where they want to get the ball to them in a screen game and not always just be downhill runner. So it's going to say what value do you have? And you add to this offense and what we're trying to do to attack the defense.

Kevin
Next question.
Brandon Ray
Who do you guys think will start Week one for the Colts? Anthony Richardson or Daniel Jones?
Kevin
Daniel Jones is almost a lock, right?
Bobby Bones
I feel like Daniel Jones has kind of now emerged as the front runner. With Anthony Richardson being out with a shoulder injury, having kind of the up and down. They're going to give Daniel Jones an opportunity to come in and seize this opportunity to be the starting quarterback. And I think that he deserves an opportunity. He's been there all offseason. He's obviously impressed the coaching staff. He's a veteran guy that's been through it and I think he got the short end of the stick when he was with the Giants. We talked about that before.
Kevin
Yeah. And you know why? Because he was with the Giants.
Brandon Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Kevin
I think Daniel Jones seems like he's 45 years old because we've been talking about him forever. He's 28.
Bobby Bones
He's 28. Isn't he like in his fifth year?
Kevin
So he's a, he's a young quarterback that was in one of those situations and he got a big contract because he had a decent year in his contract.
Bobby Bones
That's right.
Kevin
So I do think he has a chance to really thrive with the Colts. And I think Richardson, if he does not get a shot to play, he'll be traded and be a high upside guy for the next team until he doesn't succeed again, and then he'll just be a backup forever.
Bobby Bones
And the nice part about it too is Anthony Richardson's on his rookie contract, so he's not getting paid astronomically. And they can give Daniel Jones an opportunity. If for some reason that doesn't work out, they can always return back to Anthony Richardson, let him sit, learn behind a guy like Daniel Jones, understand the game maybe a little bit better, and get back out there when he's healthy.
Kevin
Anthony Richardson's 23, so in five years we'll have this conversation about Anthony Richardson. Like we're doing Daniel Jones when Anthony Richardson is going to be the starter. Finally.
Brandon Ray
Can't believe he's only 23.
Kevin
Well, he came out of college.
Brandon Ray
He's super young.
Kevin
Super young and. And not a lot of starts either.
Brandon Ray
Yeah, right.
Bobby Bones
He only played for one year at Florida.
Brandon Ray
Yeah.
Kevin
So you're looking at a guy who is way young, but we talk about them a lot, so they seem a lot older just because of the time we've spent with them. And so I think Anthony Richardson ends up being the backup. If Daniel Jones gets hurt, which he has before, he'll get some time, but he probably gets traded. He probably goes and wins a job on a bad team and that'll be a shot. It feels like now the formula is get drafted early, play early, you don't play well, you're back up for a while. It's like Justin Fields. Same thing kind of happened with him. You're back up for a while, you prove you're pretty good, and then there's some value there. Either the team goes with you or they trade you for something and then you get one more shot after you're benched. Yes. That feels like the new normal when you draft a quarterback early because rarely do they succeed.
Bobby Bones
It's. It's a rarity. And it's such a hard thing to be able to evaluate quarterbacks coming out because you're evaluating talent, but then you're also evaluating the mental side of it, how they process, how they anticipate and all those things. And the game is so much different when you get to the NFL from the college level, just because of the dynamics of the defense and the sophistication behind it. And so it takes time and it's. You could be the most talented player, but look like an absolute fool out on Sundays just because of how good the defenses are.
Kevin
And I think with CJ Stroud and Jaden Daniels performing at such a high level their rookie years, it makes the comparisons even more harsh whenever you don't do it right because it used to be, well, we got a rookie quarterback, we can't expect much from them. And when they didn't give you much, it was part of the expectation. So you gave him a little more time. But because you see two guys in the last two years play phenomenally their rookie year, it was like when Adrian Peterson got hurt and came back in like a week. He liked, he lost his right leg and came back in a week. And everybody compared, injuries regrew, he's a frigging starfish for 2,000 yards. Everybody was like, well, if Adrian Peterson can, can bounce back that, that quick, I guess I'm supposed to too, right? So that comparison started to be a bit unfair. But I do think Daniel Jones will start. I think Daniel Jones is pretty good. And again, he can run, he can move, he can.
Bobby Bones
He is a dual threat quarterback, there's no doubt about it. Now, you're not probably going to put him on a bunch of these read options, zone read plays, but you can do enough of that to keep the defense honest and play, make them play 11 on 11 football to open up other things as well.
Kevin
All right, what you got?
Brandon Ray
All right, let's stay on quarterbacks. Is J.J. mcCarthy going to be ready?
Kevin
And I'll let you take the most of this since you know that scheme and you know the head coach, which is Kevin o'. Connell. I feel like that system has the quarterback ready.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Kevin
And that system puts the quarterback in a place to be ready and to be really good. Your thoughts because you're more educated in this.
