Baby Jade
Who is they?
D Baby
Oh, God.
DJ Scream
Just actually being an artist, you know?
Baby Jade
Okay.
DJ Scream
Instead of just doing what I want to do all the time and just kind of going against the.
D Baby
To follow the rules.
DJ Scream
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Not like. It's just. It's just fun. I'm having fun. Like, you would have caught me, like, maybe last month, two months ago. I probably would have been a bad mood. I wouldn't want to be here. You know what I'm saying? But this is what I'm dealing with inside right now. I'm happy.
Baby Jade
But you good, though.
Big Bank
You, you.
DJ Scream
I'm happy. I'm happy, happy, happy. Like, once in my life, I can actually tell you I'm happy as hell. You caught me at a great time.
Baby Jade
What you think it is that got you happy? That got you out there?
DJ Scream
I just realized something.
Baby Jade
Was that.
DJ Scream
What? You realize something? I should have realized that. I. I really. I realized it. I just acknowledged it, you know, it was. I want to tell you what it is, but it's kind of, like, personal. Yeah, a little personal. Well, it's more like, you know, what? You gonna. You're gonna do what you do anyway. I'm gonna just do what I do towards everybody, though. It's not like a specific person anymore. Like, you know what? Okay, I get it now. You finna do what you do.
Big Bank
Just start taking personal best.
DJ Scream
Yeah, yeah. But it's more like, okay, just know I'm about to do the same thing. Be happy for me because I'm happy for you.
Baby Jade
Was that like friendship or relationship type?
DJ Scream
Both.
Big Bank
Both.
DJ Scream
Both, you know, friends, family, females, anything.
D Baby
Because. Okay, so correct me if I'm wrong. I wanted to ask you about this. I saw somewhere online, like, a long time ago, a while back, that you were catching flack. Because if I'm not mistaken, you take care of your child's mother, right?
DJ Scream
Yeah. Yeah.
D Baby
And you pretty much do everything for her to make sure that your child has the lifestyle that you know it deserves to live, Right?
DJ Scream
Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
D Baby
So how did you. How did you kind of, like, navigate through the Internet with that shit and rise above it to not let it affect you and kind of drive you crazy? Because they were trying to go in on you about that.
DJ Scream
I bought her another car. As soon as they got to saying something about it, I said, okay. Get you another one then, since they want to say something about it. Oh, somebody. Oh, somebody tell me, hey, you know, so and so with your baby, what do they think? I'm gonna stop. Okay, you want. That's cool. Let me get her something else. Let me buy a chain.
D Baby
And what made you. What made you get to that point or like, make that decision that you were basically gonna make sure she was straight regardless, man.
DJ Scream
I did that because on July 4th or New Year's, my baby was crying and, well, he wasn't crying. He got scared of a firework and he's crying and she just started patting one. Like one time she. He stopped crying, started smiling, laughing, and I was like, okay, what that means he's safe. He's safe. He's in great hands. And I was just telling somebody this. I seen my mom cry when I was younger, and to this day, it's just feelings I can't get out of my sister because I can't make her feel better from what happened 20, 10 years ago, right? And then I realized, I said, well, damn, if my son sees my mom. I mean, my son sees his mom cry, it could be something he deals with for the rest of his life. And I got the power to change that, you know, I got the power to make sure that he don't have to go through that. So even if I'm not with her, if she's with somebody else, that's not my business. I made it to a point in life where I could take care of her, to take care of him. I'm not gonna say when he's 18, I might say, hey, I hope you stack some bread up. You know, like when he turns 18, I hope. I hope he was, you know, I hope he was. That's probably. But she's so independent and so cool. If you ask me when I'm 60, she's 60, whatever. If she wanted to make back when she was 60, I'll buy her back when she's 60.
D Baby
So do you think that her being as cool as she is is what was able to put you guys in the space of the healthy co parenting and the good relationship that you guys have now? Like, outside of anything else going on?
DJ Scream
Yeah, it had to be that. It had to. But I already knew who she was. I knew what type of woman she was before. Before I.
D Baby
Before you even got with her cohabitated.
DJ Scream
I'll be honest with you, it was my partner's baby mama, but me and him kind of fell off. He was just changed down some dry I ain't even really do it because of that. It was more because I just. I don't know. But then she was just so cool and it was like, she's independent, you know. I love that about her. And she's been independent, so it's just. I don't see why I have to make her go to work if she could take care of my son. I don't trust babysitters and stuff like that, you know?
D Baby
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
DJ Scream
So I just rather her stay, basically pay her. Yeah. Like I just told somebody else. She went to Puerto Rico a couple weeks ago and I was like, bro, what? What? You know, I paid for that, you know. But I ain't know. She left. Like we were chilling and the next thing you know, she. I was in Puerto Rico a couple weeks. I said, what? What? You ain't tell me nothing about this, you know what I'm saying? And then, you know, no matter if I gotta tell you, I gotta tell you. So look, what's funny about it? I don't know.
D Baby
I love it.
DJ Scream
I like you. I like you. This is what happened. I was in my DMs, right? I was in my DMs and I seen, I seen her name pop up and there was a picture. She had a two piece on. She was on a beach. She's on a beach, you know what I'm saying? And I'm looking and I say, hello, dog. You know what I'm saying? Where did it come from? And then I'm. I thought I said, you know what? This, I can curse. Yeah, you curse.
Baby Jade
Yeah, of course.
DJ Scream
I said, man, this, this. Hoe you. Hoe you. And I thought I said, man, this. And I smiled. I said this. And I smiled. I said, wow, she's having fun.
D Baby
Like in a good way.
DJ Scream
Yeah, she having fun. And to see my baby mama have fun, you know, she could be sick. Take care of the kids while they're sick. And then still her, she have just be sick, hurting, and I'll be gone. I can't help her. She gets through that. She gets through it all by herself.
D Baby
But the fact that you're even able to remove your emotions from that situation and think that far, I never thought I'd be able to do it for real.
DJ Scream
Like, I never thought I'd be able to do it.
Big Bank
You just seen and said this?
D Baby
No, but he said it like this.
DJ Scream
I was like. At first I was like. But I smiled and laughed off the rip. Okay, I was like this. And then I was like, wait, this? Yeah, she's having fun. I like that. I texted her right when I seen her. I said, I ain't gonna lie. You look good in that 2p. She gonna send me the picture. I said, I ain't wanna see the picture. I was just telling you, you look good. You know what I'm saying?
Big Bank
You only got one child.
DJ Scream
I got two. No, I got. One's mine. I got another one that is basically mine. If you ask me, I say he's my son, but biologically not somebody else.
Big Bank
So do you take care of that baby mama, too?
DJ Scream
Damn, you put me on. I was hoping. Nobody asked me that question. That's a tough story right there, but be honest with you. No, but.
D Baby
Because it's not technically yours.
DJ Scream
No, it's not even that. She just. She. She. She's more like. Man, I can't. I don't even want to talk about her, to be honest with you. I don't like. I don't really like.
D Baby
Yeah, that's cool.
Big Bank
How was it for you growing up down in Texas, man?
DJ Scream
It was. It was fine, bro. Bro, just, you know, everybody. Everybody's life has complications in them, you know, even. Even them rich kids who they. Sometimes they go through crazy. You know what I'm saying? But me, I just learned from so much as a kid, you know, another typical we go through. I can tell you that. I can't tell you that everybody is typical like that. That we go through.
