DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Big, big baby Miller.
Interviewer / Commentator
Welcome, brother.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
What's up? What's up? Nice to see you. Thanks for having me. Thanks for having me.
Interviewer / Commentator
Dad, what the hell are you thinking? What the hell? Congratulations. I'm sorry. Yes, Congratulations. I'm watch the fight live. I'm literally watching. I'm watching the fight live. Yes. And as I'm watching, I'm like, man, I must be high. This edible kicking in because it looked like big baby head is moving.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I was hot, too. I don't know what I was thinking, but I said, excuse my lang. I got rolled with it because, man, I was had here, you know, I'm trying to say it was breaking normally last night, and I blamed it on my mom, too. I kind of felt bad about that. I said, you know what? I'm gonna roll with it. So anyway, I was had here, but, you know, ended up putting enhancements, all that stuff in it. I'm like, what, the Spanish spot? Cuban's in Miami, man. Left it in there. I went to training, washed my hair out. Half of my hair fell out. And I says, okay, I ain't ready to go bald yet. I can't pull a shoulder, man, just yet.
Interviewer / Commentator
I said, you got a nice head for a bald.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
When I first saw the piece come off, I was like, oh, damn. You could have just came like that.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
You know what it was? I wasn't ready to do it just yet. Plus, like, you know what? What if it do fall off in the ring? I'm like, man, that might be a good thing. I said, man, it could be 50, 50. So at least I went to my boy. I went to my boy. Had to. We had to win after. So funny. I was getting my ass whipped before that point. I ain't going to lie to you. I feel like my trailer. He whooping your ass. I'm like, yeah, you're not turning up. I said to the head pieces. Oh, yeah, we definitely got to win this. I can't go back to the block with my head looking like this.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
So did they glue it on?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Like, what?
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
What? They didn't sew it to a scalp envy.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I glued it on.
Interviewer / Commentator
It was flapping.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
My man said he put the tape. Plus, he hit me with the roller. Like, shh. Like he thought he was painting the wall. Like he put the glue and the tape on it. He said, it's gonna be double reinforcement. I thought we was Gonna be all right. But, man, my boy Beezer was knocking me upside the head. Boy, is that good.
Interviewer / Commentator
Sanctioned by Boxes. Is that legal?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
What you mean? Yeah. So you want. You. You want to Do. You want. You gotta come. You want to take it off? Yeah.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
What's under there now?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah. I do it, though, because I, you know.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
Don'T give me no jabs or nothing.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
You got the George, so why can't you take over?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Honestly? Honestly. I was saving a Fiat, bro. I was. Big baby. Let's go grow back a little bit.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
That's not going back.
Interviewer / Commentator
Big baby. Big baby. I need you to grow up.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Come on, man. Listen, listen.
Interviewer / Commentator
What are you doing?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
It's so funny. It's so funny. I'm just real quick. My son woke up this morning. He says, daddy, can I see head? I was like, for what? It's ugly. He's like, I like it. And he laid on my head. I was like, you know what? He's fine. He's four years old. So I was like, you know what? I can't. Three more days and I'm probably so is that real here? That's my real hair.
Podcast Host (Shopify Ad)
That is real.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
So that's real here.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
This is my real hair.
Interviewer / Commentator
You ain't watch the fight. This one was under the way I.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Did, but I didn't know the whole.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Thing was going on. I got real here, like, I really have here. So it was at that moment in time, I was like, man, I don't want to go in there with a ball yet. So I slapped me. Go slap the piece on.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
You got the perfect head for the ball. Yo, yo, I'm co. Signing it. You got.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Go ahead.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Give you permission to ball it out. Do you fight your barber now? Whoever glued that on, do you go.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
It's so funny. Like, he's never given me a cut before. He usually gives my cousin a cut. So I'm gonna call my cousin, yo, bro, I ain't ready to go bald yet. He's like, yo, my man got. Got the piece.
Interviewer / Commentator
That's his name. I think he was in comments. He left me a comment. He was like, I didn't do that.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yo, my cousin, he can park in the car, so he gonna probably come up and tell y'. All. But I was like, yo, for real. He get the units. He's like, yeah, yeah, let's get up. Slap it over real quick. So I walked up in. That was bad half. Slap it over. I was like, yo, this look kind of fire.
Interviewer / Commentator
No, it did.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Which man charge you for that? How much he charged you for that.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Big baby, man, like 700 last minute. 700.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
No, you got slapped.
Interviewer / Commentator
You gotta get 650 back. Yeah, don't keep 50 for labor. Let me ask you a question, though. When the headpiece came off, did it hurt more than any punch you took that night?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
It's so funny because I didn't realize it came over, but I felt a draft. Like, I felt like I had. Like, I had, like an indoor AC moment. I'm like, nah, I don't think it happened. But then I'm sitting down and my coach is giving me instructions. But he stuttered twice, and that's what gave him. He never stuttered. He was like. He looked up like this. Like, his eyes went. His eyes said. I said, oh. I said, now, if this really would have came up, I'mma look at the jumbotron, because the jumbotron will have the replay. Yeah. So when I went like this ridiculous. And I said, oh, shit, they got me. I said, what? We gonna roll with it. Let's go, baby. Yeah. And I got up, I tossed it in the crowd. I said, it's time to get back to work.
