Okay, I'm gonna challenge all of you right now. We didn't talk about this beforehand. Give me something good. That happened in the last day. Exactly. Amy just dropped her chin. I'll go first. Okay, mentioned it already. Arkansas won last night. Basketball.
C
That's good.
B
I didn't like the game was 8 o'. Clock. It's way too late. But Arkansas had a nice victory. Watched the game. I didn't watch it in the bedroom. I watched it in the guest room because we have that slanted mattress. So I just hanging out there and the TVs to the side, which sucks. When we designed that room, what were we thinking?
A
Meaning, I don't know.
B
The bed lays and the window is in front, so you can't put a TV there, so it's on the right side.
A
I think you're thinking how pretty to wake up and look outside.
B
It's terrible to have glasses and have to lay down. You guys don't even know. I think that's what it is because I can't lay on my side because I wear glasses. And if I take my glasses off, I can't see what's on the television as far as numbers or who it is. Numbers on jerseys.
D
Yeah.
B
So it sucks. And I sent a video to my wife last night. I was like, look, this sucks. Because she was like. I was like, do you watch the game? She's like, no. 8 o'. Clock. I'm going to bed. So I went up. We did win. I didn't sound like, tell me something good.
C
But it's good to you, man.
B
I haven't slept well for three nights. Like, I looked at my sleep score and I looked at my, the tracking. There's like a two hour gap all three nights. Sometimes I don't sleep well, but it's little wake ups. I was up for two hours last night, two hours the night before, and two hours the night before.
A
Is it supposed to be, tell me something good?
B
It is, but I'm here.
A
But you're here.
C
Okay, that's good.
B
And I'm healthy. My thing is that Arkansas won the basketball game last night and we had a bad, bad game against Auburn recently. So all good. I did watch Kentucky freaking luck out and win that game. There was 1.6 seconds left on the clock. Full court pass, Christian Laettner style over the guy at LSU, turns around, hits it with 1.6 seconds left. Won. The game is wild.
C
Wait, but that's not good.
B
I don't care. Good for Kentucky fans.
C
They're.
B
They're struggling though. All right, Amy.
A
Okay, so I had a work thing that we were going to and there was a wreck on the highway and I thought I was going to be late. And so I guess the good thing is I wasn't late and I trusted the map because I was having a freak out.
B
The good thing is that the bad thing didn't happen.
A
Right.
B
Anything's just good, though.
A
That is good. I was very worried because I left with plenty of time and then it just changed on me like crazy. And so that was a very, very stressful situation.
B
You had a day yesterday with that. Yeah.
A
What do you mean?
B
Well, and you weren't late. Are you talking about here? Yeah, a work thing. This is work. Amy texted me before the show started. She goes, there's. That's not a work thing. That's literally work. She goes, hey, I might be later than our call time. And she sent me a screenshot of traffic. And I said, well, that's saying you're not even gonna be late according to that.
A
Well, it's late for me now.
B
I thought she had, like, an event last night.
A
To me now, early is on time, you know, like, early. Yeah, I wanna be early. And just cutting it close. And the way that the time kept climbing, I just thought this could jump again another 5, 7 minutes, and then I'm screwed.
C
That's stressful.
A
And I had. I had already gotten bad news that morning. I opened an email about something else. And so it just sent me over to where I was like, I'm gonna cry. But I don.
B
I knew something was up because I said, it's not a big deal if there's.
A
Because I definitely left, like, with plenty of time.
B
Literally traffic, an accident, somebody sick, like, all that's fine. And again, I guess she could have faked a screenshot, but she sent a screenshot and said, I'm just sitting by.
C
And it was red one that she just saves in her phone. That's not a bad idea.
E
Good idea.
A
No, no, no. But I was so nervous to trust that. It was like, exit, get off the highway now. And it made me so nervous to get off and go take these back roads. And I did. And sure enough, it saved me a little bit. But no, that was piled on to, like, some other stuff that, like, I was like, I just texted Bobbi. I was like, I'm gonna cry.
B
I was like, don't worry about it. It's just work. I felt like it was about more than that.
