Amy so Kacey Musgraves was doing promo for her album at some point and I saw her in this really cute dress. It was brown with horses. And then at a lunch meeting that I had, some girls and I were talking about it and it came up and one of the girls said, oh, I found the link, I know exactly where it's from. And, and I was thinking, you know, I don't know, it's going to be like crazy. Well, ended up being sort of normal so I clicked on it and I ordered it and I just got it in and it fits like a glove and it's so cute. So I'm really, really excited about it.
Bobby Bones
Same exact dress.
Amy
Same exact dress, yeah, and it's a, it's a It makes sense. It's a brand she's done a collab with before. Like, has her own, like, Casey Musgraves line. Now. This dress isn't a part of that, but I'm sure that she just probably wears a lot of their clothes anyway.
Bobby Bones
Would you like it that if you're seen in it and it's on social media for people to go, oh, that's the Casey Musgraves dress?
Amy
Sure. Yeah. I don't. Yeah, that would be fine with me. I think she looked so cute in it. That's why. And I never thought to Google it, because I just thought, where in the world did she get that dress? Because it's so unique. It's, like, brown, and it's got these horses on it, and she was wearing it with a cute cowgirl hat. I'm not. I'm probably not going to do that. But her whole vibe, like, the look, the earrings.
Bobby Bones
Oh, you should.
Amy
No, I don't.
Bobby Bones
You should cosplay, Casey.
Amy
No, I'm not gonna do the. The whole look, but I have a work event tomorrow night, and I'm like, oh, this will be perfect for that.
Bobby Bones
So what's that work event? Isn't it Losers?
Amy
It is. Yeah. With the big 98.
Bobby Bones
So losers bar in town. What's the event?
Amy
Chase Rice, Wrangler and Coors.
Bobby Bones
So now that you and Chase Rice are buddies, is that why you're doing it?
Amy
No, it's because Chase Locke and I are friends.
Bobby Bones
And he's going to be there.
Amy
Well, he's working with Chase on some stuff.
Bobby Bones
But how did the station get you in that? Or did you go, hey, I'm friends with Chase and Chase. Yeah, sounds like a law firm. But I'll.
Amy
No, I got a text saying, hey, are you free May 28th for a Wrangler Kors event with Chase? And I said, yeah, I am.
Morgan
From who?
Amy
From Chase Locke, not Chase Rice. Okay, so.
Bobby Bones
But not the station.
Amy
I had no idea the big 98 was involved.
Bobby Bones
Got it. So you were just doing it? Got it, got it, got it.
Amy
And then Chase sent me. He said, hey, yeah, I don't know the details, but someone will be reaching out to you from Wrangler or courts. Like, they're the ones. So I was waiting for that message.
Bobby Bones
You getting paid?
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Now we're talking.
Amy
And then. And Chase even said, I don't know their budget. I don't know anything, but they will reach out to you. And then the. The next day, Scuba comes in, and he's like, hey, are you. Are you doing something with Chase and Wrangler at losers. And he goes, that's a station thing. And we already. I guess the big 98 had already put Lunchbox and Morgan on it.
Bobby Bones
Oh, no.
Amy
And I was like, oh, shoot, I don't want to take that.
Bobby Bones
They weren't going to get paid like you're getting.
Lunchbox
Yes, we were.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah, we were.
Bobby Bones
But not like you're getting paid. They weren't. Well, they were getting a different fee.
Amy
I said, I don't want to take that from them. So I don't know what to do. This is awkward.
Bobby Bones
I didn't know all this, by the way. I didn't know the fee thing, okay?
Amy
So I said, this is awkward because Chase, apparently Chase Locke had said, you
Bobby Bones
were asked by the event at the station.
Amy
Yes. And then the station, I guess they were like, oh, this would be good for lunch walks. And Morgan, which. Great. That's totally fine. And I want that. Like, this has been a very awkward thing that multiple people have now been involved in.
Bobby Bones
I didn't know all that.
Amy
And they have come to me, and I'm like, look, I won't do it.
