What's up? It's me, Don Toliver. If I could describe the open earbud, I would describe it as very seamless. It's like you clip it onto your ear and then sometimes you can forget it's there, but it's not going anywhere because it's like clipped. It's kind of crazy. If I could bring my music with me wherever I go, it just make life easier and seamless without interruption. To be able to have the music on hand like that without any interruptions would be great. Your DSW store or dsw.com it's time for the Bobby Bones Post Show. Here's your host, Bobby Bones. Big yawn. I. I went to sleep early last night, too. What's up, everybody? Two planes click flipped wings in Boston at Logan Airport. That's weird. It's always weird when planes hit each other. I mean, they're big.
Don Toliver
I get it, but that happened, like, a month ago.
Eddie
Yeah, I mean, I guess it's a numbers game. You're talking about millions, hundreds of thousands of planes a week. But still, you're like, I'd be so annoyed. Like it's somebody's fault. Yeah, it's one of the two's fault. One of the two made a mistake, and they got the plane a little too close to the other plane. So if it's my pilot, I'm very irritated. I'm irritated if it's not my pilot, because now the planes.
Don Toliver
What about the guy with a flashlight? Could it be his fault?
Eddie
No, cannot be his fault because he doesn't get paid enough.
Don Toliver
That's. There's no way, right?
Eddie
What do you think? What do you think?
Amy
No, I'm just thinking about. Yeah. To Eddie's point. Like, who, What. What are they looking to. For direction. If they are looking for those, you know, director, like, the yellow, the orange things. Hmm.
Eddie
I will not blame him. Or her. Or her. Because you know what? He didn't get paid enough for that bull crap.
Don Toliver
And there's lines, right? Like, they follow. So, like, I feel like it's pretty easy.
Amy
Yeah, but. No, but if you're backing out of your. There's no lines. I don't think if you're. If you're clipping wings, you might be.
Eddie
In our parking garage, bro.
Don Toliver
Good point.
Amy
I just. I don't know. The layout of. Maybe it was their first time to that airport, and they're like, whoop, tight squeeze.
Eddie
You know, the person had a learner's permit, he was flying with somebody who was teaching him.
Amy
What? Honestly, there's always the first flight, Bones.
Don Toliver
You know, that they can't back up. There's no Reverse on planes.
Eddie
Yeah, I know that. They have to push it back with the car.
Don Toliver
Yeah, I was just checking, in case you didn't know.
Eddie
Okay. Thank you, Eddie, for that.
Don Toliver
Yeah. Because there. I mean, there's no rear view mirrors. Like, how can they see?
Eddie
I took a picture of somebody. I don't know who this is. And this is their truck, and they were completely blocking the spot this morning. Yeah, I don't know if somebody works here. Well, you suck. But if you're.
Amy
Yeah, I wanted that spot.
Eddie
It's a pretty good spot. But they left their truck poking out so much, it completely blocked another spot in our parking garage, which is nowhere to. It's hard to park anyway because it's not even a massive truck.
Don Toliver
And they could go back a little more.
Eddie
Their nose is fully blocking another spot. And that is rude. And if I were, like, in a bad mood, maybe I'll leave a note.
Amy
Anonymous.
Don Toliver
No, sign it, dude.
Eddie
No, I'd sign up for somebody else's name.
Don Toliver
Lunchbox.
Eddie
Did you guys see that spot this morning?
Don Toliver
Yes, I did.
Amy
Yes, I wanted it, and I had to. I actually went all the way in. That was the only spot left in there. And the only way out. It's just a back straight up. So then that's always dangerous for me.
Eddie
Somebody gave me that. I'm sorry. The other day coming around because they were going a little too fast. They were like, oh, God, I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Amy
It happens.
Don Toliver
That wasn't me, man. I slowed down.
Eddie
No. I didn't know the person was. But the parking garage is so tight, you're whipping around eight floors, and if you're not going slow or paying attention, you could easily hit somebody also coming up. And they gave me the. Oh, God, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. And. And luckily we hit each other. I wasn't mad, but I also haven't almost hit anybody yet because I think eventually that'd be my fault. It just. It's a numbers game here, too. Like, eventually we're gonna not go too fast. But maybe you don't take the curve perfectly right because you've taken it so many times and you've not run into somebody. That's gonna happen for somebody here. It's gonna be annoying.
Amy
I'd rather not be me.
Eddie
I'd rather not be me. But I got hit with I'm sorry. Eddie almost killed somebody.
Don Toliver
Yeah. And I try to tell her I'm sorry, but she, like, roll the window down like she wanted to talk about it. I'M like, no, no, no.
Eddie
Yeah. What would there have been to actually talk about? Like, I wonder what the learning lesson would have been there.
Amy
Slow down.
Eddie
I mean, well, he's already going to slow down. Like, he. He realizes that's what's up.