Bobby Bones
Well, he's going to get the hell coach out of him. Won by Kevin o'. Connell. He's a quarterback guru and we've seen it with anybody that stepped in that building. But then you add Justin Jefferson, Addison, you've got so many pieces out there that you have to work with a good offensive line and you can run the football as well. And also Kevin understands your strengths and weaknesses. And that's the biggest part about why he's so good at what he does is he puts you in a position to be successful and he makes sure that you understand the game plan. And so I believe that he's going to be ready to go out there and operate at a high level because I watched this kid when I was in covering college football when he was at Michigan, and this, he can make all the throws, he's got a strong arm, he's mobile. He can run the football as well if need be. So you're getting kind of carbon copy of what you had last year with Sam Darnold. Maybe a little bit more athletic without the experience. However, I do believe last year, sitting out watching that, being in those meetings, understanding what you need to do on a day to day basis and also understanding the totality of the offense because you're in those meetings every day for an entire year and able to digest that that will help J.J. mcCarthy going into this year.
Kevin
What about that system makes quarterbacks successful?
Bobby Bones
Well, I think Kevin does a really good job because I've been up to their facility and got to sit in some of the meetings where he's very descriptive. It's not just how we're going to do it, it's the why behind it and it's the check with me system as well. So if a D when I say check with me system, you might have two plays in a huddle and one might be a man beater, one might be a zone. All of a sudden they motion to one side and that's your indicator that it's man versus now you're checking to your best man beater because you know it's man defense. And so you're already in an advantageous position because you're running a man beater against man defense or your zone beater versus zone defense. And he has a way of simplifying what you're trying to do to not overcomplicate it in the quarterback's head. And when you can play fast at the quarterback position, when you can process quickly and, and have confidence in that, you're normally going to be pretty successful.
Kevin
So when I walked in, you were talking about playing golf with Tanya, who I had him on fantasy team, speaking of fantasy for a couple times and he would catch touchdowns.
Bobby Bones
Oh, he had like 10 touchdowns in one year. And I think it was 2020 or something like that when he was with Green Bay.
Kevin
But how do you know him?
Bobby Bones
You know what, this is the first time I met him. I got invited by my buddy Jeb Beasley to go out to Hillwood yesterday and they had played previously. So Robert had come out and a few other guys. Of course. This is a funny story. So I get there, I'm scrambling around. I had to drop off the kids at school with my wife and I get to the golf course, I get to my trunk and I open it up. Completely forgot to bring my golf clubs. I thought that they were in the back of my truck. So I Had to walk in and be like, yeah, do you guys have rental clubs? Because I live in Franklin, there's no chance I'm going to get back, so borrowed some rental clubs. But I'm pretty impressed with the fact that I did shoot. I think it was an 84 or 85. And those clubs might be better than the ones that I have, so I'm definitely going to get those. But how about Robert Tunion goes out there. This dude's cool as hell. I mean, great guy. He's about to leave to go to camp with the Chiefs, and guy shoots a 75. Wow. He. I guess he's a 7 or something like that. He said, I never broke 80. At this. This course, I'm usually about 80, 81. I've always wanted to break 80. Guy goes out and shoots a 75. He was on fire, hitting fairways, long putts. He had like three or four birdies. I was like, what is going on right now?
Kevin
What's his build like?
Bobby Bones
He's a big dude. He's probably 236, 5, 235, 240, something like that. He looks like he's pretty athletic.
Kevin
Does he look like a lineman or is he like a tight end? A tight end?
Bobby Bones
He looks like a pure tight end. He kind of has that ability to put his hand on the ground, be able to block at the end of the line of scrimmage, like defensive ends. But at the same time, you could tell he's also one of those builds that's going to go out and he can break you down as a wide receiver.
Kevin
How do you feel about playing golf with new people?
Bobby Bones
I don't mind it. I. You know what? I just like giving people crap, to be honest with you. And it kind of breaks the tension a little bit because sometimes you get out there and people are too stuffy, and I don't take golf too seriously. There's guys that I've played with where it's my first time out with them, but they're like, you know, they feel like they hit it off the toe and they're like, oh, but it's dead straight. And you're like, oh, okay, guy, save it. You're not on the Tour, right? I don't care whether you shoot a 72, but let's have a good time, a good conversation. Every now and then you run into those guys that are way too serious, that it's hard to even talk to them on the course. But I just like to have a good time and get to Know people.
Kevin
I feel like I need a first good couple of holes with people that I don't know and I don't mind sucking later as long as they don't think I suck from the start.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's true. You want to get off to a good start.
Kevin
I don't want them to feel like, oh, God, this whole round is going to be like this with this guy.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Kevin
Like if I shank a couple in the woods at the very beginning. Oh, it's tough.
Bobby Bones
That was really. That was my first tee box yesterday. I skyrocket. One into the other fairway, two off the first tee, of course. Next one, dribble it right over the top, just right past the lady's tea. I was like, really?
Kevin
I'm glad to hear that.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it felt great.
Kevin
Then I don't feel so alone.
Bobby Bones
I. I pulled it together after that, but I mean, first tee, just. I felt like just a dog.
Kevin
The worst, too, is if you get out there and you can't warm up.
