Amy
Come on, Bobby.
Bobby Bones
Transmitting across America.
Welcome to Thursday's show morning studio.
Lunchbox
Morning.
Bobby Bones
The baby slept five and a half hours last night. New record. Oh. Which A lot. A lot.
Amy
Great.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I don't even get that kind of sleep. I don't think I slept that much last night. But the baby slept five and a half hours. We went to the pediatrician and for the second appointment and forever we would wake her up at two and a half hours because you wake her up to feed her constantly and they were like, you're good. You can now just let her sleep and let hunger wake her up. So five and a half hours. I don't know. It's got to be some kind of record.
Amy
That's awesome.
Bobby Bones
I just think everything she does now is like setting records. There was a story about the social media influencer who she was in a fake name. Like a apparently like a hotter name. Her name is Mia Ventura.
Amy
That's her hot name.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Okay. Okay.
Bobby Bones
And say hi to you.
Amy
It sounds. I don't know her real name. I mean if for giving her real
Bobby Bones
name is Adva Levy.
Amy
Okay. I don't know.
Bobby Bones
That also sounds. That sounds like exotic me is cool. So what she would do is she would get on dating apps and then meet dudes and burglarize their houses.
Female Co-host
That's just me.
Amy
She a one man team working alone or did she?
Bobby Bones
The 28 year old's facing six felony counts including first degree residential burglary and grand theft for posing as a girlfriend or travel companion, you know, to meet these dudes and then gained access to their homes and stole cash gold, any designer items they Had. She has pleaded not guilty to the charges. She's currently out on ANKLE Monitor arraignments April 6th. If convicted, she could face up to 11 years and eight months in prison. ABC7.
Female Co-host
That is so evil.
Bobby Bones
I need to see what she looks like.
Amy
Travel companion. Like.
Bobby Bones
Well, I mean, certain sites probably offer travel companion. Do you have a picture of her? Yeah.
Amy
Oh, wow. She's really pretty.
Bobby Bones
I can see where dudes but definitely fall for it.
Amy
Yeah, they're like, here's my passcode.
Female Co-host
Whatever you want.
Amy
Yeah. She's like, what you want to give?
Bobby Bones
If they're giving them to her? I mean, she's. I don't think they were giving her any.
Female Co-host
And she's pleading not guilty. So all these people claiming that she stole just kind of.
Bobby Bones
I think the not guilty is probably. If I can be recreational lawyer here. And so she gets a lesser sentence. Like they, they. They settle.
Female Co-host
Oh, I thought that you get lesser
Bobby Bones
if you plead guilty, like a plea. Well, I don't.
Amy
Yeah, like, just admit it and let's get this over.
Female Co-host
Right.
Bobby Bones
I don't think that's really. For people who. Who played not guilty. Oh, I don't think you just do it. 67 of people say scrolling is part of their going to bed routine. I'm in that.
Female Co-host
Really?
Bobby Bones
I for sure scroll until I get real sleepy, and then I turn my podcast on and put in my ear and go to sleep. One, one end. And what I do now is I can take the podcast if I'm on one side. I can now flip ears and just turn the airpod upside down.
Amy
Clarify. You turn a podcast on? Not when you say my podcast sounds like you're listening to the Bobby cast and going to bed.
Female Co-host
That's a good point.
Bobby Bones
That would be terrible.
Amy
That would be so weird. I don't want people to think that about you.
Bobby Bones
What's weird? In my dream, sometimes if they're interviewing someone, I hang out with that person in my dream.
Female Co-host
That's cool.
Amy
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Like the. They were interviewing the Michigan State basketball coach in one of the podcasts, and in my dream, I was dreaming I was hanging out with them as they were interviewing him. Yeah, that was crazy. 1940s names are hot. If you notice babies having the same name as your grandmother, There's a reason 1940s girls names are hot right now. Names like Marjorie, Deborah, Marilyn, Judith, Eileen, Sylvia, Bonnie, Virginia, Cynthia, Louise, and Dorothy.
Amy
Cute.
Bobby Bones
Not all.
Amy
I. I like all those.
Bobby Bones
You think baby Marilyn is good?
Amy
Marilyn?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
My grandma was Marilyn.
Bobby Bones
That's right. Grandma. That's a Great grandma name, but it's back. Yeah, I hear you. I had floated to my wife to name our daughter Sue. It could be Suzanne.
Amy
I don't like that. I like Sue's out there. I don't like that for you.
Bobby Bones
Well, because. Because her last name is E. Starts with the E. Our last name Sui.
Female Co-host
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Pig Suey.
Female Co-host
You're not serious. Is that really what you thought?
Amy
Why not? Why not just make her first name Pig, middle name Sue, Pig Suey?
Bobby Bones
Because I didn't want it to be so on the nose when we were going through names. Because our daughter's named Billy, but it's named after Caitlyn's dad, whose name is Billy. On his birth certificate, it's Billy. People call him Bill. Although I've never said his name to him ever once. It's still, it's. It's one of my longest running bits.
Female Co-host
What do you call him?
Amy
Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Female Co-host
Wait for him to turn around.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's basically. Yeah, never. And so that's what we chose to do. And we were going through the process though, of just going through a bunch of names. Went through 20, 30, 40 names. And I said, what about like, Sue, Suzanne? And I was like, I have an aunt named Sue. And so she really thought it was for that reason. And then like a light bulb went off, she was like, sue, E. Suey. No, I'm not naming a pig Suey. Hello, Bobby Bones. One of my close friends recently started dating my ex. She actually came to me first and got my blessing. And while I've tried to be mature about it, it already feels a little uncomfortable. What's pushing it over the edge is she keeps coming to me for advice on how to make things work with him, like I'm some kind of resource. She insists it's not weird and says I know him better than anyone, but hearing their relationship in detail makes me uncomfortable. How do I shut it down without ruining our relationship? Signed, extra complicated. Yeah, you said that she could date him and so she did. All good. Everything checks out. Now you have to say to her, don't come to me about the details because I'm not a good resource. Obviously it didn't work between us and it makes me uncomfortable. Right, so you had the maturity enough to say, yeah, go for it. So continue. Elevate that maturity to going, hey, this is not for me. Because that is a somewhat difficult conversation to have to tell your friend. I'm not here to talk about something with you. Yeah, but I think she'll understand.
Amy
Uh huh. Let's hope. So. I think it's one thing to say, yeah, you can date him. And this whole another thing to.
Bobby Bones
That's weird though.
Amy
Become the go to with all the issues because you have experience with him. I would imagine you're. It's very normal that you're bothered by that. I would say if you had 10 people, nine are going to be bothered. So don't think it's weird. And I think setting that boundary is totally appropriate.
Bobby Bones
Yes. And it would be on brand because you were mature enough to let stage one happen. So now. But it's. If she's coming, like, how does he like his head scratched?
