Eddie
When did we become the Lingokids house?
BetterHelp Ad Voice
No idea.
Bobby Bones (Ad Voice)
Last week it was dinosaurs.
Morgan
This week it's Lingokids.
Bobby Bones
Why Lingokids?
Bobby Bones (Ad Voice)
Because it's the best thing ever.
Morgan
We can play games.
Bobby Bones
Astronauts, wild animals and superheroes. With more than 4,000 interactive games, songs and shows, LingoKids is the number one entertainment platform for young kids.
Morgan
So no dinosaurs and dinosaurs.
Bobby Bones
Lingokids.
Eddie
Everything kids love. Download it for free.
Geico Gecko
And now for a bit of breaking news. Between your breaking news with me, the Geico Gecko, here are some things you ought to know. Today, people who switch their car insurance to geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know. But also plants can hear when bees buzz. My ficus just heard that. And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there.
Lunchbox
It feels good to get good news.
Bobby Bones
It feels Good to Gecko, it's time for the good news. Tell me something good around the room. No, Amy shed to leave. Although she did text me a minute ago.
Eddie
Said driving alone?
Bobby Bones
No, Stevenson's with her.
Eddie
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Well, I said, how's it going? She said, driving. Nothing to report yet. He's nervous but excited. That's super fun to get to go, like, run in state at a university. Yeah, a big, like, D1 track and field.
Eddie
That's cool.
Bobby Bones
Complex. That's awesome. Yeah. I hope he does well. Tell me something good. Let's go, Morgan.
Morgan
It was a really good weekend this weekend. I had gotten all my work done on Friday, so I just had Saturday and Sunday to do a lot of fun stuff. We went and played sand volleyball and made some perfume and cologne for our wedding.
Bobby Bones
You made perfume and cologne?
Morgan
Yeah. So there's a lot of people who get, like, special scents that they just wear on their wedding and then they'll wear it again for special things later on. And so instead of, like, just going to buy one, there's a place in town where you can go make your own. So we decided to go make our own.
Eddie
That's cool.
Morgan
Which was a fun experience.
Bobby Bones
What's that? Is that expensive?
Morgan
Yeah, I mean, it's definitely on the pricier side, but it was like 1:15 per person. But that's like you're getting your perfume with it.
Bobby Bones
So how big is the bottle?
Morgan
It's like you can do a bigger one or you can do the, like, a smaller one that just comes with it.
Bobby Bones
So I saw a cologne ad that actually made me want to buy cologne for the first time ever. Or at least think about it.
Eddie
Is it Johnny Depp playing guitar to the wolf?
Bobby Bones
That is a good one, that one.
Lunchbox
That's a good one, man.
Bobby Bones
It was Austin Butler dancing on top of a building.
Eddie
I think I've seen that one.
Bobby Bones
And I guess I didn't really want the cologne, but it's the first time I've ever thought about that. Looks fun.
Eddie
So you've never worn cologne?
Bobby Bones
I used to get Brute from Walmart.
Eddie
Not different. That's different.
Bobby Bones
But it was cologne.
Eddie
Yeah, but I mean, as an older, like, this is probably what, high school?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, junior high.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
As an older person, never. Not against it. Just never thought enough ahead of time to go buy cologne to wear.
Eddie
I love it. I think my dad, like, just always wore cologne. So, like, to me, that just meant, like, you're ready to go take on the day again.
Bobby Bones
It could have been something that was modeled to you. I didn't have a dad until I started to be a teenager and Arkansas Keith was not wearing colognes. The only thing that we would ever put on would be like deer pee to cover our scent if we were in the woods. And that was. You'd put it on the same way you'd put on cologne. Or at least you do. The two fingers on the neck, on the boot, bottom of the boots. That's pretty much it. I got a text from Arkansas Keith this weekend. He sent me a picture of him in the outfield at the Arkansas softball game.
Eddie
Oh, cool.