Big Bank
What part. What part of life you feel like, made you want to be successful? Like, what. What you endured in your life to make you feel like, man, I got to be something different.
DJ Scream
I ain't. Like. That's actually a good question. I wouldn't even say that. Really just clicked in. Like, it didn't. Like, y' all can hear me good over there. I wouldn't say that just really clicked in until maybe years later, like, as a teenager or something. Because as a kid, when I started, like, opposite. As a kid, just see my uncle rapping with his friends, and like I said, I rap with him and just have fun. As a kid, you seeing stuff, but they hide drum, and you just see all of that, you know, and you just. Damn. You start rapping and then just keep playing around with it, playing around with it, and then just kept going until you get to a certain age where you realize, okay, bet, this is what I want to do. This is what I really want to do, you know, what you want to do at a certain time. But then there's another time where you actually realize this is What I want to do, maybe I got to get to get into it, which is when you get older, because you can't do that as a child playing around, you know what I'm saying? When you get a little bit older, realize more things. Like, I made my first three songs and I was like eight maybe, at a studio in the hood, Swim in the city. I was young. Notice when my uncle rapping and stuff, you know, so down the line, I just realized, okay, that's what I want to do, what I got to do to get there and then just get emotional. Whatever you got to do, just get in motion and stay in motion and keep going and keep going and keep going. That's all you got to do is keep going. That's what I do. I just keep going.
Big Bank
Now, what was that moment when you said, like, ain't no plan B, you know what I'm saying? This all I got, man.
DJ Scream
I'm gonna be honest with you. I want to say I. When I. When I first started playing around with music when I was young, playing around, I would say I, I knew. But let's say maybe, man, I knew for some years. I knew for so long, bro. I knew since I was a kid. I knew this was it. Like, whatever happens, this gotta work. Yeah, I remember what age where it was. It had to be about 8, 9 when I went to go make my first three songs with my uncle. You gotta be around that time. I knew, I always knew I know what I gotta do and I know what I got. A lot of people, they don't know what they got and what they want to do. So you gotta know, you gotta know if you got it when you go do that. You can't just, you can't have no doubts about it. You gotta know that you can't do that, you know.
Baby Jade
Why you think so many people compare you to Kevin Gates? Is it because of the collaboration or do y' all really have you feel like similarity, like life similarities?
DJ Scream
Know, I, I, I appreciate him a lot, but I tell him I appreciate him a lot. Like, I take some out of nowhere. So I ain't going to thank God for you, bro. Cuz without you, I probably wouldn't even been rapping like this, to be honest with you. I was rapping a little different. And when I heard him, it was just, it really changed my life what I told him that, you know, I could call him and tell him. I told, I tell him, like, hey. And then he tell me, hey. I'm still shocked probably to this day that he actually, like. He'll tell me, like, I'm a fan. I listen to music. And I'm like. Like, that's one person. And that. It just shocked the hell out of me, to be honest with you. Everybody else, I feel regular around, like a regular person. But him, I was mad, too, the first time I talked to him, bro, because I froze up. And I was so mad because it was on FaceTime. I was with Booby Black. Yeah, man, I froze up. So bad food. I was mad dog. He was like, so much to say.
Big Bank
But nothing to say.
DJ Scream
I didn't say nothing. I said, okay, okay, okay. You know what I'm saying, bro? We're on the phone. Tell me. I heard him on the phone. He went booby across the table. He what? I'm. You know, like, I'm lesser than. He put him on the phone. I would high as hell. I don't even smoke like that at the moment. I would hire with Black Booby. I was. Yeah, he put him on the phone. I said, damn. He gave me a phone. He was like, what up? You know, he said, she, like, remote because I missed. Because something like, they was just rapping. And I'm just like, yo, man, if I with you know what I'm saying? He tell me, I gotta come get in your face, man. It's the funniest ever, bro. The funniest shit. I don't think I ever even told nobody. Just. I swear to God. Look, I swear to God, I'm on FaceTime when I'm on the phone. Look, look, we on the phone. He, man, he. So y' all gotta come get in your face. I'm like, okay. I swear to God. Hey, man, I was mad as hell. I said, damn. I think Booby said, give me the phone. Oh, he was like, pass Booby the phone. I bet I ain't even say gave it to him. And I'm like, damn.
Baby Jade
So you think he took. You think he took it as initially, you think he. He felt that you was kind of having a moment? He might have thought, like, you didn't with him, though.
DJ Scream
No.
Big Bank
Now, he knew I did he know what it was.
DJ Scream
I've been talking to Booby about four or five years before that, maybe even seven year. I've been talking to Boo. I've been trying to get in contact with gays both six years before I actually talk to him.
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
You know what I'm saying? But, you know, that's another thing. As an artist standpoint, I tell you, you just got to keep going. You Know, you get there.
D Baby
I think that's the universal theme of everybody that's been on this couch today, is to keep going, like, no matter what. But you gotta never know.
DJ Scream
You gotta understand that, though, like, a lot of people, you. You might. A lot of artists that might. You. You ain't. You ain't acknowledged me back then. I'm blowing up now. You want to talk to me, tell me you like my music. A lot of people be like, I ain't gonna with you. You know what I'm saying? Me, I don't. I don't do that because I understand that, you guys. It's just work. You got to put in. He had to put in more work than I had to put in privately, because he started with. Wasn't really no Instagram, you know what I'm saying? He had to do way more than I had to do to get to where I was at. I mean, really? Yeah, no, he did. He did. I ain't even gonna see him try to down that situation. He had to do a lot more than that. Even if he didn't, though, if somebody blew up, right? If somebody made a song today, blew up the mall, and I would still treat him like he took forever to do that. You know what I mean? Like, he said I would respect the situation. So if he didn't want to talk to me and he was cocky and he blew up in a day, he's cocky. And then I want to work with him, and he don't talk to me till two, three years later, I'm still be like, man, I fuck with you.
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
You know, I'm not gonna say nothing. You ain't trying to holler at me back then when you. I'm not gonna say none of that.
D Baby
Right.
DJ Scream
I just understand the work, the process.
D Baby
Oh, Mike Jones, head ass nigga. Back then, they didn't want me.
Baby Jade
Hey, so you've been sober. You've been sober for a minute? Like, completely. Well, that's what I read somewhere. My bad, my bad, my bad. Just say who. Next question.
DJ Scream
Me. I lied, bro.
Big Bank
You lied.
Baby Jade
Okay.
DJ Scream
We love accountability, bro. Man, I. Man, I was sitting there.
D Baby
You tried.
DJ Scream
You know what's funny? That was March 1st. I remember I was telling my boy the other day, I said, I told him I was gonna be sober by May 1, right? And he was like, nah, that's next month. But that's still my days was. I think I'm out July.
Baby Jade
Okay. Keeping it real.
DJ Scream
I think I met May 1, but I was so out of there at the moment. I don't. I don't. I was so high. I don't even know why I said that.
Baby Jade
You know what I'm saying?
DJ Scream
Hey, not. That's what it was, though. I was up by two, three days, and I had to drive all the way to Dallas to go do the safety interview. That's where you're seeing it. When he said I was sober at, man, what did I tell y'? All? False information, bro. Only reason I got no cup right now, I swear to God, is I don't got no soda. But I know you heard my little pill shake when I grabbed my bag earlier. I ain't. But, I mean, I'm under a little bit more control, though. You know what I'm saying? I'm. I can honestly tell you, I put one line.
