That's getsunday.com. let's go. I got my diaphragm right in my sternum. Chest muscle. When I breathe in, it hurts.
Amy
Why?
Bobby
I was asking my wife that. I was like, why is my chest hurting, like, in this muscle right here? Because, like, I breathe and it. It tightens up. And then she said, oh, mine's doing that too. It's from holding the baby. And that muscle, because you're bent over,
Chris
you've never done that. Like, you're not used to that.
Derek
Oh, yeah.
Bobby
But I mean, I don't think you would be either right now.
Chris
No, no, I wouldn't. But I'm gonna say that's. That's interesting because, like. Yeah. Who does this with their arms?
Bobby
I thought you were hating on me.
Chris
No, no, no.
Bobby
You're a loser. I take immediate offense for no reason. Yeah, because I hold. Because you bend over and you hold your arms in. If I'm holding the baby and it tight, so that just contracts the whole time. And so what we got is we have one of those rollers from the gym.
Amy
Foam roller.
Bobby
Yeah, yeah. And if you, like, roll your back. Because what's weird is muscles are connected to other muscles.
Chris
They're all connected.
Bobby
Yeah. So anyway, I've been doing that. I thought I was, like, having a heart attack or something. I was like, what are the odds? Finally have a baby and have a heart attack.
Amy
That would be terrible.
Bobby
Just like that.
Chris
So sad.
Bobby
There it is.
Amy
That would be so terrible.
Bobby
You know what else was sad? Is that I saw more pictures. I'm glad you brought it up yesterday because I didn't know much about that plane crash into the fire truck. That was a big story yesterday.
Amy
Terrible. And you dying of a heart attack. Terrible. This terrible. Terrible.
Chris
The plane. The plane looked bad.
Amy
It was bad. Wow.
Chris
Didn't realize.
Bobby
And do we have the audio of the 911 operator? So I did see, like, a headline, a quote from a headline where the. Where the. Maybe the air traffic controller, air traffic
Amy
control was like, I messed up.
Bobby
I messed up.
Chris
Oh, man.
Bobby
Yeah. So I have the air traffic control audio of the Runway crash. Here you go. 4195, stop there, please. Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. Dr. That's crazy. Especially after seeing it. New York's LaGuardia Airport was shut down Monday after an Air Canada jet struck a fire truck while landing late Sunday night. The two pilots. It was completely caved in. The two pilots of the regional jet were killed. The nose of the plane was crushed in the collision that occurred around 11:40pm 72 passengers and four crew members were on the plane. 41 were taken to the hospital, 32 were released. This is somewhat newish news. The two officers were in stable condition with non life threatening injuries. But two officers were on the fire truck, so they were hurt. The Jazz Aviation flight operating on behalf of Air Canada originated from Montreal. In the moments before the crash, an air traffic controller could be heard on a radio transmission giving clearance to a vehicle to cross part of the tarmac and then trying to stop it. What are the freaking odds?
Amy
I mean. Yeah. And they were dealing with another emergency, obviously. That's why the fire truck. And then, yeah, he was saying, I messed up. And then another air traffic controller was like, hey, you did the best you could. And that's what people were all like, what? Why would you tell me? But I don't think they knew the severity of the. I don't know. My speculation is they knew something had happened, but they don't know yet that people have died. Also, they are trained to stay calm. I mean, what's he supposed to yell at him over the thing? You idiot. I can't believe you gave it the go ahead. Like, the whole thing. Like, I keep thinking of the guy that gave the truck the go ahead or the plane the go ahead or whatever. Just like the one that said I messed up. Like, his life is forever changed. Like, holding that weight of that responsibility.
Bobby
I think about the pilots that died and, like, their families.
Amy
Yeah, them too.
Bobby
Because somebody made a bad decision.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
Oh, that is a terrible story. And again, we talked about it yesterday. It's just different. Until you see it. Then it's a different. It just hit completely different. I mean, it took that thing and smashed it. Because we thought airplane and fire truck. Airplane's gonna win.
Chris
I will say that Tick tock. Really helps with that. Kind of giving you a visual of what the stuff we talk about. Because, yeah, you think about it, you're like, oh, that's crazy. But once you see it, helicopter crashes, plane crash, stuff like that. Like, wow, it really makes it real.
Bobby
Another story about a girl. She was 11 years old. She vanished in 2020. And then after a while, you just kind of. You don't give up, but you just assume the worst. It's a bit of the Savannah Guthrie's mom story where at this point, she's not back, she's old. This story happened in 2020 with an 11 year old, except they found her living in North Carolina under a different name. Lunchbox. You know about this story?
Eddie
Yeah. So her mom is the one that had custody and she quit communicating with, I guess it's Child Services of California. Had initials and I assume that's what it is. And they were like, whoa. And then she disappeared and so did the mom. Didn't find her. And then they just recently did an updated, like, this is what she might look like now. And then a couple months later, they got a tip that the kid was maybe in North Carolina under a fake name. They did some research, found that girl, fake name at a school, and it is her.
Bobby
So they do say a California girl who was kidnapped in 2020.
Eddie
Yes, but they believe she was with her mom and no charges have been filed.
Bobby
What about the dad? Was the dad in the picture? Was he just thinking that the kid was gone?
Eddie
I think they separated or divorced or whatever and that's why she had custody of the daughter. And maybe she feared for her safety and so she fled, I don't know. And so they're doing investigating, but as of now, the mom has not been charged with a crime.
Bobby
You would think there'd be some crime, though, if you're just running away and hiding and changing your kid's name. You don't change your kid's name unless you're running from something. Unless they do, and I'm saying it could be a crime where even if they're hiding from somebody, like where that threat's coming from, because you may be changing your kid's name for safety reasons like Lunchbox alluded to, and you're doing that because you feel threatened, that's a crime. If like somebody's like, I'm going to kill you.
Chris
Yeah.
Bobby
Like there's, there's something here is not right on one side of it. Because you don't just grab a kid and change their name if everything's normal.
Eddie
Also, how long does it take the girl to accept that that's her new name? Like, you have to, she's old enough to know her name. And then to be like, no, you're gonna go by this name now. You're gonna go, you have to drill her over and over and over. Don't mess up. You are not this girl. You are this girl. That's crazy.
Bobby
The headline was a little misleading because they make it sound like a 11 year old was kidnapped and they just find her years later and she's got to change name. But then you read into it and it's like the mom did for whatever reason. But then I read, well, they changed their name. So what's happening here? Like something, Something ain't good. Is Happening around the room. Amy.
Amy
So I was watching the police body cam footage of the arrest from Taylor. Frankie Paul, you know, the 2023 video and what lunchbox brought up yesterday. We've seen the inside the house footage, but there's now police body cam footage of when she was getting arrested. And what's crazy to me is that the guy Her.
Bobby
Dakota.
Amy
Dakota. He's seen begging, no arrest me.
Bobby
Is there an adult named Dakota that's not a douchebag?
Amy
Wait, who?
Chris
Dak Prescott is Dakota.
Bobby
But he's Dak. He changed it because he didn't want to be Dakota.
Amy
Well, who's other than Dakota Fanning? I don't know. Another Dakota.
Bobby
Good point.
Eddie
I think Bristol Palin's ex dude is named Dakota.
Amy
That I believe is correct.
Bobby
I just feel like if you're a dude and you stick with the name Dakota that you're. You're kind of living a life leading into being a douchebag.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby
It's unfair of me to say. I completely agree with myself that it's unfair.
Amy
Yeah. It's just interesting because you were inundated with all this stuff. At least my algorithm is right now, for days about this, which, you know, I feel horrible for the daughter, Taylor's daughter, who's having to relive this all over again. However, if she. If it's, you know, in her or.
Bobby
How old is that daughter?
Amy
How old is she now? Lunchbox.
Eddie
Do you know, man, she's got like, three kids, so that kid is probably five, six.
Bobby
So there's no reliving then if she's six. Cause she didn't remember it the first time.
Amy
Well, Taylor was on TMZ saying, my daughter's having to relive this whole thing. And then I kind of.
