It's listener Q and A time, where.
Show Announcer
Morgan and a show member answer almost all your questions.
Morgan
It is time for some listener questions. And if you hear a crazy noise, apparently there's now construction in our building again.
Eddie
Oh, my nose.
Morgan
And as you heard, Eddie's joining me. What's up, Eddie?
Eddie
What's up? It's not me. I don't have the drill. Somebody else does upstairs.
Morgan
You would have a drill, though. You like to carry your drill in.
Eddie
I do. I got a drill. Not on me, though. Like, that's at home. Unless we're building chairs.
Morgan
Yeah, unless it gets brought in for a segment. You know what's funny, though, now?
Eddie
What?
Morgan
I don't have to build anything.
Eddie
Oh. Cause you have a boyfriend. You have a man to build everything.
Morgan
It's so nice, Eddie.
Eddie
Yeah, I bet it is. That's what I need. I need a boyfriend. Build all my stuff at home.
Morgan
Please do this for me. I can literally be like, hey, I would really like this built. He's like, okay, I got you. I'm like, yeah, it's so cool.
Eddie
So my wife wants us to build, like, these. She bought these shelves.
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
Like, shelves they just put in the wall. So.
Morgan
Yeah. Like, little floating shelves.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah, yeah. So can you come over and put those up?
Morgan
Yeah. He loves hanging, so.
Eddie
Okay. Love it.
Morgan
He loves doing things.
Eddie
I still haven't met your dude.
Morgan
I know.
Eddie
I mean, I saw him from a distance at CMA Fest.
Morgan
Yes.
Eddie
But I've never met him.
Morgan
I know. You guys do need to meet him.
Eddie
Does he. Does he hate us? Does he hates us?
Morgan
No. He talked about on the podcast. He was like, I. He's like, that's their job. Like, they can talk about.
Eddie
Yeah, man. Thank you. It's our job.
Morgan
I told you. He's very chill. You very much like him. He's very unaffected by a lot of things.
Eddie
Okay, good.
Morgan
My two favorites. We're starting with shout outs. My two faves. You and Eddie have the best podcast episodes. That's from Megan in New York. We've got Ruby from Bakersfield. Favorite duo. Not a question. I think you're amazing. Tell Eddie hi. And go Cowboys. That's from Stephanie.
Eddie
Cowboy stuff.
Morgan
Got his cowboy hat on right now. Always love hearing Eddie's life updates. That's from Emily in Cleveland.
Eddie
Cool.
Morgan
You feel shouted out and loved.
Eddie
Yeah, those are great shout outs.
Morgan
Good. That's always the goal.
Eddie
Feel great after this.
Morgan
Will you ever share a picture of your whole family? If not, why that's from Carolyn in Austin and Nikki in Florida.
Eddie
The whole family?
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
I'll start with my wife. My wife does not like to be photographed. Like, not even posted photographed. It's just she's always been like that. Like there. I would say there are probably 20 pictures in total of her. Really?
Morgan
From your entire.
Eddie
Yeah. There's some family she's getting. She's gotten better now. Like, to take family photos.
Morgan
I was gonna say, have you guys gotten family photos taken?
Eddie
Yeah, yeah. But, like, not like a picture of her. No way. She's like, nope, don't take it, don't want it. I'm like, hey, do you want a picture of this? Like, nope, don't want it. So she doesn't like pictures. And then the boys, like, it's just not. It's not like they're not asked to. They haven't asked to, like, be on social media. They don't know what that's like, you know, they don't. They don't really. I'm sure if I asked them, they'd be like, cool, yeah, let's do it. But I don't know. I feel like it's our responsibility to just protect them from all that. And then when they turn 18, which my son's almost there, he'll. He'll probably start posting himself up there.
Morgan
I was gonna say, Once he turns 18, will you share any pictures of.
Eddie
Him if he wants?
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
I feel like it's just up to him.
Morgan
Yeah. You know that for their.