Big Bank
You think that she help your music?
DJ Scream
Hell, yeah, it does. That's a big part of the reason why I don't. A lot of my fans being the comments like, damn, if he goes, so, you know, we need that cup, and we need that. They like that. When I put that cup in the intro, every song. Yeah, like that. I like that. You know what I'm saying? It makes me feel.
D Baby
Yeah, that's your heart.
DJ Scream
Yeah. Like, one time when I. When I did stop sipping, I made a song when I stopped sitting and I was.
D Baby
And you didn't put the cup.
DJ Scream
I didn't have no cup. You know what I'm saying? And I like the song, but it was kind of like, man, this ain't it. It ain't it, bro. And the song I'm talking about, I ain't got no drink with me. I got some water with me right now, so you know what I'm saying? Shut the up and go pick up that cup, man. You know what I'm saying?
Big Bank
What's the balance with that, though? Like, how you. How you. How you. What you do to, like, clean yourself out? Like, do you. Do you, like, detox and.
DJ Scream
I drink water.
Baby Jade
It's a good start.
DJ Scream
A lot of you got to, though. I need to. Yeah.
Big Bank
Because that. That had you dehydrated. I used to be drinking, like, a month, but this. You had me dehydrated? Yeah.
DJ Scream
Yeah, it does. But the thing is, it's like I. I got to the point where I put a line in my water, you know what I'm saying? Like, I drink water with you said, oh.
Big Bank
He said, drinking the wing, you need that flavor.
DJ Scream
I put it in the water. I put it in a small vitamin water. I like those.
Baby Jade
You think you addicted did you say you addicted or you say water?
D Baby
Water, like real water?
Baby Jade
Lemon water.
DJ Scream
I just drank some lemon cucumber water right now. Oh, I came like, two cups of it.
Baby Jade
Gotcha.
DJ Scream
Two small cups.
Baby Jade
So it's a per. It's a personal choice thing. You don't feel like you addicted. You just feel like that's where you at right now.
Big Bank
Ain't no such thing. You either addicted or you ain't.
DJ Scream
With the drink, I'm on that. I'm on the drink.
Baby Jade
Damn.
DJ Scream
Clearly, like, I'm. I don't.
Big Bank
It ain't no in between with this.
DJ Scream
I don't even think I'm stopping, to be honest with you. I just decided to keep going. I love it.
Baby Jade
Why you think everybody else stopped, though? We don't have a lot of people on this couch who stopped. Who was. Homie got it. Got it, right?
DJ Scream
Yeah, it's possible. Food, it's possible. But I'm. I'm from Houston, though. It's a difference.
Baby Jade
I got you. That's the. Y' all the creators of.
Big Bank
That's the culture.
DJ Scream
Yeah, yeah, my daddy. But I'm pretty sure if I knew my real dad, he sipped, drank, too, you know what I'm saying?
D Baby
DJ Screw's house is a tourist attraction. Like, come on, let's be for real.
Big Bank
Like, hey, let me ask you something. Do that, folks. You move swings, though.
DJ Scream
Man. I got moving swings without this.
Big Bank
I'm saying, do it. Do it. Make it worse. Like, when I wake up on that, I don't feel bad. I used to feel better till I drink some more.
DJ Scream
Yes. Look, that's what happened today. I Woke up like four days ago, and I slept for like 18 hours because I was up for so long. I fight. I ain't gonna. I fight it to my high. I fight the high. I don't go to sleep. I'll be about three days high as hell, just looking like. I'll be thinking I look normal. And then my pastor see me and be like, you geeky. You know what I'm saying? Like, for real, I'm looking myself in the mirror and say, damn, I've been there by three days. I'm tripping, you know what I'm saying? But I woke up a couple days ago and, like, my body was just tired. I was tired. I was drained. You know what I'm saying? Man, I went to the. I ain't no solar roll. I put a. I put me a line on a little five hour energy bottle, and I took it with me to the store because I ain't gonna ride without living. So I took my line to the store, got to the store, put it in the soda, pulled it up, took a seal pipe, took with a little piece of my lion smoked cigarette. And like within the second seal, it's like when flowed through my body, it.
D Baby
Was bad and it like, made you all better.
DJ Scream
What I was up. You know what I'm saying? I was up. After that, I was good. Like, I was happy. I mean, I was happy when I woke up, but that was just different. It made me just continue to be happy. Only thing it was is my body was numb. I'm not numb. I was just aching. I was aching because I've been asleep for. So it wasn't even because of drinking, because I was. I was laying down.
D Baby
Because you were with basically withdrawing.
Big Bank
No, he said, nah, it was just.
DJ Scream
Because I was laying down for so long, like, oh, you saw when you woke up? Yeah. You just irritated because I slept for like 17, 16, 18 hours.
D Baby
Okay.
DJ Scream
I was up about three, three, three days. And. And you know what I'm saying, Like, I just woke up. I've been sleeping at night over here. I just been doing what they tell me to do. So I just. I don't even. I think they told me to tell you. I think they told me not to talk about the drink. I don't even know.
Baby Jade
Well, big facts is big facts.
DJ Scream
But yeah, it does work on me. It makes me feel. I'm happy right now, to be honest with you. So it just makes me feel a little bit better than happy, I guess. Happy sometimes how you think it makes you calm.
Big Bank
Make you more calm.
DJ Scream
I'm really calm in general. I'm. I don't scream. Yeah. So when I do got to do it, everybody's like, damn, what's wrong with him?
Big Bank
That's out of character for you.
DJ Scream
Yeah, I don't do it, but. So that's why even if I'm about to hit you in the mouth, you wouldn't even know it. You know what I'm saying? I'm so chill. You, I'm be looking at you like this.
D Baby
I gotta hit this nigga in the mouth.
DJ Scream
You never even know.
Baby Jade
They say they need elsas.
Big Bank

Dr. Leitra Tate
Sometimes it's hard to remember, but going.
DJ Scream
Through something like that is a traumatic experience. But it's also not the end of your life.
Dr. Leitra Tate
That was my dad reminding me and so many others who need to hear it that our trauma is not our shame to carry and that we have big, bold and beautiful lives to live after what happened to us. And I'm your host and co president of this organization, Dr. Leitra Tate. We're moving towards liberation together. Listen to the Unwanted Sorority. New episodes every Thursday on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
D Baby
So do you think that. I'm sorry, my bad. Screen. Do you think that that even temperedness has kind of, like, helped you in life because you don't really show too much, so people can't really figure you out?
DJ Scream
Man, I tell you this, last time I tried to do something like that, somebody died. And then somebody died again just because I was being chill. No, man, I wasn't chill.
D Baby
Oh, like when you. When you flipped out.
DJ Scream
That's why I. Man, I swear, this was the stupidest shit ever. I don't even. I don't. It's. I just gotta stay. I just gotta stay. Me. I don't like getting mad. I don't like when people put me in positions where I gotta get mad. I don't like when I gotta do something that I'm not trying to do. For somebody who keeps doing stuff to put you in positions, you gotta keep doing stuff you don't want to do. Just so happy for me. It was my sister who did something I wouldn't really. And it wasn't even my sister. It was her baby daddy, and she just. It was just the wrong time.
