Like a smoothie and sizzles like a smash burger. Easy to pick up and hard to put down. Made from plants and grills like beef. See, it's not or it's and and that's what I love about impossible. If a baby is giggling in the backseat, they're probably happy. If a baby is crying in the backseat, they're probably hungry. But if a baby is sleeping in the backseat, will you remember they're even there when you're distracted, stressed or not, usually the one who drives them, the chances of forgetting them in the back seat are much higher. It can happen to anyone. Parked cars get hot fast and can be deadly. So get in the habit of checking the back seat when you leave a message from NHTSA and the ad Council.
Bobby Bones
All right, let's go. I'll start with a voicemail. Here, Raymundo, play me number one. So I went into a little ice cream shop on the Oregon coast yesterday and I asked for a sample of Maui Sherbert. The lady behind the counter said, no, you get a cup of it. I don't want to give you a sample. Do I call the manager and say something? Do I leave a bad review online? Was she just having a bad day? And I let it go. It was just very off putting. Any help would be or advice would be appreciated. Was she giving you the cup? Because she said, no, you get a cup. But he wasn't trying to buy the cup.
Amy
I thought she said, you got to get a cup.
Bobby Bones
No, you get a cup of it. I don't want to give you a sample.
Amy
Oh, like I was saying, like, you get it. Like, you gotta get it. Like you gotta buy it.
Bobby Bones
You gotta buy. That's probably it. But if she was like, no, no, no sample. You get a cup, then she's trying to hook up with you.
Guest or Co-host
And if you get a free cup of ice cream, I would never call the manager and complain.
Amy
I gotten that vibe.
Bobby Bones
That's called hooking up for ice cream. And it's worth it. It's worth it. Yeah. I'm not a big manager guy.
Amy
What do you mean? Like, talk to the manager guy.
Bobby Bones
Like you do my mom. Why am I going to call the manager? Yeah, just like an ice cream place. Like what? Yeah, just don't go back to the place. No, it's like, if you have a problem with the business, don't go back. If you don't like Cracker Barrel, don't go back. I was watching a whole video about Cracker Barrel because I'm kind of on it right now where this guy's like, hey, here's the reason that a lot of these restaurants like you do McDonald's. You could do IHOP, cracker barrel like while they're all changing their logos, it's not a person who's doing it, it's private investment, like private equity. And what they're doing is they're making things so generic, even the shapes of the buildings, so if it doesn't work, they can quickly transfer it to something else. Because he's like, look, Pizza Huts. They used to think of how Pizza.
Amy
Hut used to be shaped, right? It's very obvious.
Bobby Bones
It's like Pizza Hut would go out of business, they'd have this building and it would be somebody put something in it. But it was always in the Pizza Hut building.
Amy
You knew like it was like they're.
Bobby Bones
Trying to genericize things to make sure that if it doesn't work, they're kind of hedging their investment and their bets. And. And he goes. And there's just people online making it an issue because it's something that people will click and be fake passionate about. So I thought that was super interesting that it's these. It makes total sense when it comes to money that that's what they would do. It's kind of, again, it's kind of hedging your bet. You know, the number one landowner is in America, McDonald's. Yep.
Amy
Oh, I was going to guess McDonald's.
Bobby Bones
Or Taco Bell because McDonald's owns all the land and all of their franchise. But then they franchise the building and they out to the people pay rent on the land. McDonald's is considered, if not the biggest, one of the world's largest real estate companies. Which is crazy because you think, oh, they're making a ton off hamburgers. I think they're making a ton off land.
Amy
Yeah. I remember my dad talking about. I, I know that from him because he was in the restaurant business for a while and he would talk about how that would so. And my sisters in laws are in it too, like the way they were with Taco Bell. But I believe when he sold them all, he kept all the real estate for it. So even whoever bought it has to pay him. Like for the land. Yeah. It's not.
Bobby Bones
Did you get anything in his home?
Amy
My dad?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
No, he. No. My dad. No.
Bobby Bones
Did not have a bunch when he died.
Amy
No. I was paying for everything at that point.
Bobby Bones
Really?
Amy
Pretty much, yeah.
Bobby Bones
I saw that Morgan had clipped the cracker barrel clip because I think I did that on the post show. Right?
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And I went to the comments for one second, I was like, I gotta get out of here because I'm about to. It's just, it's toxic. And Morgan has to go through Facebook. And I looked at him for one second, and then I thought to myself, what a single one of these people that's upset about Cracker Barrel. Had it not been a meme on the Internet, would they have driven by it and been upset? Not a single person would have. And then I was looking at other logos because I typed it in. Sonic changed their logo a few years ago. I think we get upset about that.
Amy
Oh, yeah, it was super colorful. People don't like change.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but some people just follow the Internet's advice.
Amy
Yeah, true.
Bobby Bones
It's a groupthink. It's hateful groupthink. And it happens all the time. And it's not just one side. The whole Sydney Swaney thing was. That was stupid, too.
Amy
Yeah. It's like they. Sometimes people. I saw Bethenny Frankel talking about it on a post today, how people, like, love to hate her. And then even if they really don't, they just get on the bandwagon. Like, maybe they start to not like her, but then they really get into it. It's almost like you don't even want to be doing it, but you just start hating on things because it becomes your unhealthy obsession or your indulgence. Like, you know when you should stop eating something, but you keep eating it anyway.
Bobby Bones
And.
Amy
And that sometimes people get into that with their online behavior. It's like, I don't even really want to be acting this way, but I'm just sort of into it. Like, it. I get like a.
Bobby Bones
Like a dopamine hit.
Amy
A dopamine hit or something from it. Yeah, like. And you just like, continue with that behavior. Behavior. And the more you do it, the more. The more you do it.
Bobby Bones
And you also have to realize that people saying negative things. That's just the people that are saying negative things. You're not seeing all the people that have no interest or saying positive things because they don't have an interest to go and be a part of, to hop in the group. Because also you get in the group. Which, by the way, comments. I'm not even saying just about Cracker Barrel. In general. If you get into, like, a group comment, it's all negative because people don't have a voice for the most part. And the only way they can get their voice heard is by saying something that gets a reaction. And that is usually negative. Because if it's like, hey, I love this, you're not gonna get a bunch of likes. You're not gonna get it. But if you're like, this sucks, and here's why, that's very easy to piggyback off of or get a reaction from the person, you're saying you don't like it too. It's. But there's a point. And I think about this because my whole career I've said things and people haven't agreed or disagreed. And one of the things, though, that I thought was funny because I got into the comments for one second. Let me just sidetrack. I got in the comments for one second. I had to get out. But someone was like, you need to stick to talking about music, bro. I talk about music. None. I don't own one podcast. Like, I haven't made my success talking about music. I make my success talking about culture. That's what in our personal lives, like, the whole life, it's like, you need to still talk about music. Had I talked about music, I wouldn't have a job anymore because I don't control me. I don't have. There's nothing about music that I can do or say that's really that interesting other than I like it or I don't like it. That's it. But I really thought about it. I thought about putting the gloves on yesterday.
Guest or Co-host
I should have.
Bobby Bones
I did. It's just not a good place. It's not a good place.