Don Toliver
Correct. And I can read her lips. She said, slow the down.
Eddie
Oh, wow. Oh, yeah.
Don Toliver
So I knew that conversation was going to be good. So no point in me rolling my window.
Eddie
Yeah. What are you going to learn? You just learned everything.
Don Toliver
Right.
Eddie
So why would you stop and let someone berate you even more? You messed up.
Don Toliver
Correct.
Eddie
And did you give her the I'm sorry?
Don Toliver
Yeah.
Eddie
Did you take your cowboy hat off, a tip it to her?
Don Toliver
No, I didn't do that. But I did mouth the.
Eddie
That's tough, though, because that could look like Europe. I mean, the mouth thing can be interpreted.
Don Toliver
I'm sorry. Look alike.
Eddie
You're a hoe.
Amy
What?
Eddie
I'm just doing the. Oh, I'm sorry. You're a hoe. It isn't. I'm just saying. And you're also thinking she's looking right at your mouth then, too. I wouldn't stop, though. A guy comes back from the dead moments before he's about to be cremated. Morgue workers went for a surprise when the dead man they were about to cremate suddenly woke up. The man, 45, is said to have shocked onlookers when he began breathing as he was about to be burned. Crematorium.
Don Toliver
Oh, my goodness.
Eddie
This is not in America.
Don Toliver
Oh, it's not America. I was gonna ask you.
Eddie
There are two things. One is in America, and two, are they recording this for Tick Tock? And so usually it's not in America. And if it is in America, they're gonna be recording this for Tick Tock. Because that's like something. That's one of those pranks where somebody comes out of the casket. Ah, gosh, dude.
Don Toliver
A funeral. If we worked at a funeral home, can you imagine the Tick Tock we'd come up with?
Amy
You can't do that.
Eddie
No, he didn't say actually do us. He said come up with.
Don Toliver
Yeah, and we wouldn't use real bodies. We would use, like, lunchbox. Like, lunchbox. Act like you're dead and then we'll do a video.
Eddie
Yeah, we'd for sure be banned from whatever that organization is. Yeah, we'd be banned from that for sure. Thanksgiving is canceled after a sister's strict family code of conduct sparks rebellion by the host. A person canceled her Thanksgiving after her sister introduced a strict family code of Conduct that included bans on overlapping conversations, political discussions, a smart casual dress code, and assigned seating based on personality compatibility. You know, all those things are probably, like, good ideas, but mostly you just kind of keep up with it as it goes, and you don't declare it being a rule. I love the no political discussions. It should be no political discussions, parentheses. Unless you're talking to someone that's of.
Amy
The, like, mind, and nobody that's not of, like, mind can hear you.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah. So. But again, trying to put rules down at Thanksgiving I think can be a good idea. They shouldn't be rules, though. They should be suggestions based on a happy Thanksgiving. Well, no political sounded good. That should. That should be a rule. The problem is it's such pop culture.
Don Toliver
Yeah.
Eddie
Politics is pop culture. And you're going, don't talk about the biggest story in the news, period. Or anything that is political adjacent. And not that it's hard to do, but a lot of people put a lot of their emotional energy, end up reading it, learning it, caring about it, being angry about it, being happy about it.
Don Toliver
Like, I have a family member that 100% is going to bring up politics. Like, and we just know it. So we're just like, how are we all going to respond to it? Do we ignore this person? Do we say, like, cool passion. Pass the mashed potatoes? Like, what do we do?
Eddie
You can definitely do that. Yeah. Without her feeling like she or him. You said. I think you said her.
Amy
No, he said family member.
Eddie
Oh, I just assumed. I don't know why I thought it was a woman, but do I know who it is?
Don Toliver
Yeah, of course.
Eddie
Okay, Maybe that's what I thought was woman.
Don Toliver
But I mean, you're. I mean.
Eddie
Yeah, okay.
Don Toliver
Just trying to be generic, man.
Eddie
No, you're. My bad on that one. I think you can acknowledge it without investing in it. You know, there's something. And the general rule, the family is. Yeah, that was crazy. And then you just move on to something without. Because if you throw a stop sign on it, a purposeful stop, all that's going to do is motivate them to keep pushing. So you've got to just have a disinterest, not a disagreement.
Amy
I like that. That's crazy, right? Or. Yeah, how about that?
Eddie
That's great. I never saw that.
Amy
Oh, wow.
Eddie
You know, I predicted. I said on the show. Anyway. So cowboys, huh? They're terribly pivot. Right. It's not a disagreement. It's a disinterest. A warm disinterest and a pivot.
Amy
Yeah, pivot To.
Don Toliver
Or like a dish they made. Man, this turkey's, like, really good that you made.
Eddie
You look great.
Don Toliver
Yeah. That suit you're wearing.
