And why did you think that would be something that you should do?

We'd be like, dude, you're also, like, super viral all the time. So you travel around, you give people strength tests.

Yeah, so my channel started with, like, DIY stuff, and then I just saw that thing. And I'm a competitive person, extremely competitive. And So I took it to the job site. I was like, hey, let's see who's stronger, my electricians or my plumbers. And then it got like 4 million views. I was like, oh, there might be something to this. I'm gonna keep it up.

Yeah, that's awesome. Were you so surprised that it got that many views?

[Kyler Ennis]

Oh, yeah. I mean, you never know what's actually going to hit, you know? And then that was one thing that was like, consistently hitting time and time again. And then, like I said, I'm super competitive. And so I started. Then I started like, oh, well, I'm pretty good at this. If. If, hey, if you can beat me, I'll give you 100 bucks. And then that kind of amps up the competition a little bit, you know, just makes it fun.

There's one guy, he was my plumbing excavator and he's like 7 foot tall. 385. And he just absolutely crushed it. He's the strongest guy I've tested for sure.

I was thinking about this because we're gonna do this.

I think I'm last. I'm gonna be honest with you. I think I have the weakest hands of all the dudes.

I was like, I didn't even warm up. No, we were, like, measuring this, and then I did the other hand, which was a little bit more. But no, you posted above your head.

Some people have said you're stronger if you hold it above your head, but I don't know. I just tell the whoever I'm testing, like, hey, just however you can feel like you're the strongest, just rip it.

I feel the strongest naked.

Oh, If I'm completely butt naked, I feel like I can pull the hardest. So I think there are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 dudes. If I were gonna rank, I think this is gonna play out interesting. I think Scuba Steve is number one.

This woman went in for a surgery on her eyelids, and I guess the doctor messed it up, and so she was unable to close her eyes ever again, even while fully sleeping. This happened about six years ago. And so pain, damaged tear ducts, permanent eyelid problems. They gave her $125,000, but that ain't enough.

[Amy]

That's it.

No way.

[Bobby Bones]

That ain't enough. As part of the agreement, she promised not to publicly discuss the case. She just can't fully close her eyes all the way.

incredible story on Hannah Wells, she has a superstition dating back to childhood that if she sees a ladybug, she eats it for good luck. Swallows it whole. And so I was told that at the Science UC tournament in Kentucky, she had a nice home run. And she had ingested a ladybug before that. So this is a superstition. This on two different sources.

In that Texas dugout last night was watching the first game of championship series for the College World Series. She hits a home run.

Exactly. Most bugs freak me out, but if I see a ladybug, I let it be. I'm like, oh, you're so cute. You can hang out in my bedroom.

Like, well, she had a home run. I was just thinking, that's ladybug eater right there. She ran around so that. So Texas beat Texas Tech in game one, and then the Knicks beat Spurs. Last night I thought about you, Eddie.

That was not fun. Like, that's. That. That. That one hurt. And it's. Man, it's bleeding into this morning, too. Because I woke up this morning in a bad mood. I'm like, why am I In a bad mood. Right. The spurs lost at home, too. Like, it just shouldn't have been a lot.

You think after y' all sleep, you get over it?

It's almost like if you get into a fight with your spouse before you go to bed and you don't resolve it. Same kind of feeling.

This woman went into a casino and she hit big. And then she was like, I'm out. I'm banning myself. She escorted herself out and banned herself from the casino after she hit big. So 69. Yeah. A 69 year old woman from New Jersey was escorted out of a Pennsylvania casino after hitting a slot machine. And so the woman had voluntarily banned herself from all Pennsylvania casinos in 2019. I think maybe she was like, had some issues before and then banned herself and then went in and won. And it was like, oh, I'm banned.

Yeah. I think that's what happened.

Okay, so she broke her band, but it's good that she broke it because she ended up winning.