Eddie
Yeah. Yeah. But if I asked my 6 year old, he'd be like, let's go take a picture of me. But I'm like, no, you don't. You don't want that.
Morgan
He doesn't know what that means and what that comes with.
Eddie
Correct.
Morgan
Until later in his life.
Eddie
And honestly, if, like, I took pictures of my family and then people said bad things, like, it would really piss me off. Like, I don't want that. Like, yeah, because you know people. You know, people always say stuff.
Morgan
Mm.
Eddie
And like, I don't want to.
Morgan
Best intention people say things that it's gonna irk you because they're people you deeply care about.
Eddie
Yeah. Yeah. These are. This is my life. They're my life.
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
So, like, that's just the reason. Like, I feel like it's our responsibility to, like, keep them from all that. And when they're older, they'll probably have their own social media platforms and they can do whatever they want.
Morgan
Isn't me crazy? The day that they're all on your social Media because they're all old enough.
Eddie
Yeah, that's gonna be crazy.
Morgan
That's years from now.
Eddie
You and people don't understand how many things happen in my life where I want to be like, oh my gosh, I wish I can post this. Like, everyone would love this. They would get an idea of, like, what my life is like or, like what their personalities are like, which they're all just so hilarious and different in many ways that I would love. There would be nothing more in the world that I would love than to share them on my social media. But, like, it's just not worth it.
Morgan
Have you ever thought about. There's always people that do. Like, you'll see teachers do videos in classrooms and they just have it on them, but you're getting the whole room of what's happening. Have you thought about that?
Eddie
I've done stuff like that. It's just. It doesn't translate.
Morgan
Yeah, it's harder.
Eddie
Like there is there the way they wrestle upstairs and how loud it is and the things that they're saying is so funny. I've tried to record a video of just like my face listening to them, but it just doesn't translate.
Morgan
Yeah, not the same.
Eddie
You need to see it. Like, you need to see what they're doing. And it's. They're, they're animals. Like, they're animals. And like, if people saw the way they wrestled and the way they threw each other and like, the way the things that they're saying while they're doing it, it'd be hilarious.
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
Especially my 6 year old. My 6 year old would be social media gold. Everything he does would be social media gold.
Morgan
I mean, you could always ask him and do like, what's that kid that's like the biggest YouTuber.
Eddie
Ryan. Yeah, the Ryan's toys that were talking about.
Morgan
So, like, you could set him aside, create his own bank account. It all goes to him.
Eddie
Yeah. You know, he would do it. He would 100% do it. But now we're just, we just, we just don't do it.
Morgan
That's fair.
Eddie
It's better for them.
Morgan
As somebody who's on social media, I get it.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
I respect anybody's choice of social media because it's a monster all on its own.
Eddie
And it's challenging though, too, because people love to be like, where's your family? They're taking the picture. Like, yeah, you know, like, I get it all the time. I'm like, where's your wife? She's actually right next to me, just not in the Picture, you know, but like, people don't understand that. It really looks like I live a single life.
Morgan
But you also. Everybody has to do what feels good to them.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
Because if you're doing things that don't feel good to you, then it's also not going to come across good. Right. Like you. You have to, at the end of the day, be okay with what you're doing.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
And that's your choice.
Eddie
Yeah. And I'm very okay with what we're doing.
Morgan
Exactly.
Eddie
And even, like the cooking videos, like, my. My kids shoot those. All of them. They all shoot the cooking videos.
Morgan
I love that.
Eddie
So, like, even the six year old, he'll be like, all right, just hold it here. Like. Yeah, don't move it just whatever. You don't move. And he'll.
Morgan
It's a family affair.
Eddie
It really is.
Morgan
Don't see him.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah. They're all behind the scenes.
Morgan
See, there you go. Now people will know when they're seeing.
Eddie
The content if it's a little crooked, you know who shot that one?
Morgan
Don't put that on. Then that's probably yours. What is the best thing you've cooked on your Blackstone? My hubby needs some inspiration. That's from J. Oh, gosh.
