It depends. Rich people have rich friends.

Most rich people hang out with people or most people in general. You hang out with people that have a similar situation as you or it gets uncomfortable. It doesn't matter what where you are. If you're super poor, medium, or super rich, like, most of your friends are the same. Ish.

Okay. Yeah. Because I was thinking, like, they all looked younger. And so I felt like those were his college buddies that, like, he just kept in touch with. And he was like, let's go have a yacht.

I don't know that he didn't pay for it, but I'm saying he definitely has rich friends, too. I mean, look at him. All his peers in the NFL are all super rich. Those are his friends.

You know what's weird is that I feel like as far as my life goes, I'm probably in about as good a shape as I've ever been in. Maybe not the tip tip top, but I'm up there in, like, the top 5% of the shape I've ever been in. That being said, there's a difference in walking upstairs shape and being in great shape. Like, I feel like if I'm gonna work out for an hour hard, no problem if I just walk up these stairs one flight here before I walk in the studio.

I played pickleball nonstop. Cut sprints. And I have better stamina than most people. I play against one flight of stairs. I'm walking there.

Steep, but it's only one flight. We park in the garage. Tim meets me outside. We walk in, I walk up. One little thing, two little things. I walk in and just start reading commercials, like, before we start the show. And I'm like this so sleep number, and I have to, like, stop and catch my breath from one flight of stairs.

It's got to be allergies, huh? Like, it's gotta be, like, something with seasonal allergies. Yeah.

It's weird because I wrote downstairs and I didn't think about it again until she talked about how she tried that and we're all getting older. But then it's just weird because again, I can go hard, but I can't walk up a flight of steps without being out of breath. It's a different in shape. All right, next one. You excited about it at all? Nope.

Not at all. I'm scared because I started thinking, like, all right, like, I can probably easily do five, Right. In an hour.

Do you think you're gonna try to get ahead?

Get ahead, like, in, like, two, three hours, 15 or something.

What I was thinking was. I was just thinking about that this morning. Like, okay, if I can do 30 in 12 hours, which would that be Going hard, like, just going early, then I can just relax a little bit, eat 10 at my own pace, and then 10 more, and then that last 10 is where I'm gonna be like, you're short 10.

You're still, oh, I need 40 left.

And then Friday has a plan to go to bed early, wake up early on Saturday, eat a good breakfast. I think she has to be at the test at 7:30 and they said if you're a minute late, you can't take it.

Yeah, you don't get there 7:30, you put it in your phone that you need to get there at 7:10.

Yeah.

So then if something does happen because.

You can't miss, we're getting there early.

So I have a lot of questions. How many times can she take it if she were to take it this time, all before she graduates?

Oh, good question. I don't know. I mean, I think she could take it. I mean, I took The SAT three times.

Right. But I'm saying if she took this because she's a summer now in her senior year, she's going into her senior year next year. She could probably take it, what, three more times next year.

Maybe she could.

My advice to people would be take it as early as you can, because it's more so about one not being nervous for it and not putting all the pressure on yourself to have to kill it. Because if you wait till your senior year, it's like, oh, God, everything's going into this. And so if you're able to do it. I like that she's doing it before senior year. I. I took it in ninth grade.

Because I never even took the act, so I don't.

Yeah, you have to. Taking that test is about learning how they're going to give you the test. Probably what the questions are going to be about, specifically. More so than learning all the math they could possibly ask.

It's a strategy of what you think the presentation is going to be, somewhat predicting it based on models that they have and practice tests that they have.

Which is what I mean. She's doing specific ACT prep this year.

For sure. For sure. You can take practice tests that are probably almost exactly like you're going to get. Not the same exact questions, but about the same exact things. But take it and take it a bunch because you'll feel more comfortable every single time you do it. No, I took it in 9th grade and then 11th grade twice my senior year. Twice.

Oh, my God. So you took it five times.

What is wrong with you?

I took it in ninth grade. I made a 24. So I had a scholarship to any university in Arkansas at 24 or at 9th grade.

Okay, and then what'd you get? What's your highest score?

I think 30.

30, 31, something like that. I didn't hit like 35 or 36. Those were the perfect kids. But I felt really good because I got my school paid for.

But I think I got a 30. I don't know what the criteria is now on what is in state tuition and what. But what does she. What's her goal?

I don't take it. I don't know. I haven't asked her her goal. I guess I could ask her that today. Well, maybe she doesn't need one right now.

The goal might be the first time just to do it.

I don't want to be a helicopter parent. Like maybe it'd be good for her to have to navigate the parking and figure out how to do that.

I mean I would like to be dropped off places all the time now.