We have. So the reason this story, I could be a little wrong about that story, but Reid, who works for me and has done a lot of digital, has been on all my shows. He was on DraftKings, and I was like, reed, it's fun, but just do it. It's just entertainment, right? Like, don't bet too much. Do it for fun. And he starts betting on DraftKings, and he just wins and he wins and he wins and he wins. And he calls them and says, please, I need to ban myself. I've won too much. And they banned him.

Yeah, they locked him out of the app.

[Bobby Bones]

He called the 1, 800 number and said, I've won way too much. Please lock me out of the app.

Okay, but if it be like, if he's lost way too much, you would

think he'd be literally right. And they have helplines. You call. He called the help line to say, I've won way too much. Please shut me down. Quite responsible of him.

So responsible, he knew the day maybe it was coming that he'd lose it all.

He was just winning at a rate we had never seen, making stupid bets.

Does he eat ladybugs?

No. But he called that number that some people need to call if they need help, and he felt like, oh, I've won way too much. I'm gonna go ahead and stop here. He didn't even want to have an opportunity to go back.

This woman had voluntarily banned herself from all Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania casinos in 2019, but was discovered after winning a jackpot at the Hollywood casino at Penn National State Police removed her from the property and issued a trespassing citation. She had previously placed herself on the state's lifetime self exclusion list for problem gamblers. Oh, but she even put herself on the list.

That's a great game. We do it Alpha. We. Caitlyn and I will do this too. And we don't go on crazy long road trips like this. This one's over 12 hours. It looks like I just looked the one they're doing.

Oh, it's just them too. So they're gonna go back and forth.

A game that my wife and I will do that triggered this memory is if I said something like, I'll pick a song. Ice, ice, baby doon doom, doom, doo doo doo doo Ice, ice, baby. You know, I have to sing a song that has the word ice or baby in it off of my ice, ice, baby. So you can be like, baby, baby. I said emotion. And then the next person has to

go, like, as cold as ice.

No, you've already done ice.

[Amy]

No. To love you with the sweetest of devotion.

[Bobby Bones]

So you have to use a song from the last song that you got it. So you could be like, love you. Be like, l is for the way you look at me. And the other could be like. Then it goes to like, look.

Okay.

[Bobby Bones]

Okay. Does that make sense?

[Amy]

Yeah. This is, like. This reminded me of Cooper Allen. He does the song mashups. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because he did it on the cruise. And I saw at first, whenever I would see his videos go viral online, I'm like, whatever. He premeditated this whole thing. Like, I was just. I think everybody's setting everything up. And then I saw him do it live on the boat. He had people in the audience, and they're like, just throw out songs. And he would. I mean, I guess it's not the exact game of where you're marrying up the name, but it's giving that vibe.

[Bobby Bones]

You know what? We'll just go with. Yeah, you saw that.

[Amy]

Yeah. Well, he's marrying up the beat. And the word. Sometimes the word.

[Scuba Steve]

There's a way. There's a way.

O's? Who's O's the guy that predicts all that, does all the. Matt. All the stuff where you're like, how did he do that? Oh, so what you really do in that situation is yell a song. 84 people yell a song. Who knows if they even said the song he played next? Now, they may yell a song that he knows anyway, but you can't tell every. Every song that was said.

[Amy]

He would. He would do what the people said. Like, he. He would. So, okay, it wasn't yelling out in the moment, but he would have started singing, and people start yelling it out, and he just types the song, like, into his notes app on his phone, and he just has the songs there, and somehow he'll work his way.

[Bobby Bones]

He's got the songs in already. Okay, that makes.

[Amy]

But it is still in the moment. It's pretty spontaneous. It's not like he knew even five minutes before.

Yes, but I guess skilled artist. But we used to do that crap.

We are, but the purpose is my daughter just graduated from Alabama roll ties and her college roommate is getting married on Sunday. So that's what we're traveling for.

We were coming up with some games.

You know, my kids are loving. My kids are loving. Going back and watching our YouTube from our show and watching us do stupid stuff like way back in the day, try the hot chip. And watching Amy almost die with a hot shot. Dude, they love that video.