Guest or Co-host
You haven't been out in a while.
Bobby Bones
I haven't been out in a while, but it's not a good place for me. So I didn't do it. But my also point is, if people ever stop talking bad about me, I'm done. I'm done. There has to be people that have a not positive opinion about me, because there are going to be people that have a positive opinion about me and vice versa. And the things that people like about me are going to be the things that make people not like me. And if I have nobody talking crap about me, then I'm a milquetoast and it doesn't matter. So the day that.
Guest or Co-host
What is milquetoast?
Bobby Bones
Generic.
Guest or Co-host
Oh, got it.
Amy
Just like a plain cracker.
Bobby Bones
Just plain. So the day that I'm fully plain is the day that I have no relevance at all anymore and I go away. So to me, there's real value in the negativity. I just have to not get involved in the negativity and not see it. I don't see anything. I don't go to Facebook.
Amy
So do you think when you get involved in the negativity, like you're saying, like, you've Done before. Do you get some sort of a dopamine hit off of that?
Bobby Bones
I sometimes I used to like, create accounts and say bad stuff about me.
Amy
Wait, what?
Bobby Bones
It was way back in the day just to like, keep it going.
Amy
Huh. Okay.
Bobby Bones
I don't anymore. Because I don't. It's like getting in my dm sometimes I don't even. Unless I'm in the right headspace. I don't even get my DMs. Because why would I subject myself to something that's not going to help me in any way whatsoever?
Amy
Right?
Bobby Bones
Because there's nothing I'm going to take from it to make my life more positive. I'm not going to take the advice of somebody in that like. Or the criticism because I wouldn't take their advice. So why would I take their criticism? Because they don't know what or how or why that I've had to do this and keep it at a certain level for this amount of years. So I don't look at it and I haven't in years. I went into the comments yesterday and I was like, I wonder. I knew what it was going to be. And I was like, ah, maybe I feel like mixing it up. And then I had a little talk. I was like, yeah, don't. Not worth it.
Amy
Little talk with yourself?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I do that sometimes.
Amy
That's good.
Bobby Bones
You know how they have a devil and an angel to pop up on shoulders? It's just me on both shoulders. I just look over. It's like a three headed monster. Just three nerds with glasses going, ah. You could put your time somewhere else.
Amy
That's good. That's gross.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. But if the negativity ever stops, I'm done. And I also know that.
Guest or Co-host
And you could always go back today. You went away yesterday.
Bobby Bones
I'm not going back. I don't need that. I don't crave it. I'm not saying I will never go back. I used to fight on Twitter all the time. We did a Bobby cast, which, by the way, there's one up today with Chase Elliott. And then the one that we're doing Thursday, it's Jay Renshaw, who. Who's chit. Ah, you know chit.
Amy
I only know chit from y'.
Bobby Bones
All.
Amy
Yeah, sometimes y'.
Bobby Bones
All.
Amy
Is that a bad person here?
Bobby Bones
So I had him on and then I did a whole thing about beefs that I've been in over the years and I just let Mike go. Just throw out people who I've got into fights with and I just talked about all the situations that comes out Thursday over on the Bobby. Bobby Bones channel YouTube page, which is where I put all the Bobby cast stuff. But, yeah, I don't really have an interest in that right now. But the reason it came up was Gavin Adcock. He's fighting with everybody, and it's hilarious. And beefs are theater. That's all they are. It's all theater. He's fighting with Charlie Crockett. He was fighting with Nickelback Sound guy. He was fighting with Beyonce's fans. Like, it's theater. And people are like, well, it's a PR stunt. Yeah. But it's working. And that's the whole reason that people are saying that's what it is. So don't believe it. But it's also like, if that's what it is, it's absolutely working. It's hilarious. He's also, like, the nicest guy is what's funny. I've met him. He's been in a couple times, met his parents. I've met him out away from the show, like, spend some time, a little bit of time with him, like, as a guy. I like him as a character. It's funny.
Amy
I guess that's a good way to put it. It's like part of.
Bobby Bones
We're all a. We're all an amplified version of ourselves, or we're focused on a specific version of ourselves as a public figure. So. But yeah, Gavin Adcock's hilarious. When he had his windows busted in. In his car and blamed it on Beyonce's fans, I laughed out loud. He was like, somebody busted my windows in my truck. And it was kind of Beyonce's fans. I think maybe he said, it could have been Nickelback Sound guy. He didn't know, or it was just somebody random, which it probably was. And he even knew it was. It was like somebody just in the neighborhood trying to steal stuff. That guy's funny. It was funny.
Amy
Did you see that? Somebody charged the stage at him at.
Bobby Bones
His Wichita show, and he didn't move. He just kept doing his thing.
Amy
He just stood there.
Bobby Bones
He's also a big old boy, because, I mean, he played college football. He's a big old boy. Yeah.
Amy
Yeah. And the person, like, nose dived on stage, like, was going to tackle him.
Bobby Bones
And he's just like, what's up, dude? Yeah. Not a guy I'd want to tackle. There are other guys that wouldn't mind, like, Yodel boy. I tackle him, I take him down. Other than that, I'm probably not going to tackle many people. So, yeah, the beefs it's all theater. It was the. I said that to a couple of mine. I was like, it was all theater. But there were people I fought with that I don't know even. Not like anymore. Kane and I fought at one point.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, way back in the day.
Amy
About what?
Bobby Bones
I don't remember. I. I remember.
Amy
Fake beef or.
Bobby Bones
No, it wasn't fake. Huh? I don't remember. But I remember us fighting on Twitter.
Amy
Craig Kane was it. Cuz back when he would post all his shirtless videos before he blew up, you know, he was like mirror selfie, shirtless singer guy.
Bobby Bones
No, cuz that would have been me being jealous.
Amy
Okay, well, sometimes we react in immature ways.
Bobby Bones
Not me. Never reacted immature. It's not my thing. Always. 100 times.
Amy
Definitely not. No.
Bobby Bones
Another one's Craig Campbell. Forgot about that. I like Craig. Craig and I are really cool now. Remember that one?
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
It took me a second to remember why I keep notes on my phone.
Amy
What, you keep these notes?
Bobby Bones
Beef. I keep everything. Yeah, really beefed. With Craig Campbell with your beefs. We haven't beefed forever. But what it was.
Amy
I don't remember this.
Bobby Bones
I'm going to tell you. Like 13 years ago, we first started here. Eddie and I were doing raging idiot songs with artists and we had them cover Lord Royals. Yeah, I remember they did really well streaming downloads at the time. And when TMZ had their country music version of TMC for a minute in Nashville, they went to him, they were like, hey, we saw the song. And he was like, yeah, I just decided to record it one day and I got so pissed, I was like, that's not what happened. But then it doesn't matter. It was all stupid anyway.
Amy
Okay, I do remember that.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Oh, and that is dumb. So. Golly, the cane thing, that's weird. I. That I can't even.
Bobby Bones
It just was a Twitter fight about something and I don't even remember. But that was my point, that a lot of these beefs. I don't even remember why we fought.
Amy
Well, you had the Florida Georgia line.
