Got a couple calls we're going to take regarding me taking my car in and it's just third maybe fourth time where they found something extra wrong with my car. Shane in Georgia is on first. Hey Shane, you're on.
Shane
Hey buddy, how's it going?
Bobby Bones
Pretty good. What do you want to say?
Shane
So I originally called for your experience at the automotive shop, but this is for Lunchbox. I had a buddy of mine flip his razor over on Sunday, just a smaller rollover, cut his head a little bit and he we Flipped it back over, no problem. He's like, oh, I feel good. Monday, his back started hurting. Tuesday, he was an ICU at Grady with four broken vertebrae in his back.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Lunchbox
Oh, great.
Eddie
Whoa.
Lunchbox
Okay, that's not good.
Bobby Bones
And I ate deadly rice, so. What a day, man. Yeah, we both learned something.
Eddie
We might lose both of you.
Amy
Risky.
Bobby Bones
It may be the freaking Amy and Eddie show.
Eddie
Nobody wants to hear that.
Bobby Bones
Shane, what were you going to say about the mechanic shop?
Shane
All right, so I've worked in a couple different shops local to west Georgia. And I'm not speaking on experience for myself because I'm not the type of person, but I've had texts. I was a lead guy at the last shop I worked at and I had texts come to me and tell me, you know, like a car would come in for a rotation, tire rotation, and they would come and say, oh, hey, these tires are at 60 tread. I'm going to mark them down at 30% and try to get them to buy some tires. Nine times out of 10, the. The chances of you getting two nails in both back tires at the same time are very slim, unless somebody's just mad at you and threw a handful of nails in your driveway or behind your car. But the automotive industry is very shady. You've got good mechanics out there that will not, you know, essentially rob you. They won't lie to you and tell you that, you know, if there's nothing wrong with your car, if it's broke, don't fix it. Like somebody come in for an oil change. I'd have text trying to sell them on stuff they didn't even come in for. And that was one that. That's why I learned at a young age to work on it myself. I bought a brand new truck as a teenager, fresh out of high school and had all the warranties. And every time I go to the dealership, they'd be like, hey, well, we got to fix this lights here. It's going to cost an extra 500. So I learned to work on myself. And then I got really into working on cars and I learned very, very quickly that if they're a flat rate mechanic, which means they get paid by the book, say an oil change calls for an hour, they get a percentage of that hours. And they would just. I mean, I've even as far as seeing them damage parts to a vehicle to get a customer, unknown customer, you know, customers come in me, hey, my car is making this weird noise over here.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Shane
And they would sell them a whole complete front end rebuild one the entire time it's just an uneven tire and it's making a sound on the road. You like a cup tire make a real loud roar and noise on the road. Not that sound on a whole front end rebuild. And a lot of times if I seen that, I'd stop it and buy. You know, we're not going to do this. I've even pulled customers to the side and told them, look, go somewhere else. You know, this ain't. This ain't wrong with your car. GM's notorious for lifter ticks. They've been the lifters in a, in a GM, specifically a 5, 3. Most of the time, if they don't pick, you know they're going to eventually.
Bobby Bones
I need a Shane in my life. That's what I need.
Eddie
And go. And he needs to go with you. Yeah, yeah, talk to Shane, man.
Bobby Bones
I need. I need to take my man, a man take care of me. Yeah, the two tires thing, kind of both tires. Seriously, Shane, I appreciate that call. Hope you have a great rest of the day. Thank you very much. And I hope your friend gets is okay. That's a crazy story. And now Lunchbox thinks his back hurts even more.
Shane
Tell Lunchbox definitely go get checked out.
Eddie
For sure I will.
Bobby Bones
Thanks, man. Have a good day. Let's go to Savannah in Texas. Who's on Savannah? Yes, you are on. What's going on?
Savannah
Hi, how are you doing?
Lunchbox
Pretty good.
Bobby Bones
What do you want to say?
Savannah
So I was just wanting to let them know that it's probably really important to go get checked out. I ended up getting rear ended a couple of years ago. Ended up herniating the disc and it dissolved into. And it exploded out of my back into my nerves. So it's resulted in three spine surgeries.
Bobby Bones
Dang.
Lunchbox
Oh, gosh.
Bobby Bones
What are you looking up over there?
Lunchbox
Well, I just realized that I got a text and it says, hey, this is officer Blank with the police department traffic unit. Realize I'm the one that is investigating your crash. Can you call me so I can understand what happened?
Amy
When did that happen?
Bobby Bones
How many days ago?
Lunchbox
That was on Sunday.
Bobby Bones
But I'm like, dude, it's Thursday now.
Lunchbox
My question is, is that real? How did you miss what I'm asking.
Bobby Bones
You how did you miss that text?
Lunchbox
I don't know.
Amy
But how did you just find it?
Lunchbox
Because I was looking through my text just to see like my insurance. Like if I'm. I was gonna text them and say.
Bobby Bones
You ignored a cop then.
Lunchbox
Oh, like did the cops just text you?
Bobby Bones
Did you give them your cell yeah, but. Okay.
Eddie
I feel like they would call.
Lunchbox
They just text me.
Amy
Like, what I feel like texting might be. Text sounded legit.
Bobby Bones
If I get a call from an unknown number, I'm not answering it. If I get a text, at least I'm gonna look at it to see if I believe it's an exact number.
Lunchbox
Exactly. And I gave a statement on the scene. It's not like I.
Amy
Well, he wants to see if it matches.
Eddie
I've never heard of that. I've never heard of a call.
Amy
When's the last time you were in an accident like this?
Bobby Bones
But how are they gonna get his number? A scammer. He gave it to the cop.
Eddie
Well, don't. When, like something like this police record or whatever, like, when it goes into the record, right? Like they make a police report. Don't people have access to that? And then, like, insurance companies can find it or, like, lawyers can find it.
Lunchbox
I'm gonna. I'm gonna text back. Is this real?
Amy
No, you can't.
Bobby Bones
That's a fair question.
Amy
How about we call it? We call the number.
Bobby Bones
I think it's fair to go. Hey, just saw this. Sorry. I've been dealing with blinding pain in my back that has hurt my vision.
Eddie
That's good. That's good.
Bobby Bones
Just wondering if this is real.
Amy
Oh, man. I kind of just call it and see if officer answers.
Bobby Bones
We can't do that on the air, though. Did you know what happened with him this week?
Eddie
No.
Bobby Bones
He freaking secretly recorded a doctor and tried to bring it in and play it lunchbox.
Amy
You can't do that.
Bobby Bones
No.
Eddie
You know you can't do that.
Lunchbox
Why? It's my medical information.
Bobby Bones
You can't record somebody else, though, and just bring it in.
Amy
Yeah, I got in trouble for that once, too.
Bobby Bones
Been doing this a long time. And he brings in hidden recording of a doctor.
Amy
Mine wasn't on air, though. I was an appointment with my mom. And so my sister and I would alternate going to appointments, and I was sort of the one. I couldn't regurgitate it all correctly. My sister was really good at understanding it all and then remembering it. And then I would leave appointments and I'd be like, I don't really know. So I was like, I better start recording them.
Bobby Bones
That's fine.
Amy
Yeah. No, no, no, it's not. They.
Bobby Bones
Well, if nobody ever knows.
Amy
Well, they saw me and they made me shut it down. And I said, no, no, no. It's just family notes, malpractice reasons. Well, I get it, but I didn't know that.
Bobby Bones
Well, you're in a private place. If you're in public, you record whatever you want.
Lunchbox
I thought it was because it's my doctor telling me my medical information that I can do whatever I want with it. That's more what I thought it was more about.
Eddie
The doctor can't put him on air.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you can't just record him secretly and put it on air.
Amy
Okay, well, we could call.
Bobby Bones
Sexist of you, Eddie Y always.
Amy
We could just call on the side he doesn't see on the air. But I'll be like, an officer answered. An officer answered.