So have you been following the story about this couple that went to Turks and Caicos in June? I think it was like June 25th, they're in Turks and Caicos, they're celebrating like some kind of anniversary or something. And then the wife wakes up at 7am and realizes her husband's just not there. Like, doesn't know where he is. So she calls the cops. They figure it all out. They look at the security camera and at 4am he walks out of the condo and like heads to the street and he goes missing. Well, just like two days ago, they found a body. They're not saying that it's his, but they're kind of saying that it's his. The news is like, they found a body that resembles everything about him. But the officials are technically saying, like, we don't want to jump to conclusions yet. Like, yes, it's kind of the shoes he was wearing. Yes, it's the shorts he was wearing. But we don't know yet.

But it's kind of strange theory. I haven't heard the story, so all this is new to me. What's the working theory?

[Eddie]

That's it. There's no theory. Like, the only thing is he left his passport at home, he took his cell phone with him and that's it. He just walked and he was found 20, like a, like a 20 minute walk away from where he was staying.

Authorities in Turks and Caicos are working to determine if a decomposing body found in a bay is the missing New Yorker they've been looking for. The family of Brian Terrace hired a PI to help with the search. Terrence and his wife Maria had planned on spending seven days in paradise. The couple left their home in Manhattan for what was supposed to be a relaxing one year anniversary celebration. But when Maria woke up, couldn't find her husband, she knew something was up. One of the last images is him. Security camera outside the villa where he was staying at the paradise inn. Taken at 3:40am on Wednesday, June 25. He's alone. His family has since hired. Again. I've known this story for 45 seconds, but I am looking at the pictures and looking at the video. It looks to me like the guy just went for a walk. He's in athletic wear, tennis shoes, shorts. It looks like he's just going for a walk in the middle of the night. Or if I'm like super, like I don't know his background or like maybe going to buy some drugs or something.

And that could also have happened and that could have been a thing turned bad. But I feel like whatever he was doing, it was something that turned bad. Yeah. Otherwise you think she killed him.

Not once did I think that she killed him.

When they disappear, my first thought was she's like, I don't know where he went. And I'm like, yes, you do.

Well, and her story is funny too, because it's like she woke up at like 2 in the morning, he was watching TV and she's like, oh, come to bed. He's like, now I'm gonna stay up a little longer. Then she went back to bed, Woke up at 7, he's gone.

Yeah. Looking at the picture because he looks like he put some a bit of time into his clothes. It wasn't like he's like wasted and stumbling in jeans and a wet part of a shirt's wet because he's so messed up. He's in a T shirt and shorts at like 4 in the morning. Running shoes and socks. So it looks like.

Could he have been going for a run? Because four in the morning, if he's in New York, like depending on what does he do for business, maybe he's used to getting up early and working out.

He either was going out to do something and went wrong or he's going out to do something bad. And it Went wrong.

You have to get a money order or a check.

Who has checks? So I had to go to the.

Grocery store, pay with a card. Debit card?

It had to be a money order or check. So I had to go to the grocery store and ask for a money order, Which I'm like, how does this even work? So I did a money order, and then they, like. They take my birth certificate. I'm like, oh, we're gonna need those birth certificates back. And they're like, no, actually, we. We keep them, send them off, and they'll mail them back to you. I'm like, now I don't have my birth certificate.

That's. That's true. I remember that part.

That's stressful. Like, I've never parted with my birth certificate.

When do you ever use it? It's only stressful to you because you're thinking, oh, what if? But that what if has actually never happened.

Oh, this makes sense. They require check or money order for security and administrative reasons because it leaves a clear audit trail so they can track payments and prevent fraud and error. Like, if you pay with cash, it's not like a documented.

Yeah. Because some people think Tom Brady is not as good looking as you. So some people could want you to interview.

So did you go? You just didn't go because Eddie didn't have a passport.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. Because it was gonna be like, we're gonna go play golf. We're gonna do a whole thing. It's like, if we're gonna go over to Europe, we'll just make it a trip. And he's like, oh, no passport.

[Eddie]

Well, better late than never. It's coming.

[Bobby Bones]

Dude, this art is gonna be dead.

[Eddie]

Yeah, maybe.

[Bobby Bones]

Well, no, he'll be in America, though, too.

Well, then why don't we just go there?

Because it was. The whole point was we got invited to go overseas and we were gonna play golf.

Yeah.

And it was gonna be a whole trip. And then I was like, eddie, let's do this. And he's like, I still don't have my passport. So then we weren't able to do it.

[Eddie]

That's weird, man. I remember when I was younger and I go to Mexico City, like, with my family.

[Bobby Bones]

Oh, you have been in Mexico City.

[Eddie]

Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

Motherland.

[Eddie]

Yeah, that's. I mean, kind of motherland. But Espana is the real motherland. But we just needed a birth certificate. Back in the day. You just land and be like, birth certificate. Here you go. And then we're good. But I guess somewhere in the middle, passports became the thing.

[Bobby Bones]

But I was like, oh, we should just get something for women of I Heart Country. So I pop up there, and then I'm stepping down. And Eddie goes, I need one for dads of I Heart Country. And I was like, what?

[Eddie]

It's a joke.

[Amy]

I know it's a joke.

[Bobby Bones]

And then he's, like, draped on.