Bobby
Well, maybe an older daughter. It's not the one hit by a cheer. Maybe it's an older daughter that maybe, like, lived through this situation.
Amy
Maybe.
Bobby
Do you think I was unfair about the Dakota name? Or does that sound like a douchebag name for a dude?
Chris
I didn't really take offense to I don't know many Dakotas.
Bobby
Me either. Just feel like a douchebag name.
Chris
Maybe there's two or three douchebags.
Amy
We probably have a Dakota listener who's probably sitting there. I'm not a douchebag.
Bobby
And if so, please reach out.
Amy
I could be completely wrong.
Bobby
Let us know.
Amy
Yeah, we. We could be wrong. It was just the whole thing perplexes me. Like, did so many people are giving their analysis of it online and their video. Yeah. Of the Whole situation of that. Clearly, because he's filming it. He had baited her. Who knows the abuse that happened before he started filming, like towards her. Allegedly. Again, this is speculation, but it's all speculation. It's all speculation, but people weighing in. Then it makes you think like she's, they're like she's reactive here. Like this is reactive abuse. So therefore she, you don't act that way for no reason. And so then maybe he did something and then now and then he's filming
Bobby
her, there's still no reason to do that, what she did. Even if he did something.
Chris
And we don't even know if the reasons are like just words.
Bobby
Yeah. And I think we know too.
Amy
Yeah, we don't know.
Bobby
We don't know what's happening behind closed doors. Everybody's speculating. They're just looking for clicks.
Amy
That was part of my. Me bringing this up is like everybody's weighing in and it's like we only know a smidgen of what is actually happening in these people's lives. If I think of like even in our lives here, like we share a lot of our lives, but we don't share at all. There's so much that like Bobby knows about my life that's not public where if certain things went public, they still would never know. But you know, every detail.
Chris
You know, like, hey, what do you know, man?
Bobby
Hey, don't worry about it.
Eddie
Tell us some more.
Bobby
I tell, hey, you guys will never look at it the same. Okay.
Amy
Yeah, that's what it sounds like. No, I just think that like people, you just build this whole storyline based on the little information that you have. And like you would have no idea. And it's difficult. So I just thought, I just thought that was interesting that now all of a sudden Dakota's, you know, we have footage of him begging to be arrested. So then if he's like, did he change his mind real quick? Like, never mind. Don't take her away, take me.
Bobby
Well, I do think you have like minded people being together. Crazy attract crazy.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
Now at times non crazy and crazy will be together, but just for a second. Non crazy realizes crazy is crazy pretty quick. And those relationships typically do not manifest into something that is with children, long lasting because they were together for years.
Amy
Let me ask you this.
Bobby
Yeah.
Amy
Can non crazy get with crazy? Okay. And then crazy has like, I'm doing
Bobby
A Beautiful Mind right now, putting all the lines together.
Amy
So let's say, I mean there's passion, there's love, but still he's make the Guy's the crazy one. The girl's not. Okay, just for the sake of my story. And let's say he's manipulative and, you know, she's. Then she's in this. She's sucked into the vortex, if you will. So much so that she doesn't know how to get out. But then eventually she turns crazy.
Bobby
I would think you that that hits you way earlier than where this was in their relationship.
Amy
Okay. Again, I'm not saying it's them. I'm just, like, you get into a survivor, you get sort of numb to your circumstances, and then you go into survival mode. And maybe sometimes you're not rational because your brain's just trying to take care of you.
Bobby
Generally speaking, crazy attract crazy. I think they both probably have a lot of issues, and then together, the combination of that most likely manifests itself into what we see here.
Amy
There's also other factors, like alcohol's involved and, you know, it's not like these. This was a sober situation.
Bobby
I don't think about that. As far as what they were going through with drugs or alcohol, I think it's actually Mormon. No alcohol.
Amy
What you'd also think, like, one husband.
Frank
Her.
Amy
Her. Her. Her caption for the Bachelorette, you know, Book of Mormon, but it said Mormon.
Bobby
I saw that. And I thought. I thought, excellent. Great marketing. Yeah, that was a good one.
Amy
It's like, okay. And then also another thing people are losing their minds over is that, like, there's men that have been accused of abuse all over the place. Like, look at athletes, you know, basketball players, football players. But yet they're not totally canceled at times. And, like, the. It comes out as a girl doing it. She's canceled.
Bobby
Yeah. These were unfair because they were like, how does the NFL have games? Well, whenever a dude does that, they get kicked off the team. They don't cancel the whole NFL or the whole team.
Chris
Yeah, there are a lot of players.
Bobby
If it was a one, if it was a tennis match and it was a dude, they'd have to cancel the match, just like they had to cancel the show. But the player cannot play, and everybody else gets to keep playing.
Amy
What about what happened with Mike Tys? I saw someone using him as an example because, like, didn't he proven, like. And then he went on, like, a redemption tour, and, like, people, not a redemption tour.
Bobby
He went to jail.
Chris
He went to prison.
Eddie
Yeah, he went to prison.
Amy
He did okay.
Chris
Yeah.
Bobby
Yeah.
Amy
But I mean, later he won people back in a way.
Bobby
Yeah, you're right about sort of like, Chris Brown.
Amy
I mean, we knew what happened to him and then he still sells out.
Bobby
But again, you don't think she's now going to make more money? I'm not even justifying what. Because the Mike Tyson stuff is foggy in my memory because he went to jail for rape. And I'm not sure if it was like a situation where. I don't know, but I should look that up before I say anything on it. But she's still gonna make a ton of money. She's not canceled. They cancel one show. She's gonna be. She's gonna make so much money from this.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
And in a hundred different ways.
Amy
They cancel show rather it not happen.
Chris
Like, I didn't know who she was before all this.
Bobby
Now she's way more famous from this. And yeah, it's not the best look. But she didn't do anything new.
Amy
That la.
Bobby
That charge happened recently. But I'm talking about she didn't do anything new that made the show get canceled. It was just an old video that popped back up, by the way. It's terrible. It's terrible.
Chris
You're right. If like it was the Bachelor and a bunch and one of the girls that happened to one of the girls that the show would still go on. But since she was the Bachelorette.
Amy
Yeah, you can't do that. Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, I know. I get it. It's just like looking over. You're right. People. Things happen and then, I mean, some athletes, they've had it happen, but then they've been able to come back.
Bobby
Or name one.
Amy
I don't know.
Bobby
The Ray Rice play again. He beat up. Remember he beat up.
Eddie
Never played again.
Bobby
He beat up a woman in the elevator. It's done.
Amy
Good.
Chris
But I'm saying about like Tyreek.
Bobby
Didn't he.
Chris
The Tyreek.
Bobby
I don't know. We're throwing around things. Unless we know now.
Eddie
Tyreek has had a lot of run ins.
Chris
Run a lot of run ins.
Bobby
Yeah. I just want to be careful about.
Chris
Yeah.
Bobby
Assigning.
Amy
I understand. I just seen. I saw a funny one that I kind of want to say now, but then it's also not funny. But it is. I'm debating in my head right now to say it or not. What a funny video I saw of people. They're like, I heard we're canceling reality show stars for, you know, this. Whatever happened with. I don't know her exact charge. I guess domestic abuse. But this obviously would be a different case. But it showed like the graphic of the Bachelorette getting canceled and they're like, since we're going after reality stars, let's go after this one. And it was a picture of the Apprentice. Like, I was like, okay, that's funny. Like, some people just get away with stuff, you know?
Bobby
Mike Tyson went to prison in 1992. Six years served three years. He was convicted of rape. The incident involved Desiree Washington. It happened in Indianapolis in 1991. He said the whole encounter was consensual. What was weird about it, there wasn't any physical evidence in the way that people expect it. It was largely statement versus statement. And so he went to jail for that. The jury heard all the evidence, and he was convicted. Tyson has always maintained it was consensual. There was lack of definitive physical proof, and there was also a perception he didn't have strong legal representation in the case. There is no credible evidence of a conspiracy or proven misconduct that would overturn the case. So I'm still reading here. I want to make sure. Okay, go ahead.
