This is the Bobby Bones Show. Let's go. Hope you had a great weekend. Welcome to Monday's show. Morning studio. Morning Bones. It's feeling Anonymous inbox. Anonymous inbox. There's a question to be hello Bobby Bones. We have a swimming pool in our backyard. Now that it's summer, my son's friends are over at the house constantly. They hang out in the backyard and at the pool a lot. I'm often in the backyard with them. One, because I don't like them being in the pool with no supervision. And two, I like sitting by the pool. Usually when I'm by the pool, I wear a bikini. It's not a particularly sexy cut, but it does show my stomach and thighs. I admit I have noticed a couple of boys checking me out. They're 13, 14 years old. Yesterday my sister was over at the house with her kids and they were playing in the pool. My sister said, do you always wear a bikini in front of the teenagers? When I said yes, she remarked that it was inappropriate. I've been wondering if I'm in the wrong signed bikini wearing mom. Amy, I'm to you.
Bobby Bones
I don't know. I was a little confused all the time because I've never heard of anybody being shamed for wearing a bikini in front of kids. Like, I'm a mom. I wear a bikini. I have one pieces too. Is it wrong? I didn't know that other moms thought that wasn't A thing or other people thought.
Amy
And I don't think she noticed anything until she noticed a kid probably checking her out.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
And then her sister saying you. Those combined have made her feel insecure about the situation.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
So what would you say to her?
Bobby Bones
Well, I could imagine feeling insecure after people say something. I would say, if it's an okay modest bikini, like I'm not gonna wear like a thong bikini in front of kids or like a string. I don't even have one of those, to be honest. But you know, like there's like a.
Amy
Why do you feel so uncomfortable right now? Like it's just everything you're doing.
Bobby Bones
I don't, I, I don't know. But I mean, I have bikinis and I wear them in front of kids, but they're I guess what you would call modest bikinis.
Amy
Okay. And so what would you say to the mom?
Bobby Bones
I'd say it's okay, keep wearing it. That is not like, I don't know.
Morgan
What are you supposed to do?
Bobby Bones
Put on a long skirt?
Amy
That could have been an answer of yours. I agree with you. Your house.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
If you were to wear a one piece, a kid's still gonna, a 14 year old boy is still gonna be looking.
Bobby Bones
Right. A one piece can still.
Amy
Yeah. If you were, if you were a pumpkin head and a one piece, a 14 year old boy.
Raymundo
Oh yeah.
Amy
Still gonna be looking true. So yeah. You know the line, you're, you're an intelligent woman. You know the line of wearing a thong bikini and no top versus a regular bikini. Who gives a crap at your house, at your pool? So I'm, I'm with the mom on this. I think she's probably making a fair judgment, a good judgment, without even knowing it's a judgment. That's how normal it is. Amy didn't even know this would be a question. Are you not questioning you?
Bobby Bones
Well, now I'm wondering if people have judged me and not said anything like, oh, she's wearing a bikini. But I often wear like little fins, snorkel heads. But I like little cover up skirt thingies that kind of match the swimsuit.
Amy
Yeah, that doesn't make any more right or wrong because you do that.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, true. But I mean that's just for my own, like I would wear that around a bunch of adults, like much less. If there's 14 year old kids.
Amy
I would say that would be the opposite.
Bobby Bones
Oh, really?
Amy
Well, I would say the adults, you can wear whatever you want.
Bobby Bones
I know, but I just am more self conscious. Like I don't know, I got it. That's been my thing.
Amy
You're less conscious around kids.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Got it.
Lunchbox
That's not good.
Amy
Well, I don't. I just. I just. I didn't expect. Regardless, be you. You're not doing anything wrong. It's your pool.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's your pool.
Amy
It's your pool. But, I mean, don't live your life, but don't get a thong. Yeah. Little asterisk. And then if you go to the bottom of the page, it says near that asterisk. But don't let it be a thing.
Bobby Bones
Right. Because if you say it's your pool.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Then.
Amy
Got it. Okay. All right. Close it up. It's time for the good news with Lunchbox. Tell me something good.
Lunchbox
It's 6am in New Jersey. Charles Perry's at the gas pump, pumping some gas, when all of a sudden he sees a car speeding, lose control.
Amy
Boom.
Lunchbox
Hit a sign and catches on fire. He's like, I gotta do something. He quits pumping gas, he runs, reaches in the window, is trying to get the person out. Can't get that seat belt undone. Finally gets his seatbelt unbuckled, grabs the dude out of the car, and car explodes.
Raymundo
Just in time.
Lunchbox
Just in time.
Amy
Yeah. There's no way it happened like that. But, no, he said, I admire it. It says, I admire somebody, like, saving a life.
Lunchbox
He pulled the driver from the vehicle moments before it was fully engulfed.
Amy
Moments what?
Lunchbox
Before it's fully engulfed.
Amy
Got it, got it, got it, got it.
Lunchbox
So, yeah, I mean, that tells me it was seconds away from. Yeah, yeah. I. He was in there going, it's fantastic.
Amy
It's a great story. A hero. He noticed it, saw it, did it.
Lunchbox
I mean, 6:00am like you say, that's what jumping hours.
Amy
No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Jumping hours end at 4:59am oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Raymundo
Don't get it twisted.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you missed it, it's a whole thing because I almost got jumped. And once it hits 5am no more jumping allowed at gas stations. I feel. Okay, yeah. 459 is the last minute you could possibly get jumped at a gas station. 4, 5am hits. It's like a vampire. And when the sun comes up, oh, we gotta go back and. Yeah, so, no, that wasn't jumping hour.
Lunchbox
Okay. But it was 6am in New Jersey.
Amy
Which is kind of is one hour clear jumping hour.
