Investigators searching for Nancy Guthrie are probing a possible incident at the 84 year old's home in Arizona weeks before she was kidnapped. The sheriff Chris Nano, who has faced mounting backlash over the fruitless 52 day search, said authorities had zeroed in on an evening three weeks before the 84 year old was confirmed missing. Quote, we do believe that something occurred January 11th and that's with the FBI's analysis of the equipment and digital stuff they've done. That's a statement. Digital stuff they've done stuff. They're using the word stuff.

That's crazy.

Nanoz who is leading the probe refused to expand on what evidence had led led investigators to that evening. In particular, Guthrie is believed to have been snatched from her Tucson home during the early hours of February 1st. It's the seventh week of the search.

No, they won't because they haven't like use the evidence the most they possibly could.

They're doing things with it.

Oh yeah. Seventh week I saw that. She may go back to work in a couple weeks.

I guess she has returned but only temporarily.

Boy, I don't know who to blame there. Those cops, are they not doing a good job? The FBI got called in. They couldn't do anything right.

Could it just be really good criminal?

No, probably not. I don't think it was that thought out. I don't think it was some like high end kidnapper looking for a massive ransom.

Like so it was a rant like they had no idea they were Kidnapping or taking or snatching. That's snatching a famous person's mom.

I don't think that. I think it was a burglary.

Yeah.

And then, you know, they're like, who's out there? Oh, crap.

Yeah. Like, let's get her out. She sees us. Yeah, I don't know.

It's weird because, like, nowadays I feel like no one can get away with any kind of crime with DNA, with cameras everywhere, with all the technology that we have. Like, I feel like it'd be so hard to get away with a crime. And the fact that this has gone on so long, so long is bizarre.

[Bobby Bones]

If I were to be able to have a time machine and go back, I wouldn't be committing crimes. But, man, what I think about it,

[Eddie]

do whatever you want.

[Bobby Bones]

You just murder and drive across state line.

[Amy]

What? What do you mean? Man, you would think about it.

I wouldn't, but I'd be like, dang, that person made me mad. I could probably get away with this.

If people back then, to Bobby's point, knew that they can get away with it so easily, they would do more. There would be way more crimes.

[Amy]

Interesting. Freaking. I don't just.

I'm not like those murderers. Serial killers would just kill and move states. They'd never catch them.

[Eddie]

Yeah, Ted Bundy would. It took him forever to catch him.

[Bobby Bones]

You're kidding. Well, so Zendaya has a new movie coming out in theaters next week called the Drama, and they're in it. She can. This is not a. I'm not spoiling anything. I don't think in it.

You haven't seen the movie?

No, it's not even out. Okay, so in. In it, she's getting married, and she confesses to her fiance that she once plotted a school shooting, but she chickened out. And it's a rom com, but it's got a dark side to it. And so now a father whose son was in Columbine, like, his son died at that school shooting, is, like, really upset. Like, why do we need to intertwine? Why does Hollywood feel the need to put that into a storyline for a rom com or any movie for that matter? And he just feels like it's completely inappropriate. And I, I guess, I mean, I'm thinking about it too and I'm like, yeah, why? Why make that part of a storyline? To put it in more people's heads.

Is it a book?

No, it's not a book.

[Bobby Bones]

It is put in people's heads. There are like 10,000 school shootings a year.

[Amy]

I know, but like, like it's, it

exists at such a level now I can look it up.

So it's an.

That it's not like it happened once and it was this one tragedy. It happens all the time. But also to talk about things, even a way like that does bring awareness to things as well. Like.

Oh, like maybe someone who's considering it would be like, Zendaya chickened out too. I should chicken out.

[Eddie]

It says the fact it's a rom com is weird.

[Amy]

Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, it's the. Are in this movie together. It's being marketed as a fun wedding flick, but a dark plot twist is shocking the heck out of early unsuspecting viewers. And the news has spread and then. Oh, shoot. It says warning, major spoilers.

[Eddie]

Oh no.

[Mike]

But it became a news story.

[Bobby Bones]

I saw it in the news. But the thing is then you couldn't make any story lines about shootings or robberies or.

[Amy]

Oh, that's true.

[Bobby Bones]

Anything.

With the same. Listen, nobody thinks that school shootings are good. Everybody knows they're extremely tragic or domestic

violence like that know.

[Eddie]

I mean they're not going to show anything though, are they? Cuz like I feel like if you saw.

We don't know. You're asking a question we don't know the answer to and I don't think he.

Well, she didn't go through with it. She's just saying I had once plotted a school shooting and I didn't do it.

[Eddie]

But she was, you know, and there's

probably a lot of kids that think about that because it happens so often. But again, you couldn't rob a bank in a movie. You couldn't have a murder in a movie. You couldn't send people to war in a movie if you're using this same kind of logic because people die doing that stuff tragically.

That's all. I haven't seen the movie.