Eddie
How about that?
Amy
Or what about transgender high school athletes?
Eddie
Probably wouldn't do that. That'd be political.
Amy
Just kidding. I'm just saying that could be a popular topic because it's in the news.
Eddie
It could be, but I would say that's political because that is something they are making political.
Don Toliver
Do you guys do the what are you thankful for around the table?
Eddie
No, I'm new to the family. Thanksgiving, I think. Yes, I think we have.
Amy
I'm sure you do.
Eddie
Yeah, I think based on something like that.
Don Toliver
That's fun, dude. That's fun doing that.
Eddie
It feels like we do. Or maybe it's. Yeah, I think so. We're going to Fayetteville tomorrow after we finish the show. Grace, Caitlin's sister, had a baby. Second baby. It's the greatest thing ever happened to me. That second baby.
Amy
Yeah.
Eddie
Because. Because they don't. They. There's. They have a second baby newborn. So they're not leaving. But luckily, Caitlin's family and Caitlin grew up an hour and 15 minutes from Fayetteville in Oklahoma. So everybody's meeting in Fayetteville.
Amy
Is there a game?
Eddie
Football's. Oh, yeah. But it's in Missouri.
Don Toliver
Oh, okay.
Amy
That'd be real lucky.
Eddie
Yeah. I mean, could still go, but it doesn't matter. We're not. We're not any good. But it's. It's nice that it's. It's Caitlyn's like, it's. This is hilarious. I said, what? She goes. The fact that we're doing. Because in joking, in passing, I've said, hey, you're lucky all my family's dead. We just go to your stuff all the time. There's no.
Don Toliver
Because it could be drama in marriages.
Eddie
Yeah. Or it's at least a division.
Don Toliver
Sure.
Eddie
Like, you divide here. You divide here. So someone's always a little bit unhappy. If you don't get to see your family at Christmas and you've always seen them at Christmas, I can see definitely where that would be the case. But I'm like, how about you? Look at you. You talk about all the ways that, like, I'm messed up from being older and getting married and being on. But look at you. No splitting of the families. Everything's with yours. And so she's like, look at this. It's always my family. But we're doing in Fayetteville. How lucky are you? Because DJ works for the University of Arkansas. As a coach, that's pretty cool. Don't mind if I do my go work out up at the facilities.
Don Toliver
That'd be awesome, dude.
Eddie
Don't go to the basketball court. Don't mind if I do go get some shots out, you know, so. Yeah, man.
Don Toliver
We used to eat lunch in San Antonio and then drive to Dallas and do dinner.
Amy
Oh, my gosh.
Don Toliver
Early. Early in the marriage.
Eddie
Wait a minute.
Amy
Oh, you mean as a married person.
Eddie
Wait, like, our first two years of being married. What time was lunch?
Don Toliver
Early 11. We were done by 1, and then we get to Dallas, eat by like, 7.
Eddie
So you drove the whole time just basically.
Amy
Oh, bonkers.
Eddie
For what, four and a half hours?
Don Toliver
Yeah, four hours.
Amy
When y'all stop that? Like, after year.
Eddie
Two.
Amy
After. Yeah, two.
Don Toliver
Like, no more.
Amy
This is not.
Eddie
How do you split it up now?
Don Toliver
We don't. We do, like, Thanksgiving here in Nashville, so nobody, like. We don't do anything.
Eddie
You don't split it off, Everybody else just gets nothing.
Don Toliver
Yeah, I mean, if family wants to come have.
Eddie
Dude, that's awesome.
Don Toliver
Dinner with us, they can. But then Christmases, we go down to Texas and split them. So one family, they have more time.
Eddie
Okay, well, then you do split it.
Don Toliver
Yeah, but one family gets Christmas Day, like, the actual day.
Eddie
Now we're talking.
Don Toliver
And the other one gets, like, a couple days later.
Eddie
Yeah, okay, that's what I meant.
Don Toliver
Yeah.
Amy
How do y'all decide?
Don Toliver
We alternate those.
Amy
Okay. That's smart. That's like a. That's like a divorced family couple.
Don Toliver
Do what you gotta do.
Eddie
What are you guys doing for Thanksgiving?
Amy
Well, so I had my kids last Thanksgiving, so that means that they're with Ben. This Thanksgiving bells will be ringing, so that means I had them or I didn't.
Eddie
Sad Christmas music already starting up Amy's?
Amy
Well, no, but I will.
Eddie
No, that's Bon Jovi, dude. Is it?
Amy
I will. John Bon Jovi Christmas.
Eddie
Yeah. Yeah, but I'm saying, since you'll be alone, you'll be playing sad Christmas music on Thanksgiving Day.