Bobby Bones
No, you should, because the event came to you.
Amy
That's what. And then that's what Chase said to me. Chase is like, no, Wrangler. And course said, who. Who do you want? And he's like, I. I want to do this with Amy. And there's a social media component to it, too. Like, Chase and I are making a video for this contest that they're doing with songwriting, and I'm like, okay. So then Rick, another. Like, multiple people in the company have come to me. And so I said, well, what am I supposed. What. What should I do when the. The. The talent for Wrangler and Coors is saying they want to work with me? I don't know what to do. And I don't want to take it from Lunchbox and Morgan. So it's been very awkward.
Bobby Bones
Well, the station picked them, which I
Amy
didn't know Lunchbox and Morgan knew any of this, but now it seems as though they do.
Bobby Bones
And the client picked you up, and the client knew the station was working, and the client said, at the station, just pick somebody. And the station picked them, is what I correct.
Lunchbox
No, they came to us.
Bobby Bones
No, I know. No, I know what's happened.
Lunchbox
Okay? I'm just telling you. And they said, hey, would you be interested in working with Wrangler Wranglers looking for someone? So they sent us our information. Wrangler was like, oh, they'll be perfect
Bobby Bones
right through the station.
Lunchbox
Still wrangler still thought, oh, yeah, we're good. But then Amy has a friend, so she gets the gig.
Amy
But I didn't ask for it. And they didn't know. To be fair, Chase. And Chase didn't know the big 98 was involved either. So they didn't know. Like, when Chase said, hey, are you available May 28? Like, it's not like he knew that this. It was. And he loves that it is, but he was like, oh, shoot, I'll stay out. I'll let y' all handle it. And I'm like, okay.
Bobby Bones
So I didn't know there was any drama about this. I was just. I was just told.
Amy
And now I have a dress kind
Bobby Bones
of about the event. And it was like, hey, the client specifically wants Amy. The client wants the station. And this. They asked the station to say, hey, who's some of your talent?
Amy
So I ended up on. Had a zoom call with the wrangler and course people. And I do. I absolutely think they are okay with Lunchbox and Morgan. I think that big 98 thought, oh, lunchbox and Morgan would be good for this. Let's send them off. They didn't consider Eddie. They didn't consider me. They didn't consider Bob.
Bobby Bones
I didn't even get considered.
Amy
No, No, I don't. Yeah. Probably out of your. Out of the budget, but so I do think that y' all were wanted. It was just. It got. Unfortunately, we got screwed. Well, I don't know that that's how we would look. I wouldn't look at it that way. If it were reversed, I wouldn't feel screwed. I would feel like, oh, like, Morgan has several relationships with people, and I would understand if some of her friends that are artists, like, I don't know. I'm just thinking of an example, but, like, if you.
Bobby Bones
I think you're putting guilt on yourself that you don't deserve right now.
Amy
Well, because of so many people that have reached out to me, like, what is happening?
Bobby Bones
The business part of this is the client wanted, you know, the client didn't. I literally. I literally talked to them. The client wanted whoever the client wanted whoever the station picked for them. When it was a station thing, the client to the station said, suggest someone. Amy's friend who works in that business works with the client and with the artist. And so it was like, if our CEO has picked Eddie, but the local station manager has picked Mike D. Well, who. Who's pick when. Yeah, because of where it comes from. The CEO. Sorry, Mike okay, the CEO's pick of
Amy
Eddie gets it because I know it's a it. And again, Chase didn't know Big90 was involved. Chase wasn't like, oh, it's Lunchbox. And Morgan no do Amy. He just knew there was an event and was like, let's get. They said we need a host with
Bobby Bones
no station tie in.
Amy
No station. They just said, we're looking for a host. And Chase is like, oh, perfect. I bet. Let me see if Amy's available on May 28th. I bet she'll do it. I mean, I showed Scuba the text messages. Like, I was like. Or maybe it was Rick. I don't know. I, like, got out my phone because I was real nervous that, like, I didn't want to take away something. But then I was put in a position where, what am I supposed to do?
