Here we go. Come on, Bobby Bones transmitting across America. Turn it up. This is the Bobby Bol Show. What's up, everybody?
Eddie
Welcome to Wednesday show morning Studio Morning.
Amy
Let's get to it. We talked about on the show last week. We had a call about it yesterday. This was the voicemail we played. I was listening to the podcast today, and you guys were talking about Amy was late at some point, and it wasn't when she got locked in her room. A caller called in a few months ago that said something about it really drives her crazy when you guys start to say something, but you don't finish it. This was kind of one of those moments where we all now want to know. So just saying, I hope we get to find out tomorrow. Love the show. Tomorrow is now today. And that was never meant to be a segment. And then it turns out Amy didn't know. And the whole thing was nobody in the show has been late to anything in years. It's our culture. You respect everybody, so you get everywhere on time because everybody else got there on time. And I said, the only person that's ever been late in the last whatever amount of years is Amy. And she's like, I don't think I have. So Lunchbox knew immediately. I knew, obviously. What do you think it is?
Bobby Bones
Well, yeah. You knew you'd been holding onto it, didn't you?
Amy
No, I've been holding. I didn't think about it a second time. I've already let it go. You.
Bobby Bones
That's not what you said. You said it definitely took me a while to piece it all together. And I was like, oh, my gosh, yes, the Home Run Derby. And listeners probably would have seen that on the live, because I think at one point you go, well, Amy's finally here.
Amy
True.
Bobby Bones
And. But see, what threw me off is you're like, she didn't even. She had an excuse, and it wasn't even good. I never gave an excuse.
Amy
I know the excuse, though, because my wife was talking to you on the phone, and you were like, I just kept driving.
Bobby Bones
She gave an excuse, and it wasn't good because I never gave one. Yes. I was on the phone with your wife, and I got a little sidetracked because I saw that I was gonna be driving by your house.
Amy
But you weren't driving by your house. That's not the way there.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but on my map, I thought it was.
Amy
No, but that's not an excuse.
Bobby Bones
And then I got excited to see if she could hear me honk from the road, and I go, honk, honk what?
Amy
And I was like, are you.
Morgan
That's why you were late. That's why you were late.
Bobby Bones
Ask her. And she was like, I didn't hear that. I'm like, you didn't hear that? That's crazy. So.
Amy
But that wasn't even the way to the field.
Bobby Bones
It was, though.
Amy
No, it literally wasn't.
Bobby Bones
Then I looked at the map, and I'm like, oh, shoot. I was supposed to turn before your house, not after your house, But I was on your road, but I had to turn before, not after. But I got a little excited about figuring out she could hear me honk again. So then I turn around and have to loop all the way back around and then turn past your house the other way. So I got to drive by again and honk again.
Morgan
Oh, my gosh.
Bobby Bones
She didn't hear that time either.
Amy
I didn't know about the honking thing that morning when I got back, she was like, how'd it go? I said, good, except Amy was late. She was. It's the first time anybody's been late for years. I said. I didn't say anything because whatever. And she was like, she was. I talked to her this morning. She was right on time. I was on the. I was like, she had your back because she was like. She was on time. I was talking to her. I didn't know you were trying to drive by our house and honk so she could hear you.
Morgan
You just made it more mad.
Amy
That's, like, not even a real thing, Kevin.
Bobby Bones
I didn't think I was gonna be late. Still, at that point, my Map still. Listen, I. My map showed me I was gonna be there on time. Then when I accidentally had to detour past your house twice.
Amy
It wasn't accidental. You just didn't follow the map.
Bobby Bones
No, no. You have to. No. When? I can't multitask, okay? So I can't look at a map and talk on the phone and then get excited about whether or not she can hear me honk.
Amy
So then why is that exciting, though?
Bobby Bones
I don't know. It's just like an experiment. And then I go, and then I miss the field again, and I end up in some church, and I call Scuba, and I. I'm here. It says I'm here, but I don't see y' all. And he's like, keep driving around. Keep driving around. Then, sure enough, there y' all are with a bunch of kids.
Lunchbox
There were no with the kids.
Amy
There were no kids with us.
Morgan
Don't try to paint us in a bad light.
Amy
They were at the school next to the field then.
Bobby Bones
But that's when I was like, how did I miss?
Amy
You were, like, 15 minutes late.
Bobby Bones
I wasn't 15 minutes late. We'd already started 100%. Was not 15 minutes. Like, there's no way. That would be impossible, because then that would mean I would have never been on time. All I did was detour slightly to Hong Kong, and I didn't even. That wasn't even on purpose. That's because I thought I was like, oh, my gosh, I'm going to be driving right by your house. That's crazy. And then I was like, oh, whoops. I was supposed to turn before your house.
Morgan
Okay, but now that you know the excuse. Is this a good excuse?
Amy
It is not.
Eddie
It is not.
Bobby Bones
But don't increase the time. It was not 15 minutes.
Lunchbox
I mean, it wasn't two minutes.
Bobby Bones
It was, like, maybe six.
Morgan
No. I don't know.
Amy
We started a few minutes late to begin with, and then.
Bobby Bones
Well, I'll check my call log to see when I called to speak with Steve, because I called to say I'm here, and I don't see y' all.
Amy
But that doesn't count when you got there.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I understand that.
Amy
I literally let it go. I'm not the one that's so rui. This is me getting it in my.
Morgan
Beep, beep. Did hear that Honk.
Bobby Bones
It definitely wasn't intentional. It was just, like, a weird morning.
Amy
When I feel the inside my brain.
Lunchbox
And the fact that she went back to honk again.
Bobby Bones
I didn't go back. I had To. Because I had to turn around.
Amy
But what's the ultimate payoff? Let's just remove the late thing, because who cares? Who cares?
Bobby Bones
Who cares? We care. I don't like to be late.
Amy
Like, I thought of the late thing. What's the. What's the greatest possible scenario of her hearing you honk when you drive by? Well, like, what's the win there?
Bobby Bones
No, but she says you're missing the point. You're thinking I drove by your house for that? I did.
Amy
Because the map didn't go there.
Bobby Bones
But I thought it did. But the turn was before. But because I wasn't looking down at that mile before.
Eddie
Yeah, way before.
Lunchbox
Yeah, Amy.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Lunchbox
I drive it every day.
Bobby Bones
Okay, so when I was at the. I'm not gonna say roads, because I'm not trying to give away where you live, but when I was at a light, that's when I saw, I'm gonna be driving by your house. So then I just never looked at the map again.
Amy
Well, you're on the island. The last light. Person's always on the island. Named.
Bobby Bones
Okay, well, it was. Yeah.
Amy
This is me letting it go. I'm not the one that's. So far.
Bobby Bones
I fully prepared, like, to be there on time. So that's why it was ridiculous that I was late. And then when I walked up, I was like, he might send me home. Like, he might, really might. And then you didn't. And I was like, maybe he didn't know. You did know because you go, amy's finally here.
Morgan
Well, why didn't you honk when you showed up so we could see if we could hear you?
Amy
Hey, go. Go out now and honk in that parking garage and say, we hear you now. That'd be cool.
Bobby Bones
Stop. You're. No, I just really think I. Who knew that, like, bushes could block a hulk? Because I feel like it's quite the experiment.
Amy
Okay, so we're done. Everybody good, I guess. Okay. Thank you, Bones.
Morgan
The anonymous inbox.
Amy
Anonymous inbox. There's a question to be.
Morgan
Hello, Bobby.
Amy
Bones. My husband recently got motivated to get into shape. He's now down 60 pounds and feeling more confident than ever. The problem is I miss his dad bod. Not only that, he spends more time now going to the gym and meal prepping than with me and the kids. And so we don't see him as much in the evenings. It's great that he's healthy, but his plan is to keep losing weight and gaining muscle, and I'm worried I will start to find him less attractive. Can I Tell him I miss his body the way it was without ruining his newfound confidence. Signed, lover of dad bods. Here's the answer. You do not find his body less attractive.
Lunchbox
Yeah, you don't know that she doesn't.
