Transmitting across America. This is the Bobby. Let's go. Welcome to Thursday Show Morning Studio Morning. There's a new trend on the dating scene. The six seven trend.
Amy
What's that?
Bobby Bones
Well, it's not six' seven, but it's mostly finding somebody that's a six or seven. So they're not hot enough to leave you.
Amy
Oh, they're a 6 or 7 on the scale.
Eddie
That's funny.
Bobby Bones
The 67 trend is attractive, but not dangerously so. And so there's a song too. Want to be happy for the rest of your life? Never make a pretty woman your wife.
Amy
So from my personal point of view, pick an ugly girl to marry you.
Eddie
So funny.
Bobby Bones
That's wrong, though. But yeah, I thought that was funny. The 67 trend, she explains, this person is like, hey, it's not all about looks. I hear you.
Amy
Yeah, it's not.
Eddie
But.
Amy
But there has to be attraction.
Bobby Bones
Of course. Yeah.
Eddie
And that's looks.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's from Essence. How's it going with you back on the dating scene?
Eddie
Come on.
Amy
I mean, I'm not on it. I'm not, I'm not on it. I mean, my friends are sending me things from matchmaker.
Bobby Bones
Like they're going to matchmakers in your honor.
Amy
No. I guess there's reels. Matchmakers are now putting up reels.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
Like saying, you know, hey, matchmaker Sally here, and I've got a nice man, six two and Charleston looking for a woman ages 45 to 60. He's successful.
Bobby Bones
Why not just DM that person then?
Amy
What do you mean?
Bobby Bones
You have to pay the matchmaker?
Amy
No, I don't know how it works. My friends just have been sending me, you know how, like in Instagram you can just like send someone a real. You know, I send you stuff all the time.
Bobby Bones
Amy's getting really out of control on cinema. Really?
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
She'd be that person. I like it. Some of it's good, but some of it, she just gets fooled by AI too much.
Amy
Right, right, right, right. Well, this is not AI. These are legit real matchmakers. And they are turning to reels, I guess, to find matches for their suitors
Bobby Bones
and anybody you're interested in?
Amy
No. I mean, they sound good.
Bobby Bones
Has anybody asked you on a date here in town?
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
What's your. What's your age range? What's the low end?
Amy
I've not thought about it.
Bobby Bones
Well, let's think about it now. What's the low end of Your age range?
Amy
20, 40. Oh, I'm 45.
Bobby Bones
You wouldn't date a 38 year old.
Amy
I don't know. Listen, I had experience with someone in their 30s and that did not go well.
Bobby Bones
Boy, did you. Yeah, we'd see him driving her car. We'd be like, oh, boy.
Amy
You know, I don't know. I think I. I want someone definitely, you know, fine, they could be in their late 30s, but must be mature.
Bobby Bones
And what's the oldest?
Amy
Must have a job. 56.
Bobby Bones
So you're looking for like 38 to 56?
Amy
Sure. And it.
Eddie
What was your ex. How old was your ex?
Amy
55.
Eddie
Okay, so one year old?
Amy
No. Oh my gosh. I just aged him, I think. Did he just turn. Oh my gosh. He was 53. And maybe he turned 55 or maybe he's turning 55 this year. I was with him for a while, but yeah, yeah, he was 53. And I was definite when we first started dating and I definitely was like, wow, 50. And I had gone on a date before that with a guy that was actually 50 and couldn't believe I was doing that.
Bobby Bones
So any dudes DMing you?
Amy
What I've learned from this is like I'll. I'll get used to the age. Every age that I thought was too old. Gotten used to it. So I guess I don't really want to put a limit, but. Well, 70 is too high.
Bobby Bones
Any dudes in your DMs?
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
Would you get on a dating app?
Amy
Not that I've noticed.
Bobby Bones
Would you get on a dating app again?
Amy
Not at this time. I. I'm not saying no to that ever. But I don't know. These, these matchmakers are. They're good at their job. Cuz the reels my friends have sent, they're not looking for something.
Bobby Bones
Tell me about one of the guys they sent you.
Amy
Okay, let me pull up because I'm
Bobby Bones
sure they're the cream of the crop guys if they're putting them on. On social media.
Amy
Yeah, well, we might have audio. Maybe we just play it.
Bobby Bones
Oh, you have audio? Hit it.
Matchmaker
Yeah, I have a client and we are looking for the love of his life. He's a CEO of a national company. He's extremely successful. Six foot one and he is a silver fox. He was born and raised in dfw. He has multiple homes. One in Kerrville and another one in New York. And he enjoys traveling to and from those homes. He is very much of a man's man. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty.
Amy
But.
Matchmaker
But he also has a little bit of a creative, artsy side. So he enjoys the theater, the symphony, the opera. He's looking to meet someone between the ages of 45 to 60. Someone who truly wants a companionship and partnership. Someone who is bright, intellectual, open minded and someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously.
Amy
That's why my friend sent it to me.
Bobby Bones
Because I. I'll date him. Screw it, I'm in.
Amy
Wait, it gets better. There's another guy. Hit it, Ray.
Matchmaker
Okay, I have a client and we are looking for the love of his life. He's 6 foot 2, he's a physician, full head of salt and pepper hair and light blue eyes. He has a wicked sense of humor, highly intellectual, very handsome, polished, professional. But he's someone that definitely doesn't take himself too seriously. And I find myself laughing every time that I talk to him. He's looking to meet someone 45 to 60, someone who's open minded, who can have a conversation about a wide range of things. Someone who lives a healthy, active lifestyle, who's emotionally intelligent and kind.
Bobby Bones
That's like the greatest hits of somebody I know.
Amy
So my friends sent me both of those and when I'm watching them, I'm like, I'm 45, he sounds awesome. But they're not. They're where they're looking for them in certain parts of the country. Like the matchmaker looks like she'll work all over, but she'll be like, I have a client in New York or I have a client in Dallas or South Carolina. And I'm like, okay, well, I'm. I'm in Nashville, so.
Eddie
And is there a picture of the guy as she's talking?
Amy
No. No. I don't know. I mean, do you have to dm. Oh, I saw this one.
Bobby Bones
That's how they get you for the money. Well, yeah, yeah.
Amy
Oh, you mean I have to pay? No, the guy's paying. I would have to pay. The guy has paid her, so I. I don't have to pay.
Bobby Bones
If somebody pays me, I'll do a thing on them. My mind.
Amy
Okay, yes, you can do me.
Bobby Bones
Weird thing to say.
Amy
Maybe you could say, I know this girl. She's 40. What would you say about me?
Bobby Bones
She's 45.
Amy
She's so funny.
Bobby Bones
Hey, everybod. Boy, do I got the person for you. She is very random, but it's funny. She has adhd and at times it affects her more than others. And I hold up a sheet of all her doodles she's done during an entire show that is just a complete blacked out sheet of paper. I say something positive. She has a nice car. And she something positive. Two houses.