Amy
Yeah, I cried last night a little bit, but I don't even know why. Little things just set me off. Like last year, that's what happened to me at Christmas. I wasn't sad. Like, I was. Okay. Because, I mean, I know it's coming, but then I just drove past this place that had, like, wreaths out and trees, and, I don't know, I just started crying. And it was like, four days before Christmas because I think it hit me, like, oh, I'm not going to, like, my whole life Just doesn't look like what I thought. All the layers, so you never know, like, what's going to trigger it. And last night, I don't know really what it was, but it was about just Thanksgiving. But then once you get it out, you're okay.
Eddie
But for you, like, for. It could be all the layers, though, right? I mean, your mom died, your dad died, your kids are not with you this time.
Amy
I mean, it's my. Yeah, it's not. I never thought I'd Not I'd go get a good divorce. That. It's like a reminder to. Oh, yeah. But that's okay. There's.
Eddie
I mean, yeah, it's okay.
Amy
It's just part of it. Is your sister coming for Thanksgiving or no. Nope.
Don Toliver
Do you want to come?
Eddie
So you're just by yourself? Somebody else's.
Amy
So, like, it was crazy. I used to be, like, the house where I'd be like, everybody come to our house. We're hosting. Like, Bobby has nothing to do. No, I have. I have.
Eddie
Why did you get. Why did I catch a stray there?
Amy
Why did I catch you before you were with Caitlin?
Eddie
Why did I catch you straight there? My d. Now you literally just told the story. I caught a straight.
Amy
Morgan and Abby have come over to my house for Thanksgiving.
Eddie
You could have said them initially, too.
Amy
I know about.
Eddie
She's like, I would do it, and people that were losers would come over. Bobby was loser.
Amy
I didn't say losers.
Eddie
You said Bobby was alone.
Amy
No. And I'm alone now. I'm the one that gets invited. I understand now how you feel. And then it's, I. Bobby, look at me. Oh, look at me.
Eddie
I come straight on that one.
Amy
It feels like it's nice that people will ask, because then it's like, okay.
Don Toliver
Do you want to come to our house?
Amy
Thank you, guys. I appreciate the invite. Y'all know how it is.
Don Toliver
Well, I'm the only one inviting. Do you want to come?
Amy
He's in Fayetteville. Where are you, Lunchbox?
Eddie
I'm right here. You can come over if you want.
Amy
You're doing something. Are you not going to Texas?
Eddie
No, I'm just gonna eat turkey in my house.
Don Toliver
Oh, well, that sounds fun.
Eddie
It sounds like he.
Amy
That's what he.
Eddie
He's like, you can come. But he makes it as least appealing as possible.
Don Toliver
I mean, we're gonna have cold cuts.
Eddie
I'm just gonna eat some turkey, and then we're probably gonna fart. And you're like, well, you invited me, but you made it.
Amy
Yeah.
Eddie
The least desirable you possibly Could. Yeah.
Don Toliver
Amy, you don't wanna come to our house. It's boring, too.
Eddie
I mean, did you hear Eddie's. He just said. I said, you wanna come over? It's the same thing, same invite.
Amy
I don't think you said you'd come over. Or you could come. What'd you say?
Eddie
I said, I'll be here. Yeah, we're eating turkey at my house. I'll be here. It's not. You can come over if you want.
Amy
I don't know.
Eddie
But yes, it doesn't matter. I understand what you're saying. I always felt like a loser because I never wanted to bother people, as you just said I was a loser.
Amy
But I did not say you were a loser. I used you as an example because that's. You've you for the many, many, many, many years. Well, why?
Eddie
Got many, many, many, many. Just say for a lot of years.
Don Toliver
Amy, just.
Eddie
Yeah, just tell me why you got. We do know that that's why you do three minis. Just say many years.
Don Toliver
Long, long, long, long, long, long, long time. Long, long time.
Eddie
Morgan, you going to Kansas?
Morgan
No, my family's here.
Don Toliver
Oh.
Eddie
They came down here, like, before the holiday. Not moved here.
Amy
Invite her over.
Morgan
No, I was about to, but you guys. You guys were having. So I wasn't going too.
Don Toliver
She's like, there's a lot of people.
Morgan
I really should come for.
Eddie
Many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many years. I was a loser.
Morgan
I didn't jump in because there was a lot of strays being thrown, as you say. So I avoided that one. But you're more than welcome to come join my family. We're gonna go on a hike, and we're gonna eat some Thanksgiving food.
Amy
Ooh, thank you.
Morgan
Right up your alley.
Amy
It's right up my alley.
Morgan
Yeah. But, yeah, they're in town. The dog that I rescued is here on the road.
Amy
Oh, yeah, they brought him.
Eddie
Oh, wait, the one that we. You tried to get adopted and then your parents ended up adopting him?
Morgan
Yes. Yeah. That I had found, like, dodging traffic.
