And now for a bit of breaking news. Between your breaking news with me, the Geico Gecko, here are some things you ought to know today. People who switch their car insurance to geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know. Or also plants can hear when bees buzz. My fuse Just heard that. And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there.
Eddie
It feels good to get good news.
Bobby Bones
It feels good to Geico. All right, let's play a couple voicemails first. Go ahead.
Amy
Just have to say Amy, psychic powers.
Bobby Bones
Doing it again, my son. Just let me know. Rory McLeroy, however you say it, is three strokes ahead going into the last day. So crazy. Amy, I'm impressed. Keep killing it.
Geico Gecko
Bye.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, we'll talk about that in a minute, too. But you did it. Made me a lot of money.
Morgan
Good job, Amy.
Bobby Bones
Thank you. Next one, Friday's easy trivia. I didn't think was very easy, but it sure was hilarious. Good job, guys. Keep it up. She needs to do cartoon voices.
Morgan
Yeah, right. She sounds like one.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
She doesn't have to do anything other than just talk normal. That is a funny voice. Thank you.
Amy
In a complimentary way.
Morgan
Yeah. It's unique.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You mean that, like, taking a shot at her?
Amy
I know. I'm just clarifying because I can tell
Bobby Bones
by your tone, but when you clarify, it makes it sound like maybe I was.
Amy
Well, because. What? I just know what it's like sometimes, depending on someone's filter, she's going to hear like, oh, man, he thinks I have a funny voice.
Bobby Bones
No, I think she has a funny
Amy
voice, but she might. Her filter might be like, oh, yeah, Bobby thinks I have a great voice. I was just.
Bobby Bones
My filter now is going crazy. What do you mean you do. You just. My filter's full now. No need.
Amy
Okay, I'll stop talking.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Thank you. How's your weekend?
Amy
It was good.
Bobby Bones
Yeah? What'd you do?
Amy
I mean, mostly just entertained because we had boys spending the night at the house both nights, which is rare. To extend that two nights. Yeah. To. Yeah, you can invite someone over Friday night and you can invite someone over Saturday night, and then.
Morgan
Oh, they were different boys, not the same ones. Okay, that makes more sense. Oh, I thought it was a two night stay over.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Oh, no, but it's still like once you do the one, then you sort of like, okay, you're good for the weekend. And they're going into test this week, so last night I made him go to bed early because I want him to be rested for testing this week. And I got this on a Sunday night. Yeah, we had to go to bed early because he was up late Friday and up late Saturday.
Bobby Bones
Oh, just him.
Amy
Yeah. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna say the kids have my timer.
Amy
So then did that. Cleaned out the garage a little bit. Almost died, but I'm fine.
Bobby Bones
All right, we'll move on then.
Morgan
Almost died.
Bobby Bones
No.
Amy
What happened on earth on our way to church. That was the scariest moment for my weekend.
Bobby Bones
Like, oh, flying hubcap. Yeah, you gu this story.
Amy
So we're driving down the highway, and now I'm wondering if this was a screw from the hubcap. So it's sort of like we had, like, a. The wheel was falling apart because something hit my windshield that I thought was a rock, Like a teeny, tiny pebble of sorts. But now I'm wondering if it was a screw from the hubcap falling loose in the car ahead of us. Because then next thing you know, this hubcap comes flying towards me, but there's nothing I can do about it. I can't swerve because there's traffic around me, so I. So I just have to run over it. Thankfully, it was low to the ground and didn't hit my windshield, but it did puncture my passenger rear tire. And I didn't realize that till a few hours later after church.
Bobby Bones
That sucks.
Morgan
So you were driving on a flat tire?
Amy
Yeah, on the highway. And then I see my warning going down, like, negative 4, negative 5, negative 6, negative 7 for my tire pressure. And then we get home, and I get out, and I look, and sure enough, there is something. It's not a nail. It's something maybe from the hubcap. I'm not sure. It's just, like, this piece, like, stuck, wedged in my tire. So I'm getting that fixed. Today I had to get a ride to work, and I was gonna call Eddie.
Bobby Bones
You get a ride to work?
Amy
Yeah, I was gonna call Eddie and be like, hey, can you pick me up?
Bobby Bones
He only does it on snow days.
Morgan
What day was this today? Oh, I could have totally done that. Yeah, I would have helped you.
Amy
So anyways, that was the weekend.
Morgan
I'm like, sorry, I'm out.
Amy
It's fine. It's fine. But it was scary. I was really proud of myself for keeping cool, though. Like, I thought, you know, my overreact and swerve. But I kept my cool, and I just was like, you know, well, here we are. We're gonna run over it.
Morgan
Do you really think you almost died, though?
Amy
Like, no.
Bobby Bones
Well, she could have.
Amy
I am thankful.
Bobby Bones
Her point is, she didn't react in a way. If something's coming at her car, Our natural reaction instinctually, is to swerve out of the way. But there were cars all around her.
Amy
Last time I had something flying in my car, I just, like, closed my eyes and waited for it to be over. But I was alone, not safe.
Bobby Bones
That's why she could have died.
Amy
But I think this time, because I had 2k in my car, I was more. I was alone during that. But I had two kids, and I remember making the distinct decision to be like, okay, I'm running Over this. I'm just gonna run over it. And, I mean, it made a loud noise and then flew out. But then I'm like, what makes a hubcap go loose? Which then I was like, a pothole. Oh, really?
Morgan
Yeah, like, because. Because you were talking about a screw. Most of the time, hubcaps don't. Or they're not screwed in. They're just kind of like. They snap on. So when the tire hits a pothole, they pop off.
Amy
So. Probably was a rock that hit my window.
Morgan
Probably.
Bobby Bones
I used to lose so many hubcaps. I used to have a Plymouth laser. Sounds awesome.
Amy
And you would lose a lot of
Bobby Bones
hubcaps all the time.
Morgan
I don't even know what that is. A laser.
Eddie
Never heard of it.
Bobby Bones
I'm pretty sure it was a. I'm pretty sure it was a Plymouth laser. Or was it.
Morgan
Was it fast?
Bobby Bones
It looked kind of fast. I bought it used. It looked kind of cool. But I don't know if you could pull a picture of it up behind me and that the hubcaps came. If I hit a rock, the hubcap came off. I was constantly going back and. And, like, picking them up. Well, I was, like, going back through my track, like, what do you call it? Tracing your steps.
Amy
Oh, to find it. Well, that's what I thought about the person who lost hubcap. And then I ran over it, and I was like, well, who. They're going to probably want that back. I didn't know how to help them, but it was. You know, it happened so fast. I mean, the kids didn't even. They just heard the thump. And then, like, obviously then when we got home and the tire was going flat, they were like, what happened? And I'm like, remember on the way to church, we hit that hubcap? And then. Oh, there it is.
Morgan
I got the laser.
Bobby Bones
Plymouth laser.
Amy
Yeah.
Morgan
Yeah, that's it.
Bobby Bones
That's it. Dude, I was proud of that thing.
Morgan
Tell me you were jamming to some Bon Jovi when you're driving that thing.
Bobby Bones
I never Jambon Jovi. That's too.
Morgan
That's too old for you. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
My freaking mic stand. I'd throw it through a window. It will not stay up. We got to get. We got to invest in better equipment here. Yeah, I was so. I worked hard for that thing. It's like my third car. A lot of. A lot of Hootie.
Morgan
A lot of Hootie in there.
Bobby Bones
A lot of Hootie.
Morgan
Look, it does look fast. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I never got tickets, though.
Morgan
You know what? My mom just told me she Said she got one ticket her whole life, and it was a warning.
Eddie
It's not a ticket.
Amy
Well, she got pulled over once.
Bobby Bones
Pulled over.
Morgan
That's what. That's what it was.
Bobby Bones
I mean, that could be. They do. They literally do give you a ticket. Warning ticket.
Morgan
That's amazing. Like, she's, you know, in her 70s.
Bobby Bones
Maybe that's why she was counting it, because they did give her a piece of paper.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Okay, let's do some news. Go ahead.
Amy
Okay, so you know the AI model, Claude, I use all the time? Okay. So it's like there's different versions, just chat, GPT, and then there's Claude. Well, Claude has something called the Claude Mythos. And the company that owns Claude is called Anthropic. And they put out a warning that in the wrong hands, this could be used to break into phones, bank accounts, medical records, and more, which is really crazy. So they're not releasing the Mythos publicly yet.
Bobby Bones
That's good. That's good.
Amy
They're giving.
Bobby Bones
That'd be like the government going, hey, we know about these bombs that could kill everything. But we're not going to release the ingredients of how to do this.
Amy
Yeah. Instead of releasing it publicly, they're giving more than 40 companies, including competitors like Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon exclusively of access to help identify and fix vulnerabilities before they can be exploited. And I thought, oh, this is AI's awesome and scary at the same time.
Bobby Bones
Although you could use AI to, hey, AI, what's the best way that people can't find this? By using AI. Like, we're gonna have to use AI at some point to tell us what is AI. Does that make sense?
Amy
Is it gonna tell us?
Bobby Bones
Well, it's like drug testing in athletes, right? You have to stay one step ahead of the testing at all times, and if you ever get caught, you're an idiot. So AI is going to have to do that. But mostly teachers now are using AI too, to see if students are using AI on their papers. So as bad as AI can be, as good as AI can be, I think a lot of times it gets lost in how great AI is. AI has existed for 15, 20 years, just not at the level that's easily accessible for everybody. But it has helped so many times in the medical world. Like, what we though is we're like, no, AI has created a version of, you know, Donald Trump humping a moose. That can't be real. It's that type stuff or so. But AI really has been great. And what's been used for the last 15, 20 years, it's been all the algorithms for all of our social media forever. But, yes, AI is also used to tell us what is AI. But what they're going to have to do to cheat is to say, one step ahead. Much like drug. Drug testing and using.
