That's getsunday.com. We'll start with Nancy Guthrie. There is a new story today from the New York Post. Investigators searching for Nancy Guthrie are probing a possible incident at the 84 year old's home in Arizona weeks before she was kidnapped. The sheriff Chris Nano, who has faced mounting backlash over the fruitless 52 day search, said authorities had zeroed in on an evening three weeks before the 84 year old was confirmed missing. Quote, we do believe that something occurred January 11th and that's with the FBI's analysis of the equipment and digital stuff they've done. That's a statement. Digital stuff they've done stuff. They're using the word stuff.
Amy
That's literally the quote the ring cam or what.
Eddie
That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
Nanoz who is leading the probe refused to expand on what evidence had led led investigators to that evening. In particular, Guthrie is believed to have been snatched from her Tucson home during the early hours of February 1st. It's the seventh week of the search.
Amy
Snatched also feels weird for me right there. But.
Bobby Bones
But that wasn't a quote.
Amy
I know, I'm just saying in the article.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's a writer. I don't mind that as much as stuff, stuff the stuff in the official statement. You know, stuff like stuff, you know, digital stuff.
Eddie
So, so they're not, they're not going to tell us what that incident was.
Bobby Bones
No, they won't because they haven't like use the evidence the most they possibly could.
Amy
They're doing things with it.
Bobby Bones
Oh yeah. Seventh week I saw that. She may go back to work in a couple weeks.
Amy
I guess she has returned but only temporarily.
Bobby Bones
Is that what it is?
Amy
Because she did go back.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Maybe the story was full time then.
Amy
Yeah. And I saw she did an interview.
Bobby Bones
Boy, I don't know who to blame there. Those cops, are they not doing a good job? The FBI got called in. They couldn't do anything right.
Amy
I don't know.
Eddie
Could it just be really good criminal?
Bobby Bones
No, probably not. I don't think it was that thought out. I don't think it was some like high end kidnapper looking for a massive ransom.
Amy
Like so it was a rant like they had no idea they were Kidnapping or taking or snatching. That's snatching a famous person's mom.
Bobby Bones
I don't think that. I think it was a burglary.
Eddie
You still think that?
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
Gone wrong.
Bobby Bones
And then, you know, they're like, who's out there? Oh, crap.
Eddie
Take her, shoot her.
Bobby Bones
Let's get her out of here.
Eddie
Just shoot her. But there wouldn't be. There would be stuff. There would be stuff there.
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Punch her, drag her out of here. And then there was blood outside on the.
Amy
No, I meant, like, she. With, like, blood and guts. If she. If she was shot. Wow.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Like, let's get her out. She sees us. Yeah, I don't know.
Amy
I don't know either.
Bobby Bones
It's.
Eddie
It's weird because, like, nowadays I feel like no one can get away with any kind of crime with DNA, with cameras everywhere, with all the technology that we have. Like, I feel like it'd be so hard to get away with a crime. And the fact that this has gone on so long, so long is bizarre.
Bobby Bones
If I were to be able to have a time machine and go back, I wouldn't be committing crimes. But, man, what I think about it,
Eddie
do whatever you want.
Bobby Bones
You just murder and drive across state line.
Amy
What? What do you mean? Man, you would think about it.
Bobby Bones
I wouldn't, but I'd be like, dang, that person made me mad. I could probably get away with this.
Eddie
If people back then, to Bobby's point, knew that they can get away with it so easily, they would do more. There would be way more crimes.
Amy
Interesting. Freaking. I don't just.
Bobby Bones
I'm not like those murderers. Serial killers would just kill and move states. They'd never catch them.
Eddie
Yeah, Ted Bundy would. It took him forever to catch him.
Bobby Bones
They'd never catch him.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So if you really made me mad, I'm gonna have to do some killing.
Eddie
All right.
Bobby Bones
What do you have, Amy?
Amy
You're kidding. Well, so Zendaya has a new movie coming out in theaters next week called the Drama, and they're in it. She can. This is not a. I'm not spoiling anything. I don't think in it.
Bobby Bones
You haven't seen the movie?
Amy
No, it's not even out. Okay, so in. In it, she's getting married, and she confesses to her fiance that she once plotted a school shooting, but she chickened out. And it's a rom com, but it's got a dark side to it. And so now a father whose son was in Columbine, like, his son died at that school shooting, is, like, really upset. Like, why do we need to intertwine? Why does Hollywood feel the need to put that into a storyline for a rom com or any movie for that matter? And he just feels like it's completely inappropriate. And I, I guess, I mean, I'm thinking about it too and I'm like, yeah, why? Why make that part of a storyline? To put it in more people's heads.
Bobby Bones
Is it a book?
Mike
No, it's not a book.
Bobby Bones
It is put in people's heads. There are like 10,000 school shootings a year.
Amy
I know, but like, like it's, it
Bobby Bones
exists at such a level now I can look it up.
Amy
So it's an.
Bobby Bones
That it's not like it happened once and it was this one tragedy. It happens all the time. But also to talk about things, even a way like that does bring awareness to things as well. Like.
Amy
Oh, like maybe someone who's considering it would be like, Zendaya chickened out too. I should chicken out.
Eddie
It says the fact it's a rom com is weird.
Amy
Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, it's the. Are in this movie together. It's being marketed as a fun wedding flick, but a dark plot twist is shocking the heck out of early unsuspecting viewers. And the news has spread and then. Oh, shoot. It says warning, major spoilers.
Eddie
Oh no.
Mike
But it became a news story.
Bobby Bones
I saw it in the news. But the thing is then you couldn't make any story lines about shootings or robberies or.
Amy
Oh, that's true.
Bobby Bones
Anything.
Amy
Okay, good point.
Bobby Bones
With the same. Listen, nobody thinks that school shootings are good. Everybody knows they're extremely tragic or domestic
Amy
violence like that know.
Eddie
I mean they're not going to show anything though, are they? Cuz like I feel like if you saw.
Bobby Bones
We don't know. You're asking a question we don't know the answer to and I don't think he.
Amy
Well, she didn't go through with it. She's just saying I had once plotted a school shooting and I didn't do it.
Eddie
Got it.
Amy
But she was, you know, and there's
Bobby Bones
probably a lot of kids that think about that because it happens so often. But again, you couldn't rob a bank in a movie. You couldn't have a murder in a movie. You couldn't send people to war in a movie if you're using this same kind of logic because people die doing that stuff tragically.
Amy
That's true.
Bobby Bones
That's all. I haven't seen the movie.
Amy
It's not out yet. Yeah, and ignore everything I said about
Bobby Bones
It, I saw that in the news article.
Amy
Yeah, it's a big story. So that's why I was bringing it up. Just curious your thoughts. But I, I immediately was felt for that father and was like, oh, yeah, it makes a good point. But then now I'm hearing you and I'm like, oh, that's a really good point too. There's a lot of things in shows that are.
Bobby Bones
People have. People go through sexual assault in shows.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everything valid. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
And so anybody that's been through it could be triggered by it. It should be triggered by it. And I understand why they would be triggered, but I know you can't totally clean everything off of everything. If so, then nothing happens and it's all, hey, toodles. You guys know Toodles?
Eddie
Toodles Is that, oh, Mickey Mouse. Mickey Mouse clubhouse.