Don Toliver
Yeah.
Morgan
And she remembered me, and it was really exciting.
Amy
It was sweet.
Eddie
She remembered you.
Morgan
Yeah, it was super cute.
Don Toliver
Are you sure?
Morgan
No, I promise. Her whole body was whacked. Like, she did not know how to contain herself. It was the cutest thing.
Eddie
You ever see those videos, like, where these people have, like, raised tigers and they send them out in the jungle and they show up, like, 20 years later and they're like, there's the tiger I raised, and all of a sudden the tiger runs up to them and hugs them.
Don Toliver
Or monkeys. I've seen that with monkeys.
Eddie
What the heck?
Don Toliver
So cool, man.
Eddie
Wild.
Don Toliver
Gosh, I want a monkey.
Eddie
I wonder if we just don't get seen the ones with the tiger malls them.
Amy
Exactly. That's what I'm thinking.
Don Toliver
They're like, delete it, delete it, delete it.
Eddie
And the guy's like, I've been waiting 20 years to come back and see this tiger. I raised it from the womb. It did not know his mother. And for years. And here's some. And here's me bottle feeding it. And it's a picture of me bottle feeding it. And it was so. And this is me crying. Released it back out into the jungle and now waited 21 years and finally we have located the tiger in there. Dead.
Amy
Kill some, right?
Eddie
That would suck.
Don Toliver
Yeah, but we'd still watch it.
Eddie
I don't think they would show it. Yeah, I don't know what accent it was though either.
Morgan
I feel like it was Australian a little bit, maybe.
Don Toliver
Yeah, I heard Australian feeling.
Amy
Yeah. I was kind of like a wild kangaroo. Very steep.
Eddie
It feels like a crockpot of a bunch of accents that I kind of heard do those kind of things. It was good, though. Thank you. Thank you. Let's do a little midroll here. I take a break. Okay, so the most attractive person in country music is. And they have. They asked people in country music to see what they would say. Riley Green and Sam Hunt both said Carrie Underwood. It's different to ask guys than it is to ask girls because we easily could come on and be like, this is the best looking guy. You are the champion. We give you a belt. We can't really do that for women.
Don Toliver
Because it'll hurt someone's feelings.
Eddie
I think it's just a different culture of scrutinization because I mean, we could, we just couldn't come on and Be like, here's our top five hottest women in country music without. You know, we'd be getting kicked in the balls for that.
Don Toliver
Yeah.
Eddie
But if we did, guys, oh, yeah, I'd ride that pony, you know? So, yeah, it's different because we used to do that kind of stuff back in the 20s when times were good when doctors told us what cigarettes to smoke. But yeah, let's see. Luke Combs said that he was the most attractive. Obviously he had some funny stuff because he was listed as like the most attractive 34 year old or whatever because People magazine does every year. And he was like, oh, I thought that was less like most hamburgers eating or something. It was funny.
Don Toliver
That is funny.
Eddie
It's a funny comeback from Luke. Yeah. Priscilla Block said Laney Wilson was the hottest. Bailey Zimmerman said Riley Green, Ella Langley or Megan Maroney. Dasha said zach top. Ashley McBride. Blur to that. T.J. osborne. Am I irritated, Dasher, or no? You tell me why. You tell me. She canceled on us. We waited forever. We set up the interview. It was the day of. And it was the day after seeing Ma's. It's like I lost my voice. Really. You probably party too hard or you just were tired, didn't want to come. That's what my mind tells me. But it's also the day after the CMAs.
Amy
She could have also lost her voice because if she was doing a lot of interviews and stuff, CMA week, like Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, there's lots of things.
Eddie
I watched her do an interview the night of the show, and it's fine. And also don't set up an interview the day after the CMAs if, like, you're going to go. Or on Tuesday if you get sick. I don't know. It doesn't feel good, does it? It feels like she's just like, screw it, I don't want to do it anymore. And that's fine. You have every right to do that. But yeah, I think I don't. I think I'm. I don't. Whatever.
Scuba Steve
It's worth. The label called me. They're like, can you please make sure Bobby's not mad about this whole thing?
Eddie
You know why they probably thought that? Because that she probably wasn't telling the truth.
Scuba Steve
Yeah, that. Or there. Or she maybe was telling the truth and thinking that maybe we won't believe her because of all the evidence. Thinking that it could be that she's not really sick.
Eddie
If I were sick, this is just me. And I could be totally wrong. I want to say this. I could be totally Wrong. If I were sick, I wouldn't worry about what people thought because I would really be sick.
Scuba Steve
Exactly.
