Bobby Bones
Let's go. Welcome to Tuesday's show, Morning Studio. So Cinemark is doing the bring your own bucket promo where you can take your own bucket in and get popcorn. And they'll fill any container with popcorn. And they have a thing too, where if you take in a Lowe's bucket, you can get that fill of popcorn.
Eddie
Oh, those are big.
Bobby Bones
Because that was like, the biggest thing people were bringing. So you can also get a Lowe's bucket.
Lunchbox
What is that, five gallons?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Good. That's right. Yeah. National Popcorn day is the 19th center. Mark is doing the promo, and you can actually take in the Lowe's big bucket. And for five bucks, they'll fill it with popcorn. You're never going to eat all that.
Lunchbox
No.
Bobby Bones
You can't even save popcorn.
Lunchbox
Right.
Bobby Bones
That's unsavable.
Amy
Take it home and put.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Amy
Three days if you bag it up.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but you're not getting it back.
Amy
Yeah, it'll get stale quick.
Bobby Bones
That would be funny, though, to just go on with like four buckets and pay 20 bucks and walk out with all that popcorn. But that's fun when something like a movie theater does something to make the news. Movies, theaters dying. I know you guys don't like to hear it.
Lunchbox
They're not.
Bobby Bones
That's from Business Wire. How much weight do you think Jelly roll has lost, Amy?
Amy
Let's see. He weighed 500 something and now he did. Yeah. I think I remember reading that his scale, like, maxed out. So he actually doesn't really know how much he weighed because his scale ended at whatever, 5:30 or something.
Bobby Bones
It says that is heavy as he weighed 540. I didn't know that.
Amy
Okay, so maybe his scale in it at 540. Because I just remember reading that he was like, who knows? Could have been 560. My scale was maxed out. Maxed out.
Bobby Bones
How much do you think he lost?
Amy
I feel he's like, at 200 something now. So I'll go £250.
Lunchbox
What would you have said if based on the five.
Bobby Bones
But did you know the five?
Lunchbox
No, no, no.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, so don't base it off. What she said. That's new information.
Lunchbox
I would do 200.
Bobby Bones
He lost 275 pounds.
Amy
Oh, wow.
Bobby Bones
Wow. That's crazy.
Lunchbox
He looks like a new person, like completely different.
Bobby Bones
What do you weigh?
Lunchbox
That's rude.
Bobby Bones
No, it's not. It's almost. He almost lost to me and you.
Lunchbox
I'm at 180.
Bobby Bones
185. Okay. I'm probably 165. So it's a little more than that, but not much.
Lunchbox
Wow.
Bobby Bones
Can you do that math? 180.
Lunchbox
No.
Bobby Bones
Okay. But he lost 275 pounds.
Lunchbox
We'll be here all day.
Bobby Bones
Big shout out to Jelly Roll on the COVID of Men's Health. He looks like a totally different person. Very like, totally different. The story I was mentioning earlier. So this guy in Florida, he gets arrested cuz he fired a gun on New Year's to celebrate New Year's. Where do they think we are?
Lunchbox
My dad used to do that.
Bobby Bones
Kuwait. Oh, okay. Mexico.
Lunchbox
He would do it all the time.
Bobby Bones
The bullet went through a woman's bedroom wall and ended up under her pillow. Luckily, she's okay. Here are the homeowners talking about the ordeal. About 1158 is when all the gunshots happened around the neighborhood. By 12:15, there was bullets flying through our house.
Amy
My four year old, luckily he normally sleeps in our bed. And just by the grace of God.
Abby
He wasn't in there that night. The bullet was right there by my pillow. I remember it being very hot. And that's when I grabbed my son and we went into the other bedroom because we didn't know what else was coming in.
Bobby Bones
That's from WESH News 2. The bullet went through that wall of the house. The random bullet. The guy thought he was firing just to be like, happy New Year, Bye, bye, Bow. But that bullet's got to go somewhere.
Lunchbox
Yeah, it's gonna come down.
Bobby Bones
Luckily, nobody got hurt. And then Darius Rucker was just playing at the Nashville airport. Not because he has a job there, because Darius Rucker is very famous and very rich. But I think he was just there.
Lunchbox
I saw the cliff. It's so cool.
Bobby Bones
He had been watching from the bar and offered a 200 tip in exchange for performing. So he's like, I'll pay. He's being funny. He has a bunch of money, is, I'll give you 200 bucks. And he gets her guitar and starts to play. Here's a clip.
Eddie
She understands.
Bobby Bones
She don't let go of anything.
Amy
Even.
Bobby Bones
When the pain gets really bad. I think that's a Miranda Lambert song.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
And so here's another clip from someone just walking by. That's cool, huh? You probably wouldn't think that was Darius. You would walk by and go, that guy's covered in a Darius song. And also, he kind of looks like Darius. Wow, he's really cosplaying Darius. But I'm gonna keep walking because I'm gonna be Late to my flight, but it was Darius Rucker playing at the airport.
Lunchbox
That's awesome.
Bobby Bones
That's super cool. Hello, Bobby Bones. Last month, my mom and stepfather were generous enough to gift me one of their cars as an early Christmas present. It was welcoming, unexpected. It was generous. It turns out that my stepdad had his driver's license suspended recently. It turns out that one of the requirements that came with the gift was that I would be at his beck and call to drive in places regardless of anything else that I might have to do, like work or college classes. I always needed to drive in places. If I refuse, the guilt trip that's laid on me is simply unbelievable. It's to the point that I'm thinking about giving the car back and going back to taking the bus. If I do that, am I looking like an ungrateful jerk or do I have a point? Signed guilt tripped. I would hope, and even I do, and I am so cynical. I would hope that even though there is guilt associated with not taking your stepdad and even though his license was suspended, that it wasn't given just because his license was suspended, that there probably was some benefit to that, that, oh, she has the car, she can drive. I think it's absolutely okay that you draw a boundary with a gift because you now own the car. It is yours. So with that car, you can draw any boundary you want. Now, I wouldn't draw a complete boundary of I'm not taking him anywhere, but I think it can be, hey, unless I have class or school, I'm so happy to do it. And you're just gonna have to eat up that guilt because they're gonna hit you with it if you can't take him at times. But that's on them. That's something they got to get over. But it's now your car, so help when you can, but don't give the car back because eventually pops is going to get his license back.
Amy
That's what I'm curious about is how long is it suspended for? And can he. Can. Can there be take backs of the car?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, well, they're looking to.
Eddie
She.
Bobby Bones
This person's looking to give the car back, they're not going to take the car back.
Amy
Yeah, I know.
Bobby Bones
So dad probably has to spend it for a couple years, I don't think. I don't know what he's up to.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And if there's not a in there, who knows what it's for? It's probably for that, though. If I were to guess, I think you help out when you can. But when you can't, don't. And don't feel guilty about it, even though they're going to put the guilt trip on you. That would be what I would say there. It's okay to have boundaries, but it's also okay to set boundaries that aren't a complete boundary. No. Or yes. Amy, your thoughts?
Amy
Yeah, I think, like, it's okay to be like, hey, I didn't. Didn't know this gift came with all these strings.
Bobby Bones
I don't think you have to say that. I don't think you have to make it about that you're even aware there are strings. Oh, you can say, hey, I'd love to take you. I can't have school or work, but thank you. But if I don't, for sure, I don't think you have to address, hey, I know you gave me this gift and I'm supposed to do this, and there are strings. I think you just say what you can do, what you can't do, and move on because the longer you let it linger and you let it exist, and that they gave you a gift and you're still thinking about they gave you a gift, they're still going to use that to their advantage. It's a nice gift. I appreciate that. This is awesome. And I will help you when I can. That's what I would say. Pops, gotta get off the sauce, bro.
Abby
Yeah.
Amy
And then you say, and these are the consequences of your actions.
Bobby Bones
No, you don't have to do that. You don't have to do that. You don't have to do that. All right, there you go.
Eddie
Close it up.
Bobby Bones
I met Amy's boyfriend over the break. First time. You've been dating him for a long time? Year.
Amy
Yeah. So it was a big deal.
Bobby Bones
It was.
Amy
I mean, it's not a big deal, but.
Bobby Bones
Right, but that was the thing.
Lunchbox
It was.
