Transmitting across America.
Morgan
This is the Bobby Bo.
Bobby Bones
Let's go. Welcome to Thursday show Morning Studio. Morning. What do you want to sell online?
Amy
A couch.
Bobby Bones
And I think that's great. I think somebody would love to have your couch. It's very nice. What's the issue?
Amy
Well, my cat has peed on it a couple of times.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
And I have cleaned it to the best of my ability. I just. It's time that it's gotta go. Look, the space where it was is a little too cramped. I've decided to put chairs there. So it's not leaving because of the cat pee. But I would like to sell it. Or honestly, they'd be doing me a favor if they come and haul it away.
Bobby Bones
That's not how you sell it. No, you sell it because it's an awesome couch.
Amy
Right. But I could sell it. Or because of the cat pee. It could be free.
Bobby Bones
Why are you saying because of the cat pee? You don't have to say the cat peed on it.
Amy
Are you sure? I feel like I Should disclose.
Bobby Bones
You think this is Carfax?
Amy
So, like, every accident that's happened on the couch needs to be disclosed, Right?
Bobby Bones
That would be. What, are there stains? Like big cat pee stains?
Amy
No. You can't even tell.
Eddie
Does it smell?
Amy
No. I feel like I got that out pretty good. But cats, they pick up on things. So what if the person that buys it has a cat, and then when they sniff out another cat has peed, and then their cat pees on it? I just feel like it's helpful information.
Bobby Bones
I understand the moral dilemma. However, by that logic, you would need to disclose every accident that's ever happened on that couch.
Amy
Well, the. The cat pee is the worst thing.
Bobby Bones
I mean, what if you had a baby at the house and baby peed on it and you cleaned that out? Would you share that? What if somebody drooled all over it and you scrubbed that out? Would you share that? My point is, if you get it out, it's not like somebody was murdered on it. I think that you should. That's probably disclosed.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
And just put that on the curve. Yes.
Eddie
No one would buy that, I don't think.
Bobby Bones
Kathy, as long as there's not a stain that is very visible, I don't think you have to share.
Amy
So I can actually sell it for money?
Bobby Bones
I think you can sell it. Does anyone think I'm wrong?
Eddie
No, I think that.
Amy
Okay, sorry. I don't know why it just like, I felt like the listing should say, FYI, there's cat pee.
Bobby Bones
And then. Then you will not sell the couch. You will not sell the couch.
Amy
Okay, but again, how much would you sell it for? Again, them coming to pick it up is doing me a favor because I'd have to pay to have it hauled off.
Bobby Bones
And that's terrible in the description. If you just picked this up, you're doing me a favor. That's terrible.
Amy
Okay, but also, don't you love the whole. Yes, there's cat pee. So this couch is. It rhymes.
Eddie
What are you starting a business, Dr. Seuss?
Bobby Bones
Okay, so what would. What do you want for the couch?
Amy
I mean, I would probably take. It's more of like a little love seat situation. I'd probably take 100 bucks. 150.
Bobby Bones
Oh, you're going up. You just said free. Now you're going up. Yeah.
Amy
Nice. And it's velvet. I like it. It's cute.
Bobby Bones
So this is what I would do. Listed for 150, someone will come to you and say, will you do 100? And don't even negotiate back with them. So you feel Better about it.
Amy
Say, no, I can't interact with them in person. Because then I would be like, online.
Bobby Bones
Okay, no, don't yell. There's cat.
Eddie
Amy. Forget the cat. It's not a thing, is nothing.
Bobby Bones
Okay, move on, Sell it. But whatever they come back to you with, this can be your way to. To rectify your moral issue. Is that they. They. How about we take 75? Yes, I will. So you're taking their bottom line off for that nice cat.
Amy
So they say, take 75. And I'll be like, yeah, because there's Cathy.
Bobby Bones
Oh, no.
Eddie
They'll hear that.
Bobby Bones
Yes. If you whisper it even that loud, they'll hear it.
Amy
Okay. Because I called about getting it professionally cleaned. I again, I cleaned it the best I could. But to even get the more money.
Bobby Bones
Cleaning it than you are, it would.
Amy
Be a hundred dollars to have a professional clean. And I'm like, wait a second. This is silly. Morgan, I would say, as a fellow cat owner, that, yes, it'd be kind to say that a cat peed on it just in case, but I think you can still get money for it. I think people would put in the effort for a nice couch. That's 100 bucks, and they would clean it.
Bobby Bones
I'd like to add perspective to that too.
Amy
I think that y' all are not cat. Morgan and I are cat owners, so we know cat pee is very distinct, and it's like a whole thing.
Bobby Bones
I'm familiar with cats. You act like I never seen a cat before.
Amy
Well, they are very territorial, and they will go after something.
Bobby Bones
Whiskers. I've been there. I've seen them before. Listen, listen. Your price is already low because of the cat pee, right? They're already getting the cat pee discount.
Amy
They don't know it.
Bobby Bones
There's no need to tell them. Again, it's an A couch.
Amy
Okay. I didn't think about how, like Carfax, you mentioned couch facts.
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna start that now.
Amy
Like that. What do you disclose on. Or any spill.
Bobby Bones
Correct.
Amy
It's just I'm with Morgan. She understands my concern about the cat pee because it's such a.
Bobby Bones
And you're putting it at a cat pee price.
Amy
Specific scent, the cat pee.
Bobby Bones
Buy it now. Price is 150, but whatever they negotiate down to, boom, you'll take it.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
That's the real cat pee price. Okay, but no need to say cat B ever again. Eliminate that from your vocabulary. You guys feel free to reach out in our voicemail live.
Amy
I'll keep you posted.
Bobby Bones
And let us know. 8, 7, 7, 7, 7. Bobby.
Amy
Bones it's always good to wake up and laugh. Nashville's number one for new country.
Bobby Bones
Hello, Bobby Bones. My daughter had some friends over, even though they are only 13 or 14. I went down to check on them, and they were drinking. They found some previously stashed white claws, thanks to my older kid, tucked in the arms of the basement recliners. She knew I was angry, but I didn't yell. I was proud of myself. Now I need help with consequences and following through. What do you think our punishment should be, mom of a teenager? Amy, this is right up in your alley. Just because you have teenagers, so do you, Eddie. So you guys can both field this one. Amy, you go first.
Amy
Yeah, it's tricky, but, I mean, my daughter would definitely be grounded if she did that. And I don't know what the grounding would look like. Is it from her phone, certain things on her phone, going out with friends or her car for a little bit. But there would be a consequence like that. And follow through is you just gotta stick to it.
Bobby Bones
Is that hard? The hardest part of punishment, sticking to it?
Amy
Absolutely. Because then we've taken away my daughter's car multiple times, and then you always kind of need her to drive.
Bobby Bones
That's funny.
Amy
So then it becomes you can't drive unless you're doing something that's helpful for us or taking your brother somewhere, which is like, her biggest nightmare is having to tote him around. So sometimes that's punishment enough, but I think it's it. Yeah. She did that behind your back. She drank something that wasn't her. She knew she was underage, and other friends are there involved. Like, that's the trickiest thing.