Bobby Bones
And you're also not supposed to go to a client, be like, oh, I know. I already said yes to this to you specifically. So I'm gonna say no, because the radio station has picked these up. You did exactly the right thing.
Amy
Well, so then, yeah, when we were on the Zoom, I realized, yeah, they would. They would like Lunchbox and Morgan. They will work with whomever the station thinks. It just was an unfortunate timing. Like, I think if Chase had talked to me before.
Bobby Bones
Big too many Chases, by the way.
Amy
I know, right?
Morgan
You gotta go. Last name.
Bobby Bones
We're Chased out here.
Amy
Okay. I know. When I'm talking about Chase, the only one I talk to is Locke. Like, he's not known. Like, not the singer, but they are friends. They are. And they're working together. Yes. And so. And I've worked with Chase for years on various things. Like, I think back that fun thing a long time ago, I got to do with Nicole Kidman. Like, Chase help organize that. You know, like some Chase lock. Yes.
Bobby Bones
What if Chase Rice was managing Amy? We found out odd, which I even
Amy
came to you years ago. I was like, hey, I don't really have a manager, but do you think Chase could kind of fill that role for me sometimes? And you're like, yeah, I think that's good. As long if you can have someone be the buffer. It's good because I don't want to deal directly with me. And so he sort of done that as a friend for.
Bobby Bones
It is unfortunate.
Amy
10 years.
Bobby Bones
You shouldn't feel guilt. There was nothing that happened here where anybody did anything wrong. It was. It's unfortunate how it happened, but I'm
Amy
glad we're airing it, because I want Launchbox.
Bobby Bones
I definitely didn't know it was like dramatic. I just thought it made sense. The client wanted Amy. The client also wanted the station. The station picked up Lunchbox and Morgan so that just. The client wins. But yeah, that's what's up.
Morgan
But you. You got a dress.
Amy
I did, I did. And you're wearing this came in and I'm gonna. Because you know, horses wranglers tomorrow.
Bobby Bones
Oh, it is?
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
So good. Gets us over with.
Amy
Well, I didn't.
Bobby Bones
How long has this been happening, Lunchbox?
Lunchbox
A couple months.
Bobby Bones
Oh, oh, really?
Lunchbox
Yeah, yeah. Scuba came to me a couple months ago with this. That's what I'm saying.
Bobby Bones
So say it doesn't matter the time. Hold on. Do not get mad. You're doing a rage face.
Lunchbox
I'm not.
Bobby Bones
No, no, no. Take a breath. Because if you start doing this and talking over and yelling over. We're not going to do the segment. No, I'm saying talk normally and calm.
Lunchbox
I am saying the client had no idea who Amy was. Chase overrode the station. Chase is not the client. That's my problem with.
Bobby Bones
It works with Chase. That's the artist.
Lunchbox
But Chase is not. You guys keep saying the client wanted them. The client came to the station and said, hey, do you have someone for us? And then Chase got his. Chase Lock, whatever his name is, got involved and overrode the station. Chase Lock is not the know.
Amy
He was overriding.
Lunchbox
That's what I'm saying. So he just said.
Bobby Bones
He just armed you. He talked.
Morgan
Right.
Bobby Bones
And stiff armed you.
Amy
It's okay. I interrupted.
Bobby Bones
Yes, he interrupted us like eight times a minute ago. It's okay, go ahead.
Lunchbox
What I am saying is the client didn't care if it was me or Morgan or Amy all of a sudden because she has a friend. Chase Locke is the one that went and said, oh, actually don't use Morgan and Lunchbox use Amy. No, he did because the station had already told us we were doing it.
Amy
Okay, but that doesn't mean that he doesn't know that.
Bobby Bones
And Chase. It works with Chase Rice and Chase Rice is the main talent. So that is why it's happening.