Eddie
There's so many good things that I've cooked on the Blackstone, man. That's a good question, I think. Oh, gosh, that's such a good question. Guys. It's endless. The things you can cook on the Blackstone is so endless.
Morgan
It's like, you gotta narrow it down. Give me your top three.
Eddie
You cook, right?
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
Okay, so like, you have a. You cook on the stovetop.
Morgan
Yep.
Eddie
You have a saucepan. Yeah, like that. You cook stuff in. Imagine one the size of this table and you can put whatever on it.
Morgan
It is true. You have a lot of opportunities for adventure.
Eddie
That's the Blackstone. It's freaking anything. Anything. A pizza.
Morgan
But what's your favorite to cook on it? Like, what always tastes really good when you cook it on the backstone?
Eddie
Okay. My favorite is a hibachi. That's my favorite because the Blackstone is like. You're at Hibachi. Like you're at one of those restaurants.
Morgan
Do you try and do the tricks?
Eddie
No, I've tried, but I'm not good, man. I really want to know how to do the volcano on.
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
I just don't know what they put in there. Please. If anyone knows, please hit me up DMs or hit Morgan up.
Morgan
I mean, it's an onion.
Eddie
What's in there to make it get on fire.
Morgan
I mean, I'm pretty sure, like, what's the stuff that you put on a fire to make it light?
Eddie
You're gonna put charcoal lighter in there and then eat the onion.
Morgan
I bet there's a food version of that. I would bet there's a food grade version of that.
Eddie
I think there is. I haven't gone down that road to, like, order it on Amazon.
Morgan
I'm gonna start doing some research while you're talking about your favorite Blackstone thing.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah. I would go hibachi. Hibachi. You got like, ch. Steak shrimp with the mixed vegetables in it. And then fried rice. Oh, man. Fried rice is just so good to make on that.
Morgan
Oh, yeah, that sounds good. Okay. Oh, it's pouring cooking oil inside the onion stock to act as fuel.
Eddie
That's not a problem.
Morgan
And then squirting a high alcohol liquor, like vodka on the top of the oil to ignite it.
Eddie
Okay. That's what it is. That's what I'm missing.
Morgan
But then does that mean your kids can't eat it because it has vodka?
Eddie
No, a lot of stuff. A lot of stuff has. You can. You can do, like, drunken beer, chicken. You can do. You can do rum marinated whatever. Whiskey marinated, whatever.
Morgan
When you cook it, it all just.
Eddie
Evaporates out of there. Yeah, I've thought about that.
Morgan
Well, there you go. Vodka.
Eddie
I'm doing that.
Morgan
So you just do oil.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
And vodka or. It says cheap vodka.
Eddie
We got a cheap vodka. We can't do the good stuff.
Morgan
Whatever is the high alcohol content one. So.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
Like, ever clear?
Eddie
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever's in a plastic bottle.
Morgan
Although I don't feel like that one's going to evaporate out for some reason. I just feel like that's going to stick around.
Eddie
Dude, Everclear's brutal. Ever. Clearly. I can't believe we drank that stuff.
Morgan
Yeah. We put that stuff in our bodies.
Eddie
Yeah. Would you ever do the. The watermelon?
Morgan
The watermelon.
Eddie
Oh, yeah. Where you, like, buy watermelon and you poke a hole in it and then you just pour Everclear in it.
Morgan
No.
Eddie
And then put it in the freezer?
Morgan
Well, no. How do you consume that?
Eddie
You slice the watermelon up and then you come back out and then you eat it.
Morgan
Did it taste like Everclear? Yeah.
Eddie
And a watermelon.
Morgan
That. That sounds disgusting.
Eddie
It tastes like watermelon with Everclear in it.
Morgan
Like Everclear, you just want to throw back and you don't want to think about it.
Eddie
I know, but. But. But the watermelon makes it taste like a watermelon, but it messes you up, dude.