Amy
She finds the fact that he's not around as much less attractive because she mentions that as like a side, but that's the truth there, that he spends more time at the gym and not with the kids. So it's either A, that she doesn't like that he's not around as much, or B, she is losing confidence in herself because he is looking. We'll say good, I don't know what he looks like, but we'll just use the word good. So I don't think it's about his body because I think you're going to love him regardless. And the whole I just like a dad bod better. That's never true. So this is either A, you want to home more, and I think that's a conversation of can you go at times that doesn't affect our family time together, or B, you can express your insecurities, and if you're insecure about them, you can also do little things to feel more secure. It is not the main symptom of him just looking hotter. You could be insecure that people are going to want him more. There could be some insecurity there. So it's not that you miss his dad bod because you wouldn't have mentioned the other stuff. The other stuff wouldn't have mentioned the article. It would just been, I miss how soft and unhealthy and the fact that he's probably going to die a little earlier.
Lunchbox
Well, she wouldn't say all that.
Amy
I know, exactly. But that would be what it is if that's what this email was. It was, I really just miss how he looks when he's 60 pounds heavier than he is now. But there's probably something about him that. And I can understand if for some reason, like, Eddie started to be super in shape and, like, started to cut up and like. And everybody's like, well, I like how hot Eddie is all the time. I think I. You're not my husband. But I think that would feel like, oh, man, Eddie's getting like.
Lunchbox
And then you want me to get my dad bod back?
Amy
I'd start to, like, sneak you, like, some butter.
Eddie
Butter.
Amy
Some buttery treats.
Lunchbox
I'm telling you, my wife has told me that she misses my dad bod.
Amy
No, she misses you around and she misses you not.
Bobby Bones
Wait, hold on. Is Eddie implying he still doesn't have one?
Amy
Oh, that's rude.
Lunchbox
I work hard to get rid of my dad body.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I thought you thought. I thought you thought you still had one, too.
Lunchbox
Well, I. Look, I. I think dad bods are. Yeah, you're underestimating dad bods.
Amy
I'm not. I'm not.
Bobby Bones
I was only saying what you've said. So I was just. I was just clarifying.
Amy
I think your wife probably wants you home more once you. Doesn't matter. You're not. The email, Amy, your thoughts on the email?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I think change can be uncomfortable for a lot of people. So the. The reasons you listed very well could be one of those things. And she's gonna have to get used to the. To the change.
Amy
Like, the key in this is that he feels so much better about himself. Like. Like that's the most important thing.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I want that for my partner.
Amy
Yeah. And. And secondly. But it's a very close second that he is not abandoning all of his family time, because that also is very important. So it's finding the balance there because I'm telling you, you don't. When people say they find dad bods harder. No. What they find hotter is the person that has it because they're able to do more human things and spend time with them and be loving and not be at the gym all day and be focused on all those granular, daily activities that are in constant.
Lunchbox
That my wife said that, you know, like, when you lay. When she lay her head on my chest, you're like, do you want your pillow to be a rock?
Amy
Or I got pillows for you at your best. Your pillow was never a rock. It's the same. Your chest is the same.
Lunchbox
You don't want to lay down on a rock, dude.
Amy
You want to lay down. You've never been a rock. And also, a chest is almost never a fluffy pillow. Like a belly that could be a fluffy pillow. That's how I know she's lying. I think this is more than just him putting the weight back on. I think there's something for both of you. He needs to find a time to go. He's not taking so much time away from the family, and you need to figure out why that whatever trace of insecurity is creeping in is creeping in. That's what I would recommend. Thank you for the email. Close it up. If you missed our iHeartradio music festival announcement yesterday, it's going to be a big one. Our 15th annual iHeartRadio music festival, presented by Capital One in Vegas. Friday, 9 19. Is that September? September 19th. That I'm tough. It's tough. The numbers are tough on that 19th and 20th. The T mobile Arena. Brian Adams. I got my first real six string. I don't want to do them all right now because that's something later. A little later on to do. But Lil Wayne, Tim McGraw. Wow. That's all I'm gonna do. Maroon 5. I'll leave it there.
Lunchbox
So far so good.
Amy
It's gonna be massive. 48 hour Capital One pre sale begins Wednesday 611 at 10am Pacific. 6 January, March, April, May, June 11th. Okay, that's coming up next week. And then general on sale on the 13th. Tickets@axs.com all the information@iheartradio.com festival. I made a list of things that.
Eddie
Are lost on me and one includes.
Amy
Rainbows because I don't see colors like everybody else. So I'm usually not that blown away by rainbows. I don't hate them, but it's lost on me. Right. Another one is black licorice. It tastes like Robitussin in the shape of a Twizzler. I don't know a single person that I don't know. Yeah, no single person likes black licorice. Coffee in general, even expensive coffee. Because like, you're spending a lot for like bad tasting water. What's the difference in spending a little bit for bad tasting water? I know I'm wrong on these. I know, right? It's just lost on me. Don't like coffee.
Eddie
Peanut butter.
Amy
I was thinking about this even more. I hate peanut butter. Now. The weird thing is I love peanuts. I love butter. I love almond butter. I even. I tried this at home. I put a peanut in butter and ate it and it was good. I don't like peanut butter, but a peanut and butter. Just to see.
Lunchbox
That sounds good.
Amy
Yeah. Just to see. Just to see.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
No, butter has nothing to do with peanut butter. Peanuts are just smushed up anyway, like lost on me.
Amy
And everybody loves it. So I know that I'm probably missing, but it's lost on me. The Sopranos ever watch that show? I'm sure it's great. Walking. Going on a walk. Hate it. I'm sure there's something to it. Hate it. I hate going on a walk.
Eddie
I would ever go on a walk.
Amy
I either want to see.
Bobby Bones
One of the best things is going on a walk and singing a rainbow.
Lunchbox
That's pretty good.
Amy
Wow. I know you're well. So I bring this all up because I think this was Lost on Amy, but she gets it now. And I'm talking about. Oh, Chalamet. Because all of us guys were like.
Eddie
We listed the biggest superstar actors right.
Amy
Now we're all like, timothy Chalamet. And Amy's like, I don't. I don't get it.
Bobby Bones
That was lost on me.
Amy
Okay. However.
Bobby Bones
However.
Amy
Go.
Bobby Bones
I watched that Bob Dylan movie he did.
Amy
I haven't seen yet.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I thought it was really good. I mean, I was on an airplane, so I had nothing else to do. So I decided, well, I'm gonna give this little Timothy a try because the guys were raving about him. Like, I think y' all all went around the room and y' all sort of confess, like, that's like your man crush.
Amy
We never said.
Lunchbox
No one said that.
Bobby Bones
I feel like you were all obsessed with him. And I was like, what?
Amy
I think you want us to have a man. Yeah, we just.
Lunchbox
He was like a top.
Amy
We just think he's cool and talented and good looking.
Bobby Bones
We'd like to hang out with him. This is what the guys are into. I get it now. Okay, so I liked it. I don't know. He just has a vibe about him.
Amy
Exactly.
Bobby Bones
It's a vibe.
Amy
Exactly.
Bobby Bones
You can't explain it just. I don't know. It's like, what do the kids say?
Amy
Riz.
Lunchbox
Oh, he has Riz.
Bobby Bones
I get it now.
Amy
Did you watch Dune?
Bobby Bones
No, I only watched the Bob Dylan movie. Which Bob Dylan? What a butthead.
Amy
Go ahead.
Bobby Bones
Well, I mean, I guess the. I say that because the first word that came to mind was just kind of an ass.
Amy
Yeah, he said butthead. We kind of got the point of that.
Bobby Bones
I know.
Amy
What?
Lunchbox
What?
Eddie
Why?
Amy
I don't.
Bobby Bones
I don't know. It's like, early on you really liked him and you're rooting for him. And then once he got the fame, like the Unknown man or whatever, I think that's the name of the film.
Lunchbox
Complete Unknown.
Bobby Bones
Complete unknown. He. He just kind of turned into a jerk. And I don't know why he was so hurtful to those around him that were there from the beginning, like, elevating him. Am I. I get his evolution and wanting to evolve and not be so reliant on this one particular style of music. But I'm like, gosh, I haven't seen the movie.
Amy
Should I watch it? Yeah, you liked it.
Bobby Bones
I think you would really like it.
Amy
I'm not a huge Bob Dylan fan, but I understand his significance.
