Kevin
it's time for the good news.
Bobby
Not a real one, but man, I don't know where everybody lives. Obviously listening to this. The weather's been pretty great. Oh, is it awesome to like not have to like freeze when you take the dogs out and stuff?
Amy
Yes, that was sort of mine.
Bobby
Oh, sorry. Then you can have it. I was just thinking about that.
Amy
If you have another one. No, mine was yesterday walking my dog and like I had to. I don't know, just mentally, I guess. I'm still thinking it's supposed to be cold or something. So I had, like, layers and I had to, like, loop back by my house to, like, strip off. And I. It felt like it was like, this is crazy. And honestly, I feel like my dog was walking with a little extra pep in her step. Like, the sunshine, it just did us some good around the neighborhood. I mean, obviously we were just on the cruise, which had a little bit of sunshine, which was healing, but just being back home and, like, if getting that feeling of that happening here, that just felt so, so awesome.
Eddie
Are we back or like.
Amy
No, I think it's. The problem is it's about to rain.
Bobby
Well, I don't mind rain.
Eddie
The rain's different.
Bobby
No, rain brings corn and whiskey.
Amy
Rain is a good thing.
Bobby
No, it's just cold. Obviously you can't go outside during rain.
Amy
I know, but I was walking my dog.
Bobby
I hate doing. Tell me something suck. But we found. So we were walking around yesterday doing Walmart property survey damage. We found so much more damage, like, in, like, a lot of the. Like, the concrete. Really? Yep. It sucks.
Eddie
That's crazy because that was what, a month ago?
Bobby
Yeah, we just didn't catch it all because we had to clean up all the trees. It's just been such a mess that we found more yesterday, and my wife and I were just walking around in the backyard and we just found. So we had to message our home insurance people and we're like, we have more. This is a weird thing to be like, hey, we told you all this and they're not covering all of it. Like, a lot of the pool stuff. Like, I told you, it's $50,000 that they're not paying for HOA. We have the HOA paying for some of the stuff for the HOA. Sorry, sorry.
Eddie
Insurance.
Bobby
What do you call. Was there letters for that?
Eddie
Home insurance.
Amy
Yeah, home. I. Hi.
Eddie
H I. I don't know, but it's definitely not hoa.
Amy
Maybe your insurance has an acronym.
Bobby
Maybe it's like the company or something.
Amy
Maybe your company could be a. Nah, it ain't.
Bobby
But anyway, yeah, it sucks. Tell me something sucks.
Eddie
Yeah, dude, that would put me in the worst mood ever.
Bobby
But it doesn't. Like I said, I have a swimming pool. There's no water in it still. There's no water in it. It's just an empty hole at this
Eddie
point because the actual pool cracks.
Bobby
It's all broken. Yeah, all the stuff, all the equipment's broken. There's a crack in the Bottom all,
Amy
like, picturing Bobby just being like, coming in next week and being like, I moved.
Eddie
Instead of fixing it all, I'm just gonna buy a new house. That's baller, dude.
Bobby
I didn't do it. No, I didn't do it.
Kevin
It's not baller.
Amy
Wait for it.
Bobby
No and no. My wife loves our house. I never have a relationship with a house.
Eddie
Really?
Amy
That's why I'm saying I used so
Bobby
much as a kid. Like, we had to move from a trailer, an apartment, or wherever. I moved so much that if you look at my history of just living, I moved every two years almost my whole life. Even when I became an adult, because I was like, two things. One, I don't know, I just didn't feel normal, like being in the same place this long. And then two, my career would do a little better and I would go like, well, I can afford it. So I would justify that as to why to move again. But I'd never lived anywhere more than two or three years at a time my whole life until now. My wife growing up, never lived in the same house her whole life. So it's completely two different types. She loves where we live now, so we're not going to move. But I have no interest in filling the pull up with water. Do you know why? Well, first we got to fix it, which we're going to. It's so annoying. But I don't let that affect me because I have a swimming pool. That was always the dream.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah.
