The Booby Fairy is back with an all new season and all new show including a fabulously fun co-host Dr. Michelle Weaver, DC. Welcome as we discuss our new practice The Tongue Tie Tribe, the one stop baby -co-op, designed to holistically heal and treat tongue tied babies. We dive in to our new partnership, other members of the team, and discuss tips on how to help new mothers feel empowered in those first couple of months postpartum.

In this episode Danielle sits down with the amazing Lori Hendrickson, a cranial sacral therapist, to discuss the importance of body work in babies, and why we are seeing an increase in torticollis (when the neck tilts to one side) plageocephaly (when the head becomes flat and needs a helmet) and some stretches that we can do to help prevent this from happening. If you have a fussy, cranky, baby who prefers one side, is constantly arching at the breast, and pulls away, this is the episode for you.

Danielle sits down with her dear family friend Dottie Pickett, LMFT, EMDR therapist, and MTHFR expert,(the gene responsible for ties, and many forms of depression). They discuss postpartum depression, good enough parenting, how important postnatal nutrition is for your brain, and hormone balance, and what to do to beat the baby blues. In this episode we laugh, cry, and of course, talk about how not to "Should" on yourself.

We are facing yet again another crisis in our healthcare, this time directly affecting the lives and development of babies. There are very valid reasons as to why a woman chooses not to breastfeed and it is our job as women to support them in and through that decision. In this episode, I explain why there is a shortage, and what we can do to help ease the pressure on moms, primarily through the help of other women inducing lactation and or relactating to donate to a baby in our lives. Tune in to this very important episode to find out what we CAN do and what we CANNOT do. Takes a village ladies.

In this episode, Danielle opens up about her first few weeks as a mom, and how her little barracuda baby inspired her to finally write "The Booby Fairy's Guide To Breastfeeding". She shares the first chapter of her book, as raw and vulnerable as it is, as she guides you through the very beginnings of her journey. We talk about how bottle feeding pumped milk is still breastfeeding, and the pressure we all face to become the perfect breastfeeder. 'Mom guilt' is real, but each day is a new beginning with the help of the booby fairy. If you enjoyed this episode I believe you will like my new book. Check it out.
