KFC chicken and waffles. Fresh, juicy chicken and rich waffles with syrup. It's the kind of sweet and savory order that will make people stop whatever they're doing and stare in envy. So as you dig into your mouth watering original recipe chicken and warm waffles or dip them in your syrup, try not to eat near people crossing the street, driving cars, handling heavy objects, or operating heavy machinery. You know, for their safety, KFC chicken and waffles is the order people are gonna envy. KFC is finger licking good.

D. Ray Davis
The Breakfast Club.
DJ Envy
Morning, everybody. It's DJ Envy. Just hilarious Charlamagne. The guy. We are the Breakfast Club. We got a special guest in the building. Just niche.
Jess Hilarious
Welcome back.
DJ Envy
How you feeling?
Jess Hilarious
Oh, man, I feel great job. Thank God. Yeah.
D. Ray Davis
Last time you was here, you was talking about putting out your special. Now you got your special actually out.
Jess Hilarious
The special. Drop job.
D. Ray Davis
How'd it feel?
Angela Yee
Congratulations, first of all.
Jess Hilarious
Thank you. We got it done. Like, and it's. The feedback has been just crazy. So it's really like top five.
D. Ray Davis
And you did it yourself. You funded it.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah. Thank you. You paid for it too. Thank. Did you watch it? You win it?
D. Ray Davis
I did see some of it. No, I did because you did it all with the selfie.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, you in it. You in the special.
DJ Envy
Did you get them clear? Did you clear them or not?
Jess Hilarious
When I filmed y'all the first time, I said y'all in the special.
D. Ray Davis
That's right.
DJ Envy
That was the clearance you did?
D. Ray Davis
Ye, I imagine.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah. So turned out real dope. So. Thank you.
DJ Envy
How much did it cost in. In totality to type of questions? Cuz she att. She f it herself.
Jess Hilarious
Well, it was really like $100,000 special, but we got it done for about a third.
D. Ray Davis
You did it with yourself.
Angela Yee
I know that's right.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, we had to make it do what it do, so I did it with my phone and then we had some real cameras too. But we did put that selfie shot in there because that was the whole. Yeah, yeah. So that went crazy. Can I cut some hair?
DJ Envy
Yes.
Jess Hilarious
Okay. Thank you. I got my first lady jacket on. I ain't know what to be like that, but. Yeah, yeah, it just. It. We didn't raise all the money either. Like I did the Gofundme. I'm thinking people was gonna give me more. Like that girl that got hit in the head with the brick. Yeah, they gave her like $50,000. So I was like, let me just ask for 20. Like I asked for like 15 and I thought I would get like 20.
D. Ray Davis
But you ain't had no tragedy though. Yeah, you gotta have a tragedy.
Jess Hilarious
Well, I knew that I would have hit myself in the head with a brick had I not known. I thought that just me trying to do it myself would be enough.
DJ Envy
People was like, nah, you heard about that lady the other day? She called a kid, a little boy, a nigga, and she put up a gofundme and she raised over 600,000, right? Did she get a million?
Angela Yee
Close to a million now, but Yesterday it was 700,000.
Jess Hilarious
Look, okay, and I've been calling kids niggas my whole life. Not a dime on my gofundme, but, you know, it's just crazy. And yeah, I thought a lot of people would kind of just donate to it, like people I know with money. And I'm like, I ain't asked for that much. But my was like, yes, you know, get it out the mud. And we did. And it turned out it's really top five. I'm not even lying. In the last 10 years, what's your favorite comedy special in the last 10 years? Don't say Dave Chappelle because he. We all know it's Dave Chappelle, but Dave Chappelle aside, that ain't my favorite.
D. Ray Davis
But he top five.
DJ Envy
He's one of my favorites. One of my favorites.
D. Ray Davis
Sticks and stones would probably be in my top five of the last ten.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah.
D. Ray Davis
Neil Brennan actually has two that I probably would put in my top.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, five the last ten years? Yeah.
D. Ray Davis
Who else?
DJ Envy
Oh, no, I'm trying to think of the specials that came out. What else came out? Joe Coy was a funny one, but I'm trying to think.
Angela Yee
I can't think of.
DJ Envy
I can't think of the ones that came.
D. Ray Davis
Oh, damn. Andrew Schultz to life. That's messed up. That three of my top five is white people. But they really. It's really funny.
Jess Hilarious
It was really good.
D. Ray Davis
It was good specials.
Angela Yee
Yeah, I like.
D. Ray Davis
I gotta watch. I got. I gotta really check in with self serve.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, you gotta. You gotta check it out.
