And then I can't. I can't pee standing up because I lose my balance. And so I had to pee sitting down, but both stalls were closed. Like, people were in them when I got there. And then I walk in. Scuba finally leaves. Like, after, like, half an hour, I know he's doing it there. And then it was the handicap stall. And I'm like, leave the handicap stall open.

[Eddie]

Right?

I felt awkward. I'm like, I never been. I've never been, I guess, accosted or confronted by somebody who is handicapped while using the handicapped stall. He walks on. I'm right there on him, just waiting. And it was a handicap stall, so I get it. Oh, man. Leave the handicap stall open. I'm sorry, dude. No, it's all right. My foot is kind of slightly down at an angle. Getting that real.

And it's Helvig Cussing. Well, Kat's a therapist. She was talking about some research that showed that cussing tends to mean someone is willing to be more authentic with who they are. So you can trust someone who.

But then she also said, this isn't.

Like, hey, what the. What the f?

No, but it also doesn't. It's not a blanket statement. It makes me curse.

F you. That means I don't not cuss because I don't like cussing. I do it so I don't slip up and cuss in a place that I don't want to cuss. And secondly, I didn't want to write jokes or books and insert curse words as a crutch. So that was all just not about me as a person. I don't think there's any more or less integrity with cursing or Honesty. I think professionally, I didn't feel like it was in my best interest talking about that in your little stupid effing podcast.

No, but at the very end of the clip, she says, just because you don't cuss it, it doesn't mean you're a liar.

What if I say F? Yeah, that count?

Yeah, well, that's the thing, like on TikTok, where I guess we're reaching all these people that, like, don't. But all the comments, like, there's 2,630 comments, and most of them are F. Yeah.

Oh, that's funny.

Or like, oh, I effing knew this, like, every other. So we're like, oh. And then Kat, she's a therapist. That's her profession. And so she doesn't really have the desire to go viral because it freaks her out. Because she's like, oh, what if people take something the wrong way? And we hadn't sourced her research, like, where she got it from? So she's like texting me, she's like, can you add this source to the caption? Because I need them to know legit. So to source it. She said it came from. Frankly, we do give a damn. The relationship between.

Another bad word.

The relationship between profanity and honesty. And that was where the research came from. So she just. Because some people were like, what? What does this mean? Stupid? And she's like, wait, wait, wait.

No, no, you can't. Here's the rule about going viral. Never look at the comments once something goes viral, because all that's happening is the platform you're on. It then becomes a pedestal that is lifted. And the higher your pedestal is lifted, the more people see it, the more people there are, the more dumb people there are. So it's just a numbers game. If something goes viral, never look in the comments. Like, right now, I'm going a bit viral myself. I got even just this morning. New York Post did a story. E did a story. People magazine did a story on me. And I refused to get into the comments because I know that the higher that the pedestal rises, the more people see it. The more people that see it, the more dumb people there are. Just in that people. I think there's a percentage of dumb people regardless. But if you have a. If you have 50 people looking, probably got three dumb people. If you have 10 million people looking, then you've got, you know, 30,000 dumb people. And they all want to, like, have something to say. So it's not that the more viral you get, the more dumb people There are, like, percentage wise, it's just the more people, the more people, the more dumb people. So that's what's up. So I've not looked at any comments about. Because I posted a video yesterday, and I was like, hey. Kind of got my feelings hurt. And it's mostly because I love Tom Bergeron and still love Tom Bergeron. And I watched the interview he did where he was like, oh, Bobby winning. And I was like, that hurt my feelings a little bit. And I was like, man, I don't understand what I was supposed to do when I was on Dancing with the Stars. Because I wasn't, like, somebody who cheated or manipulated the rules or. Or got in trouble. Like, I literally just showed up, wasn't that good, got a lot better won and the end. And, like, it was a real joyous time for me. But every year I just get attacked. Merciful, merciful, mercilessly, whatever the word is. It's constant, and so it doesn't bother. You have to have thick skin to do this job. And I have very thick skin. And. But when Tom Bergeron did, I was like, dang, I like Tom. That sucks. And so I posted a video. I was like, hey, my feelings are hurt. Wham. Whammy. And then I'm gonna send the Maribel trophy back. Cause I don't like looking at it. It made me feel good. And so, yeah, that's blown up. And it's kind of funny that it's blown up.

So you, like, legit? For real? For real. Mailed it back.

[Bobby Bones]

It's gone. I want it to be dramatic. It's how to be dramatic.

Well, what are you gonna do if they send it back, then?

Yeah, because I'm. I'm. I'm like, damn, Ella comes back. Why do you. I. I didn't think you should send it back. Like, you deserve you. You earned that. So, like, why send it back?