It's not out yet. Yeah, and ignore everything I said about

It, I saw that in the news article.

Yeah, it's a big story. So that's why I was bringing it up. Just curious your thoughts. But I, I immediately was felt for that father and was like, oh, yeah, it makes a good point. But then now I'm hearing you and I'm like, oh, that's a really good point too. There's a lot of things in shows that are.

People have. People go through sexual assault in shows.

[Amy]

Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everything valid. Yeah.

And so anybody that's been through it could be triggered by it. It should be triggered by it. And I understand why they would be triggered, but I know you can't totally clean everything off of everything. If so, then nothing happens and it's all, hey, toodles. You guys know Toodles?

A mass shooting in America, by the way, a mass shooting is four more people shot, injured or killed. 500 plus incidents. 20, 24, 600 plus incidents. Yeah. So it's it.

I'm surprised Hollywood hasn't made a movie about that yet.

They have school shooting?

[Bobby Bones]

I, I would assume.

Yeah, I've seen many.

Oh, they have. I haven't heard of any.

Yeah, I, I, I don't know any offhand, but I would assume that they've made more than a few.

They made one back in the day called Elephant that was about Columbine and

Oh, there was an episode of SWAT about a school shooting. Just realized there was. Yeah. I watched SWAT with my son and it just occurred to me that. Yeah.

Am I thinking of the Mark Ruffalo show?

[Eddie]

No, that's, that's a task.

[Bobby Bones]

What is another four letter word.

[Eddie]

But SWAT is a CBS show.

[Amy]

SWAT's like a. Yeah, it's like a. Yes. CVS. One of those. Like one that's good to watch with your kids.

[Eddie]

Yeah.

[Amy]

Except for that one. I was sort of like, oh, Stevenson. I didn't want him to like, freak out going to school the next day. But they ended up. Yeah, that was tragic. They were covering it, but it's like. Yeah, they're those types of shows cover real life things that happen.

[Bobby Bones]

Oh, Toodles. One Goofy was hanging out of a hot air balloon. He's about to fall, and, like, I guess he can die, but people have died in hot air balloons.

[Eddie]

Yes, they have.

[Bobby Bones]

So he's about to fall, and he called for Toodles. Mickey called for toodles. And Toodles is a drone that's shaped like Mickey's head and went up and saved him.

[Eddie]

And then doesn't Toodles have, like, an option? Like, what do we need to save Goofy? Do we need a rope?

[Bobby Bones]

Oh, yeah.

Oh, this just popped in my head. Since we're talking about TV and what's appropriate, what not. And speaking of swat, this is another thing. It's a show I watch with my son. And why they wrote this into the storyline, I don't know. But one of the agents or one of the members of swat, she is bisexual and has met another girl, and she started going out with her. And then the girl's like, I have to confess, I'm married and we're looking for a third. And I'm like, what? Wow. CB like, 7:00pm family TV time. Like, why are we introducing now? And she's like, well, oh, that's weird. I don't really know that I'm into that. And then she consults some of her SWAT team members, and they're like, maybe you should give it a try. And I'm like, what? So now she's a throuple. And I'm like, what does this have to do with swat? Like, why? Why?

Eddie and I make a note to

watch the show swat and what time is it?

My son's like, wait, what's happening, Mom? And I'm like, oh, my gosh, we don't need it. Like, we're too young for these conversations.

I didn't think it was a thruffle. I thought it was just, like, inviting her over for.

No, no, no. They were looking for a legit third partner. Like, not just a random, messy it. I just was like, this does not seem like SWAT material.

That's really why I watch sports. Sports is the only thing I can have on the house, like, at all

Yeah. This woman, her name is Donna Motzinger. Back in 1972, she went to a Bill Cosby comedy show, said, oh, he gave her a bottle, a glass of wine, a pill, unconscious. He allegedly sexually assaulted her. She sued him in civil court, and she won $19 million.

I wonder if she's going to get it. Like, does he have that money anymore? Because you can win for a billion dollars, it doesn't mean you're going to get it. Because if there's not money there, you don't get the money. The government doesn't give you the money. The person's supposed to. Like, OJ's people never got paid until maybe way, way, way later.

Man, that dude got away with that for decades. Yeah, like Dirty Dog dude and like, living the life of Mr. Clean Clean Comic, like, being judgmental towards other comics for doing blue material. And then the whole time, this is what's been happening with him. And how it even became a story is crazy. Another comic was doing jokes about it, and that's how it became a story. That's how the whole thing blew up.

Like, no one's going to do anything. But then now that we're on the other side of it and I have like an 18 year old who's about to just do whatever he wants to do, I'm kind of like, I'm glad that we stuck to our guns and just kept doing it the way that we wanted to do it, which is not show their face. I'm happy. I'm happy with the choice versus like showing their faces and then maybe something bad happening or, I don't know, them getting made fun of or whatever. Them see comments and not feel good about it. Like, I feel good about it.