Bobby Bones
But you love Timothy.
Amy
I. Yeah, I watch.
Bobby Bones
Watch it. Watch it for Timothy. And then yeah, just I sort of.
Amy
Like watch Timothy stay for the music.
Bobby Bones
That's right.
Amy
Yeah. Okay, so now you get it.
Bobby Bones
I get it.
Amy
It's time for the good news with Bobby. Tell me. A couple of Michigan had their wedding anniversary and they were going to sit down, have dinner, celebrate. They also bought a scratch off and they bought it, scratched it, won $2 million on their wedding anniversary. Wow.
Morgan
Happy anniversary.
Amy
The 44 year old woman told Michigan lottery officials that the day began with the purchase of a diamonds. A gold scratch off ticket.
Morgan
Quote.
Amy
My husband and I like playing scratch offs, especially the diamonds of gold. We scratches took it off together on our wedding anniversary and my husband noticed a two million dollar prize first. See, I would have thought that was somebody playing a prank on. I would have thought it was my husband playing a prank on me if I were the wife. The winning couple said they're gonna buy a house, make investments and set some money aside for their children's college funds. Hey, happy anniversary to you guys.
Lunchbox
No kidding, That's.
Amy
I have some scratch offs in my bedroom I've been holding for like five months because there's something about them.
Lunchbox
What do you mean there's something about.
Amy
I haven't, I haven't scratched them.
Lunchbox
You have a feeling?
Amy
I do. A wise man once said, I got a feeling. I have refused to scratch them. They've been sitting at my bedside for five months.
Lunchbox
If you were to win the lottery, lunchbox would be so mad.
Morgan
So would you, Eddie.
Lunchbox
Nah, I wouldn't care. Like, like you're the one that gets so jealous. Like these people, that was their anniversary. They want to. You don't know these people. And you're like, happy anniversary.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Imagine if Bobby wins. Oh my gosh.
Amy
Oh yeah. And I. These tickets, I put a date in my calendar, hold on. February, March, April, May. It's almost five months. On the 8th, it'll be five months. They've been sitting in my bedside because I just feel something special about them. And my wife's like, why are these lottery tickets, these scratch offs sitting there? And I'm like, I don't know. Something has kept me from scratching them. Isn't that crazy? Yeah. Anyway, that's all I got for now. It's not a bit. I could walk you up to the house and show you, but that's it. Congratulations to them. That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good.

Okay. By the way, our 15th annual iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One back in Vegas, September 19th, the 20th, the T Mobile Arena. Sing me a song from Jelly Roll.
Morgan
Oh, he is. I am not okay. It's okay. I'll be okay. But it's all right not to be okay or my.
Amy
My feeling is he just knows titles, has no idea how to sing this song.
Morgan
No, no, no. Hold on, hold on.
Amy
Because you do know the title. I can't give it to.
Morgan
No. How about this one? How about this one? We only pray when we need help. We Only Speak to God when we need help. I pretty much did, like, five songs.
Lunchbox
Well, that was close.
Amy
But you knew the titles. But I don't feel like you knew any of the songs.
Morgan
Okay, maybe.
Amy
But you know what? I will give you that one because you knew so many titles. All right, one.
Morgan
That's cool.
Amy
Next up, LL Cool Jim.
Morgan
Mama said knock you out. Mama said knock you out.
Amy
I'll give you that one. Next one. Maroon 5.
Morgan
Yeah. It's a Sunday morning.
Amy
Yep.
Lunchbox
Wow.
Amy
Good.
Morgan
And another one. I don't know if it's the same song, but it's like making out in the pouring rain. Yeah.
Lunchbox
Phone booth.
Amy
No, that's a different song you're doing. Yeah. This one is Sunday Morning Dreams Are Coming.
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
No lunchbox. You're thinking of that one. She will be Loved.
Morgan
Yeah. You want to know how I know about the pouring rain? Making out?
Amy
Don't really care.
Morgan
Not well, I'm gonna tell you anyway. Okay, so I went to see Maroon 5 in San Antonio. Some chick from college wanted to go, and we had lawn seats at the amphitheater right there. And shirts, I guess, is really what it was. And it was. That song was on. It was pouring rain, and we were making out in the grass.
Amy
Boom. Tim McGraw.
Morgan
Tim McGraw. Take Jimmy Johnson. Take Tommy Thompson.
Lunchbox
Oh, and he's crying. That's good.
Morgan
Take anyone in the world as long as she don't go.
Amy
Take any boy in the world. Okay.
Morgan
Oh, oh, oh. Barbecue on that white T shirt.
Amy
You were killing me in that mini skirt, Mariah Carey.
Morgan
Ooh, Santa baby.
Amy
No, but that's not it. It's funny. Who went Christmas. That's not it. But do another Christmas one.
Morgan
Oh, it's not hers.
Amy
No.
Morgan
Oh, it's not all I want for Christmas. My two front teeth. She does a Christmas one, though. I know that.
Amy
Yeah, that's why we thought it was funny. You went to Santa, baby.
Morgan
Ah, man.
Amy
I'll give you a hint because you're not gonna get this point, but I want you to get it. Yeah, I don't.
Morgan
For Christmas.
Lunchbox
Come on, come on, come on.
Amy
Go, go.
Morgan
But I need.
Amy
No, no, no, no. Don't turn into being Crosby. Stay up, stay up. I don't want a lot for Christmas.
Morgan
But what I do.
Amy
No, no. Okay, it's a. I don't wanna lie for Christmas this year. All I want Christmas is you.
Morgan
Yeah, but all I want is you. That's all I was gonna say.
Lunchbox
You never said that.
Morgan
Every time I said. But he interrupted me.
Amy
No, because you. You went like. But okay. So far, playing our festival. Okay, how about this one? Lil Wayne.
Morgan
Scissor Purple Drink.
Amy
Okay, you're just saying things now that.
Morgan
Yeah, I'm out.
Amy
Amelia. Yeah. Yes. He missed that one.
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
How about now?
Morgan
This is gonna be crazy. Me, Lil Wayne, Jelly Roll, all in Vegas together.
Lunchbox
Wow.
Amy
I bet you never get within 50ft of them unless you. They're on the stage and you have, like, a pit pass. Oh, Ed Sheeran.
Morgan
Oh, I know that one. I know him. What is it called? Oh, I'm in love with the shape of you.
Amy
Yeah, good. I'm in love with the shape. Yeah, good, good.
Lunchbox
Pretty good, dude.
Amy
Okay, Something you won't know, but Ed.
Morgan
Sheeran, let me tell you. I saw him when he came here.
Lunchbox
San Antonio. Okay.
Morgan
No, no. That dude is pretty talented.
Amy
Well, yeah, he played our. He played our show.
Bobby Bones
He did, like, in our studio.
Amy
In our studio.
Morgan
Oh, I don't remember that. I saw him at the stadium, and I was like, this dude was just up there by himself, and he commanded the attention of the whole football stadium.
Amy
I was like, that's pretty cool, Brian at Brian Adams.
Morgan
No, I don't.
Amy
You got this.
Lunchbox
You got it.
Morgan
I literally have. Oh. Oh, I know. One, buckle your shoe. Two, lock back. Start. Back at you.
Lunchbox
What the.
Amy
Is that Freddy Krueger? One, two. Freddy's coming for you. Brian McKnight. Brian McKnight. Oh. One. You like a dream. Come. Brian McKnight. Yeah. Way off. No, Brian Adams. I got my first real six string.
Morgan
And you know what? I know what a six string is. It's a guitar. Okay, well, we had that quiz one time on this show, like, two years ago, and I had no idea, but now I know because you said that was the example.
Amy
John Fogarty.
Morgan
Smoke on the Water.
Amy
That'd be Deep Purple.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
You're around it, though.
Morgan
Hold on now. That's. That's Otis Redding sitting on the dock of the bay.
Lunchbox
He knows Otis Redding.
Morgan
Well, Bobby likes that guy. I'm just trying to do.
Amy
I love you.
Morgan
Love John Fogarty. I know. You used to go see him.
Amy
One of my first concerts ever.
Morgan
He was in Clearance Clearwater Revival.
Amy
Yep, exactly. What's the name of the band again?
Morgan
Clearance Clearwater Revival.