Bobby Bones
And like the little Mickey Mouse head
Eddie
flies up like a. Wow, you're watching that already?
Bobby Bones
Oh, Toodles.
Eddie
Oh, dude, get ready. That's where it starts with toodles.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. 20, 25 mass shootings. Over 500.
Amy
That's crazy.
Bobby Bones
A mass shooting in America, by the way, a mass shooting is four more people shot, injured or killed. 500 plus incidents. 20, 24, 600 plus incidents. Yeah. So it's it.
Eddie
I'm surprised Hollywood hasn't made a movie about that yet.
Bobby Bones
What?
Eddie
They have school shooting?
Bobby Bones
I, I would assume.
Mike
Yeah, I've seen many.
Eddie
Oh, they have. I haven't heard of any.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I, I, I don't know any offhand, but I would assume that they've made more than a few.
Mike
They made one back in the day called Elephant that was about Columbine and
Eddie
they show the actual shooting of the school.
Bobby Bones
Well, you know the song Pumped Up Kicks about school shooting.
Eddie
Yeah. Yeah.
Amy
Oh, there was an episode of SWAT about a school shooting. Just realized there was. Yeah. I watched SWAT with my son and it just occurred to me that. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Am I thinking of the Mark Ruffalo show?
Eddie
No, that's, that's a task.
Bobby Bones
What is another four letter word.
Eddie
But SWAT is a CBS show.
Amy
SWAT's like a. Yeah, it's like a. Yes. CVS. One of those. Like one that's good to watch with your kids.
Eddie
Yeah.
Amy
Except for that one. I was sort of like, oh, Stevenson. I didn't want him to like, freak out going to school the next day. But they ended up. Yeah, that was tragic. They were covering it, but it's like. Yeah, they're those types of shows cover real life things that happen.
Bobby Bones
Oh, Toodles. One Goofy was hanging out of a hot air balloon. He's about to fall, and, like, I guess he can die, but people have died in hot air balloons.
Eddie
Yes, they have.
Bobby Bones
So he's about to fall, and he called for Toodles. Mickey called for toodles. And Toodles is a drone that's shaped like Mickey's head and went up and saved him.
Eddie
And then doesn't Toodles have, like, an option? Like, what do we need to save Goofy? Do we need a rope?
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah.
Amy
Oh, this just popped in my head. Since we're talking about TV and what's appropriate, what not. And speaking of swat, this is another thing. It's a show I watch with my son. And why they wrote this into the storyline, I don't know. But one of the agents or one of the members of swat, she is bisexual and has met another girl, and she started going out with her. And then the girl's like, I have to confess, I'm married and we're looking for a third. And I'm like, what? Wow. CB like, 7:00pm family TV time. Like, why are we introducing now? And she's like, well, oh, that's weird. I don't really know that I'm into that. And then she consults some of her SWAT team members, and they're like, maybe you should give it a try. And I'm like, what? So now she's a throuple. And I'm like, what does this have to do with swat? Like, why? Why?
Bobby Bones
Eddie and I make a note to
Eddie
watch the show swat and what time is it?
Bobby Bones
What's that network?
Amy
My son's like, wait, what's happening, Mom? And I'm like, oh, my gosh, we don't need it. Like, we're too young for these conversations.
Eddie
Like, yeah, thruffle. I would think so.
Bobby Bones
I didn't think it was a thruffle. I thought it was just, like, inviting her over for.
Amy
No, no, no. They were looking for a legit third partner. Like, not just a random, messy it. I just was like, this does not seem like SWAT material.
Bobby Bones
Like, this SWAT or 7:00pm on a network. Right.
Eddie
That's really why I watch sports. Sports is the only thing I can have on the house, like, at all
Amy
times where they're not, like, trying to address some, like, controversial, like, about your, like, sexuality that kids shouldn't even be thinking about.
Eddie
This is just like, the one thing is, like, ah, cool guys trying to make it in the basket.
Amy
Good point.
Bobby Bones
Amy, your story.
Amy
I gave it. That was my Zendaya story.
Eddie
I gave it.
Bobby Bones
All right, lunchbox.
Lunchbox
Yeah. This woman, her name is Donna Motzinger. Back in 1972, she went to a Bill Cosby comedy show, said, oh, he gave her a bottle, a glass of wine, a pill, unconscious. He allegedly sexually assaulted her. She sued him in civil court, and she won $19 million.
Bobby Bones
I wonder if she's going to get it. Like, does he have that money anymore? Because you can win for a billion dollars, it doesn't mean you're going to get it. Because if there's not money there, you don't get the money. The government doesn't give you the money. The person's supposed to. Like, OJ's people never got paid until maybe way, way, way later.
Amy
Right.
Bobby Bones
So I don't know if Bill Cosby
Eddie
has that money because he's given a lot of money, you think, or he's.
Bobby Bones
It's cost him for all legal fees.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
I don't know. What. What do you know about that lunchbox?
Lunchbox
It says that he is going to appeal. That's all it says. It doesn't say if he's gonna. When he has to pay by. But yeah, he did not testify in the trial.
Bobby Bones
Man, that dude got away with that for decades. Yeah, like Dirty Dog dude and like, living the life of Mr. Clean Clean Comic, like, being judgmental towards other comics for doing blue material. And then the whole time, this is what's been happening with him. And how it even became a story is crazy. Another comic was doing jokes about it, and that's how it became a story. That's how the whole thing blew up.
Eddie
Was it, like, something that everyone kind of knew but no one talked about, I would assume.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Amy
At least in the comedian world.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Or the Hollywood world.
Eddie
Sure. The community.
Amy
Yeah, the community.
Lunchbox
I mean, isn't it crazy that he just got out of jail just because some prosecutor back in the day said, hey, don't worry, we're not gonna prosecute you. And that's how he got out.
Bobby Bones
I need to hear more about that.
Lunchbox
So he was sentenced to 10 years in prison, and he only served three because his conviction was overturned because a Pennsylvania prosecutor back in the day said that they would not prosecute him ever again. And boom, there you go.
Amy
Oh, so you're not, like, allowed to say that? I guess.
Lunchbox
I guess they made a deal with him.
Bobby Bones
Hmm.
Amy
And they had. Is it recorded?
Bobby Bones
They pinky promised a rapist.
Amy
You know, this is Bill Cosby's one of those guys where right now, if you would have said dead or alive, I would have maybe said I'd had
Eddie
to think about it, too.
Bobby Bones
I would have been like, when he
Eddie
said jail, I was like, I didn't. I don't know. He went to jail.
Bobby Bones
Oh, yeah. He was in jail for a while.
Lunchbox
Yeah. He got convicted of rape. Like, he was gone.
Amy
Yeah. When lunch walk said 19 million, I'm like, how is he gonna pay that
Bobby Bones
from the Grave estate? She probably had a better chance of getting that money from the Bill Cosby estate than she does Bill Cosby alive.
Amy
That's true. How do they have. Okay. When you're doing something that far back, what's the evidence?
Bobby Bones
I don't know. I don't know enough about the trial. It's a good question, though.
Lunchbox
Yeah. I think it's just her statements and
Amy
I mean, maybe there's witnesses.
Eddie
There has to be more than statements.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's a good question. I never thought about that. All right, lunchbox. Thank you. Do you see the Bob Barker stuff? There's a new documentary.