It just doesn't feel good when you see it. What do you. It doesn't feel good. So I was like, yeah, I'm gonna send it back.

I have it. Yeah, I Have the actual box they gave it to me in. Like, it fits perfectly. Oh. And so I. Yeah, they've really, like, soured that for me. But I never said anything bad in the video about anybody. I don't know if you guys saw the video.

Did you say some people close to you have taken shots?

And I was like, that was you, Amy? Yep. It was definitely.

Yep. You know, what did I do? And if you're feeling guilty about it right now, it's. You say you're close to me from the show. People I knew from this show.

My point is, is that don't look at comments if something starts to blow up, because you're just going to have people like. And. And I. I want to fight people when I get into comments because it's not real and I don't mind confrontation in any aspect of life. I don't search for it. But I'm also on the old Enneagram and eight Challenger.

I love mixing it up. And so.

I think the titty baby in me mailed the trophy back, but the eight in me is like, ready to challenge anybody.

It really isn't that dramatic of a thing.

No. Because anytime. It's not that dramatic. What? Again, I'm gonna say a couple things. One, I've been on pain medicine. Two, I've been holed up in my house. I'm sure that's affected seasonal depression's hit. Because now the weather's wrong. That's the truth.

Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

It's like every year I just. For like two months, regardless of who's on that show. That is like the bad dancer. They don't really take it out on them as much as they always come back and take it out on me. So I open my feed and it's just constantly, every year about this time, you know, who sucked? Bobby, you know, sucked Bob you know, didn't deserve to win. And I'm like, bro, I ain't do nothing.

Your analogy of, like, it's like the 9th grade dancers just picking on the 6th grader and shoving me in a.

[Bobby Bones]

Locker over and over again.

That was a good way to put it because. Yeah. You're not traditionally one of them.

No, definitely not. In many ways, I'm not from la. I'm not an actor. I'm not traditionally. I live in the south, didn't know how to dance. But also, there was an advantage that I had of all of our listeners. And I don't think people get that. People are, like, the people's champion. No, we have a very dedicated group of people that relate to us and roll with us, and that's what it was. So. But also, I wasn't. I watched all the videos back. I'm doing a series on my YouTube page, which is at Bobby Bones Channel. I wasn't as bad as I thought I was because I never watched them back. And so, yeah, I sent it back. That's it. I like how it made me feel. And what does she say? If it doesn't make you feel good, throw it out. I don't know the person on Netflix. It was like arranging stuff.

I still have that in my heart. And I don't think that anything happened where I feel lesser. I won that freaking show. And I won by the biggest margin between first and second place in the history of the show. And that's awesome. But, you know, it's a physical thing. And, you know, my contribution was, I'm gonna get this out of my house, put it in a box, mail it back. Dude, I don't even know where I sent it. I just found an address online and sent it to abc. If somebody's gonna open a box in some room and be like, what the crap secretary?

I. But I. After I posted the video, because I rarely watch anything back before I post it, which sometimes is good. Sometimes it's bad. I went and watched it back, and I was like, oh, I don't hate what I said. I don't think in any way I came off as aggressive or mean or that that show did anything I said. I loved it. It's just since then, there's been some of the joy that's been taken away because every time I see anything about it, it's people just bashing me, and I'm like, I don't like that. Like, I did nothing. I didn't fight to be on the show. I didn't try to be on the show. They asked me to be on the show. They encouraged me heavily to be on the show because I was on American Idol at the time, and I did it, and I loved the freaking experience. It was awesome, and the people were awesome. And Tom Bergeron was my favorite person on the whole show. That's why it hurt, because he was like, the guy that was like, my guy. And so when he's out going, ooh. And then I saw him try to, like, pivot out, and he was like, Well, I was saying the judge. No, he didn't say that. But it doesn't matter. I still love Tom Bergeron. I think he's a freaking goat. And so I have nothing bad to say about anybody or anything. I just don't like how it made me feel. So I sent it back. I had a message it wasn't that anybody did anything wrong. It was that my feelings were hurt. That was it. So that's what's up.

But Death in the Family, that's the drama series on Hulu. I recommend it. Even if you've watched the documentaries on it. It's. It gives you a little bit more. And obviously they take some of their own things, like there's creative liberty to some stuff just because they're trying to be entertaining. So you have to keep that in mind. But Buster Murdoch is the kid that is still alive. So the dad is in jail for murdering the mom and the other son. Their other son, Buster. I was reading an article on People.com this morning that he literally still thinks his dad is innocent. Like, he does not think his dad shot his mom and brother.