Bobby Bones
And I didn't warm up. I was more panicked by the fact that I was a little bit frazzled that I forgot my own clubs. We went in, got a little quick bite to eat, hit some putts, and then it was on the course. So I was like, okay, this feels pretty good in my hand. Let's try this.
Kevin
Yeah. And I don't even think warming up makes me better. I think it's just in my head, it's almost a placebo. If I get out and warm up, if I hit a couple good ones in a row, I'm like, oh, I got it. I'm just gonna. I'm just gonna hold off. I'm good to go. And let's get on the course for sure. Where if I hit none, it probably is no different. I suck regardless, so. But yeah, if I get. We played a couple weeks ago and there was no warmup, and I'm already in my head, I'm like, I got no warm up to me four holes before I get warm. I did invite you to come play today, and you turned us down.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I had to turn you down. Unfortunately, my. You know, my wife is traveling back to California because her grandmother, who's 93, 94, is not doing well. So she's going to go back and make sure that she. She sees her and spends.
Kevin
You don't have to guilt me. You can just say, I just want to let you. I mean, I just want to let.
Bobby Bones
You know I had a slide in the.
Kevin
Grandma, like, really Grandma said, I mean.
Brandon Ray
Bro, like, like you're on him.
Kevin
I didn't even, I was like, hey, we're gonna play. I know it's last minute. We're gonna hit it in like two. And he's like, hey, can't come kids. I was like, cool. I didn't even say anything back. Like, come on, man, you suck.
Bobby Bones
Oh, he did. He's like, who cares about your kids? They're old enough to watch each other.
Kevin
Are they? The oldest one is old enough to watch the youngest one.
Bobby Bones
She's 15. Yeah, I got, I got a sophomore, I got an eighth grader. But they wouldn't know what to do with each other because the 7 and 9 year old would run the house. Just not listen to anything that they're older.
Brandon Ray
There's just so many of them.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, well, there's five.
Kevin
Yeah. Question. What's the grocery bill like?
Bobby Bones
Oh, it's astronomical. How you a grocery bill think about doordash when like you, you run around the sports doing all this and you're like, oh, okay, See? And if you don't hit a chick fil a and you get home in time to do like a doordash a decent. I mean, you're talking about $120 every time because you're buying food or entrees for seven people. And at least five of these people in my family eat like adults.
Kevin
And you also have to tip and you also got to pay delivery fee.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah, it's, it's real. I did order like, and this is just dumb. When I ordered the other night, I ordered sushi. And you know, sushi, it's always one of those things that you're looking at the menu and you're still hungry and you're going, oh, is that enough rolls? Yeah, it was like $200 for sushi. I was like, what am I doing?
Kevin
And you always get more than you need 100%, which means you pay more, which means then you do get full and then, then you can't like keep that for two days.
Bobby Bones
No, you put it in there. Like, I'll eat that tomorrow.
Kevin
And you never eat. It's all weird.
Brandon Ray
You throw it away two days later.
Kevin
Yeah, it's all weird.
Matt Castle

If you have the cash, you can own Darth Vader's original lightsaber. If you are a Star wars fan or if you just want to invest in some memorabilia. They are auctioning off Star wars original lightsaber and they think It'll be around 3 million bucks.
Bobby Bones
3 million.
Kevin
I've never seen Star wars and I'm not anti Star wars, right? I'm not really anti anything anymore because I have really nerdy things that I love that people kind of. I can't believe you like that. So have at it. Lord of the Rings. Have at it. I'm not gonna make fun of you. Cause I like Game of Thrones and really what's the difference, right? So Khaleesi? Yeah, what's the difference?
Bobby Bones
You gotta love those dragons.
Kevin
But 3 million bucks, dude, like you're getting that. If you just have play money like so much, you need to have at least $500 million to buy that for 3 million.
Bobby Bones
I want a toy for $3 million. And you better be a serious Star wars fan.
Kevin
It would not be touched because it's a $3 million investment. You would just put that probably in a safe or it would be part of a museum type presentation at your mega mansion.
Bobby Bones
I would have to see like who, what type of clientele and how many people would go and actually bid on a $3 million lightsaber.
Kevin
I would think with a lot of this movie memorabilia, a lot of times it can be like private equity that buys really expensive things to resell it later. So that happens a lot. Or you could be like Jim Irsay who had a museum of guitars from really famous people. I mean, he would go and buy million dollar guitars and he would travel around because he loved it so much and show people the Jim Irsay Traveling Museum.
Bobby Bones
That's unbelievable. I went to this one private sports museum. The guy privately owned this thing and it was in la. He had a Babe Ruth original jersey worn in one of these special games. Hank Aaron. I mean the Memorabilia collection was mind boggling. He had this massive warehouse down in la and we got to walk through it because it was a friend of my wife's family. And I walked through it and I was blown away about how much memorabilia had. But I can only imagine how much that collection was worth.