Bobby Bones
So your advice to her would be.
Amy
You got to pick a consequence and stick to it. See it all the way through, build the timeline. But you need to be specific about the timeline ahead of time. Don't just be like, we'll see how this goes and we'll figure it out. Be like, this is two weeks. We're sticking to it. Nothing. Because sometimes we've done consequences without, like, an end in sight, and they need a goal to look forward to, to work towards. And then you. You all have that understanding. Because I think when we've left things loose, that's when we've not been able to follow through.
Bobby Bones
Eddie.
Eddie
Yeah. I mean, look. Consequence 100. This is the best one I can think of. The phone. These teenagers, dude, love the phone. So immediately when you read this, I said I would take the phone away for one month, and I'M I'm shocked that she didn't yell or get, like, lose it. I would have lost it if I would have found white claws in the couch.
Amy
You would have lost it. Like, yelling. I know, but then yelling, then, oh, no, but.
Eddie
But, guys, the yelling is. Is an act. Like, if you're just like, I'm very disappointed in you. They're like, okay, cool, I'm off the hook.
Bobby Bones
But if you go, what are you doing? I cannot believe you.
Eddie
They're just like, oh, Dad's really pissed. That's what you gotta do.
Bobby Bones
That's your communication tactic. I don't think everybody reacts the same to yelling. But she was being yelled at. Yeah, everybody's different.
Eddie
But she. Whoever wrote in, though, she said she was proud of herself for not yelling.
Bobby Bones
Man, she probably wanted to.
Eddie
Right, Right. For that ass.
Bobby Bones
So you would have yelled.
Eddie
You, dude, you yell as loud as you can, then you go one month without your phone. And then that's the first one. Right? And you got like. Amy said, stick with the punishment. Then if you break this, if you break this ever again, if I find a white claw anywhere near you, it's a whole year without your phone.
Amy
What? He's not being. This isn't reasonable.
Bobby Bones
But he never is.
Amy
It's not reasonable.
Eddie
No, no, no. Hey, that's up to them. The punishment is one month. Right. If you want to be stupid again and start drinking at 13 years old, then it's going to be a year without your phone.
Amy
Oh, my gosh. Did you say 14?
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, they're 14.
Eddie
They're 14.
Amy
Amy was picturing 16, which is.
Bobby Bones
But they also. I'm not saying that it makes it any better. They didn't go and track it down and hide it. They found it.
Eddie
Yeah. That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
Like the older brother. So it's not that they had this plan and they figured out how to sneak it, buy it, get it, they found it. And again, not that it makes it any better, but it doesn't make it worse.
Amy
Yeah. I think this also is a great opportunity. I don't recommend the yelling. I think it's more of an opportunity. No. To sign them up, but to stay calm and then have a conversation about alcohol and the impact it can have on your life, especially at that age, and decisions that you make. Because what I want with my kids as teenagers and what I've developed, my daughter, especially now that she's 18, is she tells me so much more than I ever thought she would. And I. I think it's a testament to how her dad and I have tried to be like, hey, we. We're. You can come to us about alcohol. You can come to us about parties. You can call us at any time. Like, we. We're not going to overreact because we want to be a safe space where she doesn't feel like she has to hide certain things, and then it becomes this taboo, and then she could be in more danger than if she were to just be honest with us.
Bobby Bones
Your thoughts on that?
Eddie
Oh, you look straight at me. Yeah, I think that's probably smarter, but I just feel like my kids and I have four boys. They don't take anyone seriously unless they look like they're making a. Like, a difference in the way they feel. So, like, in my case, like, when I yell, they're like, oh, crap, Dad's serious. Because if I just talk normal and be like, all right, let's talk about alcohol, they're just like, this is awesome.
Amy
Well, I don't. I think you can be firm and serious about it. I'm not talking about this like passive parenting. I think you can still be intentional, but create a safe space to where they're not scared to talk to you about something that happened.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So there's not one right answer is what we've learned, and that's why I wanted you guys both to talk, because all kids are communicated to and with differently, and, you know, it's going to work for your kids. The only thing that I would say is. Is based on what Amy said is whatever you do, stick by it. Because if you start not sticking by the things that you say you're doing, regardless if it's punishment, if it's prizes, if it's just what your. The expectations are, then the expectations really aren't real, because they expect you're gonna give up anyway.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And that's just a general expectation. So whatever your expectation is for their punishment, you have to stick to it. The same way if you promise them something, you gotta give it to them, or they'll just never trust you to actually give them what you say you're giving them.
Amy
Right.
Bobby Bones
All right, well, good luck with that, Mal.
Eddie
Good luck with that one.
Amy
Yikes.
Bobby Bones
Close it up. All right, let's play. The Feud lunchbox is out. Eddie's in. We asked 2000 Bobby Bones show listeners, what's a place you have to be quiet? Mike, roll the dice. Let's see who goes first. There are 10 answers on the board. What's a place you have to be quiet? Dropped it on the floor.
Eddie
It's Number nine.
Bobby Bones
Number nine. One, two, three.
Eddie
Eddie, is that me?
Bobby Bones
That's you. Okay, what's a place you have to be quiet?
Eddie
I think the number one answer is church. You gotta be quiet at church.
Bobby Bones
Show me church. 2.
Eddie
Oh, it's not the number one.
Bobby Bones
Not the number one answer. Two points there.
Eddie
Then that, that means that the library has to be number one.
Bobby Bones
Show me library. Number one answer. That is correct. Okay, you have three points. Two, zero, zero, zero. Bobby bonesho. Listeners were asked, what's a place you have to be quiet?
Eddie
Hotel. Huh? Hotel. You gotta be quiet.
Bobby Bones
Obviously by my reaction, you ain't right. I didn't even mean to react like that. I meant to go to the panel. Yeah, I know. They're never quiet the hotels I'm in.
Eddie
Really? Like after, after like midnight you gotta be quiet.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
Amy, at the movies.
Bobby Bones
Show me the movies. The movie theater is at number three. That is correct.
Amy
Hospital.
Eddie
That's good.
Bobby Bones
Give me a little more context. Not that I'm just wondering. It's not for the answer. You said hospital.
Amy
But yeah, context. I was thinking you just sort of. I don't know, when I'm there, you whisper because you know people's stuff is private. Like you want to hear it. Yeah, I just feel like people are often quiet because of their ailments. They don't want it to be publicized.
Bobby Bones
Great point. The.
Amy
The confidentiality.
Eddie
I don't want to talk about that.
Bobby Bones
Okay, show me hospital number five. And sir.
Amy
Okay. When a baby's sleeping. I don't know how to say that.
Bobby Bones
Like I think you said it exactly as is when a baby's sleeping.
Eddie
All right.
Bobby Bones
Over to Morgan. Morgan.
Amy
Yeah, I mean the first thing that come to mind to me, cuz I always go and it's always very quiet is a yoga studio.