Lunchbox
I said, hey, just saw this. Sorry I missed it. I was wondering, is this real?
Bobby Bones
Why don't you Google the cop's name?
Amy
I was wondering, is this real? Like, so now I'm looking at him reading it like, is the text real? Was the wreck real?
Bobby Bones
It's all AI. He AI'd us all. There was no banana peanut butter smoothie. He did that in his own car. That exploded to make the content.
Lunchbox
No, man, trust me.
Amy
I just thought of something really bad.
Lunchbox
Why?
Amy
I can't say it. Okay, that was a dirty joke.
Lunchbox
Really?
Bobby Bones
That's his Cialis and all over the top pervo.
Eddie
I know.
Bobby Bones
That's what, like an 11 year old boy thinks we're idiots and even we wouldn't think that.
Kyler
What?
Amy
I only said it and then you knew exactly what it was.
Eddie
You responded.
Lunchbox
Nope. I said, I mean, the text. I know the crash is real. Oh, my God, he's going back. Because I didn't want this cop to think I'm crazy.
Eddie
It does sound a little crazy.
Lunchbox
I mean, the text.
Amy
Oh, my gosh.
Bobby Bones
So funny. Hold on. Savannah. Thank you for the call. He has to go to the doctor today.
Amy
Oh, my eyes are watering.
Savannah
Oh, yeah, because mine ended up. I have permanent nerve damage down my leg now, so I actually got the disc removed. Then I had a spinal fusion, and now I had a spinal cord stimulator put in in October. So, I mean, your back's nothing to mess around with. It's. It is not fun. It's in and out of work, stuff like that. So I'll take the Internet.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but if you're in and out of work, you're home feeling miserable.
Lunchbox
That's true.
Eddie
Did Savannah sue?
Savannah
I. I did. But after it was all said and done, I still had doctor's bills, and I really did not walk away with pretty much nothing after I had to pay those, so. But now it's a. It's. You know, that happened three years ago almost. And I'm still Suffering the consequences for someone's bad driving. And after that happened, I got T boned. And then, like, three weeks later, I totaled my car.
Lunchbox
Oh, wait, you got T bone? It wasn't totaled.
Bobby Bones
This. You had three wrecks? Yeah.
Savannah
And then like.
Bobby Bones
Oh, God.
Savannah
Yeah. I live in San Marcos, Texas, so it's a lot of college drivers in there.
Bobby Bones
Was any of it your fault?
Savannah
One of them.
Bobby Bones
And you're sure that all three did not cause whatever you're going through? Just that that one did.
Savannah
It was the one. The first one where I got rear ended that that caused all the problems. But I'm pretty sure the other two being T boned and then the one afterwards just didn't help out my situation whatsoever.
Bobby Bones
I agree with that.
Eddie
I would think so.
Bobby Bones
How from the first wreck to the third, how much time in between?
Savannah
Between the first and the second? It was about a year and a half. And then about a couple weeks later was the. The last one.
Bobby Bones
How many wrecks have you been in your life?
Savannah
4.
Bobby Bones
What about that other one? Is that. Has that. Is that on the other side, like, the closer to us or before that first strike?
Savannah
Oh, way before I fell asleep at the wheel on i35, actually. Wait, what?
Eddie
Oh, my God.
Lola
What?
Bobby Bones
We appreciate your honesty. Yeah.
Amy
What? Explain that.
Savannah
I was tired and I was driving home from Leander to San Marcos, and I just kind of dozed off and I hit the concrete barrier a couple times. Didn't hit anyone else, but I mean, it. It happens. You know, that happens. And I don't. Yeah, I don't. If I'm tired, I will not get behind the wheel after that.
Lunchbox
They.
Eddie
They say tired driving is drunk driving.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You know, Savannah, I sure hope you get healthy. Thank you for sharing your story, and I hope you have a great day. Be careful out there.
Savannah
I'm gonna try. Thank you so much. Y' all have a great day.
Amy
Also, she's brutally honest.
Lunchbox
Hopefully she wasn't driving and talking on the phone, bro. She was.
Bobby Bones
You're gonna tell me that T bone and that one that she was didn't also hurt her back?
Amy
No.
Eddie
All of them.
Amy
I mean, all of them, I think contributed in some way.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Yeah.
Amy
But the first one was the sleep of the wheel. That's the one.
Eddie
That was the one a long time ago.
Amy
Yeah, that was the first one. First one then. Then the one that hurt her back.
Bobby Bones
Yes. Did you get a response lunchbox?
Lunchbox
No, but I type in the name, and I remember that name, and it does come up with the police department. And this officer is Acknowledged for community involvement and saving a woman's life at one point.
Eddie
Cool.
Bobby Bones
Any awards for timely texts, quick texting?
Lunchbox
No.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Eddie
You should add on there. Congrats, man. On that award you got a few years back.
Bobby Bones
I was looking you up.
Eddie
Yeah.
Amy
It looks like you are real.
Lunchbox
And I should say, I know you're real. Should I say I know you're real? I mean.
Bobby Bones
Let us know if he responds.
Lunchbox
I mean, I just can't believe they would text me. That's just so weird.
Bobby Bones
They do text. I think it's weirder if they only call and don't text.
Amy
Yeah. If you look to see if there's.
Bobby Bones
Also a missed call.
Lunchbox
Let me see if there's a missed call.
Eddie
There we go.
Lunchbox
Let me check. Hold on.
Amy
Because maybe he called, didn't get you, and then sent the text.
Eddie
Now you're thinking.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
You didn't even know there was a phone out yesterday.
Lunchbox
I had no idea.
Bobby Bones
And it was all day. Okay, let's go around the room. Amy, you're up.
Amy
Okay. So I'm gonna show you his face. You'll probably be familiar. I don't know if you'll know him just by saying Timothy Busfield.
Bobby Bones
I know who he is.
Amy
Okay. So I know him from West Wing. I love that show. So good. Well, he's been arrested for child sex abuse in New Mexico. He allegedly. I. I'll just let me read it verbatim so I don't say anything wrong. But he's being held on two counts of criminal sexual contact of a minor and one count of child abuse. And he was directing a TV series in New Mexico, and I believe it's a 16 year old girl making these claims and he's fighting these allegations. The. What they're saying is for him to please be held until they can go to court because they have proof of decades long allegations of grooming and other abuse. And I'm like, what? So this might be a floodgate into other things. Or he's being set up and they're trying to build a case to keep him there.
Bobby Bones
I read that he passed a polygraph.
Amy
I saw that as well. He took an independent polygraph and he turned himself in.
Eddie
Yeah, I saw a video that, like, where he addressed that he was innocent and that he fight this.
Amy
And he's. He's married to Melissa Gilbert from the.
Bobby Bones
House on the Prairie.
Amy
Yes. And a ton of Lifetime movies. And she is standing by his side and supporting him.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, listen, we don't know obviously, but when I read he took an independent polygraph that does at least make remind me, I don't know what's happening here.
Lunchbox
And also Amy was two brothers. I don't know where you got the female.
Amy
Oh, sorry.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Where'd you get the female?
Amy
I guess I just assumed and I also saw like.
Eddie
Was it on set? Yeah.
Lunchbox
It was two brothers who acted in the TV show the Cleaning Lady.
Amy
No, I said New Mexico. Yeah, the TV show is called the Cleaning Lady. It's not the Cleaning Lady. That. Right, that's what you said, right?
Lunchbox
Yeah, it's called the Cleaning lady.
Eddie
The show.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
In 2022, he allegedly molested the boys who were 7 and 8 at the time of the alleged abuse while they were on set.
Amy
Oh, who's 16? Somebody else maybe they're.
Bobby Bones
I've read a bunch about this. There's just, it's such a serious charge and there have been so many people that have a. Done it and they've gone to where they should and some people that haven't have been set up for it. Some are saying though he's, he has other charges. So they're trying to get money from him because since he has a. This being in his history.