Amy
Ew. No.
Female Co-host
It's so awkward.
Amy
I think she's coming to her with more problematic stuff.
Bobby Bones
What do I get him for his birthday day? And then what if you know, like you've seen that things are happening with her, they happen in your relationship and that was kind of the beginning to the end. It's putting her in a bad place all the way around. So you need to cut yourself off from this. That's what we recommend. It would not make you a bad friend to do that. Thank you for emailing us. There you go. Close it up. Kenny Chesney is how many years old today? Take a guess.
Amy
Kenny is 52, 58. Oh, wow.
Bobby Bones
Number one streaming Kenny Chesney song is
Amy
Kenny American Kids number one.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Kenny Chesney
Nailed it.
Bobby Bones
I do love. I have like eight of the. I told him to his face. I was like, I don't really like beach Kenny. I like sad Kenny. But I was talking to Kenny and he put out a greatest hits album when nobody knew who he was. His he was losing his record. Everything was going wrong for him. So we talk about that and the song that he did not think was going to be a hit that ended up being a massive song for him. Let's go on the Bobby Bones show now.
Kenny Chesney.
Kenny Chesney
Look, Bobby, I had what's crazy, what is really crazy about my life and my career is I had an 18 song greatest hits album and nobody knew who I was.
Bobby Bones
So then why did you make the greatest hits if they weren't that great?
Kenny Chesney
Because we had the songs and it was honestly, it was a marketing move by the label. Okay. Now, okay, none of these are really successful, so we're just going to bunch them all together and make it successful. We went double platinum on a bunch of songs that weren't that successful. So it's a true story. And then that led me into the where that it was during that period that I went, okay, we have to make this better.
Bobby Bones
So you had a greatest hits album that launched your career. Like, we didn't supercharged it.
Kenny Chesney
I would say it was double platinum. We sold 2 million greatest hits records, you know, and. But that gave me time. And there was about, about a two year period from when the greatest hits package came out to when the no Shoes, no Shirt, no Problems album came out. That completely changed my life. And because the music had changed, I had changed mentally, I had changed physically, I was in shape, I was. My brain was on fire with creativity and it just changed. If you listen to Nani's Country Kenny and then you can see the progression sonically. And I think that the song sense got better. And I, I remember having a Coming to Jesus meeting with myself and I said, you have to be better. You have to be better. The songs have to be better, the production has to be better. You as a human being, you have to be better. You, you, you. I'll never forget it. I was in my apartment complex out east of town and it was one of those epiphany moments. And I had a list of things on a yellow note on a yellow legal pad of things that I could change, that would. That needed to happen for me to go to the next step. And I started working on that list
Bobby Bones
of all of your songs. Which song ended up being a monster that maybe you didn't quite think it would be? And I'm sure you have confidence in all of it.
Amy
Yeah.
Kenny Chesney
But one that surprised me was Save it for a Rainy Day. And I, I don't know that it was the biggest hit, but I didn't. I mean, it was, it was on brand. I knew when I heard it that it was on brand, if you will, and that it might be fun live. But when we kick into that today, I went, oh, wow. I mean that was a real hit. There's that one. Well, I mean, the first time I heard when the Sun Goes down. Oh yeah, that, that's going to work. I don't know that it's going to be an eight week number one, which it was, but I didn't know it was going to be that. That surprised me. But I knew it was going to be good for us. You and Tequila. I didn't know what it was going to do, but that song didn't even go number one. I had more number two records than probably any act in the in the world. I mean, I've had like 14 or 15 songs that didn't hit number one. That was number two. Like, no Shoes, no shirt, no problems. Went to number two.
Bobby Bones
That wasn't a number one.
Kenny Chesney
Nope. It got stuck behind my friend Jimmy Buffett and Alan Jackson's five o' clock somewhere for eight straight weeks.
Bobby Bones
Wow, that's just bad.
Kenny Chesney
Same label pissed me off. Oh, okay.
Bobby Bones
Because they didn't make the call to go pull that one back to play.
Kenny Chesney
Let's do a little bit. But that record was so hot, they couldn't maneuver it. You know what I mean?
Bobby Bones
So happy birthday to Kenny Chesney, 58 years old today. If you want to hear that full interview, it is an hour long. Go search for the Bobby cast and listen to the interview with Kenny Chesney.
Amy
Bones.
Bobby Bones
Amy got a celebrity hitting her up in her dms. Oh, I don't know who it is. She has positioned this as guess. The celebrity in my dms.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Are they hitting on you?
Amy
I didn't think so at first, but now I.
Bobby Bones
And you're going to tell us who it is?
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
I don't know. Should I?
Female Co-host
Then why are we playing this game
Bobby Bones
why are we playing this game if you're not going to tell us?
Amy
I.
Bobby Bones
Can you. Can you tell us?
Amy
I'm not gonna go. I'm not gonna do anything. I'm not replying.
Bobby Bones
Like, can you tell us what the message was?
Amy
Once I realized it might be leaning that way. I'm not even corresponding. Like, I'm not. Because I'm not.
Bobby Bones
Can I see it and see what they said and just see? No.
Amy
I mean, I thought you want to guess who it is, but you're not gonna say.
Bobby Bones
But you're not gonna say.
Amy
I'm not gonna say. Okay.
Bobby Bones
No, no.
Sponsor/Ad Voice
You.
Bobby Bones
We want you to say. Can I just see?
Amy
Okay, I'll say. I thought we could play a game.
Female Co-host
I have a guess.
Amy
I guess I don't care if we
Bobby Bones
say as a dude. You think it's a dude. Oh, 100 in country music.
Female Co-host
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Hitting her up.
Female Co-host
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Why? What is your.
Female Co-host
Why?
Bobby Bones
This all feels weird.
Female Co-host
It does feel weird.
Bobby Bones
Why do you have your guests?
Female Co-host
Because I feel like it's someone that would reach out to Amy to see what's up.
Bobby Bones
Because they've been flirty with her.
Female Co-host
No, no. But now is an opportunity for them to be flirty.
Amy
Why not?
Female Co-host
Not in the past, but now.
Bobby Bones
Chase Rice.
Female Co-host
Nope.
Amy
Oh, he has a girlfriend.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I didn't know you said that. You accidentally ended up at dinner with him.
Amy
I know, but with other people.
Bobby Bones
Eddie, who do you think it is?
Female Co-host
They hung out in Nassau.
Bobby Bones
Keith Urban. Oh, that would be Amy, do it. Amy, you have to do it. Amy, do it.
Amy
It's not.
Kenny Chesney
Oh, dang.
Bobby Bones
Dating lunchbox. Anybody come to mind?
Lunchbox
Man, I was trying to think of who is. Man. What if they're not single, though? Maybe that's.