Bobby Bones
A yoga studio.
Amy
Yoga.
Bobby Bones
I think you're like getting back into yoga a little bit.
Amy
I love yoga, but only.
Bobby Bones
I only want to do hot yoga.
Amy
I do hot yoga every Saturday morning. You would love it. Yeah, he's done it.
Bobby Bones
I've done it before. I just am terrible at it. Show me yoga.
Amy
Good one.
Bobby Bones
Number eight answer.
Amy
Wow. Okay. Okay then. You know I hang out with the senior living residents at a nursing home.
Eddie
Nah, buzzard.
Amy
Morgan's obviously.
Bobby Bones
I would think you would have to be louder there. Yes.
Eddie
Cuz they can't hear you.
Bobby Bones
Would you like pudding?
Amy
It's always very quiet there. You would think it'd be loud.
Bobby Bones
Show me Morgan's nursing home. All right, here we are going to round two points are doubled. Eddie, you have three points total. You're in last place.
Eddie
Okay. Morgan was so close with nursing home. I'm going to go one step further in the stage of life. The cemetery.
Amy
Oh, yeah, that's good.
Eddie
Did not talk at the cemetery.
Bobby Bones
Show me the graveyard.
Eddie
Dude, what is that?
Bobby Bones
Number nine. Oh, yes. Let's go. 18 points right there.
Amy
Freddie, that was good.
Bobby Bones
What's a place you have to be quiet? I'm gonna read you some of these, okay? At number one, library. Number two, church. Number three, movie theater. Number five, hospital. Number eight, yoga class. And number nine, cemetery. Terry. Eddie.
Eddie
I don't know how to say this, so I'll just go with massage place.
Bobby Bones
When you say place, you might not.
Amy
Know how to like, like.
Eddie
I didn't know. Parlor.
Bobby Bones
Like, don't talk about this when you leave here.
Eddie
No, no, no, no. Just like, you know, like a regular massage place. Like a spa.
Bobby Bones
Got it.
Eddie
Come on.
Bobby Bones
Hey, a finger quote. Spa.
Eddie
Come on.
Bobby Bones
Eddie's now in the lead with 21 points. Amy, round two.
Amy
Over to you, Museum.
Bobby Bones
Oh, good. Amy, more context, please.
Amy
A museum. I mean, you know, where art is.
Bobby Bones
Oh, got it. Finger coat. Art.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
What is art museum? Number 10 answer. 20 points. Good job. Three. Three left.
Amy
I don't really know anything else. It's loud there. It's loud there. I don't know, guys.
Bobby Bones
What's a place you have to be quiet?
Eddie
I think you have to answer something.
Amy
I know, and everything in my head right now is loud.
Bobby Bones
Give it a rip.
Amy
I'm like, airport. No. Meditation.
Bobby Bones
A meditation context. No.
Amy
I had the museum one, and now I'm struggling. Okay.
Bobby Bones
A recording studio while other people are recording.
Amy
Yeah.
Eddie
Oh, okay.
Bobby Bones
A recording studio. Okay, Eddie, round three. You are in second place with 21 points.
Eddie
I need this.
Bobby Bones
You need something? You need one. There are three answers left on the board.
Eddie
I'm not confident with any of my answers. I feel like one is for sure. Like, you have to be quiet here, but I don't think it's on the board. But I gotta go for it. I'm gonna go with the deer blind.
Amy
Oh, yeah.
Eddie
No, it's not on the board.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, we asked. A lot of our listeners. A lot of our listeners hunt.
Amy
That makes sense.
Bobby Bones
Where do you call it a deer blind? Because we. We hunted in duck blinds and deer stands.
Eddie
Oh, well, we had deer blinds. South Texas. Yeah. But if I've heard of deer stands. Yeah, because that's like, wide open, right? They can see you.
Bobby Bones
No, you're up in a tree.
Eddie
Oh, man, we never had that.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Any advantage? You can get, you know, show me quiet while hunting. Amy, you're in the lead. You don't have an answer by looking at your face.
Amy
Well, I have one now.
Bobby Bones
She goes. Doug, blinds.
Amy
No, because I feel like that would fall under.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, go ahead.
Amy
Hunting. I guess I would just say, like, during class. Like, you're not supposed to be quiet.
Bobby Bones
School.
Amy
Yes, but not like in the cafeteria because they're loud during lunch. So it's not just like school, if you're wanting me to be specific. It's when a lecture is happening or your teacher's teaching. Like I'm picturing in college a lecture. You can't talk. Sh.
Bobby Bones
Show me class or school.
Amy
Oh. I mean, I was never quiet, but yeah.
Bobby Bones
You now have 46 points. Points are tripled this round.
Amy
And how many are left? Two. There's still two.
Bobby Bones
There's still two. Eight down.
Amy
Hospice care.
Eddie
Definitely quiet.
Bobby Bones
Hospice care. All right, Morgan, you're in last place. You only have eight points. You got to get something. If you get well, you kind of need the number 7 answer or you're kicked out of the next round.
Amy
I'm so mad because I had class or school and I was like, that's loud.
Bobby Bones
Library, church, movie theater, hospital school, yoga class, cemetery, museum. We're looking for places. You have to be quiet.
Amy
I'm just really sticking with my hobbies here. And when you go to a speakeasy, you have to be very quiet.
Eddie
Buzzer, buzzer.
Bobby Bones
That's all I got before we crown Amy the champion at number four. Courtroom. You guys were so close to number seven. You danced around it.
Amy
Death, funeral.
Bobby Bones
But you got it. But you won. Amy's winner, 46 points. Bones.

That was my dad reminding me and so many others who need to hear it that our trauma is not our shame to carry and that we have big, bold and beautiful lives to live after what happened to us. I'm your host and co president of this organization, Dr. Lea Tritate. On my new podcast, the Unwanted Sorority, we wade through transformation to peel back healing and reveal what it actually looks like and sounds like in real time. Each week I sit down with people who've lived through harm, carried silence, and are now reshaping the systems that failed us. We're going to talk about the adultification of black girls mothering as resistance and the tools we use for healing. The Unwanted Sorority is a safe space, not a quiet space. So let's lock in. So what happened at Chappaquiddick? Well, it really depends on who you talk to.
Bobby Bones
There are many versions of what happened in 1969 when a young Ted Kennedy drove a car into a pond and.
Amy
Left a woman behind to drown. There's a famous headline, I think in the New York Daily News. It's Teddy escapes blonde drowns. And in a strange way, right, that's sort of tells you the story really became about Ted's political future, Ted's political hopes. Will Ted become president?
Bobby Bones
Kappaquiddick is a story of a tragic death and how the Kennedy machine took control.
Amy
And he's not the only Kennedy to survive a scandal.
Bobby Bones
The Kennedys have lived through disgrace, affairs, violence, you name it. So is there a curse? Every week we go behind the headlines and beyond the drama of America's royal family.

Bobby Bones
It's time for the good news with producer Eddie. Tell me something good.