Interviewer / Commentator
So did you feel more exposed when the head left or when the camera zoomed in? Like, when you saw it on the Jumbo?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
You like, oh, yo, the minute I seen on the Jumbo Crown jumbotron, I was like, oh, yeah, we. We fried. We cooked in this one. So, Mazar, we gotta win this fight now, man.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Does it bother you that people know you more for the hairpiece than the actual boxing?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
You know what is for years ago, you know, when I met Charmaine a few years ago, man, they knew me for boxing. You know what I mean? We had a little bit. I've always been a funny guy, you know, I'm always making fun of myself. You know, DJ Self is like, my God brother. You know what I mean? So, you know, dealing with him and you got. You can't be. You know, you gotta know how to roll with the punch.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
He was the first one. Self had one. Yes.
Interviewer / Commentator
He was the first one.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Come on, man. I know, but see, but, see, but like. Like, being from. Like I said, being from New York, even being from New Jersey, New York, we all grew up just cutting on each other, of course. So if you can't take somebody cutting on you, that's always made me good in boxing. Like, I could roast you and be cracker by later on, you know what I'm trying to say? So I've always been able to roast myself. That's Why I was off for people to get at me in school. Plus, I was always fighting too. So anyway, I beat up all my bullies after they bullied me, but that always made me tough skin. And God made me this way, the way I am right now. Yeah, I thank God for that, you know what I mean? Because I go, yeah, I can laugh it off. And plus, like I said, man, I can still take your girl with his hair.
Interviewer / Commentator
Let me ask a question. I don't want to ask him because he didn't answer. Is the headpiece regulation approved by the boxing commission?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
You know what? It's not regulated or approved per se, but I know you go pre fight inspections and they check you for your body parts and, you know, make sure anything is good or whatever. And I was like, yo, I was thinking about what if he canceled the fight because I got this piece on. I'm like, ah, you ain't gonna know. And he tested real quick and he kept it moving. I was like, are we good? Let's go. We gonna ride out. What happens is you check your scalp, they squeeze your head, make sure you got no fractures in your jaw or nothing like that. And of course, you don't really want like long hair with things, you know, whipping in the whip and air and all that, so. He just touched my scalp.
Interviewer / Commentator
Should fighters start listing hair pieces with mouth guards and cups during inspection?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Man, I think, I think it's definitely gonna be a thing. Definitely brought light to it, you know, So I hope, I hope I didn't, you know, hurt, offend nobody else, but damn.
Interviewer / Commentator
And I'll be honest with you, you look in much better shape today than you did in the ring to me. Yeah, I knew you was 317, but I'm just like, you actually look fit. You fit, sad.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
No, no, I feel like, what happened? I gotta get like bigger, a bigger cup. Anytime I get like that kind of cup, like, it pushes my butt. I'm pretty solid, man. Like, I'm not like a 317 sloppy guy, but I don't know, man, maybe I had the cheeseburger and put some more muscle on.
Interviewer / Commentator
Listen, the commentators was playing you throughout the whole fight because they kept saying, this is such a sloppy fight. And I'm like, what they really wanted to say was, this is a fat fight, you know what I mean? And then when the head came off, they was like, oh, you know, he won by a hair, this and that. But you do look in much better shape.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, you know what it is? I'll tell you something, man, if you Watch my last vote. Andy Ruiz. You know, I won that fight and he gave me a drawing. I fight in his hometown and I'm a very fast guy on my feet. I throw a lot of punches, 70, 80 punches around. But the year and a half layoff is what really hurt me in this fight, you know, And I'm fighting a guy that's my height, 280, ex football player. Any of these damn Nigerians, they so damn strong. Like I said, I'm gonna be fine. I get him, bro. He was, he was ready for me. Anybody know they finally be baby, they come prepared. So, you know, I had about 28, 29 days notice to really get ready for this fight. So I was not 100 my best. So I'm. Thank God I got the win. We back to work. You know, he got a califi. While he punched me up in the air a couple times, my ass swollen up. Got to get that stitched up. And so like I said, the main thing was get the win. You know, we got some notoriety back on the map, get back in the gym, back to focus, back to the ground.