Amy
I don't know. It's not good, though.
Bobby Bones
You don't know, but it's not good, though. Those don't work together either, you know, and it's not good, though.
Amy
I do know, but what I'm saying is it makes me feel like if there's this one, then there's more.
Bobby Bones
So what I've seen on social media is that there's a documentary and it's part of an E series on like, behind the scenes of shows and stuff. And there's one just about Price is Right. And it's like, Price is Right. Sex in the dressing room. Bob. And apparently he was like, back in the day, like a dirty dog. Now they don't say anything about what
Amy
did he have the girls? What were they called? Bob's Babes. Well, they had a name.
Eddie
Were they Bob's Beauties?
Amy
Bob's Beauties.
Bobby Bones
Bob's.
Eddie
Yeah, that would be better.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Bob's itches. I won't say the whole.
Amy
But yeah, it's like, yeah, Bob's Beauties. But they were, you know, like game shows. You know, there's like pretty girls, like flipping signs and stuff.
Bobby Bones
You're really thinking that Wheel of Fortune too. They were flipping signs.
Amy
Well, Vanna, why. But like, the girls are showing off the cars and makes you think of too like the. The Family Feud host back in the day. He used to kiss all the female contestants and it was like, oh, this is normal.
Bobby Bones
Richard Dawson.
Amy
Is that his name?
Bobby Bones
I think so.
Eddie
Kiss him on the cheek.
Bobby Bones
No, no, lips.
Eddie
Lips.
Bobby Bones
Straight up front, front, front.
Eddie
Kiss Elvis style.
Lunchbox
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Wild dude. Yeah. Every.
Lunchbox
Every woman.
Amy
Google it. And it's like, so cringe. But it was so just the norm then that, like, I don't think people really knew how to protest it, if you will. Like, even if the women were uncomfortable, they're like, what do I do? But some women are like, oh, this is fun.
Jana Kramer
This is.
Bobby Bones
But will you read about the Bob Barker stuff and tell me what the allegations are?
Mike
Oh, yeah.
Bobby Bones
Or at least it said from the story a Bob. Because Amy doesn't know. But what she does know is it's dirty.
Amy
What I know is I saw it and I believed her.
Bobby Bones
I. I googled how to find that because I was going to watch the documentary.
Mike
Yeah, it's called Dirty Rotten Scandals.
Bobby Bones
And what does it say about it?
Mike
It Sundays during his 35 years, he was accused of a hostile work environment. There's a model who claims that he was vindictive towards her. There's sexual harassment, inappropriate behavior, racism, misconduct, and mental health struggles.
Amy
And then that, to me just sounds
Bobby Bones
like the 70s in general. Like the 60s and 70s, like, dudes were just given full. Like, it was terrible. Imagine being a woman in Hollywood in the 40s, 50s, 60s.
Danielle Fishel
Horrible.
Bobby Bones
Horrible.
Amy
I mean, I don't know, but it sounds bad.
Eddie
Sounds bad. We weren't there.
Amy
And I think this particular Bob beauty girl, she then was fired.
Bobby Bones
I'm sure that's how you did it back then.
Amy
Yeah. Like, if you speak up or.
Mike
Her name was Holly Hallstorm. She alleged she was fired in 1995 after refusing to speak out against another model who had sued Bob Barker for sexual harassment.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, that's great. I looked it up to where to watch it, and you can watch it on YouTube TV, but you have to watch it with commercials on YouTube TV.
Amy
That's fine.
Eddie
That's how my. That's how my Amazon is.
Amy
That's how my Hulu is.
Bobby Bones
It doesn't make me feel better that you guys watch commercials. I just don't want to watch commercials.
Eddie
Well, we're just telling you it's fine.
Amy
You get over it. You're like. And it gives you a little countdown
Bobby Bones
clock, but you can't skip them is what I know. It like, locks you out.
Eddie
It's your bathroom time.
Mike
Or just girl, tick tock during that time.
Amy
You know what's crazy on, by the way?
Bobby Bones
She's not gonna be on camera. The baby's not My wife. And the baby have now entered the room.
Amy
Yeah. So we're all.
Bobby Bones
So she's. She's sitting in the car.
Amy
We're all feeling extra tingly.
Bobby Bones
Go ahead.
Amy
The Amazon. Whatever. When you're watching Prime. If you pause it. If you press pause, a ad will pop up with a QR code. They're. They're brilliant.
Eddie
Oh, mine is. You can just click it because it's already Amazon. So you just click the commercial and I get whatever they're advertising.
Amy
Oh, yeah, whatever. I mean, maybe that's on.
Bobby Bones
I've never seen.
Amy
Ooh, there's a QR code.
Bobby Bones
So easy.
Amy
Like everything.
Bobby Bones
Have you seen that, Kayla, on Amazon?
Danielle Fishel
Whatever.
Amy
You just try to pause something and then bam. They. They're selling you something that you need.
Eddie
You must have bought the non commercial.
Amy
Yeah. You probably don't have that.
Bobby Bones
I like to be offered deals. Like, I would like to have that as long as I'm not stopping the show.
Amy
Like.
Bobby Bones
Like, if I pause it, I'd love to have something pop up like you may need.
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
You know, new.
Amy
It'll be something that maybe I ordered a month ago. So 30 days have passed. So clearly maybe I need to buy more.
Bobby Bones
Because it knows what's in your prime.
Amy
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Eddie
And I don't know which one it is, but there's one that it's like, almost choose your adventure, but it's. Choose your commercial. That's kind of fun.
Mike
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
They'll let you pick sometimes on YouTube.
Amy
Sometimes I think I picked the wrong one.
Bobby Bones
A wrong commercial, you get mad because you picked the wrong commercial. Sometimes on YouTube, they'll just give you moments. As in YouTube TV.
Eddie
Oh, yeah, I like that one. It's like a little panda eating bamboo or something.
Amy
I don't have YouTube TV.
Bobby Bones
It's the best. And someday, who knows, we may have, like a cable sponsor or something. I'll be like, man, that sucks. Now, I won't say that sucks, but. But YouTube TV, it is cable. It's great. And it. It kind of has an algorithm on what to show you to watch too, because it pops up as your first three or four. You guys have YouTube TV?
Eddie
No, I don't have YouTube TV. But is that the one where you can split the screen to watch different games? Yeah, I love that.
Bobby Bones
Before you do two, I don't have that Eddie story.
Eddie
Yeah. So they interviewed Elton John and he was talking about his favorite vocalist of all time. He said George Michael was his favorite vocalist, who probably he thinks is the best vocalist of all time.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, we missed that.
Eddie
Wham.
Bobby Bones
No. Even George Michael, a solo artist. But also he sang songs that were pop songs that were mostly about the melody, and it didn't really feature how strong of a vocalist he was.
Amy
Like, you got to have faith. To faith.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Those are just fun songs. But. And he wasn't really highlighted as, like, a pure vocalist, which I'm sure if Elton John says it, I believe it. Also. We missed him as a big pop star when we were. Well, maybe Eddie didn't, but when we were consuming pop music.
Eddie
I was little.
Amy
He was your favorite.
Eddie
I was in elementary school.
Bobby Bones
What was the reason for that story?