Bobby Bones
And that's the first one we go into. And we spend a lot of time on that one because that was like.
Amy
Then they tried to give you a piece of art and I said, I.
Bobby Bones
Don'T even know where that painting is. I don't want to spoil it because I talk about it.
Amy
Oh, you talk a lot.
Bobby Bones
So. But yeah, they gave me a painting. I don't know where it is. But that's on Thursday's Bobby Cast that comes out.
Amy
I gave you A painting once I know exactly where it is.
Bobby Bones
The John Mayer painting?
Amy
Yep.
Bobby Bones
Do I still have it?
Amy
Nope. It's at my house.
Bobby Bones
I gave it back. That's nice.
Amy
You didn't want. You didn't want it, so. And when John Mayer came in, I had him sign it. So it is a John Mayer original by me, signed by John.
Bobby Bones
That's pretty cool.
Amy
I have it.
Bobby Bones
You have your own original. That's pretty cool.
Amy
I have it in our game room. Like, the kids are like, why is this in here? What is this? I'm like, you can't.
Bobby Bones
Why do you have it?
Amy
Who that is? Because you didn't want it or something in your office. If you want it, I will gladly give it back.
Bobby Bones
I mean, you can keep it, but I remember having it forever.
Amy
Yeah, but I'll take it back.
Bobby Bones
I'll take it back. I'm building a new studio, so I'll take it back.
Amy
Okay. I should probably sign it too. Maybe I did.
Bobby Bones
Now we're good with you guys.
Amy
You want me to add more tattoos? Because when I did it.
Bobby Bones
Oh, you can't add to them now.
Amy
Why? John only had a few tattoos.
Narrator
You can't add to it.
Amy
So I feel like maybe.
Bobby Bones
No, you gotta leave the original art in the year it was made.
Caller Holly
Okay.
Bobby Bones
You can write on the back of it, like, Amy, in the year it was made.
Amy
I mean, gosh, it was like, 2000. What year was I into painting? Probably 2010.
Bobby Bones
Well, it was, like, three months inside of 2010.
Guest or Co-host
Yeah.
Amy
Let's go. I painted Taylor Swift. I painted John Mayer.
Guest or Co-host
And the end.
Bobby Bones
And you gave Taylor that painting?
Amy
Yes, I did.
Bobby Bones
And she said, oh, it's so beautiful. I put it on my tour bus. I wonder if it's still there.
Amy
She said, you are so talented. I have audio of her saying, you are so talented.
Bobby Bones
Amy, like, secretly recorded giving Taylor a painting and Taylor being super nice about it.
Amy
You are so talented.
Guest or Co-host
And you guys say I'm creepy.
Amy
That plays on, like, sometimes in my head. If, you know, when you're having moments where I don't feel talented, I hear, Taylor, you are so talented.
Bobby Bones
Benny Blanco got roasted after showing off luxury blueberries. So, by the way, if you do anything, if you were to show up and be like, hey, I just. This is a guy I just met on the street. Homeless guy. I just gave him a thousand bucks. You'd get roasted. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what you do. People will roast you because they have nothing else to do. So when I read that people get roasted or people like, oh, this happened with Miley Cyrus. And they show, like, Twitter comments of people going hard on her. It's like you just picked out three random comments. You could have picked out easily as many good comments. But Benny Blanco. But it is stupid. He had $200 luxury blueberries.
Amy
What is a luxury blueberries?
Bobby Bones
And he opened the box. It's a big box. It's these big blueberries, and they're in a box that look like the big chocolates when you open a box. And he thought it was wild. They came individually packed. And he was showing off the package, and he said the box was around 200 bucks. And so people were like, oh, you're tone deaf. Although I don't expect rich people to. If you. If you show your life, I don't expect you to hide your life. I don't think you have to go out of your way to be like, look how rich I am. But if you're super rich, I don't want you lying about it and, like, not showing. If you're someone who shows your life. Am I making sense?
Guest or Co-host
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Because if you're someone who's like, hey, I want to let you into my life, I don't want you to hide things because you're more successful than I am, because then you're not showing your life.
Guest or Co-host
I see what you're saying.
Bobby Bones
So you can pick. You can be like, yeah, I'm going to show you my luxury blueberries because I feel like these are crazy and show them.
Amy
Right.
Bobby Bones
But I would rather you not act like you don't have it, because that's a lie. So be honest. And I feel like he was being honest.
Guest or Co-host
Yeah, it's like Kim K, like, she shows us her life. She's rich. I want to see the rich stuff. That's the cool part about her life.
Bobby Bones
That's from Parade.
Guest or Co-host
That's Vinny Blanco.
Amy
Wow. Those blueberries, right?
Bobby Bones
I am interested. I'm interested. Look like apples. They're huge. They're not quite big as apples, but they're huge. A cryptocurrency scammer's five years on the run came to an end in South Korea. He was arrested for littering a cigarette butt. And they arrested him. And he was the guy that's been running because he was accused of defrauding 1300 people out of $13 million.
Amy
And that's how they got him.
Bobby Bones
If he gets arrested. Yeah, they got him. The Lil Nas X story is interesting because he has now been charged with four felonies. What they Say he could be in jail for years. Lil Nas X is facing years in prison because the LA County District Attorney has charged him with four felonies, including battery with injury on a police officer. TMZ broke the story. We saw the video of him walking. It says naked, but he was in his underwear when I saw it. Whitey tighties. Apparently he got naked at one.
Guest or Co-host
Another clip.
Bobby Bones
He did? Yeah. Yeah. I never saw the naked. He was naked on Vetura Boulevard when cops were called. They say they confronted him. He charged the officers naked. Oh, no. If you're a cop, you got to be like, all right. Because there's a movie scene. What? No country for All Men. Are they fighting naked in the shower? I don't think. Whatever it was, there's a. Oh, there he is. Butt naked. Was he got a different weapon coming at you?
Amy
I mean, I don't want to assume he's inebriated, but I think he was okay.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
I think they claimed he was a drug overdose.
Bobby Bones
They were saying that in, like, one of the first versions of the headlines, he was hit with a felony charge of resisting an executive officer. That is a cop. He was held without bail. He's set to be arraigned, if he hasn't been yet. I don't know. Yeah.
Guest or Co-host
His bail has now been set at $75,000.
Bobby Bones
Oh, that's nothing. He has to pay 7,500 bucks. He can get out. Cops arrested Lil Nas. They thought he was high on drugs, so I took him to the hospital and transferred him to jail. Tmz.
Guest or Co-host
His white cowboy boots are now available on eBay for $10,000 because he left them there and someone walking by picked him up.
Amy
Oh, wow.
Bobby Bones
Gotta get him to sign them, though. Otherwise, who cares? I got a picture of John Mayer Amy signed. Pretty cool. 10,000 bucks.
Amy
No. John signed it.
Bobby Bones
No, but you're gonna sign it too.
Amy
Sure. Okay.
Bobby Bones
John Mayer's coming to town to play Pilgrimage Festival.
Amy
Mm.
Bobby Bones
Not that I would go, because I don't really like to go to things, but it's when we're going for Iheart.
Amy
Oh, well, then you can't go.