Bobby Bones
It was so on purpose.
Lunchbox
What do you mean?
Amy
Was it supposed to be? I mean. Cause it wasn't happening organically, so what were we supposed to do?
Bobby Bones
But that's. Wait for it to happen organically, but no, we weren't supposed to. But that's just what I thought would happen.
Amy
Right. And it wasn't happening because otherwise it.
Bobby Bones
Feels like a double job interview.
Amy
No, it wasn't meant like that at all.
Lunchbox
So did Amy call you and say, hey, I'm bringing my boyfriend over?
Bobby Bones
Wives.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Amy
No, my wife Caitlyn texted and was like, enough is enough. This is getting ridiculous.
Bobby Bones
That's not what I heard.
Amy
Well, I can show you the text.
Bobby Bones
So you're saying she's the one who said, bring him over?
Amy
We have been talking about it for a long time.
Bobby Bones
Okay, now your story's changing.
Amy
No, it's not changing at all.
Bobby Bones
What I was told was, hey, Amy wants to bring a Christmas present by.
Amy
Yes.
Lunchbox
Your boyfriend was a Christmas present. No.
Bobby Bones
Yes. And he was in a bow. He was wearing a bow.
Amy
Well, how it became the Christmas trip was a text from Kalen that said, enough is enough. Like, I. We need to meet. Like, this is. She texted me because I was going to sort of let it go because we'd been trying to plan it for a while and things just were not.
Bobby Bones
I heard that you were like, hey, bring gifts. We couldn't do it. And then you were like, I'm also going to bring Alex.
Amy
Yeah. I was like, we'll come by and do Christmas presents and he can stop by. Yeah. We had planned it that way, though, because I didn't want to do a whole. I just figured that would be easier than, like, trying to go to dinner and force anything like that, because, like, you. I didn't want to put you in a situation because, like, what if y' all don't vibe? I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Well, it's gonna be hard to vibe anyway during a forced.
Amy
Well, how. How would you have liked for it to happen?
Bobby Bones
Like, lunchboxes happened. Randomly running into him at a football.
Amy
Game winner randomly run into them.
Bobby Bones
I don't go anywhere. I don't leave unless I'm, like, gone. I go nowhere anymore. You're right. But it was. It was good. It just was. It was. It was nothing, but it was good because it was nothing.
Amy
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Okay. So is that your house?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And then we sat on couches we never sit on.
Lunchbox
Oh, that's weird.
Eddie
And you sat around talking on those.
Amy
Couches sometimes with Caitlin.
Bobby Bones
She may sit on them. I never sit on those couches. Those are, like, when people come over that you don't really know couches. Do you ever have that part like that?
Lunchbox
Yes. The part you never go to?
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Unless someone's over. Yeah, we never. I never sit on those couches. And so we went. And I feel like, you know, there's a. There's only so much oxygen in the room, and him and I really didn't talk at all. At all. At all. I mean, even in. Within the four.
Eddie
So it's just Amy and your wife chatting back and forth, and you guys chime in.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but I'm not a big talker, and I feel like he wasn't a big talker, but we sat in the same room with each other.
Eddie
So did you go out and be like, hey, man, you want to see my pickleball?
Bobby Bones
No, there was no going out, and we had to leave. We were. We were leaving.
Lunchbox
See my. Like your kids?
Eddie
Yeah, exactly. Like, check out my cart.
Bobby Bones
Collecting my dinosaurs.
Eddie
That's what I mean. Like, I don't know. Like, it does feel weird that you just sat on a couch to chat on.
Bobby Bones
Couches we don't even sit on. Oh, yeah.
Lunchbox
Awkward.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it was fine. It was good, but it was nothing.
Amy
Well, y' all went to those couches. But also I go to those couches with Caitlin. Like, if I. So I feel like that. That made sense to me.
Bobby Bones
Like, why never have people over? Maybe that's the people over couches. I never have anybody over, but. Yeah, but I met him. Seemed nice. We didn't talk really, but he seemed nice.
Amy
We all said some things. Like, it's not like y' all just sat there staring at each other.
Lunchbox
One football team.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Did you ask?
Bobby Bones
There was no conversation. We were just color commentary into what they were talking about, and occasionally.
Lunchbox
So it never came up, like, hey.
Bobby Bones
Bro, you should probably pick two teens. I didn't say that yet.
Amy
Well, I mean, he talked a little bit about having a newborn baby and shared a little bit about that because, like, I've never had a newborn, but he has three kids. And he was talking about, like, his first time driving home from the hospital, you know?
Lunchbox
Do you remember that?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Seemed like a nice guy, but there was no exchange of personalities from me or him.
Eddie
So would it have been better if you two. You and him sat on the couch, and then Amy and your wife sat on the couch?
Bobby Bones
So you guys might have been far worse. But still.
Amy
That sounds.
Bobby Bones
That's super forced. That's what anybody.
Amy
Yeah, that is forced.
Lunchbox
What was the heads up like, hey, we're coming over, like, the time.
Amy
No, we knew what I had heard.
Bobby Bones
What I had heard was, days, Amy wants to switch presents, and it didn't work out the first couple times, and then we're doing it.
Amy
Well, we wanted to switch presents. I don't know why. It's just like, Amy, we exchange presents every year.
Bobby Bones
But anyway, I met him. He seemed delightful. Oh, okay. Yeah. Like super. That's a good word.
Eddie
What was his reaction to Bobby?
Bobby Bones
No, there was so nothing. I don't talk. Anyway, you guys know me when I'm out here, I got nothing to say about anything. And so I sat there, and he sat there and we just kind of watched them talk.
Amy
I mean, I felt like we were all talking that time.
Bobby Bones
You feel like that, but you talk all the time.
Amy
Yeah, but, like, you chimed in on some stuff. Like, we were talking about my chime.
Bobby Bones
Well, I knew if I didn't chime, my wife was gonna be like, you didn't talk at all? She elbows you. Yes. Say something.
Eddie
Was your boyfriend nervous? Like, what?
Amy
No, he wasn't nervous.
Eddie
If anything, he was like, Bobby.
Amy
No, he wasn't nervous at all.
Bobby Bones
Underwhelmed is how people usually feel after the first meeting experience. Like, I thought he'd have, like, more to say. Like, I thought he would be a bigger personality.
Amy
No, he didn't. He didn't have. I mean, who knows if I even set that expectation at some point? Like, when, you know, Like, I'm sure I've told him over the time, like, Bobby's not this super talkative guy that.
Lunchbox
Did you warn him of anything before you got to the.
Bobby Bones
Did you warn him?
Amy
No, I. I mean, I've said to him before that it wouldn't, like, I don't know how it will go, but, like, you're not this, like. Like, louder than life. Like, you're not the. In a room full of people, you're gonna be the one that's more drawn back, like, in the corner, which a lot of people don't expect that of you.
Bobby Bones
They did wear their shoes in our house, though.
Amy
Yeah, I know. I had the text. I knew that was one thing. I was like, we gotta take our shoes off. And then we walked in and we all just said, hi. And then we went over and said.
Bobby Bones
They walked over to the fancy couches with their shoes on, but nobody said anything.
Amy
And then I realized we got in the car and I looked down and I was like. And I texted Caitlin, and I was like, oh, my gosh, we forgot to take our shoes off. I'm so sorry.
Bobby Bones
I definitely saw it.
Amy
Why didn't you say something after the fact?
Bobby Bones
No, because even during it, like, fella, I don't know, you would take your shoes off. You know, it's not really my thing. I don't like to people take their shoes off anyway.
Amy
Well, he always has good socks. You'd be good. I've always been very impressed with, like, his sock. Like, yeah, I don't game.
Bobby Bones
I thought it was.
Eddie
That have been a good icebreaker. Bobby would have been like, hey, nice socks, man. And then they would have really Jack.
Bobby Bones
You know, see my dinosaurs.
Amy
Yeah. But Caitlin texted. She's like, not that you need our approval. But, like, a plus, like, he seems good for you.
Eddie
Oh, so Bobby gave him an A.
Bobby Bones
Well, I, No, I said really, nothing did. I thought I said. Well, we didn't really talk much like you guys. Mostly we just jumped in with occasional like, oh, yeah, yeah, you tell him. You tell him, Scooby. I'm Scrappy Doo.
