Thankfully, no one was hurt. Southwest Airlines Flight 2494 was preparing for departure to Indianapolis when a bullet apparently struck the right side of the aircraft under the flight deck. The airline said no one was hurt. Dallas police confirmed the incident. No other details were provided on the circumstances of the incident. You wonder if somebody was. Cause I've been to that airport a bunch of times. There's some woods around it. I wonder if somebody was shooting in the woods or if somebody was trying to shoot somebody.

A Philadelphia man, Shawn Miller, has filed a lawsuit against Frontier Airlines after suffering third degree burns and permanent scarring on his genitals when he spilled a cup of hot tea on his lap. Now, let's go through the story. It does say when he spilled a cup of high tea. The incident occurred September 20 while he was flying home from Myrtle Beach. The tea was filled to the brim. It caused severe burns on his penis and testicles, leading to discoloration, loss of sensation. He's 56. He was unable to escape the pain due to the cramped seating on the plane and was trapped, left in agony until the plane landed in Philadelphia. He was immediately rushed to the burn center.

I'm glad they held it up because I feel like anywhere you write, like what your desires are for your stuff to go when you die, it should count if they can prove you wrote it and you were in like, what I say. Good, sound mind. Yeah, if you're in sound mind, it doesn't even matter where you wrote it. And then finally, a mom in Michigan jumped a counter at a hotel and assault an employee after her credit card was declined. A Michigan woman fled a waterpark hotel with her nine children.

Even if it's like the hotel's fault and it's not the hotel's fault.

Yeah, yeah. Cause like no one in my group knew that I had a fake one. And they all had real ones to hand out. So we just hand it out to random people. Like, oh, you. You know what I mean. You were paying attention during our presentation. You get a ticket. And the dude's like, I'm paying off my student loans. I'm taking the rest of the day off. I'm not going to the rest of my classes. And I don't know. I mean, it's just a random person in my college, you know, class. And then you turn it over on the back, and it says, valid only in your dreams claim at your mama's house.

[Bobby Bones]

So when did he realize? Was it in class or did you let him keep going?

[Lunchbox]

No, he left. What? He left.

[Bobby Bones]

So you never told him it was fake?

[Lunchbox]

No. He came back the next day, and he was like. Or nothing. Whenever we had. And he was just like, I can't. It was fake. It wasn't even real. Oh, my gosh. You want to talk about a ruined day? I had my high, my hopes so high. I'd paid off my bills and my student loans. And then to realize that. That it wasn't even real. But he wasn't mad. Didn't try to, you know, fight me or anything.

[Amy]

Yeah, that's good.

[Lunchbox]

Oh, my brother, man, he was jumping up and down on the couch. Hit him with my cousin Andrew. Oh, my gosh.

[Bobby Bones]

Was that one of Christmas?

[Lunchbox]

Yeah. The whole family was there. Grandma and grandpa are like, don't rip it. Be careful. Don't mess it up. Don't mess it up. Oh, my. And my brother's like, I'm buying a new car. I'm buying a new car.

[Bobby Bones]

And you just let him sit with it?

[Lunchbox]

Oh, yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

And at what point, though? In the day or night?

[Lunchbox]

It was like an hour and a half later when my grandpa was finally like, he's very detail oriented. He was like, let me look at the ticket. Let me make sure this is valid. And he flipped it over, and it was only valid at his mama's house.

[Bobby Bones]

There's a woman who was arrested because she was faking and working as a nurse. She posed as a registered nurse, oversaw dozens of patients. That's nothing. This one dude we talked about was a doctor for, like, a year. Remember that kid?

[Eddie]

Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

No, this is still crazy because she did it for a month in Burbank, California. She does not have a nursing license. She's also on federal probation following a fraud conviction in her home state. So I guess they didn't vet her. There's probably such a nurse shortage. And I would bet because they say she posed As a registered nurse. I'm assuming she had some background in nursing to know how to do this.

[Amy]

Stuff and maybe even for paperwork.

[Bobby Bones]

Oh, I'm thinking she used to be a nurse back in the day.

[Amy]

Oh.

[Bobby Bones]

Because they say she posed as a registered nurse. And if she. You know how to put a needle in a vein. You've done that before. Yeah. So no nursing license, but if she was really good after she gets out, let her be a nurse. Part of the rehab. Like, hey, you've done your time, you've served your debt to society. Your patients really loved you. Like, we looked at the, you know, the reviews.

[Amy]

Maybe if they need nurses at like, some high security federal prison in jail, that's crazy. She can do it there.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. She was not a nurse. Did you watch the Mike Tyson fight at all?

[Amy]

No, I did not care. I saw everybody was watching it and then not watching it because it's frozen. That's mostly what I saw was everybody talking about it freezing.

[Bobby Bones]

So I was watching because, well, Mike Tyson was massive when we were kids.

[Amy]

Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

And Kayla wanted to watch it because of Jake Paul. And so she was like, it starts at 8, which was 7, because it was 8 Eastern. And so we turn it on. I'm like, I don't think you're gonna like what's about to happen. She said, why? So there are three fights before the big fight. She was like, okay, well, how long are they? I said, I don't think they'll even walk down till 11 o'clock. She's like, no. They said it started at seven. I said, I don't think you. If this is like any other boxing or UFC event that I've ever seen in the history of time, there were going to be many fights before, and that's exactly what happened. The big fight didn't even happen to, like, 11, which was quite annoying.

[Amy]

Did y'all wait over that?