Amy
It's like there's picture in my mind right now. There's like a lot of cooks in the kitchen and there was like community. You're acting as if everybody was communicating with everybody. All Chase and Chase. We'll call them Chase and Chase. All they knew was that there needed to be a host. And they were like, oh, duh, we should get Amy to do it. And so they threw my name in and that's who in Chase was like, yeah, that's who I want to do it with. Like, so then also, you act like
Bobby Bones
Amy would be out to get anybody. Like, she's the only one that, like, constantly has your back whenever you're, like, mean. And Amy's like, everybody relax. Everybody relax. You think she would do something to, like, sabotage you? That's what Eddie. Yeah, for sure. We'd be like, yeah, that classic Eddie got him again. But Amy, never in a million years. Never. Do you not believe that? No.
Lunchbox
I feel like Chase screwed me. Chase Locke is the one that screwed me. He put his nose where it wasn't supposed to be.
Amy
Like, he has a talent. His artist is working there.
Lunchbox
But his artist didn't come to him and say, hey, go get Amy for this event. There was already a host in place. And Chase went above and said, oh, I'm not even going to look and see if there's a host already in place. I'm just going to make sure Amy gets it.
Bobby Bones
You're doing a lot of assuming now,
Lunchbox
but we already went over fees for posting on socials, so that's what I'm saying.
Bobby Bones
But again, that doesn't mean that everybody knew everything, because one arm knew everything. This happens to me all the time, too.
Lunchbox
But I'm saying Chase could have said, hey, is there already a host in place? If not, we could use Amy. Instead. He said, we want Amy. That kind of screws Morgan and I, in my opinion.
Amy
Oh, yeah, I. And I felt that. And that's why I was put in a position where I didn't know what to do. Like, I. I felt bad. I. And I also just understood and the example I was going to use earlier. And you may have one, too, lunchbox. But I think of Morgan's relationships, like, say, Big98 came to me for something like a month before Morgan found out her friend was doing something. And Julia Nicole comes to mind. Right. Isn't that your artist friend? You were in her music video.
Bobby Bones
Julia Cole.
Amy
Julia Cole. Sorry, what'd I say?
Bobby Bones
Julia Nicole.
Amy
Oh, I don't know why I said Nicole. That would be a weird last name. Julia Cole. And then I say I was booked for it. This is something that just that I've had to think through. If Morgan was like, oh, my gosh, like, Julia just found out I could do it, it would make sense. They have a friendship. And I would be like, oh, yeah, duh. Totally. Go do it. That's awesome.
Bobby Bones
But you didn't take anybody down.
Amy
It was literally Scuba came To me, I had no idea when I said, yes, I could do it, that anybody else was involved. And I. Yeah, I just wish. I guess it is telling that he doesn't think. I guess I'm not sure if you don't think I do have or care or have your interest in mind at all.
Lunchbox
Well, I mean, I think maybe you could have come to us and said, hey, this is what happened instead of us just finding.
Amy
I didn't know that y' all were gonna even. I. I didn't know how. I didn't know y' all got the information two months ago. I mean, I probably got it a little over a month ago, but I didn't know that y' all had been in this for a few months. I didn't know what would be said, so. And obviously we're talking about it now, so that's good.
Bobby Bones
No, get it out.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I don't feel like anybody did anybody wrong. I feel like it's unfortunate how it happened.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
But I also understand why and how it happened this way.
Amy
And understanding business, like. And that's something you've taught me, too. Like, if that if they were to somehow get invited into something that I had, I would be like, okay, that's business. I can't get offended by that. Somebody else wanted something, so. Or like, even things that I get sometimes because of you. Like, I know for sure they want you for sure 100%. But I just show up.
Bobby Bones
Kors and Wrangler didn't.
Amy
Well, but they would if, you know, it's just a. Anyway. But I just show up and I'll do it anyway. Or if I were booked for something and then you got booked for it, I'd be like, oh, yeah, duh. Okay, cool, fine.
Bobby Bones
The question was never posed to Amy. Do you want to take Morgan and Lunchbox's job and money and screw them over for you to have this job and money? That was never a situational question, right?