Bobby
There's always the dream. I can always meet it with. I got to pay this money. I have the money. It's fine. It's a lot of money to pay, but I have it. But I have swimming pool. I have to check in with like 9 year old me and go have a swimming pool. Yeah, stop whining.
Eddie
It's pretty awesome.
Bobby
Yes.
Eddie
So why are you not going to fill the water up?
Bobby
The water mill.
Eddie
Oh, to fill it up.
Bobby
I used to think there was magic water.
Eddie
Think about that.
Bobby
Yeah. We were talking to the guy, you know, last week who won the contest, and he came in, he works at pools. I think we had that. I thought there was some magic water the pool company brought.
Eddie
Yeah.
Amy
But eventually you're gonna have to fill it up.
Bobby
No, that's what I'm saying. I always thought there was some magic water that the pool company brought and they just filled the pool up.
Amy
Right.
Eddie
Because it's so pretty, blue water. But no, it's a water hose.
Bobby
And then the bill ends up being thousands of dollars because you're filling it up.
Amy
I know, but that's what you said. You're not filling it up because of the water bill. But eventually you're gonna have to fill it up.
Eddie
So, like, you're gonna want to swim.
Amy
You're just spacing it out because, like, a lot of.
Bobby
I think I'm just gonna take up skateboarding.
Eddie
Oh.
Amy
Turn it into, like, a ramp.
Bobby
Yeah. I think this is. I don't want to fill it up. So I learned to skateboard. The weather's awesome. So I. I can agree with you on that one. Oh. How'd you like the cookie I brought you guys yesterday for Tell me something good, Delicious. Was it not the greatest cookie?
Amy
Yeah, whatever. It was almost like the. The. I loved the. The. I don't know how to describe it. The white part. The.
Bobby
Sounds racist.
Eddie
Like, the actual bread.
Amy
There was the chocolate part, and then, like, the.
Bobby
The.
Amy
The normal cookie dough part. Yeah, that dough is lighter. How do I say this? That part, it was swirled in. It was like a marbled cookie, like, dark and light. And whatever that light part was, it was like cookie dough.
Eddie
Ish.
Amy
I mean, and it was so good.
Eddie
That's interesting. You looked at it. I just ate it. Like, I didn't notice that it was different colors.
Bobby
What?
Eddie
Hey.
Bobby
Cause, hey, you don't see color. Her over there.
Amy
Actually, it's white or nothing. Hey. Excuse me. It's more racist to say you don't see color.
Eddie
Well, I really don't.
Bobby
I think. Hey. I really don't a lot of times, because I'm literally colorblind.
Amy
Well, anyway, it was a marble. Like, a marble effect in, like, a swirl. Like they're two different batters working together in the cookie. And it was so delicious.
Bobby
And I forgot the name of the
Amy
company, but big cookie or no big chunk.
Bobby
Mm.
Eddie
Mm.
Bobby
You're talking about your ex boyfriends. What?
Amy
What? Big.
Bobby
You know, big chunk. You used to date him.
Amy
I don't remember him. Hold on. I want to think of it.
Eddie
It was big something buff Cookie. No, Another boyfriend.
Bobby
It all turns hard cookie.
Amy
This one was sort of soft and chewy.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby
Yeah. Wasn't it called the throbber? No.
Eddie
Oh, my goodness.
Amy
No, no, no, no, no. What was it, Mikey?
Eddie
I feel like Chip was in the name.
Amy
Big Chip.
Bobby
By the way, I got a problem with everybody going to Mike all the time. Now Mike's my guy, and everybody all the time throwing to Mike. Hey, Mikey, what's up with this information? Well, I'll do it. You guys are running them dry over
Amy
here, I would try to do it, but then I get sidetracked and start checking emails. I have to sit on my hands.
Bobby
It's called like Chip City or something. I don't know. I don't know that that's what it is.
Amy
That's it.
Bobby
Regardless, it wasn't a commercial. I got them in. I thought they were so good. I broug. Tell me something good. Yesterday I only brought one. Is it Chip City?
Eddie
Chip City?
Bobby
Chip City Cookies out of New York. We split it and I. So I gave it. And I don't like fat cookies.
Eddie
And this is a fat cookie.
