Bobby
It's time for the good news.
T-Mobile/US Cellular Announcer
Tell me something good.
Bobby
You wanna try our little activity again?
Amy
Sure. You want us to report something good?
Bobby
Last 24 hours from our lives? I'd have to think about this too.
Eddie
Yeah, it'd be tough. Let's see.
Bobby
Oh, it would be tough.
Eddie
I gotta dig deep in there, see if anything's good.
Amy
It is possible.
Bobby
Okay.
Amy
It's just a weird time right now. Things aren't terrible at all because, trust me, they've been terrible. They're just a little meh. But I can dig.
Unidentified Male Speaker
Dig deep.
Eddie
Let's dig.
Amy
I can dig. I cannot go first, but I can dig.
Bobby
Who wants to go first?
Unidentified Male Speaker
I'll go first. Go ahead, guys. For the first time in nearly three months, I went on the Soccer field and played soccer.
Bobby
Why three months?
Unidentified Male Speaker
Because I've had that pain and I thought if I stopped that it would just go away. And it never did. And then I got on Cialis and then I have testicular pain and I was like, you know what? And the doctor says, you're not going to make it any worse. Go out there and live your life. So I went out there and lived my life.
Amy
How is soccer?
Bobby
Are you running around with a boner?
Eddie
Oh, no, dude.
Bobby
What, in your soccer shorts? No. Oh.
Amy
But also, I don't think that him playing soccer is good for his insurance claim.
Bobby
Oh, yeah.
Eddie
Do you didn't play soccer. You thought about playing soccer, Dude.
Bobby
But if you're on Cialis and you're running around out there in shorts, that's dangerous.
Unidentified Male Speaker
I'll stand up right now.
Bobby
No, do not. Do not stay down. I got to do. Tell me something bad if that happens. Okay. Good for you.
Unidentified Male Speaker
Yeah. I mean I played 11 minutes out of a 50 minute game.
Bobby
That really is great.
Unidentified Male Speaker
But I. I did something.
Bobby
That's great. That's. That's cool. Amy, do you have something? Mm. You know, if you're not ready yet.
Amy
Not ready.
Bobby
Eddie.
Eddie
Oh, man. I'm not ready. Got ready, dude.
Amy
I have gratitude. Just give me a second.
Eddie
Same. Same. We're just in a season. We're in a season right now.
Bobby
I got a couple things that happened yesterday that I can share.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby
So I've been working on because I don't know when the last time was we interviewed Blake Shelton in here. It's been a while that we've had. And yeah.
Amy
Because the last time he was here, at least in person, I had to do it because you had to go. Cuz an emergency.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby
I don't. Again, I don't remember. And I remember Netflix show is launching on the 26th. Yep. And I thought it'd be good to sit down with Blake for 45 minutes or an hour. We. I've never actually done that ever as far as like on camera. So he doesn't live here. So he reached out and he was like, yeah, just come to town. I'll sit with you for an hour. So yesterday I got the word and so we're going out to la, Mike and I are, and sit with Blake for an hour. Record an interview for Netflix for the show. All that.
Eddie
That's good.
Bobby
That'd be good.
Eddie
That's really cool.
Bobby
Yeah, that's one. And then I got invited. I don't know if I can do it, but I got invited to be On a trivia team the Thursday night before the Super Bowl. Because there's two days we're just going to be. We're not staying for the game this year. But there's two days that we're going to be out there just doing interviews.
Eddie
I'm picturing like a bar.
Bobby
No, it's in a theater. Okay. It's in a theater. So Barstool does this. They have a massive tournament like Trivia league and Brandon Walker and pft. They were like, hey, come be on our team.
Amy
Do they know you have trivia skills?
Unidentified Male Speaker
Do they know you were like the Quiz Bowl?
Bobby
I don't know if I can do it though because I got to get, I gotta get back.
Eddie
No, you have to do this.
Bobby
I am not gonna stay long gone for any more than two days when my wife's pregnant. Good point. So I can't, I'm not gonna go.
Amy
That shifted quick.
Eddie
You can't do this. You have to get back.
Bobby
I told, I, I told her a long time ago. I was like, I'm not gonna be gone for any more than. And I have like three multiple trips coming up. It's like it can't be gone for any more than two days cuz she's pregnant and not. She didn't just get pregnant yesterday, you know. Yeah. So I don't know if I can. But it was nice to be invited. I gotta figure out though the next couple days cause it's like a big deal. It's a whole theater people coming. It's a league. They got invited to be their teammate and it seemed super fun. But I can't, I can't do that. She told me yesterday I should stop saying she's very pregnant. She asked if I would stop because it means. Yeah, just how the word is.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But I understand what you mean when you say it. Yeah, like the time that she's pregnant.
Bobby
Yes. Yeah. And that's what I said. And I said I'll stop saying it.
Eddie
But you got to grant her wishes.
Bobby
Yeah.
Eddie
Be best for you.
Bobby
So. Okay, that's a couple of things for me, Amy. Anything from you, Eddie?
Eddie
Oh, yeah, I did get a text from my brother in law, which is kind of cool. I don't know. This is good. But it was kind of cool. He was in Amarillo and he says, dude, I'm in Amarillo for some work and I'd got in my rental car and you're on the radio. Oh, that's cool. And I was like, wow, that's really cool. And I Don't think he's ever really known how, like, big our show is. I think for the first time, he's like, dude, you're. You're a big deal. And I was like, wow, I've never. And he's an FBI agent. And so, like, to me, that was just really cool.
Amy
Oh, yeah, that is cool.
Eddie
That was really cool.
Amy
Cause, like, his work's, like, legit.
Eddie
Yeah, his work is, like, legit. It's meaningful. And, like, ours is stupid.
Unidentified Male Speaker
Stop saying our job is not meaningful. You. Why do you downgrade our job?