Amy
So the 16 year old girl, she is from 20 years ago. So the decades long, like she's one of the ones.
Eddie
No, it was when she was 16.
Amy
It was when she was 16. So that's the part I read.
Eddie
Because if she were 16 now and.
Bobby Bones
It was 20 years ago, she'd be minus four.
Amy
That would be difficult. So he was accused of sexually abusing a 16 year old girl more than 20 years ago. And that came out following his arrest in New Mexico. Okay, so that's where the girl came from.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, the whole story sucks.
Amy
Terrible.
Lunchbox
And he was missing for three days. The, the like FBI or the marshals were looking for him. The U.S. marshals, they couldn't find him. But he was driving to New Mexico to report.
Bobby Bones
To turn himself in. Yeah, Yeah. I thought at first when they couldn't find him, he did what that football coach did.
Lunchbox
That football coach still hadn't been found.
Eddie
Still hasn't been found.
Bobby Bones
His body hasn't been found.
Lunchbox
Nope, nothing. Which, and then, and then there was three other football coaches in that town that had been charged with. Like they said, it's like a culture there.
Eddie
But you, but you're assuming that his body will be found. Like he may just have disappeared. He may have just gone somewhere.
Bobby Bones
We don't know what he did. It's probably pretty hard to go somewhere. We live in, you know, a place where there are 10 million cameras.
Eddie
Yes.
Amy
Well, I was thinking, like, especially when.
Lunchbox
He went in a heavy wooded area with a gun.
Radhi Devlukia
Yeah.
Amy
And then. And then. Could animals have taken him?
Bobby Bones
Possibly. But living in a surveillance state, it's so hard unless you know exactly what you're doing to not be surveilled. But I did see the story about him. I hope it's not true. If it is true, I hope he gets the harshest punishment possible. People shouldn't be doing stuff with kids. But I did see he took an independent polygraph and passed. So for what it's worth, I think that just needs to be said.
Eddie
All right.
Lunchbox
Yeah. And I got a text back.
Eddie
You did?
Lunchbox
He said, yes, this is real, but I got it taken care of.
Eddie
Okay.
Lunchbox
So I guess he doesn't need my statement.
Eddie
He's like, I texted you five days ago, dude.
Amy
So, like. So say, do you. Do you need a statement from me?
Lunchbox
I'm going to. I'll be like, are you sure you got it? Because I can give you a statement again.
Amy
Type it right now.
Bobby Bones
Why are you wanting him to mess with the cop?
Amy
Oh, no, I want to know.
Bobby Bones
You're, like, dicking around with the cop.
Amy
Being like, no, I'm not.
Bobby Bones
You're like, hey, tell him to come save you right now.
Amy
That's not what I said.
Lunchbox
He'll fire.
Bobby Bones
Text him 911.
Amy
No, I thought he should follow up. He's like, I'm going to. I'm like, well, why would he. I'm just eager to do it now.
Eddie
He says he's got it. Cop says he's got it. Just leave it.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Lunchbox
I said, sorry about that. I can jump on the phone if you need me to say.
Eddie
I got lots to say now. I know. I want to look at my phone now.
Amy
Yeah, Okay.
Lunchbox
I mean, that's what I'm saying. I. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Amy, an update to the story that you were talking about yesterday with Kiefer Sutherland.
Lunchbox
Oh, this is bad.
Bobby Bones
So here's the thing. I don't know that he did it. I'm gonna read you the whole story. Police sources say Kiefer Sutherland threatened to kill the Uber driver that he was arrested for assaulting, supposedly because the guy refused to stop and let him out during a ride. We know a little more about Kiefer Sutherland's arrest. I think this is from TMZ for attacking an Uber driver, and it includes an alleged death threat. Police sources told TMZ that Kiefer was having dinner with a friend Sunday night. He called for an Uber black somewhere along the way Kiefer asked the driver, hey, would you mind stopping and letting me out? After the driver refused several times, which, by the way, this is me saying this. Why would you refuse? Yeah, guy wants to get out of a car, let him out of the car. You're almost kidnapping him. If he wants out.
Lunchbox
Maybe they weren't at the destination yet.
Bobby Bones
Doesn't matter.
Lunchbox
But Uber's policy. I don't know. Do you have to let him out, or do they get in trouble for just dropping off at a random spot?
Bobby Bones
If you ask to be let out, would you change it in the phone and be like, hey, let me out here? No, no problem. Anyway, regardless. That's not even what's crazy, the craziest part about this. So he wouldn't stop. Kiefer threatened to kill him.
Eddie
If you don't stop, I'm gonna kill you.
Bobby Bones
I think it happened a few times. Hey, stop. No. Hey, stop. Yeah. No, dude, stop. I'm gonna kill you, or I'm gonna kill you. In my mind, that's what happened.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So that's what the driver told police when he called 911 to report the attack. This still isn't the part that makes me go, hmm. The driver never claimed he suffered any injuries, but Kiefer was arrested on a felony charge for making a criminal threat. Interestingly enough, this all could have been a misunderstanding. TMZ claims the driver spoke either Russian or Armenian and needed a translator when he spoke to the LAPD because he didn't know English.
Amy
Oh, so maybe he didn't even. Did he not even understand let me out?
Lunchbox
That could be.
Bobby Bones
And if he can't understand let me out, how's he gonna understand, I'm gonna kill you?
Eddie
Correct.
Bobby Bones
So there's a lot here that is not defined. So I'm not saying Kiefer Sullivan didn't threaten to kill him. I don't know. I wasn't there, but I can't go for sure he threatened to kill him because the guy didn't even speak English. And if you need a translator to talk to a cop to say, what happened to you? How do you know what happened to you?
Amy
Mm.
Radhi Devlukia
Wow.
Bobby Bones
That's all.
Eddie
That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
He probably still did it. But I'm just. If I were his attorney, that'd be the case I'd present. Like, he didn't even know what happened. How can we bust. How can we, you know, accuse him of this? So that's the update to that story.
Eddie
I didn't know you can get arrested by saying, like, dude, Let me out or I'm gonna kill you.
Bobby Bones
It's now I'm kill you part. It's not the let me out part. You can say let me out all day.
Lunchbox
You can say let me out. That's not really threatening that one.
Bobby Bones
Wow. All day story, Eddie.
Eddie
Okay, you remember we were talking about Greg Biffle? He was the ex NASCAR driver. He died in a plane crash with his whole family about a month ago. What's crazy is that somebody broke into his house on a couple days ago after.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
I mean, yeah, after all this. There's been a burglary in his house. They took $30,000 that they think was in a safe and they stole some guns, some memorabilia, and no one was home at the time.
Bobby Bones
Somebody had to know that there was money in specific money because again, they supposedly got into a safe, into a backpack that had $30,000 in cash. Yeah. To guns and memorabilia. Like you're really not going to know where that safe is or how to get in that safe unless you know there's a safe.
Lunchbox
That's awful, isn't it?
Bobby Bones
I can understand if you just break in and steal. Oh yeah, it's terrible.
Eddie
Like they're gone.
Bobby Bones
You punched a one way ticket to hell. But you have, you have to have some inside information to even know there's anything left in the house.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Much less exactly where it is. Yeah. What's wrong with people?
Lunchbox
What's wrong?
Eddie
I mean, also too, like there is the, you know how you, these football players, they see them on tv, they know they're not home, they break into them. Right. Like they break and break into their house. Same thing. Like if you know that family and you see in the news, well, they're all dead. They're all dead.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. It would be different though because I would just think someone would have already take. Been in the house, taken everything out because they died.
Lunchbox
But also, I can't believe these people don't have alarms that alert the alarm companies that say, well, no one's there.
Bobby Bones
To turn it on. They all died.
Eddie
They're all dead.
Lunchbox
But when they left for vacation, you would think they turned the alarm off.
Eddie
Well, maybe somebody went in there.
Bobby Bones
The cops have probably been there.
Lunchbox
You're probably right.
