Bobby Bones
it's time for the good news. Mine's gonna be a little childish.
Amy
Okay. But it's good.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's good.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
So I mentioned a couple days ago, I was kind of kicked off the ACM Awards this year for a couple of reasons. They said it was competitive reasons. One was that my show is on Netflix and it was on Amazon. Okay, whatever. The other one was, well, you work for iHeartradio and we have Amazon music. And I'm like, but you're asking us to advertise for Amazon music. Like, what? We just. So I feel like there was more to it. But those are the excuses that they used. So was I a little bitter butt? A little. But I got it. Business, right? Four agreements.
Amy
One of the agreements is don't get offended.
Bobby Bones
Don't get offended by anything happening in business at all. Nothing's personal even. It's personal. It's not personal. So it's personal. But I did. But I, you know, didn't get offended. So I was over. Because I was watching the series finale of the Boys yesterday and on trending, my special I did for them last year was one of the trending shows for Amazon. I did a 60th anniversary special for Amazon leading into that last year, and it was one of the trending specials. So a little bit I was like,
Amy
screw you guys, but it's all good.
Bobby Bones
Offended. No, a little butt hurt. Yeah. But if they called me today and said, hey, you want to come back? I'm right there.
Nicole
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I'm not going to lie. I'm not stupid. But the fact that I was up there.
Amy
So I guess people just revisiting the awards, they were able to find it, and they're like, oh, I want to watch this, too.
Bobby Bones
They probably typed in ACMs. And that was one of the two things that came up. And it was a picture of either a. I think on the COVID of the ACMs this year was maybe Shania or Miranda, or the COVID of the other one was me, and I guess they chose me.
Eddie
Oh, look at that.
Amy
Interesting.
Eddie
Over Shania, Miranda.
Bobby Bones
Hey, life happens, man. But that was my little bit butt hurt, but a little bit funny. So. And I. I put that in my story. People thought it was funny that I said, I got kicked off. I have no shame. I got kicked off. I got kicked off the show. There's no ego about that. It happens. Yeah.
Amy
Is it? That was called kicked off.
Bobby Bones
In my heart, it is.
Amy
Okay.
Eddie
I guess they didn't kick you off yeah, they didn't.
Amy
Like, if they, like, made a different. I don't know, for whatever their reasons were. Creative decision. Did someone do the little. Not little. I don't want to use that word. Did someone do the backstage stuff you were doing?
Bobby Bones
I don't know. I didn't watch it. My butt was hurt, so I didn't watch it. And I don't know because I was doing some backstage, but I was doing a lot of in house stuff too. And the reason they really had me was in case something went wrong, they can just go, hey, we need you to go fill three minutes and give me nothing. And that's what I had to do a bunch because there were so many technical difficulties.
Amy
Right.
Bobby Bones
And so when Morgan said, oh, man, the sound was way off and there were all these problems, like, that's what you get.
Eddie
See what happens?
Bobby Bones
Hey, that's what you get. Cause I'd have been out there crushing it. So that's what's up. A little butt hurt, but I get over it. It's not the worst butthurt I've ever been. This ain't. Tell me something butthurt, though.
Eddie
No, it's not. But it's good that you saw that people were watching.
Bobby Bones
Well, I got tipped off too. So when I went to watch the Boys, I normally don't look at what's trending because I feel like that's all set up for the most part.
Eddie
Is it?
Bobby Bones
But I knew this wasn't because there's no way they'd set that up. Okay, that's one. And then I watched the Boys series finale. That show is now over. I do feel like now it's in my top five shows of all time. And I enjoyed the finale. I'm not gonna say anything else about it. I did not know it was a comic book. Mike D. Has educated me on back in the day. It was a comic book that did not even do that well as a comic that they made into a show. Is that accurate?
Mike D
It got canceled at one point, so good for like an independent comic, but not like an X Men or Fantastic Four or anything like that.