A
It was.
B
The odd thing about Amy is I saw her once getting out of her car in a parking garage. You park on a weird level?
A
No, that's a great level.
C
Everyone parks in weird levels.
A
No, that's the first level. You have access to stairs. That's the first level where you can just. So that way you're not continuing to loop up in your car. You just park, go in, and the stairs way faster than you can drive up.
C
I like the looping.
B
I like just walking through the door and being right here.
C
Yeah.
A
Oh, no, I like to take the stairs.
E
So what floor do you park on?
A
The first level where you have access to the stairs.
B
Where do you park? And what exactly is your car? What time do you pull up?
A
So, to be honest, I don't know exactly what floor that is, but it's just the first.
C
You should know that.
A
Why? I just know.
C
Just in case we're like you. We need to get your car. Where is it? I don't know.
A
It's on the.
B
Follow the stairs. The first one you can get off of.
A
Yes, exactly. Exactly. So, yeah, that was.
B
Can you find anything good that happened that was good?
A
Like, when I started, when I got here and I could relax because I had four minutes to spare, I was like, feel so much better. Felt so much better. Maybe I'm going to have. I have a call today about the email that set me off.
B
That's today, though.
A
In the morning. I know, but if that call goes well, tell me something good. Could go bad, though. That's why when you said we were going to do this segment, my jaw dropped. This has just been a lot.
B
What about Chick Fil A? Did you enjoy that last night?
C
Was that good?
A
Yeah, I did.
B
Like, you had Chick Fil A and had it in a while. It was good.
A
Yeah, I did. And I tried my new technique of cutting up the nuggets with.
E
Did you tell us about this email? Because I don't remember if you did.
A
No, it's personal.
E
Oh, okay.
A
But it's not good.
B
No, he's referenced it 11 times. But it's personal.
A
What I mean is, like, I guess. Yeah, I can't say all of the details, but it's just one of those, you know, adult things. It's like, ugh.
B
Oh, porn.
A
No, no. Oh, yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
But it's like when you want to. It's one of those moments where you just want to, like, stop being an adult because you.
B
I wonder why she thought lunchbox is exploding.
D
Exploding.
C
It's just not in your mind.
A
No, I. You know what I mean. Responsibilities. Like being an adult where you're just like.
B
The fact that you thought that about his smoothie is the most so weird. It's like, what?
C
Like you'd be the last person.
A
Well, you didn't take the joke exactly where I was going to take it.
C
Oh, it was to go.
A
It was gonna be.
C
Let her do it.
B
No, I'm not gonna let her do it. Okay, tell me something good, Eddie. Last 24 hours.
C
Last 24. Dude, my kids are surprising me. They are notorious for Having bad grades and like not turning stuff in, just like stupid things like that. But this last week, and especially yesterday, I checked on all their grades, dude. One of them's got all A's, and that is unheard of. All A's. The other one, I picked him up from school. I said, do you have homework today? He's like, no, I did it all in during recess. You did all your homework in recess? Who are these kids? It's awesome. And it all started from Sunday. I had a powwow with the family where like, we just. Everything was out of whack and we had a powwow, talking about how everyone needs to respect each other's space. You need to respect your brothers, respect your mom, respect your dad. And we need to work hard. We are a hard working family, dude. It's. This week has been awesome, so I'm.
B
Happy about that solid lunchbox.
E
Last night I laid down to go to sleep. I closed my eyes, I fell asleep within, you know, 30 seconds. And I didn't get up one time to pee. Not one time in the middle of night I get up to pee. And that is awesome.
B
Did you, did your back hurt while you're sleeping? I don't know.
E
I was asleep.
B
But it didn't bother you while you were sleeping? So it didn't wake you up at all?
E
No, it didn't wake me up. Like the pain wasn't so bad where I woke up.
B
What do you say?
A
But when he woke up, When I.
E
Woke up, it hurt.
B
Excruciating. In the middle of the night?
C
Come on, man.
E
You know how awesome it is not to pee in the middle of the night?