Interviewer / Commentator
Do you feel like you missed your moment? Because you know you were supposed to be the guy who fought Anthony Joshua's first fight here in America, correct? Andy Ruiz ended up winning that fight. You did beat Andy Ruiz. Do you feel like you missed your star making moment?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I mean, you know what, I beat myself many times over the years because of that, you know what I mean? And it's so funny. One of my boys, God rest his soul, you know, he was doing 18 years in a joint and he said, bro, you didn't commit no crime. You ain't kill nobody. This is like, it's like you lost, you lost your go make it re up again. You go back to the block and start over. Because what happened is, you know, I beat myself because of social media and other people, but in life, I know that I'm in a better position somebody else. So I got another day to make it, another day to make it happen. I got said, I pray to God, stay grounded and stay focused. And yes, I did. I missed the opportunity, but I'm still alive. You know what I'm trying to say? Like, there's plenty of superstars and stars that had to reborn and restart over 30. You know, Mike went to jail on that situation he had years ago. Muhammad Harley had to go to Canada, stay away from his career for two, three years. And I'm trying to. So I said, you know what, maybe this is my time to reset and figure things out. You know, I went through a divorce after that. I lost my mansion in Jersey. Got rid of a couple cars. Like, I went through the gutter. But I really figured out at that time, like, you know, my publicist, like, my big sister Alvina, she'd been with me from the beginning. So it's like a lot of people have been riding with me when I had nothing again. They around right now, so we going to get to the top.
Interviewer / Commentator
You. You had tested positive for the performance enhancer, right?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Man was a. Let me tell you something. A $15 penis pill from the AAB store was. I swear to God, everything I love, bro. Let me tell you something, baby. Be doing anything, but I be telling you.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
That what it was before.
Interviewer / Commentator
They can't hear you.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
They can't hear you. You got a gas station pill.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, yeah.
Interviewer / Commentator
Hold on.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
He's very humble. And I've been with him 16 years. He told them prior to the fight. I got the confirmation. I did take this. I just want y' all to know I took this. It was like zero point, point, point, point, point, point, point, point, point in his blood that Vara came after with that, which we understand. But he has not lied. He is not a liar, as you can say. He is very humble and kind. He's lovable. And that is what happened. Least he didn't. Least he said it. I wouldn't have said it. That's embarrassing. But as you can see, this is big, baby. And that's why he's an inspiration, because of his transparency. Thank you.
Interviewer / Commentator
What the hell did you need penis pills for? You was only in your 20s. You 30. Only 30.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
You were trying to tell something. You were trying to tear something up.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
So let me say something, man. So, you know, we had a couple things in the town and we was running wild. I said, yo, it's right before camp about to start. I said, let me go get one in real quick. Well, about four in, really. But you know when the average spot got the. At the Black Ant, you know, black and was pretty crazy back then. It's before the honey pack was really. You pick it up, man. I pop tune them rhinoceros on.
Interviewer / Commentator
On the.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
On the thing. No, no, that's the Rhino 1000 you talking about. We're talking about the Black Ant don't give you headaches. See the rhino give you some headaches. Black Ant, now that's going. You ready to rock and roll Hydrated with that? Yeah. I mean, what happened, bro? Listen, man, like. Like I said, it's so funny because we sign contracts now with these drug testing companies where we can't bash them and stuff. Now it's so funny they say that, but the thing is. No, why would you do that? Because they made a lot of mess ups before for other fighters in the past and fighters are getting suing them now. You know what I mean? And the main person who started vada name was Victor Conti and he was the biggest dope doctor in all the mlb help football players. So it's a lot of shady gray area with these drug testing companies, right? And let me tell you something. The level of what they, what they find in my system was like 0.00001 of a nanogram. You know what a nanogram is? It's like a point gram of a gram. I'm like, well, who the hell can test for this? How can I know it's even in my system? We go to a party in New York all the time. We'll go hang out. Somebody could touch your drink and you rub your nose. That's a something in your system. So it's a lot of bs And I lost a lot of money because.
Interviewer / Commentator
He'S not even supposed, he wasn't even supposed to be getting no cheeks before the fight, before training camp.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
He said before training camp.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I ain't gonna lie. I go like a week before a fight. Man, I need some, I need some, I need some booty, bro. I ain't gonna lie. Pause. That sound crazy. Yeah, yeah, I need, I need some.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
So I want to go back. You got another question about this.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
So Cho Cha, how did you, how.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Did you get into boxing? Being from Brooklyn, what got you into kickboxing?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Oh my goodness. Actually was a pair of titties, to tell you the truth. It's so funny because I had, I was in Canada for almost two years and you know, just came back to Brooklyn. You know, my mom said, we in Queens. And I said, I lived in Queens. You know, we had a bicycle in the back. Fixed the bicycle. I'm like, I'm back home, I'm riding a bike. But yeah, I had this Canadian mentality, you know, all about it. Hey, they really kind of laid back. Nice guy. Now I left him, left my bike outside, went and get a beef patty, cocoa bread. My bike was gone. I was like, yo, not even home.
Podcast Host (Shopify Ad)
What part of Queens?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I was in Rosedale.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Oh, they were taking yours?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, yeah, Rosedale. Took my bike quick. You know, something like, hey, I ain't been home even an hour when they took My bike. And the switches went off back in my head. I'm like, I gotta get. Get good again. This is not it, man. So funny. A few hours later, I went to the other side of town, which is Valley Stream, which is predominantly Caucasian.