Kevin
There was a story last week and you may have seen it, but this guy who runs, I think it's called like Mr. Man Cave, he was dead apparent a self inflicted wound. And he had posted on Facebook before he shot himself what he did that he had forged about 300 to $400 million worth of jerseys. It was a lot of Patrick Mahomes, a lot of Aaron Judge. And they went and raided his warehouse as well and they found another couple hundred million dollars in fake, fake cards, signed.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Kevin
Fake uniforms, all. All this. He had made hundreds of millions of dollars.
Brandon Ray
350.
Bobby Bones
350 million.
Kevin
Do you see the story?
Brandon Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Why wouldn't you just shut it down at like 50, more than 50? That's how I feel about how much.
Kevin
You get away with four bank robberies. Like, don't go for five. Like you got four. Eventually they're gonna catch you.
Bobby Bones
The Casey Wolf guy. Yeah, like, hey, eventually they're gonna catch you. Even though you did a good job of evading the police for a long period of time. But how much money do you need after you've already. You've won, you've won. Even if it's 10 million you've won, you've won. If they're not suspicious.
Brandon Ray
Has nothing to do with money at that point.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. 350.
Kevin
Or does it have only to do with money? Because you're so obsessed with money now and that you see all the things that you can buy? Because again, he was, I went to the website. He's like, what he. What he had because he was very successful because he had all this. Patrick Mahomes, but it wasn't real. He was like the number one seller of framed signed jerseys.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Kevin
And he had sold, as you said, $350 million worth. And they found another and you may see the actual number because they were on it, meaning they had been investigating him for a while, which I think is why he ended up killing himself. And so he said what he did, posted it and I think just killed himself because then they found him and then they found all of the other signed stuff that he hadn't sold in that. So if you have a lot of stuff now, you bought it from him. It's probably fake.
Bobby Bones
That sucks.
Kevin
And the market's saturated with thousands, millions of dollars.
Bobby Bones
Now you got a signature. You got to question everyone that you see.
Kevin
And that's a pretty easy signature to forge. I watched this whole TikTok on a guy that went to jail because he was convicted of fraud, because he had. He had run an operation kind of like this, not as big. And he talked about the ones that he could easily do and the ones that he wouldn't do because they were so hard. And the ones he wouldn't do were like Derek Jeter, because Derek Jeter made a lot of loops.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Kevin
It was like one motion. You kind of couldn't tell where it started and stopped. Another one was Ken Griffey Jr. And the other one was Ichiro.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, Ichiro would probably be a hard one to do. He probably had some.
Kevin
Yeah, there were definitely some Asian influence in his signing.
Bobby Bones
Exactly. That's what I'm saying. Like penmanship.
Kevin
Yeah. I have another one here because I think memorabilia is so interesting. I've never seen Citizen Kane, the movie. I think it's black and white. You ever seen that?
Bobby Bones
I don't think I have.
Kevin
It's like, always, like the number one, number two, best movie of all time, Citizen Kane. Never seen it.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Kevin
There's a sled from it, and it's one of the rosebud sleds, and it sold at an auction for $14.75 million.
Bobby Bones
What? $14.75 million?
Kevin
I would think that Darth Vader's original lightsaber would be worth more than a Citizen Kane sled.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Kevin
But I don't know enough about.
Bobby Bones
So are you a movie buff? You gotta be a movie buff.
Kevin
Or again, you're buying it as an investment, thinking it'll go up.
Bobby Bones
Thinking it might go up. But I mean, you're playing with fire at that point.
Kevin
It's $15 million.
Bobby Bones
15 million.
Kevin
And also, people aren't going to think it's that cool because who's seen Citizen Kane?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you've got a sled. What's that Sled? Did you. Is it in the stall?
Kevin
The kids take it out during snow. Let's go sled down the hill.
Bobby Bones
They break it, like, first go.
Brandon Ray
Totally collapses from 1941.
Bobby Bones
Break sleds every year.
Kevin
Have you seen Citizen Kane?
Brandon Ray
Heck, no.
Kevin
It's going to rain here in Nashville again probably today. And I've complained about the rain a couple times. But I'm curious, do you have games in your mind that were so influenced by weather? Like, what comes to mind when I say weather game?
Bobby Bones
First one that comes to mind is Buffalo, the year in 2008 when we played there. It was the end of the season, last game. And I walked in to the night before the game. We would go in, we'd have a quarterback meeting. And normally it was just myself, the other quarterbacks, Josh McDaniels. And we'd go through the game plan, we'd go through the checks and all this stuff. I walk in, there's Coach Belichick. He's never in those meetings. It's usually just the quarterbacks and the quarterback coach. And so he sits down and he goes, matt, we're going to do some different stuff in the game plan. And we had like 120 plays. I mean, we're locked and loaded, ready to rock and roll. And I was like, what are we talking about? He's like, well, we're going to condense this to probably about eight, nine runs and maybe maybe eight, eight passes. I was like, what are you talking about? He's like, the weather's going to be awful. They're predicting 65 mile per hour winds, sleet, maybe some rain. It's going to be cold. And I was like, really? So literally got out on the field for warmups just to go check out the weather conditions. I couldn't throw a ball 10 yards without the wind grabbing it and taking it right down the ground. It was absolutely insane. Insane in terms of the weather. It was cold. They had to hold the goal post up with ropes for the field goals because it was blowing so hard, so you couldn't throw unless the wind was behind your back. And so we ended up winning the game. I think it was like 16 to 7 or something like that. And we scored twice, and that's all we really needed to do. And it was an absolute wild game in terms of weather.