Amy
Oh, Clearance. Yeah.
Lunchbox
Clearance.
Amy
Yeah. Clearance 80 off. Clearwater Revival.
Morgan
Gosh.
Amy
It'S the band's Credence Clearwater. Revival.
Morgan
But he was in it.
Amy
Yeah.
Morgan
He did the theme of Wonder Years.
Amy
No, no, no. Not true. So John Fogarty does like. From Credence. He did like. It ain't Me. It ain't Me, I ain't no fortunate one. Oh, remember that song?
Morgan
No, I don't know that one.
Amy
Okay, how about down on the Corner?
Morgan
That's the one.
Amy
I was trying to come out in the Streets. Willie and the Purple. Or how about.
Morgan
I've heard that one. Yeah.
Lunchbox
What about There's a Bad Man?
Amy
Yeah. Okay. How about one more? How about.
Lunchbox
The Rain one?
Amy
No, the Tina Turner one.
Lunchbox
Oh.
Amy
Oh, yeah.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Morgan
Oh, he did a T. Turner.
Amy
Yeah. Was that the one? Oh, yeah. Rolling on the River. Oh, yeah.
Morgan
Proud.
Amy
Yeah, it's okay. You did primary anyway. But then he did put me in, coach. By himself. I'm ready to play today.
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
You know that one?
Morgan
Yeah, I know that one.
Amy
Sing it.
Morgan
Put me in, coach. I play left field.
Amy
No, center field. The whole song's called center field.
Morgan
Whatever. But I know it.
Amy
Let's try one more. Sammy Hagar.
Lunchbox
Oh, come on, dude.
Morgan
I don't know who that is. Oh, mama, don't let your cowboy grow out to be a cowboy.
Lunchbox
That's Willie.
Amy
That's Willie Nelson. I think he's thinking of.
Morgan
I'll be honest. I thought we used to work Merle Haggard.
Amy
Sammy Hagar.
Lunchbox
He's not with us anymore. Lunchbox.
Amy
Yeah. If they give him Earl to come.
Lunchbox
Play, I mean, it'd be amazing.
Amy
I'm for sure there. Sammy Hagar was in Van Halen.
Morgan
Excuse me. Who was the guy we. Oh, we worked with? Sammy Allred.
Amy
Yeah. Sammy Allred was a country music, like, radio personality.
Lunchbox
And you think he'd be playing I Heart?
Morgan
I was like, man, he was a musician.
Bobby Bones
No longer with us. Or did I imagine that?
Lunchbox
I'm not sure.
Amy
I don't know. I don't want to jump out there and say that, but I. I think he passed. I think he passed, too.
Lunchbox
Merle for sure.
Morgan
Merle for sure. So. Oh, Van Halen. What are they. Oh, jump.
Amy
Might as well jump. Yeah, go ahead and jump. Okay, one more. The Offspring.
Morgan
Oh.
Lunchbox
Oh, you know this.
Amy
You know multiples.
Morgan
The Offspring. Okay. They are the ones that sing. Jimmy's mom's got it going on.
Amy
Classic Jimmy. Jimmy with the hot mom.
Morgan
Jimmy's mom. No, Stacy's mom. It was Stacey.
Amy
Okay, you finally got the song. But that. That is not the same band. Okay, Offspring, the band you're thinking about is Fountains of Wayne.
Morgan
That was Fountains of Wayne. Don't know who they are. Offspring. And give me Santeria. And give me a crystal ball Sublime. Okay. Santa Monica Boulevard.
Amy
Everclear.
Lunchbox
I think he just did a Cheryl Crow.
Amy
Oh, I thought he was doing Santa I thought he was doing Everclear, Santa Monica. I think you're right. He was doing good job. Okay. Offspring. A couple of them. All the girls say I'm pretty fly for a white guy. That or you gotta keep them separated. You know that one?
Morgan
Yeah, I know about those.
Amy
Okay. Well, it's a heck of a festival.
Morgan
That sounds pretty good.
Amy
And then some people that I don't even know.
Bobby Bones
Oh, well, some people you don't even know.
Morgan
That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
I have no idea who F eid is. Fight or Feed. Anybody? Morgan?
F
No, I have no idea.
Amy
Yeah, yeah. Not in our wheelhouse. Brian Adams, Ed Sheeran, Feed. Don't know. Glorilla, Jelly Roll, John Fogerty. I'm all good there. Justice. Anybody know justice is. I know Victoria justice from back in the day, Nickelodeon.
F
That's who I know.
Amy
Yeah, not her, though. Lil Wayne, LL Cool J, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Sammy Hagar, Tate McRae. I'm good with her. Offspring.
Eddie
Tim McGraw.
Amy
Yeah. The two I don't know are Feed and Justice from Colombia. Oh, so it's a Latino artist.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, his real name is Solomon.
Morgan
He's from Medellin.
Amy
Hey, how Caucasian of me to have no clue.
F
Oh, and I think justice is edm.
Amy
Ish. Ah, how non European of me.
F
Electronic duo.
Amy
What were they from?
F
A French electronic music deal?
Amy
Like I said, how non European of me. Yeah, the festival is gonna be awesome. Tickets go on sale to Capital One holders on the 11th, the next week, and then general on sale is next. Is it next Friday 13th? Is that. We have a Friday the 13th coming up next week. Somebody's getting murdered on this show. Somebody will die next week.
Bobby Bones
Oh, my gosh.
Amy
I hate to make that prediction, but somebody's gonna die next week.
Lunchbox
I mean, It's Friday the 13th.
Amy
Oh, no. And if I'm gonna have to kill.
Lunchbox
Him just to make it happen, it's.
Amy
Got to be a bit bones. And now time for the most interesting segment in the world today. First off, Sandra Bullock says everybody should be a waitress. Here you go. Hit the clip.
Morgan
The precursor to acting is you become.
Amy
A waitress if you.
Morgan
If you are in the Wii, if you know how to navigate eight sets.
Amy
Of six top tables, height of happy hour, drunk people.
Morgan
And you can do it without writing anything down.
Amy
You remember everything. You can prevent yourself from being in.
Morgan
The weeds once you've accomplished that kind.
Amy
Of rhythm, I feel. I honestly feel you can do anything. And I think she definitely is talking about her profession of acting. But I think as someone who waited tables for years, that that job is needed by everyone. Because after doing that, you will see how people treat you. And it will make you treat people different and better for the rest of your life. Because you will see, like she said, drunk people, mean people, nice people. It will teach you the greatest story is once I spilled a whole tray of drinks on a guy. You know when they person walks out, big tray on their shoulder, and I spit the whole thing, dumped it on one guy and he left me one of the biggest tips I ever had. In a note that was like, hey man, bad days happen. Keep going. Like, I remember that so vividly, where someone gave me grace and was super kind to me, even though it was really one of the. I won't say irresponsible because I didn't do it on purpose, but I guess it could have been irresponsible. But you also get people who are so demanding and then leave nothing. And I think it teaches you the way of the world. It's a microcosm of the world. So I would say waiting tables, working in the service industry in general, because then you treat service better. And then secondly, working in retail. I worked in retail terrible most of the time because it was. People just take crap and throw it in shelves after the. And somebody's gotta go back around and fix it.
Lunchbox
Retail was your hobby lobby.
Eddie
Yeah.
Amy
And like, well, you know, we talk many times about the carts, but. And Lunchbox was a cart guy too. We had to go and get carts all the time. I think Lunchbox like getting carts though, because it kept him away from work. Is that true?
Morgan
No, it did keep me away from bosses, but I mean, it was hard work. It was 100 degree heat and the Sam's Club was on top of the hill. And so after about eight hours and people, you're halfway up the hill and they're like, oh, can you get one more on there? Can you not see me struggling to get this up the hill? I don't need to stop my momentum. Just take it to the story. Loser.
Amy
Oh, I wouldn't say that. I would say people who left it there. Well, that's put it in the middle. But I think working retail and working service were two of the better things to happen to me in my life because you just get more of an understanding of the scope of people and then hopefully it teaches you to be better in your scope. So, sure. Acting, I'm an actor, but yes, yes. So that's. That's story number one in this. Number two, a woman was saying her vows and that she loves her husband, despite his flaws. Which is kind of funny. If you have that relationship. You could say little stuff like that. The mother in law interrupted the bride's vows to tell the bride that she's not allowed to say that. Here you go. You know, say my son has flaw.