Interviewer / Commentator
Long Island.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, Long island, you know? I mean, so I'm like, a bunch of kids outside leave his bike outside. I got the GT with the pegs on that. So, yeah, I'm about to take this. I jump on this bike. See? I took off, going back to my side of the hood. I saw. So I'm riding a bike. It's a lady in a window. And she was hanging up a tarp, and her titties. It was, like, hanging on the window. And I stopped. I look up, and I'm like, God. She looked down at me. She told me to come in. I'm like, coming? She's like, yeah. So I come. So I'm like, I'm about to see what's up with this. And I'm only, like, 14 at the time. She said, hey, where do you live? I said, I live in Roses across the town. She's like, hey, later on, we're having a kickboxing event. You want to come back? I'll let you in, you check it out. I'm like, I know. Problem. Cool. So I jumped back on a stolen bike. There's nobody now.
Interviewer / Commentator
Did she have her shirt off when you went upstairs?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
She had, like, a tank top. It was all perky and stuff. Name is actually Coach K. You know, I mean, she's. You know, I mean. But still, remember that, you know, Coach K, man, she kind of Spike saved my life back then, you know? I mean, so roll back to Rose up. Dropped the bike in front of crib. Run up, sits on my mom. I'm like, mom, I want to go see this kickboxing fight. She's like, what? I'm like, people about to go fight. I want to see. She's like, nah, I'm gonna stay in the house again. Please, please. He's like, okay, go. Just don't get in no trouble not knowing I just stole his damn bike. So jump back on a bike. Other side of town. Not back to Valley Stream Now I'm not. It was actually a gym. I didn't realize they had, like, a gate in the front, but she opened up the gate. Now it's a whole gym. And I'm like, holy crap. It was empty before, but the whole gym is packed now. So the first fight I ever seen live was actually my boy, and he's NYPD now, he must have been like 65 pounds soaking wet. Trinidadian Kid Cooley. And he was for another one of my boys named Omar. And he's still fighting now. He's from Egypt. He's about £110 at the time. And the smaller guy, Andy, beats the brakes off Omar. And I'm like, yo, if he can do this, I know I can do this. And I begged my mom for, like, two to sign me up. You couldn't pay for, like, after three months. But the sifu, which is like, master in Thailand, said, yo, listen, man, this kid can fight. I'm gonna leave him in the gym. And I never left since that, man. I stayed every day after school, cleaned up. I bought video games for other kids. Me in the gym playing video games after school, and that was like, my haven, man.
Interviewer / Commentator
How'd you get to boxing?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
So I always knew I was gonna box, right? I was a troublemaker from 6 years old. I was gonna box. I didn't know how I was gonna box, you know, I think Mike Tyson was fighting. What's his name? Riddick. And I remember he, you know, Mike was knocking him out or whatever. And the next morning, no, they never folded. No, no, no. And might beat him up, whatever. And I'm like, yo, everybody's watching the fight the next morning. Everybody party Saturday night, record on vch, vhs and watch it on Sunday morning. So I wake up, like, everybody watch this fight again. I'm like, mike beats him up, everybody. Oh, whatever, whatever. So I'm like, always that attention that Mike had to the TV screen. I wanted that I'm gonna be able to box one. I know how I was going box. That's how it's gonna happen. So kickboxing became first in my life, and I became number one in the country for that phone. K1 phone girl. Of course, roll. Croatia, Japan, Germany, you know, for Beat the Lithium champ. But I was a troublemaker, too. I like. I don't like people disrespecting me. I don't mind taking orders, but you're not gonna talk in no kind of way. And one of my good friends to this day name is Terrence Lil T. He was like, yo, mop the floor. I'm like, I'm not mopping Jack and me him and I'm scrapping a little.
Interviewer / Commentator
Bit the floor with you.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
He was really envy size back then, man. It was easy work. It was easy work. But anyway, long story short, I get suspended because the night in the gym, he's the high scenario So I was to listen to him. And he kicked me out for like two weeks on suspension. But not two weeks. I went to Gleason's. So every day I would take the train from Queens all the way to Brooklyn, just a train to learn boxing. And that was what happened. I saw me and my transition in the box. I'm like, my hands got so much better. I went back and forth for many years, man, trying to make bread.
Interviewer / Commentator
Was blimp did in.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Huh?
Interviewer / Commentator
Was blimp.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Blimp was still there. Blimp. Harry Kite was my original trainer.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Boxing coach Zab was in there heavy too.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Zab, yeah, Zab was in there too. I told Zab called me yesterday. Zab's like, yo, what the hell did you do to your head? I said, I'm joining the club, bro.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Were you self bodyguard Security we all.

Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
No, that's animal.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
I know animal, but I seen you around some. I was like, I wonder if he was during that time.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
No, no, I was always around that time. But I was never security per se. But if anybody ever messed yourself, I'm be there regardless.