Amy
Oh, yeah. Okay. I have. She's successful.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah. She's got a nice car, she's successful,
Amy
and she's 5 6.
Eddie
She has gold.
Bobby Bones
She has gold. She does have gold. That's right.
Amy
What about something nice about my personality?
Eddie
You're funny.
Bobby Bones
I did say.
Amy
No, he said she's random.
Bobby Bones
You're random. That's funny.
Eddie
Yeah, it's good.
Amy
Am I kind?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you're nice.
Amy
Kind and nice. Are different.
Bobby Bones
But you. I just.
Eddie
Amy, he's writing it.
Amy
Okay, you got it. Keep going.
Eddie
But I like this better than the ones that she played because, like, this is more of a normal person, not like the greatest hits like you said.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And she is struggling with perimenopause. I don't know what that is, but I put that in there. Yeah. She doesn't watch. She watches a lot of shows, but really doesn't watch any show at the same time. Meaning she turns shows on that we like and then just gets distracted and just leaves it on and gives it bad reviews.
Amy
I'm on testosterone.
Eddie
She's spoiled.
Bobby Bones
She's on testosterone. So she shaves her mustache every day.
Amy
I do shave my face, but not for that reason. Okay, well, I don't really like this,
Bobby Bones
but seriously, she's great. Hit me up for more details. That's what I would say.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
But then they would know what was you and just DM you. Yeah, probably N. Good luck with that. When do you think you'll start dating?
Amy
I have no idea. It's honestly not on my like to do lists right now. I'm feeling very comfortable with where I am in the moment. No rush on anything. Feel good.
Bobby Bones
Also, all those. The profiles, sounds like they're just like, flexing how much money people have.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Two houses. It's physician. He walks around with no less than 1300 in cash in each pocket.
Eddie
But then they level it out with. He doesn't take himself too seriously.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And also, it's like, he's wickedly funny. He makes me laugh so much, so I hooked up with him. Box Anonymous in box. There's a question to be had. Hello, Bobby Bones. My fiance and I love Halloween so much. We are getting married this year on Saturday, October 31st. We want to make it a full Halloween monster themed wedding. The decision, however, has been met with some backlash from some of the members of our families. Some of our families have gone as far as to say, we are celebrating Satan.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
On our wedding. Isn't it crazy? People still think that. Yeah, as fun as that sounds, we're more interested in having some laughs and just having a great party. And we love Halloween. Is there any convincing these people that our hearts are really with Halloween? Should we bother or should we not? Getting married on Halloween. There you go. First of all, my general idea when it comes to a wedding is at your wedding, you do what you want to do on your wedding. That's it. That can be changed. If you're like, we want to sacrifice animals like that. Don't do that. But generally speaking, it does not matter, because a wedding is a party. It is celebrating you and your future husband or wife and the love. And when you have a party, you get to pick the theme of the party. And a lot of people pick the traditional wedding theme, which is everybody gets together, she wears white, he wears a suit. But if you want to have. You want to dress like Legos or Halloween or Lord of the Rings or that's all you and these family members that say it's celebrating Satan, I fully, wholly don't believe that's the case anyway. And secondly, it's your party. I would almost say, if you wanted to celebrate Satan at your wedding, I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't do that. I wouldn't because. No, but I'm saying it's your party. You get to pick the theme. You pick the theme. So they can kick rocks. Now, you don't want them to kick rocks because they are important to you. But a couple of outspoken outliers in your family should not make you change what you want for your wedding. That is what I have to say. Amy?
Amy
Yeah, I think that. I think the question was like, can you convince them otherwise? Maybe not about the holiday overall.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
But can you convince them to maybe set it aside for this one day that means a lot to you potentially? If not, then that's on them, and you have to just release that, detach from that whole situation with love and know that something deeply with them, deeply within them, has an issue with this particular day and respect that side of them. And I don't think you have to kick them out of your life or anything, but just know that they couldn't set aside something for your wedding day.
Bobby Bones
You want to do a quick history of Halloween just so you can also teach them this. I don't know if they'll listen to you. So Halloween goes back to an ancient Celtic festival called Samhain, which is over 2000 years ago. People believed on that night that the boundary between the living and the dead was thinner on that night. So they wore costumes to scare away or disguise themselves from the dead, because the dead could get through the thin veil much easier on that night. It was not about worshiping anything. It really had nothing to do with religion. So as far as Christian influence goes, later, the church created all saints day, November 1st, and all hallows Eve, which is where Halloween comes from. The night before, which is October 31st, All Hallows Eve is Halloween. So that was actually created by the Christian church And not as a way to go. What was happening before was the devil. But it's like, just in case mean people, spirits are coming back, we're gonna cover this up. So there are so many things, too, that in our life were created for one reason hundreds of years ago that now we celebrate differently because of that. Just because there are ghosts and witches and skeletons and you're uncomfortable with the symbolism does not mean it really is a darker theme. I mean, skeletons go to the radiologist.
Eddie
X rays.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So Halloween started as a mix of, like, ancient seasonal traditions and Christian observances. And today it's just fun. There's no Satan. No Satan. So that's what's up. You don't have to hit him with that because I'm probably not going to listen. But that's the history of Halloween. Equal Christian. And then back in the day, thousands of years ago, people believed all kind of crazy crap.
Amy
Well, and some people even still to this day, if they are worshipers of the darker side, evil things, devil worshipers and whatnot, they might do particular things on that day, but that's on them. That's that. That's that. That's not the world you're in. Like, you. Like on a Wednesday.
Bobby Bones
You know, we don't cancel Wednesdays.
Amy
Exactly. So, like, I think there are darker sides that come out in people on that particular day. But that's not your world. That's not your environment.
Bobby Bones
But 99% is just. 99.999 is people just having fun on Halloween.
Amy
Yeah, I agree.
Bobby Bones
And it wasn't rooted in what I think your misinformed family members think it was rooted in. So we're with you. And there's a bit of a history lesson. That's the mailbag. Close it up. This woman went into labor and gave birth during a hockey game. NHL game. Edmonton Oilers. Man, if you're that pregnant. Oh, no, I wouldn't go anywhere. I want to get in the car. After about six months, I'm out.
Amy
Oh, is he. Doesn't this happens all the time with athletes?
Bobby Bones
I was in the middle of a game.
Eddie
Was it a fan?
Bobby Bones
He has a fan.
Amy
Oh, I thought. Sorry.
Eddie
Like, the athlete didn't have a baby.
Bobby Bones
Can you imagine? Well, one. It's also a dude.
Amy
I thought it was his wife.
Bobby Bones
No, it's a fan at the game.
Amy
Sorry.
Bobby Bones
For one couple, the action off the ice was far more exciting than what happened on the ice. As the Edmonton Oilers played the Vegas Golden Knights. As the Oilers stank up their home arena. I didn't write this, by the way, In a five to one loss, a woman went into labor and gave birth inside the arena, the home of the Oilers, as the game was being played. All I know, after about eight and a half months, we really go anywhere and then we're doing lots of curb walking and all the stuff to hopefully have the baby.