Eddie
It was just talking about, you know, Elton John, how he didn't think he was a really good vocalist because he thought everyone was like, oh, well, you'd probably think yourself is the best vocalist ever. He's like, no, I. He's like, I didn't really even want to sing. He's like, I'm a pianist. And then once we started writing songs, like, well, obviously sing my songs. And then he was pretty good at it. But I. I don't know. And then I want to ask you, like, who's. Who do you think is the best vocalist of all time?
Bobby Bones
I don't have a good answer for that.
Amy
Adele, maybe?
Eddie
She's awesome.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, there's a lot of awesome people, but they're. Everything's so different. Like, tones are different. And if you're like, who's your favorite vocalist of all time? Stapleton.
Amy
Yeah.
Eddie
Oh, he's awesome.
Amy
Legit.
Bobby Bones
And that's because he can really sing and what his voice sounds like, like, raspy and controlled. I'm sure in reality, the best vocalists of all time are opera singers. Like trained opera singers. Not knowledgeable in that area. But I'm sure Pavarotti probably is on the list.
Eddie
Right.
Bobby Bones
I'm sure guys like that are probably. Or women that wear the Viking hats.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Coming out of the side. Yeah. I'm sure those are typically the best pure vocalists or Broadway singers, but I don't know them.
Eddie
What about Freddie Mercury?
Bobby Bones
Great vocalist, but I would also say with Freddie Mercury. Yes, for sure. Robert Plant.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
Led Zeppelin singer. So there are people that I think are really good.
Eddie
Had no idea who that was.
Jana Kramer
I did, too.
Bobby Bones
I think she might have.
Amy
I remember. Don't I have a Led Zeppelin shirt?
Eddie
Yeah. Did you buy a Target?
Amy
No, it was real vintage tea, like, legit.
Bobby Bones
There's a cruise you can go on for 15 years.
Eddie
People do that, Right. Like some people live on them lunchboxes.
Bobby Bones
Is that what it felt like to you, staying all seven days on our cruise?
Lunchbox
Yeah, I was gonna say. I've already been on a cruise for 15 years, guys. That was.
Bobby Bones
Woohoo.
Lunchbox
I mean, it's great, but, man, that was a Long time to be on a boat.
Bobby Bones
It seems hundreds of people are signing up to go on a cruise for 15 years. Villa VI Residences. The Odyssey ship offers what they call the first perpetual world cruise, leading residents to sail nonstop for 15 years while visiting 147 countries. How much do you think this costs?
Eddie
Oh, that's. I mean, that's a lot for 15 years.
Amy
Hold on, let me. I'm going to do the math.
Bobby Bones
I'll give you a chance to win your $10 back, too.
Amy
Thank you. Okay. How many years? 15 years.
Bobby Bones
Yep.
Amy
15 times 52. That's 780 weeks at.
Bobby Bones
Glasses.
Amy
Caitlyn, they're my readers. I can see.
Bobby Bones
Do you see the tent in them? No, I don't see the tint in them.
Amy
Yeah, he thought they were clear, but I was like, no, they're pink.
Eddie
Because they're red. Possibly.
Amy
Yeah, they're like. They're called Rose.
Bobby Bones
But when she turns her head, the big light is in her glasses. I. I don't think I would miss them totally in real life. And then she goes, can you tell I'm wearing different colors? Denim.
Amy
Well, he goes, amy's wearing denim on denim today. I said, well, technically, black denim with blue denim.
Eddie
And then she was like, can you see that?
Amy
I didn't say it. That. The way you just repeated that. Back you go, go ahead.
Bobby Bones
And you said, you're stupid and ugly and be a bad dad. He said all that stuff.
Eddie
Good question.
Bobby Bones
What happened?
Eddie
She wonders if you think if she's prettier or uglier because you're colorblind than she truly is.
Bobby Bones
I don't understand.
Eddie
Like, Caitlyn's wondering, I wonder if Bobby thinks, like, am I prettier or uglier? Do you even see the real her?
Bobby Bones
The color of you? I know what color you are, but
Eddie
if you can't see the tint, then maybe you're not seeing the real.
Amy
Yeah, I don't.
Bobby Bones
I don't really know. I don't know people's eye colors.
Eddie
Stop. Do I have blue eyes?
Bobby Bones
I have no idea.
Eddie
Stop. You're crazy.
Bobby Bones
You think people know you for your eyes.
Eddie
Well, no, but I don't have blue eyes, obviously.
Bobby Bones
Oh, I thought. I thought you were saying you did. That's how much I don't know what color your eyes are.
Eddie
You think I have blue eyes?
Bobby Bones
No. What you said led me to think you were saying, do you like my blue eyes? So I assumed you do have blue eyes.
Eddie
So if I kept telling you, man, my eyes are blue, I wouldn't Care. And you would be like, oh, cool. Eddie has blue eyes.
Bobby Bones
Yeah.
Trivia Host
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
But what's weird about that? I don't see color very well.
Eddie
Okay. He doesn't even know I'm Mexican.
Bobby Bones
Now that I do know, mostly how you say salsa. What is your number on your cruise?
Amy
Is it around $3 million?
Eddie
No. It has to be, though.
Bobby Bones
You can buy the whole boat.
Eddie
15 years is a long time.
Bobby Bones
Prices range from 129,000 for an inside villa up to $439,000 for a suite.
Amy
Well, they don't have the drink package.
Eddie
That's true.
Bobby Bones
They didn't get the black ticket. They got lunchboxes, red card.
Amy
Their meals must not be included.
Eddie
No, but that's. That's a bargain.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, but you have to be on a boat for 15 years, but you
Amy
get to see 100 in however many countries.
Bobby Bones
How are you going to have a job?
Amy
You don't. You do it in your retirement, you
Bobby Bones
die on the boat.
Eddie
Good. And they have everything on there, man. Fitness, weight room. They have IV treatment, massage.
Bobby Bones
Massage.
Amy
We have to pay extra for food.
Bobby Bones
Part of the package. Well, my black card would have gotten me a massage.
Amy
No,
Bobby Bones
we have something really special for you. A chance to win a trip for two to our I Heart country festival in Austin, including airfare, hotel, and a meet and greet with Russell Dickerson.

Bobby Bones
Lunchbox. Have you addressed next year's cruise that you don't want to be red carded?
Lunchbox
Oh, yeah, I've. I addressed it day one when we were on the boat, I addressed it day two on the boat, I addressed it day three, I told them over and over and over about how I need to be upgraded. And they're like, oh, I don't know if that's in the budget. There is no budget. What budget? It's just you put a sticker on it. It's hard.
Bobby Bones
I don't know if it works just like that, but I think it's hard to get them to change it day of.
Lunchbox
But I know, but I said next year we need. And they're like, oh, I don't know, man. We the budget. And I'm like, screw your budget. Putting a sticker on my card that says premium where I can have a drink. It doesn't cost you a dime.
Eddie
And at our age, I'll, I'll say this. At our age, we, we're not gonna break the bank with the amount that we drink.
Lunchbox
No, no. And it doesn't matter how much you drink. A drink cost them 10 cents.
Bobby Bones
Again, you don't know that for sure.
Lunchbox
No, no, I do.
Bobby Bones
No, you don't know it's 10 cents is my point. Like you're just throwing numbers out. I do.