Hey, I did a YouTube kind of in the weeds. YouTube. It's up like on my Bobby Bones channel. YouTube. I talked about that for four minutes because someone had asked what's. Was there ever a time on the show where you had to like basically abort mission type thing? And I said, well, there have been a couple big incidents, but the first thing that comes to mind is Amy drinking that hot shot. And look, I feel like I'm in control. 99.9% of this show for the past 20 years. I got control. I didn't have control. Amy starts screaming, I'm dying or something.

[Amy]

I said, no, somebody help me.

[Bobby Bones]

Oh, that's what it was.

[Scuba Steve]

I just watched it.

[Amy]

It was Brandon Ray pulls it up.

[Amy]

I feel it in my body right

now because he was producing that and he had never even heard of that segment. He pulls it up and is like, oh my God. And starts watching that YouTube of Amy going, please help me.

Somebody help me. I just don't think any of us properly anticipated the potential pain that that type of heat was going to cause my body. There was no way to know. Like, I think we were just like, okay, yeah, this is gonna be a hot shot. Okay, but no, no, because it wasn't just that. My body was rejecting everything that had just go. But when it was coming out of my mouth and my nose the other way now, my face felt like it was getting a chemical peel. So my. My skin was burning, I was shaking, I was sweating, but I was cold.

[Bobby Bones]

It was scary for me.

[Amy]

Yeah, me too. I thought I was on hands and knees in your office thinking, I'm going to need to go to the doctor.

[Scuba Steve]

And then do you remember touching the bottle or whatever it came in? And then you had it in your eyes?

[Bobby Bones]

So Brandon said that too. He said. He said, your eyes are burning. I said, I don't rem. Because I was so concerned about Amy dying. Nothing else hurt.

[Scuba Steve]

It was like a war zone, dude. Amy was out. Your eyes were like, I can't see anything.

[Amy]

I don't think I thought I was going to die, but I did not like what was happening to me. It was all so unfamiliar and felt like there was no way I could make it stop. There was nothing I could do to make the pain stop.

[Bobby Bones]

Well, I also mentioned when I was talking about that that you were a trooper because you didn't do the shot like this. You did the shot like this.

It was like one of those hot chip challenge. It was a hot shot challenge, and I don't know why she did it. Wheel game.

32 years old, had disturbing photos of minors on his phone, including AI generated photos of children doing stuff. He also tried to convince another man to allow him to bathe his children, according to a press release from the Department of Justice. Yeah. Yep. That's bad.

I don't even want to stay on this story. The whole thing's gross. I don't even want to be honest.

Does this kind of stuff surprise you all? Because it sounds like Amy's like, oh my gosh.

Yeah, I still get. Even though we hear more and more stories about it. Yes, I get surprised every time.

I think the fact that he is highly educated, obviously he is a hard worker, he's extremely good looking, he has resources. That. That is odd. And yeah, they would. That kind of. But it's probably not.

Yeah, I, I'm shocked at all anytime I hear the story, but particularly doctors. Just in my mind, I hold them at a higher standard, morally, ethically.

We have to trust them.

Yeah, yeah. And so it's just.

But they're people.

Look at all the priests who are molesting kids rampant. We hold them to a higher standard. Yeah, but when people go, man, remember the good old days? No, the good old days were you just didn't know this stuff was happening.

Correct. That's what's crazy happening.

Yeah, it's like, man, this back, you just go outside in the 90s and play till the sun. Yeah, that part's true. Like times weren't weird then. You're right, because you didn't know about it. But all this stuff was happening. Probably more so because people aren't able to do it on the Internet.

But, you know, I had this conversation with my kids, like recently, a couple days ago, because they were talking about how when they see a police car in our neighborhood or something, they kind of like, it freaks them out because the bad people are near our house, you know, like they're in the area. And I basically had to tell him, like, hey, like, this is weird, but there are bad people everywhere.

Oh, that's a weird. That's a weird way to approach that conversation.

You know what I mean? It's just like, I don't want this

to freak you out even further.