Amy
Yeah, I mean, some people just keep living their life.
Bobby Bones
Good for them.
Amy
And all the things.
Bobby Bones
I was just so scared that this would happen. But if you're the. Imagine you're just in a plate that's not clean, that's not. That's unsanitary.
Eddie
And are they ready? Are they ready for like, they have medical people ready to deliver babies?
Amy
I mean, I'm sure they're ready, but yeah, not planning on delivering a baby that night.
Bobby Bones
And they lost. They stank up the place. So that was one Yahoo Sports. I'm not shaming. Anyway, she could have been eight months pregnant. Seven months. I just know we were so scared that once we hit nine. And I'd also like to say this as a pregnant woman myself, which because I was. It's not nine months, it's 10 months.
Eddie
So why do they say nine?
Bobby Bones
I don't know where that started.
Amy
Was it in the 9th? A month? Like in the 9th month? Because isn't it more like about the weeks?
Bobby Bones
All I know is that most people, their due date is 10 months away. Whenever they give you that due date, it is not nine months. And I don't know how that started, where it was nine months. But also, what's wrong with the number 10? It's even cleaner.
Eddie
Yeah, it's an even number, right?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but it's a solid.
Amy
Maybe it helps women. It's like less daunting.
Bobby Bones
Well, then say eight. Who cares? Who gives a crap? Hey, you can have a baby in a month. Why not? We're gonna lie. Let's just lie. The other one. A passenger gives birth aboard a flight to New York.
Amy
Oh, yeah. This one was from the Caribbean or something.
Bobby Bones
Or Jamaica Caribbean Airlines is a passenger on Flight 005 went into labor and at least it was upon final approach.
Eddie
Okay, good. They were almost home.
Bobby Bones
If it's going up, they're turning it back around. And then everybody's annoyed because the woman in 10 months in just got on a plane.
Amy
Or she went into labor early.
Bobby Bones
Could have been that too. For sure. So delivered baby moments before the flight landed. Man, that's crazy. Having been there in it firsthand and someone's had. That's happening. And it's not even your woman.
Lunchbox
You're.
Bobby Bones
That's crazy.
Eddie
Would you jump in to help?
Bobby Bones
No.
Eddie
If you're on the flight.
Bobby Bones
No.
Amy
Well, I mean, I don't want to
Bobby Bones
get in the way. Because I don't want to get in the way.
Eddie
But if they said, I need somebody to go grab the baby.
Bobby Bones
If they said, is there a fake doctor here? Is there anybody with an honorary doctorate from the University of Arkansas? Of course I would step in and they would say, what's your honorary doctorate in? And I would say, letters. And they would go, ooh, can you spell baby? I can. All right, get into action. Yeah. I think if it were an emergency situation, I'd have no problem with that. I could hop in. All the stuff's happening. I'd be fine. But am I gonna choose it? Nah, I didn't look when my wife had the baby, I stayed up in her head. But if they were like, hey, this is an emergency. Can you. Absolutely. No problem at all. So the air traffic controller was on with them. And the airline's policy allows passengers to fly without medical clearance through 32 weeks of pregnancy, but bars travel after 35 weeks. But again, they don't check that. There's not a card you have to show them. They don't say how far along the pass. The good news is both these babies were healthy.
Eddie
Good.
Bobby Bones
So medical personnel were on hand to meet the plane.
Lunchbox
But.
Bobby Bones
Okay, I want to say this again. I just haven't been in it. It's like a. I don't know, 70 pound water balloon was ex. Was that happened right there?
Eddie
Really?
Bobby Bones
No, I'm. If she. No, I'm just saying.
Eddie
But you saw it.
Bobby Bones
There's a reason they pull out all the trash bags and plastic whenever.
Amy
Because so much is coming out.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Oh, man.
Bobby Bones
Everybody having to walk through that. If she was like, in the front. Yeah.
Eddie
And then that plane's probably out of commission for.
Bobby Bones
All right. Yeah. Clean that thing up. That is out. But people do have to travel. No shame from me at all. But that's crazy. Two birth stories. I didn't cut the. I told you I didn't cut the cord. Right.
Amy
I don't know that you've talked about that. I don't recall.
Eddie
We asked.
Amy
Oh, we did.
Eddie
Said no.
Amy
Can't remember everything, you know what.
Eddie
Did you eat that?
Bobby Bones
I still am. We have it every Thursday.
Eddie
Cook it.
Bobby Bones
I didn't cut the cord because I asked the doctor, I said, is there any benefit long term to me cutting the cord? Like, will it benefit the baby in any way whatsoever? And she said, no, it will not. There's literally nothing about cutting the cord that benefits anybody at all. And then I said, why would I want to take scissors and go through human flesh then for anybody, even my own kid? I have no interest in taking anything sharp and taking and cutting human flesh, even my own child. And so they were like, that's a weird thing to say, but we got it.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah. I don't know. I think it'd be cool.
Bobby Bones
And I'm sure to some people it would be. I did not find it cool at all. I didn't.
Amy
Yeah, I know. I get that.
Bobby Bones
I don't want to. I don't want to cut flesh.
Amy
Zero desires.
Bobby Bones
Why would you think it would be cool?
Amy
I don't know. Because you. It's just a part of being. You were a part of the process of your daughter being bored. But I don't know, just like a next step of like, this is something that needs to be done. So I'm gonna do it. How did they do it before scissors existed?
Bobby Bones
Well, I was gonna. They asked me, do you bite through it? Yeah.
Amy
And I oh, nice knife.
Bobby Bones
You don't want to cut it. But do you want to bite? Because you like to bite me. You like steaks. Would you want to bite your way through? Okay.
Amy
Teeth, then a knife.
Bobby Bones
They probably cut through it with a knife.
Eddie
And then before that maybe a rock.
Bobby Bones
Arrowhead.
Amy
No, I'm thinking before that was teeth. Don't you think teeth were the first?
Eddie
At some point they had to bite it.
Bobby Bones
Maybe they would hand it to the mom and the mom. That's how the mom freed it was.
Amy
Yeah. Maybe that's why the cord is. How long is it? Could it come? But you need to get it.
Bobby Bones
Amy did a thing where she pulled something from her belly to her mouth and ready to eat it.
Amy
We're trying to see like how long is the cord, but then you need to clip it and it has to be done. Well, like, I remember at the orphanage where my kids lived, all the kids had very different looking belly buttons. And it really was dependent upon the type of care they had when they were born because some of them were audis, but not even that. Just really protruding. And it just means they didn't have the proper medical attention to the umbilical cord. Umbilical cord.
Bobby Bones
You know what was wild is that, you know, you cut it and then our baby had still a piece of it and then it falls off. Yeah, just randomly and like you celebrate anything with a newborn. Like, she did it. Her cut Cord fell off her crusty cord that I did eat.
Amy
That'd be crazy though, if, like it fell off and then one of your dogs was like, oh, you know what I was thinking?