Lunchbox
No, no, no, Let me explain.
Bobby Bones
And also, it does cost money. Cause you're saying things, you're not saying things that are accurate. It does cost money because what happens is the boat goes. We have this much money to pay for all promotion for people coming on and for every person that comes on, that's money out of the money that they pay. Right. So I'm not saying you shouldn't have been upgraded, but you're saying a lot of things that are factually inaccurate. So. But you can continue now.
Lunchbox
It cost them minuscule amount of money to have me have a drink package. Like a bar, like buys a bottle of vodka, it costs them like $2 for a high end bottle of vodka.
Bobby Bones
And they. Again, that doesn't sound right either.
Eddie
There's no way that that's true.
Bobby Bones
And I agree with you.
Lunchbox
They buy it. They buy it in bulk, guys. It's not like they're going to the store and buying it.
Bobby Bones
But $2, it's not too $.
Eddie
It's not $2.
Bobby Bones
I also agree with him. He should have been upgraded. Yes, but I can't let him yell 10 cents of $2.
Eddie
And man, it was so funny when he wasn't upgraded.
Amy
Just use the word minuscule.
Lunchbox
Okay. Minuscule. Okay. If you buy a well vodka, it cost them a dollar for the bottle, and they charge you $6 a drink, just at a regular bar.
Eddie
$7amounts when he knows he's wrong.
Amy
$20 for one.
Lunchbox
But that's what I'm saying is it cost them 10 cents to make that drink. The profit margin on drinks is that's where restaurants and that's where they make their money.
Amy
Well, they're paying the bartender.
Bobby Bones
I agree with you. I agree with you. That's where they make their money. But I just saying, the data, the numbers you're using aren't accurate.
Amy
Right.
Lunchbox
Okay.
Bobby Bones
Do you agree with that?
Lunchbox
No.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Lunchbox
Because I know people that own bars, and they tell me 10 cents a drink.
Bobby Bones
They pay $1 for a whole bottle of vodka.
Eddie
A dime. It costs a dime for them to make a vodka soda?
Lunchbox
Yes. If you're getting a well vodka soda, it's like 10 cents. Because they are so cheap when you buy it in bulk.
Bobby Bones
They're not buying.
Lunchbox
They're buying it wholesale.
Mike
Okay.
Lunchbox
It's not. They're not getting the markup. When you go to the store, they mark it up from what they buy it from wholesale.
Bobby Bones
No crap.
Amy
That's how it all works is like 50%.
Bobby Bones
In theory, he's right, but he's just using numbers he made up.
Eddie
Okay, so how much is wells. How much is a well bottle at the. At the liquor store? $15.
Amy
Well, according to Lunchbox's logic, it would be $2. Because they're paying a dollar, right?
Lunchbox
No, no, no. They mark it up.
Bobby Bones
Yes, we agree with that. No one's disagreeing with you. Not a single person. Disagreeing with you about what. What the business model is of a bar or a restaurant or a cruise ship.
Eddie
But he's so frustrated.
Lunchbox
Yes, because, Eddie, you act like I'm crazy. I know what I'm talking about.
Eddie
10 cents is crazy.
Lunchbox
Okay, so you think. You think a. A vodka soda, A well vodka soda at a bar cost them $4 to make?
Eddie
I would say about a dollar fifty, maybe. Yeah.
Lunchbox
Not even close.
Eddie
A dollar. And then they charge what, 10 bucks for it? Boom. Yeah, it's pretty good.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I agree with something like that. Not 10 cents.
Eddie
It's a dime, dude.
BetterHelp Narrator
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
All right. If you share a bed, you should each have your own blanket thoughts.
Amy
That's. Speaking of Lunchbox. That's what he does.
Bobby Bones
You guys have two covers.
Lunchbox
Lunchbox yeah, because my wife likes a heavy, like, blanket and I sweat. So I have a thin little blanket that I use.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
How much that cost?
Lunchbox
I think it's free.
Bobby Bones
10 cents.
Lunchbox
That was a giveaway.
Amy
Minuscule. I mean, I think it's smart. Like, is that where you're not tugging at each other?
Eddie
This is like the overnight. How does overnight meal work?
Bobby Bones
There's no way it can get from California to New York in a day and a half. Morgan, your story.
Amy
We are going to the moon, guys.
Bobby Bones
Who is we?
Amy
We America.
Bobby Bones
That's the next America is. We're going on a cruise to the moon.
Eddie
Dang.
Amy
NASA has canceled its plans for an orbiting lunar space station, and now they are building a permanent base on the surface of the moon over the next seven years. It's gonna cost 20 billion to do it.
Bobby Bones
Nah. But nobody has healthcare.
Amy
Yeah. Their point is that the goal is to enable humans to live on the lunar surface long term. Okay, cool.
Bobby Bones
Good for them.
Amy
Let's figure out how to live here first. Good.
Eddie
That's good, Amy. Really good. Let's figure this out first.
Amy
Yeah, let's figure out.
Bobby Bones
Earth Meta was ordered to pay 375 million bucks for knowingly harming children's mental health. A New Mexico jury handed down a verdict yesterday ordering meta to pay 375 and civil penalties after finding the company knowingly harmed children's mental health and concealed what it knew about child sexual exploitation on its platforms.
Amy
Oh, no.
Bobby Bones
You would think that'd be more than 375 million, huh? Yeah, because that's just a. That's a dime.
Eddie
Hey, to Meta, that is a dime. To Meta, that's a dime.
Bobby Bones
They get a whole bottle of, well, vodka that. After a nearly seven week trial in Santa Fe, jurors found that Meta, which owns Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, violated state consumer protection law by misleading the public about the safety of its apps. The case brought by New Mexico Attorney General Raul Torres in 2023 included testimony from Meta executives, whistleblowers, and school educators, along with evidence from an undercover investigation. It is the first jury verdict of its kind against Meta over harm to young people. From C. Cnbc. Thoughts?
Amy
Well, the Sexual exploitation. Is that what you called it?
Bobby Bones
Yeah, I'm sure. What I would assume is they present it to be a lot safer than it really is.
Amy
That part is. I don't like that at all.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, if anybody said they did like it, we'd probably ask them to leave. Yeah, but 375 doesn't affect meta at all. All right, everybody Else get their stories out. Everybody feel good?
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
You want to do a trivia for 10 bucks and take a break?
Amy
Okay.
Bobby Bones
All right. Remember, if you yell an answer, I'm not gonna speak. Okay?
Amy
I'm not.
Bobby Bones
Do you have a way to write it down?
Amy
I already thought about it five times yesterday.
Bobby Bones
Okay, here we go.
Amy
If we ever do it again, I'm not speaking.
Bobby Bones
Amy lost 10 bucks to me in a bet yesterday. She's gonna try to win it back right now. Here we go. Hello. Can you give me five random trivia questions, one at a time, and make the level 7 and a half or 8 out of 10?
Eddie
I thought you weren't going to say anything.
Trivia Host
All right, let's see what you've got. First question. In 1927, who became the first person to complete a solo non stop flight across the Atlantic Ocean?
Amy
You know the first person?
Trivia Host
You got it. That was Charles Lindbergh.
Lunchbox
What?
Bobby Bones
You can't talk?