C
Do you guys, all you guys pee in the middle of the night?
E
Yes.
B
I'm awake so much in the middle of the night. Sometimes I pee because I'm awake. I don't know.
A
Well, what time do you cut off water?
E
9:30, 10?
A
Oh, you need to be early.
C
7:00', clock, dude, 7:00'. Clock.
B
Two hours at 9:30 or 10 every night?
E
Pretty much.
B
Is it because you take a nap every day? Yep.
E
And it's because you put the kids to sleep and then you finally have some quiet time.
C
It's like, oh, adult time. Like Amy was talking about.
E
Yeah. I mean, my wife goes to bed at like nine, but I'm just like, okay, I can watch, you know, or something and just be by myself.
B
If you were making $5 million a year, would you do underwear? Only fans.
A
So, like, for me, bra too.
B
Well, that's underwear.
A
Okay. Well, I don't know, I was clarifying. Five million a year? I mean.
C
Yes.
A
I. I don't think so.
F
What?
A
That's just. I think that's a lot of money.
B
Obviously, for 5 million a year.
A
I know.
B
Would you do. I guess not full naked, but underwear only?
A
I guess. But the thing is, like, it.
B
If.
A
If I wanted to go to Onlyfans and make money that way, I guess it wouldn't be that much, I don't think. But girls are making a killing over.
B
There, but only a very few. It's like professional athletes, you hear about the big ones, and that dominates the news. And so everybody thinks everybody's making it. There are women that make a ton, but most don't. I read a story that the average person only fan makes like 1800 bucks a year.
A
Yeah. It just doesn't feel good to me. It's not in alignment with me. It's not how I want to make money.
B
I hear you, but $5 million a year feels good.
A
Feels great. Yes.
B
I just wonder because I'm not saying.
A
And then do I want. Is that how I do my daughter to make money that way?
B
What if. Because first of all, what if it never got out? What if you did it in a wrestling mask so people didn't know it was your face?
A
But then I still didn't feel good.
B
Okay. That's all I'm asking. Yes.
A
Yeah. It's not in alignment. No, I get that. Yeah. Because some of it is, like the public perception. But then I guess it's just if I were to do an internal examination on how it made me feel, I don't think I would. That's how I want to do it. But if I was totally desperate, I don't know, you know, like, I'm saying cut out the 5 million, but I needed to make money to, like, put food on the table. I don't know what I would do. I'm just being. That's where. Thankfully, I'm not in that situation.
B
It's weird. Eddie goes, I wish I were a girl.
C
No, I didn't say that.
B
Like, that's.
D
That's a bizarre.
B
It's a bizarre thing to say.
C
If you asked me $5 million to do underwear on only fans. Yes, dude. But nobody wants to see me. So I'm like, if I was a girl like Amy, I would do a 1000.
A
So what if it was your how your wife made money?
C
No, no, I'd have to. I would do. When I was single.
A
No, no, no. What if you're a man now? We're not pretending you're a girl. What if that's how your wife made money?
C
She can't do that.
A
Or your daughter right now.
B
$5 million a year. If your wife was making $5 million a year doing underwear only fans, would you want her to do it?
C
I can't. I can't. The message to my kids is not the right message.
E
They wouldn't even.
A
Just now you're like, I wish I was a girl. I would do it.
B
5 million a year.
C
I wouldn't have gotten married, and I would do it for sure. 5 million a year. My wife. I can't do. I can't.
E
Why?
B
Seven million.
A
See? Right. It just doesn't feel right.
E
Why wouldn't you do it for 5 million? Like, why would you not?
B
So it's just a human body.
E
Let your wife do it for $5 million.
A
It's art.
E
Yeah. 100%. I'll go get the camera.
B
100.
C
I'll get the camera.
E
Yeah, no problem.
A
Yeah.