Amy
Speaking of AI and Trump, did you see he made an AI image of himself looking like Jesus, and his hand is, like, on a guy, like, healing.
Bobby Bones
First, he fought with the Pope last night.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And then secondly, he created a picture of him as Jesus healing a person.
Morgan
It's like a kid.
Amy
It's just unwell behavior. I mean, I don't care who you're for or not. You have to recognize it.
Bobby Bones
It's not even that. It's like, don't fight the Pope. There's no need to fight the Pope. There's a lot of people, you can get into it, and I can be like, I agree or disagree. I understand why there's beef. Some of these beefs are just for theatrics.
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
They don't even really dislike each other. There's no need to fight the Pope. There isn't. So, yeah, I saw that last night. AI, the image he used AI, him
Amy
fighting the Pope is real.
Bobby Bones
His prompt was, can you make me look like Jesus? And it's literally him as Jesus with,
Amy
like, jets in the background and his
Bobby Bones
hand healing somebody on their head. And the person does look like. It's not. It's not. I'm just gonna say again, it's not. It does look like Jeffrey Epstein, though.
Amy
Wait a second. I was too busy.
Bobby Bones
Not. But that's what everybody was saying. It looks like Jeffrey Epstein with a beard. It's just a dude, but it does it kind of have those, like. Do you see it?
Amy
I'll have to pull it up in a second. But, I mean, I recall it in my head enough.
Bobby Bones
But people on the Internet.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
But he did make that image and post it. Yeah. All right, lunchbox.
Eddie
Oh, there's a pilot, been flying for 40 years for Icelandic Air. Final flight from Frankfurt, Germany, back to Iceland. He's retiring, so he wants to do a little tribute to his village, say goodbye, fly over his childhood home.
Morgan
You're right.
Bobby Bones
There you go.
Eddie
Yeah. So on his final flight, as he's coming in, he gets the plane down to 300ft off the ground, barely off the ground.
Amy
No bueno.
Morgan
This is the. Like, a passenger.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Oh, there's passengers. Just because he wants to give a tribute to his little village and his childhood home, he flies over everything and he Brings it so low to the ground and the passengers started freaking out, thinking they were crashing.
Amy
Yeah, I, I, I would think that too.
Morgan
But you know, it is his last day. Like, what does he care?
Bobby Bones
What are they going to do? Firearm. It's like the last day of school. You thought you could just fight. It's called fight day at school because the last day. What are they going to do? Suspension for the rest of the year with. Problem is the kids will get suspended at the beginning of next year.
Amy
That's like when my ex husband was getting out of the Air Force. They do like a final flight as a pilot with like his team and the kind of plane they flew like a cargo plane with, like, you know, like a thing comes down to where you can, like guys can sit on the backside with their feet hanging out. And they came and flew over and I, I took video of it and then he was like, you can't do anything with that. Because what they were doing was not legal, but sort of tradition in a way.
Bobby Bones
I love illegal traditions.
Amy
It's sort of like, oh, it's, you know, his final flight. So they pretty much flew as low level to our house as you can, which is very similar to that. Like, it was actually kind of scary. Like I could see them, his crew, like he was flying. But then this, his friend, I knew him, he was like hanging out the back. Like it was like a cargo type plane anyway.
Bobby Bones
Feet were dangling in the top of the house.
Amy
Yeah, I mean, but it was so low and so crazy and so loud. But they were, you, they're used to flying that low because when you're dropping people and things like, you can fly low like that. To where? I don't know that this commercial pilot is. They used to flying low through neighborhoods and stuff.
Bobby Bones
But you don't know. He's not used to it.
Amy
Yeah, that's true. But yeah, it just made me think of that memory and how I had video of it and I couldn't do anything with it. I wonder if I could now.
Bobby Bones
I probably wouldn't though.
Eddie
I'd probably, yeah, I'd probably bury that one.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, they're divorced now.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You could have used that for leverage in the divorce. I think so you could have kept a few more forks or something. I wouldn't, Eddie.
Morgan
Okay, so the astronauts came back. Artemis, you know, the whole moon trip and everything. And they did a press conference and I don't know if you guys saw this clip, but one of the astronauts was talking about just the craziest thing that she experienced While she was up there, was just looking back at the Earth and saying how it just crazy how it looked just floating and it made her think. And she, like, got emotional while she was talking. She said it kind of looked like Earth was a life, a lifeboat. Then she kind of, like, stayed quiet for a little bit and then said, planet Earth, you are a crew. And everyone was just like, yeah. And I'm like, what did she mean by that? And I know she meant, like, we're together as one on Earth, floating in this dark space or whatever, but I really thought she was going to say, like, are we alone? Or we're not alone.
Bobby Bones
Oh, nice.
Morgan
And the fact that she said we are a crew, it made me feel like, whoa. Like, are we a crew against the aliens?
Bobby Bones
Oh, I think she just was saying we should all work together and be a team.
Amy
Yeah. Like, let's unite. Instead of being so divided, it would
Bobby Bones
be bizarre to see Earth fully removed because you would just see the ball floating in black.
Morgan
Right. And that's what made her emotional, because
Bobby Bones
even when I'm, like, flying over a bunch of houses in an airplane, I look down at neighborhoods, and I'm like, man, you guys are a crew. But.
Morgan
But you've never thought that.
Bobby Bones
No, no, no. But it is crazy because you're up and you're like, man, all these little people have different lives. Their entire world is happening in that house. It is the biggest thing happening. Everything that's going on is. But there's a thousand of them. And just what I can see, like, there's a thousand massive events happening. Because every person has a massive event happening in their life. And that's just from me flying on Southwest, you know, about to land in Nashville. But imagine being over the whole Earth, and to just to see the Earth separated from. It's just floating in black. That'd be crazy.
Morgan
In darkness.
Bobby Bones
That'd be crazy.
Morgan
And then you. And then, like, to your point, you're thinking, there are all of these people
Bobby Bones
in this little, little, little, little globe. Lives that are of great magnitude to each person living it.
Morgan
See, I thought the opposite. I thought of, like, that would make me feel like, wow. The things that we worry about and the little things that, like, ruin our days are really like, look, when you step out that big. Like, look, it's not that big of a deal.
Amy
They're miniscule.
Morgan
They're so small compared to what we make them in our heads.
Bobby Bones
Unless you're dying.
Morgan
Well, that.
Bobby Bones
That's a big part of your family's dying.
Morgan
I understand Talking about, like, being late for, like, school, and we're like, gosh, we're all late for school. We're freaking out. It ruins the whole day.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Sometimes I'm just like. Sometimes when I jump high enough, I look down, I'm like, we're a crew.
Morgan
You look bad at all of us.
Bobby Bones
I get a good job. I think that's what she meant by that, though, man.
Morgan
I really thought she was going to say, like, we are not alone.
Bobby Bones
Watched the whole Bieber performance at Coachella is awesome. And I saw people hating on it because it was minimal, and that was purposeful. First of all, Justin Bieber can sing as good as anybody else. It's crazy how great of a vocalist he is. So he headlined Coachella Saturday night. And I'm not a Coachella guy. Never been to Coachella. We did play Stagecoach, same place, the week after. But night one was Sabrina Carpenter. Night two was Bieber. Was last night. Carol G. Who was last night? Yeah, Carol G. So watch the whole thing. My wife was like, I want to watch the Bieber performance. Because we'd only seen clips. It was the coolest thing. When he was playing YouTube videos and singing along with them. The dude was created on YouTube. He was found on YouTube. And it wasn't just that he was singing along with his videos of, like, his music videos. He was going back and singing along with videos of him as a kid, posting the YouTube videos. So, like, when he's sitting on a couch, the video that got him discovered, he was singing along with in the concert, a video of him doing so sick from Neo at a high school or, like, a junior high talent show. All these videos that made him who he is. It was awesome and almost emotional. And then he has so many hits, and country artists do this, and nobody gets on their balls about it. They'll go, well, we'll have 30 number one. So I'm gonna do, like, a medley and do four songs inside of a song so everybody can at least hear. That's all he was doing. He has so many freaking hits. He sat down and he wasn't really on YouTube. It was a program they had built out, but it looked like it. And he type in baby and then doom. And the video would come up, and it's crazy to watch him sing outwardly with him being 1412, probably. 14, yeah. And, you know, whoa, whoa. And he's. His voice is high, and now he's doing it as, like, an adult man. Bieber, 30. He's kind of universally. He's 32. Universally a kid because he was so famous and found as a kid because I'm telling you, I don't have. I'm not a Belieber. One, he's so good as a vocalist. And two, is emotional to watch because you know that dude has been through some crap. Hardcore crap. Adults doing terrible things to him. Him having to grow up from 12, 13 years old, not having a childhood, and him going back and reliving that entire timeline. It was one of the best Coachella performances I've ever seen and how it connected. And so if you haven't seen that part, the part of his new music. I know a lot of his new music because my wife listens to those albums. I know like half those songs. But the part where he was going back with and singing his old songs and he would do like a verse chorus, it was a plus. It was one of the best I've ever seen. But I did see people going like, all he did was get up and play YouTube videos. Just not true. Like it was purposefully because of where he came from. And his point was to show from the inception of Justin Bieber as an artist, the first YouTube that ever was up all the way to now. It was a one of the best I've ever seen. Mike, did you watch it? Yeah, I thought it was really cool too. I think his recent performances have been more performance art where they have like a very unique theme. Like when he did the Grammys, he just brought out like a mirror and he was like in underwear. I feel like he has this thing that he's going for. Like every performance I'm gonna do is gonna be memorable in some kind of art form. It's so cool. Him singing back with those videos of him as a kid not produce videos like that. People would just record on a camcorder. They got him discovered. That's one of my favorite things I've ever seen. Yeah, it's awesome. And so. And just. I don't know, I don't know if you guys watched any of it at all. But when I would see. When I woke up, I don't watch it live. When I woke up, I saw everybody hating on it. Cuz I was like, bieber just played youtubes and he got paid like 10 million to do the. Because it's two nights you have to do each weekend, he had to pay 10 million rumored the highest ever. And I was like, man, he didn't put any money. Maybe just want to save money on production. But no, it was the whole point of it. It was so good. He looked happy and healthy. And then he brought a couple guys that play guitar. He played guitar and he played guitar, and I think Ma don't like you. He's great. Good piano player, Good guitar player. It was awesome. So if you read things like, it sucked. It's just people not wanting to like Justin Bieber. But isn't he such a good singer?