Amy
Oh yeah. And other family.
Bobby Bones
I heard it was Keefer Sutherland. I just heard alleged.
Lunchbox
Not.
Bobby Bones
That's not true. Just a little jokey joke. Okay, lunchbox.
Lunchbox
Back in 2011, Ellen Greenberg was a 27 year old schoolteacher. She was found in her apartment, 23 stab wounds. They originally said murder, then they said no, suicide. Suicide. And it's been not talked about for years. And her family is saying, there is no way that is suicide. That is a murder. And now the US Attorney General is taking over the case, and they asked for all the information. So I don't know if they got a tip or. But this is gonna be like one of those documentaries. It's like, oh, my God, what do we wait so long? How do you. How do you stab yourself 23 times and it'd be a suicide?
Eddie
There was a singer that did that. Stab himself in the stomach over and over and over. Killed himself.
Lunchbox
Okay, well, what singer?
Eddie
Elliot Smith.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah. He's probably on drugs.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
If I were just guessing.
Eddie
Well, that's just the. That stood out because you think like, yeah, how do you stab yourself over being on drugs?
Bobby Bones
I'd want to know if she was doing a bunch of drugs. Because if you're on so many drugs, probably not feeling anything.
Shane
But.
Lunchbox
Yeah, they originally said.
Bobby Bones
Was it a new story when she died?
Lunchbox
At first, yes.
Bobby Bones
Or is it only a new story now?
Lunchbox
No, it's been a new story. And they've been just like their family, I guess, has been still out there saying, hey, like, she was murdered. She was murdered. Someone look at this. And now the U.S. attorney General's office has asked for all the evidence, and I guess something happened where they are now investigating it.
Bobby Bones
Well, you know, we started. I think it's the first episode, so I can say we watched like, four episodes of his and Hers.
Amy
What do you think?
Bobby Bones
I don't want to give it an official review yet.
Amy
Okay.
Eddie
It's just.
Bobby Bones
It's.
Eddie
The teaser's good.
Bobby Bones
It's a little corny. I don't like when they play music over intense scenes. Why do you need to supplement the scene if it's real and it's good, you don't need to have a violin playing in the background. It just feels corny. Now. It may have been shot a little corny at times purposefully. Like, they end an episode and it zooms in on someone's face and they're just staring out at them. That's corny. I'm not dying to watch the next episode, but I think we finished four and there are only six. So we'll finish it.
Amy
Yeah, you might as well go, yeah.
Bobby Bones
His and hers on Netflix. Anybody else watching it? Mike? No, I like John Bernthal. Second favorite actor. Jesse Plemons, John Bernithal, Keanu Reeves. Hall of Honor.
Eddie
Dude, when you hover over that, you know, you. The picture or whatever. It shows you the teaser. I'm like. I'm like, ooh, I want to watch this.
Bobby Bones
I was watching people tweet about it last night, and they were like, oh, my God, you're never gonna believe it. I was like, shut up. You don't. We don't. This is America. Of all of our faults right now. And trust me, there are many. We live in a pretty good society that protects spoiler culture. Like, people just don't get on the Internet and say all stuff ended.
Eddie
Yeah, it's good.
Bobby Bones
People can ruin everything, and generally they don't.
Eddie
So you're saying that's a one good thing?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's like one of the good things right now that you just don't get online and everybody's spoiling everything.
Amy
Well, things like with that, though, they were flirting with it a little bit.
Bobby Bones
Well, they were just.
Lunchbox
You gotta watch.
Bobby Bones
You never believe. And I expect that anyway when it's a murder, because the whole thing and the teaser says, like a cop and a reporter on two different sides of a murder. Yeah, like.
Eddie
Like there are two sides to every.
Bobby Bones
Story to his and hers.
Lunchbox
Yes.
Bobby Bones
You finished it.
Amy
I did. I gave it three and a half out of five.
Bobby Bones
And I was surprised that you didn't rate it higher. Not for any other reason that it was Netflix. They do really good at those kind of series. And my second favorite actor of all time, but I'm watching it. I kind of get it.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And I told Caitlin as we started it, I said, Amy said it was okay. I said, but to be fair, Amy said she missed a lot of it while she was watching it, so maybe she missed some good stuff.
Amy
No, I got the gist.
Bobby Bones
It's okay. Not an official review, but I thought I would love it a lot more.
Amy
I have things I want to say, but I don't want to say because.
Bobby Bones
I don't say good, Amy, say good.
Eddie
We just talked about the good thing about our country.
Amy
This is what I mean.
Lunchbox
Don't ruin our country.
Amy
We have to keep something good.
Bobby Bones
Keep it good. Morgan, your story.
Amy
There's an 81 year old grandma and she wanted to get close to her grandkids, so she started playing Minecraft on the Internet. And One of her grandsons, 17 years old, started battling cancer. So she decided to create a YouTube page called Grandma Crackers after playing Minecraft with her kids. And the channel was created to cover medical expenses for her grandson. And they raised over like $35,000. She has over 100,000 subscribers of people watching her, and now her grandson Is cancer free.
Eddie
Oh, wow, that's cool.
Bobby Bones
Dang. That's a pretty good one. That's like telling me something good there.
Lunchbox
It's pretty funny if you listen to the audio. She's like, oh, what was that? Is she good?
Eddie
Is she good at thinking?
Lunchbox
No, she's not good.
Bobby Bones
Oh, she's not good at all.
Lunchbox
No, no, she's like, oh, I'm gonna go.
Kyler
Oh, I better know.
Lunchbox
Like, oh, little turtle, I don't need you right now. I'm gonna come get you.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I died.
Lunchbox
Oh, I died.
Lola
How did I die?
Bobby Bones
You subscribed to her feed.
Lunchbox
Oh, I saw the news story. I sent it in, but he's like.
Bobby Bones
I watched her on Tuesday.
Lunchbox
I did actually watch it on Tuesday. I saw the video.
Bobby Bones
Hey, Ray, play me voicemail number one, please.
Shane
Bobby, See you a day late. On the advice, we were stuck between two names, Lucky and Goldie. We ended up having a girl. So Goldie coast is what we went with Goldie for Golden hour. And the coast, that's what. What we love. But I appreciate the advice, man. And we didn't want to give her a boring name like Amy Morgan or Abby, you know, we want her to have some real personality.
Eddie
Take care, guys. Thank you.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
So lame.
Bobby Bones
Congrats on the name.
Amy
That's cute.
Bobby Bones
Once somebody says what they name their kid, you're going to hear, no. No scrutiny for me. If you're like, what do you think of these names? And you're inviting it. I think I'm happy to lend whatever perspective I have, but I ain't going to scrutinize anybody's name. At least not to their face.
Eddie
You can go home behind their back. You'll never believe what they named our kid.
Bobby Bones
What name did I say?
Lunchbox
I don't remember his options.
Amy
Well, Goldie and Coast were two of them.
Bobby Bones
One was like, sand pumpernickel Horizon.
Eddie
Indy was one.
Amy
Indy was one. And I think you chose that one. I think.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Hey, congratulations, man. That's good for you.
Lunchbox
Hope she.
Bobby Bones
You said girl, right?
Eddie
Yeah, Goldie Coast.
Bobby Bones
Hope she's healthy and everything's rocking for you. I was watching a tick tock yesterday. It's some dude who just had a baby, and he's like, I'm gonna teach you some dad tips. No. And it's the most basic things. He's like, how to pick up the baby. I was like, I watched the whole video. He's like, baby's necks are weak. I mean, he's doing this video for people like me that have no idea what they're doing. He's like. You take your hand, you slide it under. When you pick it up and he's like. And then you do the dad Tap. Kind of funny.
Amy
What's the dad tap? I missed it.
Bobby Bones
Once you pick it up and you get it into your arm, you pat.
Amy
Okay.
Eddie
At the back.
Amy
Cute.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. While you're holding it, I probably have it. Not that it matters, but he was a British guy, too, so I felt. There it is. Dad advice.