Amy
I was thinking of. I wasn't even thinking of the rape when I thought of him. I was thinking of his marriage. And I just had to look up her name, but Robin Givens.
Bobby
Yeah, I remember Robin Givens.
Amy
Yeah. So when they were married. So I saw a clip of a Barbara Walters interview where Robyn was saying that he was violent. He would shake, push, and swing at her. So that's what I was thinking of. Cause that's what led to their divorce. But I didn't know about that rape situation. Anyway, it's all terrible. Just everybody needs to get help.
Chris
Yeah, sure. Everybody can probably use some, say, everything right there.
Bobby
Two completely different versions of the same night exist. I don't know, man. That's so long ago. Not worth getting sued over reevaluating a 1991 case. All right, Lunchbox.
Eddie
Yeah, this was a crazy one. It popped up everywhere yesterday. And everybody's like, what? How does this happen? A professional cornhole player and quadruple amputee was arrested for murder. He was driving a car, pulled out a gun, shot his passenger, and dumped the body on the side of the road.
Bobby
Like, how does a quadruple amputee drive a car, if I can ask, or shoot a gun?
Eddie
I. I don't know.
Chris
Like, how. You're right. Like, how's all that possible?
Eddie
Right? How is it possible? I don't know how it works, but they said there was two guys in the backseat, and he said, hey, help me get rid of the body. And they jumped out of the car.
Chris
Could you have prosthetics, like, that do all that?
Bobby
Yeah, you can.
Eddie
I don't, but I see him playing cornhole, and he doesn't use prosthetics.
Bobby
What does he throw?
Chris
How does he throw?
Eddie
He has, like the two, I guess, nubs you call. I don't know what you call.
Chris
So he has arms. He just doesn't have hands.
Eddie
And he flings them.
Bobby
Is he good?
Eddie
He's a professional. He's really good.
Amy
Yeah. I saw video of him.
Eddie
He's really good.
Bobby
I'm watching him. Oh, he has a lot of arm. They're not. He's not completely armless.
Chris
Okay.
Bobby
He's shooting there. Huh.
Amy
Somehow good for him.
Bobby
Oh, not good for him. If he did this, that he's able
Chris
to do all that. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get what you're saying. That's pretty crazy, though.
Bobby
What's happening, man? Amy's like, I shouldn't say this, and then she just says it. We. Quiet.
Amy
What?
Chris
It's just like whenever you say. Whenever I'm like, I shouldn't say that. I really. I won't do it.
Amy
I don't care.
Bobby
Do you see the story about the only fans guy dying of, like, a heart attack in his 40s?
Amy
Doing what?
Bobby
It didn't say. Oh, I believe it was a heart attack. He was in his 40s.
Eddie
No, it was cancer, man.
Bobby
Oh, it was okay. It wasn't something to, like, up. No good.
Eddie
No, I wasn't no good. But he. After making. They. They were saying he was making, like, $1.9 million a day.
Amy
A day.
Bobby
He's a billionaire.
Amy
Yeah, guys.
Eddie
A day.
Amy
A day.
Chris
And now he's just gone.
Bobby
And he kept himself pretty private and.
Eddie
Yeah, never did. Yeah, never did interviews. Never did anything. And he had a staff of like, 40 people.
Chris
And, man, 40 people run only fans his account.
Bobby
No, no, he was the. He was a creator.
Amy
Oh, I thought he was a content creator.
Chris
Oh, and that's why you thought he died of a heart attack doing it?
Bobby
Amy's in a place today. No, listen, that's called selective hearing.
Amy
No, I thought he was an only fan, and then I was thinking maybe
Bobby
I said it wrong. I could have.
Amy
No, I don't know that you did. I. I don't know. I guess I was trying to think, what kind of videos is he making to where. That's what he makes every day, you know?
Chris
Yeah. That's a lot of money.
Amy
That's a lot.
Bobby
That's either a really big or really small wiener. If you're making a lot of money as a dude on there, like, it's gotta be really big or micro penis.
Amy
I thought one of the two.
Bobby
I've never seen a micro penis.
Chris
Neither have I.
Amy
No, can't say that I have.
Bobby
I just think that'd be weird. If you're a girl and they don't
Chris
warn you, and then you just warn
Amy
you, what are they supposed to say
Bobby
before you get down there? I should let you know I have a micro penis. Like, you have to say something before it. It'd be like, as a woman, if you had a third boob or like a big nipple beside a nipple. Like you're gonna say something to the dude before he gets there.
Chris
Interesting.
Amy
I don't know.
Bobby
No, you would. You would have to.
Chris
A little heads up.
Bobby
Because imagine you're the dude and it's like, all right, here we go. It's time to go. You're like, oh, whoa. Imagine a woman. You're like, okay, here. What the. There's just a reaction. You have to brace them for. And if anybody has a micropenis on the show, God love you.
Chris
On the show.
Bobby
You can't help it. Yeah, Ray. Scuba. I don't know. Mike D. All three. Nobody said anything, so they all three. Hey, Scuba Steve. Can I ask you a question? I see you're here today.
Eddie
Yeah.
Greg
What's up, man? Why didn't.
Bobby
Why didn't you want to drive with the tour bus? On the tour bus?
Greg
Oh, it was a few different reasons, but the main reason was I don't like people driving me. I have to be in control and drive the vehicle. My wife doesn't drive. Friends on drive. I always drive.
Bobby
So it wasn't so much. They made it seem like you were scared of tour bus drivers specifically.
Greg
Well, and the tour bus thing, like, you read stories about accidents and stuff, and so I was just like, I don't want to be part of that story.
Bobby
Huh. But you read stories about car accidents all the time, too. Probably more so than tour bus.
Chris
And what about planes? Like, you worry about that? I have no.
Greg
I have no control over the airplane, and I have to fly places, and I can't fly an airplane. So I've succumbed to letting go of that fear. But the. The tour bus thing scared me. And also just. It's just. I don't know, it's something about. It's just a fear of being trapped in that capsule and driving down the road. And also because the guy, he. I went there for a short drive, and, like, he, like, shuts the door and locks it, and, like, you can't even see him. Driving. Like, what if he falls asleep or he has a medical episode and there's no way to get to him? The whole thing just freaked me out.
Bobby
Yeah, mostly I don't think the door locks because they can't keep you locked in there in case something bad goes wrong.
Chris
It just shuts.
Bobby
Yeah, it just shuts. And secondly, it's to keep him from being distracted by everybody that's behind him. It's a him thing.
Greg
Gotcha.
Eddie
Okay.
Greg
Yeah. It just freaked me out.
Amy
I did want to. Which. This would have been weird, so I didn't do it. But I did want to buckle up. It felt weird to do seatbelts.
Bobby
Hey, yeah, rookie. They used to rock star lives.
Chris
That's the best part about being on a bus.
Amy
I know. That's why I was cool. And I didn't buckle up, but they had seatbelts, and I was like, you know, you're riding sideways. And I thought, I really kind of want to put on my seatbelt because it feels irresponsible. Like, if.
Chris
Funny. Even Rod was on there, and, you know, and he was, like, sitting facing the back of the bus, and he's like, I can't do this. This feels too weird. Like, why is it weird?
Bobby
They're not like us, dude.
Chris
They don't hit the one road.
Bobby
We've been torn for years.
Amy
Yeah. Morgan and I were getting sick.
Chris
They were.
Bobby
I really don't get sick on buses, and I usually. Night one, on a bus, it's hard for me to sleep because I'm getting used to it. And you're hitting that sometimes the road.
Amy
Oh, I slept great.
Bobby
Night two. I can do pretty good, but it was just sitting.
Amy
That was weird.
Chris
You know what was funny is they. The trash can. They never. They didn't believe me that that was the hole.
Bobby
It was underneath the sink in that hole.
Chris
Yeah.
Bobby
You thought he was messing with you.