Lunchbox
Yeah. He was safe and sound. But, I mean, he was probably on his way to work in his nice work clothes, and he had decided, I keep pumping gas. Or go help somebody. And he said, go help somebody.
Raymundo
And he might have been late to work.
Lunchbox
Could have been, you know, could have.
Amy
True. I don't know.
Lunchbox
He could have got. He could have caught on fire.
Amy
I don't know. He could have, but he didn't know. Yeah, a lot of things could have.
Lunchbox
Charles Perry, man.
Amy
Charles Perry. Good job, buddy. That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good. Amy's got a bunch of cash. Amy, pick your player. Anybody. You already know the game. We're not gonna tell them the game yet. You know the game. Pick your player. Anybody in the. In the studio.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Amy
Eddie Morgan. Lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
So are you. You gonna pick somebody, too?
Amy
I'll pick somebody second. We'll bet five. Five ones on it.
Bobby Bones
Okay, I'm gonna. I'm gonna go with Lunchbox.
Amy
What? I'm gonna tell you. I've been with Lunchbox a bunch.
Bobby Bones
I know, but don't you think that this is something he'll know? Are you picking Lunchbox based on the topic?
Amy
Are you picking Lunchbox? Yes. Okay, I will pick Eddie. Okay, Eddie, leave the room. Lunchbox will go first, since he was picked first. Wow. Okay, we're putting five ones on it. I don't even want to say the name of the game until Eddie gets out of the room, because I don't want to give him a chance to look stuff up.
Lunchbox
Yeah, yeah. Go out on that balcony, man. Get out there, Lunchbox. Yeah, buddy.
Amy
So I'm gonna give you seven. He on the balcony. Take a look.
Lunchbox
He is on the balcony, man. He's seeing the. The sun come up and the city come alive.
Amy
I'm going to give you seven state nicknames. You give me the state.
Lunchbox
Oh, okay, good. That's interesting.
Amy
So number one and Eddie will get the same exact questions.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Amy
The Old Dominion State.
Lunchbox
The Old Dominion. Give me Delaware.
Amy
Decent guess. Same area, but incorrect. It's Virginia. Virginia. I like that. That's a good guess, though. The Mount Rushmore State.
Lunchbox
That's one of two.
Amy
Out two. What are the two?
Lunchbox
North Dakota. South Dakota.
Amy
Interesting. Go ahead.
Lunchbox
Come on, give me North Dakota.
Amy
It's South.
Bobby Bones
Oh, my God. Okay. I should have known from you.
Amy
You know, I've lost a lot of.
Bobby Bones
Money, but he loves, like, Amazing Race and, like.
Lunchbox
Yeah, yeah, but they never call it the.
Amy
Okay, next up, the Hoosier State.
Lunchbox
Indiana.
Amy
There you go.
Lunchbox
Okay, that's an easy one.
Bobby Bones
Sports.
Lunchbox
So I'm in trouble because Eddie's going to get.
Amy
He's on the board.
Lunchbox
He's going to get The South Dakota. He won't get the first one, so he. He's going to be up 2 to 1 right now.
Amy
Next up, the Magnolia State.
Lunchbox
Magnolia. Magnolia. Oh, man, that's tough. Man. Where am I gonna go see the magnolias?
Amy
Need an answer?
Lunchbox
South Carolina.
Amy
Not terribly wrong. And you're wrong, but it's the same area. Mississippi. Their flag. I believe they have. I believe they have a magnolia on their flag. Yeah. Okay, three more. The Beaver State.
Lunchbox
That's Oregon.
Amy
Correct. Good job.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
The Land of Enchantment.
Lunchbox
The Land of Enchantment. What does Enchantment mean? Anybody know?
Amy
We really can't help you.
Lunchbox
I mean, I have no idea what Enchantment means or else I'd be able to help. It would help me out. Land of Enchantment. If I'm going to be enchanted, I'm going to head to Idaho.
Amy
New Mexico.
Lunchbox
That's. I thought that was a mess thing.
Amy
Next up. And your final.
Lunchbox
How many do I got?
Amy
Two.
Lunchbox
I've lost the two sports.
Amy
Maybe not.
Lunchbox
Yeah, he's going to get South Dakota. So that's already three.
Amy
The Palmetto State.
Lunchbox
Palmetto.
Amy
Not Paul Meadow. A person. Palmetto.
Lunchbox
Palmetto. Palmetto. Where would you go get palmettos? Is that a drink? Is that a flower? Palmetto. Palmer, give me Palm Meadows. Up in the palm of your hand. I'm gonna take a palmetto in West Virginia.
Amy
South Carolina.
Lunchbox
You jerk. You did that on purpose.
Amy
All right, so, Amy, he got two out of seven.
Bobby Bones
Got him.
Lunchbox
I'm not gonna.
Amy
We have $5 and ones on the line. Bring on Eddie. Bring him out. Bring them out. Bring him out. Bring him out. Walking from. There he is. I see his head. Little bald head running in here. There he is. All right, buddy. You have no idea the game. Nope. Been out on the balcony.
Raymundo
But I am ready to make you money.
Amy
Please, whatever it is, you've just taken it from me for so long. Represent. Represent. The game is the state nickname. Game.
Raymundo
Okay.
Amy
I give you the nickname of a state, you give me the state. Okay, you get seven. Here we go. The Old Dominion State.
Raymundo
Yeah, that is Old Dominion. Is that Virginia or West Virginia? Old Dominion State is West Virginia.
Amy
It's Virginia. Go. Dang it. Next up, the Mount Rushmore State.
Raymundo
Black Foot Hills. Want to say North Dakota, but I think it's South Dakota. Let's go. South Dakota.
Amy
Correct. Yes. Next up, the Hooer State.
Raymundo
Indiana.