Angela Yee
I gotta watch more. Stand up. Damn, man. Yeah, I'm trying to think, like, two of them in the last 10.
Jess Hilarious
I think people are not really caring about comedy specials no more because people.
Angela Yee
Just been putting out garbage, anything, you know what I mean?
Jess Hilarious
So it's not special. No more like, people like, okay, another comics. But then it's like, okay.
D. Ray Davis
I don't know any comedians who watch other people's specials like that, though.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, if it's a good special, we watch. Keith Robson had a really good comedy special, Different Strokes.
D. Ray Davis
Oh, yeah. Different Strokes was good. Different Strokes, right?
Angela Yee
Yeah, yeah. No. And Earthquake, latest one. Even though it was, like. It was, like, short, but it was so good, it just came out, like, last year or two years ago. Earthquakes. Yeah, yeah.
Jess Hilarious
So, yeah, People. I don't know. I guess people. Well, this one is real dope. So y'all can watch this one and then let me know.
Angela Yee
It's just you by yourself. You got any openers?
Jess Hilarious
Nope.
Angela Yee
It was just me because you know how some people.
Jess Hilarious
Oh, yeah, no, I had no openers. I went straight in. It was all me. Then Kevin Hart was in it. Charlamagne was in it. Yeah, I was in it. D Ray, D.C. young, fly.
DJ Envy
All right.
Jess Hilarious
People was in it. Don't let me nobody know. But when I had my cell phone, I really was getting that footage. And we just put it in there.
Angela Yee
And then that shows the reality part of it. So what else is it? Did you go around in Chicago and.
Jess Hilarious
Like, every city I went to, yeah. So it was like half documentary, half special.
Angela Yee
Okay.
Jess Hilarious
Filmed all by me. So that was the running joke. Like, I'm filming my special, but it was really just me on my phone.
Angela Yee
And that stands out. That's different from that sets it apart from every other.
Jess Hilarious
You got a couple of little sketches in between the comedy. And, you know, I don't know if anybody. Anybody who followed me know that at my shows. I do. Who is this? Pull my phone out and take Pictures of couples in the crowd. So I was doing that for a special, and this. This guy, he didn't want to take the picture. He was like, oh, dude with a hat. And I thought he was playing at first. I was like, just take the picture. You know, everybody else. Everybody else was smiling and. But yeah, he didn't want to take pictures. So his girl, they end up walking out in the middle of the special. And we kept it in there because I told him, I said, we're not taking this out. You know, like, she should have just.
Angela Yee
Really chilled out, right?
Jess Hilarious
She walked out, the whole crowd was like, oh. The cameraman followed her all the way out the room. So, yeah, people were going in because that clip went viral. And people was like, oh, you bogus for like, taking pictures of people, girl.
Angela Yee
But look, that's more promotion and just.
Jess Hilarious
Stop cheating and sitting in the front row, like dust in the back, stupid.
D. Ray Davis
Hey, don't take your side chick to no comedy show.
DJ Envy
Yeah, he's not sitting in the front.
Jess Hilarious
Where you gonna sit in the front, Take pictures? I guess. I guess she probably about to take tickets, but.
DJ Envy
Did his wife hit you yet?
Jess Hilarious
No.
DJ Envy
Her husband?
Jess Hilarious
Yeah. And the lady said it wasn't that deep because I did talk to her after the show. I'm like, I'm playing that in there, if that's okay with you. She's like, yeah. Oh, yeah.
D. Ray Davis
What I like about the special, too, D Raid Davis. He was an EP on it.
Jess Hilarious
Yes.
D. Ray Davis
And that's big, being that D Ray is from Chicago and you from Chicago. I like seeing people from, you know, each other's cities supporting each other in that way. How did he become an ep?
Jess Hilarious
I reached out. I said, I need you. You know, I toured with D Ray for like three. Three years when I first started hitting the road. So I just, you know, I was hitting the people that I was cool with and I knew probably had it. So D Wrek was like, no problem. What you need? And he was like, really? The. About the only one. Yeah. So I'm like, that's cool. It happened how it was supposed to happen.
D. Ray Davis
He was the only comedian.
Jess Hilarious
You mean like that supported or that once been ep? Because I reached out to a few to be an EP on it. So, yeah, he was down.
DJ Envy
How difficult is it coming up in a comedy game? Because it seemed like you had a rough come up. Like people don't show up for you as much as you expect.