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
And that got me. And that just. It just escalated it. And then.
D Baby
Yeah, yeah.
DJ Scream
Next thing you know, and then you gotta walk around with this, look, my guy on your back. Like, like, damn, is that my fault?
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
And then you realize, hell, no. Yeah, hell, no, it wasn't my fault. But it was. It was. But you asked me. I'm not gonna carry that on my back.
D Baby
You can't.
DJ Scream
I can't. It was just me trying to protect my sister. I guess you could say so. I don't. It wasn't my fault.
Big Bank
How many people you thought was gonna be, like, riding all the way out with you that just couldn't come along on your journey?
DJ Scream
I mean, I knew from a kid I wasn't taking everybody with me. I tell them, I say, look, I'm gonna be real with you. I'm gonna let y' all know right now, all y' all ain't coming with me. I'm just letting you know that right now. I told everybody, said my whole family. I said. I told my people when I make it, I can't take them all there. I told them that stuff, the kids, like, as soon as I knew. I see the music, lifestyle and how everything going. And I always thought it was kind of fake. I thought it was fake. And then I'm like, wow, what you mean, fake?
Big Bank
Like what?
DJ Scream
Like it's real.
Big Bank
Oh, like, yeah, yeah, real.
DJ Scream
It's just real. And I'm just. I'm. Now I'm like, wow, this is real. Like, it'll change life. It changed your life. It's real.
Big Bank
And you thought it was, like, acting, like. Just acting like they doing what you doing now.
DJ Scream
I don't know. I don't know. I always just thought, like. I just thought some of it was, like, it was too much. I might do a video with some extra that's not mine in it. You know what I'm saying? But so that. That was the reason it was like, okay, I know all of it can't be this. But then now it's like, okay, no, that's mine. You know what I'm saying? It's wild. You know it's wild. And then you'll be like, damn, hold up. Let me go get my baby mama truck and put it in the video right quick. You know what I'm saying? Let me go get. You know what I'm saying? Let me. And it's yours. It's basically yours. It was nice. I used to give. Okay, I don't take back like that. But. But you bought it, so it's okay to put that in there. I can wear my baby mama chain if I want to, you know? And it's just crazy because we have it. I have It I, I got it. It's crazy, you know what I'm saying? Crazy to me. It's wild.
Big Bank
I saw that Gates moment. What's another moment that made you be like, damn, this nigga here know me.
DJ Scream
Man.
Big Bank
You notice everybody kind of knows me.
DJ Scream
You know what I'm saying? But what makes me mad is a lot of them will send somebody to tell me, hey, so and so with you. I'm not gonna talk to you then I'm not gonna talk to you unless you tell me you with me. You have to tell me directly.
Big Bank
That's a good disclaimer that you put on because you might not be approachable. You be telling me, chill on that drink. You might just be chilling. But like, bro don't seem like he want to with a right now.
DJ Scream
Ah, that's not how that works, man. That's not your man. At the end of the day, if you're a man, you got just a man. Go talk to the man. I don't got no issue walking up on somebody. Tell him I with him if they in a bad mood. If you're in a bad mood to tell me, I thank you and get. I get a bunch of paper.
Baby Jade
Yeah.
DJ Scream
You know, I'm not going to sit there and just stay up in your face. I don't want, I don't really want to take pictures with nobody. I don't ask nobody for pictures, cuz I know I'm going run into them eventually time. I can take a picture with them right now. I just want you to know I with you and that's it. You know what I'm saying? How you doing?
D Baby
I respect your craft.
DJ Scream
Have a good night, you know, right. And then get up out of there. But maybe Drake, when I first met Drake, he was like, you, baby. And I'm like, whoa. But then again, I only met him through Jay Prince. So he could have just told him, just do, baby. And you want way of thinking though?
Big Bank
Yeah, it is.
DJ Scream
I was telling my boy the other day, he said, I dropped 100 eyes on the floor, right? And I said, man, the way I grew up, bro, you could have pulled that $100 out your pocket and told me you found it just to be cool with me or get close with me so I could trust you. And even if I did drop it, I'm. To this day, I think he put. He grabbed out his pocket and lied to me.
Big Bank
Just show trying to show some false loyalty.
DJ Scream
No, I wouldn't. He cool.
Big Bank
I'm saying. But that's what you thinking though. That's what your mindset. Trying to show me, lawyer, by giving me your hummer.
DJ Scream
Yeah, give me your hummer. Did I take it?
Baby Jade
Oh, yeah.
DJ Scream
I ain't gonna turn it down, though. Give it to me.
Big Bank
But still you took it. I thought that probably got there.
DJ Scream
To this day, I swear to God, he pulled it out his pocket and liar to me.
D Baby
Yeah, but yet everything we up.
Big Bank
What you think put you in that mindset right now, though?
DJ Scream
I grew up. It's nasty out there. It's disgusting out there. I don't know. My uncle didn't try to do me. My uncle tried. You know what's crazy? My uncle tried to sell me some drink one time, and it was fake. And I was about to buy it, too, but I ain't checking it. I think I'm like, maybe 30, 14.
D Baby
Maybe just on aunt's face.
DJ Scream
He's still my favorite uncle, but he's still my favorite uncle.
D Baby
What's your sign?
DJ Scream
I'm a Cancer, not a.
D Baby
You are not. Yeah, I'm a Cancer, too.
DJ Scream
Yeah.
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
I think I'm a Gemini at heart, though, because my dad. So I took a lot of his.
Baby Jade
I thought she was on the cusp.
DJ Scream
No, see, I was coming out at like 1150 something. I came out, like at 1. I mean, 1112 something, not 26.
D Baby
Are you a June cancer? I'm a July cancer.
DJ Scream
I'm a 21st to 22nd. So I. I consider myself cancer Leo with Gemini at heart because of my dad, you know?
D Baby
So you're like a hermaphra cancer.
DJ Scream
What's that? What?
D Baby
Like. Like you're. You're kind of like both like. You're like. You're like.
DJ Scream
You're.
D Baby
You're both like. You're a cancer and a Gemini.
Baby Jade
I'm a hybrid.
DJ Scream
Just say, oh, you both, like. Yeah, you both of them. You both of them just say that. Yeah, yeah, you both of them. You know what I'm saying?
D Baby
My bad, big daddy.
DJ Scream
So.
D Baby
Oh, God.
DJ Scream
What was that?
D Baby
Oh, yeah. You would not. You were talking about.
DJ Scream
Oh, he tried. My uncle. Yeah, my real uncle. Coming on. My dad's not my real dad.
Big Bank
Okay?
DJ Scream
So he. He. I think he was really gonna sell it to me for what he did. He was like, you want it? I said, yeah. He gave it to him. He said, stupid ass nigga. Look, he grabbed the bottle. Look at the bottom of it. I put fake shit in that bitch. Look, you know what I'm saying? At the bottom of the medicine body, put a syringe.
D Baby
In that and melt the bottom Back up.
DJ Scream
Yeah, yeah, yeah. And I was like, wow.
Big Bank
What make you feel like you're gonna steal sense.
DJ Scream
If you didn't, man? Cause he felt bad. I thought my dad was gonna ride me for. For a little bit of hard one time. I ain't gonna lie to you. See, they both. They churches treacherous over there on my grandma's side. They crazy.