Eddie
I don't think you could have cut the cord unless they had left handed scissors.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Stupid. I can cut with right handed scissors. You can?
Amy
You?
Bobby Bones
Yes, I can. It's like when there's anything that's any color and it's like, I don't even see that color.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Eddie
Which one? The red one or the blue?
Bobby Bones
I've had to cut, it's Being left handed is a tragedy. I do not wish it upon anyone, but I've had to cut with right handed scissors my whole life. Okay. Because they don't make enough left handed scissors to be able to make left handed. Like, darn it is it.
Eddie
Does it cut right? Like, is the cut solid? Because if I try to use my left hand to cut, like, it's all over the place.
Bobby Bones
You don't have to. I would use my left hand to cut, but right handed scissors. It's fine.
Eddie
I get it.
Bobby Bones
I get it. Yeah. Thank you, though. Anyway, congratulations to those moms having babies at hockey games and airplanes. On a flight there, Bones. Lunchbox
It feels good to get good news.
Bobby Bones
It feels good to Gecko. What's the game, Ray? So I'm gonna give you three movies. You tell me the one actor who's in all three of them. Movies are my weakness. I'll play. Amy's gonna play. Eddie's gonna play. All right, go ahead. Give us an example. The Mask. Ace Ventura. Dumb and Dumber. That's an easy one. Yeah. Okay. All right, let's do seven of these. Hit us. The Notebook, Project, Hail mary, blade runner, 2049.
Eddie
I'm in.
Amy
I'm in.
Bobby Bones
Good. Starter one here. One, two, three.
Amy
Gosling.
Lunchbox
Good.
Bobby Bones
Malcolm X, the Equalizer. Training Day.
Eddie
Okay, I'm in.
Amy
Well, this is just gonna feel wrong if it's not right.
Bobby Bones
I mean, if you're Adam Sandler, it's very wrong.
Amy
I know. The problem is, what do you have? Denzel Washing.
Bobby Bones
That's right.
Amy
Is it?
Eddie
You got it.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Training Day is so good.
Eddie
Is that with Ethan Hawke?
Bobby Bones
I don't know. I just remember watching so Good. I remember he was like, I got a gun. And I was like, that's awesome. Is that right?
Eddie
Yeah. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
All right, next. Mad Max signs. What Women Want.
Eddie
Wait, what?
Bobby Bones
I'm in Mad Max signs. What Women Want. I have only ever seen one of these.
Amy
What Women Want.
Bobby Bones
That's the only one I've seen. You have
Amy
what Women Want signs?
Bobby Bones
I never saw signs because it was spoiled for me. But I think I would have liked that because that's a Shyamalan movie, right?
Amy
Yes. Yeah, I saw it. But I was in college.
Bobby Bones
I like those. M. Night Shyamalan's two. Those are good signs.
Amy
Mad Max. What women.
Bobby Bones
This is my weakest category. I'm feeling pretty good.
Amy
What Women Want.
Bobby Bones
I'm three for three.
Amy
What women Want.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Five seconds.
Amy
Okay, whatever.
Eddie
Yeah, I got it wrong.
Bobby Bones
Amy. Meryl Streep, Eddie.
Eddie
Mel Gibson.
Bobby Bones
That's exactly it. Because what Women Want. He could hear what they're thinking.
Amy
Is it Mel Gibson?
Bobby Bones
Really? And he's in the original Mad Max. Yeah, but I was thinking Mad Max is in. Charlize. They're on at first.
Eddie
That's what I was thinking too.
Bobby Bones
She wasn't inside.
Eddie
That's the newer one.
Bobby Bones
Right. And what Women Want was actually good because he could hear their thoughts.
Eddie
Cool.
Bobby Bones
That was a good one. You know what else is good is look who's talking.
Eddie
With, like, John Travolta, the babies. That was awesome.
Bobby Bones
That movie was awesome. Back in the day. All right, next up, Leave the World Behind. Notting Hill, Runaway Bride. I'm in. I don't even know what that first movie is, but I'm in. Wait, maybe I'm not. Will you say it again? Leave the World Behind. Notting Hill, Runaway Bride.
Eddie
I'm.
Bobby Bones
I'm still in, but I have less confidence. You have a woman or a man?
Amy
Are you in?
Bobby Bones
I'm in. Yeah, I know. I have a woman.
Amy
Oh, yeah. I have a woman.
Bobby Bones
But I struggled.
Amy
I don't know.
Eddie
The first, I thought it was the man, too, but I went with him.
Bobby Bones
I was gonna go Hugh Grant.
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
But I didn't pick Hugh Grant. I went with Julia Roberts.
Eddie
Julia Roberts.
Bobby Bones
Is that right? Yep. We all just assumed we're right because we matched. How many more are there? Let's Leave the World Behind. You've seen it. End of the World. Very controversial ending. Netflix. Yes. I loved that movie.
Eddie
I remember that.
Amy
You loved it so much you remember it?
Bobby Bones
I remember titles. It's like books I read now because I don't have the actual hard book. It's just on an iPad. I don't know the titles of the books I read anymore because I just read the book and don't see it every time I pick it up. All right, next. Raising Arizona. Gone in 60 seconds. Face off. I'm in.
Eddie
I'm in.
Bobby Bones
What score? You and Eddie have four, Amy has three.
Eddie
Still writing, huh?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's a very long name.
Amy
Well, I've got two people in my mind, but okay, I'm in.
Bobby Bones
Did you write them both down and circle the right one?
Amy
No, I wrote down gone in 60 seconds to see if writing it down would help me.
Bobby Bones
I think you'll get it. What is it?
Amy
Nicholas Cage.
Bobby Bones
That's it. That's what I have.
Eddie
Yeah. Nicholas Cage.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Correct. How many more? Two more. Okay, go. 27 dresses, Sonic the Hedgehog. X Men. Whoa. 27 dresses. Sonic the Hedgehog. X Men. 27 dresses.
Amy
Who?
Bobby Bones
I think I know this is not the person. I can't even think of her name in it.
Amy
Oh, I have her written down.
Bobby Bones
You do?
Amy
But I don't think she's in either one of the other movies.
Bobby Bones
You don't think she's in Sonic the Hedgehog?
Amy
Sonic, I don't know. And then X Men. Is X Men the same thing as Wolverine?
Bobby Bones
Okay, I'm in.
Eddie
I'm in.
Amy
I'm in. Amy Katherine Heigl.
Eddie
Eddie, I put down James Marsden says Now that's it.
Amy
Is he.
Eddie
I know he's in, Sonic, but I don't know if he's in the other ones.
Amy
Oh, yeah, that's it.
Bobby Bones
He is. I actually wrote down Sonic, that little animal. I thought maybe he showed up in all three of them.
Eddie
But he's one of your favorite actors.
Amy
Yeah, but he's in paradise. That's what we know him for.
Bobby Bones
Injury duty.
Eddie
And I didn't really know if his first name was James. I just guessed.