Interviewer / Commentator
You know what, big baby, you, you, you. I have a theory, right? The nicest, happiest people, the most fun loving people are the ones that really hurt you. Yeah, it's like, it's the guys that act all tough and angry like you ain't worried about you, but it's the fun loving guys that can really hurt you.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
That's right, because we've seen so much already. You know, like, I've seen my boys executed at gunpoint. You know, I've seen dead bodies before. You know what I mean? And that's why I try to change my life. Because I've seen what happened to my cousins. I seen an uncle get 18 years. I seen my other homeboy got two years. My brother got deported to Jamaica for attempted murder. So, you know, my diverse and background in the Caribbean is big. You know, my mother's Belizean. My father's Haitian Dominican. My great grandmother's Jamaican. My father that did raise me is Jamaican. So being around that, you know, Caribbean, we hot head. And I've seen what one second can change your whole entire life. And I tried my best to, like, you know, what if I blow up, I try to bring it back down. Like, no, because that one second changed your whole life. And, you know, boxing, like I said, boxing is my outlet. And that's what I'm trying to do now is help the kids, you know, start to find. I got a foundation last couple years now to help kids. Just bring them out. Just bring them out in the inner city. Just bring out the camp for a weekend, you know. So that's my goal, is to buy 5, 10 acres in Florida, South Florida, you know, man, we got donations ready to go for that. And just build a whole training facility, man. Bringing kids out there, even the pros come out and train with the kids, man, because that's what motivates me. You know, I train the cops and kids in Brooklyn, here in Flatbush. And every day I come, I see little kids that was like, me bad as hell, but they talk so much smack. I'm like, I want to beat this little kid up. But it motivated me because I'm like, it's not hate. It's love. They're like, big, baby, you out of shape, man. What's up? We sparring. I'm like, no, I don't want to spar. You little kid 14, might beat my ass in front of everybody. You know what I mean? So it's just the motivation, love about being my kids, the energy. And I got three kids on my own, and I love it, man. I love it.
Interviewer / Commentator
I know things got real dark for you after you tested positive for the dick pill, right?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, yeah. How did you say it like that?
Interviewer / Commentator
I mean, that was supposed to be a big deal, him and Anthony Johnson. How did you mentally and emotionally come out of that situation? I heard you say you lost your house and other things. How did you mentally and emotionally get out that spin?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Oh, man. Really? Man's God, man. I would really say, man. I mean, I've always believed in God, but my deeper fate, really just like. You know what? It's so funny because I went back to Streets for a little while. You know, I was selling. Selling weed and stuff. And I remember my cousin sent me a couple of them things, man, and I was driving through the city with them in the car. That's before we got legal. This is back in, like, 2020. So, you know, you're getting caught with a Couple pounds on you, man, it's gonna be. You're gonna do some time for that. But, you know, I was driving back through the city, you know, no suspended. Suspended license tag on the Benz was expired. I had temp tag on the bench and all that. And I drive the same route every day, but for some reason, this day when I got this in my car, it's gonna be spot checked. And I say, yo, God, you gotta be kidding me. And I said, if they pull me over just because of my temp tags alone, I'm gonna get pulled over. They're gonna check me. You know what I mean? And I said, you know what? God, I'm like, you know what? You get me through this, I'm gonna start over from scratch and just build me from ground up. And sure enough. So enough, I rolled the windows down, I put the Bob Marley on. I had a polo shirt off, put. I put my polo to the neck. I put the Bob Marley on. I said, if we gonna go up, we go out and start. I pulled up and the captain had a white shirt, looked in the car, he says, and let me go through the spot check. And I told myself, I said, I'm done. I called my cousin, say, I'll take all this crap, man. So I'm done with this stuff, man. I was ever since I started from ground up, man, just training, doing privates, you know, Did a couple training sessions, you know, sold a couple of my toys. And this was just. Man, just lay low, man. Sold the crib. Lived off of that bread for a little bit, and just kind of rebuild myself, man.
Interviewer / Commentator
I want to put things in perspective for people. That was 2019. Jared Miller was supposed to fight Anthony Joshua. I think they say your purse was between 6.5 and 10 million you're supposed to get. Because Anthony Johnson was a huge boxing star. Never fought in America.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, I was gonna smash him. Yeah, My purse was 8,5 for that. Then I had a guaranteed rematch at 17.5.
