It says that is heavy as he weighed 540. I didn't know that.

Okay, so maybe his scale in it at 540. Because I just remember reading that he was like, who knows? Could have been 560. My scale was maxed out. Maxed out.

Big shout out to Jelly Roll on the COVID of Men's Health. He looks like a totally different person. Very like, totally different. The story I was mentioning earlier. So this guy in Florida, he gets arrested cuz he fired a gun on New Year's to celebrate New Year's. Where do they think we are?

[Lunchbox]

My dad used to do that.

[Bobby Bones]

Kuwait. Oh, okay. Mexico.

[Lunchbox]

He would do it all the time.

[Bobby Bones]

The bullet went through a woman's bedroom wall and ended up under her pillow. Luckily, she's okay. Here are the homeowners talking about the ordeal. About 1158 is when all the gunshots happened around the neighborhood. By 12:15, there was bullets flying through our house.

[Amy]

My four year old, luckily he normally sleeps in our bed. And just by the grace of God.

[Abby]

He wasn't in there that night. The bullet was right there by my pillow. I remember it being very hot. And that's when I grabbed my son and we went into the other bedroom because we didn't know what else was coming in.

[Bobby Bones]

That's from WESH News 2. The bullet went through that wall of the house. The random bullet. The guy thought he was firing just to be like, happy New Year, Bye, bye, Bow. But that bullet's got to go somewhere.

Yeah, it's gonna come down.

[Bobby Bones]

Luckily, nobody got hurt. And then Darius Rucker was just playing at the Nashville airport. Not because he has a job there, because Darius Rucker is very famous and very rich. But I think he was just there.

I saw the cliff. It's so cool.

[Bobby Bones]

He had been watching from the bar and offered a 200 tip in exchange for performing. So he's like, I'll pay. He's being funny. He has a bunch of money, is, I'll give you 200 bucks. And he gets her guitar and starts to play. Here's a clip.

And also, he kind of looks like Darius. Wow, he's really cosplaying Darius. But I'm gonna keep walking because I'm gonna be Late to my flight, but it was Darius Rucker playing at the airport.

That's super cool. Hello, Bobby Bones. Last month, my mom and stepfather were generous enough to gift me one of their cars as an early Christmas present. It was welcoming, unexpected. It was generous. It turns out that my stepdad had his driver's license suspended recently. It turns out that one of the requirements that came with the gift was that I would be at his beck and call to drive in places regardless of anything else that I might have to do, like work or college classes. I always needed to drive in places. If I refuse, the guilt trip that's laid on me is simply unbelievable. It's to the point that I'm thinking about giving the car back and going back to taking the bus. If I do that, am I looking like an ungrateful jerk or do I have a point? Signed guilt tripped. I would hope, and even I do, and I am so cynical. I would hope that even though there is guilt associated with not taking your stepdad and even though his license was suspended, that it wasn't given just because his license was suspended, that there probably was some benefit to that, that, oh, she has the car, she can drive. I think it's absolutely okay that you draw a boundary with a gift because you now own the car. It is yours. So with that car, you can draw any boundary you want. Now, I wouldn't draw a complete boundary of I'm not taking him anywhere, but I think it can be, hey, unless I have class or school, I'm so happy to do it. And you're just gonna have to eat up that guilt because they're gonna hit you with it if you can't take him at times. But that's on them. That's something they got to get over. But it's now your car, so help when you can, but don't give the car back because eventually pops is going to get his license back.

[Amy]

That's what I'm curious about is how long is it suspended for? And can he. Can. Can there be take backs of the car?

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah, well, they're looking to.

[Eddie]

[Bobby Bones]

This person's looking to give the car back, they're not going to take the car back.

[Amy]

Yeah, I know.

[Bobby Bones]

So dad probably has to spend it for a couple years, I don't think. I don't know what he's up to.

[Amy]

Yeah.

And if there's not a in there, who knows what it's for? It's probably for that, though. If I were to guess, I think you help out when you can. But when you can't, don't. And don't feel guilty about it, even though they're going to put the guilt trip on you. That would be what I would say there. It's okay to have boundaries, but it's also okay to set boundaries that aren't a complete boundary. No. Or yes. Amy, your thoughts?

Yeah, I think, like, it's okay to be like, hey, I didn't. Didn't know this gift came with all these strings.

[Bobby Bones]

I don't think you have to say that. I don't think you have to make it about that you're even aware there are strings. Oh, you can say, hey, I'd love to take you. I can't have school or work, but thank you. But if I don't, for sure, I don't think you have to address, hey, I know you gave me this gift and I'm supposed to do this, and there are strings. I think you just say what you can do, what you can't do, and move on because the longer you let it linger and you let it exist, and that they gave you a gift and you're still thinking about they gave you a gift, they're still going to use that to their advantage. It's a nice gift. I appreciate that. This is awesome. And I will help you when I can. That's what I would say. Pops, gotta get off the sauce, bro.

No, my wife Caitlyn texted and was like, enough is enough. This is getting ridiculous.

We have been talking about it for a long time.

What I was told was, hey, Amy wants to bring a Christmas present by.

Your boyfriend was a Christmas present. No.