Big Bank
But they ain't get you, though. Hey, name another they spared, though. They ain't Spam no, right.
DJ Scream
Yeah, they ain't get you.
Big Bank
So they.
DJ Scream
I don't know, fool. He just really wanted to do it. And I know he did, dog.
Big Bank
He just could.
D Baby
But that's another thing with us Cancers. We overthink a lot of too.
DJ Scream
I'm mad right now thinking about it, because I can't believe he would do that.
Big Bank
I'm gonna tell you what you mad at that you about to go for it that he could have. Yeah, he mad that he did.
DJ Scream
I trusted him.
Big Bank
He teaching you don't trust nobody. But check the button now. I bet you that's why every pint you bought you started.
DJ Scream
That's why I'm telling you, holding this.
Big Bank
Up to the light.
DJ Scream
It's nasty out there. It's disgusting. That's what I'm saying. That's why.
Big Bank
Damn, bro, that you up, man? Feel like he get that $100 bill, bro.
DJ Scream
I can't even apologize for feeling the way I do feel that way died.
Big Bank
Yeah, you're a Gemini.
DJ Scream
I'm gonna give it back to you. Let something make you feel better about it. Maybe. Maybe. Because I don't think my dad will give it to you. My dad say you who to go down to his.
Big Bank
I mean, out of Texas, period. Ain't gotta be no rapper, nothing. Just the all time goat.
D Baby
Like Houston in your eyes.
DJ Scream
My grandmama big.
D Baby
Where is it?
DJ Scream
Yeah, my grandma mercy amazing. I wouldn't. I wouldn't be getting away without that woman for a little. I'm here right now because of that woman. I swear to God. Really? It's my uncle with the.
Big Bank
With the drink. He the goat.
DJ Scream
I with. No, his mama's the goat. And her mama, two goats.
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
Yeah. Because, you know, my dad had saved my. My younger and going, say, man, grandma love me. His grandma. I'm like, well, my grandma, y' all mom love me. It's like. It's like a grandma thing, I guess. I don't know. Maybe grandparents feel like they can fix what they didn't do with their kids or something. I don't know.
Big Bank
I'm a granddad now, so. Yeah, yeah, I know they. They getting the best side. The night side. My kid, like, feel like I'm a whole grandkid.
DJ Scream
They take on papa. Damn, that's crazy.
Big Bank
I would probably sell my son some plate lean or something good to teach him the game. They burning them, but they burning about.
DJ Scream
I swear I feel the same way. Older, same.
Big Bank
You better gotta wake him up. Life is the best, teach.
DJ Scream
I'mma swap it out.
Big Bank
Go swap it out.
DJ Scream
You better hope I don't sympathy start super because I'mma swap her out. I'm gonna take it from you. One line. I don't know. I don't even think about that. Right. I'm tripping.
Big Bank
Hey, so how you. How. How did you deal with the people? Like, once you did start goddamn blowing up, like, people that feeling like you understand how you dealt with that.
DJ Scream
Man, I got issues like that with family right now. Like, I just. Man, don't forget about me. I ain't talking to you in 10 years. You know, then I bear forgot about you. Yeah, like, and then, you know, I ain't gonna lie, bro. What made me mad is. It's just, man, I love my uncle to build, but I don't even want to talk about it. I'm talking about the other one. This is friend. I'm not really related to him. Man, is it okay if I see a merch with your face on? I'm like, no, bro, so I can sell. So I'm just trying to make a little extra money. And I'm like, no, no, bro. Like, no. Why No, I just.
Big Bank
That's the favor, Uncle.
DJ Scream
Nah, it's not even much him. I can't even put him in that category when I talk like this. It's his friend. I knew. I know, I knew, I knew.
Big Bank
Oh, friend.
DJ Scream
Yeah. He's like a family friend, bro. And I'm just want to see a.
Big Bank
Shirt with your name, your face on the one you though.
DJ Scream
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm just like, man, I just don't know. I don't. I don't like that like that with family.
Big Bank
Do you feel like certain people just shouldn't ask you? Certain Y'.
Baby Jade
All.
Big Bank
Y'.
DJ Scream
All.
Big Bank
Yeah, bro, why would you even ask me to do.
D Baby
Now? I feel like you trying me like I'm Elaine.
Baby Jade
Yeah, I agree, but because you know.
D Baby
I do anything for you, you know, like, whatever it is, you could probably just ask me for it. But now you're going too far.
Big Bank
But what's that line? I don't know if it's north.
DJ Scream
Like, I'm. You think about it. I don't make it to the position where you don't have to ask me. You know what I'm saying? You don't have to ask me. Nobody has to ask me. I see you and just be like, hey, you know what I'm saying? That's where it got to. So when you asked me, I'm like, I just gave you something. If somebody asked me something, Chris, it's somebody I just gave something to. Maybe, you know.
Big Bank
They don't have me for that need.
DJ Scream
I feel like.
Big Bank
And no, please don't hit me with that. God damn.
Baby Jade
No, I feel.
Big Bank
Don't hit me with that. God damn.
D Baby
Oh, that. God damn. You acting Hollywood or no shit like that, man.
Baby Jade
So, so, so, okay, yeah. Y' all talking about I'll bite your.
D Baby
Nose off or some like that. Please don't do that.
Big Bank
God damn.
Baby Jade
Y' all talking about. Y' all talking about people y' all know, right?
Big Bank
God damn.
DJ Scream
But somebody asked me for a cigarette at the hotel.
Baby Jade
This is what I'm saying.
Big Bank
If.
Baby Jade
If you're in a random set in the airport. If you in the airport or a hotel, the cigarette is crazy. But I'm saying, should A. Because we got. We all get this, right? Should A run up on us at the airport and be like, I'm trying to get on big facts. Should they do that or not?
D Baby
They do that to me all the time.
Baby Jade
They supposed to do that. Should A walk. If he catch you in motion at the airport, should he be like, bro, what's up with a feature, man?
DJ Scream
Bro caught me eating at the. Some crawfish one day when camera tried right from me. And I told him, I said, hey, let me finish my food. He said, man, it's gonna be quick.
Baby Jade
What'd you say earlier? It's nasty out here, though. Trying to make it disgusting. Might not run into a D baby no more.
DJ Scream
I ain't ran into him. Oh, I did. Matter of fact, I did. He went and he bought some.
D Baby
You saw him again?
DJ Scream
Yeah, he bought some. Some merch or something. I think one time when I seen him again. You want to rap from. I said, look, bro, this. If you ain't got nowhere from the last time I seen you, don't. Don't rap for me no more. I'm cool. You know what I'm saying? Thank you, though. But look, look, look, look. The dude that I was, I'm so up. I really felt like a whole early dude walk up on me. Soon as he walk up on me, I'M looking at him. I said, he said, he said, excuse. I know what the he said. I said, man, I ain't got nothing for you. And all I'm saying, he said, you got a cigarette? I'm thinking, ask me for money. I feel like a whole f. I thought he going to ask for some money. What I'm saying, man, I ain't got nothing for you. But in the midst of saying that, all you hear is, hey, you got another cigarette?
D Baby
I'm like, damn hit man, man gave.