Amy
Well, I was trying to tidy up and clean, and I was just, like, putting stuff in a bag. And then Eddie's like, it's the trash is under there. I was like, oh, thank goodness. I thought I was going to have to collect everything in a bag and then take it off myself, so.
Chris
And then I was worried that lunchbox was going to go number two on the bus.
Bobby
No pooping on the bus. No pooping on the bus. All right, Lunchbox, your story you just did.
Eddie
Oh, yeah?
Bobby
What was it?
Eddie
Quadruple. Quadruple amputee was impressive.
Amy
No, no, we got it.
Bobby
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Eddie. Oh, okay.
Chris
So there's a woman named Sherry in Houston. This was on Saturday night. She's hanging out at. At the house when a huge rock just goes through her roof and into her house. But boom, through the ground. Even it made a big hole in the ground. Turns out it was a meteor. A little meteorite had fallen and going right through her roof and landed into her house. And the Meteorologic Meteorology Society, whatever, said, yeah, this was. There was a shower going on at that time, and there were about 100 sightings all over the state. So she was one of the lucky ones.
Bobby
Does that rock come down hot? Hot? No, I'm literally asking.
Chris
Oh, oh, I thought you meant, like, super fast. Yeah, that would be hot. But no, I see what you're saying.
Amy
But you called it little, but it broke through her house and dented it.
Chris
It was like a little smaller than a bowling ball, which was like, oh,
Bobby
that'll din a house. A bowling ball within a house.
Chris
But then they also said that this could. That little. That rock could be worth so much money.
Amy
Well, it's hers now, right?
Chris
Yeah, yeah.
Bobby
Eddie went viral before viral was a thing because he found a meteor or saw a meteor or something.
Chris
I was a cameraman for the news, and I was videoing a marathon. And in my shot, you can see the big fireball in the sky. And so I brought it back to the station, and it was on Saturday morning. And they have, like, you know, JV producers at that time. And so I was like, guys, I got something that everybody. I ran into that newsroom like, we need to put this on air now. And they're like, great, just put it on my desk. And it didn't air for like four hours. And then when it aired, CNN called, abc, BBC, they all called. I was already at home, and they were like, come back. Everybody wants to interview you.
Bobby
But you didn't do anything.
Chris
What do you mean? I was. I was the lonely.
Bobby
Laid the camera on the ground. I just recorded it.
Chris
Yeah, so what was crazy is at that time, I would just hit record and just let. Let it roll for about 10 seconds.
Bobby
Because weren't you, like, getting people just running by?
Chris
Yeah, it's just a running shot. Yeah, a wide running shot. And then NASA called. They wanted to talk to me because they're like, what direction were you facing? Because they wanted to find where this thing had fallen.
Bobby
Now, that makes a bit of sense, but not to be interviewed over.
Chris
Dude, I got interviewed by.
Bobby
What would they ask you?
Chris
Al Jazeera? They were like, what are you thinking? What were you thinking when you saw it? And I'm like, I didn't see it.
Bobby
Like.
Chris
Like I had just pushed record. And I was just watching the runners and thinking like, oh, it's a beautiful day. And I'm like, what was that? Like something just flew in the sky. So I rewound my tape. I'm like, I got it. Whatever that is, I took it back. And so NASA was like, all right, which way you pointed? And so I told him the direction. We were in Austin and the. And the meteor had fallen right outside of Waco.
Amy
Oh, that's crazy.
Bobby
So they said, so that's not from that far away.
Chris
I saw from that far away. So that's about a two hour drive, right? Hour and a half. Two hour drive. And they said that the meteor that I captured was the size of a pickup truck. Wow, a pickup truck. And I got a piece. I still have a piece of that meteorite. They gave it to me.
Bobby
Can you sell that?
Chris
I tried. I asked Dr. Laurie, and she said, it's fine. It's not worth a lot because it's so small, but I would think a space rock, even if it's tiny, would be worth something.
Bobby
So you got a micro meteor.
Chris
A tiny little, little, Little one.
Bobby
Okay. Story. I did mine, and we did her lunchbox. Did you just do one to lead into that?
Amy
Yeah, that was his story.
Chris
That was the Fell into a lady.
Bobby
Are you okay, dude? We get going to different things, and I forget where it started. And also, I've got a bit of baby brain still. I don't know what's going on.
Amy
I think he said earlier, Amy, one today.
Chris
He did.
Bobby
No, you did.
Chris
You were, though.
Bobby
We were doing a bet. You want to play the audio? Okay. So Amy and I were recording the countdown.
Chris
Hold on.
Bobby
What's. What's the bet, though?
Amy
Yeah, just for spits and goodness. Now you don't. Because you know I said it.
Bobby
I don't. I don't know.
Amy
I do. $10.
Chris
I like it.
Bobby
Whatever. $10. So, Mike, will you set this up? So the song is Justin Moore, times ticking. And this is Amy recording that. So what happened was Amy was recording it, and I think she said, time ticking. And she said, no, I said, time's ticking. And so we have a bet. That's it.
Amy
The bet. I was like, okay, I'll redo it. But I said it. Right.
Bobby
I don't know how much context there is in this clip.
Chris
So Amy thinks that she said.
Bobby
But then we went on and on about it forever. And so. But here is the. It's either time ticking which is not right. But time's Ticking is right. Okay, go.
Amy
Our number two song comes to us from Justin Moore. Here's time ticking on the country shoot. Okay.
Chris
I would always believe Bobby in that case. Listen, listen, hear me out, because I
Amy
catch things sometimes he doesn't catch.
Chris
I know, but you're doing it. You're doing the reading. You're doing the talking. Bobby's just listening, so he's got the advantage there.
Bobby
She's looking for money right now. I'm taking it because it was her idea. I was gonna do a no money bet. You know, you're gonna spill that on my carpet.
Amy
No, I'm not. Give me a break.
Chris
You worry about that.
Bobby
You know that's gonna spill.
Amy
Yeah, no, I'm gonna pick it up.
Chris
You got cash?
Amy
Yeah, boy. I sold a birdcage on Facebook. Marketplace.
Bobby
Is that 10 or 20?
Chris
10.
Bobby
You sold a birdcage?
Amy
Yeah. On. On Facebook? What's.
Bobby
What does that even mean?
Amy
You sold a birdcage on Facebook Marketplace. I put a bird cage up.
Bobby
Why do you have birdcages?
Chris
Oh, she had a bird.
Amy
My daughter had a bird for, like a week.
Chris
And we had a whole, like, a court hearing.
Bobby
Who killed the bird?
Amy
Chris Hemsworth. The bird.
Bobby
I remember that, but it's Barry. You still had the cage?
Amy
Yeah, it was just in the garage, and I was like, I need to sell this. We're not getting another bird.
Bobby
Did they come to your house to get it?
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
Oh.
Amy
Why?
Chris
That's wrong.
Bobby
Unsafe.
Chris
Oh, Facebook Marketplace.
Bobby
People come into your house from Facebook.
Amy
People come to my house?
Chris
Yeah.
Bobby
Why would you.
Amy
Doordash Uber.
Bobby
But you're. That's different.
Amy
Yeah, but they didn't. They didn't have an encounter with me. Don't worry.
Bobby
Okay.
Chris
Will you send someone else to sell it?
Bobby
My dealer, her person, her cage dealer. You just dropped a bunch of papers.
Amy
That's the countdown. We're done.
Bobby
Okay.
Amy
That's time ticking.
Bobby
Time ticking. How did you feel about being wrong there? Because you were dead set that you were right.
Amy
I was. I feel sad that I just gave you a fourth of my earnings.
Bobby
That's cage money, boys.
Chris
$40 was the cage.
Amy
That's how much I sold it for.
Chris
Pretty good.
Bobby
I'll give you a chance to win it back.
Amy
Doing what?
Bobby
I don't know. I'll ask Chat GPT for a 5 trivia question bill, and we can write our answers down, me versus you.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby
And then we'll do Tuesday reviews day, because some people have. Still have to go.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby
All right. What?
Derek
Nothing.
Bobby
What Were you gonna say, nope, do the thing.