Bobby Bones
I don't think she'd bring it up if that were the case.
Female Co-host
Oh, that'd be crazy.
Lunchbox
Okay, then it's probably Jake Owen.
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
No. All right, interesting.
Amy
I'll say this. They're not in country.
Female Co-host
Oh, they're not.
Bobby Bones
But they're in Nashville.
Amy
No.
Female Co-host
Hey, Amy. How famous?
Bobby Bones
Let me see. I won't say who it is. I won't say who it is.
Female Co-host
You don't want to play the game.
Bobby Bones
No, she may say who it is.
Amy
I'm not handing you my phone because you could click something, and I'm not
Bobby Bones
like, what's in your pictures.
Amy
No, no, no. You might. I was gonna show you the DMs, but what if you accidentally double?
Bobby Bones
I won't touch anything.
Amy
And I'm not communicating.
Bobby Bones
I won't double. I won't double touch anything.
Amy
I'm not gonna reply.
Female Co-host
You haven't responded at all.
Bobby Bones
I do not know who it is.
Amy
Yes, it's a him.
Bobby Bones
Okay, okay.
Amy
Let me give you initials.
Bobby Bones
Okay, I want to see the messages. If they're even flirting with you. Oh, now you're. Five minutes ago, you weren't even sure. What's the percentage.
Amy
When he first DM'd me, I thought, this is normal. And then I was getting invited on, like, a road trip.
Bobby Bones
And then you got a bite on a road.
Amy
Well, he was implying, come to this road trip. And then I didn't reply. So then two days later, he goes, anyway, coffee next week. Because, like, that's a date. Because. But I. But I'm ignoring. Because I'm not trying to go on a date.
Bobby Bones
Huh.
Female Co-host
I'm intrigued.
Bobby Bones
And they're not country music. And it's not Nashville, is it? Somebody in the music.
Amy
Don't hit anything.
Bobby Bones
I'm not gonna hit anything. No, I hit anything I wanted. Okay, here we go. No. No way.
Female Co-host
Really, really huge.
Amy
Here, I'll show you the messages.
Bobby Bones
I think that I don't look this.
Amy
Don't touch.
Bobby Bones
How did I even know to message you?
Amy
Don't touch.
Bobby Bones
See?
Amy
Did it scroll down? What's going on?
Bobby Bones
Okay, so he's.
Female Co-host
He's got a touch.
Bobby Bones
He came at you. Did you meet him?
Amy
I did.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I met him.
Amy
I met him. And then he said, what's your Instagram?
Female Co-host
Okay, when did they meet?
Amy
And I was like, oh, okay. Night being nice.
Lunchbox
Okay. I know where Amy met him.
Bobby Bones
In Austin.
Female Co-host
In Austin?
Lunchbox
Yeah. Die Hard Awards or the Podcast Awards. Whatever.
Bobby Bones
Southwest. So was he at the Podcast Awards?
Amy
I haven't. Yes.
Bobby Bones
Okay, now I know who it is. But what if they guess it?
Female Co-host
She won't tell us.
Bobby Bones
Can I. Don't.
Amy
Lunchbox is going to. I can already tell. So don't.
Bobby Bones
Can I give them a hint? Just a hint. But you wanted us to play the game, to guess who it was.
Amy
I know, but then you made me. You're like, oh, you're gonna say who it is.
Bobby Bones
Like, I got excited. It was a good segment.
Female Co-host
And this is easy because now we're just gonna look at your Instagram and see who you've met in the past.
Amy
Yeah. Like, you'll see, but do you have a picture on your Instagram with the person don't know.
Female Co-host
Yeah, she does.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
Ah, yeah. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So what if we say. Can we say it?
Amy
It's fine if we say. I guess. I just. I don't know.
Bobby Bones
If you're not gonna do it, I think we can say it.
Amy
Here's the thing.
Bobby Bones
If you're gonna do it, I don't think you say it.
Amy
He thinks. I think he thinks I live in Austin.
Female Co-host
What did you mean?
Bobby Bones
But does he live in Austin?
Amy
No, but he's there for other stuff, like a show.
Bobby Bones
Oh, okay. So can I give him a hint?
Amy
Sure.
Bobby Bones
He was soup. He was really famous 10. 10 to 15 years ago. I don't know anything he's done recently, but I watched a show he was on religiously.
Amy
Yeah. And the only reason why I sent a reply to begin with, because I was like, I don't know. I can't. I'm not gonna reply. I'm not trying to engage.
Lunchbox
I know who it is. I know who it is.
Amy
So he.
Bobby Bones
I know who it is. Okay, let her talk. Oh, my gosh. I got it.
Lunchbox
I. I saw the picture, Amy.
Bobby Bones
I saw.
Lunchbox
I saw your picture. I saw your picture.
Bobby Bones
We got it. Okay. Oh, my God. Everybody relax.
Amy
So I. After the Podcast Awards, I went over to my best friend from high school, Scott, and he was like, oh, so who hold you interview? And I say. And I was like, oh, yeah, he got my Instagram. And he's like, what? We have to check this. So I check. And I was like, oh, my gosh, he's already DMed. He said, check one, two. And he goes, you have to reply. You have to reply. You have to reply. And I was like. So I replied, three, four.
Female Co-host
I saw that he said, check, one, two. That's funny.
Amy
Probably because it was radio, Amy. I don't know. So I said three, four.
Bobby Bones
And then we don't say, check, one, two on the radio
Amy
microphone. Check, one, two. I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Okay, go ahead.
Amy
Whatever. So then I realized, like, oh, I think he's like. I thought he was just being nice, and then I was like, oh, I think he's. I don't know what he's looking for, but I. I can't reply because I don't. I'm not trying to go out with him.
Bobby Bones
Okay, if you're not trying to go out with him, I think you can say who it is. If you are trying to go out with them, I think you don't say who it is.
Amy
Well, we also.
Bobby Bones
Okay, you brought the segment up. I didn't throw you under the bus. You brought the segment up.
Amy
I know.
Bobby Bones
Say who it is.
Amy
He was on a show called Entourage.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yeah.
Female Co-host
That's awesome. That's awesome.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Jeremy Piven.
Female Co-host
That's awesome. Amy, why are you just ignoring this?
Amy
Well, we also haven't discussed other things also.
Bobby Bones
It's like, I don't. Oh, yeah, that's true too.
Amy
Bobby.
Bobby Bones
Hello.
Amy
Oh, do you understand?
Female Co-host
Wait, what?
Bobby Bones
Okay, the next segment. We'll talk about that. I forgot the next segment.
Female Co-host
Your eyes.
Bobby Bones
Dude, I've been gone for two weeks with a baby. That's on me.
Amy
Bobby has a baby brain.