Bobby Bones
And he normally only goes to the baseball games. And he was at the softball game and he was like, are you guys here? And I was like, if we were there, we'd have told you.
Eddie
I love it.
Bobby Bones
So Morgan, what else you do, Morgan?
Morgan
Oh, we also went and tried a new restaurant and it reminded me of like being in Paris. Very European. And they had gluten free pasta and gluten free bread service, which never happened. So it was just like, everything was a good weekend and I got to actually chill. I slept like 10 hours. It's a cool part of the weekend. It was just like.
Eddie
It's amazing.
Morgan
I haven't had a weekend like that in a while.
Bobby Bones
What? What?
Lunchbox
Must be nice sleeping 10 hours.
Eddie
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
But you take like two and three hour naps.
Lunchbox
Yeah, but that's not 10 hours.
Bobby Bones
But if you added it up, you're nice.
Lunchbox
I'm talking consecutive. Like that is.
Bobby Bones
I hear two or three hour nap and I think I react like you react to her going 10 hours.
Lunchbox
Oh, not two, three hour nap is after you get five hours of sleep. You know, I hear you.
Bobby Bones
I same. Yeah.
Lunchbox
So I mean, I'm just saying 10 hours sleep. I don't know when last time I did that was.
Eddie
It was crazy about my kids. Is apparently during the week my wife struggles to wake them up to school. Like they just don't want to get up. She's yelling at him, pulling them out of bed. But every Saturday morning they get up at like 6:30 in the morning.
Bobby Bones
I'd say school is the factor that's holding them back from waking up.
Eddie
They're like, let's hang out.
Bobby Bones
So now you have to wake up with them.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Do you wake up early on weekends?
Eddie
Yes, I have to usually because we have basketball tournaments that start like 8am that are about an hour away.
Bobby Bones
We're waking up early, but the baby's sleeping like nine hours.
Eddie
That's good.
Bobby Bones
She's almost Morgan.
Eddie
So one hour away.
Bobby Bones
All right, good Good weekend, Morgan.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Lunchbox. Tell me something good.
Lunchbox
Yeah. I got an email from the city. City pools open this coming Saturday.
Bobby Bones
Is that a big deal?
Lunchbox
It is time for swimming season, and I cannot wait. The kids love the pool.
Eddie
You can kill five or six hours there, dude, no problem.
Lunchbox
And they stay entertained the whole time.
Bobby Bones
What are the people like there?
Lunchbox
That's a variety. Variety.
Bobby Bones
Like, do they make a bunch of kid friends? I guess was what I was asking. Is there a bunch of kids?
Eddie
Oh, no, because there is a grab bag of people.
Lunchbox
Grab bag.
Bobby Bones
I'd like to hear more about that. But it wasn't really why I was asking. I was like, are there other kids from other schools that maybe they wouldn't get to meet?
Lunchbox
But they usually. I mean, do they really talk to the random kids? Not really.
Bobby Bones
So when you say variety, what do you guys mean?
Lunchbox
All kinds of walks.
Eddie
Yep. Like, you have to. Like the. The kind where you kind of have to watch your kids a little bit.
Bobby Bones
Ah.
Eddie
You know, like, there are some people that go to just swim laps.
Lunchbox
Yeah. When they get mad at the kids for jumping around.
Eddie
Yep.
Bobby Bones
Should they get mad at the kids for jumping?
Lunchbox
No, it's a pool. It's a city pool, man. Like, get out of here.
Bobby Bones
Are there dedicated areas to swim laps?
Eddie
Like, four lanes.
Bobby Bones
Okay. So the kids shouldn't be in those four lanes.
Eddie
They shouldn't. But if they're jumping right next to the ropes, they happen to get wet, they get mad. It's a thing.
Lunchbox
Or you have the people that sit on the edge and the kids jump in, they get wet, and they're like, ah. It's like, well, don't sit on the edge. But they want to have their feet in the pool.