Bobby Bones
I know.
Amy
I listened to him on Smartless. Was that the one I heard? Yeah, yeah, yeah. And then he sang. He did, like, a medley of. Ugh. It was good. He's interesting. He's kind of weird.
Bobby Bones
All. All are true.
Amy
Yeah, I know. I just went through on it, like, a. The episode. I think I thought all those things, like. But not in that order. I think I thought, oh, this. He's sort of Interesting. He's weird. And then he played and I was like, gosh, he's good. Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
What. His weirdness and what makes him interesting is that he is weird. It's also what makes him really good at what he does.
Amy
Right.
Bobby Bones
United pilot makes a difficult decision to cancel a flight on the Runway because a passenger was smoking weed in the bathroom. So he canceled the flight.
Amy
No way.
Bobby Bones
Yep. This is from the New York Post. A United pilot made the difficult decision to cancel the flight while it was on the Runway after a passenger smoked marijuana in the bathroom of the plane. It had to be a vape, right?
Guest or Co-host
I would assume.
Bobby Bones
Right. Because you're not really walking. You're not getting a bat. I don't know how you're getting that unless you're putting in your butthole.
Guest or Co-host
No, you can just put in your carry on bag. If you just put it in your suitcase and it's just in a. They're not gonna see it.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but I'm not risking it. That's the point. I'm not gonna go through. I put it in my butthole. That's not a risk. Well, I put a lot of stuff in my butthole just to see if I get it through.
Guest or Co-host
Okay, well, that's. You have.
Amy
You have that in your notes?
Guest or Co-host
No, no.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I do like. I do like quarter rolls. I just want to see it just for when I have to do it. I just like to. No, never done that. Yeah, they can. I'd have been so mad if I'm on this flight.
Amy
Yeah. I'd be like. A man of the Lord is delaying us for weed.
Bobby Bones
A man of the Lord?
Amy
Yeah, A pastor.
Bobby Bones
A pot.
Guest or Co-host
The pilot.
Amy
Oh, I thought you said the person smoking was a pastor.
Bobby Bones
No, I don't think so.
Guest or Co-host
No, no, I just said a pilot.
Bobby Bones
Listen, sometimes I don't know. Did I say that? Passenger.
Amy
Oh, passenger.
Bobby Bones
Okay, passenger.
Amy
Sorry, I heard pastor.
Bobby Bones
I didn't know what you were saying. A man of the land.
Guest or Co-host
Yeah, that's why I was like, what in the world?
Amy
I heard a pastor. But you said passenger.
Guest or Co-host
That would be a cool pastor, though.
Bobby Bones
A scientist says he's figured out the Bermuda Triangle.
Guest or Co-host
What is to figure out?
Bobby Bones
He says there's nothing supernatural about the Bermuda Triangle. And he blames rogue waves for the various disappearances over the years. He explains that this busy stretch of the ocean sees many ships and planes. The number of disappearances is what you'd expect. Nothing really unusual and basically it's their high profile. But that Bermuda Triangle goes from Miami through the Bahamas down to Turks and Caicos up to, like, Bermuda and then back. It's a. In like the 80s and 90s, it would be on Unsolved mysteries, like planes that disappeared of the Triangle, but apparently just rogue waves. Oh, you know what? Eddie's not here to talk about it, but we watched Amy Bradley.
Amy
Okay. And where do you think she is?
Bobby Bones
Dead.
Amy
You think she went overboard?
Bobby Bones
Probably. Probably. It's close. I think probably fell off the boat. Well, you did, like, 39 to 40 eyewitness testimonies are the least.
Amy
Right. It's like after all these years, too. It's like, what is she doing? I think there's a chance.
Bobby Bones
I think there's a chance because there was some weird stuff that happened, like the pictures they got of her on that site. But I would say like 39% chance she died. Like 32% chance she was trafficked off and died.
Amy
That would be terrible.
Bobby Bones
You know, 26% chance she's still alive. 3% chance she's doing. But I think of the betting odds, if I were betting them, I would bet she probably fell off the boat. But there are a lot of weird things that happen. Yeah, but. Yeah, we watched that.
Guest or Co-host
What'd you think, Amy?
Amy
I thought for a minute that she was trafficked sadly and was down in the Caribbean somewhere. But lately I've been thinking she fell overboard or just ended her life.
Bobby Bones
I feel bad for her parents because they're still searching, like.
Amy
Yeah, they haven't given up.
Bobby Bones
I know it's not a spoiler.
Amy
No. All this is known.
Bobby Bones
All this is. I knew that all before I went into it, but I didn't know all the details, like, the granular parts of it.
Amy
Yeah, there's still so much you could see. And I guess be. Gosh, entertain feels like the wrong word. But it still could be an interesting documentary.
Bobby Bones
Definitely compelling.
Amy
Compelling. Thank you. Sounds better. Because it feels weird to be all those things feel weird to be entertained by. Obviously someone has lost their life or is missing.
Bobby Bones
We were Talking yesterday on 25 whistles about this psycho stew who's a wrestler and got beat up by Rampage Jackson's son. Has this made it to you?
Amy
No, I guess it's not. My. Even though I've been watching that stuff, it is not wrestling.
Bobby Bones
It's really not wrestling in the or.
Amy
Wait, did it happen in the streets?
Bobby Bones
Kind of.
Amy
Then maybe. I did see something where, like, they were outside. They weren't like, in a ring.
Bobby Bones
Sort of the beginning of it. What did you see?
Amy
There was their cars. Well, I guess I saw two Guys in a headline and was somebody in a wheelchair?
Bobby Bones
No.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
No. I don't know.
Guest or Co-host
What in the world are you watching, Morgan?
Bobby Bones
Has it got to you? Yeah, a little bit.
Amy
But what I saw was that Mr. Beast was offering to pay for one of the. Like, not one.
Bobby Bones
The funeral or the. The hospital bills.
Amy
Yeah. So what happened?
Bobby Bones
Let me tell you what happened. So remember when you used to come over my house way back in Austin and we would watch UFC fights?
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
We'd all come over and remember Iceman?
Amy
Yeah. Yes. Iceman. Yeah. I feel like we made like poster boards or something at the same time.