Bobby Bones
That's a good one. I think you won, dude. I can't catch you. Go. Until next one.
Eddie
Was it on my right?
Bobby Bones
Yep. James Marsden.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
All right. The Parent Trap. The day after tomorrow. The Rookie. I'm in, stupid.
Amy
I'm in.
Eddie
I'm in.
Bobby Bones
Shut up, Eddie. Shut up, Eddie. Got it. Amy, what do you have?
Amy
Dennis Quaid.
Bobby Bones
I have Dennis Quaid. Eddie's a winner. Good job. That's good. We got invited to a wedding.
Amy
Yes. Well, technically they already eloped, but they are having a celebration, a small celebration on a ranch in South Texas. And we are among the 60 people invited.
Lunchbox
Who?
Amy
The Bobby Bone Show?
Bobby Bones
No, who invited us?
Amy
Oh, our listeners, Craig and Caitlin.
Bobby Bones
Oh. Shout out, Craig and Caitlin.
Amy
Yeah. So they sent us a whole picture of their elopement at City Hall.
Bobby Bones
Let me see. Let me see if I believe they're gonna make.
Eddie
Did you bite that invitation?
Amy
Dog did. Oh, my dog.
Bobby Bones
I thought this was just their design.
Eddie
Why? Is it part of it missing?
Bobby Bones
Amy's dog ate Caitlin and Craig's invitation 2nd February. Yeah. We missed this.
Amy
No, no, no. That's when they eloped. They're having the party in May.
Eddie
And where is it?
Amy
At a ranch in Texas.
Bobby Bones
Look at that. They look happy. They're going to make it.
Amy
I'm not disclosing the location.
Eddie
Okay.
Amy
It's a mountain range.
Bobby Bones
Stay alope. But they're also dressed in wedding gown and suit. I thought the purpose of eloping was you can just go on like a cutoff.
Eddie
I don't know.
Amy
No elopement. You can be dressed up. It's just more of a. It's just.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I'd be in razorback shorts. Cut off.
Eddie
90s gym shorts.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, like Katelyn. We're good, right?
Amy
So we got this nice note from them about how they started listening to us on long road trips.
Bobby Bones
Is that a real note?
Amy
This is a real note, yeah.
Bobby Bones
And they signed it, dear Bobby Bones Show. My fiancee and I are getting married May 2026. Oh, they haven't been married yet?
Amy
No, they. They're married. They eloped. That's the party.
Bobby Bones
It says, my fiance and I are getting married in May 2026.
Amy
Well, I think that they mean married
Bobby Bones
at a party, going to a typo party because they typo their magician. I'm out.
Amy
It says, On February 2nd, Caitlin and Craig were married in a private ceremony in San Antonio.
Bobby Bones
I think this AI. They've mixed. It's like when you get scammed and they mix up.
Amy
The celebratory party is in May.
Bobby Bones
Okay. It says, my fiance and I are getting married May 2026, on a private ranch in Texas, surrounded by a close family and a few lifelong friends. Our celebration will be intentionally intimate. Fewer than 60 guests, centered on gratitude, family, and the joining of a blended family that includes our nine year old daughter. We're sending this note as a sincere invitation with no expectation attached, because the Bobby Bones show has been a part of our story. Caitlin has been a diehard fan for years, and when we started taking long road trips together, your show became the soundtrack. Always a listening choice, always a topic of conversation, as military members, long drives and times on the road have been a real part of our life. Your show brought humor, steadiness, and a familiar voice. If your team acknowledges. Chooses to acknowledge our wedding anyway, we'd be genuinely on. Oh, acknowledge a wedding.
Amy
That's what we're doing.
Bobby Bones
We're acknowledging the crap out of this, even though I'm confused. But regardless, thank you for the joy you've brought into our relationship and for the work you do every day. Craig and Caitlin. And they did sign it. That is very nice. How about that? I mean, we can. I would go, but I'm just confused on the dates.
Eddie
Right. What date is it? Like, where? When do we go?
Amy
It's on the back of the, on the back of the.
Bobby Bones
My fiance, 20, 26.
Amy
They're like, we eloped. And then at the bottom.
Bobby Bones
Your dog ate this. I don't even know what's it says.
Amy
It says at the bottom, may. The party's in May, but just don't say where.
Bobby Bones
Saturday, May. What? San Antonio.
Amy
It's at a private ranch.
Eddie
Hey, do you think they were planning on getting married in May? And then they're like, yeah, screw it, let's just elope. And then they eloped.
Amy
I think this was their invitation they sent out to people. We eloped. And then they're like, please join us for a celebration. Saturday, May 30, 5pm Now I'm gonna say everything because y'.
Bobby Bones
All. Wait. What can we send them?
Amy
Well, there's a QR code.
Eddie
Oh, for the registry scan.
Amy
The QR code.
Bobby Bones
I'll buy the. By the way. I have to, I want to say this, I want to say this with love and gratitude to everybody listening right now. Anytime I do something like this, I get a thousand more asking for stuff. I love to do things for our listeners. I do 99% of things away from a microphone that you would never know. But I'm gonna do this on microphone because we're talking about it. I'm not doing anymore on microphone.
Amy
And they said just acknowledging would be great. They have no expectations. And they're not asking.
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna acknowledge with a financial gift,
Amy
let's see, say from the Bobby Bone Show. That's who it's from.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah, all of us.
Eddie
You guys chipping in and then, and then put our names on there.
Bobby Bones
Guest arrival. It just, it's exchange of vows, candle lighting and dinner. First dance, dancing and dessert shuttle.
Amy
But I bet there's gifting on there.
Bobby Bones
I, I, Ah, good looking couple.
Amy
Yeah, they're cute.
Bobby Bones
How about that? Thought they might be ugly. They're not.
Amy
I tooodled on the back too.
Eddie
I was, I thought that was like.
Bobby Bones
I didn't think they were gonna be ugly. I'm just kidding, guys. It's a little joke website. Let's see, they're doing to go on Six Flags or no. Are they just. Or is that where people can stay their honeymoon? Oh, no. Things to do while you're here. We could go to SeaWorld San Antonio.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
We go to the wedding. Six Flags Fiesta. This is where we're from, so we've all been there many times. San Antonio Zoo. It's a good zoo, by the way. The Alamo. Been there. San Antonio Riverwalk. Been there. A little overrated.
Amy
Still good.
Eddie
I love it.
Amy
It's got great.
Bobby Bones
The river walk is great, man. Too many times.
Eddie
Mariachis, margaritas. Dick's Last Resort.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, where everybody wears the big hat.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
I don't. Amy. I don't see a place I can gift them anything. Home. Our story schedule, travel gallery, things to do, frequently asked questions. Hey, I got a question. How do I gift you something?
Eddie
They don't have a registry that wasn't frequently asked.
Bobby Bones
Is it on anywhere else? I got about 30 seconds left. And I'm registered. I'm out.
Amy
Oh, this. The QR code is. Oh, it says here, RSVP by May 2nd by scanning the QR code.