Amy
Correct. Three down, four to go. Next up, the Magnolia State.
Raymundo
O. Magnolias. What states have magnolias? It's gotta be in the. Oh, that's Mississippi.
Amy
Correct. Next up, the Beaver State.
Raymundo
The Oregon Beavers. That's what they are. I haven't thought of any other state that has beavers. So let's go Oregon.
Amy
Oregon Beavers. Beaver State. But the Oregon's. The Ducks. Oregon State.
Raymundo
Oregon State.
Amy
Beavers. Yeah. Correct.
Raymundo
Yes.
Amy
The Land of Enchantment. To which Lunchbox asked, what does enchantment mean?
Lunchbox
That's right.
Amy
Y' all know what that meant.
Raymundo
The Land of Oz. Enchantments. I don't know why, but I feel like Illinois is the land of enchantment. But why is Lincoln part of this?
Amy
Like, the Land of Lincoln, Land of Enchantment? Need an answer. Illinois, New Mexico. Oh, and finally, the Palmetto State.
Raymundo
What is a palmetto? That's a tree or a plant. One of the two. Palmetto.
Amy
Oh, oh.
Raymundo
Is that the tree in the South Carolina license plates? License plates. They have a little tree, and it looks like a palmetto. I'm gonna say South Carolina.
Amy
Correct. Yes.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Amy
Eddie went 5 for 7.
Bobby Bones
How does he know South Carolina license plates?
Amy
We travel a lot.
Raymundo
License plates, man.
Amy
We tour.
Raymundo
And if you think about license plates, they all have those things written on them.
Amy
Yeah, he got us with it. If you think about it, now he's getting cocky. The winner, Amy. I mean, five ones. Lunchbox got two. Wow.
Raymundo
You got five, Amy, why did you say he would be the one that.
Amy
Would win these things?
Bobby Bones
Like, because he likes traveling and, like, and TV show, like, people from different states he watches, you know, like, Real World.
Amy
Give me my money.
Bobby Bones
I don't know. I just thought. You have your cash out, you know? Yeah.
Amy
Get.
Raymundo
Pay the man.
Amy
Come on. Pay the man. Get. No. Give me my money. You got to walk it over. Give me my money.
Bobby Bones
Give me the money.
Amy
Yeah, Give me the money.
Bobby Bones
Oh, my gosh.
Raymundo
Hey, Bobby. Today you get paid.

I messed up. Had to text my wife this morning and tell her I messed up. So indulge me everybody. And also, I'm going to feel like this room's a safe place. Okay?
Lunchbox
Yeah, it is.
Amy
Sure, sure.
Bobby Bones
Totally safe.
Amy
You're all such a liar.
Raymundo
No, no, man.
Amy
You're good. You're good. I hate having to get gas. Period. Nobody loves it. I hate having to get in the morning before work. Feels a bit unsafe. Good thing I'm such a macho, masculine man that I think, you know, people get intimidated when they see me get out of the car. You know, I mean, when I have my cardigan on and my glasses, all that. Yeah. Everybody's probably like, we won't mess with that guy.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Except that's not really the case and. But I hate having to get gas early in the morning because it totally throws off my schedule. I am so regimented. I have to stop and get gas this morning because I had like 22 miles left.
Bobby Bones
You would have made it.
Amy
Yeah, that's, that's not the point. That's not the point.
Bobby Bones
Well, I'm just letting you know you didn't have to stop.
Amy
I did have to stop because I don't like it when it's under half and I'd been letting someone use my car and then I had damaged a couple wheels and I have the wheel package that replaces the wheel. So the car just been gone for a while.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
So I go to get gas and I'm kind of hungry. Had some breakfast this morning, some oatmeal at the house. I'm kind of hungry. I go in and just do my normal thing. I get, I get a protein cookie because I'm like, I like cookies, but I don't want to go full cookie cuz it's bad for me. So I get a protein cook, eat the whole thing and like, wow, I'm all cookie monster, straight up style and so didn't want to stop and get gas. Didn't really want. I didn't even like the protein cookie that much, but it was fine. And I start to think, oh, I think there was probably dairy in that. I didn't even check. I don't, I don't even check. I don't even check stuff like that because I have my habits built in. Like I check from big meals. Like I know for the most part I can't eat dairy. No. Breakfast, lunch, dinner. If we're at a restaurant, Eddie's been with me, I'm like, hey, is there dairy in that? I'm so. I'm diligent and vigilant. Those words are very similar. I do them both.
Bobby Bones
Was this a chocolate chip cookie?
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
Yeah. But I didn't even think about it. But at the gas station I'm just like, grab something, go. I get it, I eat it. I don't know, 20 minutes later I'm.
Raymundo
Like, oh, you hear it, Feel it?
Amy
It's like calling me up from the landline down in my gut. On a rotary dial. Like, it's just. I'm like, hello. Like, hey, we're gonna be seeing you a couple hours. Hope you. Hope you guys are there. Hope you're at home. Like, oh. So I text my wife, because what you can do. What's great because I use a couple different versions of AI and like, Genie's the best for me to put in, like a food and go, is there any dairy in this? And so I type it in. This is so boring. But just bear with me because it's really hard to be lactose intolerant. And I said, there any dairy in a quest soft and chewy protein cookie chocolate chip.
Bobby Bones
Oh, no. Do they also use whey for the protein?
Amy
Oh, everybody listen up.
Raymundo
It's coming.
Bobby Bones
It's like full.
Amy
Yes. The quest soft and chewy chocolate chip protein cookie contains dairy including milk derived components such as milk protein isolate, whey protein isolate, butter, cream count. There's seven different versions of milk dairy in this crab.
Raymundo
They're like, the whole thing is dairy.