Bobby Bones
Heck of a show. Did you watch it?
Mike D
Yes, I did.
Bobby Bones
How did you feel about the ending?
Mike D
I loved it.
Geico Gecko
Okay, good.
Mike D
That's all I'll say.
Bobby Bones
The Internet hates everything. And so the Internet was hating on it. I thought it was a really great ending and a really great show.
Eddie
Hold on. Did Mike get Internet back?
Bobby Bones
No, he down. I asked him last night.
Mike D
I download it here and then watch it.
Bobby Bones
Took it home on his iPad. As soon as I finished it, I text Mike. I like, did you watch the boys? And he said, I got on my iPad. I downloaded.
Eddie
I got it, though.
Bobby Bones
But my Amazon prime Special, Bobby Bones ACM 60th Celebration Special, it is up. I'm not even saying watch it, but it's there.
Eddie
It's trending.
Bobby Bones
I'd rather you watch the Netflix stuff, even if you're not watching it. Turn it on. Just let it go.
Eddie
Oh, like, loop.
Bobby Bones
Just let it play. That helps tremendously. So I have a Bear Grylls on. Hey, the Sheryl Crow stuff kind of blew up. I didn't think that was going to blow up. I didn't think much about it. But also, I'm so in those interviews that, I don't know, sometimes, what's clippable? Like, I'm just trying to have a good conversation. And it was even part of that clip we played here. What I didn't catch really was her, and I think she was doing it strategically. She said, hey, I got cancer, and the guy I was dating wanted to have kids with was like, I'm gonna go date somebody famous and dump me.
Eddie
Yeah, I caught that.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I caught it. I didn't catch it at the level that it's been caught by everybody else, because I admit in my head, I thought, yeah, Lance Armstrong's a douchebag. I got it. I knew that because we talk about that.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
But I didn't think much because we're just. We're. We're in the middle of it. And then that got clipped. I don't pick what gets clipped. And that got clipped. And it's got a million views just on mine.
Amy
So who was Lance? Who was he?
Lunchbox
Yeah, who did he date?
Bobby Bones
Thanks for asking. You know, I think it's one of two people, and I think it's either Kate Hudson or one of the Olsen twins.
Amy
Oh, my gosh. I forgot he dated an Olsen twin.
Eddie
He sure did, didn't he? After Cheryl.
Amy
How much older was he than them?
Bobby Bones
I don't know, because if it turns out it's like 11 or 12 years, then you got to go, ooh to me, because that's my wife.
Amy
Oh, yeah. No, I wouldn't do that. It's got to be way more. It's not. If it's 12, it's not. Ooh. But it just seems way more.
Bobby Bones
Let's take a look here. Lance Armstrong, it's 15 years. He was only 36 when that happened.
Amy
That's not as bad as I thought. But he was 36. And they were 21. I don't know which one he dated.
Eddie
Yeah. Which one did he date?
Bobby Bones
Ashley.
Eddie
Okay,
Bobby Bones
so it's a gap, but not such a gap in Hollywood.
Amy
Right? Okay. That's not as weird as I thought, I guess. I just always see them as so young.
Eddie
Little Michelle.
Bobby Bones
But the Sheryl Crowen blew up. I adore Sheryl Crow. One, she's one of my favorite tenor artists of all time, so, like, I just love her music anyway. But two, just as a person. None or very few. Better. So that's up on Netflix. Let it play even if you don't want to watch it.
Eddie
Sounds good.
Bobby Bones
We could use it. Okay, that's mine. Amy.
Amy
So yesterday I got a text from a friend that I hadn't talked to in forever, and we made plans and we're going to go do something. And it just remind me to kind of go through my phone sometimes, or I don't know really how to do it, but just being intentional about reaching out, because I've thought of this person multiple times over the last year or so, but I just haven't made a move to be like, hey, we should do something. And she's someone I used to work with before I worked in radio. Like, I worked when I was selling granite. She worked there, too, in tile. And we were living in Austin, but then she moved to Nashville to start her own company, and she was. So she was in Nashville before I was. And then I took her spot, like, when I came to work for the Bobby Bones show. That's the position I was leaving was when I had taken her spot. So we go way back. You know, she's got kids now. She also has been divorced.