Eddie
We can set up a lunch for him.
Bobby Bones
Oh, no, I don't want to do that with anybody. It's not about him. I'm sure he's super nice, but I don't wanna do that with anybody.
Lunchbox
Well, I guess I'm next then. Cause I haven't met Eddie.
Bobby Bones
I know.
Amy
Cause I was like, well, Eddie hasn't.
Bobby Bones
Oh, they'll talk for three hours.
Lunchbox
No small talk. All small talk.
Eddie
Yeah, but you'll talk nothing deep.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but you'll talk for three hours.
Amy
Yeah, because he met Bobby's. What do you call Tom? Your manager? Is that like your manager Manager?
Lunchbox
You met Tom.
Amy
But. And they talked, like, about all kinds of stuff from, like, they knew people from high school and they were talking about basketball again.
Bobby Bones
I'm sure he's delightful.
Amy
Yeah, I think so. I, I, I'm a fan.
Lunchbox
I know he is delightful.
Bobby Bones
I'm sure he is. There was nothing about him that wasn't delightful. We just didn't say a lot.
Eddie
There was no red flags that jumped out either, right?
Bobby Bones
No.
Eddie
Good. Good.
Bobby Bones
No red flags.
Amy
I mean, I think that that's better than. Because I think if you were to pick up on other stuff, you'd be like, I don't know, something just felt off.
Bobby Bones
I think, though, in a relationship with you, the person has to be a bit submissive to your personality. You have a large personality.
Amy
Yeah, Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I mean, but I think that's for every relationship. But you have a large personality. You have a lot to say. You're gonna go on, you're gonna talk a lot. And they can't have be somebody that has that same mentality when they walk into a room, because then there's two people fighting over words to say, you know?
Amy
Yeah, well, obviously, like, he knew we all had the relationship too, and I. So we're all talking about things and yeah, he can sit back, but he has things to say too.
Bobby Bones
I can't wait to hear him.
Amy
Yeah, it was.
Lunchbox
Maybe next time.
Bobby Bones
It just felt like, they're coming over, and here's the time they're coming over.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
But then I was like, the truck's here. Oh, God.
Amy
Wait, why was there even a God or dread anything Set up.
Bobby Bones
It had nothing to do with you.
Amy
But when you first started dating Caitlyn, you were like, y' all need to meet. Like, let's go. And we all, Everybody got together. We went to Chewy's. And then, like, after that, you're like, caitlin's back in town. And then I met y' all at True Food. And, like, I'm weird, but I did things to, like, reach out and make sure, like, that's how that was. And so I know that the majority of our relationship, like, I was married and had a husband, and so there's all kinds of different dynamics happening.
Bobby Bones
But what's awkward.
Eddie
She's talking about how she met up. You and Caitlin met up with her and her husband. It's just weird now.
Amy
But that's just. That's a change that I've had to go through and my friends and family.
Abby
Have had to go through.
Bobby Bones
But I gave him an A. TBD and delightful.
Amy
But did I. Would I come to you and be like, oh, yeah, it was awkward. I had to go to Chewy's with Caitlyn.
Eddie
But you're a social media.
Bobby Bones
Yes. You thrive socially.
Amy
I know. Well, if you would have said.
Bobby Bones
If you would have said here, I, I, I acknowledging together and text, I, I, we'd have been. He'd have been wooed by me and my texting.
Amy
I know. He was like, well, do you think, like, yeah, Because I was like, we haven't met Eddie. He's like, well, maybe they can all come golfing sometime or something.
Bobby Bones
And I was like, he's a fancy club. We definitely want it on that one.
Lunchbox
Really?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Yeah, that'd be good.
Bobby Bones
Then. Those are the fanciest.
Lunchbox
We'll do that, Amy.
Bobby Bones
We'll play golf. And I'll be in a separate cart, though. Eddie and him will be in a car, and I'll be in my own car.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
That's just generally speaking, it's just kind of.
Amy
I sort of was like, I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Wait, a tbd, A plus tbd.
Amy
Okay, well, how's this grading system work?
Lunchbox
Weekend was this whole interaction.
Bobby Bones
15 minutes.
Eddie
Wow. That's. Wow. That was it.
Bobby Bones
Did you, did you do that?
Lunchbox
All right, wrap it up.
Bobby Bones
No.
Eddie
Well, I was like, it's already yawning.
Bobby Bones
We gotta catch a flight.
Lunchbox
That's good.
Bobby Bones
Gotta catch a flight.
Eddie
That's good.
Amy
It was more like 45 minutes.
Bobby Bones
It was.
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
That's how delightful it was.
Eddie
Time flew.
Bobby Bones
He was so delightful then.
Amy
Cause I remember thinking, I'm sure he's.
Bobby Bones
A super nice guy. Amy's not gonna like somebody that's not a super nice guy.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Well, yes. You met him.
Amy
You know he's nice.
Bobby Bones
He met him.
Commercial Voice
Yeah.
Eddie
Yeah. But you could like someone that's not a super nice guy.
Bobby Bones
What were your thoughts?
Amy
I could definitely spend more time with him.
Eddie
Oh, dude, I thought he was fun.
Amy
He did not spend more time with him than you did, Bobby.
Eddie
Oh, I felt like we talked for.
Amy
Him in your home for 45 minutes.
Eddie
How long did we talk? I mean, we were there for a.
Bobby Bones
While until you foreign couches, though. Foreign couches make me feel weird.
Eddie
Yeah, until you guys started smooching. Then it got awkward. I was like, all right, this is weird.
Bobby Bones
They didn't do any of that. Anyway, it was good to to break the barrier. Okay.
Amy
A tbd.
Bobby Bones
We broke the seal, so that was good. Hey, it's Bobby Bones from the Bobby Bones Show. But it was in Arkansas, a small town in Arkansas.
Amy
A person in Arkansas won the Powerball jackpot, taking home the record 1.8 billion dollar prize. New this morning, we're learning that some Coloradans also get to cash in some money for Christmas. Three people woke up Christmas morning with $100,000. So congratulations to the lucky winner.
Bobby Bones
And it was one in Cabot, Arkansas, which I'm very familiar with Cabot played baseball there, played football there. And everybody that doesn't know Arkansas assumes I'm from every small town in Arkansas. And so my phone just lit up. Did you win the Powerball? Did you know anybody that won the Powerball? So because of a small town in Arkansas, I got on TikTok and I was like, I just won the Powerball. Everybody that knew me knew I was kidding and I was doing a bit. But it then became news for like two Days. I just grabbed some of these clips here. This is the first one.
Amy
Bobby Bones just won the Powerball.
Bobby Bones
This is not a joke.
Amy
He actually won the Powerball. And he confirms that he won almost $2 billion. That's before taxes come out at three.
Bobby Bones
Video go viral at the same time, all with over a million views within like six hours.
Lunchbox
That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
Here it started to be, well, I.
Amy
Never saw your video on Tick Tock, but I saw other People's videos on TikTok. You did the. Bobby Bones won the pair. I'm so excited for you, sir. You're a billionaire now. Do not stop the radio show that I've been listening to for years. Tell me something good. Please don't.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I won't, I won't. Here's the next one.
Eddie
So you telling me that the freaking Powerball jackpot got one won by already rich dude Bobby Bones, radio host Bobby Bones. I mean, I hate the hate, but dang, let somebody pour with it. I'm just saying, man. Come on, bro.
Bobby Bones
Here's another one.
Amy
There's actually a news article.
Bobby Bones
Bobby Bones won the Powerball one point.
Amy
How many ever billion dollars. I think Bobby Bones will do so much good with that money.
Bobby Bones
That's what my mom and I were talking about last night after I found out.
Amy
I know, like, if anybody else would have won it, I wouldn't have thought.
Bobby Bones
They would have done anything good with.
Amy
But I think he will.
Bobby Bones
I appreciate that. It was all satire. I thought that everybody knew I was joking. And then once it became a thing, I said, oh, I should stop this. The craziest part was there were two places that I went over the break and they stopped me and said, hey, Bobby Bones. I said, yeah. Said, hey, I saw you on the Powerball. I said, yeah. I got asked for money twice that quickly. Yes. And every DM was people going, hey, will you pay my rent? Pay my mortgage? It was crazy.