Morgan
I bet that'd be really good with a really nice vodka.
Eddie
Probably a more mild vodka.
Morgan
Yeah. Yeah, like, that would probably be good.
Eddie
And you remember the last time I did that? Spring break, man. Like, we weren't buying nice vodka at spring break.
Morgan
Yeah, I never did a watermelon. Yeah, we did a lot of. We drank out of bathtubs and stuff, but.
Eddie
What the. What do you mean?
Morgan
You make all the juice. The juice in the bathtub.
Eddie
In a bathtub.
Morgan
Why would we do that?
Eddie
We did it in trash cans, but even then, like, blah. Trash can.
Morgan
It's all bad. They're like, wash it out. I'm like, it's not washed. How is your 401k going? This is from Jackie in Wyoming. New York.
Eddie
Jackie. I haven't started that yet, but I'm going to. I promise I'm going to. I just have to get with my wife and figure out how much we can afford to move over.
Morgan
Do you guys have savings?
Eddie
We do have savings, but yeah, we have savings. Okay. We just.
Morgan
More progress than I thought you had.
Eddie
Yeah, we have, we have. We have a little bit of savings, but it's just our day to day is so structured with money financials that we really have to. And we do have extra that we could put aside, and I think we just have to figure out how much that is.
Morgan
Okay.
Eddie
That way we don't screw ourselves over on the day to days. Do you know what I mean?
Morgan
Okay.
Eddie
Yeah. Because it's pretty tight. It's pretty tight. Our house is pretty tight financially.
Morgan
Okay, well, we'll be waiting for updates.
Eddie
Everybody is anxious. I know, I know. I'm going to do it, though. I'm going to do it.
Morgan
Okay, we're gonna take a quick break and we'll be right back. All right. The big question, Eddie, the big one. Did you listen to the podcast with Morgan's boyfriend and have you apologize about the shade you threw about taking Morgan's dog on vacation? That's from Amanda.
Eddie
Oh. I haven't apologized. There's no reason to apologize. Do I. Do I need to apologize? No, I haven't done anything to apologize. It's all. It's like your boyfriend says, that's what we do for a living. It's our job.
Morgan
Yeah, he. He did say. He said, I think once they meet me, they'll just realize that I'm just a dude and I'm. I Just really care about you, and they won't care, and it'll be fine.
Eddie
Do we already think that? Like, I already think that. Like, but it's funny. It's fun. You got to understand. It's funny to make fun of you about the dog.
Morgan
I'm fine. I'm just reading a question. But more importantly, did you listen to the podcast?
Eddie
I have not. I have. I have not. And to be fair, I don't listen to a lot of podcasts.
Morgan
It's fair.
Eddie
So I have not listened to that podcast. I've seen clips, but I haven't listened to the whole podcast. But, I mean, I want to meet him.
Morgan
Like, yeah, I want you to meet him.
Eddie
I want to. I want to meet him. Like, bring him around. Ooh, don't bring him around.
Morgan
I'm not bringing him to the office.
Eddie
Bring him around. Like, where could we meet? Like, where could we.
Morgan
You never go to any of the events. That's what makes it hard, because we're going to go to Keith Urban this weekend. I don't know if you're going to that.
Eddie
What?
Morgan
You probably didn't check your email.
Eddie
No, and I just picked up my phone to see if I got that email, which I'm sure you did. Which I probably did. So let me ask you about that. Are people just going to Keith Urban now because Keith Urban, like, is divorced or, like, they could be, because, like, I feel like I've never heard of anyone going to a Keith Urban concert.
Morgan
Okay. You can't say that about me, though. I've been saying he's, like, one of my favorite entertainers.
Eddie
No, you've always said that. You've always said that.
Morgan
I've loved him.
Eddie
I would love to go to Keith Irving this weekend. Saturday.
Morgan
Yeah, it's. Well, Friday night.
Eddie
Okay.
Morgan
So probably not gonna see him there.