Bobby
It's a fat cookie.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby
And my wife ate one last night randomly, because I had the box there, because there are six. And she was like, this is the best cookie I ever had.
Eddie
So good. And the fact that it's dairy free, like, why is it so good? I feel like the dairy in the cookie, the butter and all that stuff is what makes cookies taste so good, but not. This was good.
Bobby
So they have regular with dairy. But the ones that I had. So dairy free. Chocolate chip. You guys had the. Let's see, dairy free.
Eddie
Amy said it was swirly.
Amy
What's it say? Cause it's.
Bobby
I don't know.
Amy
It's a marble. I want to know what the flavor is.
Eddie
I'm literally looking at right here.
Amy
It's like chocolate chip cookie mixed with just chocolate cookie.
Bobby
You're pressuring me.
Eddie
And then you know what Amy did? She took it and she got a knife, I guess, from the kitchen to cut it in half. I'm like, just break it. That's no big deal.
Bobby
Trying to be perfectly even might tell me something good. I want to preface by saying, you know, my favorite city in America, that's not Fayetteville, because I live there. My favorite city in America, Boston. Well, my favorite city that I haven't lived, that I like to go to is Boston. My favorite city, though, that you lived
Amy
in, just in general, it's not Fayetteville.
Bobby
My favorite city is Austin. Thank you. Love Austin.
Amy
We got there well, I had to be. I need the specifics.
Eddie
That's why I wasn't guessing.
Bobby
My favorite city's Austin.
Eddie
Sacramento.
Bobby
I love it.
Amy
He's never lived there.
Bobby
If I were to move and I could move right now, I'd move to Fayetteville. But I love Austin. It's my favorite city. I grew there as a human. I met all my best friends there. Everything about Austin I love, except longhorns. Growing up in Arkansas, we do not like the Texas Longhorns it is the team we hate the most. We whooped the crap out of a basketball last night, and it was just. It was over from the minute it started. That's awesome. I turned it on 10 minutes late. I was like, I don't even need to watch this. Yeah, Chef's kiss. We kicked him right in the nuts. We needed to win. Florida whooped us. Pretty good game before, but it's almost March Madness, too. We got SEC tournament next week, which is fun. So for me, that was a good win.
Eddie
Were they in Austin? Did they play in Austin?
Bobby
They played in Arkansas. And the other thing was, I've been online vocally screaming to build a statue for Nolan Richardson, who was our coach, won national championship, Autographed your ball right there. You know what? You're right. The ball I have on my desk right here. And last night, they finally announced. Because I don't want him to die. And then they build him a statue. Build him a statue.
Amy
Now, I thought you said people shouldn't get statues till they're dead.
Bobby
Unless you forgot the parentheses. Unless it's Nolan Richardson important. Yes. And so they announced last night they were building the Nolan Richardson statue.
Amy
Who's building it? Tyson.
Bobby
The Arkansas. But Tyson is now putting patches on all the Arkansas uniforms. And I'll agree with this. Aesthetically, not the most pleasing. Don't give a crap. We want to win. People are like, I can't believe they're putting patches. First of all, they're going patches. Every NCAA team's going to do it. You know what's more aesthetically pleasing? Winning wins championships the most.
Amy
So that just means the program gets more money, which means they have more ability to win.
Bobby
Yes. So it's a different environment now because athletes get paid, and they'll only come to places where they get paid the most. And what Tyson has. I don't want to say too much, because I know more than has been put out. What Tyson.
Amy
Then I'll say it.
Bobby
No, no. You don't know it.
Amy
Well, you just said, if you don't want to say too much, I have
Bobby
to say, no, no, no. Like, I know the money.
Eddie
He has knowledge.
Amy
That's what I mean. And you're trying not to say it, so I don't know the knowledge, but
Bobby
I'm gonna explain to you what the. Okay, go ahead and explain to them
Amy
my version of it.
Bobby
The percentages of what's gonna happen.
Amy
What Tyson foods. The chicken tenders at the grocery store.
Eddie
Frozen chicken tenders.
Amy
They have a lot of money, and they love Arkansas sports.