Amy
Wait, they asked you in person?
Bobby Bones
Yes. Huh.
Lunchbox
I guess that's what, like, lottery winners go through.
Bobby Bones
It was weird. It wasn't, hey, Bobby Bones. Love the show, love the podcast. It was, hey, Bobby Bones, we're having some trouble. Is there any way you could help with my rent?
Eddie
Dang.
Amy
Didn't they know they could have asked you that before you won the Powerball?
Bobby Bones
I didn't say that. I said, I didn't win the Powerball. That was a joke. Yeah. And they were like, oh, you're like.
Amy
So sorry, but I can only imagine.
Bobby Bones
If you really won. You don't even know who's like your real person or not. Because everybody's asking you for money. And by the way, it is a whole lot of money. But the 1.8 billion ends up being 452 million. Like, that ends up being in a. Still a lot, but there's a significant difference in that. And, yeah, 1.8 billion.
Amy
1.8 billion ends up being after taxes.
Bobby Bones
And after the lump sum, that's what you get. 450 million.
Lunchbox
That's a scam.
Bobby Bones
It's a lot of money.
Lunchbox
But you're not a billionaire.
Eddie
You're right.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. You weren't gonna be a billionaire anyway, so. But I did not win the Powerball. Yeah.
Lunchbox
So what did you do? Did you have to tell everyone? Like, would you get back on and.
Bobby Bones
No, I just pulled it. Okay. I sent Eddie the videos. I said, dude, I got 3 million views in 6 hours of me going, I won the Powerball. And I was being funny because I had bought Girl Scout cookies. I bought some Thin Mints because they don't have any dairy in them. And so I bought three boxes of Thin Mints, and I said, one of the Powerball is crazy. I used to only buy two, and I pulled the third box in. I go, now I got three. Powerball changed my life. I just thought people would understand I was kidding, but they weren't. There was a girl who was questioning if it was satire, real or not.
Amy
Did Bobby Bones really win the Powerball? The big, Like, I don't know. It was, like, $1.6 billion or something. I can't tell if it's satire or not. It's, like, kind of insane when it's, like, somebody that's known. I don't know. I was.
Bobby Bones
Or. I guess I'm also shocked, too, because.
Amy
He seems to be talking about. Unless this is totally satire and, like, I guess jokes on me, then I.
Bobby Bones
Would have never talked about it. Had I really won. I would have talked about it on this show. Any big news, I would have probably just waited here to share. But people were like, well, he wouldn't talk about it because he. He wouldn't. He needs to get his finances in order. And people are like, he has his finances in order already. Don't. Don't worry about that. Don't worry about that. So I didn't win the Powerball. I just want everybody to know I didn't win the Powerball. Okay. But it was big. Shout out to whomever in Cabot 1. It's, like, 30 minutes from little Rock, so it's definitely a place that I'VE been a lot.
Eddie
Oh, that's crazy. Amazing.
Bobby Bones
It is a life changer. So.
Amy
Oh, yeah. Changed.
Bobby Bones
Big win, Big shout out. I did not win the Powerball. All right. Voicemail. Bobby, it's Nevis again from Alabama. Hey, man, look, I need your help naming our baby.
Eddie
Baby's due January 5th.
Bobby Bones
The names we have are Lucky, Indie, Goldie coast, or your favorite, Danger. So give us a name, man.
Eddie
It'd be cool.
Bobby Bones
You guys pick something. Well, the baby was due yesterday, so if the baby's not born yet, I guess we can help. Do some people have babies and not have a name at all?
Amy
Right? No. They could go days without having a name, really? Until, like, the hospital. Like, my sister's fourth child. The other ones, they knew right away. Her fourth one they couldn't figure out for days. So she was, like, checking out of the hospital and, like, having to fill out the paperwork. She's like, okay, I guess we're gonna go with this.
Bobby Bones
I'd like to make a suggestion. I'd like to normalize not naming the baby until you've met it and you can spend a week with it. Why?
Amy
Because you get to know it.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. You don't name things without seeing it.
Eddie
But then.
Lunchbox
And the name, it goes with their personality.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Like, you spend a week with it. You know, if you got a little herman coming out, it's born. It doesn't look like a Herman. Like, after a week with the baby, you have to fill out the name.
Lunchbox
Yeah, you're right. Like, Danger wouldn't work.
Bobby Bones
If he's a very careful baby, he comes out with a bow tie. It's not Danger. Yeah, he's got a bow tie on. It's a boy. Oh, we can't go with Danger. So the names he gave us are Lucky, Indy, Goldie coast, or Danger.
Lunchbox
And it's a.
Bobby Bones
Those all sound terrible. Now, I'll also say this. Who cares how I feel about those names?
Lunchbox
Yeah, it's your.
Bobby Bones
And I think everybody has different relationships with sharing the baby's name before the baby's born. There's a thing that we're doing. We're not sharing the baby's name with anybody because we don't want their reaction. We don't want their face reaction. We don't want their audible reaction. We're saying nothing about the baby's name to anybody because a lot of people, regardless of what you're naming, your kid, will think, well, that's a stupid name. So the fact that I'm like, I don't like those Names. Who gives a crap what I think about your baby's name? Because I think you should name something it doesn't rhyme with. Like wiener. Like, you don't want to name your kid. Oh, yeah, Little Weenus. Because you know what? That's going to be rhymed. I would even avoid Chester, generally speaking.
Eddie
Oh, oh, yeah, yeah. Because of the word molester.
Lunchbox
That's right. You can't do that.
Bobby Bones
Like, I think there are certain rhyming words that you don't want to rhyme it with. Like my friend Rudhole. He never lives it down.
Amy
Yeah.
Eddie
Oh, Rudolph.
Lunchbox
Got it.
Bobby Bones
So if I were to pick from these names, Lucky, Indie, Goldie, coast, or Danger. I think Danger is a terrible name. It's a middle name because Danger is a middle name.
Lunchbox
Oh, that's cool.
Bobby Bones
That's said in a lot of movies.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Okay, so, okay, I'm gonna eliminate Danger. I think as a nickname, some of those names are really cool. I think Lucky as a nickname is pretty cool. Like if you named your kid Luke and Bach, but you call him Lucky.
Lunchbox
That's cool. Or Luke.
Bobby Bones
Or there was a woman who named her kid Lucchese after the boots, but Lucky. Imagine your. Your kid is an adult, though, and gets hit by a car. The headline is not so lucky. Oh, you gotta think about that.
Amy
Yeah.
Lunchbox
So much to think of.
Bobby Bones
Indy. I don't mind indie.
Lunchbox
I like indie.
Bobby Bones
I don't mind Indie. It's ind. I. E. Unless you're naming Indy after you live in Indianapolis. Independent is their full name. Independent. You nickname them Indy. I don't even hate Independent as a name. That's weird. It's a weird name.
Lunchbox
But Indiana Jones, his nickname was Indy.
Bobby Bones
It was. I've never seen those movies.
Lunchbox
Yeah, yeah. They called him Indy.
Bobby Bones
I've never seen him. Okay, I don't mind Indie. So far. I'm gonna put Indy on top.
Eddie
Goldie, that's a girl.
Bobby Bones
But Goldie, would that be a short for us? A name? Because. Because they're Goldie Hawn. That there are names, but it's Goldie. Like Goldahanahan or something.
Lunchbox
No, Paul Goldschmidt. They call him Goldie.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Last name, though.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Would you Google is Goldie short for something? Because that would be interesting. Like Goldie Hawn. Her name is Goldie Gene Han.
Lunchbox
Oh, so her name's Goldie.
Bobby Bones
And then finally Coast. He's got to have a motorcycle if his name's Coast.
Lunchbox
Coast.
Bobby Bones
Or a surfboard. Yeah.
Lunchbox
He's got to be a beach.
Bobby Bones
Like, you're kind of assigning him to Goldie. Yeah. No, it just means gold, obviously. And it's not a shortened version of those. I'm gonna go with Indy.
Lunchbox
Solid.
Bobby Bones
Especially if you're Native American. That would be cool.
Lunchbox
Oh, think about that.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, Like a little bit. Like. But you have a little Native American Indian. That'd be cool.
Lunchbox
Or you're from India kind of cool.
Bobby Bones
Or your parents are an independent artist.