Eddie
Probably not gonna see him there.
Morgan
I know. That's the hard part is, like, because he's met. He met Lunchbox very briefly when we played in the softball game. They didn't, like, get a lot of time to spend together.
Eddie
You didn't take him to the pumpkin patch?
Morgan
No, he was working.
Eddie
Oh, you know, what does he do? Do we know what he does?
Morgan
Yeah, he talked about it on the podcast.
Eddie
Okay, so I have to listen. Just tell me. Just tell me what he does.
Morgan
He's a sales manager. He sells golf carts. He does, and he loves it. He gets to play golf all the time. He gets to do.
Eddie
Can you give me a deal on a golf cart?
Morgan
Yeah, he loves selling them because, like.
Eddie
I'VE seen families with golf carts. It looks like a lot of fun.
Morgan
Oh yeah.
Eddie
Around the neighborhood.
Morgan
I can go over there. There's like thousands of golf carts and he'll just like take me on rides through.
Eddie
Does he play golf?
Morgan
Yeah, he loves golf.
Eddie
We should play golf.
Morgan
You could do that.
Eddie
Maybe. Maybe we can take him to play golf.
Morgan
Who are saying we?
Eddie
I don't know. I haven't figured that out yet.
Morgan
I would approve of you.
Eddie
Would you allow him to play golf with us?
Morgan
Yeah, I would approve. He's not like.
Eddie
Like if it was just me and Lunchbox. Yeah, it was just me and Bobby. There's no way. There's no way.
Morgan
There's no way I might take it back from all of you. I don't think I want you guys around him without me involved.
Eddie
What do you mean?
Morgan
No, no babysit.
Show Announcer
No.
Eddie
No. He's a man.
Morgan
Like, he is a man.
Eddie
He could take care of himself.
Morgan
He would be perfectly fine. I would be the one who'd be.
Eddie
Like, what is four hours you're worried about?
Morgan
What are they possibly saying to him?
Eddie
And then hour six, he's still not home yet. You're like, what is going on?
Morgan
And he'd probably come be like, be back and be like, that was so much fun. I'm like, really?
Eddie
And we stayed after, had a few drinks. No big deal. Like we talked.
Morgan
He is like, him and my brother in law have like literally talked to each other on the phone half the time.
Eddie
That's cool.
Morgan
About their projects they're working on and stuff. Like he'll, they'll consult on things they're doing.
Eddie
See, that's, that's important. That's important because like families that like. Or you know, like boyfriends or girlfriends, whatever that if you're thinking about marrying them and then they don't get along with your family, like that's a problem.
Morgan
It is. It is very.
Eddie
The fact that they're so. He's able to talk to not even like your sister, like your brother in law. I guess that's. That's pretty cool.
Morgan
Oh yeah. Yeah. And that's without us. Like Taylor and I aren't even involved.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
Like how do you guys even exchange numbers?
Eddie
How did they.
Morgan
I think they were talking on Instagram.
Eddie
Really?
Morgan
Yeah. Well, because it all started because they were splitting the YouTube TV because they wanted to do the big sports thing that's on there.
Eddie
I assign a ticket.
Morgan
Yeah. And I was. He was like, yeah, I was texting with your brother in law and I was like, what?
Eddie
So, so what did they do? They split it.
Morgan
Yeah. Because I have his YouTube TV account on my TV and my boyfriend saw that and he's like, do you have. I was like, do you think I have Sunday Ticket? I don't watch football. And he. And I was like, what is my brother in law's account? He's like, well, I'll text him and we'll buy it together. Yeah, like, okay, but.
Eddie
But you can't. Oh, maybe you can on YouTube. I don't know. On the one I have. You can't share.
Morgan
Yeah, they do on there. It works right now.
Eddie
How's that?
Morgan
I just screwed it for us maybe.
Eddie
How's that? How's that going?
Morgan
The football? It's a, It's a change for me.
Eddie
Yeah, but do you like it?