Bobby Bones
Like, there's just trauma bonding you can do.
Amy
No, but I mean, we've lived a lot of life, Yoda.
Bobby Bones
Trauma bonding you can do.
Amy
No, but in just thinking of, like, how much our lives have changed in the last 20 years, because that's how long I've been here. So it was just nice to get a text with nothing. But, hey, it's been a million years. Like, would love to get together. And I'm like, oh, my gosh, I'm so glad you reached out, because I've thought of you. But I didn't make the move, so I was thankful she did.
Bobby Bones
That's good. Have you guys set an exact time?
Amy
Uh, it was E. No, we don't have an exact time because she's says she's kidless. I'm not. So I was like, I need to check in on the Kids schedule. Because now it's gonna. By this weekend, it'll officially be summer. So I don't know, like, are we gonna be spending the night out with friends or friends gonna be spending the night at our house? Like, what will that look like? And she said, maybe we can meet for a drink, but I haven't really been drinking, so maybe we meet for a hike or lunch or.
Bobby Bones
What about, like, a lychee or a coffee?
Lunchbox
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Martini. A lychee martini.
Amy
No, no, no. It's called a lychee, and I don't ever want a lychee martini.
Eddie
Those are good, though.
Bobby Bones
I'm told it's called a lychee.
Amy
It is. Oh, whatever. I was calling the lychee, but a lychee martini. Oh, those are on the cruise. Yeah, they were delicious until. They were.
Bobby Bones
They are not.
Eddie
But how many of those did you drink?
Bobby Bones
100.
Amy
I don't know. I have the black card. They were unlimited.
Eddie
Oh.
Lunchbox
Oh, must be nice.
Amy
I mean, it tasted like candy. So you didn't realize anything was happening until it happened.
Eddie
Lunchbox is like, I wish I would have gotten sick by drinking.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I mean, what's funny is Amy's subtle swipe. She's like, yeah, it's a black card. Knowing she has to say nothing else.
Lunchbox
And that's what's funny is like, oh, you're not supposed to be drinking that much. But it's okay if Amy drinks.
Amy
No, I didn't mean to. No, no. Nothing I did impacted listeners in any way. It impacted my body. I got sick. Sick when we were departing. Like, that's when I got sick.
Lunchbox
I'm not saying that, but they were okay going into it. Like, if Amy wants to drink as much as she wants, she can do that. But lunch? No, can't do that.
Bobby Bones
It's like, I would say probably the levels of drunk you guys get. Amy is like, mine was an accident. Amy's is also like, he, he, he. And you're just like, oh,
Lunchbox
yeah. But you know what the listeners want? They want to hang out with.
Bobby Bones
I don't think anybody wants to hang out with that sloppiness. I think there's a place you get that's pretty good, like a quarter in. But when you're sloppy, it's. It's. It's weird and gross.
Lunchbox
I don't know.
Bobby Bones
You're sloppy is gross. Ray's sloppy is. It's like he. He loses the capacity to think.
Amy
Oh, so maybe the word is concerning.
Bobby Bones
Well, both. I. I'm not concerned about either one. Of them. They've done it so much. Ray's gets really dumb. Lunchbox gets really sloppy. Eddie gets really feminine.
Eddie
That's correct.
Lunchbox
You kind of nailed that.
Eddie
No, I don't.
Amy
But dumb equals fun. I get real fun.
Eddie
No race. Relax.
Amy
Well, yeah. Feminine fun. Dumb and fun.
Eddie
Hello.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's. It's so sloppy that it's not like you're doing fun things. You're just so drunk we can't understand you.