Interviewer / Commentator
Oh, my God.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I mean, so you ain't get none of it. I ain't getting none of that. You know, I mean, I was. I was gonna. Smoking, bro. I was going. I was. I was training my ass like, I was trying to all my life for that, you know? But like I said, you know, Andy Ruiz is a good friend of mine. Andy capitalized off of that, you know. He was in a tough spot, too, at the time, and he made it for his family, you know. I mean, he's the first Mexican American heavyweight champ ever, you know? And you Know, my, my dad said something to me, you know, he's very spiritual, you know, Haitians, very spiritual. Sprinkle some on your ass. But my dad just said he was like, you know what, son? You don't know what his family did for his, for him to get there. You don't know what his ancestors did for him to get to that point in life. So it's not your time, it's not your time, but you gotta stay, you gotta stay on the ground. And ever since then, man, six years later, I've been pushing, working, working, figuring things out, dealing with management. You know, even before this fight, there's a lot going on before this fight, man, it was so much going on. Not with so much of the promotional company, but my old promoter, you know, Slita, what's his name, see, Demi Sleet, he's con artist, bro, just always trying to find ways to put himself in between fighters and getting their money, you know, because fighting is easy. It's very easy. Fighting's not hard. You know, we, we win, you go to the next level, you build a name for yourself, you go to the next level. It's always people in between that trying to rob the fight, whether it be promoters or managers. And he's not a kind of person that he knows that I'm moving away from him for last, been moving away from him, but he's been constantly taking money from under the table. And I found out about it. So I sue you one time, but it's lawsuits, they kind of halt your career. So I already sat down for a year already. I'm like, listen, let's make a deal. We made a deal. Then I found out he's doing it again. That's what made me listen to Floyd over my own promotional company. When you have own promotional company, there's certain records and contracts you got to see. Now when you're just a fighter, you're independent contractor, like you're showtime. I'm the fighter, here's a promoter, the promoter only going to tell me it's a million table with a network, just give him 10 million. So he got 9 million in the pocket. But now I'm in a promotional level now I got to see all that paperwork now, you know, I'm trying to say, and when I did that, he couldn't hide things from me. And even to this moment, a week before this fight, I got a contract with my. We don't got no contract. The contract been over, I gotta go file bankruptcy on his behind. Last minute, man, I should have Been locked me up. No 200k, 600k here. I mean but it's just, it's hard, man. It's hard. Boxing is a tough game. Like I said, music and hip hop artists. Yes. Sometimes I don't get y' all rights, but people can still know your face because you came up with a hit, right? Boxing, man, that money done, bro. Now you punch drunk, you messed up, you damaged, you can't do nothing. You can't work a regular job. I got CTE or something, you know, I mean, you can't. You're a warrior. It's hard for you to even be civilized. Regular people like you be sitting in the club even when self is this. I was like, yo, why are you so angry sometimes sitting here? I'm like, bro, I'm just, I'm just aggravated the dumb. I'm going home. Because you always in fight mode. It's like your mind always in fight mode. So you got to know to constantly be aware you're in the emotions. Like, you know what? I had enough of this. These guys are drinking and smoking. Time for me to walk out. But some guys don't know how to do that and they always get into nonsense.
Interviewer / Commentator
Who roasted you worse after this last fight? Boxing fans or barbers?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I don't think it's so funny. My Bob, my original barbers is in Rosedale too. And they called me and they said what they just laughed about. I said, bro, you know, they didn't really owes me that bad. But I'm thinking regular fans though. I think every, I think every haha. Davis got me. Tony Barker got me. Valentin from what's her name got me. I man, I think in a 50 cent post on them up. I mean everybody's roasting me online.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
You should pull up to all of them and act like you gonna fight them. Just scare the ish out of them.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Oh yeah, the only one I probably watch out for 50 because 50 got hands, boy. I know for I know 100. I still beat a 50 though.
Interviewer / Commentator
Why you can't be mad at nobody because your headpiece wasn't glued on. How you mad at everybody because your headpiece wasn't glued on.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yo, 50 didn't make a new character for power for me. Like a big like the big like a big crackhead or something with the piece, you know, like. Or like a hidden hitman. Like I'm the special hitman at 50 Cole. Like just pop up. I don't know, you know, 52 you gonna basically been doing.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
What about Harry Black?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I Like that name, you know, Black.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
In the hood, when they put black next to your name, it's hard. Harry Black.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Harry Black.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Harry Black.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
Yeah, he took the video down. He a want nobody know he did.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I'mma tell you. So he getting roasted every yo. He getting death threats from other people. I like, listen, it's so funny. My is gross enough, but it's so, so funny, right? Because I told him, I said, yo, bro, do not post me up on your Instagram. Because he didn't post up that. He put the, the, the, the, the unit on. He just supposed to give me a cut. And it cut came out dope. But I told him, I said, bro, don't post the video again. Because in the back of my mind, I felt like it was gonna come off, right? But I'm like, I'm trying to save him. Don't. Of course, in the next morning before the fight, he posted up with me every. I told my cousin, like I told him, don't post a video. And as soon as we get a fight and they say it coopied off and people tagging him on it, he take it off.