Bobby Bones
Big time. Okay, so I would write if you want to do it for fun. I've just heard stories. Not. Not great.
Amy
I googled and I saw some not great.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, not great stories. I wouldn't recommend you go out with him, but if it's. If you're just doing it for fun, that's great. In the next segment, all right, we'll talk about Amy not being with her boyfriend anymore. Okay, so hold on. That's me. All right, next segment. Next segment. All right, we'll come back.

Yeah, this order is really messed up with today's show. In the last segment, Amy said that she met Jeremy Piven and he hit her up on Instagram. And now in this segment, we're doing it backward. Amy and her boyfriend broke up a while ago, but. But we were gone. I was off having a baby.
Female Co-host
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And she was like, hey, we can talk about it whenever. But we were gone. But it's been sitting inside of me. It's just something known. And I forgot we hadn't talked about it on the show.
Amy
Right. So.
Bobby Bones
And they didn't know.
Amy
I definitely wanted to address that because I didn't be weird. Like, well, why would you, why would you even give Jeremy Piven your Instagram? Which, first of all, we were in a professional setting and he asked for it on the red carpet. It wasn't. I kind of thought, what was that? What was I gonna say? Like, oh, I have a boyfriend. He's like, dude, I thought I, I was gonna ask you to work a red carpet for me or something.
Bobby Bones
I know. Dude does that. If a dude's asking for an Instagram, he's asking for the Insta down. You know what I'm saying?
Amy
Well, whatever. So I was like, oh, radioing me. And I didn't really think about it. And then I, when I was, this is why I haven't replied. I don't know that I'm interested. I'm just out of a Relationship. Not like he's really asking for anything big, but then also. Yeah. We haven't talked about how we broke up.
Bobby Bones
How long would you break up?
Amy
I mean, it's been a couple weeks.
Bobby Bones
More than that.
Lunchbox
Oh, man.
Amy
A few weeks.
Bobby Bones
It's been a month at least.
Lunchbox
Oh, man.
Amy
It's been a month.
Bobby Bones
Yes, it's been a month.
Amy
Well, we still talk, like, I guess it just isn't felt. I have to tell her totally how
Bobby Bones
long it's been real.
Amy
I mean, we went out for over a year and we have kids and so I think it's just been.
Bobby Bones
You don't have kids together. When you say that, you make it sound like you have kids. No, no. You each have individual children.
Female Co-host
Yeah.
Amy
Now I wish we had a baby.
Bobby Bones
Amy wants a bab out too, by the way.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
Bobby's baby is so cute. So we, I get, I think, because we both have our own children and we have relationships with our kids and we were, we broke up and then we needed to talk to them and tell them and we're still going to be involved. Like, he still checks in. Like, Stevenson just had a track meet. He's still trying to coach Stevenson and help him break, you know, his mile time so he can break his record.
Female Co-host
But that's got to be like a
Bobby Bones
going away tour, right?
Amy
I don't know. Because I'm like, you don't?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, because let's say he gets another girlfriend or you get another boyfriend. Let's say you and Jeremy Pippen get together.
Amy
That's not gonna happen. He.
Bobby Bones
Jeremy pimp is not gonna want this dude to still be like, coaching your kid when it's an ex.
Female Co-host
And he may not want to do that either.
Amy
True. And then, yeah, if he gets a girlfriend, like, because I, I even to be respectful, especially the kids, so they don't get confused. Like, one of his sons was having a basketball game and I was like, well, I want to go. So. And I. And, and his son was like, I. I still. His son even texted me after the breakup, like a really sweet message that. I mean, anytime I think about it, I get emotional. It's just really sweet. But I was like, well, I'll come to a game or we'll have Starbucks dates or whatever. And obviously, yeah, that may have to die if there are other people in the picture. But I sent my ex a voice text that said like, hey, let me know if you're out of town and I can make it to a basketball game. And then he replied, he's like, I don't have to be out of town for you to come to a game. And I was like, oh, I was just trying to be.
Bobby Bones
Sounds like he's still in love.
Amy
Respectful of the. No. Well, I mean, I think we love each other. I just. I think we both do. I just don't know that it would. It's going to work.
Bobby Bones
And that's maturity.
Amy
Very. Like. It's the healthiest breakup I've ever experienced in my entire life. And it. I don't know. It's hard to explain, but you were
Bobby Bones
married so long, though, that a lot of your breakups when you were.
Amy
I know. College.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And those aren't supposed to be healthy. You're an idiot, kid.
Amy
I just was like, wow, this was so mature and healthy.
Bobby Bones
That.
Amy
Like, what? And you know, you. So you're getting you. You've been used to life with someone for over a year, and then suddenly it's not so then I was having all these feelings. Emotions, and I was. My therapist was reminding me to be patient and work through them because just because you missed something doesn't mean it wasn't the right decision. So I am still navigating that. That loss of. In that feeling of comfort of him. And.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
It's just a reminder of. Yeah. Just because sometimes you have to make a decision that's hard and painful doesn't mean that it was the wrong.
Bobby Bones
Maybe you do need a Jerry Piven decision.
Amy
What does that mean?
Bobby Bones
You know, someone crazy. You're chaotic.
Amy
No, I think I know. My nervous system is like, no more. Because it took me a while even for my nervous system to regulate being in a healthy relationship. Sometimes I would try to stir up the chaos, and he wouldn't.
Bobby Bones
Just out of habit.
Amy
Yeah. Boredom.
Bobby Bones
I'm like, what on earth?
Female Co-host
I would hate that.
Amy
No, it's. When you're used to that, you. You don't. You see it as boredom, but it's actually not. And then once your nervous system regulates, you don't get bored anymore.
Bobby Bones
Good.
Amy
But I would. I'd poke.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Well, I've known that Amy hasn't been with her boyfriend. We just haven't talked about it because we're. I've been scrambled a bit, but it didn't make sense. That last segment we did right. Without knowing that she no longer had a boyfriend.
Female Co-host
And we didn't know, like, lunchbox. And I didn't know, but I knew because you're talking about basketball games. A referee came up to me and was like, hey, man, is Amy still with her boyfriend?
Amy
Wait, what?
Bobby Bones
And I was like, referee.
Female Co-host
This is during the halftime. He's like, dribbling the ball comes to me. He's like, is Amy still with her boyfriend? I'm like, I. I don't know, man. I think so. He's like, I haven't seen her around because I basket. I'd coach. I'd referee a lot of these games. I haven't seen around in a while. I'm like, whoa, that's crazy.
Amy
Oh, I thought you were gonna say that. He saw my ex boyfriend there with another girl.
Bobby Bones
I thought you were gonna say he wanted to get a little dose of Amy.
Female Co-host
No. I mean, he might. He might, but he was just like, I haven't seen Amy around in those games. Thumbs up.