Amy
No. In fact, I thought it was a totally separate deal that I was getting hired for. I totally thought Coors and Wrangler were reaching out to me. And then.
Morgan
So you guys have not talked about this at all?
Lunchbox
Nope.
Bobby Bones

Unknown Female Guest
I didn't know any of this until right now. I had just responded.
Bobby Bones
Thought she was doing it.
Unknown Female Guest
I was.
Bobby Bones
Morgan's like, wait, she's. She's still on the calendar? Deleting her calendar right now.
Amy
Well, Morgan's like, she. Dude, I had plans tomorrow.
Unknown Female Guest
I. I had just, like, responded to an email. I'm like, yeah, I'll do it. Yeah, here's the prices. But I didn't know that there was
Bobby Bones
a whole thing about it.
Unknown Female Guest
So Lunchbox has more information than I. I didn't know.
Amy
Why does Lunchbox have more information and Morgan hasn't been told anything?
Lunchbox
I don't know. Maybe I've followed up with Scuba about it. I don't know. I don't know why more.
Amy
So how did Scuba say it to you? Because if. If it was relayed to you in a way that.
Lunchbox
No, no.
Amy
That was my experience. I don't think you would be mad.
Lunchbox
See, I don't think. I think you're taking my anger. I'm more angry at Chase.
Amy
But why? Chase didn't do it to you. He wasn't.
Lunchbox
He could have found out that there was already a host, and he'd have been like, oh, okay, cool. But instead, he was like. He just. He didn't even do his research before going in and saying, we want Amy.
Bobby Bones
But you're taking it personal, and nothing was personal about it. Even if there was a host and even if Chase is like, oh, we actually have control of this, because this is my artist, and I want it to be comfortable. Whomever you guys have picked, I'd rather not go with that. I want to go with somebody that's comfortable for my artist. That's absolutely fine. It's absolutely fine. It happens all the time. He probably, I would assume, didn't know who was doing it and was like, no, we have somebody. We're good. But you're acting like he was. There was a picture of your face, and he's like, this guy here, taking him down. Could have been, but didn't. But wasn't.
Lunchbox
I'm not sure.
Bobby Bones
And I promise you're taking it very personal, and I don't think it's a person. I think it sucks that this happened this way. Yes. Absolutely unfortunate. And they didn't. There were lines that didn't communicate with each other. And, hey, man, that happens here every three days. Something similar to this. But.
Lunchbox
And I guess that's maybe another way is maybe being more upfront about it instead of being kind of shady behind the weeds, everybody. Like, that's weird.
Amy
Who was shady behind the weeds and what.
Bobby Bones
What who says?
Lunchbox
People. Well, like, not saying anything and just. I'm like, we were just going to forget.
Bobby Bones
Well, that's a salespeople thing.
Lunchbox
That's what I'm saying. Like, it just feels dirty. Like, how everybody was trying to keep it a secret.
Amy
Well, I didn't. Definitely didn't think it was a secret of how many people came to me about it.
Lunchbox
But that's what I mean. No one came to us and was like, actually, you know what I mean? You guys are being replaced. Like, it was like, we had to ask. And then, like. And it was like they were a deer in headlights. It's like, to me, that's weird. Like, it just feels dirty.
Amy
Yeah, well, definitely nobody was being dirty. I didn't say anything because it wasn't my place to book, and I didn't know what y' all knew in my mind. I had no idea how in the weeds you were with it. And it was, like, totally booked a couple months ago in the calendar. You're for sure doing it. Locked in. Scuba just came to me and said, oh, they had pitched Lunchbox and Morgan for this. Just heads up. So, like, what do we do? And I'm like, well, that's for y' all to decide. Like, what do we do if that's what now that the talent and client wants, I don't know. So, yeah, it's brown dress with horses. The horses are on there. Which felt very wrangler Coors.
Bobby Bones
I don't think anybody did anything at any level to screw anyone over. I just think it was a difficult business decision that had to be made. And then also, they didn't communicate it properly.