Jess Hilarious
And, you know, it. It's not even that. I just think people feel like I'm okay if that Makes sense. Like, oh, niece good. She don't need it. It's like, no, I do for this special. But everybody like, oh, nish funny. She could do this. So I feel like it's more so that then I don't want to help her. It's like, no, she got it.
Angela Yee
But then probably. Is this like, the first time you've ever reached out for any type of help anyway? Because you're not the type that really.
Jess Hilarious
You know, do that.
Angela Yee
Yeah.
Jess Hilarious
So I think they feel it's like, no, you good. I don't gotta.
Angela Yee
But I'm asking.
Jess Hilarious
I'm asking nigga for a little put.
Angela Yee
You know what I mean?
Jess Hilarious
Yeah. So. But no, everybody really rock with me. It's been good. Coming up. Comedy's been real. It's been good. I got no complaints that nobody gave me no money for this. That's my only complaint. But no, but you got what you.
D. Ray Davis
Supposed to get, though.
Jess Hilarious
And it came out real good, so I couldn't have asked for a better. I'm very proud of it and I feel like it's real special because of the way I had to do it.
Angela Yee
How is. And congratulations is on Amazon Prime. How are they with pushing it? Like, marketing?
Jess Hilarious
How? Well, since it's not an Amazon prime original. Original. All the marketing is still on me. So we still. We still mark. We had a Times Square billboard. Shout out to fair entre. She got us the billboard right in Times Square. So we. We still pushing. We're just pushing. We're gonna be pushing. We're gonna do a promo.
Angela Yee
Gotcha.
Jess Hilarious
We're doing like a Watch party tour. So we did do a screening last night at Hannibal's new club, Shout out to Hannibal Isola. So we did a screen in there.
D. Ray Davis
Hannibal Burrs.
Jess Hilarious
Hannibal Burrs got a comedy club.
DJ Envy
He's up here this morning.
D. Ray Davis
He in there now.
Jess Hilarious
Where he at?
DJ Envy
In the back.
D. Ray Davis
That nigga must have been hiding from y'all.
DJ Envy
He in the green room, is he?
Angela Yee
He probably knew you were coming up here. Yeah.
Jess Hilarious
That's so funny. He's just here. Okay. So, yeah, we was at Hannah club last night. That's why we all hung over.
D. Ray Davis
So Hannibal probably ducking people from Chicago.
Angela Yee
He was like, I hung over Hannibal like.
D. Ray Davis
Hannibal like, I'm here, cuz. I'm trying to avoid.
Jess Hilarious
People from Chicago looked out too. He let us do the screening and all that.
Angela Yee
Did you really get kicked out of a weight loss camp?
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, they. If you drink, they kick you out the program.
DJ Envy
Drink what? Liquor?
Jess Hilarious
Yes.
DJ Envy
You have liquor at the camp?
Jess Hilarious
How you. Well, no, you can't. It's. It's a. No, it's strict. No liquor. It's a program. Yeah, I.
Angela Yee
How do you get caught?
Jess Hilarious
Because people take pictures of me where they're drinking my hand because they're stupid and I tell them don't post nothing, so I think they'd be stalking my. My Instagram.
Angela Yee
Dang.
Jess Hilarious
What.
Angela Yee
What was the weight loss camp for? Like what? Well.
DJ Envy
Was it for someone?
Jess Hilarious
Ripple blazer. I've never been able to close it.
Angela Yee
Right, right, right. Okay. Hey, yo, I guess I'm asking like where. Where was it at? Like, was it. Was it for a show or was it was like an actual.
Jess Hilarious
Oh, like. No, like we out. No, it's. It's a. It's a weight loss camp. They got like seven of them in the city. So it's just a program. Yeah, we wasn't actually like. We wasn't climbing up.
Angela Yee
And did you try again after getting kicked out or. You are bad.
Jess Hilarious
I always try, but I feel like they need to let liquor be a part of my program. If they could incorporate like a couple of shots, cuz that's zero carbs.
D. Ray Davis
But why you can't drink though? It's not like it's a rehab.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, well, it slows your metabolism and it with your results.
D. Ray Davis
So they see you eating the candy bar, would they kick you out?
Angela Yee
No, exactly.
D. Ray Davis
That's my point. Right.
Jess Hilarious
But yeah, they, they, they heavy on.
D. Ray Davis
The liquor and you already had paid them.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, they don't get your money back either. They just kick that ass out. That's crazy. But you know, it. It did help.
Angela Yee
Cuz they probably feel like you paid to be and you ain't taking it serious. N leave.
Jess Hilarious
It's like I take it serious. I just want a couple shots. Right. Do with that what you want, but. And I feel like you that big niche, right, Charlemagne? Yeah, I jump rope. I'm a fitness instructor now.