Eddie
It's like, right.
Lunchbox
You can't have your cake and eat it, too, man.
Bobby Bones
Do you guys ever see each other there?
Eddie
No, we got a different one.
Lunchbox
Yeah. I don't know.
Bobby Bones
And again, we're not talking, like, in Austin, whenever. What was the natural Barton Springs like? People would go down there. This is, like, real. Like, regular pools?
Lunchbox
No, like, regular pools. Yeah, yeah, it's like regular pools.
Eddie
You ever go to Deep Eddy?
Bobby Bones
That's what I'm talking about.
Eddie
That's kind of what it looks like.
Bobby Bones
But that's natural.
Eddie
Yeah, but it still had the ambiance of a regular pool. Barton Springs, that was like a creek.
Lunchbox
Yeah, that was.
Bobby Bones
I'm thinking of Deep Eddy.
Lunchbox
A hole in the ground.
Eddie
Deep Eddie looks like a regular pool. That's kind of what the pools look like.
Bobby Bones
But it was natural, though. Wasn't it? Yeah.
Eddie
The water was natural, but the whole outside of it look like a regular pool.
Bobby Bones
Been a while.
Eddie
Yeah. And then, you know, kids, your kids like to sit on the ropes where they're swimming laps.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Eddie
They get yelled and they get yelled at.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but should they get yelled at?
Lunchbox
And you know what I mean, what's wrong with them hanging on the ropes?
Eddie
And what's stupid, too, is like, lifeguards who are like 16 years old are yelling at me too. Like. Like you can't pick them up. Put on your shoulders. I'm like, don't blow your whistle at me.
Bobby Bones
Like, you were once a lifeguard. You should tell them, I've done your job.
Eddie
I was you.
Lunchbox
I know what I'm doing. Like, I can hold my kid on my shoulders. What's wrong with that? Or they say, don't throw them. What? Like, you know, you pick them up and throw 1, 2, 3. You throw.
Bobby Bones
Is that possibly not because of your own kid? Because if you land on somebody else, it could, like, break their neck or shoulder probably.
Eddie
I mean, their rules.
Lunchbox
I never thought about that. Others thought they were just anti fun police.
Bobby Bones
They probably have to be anti fun because of the real unfun, which is somebody getting injured severely at the pool.
Lunchbox
Dang. That's. That's kind of good perspective there, man.
Bobby Bones
If you poop in the pool, they shut it all down.
Eddie
Shut it down.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
But I'm going to tell you what. I haven't seen poop in the pool in a long time.
Eddie
I saw it five times last year.
Lunchbox
Really?
Eddie
Yep. Somebody poop poop? Well, my kid was one of them.
Bobby Bones
Accident?
Eddie
Not last year. A couple years ago.
Bobby Bones
What if it's like wet poop? Yeah.
Eddie
As long as it's.
Bobby Bones
You see little browns, everybody's out.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
The chlorine doesn't kill it immediately.
Eddie
They do. They have to shock the pool. But it takes like, you know, 12, 12 hours a day. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
We have to shock our pool sometimes for algae.
Eddie
Oh, yeah. Oh, same thing. Yeah, kind of.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
But when they blow the whistle and they're like, everybody pools closed, you just like, great. You know exactly why the pool's close.
Bobby Bones
You start looking around, trying to blame it on one kid who did it. Is there an age limit? Like, you can't be in the pool by yourself if you're not a certain age?
Eddie
Yes. Yeah. Well, for us to pass a test,
Lunchbox
I mean, you can like diving board, you have to have a wristband. If your parents, if you got to pass a swim test. But you can be in the pool. Because you can have your floaty on. You can. If your parents just put you in the pool.
Bobby Bones
Do you have to walk through a gate of some sort or can just. You just walk right up to the pool.
Eddie
Now there's a gate with someone there checking.
Bobby Bones
You got it. So it's not just wild and free, right?
Eddie
No.