Can I do counterpoint? Sure. Sometimes we find out that because of what the media has led us to think, we were wrong. I don't know. I don't think I'm wrong. Also, I gotta admit, I never really followed the case except for you guys talking about it like it was one that started. And it's not that I didn't care. It was just so beyond me. I didn't feel like getting super invested. But there are times now and I'm starting to second guess everything just a little more.

And go, man. There have been some real instances of me being wrong. Like, I don't think Michael Jackson molested young boys.

I just. I don't. And I did for a long time because of how he was portrayed. I think he was weird. And I think he was weird because of how he was raised. I don't think he molested young boys.

And I think I was just like, yeah, for sure he did it. But that's just an example. And there's like four or five of those. And he might have and probably did or maybe didn't.

Like, they'd be. He'd have nothing. That he set up with a former client of his to shoot him while he was on the side of the road changing a tire. But the point is, he was supposed to kill him, but then he didn't die. He got shot in the head and didn't die. So his son Buster didn't get the $10 million life insurance payout, and then.

He still got shot.

Yeah. And then the guy that crazy and the guy that he hired to shoot him also now in jail, I'd be.

[Eddie]

Like, so what's the story? Because I remember the boat accident. I remember all that. But what's the story of. Of the dad killing mom and son?

Okay, so I think that. I mean, the dad was on. Speaking of pain pills, the dad was on so many.

[Bobby Bones]

He sent his mariball back.

He was on so many pain pills, and then he was drinking with it as well. Obviously, his life. His life was in shambles anyways. Like, he was a dirty businessman to begin with. And then his son. It's almost like his son getting in the boating accident just was like the straw that broke the camel's back, because everything just started kind of coming to light.

That's exactly what happened, according to Ray, because Ray was all in on this. But I think they were doing discovery during that trial, and he was like, I'm gonna get found out. So he had to kill his son. So that way they would stop that trial. Like, it would go away. Like, boom, that's over. And then boom.

So I would say, yeah, yeah, yeah, like that part. I think it's likely that he did it. But you're right, because in the documentary, you even see a moment where a journalist was trying to pin the murder of this Scott Peterson, homosexual kid in the.

You said homosexual. Weird. You said it like somebody from Designing Women back in the 90s.

I was going to say gay guy, but then I felt like, are you a homosexual?

Okay, maybe they referenced it like Daisy Carter saying homosexual. Yeah.

So they were trying to pin that on. That the Murdaughs were part of a cover up for how this kid died. And I don't know that that was the case, but you start to believe that just because they're such a shady.

Family that they were like, there's now. And Scott Peterson was found guilty, but there is now, like, real stuff that makes you think he didn't do it.

[Amy Brown]

I'm not upon, cuz I don't believe anything. He's guilty. He's been found guilty. He's guilty. But I fully just saw him on the magazine was like, that dude for sure is guilty. Yeah, there's been some new stuff. There's been, like, new, like, docu stuff that's come out. I think it was him. A lot of people.

He's the one that went fishing.

And then they found her body in the lake.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. Can I read? Mike? I'm gonna read this. It's kind of hard to read this. Leaning back. The Los Angeles Innocence Project, and they don't get involved with things that they don't feel passionately about. We know this from a few different cases have petitioned in April of 2025 presenting new evidence, and they argued that Peterson's 2004 conviction was based on circumstantial evidence that should be overturned. The petition claims that new evidence suggests Laci Peterson was still alive after Scott Peterson left home on the day she disappeared, and that a series of burglaries were linked to her death. The petition also accuses the original investigation of having flaws and withholding evidence. And if they find that's the case, there was evidence withheld so they could, for whatever political reason, get a guilty verdict, throw it all out, and start all over.

[Eddie]

Because there were burglaries, right?

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah.

I mean, maybe, but people are also found guilty. And they're not guilty at times, too, because of reasons like we're not giving all the evidence. And look at almost what happened in that Massachusetts case where the snow car. Wasn't that called the big snow car murder?

They would have found her so guilty. She would have been guilted out of her freaking mind had people not said, I don't think she's right. I'm gonna come work pro bono for her and keep her out of prison. You don't think they were all working against her? What was her name? Karen Reed.

You don't think Karen Reed was gonna be so guilty had people not with crazy resources got involved, not charged her and said, we've got your back. And twice, yeah, she'd have been a victim of this. And we'd have been like, well, she's guilty. Guilty, Prison. She did it. Murdered.

I know some people think she's gonna.

Yeah, some people do, sure. I don't.

I don't know if that's the exact saying, but I did hear it on a Dateline.