Lunchbox
Calm down. Let's calm down.
Amy
You're not going to ruin my. You are not. Wow. Everybody has flaws. And that's why I love them.
Bobby Bones
You can leave, Judy.
Amy
Like you don't have flaws. You can get out of my wedding. I have like 83 things to say about this.
Bobby Bones
Oh, my gosh.
Amy
Number one, I think so much stuff is fake on Tick Tock or the Internet. I'm gonna tell you why that wasn't fake one. You can tell either. They all deserve an Emmy. Every single person. It's shot oddly and then somebody coughs right into the phone.
Lunchbox
Right.
Amy
And that's how you kind of know it's bad.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
Like for sure someone's got the croup right in the phone. So the first thing I think is that she has to deal with that mother in law the rest of their life. Oh, not even that that happens there is so annoying and embarrassing and cringe worthy. It's that she has to deal with that mother in law the rest of the. Well, I say their marriage. And that is like the opposite of what I live with right now. At least I love my in laws. They're the greatest. Maybe I'd marry them instead of your wife. I didn't say that. You completed that. But man. And then also you're allowed in your vows with whatever relationship you have with your partner to do them super serious. Do them kind of funny. I'm sure in their relationship you can. They were poking at each other a little bit. That's great. Little Roasty Roast is fine. If it's agreed to. That mother in law needs to be shaken, not stirred. Another woman needs to grab her by the shoulders and go. Because you don't do that. Amy, your thoughts when hearing that?
Bobby Bones
I think it's like pretty crazy. Honestly. Something's off. Like there's a lot more to this narrative that we don't know. And I do think it's real.
Amy
John Hughes, 1169 with the tick Tock page there. I just feel bad for the bride. Yeah. And it immediately goes to. You can get out of here. So they had. The other thing I think of is they've had issues.
Bobby Bones
Yes. That's what I mean.
Lunchbox
They're laughing.
Amy
Right.
Bobby Bones
There's in the past. We see.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
Finally. So as of now, Southwest has changed, and they're charging now for baggage, and apparently they're raising fares. So this is from the Aerovosis Report. Hit it.
Morgan
Southwest is now charging $70 round trip for luggage.
Amy
They didn't charge this before. An average flight of $173, which is the average flight on Southwest, is now going to be $70 more. That's over 40% more.
Morgan
An insane hiking fair increase.
Amy
Now Southwest is actually going to be.
Morgan
Charging you for picking your seat, for.
Amy
Starters, but also for this. So this is the easy part. Amy, thoughts?
Bobby Bones
I thought they loved bags.
Amy
Oh, you. Yeah, I thought. I thought they just want people to get away. We're doing that.
Bobby Bones
I know.
Amy
I'm like, just going for what they've taught us in commercials. I thought they just.
Bobby Bones
They don't love bags anymore. I mean, I've slowly, slowly started to drift away because I lost my status on Southwest anyway. So if I still had my status, I would be a little bit annoyed. But now I'm like, okay, well, I've already been flying other airlines, which felt like really weird for me at the beginning, but now I'm getting used to it.
Amy
So this is what I shall say. Thank you for asking. Southwest is still, even with all this, much cheaper because they've had to raise their prices. So has everybody else. And there's a reason people have to raise prices now. The bags thing is the change they felt like they needed to make and had to make Southwest right now. And I'm not. I don't think I've ever been paid by Southwest Airlines in my life. I don't think they've ever been a sponsor for anything. I'm not sure if they have or not. Southwest is still the way more affordable option. But yes, prices do go up. Things do cost more. Fuel is more expensive. And if they thought by raising bags and prices. But prices will fluctuate as well. The actual flight price will fluctuate. If they thought that was going to kill all their business, they wouldn't have done it. They've put this through research and data. But still, as of now, Southwest is still the most affordable airline. Now, the best commercial they ever did wasn't we love our bags. That was a good one. It wasn't want to get away because that was also a great.
Lunchbox
Those were great.
Amy
Like, people would mess up. The best one was when they would go up to that wheel and spin it to see what size of the plane you would be on. And Southwest was always the big one, because other airlines, sometimes you had father's tiny planes.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah.
Amy
Southwest doesn't fly those small planes. To me, that's the best one of all the three. I am not a Southwest shill. As in I've never. I'll say it again. I've never been paid by Southwest Airlines, but I do think, generally speaking, when affordability meets quality, that to me, they're still the best. Now, are they the most affordable?
Eddie
No.
Amy
You can get on Lunchbox. What's that airline you fly?
Morgan
Spirit.
Amy
Spirit. And just cross your fingers.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Amy
Maybe you'll even get a seat. Maybe even get a seat. Sometimes I don't think you get a seat.
Lunchbox
You got to pay for a seatbelt.
Amy
You hold on to that thing with this like a subway. So. And then. But you could fly one of the more expensive ones like a Delta or an American. But yes, I don't hate. It's a. I don't like it, but I don't hate them for doing it because that's showbiz and business.
Lunchbox
Are the drinks still free?
Amy
No idea. Oh, if they're not, that'd be trouble. That's true. Then I'm out. I don't even drink, but that's the line.
Lunchbox
Well, no, it's not alcoholic drinks. It's like a Coke, you know, because like if you fly Spirit, you got to pay for those.
Amy
But don't. If you get an alcoholic drink, don't they basically give you tickets?
Lunchbox
Sometimes if you're.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, you have to earn the tickets somehow or earn them.
Amy
What are you doing in the back.
Bobby Bones
Like with your status or if you get like a. If you don't want to get away. Doesn't come with a drink ticket, but maybe if you buy one of the higher tier ticket prices, it comes with a drink ticket.
Amy
Yeah, I felt pretty dirty, I'll be honest with you.
Eddie

Amy
I got two celebrity stories. One about Sydney Sweeney, one about Meghan Markle. I'm gonna go to Lunchbox first about Sydney Sweeney. Is this weirded or not? Lunchbox, Go ahead.
Morgan
She is selling soap made out of her bath water.
Amy
Now, I saw this. It is a sit. You're disgusting too. Eddie, just for that reaction.
Morgan
Hey, whoa.
Amy
I just for that reaction. So she gets in the bath and takes a bath and then they mix soap with a little bit of her bath water. Go ahead, Lunchbox.
Morgan
Yeah, because there was a ad campaign where she was sitting in the bath and she was advertising a body wash. And everybody was like, oh, my God, I want the bath water. I would drink that bath water. And the company was like, man, it's kind of a good idea. So they put her in the bath and they captured that water. And now they're going to sell bars of soap that Sydney Sway Sweeney bathed in. And let me tell you, he buys the wrong one.
Amy
He buys Sydney Swaney, who's like an old minor league baseball player.
Morgan
I gotta be honest, she might be the hottest woman in Hollywood right now.
Lunchbox
Oh, boy.
Morgan
And I'M just wondering, is it creepy to buy it?
Lunchbox
It'd be a good novelty gift.
Amy
Okay. You're creepy, too, though, because I saw how you reacted to it.
Lunchbox
I just said, huh.
Amy
No, you said, huh. There's a difference in tone of your.
Bobby Bones
Big difference.
Amy
But is there any left? Because it was so viral that I don't. Mike D. Would you look and see if there's any Sydney Sweeney soap left? It goes on sale this Friday.
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
Really gonna enter, too. Do you want it? Lunchbox?
Morgan
I would love to have it.
Amy
How much? The way he said it, he just could have said yes. What would you do with it?
Morgan
I'd probably smell it.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Morgan
Rub it on my body. I mean, that's the closest. I mean, realistically.
Lunchbox
Yeah, realistically. That is going to be the closest you'll ever get to her.
Morgan
Yeah. I drill a hole in it. No, that's what I'm saying, Eddie. You're right. It's realistically the closest I'm gonna get to the hottest woman in Hollywood.
Amy
For sure. I'd get in the bath and drop it in, and it's like we're taking a bath together.
Morgan
Oh. It's kind of like what I was thinking, Mike.
Amy
How much is it? $8. That's all.
Morgan
That's it.