B
I'm glad everybody had something they could find that was positive. Yeah. All right. That was. Tell me something good. That was. Tell me something good. There'S a 19 year old guy decides to go hiking by himself in Northern California in the mountains and he gets out in the middle of nowhere. When a storm just comes in, he's like, oh, I got to get back. Well, the storm is really bad. He really can't get back. All his stuff is dying. Like, his phone is dying. It's not good. But he has this GPS device where he can hit a button and it just alerts ems. And so he waited until he had to do that, and he finally hit it. He deployed a whole search. A big search team went out, canine units, drones. And seven hours later of after searching, they finally found him. He had hypothermia.
A
Oh, gosh.
B
And they say seven hours to find him. Even with the GPS on him?
C
Yeah. I mean, I don't think the GPS was working at that point, just the emergency sos, so.
B
Oh, got it. So the SOS is not a gps?
C
No. So when the authorities got the alert, all it showed was where he kind of started, and they had to kind of track that trail of, like, where could he be if he started here?
B
If you're lost in the woods, there are two things you do. Name them.
A
Which.
B
If you're trying to get out of the woods, what do you do?
A
I feel like I've.
C
This is the one where you pee.
A
Feel like you drank your own pee.
E
Now you pee and see which way goes down.
A
Water.
B
No, you're lost in the woods. What do you do if you're trying to get out of the woods? If you're lost in the woods? If you're.
A
If you track the trees.
B
What?
A
Track your trees.
B
What's that mean?
C
Oh, like. Like leave, leave?
A
Yeah, like clues. Yeah. Okay.
B
I think you're in the right place. You're going the right direction.
A
I know you, like, follow trees. Like, you. You got to go down. You want to. Don't you want to go to the water?
B
Okay.
A
How do you find it? Do you look at the sun?
B
I think you guys are in Homeward Bound, the movie.
A
Do we look at the sun?
B
No. It depends where the sun is.
C
No sun.
B
Okay. So the. The most basic principle of if you're in the woods and you're trying to find your way out of the woods is walk tree to tree, looking at the tree, because you will get lost. You will go. If you think you're going straight, you're not. You'll end up walking, going in a full circle.
A
That's what I said. Track your tree.
B
Fair enough. You look at a tree, that's your destination. As soon as you get it, you look at another tree, that's your destination. That's how you stay on a Line because you have to go around things. But if you see a tree, that's number one. Now, if you're not trying to get out, what do you do?
A
If you're not trying to get out.
B
If you're like, there's no way I can find my way out of here.
A
That's when you want to find water.
B
That's when you stay in one place.
C
What about a fire?
A
I thought you followed.
B
Well, there are other things you can do. Like if you got to kill an animal and wear it on you and all that. Create a new tribe.
A
See where the birds are going, you got two options.
B
You either stay in one place or two, if you are trying to get out, you go point to point. And there are other things that you do, like get water and stuff.
A
I just cannot imagine.
B
Build a new civilization, staying in one place. Repopulate the planet with your seed. Yeah.
C
Which is the P1. I remember you said, like, snow.
A
That's if you're an avalanche.
C
Oh. If you're buried in an avalanche, you.
A
Don'T know if you're up or down.
B
Okay. That's if you're in an avalanche and you don't know. Yeah. But you spit. You let spit hang or you pee in whichever way the water falls. Obviously, gravity that's down, so you won't. Don't dig that way.
C
Boom.
B
That's it. You want to dig the opposite way of your pee.
C
That's it.
B
And don't run from a bear. Okay. Well, I'm glad they found the guy.
C
Yeah, he's good.
B
All right. That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good. It's time for the good news with lunchbox. Tell me something good.
E
Last Thursday morning in Wrightstown, Wisconsin, a semi truck is driving when all of a sudden, it loses control, crosses the median. Boom. Crashes into a gas station. Oh, you know what that means.
B
Fire.
E
Yeah. And so Kyle was driving his truck, and he's like, man, I got to go help. Leaves his wife in the car, jumps out, runs, and gets the semi truck driver out of the car.
B
Oh, pulls him.
E
Yeah. Pulls him out of the cab. Not car.
C
Did he hit the gas pumps?
E
It says he crashed into the wall of the gas station. Okay.