Morgan
Yeah, I.
Eddie
Are you starting to enjoy watching football? A little bit.
Morgan
I enjoy watching it with him because he's. He has like.
Eddie
His team was the Steelers.
Morgan
Yeah. Yeah. He has like a cool family connection to all of it. Like, and he loves, like, it's such a. It's a big part of his life. So it's like fun to be part of it because of how much he loves it.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
And he'll. He plays fantasy and he does all those other things, but he's not like someone who, like, we'll put it on if, if stuff's going on. But he's not somebody who's like, I have to watch every game.
Eddie
But he has to watch the Steelers, though.
Morgan
Steelers is always the one. And that's like. I'm like, I can handle that.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
But if you were going to tell me I had to spend Thursday, Monday, Saturday, Sunday watching sports, I'd probably be like, this is, this is tough for me.
Eddie
Yeah. Overkill.
Morgan
Yeah. But like, I love, I love the balance. It's perfect. And he's happy.
Eddie
That's tough. I wonder if he's wanting to watch more.
Morgan
Well, I always tell him to put it on. Like, if we're, if it's a Thursday or something, we're not doing anything.
Eddie
Oh, the Thursdays are fine. Thursday, Sunday night and Monday night shouldn't be a problem because those are just. That's like nighttime.
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
I'm like, you can do it if we're doing dinner. Like, you can just have the game on.
Morgan
Yep.
Eddie
But the problem is like, the problem I have too is like, I want to watch Saturday all day. I want to watch Sunday all day. So that's a problem. Like, my wife's gonna be like, you're sitting in front of the TV all day. I'm like, yeah, you know how it is.
Hell in Heaven Podcast Narrator
Yeah.
Morgan
And see, that's what I. I was like, no, we've got. We gotta have a life. A little bit of life outside of football.
Eddie
Right.
Morgan
But if we're not doing anything and we're just hanging out, I don't care. You can put it on. And he tells me about all his bets and his fantasy, and I always, like, help him.
Eddie
Does he. Do you ever pick bets for him?
Morgan
Yeah, I have.
Eddie
That's fine.
Morgan
Yeah, because he'll do big ones where it's like, a bunch of them. He has to hit a bunch of things.
Eddie
Parlays. Does he. Does he cut you in on the win? I'm sure he hasn't won him yet.
Morgan
He's. It's so crazy. He'll be like. He'll get all eight out of nine. He's like, it's happening. And then they'll be like, five minutes.
Eddie
Later, just, morgan, Morgan, I've done this my whole. Like, I've done that. You know how many of those I've missed? Thousands. And my wife's always like, stop saying you almost hit it. You always say, you almost hit it. And I'm like, but I did almost hit it.
Morgan
But it fair to say it doesn't count to get eight out of nine. I've learned to get eight out of nine. Say you do nine or however it's impressive to get eight of those things happening in completely different games with completely different players, and you're really just guessing what's happening. You're pretty close to hitting it.
Eddie
It's impressive. But you know what? You didn't get nine. So you didn't win.
Morgan
I know.
Eddie
You lost.
Morgan
That sucks.
Eddie
You know what's crazy? One. One week, I got them all wrong. I'm like, that's better than getting them all right. Like, I can't believe that happened.
Morgan
I should make money off of that.
Eddie
Yeah. All wrong. It was all red, red, red, red, red, red, mixed. I missed, like, 10 of them.
Morgan
See that stuff so fun to me. Like, I love that. I. I like that there's games. And he still makes snacks for me, which makes it fun for me.
Eddie
And he, like, presents it to you in his labor or whatever.
Morgan
Yeah, and it's my favorite thing. Cause it just. It's created a fun environment for sports. Really? Because mine comes from working at Buffalo Wild Wings for so long. I had to watch sports all day, every day my entire four and a half years.
Eddie
And you weren't watching it. It was just on.