Bobby Bones
There was a guy named Rampage Jackson. This is around the time when he was big in ufc. Yeah, it was good. So Rampage Jackson, very famous fighter. He has a son named Raja Jackson. Raja is now 23, 22. 23 years old. And so Raja goes to this wrestling event. He's also a big live streamer, which everything's live. And so he shows up to this wrestling event. He's going to be there at this wrestling event. And it's a. It's a small town wrestling event, meaning it's like an independent. It's not WWE or AEW or any of those. So he gets there and there are all these cameras and the wrestlers are like in the back of the warehouse just sitting around having a beer, talking. And they're not like, John Cena cut. They're like big fat dudes. Like, you know, just big fat dudes that probably are strong and still athletic. And one of the wrestlers, Psycho Stu, thinks that Raja, because he has all these cameras with him, and the cameras come over, thinks he's a wrestler because Raja's big, big dude. And so he takes a can that's empty and does this thing where you smash it on the head, but you really don't smash it. One, there's nothing in it. And two, you smash it with your own hand as you hit the head. It's a wrestling move. And so they had this thing that Roger gets pissed. He's like, why did you do that to me? Psycho Stu didn't realize he wasn't a wrestler. All the cameras were there. He thought they were doing like a work whatever. After that, you then see the apology. Psycho Stu goes up and is like, dude, I'm sorry. I thought you were a wrestler. And all the cameras were here and they like, shake on it, dap it out. It's like, all good. Like, there was an apology. There was an acceptance of the apology, and moving on. Psycho Stew then was like, hey, another Wrestler was like, hey, let's make this a thing in the ring. Then, since we streamed it, you come in later and start beating up Psycho Stew and we'll pull you off. And so he's like, okay. Well, what seemed to me, and then a lot of other people on the Internet is that he was still listening to his chat and they were firing him up. And he was like, you're going to take that abuse. And he was like, okay, I'm gonna hop in the ring and I'm gonna beat him up for real. Now Psycho Stu thinks that Roger Jackson is going to jump in and he's going to make himself vulnerable because Roger Jackson's gonna do a move to him, and you kind of have to make yourself vulnerable to be a part of that. So Roger Jackson picks him up, slams him on his head hard, and then as he's knocked out, starts punching him in the face as hard as he can.
Amy
Oh, my.
Bobby Bones
Not once or like 10, 15 punches in the face and everybody's conf. First, this was part of what they had talked about. But he wasn't wrestling. He was beating the crap out of, like, a body that had no life to it. So finally they come in. Amy, I'm talking about he beats the crap out of him.
Amy
Why did nobody intervene fast?
Bobby Bones
Because they thought it was a work, which they thought it was wrestling because they had decided he was going to come in the ring. But he took that time, according to what I've seen. He slams him way too hard, knocks him out, and then just starts punching him in the face as hard as you possibly can. Finally, people get in, another wrestler comes in, and then you see Roger Jackson on the phone. They're still streaming, and he's like, I'm not letting people f with me. Psycho Stu's been. He was out. He was non responsive. So Mr. Beast is in the news because he's like, I'll cover your bills. It's not like these wrestlers have a bunch of money at this level. They have none. They're doing it for like 50 bucks a show. So in the video, Psycho Stu was unconscious. Later that day, a user eared buck reported that Psycho Stew had broken facial bones and lost teeth.
Amy
Hmm.
Bobby Bones
He also said that the former American vet, because he was a veteran, he choked on his own blood and teeth after being hit by Roger Jackson while already unconscious. Unconscious. I don't want to say like that. YouTuber MrBeast responded, promising to help Psychos too. Dang, man, this hurts to see. Especially because I read he was a veteran that used wrestling as an outlet to get over ptsd. If anyone connected knows how I can help, Please reach out so I can help him with his hospital bills.
Amy
Colleen, it was terrible.
Bobby Bones
It was crazy looking. And I can understand why people thought it was part of the wrestling event, because they had already worked out that he was going to jump in and there was already an apology. Like, in. He hit him with the beer can, except it wasn't a real can. And then he was like, oh, my bad. I'm very sorry. And Raja accepted the apology. He was like, got it. No problem. So let's turn this into something. Except he let his chat get him, and then we turned it into something.
Amy
Is that what he said later? Like, I let the chat get to.
Bobby Bones
See him on the chat before he goes in. Right, Mike? Yeah, because he hasn't said anything. Yeah, he's, like, leaning over the phone and he's like, I'm not. Yeah. And then he puts it down and goes in and beats crap out of him.
Amy
So that fired up Wild.
Bobby Bones
That's why you don't look at the comments.
Amy
Yeah, it's one reason.
Guest or Co-host
But now he's been banned from Kick.
Bobby Bones
That's why you don't look at the comments.
Amy
Well, I mean, yeah, he's not. But he wasn't a wrestler anyway.
Guest or Co-host
No, the streaming platform. He can't.
Amy
Sorry. That Kick was a. All right. Thought it was a wrestling club.
Bobby Bones
A teacher on sick leave for 16 years refuses to test to see if she got better.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
What? In 2009, a teacher took sick leave from work and she hasn't been back since. The entire time the teacher has been able to pull in a full salary.
Amy
No way.
Guest or Co-host
That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
It wasn't until recently the authority decided to question her extended absence and request proof of illness. And so she sued, saying that she refused to take a medical test. Estimates suggest that this teacher has been able to pull in around $84,000 annually during her sick leave. That's a good job if you can get it.
Guest or Co-host
That's unbelievable.
Bobby Bones
Metro with that story. Metro with that story. Amy, anything for you.
Guest or Co-host
Before we go.
Bobby Bones
We gotta take a break anyway.
Amy
No, I'm just thinking about this. When do we get an update on Psycho ii? Yeah, I don't know.
Bobby Bones
I think that was it. Right? Yeah, I said critical but stable condition. Critical condition?
Amy
Oh, my gosh.
Bobby Bones
That Roger has to go to jail.
Amy
That was my next question.
Bobby Bones
Has to go to jail.
Amy
So, like. But what if the charges have to be pressed or kind of.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, they could be pressed. And yes, But I think the D A in California. It was in California. I think so, yeah.
Amy
Now I gotta go see if this is the video that I loosely saw. Like, were people outside? Maybe it was just like people outside talking about it because I feel like I saw these words and guys fighting. I don't know where I got a guy in a wheelchair, but maybe you just saw some.
Bobby Bones
There was a guy in a chair.
Guest or Co-host
Yeah. Folding.
Bobby Bones
Maybe the wheel on a car that you saw. And all of a sudden it's a wheelchair.
Amy
Got it, got it, got it.
Bobby Bones
Next thing you know, okay, let's take a break. And then we got a bunch of calls. We're gonna do. Yeah. All right, cool.

LaGuardia Airport.
The holiday rush. Parents hauling luggage. Kids gripping their new Christmas toys. Then at 6:33pm everything changed.

There's a famous headline, I think, in the New York Daily News. It's Teddy Escapes, Blonde Drowns. And in a strange way, right, that sort of tells you the story really.
Amy
Became about ted's political future, Ted's political hopes.
Bobby Bones
Will Ted become president?
Narrator
Kappaquiddick is a story of a tragic death and how the Kennedy machine took control.

I'm Dr. Joy Hardin Bradford, and in session 421 of Therapy for Black Girls, I sit down with Dr. Afia and Billy Shaka to explore how our hair connects to our identity, mental health, and the ways we heal.
Bobby Bones
Because I think hair is a complex language system, right, in terms of it can tell how old you are, your marital status, where you're from, you are spiritually. But I think with social media, there's like a hyper fixation and observation of our hair, right? That this is sometimes the first thing.
Caller Anna
Someone sees when we make a post.
Bobby Bones
Or a reel is how our hair is styled.

Check Bobby Bones.
Bobby Bones
Let's grab some calls. Carla in New Mexico is on now. Hey, Carla, what's going on?
Caller Anna
Hey, Bobby, I know that you are trying to choose between two NFL teams, so I wanted to throw a proposition out for you.