Amy
Yeah. You basically ate dairy. All is a cow. You sucked a cow's utter. So then I'm like, what can I do? And they give me options. It's like, I'm calling 911 for dairy.
Raymundo
Pump your stomach.
Amy
Clear.
Bobby Bones
Poison hot.
Amy
Yes. So I hit up Abby, who is the savior of all things up here. She doesn't get the credit she deserves for being the utility tool that she is. And I said, abby, I need help. I need enzyme medica, lacto complete dairy digestion supplements. And so she does. And you may have seen her deliver them in the studio.
Lunchbox
Oh, wow. That's what that.
Amy
This is the EpiPen.
Raymundo
Okay.
Amy
Of dairy, I hope.
Raymundo
You sure you're not supposed to take that before?
Amy
Probably, but at this point, I'm doing what I can do.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I think it's before, but yeah.
Amy
I need you guys to not come look behind this desk.
Raymundo
Oh, no.
Lunchbox
Did you take the whole bottle?
Amy
No, I looked at it because I've never taken. It says take one as a serving size.
Raymundo
Oh, I'm telling you, my father in law takes like 10 when he eats ice cream.
Bobby Bones
And it's before, right?
Raymundo
It's before he eats the ice cream.
Amy
Okay, let me ask this question. Should I wait? No. Can I. Can I eat? I guess.
Bobby Bones
You don't eat pills, do you take it swallow.
Amy
Can I take the pills after I eat?
Bobby Bones
Administer.
Amy
Yes. Anything other than I eat dairy. I messed up and ate dairy unknowingly.
Bobby Bones
It doesn't need to know that part.
Amy
It does because I tell it everything.
Raymundo
This is your genie.
Bobby Bones
It needs to know that it was.
Amy
My diary, as I call it.
Bobby Bones
It needs to know that it was unknowingly.
Amy
Yes. Yeah. Because I don't want to judge me think I'm an idiot.
Raymundo
I like that you say like, I messed up.
Bobby Bones
Yes, I know, but isn't that like, bad on the environment? Extra words.
Amy
I'm worried about my personal environment and my gut right now. Yes, you can take lactase enzyme pills after eating dairy. But here's what you need to know. Best case scenario, they work best if taken right before or with the first bite of dairy. But if you forgot and realized after you ate the dairy, taking the pill can still help a little bit. Especially if your body's still digesting the food. Don't take hours later or the next day. It won't help. Let me know what you can. What you ate. Okay. That cookie I mentioned earlier. Okay. And its response? Well, it's taking a long time.
Raymundo
Weird that it wants to know what you ate. Like, I would just leave it there. Like, right.
Lunchbox
Like.
Bobby Bones
No, it wants to keep.
Raymundo
It wants to know more about you. Dude, that's weird.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
The conversation going. Please don't leave.
Amy
Yes. The quest soft and chewy chocolate chip protein cookie contains dairy. If you've already consumed that as soon as possible, it'll reduce the symptoms.
Caller
Good luck.
Amy
Good luck. What the crap?
Raymundo
Hope you don't die.
Amy
It's like it's reading my final rights. Anyway. That's what happened this morning.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
I had to get gas. Terrible. In the morning. I don't. Getting gas is fine when it's daytime. I don't feel like when I get jumped because I'm a little wimp. And secondly, I out of habit, just went and got like a protein cookie.
Raymundo
People jump in the morning and gas stations.
Amy
Well, yeah. When it's still kind of dark. That's more at 3:30. 4. 4:30. All that's jumping hours.
Lunchbox
Those are jumping hours.
Bobby Bones
The big takeaway here is my keys.
Amy
Are still in my pocket. That's like, unsettled. I've been. Go ahead.
Bobby Bones
Well, you need. Now, you know, you need to start reading labels. Like, not only when you're at a restaurant. Like you said, you're diligent at a restaurant, but you need to be diligent at the gas station.
Amy
I will not read a label. I would just pop it into my buddy here and.
Bobby Bones
Okay, well, Jeannie, however you want to do it.
Amy
Yeah. Your.
Bobby Bones
Your version of reading labels will be genie.
Raymundo
And then next time. Hey, man, Just get gas and just get. Go on your way.
Amy
Don't.
Raymundo
You don't have to buy anything at the store.
Amy
I do. I'm gonna tell you something. Growing up poor, I go into a gas station, and I think, I can have anything in here. I still think that as an adult, and I'm not even kidding. I will walk into a gas station, go, I can buy anything in here. And it still feels exciting to me.
Raymundo
I mean, I get that. Because when you're a kid, you can buy anything in there.
Amy
Yeah. One as a kid, couldn't have. Couldn't buy anything. Money. As an adult, you couldn't buy the expensive stuff because you didn't have enough money for the rest of the week. So I thought about getting pork rinds this morning, too. And honestly, that would have been a better buy.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah.
Raymundo
Because it doesn't have dairy in it.
Amy
Who would have known pork rinds would have been better for me than a protein cookie? Anyway, that's my morning. Hey, everybody.
Bobby Bones
Hope everybody's good, but your morning's not over.
Amy
No, I know. Trust me. It's gonna be a long one.
Bobby Bones
Right?
Raymundo
And we'll stay away from your desk.
Amy
It's gonna be a long one. It's time for the Good News with producer Eddie.
Raymundo
Her name is Zora. She just graduated from Irvine Valley College. But here's the thing. She's only 10 years old.
Amy
Wow.
Raymundo
She got her associate's degree in mathematics, and she became the youngest graduate of that school, beating two other people. You know, those two other people were. Yeah.
Amy
Cause I teased it.
Raymundo
Her siblings. Her siblings, they graduated when they were both 11 years old. And now Zara was like, I'm 10. I'm gonna beat your record. And they're all in college. The oldest son, he's about to graduate. The other one's in college. And Zora, she says she's about to start at UC Irvine this month.