B
I would assume there's some sort of medical episode happening for all of that to happen. Like, cross immediate. Like, you have to pull him out or he's probably going to die, Right?
E
Yeah. They took him to the hospital, and they don't know. They didn't say if he had a medical emergency or What? Still under investigation. But he's alive, man.
B
Is a former 18 wheeler driver myself.
C
Oh yeah, that's right. Carrying eggs, right? What you haul?
B
My CDL is expired though now, which sucks. I can't, I can't legally get behind 18 Wheeler and, and drive on.
C
But you're a former truck driver.
B
Yeah, I was. I took, got the test, got my license, hauled eggs across Chattanooga and none of them broke.
C
It's amazing.
B
But I'm telling you, you gotta respect these people driving these, these massive trucks. Cars were just darting in around me willy nilly. Somebody hits me, flips that car, 10 cars are now hit.
C
You can't stop immediately, right?
B
Oh, this thing. I'm glad I have that perspective. I respect truck drivers so much more because I've done it. Not just the two days I drove the eggs across Chattanooga.
C
Never forget it, but me having to.
B
Take the test, me having to do all of the. Oh man.
C
Did you get on the radio too? Like talk to other truckers?
E
Yeah. What you got, man?
B
I was too nervous.
C
Oh yeah.
B
I was focused on driving. I'll be honest with you. You're doing that and there are cars all over the place and you're, you're a rookie. You just don't want to hit anything because you realize if somebody hits you or you hit somebody else, there are cars everywhere. So respect your truckers, I must say. There, there you go. That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good. Life moves fast at American Military University. They're ready to help you keep up. This is Radhi Devlukia from a really good cry. And I absolutely love getting outside. Whether it's a quick walk or a few mindful steps to between meeting or a longer run to just clear my head. But the one thing that can really ruin that for me is shoes that just don't feel right. That's why I started wearing Altra running with the Altra Fit. Every step feels comfortable, balanced and strong. Like my feet could finally move freely. What really stood out to me was the roomy toe box, especially because I have wide feet. My toes actually now have room to spread out, which makes movement feel more natural and comfortable. And when your feet aren't cramped, you feel more balanced, like every step has a strong, stable foundation. I've noticed that with extra space, my foot muscles get to work building strength so I can actually move with more confidence. Whether it's a short walk or a longer run, it's amazing how freeing. Bobby challenges the team: “Give me something good that happened in the last day.”
Bobby’s Good News
"I haven't slept well for three nights… but I'm here. And I'm healthy. My thing is that Arkansas won the basketball game last night." — Bobby (03:30)
Amy’s Good News
“When I got here and could relax because I had four minutes to spare, I felt so much better.” — Amy (07:14)
Eddie’s Good News
“One of them’s got all A’s, and that is unheard of… This week has been awesome, so I’m happy about that.” — Eddie (08:49)
Lunchbox’s Good News
“Last night I laid down to go to sleep… I didn’t get up one time to pee. Not one time in the middle of night I get up to pee. And that is awesome.” — Lunchbox (09:40)
Garage Parking Debate (06:23 – 07:09)
A brief, lighthearted argument about which levels to park on for best stair access.
OnlyFans Dilemma (10:48 – 13:36)
“Would you do… I guess not full naked, but underwear only?” — Bobby (11:16)
“I don’t think so. That’s just… I think that’s a lot of money.” — Amy (11:06)
“It just doesn’t feel good to me. It’s not in alignment with me. It’s not how I want to make money.” — Amy (11:42)
“The most basic principle… is walk tree to tree. If you think you’re going straight, you’re not; you’ll end up walking in a full circle… So look at a tree, that’s your destination; as soon as you get to it, pick another.”
“If you’re buried in an avalanche… you spit or pee and whichever way the water falls is down, so you dig the opposite way.” — Bobby
“Respect your truckers, I must say.” — Bobby (23:34)
A quintessential Bobby Bones Show episode: light-hearted and relatable, with bits of practical wisdom—especially if you ever end up lost in the woods. The banter is warm and teasing, yet the episode delivers real positive energy and the occasional unexpected life lesson.