Kevin
Playing ball in Southern California, I guess you didn't deal with much weather.
Bobby Bones
No, not at all. We had the Santa Ana winds. That's it, like a little bit windy. But that was an extreme game. We had some cold games in Kansas City where there were like 10 degrees, where it's just frigid. But once you get out there and you're running around and. And you're doing that, it's kind of manageable. It's the games when it's like a cold rain and it's not really snowing that are the worst because it just soaks you to your core and you cannot get warm and you're just sitting there frigid on the sideline when you're out of the game and those are brutal games.
Kevin
When you moved to Boston, did that just feel different?
Bobby Bones
Oh, completely. You, you go from California, Southern California, and then you go to Boston, old school, east coast, just even the township of Foxborough. When we went out to Foxborough, it's not a big community by any means, and you're in the middle of the sticks. And this is before they built out Foxborough and put in the hotels. It was a small roundabout and just you felt like you were out in the country. It was a complete culture shock.
Kevin
That's one of my favorite cities, except when it's winter. Boston and Chicago, I love them both. But God dang, when it's winter, man, it's cold even for a guy like me who did not grow up in Southern California. Like, we had seasons in Arkansas, we have seasons in Tennessee, and it does get cold for a couple of months. But it has cut you wind, it's.
Bobby Bones
Cut you wind and then the snow will come and I mean it'll dump a few feet on you on any given day and you're like, what is going on? You're shoveling your driveway, you're just trying to move around on the, on the streets and you're just like, man, this is cold and this is different. And especially for a guy, like I said, growing up in Southern California, it was just surreal.
Kevin
That first winter I was there, Minnesota probably was a bit different, although super cold. At least you got to play inside.
Bobby Bones
We got to play inside, so that's a game changer. We had days where we would have had games at home that would have been negative 20, negative 15 the year first year I was there. But we were in a dome, so it didn't matter at all. It was always 70. Perfect in the dome.

What I have here. And, Kevin, I'm gonna have you be in this too, since you don't know this. So I see it already, but this is the top 50 shows of all time according to circle ranks, which there's like 10,000 people, all Americans that vote. Okay, so top 50 shows are on.
Bobby Bones
The list currently or all time?
Kevin
All time.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Kevin
What do you think, in your opinion is the number one rated show of all time? Now, this is not you picking your favorite, but what do you think a group of 2,000, 3,000 people are putting up there as the number one show of all time?
Brandon Ray
First thought is the Office.
Bobby Bones
I was literally thinking the scene.
Brandon Ray
See? So we're part of that same crew where we think that.
Kevin
Now that's my favorite show of all time.
Brandon Ray
Yeah. And I've never seen it begin and end. Like, I'm not a huge Office guy. I watch it here and there, but that's it.
Kevin
Number 11.
Brandon Ray
Wow.
Bobby Bones
What about Seinfeld?
Kevin
Is the Office.
Brandon Ray
Ooh, good one.
Bobby Bones
Seinfeld. You always hear people referencing Seinfeld. Maybe not.
Kevin
Number 13.
Bobby Bones
Number 13.
Brandon Ray
Friends. You're searching them. That ain't good.
Kevin
Friends did not make the top 50 shows of all time.
Bobby Bones
Make the top 50.
Kevin
Number one great show. I didn't start it while it was on its original channel. I started on Netflix because they had put it on Netflix and this is a while ago, but I started watching it on Netflix. They've since made a movie that came after the show concluded.
Bobby Bones
No idea.
Kevin
Has to do with drugs.
Bobby Bones
Baltimore.
Kevin
No, that would be the Wire. The Wire does come in. Number four.
Bobby Bones
Wow, that's hot.
Kevin
This one has to do with New Mexico.
Bobby Bones
Oh, the one.
Brandon Ray
Breaking Bad.
Kevin
Number one of all time.
Bobby Bones
Number one of all time.
Kevin
Number two. Mobsters.
Brandon Ray
Like the new one.
Kevin
No, no, no. I'm giving you blinders. Peaky Blinders.
Brandon Ray
Oh, God.
Kevin
They are on the list at number 14.
Brandon Ray
That's Cray 1.
Bobby Bones
That was a great.
Kevin
What's the.
Brandon Ray
Oh, Sopranos. Yeah.
Kevin
Correct.
Brandon Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Oh, okay.
Kevin
I never watched Spanos.
Bobby Bones
I got into it for a few seasons.
Kevin
You quit, huh?
Bobby Bones
I just never was able to keep up with it.