Morgan
So it isn't free, is it? You have to pay something to go in.
Eddie
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
How much?
Lunchbox
It's like five bucks or something.
Bobby Bones
Bucks a person.
Lunchbox
Is that right? Yeah, maybe. Or you can buy a weekly pass or something.
Bobby Bones
I mean, dang, Eddie. For all your kids, all six of you.
Eddie
No, it's not. We wouldn't.
Bobby Bones
30 bucks a day, kind of. My whole. 30 bucks.
Lunchbox
It must not be that way. Maybe it's two bucks.
Eddie
Yeah, it's cheap.
Morgan
I was gonna say, is it like, better to get like a Y membership and you go to that pool instead?
Eddie
Same deal.
Morgan
Same situation.
Eddie
Yeah, same. Yeah, same deal.
Bobby Bones
Would you have a pool at your house if you could?
Eddie
We would love a pool. Yeah. We wouldn't go anywhere. The kids would be in that pool every day. I would be in that pool every day. I love the water. How often do you get in your pool?
Bobby Bones
Five times a year.
Eddie
Crazy.
Lunchbox
I would never have a pull up my house, though.
Eddie
Why not?
Lunchbox
The stress.
Bobby Bones
Danger.
Lunchbox
Danger, yeah.
Eddie
Worried about the kids?
Lunchbox
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Eddie
But they.
Bobby Bones
Not with that many, though.
Lunchbox
It doesn't matter how to swim.
Eddie
What do you mean?
Lunchbox
They have friends over. I mean anything.
Eddie
Yeah, but if they have friends over, you got to like. All eyes on deck.
Bobby Bones
We have had. We have people come over and go to the pool. But you're asking me if I get in it? Never. I'm good.
Eddie
You did lapse for a while though, right?
Bobby Bones
Where you were doing, like, if I was working out a little bit when I. I had hurt my ankle. That's how I first. So that. That number's misleading then, because I didn't consider that part of the pool when I was doing rehab and I could not run or jog. I would do laps in the pool, but I don't want to be wet. I hated it. But you're talking about just for fun. Never. Never.
Eddie
It's not your style.
Bobby Bones
It's not fun. What am I gonna. I'm sitting in water, Right?
Eddie
Right.
Bobby Bones
I can sit in water anywhere.
Morgan
You would love a game. We used to play in the water.
Bobby Bones
Get out, get dry polo. Yeah, get out, get dry and get on the Wi Fi. I love that game.
Morgan
Our dad was stand on one end of the Pool and they would have those squishy wet balls. And we try. He'd like, call out points and we jump off the diving board and we try and catch him. And whoever got like the most points, we would spend hours doing that.
Eddie
That's fun.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Not a pool guy. I would actually like to have ours filled in with cement and not have a pool. And not have a pool. Like put a basketball court there or something.
Lunchbox
No, just wait. Your kid will grow up and want to swim and it'll be the best thing ever.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you're probably right. But for me, that I leave it. If it's take it or leave it. My wife likes it. She gets in it. But like, what's the use? But it gets green too much.
Eddie
Yeah. And that's because. Why, like.
Bobby Bones
Like allergy? Like all the algae? Well, I was saying allergies. But like, all of the pollen in the air gets into it. All kinds of.
Eddie
And they have to have like, someone come by every, what, like two weeks or something?
Bobby Bones
We have a pool guy that comes by twice a week, I think.
Eddie
Dang.
Lunchbox
When you're home though, right?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Why?
Bobby Bones
Oh, because he's one of my wife and the pool boy. Yep.
Lunchbox
That's how a lot of movies start.
Eddie
I've heard stories like that.
Bobby Bones
And now they're there a lot. Because when that storm hit, the ice storm that it crushed our pool, like, no crying on the yacht. I get it. But it's like it destroyed it physically. Like, tore it up our whole back areas. Still going through the rehabilitation process, but yeah. All right. Pools. Anything else? Lunchbox from you?