Amy
Wow. But it's gonna sell out in seconds. Yeah. What does it have a. It goes on sale at a certain time. It doesn't say what time, just Friday. Is it. It's not. Creep. What about the brand, Mike? Like, is there. Is it a special brand that. Of soap that we know that it's a great soap quality. It's a brand I use Dr. Squatch. Okay. So it's a Dr. Squatch brand that we already like. Is it creepy to buy that? I don't think so. And there's only. There's only gonna be 100 of them. Oh.
Lunchbox
Because it's only that bath water.
Morgan
Yeah.
Lunchbox
She's not gonna take lots of baths, man.
Amy
You can probably get that and resell it for so much, buddy. You could get that and then put that bar of soap in. In the bath of, like, Amy, then Morgan. Oh. And then sell it for triple.
Lunchbox
Interesting. It's like you're breeding bats.
Amy
Yeah. It's like attractive lady soap. You just wanted a bunch of attractive ladies if you could get it. I. It's not creepy unless you talk about it specifically you. Because it's become weird with you talking about it. But I think if Amy were like, oh, Dr. Squatch, this is fun. I'm gonna get this soap. We'd be like, well, that's fun.
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
No, it's creepy now because it's you.
Morgan
All right, Eddie, you want a bar, too?
Lunchbox
No, I don't want a bar. No, but again, again, it'd be a funny gift. Like, it'd be a funny gift to be like, look, here, I got you this.
Amy
This. You guys aren't getting it for a gift, though.
Lunchbox
I'm not bathing with that thing.
Amy
Rub it all over my body. Okay, so that's the first celebrity story, and it doesn't say a time, Mike. No, you just gotta sign up for it. Okay? There's gonna be 10, 000 people. Sign up for it. Lunchbox. I would sign up right now.
Morgan
I am.
Amy
Okay. The Meghan Markle story. Speaking of celebrities, Amy, you're up.
Bobby Bones
Well, so she has this email or a couple of email addresses she's created for her kids, and she emails them randomly. You know, they're little. They don't have access to the email yet, but she'll be like, it's Tuesday. Here's a picture of you and your sister eating breakfast, and this is what y' all ate. So cute. And she plans on emailing them things like that for the next, I don't know, 10, 15 years. And then when they're older, she'll give them the login and password to the email, and they'll get to go through and read or all of the emails she's been sending them over the years.
Amy
I see your face first, Eddie, your reaction.
Lunchbox
It's a cool idea as a parent, because, I mean, what's the difference between doing a scrapbook and then they won't enjoy it till, like, they're later they're older, and they get to see all the pictures or whatever, all the messages your parents sent you. That's pretty cool.
Amy
I like that, Amy.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I think initially I'm like, oh, yeah, that's really cool. But then I talked about it with my daughter. Like, she heard the clip, it played on social media. So that's where I saw it. Like, Megan, it was like a clip from her podcast or something. And my daughter looked at me and she goes, if you were to ever do that, I'm sorry, Mom, but I would open that up and get overwhelmed, and I don't think I would read them. Okay, well, thank you for. Thank you for your honesty. And, yeah, I didn't do that. So. Lucky you. You're 18, so I think it's thoughtful. But I guess it just depends. Like, yeah, are they going to open it up and there's going to be hundreds and hundreds of emails.
Amy
But she could. They could do one a day. Sure to have. But here's my issue with it. Megan Markle's so full of crap all the time. I feel like she just says stuff. Try to present this perfect parent image.
Bobby Bones
Oh, she does not done it.
Amy
I'm sure she's doing. She doesn't seem authentic at all. Like, nothing about her seems authentic. She's so contrived. So. And I will say probably a bit unfairly, but not all unfairly. She seems like a try hard that comes off as a try hard and that she just says crap. So people be like, oh, I wish I had her life. So that's why I think the idea is great if you don't brag about it. But even then I think it's a cool idea to share because another parents could do it.
Lunchbox
Right.
Amy
But I feel like she's just doing it to get great mom clout because I feel like she's always doing everything just to get clout. I'm a hater. I don't know why.
Lunchbox
Well, that is a lot of work, though. Like, remember I was doing messages on the side, like a little light board. And every day I come up with a message for the boys and I'd be like, have a good day at school. Or like, remember to do your homework. I did that for like a month. And then I was like, I'm not doing this every day. I'm out of sentence senses.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. I mean, but sending an email isn't that hard.
Morgan
I mean, remember to do your homework.
Amy
It's constant. Is something that's. I mean, to do anything consistently is hard.
Bobby Bones
Right, Right.
Amy
But it's not even about that. To me, it's that she seems so manipulative all the time.
Bobby Bones
Like, if it was just some normal mom talking about this, you'd be like, oh, cool, cool idea.
Amy
Like because of the perceived inauthent. Inauthenticity. Inauthenticity. I have distrust for anything she says. So I think the idea is good. I just don't trust her to be able to do it. And maybe that's overexposure too. And like, you're famous for no reason. Like you can be famous in America, in the uk, because that's part of. But here we don't give a crap.
Lunchbox
She is. Yeah, I thought she was on 15 years ago.
Amy
I think I've acted as much as she has. Hey, go watch my four episodes in Nashville.
Morgan
How long was she on Suits?
Bobby Bones
A while.
Morgan
Oh, okay.
Lunchbox
I don't know much about her, so.
Amy
Like, really, I don't, I'm, I'm, I'm not gonna say unfairly, but kind of unfairly a hater. Because everything she does seems fake to me. As somebody who tries to be authentic, even if it makes me look stupid or not look the best when I see somebody that's perfect all the time, I'm like, that's nobody in real life. I think it's a great idea. But if it, if it weren't her doing it, if it were like Cardi B, I'd be like, that's awesome. Him.
Lunchbox
You wouldn't expect that because Cardi B's for real.
Amy
Like everything's for real.
Morgan
Do you think Prince Harry regrets leaving the Royal family now? Like he think it has totally backfired, right?
Amy
Yeah, I do probably a little bit.
Eddie
Yeah.
Amy
Yeah, I don't know much. Listen, I only know what I read. But yeah, I think probably there's probably a little regret there for sure. When they're having to like do podcasts, like we have to sell our souls in podcasts. They wouldn't have had to do that. Yeah, now they're doing podcasts. And I can't wait for the Meghan Markle soap to come out. It's time for the good news with lunchbox. Tell me something good.
Morgan
17 year old Brandon Williams is hanging out at the beach in Jacksonville, Florida with his dad, his two brothers, and he looks and he sees a guy struggling in the water, bobbing up and down, going under the water and he's like, oh my gosh, I gotta help the guy. Only problem is Brandon doesn't know how to swim. So what's he gonna do? Is he gonna help him or just watch him? Right out into the ocean and he runs and he grabs the dude, but he's unconscious, so he's like dead weight. And there's rough tide, boom. Waves crashing, boom. And he's trying to drag him to shore. And Brandon's dad runs out there and they drag him to shore and they start tapping him saying, hey man, wake up, wake up, wake up. And they get him to wake up before paramedics arrive and the paramedics take him to the hospital and he's recovering.
Amy
So he wasn't at a depth where the kid had to swim. He just ran out without knowing the depth. And luckily enough his feet were still on the ground.
Morgan
Yeah, luckily he didn't have to swim at all. He just like was on his feet. It was just.
Amy
Still though, the fact that he ran out there not knowing how deep it was. Not being able to swim. Yeah, that's very brave.
Morgan
Yeah. Pretty cool. And so that they plan to reunite on the beach where he saved his life.
Bobby Bones
I love that sound.
Amy
Like Lunchbox was singing Wake Up. Do you know what band that is?
Morgan
Wake Up. Yeah, that is.
Lunchbox
He doesn't know.
Morgan
Eddie, would you just let me search my memory bank for a minute, please?
Amy
Search the bank. Go into the bank, withdraw some funds. Go ahead.
Morgan
Wake up. That is. What are they called? Not Out. Not.
Amy
Not.
Morgan
Not. No, no, that's not the name. That's not the name.
Amy
You never said a name. How I know what name? I almost said Allison Chains.
Morgan
No, I almost said Outcast, but that's not who I was thinking of. Wake Up. Wait. This band was popular when Limb Biscuit was around System of a Down. What?