Kevin
I can see that. Because if I.
Bobby Bones
It was entertaining, for sure.
Kevin
If I didn't focus on Game of Thrones to keep up with it, you'd be lost.
Brandon Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Where's Game of Thrones? Is that on there?
Kevin
It has to be.
Bobby Bones
It's got to be on there, right?
Kevin
It is a number five.
Bobby Bones
It's number five, I was gonna say.
Kevin
And number three, I didn't watch. I think it was a limited couple of seasons now, I think, but it was on hbo.
Bobby Bones
True Detective.
Kevin
No, Great. Great show, though.
Bobby Bones
Great show. At least season one.
Kevin
It has to do probably World War II.
Bobby Bones
Oh, band of Brothers.
Kevin
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Band of Brothers was outstanding. I watched every episode of that. And you talk about, like, put you into real World War II. It was World War II, right. Maybe world.
Kevin
I've never watched it.
Bobby Bones
It might have been World War I. But it's called A Band of Brothers. And they go through just everything that they went through. And it's very similar to Saving Private Ryan. If you've ever seen Saving Private Ryan, it was a series.
Brandon Ray
In a good way or a bad way?
Bobby Bones
Sounds like a bad way. I know.
Kevin
I go to the movies to watch Saving Private Land, and I'm pretty pumped about it because it's got big stars in it.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Kevin
Put a bunch of money in it. And it was getting great reviews. And I'm in. And nobody loves America. Like, I love America, so I'm in. I'm ready to watch. I'm ready to learn a little history. I'm ready to be entertained. And we watch. And the opening scene was very emotional. And so I'm like, wow. I'm kind of blown away by the whole thing. I feel like I missed a couple things, though. But I'm kind of blown away by it. And probably like 12 or 13 minutes in, the credits start running after the opening scene, and I'm like, well, that was weird. I've never seen a movie. They started the movie on the final scene.
Brandon Ray
Oh, no.
Kevin
They had it queued up in the wrong place.
Brandon Ray
Oh, no.
Kevin
How were we to know that we had never seen. Seen the movie? We didn't know how it was supposed to start. And I don't want to ruin it, but it's sad at the end. It's, like, sad but hard. And we watch the final scene of it, and it goes to credits. And then they come in and are like, we're so sorry. We had the movie queued up in the wrong place. Wow.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Kevin
They wouldn't give us a refund. They were like, but we'll start it from the beginning. Yep.
Bobby Bones
You're like, this is the most intense opening scene, an emotional opening scene I've ever seen in my life.
Kevin
And I felt like I missed a couple of things. You could just tell, like, there were people. People were old and Stuff. And I was like, I should be knowing. But maybe they'll tell me later.
Brandon Ray
Yeah, they go back.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Why is he back at Okinawa?
Kevin
Yeah. Is. I couldn't believe it. It's the only experience I've ever had like that in a movie theater. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So shame on them.
Kevin
Shame on them. The Wire for Game of Thrones at five. Number six is a spin off of one of those shows. Can you name the show?
Brandon Ray
House of Dragons.
Kevin
Great guess, but it's not Game of Thrones that it is spun off of.
Bobby Bones
Of Sopranos, potentially.
Brandon Ray
Oh, the lawyer one.
Kevin
You got it. Yeah.
Brandon Ray
Saul.
Kevin
Better Call Saul. Yes, that is correct.
Bobby Bones
I haven't seen that. What's it called?
Kevin
Better Call Saul. Because Saul is his lawyer. Walter White's lawyer in Breaking Bad.
Brandon Ray
Wow.
Kevin
I just watched a movie called. I think it's called the Nobody's or Nobody with the same guy. Yeah, it's awesome.
Bobby Bones
I got to write down all these. You. You obviously get to watch a lot more television. You always like, I don't have five kids. I know. I want to watch some of these shows.
Brandon Ray
That looks good. I've seen that. Like it's on Netflix or something. Whatever it's on.
Kevin
I saw the preview for Nobody too. My wife and I hadn't been to the movies in like four years. I don't like going to the theater. And we went to watch F1, which was awesome, by the way. Have you seen that?
Bobby Bones
Yep. No, I haven't seen it. We talked about it. Excellent. You said it was great.
Kevin
And so the guy who plays Saul Goodman has a movie called Nobody one, which I'd never seen. But they were doing a preview for Nobody 2 and I was like, well, dang, they're making a 2:1 must have been good. And he's basically a guy that used to be in something and he knows how to fight, but he doesn't look like an action star at all. And it's just non stop butt whooping.
Bobby Bones
Love it.
Kevin
It's awesome.
Bobby Bones
It's.
Kevin
It's very John Wickish where the. There aren't holes in the plot. There's just not a lot of plot. Like they're just going back to kill them.
Bobby Bones
We're just going to go off a rock. I love those movies.
Kevin
Ben Affleck had one of those. The Accountant.
Brandon Ray
Yeah, I just saw the second one.
Kevin
Did you see the first one?
Brandon Ray
Yes.