Eddie
It's like whenever you're lying, you do the most. Like until you over tell. Oh, God. Oh, God. Like if I'm really sick or like the other day when I had to leave whenever Amy had to cover and interview Blake. Great job, Amy. We had a St. Jude patient that came in last. Great job. I. It wasn't like I had no explanation. I didn't need an explanation. Guys, I feel really bad about to poop my pants or throw up or something. I'm out. I feel need to call. I was just like, man, everybody knows I'm sick. I don't know. I didn't get a good feeling about it. You lose your voice, it's good.
Scuba Steve
But what's that?
Eddie
When a label called, did you really like, you guys are full of crap.
Scuba Steve
Well, they called me when I was at my kids doctor appointment and I was like, I don't. I'm sure. Whatever. I wasn't really in the mind space for it, but it. But it seemed like the person I was talking to was telling the truth. But again, also could be covering something. I think maybe you give her one more shot.
Eddie
No, I'm done.
Scuba Steve
Okay, well then never mind.
Eddie
I'm out.
Scuba Steve
Okay, bye.
Eddie
To be fair, we rescheduled already once.
Scuba Steve
Okay, well then maybe it is her then. If she's. If she rescheduled multiple times already.
Eddie
Yeah, I don't know. I. I just. The day after, the CMA feels a little suspicious. So I went back and do. I was doing some recon. I was looking at stuff like CMA red carpet to see if. Let's see how her voice is.
Scuba Steve
Was she performing on the Bobby cast?
Eddie
No, nobody performs on the Bobby cast.
Scuba Steve
Exactly. That's my point.
Eddie
Oh, got her.
Don Toliver
Set up.
Eddie
Come on.
Scuba Steve
Be like, hey, dude, I had a really rough night last time.
Eddie
I'm hungover. I'm so hungover.
Scuba Steve
Yeah.
Eddie
And. Or if that may not be the case, but I'm saying I would rather be told I'm so hungover and I'm happy to come do it. But you're. I'm not feeling. You're like, I'm not gonna be able to give you a good interview. And we'd be like, that's. That's for real. That's legit and cool. Or let's. Let's figure out another time because we have to reschedule stuff too. Yeah, we've done it before. Yeah. So I don't know. I Haven't even thought about her since that. I told. This is on me. I told Mike, because usually we try to reschedule again. I was like, don't reschedule it. I was like, I'm out. And they did hit me with a line that I don't like. Oh, what's the line? I don't know. What? I'm ready to get mad.
Amy
Wait, hold on. Mike D has something.
Eddie
This is where I got. I got flashback from another time. I'm primed. Go ahead. Hey. To new music. They say new music. They said, we'll look at a time next year with new music. No, we won't. You won't come in anywhere. And I don't think that's something you say if you're like. If you're sick. Yeah. Hey, maybe she's good in a few days when her voice comes back. Let's try to find a time soon. Yeah. Yeah. I'm Petty.
Amy
So where does she live?
Eddie
Who knows? But call me Tom. Tom Petty. Oh, yeah, the new music thing. Because that's what BK did. After we freaking set a side. A whole afternoon after, he's like, I need to come on because Tyler Hubbard talked crap. And I'm gonna come and tell him why I hate Tyler Hubbard, Florida, Georgia Line, guys. And I'm like, all right. I really don't want to be in the middle of this. I kind of don't like both of you. And it was like. And then tell her now we're fine. We're semi cool after that. But I was never a fan of them because they went after me. And so then BK was like, never mind. Wait till I get new music out. I'm like, no, we won't do that. I would never disrespect someone like that, though. I guess I just put my feelings of what I would do into other people's brains. And I probably shouldn't do that, but I would be like, I messed up. I went too hard last night. I can still come do it. My voice is not going to be good. If you want to reschedule, great. Or I can just suck it up and come. And they'd probably go, don't worry about it. And also, I could be wrong about all this, but I don't think so.
Amy
Because also, it's the holidays now.
Eddie
Why are you making so many excuses?
Amy
I don't know. I'm trying to figure out, what's the.
Eddie
Holidays have to do with anything. It's CMA Week. Everybody was doing everything all week.
Amy
I know, but then if she reschedules to this week, it's like this week. Because.
Eddie
Okay, look, but she wasn't trying to reschedule this week.
Amy
I know, but what I'm saying is they probably looked at the calendar and they're like, okay, if she's not. She doesn't have a voice now.
Eddie
She said new music. They said reschedule.
Amy
She does new music next year. Circle back.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah, but Amy, why wouldn't what they're saying. Why are you. Why wouldn't she reschedule just like in a couple weeks.
Amy
She have said after the holidays.
Eddie
Yeah, or even. Or even. We can zoom it. We do interviews on friggin Zoom. As long as you had a good Internet connection. Doesn't matter. Or you just offer it. You just tell the truth. Also, I don't even know that she was lying. Say again. But it probably. If our betting. If DraftKings had the odds about minus 210. She was. Oh, I just went out, didn't want to do it anymore.
