Man, I forgot about this. But last Week I was playing golf, and I saw my first goldfinch.

I don't know what that means.

It's a bird, A bright yellow bird. And I was like, oh, my goodness. I've seen these in books. I've seen them online, but I'd never seen one in person. Dude, it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. There were about 10 of them, and they were all flying around the tree. They were being loud, and they're so bright. I. I took all these pictures. I loved it.

They're almost like neon.

[Bobby]

I'm looking at one now. Yeah, an American goldfinch. Very yellow. I would think it was a Tweety Bird with, like, a little black on the.

[Eddie]

Little.

[Bobby]

On the black.

It does look like Tweety Bird. Yes.

It's also got a little black on the head, too.

A little bit, yeah.

Is that what Tweety Bird is?

And I've never seen a canary. I feel like canaries you get at, like, bird stores.

Goldfinches and canaries are distinct birds, though. Both belong to the same scientific bird family, the finch family, also called the fringillotae.

Here's the thing. I think your bird thing where we were a little, like, we made fun of you. You thought the birds were talking to you.

To ask my nails, baby, how you feeling? Good. Yeah. I got my eyebrows wax. I get a facial today. Like, I am just feeling really good right now. It's crazy how much, like, resetting just makes you feel like yourself again.

And how much it cost you to get your hair done.

Oh, my gosh.

Yeah. I go every six to eight weeks, so.

That's still 150 bucks a haircut.

Well, she's getting it cut and colored.

Do you guys ever go to the hair place just to get it done? Like, just to, like, a blowout?

Like, I know I shouldn't jump in these. Just let the girls talk about that. Yeah, Girls. What do you guys.

Definitely a blowout. Yeah, you can totally go and do that.

It still costs like probably $100 though.

And that's just for the day, right? Like you just look good for the day.

It's getting it professionally blown out so you don't have to do it and styled. And it like lifts the hair off of your head too, so it feels more stiff style than like what you do at your house.

Yeah, I got an email last night. My 7 year old has been selected for the 7 year old all star team for baseball. We thought baseball season was over, but nah, boom. Practice starts tomorrow. So he is an all Star and he's really excited.

[Morgan]

That's awesome, dude.

[Bobby]

What is your excitement level?

[Eddie]

No, I'm excited for him. I mean, I think it's great. I'm, I, I'm just thought we were done with baseball and so, hey, here we go. If he likes it, I like it. I'm glad that they recognize that he's good.

[Bobby]

So none of you is like, oh, crap, more baseball?

[Eddie]

No.

[Bobby]

Okay, that's good.

[Morgan]

No. Kind of sound like that a little bit.

[Bobby]

Yeah, that's why I asked.

[Eddie]

No, no, because we had put the baseball stuff, you know, in the shed and we were like, all right, here we go. Like it's time for, you know, pool season. And now we have to juggle pool season and baseball season.

[Amy]

Like, are they swimmers or you mean just like hanging at the pool?

[Eddie]

Well, going to the pool.

[Bobby]

Can you be an all star at pool season?

[Eddie]

Well, I think you can. But you know, sometimes like when he has practice, you know, and the other brothers want to go to the pool, it's going to be divide and conquer.

[Bobby]

That's cool. He made all stars. It just did sound like your initial approach was, oh, man.

[Eddie]

Oh, that's my fault. I know. I'm super excited. Like I was and I was. But I was nervous that maybe he might not want to do it. You don't know. And so you go to him, hey man, it's not going to be the same team. It's going to be different kids that you don't know. And he's like, oh, I want to play, dad. All right, let's go.

[Morgan]

That's cool.

[Bobby]

What position does he play? Or do they not really have?

[Eddie]

They don't really have. They switch every inning.

[Bobby]

Oh, really?

[Eddie]

Yeah. At least in the regular season. I mean, maybe on the All Stars, they'll be have set positions, but he'd play shortstop, second base, left field, catcher.

[Bobby]

Every inning they change. That feels like that'd be confusing.

[Eddie]

Yeah, they switched every inning.

[Morgan]

Feels like a recipe to not win.

[Bobby]

Well, like, every three innings. I get it because you want kids to play and get experience everywhere, but I think I would just get lost.

[Eddie]

Yeah. Well, here's the problem. Every three games, only last about three innings because you get about an hour.

[Bobby]

Oh, they're timed.

[Eddie]

Yeah. And so you don't get that many innings.

[Morgan]

We get an hour and a half.

[Eddie]

Whoa. Yeah.

[Bobby]

Older, though.

[Morgan]

No, seven.

[Eddie]

Yeah, seven. And see, so he told me this, and he was like, hey, I guess our kids are gonna play.

You, my son, what made the all star team, but different league.

So they won't face off.

They won't play each other.

[Bobby]

You're in the hour and a half league.

[Morgan]

Yeah, I guess. And the league where you stay in your position for most of the time

just got to be, like, the rules of that area, right?

[Eddie]

I guess. Yeah.

Or coach preference.

[Eddie]

Yeah, I think it's coach's decision. Like, there's no.