Amy
Correct.
Bobby Bones
I think that's what happened here. And sadly, that's showbiz, baby. It happens to me all the time, too, in different areas. But Lunchbox, nobody was out to get you. I know you think people are always out to get you. Literally nobody was out to get you. It just didn't happen in your favor this time?
Lunchbox
Yep. Once again,
Amy
I don't know that that's acknowledgment that you realize nobody's out to get you, but.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I mean, I just. I mean, I felt. I mean, it just feels dirty the
Bobby Bones
way you took it personal.
Lunchbox
Well, yeah, absolutely. When? I mean, I don't know. I just feel like it could have been handled differently.
Bobby Bones
I can agree with that.
Lunchbox
And so I Think that's what I take. Personal is the way it's handled. And it's just, like, swept under the rug, hoping we're never going to find out is what. How I feel like is. What it feels like is like, if
Bobby Bones
it was meant to never find out, I think Amy wouldn't have talked about it here because they've been like, don't say anything. And Amy would have just been like, I'm nothing.
Lunchbox
I'm not saying Amy.
Bobby Bones
But you were. You were yelling at her earlier in a way that made her feel like she was the reason.
Lunchbox
No, I was more mad at Chase. That.
Amy
But now what you're saying, you're really upset is. Is how internally at our company, how it was handled.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
I got news for everybody. This will happen the same way next week. If the same situation happens, most likely, it's never personal. The right hand doesn't talk to the left hand sometimes. And the next thing you know, you got two hands that they're out trying to shake each other. One's behind your back, one's in front. They're like, what the crap? How do we shake hands? This happens all the time, and I'm sorry it happened. This will happen again in a similar way in two weeks in a different situation with different people. And if you read the Four Agreements. Never take anything personal in business. Never.
Amy
You got the book you gave Eddie and Scooby Street?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. If you take anything personal in business, you will be perpetually angry. Eddie, the book takes, like, a day to read.
Morgan
Yeah, I know. It didn't look that big.
Bobby Bones
No, it's not that big.
Amy
It's like a pamphlet.
Bobby Bones
That is the absolute biggest thing I've ever taken away from that book that I've read almost every year for the past 10 years. Never take anything personal in business.
Morgan
Lunchbox. Do you want it?
Lunchbox
No, I'm good.
Bobby Bones
Okay. All right, well, good luck with that dress.
Amy
Was this. Tell me something good.
Morgan
It still is.
Bobby Bones
We're in it.
Morgan
Y.
Amy
Well, yeah. I think the good thing is, too. We've communicated about it, too. So, yay, we got the dress. And yay, we taught. We communicated.
Bobby Bones
No, I do think it's good.
Amy
It's healthy to communicate because then he harbors resentment.
Bobby Bones
Dude, I had no idea. Like, I literally had no idea.
Morgan
Yeah, I feel like the communication could have happened a long time ago, but
Bobby Bones
I get what you're saying, but that's the whole point of it. It didn't happen because no one knew who to communicate to about what.
Amy
And you know what? I'LL own that. After Scuba said that to me, I should have gone to Lunchbox and Morgan because we're co workers and friends and I should have gone to them and been like, hey, so I will agree that I. I did some avoiding of that, so I'm sorry for that.
Bobby Bones
And he just beat you up into, like, no blame.
Amy
I don't think I'm apologizing out of. Because of how he behaved. I think I can own if you
Bobby Bones
were told they were just pitched for something. We all get pitched for a hundred things all the time, and it doesn't. And we don't have to go apologize for somebody getting pitched for something you want. You did not know that it was their job that they had, I guess,
Amy
in hearing now how it was perceived. Well, we'll speak for Lunchbox. Morgan didn't know, but how Lunchbox perceived it. Had I known he was getting that vibe, then I would have definitely hit it head on with him.
Bobby Bones
But you did not know that was not communicated to you. So you saying you apologize for what?
Amy
Well, because I'm thinking I should have just had the foresight.