Eddie
I forgot you said you weren't gonna talk.
Amy
But I had a. I had a. Do you. What do you have Charles Lindbergh?
Bobby Bones
Yes, Lindbergh.
Amy
Whatever. All I had is Amelia Earhart, but I knew it wasn't her because she's the first female I didn't remember the first person. And you went level.
Bobby Bones
I had Helen Keller.
Eddie
Kidding.
Amy
You went level. 8 to 10.
Bobby Bones
Okay, I'll do. I'll do less yesterday.
Amy
6 to 7.
Bobby Bones
Okay, if you talk, though, do 6
Amy
to 7 and I'll be quiet.
Bobby Bones
Okay. Okay, I'm going to go back to what we just did. I'm going to need five trivia questions, one at a time. Level six out of ten.
Trivia Host
Absolutely. Let's start fresh at a solid six out of ten. First question. What element is represented by the chemical symbol K?
Bobby Bones
Wait, does she only have seven? It's potassium. We did that yesterday. Can you give us more questions that we haven't done yet? Yeah.
Eddie
I get mad at her.
Trivia Host
Got it. No repeats. All fresh ones. Here's a new one. In Greek mythology, who is condemned to hold up the sky for eternity?
Eddie
Okay, do you remember if we asked.
Bobby Bones
We already did this one.
Amy
Hold on.
Eddie
Get mad at her.
Amy
Get mad at her.
Trivia Host
I hear you loud and clear. No repeats.
Amy
Promise.
Trivia Host
Let's try this. Which Renaissance artist painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel?
Eddie
Amy. No one's saying anything,
Amy
Mikey.
Bobby Bones
Okay, Amy's putting her answer down.
Amy
Can't freaking think right now.
Bobby Bones
Five seconds. We can whisper them.
Trivia Host
Huh?
Bobby Bones
Yeah. We can't hear whispers. Whisper. What do you have?
Amy
Michelangelo.
Eddie
Michelangelo, man, I guess you can't whisper.
Bobby Bones
Okay, next one, please.
Trivia Host
All right, here's the next one. Which US state is known as the land of 10,000 lakes?
Amy
What? I don't know.
Bobby Bones
Amy has. What do you have? What'd you write down?
Amy
Michigan. Michigan.
Bobby Bones
I have Minnesota.
Amy
Oh, you're probably right.
Bobby Bones
What's the answer?
Trivia Host
That would be Minnesota. Let me know when you're set and we'll roll into the next one.
Bobby Bones
I'm up 1 0. Next one, please.
Amy
I got the mitt. Right.
Trivia Host
Here we go. In what year did the Berlin Wall fall, marking a major symbolic end to the Cold War?
Bobby Bones
What do you have?
Amy
1989.
Bobby Bones
I have 88.
Amy
89.
Bobby Bones
Are you sure about it?
Amy
I'm sure.
Bobby Bones
That's good. What's the answer?
Trivia Host
The Berlin well fell in 1989. Ready for the fifth and final question?
Bobby Bones
How'd you know that?
Eddie
She was there.
Bobby Bones
Okay. She was there. Yes, please give us the. This is three out of five. Give us the third one.
Trivia Host
You've got it. Third one coming right up. What is the largest internal organ in the human body by mass?
Bobby Bones
Okay, you already gave us that one. It's the kidney.
Amy
It's the liver.
Bobby Bones
Oh, it's the liver. Sorry.
Trivia Host
You've got it. It's the liver. Now let's make sure the next one is truly new. When you're ready. Walk you guy.
Bobby Bones
Okay, we have three. Three more. Three more. Go. Two more. Two more. Go.
Trivia Host
All right, here's the next one. What is the capital city of Argentina?
Amy
Uruguay.
Bobby Bones
Amen.
Amy
Wait. Hold on. Why don't. I can't. Montevideo, Uruguay.
Bobby Bones
I'm not for sure about this.
Amy
Bolivia, Argentina. La.
Bobby Bones
Have an answer.
Amy
I have a song. I sing. Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Trivia Host
That's Buenos Aires now.
Bobby Bones
Is that what you had?
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Let me see.
Trivia Host
It sounds like you nailed that one. Let's wrap it up with the last trivia question. Whenever you're ready.
Bobby Bones
This last one?
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
All right, one more.
Mike
Go ahead.
Trivia Host
Here we go with the final one. Which famous novel opens with the line, call me Ishmael?
Amy
Oh, call me. Oh, oh,
Bobby Bones
I'm in.
Amy
I'm in.
Bobby Bones
What do you have?
Amy
Moby Dick.
Bobby Bones
Moby Dick.
Mike
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Moby Dick.
Trivia Host
You've got it. Moby Dick it is. Nicely done on all five. If you ever want another round, just say the word.
Bobby Bones
Give us another one, please. We're Sudden Death.
Trivia Host
Sudden death. I love it. All right, one more. Who painted the Persistence of Memory, featuring melting clocks?
Bobby Bones
What?
Mike
Oh.
Amy
Did you see this at the Louvre?
Bobby Bones
Why are you talking.
Amy
We're in.
Bobby Bones
You know who it is?
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
I put Van Gogh cut his Ear off.
Eddie
Yeah. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Is it Van Gogh?
Eddie
No.
Trivia Host
Yes, it is. Salvador Dali. You've come.
Bobby Bones
Salvador Dali.
Eddie
Man, she's having a bad day today.
Trivia Host
Ever want to face off with trivia again or anything?
Bobby Bones
I don't even believe any brother answers either.
Amy
Okay, wait, who's the. Tell me again, who held up the sky?
Bobby Bones
Did you get Atlas?
Amy
Atlas?
Bobby Bones
Did you guys know Salvador Dali?
Amy
Yeah, Caitlyn did.
Trivia Host
Dang.
Bobby Bones
Good job. How'd you know that? Just smart.
Eddie
She went to school, she listened.
Bobby Bones
Is that what she said? I went to school.
Amy
That's what she said.
Bobby Bones
How did you know that I went to school. I guess we tied on that one.
Amy
Yeah, you can keep the 10.
Bobby Bones
All right, good deal.
Mike
Hey, Bobby, first and foremost, congratulations. Being a girl dad is amazing. Can't wait to see a couple years from now posting some Daddy daughter dance pics because it's the greatest thing ever. Secondly, I'm just kind of curious. On your way to the hospital, did Caitlyn run you by McDonald's? Was chick fil a open? Like, what was your breakfast request when she was driving you or. Or how'd that go? Just curious.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Glad you asked.
Amy
It's funny.
Eddie
Here we go.
Bobby Bones
I drove, and we went straight to the hospital.
Eddie
Uhhuh.
Bobby Bones
What he's referring to is Eddie had his wife drive him as she was going into labor.
Eddie
Correct.
Bobby Bones
So she's driving, and then Eddie requested she pull over and go to McDonald's on the way to give birth to the baby.
Eddie
We hadn't had breakfast yet, so she was.
Bobby Bones
She was in labor.
Eddie
Well, the thing is, we were doing C sections, and this is our second child and our first kid. It was scheduled. We went in, no problem. So she had no idea what. What are they called?
Bobby Bones
Contractions.
Eddie
Contractions were. So when she said, I think these are contractions, I'm like, they're probably not. Let's just stop and get breakfast.