[Bobby]

Every team doesn't have to do that, right?

[Eddie]

Oh, are you the. You're not the coach?

[Eddie]

No, I coached by two younger ones, bro.

Coach, let's do, like, three. Oh, but you're right. If they. If they only play three innings, that's fine.

So with all of our blood work talk going on, like, I got mine done a few months ago. Then Eddie and Lunchbox got theirs. Bobby, you got yours. So then my daughter started talking about her blood work and wanting to get it done, and she just turned 19. So I was like, okay, it's probably a good idea to, like, let's see where your hormones are. What's going on? And we booked an appointment, and she was gonna go by herself because that's what she wanted to do. And then I got a text from her last night saying, will you go with me? And that just warmed my heart because I feel like I still have opportunities to Be a mom. Even though she's feeling very grown up, an adult. And I thought it was just like a feel good mom moment that she texted me last night asking if I could go. So now when is.

[Bobby]

It's not. It's today. Oh, it is today?

[Amy]

Yeah, it's today at 2. 2:15.

[Bobby]

Well, I don't need that part. I just.

[Morgan]

I don't want to stop the time.

[Bobby]

No, I just wanted.

[Morgan]

What? Doctor's office.

[Bobby]

Where is it?

[Amy]

Well, no, I'm just glad she didn't make it for, you know, if she said 9:30, I would have said, oh, shoot, I have work. Like, either we can reschedule it or just. Or I would have to say I can't go. But because she had made the appointment for 2:15, I can go.

That's good.

Sweet.

[Bobby]

Mine's, I think, pretty small. I found a show. My wife put me on it, but we started watching it. Did you know Mike will know there's a new Spider man out?

[Morgan]

Oh, yeah.

And you know who Spider man is? Amy?

[Amy]

No.

[Amy]

Really?

[Morgan]

So here's the thing though. You can watch it in color, black and white.

[Bobby]

What are you gonna do from what we start? Well, we've already started watching it in color. Yeah. But go.

Is he elderly?

[Bobby]

Yeah. Okay. It's Spider man as an older man who stopped being Spider man because some crap happened. And so he's just a private detective, but he. He's Spider man. And like, the town's gone, but he's 60.

[Amy]

That sounds cool.

[Bobby]

It's so interesting, Mike, is this a real story? A comic? It's a comic, but it was also in the animated Spider man movie, into the Spider verse, Nicolas Cage voiced the character, and then they made it no way. Yeah. So it started as an animated character and now they're like, let's make a real live action show out of it.

[Amy]

Oh. And so in real life, Nicolas cage is only 62. I'm sorry, I thought he was way older.

[Bobby]

In real life, Nicolas Cage, though, also Spider Man. Yep.

[Morgan]

Yes.

[Bobby]

That's why he's playing him, because he really is him. I'm glad you like it. Yeah. My wife said, hey, I've been hearing about this show on Amazon that I think you'll like. And she pretty much nails recommendations, especially when it's for me. And I said, well, what is it? She goes, I don't know. Something marvel. And I said, is it that new Spider Man Spider noir? Because noir means black, I'm pretty sure. And I think that means because it's dark, you can watch it Dark. Yeah. It's also like a style of movie.

[Morgan]

Yeah. The 1940s noir movies. They're all crime movies.

[Amy]

Oh.

[Bobby]

I thought because you could pick to watch a version black and white. And because it tells you pick which one you want. Color or black? My wife goes, who's gonna pick black and white? I said, call me nerds.

[Morgan]

[Bobby]

Yeah.

Like, I want to watch it, and I want to watch in black and white.

[Bobby]

It's shot very 1920s feeling. But it's really. It's a really cool idea that Spider man is older and he quit being Spider man, and so now, I don't know, he might have to be Spider man again.

How many episodes have you watched? I've only watched the first one.

Are they all out?

[Bobby]

I don't know. We finished the first one and it said, you want to go to the second one? So we just hit yes and got about halfway through, and then my wife fell asleep. So I don't know. I don't think they're all out. No, it's. I don't want to say it's purposefully a little bit hokey. Yeah. Just that time period is kind of like. Yeah, like, it's purposefully that.

The only reason I know what noir means is black Noir in the Boys. Is that a character and black. Black. Noir means black.

And she'll flip her computer up every day and it's like it's making every sound possible because. So that's our morning.

We did get our studio. Here's the one. Our studio is fixed from the glass room where that big thing was hanging down, blocking half the glass.

Good in my life. Good in my life. We did these awesome interviews at the softball game last night. For. It was a celebrity softball game, and usually Bobby Bone show plays in it. We had no representatives, so usually Lunchbox and Morgan playing.

That's why he's been mad for the past two months.

Yeah, I played in it before, but they gave us a new twist, so now apparently we're the interviewers. They say you guys aren't talented. Why don't you guys just talk to all the players? So, I mean, I'm still riding high. We met Travis Pastrana. We met Roger Clemens.

[Morgan]

Who interviewed you.