Bobby Bones
You can't predict.
Amy
I know.
Bobby Bones
Can't predict.
Amy
Well, I definitely. I don't.
Bobby Bones
10 million things and three of them happen.
Amy
Sure. I. Yeah, I guess I just don't. Once I knew, I probably knew once multiple people were coming to me about it, that this was a little rocky, so I should have just faced it head on.
Bobby Bones
You got the bigger boat on the cruise,
Morgan
the bigger room.
Bobby Bones
Bigger room. That happens sometimes.
Amy
See, that sucked too. Like, who did? Who put me in that position?
Bobby Bones
That one was funny. I had no idea.
Lunchbox
No idea.
Bobby Bones
Okay, all right, tell me something good.
Morgan
Okay, so mine's a little different. My 7 year old has finally understood the days of the week. Like, this has been a struggle. And yesterday he was talking about the weekend, and he goes, you know what? So today is okay, Today's Tuesday. Tomorrow's Wednesday. And I'm like, oh, my gosh, are you understanding the days of the week? And he's like, yeah, hold on. Wednesday and then this Thursday, and then the weekend starts on Friday. And this has been a problem because everything has been like tomorrow to him. Like, everything's tomorrow. Hey, are we playing the baseball game? Is that tomorrow? No, that's Saturday. Okay, that's tomorrow. Got it. Like, no, it's not tomorrow. So the fact that he knows the days of the week is just awesome.
Bobby Bones
It's so cool, Morgan.
Unknown Female Guest
So my parents, they were outside and they have a pool, and there was this teeny Tiny possum that was in the pool skimmer and it was drowning. It was not doing well. And my dad like got a stick out. Got it out. And they have been taking care of this little baby pothim in their house ever since they found it.
Lunchbox
You said possum wait in their house?
Unknown Female Guest
Yeah, it's in a bathroom. It's secluded away from their bathroom.
Morgan
That's pretty cool.
Unknown Female Guest
Yeah, it's like in a box and they've been feeding it carrots and bananas.
Bobby Bones
Do they plan on releasing it back to the pool drain?
Unknown Female Guest
No, not to the pool drain.
Morgan
Are they gonna keep it?
Unknown Female Guest
No, they're not gonna keep it.
Bobby Bones
No, you can't keep a possum.
Unknown Female Guest
No, no, you don't want one of those. But they have, I think there's a mom that's been like living underneath this area in the pool. And so this is the third baby they found. But this is the one that was like drowning and really needed help. So they're going to release it back to the wild here soon.
Bobby Bones
But your whole family just saving animals. Wow.
Unknown Female Guest
This is a family affair lunchbox.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I saved eight lives yesterday. Went to the Red Cross, donated my power Reds and so I saved eight more lives on my sheet. So just congratulations to me.
Bobby Bones
There you have it. Congratulations. Tomorrow the College World Series starts for softball and so Arkansas plays. So my brother in law is the heading coach, head assistant coach. I'm pretty excited for that. Tomorrow they play the late game but they're playing Nebraska who just. They have the player of the year. They just announced. She's pretty awesome pitcher, also infielder. So we'll see what happens. I'm rooting for them. I don't think they're the favorite, but it was the first year ever to make the College World Series. So super excited. Ever, ever him ever in the history of the program.
Morgan
That's really cool.
Amy
Wait, so what games were you at
Unknown Female Guest
this weekend is the playoffs or.
Bobby Bones
I was at what's called a super regional. So when they announce the NCAA tournament. So if you picture the basketball, one of 64 teams. They have 64 teams but the first set is in what they call regional. So there are four teams that go there. One team comes out, then they go to super regionals. One team comes out and so now there are eight teams that go to the final in Oklahoma City. That's called the Women's College World Series. Arkansas has never been before in the history of its program. They're going this year. So I'm pumped for dj. He was also on the staff at Utah, they had never been before, and it was the first time they had ever gone when he was on the staff there too.