[Lunchbox]

And I didn't go for it. Cause I didn't want to be the creep.

[Eddie]

Lately I've just been thinking, like, I need to like a lot of these new artists. I don't have pictures of them. Like, I Have pictures with Dierks Bentley and, like, Ronnie Dunn and all that stuff. But I don't have Ella Langley, Morgan Wallen. If he comes in, I'm getting a picture. Luke Combs. When he came in, I was like, oh, I don't have a Luke Combs. When I got to get Luke Combs. So that's just my thinking. Like, Ella. I feel like I need a picture with Ella at some point. So I was like, that was my moment right there. But the touchy thing, she started it.

[Bobby Bones]

I wasn't going to. They're naturally conditioned that people are going to grab them, but I really wasn't.

[Eddie]

And then she put her arm around me. I was like, all right, cool. Do a pose.

[Amy]

You went around top.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. You were draining.

[Eddie]

She went under.

[Amy]

Yeah, But I went. I went under with her, but all of a sudden, we're two girls. But we went under. Under. She went under. You went over, like.

[Eddie]

Well, yeah, I just went shoulder. That's kind of how I always do it.

[Amy]

Dads of.

[Eddie]

That was funny. You're like, oh, I need one for women in my heart. I was like, I need one for dads of my heart.

[Bobby Bones]

I forget to take a picture sometimes. And Morgan was like, bobby, get up. Take a picture. Because they posted stuff on Social. I'm like, oh, yeah, yeah. But as soon as I step on stage, my hands go in my pocket.

[Eddie]

It feels weird for me to do that. Like, it just feels weird to put my hands in front and then just, like, stand next to a person.

[Bobby Bones]

But it didn't feel weird for you to jump up and go, dad's Vihard country. And then drape over now.

[Eddie]

Because that was just the joke. Like, that was.

[Bobby Bones]

Nobody got the joke.

[Eddie]

Amy did. She's like, what did you just say?

[Amy]

I was like, oh, gosh. Okay. Well, I was just making sure that she knew I wasn't, like, making something up. I mean, but she knows because she's done stuff for Women of my Heart country before. Which, actually, the last time she was in, we did this little video, and it was doing okay. And then, I don't know, something happened, and it popped off, and it has over a million views.

[Bobby Bones]

Really?

[Amy]

And all I was. We just made, like. I made some joke of, like, Ella's teaching me.

[Bobby Bones]

She's kind of popped off, though.

[Amy]

I guess that's what happened is.

[Bobby Bones]

I'll give you one more story before we go. So this is a lunchbox story. I've almost told it a couple times. Went to the batting cages to hit some balls because of the home Run derby thing in Atlanta this weekend. And so I go, and I've said it before, One of my really good friends is Brett Eldridge, the singer. So Brett and I go together. And so we get there, and we can't get in where they have a machine shooting balls at us. So we're just throwing to each other. There's a. Like, a part of the cage where you can put up the. The.

[Eddie]

It's like a guard.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. And you throw pictures.

[Eddie]

Guard.

[Bobby Bones]

So. So Brett's throwing to me, I'm throwing to him. We're like, almost hitting each other like we should. Our arms aren't in shape to do this, and. But we're there for, like, an hour and a half. We're both hitting balls, and in the pitching area next to us, this kid who's probably 13 years old goes, hey, are you by Bones? And I was like, yeah, I am. He goes, can I come over there and get a picture with you? I'm like, yeah, sure. Come on over. So he comes over, and he gives the camera to Brett and says, here, thank you. And so Brett takes a picture of us. Brett doesn't care. Like, Brett has no relationship with wanting to be famous. He's the opposite. But what I thought was funny was the kid hands the camera to Brett. Brett takes a picture, and he goes. And he's walking off. He goes, you lunchbox?

[Eddie]

To Brett.

[Bobby Bones]

He thought he gave Lunchbox the camera to take a picture.

[Eddie]

No, dude, he was going to make you take the picture anyway. You're not understanding.

[Bobby Bones]

Wait, it's a double side. He thought he gave the phone to lunchbox, take the camera. But then he thought Brett was Lunchbox.

[Eddie]

That's funny.

[Bobby Bones]

And, like, Brett was like, no, I'm not Lunchbox. And then later, I got a DM from the mom of the kid going, hey, my son met you, and he feels totally stupid. He didn't realize it was Brett Eldridge.

[Eddie]

That's funny.

[Bobby Bones]

It. Yeah. Anyway, that's the story.

[Amy]

Funny, funny.

[Lunchbox]

That's pretty funny.

[Bobby Bones]

How does that make you feel?

[Lunchbox]

Feels good. I mean, people are always thinking about me.

[Bobby Bones]

I do that with dudes, too, though. Now, unless I'm, like, close friends with them, I'm not gonna touch you guys. Tough. Just, like, if they grab me, it's hard to not. So if somebody puts their arm on me, then I'll. But I'm never gonna make the first move. Now it feels like dating. I'm never.