Lunchbox
But it's still fun to you. Now, people listen. I. People gravitate towards me even when I'm drunk. Like, it is fun.
Bobby Bones
Like Eddie goes. Eddie's a straight chick, though.
Eddie
No, I'm not. Just more fun.
Amy
Mimic it.
Bobby Bones
I'd like to get another drink now. You're cute in those pants, John.
Lunchbox
I like your blouse.
Eddie
I never said that in my life.
Amy
You know, you said, I like your blouse, Amy.
Lunchbox
You did?
Eddie
I like your pants, John.
Bobby Bones
Not that we know of.
Amy
I like your blouse.
Eddie
It was a nice blouse.
Bobby Bones
I like your belt.
Eddie
Frank never said that. And Ray's lasts for like, 10 minutes and he passes out.
Bobby Bones
Oh, Ray gets drunk so quick.
Eddie
Yeah, he's done by five o'. Clock.
Bobby Bones
He's got the countdown timer. As soon as he hits that point, he's out. Okay, Amy. Thank you, Eddie.
Eddie
Oh, man. Let's see. Oh, I'll just do it for my kids because today's their last day of school and, like, I know they're so excited and it's not very exciting for parents because summer means, like, all right, they're going to be around all day, so we got to figure out things to do with them. But for them, they're so pumped. And I think today when they get out of school, I want to just, like, play music loud, get the karaoke machine going and make them feel like summer has officially started. So I'm pumped for them.
Bobby Bones
Do they all want summer to start?
Eddie
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Okay. So there's not one of them that, oh, man, I don't get to go to school anymore?
Eddie
No.
Bobby Bones
Do any of them love school?
Eddie
I think to one of them, school is much easier. To the other three, one of them schools really easy. To another one, school is so much fun. Like, they get to hang out with all their friends.
Bobby Bones
Younger.
Eddie
Yeah. Yeah. He has a blast at school. The other two, it's hard times. School's like.
Bobby Bones
School's difficult.
Eddie
Like summer. Thank God summer is here.
Bobby Bones
Is school difficult or is the friend thing difficult?
Eddie
Just school. The school part of it, yeah. They love hanging out. Like, I used to love hanging out for me. School was like my time to hang out with my friends because, like, I never had friends come over or anything. Wow. Wow. But I mean, it was just like, I get to see all my friends all day.
Bobby Bones
Dang. I wish I had friends at school when I went.
Eddie
You didn't have friends at school?
Bobby Bones
A couple at Evan.
Eddie
Oh, yeah. Okay.
Bobby Bones
Then we lived together in college and moved out. When I left the room, I did talk. Hey, I did talk to him for the first time. He's not on my grudge list, by the way. Grudge list. Evan's not on it. We became friends again a long time ago, just not super close. But he was my best friend all through high school and the first year of college. And we were texting last week. He was like, hey, you got a baby? I was like, yeah. And then I would text and he wouldn't text back for like 30 minutes and I would get like four at once. I was like, you okay? He goes, I'm on the lake.
Eddie
Middle of something?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, middle. No, middle of lake. The texts aren't going through. Oh, that's so. I don't know what order they came. I don't know. He's like a principal. He's kind of killing it. And now for a bit of breaking news. Between your breaking news with me, the Geico Gecko. Here are some things you ought to know today. People who switch their car insurance to geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know. Also, plants can hear when bees buzz. My fice just heard that. And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there.

Lunchbox
Yeah, so my oldest son has a July birthday and so he never gets to celebrate it in school because he, he's out of school. Well, yesterday his teacher did a birthday party for him to celebrate all the July birthdays.
Bobby Bones
That's fun.
Eddie
That's really sweet of her.
Lunchbox
And but what's funny is he was only July birthday so he just thought it was for him.
Bobby Bones
Whatever, hey, whatever.