Morgan
Sensing a train. That's pretty cool.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So we're very excited. We're not gonna go early. It's a long. It's like a week long. It's double elimination. If they make it to, like, the second half, we're definitely gonna fly to Oklahoma City. But I've been gone so long, and you guys don't know this, but it's hard travel with a baby. Oh, yeah, Tell us more. You have no idea. I'll talk about it in depth at some other point.
Morgan
Doesn't sound that hard.
Bobby Bones
No, no, guys, really. I'll catch you up after we finish. Okay. It's time for the good news with lunchbox.
Lunchbox
Tell me something good. Amanda Howard just graduated from nursing school. She walks the stage. Let's go have some dinners. They go out to dinner. They're celebrating, when one of the waitresses runs in and goes, is anybody a doctor? We need a doctor. And she thought, is she being funny? And she sees the panic on her face. I'm a nurse. I'm a nurse. What's wrong? One of the chefs has collapsed in the kitchen. Can you help us? She goes back there with a fellow nurse. The guy is unconscious. So they do one round of cpr. About two minutes. Ooh. Stay in a lot. Staying alive. Isn't that right?
Morgan
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You're doing the timing of the compressions, not just singing the song.
Lunchbox
Correct.
Morgan
Got it.
Bobby Bones
Both might work, but. Yes, yes.
Lunchbox
And after two minutes, one round of cpr. Boom. Dude comes back to life. And you know how they thanked her? They took part care of part of her meal and gave her a gift card.
Morgan
Part of the meal.
Lunchbox
Part of the meal. What are we doing here? She should have free food for life at this restaurant.
Bobby Bones
Part of the meal is weird.
Lunchbox
Part of the meal. It literally says they comped part of her meal.
Amy
Yeah. That's bizarre.
Bobby Bones
That's bizarre.
Morgan
I don't want the whole thing.
Bobby Bones
Focus on that. You know what? If she's listening, I'll pay for the other part of the meal. Oh, wow. You know, that's good. The part they didn't pay for. If you reach out to me, I will pay for the rest of that meal. Amazing that that chef was saved. That part of the meal thing blows my mind. That takes the whole story. Okay, this is. Tell me something good, right?
Lunchbox
Yeah. Shout out. Amanda Howard. You know you saved your first life on the night you graduated and got
Bobby Bones
a 30% off a meal. All right, that's what it's all about. It's time for the good news with Bobby.
Lunchbox
Tell me something good.
Bobby Bones
Ten years ago, Julissa Gomez and her husband Anthony befriended their neighbor who was 87 years old. That neighbor was named Delmar. That's an old person name that I like. Like, I never met a Del Mar.
Amy
No, I just know, like, Del Mar. Like, isn't that like, is there like
Morgan
a Costa del Mar from the sea?
Amy
Del Mar?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Not familiar with that.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Since then, they have developed a deep family like bond. Del Mar was never married, has no relatives anywhere near. They're all out of state. And so the young couple stepped up to make sure one, that he wasn't alone for holidays or birthdays or tough life moments. And so the friendship inspired them to write a book called the Friendship Next Door with Delmar.
Amy
That's cute.
Bobby Bones
The goal of that book was to raise money to support Del Mar's living expenses and health needs. It worked. Enough money was raised from book sales to supplement his security, Social Security checks, and even wipe out his complete medical debt. That's wild because I think after a certain amount of books, you're probably like, I like some money. Yeah, good for Del Mar. But that's awesome. And she hopes that this will inspire others. This is from Yahoo. This is not her doing a GoFundMe. It's them writing a book and then giving the money away back to Del Mar. That's a great story. That is what it's all about. That was. And now for a bit of breaking news. Between your breaking news with me, the Geico gecko, here are some things you ought to know today. People who switch their car insurance to geico save about $900 a year. Experts are calling that nice to know. Also, plants can hear when bees buzz. My ficus just heard that. And finally, animal experts have confirmed that goats have regional accents. I'm getting a hint of Irish there.

They start with soil test and climate data to build a yard plan tailored to where you live, then ship everything directly to your door.