Bobby Bones
I'm listening. Go ahead.
Caller Anna
Okay, so just imagine September. You and Jerry Jones are sitting in an owner's suite watching the game, and you both can say that you are NFL owners because if you choose the Green Bay packers, as you know, they are the only team that is owned by the fans. So I don't know about you, but I think that'd be a pretty pulpit.
Bobby Bones
Okay, so I appreciate the call. I am down to the two teams. I feel like the packers have won recently. And so I feel like also it's too cold there. You guys have an advantage and that is when people come into Lambeau in November, it's terrible. It's snow. I don't want to have to go to a game and be in freeze the whole time. But that is definitely an advantage for teams in Green bay and buffalo, etc. I think that's going to really keep me from being a Packers fan. I like the Packers. I appreciate the packers, but I don't think I'm gonna be a fan. Also, if you're an owner like you, you can't really sell the share. You pay money and then you have a piece of paper that says you're an owner, but you don't get to do anything with it. And so when I own a team one day and I'm really close by the way, I can say no more.
Amy
But, like, what?
Bobby Bones
I can say no more.
Amy
You can say what? Like, type of sport?
Bobby Bones
I can say no more, but I'll say it is not a goober sport. It's a real sport. It's a real team and a real league. That's all I'll say.
Amy
Okay, well, I have more questions that I'm scared to ask because then what if you're like, I'm not going to say, like, I can ask whatever and you can just plead the fifth.
Bobby Bones
Go ahead.
Amy
Like, is it.
Bobby Bones
I will say nothing.
Amy
Okay, nevermind. That's a good question, though.
Bobby Bones
Amy.
Guest or Co-host
Amy, good question.
Amy
In Is it something you're already Sort of involved in. But you are going to level up?
Bobby Bones
Can't really comment on that.
Amy
Is it in the state I was.
Bobby Bones
Born in, I'm already owner of that major league pickleball.
Amy
Okay. Is it in America?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Wow. You're involved in a lot.
Guest or Co-host
It's in America.
Bobby Bones
This is what happens when you give a poor kid money and he gets older and has. Is like, oh, I have money now, what can I do? Well, you buy stupid stuff. Although this one probably won't be stupid. Yeah, I don't feel like it comes to fruition.
Amy
Oh, is it local? Ish. You're not going to answer?
Bobby Bones
Am I going to answer?
Amy
Why do I keep asking? But I think maybe now that's a good question.
Bobby Bones
You don't know?
Amy
I don't. I mean, I'm not saying that I do. I just have guesses.
Bobby Bones
You don't know.
Amy
Like, I have lots of guesses. I'm going to range.
Bobby Bones
I'm going to Broncos. I'm buying them from Walmart.
Amy
Oh, Walmart owns the Broncos?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
Well, that's.
Bobby Bones
That's kind of the owner of one of the Wal.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
That feels like a sign.
Bobby Bones
Because you love a sign.
Amy
Yes. Because Walmart people are from Arkansas, you're from Arkansas, you can, you know. Do you see that?
Bobby Bones
Like, yes. People have also called and made the connection.
Amy
Well, I didn't hear.
Bobby Bones
I know you were gone for a couple of weeks.
Amy
Yeah, that came from my own.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Carla, I respect the Packer fans. You guys are insane. And that's the best kind of fan base. But for me, it's going to be either the Panthers who haven't won forever, or the Broncos who haven't won in a bit and have a bit more history and tradition. So. But thank you for the call. I really appreciate that.
Caller Anna
Yeah, thanks for taking my call.
Bobby Bones
Alright, see you later. Let's go over to Holly in Wichita, Kansas. Holly, you are on the show. What's going on? Hi, I'm Holly.
Caller Holly
I was calling to put my 2 cents in about who Bobby should pick.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Caller Holly
I think the Broncos should be his choice. Mostly because they did something super awesome for my son. He was 11. He was one of my students and we were in the process of adopting him. He got adopted on his 11th birthday, which was December 20, and the Broncos had surprised him with a Christmas Day package for him to go down on the field at the Broncos Chiefs game. Some of the Broncos players tossed footballs with him, played with him, gave him a whole package of swag and stuff like that. So they really Went above and beyond to make him feel special. He was born in Colorado, so he's always had a connection to the Broncos just because of where he was born. And I felt like that should be 100 votes towards the Broncos instead of just one.
Bobby Bones
That's a pretty cool story. Aside from who I picked. That's. I like that. What players did he, like, hang out with?
Caller Holly
I am not the sportsball person. I do believe somebody named Weber. There was a player named Weber. That's all I remember. But I'm. I'm not the sports ball. My husband would shoot me if I couldn't tell you. But I have no idea. The even more ironic part of the story. My husband is a hardcore Chiefs fan.
Bobby Bones
Oh, that's funny.
Caller Holly
And then we adopted two more children, and they are hardcore Raiders fans.
Bobby Bones
Wow.
Caller Holly
So it's. The poor guy has a house full of rivals.
Bobby Bones
Well, I will. I'll factor that into my decision, which should be coming pretty soon. But I appreciate you calling. Thanks for listening.
Caller Holly
Not a problem. Thank you so much.
Bobby Bones
All right, see you later. And I'll figure out who that Weber guy is. I don't know of a Weber that played for Denver.
Guest or Co-host
Denver Broncos had a quarterback named Adam Weber in 2011.
Bobby Bones
Oh, was it that long ago that she was talking? That's.
Guest or Co-host
I didn't know when. That's the only Weber I could find.
Bobby Bones
Huh. All right.
Guest or Co-host
Oh, wait. Mike Weber, an American football running back, played for the Broncos. And Ryan Weber.
Bobby Bones
Who knew Weber was so prominent?
Guest or Co-host
Yeah, collegiate player that played for Malone University.
Bobby Bones
All right, let's go over to Josh in Missouri, who's on the phone. Hey, Josh. What's going on, buddy? Josh? Josh. Josh. Josh, Josh. Hello? Yes, sir. Hey. So there was a prediction made in January, and I was calling to try to get an answer on it. He predicted it was for one of the cast members there, and I was just trying to see what it was. Yeah, so here's the thing about that, Josh. I nailed the prediction. The thing is, I can never reveal it. It's. It's not a bit. I thought I could reveal it one day, and it'd be like, dang, is he psychic? Is that type thing. I can never reveal it, but I nailed the prediction.
Amy
But, like, we don't know what it is either, so.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, the only person who knows is Mike, because Mike wrote on it. Like, wrote the date and wrote on the seal. So if I ripped it, I nailed the prediction. Mike, did I nail the prediction? Yep, but it's dead and buried. But it's dead. This is not even a bit.
Amy
Huh?
Bobby Bones
But I nailed it so hard, I just can't reveal it. If we want to do the bit where I put all of you guys, like, on a wheel or something, and whoever hits it can open it, but you can't say what it is. Like, if I want to let one other person see it. I nailed it so hard. But it just wouldn't be good if I were to reveal it. Not at all. Okay. But my.
Amy
Like, is it problematic if you reveal it, though? Like, so it just could be embarrassing.
Bobby Bones
You say I said nothing, actually.