Eddie
He's an FBI agent.
Unidentified Male Speaker
Do you understand how much happiness we bring millions of people in America? Their lives?
Bobby
Eddie, I feel you.
Unidentified Male Speaker
Oh, my God.
Eddie
It felt good.
Unidentified Male Speaker
From mental. Well, being is very important, and we provide that for so many people. Quit downgrading our job. We are important.
Amy
That is a good feeling, though. I had that feeling the other day. My boyfriend was in D.C. and he was like, hey, yeah, I just got in my rental car, and it was 98.7 WMZQ. I was like, shout out. So he listened.
Bobby
I never know where we are anymore, where our show is, where our show isn't. But I had. Over to the Bobby cast. We interviewed. I interviewed Catch from Olcrow and his new fiance, Molly Tuttle, who is a fantastic bluegrass artist. And they were in San Francisco, and they were like, hey, we're listening to you. While we're there. We're doing some. You just came on Bay Country.
Eddie
Awesome. Yeah.
Bobby
Yeah.
Eddie
So, yeah, Steve Young, too, is probably listening.
Bobby
That's how he knew I was.
Eddie
He's like, yeah, that's crazy.
Bobby
Amy, do you have anything?
Amy
My back is better. Praise the Lord.
Bobby
From what?
Amy
Don't know. It's been. I've been struggling since Christmas Day, so been quite some time. I remember I woke up that morning, and that was the first thing. And then I've been. It was. Because it was holiday season. The chiropractor I go to, I couldn't see him for a couple weeks, so it was, like, early January. I went to him twice, and he was like, just give it some time. It needs to, like, level up, but you should be good. And that's all I had to do. And then I feel like this morning, it's like, I just. I went to the bathroom earlier, and I get up from my chair, and, I mean, it's a little. But I'm so much better. I feel like today's, like, the first day. I'm really not feeling it.
Bobby
Don't push it.
Amy
Hallelujah. Yeah. I Had to take a break from Pilates. He grounded me. I was like, well, I've still been going to Pilates, but they give me a stick like a cane.
Bobby
Let's call it what it is. For the older people.
Amy
Yes. And I was like the elderly pole, but.
Bobby
Or injured people.
Amy
Yeah, I know, but I felt elderly or maybe pregnant.
Bobby
But I.
Amy
So I was like holding the pole and he was like, no, no, no, no, no. You're grounded from Pilates. No working out. And so now we're back in business. I found something.
Bobby
Back in business. There you go. Good deal.
Eddie
We dug and we did it.
Unidentified Male Speaker
We dug it.
Bobby
That's it. That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good.

Bobby
Come on, it's time for the good news with Bobby.
T-Mobile/US Cellular Announcer
Tell me something good.
Bobby
Instead of receiving gifts for her eighth birthday, Addison Cham of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, continued her tradition of giving back to her community. She created 59 birthday boxes herself with cake mix, disposable pans, plates, napkins, and candles for families in need. She began this tradition at age 5 after realizing some people may not get a birthday cake. And this year, what she wanted was donations to buy, like I mentioned, cake mix, disposable pans, and she would use that money for her birthday to buy these birthday boxes for other people. So she's also a member of her school's kindness club. That's cool. That's from kjrh. Eight years old. What I like about it is she got so much positive feedback at 5, it made her want to continue doing it. Which shows you when someone does something great, if you give them, like, positive affirmation, it makes them want to do it more. Because everybody loves to be affirmed in a positive way.
Amy
Yep.
Bobby
Is that a wrong reason to do it? No.
Amy
I don't know.
Bobby
Because she. She had to see this and want to do it, and then she did it and everyone's like, that's amazing. So she's like, well, I'm going to keep doing that. I like how doing things for others.
Eddie
Makes you feel good and that's a good thing.
Bobby
Is it selfish that you're doing it so you can feel good?
Eddie
Well, that's tricky.
Nav Green from Broken Play Podcast
No.
Eddie
Is that the only reason you're doing it, just so you feel good? Yes. That's a problem.
Bobby
My argument would be, who cares as long as other people get benefiting? It doesn't. Even if you're doing it just for yourself, because there are people who do charitable things just so they can get the praise for doing it. There are celebrities that do nice things for other people just so they can get the praise from it. I don't care. You're still helping somebody. In the end, the net gain is somebody that did not have help, got help, and it's free to give praise to people. You know what ain't free? Food that people need. So that'd be the point there. That'd be what I would say to that.
Joel from How to Money
It works.
Bobby
Yes. So big Shout out to Addison Chambers in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. That's what it's all about.
Matt from How to Money
That was.
Bobby
Tell me something good.
Joel from How to Money
Come on.
Bobby
It's time for the good news with Amy.
Amy
There's this woman, Angela. She's a nurse at Florida St. Lucie Hospital, and she was admitted with severe abdominal pain. She had to go in for emergency surgery just before her wedding anniversary with her husband Christopher, meaning that she would be in the hospital on their special day. Well, she had surgery in the hospital that she works at, so she knows the nurses, and they knew that her anniversary was that night, so they went into her room and they covered her head up, and they were like, you can't look. And so she said that was the only weird part, is that, like, she had to shield her face. Uh, but when the blanket was taken down, they had filled the room with candles, flowers, formal plates, and glassware, and they had a steak and shrimp dinner at her bedside with her husband, Christopher. And it was just really cool.
Bobby
That's fun. They just care about her. That's good.
Amy
Yeah. And Christopher was like, gosh, this is the first time I've seen her smile in, like, a week.
Bobby
Christopher, you need to be doing better as a husband, then if that's the case. That's a great story. I love it. And that's just people caring about people.
Joel from How to Money
At the end.
Bobby
That is what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good.
Joel from How to Money