Lunchbox
Class did me a birthday and he came home so excited and I guess my wife knew about it because she dropped off brownies so everybody could have a brownie and so he got to have a birthday party in his class that was pretty cool.
Bobby Bones
That's fun. Good for that teacher.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah. I wonder if the teacher has a summer birthday or she has a kid that like you have the awareness of all this.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I never had that feeling, man. I never got to celebrate my birthday in class.
Bobby Bones
But did you care? No.
Lunchbox
It's just weird how everybody, you know, their parents Would bring cupcakes or donuts or whatever, and I never got to. And I was like, man, that's crazy. But now that I realize, I didn't know teachers did that where they celebrate birthdays.
Eddie
They normally don't early.
Bobby Bones
Was that common for parents to bring stuff on your birthday?
Amy
I don't know. Mine was always on spring break.
Lunchbox
Oh, see?
Bobby Bones
Was it common to have parents?
Eddie
Oh, man.
Bobby Bones
Okay, I just checked. All right, Morgan.
Morgan
So I've been wanting to take a flower making class, like making a bouquet. And I finally took one.
Bobby Bones
What happens in a flower making class?
Morgan
So there was an instructor who has like a flower shop, and she taught us how they perfect professionally make a bouquet. And apparently there's called the spiral method, and that's how bouquets look really pretty when somebody gives you them instead of just like, you know, sticking flowers in a vase. There's like a whole method behind it. And she taught it to us.
Bobby Bones
Was this. This just for general knowledge for you, or were you doing it because you want to do stuff at your wedding?
Morgan
No, I just have. I love making bouquets. It's become kind of like a creative outlet for me, and so I always wanted to take it just to further understand how to make them. No, I. I don't trust myself to make my own for the wedding.
Bobby Bones
That's fun, though.
Amy
That's a good skill to have. I don't have it, but do you
Bobby Bones
ever make your skill? I don't know if that's a good skill to have, but I'm just saying I think it is, like, really. It's really cool that you just go and take a class that is. Regardless of what it is, I think that's cool. It might be a skill to have. I. I never make bouquets.
Amy
I say, yes, it's cool. She did it. And then also I think it's a great skill to have because you can like knowing how to arrange the flowers to make them look good. It can come in handy whenever you need it around your house or for. If you're putting something together for a friend or you can help with an event. Like, my sister's really good at it, and she did the flowers at my wedding.
Bobby Bones
Did she take a class or just natural?
Amy
No, she's just natural. She's just natural.
Bobby Bones
All the things I have that frustration with my wife.
Eddie
She's natural.
Amy
Yeah, it's just natural.
Bobby Bones
And I'm just like, grinding away at trying to get good at stuff, or I'm trying to memorize something and it's hard. And you. She Can. I am not joking. Hear it one time a song and know every word. But she has that type. It's natural to her. Like, she's the one who can spell words backwards. If you just say something to her, she can go, oh, just immediately spell it backward. Because she sees stuff in her head and she just reads it backwards.
Eddie
That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
We all have our good stuff. I just wish that I was better at memorizing. And she's also really fast at reading and I'm fast at reading, but I think. I think she might be faster than me. I don't know for sure. And I don't want to challenge her because I don't want to lose. That's the only reason I don't really find out. I'm a fast reader. I think she might be faster.
Eddie
How do you test that?
Bobby Bones
And she's a better athlete. It sucks. What?
Eddie
How do you test reading faster? Like, how would the race go? Would you guys be doing it out loud?
Bobby Bones
No.
Eddie
Okay, well, how do you trust the other person that they actually read what they said they read?
Bobby Bones
Well, because we're married and we would trust each other and she has no interest in beating me. So I'd probably do a secret competition just to see how fast she read the book as I read the book roughly around the same time. And I know she has even less time than me because she has a baby. Yeah, she has the baby all the time. Hey, Ray. Tonight's the night for you.