Kevin
Okay. So I did not see either one of them in the Accountant two came out. And my wife will go, well, they're making a sequel. The first one's probably good. So we went and watched the Account at one. Freaking awesome.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's good, right?
Kevin
And we watched the Accountant too, right after, and it was good. They're definitely a lot older. And Ben Affleck playing that same character 15 years later or whatever it is, is a little weird, but it was still really good. And John Barenthal, who plays the Punisher, he's one of the best.
Brandon Ray
He's awesome.
Kevin
And anything he does.
Brandon Ray
Yeah.
Kevin
And his story's kind of fun too, because he'd never wanted to be an actor. He was an athlete, really. And he was going to like a Division 2 school, maybe Division 3. No scholarship. And in order to be an athlete, and I think this is just generally what happens, you have to take some sort of P.E. or art class. And so he got into an acting class because he thought it was the easy one, but he got into the harder acting class. He signed up for the wrong one, and so they, like, made him do the. And he got into a play. Had to do a play, and he loved it. Yeah. So that's how he ended up being. This is great actor. Is he signed up for the wrong class? He's awesome as the Punisher.
Brandon Ray
He's great in everything.
Kevin
Yep.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Brandon Ray
What's the one with Leo where he gets rich or whatever? He's in that one, too. He's a crazy character in that one. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Wolf of Wall Street.
Kevin
Yeah. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
That is awesome.
Kevin
It's awesome. So. So watch Nobody.
Brandon Ray
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Nobody.
Kevin
Yeah, that's my. My recommendation. Also, we'll finish out the top 10 here. Attack on Titan from 2013. I don't know what that is.
Brandon Ray
No, I don't know.
Kevin
It probably good. I don't know what that is. Chernobyl. Did you ever watch that on hbo?
Bobby Bones
No.
Kevin
It was amazing. And it's the real life story of Chernobyl when it exploded. Nuclear facility.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Kevin
And what it did to every man and how it was covered. It was awesome.
Bobby Bones
Awesome.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
What's the one on HBO with Claire Danes? Remember the Titans?
Kevin
And she played a heck of a running back.
Bobby Bones
No, she was a detective. Like a CIA operative.
Kevin
Yeah. Homeland. It's amazing.
Bobby Bones
Homeland. Homeland was amazing.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I'm a big, like, CIA operative. Give me. Give me all of it. Right.
Kevin
Have you seen the Agency?
Bobby Bones
I have seen the Agency breaking off. Fantastic. Not as good as Lioness, but Lioness is a little.
Kevin
Oh, Lioness is so good too.
Bobby Bones
It's just so intense.
Kevin
Yeah. More action in Lioness.
Bobby Bones
More. More action. Because the Agency hits some of those lulls where you're just like, okay, get. Get to it already. Show me some action.
Kevin
It's definitely more in the meeting rooms.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Kevin
Than Lioness behind the scenes. That Zoe Saldana is freaking awesome. She's like the main person in Lioness.
Bobby Bones
Oh.
Kevin
And she might be, like, five foot one. I don't know. It doesn't matter.
Bobby Bones
Stone cold killer.
Unknown
Just get.
Kevin
Yeah. Great in that role.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Kevin
We. Have you seen Slow Horses?
Bobby Bones
No.
Kevin
They just renewed it for its eighth season. Maybe it's seventh season, one of those late seasons, but they're not. They don't even have, like, season four out yet.
Bobby Bones
Oh, really?
Kevin
It's so good. And I never wanted to watch it because I don't want to watch show about horses. My wife's like, it's about spies. It's not about horses. And I just heard Slow Horse. I was like, I don't want to watch. I'm turned off by the time I don't watch Seabiscuit. Like, I'm good. And it's not. It's about MI6.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Kevin
See, spies. It's amazing. The first episode's a little slow, but it's so good. And obviously, if they've continued to renew it and it may be on, like, season six or something, but definitely I'd recommend that one too, if you like those kind of shows.
Bobby Bones
Love it.
Kevin
Yeah. Finishing out the top 10.
Bobby Bones
What was the one on HBO, though? Also with. Was it HBO or Netflix? About the drug lords. Yeah. Narcos.
Kevin
Narcos, yeah. Netflix.
Bobby Bones
Netflix, Narcos.
Kevin
Pedro Pascal was in Narcos.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Kevin
Yeah, that was good. Always Sunny in Philadelphia is at number nine.
Brandon Ray
Great show.
Bobby Bones
Great show.
Kevin
Amazing. And has just lasted forever. It's like the Simpsons. And at number 10, Avatar, last airbender.
Bobby Bones
I don't know about that.
Brandon Ray
It's a show.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I thought Family Guy would make it.
Kevin
Well, I have 50 here.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Kevin
I don't see Family Guy. I do see Ted Lasso.
Bobby Bones
Ted Lasso is a good one.
Kevin
I do see succession.
Bobby Bones
Succession. Very character driven. They did a great job of developing those characters.
Brandon Ray
Yeah.