Eddie
Brooke Johnson is skateboarding for a awesome cause. She's actually skateboarding across the country. She's going from California to Virginia, and she's on her hundredth day. She just passed Nashville, so she's almost there. And she's doing it for her stepdad. Her stepdad passed away from a spinal injury, so now she wants to raise money to have some spinal cord research done. So she's got $11,000 so far, and she's still trucking on a skateboard.
Bobby Bones
How old she a kid?
Eddie
I saw pictures of her. She looks kind of like in her twenties.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So skateboarding all the way.
Eddie
Yeah. And this is an electric skateboard. This is an actual skateboard that she's like.
Bobby Bones
They have electric skateboards?
Eddie
Oh, yeah. Yeah, they cheat posers. But she's not cheating. She's doing this on a real skateboard. Pretty amazing.
Bobby Bones
That's pretty cool. Good job. Hope she raises a bunch of money. There you go. That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good, Bones. A couple of Kansas City just named their newborn daughter Kelsey Taylor Grace.
Eddie
Here they come.
Amy
Kelsey Taylor.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. What do you think?
Amy
Kelsey Taylor Grace. Cute. It's cute. I mean, I don't even think naming.
Bobby Bones
It after two celebrities.
Amy
No, I mean, I feel like people.
Bobby Bones
Kelsey also Kelsey for a first name.
Amy
Oh, I know Kelsey's.
Bobby Bones
No, but Kelsey a girl for like K, L, C, E. Like the last name spelled like Travis and Jason. Kelsey. It's like S E, Y is different.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
That's a real girl name. I don't know. Is it? The spelling feels more masculine.
Eddie
Are you hating on this?
Amy
I think you're hating.
Bobby Bones
I think a little bit. Kelsey Taylor is. I think it's so. I think. Yeah, I sound like Mario. I think I. So.
Amy
Yeah, I mean, I think people name their kids after pop culture things all the time, but two.
Bobby Bones
Two people that aren't even married. Come on. You know a little bit. You just, you know a little bit.
Eddie
That's a good point.
Bobby Bones
You know, a little bit of Loserville, population 1.
Amy
What if.
Bobby Bones
Because the husband probably was like. No, come on.
Amy
No, no. What if the husband is a Chiefs fan and then the wife is a Taylor fan?
Eddie
Right?
Amy
This could have worked out even if Travis and Taylor were never together.
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna tell you right now, that would not happen.
Amy
Why?
Bobby Bones
Because if Travis and Taylor were never together, you think this dude's gonna fight for Kelsey?
Amy
Was he not a star player?
Bobby Bones
He still is a star. I'd start tight end. Sure.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
I'd name him Mahomes then people.
Amy
Yeah, but that's not a cute name.
Eddie
Mahomes.
Amy
First name. Could you imagine a girl being named Mahomes? Okay, I don't hate it. Come on, Bobby, don't hate it.
Eddie
Yeah, don't hate it, dude.
Bobby Bones
I don't hate it enough to think about it for one second after the segment is over. But I saw it and I started reading it and my emotion was, okay, you guys had to go with. To name your kid who's always going to be. This is always going to be what they're talk. Talked about to their kid, that their name is Kelsey Taylor after.
Amy
I don't feel like you always have to talk about it.
Bobby Bones
You don't think that's always going to be what they're talking about too?
Amy
No, not always.
Bobby Bones
Always.
Amy
What if her name.
Bobby Bones
Like, is it my friend DiCaprio Hanks? I'm telling You. That's all he gets asked about.
Amy
Yeah, well, that's pretty distinct. First name DiCaprio.
Bobby Bones
The parents wanted a name full of personality, deep meaning, with plenty of options for nicknames.
Amy
Stop with the deep meaning.
Eddie
But okay, come on, guys. You're right though. Like, they're not even married. Like they could break up tomorrow.
Amy
But that's okay. It's like you just celebrate. What was.
Bobby Bones
They can. They can nickname kt. They said that's cool. Kelsey Taylor. Kt. And they like, even if the couple breaks up, these names are still strong on their own.
Amy
Yep.
Bobby Bones
And I think Kelsey's fine. K, E, L, S E Y. For a girl. I think Kelsey.
Amy
How does he spell it?
Eddie
K E, L, C E. Just E at the end.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. People are gonna be like, kelse.
Eddie
No, everyone knows that last name now.
Bobby Bones
I think if I were just to see the name as a first name, I'll be like Kelsey.
Eddie
Yeah. I wonder why they didn't go with Taylor. Kelsey. Like, I feel like that would make more sense for a girl.
Bobby Bones
Great point.
Amy
Because then she'd be tk.
Bobby Bones
Okay, what's wrong with that? Oh, that's terrible.
Amy
KT is still kind of like Katie. Katie.
Eddie
Good point.
Amy
I don't know. Whatever.
Bobby Bones
You know it's weird and you're fighting for it. Okay, but you know it's weird. I don't say it's not wrong, but it's weird. And I wouldn't want a kid to have to be answer those questions their whole life. Kelsey Taylor, what are you named after? Well, there was this romance from a pop star and a tight end.
Eddie
It was short lived. It's just a couple years.
Amy
Yeah, but don't you think like you could name your kid after some, like one of your favorite cubs players? Like if they had a name, you combine one.
Bobby Bones
But I didn't name them after like a romance. I didn't name them Lori Morgan, Tony or Troy Aikman. You know why? That romance in didn't last aan Morgan. You know, now they have to answer their whole life. Hey. Ay. What? What? What's up? Why's your name Aikman Morgan? Well, Lori Morgan dated Troy Aikman for a while back in the day. You know, that's weird. I'm not the only one that feels this way. You just want to be nice to them. And I appreciate that about you. But you know, this is weird. If one of your friends came to.
Amy
You super close, I would be like, that's cute.
Bobby Bones
No, you wouldn't. Amy, if I came to you. And I was like, amy, we're having a daughter and we're gonna name it and I think we're gonna go with Kelsey Taylor.
Amy
And if you were dead serious about it, why would I laugh at your.
Bobby Bones
You would try not to snicker. You know, you'd give me advice.
Eddie
I think people would know immediately it's after Taylor Swift and Travis. Kelsey.
Bobby Bones
If they see it written for sure.
Eddie
Yeah, but if you just said she.
Amy
When she's in School in 15 years, maybe not like her teacher is not going to be like looking at roll call and be like, oh, Travis or Kelsey Taylor?
Bobby Bones
Kelsey. No, it's Kelsey, like Travis, like Jason. Kelsey Jason. Okay, well, that, that was one thing I wanted to talk about. Next up, this woman says yes to her boyfriend after he proposed 43 times in seven years.
Eddie
There you go, persistence.
Amy
43 times.
Eddie
What happened with the 42 time?
Bobby Bones
So the first time he popped the question, she said no. They had only been together six months at the time, but she went on to turn down 41 more times. His persistence paid off the 43rd time. And then they had a destination wedding in Jamaica. They're finally happily married. Does it become a bit though and to some of those times, you're not really that serious about it. Hey, you marry me? No.