Amy
I was gonna say, dear. What do you call her?
Bobby
I don't call her. She doesn't have a name. Write. Gave a pen.
Amy
Nope.
Bobby
You need a pen.
Amy
Okay. We just came up with this idea
Bobby
because you have to write it down and hold it up, because if you say it, one of us says it, she's gonna react.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby
The sharpie.
Chris
There's a marker, right?
Amy
Sharpie. That's dangerous.
Bobby
We can hold it up for the camera. Here we go. Hello. I'm competing against Amy in a trivia contest. So, one at a time, I need five general knowledge trivia questions. I would say six to seven out of ten as far as difficulty. Can you help me with that? Five questions in a row, but one at a time.
Chris
I'm Ray.
Derek
Let's kick it off with one question. Here we go. What element on the periodic table has the chemical symbol K?
Chris
Lemon, I thought you made that face, like.
Amy
Because I thought at first he said six to seven. Level heart. I thought he was going to say six.
Eddie
Hold up.
Bobby
Your answer. What do you have?
Amy
Potassium.
Bobby
I have potassium, too. Potassium. You both nailed it.
Derek
Potassium is correct. All right, let's keep this going. Ready for question two?
Bobby
Yeah. Yes.
Derek
Great. Here's the next one. In Greek mythology, who was condemned to hold up the sky for eternity?
Chris
Why did she say it like that?
Derek
I'm curious to hear what you both went with. Let me know your answers and I'll tell you if you're right.
Amy
I don't know. I'm just guessing.
Derek
No worries. The correct answer.
Bobby
That's why I said, don't talk. That's literally why I said, don't talk. She didn't say, but it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. Don't you guys have. That's why we have to hold it up on paper.
Amy
All right. We're not used to communicating with her.
Bobby
Okay, I'm in.
Chris
What do you have?
Amy
Thor?
Bobby
Have Atlas.
Chris
Oh, that's in your paper.
Bobby
Is it Atlas?
Derek
Yes, it was Atlas. So you've got it. Now let's keep that momentum going. Here comes question number three.
Bobby
Go ahead. Go ahead with question number three.
Derek
All right. What is the largest internal organ in the human body by mass?
Amy
Internal. She said,
Bobby
What do you have?
Amy
Well, because skin is considered external, right?
Bobby
Write down whatever you have.
Amy
Because is our skin on the inside?
Bobby
Write down skin.
Amy
No, that's external.
Bobby
Go ahead.
Amy
And she said internal. Okay, I'm in.
Bobby
What'd you put?
Amy
Liver?
Bobby
I put lung.
Amy
Who knows?
Bobby
What is the largest internal organ in the human body by mass. That would be the liver.
Chris
So if you all tied up.
Derek
Great. It's all about having fun and learning something along the way. Okay, let me know if you want to keep going or if we're wrapping up the quiz.
Amy
Yeah, no, we told you five.
Bobby
Amy, you have to stop talking.
Chris
Be nice to her.
Bobby
Be nice. You have to stop talking because you're throwing her off. Okay, we'll take one more, please. No, two more. We have two more. Can we have two more, please?
Derek
Absolutely. Two more coming right up. Let's have some fun. Here's the next one. What's the smallest prime number?
Amy
I'm in.
Bobby
Let me see your answer.
Amy
Why did you do it that way?
Bobby
What's the answer?
Derek
The smallest prime number is two.
Bobby
We both have two written down.
Amy
Why'd you do it that way?
Bobby
What?
Amy
Like, let me see your answer.
Bobby
Because you talk and it throws her off.
Amy
Okay, no worries.
Derek
Teamwork always has its quirks. We're almost there. Let's dive into that last question. Whenever you're ready.
Bobby
Go ahead. We're ready. It says, why'd you do it like that? What? Like, let me see your answer. Because if you talk, it throws her off.
Chris
It says all that?
Bobby
Yes, because she's reacting to what we're doing in here. Okay, give me. Give us one more question, please.
Derek
You got it. For the final question, what's the capital city of Canada?
Bobby
Need an answer.
Amy
I have two in my mind. Let me.
Chris
Oh, my gosh.
Bobby
I.
Eddie
What do you have?
Bobby
I bought them.
Amy
Oh, well, then I don't have. I'm Quebec.
Bobby
Okay, what's the answer?
Derek
The capital of Canada is Ottawa. If that's what you had, you're spot on. Nicely done.
Chris
Hockey. Is that how you got that?
Bobby
No, just knowing the capital of Canada.
Chris
Oh, good job.
Amy
You just know the capital of Canada. I'm gonna try. I'm gonna try to tell my brain how to remember that.
Bobby
Good job on the kidney, lung, liver. Oh, yeah, I missed it again. So.
Chris
So was that level or nothing? What was that?
Bobby
No, I just given her a chance to win it back.
Amy
Yeah, it's okay.
Bobby
Unless you want to give me 10 more.
Amy
No. OTT capital of Canada.
Chris
Is that a real song?
Amy
No, it's not.
Bobby
She's trying to create a new.
Amy
Remember it. Well, it's the capital of Canada.
Bobby
It's Canada. Have you seen the. The dictionary said nothing rhymes with silver. And then Eminem's reply, and it's like, 18 things that kind of rhymes with silver, but doesn't. But he makes it. But when you read it, it sounds like he's rapping. Nothing? No. All right, screw it. That's what that reminded me of. Like Eminem rapping because the words don't really rap or they don't really rhyme. Makes them rhyme. All right, Morgan, give me your story.
Hannah
Well, this one's crazy. There's a Utah mom and she's been accused of kidnapping her son's bully.
Bobby
Oh, I bet you a lot of parents would like to love to do that.
Hannah
Yeah. So this Utah mom, her son is autistic, and there's an 11 year old in the neighborhood that has apparently been bullying him. So she rolled up on the 11 year old bully while he was riding his bike around the neighborhood, kidnapped him, brought him to her house without his parents knowledge, made him apologize to her son, and even said. Even threatened to have her husband beat him up. And then. And said she was. That he was lucky she did not run over his bike, and then eventually drove the boy back home. And now she has two felony charges for.
Amy
She sounds tired.
Bobby
Yeah, you can't do that.
Chris
Tired, Fed.
Amy
This mom needs some rest.
Bobby
Jail.
Amy
Yeah. What in the world?
Chris
She'll get rest in jail.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
I mean, yeah. As much as you would like to do that.
Amy
Golly.
Chris
Can't do it.
Bobby
You can't do that.
Chris
No, no, no.
Bobby
Golly. What do you think happens to Girl Scout cookies when the season ends?
Amy
They donate them to the military.
Bobby
Not to food pantries. Different charities. Military, some, sure, but. And then what. What do you think happens if they still have some? Which would be weird because why would you still have some? But they say after that, I guess if all the pantries are full, which I don't know, that's a thing, then the troops get to eat them themselves.
Chris
Oh. Little treat for them.
Bobby
Yeah, I saw that story.
Amy
I was gonna be like, did they stick them in the freezer and hope for the best, try to sell them again next year.
Bobby
You know, I want to shout out everybody listens to the podcast that I still get messages. And I only know this because I get so many messages. On January 8, I did a thing where I said, hey, if you're hearing this, send me a dm. I still get messages every single day from people going, I'm just up to this part of the podcast.
Chris
That's cool.
Bobby
On January 8th. That's cool. My recommendation would be if you're listening to the podcast, and as we're recording this, it is March 24th, so it could be today. You're hearing it. It could be July, when You're hearing this. If you're behind, just skip ahead to the day.
Chris
What did they miss out on? Like, good stuff though. Is there anything good in there?
Bobby
It's all the same crap, but I would just say skip it instead of one. If you're. If it's on like a one day at a time thing, just skip ahead and catch up.
Amy
Yeah, but
Bobby
we just talk about so many current events.
Chris
Sure.
Amy
They're like, oh my gosh, there was a plane crash in Laglordia.
Bobby
Where?
Amy
LaGuardia.
Bobby
Time taken.