Lunchbox
No, that's it. That's the exciting news.

Eddie,
Eddie
you A lot of good stuff. So basketball, AAU tournament season is over. Thank good. Thank goodness. Like, it's over. We're done. We're gonna have our weekends back. That's huge to me.
Bobby Bones
For how long?
Eddie
Till next year. Till next December.
Bobby Bones
But what about baseball?
Eddie
Baseball's fine. Baseball is like Once a week, only one of my boys plays baseball. And then I don't think anyone's gonna be playing football in the fall. I think my son quit football. The one that was playing. Wow, great. I was waiting for him to quit because he's not a big dude. He loves it. And he'd get hit or he'd hit someone, and he'd have pain or whatever, and he's like, it's okay, Dad. I still love it. I love it. It's great. But I think now he realizes he's not going to be playing a lot more because his friends are getting bigger and stronger, and he's like, I just. I'll focus on basketball. So I'm pumped about that. That's cool. What else? Oh, I'm going to the dentist today to finish my whole root canal process.
Bobby Bones
What's left?
Eddie
A crown.
Bobby Bones
Oh, they had to get one fit. It's. Now you have to get it put in correct. That's a much easier day.
Eddie
Yeah. That should be a shorter day, too, right?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And way less injections.
Eddie
Okay, good.
Bobby Bones
They did the real work on you last time.
Eddie
That's the root canal.
Bobby Bones
That's the actual removing of the bad root.
Eddie
And again, TikTok. I don't know if they're listening or what, but I've gotten some cool videos of how a root canal is done that, like, now I can see exactly what they did. And, like, that's amazing. So maybe tomorrow I'll get one that, like, how a crown is done. Looking forward to that.
Bobby Bones
Anything else?
Eddie
So I think that's pretty much it. Yeah, that's pretty much it. Oh, and my son wanted another championship. Dang.
Bobby Bones
How do you keep space for all the trophies?
Eddie
Medals. They're medals. Yeah, but, dude, I'm telling you, these tournaments just rule our world. Like, every weekend, start from Saturday morning all the way to Sunday. And then sometimes there's, like, we have to work church around Sunday. Like, if it's early games, we got to go to the night church. Like, last week, we went to a whole church we'd never been to before.
Lunchbox
Really? Why not just skip?
Eddie
Yeah, just. Just don't want to skip.
Morgan
Don't they have, like, we can skip
Lunchbox
and they have online, too, man. I mean, that just seems like an extra hassle.
Bobby Bones
You guys act like it's a class.
Eddie
It's not required. We want to do it.
Bobby Bones
Who is the one that prioritizes that you go at all costs?
Eddie
Oh, my wife got it. Oh, dude, if you were up to me, I'd be like, guys, let's just watch it on tv. Same thing on the way to the game.
Lunchbox
See, now the dream comes out. No, we really want to go. I just wanted to make sure we were.
Bobby Bones
For us, weekends are a bit different. They have been the last couple months because if there is no news, that is good news. We're just keeping the baby on a schedule. Arkansas won their regional tournament. So it goes regionals to super regionals. There were four teams in the tournament. I think it was Fordham, usf, Washington and Arkansas. And Arkansas won the tournament. No losses at all. You know, DeBoer, the coach at Alabama was there watching his daughter play because she plays at Washington where he was before. So I guess she stayed up there.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So that's awesome because my brother in law is the heading coach. And then they now they'll play the super regional this weekend against Duke. And So there's only 16 teams left in the whole tournament, the whole NCAA tournament. So it's top 16 teams left. If they win this, they go to the College World series, which is 18s. But they've never, Arkansas's never been. So they've been to this four times and never got out. So hopefully they're able to get out and beat Duke. Yeah, Duke's. Everybody's good. It's top 16 teams. I think Duke was ranked 12th this year overall.
Eddie
And what was Arkansas?