She was arrested and charged with manslaughter, motor vehicle homicide, leaving the scene of a murder which caused death. Again, we all would have felt the same way about her as we do about Scott Peterson is about this murder guy. Because she'd have been found guilty and we'd have thought, well, we just trust the jury because they know. But it wasn't about the jury. It was about the evidence. They didn't even share it. That trial shined light on inside jobs by the freaking police department and how corrupt they were. And you don't think that's happening everywhere. You don't think Mark Fuhrman would have been so corrupt with OJ Withholding? Of course, a lot of that's political. Like, you can't go and launch into this and lose. So I don't believe the media all the time. They just want clicks. And sometimes the media are tricked because of evidence that isn't shared and why corruption. That's my point. He probably did it, though.

[Eddie]

They still probably did it. But. But yeah, I'm just not fully on board with everybody being guilty now. So that's what's up. I don't think Michael Jackson touched the boys. Is that controversial? You know who else does that? Candace Owens, I think I saw her talking about, like, Michael Jackson did not molest those boys. He was weird. He settled because I don't think he ever like law. He settled.

So is that what the. If potentially, is that what the alleged victims are after is money?

[Bobby Bones]

Oh, I would say for sure.

In that case, let's see. Michael Jackson was acquitted of all counts in 2005 criminal trial. So he was acquitted in criminal court. People don't say that whenever they're definitely. I didn't know Michael Jackson. I, like, did two shows with him.

I don't know I didn't know Michael Jackson at all. So he was acquitted. And people still associate because of what the media did to us. He's. Oh, he for sure was a kid toucher. Separate civil lawsuits have had various outcomes, including recent legal challenges against his estate. He was investigated for child abuse in 93. No criminal charges were filed after the accuser's family reached a million dollar civil settlement. If somebody touched your kid, don't you probably want them to go to jail too?

[Morgan]

Sue them civilly after. Because you can sue somebody civilly while they're in jail.

[Eddie]

Right. Jail is the priority, then money anyway, that's what's up.

[Bobby Bones]

I don't believe anything anymore. Don't believe anything. That's all. That's the message here. Murloc probably did it, though.

I still feel like I'm all hard. Things people thinks probably happen. I'm just in general in my life. I'm not assigned to things being for sure anymore because there are so many instances of me being wrong, either with me just having the opinion or me being led to opinions by people that I. I say people, organizations that I trust, which in the end, these organizations are only trying to get clicks. These organizations are only trying to sell revenue, make revenue based on ad sales. And that's all. It's like the news. The news isn't the news. The news needs to be super sensational. So you watch so they get ratings, so they can sell commercials. So they're gonna do the most sensational thing possible.

You know what the story of as them as a family, the Murdochs as a family. Like, it makes me think of as a mom. What would I do if that was my son in that situation that clearly drank a lot.

There's one leader in the front and one in the back and they're on horseback and she's in the back and they are just going down a trail and there was a lion waiting in the bush. Jumps out and bites her by the back of the neck. Rips her off the horse.

Oh. Tries to carry her away.

Yes. And then he finally just lets go and leaves her. And she has a broken arm and she had a stroke while she was in the hospital. But the doctor said she's going to make a 100% recovery.

Were they, they're doing safari, were they hunting at all? No, it doesn't like an animal hunting.

Why would you. I just wouldn't go on a horse in that environment.

I think you probably trust the people that are normally in that environment and they're like, yeah, no problem. Nobody ever gets tagged like those big trucks. Well, he posts the videos on social media. I mean, after they happen. But, like, he did it at the Olympics. He did it. He was a streaker on a big soccer game. Like, he's doing all of these things, and there's full videos of him, but he's still able to do it.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. That's weird. Also, I think if I were sent. Let's say it was Amy and I, and we're walking a red carpet together, and someone comes on and just runs up to Amy and is like, I love you so much. I think I'd be like, oh, you love her? Fine.

[Eddie]

You're all jealous.

Yeah. Why you do. That's why I was thinking. I was like, why would the other lady jump in front of her?

Well, because. Also, because she's a good human and she doesn't want her friend to be attacked by anyone. But I think a little bit of me be like, man, why didn't I get attacked?

I'll do one final story. The last penny ever was minted yesterday. They have now stopped making pennies.

Stupid.

If you have pennies, I'm not even gonna say, hold on to them. They're too many for them to be valuable.

Yeah, there's a ton. But they made the last penny. I'm not a penny guy. I don't have any pennies. If I see pennies, I don't care. I'm not quarters. I'm in dimes. Okay, I'll keep it in my wallet, but nickels are too big. If nickels were bigger than dimes, I would keep them. If a nickel meant 10 cents, I would keep it. But a nickel's too big for me to keep around when I'm already debating on keeping around a dime.