Bobby Bones
First dance.
Amy
Oh, they have a website.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I'm on it. Oh, lovebird.com.
Amy
but I think my dog bit that part.
Bobby Bones
Oh, no, I think lovebird.com is a page. You set up a site and then they have.
Eddie
I was like, that's legit.
Amy
Okay, so there is a website, but my dog bit it off.
Eddie
Oh, no.
Bobby Bones
Are you just serious?
Amy
I don't know.
Eddie
You just see the G and gift.
Amy
Oh, no, it says. Well, it says rsvp. Or by going to our website, I bet it's like, could it be Caitlin and Craig dot com?
Bobby Bones
Mike, will you try Caitlin and Craig dot com?
Amy
If it's through Lovebird, it'd be lovebirds.
Bobby Bones
That's what I.
Amy
Calm. Slash their names.
Bobby Bones
That's what I have. And there's no way to give them a gift.
Amy
Okay, they're must be. Maybe they're just. Maybe they're like you and Caitlin. Y'. All don't. They don't want gifts.
Eddie
Everybody wants gifts.
Amy
Not Bobby and Caitlin. No, they don't.
Bobby Bones
Surprise. We don't have to, like, say we don't.
Amy
Don't know.
Bobby Bones
But it's cool for that. We did cool. But I mean, I'll take. Yeah, that.
Amy
Wait, wait, don't take that as a negative.
Bobby Bones
I'm saying, like, I like gifts. Surprise wheels. We're so grateful. Yeah. I got nothing. No. Okay. I got Amy's dog ate their gift.
Amy
No, I think it was just the website probably said Lovebird.
Bobby Bones
Okay. There's no gift. All right. Everybody feel good about that?
Eddie
Not really, but Craig and Caitlyn shout
Bobby Bones
out, made with a lovebird. Getting married. Make your own. That ain't a way to get him a gift. Oh, are you signed up for the registry service? Oh, it says your company love and well wishes are the most important gift of all. Well, here you have it.
Amy
They they don't want a gift.
Eddie
So love and well wishes.
Amy
That is like you if you want
Bobby Bones
to go to the wedding or to the party if you're a woman. A sundress or a jumpsuit.
Eddie
A jumpsuit. Like a suit?
Amy
Well, yeah. I mean, San Antonio in May. It's going to be warm.
Bobby Bones
See anything?
Amy
It's gonna be warm.
Bobby Bones
Men. Button down her polo shirt. Where will the celebration take place? Okay, well, no gift for them, but in our hearts, we're gifting the crap out of you. You know what? In my heart, I just gifted you a new car.
Amy
That's cool, though. That was nice of them to say.
Bobby Bones
Luxury car. Yeah. So congratulations to them. What are you doing today?
Amy
Going to Pilates.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. How about Home Depot?
Amy
Oh, a monster created Pilates. I am doing that, too. I was thinking through my head all my errands, you know, I haven't been able to go because of my pellets.
Bobby Bones
Okay, go ahead.
Amy
So I'm gonna go do Pilates. And yes, I'm going to Home Depot because I read gardening wards off dementia.
Bobby Bones
I was talking to someone about gardening yesterday, and they were like, I'm not a very good gardener, but I'm trying to. And I said, what are you growing? And it was like, nothing. You eat just flowers.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You don't have to eat just flowers.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Right now that counts as gardening.
Eddie
Sure. Now's the time to do that.
Amy
The plants in the soil is like the best medicine. So I'm going there specifically for some Miracle Gro garden soil. And then also I am cleaning out my garage this weekend. And you know what's all up in my garage is a bunch of leaves. So I'm going to get a leaf blower, and they have a Milwaukee leaf blower that's on sale, so I'm getting that.
Bobby Bones
This spring, Home Depot is bringing fresh energy to all the seasonal projects you have in mind to refresh your outdoor spaces. The Home Depot has everything you need to bring your yard to life. You bring the ideas, we'll bring the help. Like Amy said, the miracle Gro garden soil. Dang. Hampton Bay pillows for your outdoor furniture.
Amy
Yes, those are cute.
Bobby Bones
A next grill four burner propane gas girl. What do you know? We're doing on 25 whistles, our sports show on Monday, Eddie and Kickoff Kevin are competing to see who makes the best meat.
Eddie
How cute is that?
Amy
Interesting.
Bobby Bones
They're just like, I'll make better meat than you. It's like the guy thing to do.
Eddie
So dumb.
Amy
Like, you should be like, winner gets a Next Girl four burner. Hey, now we're talking propane gas grill from Home Depot.
Bobby Bones
Caitlyn and Craig, in your wedding, can we send you a next girl 4 burner propane gas girl from Home Depot or Miracle Grill? Yeah, I don't know if they want that, but. Or a Milwaukee handheld blower.
Amy
Well, it's cordless, too.
Bobby Bones
A corded blower kind of blower.
Eddie
That'd be terrible.
Bobby Bones
You can go, like, one foot. You got a circle. That's just really good.
Amy
No, because a long time. Like, I remember my dad, when he would use it, he had this really long extension cord, and that's how.
Bobby Bones
But that's probably, like, in the 80s.
Amy
I know, but that's what's so wonderful about having a cordless one.
Bobby Bones
Spring Black Friday deals are happening now at the Home Depot. Get spring Black Friday savings on everything you need this season. Shop 14 Days of Deals during spring Black Friday at the Home Depot. Bring your yard to life with spring Black Friday deals happening now. And so Amy will do Pilates and then Home Depot.
Amy
He said Pilates and Home Depot.
Bobby Bones
I was like, amy, we got to go to Home Depot. What are you doing after the show? I don't know. Pilates?
Amy
No, I wasn't saying. No, we would get there.
Bobby Bones
We did get there. Okay. Thank you, Bones. Ra's been sick pretty much all week. We got Lunchbox on the phone. Mr. Covid. We call him Daniel Covid. Lunchbox, are you there?
Lunchbox
Hey, man. How's it going?
Bobby Bones
How's your voice? How you feel?
Lunchbox
I'm back.
Amy
No, he's trying to sound good.
Eddie
Sounds better, though.
Amy
Yeah, he does sound better, but he's. You're definitely working it.
Lunchbox
I'm not working anything. I'm just working the phones here. I'm just. You know, when you call, I answer. That's how it is. And I sound good. I. I should be in that studio today.
Amy
Except for maybe potentially still contagious.
Lunchbox
Yeah, potentially. I mean.
Bobby Bones
No. So here's what we're going to do. Just so everybody knows, with today being Thursday, tomorrow's end of the week. Lunchbox will not be in today, obviously. Or tomorrow. We'll just fresh, because I'll have Saturday and Sunday.
Lunchbox
Wait, wait. Friday. I can't even come in Friday, I
Bobby Bones
think, because it's only one day. What will give him all those days to get better.
Lunchbox
Yeah, but you need me for the dance party.
Bobby Bones
We're good. No, no, we think. We think you need to stay. Don't dance. Get back to normal. Did any of your finally get Covid no, not that.