Amy
But he's seen the. My ex boyfriend.
Female Co-host
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Female Co-host
He's always there, but. But that hurts my family's, like, a little bit.
Bobby Bones
Has he been happy?
Amy
Yeah. Like, did he.
Bobby Bones
Look,
We.
Amy
I think we both. We both were sad. I mean, it was.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah. It's a sad thing.
Amy
It's a sad thing. Like, he's awesome. I mean. And you never know what life may bring.
Female Co-host
You never know.
Bobby Bones
Jeremy Pippins Never know. Jeremy Pippen.
Lunchbox
Your DMS are open.
Bobby Bones
Amy's DMS are open. That's what they are. Open.
Lunchbox
Let's go.
Amy
Why did Eddie say he felt sad or what? It would.
Female Co-host
Oh, because I didn't. You wouldn't tell us?
Amy
I was waiting for.
Female Co-host
I know.
Amy
Like, I thought we would have this moment. And like I said in a weird
Bobby Bones
order, I shouldn't have gone to Jeremy Piven first. I should have said, oh, yeah, guys, Amy broke up with her boyfriend.
Female Co-host
You forgot. You all hadn't talked about that.
Bobby Bones
I forgot because we talk about stuff normally. I don't know what's on the air and what's not.
Amy
To clarify, let's say we broke up because it was pretty mutual, but.
Bobby Bones
Pretty mutual. It's not fully mutual.
Amy
Yeah, no, I mean, I think it was. You know, he was.
Bobby Bones
As an adult. It doesn't matter.
Amy
It doesn't really matter, but I didn't want it. What if he's. What if he hears this and he's like, oh, I heard you say you broke up. Which I get. I don't know. It went like.
Bobby Bones
Why are you talking yourself in circles? Because we should just break and then we're washed clean. We talked about it and move on. It's Kenny Chesney's birthday today, so. Happy birthday to Kenny. He shared the top five Kenny Chesney songs with me. Here you go.
Kenny Chesney
Number One Old Blue Chair. Number two would, as a songwriter slash artist would be. I go back. Number three would probably be There Goes My Life. Number four would probably be anything But Mine. And then, I don't know, there's, like, young Summertime.
Bobby Bones
Well, you said you and Tequila's top five.
Kenny Chesney
Tequila has to be five. But if I had to do another five, it would be young. It would be summertime. It would be saving for a rainy day.
Bobby Bones
It would be. I don't know.
Kenny Chesney
You know, the duet with Pink was a lot of fun.
Bobby Bones
So I guess I'm gonna. I guess I'm a Kenny casual, because I like Kenny Chesney. I like him as a person a lot. I know all those songs. But his number one song, I couldn't sing back to you all. Blue Chair.
Amy
Oh, I. I was. There was one he said at number four, I was like, what's that one?
Bobby Bones
You guys know Old Blue Chair? No. Are we just all. All super casuals?
Female Co-host
I think so. I know the blue chair has to do with his rum.
Bobby Bones
Oh, but that's it. No, his rum has to do with the chair.
Female Co-host
Well, that's right that way.
Bobby Bones
Okay, here is Kenny Chesney talking about what songs he's tired of playing live.
Kenny Chesney
You know, we still do Don't Happen Twice in the show, and I. For whatever reason, it still fits in our show. We do Tractor every now and then. Just, you know, there's a moment that I got really sick of Tractor. Like, I just thought, well, if I don't have to sing Tractor anymore, it's not going to hurt my feelings. But then Megan Maroney comes out on the road with us. She's out there for a couple weekends, and she goes, why are you not doing Tractor? I want to hear track. She was. Everybody out there wants to hear Tractor. I want to hear Tractor. I said, okay, well, you're going to come up and sing it with me. And she goes, deal. And then I did it. And she was right.
Bobby Bones
They go crazy.
Kenny Chesney
They were crazy.
Bobby Bones
It's just.
Kenny Chesney
It's like, okay, me, mentally, I'm past it, but it's. It will forever be there.
Bobby Bones
Sometimes you have to be reminded by the people.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Because you've done it so many times.
Amy
I feel like if I went to see him and he didn't play Tractor, I'd be a little.
Bobby Bones
You'd be confused. And. And, like, why didn't he play it? But to him, he's like, people have heard this forever. Why would I keep playing it? He would do a merch lottery. So all the Money. And you're talking about stadiums. All the money they make on merch. They do a lottery and draw and give to one of the crew members. No way. Yes. So he, he would do this merch lottery and talked about how much one member of his team could get if his number was drawn.
Kenny Chesney
I was going to pick one stadium show on the tour and whatever was made that night, we're going to do a merch lottery. So we put everybody's name on a piece of paper in that sombrero and we brought everybody together and I would go out there and shake it all around and pull out a name. And whoever's name I pulled got all the merch for the stadium that night.
Bobby Bones
All the money, all the money.
Kenny Chesney
All the merchandise.
Bobby Bones
What was it?
Kenny Chesney
Which could be life changing money. It's six figures.
Bobby Bones
So it's like three, four, hundred thousand dollars.
Female Co-host
Oh my God.
Bobby Bones
And then he started going, well, we'll split it up into a couple or few. And then he just started giving bonuses because it started to be a bit contentious. Like, you know, people are competing trying to win that. So here's something about Kenny Chesney as it's his birthday today. He grew up thinking his aunt was his sister because his mom and his grandma were pregnant at the same time. So think about this for youth clip. His mom and his grandma were pregnant at the exact same time.
Female Co-host
Weird.
Bobby Bones
Everybody with me?
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Okay, go.
Kenny Chesney
My mom and my real father divorced before I was one. And then my mom got married to my stepfather and then he went to Vietnam. So we lived with my mom's parents for three or four years. So that's where I first heard country music. My mom and my grandmother were pregnant at the same time. Having me and my aunt Missy.
Bobby Bones
No way.
Kenny Chesney
So they were in the hospital at the same time, almost having us. So I grew up with my aunt. Like if I thought, you know, I thought she was my sister, but not really. She was my mom's sister. Makes sense. This is really for people listening on Netflix, this is really easy to see stuff.
Bobby Bones
I didn't know that story about him.
Amy
That's crazy to have an aunt too.
Female Co-host
You're same age. That's pretty crazy.
Bobby Bones
He talked about going out in public and if he can avoid being recognized when he goes out.
Kenny Chesney
Yeah, I mean, I go to normal places. I mean, I can walk between the raindrops pretty well. No way.
Bobby Bones
Grocery store kinda.
Kenny Chesney
Well, it's been a minute since I've been to a grocery store, but I go early. But I mean, I've been. I'VE been at gas stations or whatever, or, you know, I would be at a. At a restaurant, you know, whatever it is. And I remember this guy recently. He's, you know, him and his wife were staring at me. I got radar pretty good, you know, And I could just tell. He finally comes up to me and he goes, you're him, Maria. I said, well, it depends on who you're talking about, you know?
