when Kohler, global design leader in luxurious kitchen and bath products, asked me to be their ambassador for timeless, elegant, durable cast iron, I said, I'm in. Soon after, I was in their Kohler, Wisconsin foundry, watching molten iron, poured, enamel applied by hand, and the beautiful finished pieces ready to ship. Since 1883, Kohler cast iron has been crafted by incredible artisans, and seeing it firsthand gave me a whole new appreciation for their craftsmanship. Now I'm proud to lend my stamp of approval to my favorite Kohler cast Iron products for their durability, beauty, and enduring style. When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're bringing drugs, they're bringing crime. They're rapists.
Charlamagne Tha God
He's a jackass. Yeah, it's donkey. Today for Monday, March 23 goes to the 47th President of the United States of America, Donald J. Trump. Let me tell you something I've been telling y' all all morning that I was listening to Sarah Jake Roberts Sherman from last Sunday titled God still cares, dropping a clues bombs for Sarah Jake Roberts. And she talks about compassion collapse, also known as compassion fatigue. And compassion collapse is where people begin to feel less empathy, okay. The greater the scale of the trauma. All right? And she challenges us to fight becoming numb to headlines. She challenges us to remain sensitive to both personal and global needs. The reason I'm bringing that up is because it's true. Compassion collapse. Compassion fatigue is absolutely a real thing. And we have become desensitized to so much. It's too much going on in the world. It's so much going on and they want us to care for everything. But then you end up caring for nothing. Okay? The economy is messed up. People ain't got no job. It's media is falling out the sky, ice at the airports. If I work for tsa, I'm not getting paid. We at war with Iran. It's just too much going on in the world, okay? Plus, just whatever you got going on personally. But that can't make us numb to the wrong that is happening on this planet every day on all levels. Okay? And what happened this weekend was wrong. See, former FBI Director Robert Mueller passed away. He was 81 years old. Rest in peace to him. And as a special counsel, Robin Mueller probed Trump in his 2016 campaign as the leader of the Russian investigation during Trump's first term. So, you know, Trump don't like Robin Mueller. So I didn't expect him to have anything nice to say about Robert Mueller after he passed, but I damn sure didn't expect him to say this. I don't know why we're still surprised by anything that comes out of his mouth, but let's go to ABC News for the report.
News Reporter
Please, a few words about Robert Mueller. Mueller, who died yesterday, is known by many as the man behind the Mueller Report, which, of course, looked into Russian interference in the 2016 election. He also led the FBI for more than a decade, guiding America through the perilous period after the September 11 attacks. But what, perhaps some don't know about Robert Mueller is that he was a genuine war hero during a time when many of his peers were trying to avoid military service. He volunteered joining the Marines after his college roommate was killed in Vietnam. Muller served for more than a year in combat in Vietnam, receiving a Purple Heart after he was shot in the leg. And he was awarded multiple times for valor, including a Bronze Star and a Navy Commendation Medal. Donald Trump reacted to the news of his death by posting this just minutes after it was announced. Robert Mueller just died.
Charlamagne Tha God
Good.
News Reporter
I'm glad he's dead. That's a remarkable statement for anybody to make, especially a President of the United States.
Charlamagne Tha God
Listen, he's keeping that same energy, okay? If he didn't like you when you were alive, no need to pretend when you're dead. Okay, I get it. But here's the thing. I don't have to tell you everything everyone else has already told you about this not being presidential. I hate when people say Trump is not presidential. Why would he be? He's the former executive producer of Celebrity Apprentice. Okay? Reality show star turned president. All right, whatever. All right? I'm not even going to get into the hypocrisy of saying something like this, but then being upset about the people who mocked the death of Charlie Kirk. But listen to what he said, though. Listen to what he said about that.
Have you asked to start with voting the visas of the foreigners who have celebrated Charlie K?
No, we haven't.
Donald J. Trump
We haven't. But we are looking at names. We don't like that. That's not right. We wouldn't celebrate if something happened on this, and we don't. These are sick people. These are really deranged people.