[Eddie]

Yeah, yeah. More value of the dime.

You're trying to find value. The ridiculous thing that I'm saying.

But so. So was it true that the. The penny cost, like, $0.03 to make?

She goes, Morgan. Oh, so you're mad. You're mad that she breaks out and.

Gives Amy and gives her a big old hug. And Amy is like, oh, that's funny, huh? Hu. And then Amy introduces herself and she got the handshake. And Amy goes, oh.

Oh, you were. Amy was offended too.

My response was a joke. I was mimicking lunchbox. Like, that's totally fine. I was leaning into the joke.

Okay, I would like to sit. First of all, guys, let me show you this. There's a reason I didn't get up. I have a cast on my leg, so I didn't get to come out. And I can't even lift my cast up. Oh, I know. Yeah. Chris and Leah, right?

Okay, so. And you can hold your microphones up here. Sorry I didn't get to come out and say hi, I can't walk. So this is my first time meeting you and Leah. What you just heard?

Well, I've been working with Morgan and communicating back and forth.

Oh, so you have a relationship, decided to meet her.

We've been talking forth and I'm not typically a hugger, but you know, like.

I was excited to see her. That's awesome. And I typically am not a hugger either. So there you go. I don't even touch people anymore. Do you guys notice this in pictures?

Oh, like when you take pictures with them?

Like, it's become a bit awkward too, where, like, even yesterday, I did a couple interviews yesterday and I immediately put my hands in my pockets. I just don't ever want to be in a picture and someone's like, bobby touched me creepily. So I stopped taking. I stopped touching people in pictures forever ago. Right. You can't ever be too careful. So if you guys come in and you're betting on me touching you, I got bad news for you. That ain't gonna happen. Leah, are you a fan of the show? Are you familiar with the show at all? A little bit. Never. You can say no.

Honestly, I didn't know about the show until I bought the prize.

And then why would you bid? I'm so well, there's a bunch.

Did you guys always live there or was that, like a destination? Like, once we get rich, we're going to move there?

Well, I've always lived there.

That's right. And, you know, I don't know him, but I don't ever get. Yeah, yeah. Well, Bill, you know what? I'll stop there.

That's true. Well, no, we don't need to do John Daly. We can do this.

Do people say that to you often? Like, wow, you're from Alaska. I've never met anybody from Alaska.

A lot.

And why did you come down into the continental United States?

[Amy Brown]

My mom worked for a mortgage company in the 80s and it went out.

[Bobby Bones]

Of business, and so she was offered.

[Amy Brown]

A position in California.

[Bobby Bones]

And how old were you then?

[Amy Brown]

19.

[Bobby Bones]

Okay, so. Wow. Your real memories from childhood are in Alaska. What is it like growing up in Alaska? Is it daylight 23 hours a day?

[Amy Brown]

It is.

[Bobby Bones]

And summertime. How do you. Is it all dark curtains and wearing sleep masks? How does that work?

[Amy Brown]

Yeah, there's a lot of blackout curtains sold in.

[Bobby Bones]

That's crazy. It's, I think, the one state now that I haven't been to. I've toured and gone just about any. I know. It's just far.

[Amy Brown]

It's a destination.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. It's like, you gotta fly to Chicago and then that's not even. And that's the quick flight and then you gotta fly another six hours and when you get there, there may not even be light. And so then you can't even do anything outside when it's dark the whole.

[Amy Brown]

Time in the winter.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. How do you. Can you just go to sleep at any time and it feels normal?

[Amy Brown]

You know, I. You just get used to it. That's what you're. I grew up in that other moose.

[Bobby Bones]

Just walking around.

[Eddie]

Yeah, good question.

[Bobby Bones]

Dude, that's crazy.

[Eddie]

Yeah, good question. Polar bears. Nope, not just.

[Bobby Bones]

That's a different part of the world.

[Amy Brown]

Yeah, they're in Alaska. But they're like way.

Yeah. Not in the city. Like.

Yeah, the North Pole.

[Eddie]

But moose are.

Oh yeah.

Yeah. Really? And they're massive, right?

They are pretty big.

Because when I think of Bullwinkle the cartoon, not much bigger than like the warden or the mountie or whatever, but in real life they're like bigger than a car.

Oh, yes, they're huge.

[Bobby Bones]

Would you just. Would they ever just be crossing the road?

[Amy Brown]

All the time.

[Bobby Bones]

[Eddie]

Do they allow you to moose hunt in Alaska? Oh, they do, definitely. Is there a season?

[Amy Brown]

I'm sure.

It's a lot of meat. A moose.