Bobby Bones
Kenny Chesney, 58 today. Wake up. Wake up in the morning. Trying to put you through.
Amy
M Riding his wigs.
Bobby Bones
Next bit. And Bobby's on the mic, so you know it. This is. This is the Bobby. 90 seconds on the clock. Amy will give us as many morning cornies as she can give us. Let's see how many we can get. Right? You guys good?
Amy
Yep.
Female Co-host
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
All right, here we go.
Sponsor/Ad Voice

Bobby Bones
Batter. The batter.

Bobby Bones
Lure you in. What? With the wake boat. What's the best way to watch a fishing show? Real. All right.
Female Co-host
Remote.
Bobby Bones
On a real remote control.
Amy
I mean, a tv.
Bobby Bones
That's it. Again.
Amy

Female Co-host

Bobby Bones
On the boat. On that. Wait.
Female Co-host
Rocking your rocking chair. Your fish.
Bobby Bones

Female Co-host
Fishing pole.
Bobby Bones
Glasses. Yeah, I. The eye. The eye of the hook. Fish.
Female Co-host
Eye glasses.
Amy
What? No.
Bobby Bones
Well, you gotta put the line when you. You have to put through the eye.
Amy
That's the best way to watch it.
Bobby Bones
Feel your eyes.
Amy
Yeah. No, no, no. To watch a fishing show.
Female Co-host
I got nothing, man. Where?
Kenny Chesney
The bar.
Bobby Bones
No, we don't.
Amy
No, I didn't say where. I just said I made a noise.
Female Co-host

Doesn't matter.
Amy
Stream it. I mean, real.
Bobby Bones
I think we should get that one. And I don't fight for them.
Amy
I know I. I actually agree, and I'm not looking to just give y'
Female Co-host

Bobby Bones
It's fair enough. We only got one. Okay.
Female Co-host
Like, I don't think we can take.
Amy
But Bobby got. You got batter like
Female Co-host
the one we got. So Bobby, you got that one quick.
Bobby Bones
We only got one. That's, that's pretty terrible.
Amy
I thought for sure how quickly you got that one. I was like great. I better have like 10 ready because y' all are on fire today.

They still haven't found Savannah Guthrie's mom. They still haven't found the person who, for whatever reason, abducted Savannah Guthrie's mom. Like, I feel like we're in the same exact spot. We're seven, eight weeks later. And I was watching a clip of Savannah Guthrie talk to Hoda about this. Have you seen this? It's kind of heartbreaking.
Amy
Yeah, I mean, I. I saw clips of it, but I chose not to watch because I thought it would be so sad.
Bobby Bones
Well, now I don't want to play it. All right, well, go to break. Here's a clip we are in.
Amy
It is unbearable. And to think of what she went through. I wake up every night in the
Bobby Bones
middle of the night.
Amy
I imagine her terror and it is unthinkable. But those thoughts demand to be thought. And I will not hide my face that she needs to come Home now.
Kenny Chesney
Yes.
Bobby Bones
You know, yesterday we were talking about not a breakthrough in the story, but just more information. Is weeks prior, there was some suspicious activity happening near the house, but that's all we have. But what's the deal? Lunchbox on, like, first 48. Obviously it's 48 hours. Yeah.
Lunchbox
If you do not get a suspect within the first 48 hours of a murder, the likelihood you're gonna solve it is cut in half.
Bobby Bones
The fact they still don't have her after seven or eight weeks, there's a reason that they have shifted their story to. Hey, we'll give you whatever. To. We just want her back. She's 84. So that's the update there.
Amy
Yeah. I mean, it's just. It's heartbreaking. Yeah. If it was my mom, I would just want answers. Okay. I've already accepted. She's probably gone. Just. I want to know what happened to her and where she is.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I would just want her.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Her remains.
Amy
Mermaid.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's it. Like, just. However, just let us have it. So. Because that was not the most fun story to talk about. I do have a couple fun stories to talk about.
Amy
Perfect.
Bobby Bones
A circus performer pulled a 2,184 pound carriage with his nipples.
Amy
Wait. Yes.
Female Co-host
What on earth?
Amy
How does he do that?
Bobby Bones
The Baron is his name. He used his body piercings to break the Guinness world record for the heaviest vehicle pulled by the nipples. £2,184. The Baron had his partner sit in the carriage to bring the weight up to match the world record. And he used the piercings on his nipples and then walked and pulled it.
Amy
I just don't know how. It doesn't, like, rip through.
Female Co-host
Yeah, rip right off.
Bobby Bones
Strong nipples. I mean, look, look, watch. Look.
That's a video.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
He kind of looks like Zach Brown.
Amy
Oh, my God.
Bobby Bones
It looks like Zach Brown. Oh, look at that.
Female Co-host
Pulling nipple happening.
Bobby Bones
Hey, there's another one that we talked about. This guy pulled a car with his testicles.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
What he did, he. He put a band around them. Look at this, Amy, watch. He walked backward and pulled a car in neutral with his testicle.
Amy
Okay, who's gonna drive?
Sponsor/Ad Voice
Who's gonna try it?
Bobby Bones
Are we gonna beat him?
Amy
Put names on the wheel.
Bobby Bones
I just feel like we need to match that. Savannah Guthrie.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Sad. It was like totally ridiculous.
Amy
I can appreciate that.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Thank you.
Amy
Thank you.
Kenny Chesney
Thank you.
Bobby Bones
You're welcome.
Kenny Chesney
Lobby bone show.
Bobby Bones
Bonehead story of the day.
Lunchbox
This story comes to us from Chesterfield, South Carolina. A 33 year old man was arrested for Trespassing, spends the night in jail. And he goes in front of a judge and he says, hey, man, it's gonna be $250 bond. He goes in his pocket, gets a wad of cash.
Bobby Bones
Whack, whack, whack.
Lunchbox
Pulls off $300 bills, goes, here you go, judge. Keep the change, judge. Like, that's weird. Looks at it, flips it over. It's fake money.
Bobby Bones
Oh, dang.
Amy
Interesting.
Bobby Bones
I'm surprised that you could just pay the judge in cash anyway at the bench. Okay. That's my first surprise. My other surprise is he's got money in his pocket. Hasn't he been in jail all night? Yeah, yeah.
Lunchbox
They give him his possessions back when he went in front of the judge.
Bobby Bones
Okay, got it. Huh. I thought he said, like, keep the change, mother, or something like that. I didn't know it was going to go to fake money. So then what? Does he get a different charge?
Lunchbox
Yeah, he gets arrested for forgery.