Bobby Bones
Five. Oh, so yeah, that was a good, good time. I had some good pizza. It's always hit or miss. No, from Craig's, the place that we went where I ordered it. It's not that same. Pizza's on Uber Eats now.
Eddie
Oh, yeah, yeah, that's cool.
Bobby Bones
But it's the first time ever ordered it. But yeah, I did that.
Eddie
That's the pizza we had. So good.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it was really good.
Eddie
So.
Bobby Bones
But really not a lot because again, we're so on a schedule. I did watch and I'll review it tomorrow. I did watch. We watched the end of that movie, Project Hail Mary.
Eddie
Oh, right, right.
Bobby Bones
It just took us five. Five sittings.
Eddie
Ryan Gosling is along.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's long.
Eddie
Dude, is that book really? It's all popular or something?
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Why do you ask that?
Eddie
Because we were talking to some neighbors and Project Hail Mary came up and my neighbor was like, oh, I read the book. It was so good. I'm like, you too? You read the book?
Bobby Bones
Well, they usually don't make movies out of books that aren't really popular. Really good, to be fair.
Eddie
Okay, that makes sense.
Bobby Bones
And the movie was very long. And the reason why people Will always go. I preferred the book is because there's so much more detail in a book, obviously, and. And you spend probably a couple weeks of your life with the book as opposed to two and a half hours in a movie. Like they've got to condense a lot of the stuff and the nuance is a lot of times what makes the book so good that doesn't make the movie. And so I found elements of the movie to be not as satisfying because I read the book. But then I had to tell myself, don't be that loser. Don't be that loser. Just enjoy the movie. But I can review it tomorrow. But I'll get a. But it was good. I'll give the official review tomorrow. It could have been. Well, you know what I think was great about it is that a 11 year old would have loved it.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
It's clean, complete. I don't even know why it's PG13.
Eddie
They show a butt or anything?
Bobby Bones
Maybe some language in there? A little bit.
Lunchbox
If there was.
Bobby Bones
I don't remember it, but possibly. Okay. They did drink, I guess they did drink at a bar a couple times. It could have been, ah, pg. So that feels like Dora the Explorer. But it was so clean and there was like the alien in it. It was a real life thing. I mean, not real life, but it wasn't. AI is a puppet. It's a puppet.
Eddie
That's cool.
Bobby Bones
That made it kind of soft. Like, I think kids would like that movie. Yeah. I think Ryan Gosling has made it a point to make family friendly films because he wants movies that his kids can watch. Yeah. So that was like why he made that movie or wanted to make it. Official review tomorrow.
Eddie
Okay. Can't wait.
Bobby Bones
People are waiting. You know, they're going to bed tonight. Going. I can't wait to hear what Bobby says. His official review tomorrow. Go to the glass room. Amy's not here, so let's check in with them. Raymundo, tell me something good.
Raymundo
Yeah, I was pretty much just in the sun all weekend on the back patio. I tried to golf, but I called the golf course and they put me on hold for six minutes. And I was like, well, I guess it's not in the universe for me to golf. I'll go another five months without golfing. So other than the golf, it was the perfect weekend. And it's just confirmed why I love being in the south more. I enjoyed being in Texas because it was always this weather. But baby, it's 90 all week. The heat is here. This is why I left Michigan. This is what I live for right here. The summers, like, the winter is over. Baby, My dad's like texting us. Oh, it was just above freezing today. What? That's why I moved. Like, don't text me about that. Like, I love this weather.
Bobby Bones
There you go. Baby, baby, baby. Abby, give me a. Tell me something good.
Abby
We're headed to the beach this weekend. I'm really excited. Love the beach.
Eddie
Which one?
Abby
In Florida.
Lunchbox
Nice.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, the Florida beach.
Eddie
You know the ones.
Lunchbox
I don't tell you which one?
Bobby Bones
I don't know. Are you worried about paparazzi getting you or.