Yes. And he was in a bow. He was wearing a bow.

Well, how it became the Christmas trip was a text from Kalen that said, enough is enough. Like, I. We need to meet. Like, this is. She texted me because I was going to sort of let it go because we'd been trying to plan it for a while and things just were not.

I heard that you were like, hey, bring gifts. We couldn't do it. And then you were like, I'm also going to bring Alex.

[Amy]

Yeah. I was like, we'll come by and do Christmas presents and he can stop by. Yeah. We had planned it that way, though, because I didn't want to do a whole. I just figured that would be easier than, like, trying to go to dinner and force anything like that, because, like, you. I didn't want to put you in a situation because, like, what if y' all don't vibe? I don't know.

Well, it's gonna be hard to vibe anyway during a forced.

[Amy]

Well, how. How would you have liked for it to happen?

[Bobby Bones]

Like, lunchboxes happened. Randomly running into him at a football.

[Amy]

Game winner randomly run into them.

I don't go anywhere. I don't leave unless I'm, like, gone. I go nowhere anymore. You're right. But it was. It was good. It just was. It was. It was nothing, but it was good because it was nothing.

Okay. So is that your house?

[Bobby Bones]

Yeah. And then we sat on couches we never sit on.

And you sat around talking on those.

She may sit on them. I never sit on those couches. Those are, like, when people come over that you don't really know couches. Do you ever have that part like that?

Unless someone's over. Yeah, we never. I never sit on those couches. And so we went. And I feel like, you know, there's a. There's only so much oxygen in the room, and him and I really didn't talk at all. At all. At all. I mean, even in. Within the four.

Yeah, but I'm not a big talker, and I feel like he wasn't a big talker, but we sat in the same room with each other.

No, there was no going out, and we had to leave. We were. We were leaving.

But anyway, I met him. He seemed delightful. Oh, okay. Yeah. Like super. That's a good word.

No, there was so nothing. I don't talk. Anyway, you guys know me when I'm out here, I got nothing to say about anything. And so I sat there, and he sat there and we just kind of watched them talk.

They did wear their shoes in our house, though.

So the fact that I'm like, I don't like those Names. Who gives a crap what I think about your baby's name? Because I think you should name something it doesn't rhyme with. Like wiener. Like, you don't want to name your kid. Oh, yeah, Little Weenus. Because you know what? That's going to be rhymed. I would even avoid Chester, generally speaking.

We were driving into Houston over the holidays, and as we're rolling into Houston, my wife is all excited about being in her hometown. She goes, welcome to Houston. And I mean, not even a minute later, all of a sudden, why the.

Welcome to Houston part? Are you just setting up the story? Like, she's, like, in a good mood. So you're about to bring us down with the next thing.

Like a minute later. Okay, I'm in. I'm driving, and all of a sudden, on the passenger side window, boom, boom, boom. There is a dude going 70 to 75 miles an hour, hanging out the driver's side window, banging on the passenger window.

He's hanging out his window, out his.

He's. He's driving his car with his right hand, and with his left hand, open.

About a minute later. About a minute later. And my wife's like, what was that? And then he just zoomed off. And I was like, why did he do that? How did he not fall out of his vehicle? Like, he is out. And to get that close.

No, he was probably going. And then he zoomed like he was going, probably 85 to that. He just gassed it and was out of there. And we just sat there like, what in the world? And the kids go, dad, why'd he do that? Dad, why'd he do that? I'm like, welcome to Houston.

I think it's crazy for a car to go 75 and drive that close to another car.

And slap their window, and you lean out while you're driving. That's all. That's.

And then he sped off going 50.

And they probably did cut lunchboxes. Probably cut him off.

Probably veered into the. One of the lanes or whatever and made a man.

There's no way we were going 50, 40 miles an hour. We were on I10. I mean, we were on the freaking highway.

But I don't understand.

Well, I didn't. It is. Houston's aggressive. Like, that's where I've been flipped off the most.

I was in Houston one time, and I saw a car go around all these other cars and then, boom, Run into a truck. And that truck spun out, and the car kept going like he did nothing.

No. He probably said it, though.

Abby saw something crazy. Now, Abby wasn't a part of this, but what did you see?

[Abby]

Oh, man. Yeah. So it was like New Year's Day. It was like 1:30 in the morning because we were still downtown trying to find an Uber. Couldn't get home, so we had to get, like, a bicyclist to ride us as far as possible. So she dropped us off on this intersection downtown. We're crossing the street, and I hear a boom. And I look over, and it's a guy got hit. A guy on a scooter, and he was face down on the street. And it was the most traumatic thing I've ever seen, and I'm still scarred.

[Bobby Bones]

Were you like, welcome to Nashville?

[Abby]

Yeah. I was like, oh, my gosh.

Did he make it?

[Bobby Bones]

Did you go to him?

[Abby]

Yeah, we went to him.

Yeah. Was he breathing like the first ones? Yeah, he Was.

I don't really know. I don't know. But he was unconscious. And then they turned him over and they were like, okay, an ambulance is coming and all that. And then he started, like, yelling. It was really bad. He was like. And an ambulance came and took him off.