Amy
That's wild. A mathematician at 16. That's crazy. Morgan, did you graduate early?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Morgan
From college.
Amy
How. Really?
Morgan
Yeah, I did college in three years.
Lunchbox
So how old were you?
Amy
Well, that would. She's 22. Normally. She's probably 20 or 21, I would assume.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Oh, that's not that impressive.
Morgan
You didn't even graduate.
Amy
First of all, that's true. Second of all, she didn't bring it up. I. I literally just said, did you.
Lunchbox
Graduating at 21 is not impressive. That's when I would have graduated.
Amy
I didn't try to impress anybody. I literally just said, morgan, didn't you graduate early? And you took a shot at her.
Lunchbox
Well, I'm just saying, like, oh, wow, she graduated 21. Like, what? That's not.
Amy
And then she said, you didn't even graduate and nailed her. And when you're.
Lunchbox
When you're 21, why would you want to graduate college early? I mean, that's a prime party years.
Morgan
Why would you not want to save money and not continue to go to college?
Lunchbox
How much did you pay for college?
Morgan
A decent amount of money.
Lunchbox
You pay for it.
Morgan
Yeah, I got a lot of scholarships.
Bobby Bones
Because I was smart.
Amy
Don't let him trap you, Morgan.
Lunchbox
That's not pain.
Amy
He's luring you into a place.
Lunchbox
Scholarships. Let them pay for you to party for another year.
Amy
I wanted to graduate early because I was paying for school and I was going to work. I had to work, and so might as well go to work and not have to do school.
Raymundo
Well, it took me six years to graduate college, so. Yeah, and that's just a bachelor's degree.
Amy
Morgan, don't follow his little tricks. I was literally just asking. This kid's 11 years old, graduating high school, going to college.
Raymundo
She's 10.
Amy
It's fantastic.
Lunchbox
Morgan was 21.
Amy
Normal college.
Bobby Bones
You didn't even graduate.
Amy
But she didn't bring it up and raise her hand and go, like, have something to brag about. I literally was just asking a question.
Lunchbox
Right. That's just normal college, Azo. Right. Like, we.
Amy
We understand that getting a bachelor's in three years, I would say, is abnormal. Ah, no, no, no.
Lunchbox
Because, like, usually a lot of people start.
Amy
Not a lot. Some do. I did.
Lunchbox
Whenever you graduate classes.
Amy
I'm not doing it now. I'm getting trapped.
Raymundo
Yeah, guys, it's right. Tell me something good.
Amy
Who's the kid?
Raymundo
Her name's Zora. Elling.
Amy
Zora, you deserve the lies. Yes, it' thank you. That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good. Okay, so you may remember this voicemail. I was just wondering if we could get Amy's Morning Corny. Like, she used to do it when.
Eddie
She was yelling the Morning Corny.
Amy
We haven't heard that in a really long time.
Lunchbox
And it always made me laugh so hard.
Amy
So I would just like to request.
Morgan
One of Amy's screaming Morning Corny.
Amy
Thank you. So Amy yells a joke. Was an old way. We used to do this segment and Raymundo would sing the theme song. Amy yells a joke.
Lunchbox
Amy yells a joke.
Amy
Amy has a joke to yell to you.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you're up. Okay.
Amy
You gotta back away a little bit, though.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Yeah. I've spent a minute, you know, when.
Amy
Like, Celine Dion pulls the mic away, there's a reason. So it doesn't, like, over modulate.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
So don't yell right into the mic.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
All right. Should we hit the intro again?
Bobby Bones
Nah.
Amy
Kind of kills the vibe, though.
Bobby Bones
If you took this long, hit it.
Amy
Again the rest of the week. We got to go right after that last guitar. Got it. Okay, go ahead. Yeah, go ahead. Amy yells a joke. Amy yells a joke. Amy has a joke to yell to you.
Eddie
What do you call a group of musical whales?
Amy
What do you call a group of musical whales?
Bobby Bones
An orchestra.
Amy
An orchestra. Amy yells a joke. Amy yells a joke. Amy has a joke to yell to you. I would encourage you to yell like you're singing like a Axel Rose.
Bobby Bones
I don't know how you in a jungle, baby. Oh, I've never done that before.
Amy
I'm saying you'll blow your. You'll blow your voice out. Doing it your way.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
Where you're just like, I'm not.
Bobby Bones
I'm not a professional screamo.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Okay. How do I do that?
Amy
Yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Hold on.
Amy
Did you just have a stroke?
Bobby Bones
What do you call it, girl?
Amy
Okay. We'll try to be better at it tomorrow. Thank you. By the way, I need to ring the bell. We are now what? We're. We want to put another thousand followers on. On YouTube. Our YouTube page. Bobby Bone Show YouTube page. We're at 306,000 followers. Every time we get a thousand, we ring the bell. So thank you very much for following us over there. On YouTube, you can watch musical segments that we can't put on the podcast over there. And you can watch Amy yell the joke today. Let's put that up today.
Raymundo
Okay.
Amy
On the Bobby Bone Show YouTube page. All right. Let's do C.O. wetzel High Road.
Lunchbox
Let's do C.O Wetzel High Road, baby.
Raymundo
Gosh, looks like it hurts.
Amy
Do that, Amy. We go Wetzel, baby. What did you just say? I don't know what you just said. I don't know. We got C.O. wetzel, baby. That's a little better. Yeah.
Raymundo
Can you imagine the whole show?
Amy
No, no Bones. Crazy story. Morgan's parents have storage unit. That storage unit was broken into. Someone robbed it.
Morgan
Yep.
Amy
And then they started selling the crap online.
Scuba Steve
Whoa.
Amy
They started seeing all their stuff. Oh, online being sold. So what happened?