Bobby
Get it? John Tyson right there.
Amy
Shout out, shout out.
Bobby
Go ahead.
Amy
Good family, too. Real nice.
Eddie
You've met them?
Amy
Nope. Just what I hear. And they're very passionate about Arkansas sports, so they're donating a ton of money.
Bobby
So they already have their names on the court?
Amy
They already have. They already have, and they're doing more.
Bobby
They've got Coach Calipari there, John Carlos.
Amy
They're committing to future.
Bobby
Okay, let me just tell you what's happening.
Eddie
I don't understand the point of this. Like, Amy, you don't know anything.
Amy
No, I was trying to protect Bobby
Bobby
because he's like, you don't know what you're from. They have put patches on every one of the uniforms. University of Arkansas athletics.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
And so there's a lot.
Eddie
What's her problem, man?
Amy
I don't know.
Bobby
There's a lot of money being donated, but 90% of it's going to nil for the athletes. Wow. Instead of the university. Sure. Yeah.
Amy
That's it. 90%.
Bobby
That's what you didn't know if you could say that or not.
Amy
Didn't know.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby
So it's great. That's a. Telling me something good.
Eddie
That is. Tell me something good.
Bobby
It's so important. I want to take a picture with my ball when I'm done. I forgot I had that.
Eddie
And like, mba, they have patches all over. I mean, not all over.
Bobby
Like, usually one new for college, though.
Amy
I kind of wish they would have done a little nugget, though. A little nugget?
Bobby
Well, they have. They put the. The Tyson logo, though.
Amy
I know. And Tyson Chicken is more than nuggets.
Bobby
But what I wish. If I were to wish they would have kept the orange of the Tyson because that isn't their logo like that surrounds it, because it's red and white. I wish they'd have kept the orange off the logo because it is still what. It kind of matched the aesthetic. Yeah. But I couldn't be happier about that. It's. If Arkansas can. If they ever win a national championship in football, I have nothing else to live for. I've hit it. That's my peak. That's when some people are like, if I ever make a million dollars, ever make a billion, I don't. If I do that, I think I'm done.
Eddie
I'm just done. Like, who cares?
Bobby
I don't care about anything else. That I'll just keep. I'll raise my family. We'll all be good. I have nothing else that I am, like, dying to see happen.
Eddie
You won't want another one after that.
Bobby
If I get. No, I don't think. Oh, sure, you always want another one. But if I get one, I may not ever see that in my lifetime. I probably won't see that in my lifetime.
Podcast Host
Sorry.
Bobby
Which sport? Football. Yeah. And it's, it's so important. Like, it's a big part of my life.
Eddie
Yeah, it's.
Bobby
I'm such a loser anyway.
Eddie
But you're not a loser because it's hard. It's college. There's so many teams that can be national championships. Like so many colleges in NFL, there's only 32. What is it? 32 teams. So, like, for me to see the Cowboys win the super bowl could happen in my lifetime. Yeah.
Bobby
And it has happened in your life.
Eddie
It has happened in my lifetime. But it could happen again for you. Man, it's just hard. There's so many colleges competing for national championships.
Amy

So on the whole basketball thing too, last night was my son's basketball banquet. You know, he won the his sixth grade team, won the championship. So they had a banquet for all the kids. They had dinner, the coaches spoke and everything and it was really cool. So the coach called every kid up one by one and said a little something about him. And what they said about my son was so cool because they're like, if there's one word to describe this kid, it's Smile. He is always smiling like you. Yeah.
Bobby
Like, when I hear that, that's you, dude.
Eddie
It's crazy. And then all the players are like, yes. That's all he does. He's always smiling. They called him a. They called him a skilled player. He's going to be a great basketball player. He's also just supportive of all of his teammates, which is really cool to hear. And I don't know, I just felt really good. When a coach is describing your son with all of these good descriptions and good words, I'm just like, man, this is really cool. So I enjoyed it. The only problem was, is at the end of it, do any parents want to speak? And everybody. I mean, everybody knows, like, I'm on the radio. Like, all the other parents know, like,
Bobby
what, expect you to speak.
Eddie
So I think all the parents looked at me.