Charlamagne Tha God
What I'm going to say, and the reason he's getting donkey today is because if you know you, Donald Trump, care about legacy as much as you claim to, boy, you are really ruining yours. I mean, you've already ruined yours because you're going to go down as the worst president of all time because you don't give a damn about democracy, okay? Wiping your ass with the Constitution and on pace to lead this country into the worst financial crisis of all time. But you are also putting yourself into a position that when you pass, people are going to treat it like Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Okay? The celebrations folks are going to have, okay? The things people are going to say about you when you pass, Mr. President, I don't care about how many buildings you put your name on. Bridges, tunnels, they can create holidays. None of that will matter because you have hurt way too many people. And more importantly, you get back the energy you put out. Do you care? Do you care what Baron sees about you after you. After you pass? Do you care what Melania sees about you after you pass? What about your grandkids? I know that CN just posted a report that said you have 100% approval rating amongst MAGA Republicans. 100% of MAGA Republicans, according to CNN, approve of the job you're doing. Let me tell you something, man. I live in the real world and I know people who have voted for Trump three times and they are not happy with the job you're doing. So somebody lying. Okay? Cnn, I know Skydance just bought y' all and all of y' all trying to save your job, but let me be the first to tell you, most of y' all getting fired anyway. So please go out with some integrity. That was ridiculous. And it's polls like that that feed Trump's ego, okay? It's people around him like that, telling him everything he does is great. So much so that he's probably not even aware of the parade people are going to throw when he passes away, okay? If you think Donald Trump's tasteless tweet towards Robert Mueller was something, wait until you see social media. When Trump passes, okay, the energy that you put out comes back to you. Eckhart Tolle. Everything is energy, and that is all there is to it. Match the frequency of the reality you want and you cannot help but get that reality. That's Albert Einstein, comma Comma, comma, comes back to you hard. That's Lauryn Hill. My point is, President Trump, you are teaching people how to treat you by how you treat others. And we as a society should let, shouldn't let any of this become so normalized that we don't take the time to simply say it's wrong. Please give President Donald J. Trump the biggest he hawk. I know it's a lot going on in the world, and people are desensitized to everything. And, you know, when you got to care about everything, you know, you end up caring about nothing. But some things, you should just take the time to say, hey, young world, this is wrong. All right. This is one of those things.
Show Announcer/Producer
All right. Well, thank you for that. Donkey of the Day. Now let's open up the phone lines. 800-585-1051. So President Trump said he is sending U.S. immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to agents to airports today.
Charlamagne Tha God
Yeah. That's another thing we got to care about.
News Reporter
That's right.
Show Announcer/Producer
He's sending ICE agents to the airports today to help TSA workers. A lot of TSA workers are calling out after missing paychecks. They have to find other means to
Charlamagne Tha God
pay their rent right away. That's the only help TSA needs. And that's the only help TSA wants. Their money.
Show Announcer/Producer
Their money, their bread that's owed to them. So we're asking. 800-585-1051, what are your thoughts? The fact that Trump is sending ICE agents to, quote, unquote, help TSA workers.
Charlamagne Tha God
I wonder if, are you scared? You know, if you got a fly this week, Are you, is there, you have, you have anxiety about this? Like, what is it? I wonder, you know, you know what
Show Announcer/Producer
my other question is, too, because ICE agents carry. Will they be carrying in the airport?
Charlamagne Tha God
Of course they have to.
I mean, yeah, that's scary as f.
Just like police carry in the airport. Just like military personnel carry in the airport. Yes, they will be carrying in the airport.
It's the fact that they're going to be profiling people, you know, just prolonging. They're not, I don't, I don't see them caring about people actually having to get to where they need to go. TSA is already stressed out. And so y' all coming in here to make our jobs easier. Y' all think we still not getting paid.
Show Announcer/Producer
That's crazy. 5851051. Let's discuss this. The Breakfast Club.
News Reporter

In this compelling episode of The Breakfast Club, the focus is on former President Donald Trump’s controversial public reaction to the death of former FBI Director Robert Mueller. With Charlamagne Tha God leading the “Donkey of the Day” segment, the show dives into topics of compassion collapse, social desensitization, and the long-term effects of public figures’ rhetoric and actions. The hosts reflect on the implications of Trump’s words—a reaction deemed particularly jarring coming from a former President—and open the lines for listeners to weigh in, especially regarding Trump’s concurrent actions towards TSA workers and airport security.
“I mean, you’ve already ruined yours…because you’re going to go down as the worst president of all time because you don’t give a damn about democracy, okay? Wiping your ass with the Constitution and on pace to lead this country into the worst financial crisis of all time.” (Charlamagne Tha God, 09:00)
Warns Trump that the way he treats others, especially in moments of death, will shape his own legacy and how he will be remembered.
This episode highlights the ongoing crisis of empathy in American society, punctuated by Trump’s dismissive and inflammatory rhetoric upon Robert Mueller’s death. Charlamagne Tha God underscores how such moments are not just about politics, but the erosion of basic decency and the importance of compassion in the face of endless bad news.
The hosts stress the need for self-awareness, urging listeners not to become numb and to recognize how influential public figures shape societal norms. The segment further explores Trump’s management of current crises—in this case, TSA worker pay and airport security—while interrogating the motivations and implications of sending ICE agents into overwhelmed, underpaid environments.
Final Message:
Charlamagne delivers a strong call: even when it feels like there’s too much to care about, we must still care enough to call out what’s clearly wrong.