Yeah. Like you could feed a family for like a winter if you cut it right. Yeah.

[Eddie]

What about the salmon? Like I see salmon a lot like Alaskan Salm. Halibut.

[Morgan]

The halibuts.

[Bobby Bones]

We don't curse on this show, sir. So did you go up with her ever to Alaska?

[Morgan]

Only once. It was about, gosh, 20 years ago now.

[Bobby Bones]

What was it like for you being a California guy up in Alaska?

[Morgan]

It was cool. The one thing that Leah has always said to me about being in Alaska is sometimes you'll be somewhere and you have the thought that nobody else. Another human's never stepped in this spot. Never gonna have that feeling in California.

[Bobby Bones]

That's true.

[Eddie]

Yeah, everyone's been there.

[Bobby Bones]

That's true. I really like because I've been to Monterey. I've played like, I've done a theater there, doing stand up. And then I came and I did the celebrity golf tournament, pebble beach and so all that area. It's so nice and it's like temperate, which like you. It's kind of chilly a little bit at times.

[Morgan]

Yeah. I mean last week we had an 85 degree day. I think it was Sunday. And then it will get down to the 40.

[Bobby Bones]

You ever see Craig Kilborn walking around?

[Morgan]

No. Clint Eastwood.

[Bobby Bones]

One time I played. We played golf right beside Clint Eastwood. He's like the mayor.

[Morgan]

He was the mayor in the 80s.

[Amy Brown]

Yeah.

[Morgan]

Yeah. And he's. Yeah, he's. He's lived there for.

[Eddie]

We talked to someone who said that they almost hit him with their car. He was at the grocery store in.

[Bobby Bones]

The parking lot, but he was just like, normal life.

[Eddie]

Living normal life. Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. And so you grew up there?

[Morgan]

I did.

[Bobby Bones]

That's like somebody who grows up a 90210, it feels like, to me, like.

[Morgan]

Well, Salinas is. So it's agriculture. It's 20 minutes from Monterey, Carmel, pebble beach, and it's. It's agriculture region. A lot of the fresh vegetables, spinach, strawberries, artichokes, come out of there for the entire nation, actually.

[Eddie]

Wow.

[Morgan]

Just a little bit different demographic. A socioeconomic.

[Bobby Bones]

I didn't get out to the artichoke farms. Oh, no.

[Morgan]

Next time I could definitely set that up.

[Bobby Bones]

Are you artichoke guy?

[Morgan]

I'm not. I mean, I love artichokes, but I'm an accountant, but.

[Amy Brown]

Oh, you asking if he liked artichoke or. He's an artichoke farmer.

What did you mean by that?

[Bobby Bones]

I just wanted to know where he took me. I kind of. That's kind of just an open question to see where I took.

So you guys are. What? Have you done anything in Nashville yet?

[Morgan]

We just got in yesterday. Yeah, so. So the big event yesterday was we were standing with LeAnn Rimes getting luggage at the airport.

[Bobby Bones]

Did you hear the news stories about people think she has a boob job?

[Morgan]

I did not heard that.

[Bobby Bones]

And I was like, people, get off her back. What'd you guys think when you were there? Did you notice?

[Morgan]

[Eddie]

Easy.

[Morgan]

I would have checked it out for you, though, if I would have known.

[Bobby Bones]

Just thought it was unfair. People were, like, beating her up over her.

[Eddie]

He's like, of course I didn't notice. I wasn't looking at that.

Hey, share with them what you did notice about their luggage.

[Morgan]

Oh, yeah. Not to be judgmental, but.

Yeah, be judgmental. We love being judgmental.

To have matching luggage, I would think, okay, she's flying commercial. Fine. You know, most celebrities do. But didn't have matching luggage. I thought that was strange.

What do you mean?

You know, I don't understand Leanne and Eddie being both famous people.

[Bobby Bones]

Did you see Eddie would have.

[Amy Brown]

Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

Was anyone taking pictures with them?

[Morgan]

Good. Now you'll see that Nashville, probably while you're here. Nashville. Because so many famous people live here for the most part. Super respectful famous people. Like, there's a time and a place and if they do, they'll go and be like, hey, do you mind? But I totally am not surprised that nobody bothered them at the airport.

[Morgan]

Yeah, it's funny, at Carmel, where we're from is very similar. See Clint Eastwood, people don't go up to him. Different celebrities come up from LA and it's very low key.

[Bobby Bones]

Kind of the culture. Like, leave people alone.

[Morgan]

Yes. Let them do their thing.

[Bobby Bones]

Who else have you seen up there?

[Morgan]

Oh, gosh, I don't know.