Morgan
Yeah, so we have the storage unit. It has just a bunch of old furniture and stuff in it. And there was a string of break ins at it. And my parents storage unit was One of them. So they're like, well, crap, we're never gonna get that stuff back. But my sister was on marketplace and it like pops up. She's like, hey, that's my hello Kitty toaster. And then starts just seeing all of these items that were in our storage unit. And so they sent it to the police officers and they're like, this is your guys stuff. They're like, yeah. They set up a sting operation to like buy one of the items, the toaster.
Bobby Bones
Please say it was a hello Kitty toaster.
Morgan
It wasn't. Yeah, they met with them. It was like a guitar or something that they. They went to buy and they met up to do the Facebook marketplace sell and cuffed them.
Bobby Bones
Cuffed them on the spot.
Amy
Wow. But.
Raymundo
But what if they were like, what if they bought it from the original people?
Amy
Then I think an explanation would be and they would show the fact. But that wasn't the case, right?
Morgan
No, it was ours. Like we knew this stuff was ours. It was very identified of our things.
Amy
Did you get it all back?
Morgan
Not all of it. The hello Kitty toaster is long.
Amy
Oh, no. Rest in peace, hello Kitty toaster.
Morgan
Taylor was very upset about that.
Amy
Oh, man. But that sucks. It got robbed. Yeah, you got robbed. It'll get broken into.
Bobby Bones
Well, it was just.
Morgan
It was crazy that they immediately turned around within 24, 36 hours and started selling all of it on Facebook Marketplace.
Amy
Yeah, I would think somebody that's burglarizing a unit is not doing long term investment. They're burglarizing. They can get. But also they're making themselves super vulnerable by selling it and then meeting. Yeah, because they're selling in the same region. Like you gotta at least go like a county stay over or something. I don't know. But you have a guitar.
Morgan
Yeah. It was back when I wanted to be an artist. I had an electric guitar.
Amy
Oh boy.
Raymundo
Would love to hear that.
Lunchbox
Oh boy.
Amy
I wanted to be a singer.
Morgan
I took guitar lessons.
Amy
You did?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Can you still play?
Morgan
Oh, no, no, I never. I never did very well.
Amy
Probably been awesome if that guitar would have been stolen. She was just thinking about getting back into it. That would have been my moment.
Morgan
I could have been a rock star.
Amy
Lunchbox had somebody steal something from his house too.
Raymundo
Oh, no.
Lunchbox
Yeah. Someone stole my kid's soccer ball. I don't know what's wrong with society.
Amy
No, no. It's not nearest. It's not near as bad.
Lunchbox
What is wrong with society? My kids loved in the front yard. Yes. They left in the front yard. But it's still in the front yard. And it's a little kid's soccer ball. So it's smaller than an adult soccer ball. And wake up the next morning, soccer ball's gone. Someone took the soccer ball. So whoever's out there and thinks, oh, you know, I stole a kid's soccer ball. I don't know how you live with yourself. You suck and I hate you.
Amy
You're more upset about this though, than when Morgan was telling her story.
Lunchbox
Yeah, who cares? Storage units. Stuff they're never going to use again.
Amy
That's what's in storage.
Lunchbox
No, no.
Amy
How long has it been storage right now for a reason that we're taking out like three months to put inside of a place.
Lunchbox
Morgan, how long has your stuff been in there?
Morgan
It's been there for a while, but we sell it like we do garage sales every couple years and we just keep pulling back stuff.
Amy
So your soccer ball is a bigger story than her family's storage unit getting broken into.
Lunchbox
It's something that my kid use, my kids use every day. And some jerk in the neighborhood is.
Morgan
Something you can go buy for like $20?
Amy
Far less. Not even a regulation size ball.
Bobby Bones
Wait, what if like a animal came and just like nudged it along?
Amy
Could have been that too.
Lunchbox
No way.
Amy
It's like O platypus.
Lunchbox
There's a soccer ball. I'm gonna steal that from my kids, and they're gonna go home and give it to their kid like they got him a ball. You stole it from my yard.
Amy
Morgan, we're sorry that happened. That sucks.
Raymundo
Yeah, Morgan.
Bobby Bones
Sorry.
Lunchbox
Hey, guys.
Amy
Hello, hello kitty toaster. Rest in peace again.
Morgan
Hey, that hello kitty toaster cost more than soccer ball.
Amy

Wake up, wake up in the morning Then you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turning. Then you hear trying to put you through M riding his wigs. Next bit and Bobby's on the mic so you know what this is? This is the Bobby Bone store. Morgan, has your new boyfriend met your parents yet?
Morgan
Yeah, my family's been in town all week and yeah, he finally got to meet him.
Amy
That's why I asked. I knew they were here. I don't know if you kept them from them. Did you make a big to do about we're going to do an official everybody meet or was it just an organic thing where we're gonna be here? He's gonna be here.
Morgan
Yeah, it was just really organic and we all went to dinner their first night that they got in it was super casual and he's been hanging out with us all week for all the festivities.
Amy
Staying at your house. Yeah, while they're there staying at your house, he's staying at your house while your parents are staying at Your house?
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
Where's he sleeping? Attic. Is he in the attic?
Morgan
He stays with me.
Bobby Bones
Oh, my gosh. My mind is.
Amy
Wow. Whoa. And we're all adults, and you're an adult.
Morgan
I'm in my 30s, guys.
Amy
I know that, like, you guys just started dating four or five months ago.
Bobby Bones
Not even.
Amy
And it's also. Your parents are staying at the house, so a little bit. I got a little mild shock there.
Raymundo
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I don't think it's so much. It's not. To clarify, it's not judgment. It's just shock.
Morgan
Wow.
Bobby Bones
You can do that.
Amy
Great. It's not judgment.