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
The clubs I saw, like, I couldn't believe how great he sounded. You almost forget how talented he is vocally because of all the other stuff surrounding him. At times.
Bobby Bones
Sabrina Carpenter was really her. It looked like the beginning of her performance was a production that would roll into her performance, but it was all live. Like, it was black and white. And it was her getting out of these old school cars and. And you're like, oh, it's her. This is the production on the screen until she walks out. But it just changed. It's her. It was the whole time.
Morgan
That's cool.
Bobby Bones
And she would, like, step on the light. And then it kind of went to a Grease thing. Will Ferrell came out. Susan Sarandon played an old version. These are better than the super bowl halftime show, or they're at least the same as super bowl halftime shows as far as production message, that type thing. It's that I should say it's that type of investment as an artist would do for the super bowl halftime show. So is fantastic the beginning of the Bieber performance? If you don't listen to his new music, probably not for you, because it's just him. Vocally, it looked like inside of a skate park, but I don't think that's what that really was. Very minimal screens around him. But, man, when he went to the YouTube stuff, which was what he was getting crushed for the most, it was the absolute best. And so a plus. I give it a plus. But then I wonder, is he going to do the same set next weekend? Like, exactly the same. I feel like you'll change it. He has to a little bit, right? I think so.
Mike
He was responding to memes of himself too, wasn't he? I saw clips of him doing, like, basically responding to that video of him being like, is it not clocking to you? Because he was responding on stage to
Bobby Bones
that Me, that's great too, because that wasn't even a video of him doing music. That was like. It was showing, like, old paparazzi videos him. So I loved it. It was cool. Justin Bieber's cool. Sometimes I worry about him still, but it's cool. I don't know what Else. I don't know what else I want to say. I saw some of Teddy swims.
Morgan
Oh, that was cool.
Bobby Bones
He brought out Vanessa Carlton. He brought out Joe Jonas, I think came out and sang with him. I don't. I hope this doesn't affect it, and it won't, but I hope it doesn't cancel, but Vanessa Carlton is going to come do a Bobby cast with me. Oh, I've never met her.
Morgan
That's awesome.
Bobby Bones
We've tried for a long time. That's Vanessa Carlton does. I could walk into this a thousand miles. Yeah, there you go.
Amy
You know what it is to be with you.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So anything else from Coachella that either Morgan or Mike probably saw? Rude. No.
Mike
I saw the Sabrina Carpenter. I also saw that she decked out an entire gas station with her stuff. It was like, all Sabrina. And I don't know because obviously it wasn't there. I don't know if it was a real gas station or if it was one that they created, but there was old cars there. They turned it into, like. It was like, Sabrina Hollywood. I mean, she took over the entire city. Like, I was really impressed with. I think I'm always impressed with marketing, the way that they come about promoting themselves. And she just, like, took over the entire city when there's how many artists there. And it was. It was almost like it was just a Sabrina show.
Bobby Bones
It is really hard to get out there.
Morgan
Coachella. Yeah, it's not.
Bobby Bones
It's in India. California. India.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
It sucks. That's all. Those billboards are so expensive on the way out there. There's nothing out there except those billboards. And so artists buy those billboards now. They turn them over pretty quick. But it is. It's. I don't even, like. I mean, I've never been a festival guy, but now that sounds like.
Morgan
Oh, yeah, when I was younger, that's. I mean, doable for sure.
Bobby Bones
Younger. I didn't want to do it younger.
Amy
But now definitely not.
Bobby Bones
No. Thank you. No chance. I'd rather go to a soccer game.
Amy
Some people have those. Like, they got the. The car camping spot, so they park their car and then they set up tents and they're sleeping out there. And they're using these, like, community showers, like, are in these trailers.
Bobby Bones
Like, it's a young man's game for sure.
Amy
They look like they're having fun, though.
Bobby Bones
But even as a young man, wasn't my game. I was never in that game. So, yeah, that's just some thoughts from watching Coachella back, because they do have, like, A Coachella replay channel. I think it's on YouTube, where you can just watch the whole performance shot from the Coachella canvas.
Morgan
Yeah. Yeah, some. I mean, I've seen. I've seen it before. I didn't see it this year, but I've seen it before live. When they stream it live. It's pretty cool. I saw Sabrina doing ACL Fest live, and that was really cool. Luke Combs was doing ACL Fest. I love it when they stream festivals live because, I mean, I'm like, in my bed.
Amy
Yeah.
Morgan
I'm not in that crowd. I love it.
Mike
Did you see that? I think it's Selena Gomez that got. And I need to verify it, that she got almost kicked out.
Bobby Bones
Okay. So I need you to verify this too, because I saw it too. And then supposedly it's an Instagram story, but then everybody fakes everything so much where security got her, wouldn't let her in. I didn't care enough to continue evaluating if it was real or not. I did go down into the comments, and people were like, if she put that up as an Instagram story, it's no longer there. So I would bet, based on what I saw, that did not happen.
Mike
Okay. It's seeming like it didn't. And it was.
Amy
It was going viral.
Bobby Bones
It's fake. Yeah. Because Bieber was playing. Everybody knows the Selena Bieber stuff is gonna get play. So I think that's probably what they were hoping, is that that caught on. So it wasn't real.
Amy
Yeah.
Mike
And it would shock me if she would post it because of all the stuff around it that she would post that she was trying to watch him. I don't know.
Bobby Bones
So.
Amy
Yeah. Not real.
Bobby Bones
Not real. Mike. Yeah, Morgan. Fake screenshot. Good deal. Woman bit into a Nature Valley crunchy granola bar and found some crunchy nature. A bird feather.
Morgan
Oh, Nature Valley.
Bobby Bones
You want nature?
Morgan
There it is.
Bobby Bones
You should pay extra. You should have to go back and give them an extra dollar. Most nature of all, shocked and disgusted, she shared the discovery online and criticized the manufacturer. Something else. I don't know how scandalous or salacious this is, but Morgan says she found out a secret about somebody. I just don't know what the secret is. So I don't know if.
Morgan
About one of us. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I learned a big secret about someone from the show is all I know.
Amy
Yeah, let's hear it.
Bobby Bones
What if it's you? Are you willing to take that risk?
Amy
I guess so.
Morgan
You have to confess if it's you.
Mike
I love how everybody's like, wait, what? That's happening.
Bobby Bones
What is. Who is it about?
Mike
It's about Lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
Okay, we're in then. Go ahead.
Mike
But it's not.
Bobby Bones
We automatically wrap.
Morgan
Chip.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
What is it?
Morgan
Wait, you're looking at me.
Mike
It's because of Eddie. So you know how Eddie was doing his big voice acting show, the podcast?
Bobby Bones
Do you know about this?
Morgan
I do know about it. And the fact that she's bringing this up is I'm not doing her podcast anymore. I'm going to declare right now, I'm not doing it.
Bobby Bones
I'm helping.
Morgan
I'm not doing the podcast anymore.
Mike
I'm helping you out because I know listeners are going to call it out. So he mentioned on Best Vids that he's doing that voice acting for the podcast. Right.
Bobby Bones
For some random podcast.
Mike
And I guess the guy mentioned to Eddie that he wanted to also get Lunchbox a role in doing it. And Eddie said, no, you can't ask Lunchbox to be a voice actor.
Morgan
Yeah. I mean, yeah. Wouldn't you? You're the star.
Amy
You already have it. So, like, you already have it. No, it's not a threat to you.
Eddie
I was like, that's the threat. Eddie's scared.
Morgan
I said, why do you want Lunchbox?
Bobby Bones
You don't. He.
Morgan
Dude, honestly, why?
Bobby Bones
Probably wants. He wants more people on the show because the person will get more. Us talking about the podcast. Right.
Morgan
And I was like, nah, you don't want to do that. You don't want to do that.
Bobby Bones
Well, I mean, I think you blocked it for a different reason. I also don't want everybody on the show getting on the podcast.
Morgan
Exactly.
Bobby Bones
Something that we're not even involved in.
Morgan
That's what I'm saying.
Bobby Bones
No, that's not what you're saying.
Eddie
You're blocking him because you're a hater.
Bobby Bones
Yes, because you're a hater.
Morgan
Like, no, man, you don't want Lunchbox. He's going to take over the whole show. He's going to, like, overdo things. You don't want them on. You don't want them on here.
Bobby Bones
That's a hater.