Eddie
Or he's asking every day, right? Maybe even multiple times a day.
Bobby Bones
He started at eager, popping the question for the first time very early in their relationship. She quickly turned him down. Only six months. He persisted. He planned elaborate proposals over the course of their seven year relationship. Running a castle in Prague, arranging candle at dinners, a horseback riding trip. Each time she said, no, bro, I'm once and out. Maybe twice if it's way too early. But we're never hitting three.
Eddie
Like, I can't believe he. He got past the embarrassment of getting said no to every time.
Bobby Bones
I wonder if any of these were public, right? You would think odds are a couple of these would be public. When he asked her to be his wife the 42nd time, she said, next time you ask, I'm going to say yes, but just you wait. So he waited another year. Luke took her to somewhere in southeast London and he said, this is the center of the world. You are the center of my world. I want you to marry me. The 43rd time was the charm, bro.
Amy
Like, do you have a little talent sheet at home, cuz? Like, how are you keeping count of this?
Bobby Bones
She's a mess and you're needy.
Eddie
And how expensive was this? Gosh, every time they're going different places.
Bobby Bones
Horseback Candle it. Renting a castle. I'm one and out. Possibly a two again if I'm jumping way early, but I'm. There's no way. We're not. Again. We're not getting to. We're not filling up my hand at proposals. That's humiliating.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Again that she's a mess and he's a mess. Crazy attract. Crazy. I think they're made for each other. She wants to be wanted. He wants to want somebody.
Amy
Yeah.
Eddie
Center of the world.
Bobby Bones
They are so normal looking.
Eddie
They are.
Bobby Bones
Yep. She kind of looks like Lisa Loeb, the actress from the 90s. Kind of glasses and he just looks like Lunchbox.
Eddie
Pretty normal.
Bobby Bones
She must be a nightmare. 43 times say no and he must be an idiot. Or. Or one of the two. Yeah, yeah, that's all. What's. What's stupider? Him and her or naming that kid Kelsey Taylor?
Amy
Oh, him and her.
Eddie
Him and her.
Bobby Bones
That's pretty close.
Eddie
Nah, nah, man. Not even close.
Bobby Bones
Because I think she could have been doing a bit for like 20 of them.
Eddie
Just her, not him.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, well, both. Like, are you going to marry me this morning? No. Okay. Count down on the list.
Eddie
Ah, yeah, that's true.
Bobby Bones
You know what I mean? Okay. It's weird. Doesn't have to be wrong, but it can be weird. Correct.
Amy
Correct. We're. We're.
Bobby Bones
You can get to it.
Eddie
Come on in.
Amy
I don't know. Okay. She gives up my speech impediment.
Bobby Bones
Did you do the survey the company made you grade yourself on?
Amy
Oh, yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
I got.
Guest Speaker
I'm.
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna be valedictorian.
Amy
Oh. I got nervous that maybe I didn't. You're calling me out. I'm like, no, no, no, no. I did it.
Bobby Bones
I think I was the last one in the company to do it.
Amy
Okay.
Eddie
Have you done it?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I get again, good grades. I should speak at whatever graduation we're having. All A's. I gave myself the best. I wrote an entire paragraphs about how great I am.
Amy
Really? Oh, some of mine, like, I don't remember the scale, but, like, say it's one to five and five is best. Like some of them. I couldn't get myself a five.
Bobby Bones
Oh, really? I fived up.
Amy
Probably replying to emails.
Bobby Bones
Take home test and I crushed it. I sat there. Scuba's like, you're the last one to not take it. I didn't know how to log in. I haven't checked my company email in like years. So I think I like, dig and I found it. And if I get some Sort of ribbon to wear. It's because I rated highest by me giving myself.
Amy
Yeah. So that's where I don't think we're getting any kind of awards on our own ratings.
Bobby Bones
I thought you were going to see your boss's ratings of you, too. Like, you would see them up against each other. But no, everybody did it.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Did it kind of weird to do that. Like, why would they have you rate yourself?
Amy
I don't know. But I did get nervous that some people that have to work directly with me, like, if I rated myself, like, not accurately, they'd be like, yeah, right, she never flies.
Eddie
Like, that'd be fun. You know, challenge her survey, like, anonymously.
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. That was kind of a bizarre thing that we had to do. Yeah. Another thing I'm gonna ask you in a second, like, what you're following along with on the Internet right now, because I have a few of them. First off is the Joey Swole controversy. Are you familiar with Joey Swole?
Amy
No, I don't know who you're talking about.
Bobby Bones
So he sits in his car, is massive dude. Jack dude. And he always does videos of people who are, like, doing bad things in gyms. Like, if they're being annoying, they're being rude, they're being mean to old people. Anybody familiar with Joey Swallow?
Amy
Yeah, I know who he is.
Bobby Bones
So he's awesome. Love him. And so he just got off social media. He's done really amazing things. But he posted a video after Hulk Hogan died. And it's a video he had shot however long ago. And he's dressed up like Hulk Hogan. This is before he died. But he's like, I just want to play that. Hulk Hogan was a wrestling hero of mine. And rest in peace, Hulk Hogan and stupid Internet. Listen, as a wrestler, Hulk Hogan, one of the best ever. As a person, not a good dude. Some people can separate art and artist. And he wasn't going, hey, Hulk Hogan was the greatest guy. But then people were like, you're a racist. You're dressed up as Hulk Hogan in the gym. You're a racist. And he's like, what is happening now? In his live stream, he tried to defend that. He's not racist. Let me play you this. Go ahead.
Eddie
I've literally done videos against racism. I bought a black girl a gym.
Bobby Bones
Membership that was being discriminated. Daddy shouldn't have said. Daddy shouldn't have said.
Eddie
Why do you say that?
Amy
I know.
Bobby Bones
I'm going to tell you why. He feels painted into a corner.
Amy
Uncomfortable.
Bobby Bones
Yes. But that's always worse. I know, I agree.
Amy
I waved at a black person.
Bobby Bones
I know. I have black friends.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
I have black friends is never the way to go. I feel like he was just in such a place. He's just saying anything to get it to hit.
Amy
Oh, no.
Bobby Bones
I'd like to start by saying that is not how to respond to that. He continued. I. He dug himself, like, a little deeper with that one. And if you watched him, Morgan, don't you think he's like a good dude?
Amy
Yeah, but I do. I do not think how he has responded to all this has been great for him.