Amy
Sorry, did I miss the sex of the baby or they not sounds like boys. Goldie for a boy.
Lunchbox
Mayor Goldie Wilson.
Bobby Bones
I don't. I don't. I think Indy is the play here.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Of the five. So let us know. Call and let us know. We may have missed it by a day and Little Danger is probably existing in the world already. But, yeah, call us and let us know what you ended up naming it. But I'm name it. We're going. We've been through this process. Naming is hard because it's so forever. And you can always go with a middle name or a nickname. But you guys, you know this. You've had a name process, and you don't even know what the person looks like and you're giving them a name.
Lunchbox
They become that name, though I'm more of the belief that they become the name that you name them. Like my kids. They are that person. Like whatever we named them, they are that personality.
Bobby Bones
Because you think people have an expectation on them based on their name before they even meet them.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Lucky's not it then. Lunchbox claims he's been the victim of a road rage attack. Now, before I go to him for the story, odds are this is true. Amy.
Amy
Odds are this is probably not true.
Bobby Bones
Got it. I'd say odds are it's probably pretty true with a bit of an embellishment. Eddie.
Lunchbox
I think it happened, but it's definitely going to be dramatized.
Bobby Bones
Okay, Lunchbox, go ahead.
Eddie
Oh, man. You guys laughed. It's. It's no laughing matter. When you're out on the road and people attack you unprovoked with your kids in the car, it's a very dangerous situation. It's very scary. We were driving into Houston over the holidays, and as we're rolling into Houston, my wife is all excited about being in her hometown. She goes, welcome to Houston. And I mean, not even a minute later, all of a sudden, why the.
Bobby Bones
Welcome to Houston part? Are you just setting up the story? Like, she's, like, in a good mood. So you're about to bring us down with the next thing.
Eddie
Yes, that's what. But that's Literally what she said is, welcome to Houston.
Bobby Bones
And then this happens right after.
Eddie
Happens right after.
Commercial Voice
Okay.
Eddie
Like a minute later. Okay, I'm in. I'm driving, and all of a sudden, on the passenger side window, boom, boom, boom. There is a dude going 70 to 75 miles an hour, hanging out the driver's side window, banging on the passenger window.
Bobby Bones
He's hanging out his window, out his.
Lunchbox
Window, banging on your passenger window.
Eddie
Yes.
Amy
What?
Eddie
He's. He's driving his car with his right hand, and with his left hand, open.
Amy
Boom, boom, boom.
Lunchbox
And you guys are going 70 miles.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
He's on the right side of your car.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
It. And I mean, he's close enough driving 70 miles an hour that he's slapping your car with his arm, like, open, but his car is close enough. Got it.
Eddie
I am telling you guys, I. At the first boom, I thought it was a gunshot. And we. And I don't know what.
Bobby Bones
And this is right up. Welcome to Houston.
Eddie
About a minute later. About a minute later. And my wife's like, what was that? And then he just zoomed off. And I was like, why did he do that? How did he not fall out of his vehicle? Like, he is out. And to get that close.
Bobby Bones
His car didn't hit your car.
Eddie
That's what I'm saying.
Lunchbox
Going 70.
Bobby Bones
70 or even 75.
Eddie
No, he was probably going. And then he zoomed like he was going, probably 85 to that. He just gassed it and was out of there. And we just sat there like, what in the world? And the kids go, dad, why'd he do that? Dad, why'd he do that? I'm like, welcome to Houston.
Bobby Bones
Oh, that's it.
Lunchbox
That's how you tell a story.
Bobby Bones
Brought it back, dude.
Eddie
It was ba nana.
Amy
Well, so if I were to be telling this story, y' all would ask. Well, right away.
Bobby Bones
Well, let us ask him then.
Amy
Okay. I'm just saying, you better ask.
Bobby Bones
What did you do?
Amy
Yes.
Eddie
Literally, we have no idea.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So you did nothing, and the guy was just welcoming you to Houston?
Eddie
I. I guess. I. I don't know if he thought our car. Maybe he had gotten into something earlier on in the highway. I don't know.
Lunchbox
And he thought you were someone else.
Eddie
Yeah. And he was like, oh, that's the vehicle. And I. I'm telling you.
Amy
Yeah. So you didn't cut him off?
Eddie
Anyway, there was no honk. There was no nothing. It was just boom, boom, boom.
Bobby Bones
And then you yelled, welcome to Innocent.
Eddie
And my wife's like, oh, my gosh. Oh, my Gosh.
Bobby Bones
Do you think you were confused for someone else?
Eddie
I do.
Bobby Bones
Or do you think you accidentally made a bad driving decision?
Eddie
I could have.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but.
Amy
Oh, he could have.
Bobby Bones
No. You often do.
Eddie
But the thing is, I hadn't. I was in the same lane. It's not like I had switched lanes or anything.
Bobby Bones
Well, I'm sorry that happened to you, especially with your kids in the car.
Amy
Yeah, that was scary.
Eddie
And you guys were laughing at the beginning of this, and now I've never.
Lunchbox
Heard of that happening.
Bobby Bones
I think it's crazy for a car to go 75 and drive that close to another car.
Lunchbox
Correct.
Bobby Bones
And slap their window, and you lean out while you're driving. That's all. That's.
Amy
Yeah. There's so many things happening here.
Lunchbox
I'm assuming they were probably going 40.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Lunchbox
And then he sped off going 50.
Bobby Bones
And they probably did cut lunchboxes. Probably cut him off.
Lunchbox
Probably veered into the. One of the lanes or whatever and made a man.
Eddie
There's no way we were going 50, 40 miles an hour. We were on I10. I mean, we were on the freaking highway.
Bobby Bones
Oh, the freaking highway.
Lunchbox
The freaking.
Bobby Bones
Okay, that's different than the highway.
Eddie
But I don't understand.
Amy
Well, I didn't. It is. Houston's aggressive. Like, that's where I've been flipped off the most.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Eddie
That's all the cities.
Bobby Bones
That's probably number one, 100.
Lunchbox
I was in Houston one time, and I saw a car go around all these other cars and then, boom, Run into a truck. And that truck spun out, and the car kept going like he did nothing.
Bobby Bones
Did you see the guy go, welcome to Houston?
Lunchbox
No. He probably said it, though.
Bobby Bones
Abby saw something crazy. Now, Abby wasn't a part of this, but what did you see?
Abby
Oh, man. Yeah. So it was like New Year's Day. It was like 1:30 in the morning because we were still downtown trying to find an Uber. Couldn't get home, so we had to get, like, a bicyclist to ride us as far as possible. So she dropped us off on this intersection downtown. We're crossing the street, and I hear a boom. And I look over, and it's a guy got hit. A guy on a scooter, and he was face down on the street. And it was the most traumatic thing I've ever seen, and I'm still scarred.
Bobby Bones
Were you like, welcome to Nashville?
Abby
Yeah. I was like, oh, my gosh.
Lunchbox
Did he make it?
Bobby Bones
Did you go to him?
Abby
Yeah, we went to him.
Bobby Bones
You did?
Abby
Yeah. Was he breathing like the first ones? Yeah, he Was.
Bobby Bones
Was he drunk?
Abby
I don't really know. I don't know. But he was unconscious. And then they turned him over and they were like, okay, an ambulance is coming and all that. And then he started, like, yelling. It was really bad. He was like. And an ambulance came and took him off.
Bobby Bones
And were you there when the ambulance got there?
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
While you stayed?
Abby
We stayed because I was very invested. I mean, I was literally there. We saw him, and I was, like, a foot away from him.
Bobby Bones
Was it crazy to see that happen?
Abby
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Did you see the impact, or did you look over and see him fly through the air?
Abby
I just saw him, like, sliding. I didn't see the impact. I just saw him, like, sliding. And my eyes are so bad. So I was like, what is that thing?
Bobby Bones
Is that you can assume anybody on a scooter at 1:30 in the morning is drunk?
Eddie
Yes. 100.
Amy
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
But I. I thought.
Bobby Bones
Was it in your mind, man?
Abby
I don't know. Because there was, like, a cop car sitting there and there were blue lights. So I'm like, what if that kind of blinded a driver or the driver was drunk? I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Because a 130 driver, not that they're all drunk, but odds are. Well, I don't even understand, but odds are there are more people that have alcohol.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
At 1:30 in the morning. I'm sorry. You saw that and you went up to him. I. Was he eaten up with, like, pavement rash?