Bobby Bones
It's not. Because I don't think any of us are judging her at all for it. We're just more like, wow. I mean, both of my parents have since passed, but that would never happen.
Lunchbox
Not.
Bobby Bones
I mean, my dad.
Amy
Six months. How long have you guys been dating?
Morgan
It's been three.
Amy
Three. Yeah. I'm saying six months or less.
Bobby Bones
Oh, six months.
Amy
I think there's a point, too. He. Probably. No judgment. And also, good for you, because you know who you are. You know who you are with your parents.
Caller
I love it.
Amy
For me, I don't even have parents, so it's hard for me to even say this, but what I'm saying is, I think in the first meeting, in that. Whatever that time exchange is, in the events of the first meeting, he wouldn't have been staying at the house. He. The first meeting with the parents would have been, okay, we're gonna have dinner, we're gonna hang out. Then they come back the second time he's staying in the house. It's like a slow walk, but, you know, you are, and I sell it.
Raymundo
This is a bomb.
Amy
I celebrate.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, right. But, like, how do you tell. Like, how does that go? I don't know how that would go. Like, do your parents say. Do you just say he's staying, Walk.
Morgan
Us through it, or does he just.
Amy
Go to bed and it's like, all right, good night, everybody. And he just takes his shirt off and walks in the bedroom.
Raymundo
That's crazy.
Morgan
He doesn't, like, take his shirt off in front of him. But, yeah, I mean, it's my house. They're staying at my house. So, you know, they're not going to be like, no, you can't do what you want in your house.
Amy
Never thought that the relationship you have with your parents is also awesome. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
But I mean, is there a. I guess. Is there a conversation or. It just happens.
Amy
So did you tell them he would be staying at the house too, or.
Morgan
Yeah, like in advance. I was like, yeah, he stays at the house quite a bit. So it's also been super helpful because it's just such a busy week. He's super helpful with everything. So, like, I'm like, I kind of need him here.
Lunchbox
Wait, what? Question in the morning, like, does he breakfast? Yeah. Like, without a shirt on or is he like, had to get all dressed.
Bobby Bones
Before he comes out there?
Amy
He's doing his pull ups. He's got the little thing. He puts it up the doorway and he's doing pull ups.
Lunchbox
Like, that's just so funny.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
That's crazy. Morgan is coming to work and then he's waking up with her parents.
Lunchbox
So how does that go?
Amy
Is that true?
Bobby Bones
Yes. Yeah.
Amy
Dang. Yeah.
Morgan
Because he doesn't go in as early as we do.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Morgan
He goes and makes his coffee and he hangs out. No, that's what I'm saying.
Amy
So he's whitey tighty chilling and your parents are there.
Morgan
High five and a whitey D party in the kitchen.
Amy
The first time they met him, did he stay at your house that night you go. The first time he meets them, did he stay also? Stay?
Morgan
Yes.
Amy
Oh, that's tough. Did he feel weird about that? I would have felt weird. Yeah.
Morgan
Like, he did ask. He was like, are you like, are you sure you want me to say, like, is this okay? And I was like, yeah.
Amy
I mean, whatever.
Bobby Bones
Bobby's married and when they go visit.
Morgan
Caitlyn's parents, he's like, are you guys sure? Guys, I'm the last of four daughters. They really just kind of gave up on me.
Raymundo
I get that.
Amy
I mean, yes, all I understand every part of it. It still is a little weird, but good for you. Good for you.
Morgan
I guess I didn't even realize it's like a weird thing until you guys all just responded like that. I didn't even think anything.
Bobby Bones
How we grow up so differently, you know?
Raymundo
Oh, yeah.
Amy
I had no rules, but also I had no girls. You know, it wasn't that I grew up so different. I just was different. Like, ah, okay. So he just stayed at the house.
Bobby Bones
I know Morgan's like, hey, guys, I'm 30. I'm like, I could be 50.
Amy
And you guys are good. Relationship's good?
Morgan
Yeah, it's going so awesome. He's a great he. I have not. There's not a single person that's met him, of my friends or family that has disliked him.
Amy
They.
Morgan
They all love him.
Amy
If you did a background check.
Morgan
Oh, yeah, that was like, one of the first things I did, I did, like, first night I met him, I was like, who are you?
Amy
No, no, no, no. Did you, like, official background check?
Morgan
Oh, I did, like, a deep dive. And I had my friends who are very FBI investigators go into.
Amy
Really? We're rooting for you. Not literally.
Morgan
Not like literally.
Amy
You think she has friends?
Morgan
Like, it's a joke. Because, like, women are FBI investigators and some.
Bobby Bones
Some of your girlfriends just are better at it than others. And they will go deep dive on anything that you need because they're just good. What do they call it?
Amy
Did you think she has literal FBI?
Lunchbox
No, guys, I literally. I'm shocked that you sit there and Google someone. Like, I. I am shocked by this.
Amy
What. What year are we in now? This is the opposite here.
Lunchbox
No, no, I am actually shocked by this. Like, whatever happened to just, like, get to know the person and why do you get to go dig through stuff on the Internet?
Amy
Whatever happened to predictability?
Lunchbox
The milkman, the paper boy, Even in tv? Sorry, guys. I. I just thought maybe you could just go out with him and get to know him instead of having to dig through, like, Facebook and Instagram and go look at all his posts.
Amy
And I literally meant, did you do a real background check?
Morgan
It's really more for, like, the legal side. It's not like you're, like, going to find out all the info about it.
Amy
You have. You have a history of dating dudes that have been trouble.
Morgan
That's why it's kind of important.
Amy
I said have mug shots.
Morgan
Well, it's true.
Amy
Yep.
Morgan
Nope, There is one.
Amy
I needed that to be recognized officially by the room. Yes, go ahead.