Eddie
You're a hater.
Morgan
You know who's a real hater? Morgan. Like, I. I thought I was talking to her.
Bobby Bones
Wait, did you say it on the microphone?
Morgan
Yeah, I know, but it's just between us.
Bobby Bones
It's not. Then it's out there. So that's not a secret.
Amy
Yeah. It'll take two seconds for listeners to start emailing that in.
Morgan
Well, they didn't and Morgan did.
Amy
I think I email things in on Me, if I say something on there, they're like, oh.
Morgan
And I just said it, you know, in passing. Just like, Yeah. I mean, he mentioned it and I was like, nah, you don't want to do that. So he said, yeah, you did it
Bobby Bones
for a hater reason. But I would have suggested it not happen anyway because we can have everybody from the show doing some random dudes podcast who is just wanting people on the show so he gets more clicks on his podcast.
Morgan
Do you think that's why he has me? Probably not. Because of my voice acting talent.
Bobby Bones
I mean. No, you're low to mid.
Morgan
You know, my. My son did say, like, dad, you're like, you're. You're popping off these days.
Eddie
Oh, here we go.
Morgan
You know, like Bobby Cast, you're on Netflix. You're doing this, this voice acting thing like you're killing it.
Bobby Bones
The fact that he would compare the two hurts my feelings.
Morgan
What do you mean? I don't think this. I don't think it's the fact that I'm doing this guy's podcast. I think it's that I'm doing voice acting. Just.
Bobby Bones
You're not voice acting on the Netflix?
Morgan
No, no, no, no, no. On this other podcast. So it's like, yeah, I'm on a radio show in the mornings. That's awesome.
Bobby Bones
Are you getting paid?
Morgan
For what? For what?
Bobby Bones
This guy's podcast.
Morgan
Oh, whatever they make, like whatever that percentage. That percentage we talked about.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, which is why he wants people on it.
Morgan
To make more.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, because you talk about it, more people go over to it. I mean, it's not a dumb move on his part.
Morgan
I know, but he didn't say Amy. Like, I think of Amy. Like, sure, a female counterpart would be cool.
Amy
Like, I've.
Bobby Bones
I'm not worried about Amy's getting offended now.
Amy
I would do it.
Morgan
You. You would do it, right? Amy? Yeah, And I would be like, Amy would be great at it, but I don't.
Eddie
Yeah, because you're a hater. Because you, you.
Bobby Bones
You are a hater.
Eddie
Yeah, you are.
Morgan
Why am I a hater?
Bobby Bones
Because you blocked him for a different reason.
Morgan
I blocked him because. Why is he going to jump? Would he let me go on prices right with him?
Bobby Bones
No, as a matter of fact, he didn't. Well, he didn't want you even going to. No, no, it is kind of. You're all hate. You all hate on each other for reason.
Morgan
Exactly.
Bobby Bones
Because when we said we're going to send Amy, lunchbox starts freaking out going, we can't send her. We can't send her.
Morgan
Right?
Eddie
Because, guys, that was me, like, saying, oh, my gosh, she'll get on there before me. It was a joke. I already knew I was on, so I didn't give a crap. She went, yeah, you did. But I really didn't like. That was the joke.
Bobby Bones
Didn't want you to go. The same reason Eddie didn't want him on.
Morgan
Same deal.
Bobby Bones
You all don't want other people to get stuff so you can have your thing.
Morgan
Right?
Bobby Bones
Because if you get on prices right after he's been on, it takes away some of his shine for him getting on because he's the one that got on.
Amy
Okay, well, it's not only that.
Eddie
We as good as mine.
Morgan
Like. Like, what if I got my own Netflix show? Would you want me? They were like, netflix? Hey, we kind of want to do the same thing with you, but with Eddie.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Morgan
You'd be like, no.
Geico Gecko
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Because I'm not insecure about it.
Eddie
That's what you are. You're insecure.
Morgan
I'm not insecure.
Eddie
You are.
Bobby Bones
You absolutely are. I think it would be awesome.
Morgan
Have they asked you that about you? Yeah, like, hey, that guy that you do that.
Bobby Bones
I don't think. I don't think it's come up yet.
Morgan
Oh, nothing yet.
Amy
That's nice.
Morgan
Yet.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it hasn't come up yet, but it possibly could.
Morgan
And it's. It all came from a question of, like, a listener asked, like, are you jealous of Lunchbox? And I said, no, I'm not jealous of Lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
You are.
Morgan
But I did do this one thing, and that's what I said.
Bobby Bones
The jealousy does go around within the room.
Amy
I've had it before.
Morgan
The jealousy. Jealousy bug.
Amy
Yeah. I don't know what. But, I mean, that's just information for me. And I've leaned into it sometimes a little too much, but then I. The. Like, if. It depends on if. Who would you get jealous of hormonally? What's going on?
Morgan
You?
Amy
No, not you.
Bobby Bones
You shouldn't be jealous of anybody.
Morgan
Hey.
Eddie
Yeah, you got the room with a butler.
Bobby Bones
Just me and you talking here.
Amy
Stop. Hey.
Bobby Bones
Hey.
Morgan
Is it me? Amy? No, it's not jealous of me.
Eddie
I mean, you have a room with a butler. What do you want?
Amy
I mean, no, I'm admitting that you're all good.
Morgan
So give us example.
Amy
You were just saying it happens in the whole room and.
Bobby Bones
No, I'm saying everybody comes toward. Like, it just goes, eddie gets jealous of Lunchbox. They get jealous of you.
Amy
Eddie, I think you should admit that
Bobby Bones
maybe there is something it's not jealousy.
Morgan
It's more competition. Like, I'm competitive.
Amy
Okay.
Eddie
They're jealous.
Morgan
Jealousy.
Amy
Yeah, it could be.
Eddie
You're jealous because you're worried I'm going to outshine you, and that's why you're like, oh, I can't do it.
Bobby Bones
Insecurity. We all have them in different ways.
Amy
Yes. And I think that depending on what's going on in your life at the moment, like what your filter is at the moment. And yeah, for me, hormonally, that's because sometimes when I'm out of it and I'm in a better place, I'm like, why was I thinking that way? I built a whole story.
Bobby Bones
It's coming.
Morgan
Lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
There's no need.
Amy
Anybody, like everybody at different points shouldn't
Bobby Bones
be jealous of anyone.
Amy
Okay, Bobby.
Morgan
Have you been jealous of Bobby?
Amy
No. That's. Because. That's different. He, like, I don't.
Morgan
You don't want.
Amy
He showed me his stress levels from running the show. That's okay. I'm good. But also.
Bobby Bones
Hey, you're good.
Amy
I don't.
Morgan
Hey, you're good.
Amy
Okay, never mind.
Morgan
What about us? Are we good? Are we good?
Bobby Bones
No. Yes. No, we're good.
Amy
Everybody's good.
Bobby Bones
Everybody's good.
Amy
We don't need to. Everybody has their own.
Bobby Bones
Everybody has their own Lane. Lame.
Amy
You're like my kids in a different role, and we should be supporting each other, not being jealous of each other.
Bobby Bones
I agree with that.
Morgan
We do support each other, though.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, both. Both can happen.
Morgan
Yeah, we do. We do that.
Bobby Bones
But you definitely hate her on Lunchbox.
Morgan
I blocked him.
Bobby Bones
You hated.
Morgan
I felt like I had my thing there.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Morgan
And, like, he didn't need Lunchbox in it. You know what I mean? That's. That's my thing.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you hated on him and that. Showbiz, baby.
Morgan
Showbiz.
Bobby Bones
He haters on people. You hate her on him. He haters on you. You guys hate her on Morgan. Sometimes it's all hater. That's okay.
Eddie
I've never hated on Hatered on Morgan.
Bobby Bones
Morgan went on a trip to cover a red carpet, and you were like, oh, my God, if she's going to Vegas to do this, how come I don't get to do that crap?
Morgan
You remember that?
Eddie
No, I don't remember. That was probably true.
Bobby Bones
All right, let us take a break. We're going to do a couple things, and then we're also going to do. I'm going to do the full ACM preview. So let's take a break. Some people have a Starbucks order depending on their mood. Morning coffee weekend. Something ice but fun. But now afternoons have a new go to because Starbucks just launched their new energy refreshers. This is perfect for me. They're the Starbucks refreshers flavors that everyone already loves, like the strawberry acai pink drink. Yep. Good. Dragon drink. Yep. Good. Now with an added boost of caffeine to power you through the day. Plus you can try new flavors like the Mango Strawberry Energy refresher or the Mango Dream energy drink. They're bright, they're fruity, they're super refreshing, and they're perfect when that afternoon slump hits. Whatever flavor you like, Starbucks energy refreshers are exactly what you need to take on the moments that matter. So next time the afternoon slowdown kicks in, head to your nearest Starbucks and try one of the new energy refreshers or order one right now on the Starbucks app.
Amy
We're lost. If the show starts without us, there's no hiding in the back row. I'm gonna ask that man for directions. Hi there. We're trying to get to the comedy club.
Brandon
Well, you're gonna take a left at the old oak tree at this here road.
Bobby Bones
Nah, I'm just kidding. Let me get my phone out.
Amy
How is their signal out here?
Brandon
T Mobile and US Cellular are coming together. So the network out here is huge. We get the same great signal as the city, saving a boatload with benefits. And there's a five year price guarantee too. Okay, here's the turn.
Amy
Actually, can you pull up the way
Bobby Bones
to a T mobile store?