Amy
Oh, wait, let me see. I think. Can I see it when you play it?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lola
If you're a new dad, then these videos are for you. Lola and I have decided to start a dad tip series. Every morning when we wake up on the morning shift, we're going to try and share one dad tip so that we can help new dads today. It's. How do you pick a baby up? When I first became a dad, I had no experience with babies, and so I had. Had no clue what I was doing.
Bobby Bones
Same, bro.
Lola
And so I'm going to show you how I go about it. I'm not saying it's perfect. I'm not an expert, but I always try to protect her little head. Now why do we do that? Her neck is really weak and so she always needs support. So that's something to know.
Lunchbox
Never take your hand.
Bobby Bones
They picks her up. So I watch the whole thing.
Eddie
That's pretty cool.
Bobby Bones
I'm learning. I got a pretty funny idea in mind. I don't know if it's funny, but I have a pretty. I think I'm going to review children's books because I have like a hundred. And so I think I'm going to review children's books. That's cool.
Amy
When you read that, like, you'll read them and then you'll. But, like, just you.
Bobby Bones
You think the baby is.
Lunchbox
Yeah, the baby can't talk anymore.
Eddie
Are you asking, like, are you going to read the book to the baby?
Amy
Yeah, like, are you going to.
Bobby Bones
I'm going to read the book to the baby and then review the book.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
All right. This is my review of Goodnight Moon.
Lunchbox
That's a good one, man.
Eddie
It's too simple.
Bobby Bones
Writing was a little sloppy.
Lunchbox
Let me tell you, the kids love Goodnight Moon. That's one that they really enjoy.
Eddie
Didn't make a lot of sense.
Lunchbox
What do you mean?
Eddie
No, I'm just like. A lot of these books are so dumb, you know, and simple.
Bobby Bones
A lot of holes in the plot.
Eddie
It's funny. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So I was thinking about doing that because when my wife had her Baby shower. That's what we asked for. So she asked for, instead of gifts, it was just bring a book. And so we have like a hundred books or something.
Lunchbox
Oh, you're gonna get one every month. It's really cool. From Dolly Parton. She mails you a book every month.
Amy
Oh, you have that? You have to sign up.
Eddie
Sign up. You're not gonna sign up for that.
Bobby Bones
I already have a million books I don't need anymore.
Lunchbox
No, no.
Eddie
The imagination library.
Lunchbox
It's amazing. So every stage that they're at, they send a book corresponding. Like, what they think, the level of the kid. I mean, the kids love it, I'm telling you. And they go to the mailbox, they check it.
Kyler
I got a book.
Bobby Bones
Woo.
Lunchbox
But then when they stop getting books in kindergarten, kind of heartbreaking. They get kind of mad at dog.
Eddie
Tell them. That's the Bobby.
Amy
You could just go put a book in the mailbox and then be like.
Bobby Bones
What if you just faked that Dolly was continuing to send books? Yeah, you go put one in there and be like, you got. I think there's another book from Dolly.
Lunchbox
Oh, you could do that.
Bobby Bones
Wake up early in the morning.
Eddie
But he likes that. They're free.
Lunchbox
Yeah, they're free, man.
Eddie
Yeah, he'd have to pay for that book.
Bobby Bones
Well, all these books I got are free.
Lunchbox
Yeah, that's true.
Amy
Well, they were gifts.
Eddie
Dude, have you seen those? Those cool things that they put in neighborhoods where, like, you take a book, leave a book.
Amy
The little library.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, we. Do you say it like a baby. On purpose?
Amy
No, I said library. A little library.
Lunchbox
But the only problem with those are people put books from, like, 1970. Like, they put their old crappy books, and they're like, not always.
Amy
I've seen good ones. And then they've turned into little pantries. To pantry.
Bobby Bones
The library.
Amy
We turn into pantries.
Bobby Bones
We go to little pantry.
Amy
Whatever.
Eddie
Anyway, those are cool.
Amy
Yeah, those are cool.
Bobby Bones
Eddie said we were nominated for an Iheart Podcast award.
Eddie
Did you know that? Yeah, dude.
Bobby Bones
We're nominated for music podcast, so Best music podcast, the Bobby Bones Show. We're not really a music podcast.
Eddie
I know, but that's the category.
Amy
When you said that just now, I was like, oh, the Bobby cast.
Eddie
Nope. The Bobby Bone Show.
Bobby Bones
Because that one's. That's one. That is a music podcast one before the Bobby Cast. I've won one for that. But also, it's like if we did our own awards, and then it was like, craziest guy with the craziest voice lunchbox. Like, I'm nominated for an award. It's like, yeah. I mean, you're part of the, you know.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Song exploder. Switched on pop. All things considered in one song. Those four actual music podcasts.
Amy
Yeah, I'm confused.
Bobby Bones
Ours is not. They just want to put us in somewhere so we felt confused.
Eddie
I don't know. I saw it on the list. I'm like, that's crazy.
Bobby Bones
The winner of the top award will be determined by fan vote that will take place February 22nd through February 22nd.
Eddie
I think the awards are south by southwest in Austin, March 16.
Bobby Bones
Look, do I think that we should win that award? I do not.
Eddie
Oh. Oh.
Bobby Bones
For best, we're not a music podcast. We play some music on the actual radio show, but there is nothing actually in the podcast about music.
Lunchbox
We talk about music. We talk about, like, artists occasionally, but.
Bobby Bones
It'S not a music podcast. I bet you 10% of what we do is about music.
Eddie
Ray trying to sing that song. Those games are kind of fun.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but again, you're talking about 10%.
Eddie
So you don't think we'll win it?
Bobby Bones
I don't think we should win it.
Eddie
Oh, so if you do win, is that what you're gonna say when you get the award?
Bobby Bones
I'm gonna turn it down.
Eddie
Hey, we shouldn't.
Bobby Bones
I'd do like Garth did when Garth won and he gave it. Left it up on up there for Hootie.
Eddie
Yeah. We want all songs considered to have this.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, we don't deserve this, so we're gonna leave this right here for song exploder. Okay. Is there anything else I want to do before break? I don't know that there is. Let me see if there's anything else I'm going to do. Keep a list of podcast only bits. Let's do one more. No, I'm good. I got to that Verizon outage. It just says it prompts emergency alerts in Washington, New York City, and say anything about what happened yet. All right, that's it. Let's take a break. Thank you, everybody. DraftKings Sportsbook, an official sports betting partner of the NFL. Makes every playoff moment feel bigger. We got wild card weekend, so I'm taking the packers over the Bears. I'm also taking the Bills over the Jaguars. That's just two of the games. There are so many games happening. And DraftKings, not only are they the best, but they have your back with early exit protection, which means if the player in your eligible NFL prop bet goes down at any point in the first half, you still get paid. Want to go over and take a call from Kyler in Missouri, who listens to every game we do on the show. And every year at the beginning of the year, he calls in and gives us just total percentages, Wins, losses, et cetera. Hey, Kyler. Welcome back to the show.
Kyler
Hey, good to be back. How's it going?
Bobby Bones
Pretty good. I feel like his voice gets deeper every year. Yeah, like he, you know, gets a few hairs down there. Every year, a few more Kyler.
Kyler
So better connection this year.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I'm going to let you just kind of take it away. So do you want to give us some stats on the year of 2025?
Kyler
You got it. So we'll start with Ray and Scuba. They both went 0 for 1.
Bobby Bones
They both played a single game and lost.
Kyler
Yeah, Scuba played for Amy and easy trivia whenever she had a yeast infection. And he lost.
Amy
He lost.
Bobby Bones
We had two yeast infections last year. Amy and Lunchbox.
Eddie
That's crazy. That's very sad.
Amy
His is the one that's sus.
Eddie
What a coincidence.
Bobby Bones
So who had it first?
Amy
He did.
Bobby Bones
And then he gave it to you.
Lunchbox
Oh, my God.