[Bobby Bones]

Just give me one. Give me like a great celebrity.

Brad, what's his. Brad Pitt.

[Bobby Bones]

Oh, that's cool. He bought it.

[Morgan]

Like a forty million dollar castle kind of thing.

[Eddie]

He bought a castle up there.

Yeah. So what else are you guys going? Are you coming to the Opry?

[Morgan]

We are looking forward to it.

It's tough because most Friday nights or Saturday nights, the artists that are big are out touring. This is one of those rare Friday nights where they're massive artists and then us. But it's a good one.

They can get us any night. Yeah. They can just call us at any time. You're gonna like that because we'll bring you backstage with us and we'll. I would say I'd give you the whole tour. I can't walk is what's so unfortunate.

I have. That's what I have. I've been on that. It's like a prosthetic leg.

But he has the peg, though, not the wheel.

Okay. I have a scooter. I do have. I have all three things. I have Crutches. I have the peg leg, and I have the scooter. Now, my wife has implemented rules at our house that we can't wear shoes in the house, because if you're walking around all outside and you start walking inside, all the stuff from outside is on the floor, everywhere. And she's like, I don't think we should wear shoes. So I'm like, great. And if I use that scooter outside and then I bring it back in the house, it's like a shoe. I got to leave it at the door. And it's pretty much my means of transportation in the house. And I don't want to buy a second one because it was kind of a beast to put together. So now what would you do after hearing that stupid story?

Well, I just wondered because that Old Dominion got a walk, a star on the Walk of Fame this week, and I'm like, are they really that big?

Do you guys know country music at all? A little bit, yeah. Do you know Old Dominion? He's upset that they got a star. Wow.

I just. I don't know if they're one of the. They're good. They've put out music. I don't know how many albums they put out, but a lot. And they have some hits. Hotel Key, One Man Band. Any other ones I'm missing?

No, we have dinner reservations on Saturday, but otherwise we're going to play it by ear.

The food scene is. Is incredible. I didn't. Hadn't realized that. It's a fairly recent thing, apparently in Nashville last maybe five or six years. So we're excited to check out some of the. Some of the eating establishments, the restaurants.

[Bobby Bones]

The food scene is amazing. Asterisk. Because there really are some great places. There are some great chefs that now live here, but some of the places that aren't so good try to piggyback off that. And like, oh, we're all so good. Like, where are you guys going to go?

[Morgan]

Do you know, last night we went to Etch.

[Bobby Bones]

Etch is really good. And it's a standard. It's been here forever.

[Morgan]

Okay.

[Bobby Bones]

That's one of the places that I would say you should go. And it's close to downtown.

[Morgan]

Yeah, we walked. It was.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah, it was cool. It's great.

I like the story, too. And then Saturday. Oh, gosh. Not Hutch. Oh, darn it.

I've been there once. It's been a long time, though. I love it. And it's beautiful. Like, the house that it's in. Was it really pretty?

They said it is. It was up sort of a southern, but. But elevated a bit, which.

Okay, so here's what I want to say about that. A little overrated, really.

But if you gotta try, you gotta try it.

Yeah. It's like going to Times Square.

Okay, guys. Why are you putting me in this place? I don't think that's the best, but that is the Times Square. Like, you should go. And the line's going to be long because that's the most famous. And they have to do so much because they're so popular. I think they're really good, but I don't think it's, like, the best because they're so popular. And when you got to turn over so much chicken, how do you put the effort into every piece of chicken? I like Hattie B's.

[Eddie]

I see what you're saying, but it's.

[Bobby Bones]

Morgan, do you have a hot chicken? Yeah.

[Amy Brown]

The place that I. I personally don't eat hot chicken, but the place I always take everybody to is Prince's, and everybody's obsessed with it.

[Eddie]

Don't like Princess.

[Morgan]

I don't like it.

[Bobby Bones]

It's like, I love the hot idea, but if you're gonna, like, kill me with the heat, I'm out.

Got it. That makes sense.

So if you're not a wimp, go to Prince's, basically. But I think you should go to Hattie B's, because I think it's part of the Nashville experience. And I like Hattie B's, but everybody knows Hattie B's, so everybody goes to Hattie B's. And you have to weigh waiting in line with getting the chicken and how good the chicken is.

[Morgan]

Is one location better than another?

[Bobby Bones]

How does that work? The one downtown is probably the most packed, right? The one down downtown. But there's another one, too.

[Amy Brown]

There's one in West. If you can go to the west one, you probably won't wait as long.

[Bobby Bones]

7 minute different in drive, though. Yeah, it's not that far. Okay, so you have a car or you Uber?