Abby
I don't know. Well, it's my fiance and his kids and me, so. But I'm leaving early. Cause I have to come back to work.
Bobby Bones
But what town?
Abby
It's like Panama City, beach area.
Bobby Bones
Oh, okay.
Eddie
Got it.
Abby
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
What's that drive?
Abby
It's only like six and a half hours, so it's really not bad.
Bobby Bones
Oh, really?
Eddie
Seven hours average to the beach.
Bobby Bones
That's about what it is. A little rock. That's not bad.
Eddie
Really?
Bobby Bones
Six and a half. You get a little rock.
Eddie
Okay. Yeah. Hey, man, if you put that pedal in the metal too, you get there a little faster.
Bobby Bones
Dude, like, we're not stopping.
Eddie
You do that every time.
Bobby Bones
We'll stop. You got 45 seconds to pee. You have to do that with four boys.
Eddie
We'll do two stops for the whole trip. Unless somebody's really. And then we've done the bottle thing. Like, we'll pee in the bottle, then. Good luck.
Bobby Bones
No way. Oh, yeah, it's gonna. They're gonna miss.
Eddie
No, I know one time they did miss.
Bobby Bones
Or they're gonna spill after. They don't miss.
Eddie
Yeah, but it's worth that than being. Getting there and it's already nighttime.
Lunchbox
You can just pull over on the side of the road and let them pee in the.
Eddie
We've done that before, too.
Lunchbox
But dude, we do that.
Bobby Bones
Is that also a disaster?
Eddie
Well, stopping just takes a long time. Like, literally stopping for two minutes.
Bobby Bones
If you stop on the side of the road. There's not a lot of options of what they can do to waste more time.
Lunchbox
That's exactly why we do it. There's no dilly dallying. You get out, you pee in the grass, you get back in the car.
Bobby Bones
You're not looking at gummy worms or dicking around in the bathroom watching the.
Eddie
But you look at the ETA and it'll kill like five minutes of time.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Well, that's fun, Abby.
Abby
Yeah, I'm excited.
Bobby Bones
Scuba Steve.
Scuba Steve
Yes, I'M also a bottle peeler. Eddie, I think it's totally fine. We did it all the time. Pete and Yoohoos, Gatorade bottles.
Bobby Bones
You mean with the kids? Not with you with the kids.
Scuba Steve
No, I've done it as an adult and as a child.
Lunchbox
As an adult.
Bobby Bones
You know what? I could see it because you're probably not going to be a sloppy.
Eddie
No, there's no bottle big enough for an adult.
Scuba Steve
But even, but even as kids, my dad be like peeing this Zima bottle right here.
Eddie
And I'm like, all right, I just finished it.
Scuba Steve
But you, you're right, you do lose 30 minutes depending how long the kids go and they want to stop and look at stuff, get gas. Could be a line. It's just a pain in the butt. Just let's roll. Let's go. Let's get there.
Bobby Bones
Well, do you have any. Tell me something good?
Scuba Steve
Yes, my. Tell me something good. Is that all? This week we are doing dance rehearsals, like dance recitals for my daughters. It's their first recital this coming weekend, so I'm really excited to see that come to fruition.
Eddie
That's cool.
Bobby Bones
She enjoy it?
Scuba Steve
My daughters love it.
Bobby Bones
They work hard at it.
Scuba Steve
Yeah, I don't know if they work hard at it because I went to go watch one of them last week and they're just kind of like bouncing around and stuff, but they enjoy it. The older one does tap and regular dance, so she's a little bit more excited than my 3 year old. But it'd be kind of cool, a little emotional moment to see daughters get older and get to the next level.
Lunchbox
I mean, that's interesting. I, I don't know that world because I don't have girls. And that is one reason I'm glad I don't have girls, because I just do not. See, I mean, I understand it's your kids, so you're excited, but man, I
Eddie
think you would love it.