Amy
LaGuardia.
Chris
Savannah Guthrie's mom is disappearing.
Bobby
Yeah. If we're the way. You're finding your news way after the fact. But I still get messages because I said, hey, DM me if you hear. When you hear this, I wanted to know. And I still get those January 8th messages from people going, ah, haha, I'm behind. And I appreciate everybody listening because we wouldn't be able to do this without you guys listening. For sure. 100. But if it's like, I'm gonna listen. Just. You can just skip to the current day or. Or a week behind.
Chris
Do you ever listen to podcasts on high. High speed?
Bobby
Never. I listen to podcasts all the time, but never on high speed.
Amy
Never. Even just a little bit?
Bobby
None.
Amy
Not like super fast, but just teeny.
Bobby
That would be. That's why I said none to even just a little bit.
Amy
I know, but I'm.
Chris
Like you said a few times.
Amy
I just find that interesting.
Bobby
No, never. Because I'm listening to podcasts because I enjoy what I'm listening to.
Chris
Right. It's not like a homework assignment.
Bobby
Yeah. Maybe if I were listening to a book. I hadn't listened to books in a while, I'd listen to that a little faster.
Amy
Yeah. Like 1.2 maybe.
Bobby
Maybe.
Amy
But no, because it still sounds normal.
Bobby
Tuesday reviews day lunchbox.
Eddie
Yeah, I finally did it. I finished Ozark. Oh my gosh, guys, are we listening
Bobby
to an old podcast right now?
Amy
People think this is.
Eddie
Oh man, that show is. I mean, it'll make you just like on the edge of your seat every single episode.
Frank
You.
Eddie
It is so highly intensive and you have to pay attention and you're just like, oh my gosh, what's about to happen? What's about. Oh my God. Oh, whoa. It was so freaking good.
Bobby
Yeah, it was so good. To be fair, I watched an old show to a couple of them.
Eddie
Oh man, I'm telling you. What? Like that one is just like, oh, and I've never hated that. There's one character that I'M not sure I hated more than any other character in my life.
Amy
Don't say who.
Bobby
I wonder which one it is. Because you kind of love and hate all the characters at some point during that series. Right. It's like Breaking Bad. Like, you really hate somebody and then eventually you kind of learn why they're like they are. And you're like, oh, I kind of like understand at least why they're that way. Okay, what do you give it?
Eddie
Oh, I give it 5 out of 5. Money laundering operations, man.
Bobby
Yeah, that's good. That's a good.
Eddie
Oh, so good. So fun.
Bobby
Morgan, anything?
Hannah
Yeah, I watched the Madison on Paramount. Plus it's the new Taylor Sheridan show with Michelle Pfeiffer, Kurt Russell, and it was really good. It's a drama based on like, the family is a big New York City family, but they were thinking about moving to Montana and putting roots down there. And I loved it. I give it four out of five. Sunshine Fields.
Bobby
Is it set? Current day?
Hannah
Yeah, it's like the Madison completely removed, I think, from all the Yellowstone stuff. I don't think it's attached to any of that.
Chris
It looks good, but I thought maybe, like, it was like catered to older people because it was like an old relationship. Right. Is that kind of like the vibe?
Hannah
No, it's not. But I could see why you would think that. It's definitely a drama and there's. There's young people in it too.
Bobby
Is the reason he would think that because he's stupid?
Amy
No, I mean, maybe he's just seen.
Bobby
I would see why you would think that. Because you're stupid.
Chris
You know, like, they're older people, like Michelle, they're. They're both older and then they're. They fall in love. Right. Like, aren't they the ones in love?
Hannah
Yeah, they're the married couple. It's their family.
Chris
Yeah, I kind of figured it was like older relationship, but.
Hannah
No, it is not. It's definitely about a family.
Amy
Young.
Hannah
There's young people in it for you.
Bobby
Eddie, did you do yours this morning?
Chris
I did not.
Bobby
Okay, go ahead.
Chris
I did. I watched Running man with Glenn Powell. I've never seen the original. Like, I didn't watch the one with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but it. It's interesting, but it's cheesy. Like, but man, I'm getting to the point where I kind of like cheesy movies. Like dumb cheesy movies with cheesy lines in them. I kind of like that because I don't to think too much about it. So I Enjoyed it, but it's definitely cheesy. I will give it four. Four monies. Four monies out of five.
Bobby
Mike, did you like it? Yeah, that's what I gave it to. What? I like it, I think Ashes last time. I just haven't committed to it. I think you still like it.
Chris
It's a good, easy watch, you know, like, if you have to, like. Like, Amy, if you have to, like, full clothes or something while you're watching
Bobby
it, you can do that perfect Stephen King story. So you'll like it. He wrote the original Running Man.
Chris
Gosh, he's written so many.
Bobby
That's crazy. Okay, that's everybody, right?
Chris
That's it.
Bobby
All right. Anybody else want to say anything before I take a break? Everybody all good? Making more bets?
Chris
Not you want your money back, Amy?
Amy
Not today. Not my day.
Bobby
The liver is the largest organ.
Amy
Internal.
Bobby
Internal, yeah.
Amy
Because the external would be skin, and
Chris
I would think lungs. I thought lungs maybe, but I guess it's a lot of air that's mass.
Bobby
And. Yeah, maybe it's. Maybe. I'm thinking that because if you breathe in and they're.
Chris
Yeah, it's bigger.
Bobby
Expanded.
Amy
Yeah. I feel like liver is just.
Bobby
Yeah. Dense.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
Highly. What did he say?
Amy
Highly intensive.
Bobby
Intensive.
Chris
Who said that?
Amy
Lunchbox. He was like, this show is highly intensive, man.
Eddie
It was, man. It was.
Amy
Whoo.
Bobby

So I went and looked it up to see if these are real or not. And they're real. But it's become there's so many of them that now doctors have put out a story saying, hey, everybody has like little parasites and then if you're doing these parasite cleanses, like it could actually hurt you if you're doing the wrong one. And I know you've done many of these.
Amy
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, define many.
Bobby
I don't know, more than three.
Amy
Okay. Probably two over 20 years.
Bobby
Oh, okay. Your thoughts on this with maybe a
Amy
few capsules here and there sprinkled in. I think I have gone through trusted professionals, like not tick tock. I can't recall if they were actually doctors.
Bobby
Okay, okay. But if you trusted them, I maybe
Amy
nurse practitioners and I feel like they might as well be doctors. So I, I wouldn't say that.
Bobby
I wouldn't say might as well be doctors. I would say they're closer to a doctor, but not might as well.
Amy
MPs, a lot of education.
Bobby
I agree with that. Yeah. But it's not a doctor. I think a doctor would get mad. I say that only from saying that I'm a doctor and doctors get mad
Chris
at me for saying, oh, are you offended by that? A little bit.
Amy
You're an honorary doctorate.
Bobby
Yeah.
Amy
That says doctor. So I see where that's different. But NP I have trusted them. I Have felt good. You know, it's scary to think what's in there. And with my different travels, I think as much as I was going to Haiti, it was just wise for me to clear some stuff out.
Bobby
Infectious disease experts say there's little evidence these cleanses work and warn they can even be harmful, noting that parasitic infections are relatively uncommon in the US and require proper testing and targeted treatment. So if you're taking. If you're like me and you're seeing it on TikTok and you're going, maybe I should take this, basically don't.
Amy
Fair.
Bobby
Because they should be extremely targeted to what you specifically have. And you have to go in to find what you specifically have.
Amy
Yeah, I went and I. They did that test where I hold a bottle and then. And then, you know, they like, if my arm is weak while I'm holding the bottle, then I need it.
Bobby
Yeah. That wasn't a doctor. No doctor is going to do that.
Amy
She was a doctor. That one was.
Bobby
That's from npr. So Amy also told me that you're not supposed to make a decision if it's the week of your period.
Amy
Yeah. You got hormones all over the place. And I just think that. Well, from what I was reading, if you've got a big decision to make or you feel this sudden urge to just, like, make this drastic change and you check the calendar and it's a week before your period, just hold off. Like, give it two weeks, and then in two weeks, if you still feel the same, then proceed, but it's just wise to pause.