[Morgan]

No, Uber.

[Amy Brown]

But people also say, like, a little hack for that, too. Could be ordering it online. Like, to go, oh, no, don't do that.

[Bobby Bones]

You got to experience it in the.

[Amy Brown]

Place the line is.

[Bobby Bones]

No, if you're going to do the line, do the freaking line and wait in line and do the whole experience.

[Eddie]

And then you tell everyone, like, oh, we waited in line. It was cool.

[Morgan]

You have a cocktail while you're waiting in line?

[Amy Brown]

I don't know.

I don't know. You can put it in, like, a Sonic cup. Do you guys have Sonics?

[Morgan]

We do.

We have to go back to high school.

Yeah, that's what I'm saying. If you wanted to hide it, you go get like a. Yeah, like a lemonberry slush or something. You pour your drink in there.

[Morgan]

Are you guys exhausted from your flight? Because that's a long trip.

[Amy Brown]

It was.

We were very tired last night, but.

Yeah, feeling good today. Where'd you have to connect? Like, Denver, Louisiana. Oh, and then you made the whole LA to Nashville.

[Morgan]

Yes.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah, that's hard. What sucks about that and all my things are. What sucks about that, like, is you tell me a story, I'm like, you know what? Yeah, but here's what sucks about that. You have to fly back the longer way now because of headwinds. What I like about going to LA is the way there is longer. The way back is shorter because the headwinds saved you half an hour. You guys got the short trip here. I feel bad for you on the way home.

[Morgan]

Yeah, yeah. That's rough.

[Bobby Bones]

As you can see, I really invest too much into finding things wrong. I'm like, you know what sucks about Hattie B's? The lines. Oh, that's super cool.

[Amy Brown]

And I was trying to share how to avoid the lines, but never mind.

[Bobby Bones]

I just don't think that's part of the experience.

[Amy Brown]

But if you can experience, if the whole experience, then you're just gonna go.

[Bobby Bones]

Sit on a curb and eat it.

Well, people.

Well, you can go into hotel rooms. You don't have to eat on the street.

[Amy Brown]

They still get to enjoy it, but they'd rather spend their time doing other things. Since y' all have such a short.

[Morgan]

Stay, how long is this line? Like five hours?

[Bobby Bones]

No, no, no, no. If you're not in now, you won't get in tomorrow.

[Amy Brown]

Honestly, I've never been.

[Bobby Bones]

If you're not in line right now.

[Eddie]

I said like 20 minutes.

[Bobby Bones]

No, no, no, no lunch. It's 45 minutes to an hour.

[Eddie]

Really.

If it's like 2:00', clock, 10 minutes, 11:00am, 3 minutes.

So that's right when they open, you're. You're there, first one, Boom.

Well, up to two off hours, for sure.

And if you do, you Want to see famous people while you're here, or do you care? Sure, if so. The thing about Nashville with famous people is if you go anywhere where there are tourists are not going to be famous people. Like, when you go. You should go to Broadway for sure. Be careful, because you probably catch something. Who knows what it is? It's kind of. It's kind of the vibe there. You won't see anybody famous down there. And everybody expects if they go to these artist bars, they're gonna see possibly the artist. Unless that artist is fulfilling their contract of having to do, like, three appearances at their bar, which is. They're not even really their bars. They lease their name. You know, for the most part, that artist isn't there unless it's one of those times. But there are places like Red Door Losers. Like, if you want to go to a bar and possibly see, like, a country music artist, you go to, like, those places. But I don't know if that's your vibe or not. You may be, like, you know, hot. Chicken it up. You can't leave. Your tongue's hurting so bad.

[Morgan]

I think that sounds like fun. Is that Broadway area?

[Bobby Bones]

No, it's away from Broadway.

[Amy Brown]

It's around the corner.

[Eddie]

It's called West End.

[Morgan]

West End, Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

And.

And, like, if you want, like, for food places, again, if you go, like, the really great places, if they go, they're gonna get, like, a private room. But if you go to, like, a random place, like a True Food kitchen here. I've seen so many artists and, like, famous people just chilling at True Food because nobody expects them to be there.

[Eddie]

I've seen them at Target.

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah, just go to Target. Just go grocery shops.

[Amy Brown]

Go grocery store.

[Bobby Bones]

That's right.

[Morgan]

They have to shop, right?

[Bobby Bones]

That's right. They have to shop.

And they do actually do it themselves. Some.

Once, and they walk around with a microphone. That's how you'll know for sure that it's them.

No, no. It doesn't even look like them, but, like, Reba.

That's why you have to go up to them and just, like, lift up their hat, stare at them.

They encourage you to touch them.