DJ Scream
Two cigarettes, got up out there. You were cool people, you were cool. He looked you. I felt like he looked like a person you wouldn't even want to talk to. Like I feel like, oh, wrong. You probably about to ask me for some money though. Until you see me say I ain't. Until he heard me say, man, I ain't got. Cuz that when I said, man, I ain't got. That's when he said a cigarette. So he could have been say, you got some man in there, you know what I'm saying?
D Baby
Yeah, let me get something out this before he leave.
Big Bank
Just ain't trusting. That's the same with the whole olive beer and the drink. All this go back to that. Like that could have been to my some money. But he see how it going. So the took the least as possible.
D Baby
Yeah, he just burned on people right now. We got to give him a minute.
Big Bank
We call that back in our hood, we call that gang shot like a think everybody in the game against him.
DJ Scream
Like everybody.
D Baby
But is it. But is it really that far fetched to be shell shocked after you've been through so much or certain can you help it?
Big Bank
You can. I feel like you can. I feel like one. I feel like what you think is what come to you now personally, you know what I'm saying? I feel like if you thinking somebody on some you're gonna attract. That's how I feel now, you know what I'm saying?
D Baby
Because I feel.
Big Bank
I remember just being out seeing people and automatically feeling like what's up? But now I'll be like, what's up? And be like, what's up? Bank? They go here back I with you. But usually I'm giving out the energy like I'm on that. So they be on that then. Don't know how to. But you come with that good face smiley bank. Now I'm smiling. Is smiling.
Baby Jade
Yeah, you crazy what you put out.
D Baby
But I feel like Tate removing the personal interaction from it like on everything else. That's just. I feel like that's just like. Let's just say fucking. It's a kid. This like fucking. They mama used to whoop them or beat them or whatever or their punishment used to be like they used to get fucking penny from Good Times. Burnt with iron or some shit or hot water or anything. Now when they see anything boiling on the stove, they flinch or they, you know what I'm saying? They trip out because it's triggering. They're triggering the. That that triggers them and they can't help it because that's all they know is bad from that kind of traumatized. Yeah, exactly.
Big Bank
Yeah.
DJ Scream
That was deep though.
D Baby
For real.
DJ Scream
Real.
Baby Jade
They said any else?

You do one thing. He don't like he ain't gonna with you anyway. You know what I'm saying so.
Big Bank
Well he does not with the two people. I don't just want to chill.
D Baby
Live nation.
DJ Scream
I just. I just appreciate that.
Big Bank
Going crazy though. It's already sold out.
DJ Scream
Right?
D Baby
I should have sold like 1800 million th000 pre sales or some crazy.
DJ Scream
You said like you about to kill us. How many you calculate?
Baby Jade
You calculate a lot.
Big Bank
What city you think with you the most outside of your city?
DJ Scream
City or state?
Big Bank
State. Yeah. I say state.
D Baby
Leave Texas out of it. Anywhere other than Texas.
DJ Scream
Look, he trying to give me the lie. He over here talking about Atlanta. Trying to stay Atlanta like I'm a who.
D Baby
Who that is over there? $100 bill.
DJ Scream
That's him. That's him. Hey. What I tell you? No. This really is a number two. It is a number two though.
Baby Jade
Oh.
Big Bank
Outside of Houston it is.
DJ Scream
That's. That's the crazy thing. I ain't even expect it be like that. But got to watch out for people like that. I with him but I hate so.
Big Bank
Who all going on tour? You who else? Who all on that tour?
DJ Scream
I with him.
D Baby
I just know about him and yb.
Big Bank
Well on that with y', all bro.
Baby Jade
Say him db I mean ybd, baby. Ebk.
DJ Scream
Jbo.
D Baby
That just got locked up, didn't he?
Baby Jade
Oh, that's what it say on The Flyer and K3 the EBK.
D Baby
The EBK.
DJ Scream
I ain't really much been on Instagram like that. I don't even know. I just. I don't even be on Instagram like that no more on here. I just like post what I post and get off.
Baby Jade
Definitely. He is definitely a Gemini.
DJ Scream
Yeah, I just post what I post and get up off there because.
D Baby
Yeah, I took a break for like four days. I came back this afternoon. All kind of crazy. Like. Yeah, yeah, the world keeps turning.
DJ Scream
Yeah, yeah. I just gotta check my DM just in case business stuff or. We had some funny check my email, looked at my phone messages us cars and my phone back down.
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
You know.
D Baby
So what's some like. What's some that you like to do, you know, like outside of like working and all that kind of stuff?
DJ Scream
I'm glad you asked that. So the thing about working is for me is if I step out the door, that means I'm working and I'm about to pay for some. You know what I'm saying? The moment I step out that door, I don't lost probably like 600. The moment I step out of my Ching. Every step I take about 30, 30. I swear by the time I come home, I don't.
D Baby
Hell yeah outside and knock the coins out your ass, boy.
DJ Scream
So my favorite thing to do is I like to stay the in the house. You know what I'm saying?
Baby Jade
Facts.
DJ Scream
You know what I'm saying? I like to stay in the house.
Baby Jade
Yeah.
DJ Scream
I like to go to the movies. I like watching my movies.
D Baby
I go to the movies a lot too.
DJ Scream
I like my TV shows because I get to sit there and just chill.
D Baby
What you be watching?
DJ Scream
Everything. Power, 1923 something Yellowstone, Vikings movies, everything, you know?
D Baby
Yes.
DJ Scream
That's my chill time and my down time because that's the only time I get to just sit there and do and not have to like. I. If I walk outside, I'm working, there's no way around it. I go to. I go some. I leave. I got a man up at the studio.
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
And you know, I'm end up shooting videos, camera somewhere, artists somewhere.
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
I want to talk business everywhere. If I just chill in the house, I just. You can't even get A hold of me. You kind of.
D Baby
Yeah, you can disconnect.
DJ Scream
You have to, like, come to my house and pull up on, like. Nobody could get a hold of me if I don't want to get a head. A hold of. So my favorite thing to do is just chill and watch my movies and TV shows and just relax.
D Baby
Do you, like. Do you cook?
DJ Scream
I do.
D Baby
What should be cooking.
DJ Scream
Oxtail.
D Baby
You cook accents?
DJ Scream
Yeah.
D Baby
Yeah, I want to see.
DJ Scream
I cook my own. Can't cook.
Big Bank
You think you're gonna eventually be with your baby mama, though?
DJ Scream
Yeah. Now. Hell no.
D Baby
Well, that was firm.
Big Bank
Why you say that?
DJ Scream
I'm gonna just take care of her as long as my kid just be good. But I'm not gonna. Oh, hell no. She cool as hell, bro. But I don't never know. I love her, though. I love her so much. I just don't.
Baby Jade
I don't even know the question to.
DJ Scream
Yeah.
Baby Jade
You said it.
Big Bank
So never know.
DJ Scream
I'm trying to find. Oh, look. Oh, look how this fell off the bone. Look how this fell off the bone. Hold on. Don't look yet. Let me make sure I got the right. Y' all gotta make sure. I just.
Big Bank

Baby Jade

D Baby
Have y' all ever seen an oxtail? Like an o. An undone oxtail?
DJ Scream
Yeah. Yeah.
D Baby
That does not look like something that is supposed to be edible.
DJ Scream
It is, though. That must work good.
Big Bank
I think it's something. It's another part of them.
D Baby
But oxes don't have tails, so.
Baby Jade
What?