Lunchbox
No, I'm nothing yet. And maybe. And you know, here's the thing. Maybe my kids had it, you know, because they had little sniffles like last week, but they didn't seem to be bothered. But I don't know, maybe that's what they had. Maybe they didn't. I don't know.
Bobby Bones
I got an update for you if you'd like to hear it.
Lunchbox
About what?
Bobby Bones
Talk to Cheryl Crow.
Lunchbox
Oh, what she had to say you
Bobby Bones
weren't at her house.
Lunchbox
Okay. That's why I said Cheryl Caro and I bought her stuff.
Amy
Oh, he was a Cheryl Carol.
Eddie
Cheryl Carol. She's different.
Bobby Bones
Lunchbox said he went to Cheryl Crow's house because she was having an estate sale. And I thought first, should we even be talking about this on the air? And then two, why would Cheryl Crow just invite people over to her house? By the way, Cheryl Crow, massive music star. So many number one hits over the years. And so she said that you were at her parents house and it's a house that they're selling. She doesn't live there.
Lunchbox
Oh, man.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Well, that sucks.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So I just wanted to update you on that.
Lunchbox
Then why did I buy the stuff?
Bobby Bones
Well, you only bought two bricks, which was kind of weird.
Lunchbox
And a painting, a tree painting kind of thing. I don't know what it was.
Eddie
Cheryl Crow's mom painting?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Cheryl Crow's parents painting.
Lunchbox
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But I wanted to be able to say I had Cheryl Crow stuff. That was the whole point.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you can't though. Now the point is you. You can say you have Cheryl Crow's parents painting.
Lunchbox
Now I gotta. Now hear me out. Could she be saying this to cover her tracks now? Now that the word's out?
Bobby Bones
No, because she also said they're selling that house and that house is for sale. Oh, yeah.
Eddie
Did she also say, like, if Lunchbox wants to buy it?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah. If you want to buy that house, you can.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I'm sure I could really afford that. I mean, I may have to sell my three children and a couple appendages.
Bobby Bones
We weren't there. We don't know how big it was. What have you been doing the last couple days as you've been sick?
Lunchbox
Man, I've just been laying on the couch taking naps. I mean, it's been like. It's crazy. It's like when you're sick, you don't even do anything and you're exhausted. You're so tired.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
And so I've been taking some good solid naps not sleeping great though, just like because you wake up because you can't breathe because you're all stopped up. But I am in the middle of season three of Hacks. Got through season two for the second time and it all came back to me. So now I'm in the middle of season three. So that's what I've been doing, man.
Bobby Bones
And you still think you should come in tomorrow?
Lunchbox
Yeah, I think I'm ready.
Bobby Bones
We're gonna make that Monday.
Lunchbox
I know, but I mean, don't I sound good? I sound ready to go.
Bobby Bones
You sound like you're faking good a little bit.
Eddie
You're like over excited.
Bobby Bones
Appreciate the effort. Hey, just so you know though, we did produce and it may go up today. Maybe tomorrow. A Price is Right special episode all about your journey on Price is Right. From when you said you wanted to go and we like, you know, you have days off work all the way to when you came back. How do you feel about that?
Lunchbox
Oh, man, that feels pretty good. That feels like you guys are giving me a little. It's like a. What is it called? A tribute.
Eddie
Yeah, you didn't die.
Bobby Bones
You didn't die. But yeah.
Lunchbox
Yeah, that's the problem though, as I was going to say. Does that mean that these are my days or numbers?
Bobby Bones
You tell us. You don't sound very good.
Lunchbox
It's usually at the end of the career you do that, you know, it's like. Oh, you know, like a highlight video at the end of your career when you're retiring up on the big board.
Bobby Bones
Anybody reach out to you in the last day or so about Price is Right? Any new game shows coming at you?
Lunchbox
No, nothing, man. Nothing, Nothing, nothing.
Bobby Bones
Do you think. Do you think that that slide. You're all the way at the bottom of that slide now. Like, it was fun, but now it's over.
Lunchbox
I'm starting to think America's forgot about me, which is not what you want.
Bobby Bones
It's not what you want to be.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I thought I'd be on top of mine. Everybody be hitting me up right away. But I've gotten nothing. And that's kind of sad.
Bobby Bones
Highest to high now the lowest you get coveted. Okay.
Lunchbox
Yeah, it's like, it's weird. You go for the highs of highs to, you know, curled up in your bed, like with COVID You know, it's like, it's weird. The world comes at you fast, man.
Bobby Bones
Anything happening in your life you want to share? Since you haven't been on the air,
Lunchbox
my nose is running quite a bit.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's good.
Amy
But he wants to come in.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it feels terrible, but. And his nose is running. But he wants to come in.
Lunchbox
Yeah, well, I mean, running knows it. Anything that's nothing big.
Bobby Bones
It sounds contagious.
Lunchbox
Yeah, it does keep. Oh, running nose ain't contagious.
Amy
Okay, but covet is. So
Eddie
why do you want to. Why do you want to come in so bad?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, he literally never.
Eddie
You're watching tv doing nothing. You're living your dream right now.
Lunchbox
Yeah, but I know the fans, you know, they need it. They need. They need entertainment. You know, the show. I've been. Been getting a lot of messages. Show has been kind of lackluster. Oh.
Bobby Bones
Oh, dang. I didn't know that. Dang. Yeah, because I've been getting a lot of messages. That show's never been better, so.
Lunchbox

If the show starts without us, there's no hiding in the back row. I'm gonna ask that man for directions. Hi there. We're trying to get to the comedy club.
Bobby Bones
Well, you're gonna take a left at the old oak tree at this here road. Nah, I'm just kidding. Let me get my phone out.
Amy
How is their signal out here?
Bobby Bones
T Mobile and US Cellular are coming together. So the network out here is huge. We get the same great signal as the city, saving a boatload with benefits. And there's a five year price guarantee too. Okay, here's the turn.
Amy
Actually, can you pull up the way to a T Mobile store?
Bobby Bones

The Bobby Bone store. All right, we're two man in this thing. It's just Eddie and myself. Lunchbox is out sick, so it's time for the Investigative morning corny. 90 seconds on the clock. Amy, you ready?
Amy
Yep.
Bobby Bones
Go. The morning Corny.
Amy
What two candies do you find at school.
Eddie
Two candies. You find it.
Bobby Bones
Mike and Ike. School and bowler. Teacher and starbursts.
Eddie
I'm trying to think.
Bobby Bones
Rolos.
Eddie
Kit Kats. Nerds.
Bobby Bones
Nerds.
Eddie
Nerds.
Bobby Bones
Oh, nerds. And. Okay. Nerds and smarties. Yes. Great job.
Amy
Okay. Why was the computer late for school?
Bobby Bones
Ram. It rammed into a car in the parking lot, and it didn't have insurance. And then laptop. What was it?
Amy
Why was the computer late for school?
Eddie
Screen server.