Bobby Bones
That's us.
Eddie
We gotta look into this.
Lunchbox
No truth to that rumor.
Bobby Bones
Did you both have a yeast infection in 2025?
Amy
Wait, there's no rumor?
Lunchbox
Mine was in my throat. Exactly.
Eddie
Exactly.
Amy
There's no rumor.
Bobby Bones
But it's true, right? You both had a yeast infection in 2025?
Amy
Yes.
Eddie
And you sure Lunchbox had it first?
Lunchbox
Amy, that's why we say there's no truth to the rumor.
Amy
There's no rumor. I'm not even acknowledging that's a rumor.
Lunchbox
There's no rumor imply.
Bobby Bones
Did he have it first?
Amy
Yeah, he had it first.
Bobby Bones
Got it. Okay, Kyler, Ray, and Scuba. Steve with a 0% winning percentage. Okay, next up.
Kyler
You got it. All right, next is Morgan. She went 10 out of 63 with a 15.9%.
Lunchbox
Gosh.
Amy
I won 10 games. That's what I see in that.
Shane
Yeah.
Amy
Pretty solid for me.
Eddie
Out of how many?
Bobby Bones
63 games.
Eddie
Hey, Morgan.
Amy
Okay, that's pretty good.
Bobby Bones
Okay, so I'm not sure how many people are on the list, but. Okay, there's Morgan. Go ahead.
Lunchbox
Yep.
Kyler
And then we got Abby and this one, I kind of like it because she went seven out of 31 for 22.6%. But last year, she only went three for 26 for 11 and a half. So she almost got twice as good as last year. So therapy's paying off.
Amy
Therapy's paying off.
Bobby Bones
Abby spent money to go to a therapist to help her play games better because she got so nervous. Proven. It's data. Data says because. So two years ago, she. You say she was at 11% win.
Kyler
Yes.
Bobby Bones
And then last year, she was at 22. Abby, good growth there. Double up. Nice job.
Amy
Thanks.
Bobby Bones
All right, Kyler, next up.
Kyler
All right, so on President's Day, Bobby, you lost presidential trivia. And then you played around two, but there's only five questions instead of seven. And you won round two, but you only gave yourself a half of a point, so you ended at 23.5 out of 31 with a 78.3% win.
Bobby Bones
So 31 games. I won 23. 23 and a half.
Eddie
That's pretty good.
Bobby Bones
78 correct. Did they go?
Kyler
Yeah, which is good, because last year you only played.
Lunchbox
Let's see.
Kyler
Last year, you only played four games, and the year before, you only played 10 games. So you've really stepped up your game playing.
Bobby Bones
All right. Appreciate that.
Kyler
Which is fun.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Thank you very much. Okay, does that mean they. The rest of you scored more than 78%?
Eddie
Nah, there's no way.
Lunchbox
No, no, you had the. No, they just. There's no chance.
Kyler
They just played way more games.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Kyler
Oh, the five that didn't play very many games. And then Eddie, Amy, and Lunchbox played the most games. So.
Bobby Bones
Okay, so of the three, the three real players. Love it. The three real players. Who's in third? Third.
Kyler
You have lunchbox with 40 out of 173 with a 21.1%.
Bobby Bones
Dang. Abby won more percentage than Lunchbox did. Yeah, but no, I mean, that's it.
Eddie
That's the percent percentage there.
Kyler
Abby was at 22.6, and lunchbox is 23.1.
Bobby Bones
Barely handled. Oh, okay.
Eddie
He barely got her.
Lunchbox
Thank you.
Bobby Bones
I thought he said 21.
Lunchbox
Trying to. Don't downplay my accomplishments. 40.
Bobby Bones
You guys are basically the same. Abby and Lunchbox are basically the same at game plan.
Lunchbox
Not really.
Bobby Bones
All right, so at three was lunchbox. Go ahead.
Kyler
All right, number two would be Amy at 57 out of 184 for 31%.
Bobby Bones
Nice job, Amy. How do you feel about that?
Amy
Feel okay?
Bobby Bones
You don't feel. You don't look good. Not happy about it.
Eddie
She thought she won.
Amy
No, I definitely didn't think I won, but I need to do better this year. I need to do better.
Kyler
You were in the lead in, like, the first half of the year.
Amy
Really? Did. Did we get any. How did you do the. The big. The big question game, you know, where we all had to answer a hundred questions.
Kyler
Yeah, I have. So after I'd say Eddie's. I have like nine bullet points of just like random notes.
Eddie
So we'll get there.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, we'll get over there. And then Eddie.
Kyler
And then Eddie went 60 out of 173 for 30 point. 34.7. And this is four years in a row that he has won the most games.
Amy
Okay, well, hey, that's.
Bobby Bones
Amy, you closed in.
Amy
That's so close. So 20, 26.
Eddie
That's your year.
Amy
I gotta get it together.
Bobby Bones
Eddie's a four time champion. Four years in a row.
Eddie
It's awesome.
Bobby Bones
34.7%. Amy with 34%. Lunchbox with 22%.
Eddie
I will say I'm surprised by the results. I thought I was gonna actually lose for the first time.
Bobby Bones
Dang. 78%.
Eddie
Yeah. Oh, yeah, dude. I mean, yeah.
Amy
Yeah.
Eddie
Almost every game you play, you win.
Bobby Bones
Not all.
Amy
That's kind of why you don't play them.
Bobby Bones
Oh, oh.
Eddie
Is that why you choose not to plan? Because you just.
Bobby Bones
Well, mostly because, you know. Michael, do the work. I'll see him, we'll patch him up. You know. You know. Yeah, it didn't matter. Okay, what are your bullet points there, Kyler?
Kyler
All right, so that was. Those stats are only for like games that you all played against each other. So whenever it's just like one person playing for a caller, but they're not against somebody else on the show. I didn't count those. It's only verse each other.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's good.
Kyler
So Bobby, you beat Jesse the radio guy in the 1 second of song challenge. So that's a honorary mention.
Bobby Bones
Remember that when he came in, that was a strength. I really showed him how the unks do it. Yeah, go ahead.
Kyler
And then Eddie lost a single game on Cinco de Mayo.
Lunchbox
Oh.
Bobby Bones
On his own day.
Kyler
On your own day percentage. Because it was just by himself. But he did lose that game.
Bobby Bones
And it's like George Washington losing on the 4th of July.
Eddie
Dude, it's not my day, guys.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Kyler
Ultimate easy trivia 100 questions. And she won by five points.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Domination.
Kyler
So I don't know really how to put that into. Just noted with everything else.
Lunchbox
Just a little.
Kyler
But it is noted. Yeah. One of the fun facts, Amy this year won a feud with only one point.
Lunchbox
Oh, I remember that one.
Bobby Bones
What was it?
Amy
I don't remember.
Bobby Bones
We played a Bobby Feud. I. I remember like thinking, mate, this one sucks because nobody got anything. You got one point.
Amy
Oh, sweet. Okay. Yeah, I recall that now.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Kyler
Let's see. One game that Amy won was the acronym game, but it was just to see if Lunchbox knew. O, O, O.
Bobby Bones
So we were playing a game just to set him up to see if he knew what it was.
Eddie
Out of office.
Lunchbox
When I thought Scuba was rubbing it in my face that he was out of the. That he was on vacation. Ooh, I'm on vacation.
Bobby Bones
They meant out of office. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Kyler
And, Bobby, you played against Amy, Eddie and Lunchbox combined on a country music lyrics game and won twice.
Bobby Bones
Oh, nice. Yeah. They would call that in the 80s, a handicap match in wrestling.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Because you're handicapped. Because you can. You're only one playing three.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Or two. Yeah. All right. Anything else there?
Lunchbox
All right.
Kyler
And then in 2022, I only did games one. I didn't keep track of games played and games one. But in 23, 24, and 25, I did. So the three year combined stat.
Bobby Bones
Oh, wow.
Eddie
I love this.