I think possibly if I were, I don't know, introduced to that conversation, I would say something like, oh, no, they are here to make sure the bad people don't do bad things. If there are bad people, that was mentioned too. Okay, good.

But they could also be there to help, like a situation that isn't a harm to anybody. They're just there to assist, like someone that fell.

But I just feel like they see a bad person as like a burglar that's waiting to come into Our house. But, like, there are bad people everywhere. We just don't know who they are. And the police's job is to stop them.

[Amy]

You know what I was just thinking of kids and bad things that happen. Eddie. And I just realized I woke up to a text from my daughter this morning that said because we were together and we got an Amber Alert and then out like at 10pm I was already asleep. But she texted the Amber alert that went off when we were together for that three year old, he's alive. She was updating me and I thought, oh, that's so sweet that she was following up. Cause she was concerned. But it's even the Amber Alerts, when those come through, like, you know, a bad situation. I think it's good for our kids to be aware. So I don't know that you handled that.

[Bobby Bones]

Oh, I don't either. I just think it freaks a kid out to think there are bad people in every house. That's what I would think.

And I think Maury was just like, everyone's just a person. They just make bad decisions. So, like, because they think the bad person is just a criminal, that always, every day, 24 7, they're out there committing crimes. And so I'm trying to tell them, like, no, it's just a person that is making bad decisions for whatever reason.

You should do the family bonding technique of gathering them around the laptop and showing them all the sexual offenders in the neighborhood by the dots on their houses.

Actually didn't see him. Slipped on him. She fell face first. She had to go to the hospital. So now she is suing outback for $1.5 million.

How'd the mashed potatoes get down there?

I mean, I'm sure it fell off a plate. You know, that a server. Server kind of had and fell on the ground. But she's also saying that the potatoes must have been there for a long time because that should have been cleaned up. Nobody should ever try to walk over mashed potatoes.

Well, nobody should try to walk over a wet spot. You obviously may not see. She didn't see the mashed potatoes.

just to put on the medical bills are right. If you got a few hundred thousand dollars in medical bills, it does seem like a lot of money. But then there's also the, hey, this lawsuit is going to set a precedent for other food slipping lawsuits. It's a lot. I think there's some of the story we don't know. But I do think if you fall and you hurt yourself at a restaurant and it was their negligence, you deserve to be paid. And maybe there's already a standard of precedent set, which is why they're going 1.5 million because somebody else fell on a blooming onion.

So when cases happen and then they give, they're awarded a certain amount of money, you try to see like, oh, that happened before. Let's go for that same. Same kind of money.

Yeah, that's happened. That happens in a lot of kids, even in not just civil, but criminal cases too.

I agree, it seems kind of dumb, but you can't be allowing people to do things like the splits or flashing or without going. If you do, you will be kicked out. So it's not even really probably about this, but it's about the future of. We have rules. You have to follow these rules during graduation or you'll be kicked out. We can't let you do this. The good times. The first pig liver and kidneys are transplanted into a person. Scientists have performed the first ever transplant of multiple organs from a genetically modified pig into a human. The recipient, a 53 year old man who had been declared brain dead, received two pig kidneys and a pig liver. And so they know this dude's dead anyway. His brain's dead, so he's not coming back to life, but his body's alive. So what they were doing was taking these organs that they have modified to see how long a human could live by using the organs, which is a pretty cool experiment to be able to do.

But wasn't the problem that some of these organs didn't last that long because they were animal organs?

[Bobby Bones]

Yes, and that's what happened here too. But when we've talked about these in the past, people have taken like a cow heart or something and they're alive and they're really hoping it keeps them alive and they die. And that's sad. This guy is already dead. His body's alive but he's brain dead. So you get to do this experiment on a living body that's already dead and see without the person being alive, fearing that they may die with a cow organ inside them and in this case a pig liver and kidneys for five days. It worked.

The liver produced bile, the kidneys were filtering waste products. As expected, it definitely rejected it later, but now they have this information to build off of, which is pretty cool.