Brandon
America's best network just got bigger. Switch to T Mobile today and get built in benefits the other guys leave out. Plus our five year price guarantee. And now T Mobile is available at US Cellular stores and in Hermiston. Best mobile network based on analysis by OOKLA of speed test intelligence data. Second half of 2025. Bigger network. Geico Gecko
And now for a bit of breaking news. Between your breaking news with me, the Geico gecko, here are some things you ought to know today. People who switch their car insurance to geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know. Also, plants can hear when bees buzz. My ficus just heard that. And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there.
Eddie
It feels good to get good news.
Bobby Bones
It Feels good to Geico.
Amy

Morgan
Woo.
Bobby Bones
The Bobby Bone Show. Everybody roll.
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
A couple things. One, Casey Musgraves had some UFOs chasing her plane. This happened on Friday. So we weren't able to get to it. And I saw the video and the pictures and then people like, they always will, they will find the quote unquote real reason. And so people were like, no, it's Starlink. No, it's. That's bizarre looking. Yeah, it was when the video came out.
Amy
Well, and she said she also talked to the pilots and they had had experiences with them too and they were flying. Like one was like, I was coming from here and the guy was like, I was in New York there. And they were perplexed by it. It seemed is the way she was telling the story. But she, what I loved is she's like, I see things all the time.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, see that's where you get in trouble.
Amy
No, no, I don't think so. Because I think.
Bobby Bones
No, no, I know, I know. And justice for Casey.
Amy
Yeah. You have to be open to. I think the more open you are to it, which seems like she is, the more you see.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but it's people that see stuff all the time that you don't believe because if it happens all the time, we think we would see something.
Amy
Yeah. But then she comes with video evidence.
Bobby Bones
And the video evidence and justice for Casey. This was weird. But like Eddie's brother saw a ufo.
Morgan
Yeah. Yeah. But all his stories start with I was having a couple beers and I saw blank.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You know.
Amy
Well, my cousin's seen them Your cousin's a psychic and she's sober.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So Casey Musgraves made headlines. Well, she's a psychic. She claims to be. Just so all the listeners know, when I say she's a psychic, I don't really think she's a psychic, but I can't prove she's not.
Amy
Yeah, but the UFOs have nothing to do with her.
Bobby Bones
But my point is ability. I know. I just wanted to put that into higher levels context that needs to be shared, though.
Amy
Sure, share that context. But I'm saying aside from the higher level of consciousness she claims to obtain, Eddie's brother's stories start with alcohol. Hers do not.
Morgan
She is sober, but hers start with I'm a psychic.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, so it's almost like the alcohol thing. I know. I'm saying.
Amy
Okay, okay, I see your point. I see your point.
Bobby Bones
Casey Musgraves made headlines over the weekend when she not only made claims her jet was followed by UFOs, but posted videos of the encounter. They were 50,000ft up. We watched them for 45 minutes. The orbs were coming and going, forming triangle patterns. So I'm with Casey. Justice for Casey. I think she saw what she saw. And there's videos with arrows. Follow the arrow. Follow your arrow is what I would say. Follow your arrow. So there's that. That's number one. Now, speaking of psychics, I asked Amy randomly on Thursday morning, I said, go into your sports psychic brain and pick a letter, any letter, and she picked the letter R. So I put 100 bucks on Rory McIlroy to win the Masters. Just because you said R. I wouldn't have. Because he won it last year. There's only been three other times until this time that that's happened in the history.
Amy
Oh, okay.
Bobby Bones
So a little bit. I was like, yeah, she can't. That's probably not gonna be right. But I bet Rory.
Amy
Well, I wasn't even picking him specifically.
Bobby Bones
I just hit R. He won.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I bet 100 bucks I won. Thirteen hundred dollars.
Amy
You're welcome. Thirteen hundred dollars.
Bobby Bones
I got the betting slip here if you want. No, we don't cut it. I'll buy you a little lunch or something. I'll get you a lunch or something.
Amy
Okay, but coffee.
Bobby Bones
I had so many messages from listeners going. Because he led after every day. That almost never happens either.
Amy
Oh, well, I saw something. Maybe after Saturday. Did he go down one day or something? And they were a little.
Morgan
Saturday.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Such a lead through the first two days. Didn't have a good day. On day three, which is Saturday. And then, you know, bounced around a little bit yesterday, but won it. And it's like a gamey Amy.
Morgan
I'm convinced.
Amy
That's crazy.
Eddie
She.
Bobby Bones
She's.
Amy
I mean, I'm not even. I'm not batting a thousand. But.
Bobby Bones
But still, even when you picked Iowa, I said, pick a team, and you said, I don't know, I see all these things, and it ends up being Iowa. They went way further in the NCAA tournament than they finger quote, should have. I don't know, man. It may be running your family well.
Amy
So I've told you. Fun fact about my cousin is we're not really your blood.
Bobby Bones
I know, but what's even blood, right? I don't even know what blood is at this point. Is that even real? Are we real? We in a simulation? Exactly. Okay, well, did you hear Jim Nance? He said your name. He said. And Amy called it. Right?
Morgan
He did.
Bobby Bones
We cut that part out. But here's the clip of Rory winning.
Eddie
Rory is a rare repeat winner at Augusta.
Bobby Bones
So how it sounded. Sorry we cut it out. But he goes, I can't believe it. Amy is right again on the Bobby Bones Show. And then he said,
Eddie
rory.
Bobby Bones
They cheered at him saying that rare repeat winner, Jim, good for you.
Amy
Thanks for the shout out. Jim.
Bobby Bones
Good for you. Psychic again. I don't want to waste it, though. Like, I don't want to go to the well too many times.
Morgan
Right?
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Did you knew he won?
Amy
I. Yes, I looked it up last night, but it didn't.
Bobby Bones
You. It didn't come across anything?
Amy
No. Last I had heard across my feed was a random girl breaking down that it was crazy that Rory was ahead and then behind. So now it was Sunday was getting real interesting. So she's like, can't wait to watch. And then winners never came across my feed. My feed was full of Master stuff, but mostly people I don't follow that are there and they were doing their merch hauls.
Bobby Bones
Like Masters makes a million bucks a day in merch.
Amy
Well, I think this year they probably made more because I feel like more influencers were there than ever before. My feed has never looked like this regarding the Masters, and I've never seen more hauls of people buying more hats and shirts and gnomes and bracelets and mahjong.
Morgan
What is that?
Amy
That's the domino game. But they have a special Masters one which did look super cute. I don't even play mahjong. I don't even know if I'm saying it right.
Bobby Bones
Sounds good to me, but it looks
Amy
like when you read it, I mean, people. Yes. Like, they were spending thousands and thousands of dollars on this merch.
Bobby Bones
Thank you for the windfall of cash.
Amy
Well, yeah, speaking of thousands of dollars.
Bobby Bones
You said it. I bet it. And I feel pretty. I've been pretty good about it. I never win on golf. I never bet at the beginning and
Morgan
win at the end.
Bobby Bones
I don't bet much golf. Hey, so shout out DraftKings. But mostly shout out Amy.
Annabe Sofa Advertiser
You're welcome.
Bobby Bones
In Eddie's neighborhood, some we think kids have been graffiti ing different buildings, different signs. And so some of the dads formed a watch group. And so it was your night to stay up.
Morgan
Yeah, I told them since my work schedule's kind of like, crazy during the week, I would do Friday and Saturday night.
Bobby Bones
I saw your Instagram. Yeah. So what time did you actually go on duty?
Morgan
10:00pm 10:00pm sharp.
Bobby Bones
And what was duty?
Morgan
Sitting in front of my house on the driveway with a little camping chair, flashlight, binoculars, that kind of stuff.
Amy
Like, if he's there with his flashlight, they're going to be like, okay, let's avoid that area.
Morgan
Well, what if I see something old
Bobby Bones
man in the front yard? Don't go near.
Morgan
As if I see something moving in the bushes, I'm going to shine a light on it. What is it? Raccoon Vandal.
Bobby Bones
Is your neighborhood small enough though, that from your yard you could pretty much see anywhere they were tagging?
Morgan
No, I can see my street. And then where? I guess like a. An entrance to another street. Because my neighborhood is really only like two or three streets, so I can kind of see if a car comes up and goes to any of those streets. Kind of at a good spot to kind of see if anyone enters our neighborhood.
Bobby Bones
Do you ever get in the car and drive around?
Morgan
No. No. Because he told me I'd been drinking. I already had, like, because before I got on duty, I had a couple
Bobby Bones
of beers, was on duty. Was this a just a reason to drink?
Morgan
No, man. It was a reason really, to, like, just kind of have some awareness in the neighborhood. Some eyeballs. Because everyone just goes to sleep thinking everyone's. Everyone's okay, no one's outside. But, guys, there's some movement in the middle of the night. So what did you may not know?
Bobby Bones
Birds. Raccoons.
Morgan
Yeah, raccoons. I really. I didn't see anything. Like, I saw a couple people come in late, saw some people, like, like, what's that, dude? Where is he coming from? It's like almost midnight.
Bobby Bones
But nobody spray paintings. And you were awake the whole night?
Morgan
Well, not kind of. So about like 12:30 midnight, 12:30. Kind of got a little sleepy, so I decided to move it in the house. But I've moved a couch to the front window so I can still kind of see.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, of course.
Morgan
And then I passed out. I think I passed out probably about like 1245. 1.
Bobby Bones
Did you wake up and it was daylight?
Amy
Yes.
Morgan
My wife was like, where have you been? I was like, I told you I was on duty tonight.
Bobby Bones
And that was just night one.
Morgan
Or that was night one. And then I gave up on night two. I just didn't. I didn't do it.