Bobby Bones
I feel like that would be. Yes. Like, there's been. There's a lot of distrust that has happened, so why not get ahead of it and just see if they have a record?
Amy
Morgan, we are rooting for you. What's the age separation?
Morgan
We are three years apart. He's older than me.
Amy
So close enough to not matter.
Morgan
Yeah, I know.
Amy
Okay.
Raymundo
I saw him at the stadium. Got my eyes on him. Yeah, Good looking dude.
Amy
Well, I saw pictures of him.
Raymundo
Oh, I haven't seen that.
Amy
She's launched it. Oh, really?
Raymundo
No, I didn't.
Morgan
There's like, side profiles.
Amy
Oh, wait, you haven't shown full face.
Morgan
Not full face.
Amy
I've seen his full face because somebody else practice full face. Dude, you were in it.
Morgan
I think he. Well, he's posted.
Amy
Got it.
Morgan
And I saw it.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, you haven't seen. Yeah, good looking. No, no.
Raymundo
Good looking dude. And he was blowing kisses and I thought he was blowing because of me. I'm like, yeah, dude, back at you. And then that's my boyfriend.
Amy
Oh cool.
Bobby Bones
And he's like a listener. Really likes me.
Amy
Wait a minute. You can talk to people through the computer in another state.
Bobby Bones
I mean there are people that don't want to Google and find out information and they want like I know it's rare.
Amy
40 and below. Even 50 and below. You need to Google search and see what if you have person has any priors. Yeah. Because it's an available tool. So why would you not see what.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Or not even.
Amy
For safety reasons.
Bobby Bones
Just anything.
Amy
Oh yeah. And then you check.
Bobby Bones
Then you check like everything. Yeah. Like cuz I. I just found out that my boyfriend did that to me and I was shocked cuz he's 52. So I thought like to your point, Bobby, like the age thing, I just thought the older they are, the less they likely they were to do that. And he's like a newspaper checkup.
Amy
He went to the public library, put it in micro.
Bobby Bones
He did a total deep dive. And I didn' I didn't find that out until kind of recently.
Raymundo
Did you do that to him?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yeah.
Amy
Film strips.
Bobby Bones
Film strips.
Lunchbox
Okay, Morgan, good luck.
Amy
Thank you, Bobby. Bone Show Bonehead story of the day.
Lunchbox
This story comes to us from England. A man was upset with bad service at a restaurant. So he waits till it closes. I'm going to go get revenge. And he comes up, pours some gasoline by the front door and lights it. And he spilled some gasoline on himself. So he caught himself on fire.
Bobby Bones
Oh no.
Amy
Dang. This is like a double bonehead who gets bad service and wants, quote, revenge.
Raymundo
Yeah. And then by fire.
Amy
And then secondly to actually go burn a place down and then to burn yourself up.
Raymundo
Like that's.
Amy
Yeah, that's bonehead. Okay, I'm Lunchbox.
Lunchbox
That's your bonehead story of the day. The Body Bone Show.
Amy
Voicemails. This is Sadie from South Dakota just listening to the podcast and Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, you better let your kid play in the band. My husband was a D1 athlete, played in the band. He even played in like a small side jazz band while he was in College. Being that D1 athlete, set your kid up to be like the ultimate ladies man. Come on, man. Eddie was talking about his son and maybe he didn't want to play in. In the band. The marching band.
Raymundo
Yeah, because he's an athlete like he's been.
Amy
But you're the one that has dedicated him to the term Athlete. He's probably just playing sports.
Raymundo
He's played sports his whole life.
Amy
Okay.
Raymundo
Never showed interest in anything else other than sports. And now all of a sudden, he's going to middle school and he wants to join the band.
Amy
But do you know why showing interest? Because there are other people around him that have interests that maybe those same people didn't have interests earlier. He wasn't exposed to it.
Raymundo
Yeah. I don't know. It just struck me the wrong way a little bit. But now that I'm hearing people talk, Lunchbox talked about some guy in his high school who was, like, the star quarterback. And then he would go put on at halftime, he would go join the marching band. Like, I guess that could work, but.
Amy
That only works that way. It doesn't work for you if he just wants to be in the band and not play ball.
Raymundo
If he quit sports and. No, no, that's not happening.
Amy
Okay. No. Give me the next one here.
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna leave a gap.
Amy
Morning, studio.
Bobby Bones
Morning, Eddie. On this child wanting to play in the band.
Amy
I think you have already decided, Eddie, what you want your child to be. You need to be there to support your child in whatever it is that they want to do. Love the show. Thoughts?
Raymundo
I think it's more of the money and the time we've put into these sports.
Amy
All equal money, though, for now on. Moving. Equal money band. Equal money, sports. And he only picks band. Oh. But it's a little less time.
Raymundo
That's like, you put all your money on this Nvidia and it just crashes. Like, boom.
Amy
But it could also crash in sports.
Raymundo
I know, but we put a lot of time and effort and money into basketball. And if you just quit it for ban all of a sudden and then ban. Like, come on.
Amy
That's what I'm saying. Is it about it being banned? Because what if he quits basketball to be a. To mma.
Raymundo
That's better.
Eddie
That's better.
Raymundo
Fighting. Mma. Fighting. That'd be cool.
Amy
Okay, so it's about bans. It's about ban specifically. And the irony is you're a musician. I know.
Raymundo
And I didn't play band, though.
Amy
You didn't play band?
Raymundo
I didn't play in the band. I wasn't in the band at all. My brother was.
Lunchbox
How'd that go for him?
Raymundo
He was kind of a little nerdy.
Lunchbox
See?
Amy
But it's okay to be nerdy. Nerds end up being bosses of everybody.
Raymundo
Not all the band guys, though.
Amy