Abby
Yeah, it was bad. I never want to see that again. So I am very cautious now. Driving.
Bobby Bones
What was he yelling?
Abby
Just like. I think he came to and realized what was happening, and he was just. It was like a screech that I don't want to hear again. It's bad.
Bobby Bones
Welcome to Houston.
Lunchbox
That would be crazy.
Bobby Bones
Dude.
Eddie
That is nuts.
Bobby Bones
I don't think.
Eddie
I mean, it's not funny. Not funny. It's scary.
Bobby Bones
I hope it's okay, Abby.
Abby
I do, too. I'm worried. Call in if you're lunchbox.
Bobby Bones
I hope you're okay.
Eddie
I. I've recovered.
Bobby Bones
You're not shaking.
Eddie
I'm recovered.

Wake up. Wake up in the morning. Then you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turning. Then you hear Eddie Emmy launch box. More Game two. Scooby Steve ran trying to put you through. Bobby's on the mic. So you know what this is? This is the Bobby Vaughn. Now time for the morning Corny morning.
Eddie
The morning corny.
Amy
What do dogs eat for breakfast?
Eddie
What?
Amy
Pooched eggs.
Bobby Bones
That was the morning corny. Not a good one.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
That's a bad one. Tuesday reviews day. I watched a lot of stuff over the holiday for a couple of reasons. Because one, wife's pregnant, ain't moving around a bunch, and then two, what else am I gonna do? So I watched all three of the now you see me movies. Anybody seen these? Yeah. Anybody know what they are?
Amy
Yeah. I haven't seen the third one, though, so I'm curious if it was good.
Bobby Bones
So now you see me. It's about four magicians who are trying to fight crime. Stop crime, start crime. I don't want to spoil anything, but Jesse Eisenberg. Social Network is like one of the main ones. I don't know who else is in it. Woody Harrelson. Oh, yeah.
Amy
Franco.
Bobby Bones
Dave Franco. And then Amy Adams. Yeah, they're the magicians. And the first one's from 2015, and I was pretty excited about it. Ah, it's okay. They're okay.
Lunchbox
That's the first one. Oh, they're all okay.
Bobby Bones
They're just okay. Oh, it was a fun ride, but it was kind of stupid. But as long I think if you go into it, no one is going to be stupid. They might be pretty good. I give it three out of five, rabbits out of hats.
Lunchbox
But the latest one just came out, right?
Bobby Bones
It did, yeah.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. And it was the stupidest of all. But they all kind of fit. I feel like that one, they just brought it back for the nostalgia of it. It really wasn't to make a good mo. It was like, let's get everybody back together. I thought the second one was the Dumbest of all, you did the third one I enjoyed. What do you think about the series? I'll give the whole series, like three out of five. Rabbits out of hats. Yeah, that's pretty right on. They're very cheesy, but if you like magic, I guess you like them. Yeah. What'd you give the whole series?
Amy
I haven't seen the newest one, but I loved the first one. Like that became like that year that I watched that movie. I loved it and I wanted more.
Bobby Bones
2015. I bet it was good.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
It's like Fast and the Furious, but with me. Magic. Yeah, that's a good analogy. Yeah. I watched a series from 2016 because my wife and I had watched that, the Beast in Me. And we finished it. And on TikTok, it was like, if you watch the Beast in Me, we really like the Beast in Me on Netflix, you'll like the show the Night of on hbo. We watched it. Guys. It's awesome. And I hate. I hate watching shows 10 years old because I think there are all these shows I could watch that are new and I could talk about. It's four and a half out of five New York Cities. Wow. It's one season. It's a limited series. It's called the Night of on Rotten Tomatoes. It gets a 94%. And it's worth it to go back and watch a show 10 years old.
Lunchbox
It sounds scary.
Bobby Bones
It has John Turturro in it. Who? I only know him from Severance, but he plays a lawyer. And that's all I'm gonna say. The Night Of. I highly recommend this series. It's eight episodes, I think, but it was amazing. A little dark, but not scary. Not scary at all. It's about a. I hate shows where a minority gets unfairly framed. Because I always feel so bad, I'm like, of course, the stupid system. But that's a bit what this is without telling you anything else. Yeah, it's great. So watch that. And then I. I watched the Long Walk, which is a movie where they have to keep walking, and the person who walks the longest wins. But everybody else who can't walk three miles an hour gets shot and killed.
Lunchbox
Oh, yeah. I saw the preview to this.
Bobby Bones
I give that four out of five. I really liked it. And it wasn't so, so long, but it was really good.
Amy
How do they know their speed?
Bobby Bones
They have a watch that tells them if they go below three, they get a warning. If they get a second warning, they're like, okay, we're gonna shoot you next. Third Warning shot.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
And so it's like a dystopian type thing where America has basically gone to crap. We have no money and there's a lottery and they pick kids to walk, one from each state. And so these kids show up and they're walking. And if they win, they win tons of money to take care of their families for the state. Yeah, Mike, you watched it? Yeah, it's good.
Lunchbox
It's good, huh?
Bobby Bones
Graphic at times. Yeah, it's really good. So I give that four out of five tennis shoes. And then I watched a movie. The only movie from 2025 that I give 5 out of 5. I am so precious with my 5 out of fives. I didn't post about it because I just wanted to share it with you guys. I'm not sure if anybody has seen it. I don't know if Mike has reviewed it that I remember. And no, I googled what's a good movie. That's all I googled. The Life of Chuck. Have you seen it?
Amy
No. It's on my watch list because I watched the trailer. I was like, that looks so good.
Bobby Bones
Taylor Swift's ex is the main Tom Hiddleston. Yeah, Loki. Uh huh.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
I don't even want to say too much about it because I kind of want you to go into it not knowing much. My wife is already asleep. She tends to do that being pregnant. Go to sleep earlier. So I google what's a good movie. Life of Chuck comes up. It had just been put on Hulu and didn't know much about it. Hopped into it was like, huh, I wonder what this is about. Felt that way at the first part of it. By the end of it, I wanted to keep going. It was awesome. It was good. Made me feel good. Have you seen it? Yeah, it's good. It's one of those movies that came out and nobody talked about. I didn't know it. I thought it was like a straight to streaming movie. It came out in theaters. What did you give it when you saw it? 4.5 out of 5. Yeah, I gave it 5 out of 5. It's my only 5 out of 5, maybe ever in movies.
Lunchbox
Feel good, feel good. Happy movie.
Bobby Bones
I don't want to tell you that, but okay, but it didn't.
Lunchbox
I just don't know if I want to watch it like all these, like scary.
Amy
Well, Bobby, just give it a five out of.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's not scary or suspenseful. Okay.
Amy
He doesn't like scary.
Bobby Bones
Shut up.
Eddie
He gets nightmares.
Lunchbox
He gets scared.
Bobby Bones
My wife says the same stuff. To me, because we almost started watching a movie called the Companion, which I have not seen. Have you seen the Companion? Oh, yes.
Commercial Voice
Well, I like that.
Bobby Bones
Scary. It's not like horror scary like that you don't like. I think you would like that. So I said, maybe we watch the Companion. And she goes, it's scary. You don't like that. So that. Yeah, that's where that comes from.
Amy
Okay, so it's not how I said it like that, though. And. And. And that's just from knowing you and.
Bobby Bones
You saying you don't like. I'm getting better at it, though. Life of Chuck is not scary. But I give it 5 out of 5. It reminds me of you making my dreams come true. 500 days of summer. Yeah, 500 days of summer. Not about the same thing. But that. That kind of movie made me feel. It's a great movie. Yeah. So there's a bunch of recommendations there.
Lunchbox
The COVID he's sitting on a bench. He kind of looks like. He's like Forest Gump. A little bit.
Bobby Bones
It.
Eddie
Yep.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Don't judge a movie by its cover. A wise man. Amy. Tuesday reviews day.
Amy
I watched Age of Disclosure, the one you paid me well. Yeah, well, you sent me the $25 because you have to either buy it or rent it.
Bobby Bones
A documentary about what the government's been keeping from us with all government officials. High ranked government officials.