Bobby Bones
But let's just stop while you drive.
Eddie
We had already gone to the hospital four times.
Danielle Fishel
False alarms.
Bobby Bones
Isn't that a thing, though, that you just do regardless. Every time.
Eddie
Yes, yes.
Bobby Bones
And we.
Amy
Yeah, like it's worth it.
Bobby Bones
We went to dinner, and I asked her specifically. I was like, hey, this story's been told so many times on the air this way, and it's how we tell it is exactly true, not how Eddie's tried to reverse course on it.
Eddie
Well, you know, there are two sides to every story.
Bobby Bones
No, this one, I don't think. No, I think she did drive Eddie.
Amy
You even tried to say sometimes was. Was. I think I Was driving. She wasn't driving. And it's like, no, no, she was driving.
Bobby Bones
All right, next voicemail.
Mike
I know you're a big Razorback fan, such as myself, what are you gonna do when your daughter gets older and she wants to go to Texas or one of the other SEC schools? Are you still gonna support her and every. I mean, I know you're gonna support her, but are you gonna affiliate yourself with that school instead? Thank you.
Bobby Bones
No, wait.
Amy
What?
Bobby Bones
She will only.
Eddie
I like it.
Bobby Bones
Go to Arkansas with a very, very, very outside chance of Oklahoma. But I'm really trying to stomp that out immediately. My wife, massive Oklahoma fan. From Oklahoma. It's Arkansas or bust or go to work.
Amy
So why do you get the why? Why is Arkansas percentage higher than Oklahoma?
Bobby Bones
Because I love the University of Arkansas more than my wife loves the University of Oklahoma, and I think that matters to me more.
Amy
What if. Let's just say outside chance she wants to go to Texas A and M.
Bobby Bones
I don't mind Texas A that much. I'll be honest with you.
Eddie
Really? You pay for that?
Amy
Yeah. Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Well, she'll have a scholarship and Amy will. Yeah. I don't. Yeah. If we were to, like to rate the schools. No chance she goes to Texas. Zero.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
I quit.
Amy
You quit parenting?
Bobby Bones
Yep.
Eddie
I rip up the birth certificate, you're on your own.
Bobby Bones
No chance. Texas A and M. You know what? I don't mind.
Amy
Okay. Because what if she wants to be a vet? A veterinarian?
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Good. Good for her. Tennessee. She ain't going. She's not going to go to Knoxville. These are just like rivals.
Amy
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Bobby Bones
So, yeah. Like Auburn. Okay.
Eddie
What about Alabama?
Amy
Probably not.
Bobby Bones
Probably not. Lsu? No, thank you. Yeah, but it's Arkansas, by the way. If you guys want to leave us a voicemail, you can call 877-77-BOBBY. That's our number. Leave the voicemail. You can also get through on the show, but if it's any other time and you have a question or comment. 87777, Bobby Bones. I got a message from Mike's wife. Ask Mike how it felt whenever he told me he met Billy. Your baby? Without me?
Mike
Yeah. She's obsessed and wanted to meet her first. Or together, I guess.
Bobby Bones
And, well, you didn't have any control. My wife just walked down with the baby. Yeah.
Mike
What was I going to do?
Lunchbox
Close my eyes, run out of the room?
Eddie
I can't meet you, baby.
Bobby Bones
I'm not allowed to meet you. What did you tell your wife?
Mike
I came home immediately and said I got to Confess something. I met her before you.
Lunchbox
Oh.
Bobby Bones
Had you guys already spoken that you were going to do it together?
Mike
No, she just thought maybe that would happen. And then I was like, I had no choice. Baby came in, met the baby.
Bobby Bones
What did she say?
Mike
She was jealous.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Okay, well, she said, ask Mike. So I asked him.
Eddie
My wife's a little jealous too.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. Cuz you guys were coming over together. You guys had already reached out about.
Eddie
I know her. And I was like, Mike, where I said, you know, I had no control. Baby came in. It was awesome.
Bobby Bones
Baby came in with Caitlyn.
Eddie
With Caitlyn? Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. What are you gonna say?
Amy
I'm good. Nobody's jealous.
Eddie
Oh, you're all good.
Bobby Bones
Eddie was asking me, though, like, who's gonna be the baby's godfather?
Eddie
I hadn't thought about that.
Amy
Well, not everybody has godmoms or godmothers and godfathers.
Eddie
I don't know about that either. Is that just a Catholic thing? Because I have godfathers.
Amy
But from. But do your kids.
Eddie
No.
Amy
See, yeah, I don't think. Because we're not Catholic.
Eddie
But here's the deal. I can be your baby's godfather if you want to be one of my baby's godfather. And I really don't even know what we.
Bobby Bones
Trading baseball cards.
Eddie
Like, what's. What's the duty? What's the.
Lunchbox
Dude.
Eddie
Because I had godfather. If you guys die, then we take the baby.
Bobby Bones
Isn't that what a godfather is?
Amy
I want to be the godmother.
Bobby Bones
Well, that can't be because Amy wants money. She wants the baby.
Amy
No, I said that after you said we get the baby.
Bobby Bones
But the baby may not be a baby. But it may be. She may be 11.
Eddie
Right?
Amy
I can handle 11 year olds.
Bobby Bones
We don't have a godfather.
Eddie
Y' all should think about it.
Amy
No, you'd put it in your will. But you don't have to put it like that. But it would probably be like Caitlin's sister.
Bobby Bones
But isn't that what I. I may be wrong. What a godfather is because we're not Catholic. So if that's mainly a Catholic thing, does the godfather get the kid? And do the godfather and godmother have to be together? Because you can't split up the kids.
Amy
It must not be, because I know people that aren't married that have that. Where the godmother's one person and the godfather's completely unrelated. But, like, you're there at the baptism, you're there at different phases of life. You help guide them and they call just family.
Eddie
No, but they're designated, specific, designated people for that.
Bobby Bones
You're like, but don't they get them if you die? Is that not the thing?
Mike
Yeah, that's supposed to be the thing. I had godparents. They got divorced, so I don't have godparents anymore.
Bobby Bones
Because you can't go to both of them. And also, you're an adult.
Mike
Exactly.
Eddie
Hey, let me tell you, I've had a. Like, our will to. When we die, who gets our kids. That person has changed, like, three times.
Bobby Bones
You keep changing it.
Eddie
Oh, yeah. Just different actions make us change it. You're like, oh, like, do we really want our kids to go there? Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Have I ever been that person?
Eddie
No, not yet.
Bobby Bones
No. I'm not trading it. I'm not.
Eddie
I'm not. We're not yet.
Bobby Bones
I haven't talked to my wife about that. We're not gonna have that.
Amy
You want four kids, four boys, four crazy.
Bobby Bones
No, I'm not talking about yours. I'm talking about mine. Like, I don't know that we're gonna have a. But do you put that in a will? Like, if you die, who gets it?
Eddie
Yes, absolutely.
Bobby Bones
You're supposed to raise your kids. Yes. And then do you have to go to them and go, is it okay? Or do you just do a surprise?
Amy
No.
Bobby Bones
When it's like, okay, let's read the will.
Eddie
Well, here's the deal. The first time, the first people we picked, we asked them, and then after they got booted, we never told them they're booted. I guess they'll find out when we die.