Female Co-host
Counterfeit money.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. That charges forgery. I thought.
Lunchbox
Yeah, it's a felony and contempt of court and that.
Bobby Bones
I see. Keep change. All right. There you go.
Lunchbox
I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead. Story of the day, Bones.
Amy
Hi, my name is Amanda. I am currently driving from Chattanooga, Tennessee,
Bobby Bones
to Anchorage, Alaska, and I just want
Amy
to say thanks for giving a great show. I've got about two weeks saved up.
Bobby Bones
Yep. Just driving 12 hours a day. Anyways, thanks for everything. That's a crazy drive. Wow.
Amy
I don't even know how long that would take.
Bobby Bones
It's a easy Google.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Female Co-host
It'll give you the hours.
Amy
Search it up.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Miles. All of it.
Amy
Time. Okay, so with stops. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
All the BUC EE's along.
Amy
You know, I made a long journey once.
Bobby Bones
A journey?
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Oregon Trail. Go ahead.
Amy
Austin to New York City.
Bobby Bones
That's a long drive.
Female Co-host
That's a haul.
Bethenny Frankel
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Why did you do that?
Amy
In college, one of my good friends that I grew up with, his name is Craig, and he was going to college in Queens, and his mom did not. He was taking his car, and his mom was like, I really don't want him going alone. And we had, like, a brother, sister type relationship.
Bobby Bones
I was like, you don't have to say that.
Amy
But we did.
Bobby Bones
It didn't matter.
Amy
Okay, well, I'm just saying, she.
Bobby Bones
You want us to think you didn't hook up with him? We're good. We didn't even think about him.
Female Co-host
My mind didn't go there.
Bobby Bones
No, but now that you're saying that.
Amy
Well, I was Even saying that now
Bobby Bones
that she brings that into play, we never hooked up. I don't know. Go ahead.
Amy
No. So I. I journeyed with him from Austin to New York, and it was a long drive. Like, it took us days.
Bobby Bones
The journey from Chattanooga to Anchorage, Alaska. 68 hours and 32 minutes. Gosh.
Amy
Is two weeks worth of podcasts enough?
Bobby Bones
I wouldn't listen to us for two weeks. That's a lot. I'd be so over me.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I can't. I can barely take me for the amount of time we do the show. Yeah. Switch it up, because we want you to still like us after the drive is over.
Amy
Yeah. Maybe some music or maybe silence.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Play some other podcasts. But I really appreciate that. I don't know if you'll ever even hear this because you saved up. I don't know if you'll get to today's podcast if you do. We really appreciate you doing that. And What a drive. 4,181 miles. Wow. 68 hours, 32 minutes via the Alaska Highway. This route crosses through Canada.
Amy
Wow.
Bobby Bones
It basically goes straight up.
Amy
So. But do you have to be like, hey, excuse me, I'm from America. Going to America.
Bobby Bones
That's a great question.
Amy
Can I just come through? Like, do you have to have a passport?
Bobby Bones
I would assume. Yeah, so.
Amy
Well, yeah, but that's. That's.
Bobby Bones
I know. I hear you. That's a great question. But I would assume, yes, because you could just get off the road and live in Canada.
Female Co-host
Yep. Not go all the way through like you said. Like you're saying.
Amy
I get it.
Female Co-host
So what state does it go through? Like, what state goes to Canada?
Bobby Bones
So this, what they call the Alaskan highway, is not literally that until maybe later on. But it goes Chattanooga up. It crosses over the very left part of Kentucky. It goes through St. Louis, up through Illinois, up through Wisconsin, and then starts to take a left into Minnesota. So it goes through Minneapolis. Okay. You go, like, left angle up through North Dakota, and then you cross into Canada right at where North Dakota and Montana meet. Whoa. So Saskatchewan is where you enter into Canada. Then you go to Edmonton, and this is all going west and through British Columbia, which is far left, and then you're up into the upper. Like, the Yukon Territory.
Amy
Or Yukon, Canada for a while.
Female Co-host
Yeah.
Amy
Canada's.
Female Co-host
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And then you get to Alaska, and then once you get to. I don't know, Alaska's so big, though, so it's still probably a pretty good drive once you get in there.
Female Co-host
That is crazy.
Bobby Bones
So then you're up above Anchorage. And you got to drive back down into Anchorage. What a drive.
Amy
That's why I called it a journey.
Bobby Bones
I'd only do that. Let me do Amy's.
Amy
Oh, yeah. Do Austin to Queensland, New York.
Bobby Bones
They ain't getting specific now.
Amy
Well, because that's where we rolled into. And then, I mean, his. His apartment was in Queens.
Bobby Bones
26 hours. Still pretty good.
Female Co-host
That's a journey.
Bobby Bones
1763 miles. And, I mean, we were definitely two and a half days, 20 years old. Yeah, I drove once. Me and a buddy, we didn't have any money, but want to go to a Cubs game. So we drove from Arkadelphia, Arkansas, to Chicago, watched the game, and drove right back.
Amy
Same, same, no spin the night?
Bobby Bones
Well, we got there kind of early, like, because we didn't want to, like, risk not getting there in time. So we got to, like, three hours early. So we slept at a rest stop like, 45 minutes outside of Chicago. So, yeah, no, we didn't stay in a hotel or anything.
Female Co-host
Did you both sleep or did somebody stay up?
Bobby Bones
Well, we were in a rest stop. Dude, we're fine.
Amy
Were y', all, like. Were y', all, like, brothers?
Bobby Bones
No, we hooked up. Amy. See, that drive was 11 hours up, so we did basically 22 hours in the day.
Female Co-host
Wow. It's another journey.
Amy
That is crazy.
Bobby Bones
It was crazy. But again, we were 20.
Amy
Well, yeah, but I. For me, it was difficult getting to New York.
Bobby Bones
It was me and Chris, my buddy, and we were both Cubs fans. We're like, we gotta go. So we drove it up. I don't know if we expected, like, stop halfway back on the way at, like, some really cheap hotel, but you get so close, you're like, let's just keep going. But we did it down and back. It was pretty awesome. I was so exhausted at that game. I didn't really get to enjoy it because I was so tired.
Female Co-host
Isn't that crazy that driving makes you so tired, even though you're just sitting
Bobby Bones
there, even if you're riding passengers?
Female Co-host
It's exhausting.
Bobby Bones
I was tired, and we switched off. That was a fun one. Okay, give me that other voicemail, please. I have a question for Lunchbox.
Amy
You're pretty famous on the show, and you're probably famous, you know, all over America. So being as famous as you are, don't you find it crazy that none of your Bathroom Confessions. No one recognizes this part of the
Bobby Bones
show, the Bathroom Confessions. What are your thoughts?