Lunchbox
Like my sister used to. She did. I mean, what is it called? Dance or tap or something for one like a couple years and we'd go to those things like, oh my gosh, it's so boring.
Scuba Steve
Well, yeah, I wouldn't want to go to it if it was just like watching some random kids dance.
Bobby Bones
Also, I would encourage you not to go watch some random kids.
Eddie
No, no, no.
Bobby Bones
If I could just like.
Eddie
Yeah, dude, don't do that.
Bobby Bones
Blanket recommendation not go watch random young kids dance.
Eddie
Have you watched 8 year olds play kid pitch baseball?
Lunchbox
That's pretty bad.
Eddie
That's so boring too. So walks yeah, well, scuba.
Bobby Bones
That's fun.
Scuba Steve
Thanks, man.
Bobby Bones
Abby, when. When do you drive down to Florida?
Abby
Friday. Friday after the show, and then we'll get there pretty late.
Bobby Bones
When do you come back?
Abby
Monday.
Eddie
When do they come back?
Abby
They're gonna stay till, like, Wednesday.
Bobby Bones
Oh, dang.
Lunchbox
Oh, Because. Yeah, Summer got it.
Abby
Because they're driving and then I'm gonna fly. Oh, Monday, it's a direct flight, so it's not bad, but yeah.
Bobby Bones
Oh, you're driving down with them.
Abby
Yes. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Then you'll just drive back.
Abby
No, I'm flying.
Bobby Bones
Oh, got it, got it, got it.
Abby
Yeah, Yeah. I have, like a one way coming back.
Bobby Bones
So there will be new podcasts on Monday. We have Memorial Day. That's Monday. But there will be new podcasts. So if you guys are like, what's going to happen? Oh, no, there'll be new podcasts. So that's. Tell me something good. You will have new content. Okay, that's it. I think we went around the room. All right, cool. That's what it's all about. Tell me something good. Dog disappeared in a snowstorm. Was out with the owners. Owners lost the dog. Storm got so bad, they couldn't find the dog. Eventually, they had to retreat back because of the severity of the storm. Luckily, these other hikers came up after the storm had subsided a bit and found the dog.

Wow.
Bobby Bones
Dog ran off. Rich says his golden doodle Charlie was rescued. It ran off while exploring when the snow hit. And so they went and looked and looked and looked. They had four wheelers. ATVs. Had a drone company looking for this dog. Could not find it anywhere. Vanished in heavy snow and temperatures in the 20s. And so it got so bad they had to stop. They couldn't see with the drones anymore. They couldn't drive the four wheeler safely. So the storm stops. They start looking again. They couldn't find it, but other people did. The following day, Jada and Colin Symanski found Charlie while hiking in the state park.
Eddie
Wow.
Bobby Bones
During a snowy outing. You know, that family was so relieved to get their dog back. That's from Cowboy State Daily, one of my favorite publications.
Bobby Bones (Ad Voice)
You love that one.
Bobby Bones
All right, there you go. That's what it's all about. It's time for the good news with lunchbox. Tell me something good.
Lunchbox
Madison and her cousin Mackenzie have an ice cream truck in Gardner, Massachusetts. They go around ice cream, get your ice cream. And one kid walks up to the truck, looks at all the ice cream choices, turns around and walks away. And they're like, hey, hey, where you going? Kid, he's like, I don't have any money. They said, don't worry about it. An ice cream truck will give you free ice cream. And they gave the kid free ice cream. Someone took a video of it, put it online, and donations have come flooding in. And now they just drive around and give away free ice cream. They don't have to charge anybody because all the donations.
Bobby Bones
What I like most about that story is there was no intent of that going viral or being seen by anyone. It was just some people going, hey kid, we got you. And then it's awesome when it happens like that. That's, that's cool. It's a good one.
Eddie
All right.
Bobby Bones
I'm moved. I'm moved by an ice cream truck.
Eddie
That's pretty cool.
Raymundo
All right.
Bobby Bones
That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good.