Interviewer / Commentator
I'm trying to find, I can't find him. I'm trying to think that was the real bar. But everybody was wondering though, why. It's like, why you, why are you getting all dolled up and spiffy for a fight anyway?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Box. I'm gonna tell you something about boxes, man. We, well, most of us, I feel like for me, it's like you never know what's gonna happen. You could die in this. You know what I'm trying to say? So for us, it's like my mentality is, I'm going to war, I won't look good and I'm gonna smell good. Look good. Now I don't feel right feel, you know what I mean? So you always get a haircut. You won't be on tv, you know what I mean? You put on a show with entertainment in the day, but it's. This is one job you can actually die in. For real. For real. So when I go in there, we always look good and feel good. You know what I mean? It's an over thing, you know? I mean, so the whole thing was I went in looking good, came on looking for it.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
That's the crazy thing. If you would have died and your.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Wig came on, oh my goodness.
Interviewer / Commentator
What?
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
That's the last memory.
Interviewer / Commentator
Now we don't know whether to bury you with a headpiece on.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Slap the wig back off, bro. Slap it back on. Slap back on.
Interviewer / Commentator
Do you think this moment humanized you? You or turned you into a Halloween costume?
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
What do you mean by humanize me, per se.
Interviewer / Commentator
I just humanize you.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
Relatable, man.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Oh, yeah. 100. 100. You know, I'm a boxer. I can't run no big ass words, bro. So I'm like, I mean, but now, most definitely, I think for sure, because if people that knew me from before always thought I was always a bully, because that's how I got my name in boxing. My bully, I walk. There's no one that never, ever talks smack to me in boxing. Never. Like, I. I was the most avoided guy back then, before AJ took the leap to fight me. You know what I mean? So now it's kind of like, yo, Big, I thought you was a bully, but you mad cool. You mad. I'm like, you know, I'm a little older now, so it's like, you know what? We got to just be who we are, man. Have fun. That kind of mentality was good at that moment. But networks now were so scared of some of that because they don't know how fighters react. You know, even with the fight that happened with the team in the. In. In the MSG the night before, I don't want to say the team name because that's my people. He said, I don't say that's why people running down on. But because it's so funny because a lot of times they have fights in New York and it's like scraps in an audience or whatever. It's never New Yorkers. Like. Like, I pretend the commission and he's mad cool. Shout out to Matt for the NYSE AC in the North Commission that a lot of fights that happen outside in the arena don't be New York fighters. And they're messing up for New York athletes. It's like some reason when people come New York, they all want to show up. And yo, I'm about it, I'm like, bro, New York dudes, we not talking. We just. We just robbing into enjoying the fights, you know? I mean, because we know we home. And the boxing community in New York is so small. We all know each other. Like, if I see you and I don't like you, we spawn money. I bet we might, you know, we gonna throw some blows. But end of the day, we shake hands, keep moving because we know that, you know, we all, we all, we all home, man.
Interviewer / Commentator
So I'm not gonna lie. I'm rooting for you, man. I'm gonna tell you I'm gonna tell this. I'm gonna tell you this is true.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah.
Interviewer / Commentator
When you came out, I'm in the group chat, I'm like, big baby about to get smoked tonight. That's literally what I said to the group chat, right? Me and they're talking about. I said, big baby about to get smoked tonight. Then I'm watching the fight. I'm like, yo, he not even throwing his hands. Like, he not. He, you know, you. You be moving around, you ain't doing nothing. I'm like, what's up with him? And then when the headpiece started flapping, I was just like, this is just beyond embarrassment. But then I was like, like, he gotta win now. Now I'm like, okay, now you gotta go out there and win because you can't. You can't. You can't lose and have your headpiece looking like that. But what I liked, or what turned the tire for me, was when you just took it off, did the little dance. I'm like, all right, I'm back. I gotta. I'm rolling with big baby.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I appreciate you, bro.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
You guys don't know. He only had three weeks to prepare for this fight. He was a last minute ad. Three weeks is not a very long time at all.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
This guy been active, man. He fought three times last year. He beat another form of my opponent, you know, so it was like, it was like I said before, it was a lot in and out of camp, you know, I'm trying to say. And it was fine. Like, you know what? Just give me a fight, give me a call. And they say, yo, we got a guy for you. I'm like, like my height biggest too. Like, I'll take it. Let's go. I'm a warrior, you know, I mean, like I said, it's hard sometimes. You switch the switch on. And the first three, four rounds, the switch wasn't dead. So I think I got pray to God, said, God, whatever you do, do not let me fall tonight. I said, please, God, I need this one back. Because I've been took over last year, all these lawsuits. And the toupee, I believe was my blessing. Because the minute I took that toupee went off, it was like, I'm coming out. I want the world to go. It was like, yo, I swear to God, I mean, the minute that came off, I'm like, it's time to beat his mom. I'm gonna get his ass now. Pause. You know what I mean?