Bobby Bones
I think he should have had somebody help him respond because I don't think him dressing up as a Hulk Hogan costume and reposting that. I don't think that was a reason he should have had to apologize. No, where he got into trouble was him. First of all, this is my point of this whole thing. Never apologize. He didn't do anything wrong. As soon as you apologize, you're gonna give whatever little section of people already hated you so much bigger of a Runway to come in and just attack, attack. And it's going to feel like the whole world is against you when it's only a slight fraction. Like, I don't think Hulk was a good dude at all as a person, but I don't think there's anything wrong with saying literally one of the greatest wrestlers of our life. And I didn't know him as a person. And so, yeah, kind of crazy died because in my childhood, it's like Ryan Sandberg, the baseball player that died. I didn't know him. Turns out he's a pretty good dude. I didn't know him, but when he died, it made me sad because I knew the ballplayer version of him. So I thought people were mean to him in a way that wasn't fair to him. He should have never went on and apologized. You can know not to do something again on the Internet without going on and say I did wrong. Now if you do something real bad and you need to, like, have a job or something, you may have to apologize. Don't apologize.
Amy
Or you just want. Just move on with life genuinely, because.
Bobby Bones
Everybody else is going to move on on the Internet too. Just move on with life. So secondly, you don't do that. What he did. I bought a black girl gym membership.
Amy
And I've made anti racism videos before, so. Didn't he say that? Yeah, well, he also doubled down on it a lot further too.
Bobby Bones
Well, then he went on. Then he got quit social media. Hey, just don't apologize is my point. If you really did nothing wrong and you feel like you did nothing wrong, don't apologize. Don't apologize for the sake of you just apologizing so some people will then accept you. And you don't even care about those people anyway because they're never going to accept you to begin with.
Eddie
What about when they say, like, oh, why are you being quiet? Like, why are you not responding?
Bobby Bones
They're not. They move on. Everybody moves on with life. I don't think he needs to be canceled. But now after he said that stuff, he needs to take a whole break for a second.
Amy
Which he did. Right.
Bobby Bones
Like when I. Yeah, he said he's out. He said he's out for a little bit, but nobody's ever fully out.
Amy
No. He has quit social media entirely.
Bobby Bones
He'll be back. It's Zach Brown's birthday. How old do you think he is? Oh, it's kind of ageless to me. Like, I would guess 70 and also 30.
Eddie
Oh, I'm not 70.
Amy
No, but I'm just saying I don't.
Bobby Bones
I don't know how old he is. I mean, I'm looking at it here, but because he's got all the tattoos and like, sometimes he gets in super, like, thin shape, but then he gets really buff shape and like, he's got good hair. But then he's been around.
Amy
Oh, I don't know what his hair is.
Bobby Bones
Like, you can convince me of anything. His age.
Amy
Okay. 52, 47. Lower off.
Eddie
Oh, wow. I mean, that's older than I thought, so I thought like 42.
Bobby Bones
Oh, you thought younger?
Amy
Yeah, Bobby said between 30 and 70.
Bobby Bones
Dude.
Eddie
I'm like, I don't know about that.
Amy
Picked the middle.
Bobby Bones
I kind of hug Amy out to dry there. Grammy winning singer and songwriter. What do you think is number one most streamed song is? This is easy.
Amy
It is.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Eddie, chicken fries.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Oh, that's the most strange. Like. But what about. I love that one about the highway.
Bobby Bones
Okay, that's great. Well, you love. I'm telling you, the number one most streamed song, okay. It is birthday and I've. I've sat with Zach a bunch and so I have some clips of some stuff that I've learned about Zach. And he takes extreme pride in his songwriting and he's a very perfectionist. Very much perfectionist. And here he is going after some people for writing lazy songs.
Guest Speaker
But I hear songs on the radio all the time and I'm like, they're just making that rhyme. Like, if you care about every line of the song. If a song is your baby, it's like, to me, songwriting is like the last, like, real American form of poetry. So for me, the chase of a song is like, I never love a song more than right when we finish writing it, because you kind of forget what you did. You listen back to it, and you're like, oh, yeah, there it is. But I have a really good radar with, if that line's not good enough, the song's not done yet.
Bobby Bones
Next up, he got to start playing at small bars with no one watching. He was performing Chicken Fried for years before he ever recorded it.
Guest Speaker
Like, I was playing Chicken Fried in bars for years before we put it on an album. But I knew after playing that in front of 300 people a night on a Wednesday in a sports bar that it would work. I could tell by the reaction of what the people were doing. So they were the litmus test of, like, what's working and what's not. So six nights a week for 10 years, bro, just grinding my ass off, sleeping against the window of a truck. You know, hired a dude to drive me and pull my covered trailer around with our PA system and. And doing that. So I didn't know how other people did it. I didn't know there were rules or how it works or anything like that.
Bobby Bones
Here's Zach Brown talking about spear fishing and why it's peaceful to him.
Guest Speaker
For me, it's one of the activities when I'm doing that, when I'm diving down, there's no chatter. Chatter doesn't exist. So you're. You're only in that moment, and it's so primal, and you're so. Just connected to the ocean and nothing else, and you feel small in the greatest possible way. You're challenging your. Your breath, you're challenging the ocean, you're challenging the fish, you're challenging the weather. It's like. It's this whole thing.
Bobby Bones
Amy is such a hater. Look at her. She's, like, shaking her head no.
Eddie
What is it, Amy?
Amy
Challenging the ocean? I don't know. I just. I don't know. I can't. I don't know. I just know what you want to say. I don't know how I feel right now. I mean, you can't read. You can't believe everything you see, But I just am sort of like, if they're gonna. I wish we could know more about.
Bobby Bones
Because some listeners may not know what you're talking about.
Amy
The stuff that's going on with his ex wife and why she feels silenced like, she should be able to speak. And. And he kept the dog. Like, he kept the dog.
Bobby Bones
Is that part of the birthday segment here?
Amy
No, but he wanted her, allegedly.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
He wanted her to sign a marital NDA, and she refused. So then he wouldn't give her the dog. And, like, it was her dog, too. She named it, she said she raised it. And then she shouldn't get to keep the dog simply because she wouldn't sign the marital Indian NDA. And then. Why do you want someone to sign an NDA? What do you have to hide? You know, Happy birthday, Zach. And then she has all these legal fees.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. He gets one hour of exercise a day because Bruce Springsteen told him to.
Guest Speaker
Even Springsteen. I remember the time I talked to him, I was like, tell me something that's the most important thing that you can tell me for my career.
Bobby Bones
Like.
Guest Speaker
And his reply was, you need to sweat every day for an hour. I don't care what you do. Just go. Go find a. Find a place. Walk, run, workout, whatever it is. Sweat for an hour a day. And after he told me that, I was like, all right, he's a boss. I'm gonna do that.
Eddie
What a flex.
Bobby Bones
Anything else? It's just because he called him Springsteen, too. Like, out of nowhere. Yeah. He's like, yeah, I was having dinner last night with Trump and Obama, and we were just. Just like. Like, just says. It just moves on. Number one thing, we learned about Zach Brown from me interviewing him. He sleeps with a pee bottle by his bed.
Guest Speaker
I use a pee bottle through the night because I got used to doing that when I'm touring. Because you're riding. You know, we play three or four shows in a row, so I'm sleeping on my bus. The bus is going down the road. During that day, for my voice, I drank two gallons of water. So through the night, I'm gonna pee, like, two or three times. So I have to get my pee bottle right by the bed.