Morgan
Yeah. And it was just. You just dealt with so many different fans. And, like, I just had such a. Like, I don't know, I just needed a break from all of that. And that's why now it's like, he's kind of made it more fun again in my life.
Eddie
Yeah, we're like that, too. Like the cow when the Cowboys play. Like, that's the one. We all must be in front of the TV and watch. And, like, my wife understands that. Scott, Boys game. What time is it? Is it noon on Sunday or is it at 3 o' clock on Sunday? Or is it the night game?
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
Or is it Monday night? Okay. We can schedule around that game. Everything else, she's like, no, we're doing. We're doing something else.
Morgan
Yep. And that's. That's very much.
Eddie
I think it's fair. Yeah.
Morgan
I'm like, we will make sure every time. At the very least, like, you have to be watching that game.
Eddie
Except for playoffs. Playoffs and Super Bowl.
Morgan
Like, obviously, it changes a little bit. We haven't got there yet.
Eddie
Playoffs are going to watch more games.
Morgan
Okay. I'm working on it. Okay. Hawaii. Rex will end on this one.
Eddie
Hawaii recommendations?
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
Oh, yes.
Morgan
We got Jess in Massachusetts. She's going for her honeymoon in January to Maui and Honolulu.
Eddie
Jess, you're going to love it. Oh, my gosh. I want to prepare you for Honolulu. Honolulu is the capital of Hawaii. It is a city on an island. It's like going to Chicago. There's. There's skyscrapers, there's high rises, but you're by the beach. So, like, don't. That one is probably my least favorite because you still feel like you're in the city. Lots of people. But if you're on Oahu, which is where Honolulu is, get a car. If you're renting a car, whatever, or Uber. The island's not that big. Go to the North Shore. The North Shore is the other side of the island. That's where the big surf is. That's where a lot of times they have surf competitions going on.
Morgan
Oh, and.
Eddie
And they have, like, a good shaved ice place. And they just. Locals are all over there and it's so freaking cool. So the North Shore, Waimea Bay, all that stuff's over there.
Morgan
Okay, That's a pro tip.
Eddie
Yeah. So that's cool. And then Maui is just legit. The whole island is so cool. The road to Hana, which I didn't really get to do when we got married, but everyone, My whole family went like, we got married and then we Left for our honeymoon. And then they did the Road to Hana and they said that was really beautiful.
Morgan
I can echo that too, because my family did Road to Hana.
Eddie
Okay.
Morgan
It was one of my favorite things we've ever done.
Eddie
There isn't one person that says that it was terrible.
Morgan
Yeah. You have views the whole time.
Eddie
They said that, like, the windy roads kind of make you a little nauseous.
Morgan
Oh, yeah. Well, and there's moments where it's like you could fall off a cliff because you're sharing the road with people coming the other way and there's not a lot of road.
Eddie
That's what I've heard.
Morgan
Yes.
Eddie
The snorkeling is amazing. Like, just buy snorkeling gear there when you get there. Snorkel, snorkel, snorkel. Like, you'll see so many amazing things.
Morgan
Sea turtles.
Eddie
I saw a huge polka dotted stingray the day. The day of my wedding. So the day we were getting married, like, I think at 3 o'. Clock. So like at noon I went just by myself snorkeling. And like, I would say it was probably like 20ft deep at the very bottom was the biggest stinger I ever seen in my life. And it was just all by itself down there. It was beautiful.
Morgan
That's so cool. That was probably a cool sign for your marriage too, right?
Eddie
I don't know what that sign was, but it was the coolest thing I ever seen.
Morgan
Hold on, let me see.
Eddie
Oh, here we go.
Morgan
If you see a stingray polka dotted on your. Okay.
Eddie
It was like. It was like black with white polka dots.
Morgan
Yeah. Because that's definitely different than a regular scene, right?
Eddie
Yeah. It was beautiful and it was humongous.
Morgan
Let's see. Let's see if it comes up with anything. Okay. Generating. Okay. In folklore and spiritual tradition, seeing a stingray on your wedding day can be interpreted as a powerful sign for a happy and guided marriage.