Lunchbox
How did you do that?
Amy
He found the bank.
Lunchbox
How did you do that?
Amy
Right one. Wow.
Lunchbox
Hey, he was right. I should have let him get in the bank.
Amy
Dang. He had a key. He knew exactly where to go into the vault. He pulled open the right security box. Wow. That System of It Down. Good job. I think that's the best part of the story. I mean, a life saved. But Lunchbox went to the right bank.
Morgan
That was really right.
Lunchbox
Yes, that's right.
Morgan
You guys aren't messing with me.
Amy
All right. That's what it's all about. That was. Tell me something good. Time for Amy's Morning Corny.
Morgan
The morning Corny.
Bobby Bones
What do you call a drawer you have to slam over and over to close?
Amy
What do you call a drawer you have to slam over and over to close?
Bobby Bones
A total shut show.
Amy
Was the morning Corny, Amy?
Lunchbox
A. A. Yeah, that's.
Amy
That's a comedy special. I usually do a special just on that joke. Yeah, that's a good one, Bones. I'll list a famous TV couple. You name the show they're from. So I'll give you the character names. You name the show they're from. Write your answers down. If I were to say Ross and Rachel, everybody would say friends. Very good. Up first. And it's Survivor style. If you miss it, you're out. But everybody gets every question. Zach and Kelly. Zach and Kelly.
Morgan
I'm in and I'm in for the win.
Amy
Lunchbox.
Morgan
Saved by the bell.
Amy
Amy, say by the bell.
Lunchbox
Eddie, Say by the bell.
Amy
Gj. Gj. Good job. Good job.
Morgan
What does that mean?
Amy
Kevin and Winnie. Kevin and Winnie and the Pooh.
Morgan
I'm in for the win.
Lunchbox
I'm in.
Morgan

Bobby Bones

Lunchbox

Morgan
And I'm in for the win.
Bobby Bones
I'm in.
Amy
Amy.
Bobby Bones
Cheers.
Amy
Correct. Why'd you hit us with a what if you knew it?
Bobby Bones
Because I didn't have it. And then right when I said what, it came to me and I was like, okay, got it.
Amy
It. That works. I guess you don't know something.
Lunchbox
What?
Amy
And then.
Bobby Bones
Well, I said, what? And then you go, Sam and Diane. And right when you're saying it. I got it.
Amy
Okay. Lunchbox.
Morgan
Cheers.
Amy
Eddie.
Lunchbox
Cheers.
Amy
Good job. Dylan and Kelly and famous TV couples. Dylan and Kelly.
Lunchbox
I'm in.
Morgan
I'm in for the win.
Amy
Amy. Did you say in? Yep. Okay. Amy.
Bobby Bones
90210, Eddie.
Lunchbox
Beverly Hills. 90210.
Amy
Lunchbox.
Morgan
Beverly Hills. 90210.
Amy
Good. I'll accept our buddies, Pacey and Joey.
Morgan
I'm in for the win.
Lunchbox
One of his favorites. I'm in.
Bobby Bones
I'm in.
Amy
Lunchbox.
Morgan
Dawson's Creek.
Amy
Good. Amy.
Bobby Bones
Dawson's Creek.
Amy
Eddie.
Lunchbox
Dawson's Creek.
Amy
Good. Next up, Carrie and Mr. Big.
Morgan
I'm in the. In for the win.
Amy
Another one of his favorites.
Bobby Bones
Yep.
Lunchbox
Loves it.
Amy
Well, he goes hard on these. Yeah, he's like. I've never even seen the episode.
Morgan
I've seen an episode.
Amy
Lunchbox.
Morgan
Sex in the City. What I do.
Amy
Okay, I'm gonna give it to him because he missed it a little bit, but the same way Amy didn't give the. He said something wrong. But I'm gonna give it to him. Eddie, since you gave it to him.
Lunchbox
You got to give it to me.
Amy
Not if you're way wrong. Not if you say something like Northern Exposure.
Lunchbox
Sex in the City.
Amy
Okay. I have to give it to you, too.
Bobby Bones
Okay, Amy, it's Sex and the City.
Amy
Yeah. Really?
Lunchbox
What?
Amy
That doesn't make any sense. Yes, it is. Yes, it does.
Bobby Bones
It's Sex and the City. They're not having. They're. Wait, they're not always.
Amy
It doesn't Matter. Amy, it's okay.
Lunchbox
I would think it was about the city doing it in the city.
Amy
No, it's not about.
Bobby Bones
It's about that and the city.
Amy
Oh, everybody's still in. Meredith and Derek.
Lunchbox
Okay, this is where I'm going.
Amy
Sex on the City.
Lunchbox
No, no, that makes sense.
Bobby Bones
Another one of Lunchbox's favorites.
Lunchbox
Hold on. Can you say it again?
Amy
Meredith and Derek.
Bobby Bones
I'm in.
Lunchbox
Oh, gosh. I'm in.
Amy
Eddie.
Lunchbox
Meredith is the only one I know is from the office.
Amy
Wrong.
Lunchbox
Go.
Morgan
I knew it.
Amy
Lunchbox.
Morgan
Gray's Anatomy.
Amy
Correct. Amy.
Bobby Bones
Gray's Anatomy.
Amy
Correct. Ding, ding, ding. Okay, Laura and Steve.
Lunchbox
I'm out, right?
Amy
You are out.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Morgan
I'm in for the win.
Bobby Bones
I'm in.
Amy
Lunch. Lunchbox.
Morgan
Whoa. Family Matters.
Amy
Yeah, I went to puberty right there.
Lunchbox
It's okay, man. We all do it.
Eddie
Amy.
Bobby Bones
Family Matters.
Amy
Correct. They do end up together in the series finale of Family Matters.
Morgan
Really?
Amy
Yeah. They got together, though, earlier than that. But they end up together together. But the show cut short before the wedding.
Lunchbox
Wow, that's cool.
Amy
Okay, two people remain. Nick and Jess.
Morgan
Huh?
Amy
Nick and Jess.
Bobby Bones
I don't know what?
Morgan
Nick and Jess. Nick. Nick, Jess.
Bobby Bones
Five seconds.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
Try that method.
Morgan
All right.
Amy
What?
Morgan
Got it. I'm in.
Amy
Sex Below the City. Okay, Amy.
Bobby Bones
One Tree Hill.
Amy
Lunchbox.
Morgan
One Tree Hill.
Amy
Really?
Lunchbox
You both had that?
Amy
You're both wrong. Yeah, it's new girl. Okay, next up, Lily and Marshall. Lily and Marshall.
Morgan
I am in for the win.
Eddie
Dang it.
Amy
I knew he would know it. And I knew he'd slow play it so he wouldn't say it so fast so Amy knew he would know it. That is gamesmanship.
Bobby Bones
I'm in.
Amy
Amy.
Bobby Bones
Big Bang Theory.
F
Shoot.
Lunchbox
He knows it.
Amy
Of course he knows it. It's one of his shows.
Lunchbox
Oh, so it's a girly show?
Morgan
Yep.
Amy
It is. Downton Abbey.
Lunchbox
He loves that.
Amy
He loves it. No, Lunchbox. What is it?
Morgan
You know what haters hate? When you win. How I met your mother.
Amy
Correct. If I would have said Peter and Lois.
Morgan
Peter and Lois is Family Guy.
Amy
Yeah. Good. That's all I had left.
Lunchbox
That's it.
Amy
That's it.
Lunchbox
Wow. Good job, dude.
Amy
Hey, good job, dude.
Morgan
Thanks, man.
Amy
All right, man.
Morgan
And you wonder how I met Eddie's mother. She sent my dms.
Lunchbox
Stop. It's not true.