Bobby Bones
So you don't have to get.
Guest Speaker
And you pee in it.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Guest Speaker
If you get up on a moving bus and I have an overactive brain, anyway, you get up, you stub your toe, you bash your head in the wall. You're awake, and then it throws you off. So for people that have to do that, they make nice big ones with lids. So it's not. Doesn't stink, it doesn't spill. It's like, you know the deal.
Amy
Okay, interesting. I mean, if that's what it's like sharing a bed with him, imagine what's in the stuff that can't be talked about because he's outing himself about that. Can you imagine the first time, you know, you're like, you know, and he just like rolls over with his pee bottle.
Bobby Bones
I feel like Amy's gonna testify for the defendant in that divorce case.
Amy
But you know, I don't even know her. I've. Anytime I've interviewed Zach, wherever, like he's always been really nice. Like, I don't know. And I like Kendra. I'm happy for their engagement. I guess I just went down that rabbit hole with the ex wife and it seems. I feel bad for her, but who knows the truth.
Bobby Bones
Wise words.
Amy
Wise words.
Bobby Bones
Crazy attract crazy, right? They're probably, they were probably perfect for each other when they were together.
Amy
Yeah. And I know that everybody has their side to the story.
Bobby Bones
There are two songs.
Amy
I just wish she could say hers.
Bobby Bones
There are actually three. She has one, he has one and then there's one that actually happened. But we can't really hear hers because that's. Yeah, you know. Happy birthday, Zach. Zach Brown.
Amy
Happy birthday.
Bobby Bones
47 years old.

Sometimes it's hard to remember, but going.
Eddie
Through something like that is a traumatic experience, but it's also not the end of your life.
Podcast Announcer
That was my dad reminding me and so many others who need to hear it that our trauma is not our shame to carry and that we have big, bold and beautiful lives to live after what happened to us. I'm your host and co president of this organization, Dr. Leitra Tate. On my new podcast, the Unwanted Sorority, we wade through transformation to peel back healing and reveal what it actually looks like and sounds like in real time. Each week, I sit down with people who've lived through harm, carried silence, and are now reshaping the systems that failed us. We're going to talk about the adultification of black girls mothering as resistance, and the tools we use for healing. The Unwanted Sorority is a safe space, not a quiet space. So let's lock in. We're moving towards liberation together. Listen to the Unwanted Sorority. New episodes every Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
Amy
So what happened to Chappaquiddick? Well, it really depends on who you talk to.
Bobby Bones
There are many versions of what happened in 1969 when a young Ted Kennedy drove a car into a pond and.
Amy
Left a woman behind to drown. There's a famous headline, I think in the New York Daily News. It's teddy escapes, blonde drowns.

I'm Dr. Joy Harden Bradford and in session 421 of Therapy for Black Girls, I sit down with Dr. Aia and Billy Shaka to explore how our hair connects to our identity, mental health and the ways we heal.
Amy
Because I think hair is a complex language system, right, in terms of it can tell how old you are, your marital status, where you're from, your spiritual belief. But I think with social media there's like a hyper fixation and observation of our hair, right, that this is sometimes the first thing someone sees when we make a post or a reel. It's how our hair is styled.
Podcast Announcer
We talk about the important role hairstylists play in our community, the pressure to always look put together, and how breaking up with perfection can actually free us. Plus, if you're someone who gets anxious about flying, don't miss session 418 with Dr. Angela Neal Barnett, where we dive into managing flight anxiety. It's time for the good News with Bobby Dalton De Micelli, an eight year old Arizona Diamondback superfan, had an awesome night on Chase Field after he got to meet and spend time with some players. It was organized by the team and the staff at KPNX 12 News in Phoenix and they talked about how he had multiple procedures for a heart defect. And I do have some audio here. He got to meet his favorite player, who's Corbin Carroll. The team heard about him when the TikTok went viral and so here you go. Here's a clip of Dalton's mom, Krista and Corbin Carroll talking about the day.
Amy
He spent quality time with these guys.
Bobby Bones
Just to be able to do something special for him. It meant a lot. It was a great reminder of kind of power that we can have as.
Eddie
Athletes and the lives that we can touch.
Bobby Bones
Dalton's had multiple surgeries, was born with a congenital heart defect, has had three open heart surgeries. Again, he's eight years old. Wow, man, imagine your kid going through all of that. That's crazy. Big shout out to Corbin Carroll and the Diamondbacks and the family and that news station for making it happen. That is what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good.
Amy
Wake up.
Bobby Bones
You wake up in the morning and you turn the radio on. And the dial just keeps on turning his wigs. Next bit. And Bobby's on the mic.
Amy
So you know what this is?
Bobby Bones
We have 90 seconds to get as many jokes right as possible. Amy, ready? All right. Investigative corny. Let's go. The morning corny.
Amy
What kind of cheese is the most introverted?
Bobby Bones
Shy?
Amy
Provolone.
Bobby Bones
Oh, good.
Amy
Wow.
Bobby Bones
How'd you get that? So mind blown.
Amy
Okay. Why do they do yoga at the moment? Morg.
Bobby Bones
Dead people are stretching. Morg.
Eddie
Yoga. Dead dog. What are some of the yoga poses?
Bobby Bones
Downward cat.
Eddie
Cow.
Bobby Bones
They're good at Savasa.
Eddie
Downward. The morgue. Downward dog. No.
Bobby Bones
I know, like, three dinner. Saa.
Eddie
Say it again, Amy.
Amy
Why do they do yoga at the morgue?
Bobby Bones
I don't know enough about yoga.
Eddie
I don't know much about the morgue.
Bobby Bones
Is there a dead man's pose? Dead man.
Eddie
Floating. They're close to the ground.
Bobby Bones
Under the ground.
Eddie
Lay down.
Bobby Bones
We say it again.
Amy
Why did they do yoga at the morg.
Eddie
Is this a bad joke?
Bobby Bones
Are you reading it again? You made me feel less 10. Cuz you. You judged us with that giggle.
Amy
Oh, it's just.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, like.
Eddie
Like, it shouldn't be that far.
Bobby Bones
Like. Like, maybe it is. They're good at laying down.
Amy
Why did they do yoga at the morgue? Now you know savasana is considered dead man's pose.
Eddie
Okay, so they're doing the.
Bobby Bones
They're doing the dead man's pose.
Amy
That's not a hint, though.
Bobby Bones
Oh, why do they do yoga at the. Okay. Why do you do yoga?
Eddie
To relax.
Bobby Bones
Relax.
Eddie
To stretch.
Bobby Bones
Stretch. Yeah, cuz you're tight. Clear your mind. They're tight. They're stiff.
Eddie
They're about to die.
Amy
Yeah. Cuz all the stiffs.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Oh, okay. We'll take.
Eddie
Good job, dude.
Bobby Bones
I don't know that I actually got it. Go ahead.
Amy
That's at the time.
Eddie
Wow.
Bobby Bones
We got two.