Amy
You alluded to him.
Bobby Bones
No, he kind of said I didn't bring this up. And now I'm glad Josh did, because I was thinking about this the other night. I hate to let things just float away, but I'm going to say that this will be something I can maybe in years I can reveal it, but I can't right now because it. It. What it brings will not be. Will not be great. So I said I didn't nail it, though.
Amy
What it brings will not be great. Well, now I'm gonna be thinking about this randomly at night.
Bobby Bones
Exactly.
Guest or Co-host
Amy, what are your. Like, what has come true this year? Like, what has happened?
Amy
I have no. I don't even know.
Bobby Bones
I think the only person that knows is the person that knows. That's Mike D. No, it's the person that knows.
Amy
The person that knows it came true.
Bobby Bones
The person doesn't know that I guessed it.
Amy
So the person wouldn't know.
Bobby Bones
But they know.
Amy
They obviously know it has to, and they'd be embarrassed.
Bobby Bones
It's truth, and it's the envelope of truth.
Amy
But did he try. Sometimes Lunchbox, he, like, hints at a word to get us off the track, so it probably isn't embarrassing. You did that, Bobby. You know, you went M. Or did you mean, like M? Like. What's another word that starts with that?
Bobby Bones
Impasse. Imposter.
Amy
Okay, well, great. I hadn't thought about this in a.
Bobby Bones
While, and now all I know is you guys do not need me to open the envelope on the air. It would be terrible for. It'd be terrible for everybody.
Amy
For everybody or everybody or just one person?
Bobby Bones
It would just be bad for a person. And then it just gets. Then you know how it turns in here.
Amy
So you're gonna do the wheel thing?
Bobby Bones
I don't know. Think I should kill it or should I let one person see it? I kind of like the one person seeing it, but the one person has to, like, they can't ever say it. Yeah. Could the person.
Amy
It's about be on the wheel.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, of course. Because what if I put the wheel up and the one person.
Guest or Co-host
You would know who it was about?
Bobby Bones
Of course. Yeah. But I guess I might not trust everybody and not saying anything at all. Well, we do the wheel and we don't put lunchbox on it. Whoa.
Guest or Co-host
I am such a good secret keeper that it's ridiculous.
Bobby Bones
He'll be low on prep one day and just send it. Yeah. He'll have nothing for the show and be like, I know. Somebody left an anonymous message about what's in the envelope. Anonymous. Spill the tea.
Guest or Co-host
That's not like me.
Bobby Bones
So that's what's up. Josh, I appreciate you calling because I was thinking about this and I thought, how can I address that? I still know it. I'm not forgetting about it. I also don't want to do the thing where I should keep stretching it. But it is what it is at this point, and it personally would not be good.
Amy
I mean, I think we're assuming it's somebody on the show, but it could be somebody in country music.
Bobby Bones
Somebody on the show.
Amy
Oh, you've said that.
Bobby Bones
I'm just telling you somebody on the show. And it's a prediction that I made that for sure came true. And it just wouldn't be good because this. I don't think it's. It's something that's wanted to be known.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
What?
Guest or Co-host
Someone has a skeleton on this show.
Amy
That you know about that came true, and then they know about it because it came true.
Guest or Co-host
We all don't know about it, but.
Amy
Nobody else knows except for Mike D.
Bobby Bones
You pretty much nailed it.
Amy
How did you know?
Bobby Bones
I guessed it. I could see. I could see things coming a mile away.
Amy
But you guessed it. But then how did you get confirmation?
Bobby Bones
Some call me the falsest prophet of all time.
Amy
The what?
Bobby Bones
The falsest prophet.
Amy
Sorry, I don't know if it's with the false. Is what?
Bobby Bones
The falsest prophet.
Amy
Oh, the falsest.
Bobby Bones
I'm a false prophet.
Amy
You're the falsest of them all?
Bobby Bones
Yes.
Guest or Co-host
Are you saying false?
Amy
Like F A, L, S E, False prophet. But he was saying falsest, falsest prophet of them all. The falsest prophet of them all.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Except I nailed this one. That's all.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
I can see things coming a mile away. All right, Josh, thank you. I'll consider that. But it's going to drive the listeners crazy.
Amy
Yeah, it's driving me crazy right now. Okay. So sometimes you predict things, but also sometimes you make things happen. Like when you draw those lines.
Bobby Bones
I didn't make this happen. Trust me. I didn't make this happen. Trust me.
Amy
You lead the horse to the water.
Bobby Bones
Not really. How you say that you lead the witness.
Amy
How do you want to say it? You do that thing where you're like, hey, what's that thing you do? And then you draw it on paper, and then you're like, how many of this? And then I'm like, 17. And then you hold up the paper and you're like, 17. I knew you were going to say that. I made you say that like you. You know what I mean? What's that game called?
Bobby Bones
It's not really called a game.
Amy
It's called.
Bobby Bones
It's not being psychic or anything. It's literally magic. No, it's me positioning you in a way you don't know you're being positioned.
Amy
Exactly. Did you position this person?
Bobby Bones
No.
Guest or Co-host
Did you proposition this person?
Bobby Bones
No.
Guest or Co-host
Okay.
Bobby Bones
All right, we're done. Thank you. Everybody down on that call. Do we have another call? Let's go to one more call. Let's go to Anna in Florida. Anna. Hey, Anna, you're on.
Caller Anna
Hey, good morning.
Bobby Bones
Morning. What can I do for you?
Caller Anna
So I was calling for some advice. My brother is getting married next year, and we're working on our relationship. We haven't really been talking very much in the past seven years. Well, I offered to do a engagement party for them because I really want them to know that we support them. Well, he. I called them and I was talking about the engagement party with them, and they told me that they don't have very many plans for the wedding, but they do know that they don't want any kids there. Well, this kind of threw me off because the only people in our family that have kids that would be coming would be me and my sister. And the reason why this kind of is a red flag for me, and I'm trying to decide if I'm being sensitive is because when I had my daughter at the time, I had only met his fiance once, and she got upset that we did not reach out to her when we had her and we were in the hospital because I didn't know that she was interested. And so I'm trying to decide if I'm being sensitive and this is a normal thing for weddings, or if there's a little bit of cattiness in it.