Bobby Bones
Cumulative.
Kyler
Yes. So you got Amy at 142 out of 508 for 28%. Lunchbox, 143 out of 500 for 28.6%.
Bobby Bones
Boom.
Eddie
Barely.
Kyler
Then Eddie at 181 out of 489 for 37%.
Eddie
Dang, dude. I mean, look at the difference.
Lunchbox
I got a question. Does he keep track of, like, never gonna get it? If we get it right, even if the caller doesn't win, do we get credit for a win on that? How does that work?
Kyler
I don't keep that one. That one's too any, like, gray area stat. I just don't acknowledge because then I don't want it to be.
Bobby Bones
Fair enough. Controversial.
Shane
Yeah, it's not.
Kyler
It's not a straight fact. Yeah, I don't want any gray area.
Eddie
Kyler, do you give us anything for investigative cornies?
Lunchbox
No.
Kyler
No.
Lunchbox
How.
Shane
No, no.
Kyler
How would you do that? Yeah, like, if you get four, right. You guys all get four points.
Bobby Bones
That'd be cool.
Eddie
She gets the point too, because she delivered the joke.
Bobby Bones
Then we're all even. Then.
Lunchbox
Yeah, then that's.
Bobby Bones
Then we're all just even.
Eddie
Good point. That's why I'm not doing Kyler's job.
Bobby Bones
Oh, dang. So, Kyler, what kind of job do you have? Can you tell us?
Kyler
Yeah, I'm a job site superintendent. Like, I just built the. We just built a new boys and Girls club in Springfield, Missouri. It's a senior for 10 or a center for teens. And then right now I'm building a new First Baptist Church.
Bobby Bones
So.
Kyler
Yeah, I just. I see the job from the time it's a field until it's a finished building with occupancy.
Bobby Bones
Do you ever come to Nashville?
Kyler
Oh, yeah, we've been a few times.
Bobby Bones
Next time you come, you should hit us up. We trust you now. You come up. Come up on the show.
Kyler
Oh, heck, yeah. Yeah, I was DMing with Scuba on TikTok, actually. He's like, hey, you got to come be on my show. Do a grip strength deal or something. That'd be fun.
Bobby Bones
A grip strength scuba.
Lola
What are you?
Bobby Bones
What are you? Dm?
Eddie
And dude, he's the same one that is. You're the. You're kind of the grip strength guy.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Oh, I didn't know that.
Bobby Bones
You're the same person. That's really cool.
Eddie
He does this thing on TikTok and we follow each other and he always comments on my. Is it classic rock? And he does this thing where he squeezes a thing and does. Challenges people for their grip strength.
Bobby Bones
I thought it'd be kind of fun to come in and we do. Wait, are you. Are you an Internet personality, Kyler?
Kyler
Yeah, I've got. I've got a decent following on. On some stuff.
Bobby Bones
So he goes around and grips people.
Eddie
I think he has like 400,000 followers.
Lola
What?
Eddie
Yeah, Kyler, he can confirm that he's.
Bobby Bones
A guy slow playing.
Eddie
You're famous.
Bobby Bones
No, he does have. He has 486,000 followers.
Lunchbox
What?
Bobby Bones
He has one video with 10 and a half million likes. He has another video. He's more famous than lunchboxes.
Eddie
Yeah, for sure.
Lunchbox
Oh, stop.
Eddie
Kyler. What are you squeezing, dude? What are you gripping?
Bobby Bones
I'm just saying on video, on viral videos, it's a.
Kyler
It's called a dynamometer. So there's a lot of, like, relation between, like, overall health and grip strength. Like, you were to take a dynamometer into, like an old person home. More than likely the person that squeezed the hardest will, like, they have the longest potential lifespan. So there's. That's kind of how I got into it. And then I started testing my guys on the job site, like put my concrete guys versus my electricians or whatever, and it just turned into a fun, fun challenge.
Amy
He's got to bring the grip of monitor here.
Bobby Bones
We need to do the thermometer.
Amy
What's it called?
Bobby Bones
I don't know.
Kyler
A dynamometer.
Amy
Oh, dynamometer.
Bobby Bones
I like grip omometer.
Eddie
If I'm being honest, it makes more sense.
Amy
Oh. I mean, I'm watching his page now and yeah, everyone's just squeezing as tight as they can.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. His name is KYLER Ennis on TikTok and he had again, the video he has up first has 10 million streams and then.
Amy
What's this?
Bobby Bones
Pizza.
Amy
One of you with 3 million.
Kyler
I called a bunch of places trying to see who could make me the best version of a Ninja Turtle style pizza.
Bobby Bones
Dude's that good on the Internet, Tyler, that's amazing. I've seen.
Kyler
I wanted to get like the cheat the best cheese pool pizza possible.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, we're all freaking out because he's famous in different ways to all of us.
Eddie
Hey, we're not all freaking out. There's one person that hasn't hadn't said anything like dead silence.
Lunchbox
No, I'm looking at his face.
Bobby Bones
Are you jealous of Kyler?
Amy
No.
Lunchbox
It's really not that interesting.
Amy
See, it actually is. Oh my gosh. There's one of them.
Kyler
I sometimes wonder why there's followers too. I don't think it's very interesting either. Just sometimes things hit, you know, you.
Amy
Almost have a million views of you laying like the buc ee's beaver is holding you and you're eating the like. And it has almost a million views.
Bobby Bones
Let me compare a couple of things here. Kylo Rennes on TikTok has 486,000 followers. Lunchbox has 13,000 followers.
Lunchbox
Yeah, I don't ever. I try. I don't ever really post over there.
Eddie
Wow.
Bobby Bones
We got a celebrity on the phone.
Eddie
That's amazing.
Bobby Bones
Wow, dude.
Amy
Hey, Kyler. Destiny.
Lunchbox
I don't even see the.
Bobby Bones
We should go to his studio, right? He's more famous than we are.
Lunchbox
Stopping.
Amy
Oh, my gosh. She has another one with a million. What are you doing in front of the police station, Tyler?
Eddie
Are you getting paid for these TikToks, like, big money.
Bobby Bones
Do you do it on Instagram too?
Shane
So.
Kyler
Yeah, my Instagram. I'm just trying to. I'm trying to really grow that. I've only got like 40,000 on Instagram. Then I've got about a hundred thousand subs on YouTube, but none of my videos ever get any views. So I don't know. I don't even know how I got that many subs because my views are trash on there.
Bobby Bones
That is extreme sub. 100,000. That's. That's a lot.
Lunchbox
Wow.
Kyler
Just. I had just a couple videos that. I think there's one of them. I think it was actually that COP1 on YouTube got like 24 million views. And so that got. That got a lot of subscribers pretty quick.
Amy
Oh, he did the grip and monitor. Firefighters versus Police. That one has a lot of views.
Kyler
Yeah, that's cool.
Bobby Bones
Do you find with the grip thing that people with bigger arms have stronger grips or does that have nothing to do with really how big their shoulders or arms are?
Kyler
It really. I've tested like some IFBB, like bodybuilders, and they pulled about like 140, 150 pounds. And then. Which isn't. It's better than average, but nothing crazy. And then I'll test. I test this one guy, he was a. A bull rider and he was like probably 6 to 170 pounds, like real skinny. And he pulled over 170 pound grip. Really?
Shane
It's.
Kyler
It's crazy. You just never. You. I've tested, I don't even know probably over a thousand people at this point, and you still can't ever tell who's actually going to be good at it.
Bobby Bones
It's pretty interesting, I feel like, because I. We used to do drywall and we used to do seawalls, so we have a bunch of care and especially sea walls. We have to carry those buckets up. I feel like those guys that do that every day, like, they would develop such hand strength, like grip strength, but they weren't big dudes. That's crazy. All right, well, it's. This is a big get for us here.
Eddie
We have a celebrity on the show, flipped us around.