We stayed because I was very invested. I mean, I was literally there. We saw him, and I was, like, a foot away from him.

Anybody know what they are?

Yeah. I haven't seen the third one, though, so I'm curious if it was good.

[Bobby Bones]

So now you see me. It's about four magicians who are trying to fight crime. Stop crime, start crime. I don't want to spoil anything, but Jesse Eisenberg. Social Network is like one of the main ones. I don't know who else is in it. Woody Harrelson. Oh, yeah.

[Amy]

Franco.

[Bobby Bones]

Dave Franco. And then Amy Adams. Yeah, they're the magicians. And the first one's from 2015, and I was pretty excited about it. Ah, it's okay. They're okay.

That's the first one. Oh, they're all okay.

They're just okay. Oh, it was a fun ride, but it was kind of stupid. But as long I think if you go into it, no one is going to be stupid. They might be pretty good. I give it three out of five, rabbits out of hats.

But the latest one just came out, right?

Yeah. And it was the stupidest of all. But they all kind of fit. I feel like that one, they just brought it back for the nostalgia of it. It really wasn't to make a good mo. It was like, let's get everybody back together. I thought the second one was the Dumbest of all, you did the third one I enjoyed. What do you think about the series? I'll give the whole series, like three out of five. Rabbits out of hats. Yeah, that's pretty right on. They're very cheesy, but if you like magic, I guess you like them. Yeah. What'd you give the whole series?

I haven't seen the newest one, but I loved the first one. Like that became like that year that I watched that movie. I loved it and I wanted more.

[Bobby Bones]

2015. I bet it was good.

[Eddie]

Yeah.

[Bobby Bones]

It's like Fast and the Furious, but with me. Magic. Yeah, that's a good analogy. Yeah. I watched a series from 2016 because my wife and I had watched that, the Beast in Me. And we finished it. And on TikTok, it was like, if you watch the Beast in Me, we really like the Beast in Me on Netflix, you'll like the show the Night of on hbo. We watched it. Guys. It's awesome. And I hate. I hate watching shows 10 years old because I think there are all these shows I could watch that are new and I could talk about. It's four and a half out of five New York Cities. Wow. It's one season. It's a limited series. It's called the Night of on Rotten Tomatoes. It gets a 94%. And it's worth it to go back and watch a show 10 years old.

It sounds scary.

[Bobby Bones]

It has John Turturro in it. Who? I only know him from Severance, but he plays a lawyer. And that's all I'm gonna say. The Night Of. I highly recommend this series. It's eight episodes, I think, but it was amazing. A little dark, but not scary. Not scary at all. It's about a. I hate shows where a minority gets unfairly framed. Because I always feel so bad, I'm like, of course, the stupid system. But that's a bit what this is without telling you anything else. Yeah, it's great. So watch that. And then I. I watched the Long Walk, which is a movie where they have to keep walking, and the person who walks the longest wins. But everybody else who can't walk three miles an hour gets shot and killed.

Oh, yeah. I saw the preview to this.

I give that four out of five. I really liked it. And it wasn't so, so long, but it was really good.

How do they know their speed?

[Bobby Bones]

They have a watch that tells them if they go below three, they get a warning. If they get a second warning, they're like, okay, we're gonna shoot you next. Third Warning shot.

[Amy]

Okay.

[Bobby Bones]

And so it's like a dystopian type thing where America has basically gone to crap. We have no money and there's a lottery and they pick kids to walk, one from each state. And so these kids show up and they're walking. And if they win, they win tons of money to take care of their families for the state. Yeah, Mike, you watched it? Yeah, it's good.

It's good, huh?

Graphic at times. Yeah, it's really good. So I give that four out of five tennis shoes. And then I watched a movie. The only movie from 2025 that I give 5 out of 5. I am so precious with my 5 out of fives. I didn't post about it because I just wanted to share it with you guys. I'm not sure if anybody has seen it. I don't know if Mike has reviewed it that I remember. And no, I googled what's a good movie. That's all I googled. The Life of Chuck. Have you seen it?

No. It's on my watch list because I watched the trailer. I was like, that looks so good.

Taylor Swift's ex is the main Tom Hiddleston. Yeah, Loki. Uh huh.

I don't even want to say too much about it because I kind of want you to go into it not knowing much. My wife is already asleep. She tends to do that being pregnant. Go to sleep earlier. So I google what's a good movie. Life of Chuck comes up. It had just been put on Hulu and didn't know much about it. Hopped into it was like, huh, I wonder what this is about. Felt that way at the first part of it. By the end of it, I wanted to keep going. It was awesome. It was good. Made me feel good. Have you seen it? Yeah, it's good. It's one of those movies that came out and nobody talked about. I didn't know it. I thought it was like a straight to streaming movie. It came out in theaters. What did you give it when you saw it? 4.5 out of 5. Yeah, I gave it 5 out of 5. It's my only 5 out of 5, maybe ever in movies.

High government officials, different people, Secretary of State, military people, contractors. Yeah, I mean, the whole thing just kind of blew me away. But then I was like, well, where's all this stuff y' all are talking about?

I just wish, like, could I see a photograph or a photograph?