Ray
Yeah, that's my good news. It's going to be massive. There's going to be so much stuff going on. I cannot wait. And it's just going to be VIP for me. Nobody else on the show. You hooked it up and preached. Dude, seriously.
Amy
Wait, is he going by himself?
Bobby Bones
He's going to Kane Brown alone bar opening alone.
Ray
Solo mission. And I mean, I think that's the way to take it in. That's going to force me to meet people, force me to shake some hands, get my name on list. I'm going to talk. Hey, what's it cost to suite next weekend? You know what's it like to bring five of my boys for vip? So a lot of handshakes are going to happen.
Bobby Bones
I don't understand. Feels like he's running for office.
Eddie
Yeah.
Lunchbox
What?
Bobby Bones
Sweets at Kane Brown's bar? I don't know.
Lunchbox
I didn't know they had sweets.
Eddie
And what do you find out? What do you say? Preach.
Bobby Bones
Appreciate. Oh, so if someone like texts you P R E S H, you get that that means appreciate.
Eddie
Okay.
Ray
And also, it looks like tonight would be the night when the artists are going to perform. Kane seems to be on the road. So I'm imagining Kane, Caitlyn, maybe Aldean.
Bobby Bones
Wait, if he's on the road, why would he be there tonight?
Ray
Not tonight. Tonight would be the night he's not on the road.
Bobby Bones
Got it.
Ray
And then he gets back in the tour schedule tomorrow. So I think they're going to blow it out. That's typically what they do for the soft opening. They're going to give you the free drinks. They're going to have the apps. It's going to to be a lot of that because they want you to make this their number one bar. And I'd say it's top three already. I haven't even been in the front door.
Bobby Bones
And Eddie and Lunchbox were invited to go to tomorrow.
Eddie
Tomorrow.
Bobby Bones
Junior Bar city opening day two.
Ray
That's going to be charged. And also.
Lunchbox
No, it's not. We're not charged.
Ray
Oh, for sure. Because that's the public.
Eddie
No, we're not charged. But I did find out that's when the actual bar opens. Opens. So there's nothing special about it.
Lunchbox
No, Kane will be there tomorrow, but
Amy
you'll probably be in a special section.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Eddie
That says we can get in special line to get in priority line or something.
Lunchbox
But yeah, Kane's not on the road tomorrow, so he'll be there.
Ray
Well, you guys are going to have longer lines and also.
Lunchbox
No, we have. We have skip the line pass.
Eddie
That's right.
Ray
I'll be the first person in a barstool. I'll be the first person on the stage. First person in the door.
Eddie
You're not getting on the stage.
Bobby Bones
He might.
Lunchbox
And you won't be the first person in the door. I don't think you'll be the first one there.
Ray
Done it before Taco Place. Bakersfield on second. Me and Bays are first couple to ever eat there.
Eddie
Bakersfield.
Ray
So I will be there. 7pm I'll be lined up and ready to go.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Well, I hope you have fun and we'll talk about it tomorrow.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Hey, I want to grab this call from Nicole, who is here on the phones from Bedford, Indiana. Hey, Nicole.
Nicole
Hi.
Bobby Bones
You're on. It's Bobby. How you doing?
Nicole
Oh, my God. Morning, studio.
Eddie
Morning.
Nicole
Oh, my God. Hi. I was just listening to Yesterday's Part two when y' all were talking about the super bowl coming to Nashville and how the halftime show should be country music. Lunch wasn't sure if J. Lo was in Miami and Mike D. Knew instantly that it was. And I've just been thinking about how he knows everything. It's like he reads your mind and knows what you're going to discuss, so somehow he has the answers ready. It's just wild.
Bobby Bones
Mike D, would you like to respond to that?
Mike D
I'm a very fast Googler. That's it.
Eddie
That's true. He does Google really fast.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Ray
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And I think he's googling along. And I think he also knows when I'll get confused by stuff.
Eddie
But it's not only that, like, he knows what to put in Google.