Bobby Bones
Hard. I can't drive. Hard drive. Oh, yeah.
Eddie
It had a hard drive.
Bobby Bones
Oh, it had. Okay.
Amy
Okay. Why did the broom. Broom. Get poor grades in school?
Bobby Bones
Swept. Dirt is swept away by grades, by recess. Dirt. Read it again, please.
Amy
Why did the broom get poor grades in school?
Eddie
Swept. It was swept away.
Bobby Bones
It was sweeping.
Eddie
It was.
Bobby Bones
It's sweeping.
Eddie
Could that be like a lisp. Like, sweep beat? Like a. It was sweeping on the job or
Bobby Bones
sleeping on the job or sleeping in class.
Eddie
It was sweeping in class.
Amy
Okay, okay. How did the cheese get hurt at school?
Bobby Bones
Graded.
Eddie
It graded.
Bobby Bones
It got bad grades.
Eddie
Read it again.
Amy
How did the cheese get hurt at school?
Bobby Bones
Why am I getting hurt at school?
Eddie
It's getting hurt.
Amy
Nobody got hurt or hurt. This is hurt.
Bobby Bones
Oh, hurt. It got great cheese. It was great. It was graded too hard.
Eddie
Cheddar.
Amy
It was grated. Too hard.
Bobby Bones
That makes no sense.
Amy
What's a buck's least favorite?
Bobby Bones
We did good.
Amy
You got four of my school jokes.
Eddie
I didn't notice that either one of them.
Bobby Bones
I don't feel. I don't know what we got. Like, I just said the words. I don't know, but I just said the words.
Amy
Hard drive.
Eddie
No, no, the graded one.
Amy
No, that was the last one.
Bobby Bones
The hard drive one, I think, because
Amy
you said hard drive. And I was thinking, like, that's it.
Bobby Bones
And I was like, okay, because he
Amy
had a hard drive. That's why he was late to school. Because he had a hard drive.
Bobby Bones
I would like to say we'll accept it because we got it. I didn't get that on purpose. I just said those words. So we'll take it. 4. Hey, solid.
Eddie
That's really good.
Lunchbox
Why don't you guys play more of Zach Top?
Matchmaker
He is a great talent, and it's
Bobby Bones
probably because he sounds more like the older True country songs. But Zach. Zach Top is amazing.
Eddie
Thank you.
Bobby Bones
Hi. We love Zach Top. What we really affect is we have guests in. That's when Zach Top comes in. I like Zach as a person. We play. I think everybody has an idea that I just pick all the songs. I don't pick the songs every once in a while, if I want to play a song, I will, but I don't. I. I don't pick the songs, so. And mostly it's like, do they have a single they're promoting? Is the record label promoting a song? Are they. I have no idea what's. I. I am also a fan of Zach Topp as a person and as his music, but it's not because he sounds like older true country songs. Like, if it comes to country music, like, that's generally what I like anyway. So if I were playing music, it'd probably be more Zack Top. But, you know, there's a lot of research. I don't know. That's what they tell me goes into the music.
Amy
Maybe there's some variables at play.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. We don't control the music in case anybody's wondering. Some of it we like. Some of it we think's terrible for being honest.
Amy
Honestly.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Amy
And it makes it to number one sometimes.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. We're like, what the crap? But then there are certain songs that we love that don't make it to number one. And we're like, why? That song's awesome. But we are Zach Top fans, so. I know I took this out on you a little bit. I shouldn't have, but that's what's up. We also love Zach Top. We also love a lot of music that doesn't get played on the radio, and we wish it would too. But thank you for leaving a voicemail. We are like you Bobby Bone show. Bonehead Lunchbox is still out sick, Covid. Luckily, Eddie's here to fill in for the bonehead. Go ahead.
Eddie
This one comes to us from Kentucky. A man was arrested for drunk driving. However, he wasn't driving a car. He was riding his horse. Cops saw him in the middle of the road. They're like, is there a guy on that horse? He was drunk. He was slumped over, passed out on the saddle, and a liquor bag tied to the saddle.
Bobby Bones
It feels very wild west.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And I understand the rules, but if there's no motor, aren't you just riding an animal drunk?
Eddie
Funny you say that. He was arrested and charged with him operating a non motor vehicle under the influence.
Bobby Bones
Hopefully that's lesser. Right?
Eddie
Well, it's kind of bad because if
Bobby Bones
you're drunk and it's like, well, I can drive home or I can just get on the horse. I want you to get on the horse.
Amy
Right. But then are you also not only endangering yourself, but an animal?
Bobby Bones
The horse is fine.
Amy
Nuh not if you lead it into traffic.
Bobby Bones
But the horse can make its own decisions, though.
Amy
No, not if you're.
Lunchbox
Not.
Bobby Bones
If you're like a horse ain't going into traffic if you're pulling the race.
Amy
No, you kick the back and say, giddy up.
Bobby Bones
I didn't know you were gonna do giddy up. That's a whole different level.
Amy
I do feel like.
Bobby Bones
I feel like this should be lesser if you're driving a horse.
Amy
I agree. It's different.
Bobby Bones
You're driving a horse. If you're riding a horse. Yeah. You're not even driving the horse. You're riding the horse.
Eddie
Problem is he had a warrant for his arrest on something else so that
Bobby Bones
he should go to jail for. What do they do with the. Okay, that's a good one. Good question. So the car gets towed. What happens with the horse if you have to arrest the person? You don't just set it free, do you?
Eddie
Yeah. Is there like a tow yard for horses, impound lot?
Bobby Bones
Like a guy with a carriage comes around.
Amy
Maybe like a foster parent farm maybe?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I mean, it could go back to their house.
Eddie
That's a good question.
Bobby Bones
That's a weird one. Okay, There you go. What do we do here? I'm not Lunchbox. I forget.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah. I'm Eddie for Lunchbox. And that's your bonehead story of the day.
Bobby Bones
I saw this guy in Tick Tock. So he went and he bought a Abraham Lincoln flag and he puts it in his steakhouse and people go eat there and it's huge. And he paid like a ton of money for. Have you guys seen this at all?
Eddie
No.
Bobby Bones
They come across your Tick Tock algorithm?
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
New York City steakhouse has a unique historical item on display. Keene's Steakhouse, the 141 year old New York City institution, has paid tribute to President Abraham Lincoln for years, including having a Lincoln themed dining room, artifacts on the wall. But one of the displays now is the actual American flag that was draped over his casket for the funeral. The restaurant's owner bought the eatery and the flag. And the flag has been up for auction multiple times over the years. He bought it and it's legit. It's. It's a monster. It's a huge flag, but you can, like, sit in front of it and have dinner. But it's all out of respect.
Amy
Yeah, of course.
Bobby Bones
What are you, $525,000 was the flag.
Amy
Oh, my gosh. Wow. Quite the investment.
Bobby Bones
That is quite the investment. You got to sell a lot of sirloin to cover that. We're done. Bye everybody. Bobby Bone Come on.