DJ Scream
Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait.
Big Bank
Hold on. That what I'm trying to get y' all to say. What does a eat?
DJ Scream

Baby Jade
It's a cow.
D Baby

Baby Jade
I thought the ox was a. What's a baby cow?
D Baby
A baby cow is a calf.
DJ Scream

D Baby
Okay, that gravy looks official.
DJ Scream

Big Bank
That's What I'm saying.
Baby Jade
Oh, they're extinct.
D Baby
They died with Paul Bunion.
Baby Jade
If there's no such thing. You saying they extinct?
DJ Scream
My I'm right now for this. We can. Hell no.
D Baby
I mean, but if you got a gravy, I know you got the meat.
Baby Jade
So you saying. Okay, I'm confused now.
Big Bank
No, there's no such things as oxes. That's what he saying.
Baby Jade
So how can there be a such thing as cow?
DJ Scream
It's the same family.
Baby Jade
It's a cow tail. It just sound cool her to say oxtail.
DJ Scream
Yes, correct.

Baby Jade
They'Ll kick us out.
DJ Scream

D Baby
I promise.
DJ Scream
For real. I was gonna do that anyway, to be honest with you, but thank you for putting that back on me. Like, you better go do that. Come and do it straight up.
Big Bank
You feel like you always had the it factor as a young always like that's it.
DJ Scream
That's it right there.
Big Bank

DJ Scream
Hell yeah. Been there been one grandmama grandson. Me.
Big Bank
I'm the gay the it.
DJ Scream
Damn. I don't know who gave it to me, but it was my. It was somebody on my grandma. I don't know fool. Cuz I don't fool my damn. What my mama's side, I just. Dog, they different. They don't like me because I'm like my grandmama's side, my dad and my uncle that I'm not even related to. So they don't with me because they say I act like them but don't be hitting money good on this side. You know what I'm saying? Why would you not like this?
Big Bank
Yeah.
D Baby
Yes. Yeah.
DJ Scream
What the is it about this that you got a issue with? Like you got to talk about me now?
Baby Jade
They want you to be mad when.
DJ Scream
They see this too. Look at my. My driveway f my neck. They're have to come kill me. That's all they're going to be able to do. I don't talk to him. I don't want to talk to nobody.
D Baby
I ain't going to speak that into their wing.
DJ Scream
I'm telling you the truth. When you do like this and act like this, people want to do that to you and it'll be family member. That's what I was telling you. I just got into some for my family just to get treated like I was the one wrong.
D Baby
Oh, what you were talking about earlier?
DJ Scream
Yeah. Like, yeah, from that side get treated like I was the one that did something wrong and all right, you want hit me up talking about we still family.
D Baby
Yeah. We gonna say all that. Bring back the positive.
DJ Scream
Positively just told you that.
D Baby
Yeah.
Big Bank
You know what I'm saying?
DJ Scream
I'm good.
Baby Jade
Like I'm great from the bottom of my heart.
DJ Scream
This is crazy. Like, I love that I told you that.
Big Bank
With joy.
DJ Scream
Hey.
Big Bank
Him with joy.
Baby Jade
What's the biggest thing you feel like the world should know about you? If there's like a misconception about D, baby, what's the biggest thing you would say?
DJ Scream
I don't think it is one no more. I think they get it.
D Baby
Oh, smooth how you put it back in that pocket.
DJ Scream
Yeah, I think they get it now.
Big Bank
Well, you got two lines in that.
DJ Scream
Mother, not just one. I left the drink at the spot so I don't ride with too much of it because it was hot last night. Boy was so high. I was mad because I brought all my drink and all my pills with me, but. And I had some on. I walk in the store, I said, police. I said, damn, I wouldn't be mad about. With my drinking my shots. And they gonna take my drink from, you know, we left and they ain't with us. But today I said, you know what? Let me put a line and a line and these two bottles and ride with maybe 5p instead of 30 or 20, you know, and just go back and get it. Because everything right here, five minutes away from everything. I can't even go for a drive. I can't even go for a drive. I won't go for a drive. Everything around the corner. I don't got no chance to play no music. As soon as you put something on, you pull it up.
Baby Jade
You gotta take a ride.
DJ Scream
Destination arrived. You halfway through the song, just Lil. I'm man, Cap, you ain't took it.
Baby Jade
To the south side. That's the ride.
DJ Scream
Enchiladas. We're gonna go get that, right? We're gonna get the enchiladas. Y' all talk. You talk funny.
Baby Jade
Shout out, Cap G. Shout out, Cap G. That's Cap.
DJ Scream
Yes, Cap G. You know that goat.
Baby Jade
Oh, my God.
D Baby
Yes, man.
Carlos Miller
Damn.
D Baby
Man. The south side's finest, man. Damn.
Baby Jade
So say you gotta take Diva to the south, man.
Big Bank
Yeah, y' all shouldn't video.
DJ Scream
You said any word. Do you say it?
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
Never heard you say it. I never heard him say it, though. So now I feel like I'm a little wrong for saying it.
D Baby
You ain't wrong.
DJ Scream
I'm not gonna stop. I'm just saying I feel like I'm a little wrong.
D Baby
Oh, God, man. Yes.
DJ Scream
It's really, man. Damn. I want to tell you this story that just. I know my people not gonna with me if I see it.
D Baby
Leave out the. Leave out the parts that are questionable.
DJ Scream
I'm talking about my Mexican people.
Big Bank
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Don't do it.
DJ Scream
Yeah, they love me. You know what? I'm gonna be honest and tell you. You, bro, this what it was, dog. It was just that one school. The Mexicans didn't like me food because I tried to fight one Mexican dude. And just so happened. He just be so happened to be cool with all the Mexicans in the school, you know?
D Baby
Why did y' all get into it, man?
DJ Scream
I don't remember. He just said something, and I was. I was trying to just like. No, I didn't say, hell no. I said, what you want to do? I Think he would train, though. I think he just want to eat so out. Honestly, he would have whipped my ass at the time, you know, Because I ain't gonna lie. I ain't really. You like a professional Professional. That's what. That's what they did.
Big Bank
Take his side over here.
DJ Scream
That's what they did. Like, all of them, they were like. They. Boxing classes and everything. Just what they did, you know, at the time, I was so mad. I didn't really give a. If they would have came out that way. He just said something disrespectful, and I'm like, man, what's up? And then the girl like, don't do it. Don't do it. Like, he ain't worth it. He ain't worth it. Like, I ain't gonna lie. A couple days later, I thought about. I said, wait. She was talking about, it ain't worth it. It ain't worth it. She probably knew, you know what I'm saying? But he wasn't. He was just chilling. And next thing you know, about the next day, he must have told all the Mexican people. And then, like, the day after that, it was a Mexican versus black fight. And, you know, I just so happened to be cool with all the black people. You know what I'm saying?
D Baby
Yeah.
DJ Scream
And I was on the wrong side of the fence, but if you ask me, the right. The right side.
Big Bank
Oh, so you roll with. You roll with them. They roll with you, you roll with your.
DJ Scream
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Big Bank
So you. From that day on, you had picked your side, basically.
DJ Scream
I ain't really ashamed to say it, though. They. They. They ask me out for no reason. I try to fight one person, they won't jump like that.
D Baby
I feel like you said, I'm gonna bang. No to with me.