D. Ray Davis
All right.
DJ Envy
What?
Jess Hilarious
I'm a fitness instructor now. I do jump. I don't know if y'all probably don't follow me, but I started these jump rope challenges two years ago and I just did 100 days of jump. I jumped rope every day for 100 days.
Angela Yee
100 days?
Jess Hilarious
Oh, I shoot for 500 jumps, but most times I go longer. But minimally. 500 jumps that take about 10 minutes. It's not even right.
Angela Yee
Damn, you just jumping.
Jess Hilarious
Just listen to music. Jumping sitting down, you know, I take my time.
Angela Yee
How the hell you jump and sit down?
Jess Hilarious
Cuz like I take a break.
D. Ray Davis
She rests. J.
DJ Envy
I'm like, come on, it don't be 500 straight.
Jess Hilarious
No, no. I don't do them straight. But if I have to hurry up and get done, I will do, like, I could do 250 straight.
DJ Envy
Okay.
Jess Hilarious
Doing 200 much. I don't try to force myself to do that.
DJ Envy
Jess was like, would you do 10 and then sit down two hours?
Jess Hilarious
But I started doing that because it was something easier I could do every day. I just had to work on my discipline. And so I do small challenges. I would do like a 10 day, 14 day. People just watched me. So, like, at the new year, I said, I'm gonna do 100. And so January 1st, I was like, I'm gonna do 100 days to jump. And I did it. Yeah. Thank you. I did it. And I got all these people now. Just started a 21.
DJ Envy
It's a big challenge online right now. A lot of people are joining in on the challenge.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, a lot of people joining in on the challenge. So it's 21 days jumping with just niche. So. Yeah. And they like, I don't know. So I guess I'm a. A guru.
D. Ray Davis
I do what everybody else doing. Just doing oic. Mount Majaro. What's it called?
Angela Yee
I needed some mount.
DJ Envy
Something like that.
Jess Hilarious
I wanted to do some. I don't. Obamacare. They don't take that. Oh, yeah, yeah. I just need like some care credit or something, cuz I would have got those in bed.
Angela Yee
But I like the way you doing it. I like the way you doing it. It's like a whole movement now. It's good for your platform. It's positive. You know what I mean? It's empowering. That's what's up.
Jess Hilarious
Thank you.
Angela Yee
Yeah, for sure.
Jess Hilarious
Y'all could do y'all jump rope. Tag me. No, you keep your jacket on, Charlemagne. Like, but also, I was gonna say we're gonna start doing a. I'm gonna do like a joke and jump.
Angela Yee
Okay.
Jess Hilarious
Health fest in August.
DJ Envy
Okay. I thought you would see a joker jump. I'm like, she gonna be jumping and.
Jess Hilarious
Telling jokes the hell out. Yeah, no, it'll be. Well, I got some fitness instructors coming in, and then I got a couple comments coming in. So we're gonna work out and then we gonna tell some jokes and we're gonna get on home. So. Yeah, we go.
Angela Yee
Okay. Congratulations on your new man, too.
DJ Envy
You got a new boo.
Jess Hilarious
He's the same boo from last time.
Angela Yee
Okay.
Jess Hilarious
It's like three years now.
Angela Yee
Oh, okay.
Jess Hilarious
All right.
Angela Yee
I didn't see. See, I Didn't see you last time you was here. We've seen each other, but I didn't know you had a new man.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, yeah, I'm doing good. This one lasting, they usually don't last because he understands the lifestyle. Like dating a female entertainer is. It's tough. It's always, you know, so you just got to deal with your girl being out and gone and around men.
Angela Yee
And is he. Is he an industry? He not.
Jess Hilarious
He not in the industry, but he's an entrepreneur, so he gets that lifestyle, too.
Angela Yee
And is it. Does he ever want to come to shows? Does he come with you? Is it hard to bring him around?
Jess Hilarious
No, he's an extrovert, so he's out. And he's funny, too, so he's out. He don't mind coming to a show, and I think that is what helps. Cause people who homebodies, they be like, you going to another comedy show? After the comedy show, then you gotta go. Yes, nigga. I'll see you when I get back.
DJ Envy
So why do you think this one lasted so long? Cause he understands you.
Jess Hilarious
He understands me, and he understands that. That this is. Yeah, I know what I gotta do.
D. Ray Davis
What I find interesting, too, is that you. Y'all went to Jamaica to, like, like, asap. After y'all met, right?
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, right away.
DJ Envy
Like.