Bobby
How do they know you're not making even better decisions in that block? Because I can understand that you'd be feeling different, so you would make a decision differently. But what if you're. You're emotional and it's so good, I'll
Amy
just go from the data. In my own life, I wouldn't put myself in the super rational category. The week before, I made some really
Bobby
great decisions on sleeping pills.
Amy
No, you didn't.
Bobby
Oh, I did.
Amy
I thought you said you did it.
Bobby
I've made some bad ones, too, but I've made some really great ones. I think back in the day as well.
Amy
Whatever. Sleeping pills. Totally different category than hormones. Totally different.
Bobby
It depends what doctor you ask.
Amy
Okay, well, I. I just saw. I read this, and I was like, you know what? Wise words. Probably should throw that out there. Like, if you're considering a breakup or a job change or quitting, why did
Bobby
you put extra emphasis on job change? Did you guys hear that one?
Chris
Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
Bobby
You Talk a job change, then, like,
Amy
maybe just pause and see if you feel the same way about your coworkers in a week.
Bobby
Okay, so the PSA here is one. Don't take generic parasite cleanses.
Amy
Yeah. Like, especially random ones from. What do they call it? Tick Tock shop.
Bobby
That's what they call it.
Chris
Yes, that's what the kids call it.
Bobby
And then also, if it's the week of your period, don't make any decisions
Amy
the week before your period. The week before.
Bobby
But wouldn't that be the week of if it's like a seven days out?
Amy
I don't.
Bobby
Let's say your period starting on a Saturday and it's Sunday or Monday, depending on your view of the calendar. Isn't that the week of your.
Amy
No, that's the week before. The week of would be. You're on it.
Bobby
Oh, okay.
Amy
Yeah. And I mean, when you're on it, that's probably like, you're. You probably shouldn't make lots of decisions.
Bobby
So how many weeks a month can you make a decision then?
Amy
I really feel like the week after.
Bobby
That's it. You got one week to make decisions, and then you're out.
Amy
I've told y', all. The week after my period, whatever phase that is. Women that can memorize our phases that I've had my entire life, and they know exactly what to eat and how to act and what to do on Lunal or feudal or fertile or whatever the phases are. I hats off to you because that's awesome. I've never been able to fully get into that, but there is something to be said about that week after. Like, you're just feeling awesome.
Bobby
Okay. No parasite cleanses from TikTok. No decisions to be made except for three days a month. Other than that, you should have, like, a sponsor do it for you. Right?
Amy
Yes.
Eddie
Bones.
Bobby
Amy, what happened to your son? He get hurt?
Amy
Yeah. So he was at track practice, and the temperature in Nashville right now is all kinds of crazy. It's hot one day, cold one day. So he wasn't prepared properly for track practice outside. So he was cold to his hands in his pocket while he was running with his hands?
Derek
Yeah.
Amy
Normally he would have warmer clothes, but he was. It's been so confusing here. And he was running with his hands in his pocket and tripped, but since his hands are in his pocket, he had no way to break his fall. So he just face planted on the track and, like, he has a cut on his nose, his upper lip, and then his braces cut the inside of his mouth.
Bobby
Oh, my Goodness.
Amy
And then his coaches said he took a while to, you know, answer questions. So then they were, like, worried about if he hit his head and if he had a concussion. And we ultimately determined. I think he took a minute because he was trying to process what just happened because it happened so quickly. And then also, when you're that age, you're also embarrassed. You just fell in front of all of your friends. So I think it was more. That's why he took a minute to respond versus concussion.
Bobby
I don't know that I would just lean that way automatically.
Chris
Did he do a test?
Bobby
I would think head injury first and then go to embarrassment.
Amy
Well, I'm just giving y' all the quick version of the story.
Bobby
Okay.
Amy
I think that they obviously want to be very cautious and cover all their bases and make sure we figure it out as parents. However, at the. The exact time that this happened, both of his said parents are out of town.
Bobby
Oh, really?
Amy
So we had to rely on other people. And thankfully, one of our. His friend's mom, who I'm friends with, she took him in, and she was like, look, we've assessed him. I think he's going to be fine. We'll just keep an eye on him all night, and he'll be good.
Bobby
Oh, he stayed at their house?
Amy
Well, he ended up having to. I was going to be home that night, but not till late. But then I didn't feel like he could go to bed and then wake up and I would be home, but I didn't feel good just leaving him there to even go to bed by himself. So he got to have a slumber party at his friend's house on a school night.
Bobby
He have a bad headache?
Amy
He was. He ended up being fine. Like, the only thing that bothered him is really mostly the inside of his mouth where his braces hit.
Bobby
When you get a call and you're out of town about your kid being injured.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
Worst helpless.
Amy
Yeah. Worst call ever. I'm like, what do I do? I don't. I can't get on a plane and get home right now. But thankfully, we have. I was thinking if we didn't have this relationship with this track friend and the mom, I don't know who I would have called, especially with her dad being out of town. I mean, I guess I would have figured it out. It just wouldn't have all happened very swiftly. Like, this happened. Like, she's already at track practice. She was able to take over. I would have had to call someone to drive to the school and figure it all out. And just been more of a hassle. And she text me back. She goes, that's why we have a village. And I was like, that's right. Mom, Mama, mom, friend. Like, it felt like mom's. Like a mom having another mom's back. And I appreciated that.
Bobby
And the doctors didn't lead with embarrassment, right? Because that scares me. Kid falls, wipes out, hits his head.
Amy
Well, to be.
Bobby
We're going to start. We think he's embarrassed.
Amy
Well, to be clear, we never officially had a doctor.
Interviewer
That was the coaches, but nobody.
Amy
They monitored him. Like, his eyes. Like, you can do, like, little tests. Like, he was fine.
Bobby
You ever had a concussion? Have you ever had any?
Amy
No.
Bobby
You?
Chris
Never.
Bobby
I think I had a small one one time.
Amy
From what?
Bobby
Playing high school football. I took a knee to the head, and it wasn't even a hard hit because I got crushed. I never got a concussion from getting crushed, but I took a knee right on the head, and I remember seeing the yard marker, you know how, like, hit the middle, and I saw three of them. Oh, it spread out to three. And it was like three wobblies instead of one. And then I was never quite with it. And I walked into the. The field house after the game, and they were like, you're just embarrassed.
Amy
Shut up.
Chris
That's their life.
Bobby
They didn't. They didn't do the Gattagon. I think that's my only.
Amy
So to be clear, I did not say that.
Bobby
We're going to diagnose you with a case of embarrassment, son.
Amy
I didn't say.
Frank
Just wanted to say I think Amy has powers. Iowa upset Florida. She predicted in her vision she saw Caitlin Clark sitting in the stands. Well, Caitlin Clark, Iowa. I mean, who would have predicted Iowa upsetting Florida? Come on, let's go. Amy's psychic powers. Put your money on Iowa. Final four. Thank you.
Bobby
I don't remember that. So long ago. One of your visions was Caitlin Clark sitting in the stands.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby
Okay, so you know Iowa beat the number one seed, Florida.
Amy
I did not.
Bobby
Yeah.
Amy
I did not know that.
Bobby
Anybody else remember that?
Chris
I do remember that. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, it sounded crazy at the time, but, I mean, he's right, dude. They did beat number one Florida in Caitlin Clark. She's from Iowa.
Bobby
It did? Well, she played at Iowa.
Chris
Yeah. Played at Iowa.
Bobby
Yeah. Is she from Iowa?
Chris
Don't know. I don't know.
Bobby
Yeah. Congratulations.
Amy
Thanks.
Bobby
I. I don't think that means they're gonna win the whole thing.
Amy
Well, I don't know, but does that
Chris
mean that Amy does have powers?
Bobby
That's wild. If so, if you saw Caitlin Clark
Amy
specifically in the Stand, how do you not remember that?
Bobby
I mean, I've had a baby since then.