Don Toliver
It's a pretty good favor.
Eddie
And that's fine. I'm. That there are things I don't want to do that I'm like, I don't want to do anymore, but that's fine. But yeah, I didn't believe it. Did you believe it neither Scuba. Did you believe it?
Scuba Steve
I did. Until you did the new music thing. Because I've been. I've had that same problem in the past where they go, well, wait till new music. I'm like, so you have an agenda. It's not about getting the artist on. It's about promo or whatever that may be. So.
Don Toliver
We got suspended from Tick Tock again.
Eddie
Why?
Scuba Steve
Talking crap about Dash.
Morgan
I don't know.
Amy
We didn't even play. There's no. There's not even a music.
Don Toliver
Do you want me to appeal it? Appeal it.
Scuba Steve
Appeal it.
Don Toliver
Send it to appellate court.
Amy
Well, Morgan, don't say that.
Morgan
They do though.
Eddie
What happens.
Amy
She just said China hates us.
Don Toliver
Okay, so what they do though.
Eddie
But even not regarding this, they still hate us.
Don Toliver
What do you want me to say here? Do you want me to. What's.
Eddie
There's obviously something come across. Our feed just has. We have nothing to do with that. Is triggering something. It could be camera shot. It could be moving. Who knows. But there's something in the structure of what we're putting out there that is not agreeing with what Tik Tok does.
Don Toliver
The reason. The reason for the appeal. Do I do? Do I do? The reason my live does not contain the content mentioned in the Notice?
Eddie
I don't know what you just said.
Don Toliver
Like, is that. That's my appeal.
Morgan
The notice. What did the it say we did?
Don Toliver
It didn't say.
Morgan
Well, then how.
Eddie
How are we supposed to know how to get better if we don't know we did wrong?
Don Toliver
I don't know. I'm just. I'm gonna click them all.
Morgan
They hate us.
Scuba Steve
It's in Mandarin.
Morgan
I did send out an email, though. I'll see if I can get a hold.
Eddie
That'll show them.
Morgan
Hey, no, I mean, like to make a contact.
Don Toliver
Appeal. Appeal submitted. We're appealing, baby.
Eddie
What'd they say?
Don Toliver
Nothing. Nothing yet.
Eddie
Don't you think too. They just go, nah, they don't even look at it.
Morgan
I do think they do that sometimes.
Don Toliver
Hmm.
Eddie
But what we couldn't have done, we didn't say anything.
Morgan
And there's no music playing. That was our suspicion. Last time was the music bed underneath. And there's no music playing unless it's.
Don Toliver
There's a post show. That thing could raise intro be copyrighted.
Morgan
It has music to. It doesn't.
Don Toliver
Ray copyrighted it.
Eddie
Ray's getting us kicked off every time. That's. That's dirty dog. Human washing machines coming to 2025. Company's working on a human washing machine that blasts you clean with tiny bubbles. Reminds me people when they go to prison, they put their hands on the walls and they. It looks like the cockpit of a fighter jet and fills with water. Then it dries you off. The process takes 15 minutes.
Amy
What? That's way too long.
Don Toliver
Yeah, 15 is to wait.
Eddie
Yeah, it must scrub you real good.
Morgan
Hey, by the way, Jake Owens on our live chat on Instagram, and he said, I'm here, I'll come in. Who cares?
Amy
What about he'll come in?
Morgan
You talking about the dash of stuff. Oh, and he said, I'm here, I'll come in. Who cares?
Eddie
Yes, he would come in, and if he wasn't feeling good, he would say, yo, dude, I went too hard last night. You told me to come in. And I would be like, yeah, suck it up, buttercup. And you come in, but I don't know where. So it's hard for me. But it just felt. It just felt kind of sus. The whole thing felt sus. The rudest things you can do at Thanksgiving dinner. Number one, using your phone, especially if it's not your house, if you're on your phone at the table. I plan to be on the phone.
Amy
Like, not at the table.
Don Toliver
Why not?
Eddie
I mean, a little bit why not?
Amy
It's all close people like, facing up.
Eddie
Maybe not the whole time you're not, But I've been a little bit. I'll check it a little bit. Bringing uninvited guests. That's funny. We just show up. Who does that?
Don Toliver
Yeah, who does that?
Eddie
Show up with somebody Criticizing the food again. Who are you?
Don Toliver
This turkey's terrible.
Eddie
You don't even go here. Why are you criticizing the food? Showing up late, Salting the food before you at least taste it. So this is what I would say about that. I would say it's the opposite.
Don Toliver
Yes, I'm with you. Yes.
Eddie
Yeah. So if you salt the food before you taste it, that just means you do that regardless. It's habitual.
Don Toliver
Correct.
Eddie
You just look at food and you salt it.
Don Toliver
But if you taste it, you're like.