Amy
So I bought it. I can watch it again if I want to.
Bobby Bones
There you go.
Amy
And, you know, I don't think I will.
Bobby Bones
I don't think I will either.
Amy
But it was good. And I was entertained, fascinated, locked in, Convinced. Yes. More so than ever before. However, I just kind of wish they could show more. You know, there's a lot of.
Bobby Bones
From their phone. Like, do you think they have recorded conversation with aliens?
Amy
Well, they talk about a lot that they have seen, but we don't get to see it. Which I understand. But it's like you're listening to all these accounts and they are reputable people, so that helps.
Bobby Bones
Literal physicists at Yale, Harvard saying it doesn't matter.
Amy
High government officials, different people, Secretary of State, military people, contractors. Yeah, I mean, the whole thing just kind of blew me away. But then I was like, well, where's all this stuff y' all are talking about?
Lunchbox
I see what she's saying.
Amy
I just wish, like, could I see a photograph or a photograph?
Bobby Bones
Who calls a photograph? I hear it on a phonograph.
Eddie
A picture, maybe.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
I don't know that it was. It's like, good to watch. Like Entertaining. But I just wanted you to watch it because I wanted you to see that I'm not crazy.
Amy
Yeah, you're not crazy.
Bobby Bones
There's no heat signature on. On these things that they're. They're even. They have recorded. There's nothing. Anyway, what do you give it?
Amy
No, the Tic Tac. That's what I give it. I give it 4 out of 5 Tic Tacs.
Lunchbox
4 out of 5 is high.
Amy
I know. I just said it was like I was drawn. I just.
Eddie
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Photographs.
Eddie
25 out of 5.
Bobby Bones
Photographs.
Amy
Photographs. Or like, a little video or something. I'm just having to, like, trust what these people are saying.
Bobby Bones
But that's the point. These people are not just people wearing tinfoil on their hats.
Amy
Exactly.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. They're real life. Again, physicists. Not even for the government. So that's all.
Amy
So, like, right now, if you're like, do you believe what these people are saying? Like, gun to my head, I'd say, yes, I believe them.
Bobby Bones
Me too. They have no reason to lie.
Amy
But I just wish, you know, the documentary could have shown more.
Bobby Bones
There it is. We'll do more of these on the podcast today. Tuesday, reviews day. Thank you. I saw a celebrity eating dinner. And if you guys can guess it, I'll give you guys 12 questions. I'll give you this money here out of my cash cubby.
Lunchbox
We're going 12 questions.
Bobby Bones
Get 12 questions and you get one guess. You can yell at any time what your guess is, but you'll go, yes or no questions. If you jump in with your guests, you can't play anymore. Okay, go, Amy. 12 questions. Why? There are four of you. Let's do 16 questions. Nice. I would do 20 or. That doesn't fit. Well, I guess it does. Five questions each. I'm an idiot. 20 questions. Amy. Go.
Amy
Is it a guy?
Bobby Bones
Yes. What celebrity did I see at dinner? So much? So I'll give you another hint. I was walking by and I went, what the. And just kept walking. Okay, it's a guy. That's one lunchbox.
Eddie
Were you in Nashville?
Bobby Bones
Yes. That's two. Was this celebrity, don't forget Morgan, sexist of you.
Lunchbox
Sorry, Morgan.
Amy
Is he an actor?
Bobby Bones
Yes, that was my question.
Lunchbox
See?
Bobby Bones
Shut up.
Eddie
Don't even act like that.
Bobby Bones
Eddie.
Lunchbox
Is he under the age of 40?
Bobby Bones
I have to look. I'm looking. He is over 40, Amy.
Amy
Married.
Bobby Bones
So the answer is no. But he's over 40. Yeah, I don't know that, but I can look. So that gives you a hint there.
Eddie
No, no, don't fall for that. That's playing his game. Playing his game.
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Amy
Yes. Married.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So he's a male. I saw him in Nashville. He's an actor. He's over 40 and he's married. There are five questions in lunchbox.
Eddie
Married to someone famous?
Bobby Bones
No. Six questions.
Amy
Morgan, was he in a show that you've watched?
Bobby Bones
Yes. Seven questions.
Lunchbox
Is he in a TV show that is known for being shot here in Nashville?
Bobby Bones
No. Eight questions. Amy, we're looking for the celebrity that I saw at dinner.
Amy
Well, you might have to look this up, but does that mean like he's. He's moved here, like he lives here.
Bobby Bones
Here.
Amy
Or was he visiting?
Bobby Bones
I don't know and I don't know if it's going to say that. So let me look.
Amy
Feel like we've had some.
Bobby Bones
Okay. I have now googled it and it.
Okta Advertiser
Says.
Bobby Bones
Information is kept private but spends a significant time in Los Angeles for filming. So I would say it's inconclusive because I don't know that. And when I googled that, I read to you what it said.
Eddie
So let's strike that question.
Bobby Bones
That's a question and conclusive. Meaning because you got information from that. It's not someone who lives here that you know of charge. The question says. Yeah, she's still charged for that question. Lunchbox.
Eddie
Is he black?
Bobby Bones
No. For it. Morgan.
Amy
Is he. He one of a. Like, is he an A lister in this past year?
Bobby Bones
It's tough to define, but I'm going to go no as a lister because a lister to me is Taylor Swift. DiCaprio. That's super famous. I'm going to go, no, not Leo.
Eddie
Mark that off.
Bobby Bones
Eddie, you have 11 questions down. We're trying to figure out the actor that I saw having dinner. It's a dude. Salman Nashville, actor, over 40, married, not married to someone famous. This was in a TV show that I watched. The TV show is not known for being filmed in Nashville and it's not confirmed if he lives in Nashville. Not black. Not an A list. During the past year, Bobby watches a.
Eddie
Lot of shows really hard.
Lunchbox
Is he. And you know, actors go back and forth, but is he known as a ripped in shape actor?
Bobby Bones
Mike, can I show you? And you give the answer to this because I think that's a. I would say maybe, but. I wouldn't say he's known.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Yeah, he has been so.
Lunchbox
Yeah. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
But I wouldn't say he's known for it. You. You could tell who that was, right? Yeah. Okay.
Eddie
What?
Amy
I don't know.
Lunchbox
I got someone.
Bobby Bones
There's you each get two more questions.
Eddie
Oh, yeah. Now that you say not ripped, I. I have to X. My guess.
Bobby Bones
Did you know that person if they live here or not? I don't think so. You don't think they live here? I didn't know. No.
Amy
Amy, does he have kids?
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Lunchbox
Do you have to look that up?
Eddie
Oh. Oh, shoot.
Amy
This person lives here.
Lunchbox
We each have two questions left.
Bobby Bones
Well, Amy has one left now, but let's watch her up.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Ooh. He was sitting on the aisle too. And when I walked, I didn't mean to. To, like, go whoa and stare down.
Lunchbox
He probably saw you do that.
Bobby Bones
Maybe. But I was walking by, and I saw him, and I went, whoa. And looked right at him. And then as soon as we got out, because we was. My wife and a couple of friends, I was like, did you just see Nobody. Nobody saw him but me. Okay, lunchbox.
Eddie
I'm trying to think of a TV show you watch, man. There's just too many.
Lunchbox
They say. They say he's a TV actor.
Eddie
Yeah.
Amy
That TV show that Bobby watches, has he also been.
Eddie
Is he also known as a movie star?
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Lunchbox
Love it.
Amy
Morgan, is he bald?
Bobby Bones
No. Oh, that's 15 questions.
Eddie
You were thinking, oh, oh.
Bobby Bones
Has he.
Lunchbox
Ever played a superhero?
Eddie
Let me look. I don't know.
Lunchbox
Yeah, he's gonna do that.
Bobby Bones
Don't worry.
Eddie
Andy, let me check back.
Bobby Bones
No, stupid.
Lunchbox
I'm thinking of.
Eddie
Oh, my God.
Bobby Bones
Okay, each have one more question. Again, you can jump in anytime. If we finish all four of these questions, you'll all write your answer down. What celebrity did I see just sitting at dinner?
Amy
Amy, does he have a podcast?
Bobby Bones
I can look. I think he's been on them, but he doesn't host.
Lunchbox
He doesn't have his own.