Amy
It just came back to me. It just came back to me. I do remember saying that to you and you saying something like, okay, didn't
Bobby
you see, like, a pond or something? Or ducks? Now that I'm thinking about it, yeah.
Amy
In a body of water. I think there was debate on what kind of body of water. So then we were googling universities that have ponds with ducks, which is probably most of them.
Chris
All of them, probably.
Bobby
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah, Right.
Bobby
But the Caitlin Clark thing was good. All right, give me another one.
Frank
We got a question about Lunchbox and the Price is Right. If the Bobby Bone show paid for your Lunchbox trip out to California. Go on. The prices. Right. And if Lunchbox made it onto the show, since this was a business trip paid for by Bobby Bones and a bit for Bobby Bones, then wouldn't anything he might have won become property of the Bobby Bones Show? Just curious. I'll be listening today. Let me know. Bye.
Bobby
So I don't think we paid for it. I think I just gave him the days off Lunchbox. We didn't pay for your trip, right?
Eddie
No, you didn't pay for my trip. I paid for it all out of my own pocket.
Bobby
Yeah, because it was a hymn trip.
Eddie
And you can have my name tag from the Price is Right if you want it.
Bobby
I still think he may have gotten on the show. So that happens, what, a week from today? Is it the 31st? So his first episode is the 31st, and his second is April 2nd? Because I think there's a. Is the Valentine's episode in between that?
Eddie
No, no, Valentine's already aired on Valentine's Day.
Chris
Yeah, that would make sense.
Bobby
Yeah. But they're holding the others off for another month. Over a month. They had to turn that one around fast then, right?
Amy
Mm.
Bobby
Lunchbox.
Eddie
Yeah. I mean, I don't know how it works. I don't know. You work in tv. I don't know how they decide, like, what order they go in, but, yeah, Valentine's Day, I'm telling you, I got rejected. But I saw the couples. They look very happy, and they were dressed to the nines. They had all different kind of costumes. And so, yeah, I guess they went, we will get that one out quick. And the St. Patty's Day one, I didn't make that one either. And that one was the same time.
Bobby
Yeah, but you only got booted out of one, right? Right.
Eddie
I only Got booted out of the valentines because I was not a couple. I was a solo, looking for, you know, just my magic.
Bobby
Wait, so then how do you know when those other ones are airing? They tell everybody in the audience when
Eddie
you go in the green room. It says, like, it has the date written on the board. Like, this episode will air this. So I know Valentine's Day was on Valentine's Day because that's why it's called the Valentine's Day episode.
Amy
Yeah, so that one was pretty obvious.
Bobby
Okay, so March 31st and then April 2nd and April 2nd will be Lunchbox's episodes.
Chris
Okay.
Bobby
I think he may have gotten on the show and he's not telling us because he couldn't, and he wanted to turn it into, like, the ultimate prank. So does it happen during the show? What time does that Show Come on?
Eddie
10:00am I just remember.
Bobby
From being sick.
Chris
Yeah, from being sick. Cause you were.
Bobby
Yeah. Staying home from school.
Amy
So, yeah, 10:00am we'll be working, but.
Bobby
All right, next voicemail.
Frank
This is the guy that called about getting Eddie to send them some salsa. So one of the voicemails I did say, you know, Eddie, I don't want you to think I expected you to just send it off for free. I did say I would. I would Venmo you for it, man. I would. I still can't wait to try it. I have not received it yet. I hope you're not kidneying me. You see what I did there? Anyway, still can't wait to try it. Have a good day.
Amy
He said kidneying me.
Chris
Oh, kidney.
Amy
That's you, like, say something and don't mean it.
Bobby
This is the year of him being serious, though.
Chris
I am being serious, but you should
Bobby
have sent out a long time ago.
Chris
Correct. Here's. Here's kind of the deal, so.
Bobby
Oh, great. A deal.
Chris
Well, I talked to my lawyers, you know.
Bobby
You have lawyers?
Chris
My lawyers don't think it's a good idea for me to ship salsa because the shelf life on homemade salsa is, like, five days.
Bobby
Okay. Your lawyers wouldn't tell you that you don't have a lawyer.
Chris
The lawyers like, it wouldn't be smart, because if this guy gets sick, I mean, we could lose it all.
Bobby
You're not. There's nothing to lose. You have no company.
Amy
Put a note in there that says, eat at your own risk, and then you're covered.
Chris
Is that right? Is that.
Bobby
You're also not selling it?
Eddie
It's a gift.
Chris
I get it. But still, man, I mean, like, what if he gets salmonella from, like, you know, rotten cilantro.
Amy
So I think if you just pack it in ice, you'll be fine.
Chris
Yeah. See all the. Yeah, I think you should be fine. All that is what scares me.
Bobby
I think he just didn't do it, and now he's coming up with an excuse.
Chris
I'm serious.
Bobby
You lied about a lawyer, so how do we know you're not lying about as far as.
Chris
I didn't lie about a lawyer.
Amy
Where does he live?
Chris
Yeah, he had to ship it.
Bobby
A lawyer told you not to mail it to one person because he may get.
Chris
They said it wouldn't be a smart idea to mail it. Mail homemade food because it could spoil, make them sick, and then we'd lose it all.
Bobby
Lose it all. No lawyer's gonna say that because there's nothing. That's all our house, dude.
Chris
Our family, our cars.
Bobby
He's gonna take your kids.
Chris
All of it could be gone. So I'm a little worried about it. What if he comes and picks it up? You know, I can drop it off. If he comes to Nashville, I can drop it off. I'm cool with that. It's the whole shipping with ice and all that freaks me out.
Bobby
Okay, Ray played the next one, please. Number five. Curious. I want to buy cruise tickets. I'm sure we're done talking about the cruise. I'm curious what the age demographic was.
Frank
Like, me and my brother were in our mid-30s.
Bobby
We want to go.
Frank
But I.
Bobby
Some of the interviews, I'm like, are
Frank
they, you know, 50 year olds? Like, is it the same? Like, what's the age?
Bobby
The average age, you guys, I think, was on the ship.
Frank
Thank you.
Bobby
There were definitely 30 year olds, and there were also definitely 80 year olds.
Amy
So the average. I know the average. Do you want to know it?
Chris
Wait, how do you. Do you have the data or just eyeballed it?
Amy
Bobby just said between 30 and 80.
Bobby
Average. There were 30 year olds. There were also 80 year olds, so
Chris
the average would be 50, 55.
Bobby
I. I feel like average and median is different.
Amy
I've saw so many people like us. I felt like we're all, like, the same age. And let me tell you, some of those 80 year olds, they had more oomph in them. Like they were line dancing. They were up late at night. They were at everything. Like, they're fun, living their best cruise life.
Bobby
Okay, so you're at. So you're. What are you saying?
Amy
I'm saying whether you're 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, like, you're gonna have a good time.
Bobby
Yeah, I I don't know the average age. Amy, have you seen the data as Eddie said? Or again, did you just eyeball it?
Amy
No, I know the data. I don't know.
Chris
You don't know the data?
Amy
I don't know the data. I have a lived experience there.
Bobby
But a lived experience isn't real data. That's based on what you've seen.
Amy
Okay. I hung out with 30 year olds and I hung out with 80 year olds. I feel like we were the average age. We're 45 to 50.
Bobby
Data doesn't have a feel, though. And you said, I feel like. Is that like Eddie with his lawyer and his homemade sauce?
Amy
Data is lived experience. Like I call.
Bobby
No, that's not true. That is not lived experience.
Chris
That is our numbers. Like, real numbers.
Amy
I. I have real numbers from being out on the boat with the people.
Bobby
Okay, if you guys want to come again, we're not doing ads. I don't know if we. We will again. I don't know how. Well, the cruise is sold already for next year. It's a year away. Chris
Oh, she was just sitting in there.
Bobby
Yeah, it was like acoustics, but she was like, sing. Yeah, but yeah, check it out. That's up on the podcast today. Go search for the Bobbycast. Or if you want to watch it, it's on Netflix.