Interviewer / Commentator
Like, so it was like Saturday graphics. You never seen.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, man.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
So what's next for Big baby.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Oh, man, we got a. We got a bunch of stuff on the table right now, man. The main thing right now is me, my team, my venom, my management. Everett Advert actually manages Boots Ennis as well, too. I think he's actually works with Diggs too, the football player. So they have a couple of big things on the table. We just got to kind of map it out, see if we go strategically from there. But title shot definitely by the summertime. We're looking at right now. Actually, the guy that did caught the wig eventually was Warley's a ball guy in the audience. He was supposed to fight back in July in England. That fight got canceled and he actually became the champ now because Usyk stepped down and gave his title back. So he's talking about coming to America. So I'd be maybe a title shot with him in America, but I like to get one more tune up, get the rust off, you know, get the, you know, just, you know, get the oils, grease in the joints a little bit. So.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Caught your wig.
Interviewer / Commentator
I thought it was a girl.
DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club Host)
Yeah, I thought it was.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
I thought, well, maybe they're passing around, man. The girl had it and then he gave it to. He took a picture with it, you know, it was fun. It was fun, though.
Interviewer / Commentator
You need a better showing in your next fight.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, 100.
Interviewer / Commentator
Yeah. You didn't look good. Sad. Yeah.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
You won.
Interviewer / Commentator
And they said he won by hair.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
Yeah, listen, the hair performance kind of like, you know, did. Made. Made the performance dull down the boxing performance. You know, people don't even talk about the body, talk about the hair.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
I mean, the whole world could resonate with.
Podcast Host (Shopify Ad)
Man.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend
Wigs fall off all the time.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
My girl be in the bathroom. I look at her like this. Who I got with, I'm like, goddamn. But I like, you know what?
Interviewer / Commentator
But it gives you a chance.
Big Baby Miller (Boxer)
You know what? It's so funny because my girl has a hair company. Yeah, I'm trying to say hello. Halo Hair. You know what I'm trying to say? So she has a hair. Shout out to my girl. Team Halo Hair. You know, shout out to my ot, Big Baby Biggie Be Care Foundation. Check it out, man. We gonna open up the GoFundMe. We want to get these 5, 10 acres for the kids, man, and. And get a good full training facility out there in South Florida, man. So tune in. Hit my Instagram on Big Baby Miller. Tick tock, baby Miller.
Big Baby Miller's Supporter / Friend

The Breakfast Club – INTERVIEW: Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller On Toupee Incident, Failed Drug Test, Anthony Joshua, Hardships + More
Date: February 2, 2026
Hosts: DJ Envy, Jess Hilarious, Charlamagne Tha God
Guest: Jarrell “Big Baby” Miller
This candid and hilarious episode of The Breakfast Club features heavyweight boxer Jarrell "Big Baby" Miller fresh off his much-discussed victory at Madison Square Garden. The conversation revolves around the viral “toupee incident” during his latest fight, his career’s ups and downs—including his failed drug test that cost him the bout against Anthony Joshua—his Brooklyn upbringing, and his journey of personal growth and redemption.
Miller brings his trademark humor, resilience, and self-reflection, offering listeners deeper insight into the real man behind the headlines. The vibe is both playful and honest, with jokes, self-roasting, and genuine talk about hardships and comebacks.
How It Happened ([02:47–06:58])
Miller recounts how his makeshift hairpiece (a glued-on unit) came loose mid-fight, creating a viral moment:
“It's so funny because I didn't realize it came over, but I felt a draft. Like, I felt like I had like an indoor AC moment.”
—Big Baby Miller [06:23]
Regulation & Aftermath ([08:10–08:49])
“It’s not regulated or approved per se, but … I was thinking about what if they canceled the fight because I got this piece on.”
—Big Baby Miller [08:16]
Public Roasting
“I think every haha. Davis got me. Tony Barker got me. ... 50 Cent post on them up. Everybody's roasting me online.”
—Big Baby Miller [29:35]
Miller addresses comments about his “sloppy” physique:
“Anytime I get like that kind of cup, like, it pushes my butt. I'm pretty solid, man ... I’m not, like, a 317 sloppy guy.”
—Big Baby Miller [09:05]
“The toupee, I believe, was my blessing. ... The minute that came off, I'm like, it's time to beat his ass now.”
—Big Baby Miller [35:51]
Career-Defining Missed Opportunity ([10:18–11:39], [26:12–26:34])
“I beat myself many times over the years because of that ... But I'm still alive. Like, there's plenty of superstars and stars that had to reborn and restart over 30.”
—Big Baby Miller [10:32]
“My purse was $8.5 [million] for that. Then I had a guaranteed rematch at $17.5 [million]. ... I was training my ass off, like, I was training all my life for that.”
—Big Baby Miller [26:26]
Details of the Incident ([11:39–14:20])
“Let me tell you something. A $15 penis pill from the AAB store ... the level of what they find in my system was like 0.00001 of a nanogram. ... I lost a lot of money because of that.”
—Big Baby Miller [11:42], [13:16]
Support & Transparency
“He is very humble and kind. He's lovable. And that is what happened. Least he didn't ... lie about it. That's why he's an inspiration, because of his transparency.”
—Big Baby Miller’s Supporter [12:12]