Amy
He's saying he thinks, no, the parents
Eddie
kind of looked at me like, oh, this is. I mean, this is what Eddie does. And I was like. And then I look over my son and my dad. My son's doing the. The. The cut the throat thing. Like, do not get up and start talking. So I didn't. I didn't say anything. And I had words to say.
Bobby
What would you have said? Give it to us.
Eddie
I was gonna say that I truly enjoyed watching this team. Like, I looked forward to the games that they played because they were so. And I'm sure all the parents felt the same that the.
Bobby
I'm glad you didn't.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby
Yeah.
Amy
Why should I like it?
Bobby
Pretty cliche. That was like a prepared statement.
Eddie
But I really meant it. Like, I looked forward to Thursdays whenever they played.
Bobby
Prepared statement.
Eddie
No, it wasn't. It's not prepared.
Amy
But if you're speaking genuinely, it's not prepared. It's just from the heart.
Bobby
Yeah, it's kind of.
Eddie
You know what? It doesn't matter, guys. I didn't say anything.
Bobby
Hey, sling the word. Sling it like you're talking normally.
Eddie
What do you mean?
Bobby
Get up there.
Eddie
Hey, you guys balled out, man.
Bobby
Be like, it's lit, mother.
Eddie
You guys bawled out. Dude, you.
Bobby
Jimmy, I think you should have spoke if you wanted to. Like, I really think so. I'm sad you didn't.
Eddie
I mean, no joking.
Bobby
I'm sad you didn't.
Eddie
But like, my son. Why is my son embarrassed of me?
Bobby
Because you're his dad. That's it. That's. It's not about anything you're doing. It's the relationship between a kid that old and their parent.
Eddie
I get it.
Bobby
It's a tale as old as time. Yeah. You're a good dad, dude.
Eddie
Thank you, man. That was really cool. I enjoyed it. And I didn't ever went to any high school banquets.
Bobby
You didn't never went to any high school.
Eddie
I did. I didn't. Never went.
Bobby
No, you said it again wrong.
Eddie
No, I never went to high school banquets. I never, you know, did that. So it's cool to see my, my son doing that.
Bobby
We had a couple again, small school. You know what award always got.
Eddie
I know what it was. Most improved.
Bobby
Oh, no, that had been cool though, because that had been actually like performance wise.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby
No, no, it was always like effort award.
Eddie
Tried hard.
Bobby
I hear Kevin laugh.
Amy
Showed up.
Kevin
The hustle award.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby
I was always the effort award guy. Cause I got every bit out of what I had, which wasn't a lot, but I got every bit out of it. You got perfect attendance. I got. I did get that too.
Eddie
You showed up every day, guys.
Bobby
I got the effort. And there's a lot to say about that because I think I still live with that mentality. But just once it would have been cool to get something like most improved.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby
Six, man. Because I, I had mild performance in football. I performed mildly. I was, I was dependable, but also played on a team that wasn't all white. So I was, I was fast for a white guy. I wasn't fast for a black guy.
Eddie
It's challenging.
Bobby
Yeah. And so I was a wide receiver. But if, you know, I just had, you know, big, big motor guy. Good attitude, always showed up. Yeah.
Kevin
Reliable.
Bobby
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Good energy out there. Kevin, you have anything? Yeah.
Kevin
Let's continue the sports talk here because since the Super Bowl, I haven't really watched much basketball, anything like that. But this weekend that gets to change. I love my wife, love my kids, but they're going to my in laws this weekend and I'm going to be solo. I get to relax, watch some sports, probably drink some beer and just enjoy it in the silence.
Eddie
That's a big deal. You know, when you have kids and your family goes out of town, it's a big deal.
Bobby
Hey. Hey. Congratulations.
Kevin
Thank you.
Bobby
How's rehab coming on your shoulder?
Kevin
Just a little bit further than halfway.
Bobby
Good job. All right, good.
Eddie
We're really past the middle point. Good job, dude.
Bobby
Abby.
Abby
Okay, so I was eating lunch yesterday with my mom and then we left. And we were just walking in midtown along the sidewalk and I looked down, there's a $50 bill.