Amy
Okay, so this was shocking. Nothing.
Morgan
Well, guys, guys, I can't stay up late. Like, we had Church on 8am but
Bobby Bones
all this was known, though, before you. I know when on duty.
Morgan
I think we're just gonna do cameras. I think that's the best thing to do. Maybe some wildlife cameras.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you can. Trail cameras. Stuff like that.
Morgan
Yeah, stuff like that.
Amy
Yeah. And that's gonna be, like, less. They're gonna be deterred if they see a man in a chair with a flashlight.
Morgan
Exactly.
Amy
Trail cam. They're not, as they're more likely to continue their behavior.
Morgan
Well, I thought too, like. Like, I was thinking the whole time, because I was by myself. I'm like, man, if I'm like, you know, if I run into them, what am I gonna do? Really? Like, what if they come towards me,
Bobby Bones
take pictures of them and call the cops?
Morgan
Okay. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
No, not now. It's over.
Morgan
Well, no, I know, but I started thinking too, like, it's kind of cool that I would deter them, you know, like, to. To kind of avoid any kind of confrontation.
Bobby Bones
Did they spray anything?
Morgan
Nothing.
Bobby Bones
Okay, guys, is this another example of Eddie committing to something and then not doing it?
Eddie
Ding, ding, ding.
Amy
I think he also said he wanted to be taken more seriously this year.
Morgan
No, I'm being serious.
Eddie
He quit after two hours.
Bobby Bones
He seriously went to sleep.
Morgan
I did. I did. I started my night watch. I did start it. I just didn't finish it. And to be fair, I fell asleep at the window. So, like, I was still kind of on duty. Just fell asleep on duty.
Bobby Bones
So if they would have come to your window and knocked, you would have woke up for sure.
Morgan
Yes, and I would have seen them.
Bobby Bones
Were you disappointed with yourself when you woke up?
Morgan
A little bit, yeah. Because I figured I would last till about 5am Little crack of dawn, then I would go to sleep.
Bobby Bones
Do you tell the dads?
Morgan
No.
Bobby Bones
You fell asleep?
Morgan
They have no. They have no Idea.
Bobby Bones
So as far as they know, nobody spray painted because you were on duty.
Morgan
I told them. I told them on Saturday because I saw one of them on Saturday. I'm like, he all good. Friday night. All good. I'm gonna try tonight. But, guys, no promises. I got church in the morning. So they're like, hey, do your thing. It's fine.
Bobby Bones
Hey, you did it all the way Friday night. We can't expect two nights from it. They put out a poll. Who do you think is the most beloved public figure in the United States right now? It's a tough question. It's like, when I give you the answer, you'll go, duh. But it's a hard question to throw at Jamie the Rock. No, but that's a pretty good guess. It's Dolly.
Amy
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
So Dolly Parton is the most beloved public figure in the US by far. The annual University of Massachusetts YouGov poll has her topping the list. Do you want 1, 2, 3, 4? Add the top six positive and then negative.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Dolly Parton at 1 at plus 65. Obama at 2, plus 14. Zelensky at 3 from Ukraine, plus 13. Taylor Swift, George W. Bush, and Bernie Sanders all make the positive list. And they're making sure they go to people on both sides of the aisle, all ages.
Amy
Yeah, obviously.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you're right. If there's a George W. Bush.
Morgan
And.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, so it's Dolly, Obama, Zelensky, Taylor, George W. Bush, Bernie Sanders. You want to do most unpopular? The most unpopular person is not American.
Morgan
Okay.
Bobby Bones
You got it?
Morgan
Yeah. Go Putin.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Okay, that. Yeah, that tracks.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. It's basically him and Satan. Yeah, but Satan didn't make the list because. So negative. AOC that's how you know this is both sides.
Eddie
Who's AOC Great question.
Amy
No, you know her. You know her.
Bobby Bones
Are you kidding? You too?
Amy
No, Lunchbox does. Let me show you.
Morgan
Do Lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
No, no, no. Don't. Don't. Amy, don't show them.
Amy
Okay.
Eddie
I mean, that's their name. Aoc.
Morgan
Or is it initials?
Eddie
Like, that's what I'm saying.
Bobby Bones
No, it's initials. Okay. AOC Congressperson.
Eddie
Does she have black hair?
Bobby Bones
She's dark hair.
Eddie
I think I know you're talking about that.
Morgan
Well, what's her name?
Amy
He definitely.
Eddie
I don't know her name, but Kamala
Bobby Bones
Harris, second most negative. J.D. vance and Taylor Frankie Paul or negative 10.
Annabe Sofa Advertiser
Oh, wow.
Eddie
Taylor, Frankie Paul. My poor girl.
Morgan
I say.
Bobby Bones
I say the vice president and then the Mormon. What's the reaction from Lunchbox? I know her.
Amy
If you had said tfp, he'd been like, Taylor Freball.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So, okay, so at negative six was AOC. At negative 11 was Kamala Harris, J.D. vance and Taylor Frankie Paul. At negative 10, Gavin Newsome, governor, California, negative 14, Elon Musk, negative 16. Trump, negative 18. Netanyahu at 19. And then Zuckerberg and Putin were the bottom two. So bottom three were Trump, Netanyahu and Putin.
Amy
I thought Putin was one.
Bobby Bones
No, no, he's.
Morgan
That would be the worst.
Bobby Bones
The worst. The bottom.
Amy
Oh, gosh.
Bobby Bones
One on the bad side. Yeah, got it at negative 65.
Morgan
So you think those people care that they're rated that? I think negative. If.
Bobby Bones
And a little bit of the philosophy is if you are so loved by one side, you're also going to be so hated by the other. And there's a little bit of that here, too, especially with the political people on the list, especially the ones that are kind of in the middle politically, like the AOCs, the George W. Bush, the Burn. Those are kind of. There's just a couple points. But yeah, it only good for Putin.
Morgan
Sorry, man.
Bobby Bones
I don't feel like he's got much of a future here in the States.
Amy
I mean, but Zuckerberg.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah, Zuckerberg is the devil.
Amy
Yeah, that's. Who would have thought. Who would have thought? Not me.
Bobby Bones
You wouldn't have.
Amy
Well, not a while back. Now more is coming out where you're just like, oh, interesting.
Bobby Bones
When you watch Social Network, you wouldn't have thought the movie. But, yeah, no, I don't get it. You guys can leave us a voicemail. 877-7-Bobby. That's our number. 877. You can also call us live. We're here. 877. Welcome to the ACM Award nominees prediction, prognostication, best bet show. It's a very long title that I just made up. And so we're going to go through all the nominees for the ACM Awards. I'm not going to pick who I like the most, and this is an odd thing for me to do because I like a lot of these artists, I know a lot of these artists personally, and it's going to be weird when I pick against some of them. So it's not going to be personal opinion of what I like or thinks the best, but what I'm going to do is try to pick who I think is going to win based on how the voting is done. Which means I think at times there can be confusion on these award shows. And I get it. There's a lot of letters acm, cmas, cmts. But ass all. There are lots of words, lots of letters. So acms and cmas. But this is the acms. For example, I'm a voting member of the acms. You could work in radio, you can work for a record label, you can work for a management company, you can work as a producer. You have to be in the industry to be allowed to be a member of the acm. So this is not a fan vote. This is not even a data. It would be a vote, but you don't win because of data either. It's people in the industry voting for people in the industry. Now, it is a large voting block, so it's not 20 or 30 people. It's not sure how many people there are, but I'll just say thousand. So what I'm going to do is predict, based on how these awards go, who will win. I throw on some of my own flavor as well. But we can start with Entertainer of the Year. Now the nominees are. And there are seven of them. It feels like that's way too many. I feel like the Oscars at some point started to include a lot of extra movies, like movies that normal people would watch, not just ones they thought were good. And so it's like when the Oscars roll out movie of the year, there's 41 nominees for movie of the year. And that's mostly so more people can be involved. More people. It's starting to feel a bit like this because all seven of these people are really awesome and worthy. But seven feels like too many. And it can also really splinter the vote. If it were me, 4 max 5, it'd be like Pro Football hall of Fame. You know, you take top and even if the other ones are close or be like the Heisman, that should be the better one. You know, there's always seven or eight. Put the whole list out, one through eight. But really the ones that are up in that top echelon, they go to New York. But here we go. Entertainer of the Year nominees are Luke Combs, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Megan Maroney, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen, and Lainey Wilson. Some artists are at a disadvantage if they have a small management company, a small record label, because again, you need all your people to just kind of galvanize and, and, and vote as much as possible. And they have put different protocol in place to where you can't really block vote like the old days. There's still some elements to that, but it's pretty legitimate within the industry, how this gets voted. But that being said, if you have two artists, for example, Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson, they're on the same record label, right? So are you gonna split the vote? Are you gonna have a conversation within a label, like, hey, we're putting our forces behind someone, so that's always something. If it were picked based on just data D a T A absolute facts, I'm talking streams and radio play and concert sales, and it would be Morgan Wallen. I think the thing, though, that hurts Morgan is that people know that Morgan dgaf, he does not give a F, and he probably ain't gonna show up. And so I do think that keeps people from voting for him, even though he should win the award. And there are artists that I listen to, obviously. Like, I listen to Stapleton way more than I would Morgan Wallen. And I like Morgan, but personally, I like Stapleton. I like Megan Maroney. I think Morgan Wallen should win this thing, but I don't think he will because of that. This year and like, other years, I mean, I think Lainey Wilson wins it. Again, not that she's not deserving,
Morgan
but
Bobby Bones
when all of the elements are in play on, like, who's voting from where and what artists don't care. And there. There will be some people that won't vote for Jelly Roll because there's still a little bit of that crowd of he ain't country. So all these factors are in play here. Really cool to see Megan Maroney be on the list. I'm a Megan Roni fan, big time. I think she is, in my opinion, the best new artist songwriter out there now. Now, I don't think she should win Entertainer of the Year, but it's pretty exciting to see her on this list. So I'm gonna go with Lainey Wilson. I predict she will win Entertainer of the Year. Next up, Female Artist of the Year. What's really interesting about female and Male Artists of the years is, well, there's gotta be a female or male that wins Entertainer of the Year for the most part. Whenever you're voting, myself included, when I vote for Entertainer of the Year. And let's just say I vote for Captain Crunch. Captain Crunch is a dude, so I'm not going to vote for Captain Crunch and the Male Artist of the Year either, because Male Artists of the Year or Female Artist of the Year is usually like a JV to the Entertainer of the Year. So if let's say Laney wins Female Artist of the Year, my money is on that she doesn't win Female Artist of the Year. Entertainer of the Year. If Laney wins Entertainer of the Year, my money's on she doesn't win female artist of the Year because everybody voting for her is going to vote for somebody else for the female Artist of the year award. And same thing with the males. So female Artist of the year probably goes to. The nominees are Kelsey Ballerini, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Megan Maroney, and Lainey Wilson. I think Ella Langley wins female artist of the Year this year. Male artist of the Year, Luke Combs, Riley Greene, Cody Johnson, Chris Stapleton, and Zach Topp. It's also weird they have male and female artists of the year still. That's also just a weird thing. I think the CMAs have male vocalist and female vocalist, but male Artist of the Year, based on voting, I'm going to think Cody Johnson or Riley Green wins this one because you're going to see people vote for people. They didn't vote for an entertainer of the year in the male Artist of the year category. So my predictions so far are not my favorites. My predictions, Lainey Wilson, Entertainer of the Year. Ella Langley, Female Artist of the Year. And I'm going to have to do the loser thing and go, it's going to be Riley or Cody in the Male Artist of the Year. Now, how does Luke Combs not win? Because there'll be enough people that think Luke Combs is going to win Entertainer of the Year that they won't vote for for Male Artist of the Year. It's bizarre, I'm telling you. But the people. Luke Holmes is going to get a lot of votes for Entertainer of the year, no doubt about it. But the people that vote for him there are not going to vote for a male artist of the year because they're like, we already voted for him there. And so, like, little things like that can keep somebody from winning an award. Not even that.