Lunchbox
Oh, no. I mean, people are in an airport. They don't see me, so it's hard for them to be like, what? And they're caught off guard because there's flushing going on, there's hand washing. They're not thinking, oh, Lunchbox is going to be in this airport. And so, yeah, I am super famous, but when you don't see me and my voice is distorted because of toilet flushing and toots coming out like, what on earth?
Amy
What?
Lunchbox
I don't think it's a big deal. No, I know I'm super famous, and it will happen.
Bobby Bones
I think you have a very distinct voice, so if people know you, they're gonna know you. I just think we're not famous.
Amy
When we were in Atlanta a couple weeks ago and I met Corey Kemp for the first time, I'd never met him. And he was about to go on stage and his record rep came over and she was like, oh, have you met Corey yet? I'm like, no. And I went and I started talking to him, shook his hand. He goes, heard the voice before. He's like, I don't even really know that I knew your face, but I knew your voice right away because he listens to the show. So I feel like that's a perfect example of people know our voices. If they listen.
Bobby Bones
If they listen. But I'm telling you, in a world of completely fractured media, we're a pimple on the butt of a blue whale.
Amy
Well, yeah, but Lunchbox is so well known.
Female Co-host
Yeah, he's so famous, man. Top 25.
Amy
He's so well known, people would know his voice.
Lunchbox
Right? I mean, Garth Brooks could sit in a bathroom stall and talk to someone next to him, and they wouldn't know his Garth Brooks.
Female Co-host
That's true.
Bobby Bones
If he was sitting next to someone and he goes, sometimes late at night, they would know who it was, probably. But that's what you do. You talk.
Lunchbox
Right. But that's singing. If he just talked, they wouldn't know who he was.
Amy
Your voice is way more distinct than anybody else's. Anybody on the show.
Kenny Chesney
Wow.
Lunchbox
So I. Wow. Oh, I thought you're gonna say, then Garth Brooks.
Bobby Bones
I was like, I'm just saying your speaking voice is.
Amy
And it's one of your most. It's a segment you do. So put voice and segment together. Someone. No one has ever been like, is
Bobby Bones
this lunchbox or the puppy punch in the bathroom? Corey Kent is Caitlyn's side of the family. Family friend.
Amy
Oh, really? Okay. That makes sense, too, because I was like, well, that's cool. You listen to the show.
Female Co-host
That's why he listens.
Bobby Bones
No, I don't know Maybe I don't listen.
Amy
Who knows?
Bobby Bones
But he lives in Texas now. I don't know what the.
Amy
I don't know. He had no reason to say that. He just said, I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Artists always say nice stuff just because they're like.
Amy
He's like, cool, I better sing. I recognize your voice.
Bobby Bones
I like Corey. So I'm not saying this about him.
Amy
Yeah, he seems normal.
Female Co-host
He's so good.
Bobby Bones
He lives in Texas now, right? Doesn't he live in Texas? Yeah, I think in Frisco and so. But he's from Oklahoma and I think he was. I'm pretty sure he was at Grace and DJs wedding.
Amy
Oh, were you there?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Okay. Beautiful.
Bobby Bones
What are you talking? Grace? Grace is Caitlyn's sister.
Amy
I know.
Bobby Bones
DJs my brother in law. Yeah, I was there.
Amy
I forgot. Yeah, they got married at the.
Bobby Bones
They got married like a month before Caitlin.
Amy
I was trying to do the math and then I'm like, wait, you think he was there? Like, were you there?
Bobby Bones
I didn't know him. I didn't know him.
Amy
Oh, okay.
Female Co-host
It's hard to remember who's at every wedding.
Bobby Bones
It's hard to. Not even your own wedding. I don't know everybody's at my wedding. But I'm saying, to know everybody that was at Grace and DJs wedding, that's hard.
Amy
Good point.
Bobby Bones
All I know is he came over, did a Bobby cast, and I'm almost positive. Or maybe his wife's a photographer. She took pictures for Grace at the wedding.
Amy
I'm recalling you talking about a photographer. So just in general when you said that, I'm like, oh, I remember you telling a story from the wedding about a photographer.
Bobby Bones
Maybe his wife is a friend of Grace's. I think they were at the wedding, but took pictures of the wedding for Grace. I don't know. I mean, probably I was just bringing something up because.
Amy
No, I. My brain is picking up on this,
Bobby Bones
like a durag around his neck.
Female Co-host
Was he.
Amy
When y' all saw a bandana?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I didn't see that for a long time. That's what he did. I liked it. I thought that was. You guys know me. I love something consistent that you're known for. Like. Like I've worn. I've worn a freaking cardigan every day for two years.
Female Co-host
Yeah, I know, it's crazy. It's just normal now.
Bobby Bones
It's like that's why I started wearing big bold glasses. Like, I like something that doesn't create a stir, but is something memorable.
Amy
It's like Your signature look.
Bobby Bones
Okay, fair enough.
Amy
Do any of us have a signature?
Bobby Bones
No, because it takes. You have to commit to it.
Amy
We can commit.
Female Co-host
I mean, Lunchbox kind of has the homeless look like a hoodie. Consistently.
Bobby Bones
You know, you're not wrong. Anyway, I like Corey Kent. That's interesting. We're not famous. No, that's the answer to that voicemail, right? Yeah. All right.
Female Co-host
That would be why.
Bobby Bones
That'd be why. All right, thank you very much, everybody. If you want to leave us a voicemail, you can 87777, Bobby. All right, voicemails.
Amy
Morning, studio.
Bobby Bones
Amy is sidekick. And you guys missed it with the ducks. Ignore the pond part.
Amy
Duck. Arkansas is the duck hunting capital of the world.
Bobby Bones
So maybe Arkansas's going all the way. Woo.
Amy
Pig Sue.
Bobby Bones
Okay, in her vision, she saw ducks, but Stuttgart is not where the University of Arkansas is. They're not even that close.
Female Co-host
That's a stretch.
Bobby Bones
That'd be, like, going, well, Donald Duck was created.
Kenny Chesney
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I think the Iowa thing, when you saw Caitlin Clark in the stands and Iowa's still in it, that's. That's pretty massive.
Female Co-host
That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
That was crazy. All right, give me another one.
Amy
I want to know why you guys don't do Masterpiece Theater anymore. That was so awesome. Bobby and Ray would act down a scene, and then everybody had to guess what the scene was. That was good. Love the show.
Bobby Bones
Thank you. We can play it next week. I think we have played it in the last couple weeks, though, haven't we? Yeah, a few weeks maybe. Yeah, so we have. But we'll do it again next week at some point. If you love Masterpiece the Attack, we will play that for you. All right, give me one more.
Amy
Hey, Bobby, I wanted to call in and thank you for the advice about New Year's resolutions. You always say to start it early, start it in December versus waiting until January, and I did that.