Eddie
What a way.
Abby
Yeah, just like out of nowher and there's like no one around. So I always. It's awkward in that position because when I find something, I'm like, I want to return it, you know, to like lost and found, but no one's around.
Bobby
And it's like, what do you do if it's cash and no one's around? Keep it.
Amy
Yeah, like what?
Bobby
You know. You know the saying, if there's cash and no one's around, slowly put in your pocket and walk away.
Amy
But do you ever think about, like, what if someone's retracing their steps trying to find it and they go back to that exact spot and then it's not there anymore? I know.
Eddie
It happened to me.
Bobby
Are you gonna wait for a retracer? Like, how long do you wait for the retracer to happen?
Eddie
You can't wait that long. It's gone, man. Like, you find cash that's yours on the street, that's yours.
Abby
But like in midtown, there's all these bars with outdoor patios.
Amy
And I'm like, there's someone out there
Abby
watching me there, you know? Or they're like, what's she gonna do? Or what if they.
Bobby
That's so lucky.
Abby
I don't know.
Bobby
To get 50, and I don't believe in luck, but that's. To get $50, that's pretty fortunate.
Amy
Yes.
Abby
How does that even happen? Yeah, it's like a sign.
Bobby
Like a dollar's cool. Five dollars is really.
Eddie
Is neat in Vegas. I found 100.
Bobby
That's crazy.
Eddie
Found 100. And what did I do with it? I went to the roulette table, put it on red, doubled it up. I got found. So technically I found $200.
Bobby
Then what'd you do after that? I lost it somewhere. All right, there you go. That is. Tell me something good.
Kevin
It's time for the good news with Bobby.
Bobby
Tell me something good. Mickey McKinney was moving a snowblower. Big snowstorm in Ontario. He's 80, slipped and fell while moving it. He could not get back up. Next door, a seven year old dog got us. Dog named Rosa. Heard him yelling and started barking and scratching at the door. And the owner's like, what's going on? This dog doesn't act like this ever. So she goes to the door, the dog darts out, and where does she go? To the old man.
Amy
Love it.
Bobby
Yeah, Mickey, the older guy, old man, he served as a police officer for more than 30 years. And he says it was the first time that he's been on the other side of an. Of an emergency. And that the, that a dog saved his life. That's pretty crazy.
Eddie
It's pretty amazing.
Bobby
I would just think that the Amazon guy was outside or something.
Eddie
Right? With my dog.
Bobby
Yeah. With how our squirrel. Yeah, with how my dogs react. Great story. Glad Mickey McKinney's okay. Glad the dog Rose is okay. And the owner, Linda Gilchrist, paid attention to the dog. That's from sunny skies. That's what it's all about. That was.
Kevin
Tell me something good. It's time for the good news with producer Eddie. Tell me something good.
Eddie
Seven year old Reed. He was vacationing with his family and they were at the Denver airport and they're boarding their flight. So they get on the plane and the kid's like, oh my gosh, I forgot my binder of Pokemon cards. So they tell the flight attendant, it's United Airlines. They said, you know what, we'll call the airport, see if they find anything. Nothing. They don't find the binder. So the dad gets on social media, tells the story. Tags United Airlines, the social media people said, hey, let's do something to help this kid. So they send a whole blast around the country worldwide. No, not the country worldwide. The airlines company. And everyone said, you know what? I have Pokemon cards. They collected 15,000 Pokemon cards from employees all over the world.
Bobby
Not where I thought this was going. Yeah, I thought they blasted and found it. This is better.
Eddie
They never found the binder, but somebody kept it.
Bobby
You know, somebody saw it and was like, like, oh, yeah, yeah, Pokemon.
Kevin
Yeah.
Eddie
Well, reed now has 15,000 Pokemon cards.
Amy
That's so cool.
Bobby
That's even greater than I thought it was going to be. Good story. How many Pokemon cards do you have, Mike? Probably like 500 now. You're nothing compared to Reed. Yeah, you're nothing compared to Reed. All right, good story. That's what it's all about.
Kevin
That was. Tell me something good.