Eddie
Thank God.
Morgan
Because stingrays move gracefully but are also well defended. They are also said to symbolize balance, adaptation, and emotional wisdom.
Eddie
Wow.
Morgan
The polka dots add a unique layer because the exact interpretation is considered personal to the couple and can be a reminder to trust your inner voice as you begin your new life together.
Eddie
Okay. Well, I wish I would have known that when we got married.
Morgan
I'm surprised you don't look that up.
Eddie
When that happened, I was just like, that's so cool. And I followed it for a little bit.
Morgan
Yeah.
Eddie
And then what's crazy too, is my wife. We weren't supposed to see each other that day. Right. Because like, you don't see each other the day of the wedding. But she saw me snorkeling. She was like, I'll never forget. Like, I looked out the balcony and I saw you snorkeling and that's what you're doing. That's probably when I was watching the Stingray.
Morgan
That sounds like the perfect wedding day. It was pretty amazing, you guys. And small.
Eddie
Very small. We were probably like 30 minutes late because who cares?
Morgan
Yeah, you know, that's perfect. That's perfect.
Eddie
We were. I think we were late because the cameraman was late. Like one of the camera guys is late. But we're like. It's fine. Yeah, we're all here anyway.
Morgan
Just chilling.
Eddie
Yeah.
Morgan
I will add to. For the Maui list, we did Haleakala, the volcano. We did a sunrise bike ride up there and it was the coolest thing. Yeah, you start at like 3am because you're going up the volcano to see the sunrise at the very top and you're above the clouds.
Eddie
Oh, that's cool.
Morgan
And it's like one of the prettiest sunrise of my life.
Eddie
I've never like. That sounds amazing.
Morgan
Yeah, I, I mean, we've only been to Maui and it could be a different volcano that I'm thinking of, but I'm pretty sure it's Haleakana, if I'm even saying that correctly.
Eddie
Sounds right. I will say too. Back in Oahu, just outside of Honolulu, there's Diamond Head.
Morgan
Oh, yeah.
Eddie
We. We hike Diamond Head. Hike Diamond Head. It's really cool. It's, it's. It's nice because you're not far away from your hotel and it's. It feels like you're like on a. I don't know, in a tropical rainforest.
Morgan
Yeah. Maui just. I mean, you're not going to find anything that's not going to be.
Eddie
No, dude, Maui's legit.
Morgan
Ever. All of it.
Eddie
So freaking cool. I would go back today if I could.
Morgan
Hey, that's where you'd Part oneers. That's where you would move and.
Eddie
I don't know, I mean, retire in Hawaii. I feel like I'd. I need a lot of money.
Morgan
Hey, unless.
Eddie
Unless you just work at the bar, you know.
Morgan
Exactly.
Eddie
Flip burners.
Morgan
You have a little tiki hut.
Eddie
Good.
Morgan
Life would be good.
Eddie
God, that'd be so cool.
Morgan
Okay, go listen to part one if you want another reference room.
Eddie
Yeah, yeah, yeah. To know what we're talking about.
Morgan
All right, Eddie, I took enough of your time.
Eddie
That was great. We can stay here another hour. I love it. We all.
Morgan
We always talk for a very long time.
Eddie
We do.
Morgan
Okay, well, tell the people where they can find you at.
Eddie
Producer Eddie, all the stuff I'm cooking on TikTok, too. More and more. So follow me on TikTok like you're actually cooking. I'm cooking on the griddle.
Morgan
That's the thing kids say where they're like, let them cook.
Eddie
Yo, yo, let them cook. I'm about to cook, y'. All. That's what my kids say.
Morgan
Oh, my gosh, we have to leave now.
Eddie
My kids like, man, I'm about to cook.
Morgan
You like, okay, we must leave because I'm not sure who you just came out of.
Eddie
We gotta go. We gotta go, guys. We're about to cook. Peace.