Amy
Yeah, It'll be in the will.
Bobby Bones
Oh, dang.
Amy
Yeah, you need to. You. You do. You need to add that.
Bobby Bones
Okay.
Amy
You got to figure that out.
Bobby Bones
I'm making a note. Made a note.
Eddie
Just remember who's always good family over there.
Bobby Bones
You got a lot of kids, and she may not be a baby.
Amy
Yeah. Remember who adopted older children.
Eddie
Remember who adopted? Well, yeah, younger. Come on, man, let's do it.
Bobby Bones
I hear you. I hear you.
Amy
Who took in children that are not her own and loves them just the same.
Eddie
Us. Both of us.
Bobby Bones
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Both of you.
Eddie
Both of us.
Bobby Bones
That's true. Eddie had asked if I was going
Amy
to post who can provide our baby's face?
Bobby Bones
We're not posting a baby's face now. I don't know if we will or we won't, but we're not doing it now for sure. People are just so nasty to me on social media, and I don't do anything to them, so why would I post the baby's? Face. If my wife is not, like, post the baby's face.
Eddie
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Because my wife gives no craps about social media. She, before we had the baby, she might have posted once every six months. And so she's like, I don't need that, like the positivity from social media. So why would I want that when it can only be negative for me? And I was like, fully agree. Now that doesn't mean we won't. We haven't like set a hard and fast rule, but. But as of right now, we. We have not and we aren't. So that's what's up.
Eddie
Yeah. I was just wondering. Parents have different rules when it comes to that, you know, like some parents are like, yeah, no problem. Other parents like, no, we're not doing that.
Bobby Bones
And ours just like your families that get your kids, ours may change.
Eddie
Yes.
Bobby Bones
But right now I think it's just better for her because for me, dude, I would have filmed the birth and
Eddie
put it live stream.
Bobby Bones
I'd have live streamed the birth.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
So for me it's not a thing. But also it's like, I get it and I respect what she wishes. And also I understand why, because again, people are awful to me online. So why would I even open that door to somebody saying something about our baby and it making my wife upset?
Eddie
Yeah. You know, when we decided not to do it, my wife, it was my, it was first my wife's request to not do it. And I was like, you to be like, oh, I don't, I don't. Why not? What's the problem? Like, no one's going to do anything. But then now that we're on the other side of it and I have like an 18 year old who's about to just do whatever he wants to do, I'm kind of like, I'm glad that we stuck to our guns and just kept doing it the way that we wanted to do it, which is not show their face. I'm happy. I'm happy with the choice versus like showing their faces and then maybe something bad happening or, I don't know, them getting made fun of or whatever. Them see comments and not feel good about it. Like, I feel good about it.
Bobby Bones
Amy, you showed your kids faces.
Amy
Yeah.
Bobby Bones
Thoughts?
Amy
I think it's worked. It's been okay for us, but I totally understand people that don't. And it was too late for me at that point. And now my kids are older. If they're online, I have their permission now. And I guess in their earlier days, I didn't So I regret that. Like, I feel like I should have been more responsible with that. And now they have that option. Like sometimes if you're not seeing one of my kids for a certain amount of time, like, it's because they don't want to. I don't ever pressure them by any means.
Bobby Bones
Well, I asked our baby, do you want to be on social media? I don't know what that means.
Amy
Is that a guess?
Bobby Bones
I don't know.
Eddie
Yeah, I can't tell.
Bobby Bones
I don't know what that means.
Amy
I think everybody has to. Yeah, I've regretted it at times, but then I can't beat myself up over it or think that I'm a bad parent.
Bobby Bones
I would oppose it to face immediately.
Eddie
For sure. I would have, like you said, live
Lunchbox
stream at the birth.
Bobby Bones
Yeah. So again, we'll figure it out as we go. Speaking of kids, Lunchbox didn't let these kids do March Madness bracket.
Eddie
So stupid.
Bobby Bones
Do they often do lunchboxes bracket?
Eddie
One of them has done it the last three years. And then finally my 11 year old or 12 year old wanted to do it, so he jumped in, filled out a bracket. They both filled out brackets. But then come the first, like 11, whatever, 11 o' clock on last Thursday, they go to check their brackets and nothing's up. They're like, oh, our brackets aren't up there. So I text Lunchbox. He's like, yeah, they didn't pay on time. So we didn't. They don't have a bracket.
Bobby Bones
Okay, I completely understand and agree.
Lunchbox
Why, thank you.
Eddie
They're. They're good for it. Like, we're going to pay you and they don't have, like, bank accounts.
Bobby Bones
You do.
Eddie
I just thought that was a little unfair.
Bobby Bones
Is the rule if you don't pay in time, you don't. Okay. Is it specifically against Eddie's kids?
Lunchbox
No. If you don't pay, my tip off, it's that you're out. Because then if you drop to last place, you have no incentive to pay.
Eddie
I would teach that to them, like, hey, guys, you're in last place.
Lunchbox
Well, they don't know if you paid or not. They have no idea.
Eddie
What do you mean? It's coming out of their money. And plus, like, well, yeah, they may
Lunchbox
pay you, but you don't have to pay me. They have no idea if you paid. So it's really your responsibility to pay. If they don't have bank accounts, you should have made sure this is a lesson in life for you that you need to go back to your kids and say, hey, I'm the one that screwed up. Not. Not you guys. I. It was on me.
Bobby Bones
Take a lesson from Lunchbox.
Eddie
So now I. Yeah, it's. It's the lesson. Okay. I think it's so dumb.
Bobby Bones
But also, if you don't pay, I can see if. If it's for everybody, adults and kids.
Eddie
I've been doing this for I don't know how many years with him and his family, and I've always been able to pay later.
Bobby Bones
I. Oh, you know who doesn't pay though?
Eddie
Him.
Lunchbox
Correct. Wrong. When I enter a contest, I pay.
Bobby Bones
But you don't pay people when they win stuff. You don't pay people all the time.
Lunchbox
I pay people all the time when they win contests.
Bobby Bones
Three months late. Both Ray and Eddie have had problems with your payback.
Eddie
Yeah, I won one of your, you know, golf tournament things or whatever, and it took me, like a month.
Lunchbox
You're wrong. It wasn't my golf tournament thing. And that's another thing. I wasn't in charge of it. Eddie got into it because it was my friend. And then Eddie expects me, like, it's my responsibility. That's not me again.
Eddie
Well, maybe that's a lesson for you to not get involved with those kinds of friends.
Bobby Bones
Oh, Dan. We're teaching lessons.
Eddie
There we go.
Bobby Bones
Stupid lessons.
Amy
And.
Lunchbox
And also, I paid Eddie. He did not check his Venmo. And then when he went to his Venmo, he's like, oh, he did pay me. That's my fault.
Bobby Bones
What about Ray? When he didn't pay Ray, about what? I don't know.
Eddie
Some sore losers thing.
Bobby Bones
Right?
Eddie
Yeah.
Lunchbox
Oh, I just forgot.
Eddie
There you go.
Bobby Bones
There you have it.
Eddie
Lesson.
Lunchbox
But it wasn't a contest. That wasn't like a pay to win.
Bobby Bones
All right, there you go. Thank you guys for listening to the podcast today. Go. And I don't know, have a good day.