Lunchbox
Yeah, see, I'm terrible at Google me.
Eddie
I would be like, all right, Super Bowl J. Lo played in what city?
Bobby Bones
That would have worked. But that took you an hour.
Eddie
That would take me forever.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
He knows exactly what to do.
Mike D
Or if ever you guys are like, talking about a celebrity, I'm like, I bet they're gonn to ask like, how old he is, so I just google it and have it ready. Stuff like that I just try to think of.
Bobby Bones
But I'm glad you acknowledged that because Mike is always on it.
Nicole
Yeah, he's amazing. He is someone who is irreplaceable for sure.
Bobby Bones
Probably a higher insurance premium.
Eddie
Look at that, Mike.
Amy
Probably.
Eddie
Jeez, man.
Mike D
Now you gotta get someone else in here quick.
Bobby Bones
Nicole, I really appreciate the call. Hope you have a great day.
Nicole
Can I give a quick shout out?
Bobby Bones
Get it.
Nicole
So my daughter Daisy turned one on Monday. She won't understand what this is, but I just want to say happy birthday, Daisy. I love you.
Bobby Bones
Happy birthday, Daisy.
Amy
So cute.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Tell her to go listen to the Tell me Something Good podcast and she will hear us say Happy birthday, Daisy on it. Okay, Nicole, thank you.
Nicole
I will.
Bobby Bones
Have a great weekend.
Nicole
Thank you.
Amy
Bye.
Bobby Bones
Bye. That's it. That's all.
Amy
I think you should give Daisy a little, you know, one of your baby things that you do, like. Oh, in the jungle did. Daisy.
Lunchbox
That's for Billy.
Eddie
That's for Billy.
Amy
It's special.
Lunchbox
It's not special.
Amy
Forgive a Daisy version of something like, okay.
Bobby Bones
You know, Daisy, you're like a flower to me. Daisy, I smell you. But there was a tree, it fell on me while smelling a flower and now I'm in heaven.
Eddie
Daisy.
Amy
Okay. I'm sure that'll put her right.
Eddie
Is that what you wanted, Amy?
Amy
I don't know. I just thought Daisy could have something to listen to before bedtime. But there you go.
Bobby Bones
That's what it's all about. It's time for the good news with Amy. Tell Me something good.
Amy
Triplet brothers in Florida are graduating high school as co valedictorians because they have identical GPAs. All three of them. Aiden, Brody and Colin.
Bobby Bones
Shout out Crazy. There's not like the loser one, right?
Eddie
Yeah, you would expect there to be.
Amy
Yeah, that would be difficult.
Bobby Bones
Expect to be a loser one of the three.
Eddie
How are they all smart? Like, all three of them?
Amy
Well, they're identical.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but still you get a loser one just with normal, you know, if you got three people, there's a loser one.
Eddie
Like, maybe one of them just doesn't have the motivation. Right. Like, maybe they're all smart, but one of them just doesn't want to be smart.
Amy
Yeah. And no surprise here, all three of them are preparing to attend mit.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Amy
So they're gonna continue.
Bobby Bones
I wonder which one ends up being the loser one, because for sure one of them is gonna kill somebody and be in jail. Right? You're stuck on that. Yeah, yeah. It's just a numbers game.
Amy
They seem cool too. Like they. Over the years in school, they would do April Fool's jokes on their teachers and switch classes.
Bobby Bones
And they're all about the same height, too.
Eddie
That's fun.
Bobby Bones
Like Ray and his twin brother. Not the same height, he said, how much taller than you, Ray?
Ray
He's got me probably by five inches.
Lunchbox
Oh, geez.
Amy
Yeah, like Ray wouldn't be able to trick one of his teachers.
Bobby Bones
Like, hey, they try that, Ray.
Eddie
Are both of you guys really smart? Like, same level?
Ray
No, we were both middle, but same level.
Bobby Bones
Same level.