DJ Scream
Yeah. Who?
D Baby
With me?
DJ Scream
Yeah. I. I with. That's it. He with me. I with you. That's out of here. That's out of there, bro.
D Baby
I really enjoyed this interview, bro. This one of them ones, like, yeah.
DJ Scream
This the funniest I did since I was out here. That's right.
D Baby
Yes, man.
DJ Scream
I'm gonna come chill with y' all next time. I'm gonna come anytime. You ready? We ready.
Big Bank
We want to come to Houston with you.
DJ Scream
You want to sip some?
Big Bank
Yeah. Nah.
DJ Scream
Number one, I'm through with this. Right? You're right.
Big Bank
I mean, no cow tales and none of that.
DJ Scream
Oh, yeah. I went vegan about two months. 20, 21.
Big Bank
How you feel?
DJ Scream
I was great. I was fertile.
Big Bank
Then when you had your kid?
DJ Scream
Hell, no. That's when I almost had a kid, had a miscarriage. She probably wasn't healthy. I was, I was straight. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? You know what? Crazy about it. You believe in God? Yeah. You know what's crazy about that story is I was, I was like drained. I was depressed as hell. I don't even know how. I don't even know what the drove me to the moment where I just couldn't get up one day. It was one day I couldn't get up. Like I couldn't move, you know, I woke up on a couch when I couldn't move. And, and matter of fact, this is what happened. I was driving one day and I don't know what the was bothering me and I just, I started crying about some. I said, what the is you crying about? Feeling myself. What the are you baby, you good? You alive? What is you worried about? And I'm speeding, I'm. Next thing you know, I find myself at my mama house by three in the morning. I go knock on the door. Matter of fact, the door is unlocked. I go busting her. She sleep with her husband in the room. I go busting the room. I. I don't know what, I don't know what it is. I can't feel better. I just, I can't feel good. I'm, I'm, I'm hurt. I don't know what. I can't stop feeling this way. I tried, I tried, I tried. I'm telling us, I'm trying. It just won't leave, you know what I'm saying? It's just not leaving. I don't know what it is. It just won't let me be, you know. And like a couple days later I had to stay at her house because I was like, man, I can't move on. I was laying on the couch and about February, February 3rd or some like that, I'm laying on the couch and in the morning I woke up, I couldn't move, so I had to like slide off the couch. You know what I'm saying? I slid off the couch and I pulled myself back up on the couch and I got in praying position and I was praying for like 15, 20 minutes, just saying the same thing over and over again. Like, like, basically like, I, I for now. I know I can't do this alone. God let you take control. I forgot exactly what I said, but it was something along those lines. Like, I let you take control now. For now. I can't do it alone. Just, you know, saying the same thing for about 15, 20 minutes, Brian. Towards the end, I started feeling better. And I said I was just right there. I couldn't move. I was playing. I couldn't move from the praying position. I couldn't even. My body was weak, you know what I'm saying? And towards the end, I just started getting stronger. And then my breath started to come back, and then my body stopped hurting. And I wasn't on drugs at the time, so it wasn't drugs. It was actually me. Just my body was. I was tired. My head was almost tired of everything. And towards the end of the prayer, it was like, breathe. I was. I could stand up. And I smiled, took a deep breath in. Like, I looked outside, I seen the sun. I went over there, I pulled a chair and put it in the middle of the sun in the yard, in the backyard, and I just sat there. Well, I went and got a gym membership about an hour later. About two months before. I just. No more. Just gym. She mars, fruit, Te everything.
Big Bank
So what made you go back, though?
DJ Scream
I got covered, and I wanted to see if I could taste the hot wing that was the nastiest ever, boy. Oh, my God.
Big Bank
Oh, you saying you got coven. You want to see if your taste.
DJ Scream
Was still there, man. Bro, I. The texture was so nice because I dipped it in ranch. I got the hottest wings they got. And ranch. I said, I'm about to try it it. Because, you know, usually when I eat it, it's hot, but I can't taste it.
Big Bank
Yeah.
DJ Scream
So I dip it in the ranch and bite it. Man, what the. It tastes like it was. Just get the animal straight out, you know what I'm saying? Bitter little ass. You know what I'm saying? To our peace off.
Big Bank
Got the bite, man, but, you know, let me ask you something. And we ain't gonna take this to no health, but for you knowing that you felt better, why you ain't just stick to that or go back to it?
DJ Scream
I wanted some hot wing. Hey, man, I wanted some hot wing food. I ain't going to. I said, man, I know if I could taste this, it would be good, man. Next thing you know, after me got some. Got me some hot. I got wingstop over.
Baby Jade
Yeah, but it's wings. Way better than wing stop in Atlanta. Not the wing stop, but you can get some.
Big Bank
Go to dream wing.
Baby Jade
Yeah, a lot of different wings.
Big Bank
Yeah, dream wing.
D Baby
Dream wings. Hans magic.
DJ Scream
We want to do dream wing. We'll do dream. We want to dream. We first. Yeah, we'll do that first. I'm here by two more days. Probably something with it. Yeah.

The Breakfast Club – BIG FACTS feat. DEE BABY Release Date: July 6, 2025
Hosted by DJ Envy, Baby Jade, and Big Bank, The Breakfast Club is renowned as "The World's Most Dangerous Morning Show." In this episode, they welcome Texas-based artist DEE BABY, delving deep into his personal life, career, and the challenges he's faced along the way.
[02:08] The episode kicks off with Big Bank introducing the show and welcoming DEE BABY from Texas. Baby Jade and DJ Scream set the stage for an honest and unfiltered conversation.
[02:22 – 03:10] DJ Scream shares a rare glimpse into his positive mindset:
“I'm happy. I'm happy, happy, happy. Like, once in my life, I can actually tell you I'm happy as hell.” [03:03]
He reflects on his journey from feeling down months ago to embracing happiness through personal growth and self-acceptance.
[04:09 – 07:17] DEE BABY discusses his relationship with his child's mother and the challenges of co-parenting amidst public scrutiny:
“I made it to a point in life where I could take care of her, to take care of him.” [05:10]
He emphasizes his commitment to ensuring his child grows up in a stable environment, even if it means enduring online flak and making significant sacrifices.
[09:44 – 12:38] Reflecting on his upbringing in Texas, DEE BABY attributes much of his drive to his family:
“If you ask me, I have it. It’s crazy, you know what I'm saying? Crazy to me. It's wild.” [29:23]
He recounts how observing his uncle rap inspired him to pursue music seriously, highlighting the importance of perseverance:
“Whatever you got to do is keep going. That's what I do. I just keep going.” [11:48]
[12:38 – 16:33] DEE BABY opens up about his admiration for Kevin Gates and his interactions with other artists like Drake:
“I tell him I appreciate him a lot. Like, I take some out of nowhere.” [12:46]
He shares a humorous anecdote about a FaceTime call with Kevin Gates, emphasizing the respect he holds for established artists:
“I was like, dam, I think he put, he grabbed out his pocket and lied to me.” [13:36]
[16:38 – 23:03] The conversation turns personal as DEE BABY candidly discusses his battle with addiction and attempts at sobriety:
“I was telling my boy the other day, I said, I told him I was gonna be sober by May 1.” [16:49]
He describes the challenges of cutting back, the social pressures associated with his lifestyle, and the impact on his health and relationships.