Brandon
It's political.
Bobby Bones
It's just how the voting works. Okay, next up, group of the year. This one's interesting because there are a lot of new groups in 49, Winchester, Flatland, Cavalry, Old Dominion, Rascal Flats and Red Clay Strays. So big shout out to 49 Winchester and Flatland for getting in. Old Dominion would win this every year. I think they won it every year since like 72. I think Brooks and Dunn won it for 31 years starting in 1908. And then old Dominion hit every year after that. Old Dominion, the down the middle choice, Red Clay Strays will probably win the award. The only hesitation I have about the strays winning the award and I call Them that because I'm cool. Because I was having them on my radio show before they were big. Because I, I like a lot of people, fell in love with them on Tick Tock and was like, you guys come. Gotta come do the show. They've blown up since then. I have had nothing to do with that. I'm not claiming that. I just was a semi too early believer in the Red Clay Strays because that's just the kind of music that I like now with 49 Winchester, flatline cavalry and the Red Clay Strays, those are all gonna split the cool guy votes because those are all three bands that people are like. We don't want commercial to win. So the. The only hesitation I have about predicting the Red Clay Strays win is that there are also two other cool guy bands in. And for the first time, the cool guy vote could actually split and it could go back to Old Dominion. But I'm going to go to Red Clay Strays. I think they win group of the year again. Duo of the year nominees are Brooks and Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Dan and Shea Muscadine. Bloodline and Thelma and James. I think this is a pretty easy Brooks and Dunn win. I'd like to explain why. First of all, big shout out to Thelma and James. I'm a fan. It's Mackenzie Porter and her husband and they are a duo. I would say I'm friends with them. They played on the cruise that we had and through they've been on my radio show. I like them a lot and they're awesome. I think they benefit from being a duo signed. There's not a lot of duos, but if that's what it takes for them to get notice is to be a new duo. Like Maddie and Tay didn't make the list because they broke up and there aren't a lot of duos. So my advice to people watching right now, be a duo. Get yourself nominated for an award. I like Thelma and James. They're not gonna win. They're way too new. Maskadine Bloodline. They are awesome. I don't think enough voters know enough about them. I think if they did, if they did, I think they would win. Like, they're that good. I don't think it's Dan and Shay. I obviously am great friends with Brothers Osborne. I love those guys. I don't know because they're. That they're. They're walking that line of commercially they're viable and also they're cool, but they're not fully cool or fully commercial like It's a weird. It's like being a tweener in the NBA. It's like being a 6, 9 power forward. Like, gotta be a little taller because you're not really a power forward but you are big enough and you're not really a guard, but you're brothers. Osborne is an NBA power forward tweener. Freaking awesome. But for that, I don't think they win. I think it's Brooks and Dunn because they are loved. They're not even putting out new music. They don't need to. They do put out those. Those albums called not duets. Re. Reboots. They got two of those.
Morgan
They're good.
Bobby Bones
I will say full disclosure. Full disclosure and mild flex. I'm very good friends with friends with Ronnie Dunn. That's my dude. My wife's very good friends with Ronnie's wife. They're from Oklahoma. Ronnie and I are both from Arkansas. I hope they win. I think they win. They're still selling out arenas. They're doing massive tours. They're doing bigger shows than any of the other groups as well. So if you feel like, well, they don't have hits right now. Okay. This is all not hit based. They're selling more shows, doing bigger shows than anybody else. But I don't need to explain why. Brooks and Dunn's awesome. They are a crown jewel in country music. Next up, new female artist of the year. Avery Anna, Mackenzie Carpenter, Dasha, Caroline Jones and Emily Ann Roberts. I know Emily Ann Roberts from watching, like, her stuff at the Opry and this is how I know Caroline Jones is wildly talented as a solo artist. Also, she plays in Zach Brown band. Have done a Bobby cast with her. I hope you check it out. I knew she was good when she came in. I then really liked her afterward. It was one of those situations. Dasha, she had the song Austin. That feels like that song was two years ago, though I think if that happens an earlier year, maybe Dasha wins it then. Mackenzie Carpenter, also very talented. I think Avery Anna is. I think Avery Anna is my pick and I think I have some bias coming through here. But not only is she a really good writer, she's a really good live performer. She's had songs go viral. She. In this land of. There's a lot of equality here because these are all really tremendous. Well, most of them like instrument. Like, they play instruments. They sing, they write. I'm gonna pick Avery Anna here because I think most people probably know her more than the others except for Dasha. And Dash has just been around a long time. That would be almost like me winning rookie radio person of the Year. I've been around for a while. Next up, New Male Artist of the Year, a bit similar. And I think the rule is. And I can have my guys fact check me on this, to be a new artist of the year means you just haven't been nominated for any of the other awards. You're still a new artist in the category. Because I know talking to Mitchell Tenpenny, who was nominated for Even Justin Moore won it and he had like six or seven years in back in the day. I think the rule is as long as you haven't been nominated for another acm, you can still be considered a new artist. So I'll have them look that up and as that I'll do New male artists. The nominees are. By the way, the new female artist is the hardest one for me to pick, but I'm gonna go. Avery Anna, New Male Artist of the Year. Gavin Adcock made a lot of waves. Has had a couple good songs. Like, I'm talking good, like commercially successful songs. He's had more songs that are good that aren't commercially successful. Vincent Mason. I'm a massive Vincent Mason fan. His type of music is the type of music that I like and listen to whenever I'm just driving my car. Shibuzzi Monster shouldn't be in this category, but I don't think he's been nominated for any of the other awards. Shaboozi's had Goliath type songs, like multiple number ones. If it were just which one of these artists is the biggest? Shibuzi wins that. But I don't know if people are going to vote for Shabuzzi because he's had multiple number ones. Not just number ones. I'm talking giganto number ones. And I wonder if people hold that against new artists if they're not actually new. Can you give me some feedback on the new artist? Yep, you can turn your mic on. What do you got?
Brandon
Yo, so they. They can't have won anything like you
Bobby Bones
said, can they be nominated for other things? They can be nominated for other. But they just. As long as you've never won an award, you can still be considered new artist.
Brandon
Considered. You have to have at least one single that's reached top 50 on Billboard and then, yeah, a minimum of three eligible submissions. So I mean, that could be really anybody.