Ray
I was maybe a little smarter than he was in the twos. I was probably 3.2 triplets.
Bobby Bones
I also think about all those babies coming out.
Amy
Oh, yeah. And caring for them at once.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
And probably C section triplets.
Ray
Probably.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
But then you got to do three of those bottles and three of those diapers.
Eddie
You need a whole team.
Bobby Bones
And they're all pooping and peeing at different times. It just never stops. I mean, I got one. It never stops. Imagine three. And then. Then the whole time they're going up, you're like, one of them is going to be a loser. We're just waiting for which one. I know. These three are awesome.
Ray
I agree.
Amy
It's like the. The Manning. Now they're not twins, but the Manning brothers. Didn't two of them, like, play football and the other guy, like, sells insurance.
Bobby Bones
He got hurt, though. He was a really great athlete.
Eddie
He was good.
Bobby Bones
Maybe the. Possibly the best of the three.
Amy
Oh, that. Oh, that hurts.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yeah. So he wasn't. Not a Good athlete. He was injured pretty severely, which.
Amy
Would you rather just have never been good? So that way, you know, from the get go, hey, I'm just not as talented or to know you're the most talented and you got hurt that one by far.
Bobby Bones
Not even a question.
Amy
That way you can just.
Bobby Bones
Well, also, you have, like, experience, and you're just not the bad brother. You're the one that could have made it too, but you were hurt. Yeah, I was looking at their names too, because you said their names, and I was like, oh, cool. They didn't name them, like, all the same letter, but they did name them Aiden Brody and Colin. So they did abc. Oh, boy.
Eddie
I didn't catch that.
Mike D
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
That's cool. Yeah. Good story. All right.
Lunchbox
There you go.
Bobby Bones
Congratulations to them. All seriousness. The best thing about this is none of them are a loser. All right? That's what it's all about. It's time for the good news with Bobby. Tell me something good. Police officer from England is in America on vacation. So he's in Nashville, and he's just chilling. He's not doing police officer work, but he's driving down the road and he sees a police officer, an American police officer struggling with somebody on the side of the road. So he's like, I'm a cop. He pulls over to help him, and so he has, like, a rented Jeep Wrangler, and he sees them struggling. He's like, screw it. So he goes and he tackles the suspect because he's fighting with the real cop. Also, that real cop had to be like, what's happening right now? Like, I'm thankful it wasn't like he was dressed in sort of this guy. Yeah, yeah. Wasn't like a police officer outfit. And if it was, it was like, a British one. So you're like, what's Mary Poppins doing here?
Amy
I don't know if you announce yourself.
Bobby Bones
Like, bloody police officers here. So. Yeah, so he holds them down. He wrestles him to the ground. The other police officer then pulls out his Taser. Tasers him, handcuffs them. They're still fighting with each other. The suspect pinned that other officer down for about six minutes beforehand and managed to fire a round from the officer's holstered weapon during the struggle before that other cop got there. Body camera footage shows this British police officer named Taylor Johansson coming in and saving the day, which is crazy. That's. That's not vacation. That's work.
Eddie
Yeah, he's back to work.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So I just think it's crazy. You're driving down the road and you see a cop struggling and you're like, I'm a cop, I'm gonna jump in. And in England, they don't even have guns. They do like warm kisses and hugs.
Eddie
Don't they have like a whistle or something? Like, I see that in the movies.
Bobby Bones
Stop. It's a crossing guard. What do they, they have a baton, right?
Lunchbox
Yeah, I think they have batons.
Bobby Bones
They. Yeah, they do. They have sticks. They have a standard non lethal defensive tool. They have spray.
Eddie
Okay.
Amy
Oh, do they have tasers?
Bobby Bones
They have a collapsible baton. They if trained, they have a type of taser and they have speed cuffs. Rigid, quick to apply handcuffs. Big shout out to this police officer jumping in. That's from Talker News. I loved that story. That is what it's all about. That was.