Bobby Bones
What I see when I search that is him guesting on podcasts, but I don't really see him hosting. At least not a big podcast.
Lunchbox
Okay, he does not.
Bobby Bones
He doesn't. Okay, everybody has a podcast, so I don't want to say no, but I don't see it. I'd have him on my podcast.
Eddie
Yeah, I think you would.
Amy
You know who it is?
Eddie
I think I know who it is.
Lunchbox
You're gonna guess it now?
Bobby Bones
You gonna do a question first think or. Or no, because you can risk it.
Amy
Go for it, dude.
Eddie
So if I ask my question, then do I can yell my name?
Bobby Bones
You have to yell before they do. Yeah.
Eddie
Okay.
Bobby Bones
For the money up here on the counter from the money hole. Go ahead.
Eddie
I don't know which one to do?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Five seconds.
Eddie
Lunchbox would like to wager a guess.
Bobby Bones
Okay, go ahead.
Eddie
This person is not known as being ripped.
Bobby Bones
Ripped.
Eddie
But for his role as Jack Ryan, he was ripped. He is in movies. Bobby watched him in the office. Give me John Krasinski.
Amy
Boom.
Bobby Bones
That's how you do it.
Eddie
He's married. He's over 40. Who's he married to? I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Emily Blunt.
Amy
I know he said no, but he said she's.
Lunchbox
She's not.
Eddie
I don't know who that is.
Bobby Bones
It is Emily Blunt's wildly famous she. It is not John Krasinski. I'm sorry.
Amy
Devil Wears Prada.
Eddie
Never seen that.
Bobby Bones
Morgan.
Eddie
Dang it.
Bobby Bones
Lunchbox has been eliminated.
Amy
Okay, is it. Is he on a newer TV show or an older one that you know him from that you watched?
Bobby Bones
I would say newer, yes. Wouldn't you, Mike? I would say newer.
Eddie
Should have asked a question.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I thought so, too. And then immediately come in with your answer.
Eddie
Yeah, but then if I say you said yes, we all have been.
Bobby Bones
But you'd have been ready. You'd have been fired.
Eddie
You're right.
Bobby Bones
Fired out of a cannon. Crap, Eddie.
Lunchbox
Okay, I have a guess. I'm guessing, but I'm going to ask a question.
Bobby Bones
Good. That's the smart way to do it.
Lunchbox
And my question is, has this actor shared the screen with Brad Pitt? He's gonna look it up.
Bobby Bones
That's a hard question if I don't know specifically.
Eddie
I mean, that's so many movies.
Lunchbox
Okay, I'm not trying to help you with my question.
Eddie
I'm out. Don't worry about me.
Bobby Bones
Mike, do you. They have not.
Lunchbox
Okay, that's not the person I thought.
Bobby Bones
And so Lunchbox didn't get his 20th question. So I'll give you three a hint as you write your answer down.
Lunchbox
Love it. I'm still writing my answer down slowly.
Bobby Bones
I think the hint will be blonde hair.
Eddie
Oh, no.
Bobby Bones
Okay, you guys will have a. I'll give you five. I'll give you five seconds sense to think about it.
Eddie
He's married to someone famous.
Bobby Bones
3, 2.
Lunchbox
I don't know his name.
Bobby Bones
Okay, well, if you get it even as, like, his character, I'll give it to you. Okay, if it's only his character. Okay, Amy, what do you have? I have it.
Amy
I had Dax Shepard, but.
Bobby Bones
Oh, that's a good guy.
Amy
And he's married to Chris, but he.
Bobby Bones
Does live here some, too.
Amy
And he does live here. I can't get him out of my mind. Like, and now that.
Bobby Bones
Not Dax Shepard, but quality Guess. Morgan.
Amy
Yeah, I don't think this is right because I don't know that he's. He remarried, but. Jason Sudas.
Bobby Bones
Oh, Jason. Not him. Not really. Blonde hair. I don't think. I know.
Amy
And you said the blonde and that threw me.
Bobby Bones
Eddie, I think you might have it. Because when you said that. I think you might have it.
Lunchbox
But when I said what?
Bobby Bones
That you didn't know his real name.
Lunchbox
Because I have his name now.
Bobby Bones
Because I didn't know his real name.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
But I recognized him. I recognized him immediately.
Lunchbox
You know who this, this is? You know who my guess is?
Bobby Bones
Who's your guess?
Lunchbox
Glenn Powell.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I would have known his name.
Eddie
He's not married.
Amy
Maybe he's not married.
Eddie
He doesn't have kids.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah, okay.
Amy
But I. I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Okay, so I'm just going to give you hints, cuz nobody got it until someone gets it. You get no money.
Lunchbox
Oh, no money.
Amy
Is it the lead actor from the Boys?
Bobby Bones
No, no, that be. I don't know his name, but he was superhero.
Amy
Aren't they anti heroes?
Bobby Bones
Fair enough.
Eddie
See, I was thinking that Jesse Felms guy, but he's married to someone famous.
Bobby Bones
Jesse Plemons, that's his name. Yeah, he's my favorite actor.
Eddie
That's why.
Bobby Bones
Okay, this person was in a movie in the 80s and a TV show currently, but he also plays the person that he was in the 80s.
Eddie
Oh, the guy from Karate Kid.
Bobby Bones
Yes. Johnny. That's not the blonde dude. William Zabka.
Amy
The. The instructor.
Eddie
Hold on.
Lunchbox
No, no, no. The villa. The villain. His enemy.
Bobby Bones
And. But he's good in Cobra Kai, which is the massive show on Netflix. I didn't talk to him or anything.
Lunchbox
That's kind of cool.
Bobby Bones
It was. I was stunned. I went, whoa, right next to him.
Lunchbox
It's Johnny.
Bobby Bones
Johnny. Okay, well, thanks for playing. I'll keep the money. Lobby Bone Show. Bonehead. Story of the day.
Eddie
This story comes to us from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A 38 year old man got in a fight. So he's wanted for assault. When police respond, he takes off running. They're like, oh, we got the suspect. He's running. He's running eastbound. And they lose him. Like, where is this guy? And they walk by a church. There's a nativity scene out front.
Bobby Bones
No way.
Lunchbox
I love it.
Bobby Bones
And that's awesome.
Eddie
He's standing there as one of the four wise men. Yes.
Bobby Bones
One of the four what?
Eddie
Wiseman.
Bobby Bones
Sounds like a last name.
Lunchbox
Does sound like a last name.
Bobby Bones
Hello. Jonathan Wiseman, Central Heating and Air.
Eddie
Well, isn't that what they are?
Bobby Bones
Sure. But I just. It's interesting how you say it.
Amy
Wiseman sounds like Heisman.
Lunchbox
Yeah, yeah.
Amy
Wiseman, Heisman.
Lunchbox
They were wise men.
Bobby Bones
How do you say the guy that shoots webs out of his hand?
Eddie
Spider Man.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's not Spiderman.
Eddie
But Spider man is M A N and wise men is.
Bobby Bones
Okay, you got it.
Eddie
That's Wise men Is.
Bobby Bones
Do it again.
Eddie
Wiseman.
Bobby Bones
The four wise men. Got it. That counts. You're absolutely not wrong.
Eddie
Am I supposed to pause the four.
Bobby Bones
There are four wise men.
Eddie
Oh, so I am supposed to pause.
Bobby Bones
Well, it's two words. And also, wiseman sounds like a last name.
Eddie
Okay. I just.
Bobby Bones
I mean, you're not wrong.
Eddie
Yeah. In my church days, I just said Wiseman.
Bobby Bones
It was like the four wise men.
Eddie
Yeah, like when I went to church.
Bobby Bones
Frankincense.
Amy
So. But what did he make five? Like.
Bobby Bones
No, I think. Oh, did he take one?
Eddie
Yeah, no, he threw one to the side. He was a horse.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Was he just wearing whatever he was wearing, too?
Bobby Bones
If he'd have thrown, like.
Lunchbox
Yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
A little hood over.
Eddie
Yeah. The picture appears that he's wearing his clothes.
Lunchbox
Oh, yeah, yeah. Stand out.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah. The Wiseman didn't have a Glock.
Commercial Voice
No.
Bobby Bones
All right, that's it.
Eddie
I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