Amy
Got him. Wake up. You wake up in the morning, then you turn the radio on and the dial just keeps on turning. Riding this wigs next bit. And Bobby's on the mic, so you know what this is? This is the Bobby V, let's get to this voicemail. I know it will be uncomfortable, but hit it. Good morning, Bobby. I just wanted to call in. I went to the Rock Shock softball last night. Had an absolute blast. Launch box. Got zero people asking him for autographs. Well, Morgan number two. I mean, she was a big hit. I like Fox. I didn't really see him on the field that much. Maybe two innings. I'm sure he'll have an excuse. Appreciate you guys. Okay, so they had the Rock and Jock Folds of Honor celebrity softball game. And why this has been an issue is the news came to Morgan and said, hey, will you come and be on as one of the celebrities and, like, promote the event? Lunchbox didn't get asked. I guess Lunchbox didn't get invited, even play until late, but he's always screaming about it. So we've talked about it a bit, and so, I don't know, let's take a second and talk about how people played and if they got to play Lunchbox. Did you play more than two innings?
Morgan
Yeah, I played a lot of innings. I mean, I didn't keep track. I'm not sitting there like, oh, I went in that inning. That inning.
Amy
I mean, well, there's only like seven, right? So you should.
Morgan
There's no. There's nine innings in softball.
Amy
You played nine. A softball game?
Morgan
Yeah, we played a nine inning softball game. And I would just rotate in and out every other inning. So I played four or five innings.
Amy
Four or five?
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
Okay. And how'd you. Where'd you play in the field?
Morgan
I played short. I played center, played right center. Those are the three spots I think I played.
Amy
Did you sign the autographs?
Morgan
I signed a lot of autographs. Pictures, you know, all the whole nine yards.
Amy
Nice. And did you get any hits?
Morgan
Yeah, I went 1 for 3, double to left center, tried to stretch it into a triple, and got thrown out of third.
Amy
Oh, dang.
Lunchbox
Got greedy.
Amy
Got it. Okay.
Morgan
Yeah.
Amy
And, Morgan, what's your version of this? How'd you play?
F
I feel like I could have played better, but I did get two really good hits. Danae snagged him, and I think that's why she got her. She got defensive MVP because she had to, like, jump and catch my ball. It was a huge play of hers, so that was kind of a bummer.
Bobby Bones
I never got on base.
Amy
I saw your Instagram where you, like, you drilled a ball, but then you cut it off before you actually got the first. So I figured you.
Eddie
You were out.
F
Yeah, I got out. I tried to beat it like. Because I hit them both to her, which was the. She's the big ball player. And it was just. I was out before I even made it, but I was trying to run to out beat her. So I did get two. That I only got to be up to base. We did not do well hitting wise. Our team didn't. We only made it through our batting order twice.
Amy
Face, I don't. I don't want to be that guy. Allow me to be that guy.
F
Yeah, you can be that guy.
Amy
You didn't get a hit if you didn't get on.
F
No, but they were strong hits.
Amy
They're right.
Morgan
They just weren't on base. They were both a shortstop. I mean, let's not.
Amy
Oh, she ripped the one on Instagram. That was for sure. She ripped it. No doubt. But I knew because she cut it off before she got to the base. She probably didn't get a hit, but she ripped it. No doubt. But it's not a hit unless it is a clean. Even an error is not a hit.
Morgan
So.
Amy
Okay, you went over with some good contact.
F
Yeah, but I did make a good catch at second base.
Eddie
Nice.
F
And I fielded a few balls. I played second in center field quite a few times, and I feel like I was on. On field a little bit more than Lunchbox, but we were rotating, trying to make sure.
Lunchbox
Were they on the same. Were you guys on the same team?
Morgan
Yeah, we were on the same. Oh, you were?
Amy
Yeah. Okay, so I'm gonna ask each of you, Lunchbox, how did Morgan play?
Morgan
I thought Morgan had a rough outing. Yeah, she. She was. She made everybody on the outfield for the game take batting practices. It didn't pay off. And then she had one pop flash. He dropped right off her glove. That was bad. And then I was playing short, and there's a runner on first. She's playing second ground ball to me, and I go to toss it to second. Morgan is not there covering the bag. Bag. So I have to dive at the bag and try to get Cutler out at second.
Amy
Got it. So what would you rate her performance? A through F? Who?
Morgan
I'd probably say a D minus.
Amy
And now, Morgan, you're gonna talk about Lunchbox, but Lunchbox is not gonna interrupt because you did not interrupt him.
Morgan
Yeah, go ahead.
Amy
Yeah. No.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
F
Lunchbox also missed a pop fly very early on in the game, and he blamed it on the sunshine, which. Oh, doesn't wear sunglasses.
Bobby Bones
Softball.
F
And actually, when he had to dive to cover second, I had tried to communicate to him and said, hey, I'm Moving over because Jay Cutler is a lefty. So I'm gonna come over here. And I said, hey, you need to be covering second. He's like, I can't hear you. I can't hear you. I was trying to be a communicator on the field, and that's what happened there. And also he was a dum dum. All we needed was people on base. This guy could have had a base hit. He was on second and decided, I'm gonna make this more entertaining and got. Got stuck in a pickle. Instead of just staying on second base and being what could have been a run, he decided to be like, I'm gonna be funny, and then got out. Okay, so he gets an F for that alone.
Amy
Wow. Okay, so we're gonna have a better game.
Morgan
Hold on, hold on, hold on. Let me go ahead and let me present some facts.
Amy
You have 15 seconds. Okay, for both of you.
Morgan
Jay Cutler was on first base. Jay Cutler was not hitting when the ground ball came to shortstop. So her saying that she moved over, absolutely inaccurate. She may have moved over when Jay Cutler was hitting, but once he's on first base, you're supposed to guard the base. Because it was a ground ball to me from a right handed hitter. I believe it was Jordan Davis to me. And I go to flip a dirt second. She's not there. So her reenactment of the play.
Amy
Wrong.
F
I don't think we're remembering this game this time.
Amy
That's 15 minutes. That's 15 seconds. Shut his mic off, Ray. Ray, shut his mic off. Thank you. You're up. You have 15 seconds to go.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
F
I feel like we're remembering this moment very wrong, but all. All that to say Delaney Walker was our coach. Titans player, great athlete, and he kicked Lunchbox off the field. He came over to me and was like, yeah, I think we got to pull him.
Bobby Bones
So.
Amy
No way to be said.
Morgan
Okay.
Lunchbox
That's the best thing I've ever heard.
Amy
All right, I think we have it, guys.
Morgan
Turn me back on.
Amy
No, guys. Hey, turn them both off. Ray, please. Morgan and Lunchbox. Thank you. Hey, Amy, who do we.
Morgan
We've.
Amy
Who played. We want to. Who played the best?
Bobby Bones
I mean, it's probably Morgan.
Amy
I go with Morgan, too, Eddie.
Lunchbox
And when the manager says pull him out of the game, Morgan did it best.
Eddie
She was Morgan.
Amy
Valuable player. Mvp. Oh, my God, you guys, listen, we can't hear you hear him yelling in the back. We can't hear you, buddy. Your mic's off. Okay. Why? That'll do it. Thank you, everybody. Thank you, everybody. Ray.
Morgan
Hey, Peter.
Amy
Ray.
Morgan
Peter.
Amy
Peter. Peter. Hey, Bobby Bone Show Bonehead story of the day.
Morgan
This story comes to us from New York. Three guys decided to go hiking in the Adirondack Mountains. And before they head out, they're like, hey, know what we should do is take some mushrooms. So they eat the mushrooms, they go hiking. Two guys go one way, one guy goes other way, another two guys like, oh, my gosh, our friend died. We lost our friend. He's dead. They call 91 1- hey, we're hiking. Our friend is dead. Our friend is dead. And police respond, and they just find him on a different trail.
Amy
Well, you know, I think maybe even.
Eddie
Without the mushrooms, that happens.
Bobby Bones
We. I don't know that you would jump to the death conclusion so quickly.
Eddie
Maybe we lost our friend.
Bobby Bones
But the mushrooms, where did they go?
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Eddie
But you don't get in trouble for hiking on mushrooms.
Morgan
No, they just took him to a hospital to be examined and then they returned them to their campsite.
Eddie
Yeah. And you're talking about those mushrooms, like on pizza, right?
Morgan
Yeah, those kind of mushrooms, yeah. Just. Bad batch.
Amy
Okay.
Eddie
All right.
Morgan
I'm Lunchbox. That's your bonehead story of the day.
Amy
I'm begging you. Like, I'm basically panhandling out here for.
Eddie
Subscribers to our YouTube channel.
Amy
Do you have a subscription to spare?
Lunchbox