Bobby Bones
Listen, I think three things can be true. I think you don't have to pick one of those things. Are you being sensitive? Yeah, a little. But you deserve to be sensitive because the relationship hasn't been Good. And you want to be sensitive. You also deserve to be sensitive after all the things that have happened between you guys. So, yeah, you're probably a little sensitive, but that's okay. You deserve to have your feelings. Number two is a little bit cattiness. Yeah, probably. There's probably not just cattiness, but, like, posturing for position. Like, you know, it's my wedding. I want to be dominant, even though you're doing the deal. So that can also happen. Is it normal for weddings to have no kids? Sure, it. Some have that. We didn't have any kids at our wedding. We had some. A few kids that were, like, in the wedding, but it was a no cell phone and no kids wedding, and that was okay. Is it, you know, common? Probably not, but is it normal? Sure. So all three things can be true. So I want to say that, first of all, you don't have to pick one of those lanes to go down. Yes, yes, and yes. Also, this is going to be hard, but I understand why that it would kind of hurt your feelings that they say no kids, especially if you have the only kids, because that sucks. That feels a bit personal. And I understand why that would be sensitive to you. But it is their wedding, and you have volunteered to pay for this party. Now, with that does not come ownership of you getting to dictate terms of their wedding. So I would say that. So what I would encourage you to do is at times when you have to massage a relationship back into place, is to understand that you're going to have to sacrifice a little bit. And some of the sacrifice might be that your kids don't go to the wedding. So I would encourage you not to make this about you, to make this about the wedding. And yep, it sucks. It sucks. And it also might be personal. And it also might be personal from not even him, from her. Who knows? Not up to you to unfold that. Up to you if you want to be the supportive sister and rebuild this relationship, to just be a part of the wedding. And you've offered a really selfless thing, and I love that. And I think that's super great. And you are putting in the work and the effort, and so continue putting in the work and the effort. No kids at the wedding, if that's what they want. I don't think that it's wrong to have one more conversation, though, but not in an angry way to go, hey, the only kids that would be coming were ours. Are you sure you won't reconsider this? And if they say no, we don't want any kids. Okay, you got it. And then it's up to him or them to invest into the relationship after the wedding. I don't think that their wedding is the time for them to invest in this relationship. I think it's the time for them to get married and for you to do your investment. So I would encourage you to go along with their wishes. And, yep, you're probably a little sensitive. And, yep, they're probably being a little catty. And, yep, it's kind of normal at times for people not to have kids. So all that can be true. Okay, that sucks.
Caller Anna
I needed that.
Bobby Bones
It's not. It's not the most fun answer, honestly. It's not like I'm telling you this and going like, this is such a great answer. I'm glad you called. I'm going to tell you how I feel, and you're going to love it.
Amy
I think it is a really good answer.
Bobby Bones
That's not fun. It's not a fun answer to hear. But I don't know you, so it's easier to do this when I don't know people because I don't have to live with you and be like, oh, they're in a bad mood because of some advice I gave them. It's easy to do this with you, Anna, because, like, I'm rooting for you. But also it's like, I don't have personal interest. I'm going to tell you exactly how I feel. So do your investment now. Suck it up. And hopefully the relationship gets better because of the sacrifice that you're making. And they will meet you with sacrifice later on.
Caller Anna
I can definitely do that.
Bobby Bones
That's really cool that you called, though, and. Or that even you think about this from a perspective of, well, I know I'm right. You're like, hey, how do you see this? So I think that says a lot about what you want out of the future with your family. And I think that's super cool, and I'm rooting for you guys to kind of patch it back up.
Caller Anna
Thank you.
Bobby Bones
All right, good luck. Please let us know how it goes. But there's nothing wrong with having one more conversation with him. But don't make him defensive. Like, don't challenge him on it. Be like, hey, I was thinking about it, and I get it. You don't want to have kids at the wedding. Is there any chance you would let our kids come since they're the only kids? And if he gives you a thoughtful response, totally accept it and move on to the Wedding.
Caller Anna
I wouldn't even know how to start that. That conversation. And I think that's kind of why I've just been like, okay, well, they're just not gonna come.
Bobby Bones
Burner email.
Caller Anna
Because burner. I just don't want to be.
Amy
So I was thinking about these kids that can't come sign anonymous.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Guest or Co-host
Oh, she sounds sad.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it sucks.
Amy
Well, it's a. It's.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, it's a real life thing. Swallow real life thing.
Amy
And it's like, I think for me, sometimes because of my past hurts, I assign that someone else is doing something because of, you know, and I make up a whole story. And you could be making up a story right now. Like Bobby said, all these things could be true. They could be doing it. And also it could be a story in your head. And also it's their wedding. So you kind of just have to let that go.
Bobby Bones
Yep. Good luck. Anna, we. You know what? I feel good about it for you because I can tell you're gonna put in the work, and this is one of those things that takes work and being uncomfortable to grow. So good luck and hopefully we'll talk to you soon. Let us know how it goes. Like, when is the wedding?
Caller Anna
So they're not getting married until next December.
Bobby Bones
Oh, listen, you got time. Heck, you're gonna be 18 by then. They'll be adults. They can go.
Amy
Yep.
Bobby Bones
All right, Anna, thank you for the call. I hope you have a good day.
Caller Anna
You too.
Bobby Bones
All right, bye.
Caller Anna
Bye.

Episode Title: TUES PT 2: Why Does Bobby Love Haters? + Is Bobby Going To Own A Sports Team? + Why Bobby Can NEVER Reveal Predictions About Show Members + Bobby Gives A Listener Some Tough Love
In this episode, Bobby Bones and the crew dive into the psychology of online hate (and why Bobby views haters as a sign of relevance), field spirited listener calls about sports, debate the pros and cons of team ownership, and discuss a mysteriously accurate prediction about a show member Bobby refuses to reveal. The show also includes a heartfelt advice segment where Bobby counsels a listener through a tricky family situation. With their signature blend of humor, honesty, and real talk, the cast examines controversy, public perception, and personal growth.
[06:32 - 13:20]
Toxicity of online comments: Bobby talks about the barrage of negative feedback on Facebook, particularly regarding innocuous topics like restaurant logo changes (e.g., Cracker Barrel and Sonic). He explores how groupthink and online outrage are fueled by trends and memes instead of genuine feeling.
Bobby’s approach to criticism:
Insight: Haters serve as a “signal” of success, and accepting a degree of public dislike is part of public life.
[12:14 - 16:16]
[17:57 - 19:23]
[19:38 - 32:33]
Cryptocurrency scammer caught for littering: A scammer is arrested after five years on the run—due to littering a cigarette [19:39].
Lil Nas X charged with felonies: Discussion on the incident involving Lil Nas X and the triviality (yet inevitability) of public meltdown headlines.
Weed on a plane: A United pilot cancels a flight after a passenger is caught smoking marijuana in the bathroom, sparking amusement and speculation among the crew about smuggling methods and passenger frustration.
Bermuda Triangle ‘solved’: Bobby covers a scientific claim that rogue waves explain the Bermuda Triangle, debunking supernatural causes [23:55].
Amy Bradley documentary recap: The crew debates if Amy Bradley (a missing woman from a cruise ship) was trafficked or fell overboard, admitting there’s still no closure for her family [25:53].
Wrestling controversy (Psycho Stu & Raja Jackson): Bobby recounts a viral wrestling incident where a match turned violent and a wrestler was seriously injured. MrBeast offers to cover medical bills. The crew debates live streaming’s perverse incentives and culpability.
[38:36 - 41:54]
[44:51 - 48:59]
[50:39 - 57:17]
This episode is classic Bobby Bones: candid about the ugly side of online culture, but always mixing insight with humor. It offers new perspectives on public life (“negativity means relevance”), explores the dynamics of loyalty and team ownership, and reminds listeners of the importance of humility and sacrifice in family relationships. While Bobby keeps some mysteries close to the chest (like his prediction and the sports team), the show maintains its inviting, confessional tone, giving listeners both entertainment and thoughtful advice.