Eddie
And then you salt it. That's more insulting.
Don Toliver
I agree.
Eddie
If you want to be a really good guest, arrive with a small gift for the host. Offer to help, but make sure you let them lead. Keep conversations light and no politics. Hey, no politics.
Don Toliver
I want to add one too. Like, if you're going to take like a bottle of wine or something and it doesn't get used, leave it. Yeah, don't take it with you.
Eddie
Interesting. I don't take wine, so I don't.
Don Toliver
Know, but anything like, say, like, say.
Eddie
You bring a pie.
Don Toliver
Leave it.
Amy
Unless the host is like, please, please, please take it. We do not need this. Please take it. Gift it to somebody else. Like, there needs to be multiple. Like, please, please take it.
Eddie
Interesting.
Amy
Yeah.
Eddie
Whenever Amy had one of her meals that I was such a loser. If you missed early listened earlier. I was. And many, many, many times. I showed up way early one time.
Don Toliver
Did you help?
Amy
No, I just sat at the bar.
Eddie
Yeah, they were like, beer. What? I don't know what time. Noon. So I got there like 11:52 or something. Thank you.
Amy
I was earlier in the.
Eddie
I don't want to be late, so I. Don't be disrespectful. So I get there and Amy's, like, still in her pajamas, and I'm like, I'm cookie.
Amy
I was doing things. I hadn't even put my clothes. Like, I was. You know, that's what happens when you're hosting. There's lots going on. So I hadn't put my clothes on yet because why would I. No. Guests were arriving for at least 30 minutes or longer.
Don Toliver
Why don't you do the usual? Sit in the car for two hours and wait.
Amy
Why not? I mean, because he's come in and hang Out. Yeah.
Eddie
And also, it was only, like, I felt like 15 minutes early. I thought everybody got there 50 minutes early.
Amy
It wasn't more than that.
Eddie
Maybe I was on Eastern time zone. Okay, guys, give me a break.
Don Toliver
Are you going to help in the kitchen this time around?
Eddie
I don't think so.
Don Toliver
Didn't you, one year, didn't you cut sweet potatoes or something?
Amy
No, he.
Don Toliver
Oh, he acted on Instagram. That's what happened.
Amy
He cut them for the video.
Eddie
Everybody's wrong. Everybody's wrong. Everybody's wrong. You admitted take your holes, clog them with something, because you're all wrong. Because what happens was I will cut sweet potatoes. I'll cut. I'll do whatever little side sous chef job I'm asked to do. I won't be happy about it, but I won't be mean about it. And I'm like. But then I do a good job, and then I take a long time doing it, so I don't get asked to do anything else, but I will do it. I also. I'm not too good to take a picture of me doing something I didn't even do. But that's usually not Thanksgiving. That's, like, at home.
Amy
That's like my grocery shopping.
Eddie
Like, when my wife's cooking. Yeah. Or that my wife's cooking and she's done, like, a great job, cooked this nice meal, and then I take a selfie over the stove, and I'm like, look at this. Look at I. That I'm not too good to do, but I will do.
Don Toliver
Okay.
Eddie
And then finally, Thanksgiving foods to keep away from your pets. Turkey bones. That's a quick vet visit. If it swallow. If they swallow it wrong.
Scuba Steve
Yeah.
Don Toliver
Because it breaks in their stomach.
Eddie
Desserts, because all the ingredients, like xylitol, which is sugar substitute, highly toxic to pets. Cranberry sauce. They say casseroles, but that could be. Casserole Is anything.
Don Toliver
Yeah.
Eddie
Like, what's a. I think my dog would like casserole. I'll be honest with you. Plain cooked turkey with no spices is fine from wfla. All right. Thank you.
Amy
Plain cooked turkey with no spices.
Don Toliver
Yeah. Who's doing that?
Eddie
You guys are being what we talked about earlier. Don't insult the food. You didn't make it. You're making fun of food.
Amy
No, but I mean, like, who doesn't.
Eddie
Want some salt, too? To put on it.
Amy
Season their turkey.
Don Toliver
You have to.
Eddie
You could actually, when you. Once you cook it, you could cut a little slice of it off before you season it.
Amy
Yeah, but you stuff it and season. You put all this stuff in it when you bake it.
Eddie
I'm reading you the story and that's how you did it. You shouldn't judge other people for how they do me.
Amy
I've never even made a turkey.
Don Toliver
Well, who made the turkey when you.
Amy
Used to host my sister or my mom or my dad or whatever adult that was more adult than me.
Eddie
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.
Don Toliver
Happy Thanksgiving.
Eddie
Happy Thanksgiving.
Morgan
Happy Thanksgiving.
Amy
Thanksgiving.
Eddie
All right, that's a wrap, Rhapsody. Thank you. And we'll see you guys later. Bye.
Amy