[Raymundo]

Just you, me, and Lunch. Oh, I mean, unprepared as heck.

[Bobby]

Just sat on the field.

[Morgan]

Hold on. So Lunchbox went to the softball game.

[Bobby]

Yeah. Where he used to play and now he's doing it.

[Morgan]

And now you're just doing interviews, dude.

[Eddie]

Yeah. We sat down the right field line in the bullpen, and the players would come out and sit with us for 10 minutes and talk. And then they'd have to go play.

Did they ever go like, lunchbox, you should get in. We remember how good you were back in the day.

[Eddie]

No, no one did well.

[Amy]

Sore losers. We. I sent also, like, my video guy out to shoot with them.

Yeah, I was really cool because we had no control over who came out there because we're all the way out there in right field and we're like, man, we're going to get no interviews. This is going to be. We're just going to be sitting here and doing nothing. But the Folds of Honor people actually, like, brought people out there. Like, they, hey, can you come out and do an interview? And they all came out there and sat and hung out. And Roger Clemens, it was even his turn to bat. And he goes, no, just let the next person bat.

[Amy]

Oh, because y' all were having such a good job.

[Eddie]

Because he was having such a good time with us.

[Amy]

So you talked to the Folds of Honor people.

[Eddie]

I talked to one guy.

[Morgan]

Yeah. How did that go?

[Eddie]

And he was. Because he was helping Ashley Cook getting the right position. And I was like, great coaching. He looked at me like, who is this guy harassing me? And then later he brought someone out there and he goes, oh, my God, that was you. He goes, I was wondering why someone was yelling at me from right field.

[Bobby]

Did they know that you've been yelling at them for months for not including?

[Eddie]

No. No one mentioned that. Yeah, and I totally forgot that. And Morgan hit us up over the weekend. Another Morgan was like, hey, remember the Folds of Honor want you to go do these interviews? And I was like, oh, forgot all about that. I was more concentrated on playing, but I felt like I could have played and interviewed in between. But whatever. It was awesome.

[Bobby]

I was surprised you said yes.

[Morgan]

Yeah, Yeah. I would expect you to be like, kick rocks.

[Bobby]

Yeah. You want me to play? You've said no to me playing. I ain't doing the interviews.

[Amy]

Oh, I think he was just happy to be there.

[Eddie]

There were people on the stage.

They were Fans like, hey, hey, lunch. Why aren't you playing this year? I was like, oh, no, they got us doing this this year.

So he's at the stage of his. Whatever it is that he doesn't expect to play anymore. He's. Now they've lowered him a level to just doing on field talk.

We don't have to consider it lowered. He's just happy to be there.

It's however you want to look at it. I mean, just. Just be. Ha. You're happy to be there. You went, you were happy to be there.

He wasn't happy for a week leading up to it, but.

I mean, it was cool to meet some of those people. Like to sit down with Roger Clemens. I was pretty cool.

What if you'd have played with him

now, that would have been pretty cool too, because, like, I mean, back in the day, we did one in Austin and I got to play catch with Nolan Ryan. So then I could have played catch with Roger Clemens. So I. I mean, that would have been. But didn't do it.

[Eddie]

No, he played catcher in first base.

[Eddie]

Zach Top.

[Bobby]

Oh, Zach Top, who was surprisingly a good athlete. Zach Top.

Zach Top. Actually a pretty good athlete.

You see Danae Hayes?

[Eddie]

Yeah. She had a rough go of it. One inning. She made like two errors in a row at second base and.

[Amy]

But she's also awesome.

She won a national championship at Alabama playing softball.

Golden Tate was an incredible athlete. There was one. He was playing third base and there was a ball to center field and he caught it.

He lives here, but he was playing third base and ran to center field and caught the ball.

An 87 year old door Dash driver in Vancouver, Washington, got some unexpected financial help after he accidentally delivered food to the wrong address. His name is Joe. And he showed up to the home of Alanya Dickey and he was trying to make a delivery. She was like, oh, I didn't order food. She's like, where are you trying to go? So struck up a conversation with him. He talked about how he's been working for Door Dash for like year and a half to help with medication and other unexpected financial things. And she said he seemed disoriented. He talked about how he had fallen delivering food sometimes. So she gave him a hundred bucks. Then she made a little video and asked if it was okay if she posted it. And he said sure, that'd be funny.

A few hundred dollars started to come in through the donations. Then it went to $45,000.

From people all over the world that saw Joe's story and then wanted to help. He said he's just shocked that strangers wanted to help him out.

There's a family in Florida, they got their family dog gets out of the backyard and they go looking for it. One day, two days, seven days later, they can't find it. And someone's walking and they find a sinkhole and it's 40ft down. And they look and the dog is down there in the sinkhole 40ft below. So they call 91 1- hey, fire department. We need you to come rescue this dog. Fire department lowers themselves down and brings up the family dog.

[Bobby]

The dog was alive too.

[Eddie]

Alive.

Poor dog.

So I don't know if it was in there the whole week, but they found it in the sinkhole.

Sinkholes are wild.