Bobby Bones
So as long as you haven't won any other award, you can still be considered new artists. Hudson Westbrook. I really like Hudson's music and Tucker Wet more Same Like Tucker a lot. So this is a very strong category because you've had hits here. If you have to go off which of these artists has done the most, everybody needs to bow down to Shabuzzi and just be like, you are the new artist. God. However, what my feeling is is that people will go, he's not really a new artist so we're gonna vote for him because he's had I think three number ones at this point if I'm guessing and two of them at least were like multi week generational type. So I'm still going to go with Shaboozi. I'm going to go with Shabuzzi. He has to win. It's a pretty strong category. But I'm going with Shabuzzi because I think some people will do that. But I don't think enough will and I think there's enough of a split vote in some of these artists being similarly loved that have done similar, had similar success. So I'm going Shabuzzi there. Album of the year. What I'm very excited about here for album of the year again, I'm throwing some personal bias in there. I'm a massive Carter Faith F took her on the road and she opened shows for me and she does not give a crap. She does her own thing. She's always done her own thing. She's been doing the same thing for the last few years. How she makes music. She's. I'm so excited to see her get an album of the year nomination. She won't win because she's so new, but I could not be happier for Carter Faith to be in this category. You have Zach Topp ain't in it for my health. Riley Green. Don't mind if I do. Morgan Wallen, I'm the problem. And Parker McCollum. Parker McCollum. Okay, Morgan Wallen has to win this or I have to quit. Which would keep some of you guys from voting for him because you want me to quit. I get it. But Morgan Wallen has to win this. He can't go away empty handed. He should win entertainer of the year. My feeling is he won't because some people will hold that against him. But you can't hold because album of the year should very much be database. Like there should be a lot of data into this. Not just isn't my favorite. And I remember Parker McCollum talking about how this album didn't perform as much as well as his other ones, but he loves this one more. And like I totally feel that I don't think that every album has to be the top five streamed albums. That's like the billboard music awards. But the Morgan wallen album is loved, beloved. It's like 500 songs. Everybody knows the words, all of them. It has to be Morgan wallen. That's my pick for album of the year. Song of the year. A song to sing from Miranda and Stapleton. Am I okay? Megan Maroney. Ella Langley. Choosing Texas. I never lie. Zach top. Somewhere over Laredo. Laney Wilson. This one is a home run. I bet the farm I give you my shoes if I don't win this. Well, I'm not gonna win if I don't pick the winner. I love Megan maroney. Am I okay? Am I okay? That is a jam bop. It slaps all the things that people say about songs. It's not going to win, though. Ella langley, choosing Texas, has dug new trenches for 2025, 2026 in country music and crossover to where she didn't do anything to make that song crossover. She didn't add any instrumentation. She didn't, you know, put the kids from Annie singing background like hard knock life to appeal to people that don't like country music. It's a freaking jam of a song. It's country music, and it is a monster. It has to win song of the year or I quit. Why? Why would I even do this? Single of the year, same. So I tell llang. I mean, their nominees. Megan Maroney. Six months later. Zach top. I never lie. Lainey Wilson. Somewhere over Laredo. Cody Johnson. The fall. It's going to be Ella Langley. It has to be. It has to be. She's in Texas. The Megan Roni song is six months later. I don't like as much as am I. Okay. But it's still a great song. It's Ella Langley. It has to be. Or why are we doing this? What's the deal? Shut the show down. If she doesn't win, Go away. Music event of the year. That's always something where it's two people doing it. A lot of times, these are the ones shown before the show starts. They give these awards out at noon over bologna sandwiches. Like there's a cafeteria. Everybody come for bologna sandwiches. We're gonna give away some of the awards. Still big awards, but a lot of times this one doesn't make the actual show a song to sing. Miranda and Stapleton. Amen. Shaboozy and jelly roll. Don't mind if I do. Riley green and Ella Langley. Trailblazer, Reba Miranda and Lainey. And ha. You had to be there. Megan Maroney and Kenny Chesney. It's just like, I know how people vote in these, but sometimes I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and go, they're going to make the right decision here. And I know you're wondering, what do you think is the right decision? There's only one right decision. And what I'm going to do here is I'm going to say the right decision, and it doesn't mean nobody else is worthy. But if Shabuzzi and Jelly Roll. Amen. Don't win, doesn't matter if you don't like Shaboozy or Jelly Roll. That song kicked other songs in the nuts for, like, three weeks. It just kept kicking them in the nuts. Kept kicking them in the nuts. Kept kicking them. It probably would have if, you know, labels. Oh, we got to get it to number two. It's not my favorite song on there, but if it doesn't win, that's a travesty. Also, you can't give it to Riley and Ella again. They hit. They hit like, 17 awards last year for their other one. Excuse me. That was a good song. We can't just flip it up now and give it to him again. Boring. The Miranda song. Stan, These are good songs. The Moroni and Chesney song, Good song. It's got to be amen. And if it's not, you guys voted with your traditional cowboy hat brains and not your normal country music brains. Visual media of the year don't care. I don't even know what that means. Video Visual media of the year. Six months later. Megan Maroney. A song to sing. Miranda and Chris. Cuckoo. Steven Wilson Jr. Cuckoo.
Eddie
Oh, yeah.
Brandon
Cuckoo.
Bobby Bones
Cuckoo. Somewhere over there. Laredo. Lany Wilson. The fall. Cody Johnson. What I'm going to bet is this award is given to something about something that's visual and cool. If I'm a betting man, and I literally don't know, so if I'm just going to bet based on people also not knowing, they're going to probably pick something they're familiar with. And it's like Miranda and Chris. A song to sing because they'll be like me and go, like, I don't know what this means. I'm going to just pick two people I like. Songwriter of the year. Jesse Jo Dillon. Ashley Gourley. Charlie Handsome. Chase McGill, Blake Pendergrass. Now, Jesse Joe Dillon won it last year, and she is a boss. Actually, Gourley has written more number ones than anybody else in the history of country music. Charlie Handsome. Is the Post Malone. Morgan Wallen. Producer, writer. Like, he sets him up, knocks him down. And you have Chase McGill and Blake Pendergrass. Big years from them. I think some people without knowing about songwriting won't pick Charlie because they don't like handsome people. They're jealous. If his name was Charlie Ugly, I bet he'd win with the success that he's had. Does Jesse win again? Brandon, who do you think wins this one? You're more of a songwriter than any of us.
Brandon
Who are the nominees again?
Bobby Bones
You have Jesse, Joe Dillon, Ashley Gourley, Charlie Hansom, Chase McGill and Blake Pendergrass.
Brandon
Man, the year that Post Malone's had,
Bobby Bones
I would say Charlie Handsome. What if his name was Charlie Ugly? He definitely, definitely would win. Okay, so we go in. Charlie Handsome here.
Brandon
Charlie Ugly.
Bobby Bones
I mean, yeah, Charlie Handsome.
Morgan
Yep.
Bobby Bones
Which I like. Charlie. There's a Bobby cast with Charlie Handsome. You can. The guy's the. He's the quietest guy ever. And I knew that coming in. And we got him to open up and he was actually fun. And I have friends that are friends with him. Charlie Handsome, that's our pick there. And then finally, the artist Songwriter of the year. So this award honors artists who write or co write a significant portion of their songs. So Hardy's won before. Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson. I shall read you the nominees. Luke Combs, Riley Green, Ella Langley, Megan Maroney, Morgan Wallen. It's a solid list. I feel like Luke Combs will not win because his album is so new and that if he doesn't win, that's the only reason, because his album that just came out just came out. Riley Green did that song Pos Like Me on Facebook. Remember that? That was funny. My favorite writer is Megan Maroney. Like, new writer is Megan Maroney. So it's gonna be Megan or Ella. I'm gonna just go with those two because I don't want to pick based off simply bias who I think the voting pool will vote for. I think it's going to be one of those two. Ella or Maroney. And there you go. Now if I were to just pick based on who I think should win real quick. Entertainer of the Year. I think Morgan Wallen should win for the many reasons. Female Artist of the Year, Laney. But I don't think she will because I think too many people will vote for her for Entertainer of the Year. Male Artist of the Year, Riley. This is. If I were just giving the awards, which doesn't matter at all. Group of the Year. Flatland, Calvary. Maybe I'm biased because I have a Bobby cast coming up, but I do really like their music. Duo of the year, Brooks and Dunn. New female artist of the year. Avery Anna. She's boss. Look up her Ozzy Osbourne cover, no more Tears. She rocks it out. She's like a miniature Taylor Swift. She's like 24 years old with an electric guitar singing no More Tears. That's not even her style of music. It's awesome. New male artist of the year. I pick Shabuzzi because the fact that he hasn't won any other awards is kind of crazy, mostly because of all the success that he's had. Album of the year, my favorite. I would pick Carter, Faith, Cherry Valley, but I understand that's not going to win song of the year. It's like, I know choosing Texas should win this because it is by far the biggest, but if I were just going to go me, I'd go Megan Maroney. Am I okay? Just think that's it. And then all the rest of these. Who cares? What do you mean to do? That's why I saved this part for last. Anyway. Nobody cares who I pick, but I do have a vote. That's it. That is your ACM selection special. Good luck to everybody. Everybody deserves it. Everybody wins. Everybody loses. I do know, like, in some of these categories, there are people that absolutely hate each other, and. And they're praying not only that they win, but the person they hate doesn't win. And that is entertainment to me. All right, so good luck. And I think they're going to be on Amazon again. And I've been number two for the past two or three years. I've not been invited back yet. They've been doing Vegas stuff. They're like, we don't know. And so who knows? I'm going to be a part of it at this rate. I don't like flying to Vegas anyway. They don't even pay me, so who gives a crap? If they want me, I'll do a good job. I've saved that show the last couple years, though, when they were like, technical issues. Oh, God, what are we going to do? Just throw to Bobby and I'm running out with a microphone. That's my skill set. But so far, there's no bias to me being like, watch the acms because I'm not even on the show yet. But I do really enjoy a lot of this music, and I do really enjoy a lot of these people, and I'm very proud for them. And so Megan Maroney leads with nine nominations Miranda Lambert with eight, Ella and Laney with seven. Oh, here we go. The ACMs air live May 17th at 8:00pm Eastern on Prime Video. There you go. That was my best prediction of what the industry will vote for and then who I would vote for and who I will vote for.