Bobby Bones
It's not even about us anymore. It's about him. All right, hey, Kyler, when you come up, come up, like, next time you come to Nashville, hit us up. Bring that in. We'll shoot some content on it.
Lunchbox
And I'm not gonna be a part of his page.
Eddie
Why not?
Bobby Bones
Why would you not? Because he'll tag you in it. You'll get more followers.
Lunchbox
All right, maybe, Yeah. I don't think about that.
Eddie
Why are you hating on him?
Bobby Bones
Dude, no, he didn't do anything to upset you. He did nothing except volunteer his time and keep track of our stats.
Lunchbox
A little shady on the stat. Keep him, but that's okay.
Bobby Bones
Shady as in you think he's incorrect.
Lunchbox
Yeah, like, when I win, you know, never gonna get it. That's a win. Not getting credit for it.
Bobby Bones
But I don't know that you win that more than anybody else. I don't think you do. Okay.
Amy
Wow, you're handy.
Bobby Bones
Who, Kyler? Yeah.
Amy
Around his house.
Lunchbox
Amy, he's got a wife. He's got a wife. I see her in the video.
Amy
People like the DIY tips and the. He has a lot to offer.
Lunchbox
I mean, there's a pregnancy test One on there. Okay. Like he has a woman.
Bobby Bones
All right, Kyler. Hey, we appreciate you. And, yeah, next time you come up, come all the way up in the studio. We'd love to take the test and meet you ourself.
Kyler
That would be awesome, man. Thank you.
Bobby Bones
All right, Kyler, hope you have a good rest of the day, man.
Kyler
All right, you too.
Bobby Bones
See you later. Yeah, that'll do it for today. Do you have a new podcast up today?
Amy
Yeah, I do. It's our couch talks where we do listener questions and emails, and we're talking fear and using your voice.
Bobby Bones
Like, fear of it. Well, fear of speaking up.
Amy
Yeah, fear of speaking up. Some of that has to do with me, but we got a voicemail from a caller that was talking about it and specifically my concern on retaliation.
Bobby Bones
I feel like you have gotten a lot better at that, at speaking up. But also, you're more scared of being retaliated against a little bit.
Savannah
Yeah.
Amy
I clarified.
Bobby Bones
That's what happened to make you think this. Something had to happen in your life, that you always feel like someone's gonna retaliate against you.
Amy
Yeah. I don't know. Mine's more alike.
Bobby Bones
Was it when you had meth at your house?
Amy
I'm not gonna. No, it's happened before that.
Eddie
Could it be the shows that you watch?
Lunchbox
It is 100% potentially.
Amy
But, you know, it's just like, I'm not gonna ruffle feathers with the Uber driver or the doordash person or the. No, just keep the peace. Like, I'm not gonna. I'm always gonna give a tip. I'm always gonna give a good review. Like, it's not that. But if it's like, someone's safety is at play here, like, I'm gonna speak up or like, the time I got my kids bikes back.
Bobby Bones
You did that?
Amy
I confronted those kids, but they were kids, and I did not know that they were dangerous at the time, so.
Eddie
And the cops said.
Amy
A police officer reprimanded me. It was like, yeah, glad you got the bikes back, but don't ever do that again. And I was like, okay. So then that probably added a little more fear of, like, okay, now I'm not gonna confront children, so I don't.
Bobby Bones
I think I would confront more children, just less adults. Yeah.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I think that'd be my specialty. Do you need some children confronted? I'm personal.
Eddie
I got you.
Amy
I did. I was proud of myself. I did go to the car wash the other day and confront them.
Bobby Bones
More kids?
Amy
No, adults. The car wash. I went back because I. I noticed something was off on my car, and I wanted to.
Bobby Bones
Did you guys understand why she kept saying car wash? I felt so lost when you said.
Amy
I went to the car, I went to the car wash. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You got to give us context.
Amy
Okay. So I went to. Through the car wash, like, where the machine does it.
Bobby Bones
We're familiar with the car wash. And I came out.
Eddie
It's got these brushes, big, big brushes.
Bobby Bones
You go in, your car's dirty, you come out, it's not dirty anymore. You know, that kind of car wash.
Amy
And immediately after that, I went to the grocery store, and I guess in my brain, I know what my rims look like, even though I don't really pay attention to my rims, you know? But I'm getting in, and my driver's side rims, like, something looked off. And sure enough, like, the. In the center, there's, like, this paint, and it's gone. So I go around to the passenger side. It's there, and I think it registered to my brain. It's not like it's been that way for days, because I think my brain just would have picked up on it, even though it's not something I painted. Does that make sense?
Bobby Bones
Your brain's been struggling a bit. But anyway, go ahead.
Amy
No, this was. I felt like this just happened because I just went to the car wash. So I drove back, and I wasn't accusatory at all, because, again, don't want to get retaliated. They know they have my driver's license. Like, I don't need them coming after me. So I was very kind, but it was me practicing, like, speaking up for myself and just at least out of curiosity, getting answers.
Bobby Bones
What'd you say?
Amy
I just said, how have y'. All. Have y' all ever say it like that?
Bobby Bones
They're stuttering. I'm not hearing a lot.
Amy
But I was like, hi. Have y' all ever seen this happen before? So I'm curious if this has ever been a thing. I don't know. So I'm just asking questions.
Eddie
You seem nervous telling us.
Savannah
I know.
Eddie
I'm assuming you're really nervous.
Amy
I was. So there was a power washer guy. When I entered the car wash, there was a guy that power washes, and he was only on the driver's side. And so I thought, perhaps, could his power wash have hit my tire and it been on a higher level, and maybe it took it off? Cause I said my passenger side is fine. So they pulled the videotape.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Amy
And they have footage. And his power Washer never really hit my rim. So there went that theory. And then I said, well, perhaps could the chemicals on the left side.
Bobby Bones
Oh, no, she's Karen reading it. She's hiring expert witnesses to come in and deliver.
Amy
Be stronger than the chemicals on the right side. And he was like, gosh, I don't know. We've just never had this happen. And I said, okay. And I carried on and I went on my way, but I was just proud of myself for doing my little investigative work because.
Bobby Bones
So nothing happened from all that.
Amy
I got nothing from it other than I practiced speaking up and asking questions in a kind, thoughtful, non accusatory way. Because sure, maybe it could be from wear and tear.
Eddie
No, like you hitting something.
Amy
No, no, this isn't a hit.
Eddie
No, you scraped something.
Amy
No, you didn't.
Bobby Bones
Look at the videos of Amy driving around town.
Amy
I think we'll find the center of the rim point being. I practiced. Like, normally I would have left the grocery store and never gone back to the car wash, but it was on the way back home, so I was like, might as well pop in there and just ask them questions.
Eddie
Did you feel like an idiot when you were done?
Amy
No, I actually was proud of myself because I. I would have felt like an idiot if I was rude and accusatory. Yeah. But I didn't. I practice speaking up because what if they pulled the video footage and they're like, oh, dang, you're right. He straight up power washed that thing right off.
Bobby Bones
They definitely could have.
Eddie
He's got like a face like, I'll show her.
Amy
Yeah, so practice.
Bobby Bones
Good for you. Anyway, check out Amy's podcast.
Amy
Oh, yeah. Feeling things with Amy and Kat.
Eddie
I feel like we just heard it.
Amy
No, no, I didn't talk about that. I didn't talk about that.

Listeners are incorporated seamlessly, and even hard topics (scams, crime, injury, scandal) are handled with care and some levity.
This episode is a blend of serious warnings about accident aftermath, the pitfalls of blindly trusting mechanics, and poignant real-life stories from both listeners and hosts about crashes and health. It transitions into quickfire takes on the latest news, then deep-dives into the signature “game scorekeeper” segment, revealing both the show's ongoing commitment to self-aware fun and its surprising connections (viral TikTok guest!). The episode closes on themes of growth—whether in standing up for oneself or celebrating quirky achievements—and a reminder of the show’s friendly, open-arms community spirit.