Amy
That's pretty good.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. That's tough, though. We don't really know anything about yoga.
Eddie
And we had such a strong start again.
Bobby Bones
That's okay. We should have got that.
Amy
I think y' all were gonna get provolone out of the gate, so I.
Bobby Bones
Don'T know that I would have got that.
Amy
Imagine my surprise when that happened. And so I thought, well, surely, who knows, maybe someone will just be like because of all the stiffs. But y' all weren't.
Bobby Bones
No. Then she judges with a question.
Eddie
She's like, yoga in the morgue.
Bobby Bones
All right, hit it.
Eddie
Clear eyes, full hearts.
Bobby Bones
Can't lose. By the way, Morgan sat down with Runaway June as part of her impossible interview series. Here's a little bit of Runaway June. Buy my own drinks. And she asked him if they could change anything from the past 10 years, what would that be? And Jennifer Wayne stepped up and said this.
Amy
I don't want to change anything because I have my daughter who's three years old. But I always thought, you know, if I got pregnant, I would lose my record deal, and I couldn't do this job anymore. So I waited a long time, and I had her really late in life. I would probably consider having kids earlier, but then I wouldn't have her, so I can't change it. You know, I would also change her dad, but I can't change that either because she's here because of him.
Bobby Bones
So. That's funny.
Amy
Unfortunately.
Bobby Bones
No, that's a good answer. Yeah, she would change her dad.
Eddie
Yeah, that's really funny.
Bobby Bones
Thanks to impossible Foods for making the impossible possible. You can check out Morgan's full interview with Runaway June on our YouTube channel. Search for the Bobby Bone show, which, by the way, if you haven't tried, like, the impossible Chicken Chef's kiss, It's great. I don't even think you would know if I told you. You would know, but I don't think you would know. I don't think you know. Okay. Thank you. Bobby Bone Show Bonehead story of the day. This story comes to us from Brooksville, Florida, around 8:30am Police get a call. 9, 1 1. What's your emergency? Yeah, I'd like to report a guy driving on the highway on his lawnmower, swerving all over the place. Like, are you sure it's a guy on the lawnmower? Yeah. Police responded. Guy was on his riding lawnmower on the highway. He said, I was partying, needed to get home, and I didn't want to drink and drive. Yeah, what people don't realize is you're still driving.
Amy
Yeah, any motorized thing.
Bobby Bones
George Jones, like, he wanted to get the liquor store.
Eddie
How fast does rabbit go on one of those things?
Bobby Bones
Five, five miles per hour, probably five to seven.
Eddie
That's funny.
Bobby Bones
If you put in rabbit. Yeah, yeah. Turtle two.
Eddie
Oh, yeah. So slow.
Bobby Bones
All right, I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day. Bones report fresh from the cdc, has revealed that a pizza joint accidentally laced and they say pies, but some people call pies pizza.
Eddie
Pizza pie.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I don't know if it's a real pie or a pizza. I assume it's a pizza. But they laced it with THC oil. Yeah. Famous Yeti's Pizza in Stone, Wisconsin was forced to apologize after 85 customers experienced symptoms consistent with THC intoxication after eating 85.
Eddie
So that means that they made a.
Bobby Bones
Whole batch or multiple. I'm gonna assume it's pizzas.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Right?
Amy
Yeah, yeah. It's gotta be pizza pie.
Bobby Bones
You ever call it a pie though? Because where we're from, it's not really a pie.
Amy
No, but I mean, I think in the pizza place where they really make. Oh, this is yummy.
Bobby Bones
Die, Mario.
Eddie
I love it when people.
Bobby Bones
You do?
Eddie
Oh, it's so cool. I don't call it that, but it's cool to hear people say that.
Bobby Bones
I hate thick crust pizza.
Amy
Like deep dish.
Eddie
Yeah, dude. Like pan pizza.
Bobby Bones
Let me, let me rephrase. Compared to thin crust, I hate it.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Compared to nothing, I like it.
Amy
Yes.
Eddie
That's a good way of putting it.
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
But if it's the two super thin, this is how you can tell I didn't grow up around real pizza. Is that I love thin crust Pizza Hut pizza or just thin crust, super thin crust. Anything. Because I want to get full off all that bread. Because then you can't eat as many pieces of pizza. And I love my pie. Who doesn't? Anyway, a bunch of people apparently got high or sick. Customers ranging from 1 to 91 years old.
Eddie
Yeah, that's the kids.
Amy
Oh, the one. Yeah, that's where the problem. Because I'm like, well, you know, improved.
Eddie
Mood, feeling good after a pie.
Bobby Bones
How do you know a one year old feels weird though?
Eddie
What do you mean?
Bobby Bones
They can't talk to you, but they're feeling it.
Eddie
You know they're feeling it.
Amy
Well, you can see maybe if they're.
Bobby Bones
Really relaxed about a thing. Cuz every little thing, baby. How did you learn that song? They were experiencing dizziness, sleepiness, anxiety. Seven people had to be taken to the hospital.
Amy
Okay, that's.
Bobby Bones
How about the 91 year old? Like just chill one. It all happened in late October of last year, but this is just now becoming a story. The CDC put it out and they have issued a Facebook post and apologized. Yeah, that's tough. Also, did someone not realize their THC oil was gone? Like I would think that would be valuable.
Eddie
Or did they do it on purpose?
Bobby Bones
Or did they do it? Oh, I don't think they did on purpose.
Eddie
You think so?
Bobby Bones
No. That's good stuff. Why would you waste that to people who don't.
Eddie
I was thinking that too. Like that would be a huge waste.
Amy
Yeah. Like what kind of bottle is it in? Because I'm sure the bottle doesn't look like the olive oil or whatever they were trying to put on there.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I feel like it'd be like a smiley face emoji, but the eyes are slant. Like, hey, Yeah. I feel like somebody's upset that their THC oil got used. And then they were like, oh, no. Now I can't even say anything about it because I wasn't supposed to have it up here at work anyway because that's. They'd probably get in trouble. Yeah. Atlanta police say they cannot process citations for driverless cars. So all the wayos get away with traffic laws. Violating traffic laws?
Amy
Well, yeah. I mean, what are they going to do if they get a.
Eddie
Well, you can ticket the controller, right? Like, I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Who do you take it? The company?
Eddie
I mean.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah, but you just send bills to the company and then. But what if they don't pay, though? You can't really put a warrant out for their arrest.
Amy
Well, you can say you can't have your cars on the road.
Bobby Bones
You think they're going to do that when they're paying a bunch of taxes into a city? I mean. No. Or not. Those people are paying pretty.
Amy
We can't be lawless around this.
Bobby Bones
No, I know, but there's got to be some. That something like there's got to be like, a local person. Like, this will set a good precedent. Like somebody local they can go to to get paid or they start finding the city version of it more. But that's kind of funny that you really can't pull one over and give them a ticket.
Eddie
No, it's not gonna pull over.
Bobby Bones
Put your hands on the wheel. Wait. What the heck?
Eddie
There's no one's there.