Kevin
Ozarks at 23. Ozark was Ozark. Amazing.
Bobby Bones
Good.
Kevin
You ever watched Penguin?
Bobby Bones
No.
Kevin
So it's on hbo, Max. And it's the Penguin from Batman, but it's definitely not superhero Philly. It's like the Sopranos.
Bobby Bones
Oh, really?
Kevin
Where the penguin's not like a actual bird. It's like a guy. He has a limp. It's. He's playing the pink one, but because he had an act. He was born kind of. His leg messed up.
Bobby Bones
Right.
Kevin
And so they've taken it, made it really gritty and it's good.
Bobby Bones
The Penguin.
Kevin
Yeah, the Penguin. It's good. So don't be like, I'm not turned off by a Batman super villain thinking it's gonna be one of those. Although I do like superhero shows. We did. We went watch Superman.
Bobby Bones
How was that?
Kevin
Pretty good.
Bobby Bones
Pretty good.
Kevin
If you go into it going, oh, this is going to be like a comic book.
Bobby Bones
No, it's not.
Kevin
I think you'll like it. No, it is.
Bobby Bones
Oh, it is like that.
Kevin
Yeah. Because I thought it was going to be like Iron man or Dark Knight, where a little grittier, more real. It's very much comic book.
Bobby Bones
See, I like that. Kind of.
Kevin
I wish I would have known.
Bobby Bones
That's what I feel like. That's the original.
Kevin
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Superman.
Kevin
It's like Guardians of the Galaxy.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Kevin
More so like that same guy that did the movie. And a little less so. Like Iron Man.
Bobby Bones
Right?
Kevin
Real life stuff. Yeah. Yeah. Homeland does come in at 41. Dexter's at 42.
Bobby Bones
Dexter.
Kevin
Dexter was amazing.
Bobby Bones
Was great.
Brandon Ray
So good. They brought it back 10 years later.
Bobby Bones
I know.
Brandon Ray
Twice was it Twice.
Kevin
They've got two of just him. That is a prequel as well.
Brandon Ray
Jeez.
Kevin
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Now he's wire in New York or something like that.
Brandon Ray
I'm not sure.
Bobby Bones
I saw.
Kevin
I never got back in. I watched all of the first run. Loved it. I think it was like eight seasons.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Brandon Ray
Yeah.
Kevin
Is a plus. I even liked the ending. A lot of people didn't like the ending. Loved. Made me root for a serial killer.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. He has that likability factor which you don't normally get when you're dealing with a psychopath that loves to kill people and chop them up.
Kevin
I think John Lithgow is one of the best villains.
Bobby Bones
I love John Lithgow.
Kevin
One of the best villains anything. He did a whole season of that guy.
Bobby Bones
So good.
Kevin
And then finally wrapping up the list here. The West Wing at 47. I never watched the West Wing, but they had like 100 seasons and people love that show. Any of you guys ever get in West Wing?
Bobby Bones
No, no.
Brandon Ray
But I remember how popular it was.
Bobby Bones
Yep.
Kevin
Rick and Morty at 49. Awesome.
Bobby Bones
Don't know that one.
Kevin
Cartoon.
Brandon Ray
Animated. Yeah. Okay.
Bobby Bones
Oh, animated, yes.
Kevin
I call them cartoon still, but yes, it's great.
Bobby Bones
Beavis and Butthead.
Kevin
And at number 50 is the bear.
Bobby Bones
Oh, the bear.
Kevin
I watched season one of the bear. I liked it. I just never was.
Bobby Bones
I mean, it's a hectic show. You've got be emotionally stable. To watch that show. I got into even season two when they did. I think it was a family reunion that they went to.
Brandon Ray
That was the first season.
Bobby Bones
Was that the first season? Oh, my God.
Brandon Ray
Like Thanksgiving in the kitchen or whatever.
Bobby Bones
Watch it at night. I was like, how do you fall asleep after that? You're so disturbed.
Brandon Ray
I almost had to turn it off cuz I can't take this.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I can't take what's going on. The yelling, the screaming, the mom, like her going off of a rocker. I was just like, wow.
Kevin
Yeah. Then you go, chef, chef, chef, chef. Everyone know everyone, chef, chef. So what's media days? What are you gonna do?
Bobby Bones
Media day? So we've got some interviews set up with quarterbacks, and I think we're gonna do some fun stuff for socials and then we get to go. I think I get to sit down with leakin Riley for an interview with him. I might do a few other coaches or players while I'm there. And then at the same time, you're sitting there and you get to interact with these guys before they go up on stage. Meet some of the players. And then you do a lot of interviews.
Kevin
Tell my boy Barry Odom I said, what up?
Bobby Bones
I am.
Kevin
And Bila. I tell Bila my give him a big old kiss on the face if you. I saw him.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah. I'll tell him actually exactly that. And he'll probably start to giggle and.
Kevin
He'Ll probably kiss you and send it back to me. It'll be a telephone kiss.
Bobby Bones
That would be a big kiss right there.
Kevin