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah, we watched it. The best fight of the night was the women's fight, the third fight. And it was having buffering issues too. But we would back out and then hit play again, and it would kind of catch back up most of the time. But you would think that Netflix would have had a better plan, meaning they obviously were not ready for the amount of people that were watching the fight. But don't you think you set it up and go, imagine everybody that has a subscription is watching. Like, every single person that has a subscription to Netflix is logging in and watching. Can we handle that? And if the answer is yes, then you should be good to go because that's everybody. But it was massive. Mike Tyson was way old. About the second round, his leg started quivering. He was wearing a knee brace. He had been sick. They had to postpone the fight already before he had some blood transfusions. And he was also 58 years old.

[Amy]

Yeah. I don't know. The whole thing just made me feel kind of weird.

[Bobby Bones]

Well, he made 20 million bucks.

[Amy]

Oh, well, yeah. Okay.

[Bobby Bones]

Jake Paul made 40 million. Mike Tyson made 20 million.

[Amy]

Wow. So fights like that, it brings in that kind of money.

[Bobby Bones]

No, but fights like that do.

[Amy]

And that. That's what I just said.

No. He's the greatest promoter. Him and his brother are the greatest promoters in the history of America.

He wouldn't have fought him had he not known he could beat him.

It was the greatest hustle I have ever seen in the history of hustles. Like, we all were in. I was betting on it. I was on DraftKings. It was a great.

Because I feel like these podcasters do such. They're so intense with their detective. In that word. Yeah. They're so thorough. Like, they spend a lot of time on it because they have the capacity to do it. I mean, think about people that are actually working for, you know, the cops. Like, they have to have 70 cases at once, able to focus on one or the jurors.

I think about that.

So much work.

So I would be begging somebody to do it now if I was guilty. I probably wouldn't. I would just keep saying, yeah, I didn't do it. I wouldn't want them doing a podcast on it. But yeah, this true crime podcast actually got this guy cleared from prison after being in for 25 years. He said he was set up by corrupt police officers who fabricated evidence. Fabricated evidence. And threatened a key trial witness into giving false testimony.

[Amy]

This is terrible.

[Bobby Bones]

Imagine you're in jail and you know that somebody lied to put you there and you did not do it.

[Eddie]

And he was in jail for a long time, right? 20 years.

[Bobby Bones]

You said 25 years.

[Amy]

That is so crazy. Do you see Diddy's having his family from jail? Like, do things.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. Like try to sway the jurors.

[Amy]

Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

So I saw. I'll say this, I just saw a story about allegedly happening. So I don't know. You said that. I see. About him doing it. I don't know anything.

[Amy]

Well, I saw On ABC News. Early, early this morning. Way, like, way early that he went to jail. Right. When he got there, was using eight other inmates phone time. So it was like on their record. To make calls to his family, his lawyer, and then he would have them make a three way call. Allegedly, I'm used that word here. Then they would call on three ways, so then that call wouldn't be tracked. And he set up a social media campaign specifically around his birthday where his family posted them all singing to him. And you hear his voice, and it's the first time his voice has been heard from jail where he's like, y'all are just the most amazing, supportive family ever. I love y'all. And like, and apparently he created that whole. They called it a campaign to make him look, you know, like a good family. Dad. Human. Yes. Personalize it. And that's his plan to like, win people over, potential jurors over, is to see him as a human.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. How do you find jurors that don't know anything about the case?

[Amy]

Exactly.

[Bobby Bones]

When something is that famous, that's why somebody is that famous.

[Amy]

Like trying to get two steps ahead. But God, you get there and you're ditty. And I guess just like, hey, I'm going to take your phone calls today. I'm taking your phone calls.

[Bobby Bones]

Or you could have paid them too.

[Amy]

Yeah. I mean, and they're like, okay, yeah, you're diddy. Okay.

Or they're like, I'll take your money. That's awesome. You can have my phone time. Yeah, I'll take all the ramen noodles and sprees.

Story comes to us from Carlsbad, California. A car was driving a little erratically on the road when police tried to pull it over. And the driver was like, yeah, you think I'm gonna stop? No way. Starts a high speed chase. He's like, how am I gonna lose the cops? He sees a cliff and it leads down to the beach. He's like, I see it in the movies. Flies it off the cliff onto the beach. He's got serious injuries.

Yeah, yeah. No one else hurt though. No one on the beach got hurt.

Also figure like the car, once it hits the beach, depending on what kind of car is not gonna be able to drive on the beach.

I was watching your Instagram and I saw your son run a five and a half minute mile. That's. That's fast.

Yeah, it's his record. And I mean, I'm so proud of him, but honestly, he can go faster.

Well, if it's his record, he's never been faster.

Yeah, but he wasn't even tired when he got done. So now I'm determined he's going to go faster.

[Bobby Bones]

There was forever, and this is decades ago. It was four minutes and nobody could break the four minute mile. And they had for like 30 or 40 years they had tried to break four minutes in the Mile. And once the first guy did it, like, two weeks later, somebody else did it. Another week later, somebody else did it. Like, the first time that it ever happened, it was then shown it can happen. So then other people started to break four minutes just because somebody else had done it before and it was shown it was attainable.

I feel like at some point you must have told us that story somewhere, because even when we got in the car and I was telling him how he wasn't tired, I'm like, oh, you're.

[Bobby Bones]

Telling him he wasn't tired? Well, that.

He even knows, like, afterwards, he kind of, like, went over and he looked at me and he was like, thumbs up. He's like, all right, all right, let's go home. And I'm like, you know, you should be like, hands on your knees. Like, I can't breathe. You just gave it your all. And I said something. I was like, honestly, I don't even know where this is coming from, but it had to be you, Bobby.