D. Ray Davis
Like you met him. And how. How long?
Jess Hilarious
Three weeks.
D. Ray Davis
Three weeks?
Angela Yee
Yeah.
D. Ray Davis
And you trusted this man to go out the country?
Jess Hilarious
I needed a vacation, sir.
Angela Yee
Okay.
Jess Hilarious
I got. Trust this. I'm trying to get some days off.
D. Ray Davis
Work, but, you know, when you go on a vacation with somebody, you know, they expecting the cheeks.
Jess Hilarious
True.
DJ Envy
That is true. If he paid for it, we don't.
Jess Hilarious
Know who paid for it. He paid for it. That is three weeks for the cheeks. But, yeah, y'all get in my business now. But yeah, I mean, we clicked. So it was chemistry right away.
D. Ray Davis
You know, it's interesting. Cause you and Jess. Cause Jess talks about how she ain't wait with her man at all either. So all of these people with These Joan Clayton 60 day, 90 day rules.
Jess Hilarious
I don't think it gotta be no 60 day, 90 day. It's when we feel like it.
Angela Yee
Yeah. It wasn't even three weeks for me, so that's good. You held out, sis. Yeah, cuz it was the first date for me, and.
Jess Hilarious
And y'all still together. See, y. I feel like the quicker, the better, baby.
D. Ray Davis
Engaged, Married. I think they got married on the low, all that.
Angela Yee
Yeah.
Jess Hilarious
I just feel like if. If. If you feel a connection, it don't take no. 90 days. It don't take two days in your case.
DJ Envy
And you are nervous.
Jess Hilarious
Instant. Instant connection.
Angela Yee
Right.
DJ Envy
And like Charlotte said, you weren't nervous at all going to another country with somebody that you didn't really know.
Jess Hilarious
No, I really liked the. You know what was crazy? Chicago we had. We knew a lot of the same people, like, so it was surprising that we didn't know each other, because literally, the circle.
Angela Yee
He's from Chicago, too. Got you.
Jess Hilarious
So his friends. I know his friends. He knows something. And I'm like, how? I ain't know you? But I feel like I met him when I was supposed to, because had I met him anytime before that, I'd have been like, nah.
Angela Yee
Okay.
D. Ray Davis
You joke that you have. You always joke that you had two months to get married before you turn 40, but now you're 41.
Jess Hilarious
I'm 40. I'll be 41. I'll be 41. July.
DJ Envy
No, not your age. I mean, I throw that on you like you had too much.
Angela Yee
She jokes about it, though, but honestly, you don't look 40.
Jess Hilarious
Oh, thank you, Mr. Ponytails. I don't know.
Angela Yee
It might be a little baby face.
Jess Hilarious
I don't know.
Angela Yee
You just don't look.
D. Ray Davis
Has the pressure eased off over time? You're like, I'm not gonna put so much pressure on myself about it.
Jess Hilarious
Well, I'll be 41 in July. Okay. Just yet.
DJ Envy
Don't put that on me yet.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, yeah. But no, I still. It ain't eased off. I guess we had our conversation that we needed to have, so that made.
DJ Envy
Well, y'all had a convo.
Jess Hilarious
Yeah, we did. So I understand. Well, the combo was he knows that I want to be married.
DJ Envy
Okay.
Jess Hilarious
And he wants to do it, but he wants to do it right.
Angela Yee
The right way.
Jess Hilarious
Yes.
DJ Envy
What's the right way for him? Do you know? Do y'all.
Jess Hilarious
I guess he wants to, like, do it up. And I said, I don't need all do it up. We just need to be married, so. But he wants to be. He want to do it.
DJ Envy
What would your way to do it? Like, if you were like, what would you want?
Jess Hilarious
Oh, I would rather go away. I like destination. Yes.
Angela Yee
That's married.
Jess Hilarious
And come back and have, like, a party like that.
D. Ray Davis
What if it's another city?
DJ Envy
Yeah, what if it's another city?
Angela Yee
Kidding me.
DJ Envy
What's up, brother?
Angela Yee
Oh, wow. Kidding me.
D. Ray Davis
How are you, King?
DJ Envy
What's up, bro?
Angela Yee
Oh, wow.
D. Ray Davis
Speak. Speaking of God. The God just popped in.
DJ Envy
Yeah, he just. Just walk in.
Angela Yee
Oh, my goodness.
Jess Hilarious
What is going on?
DJ Envy
Oh.
D. Ray Davis
As he gets on his knees right here.
Jess Hilarious
Oh, my God. This is.
D. Ray Davis
Lady, you got to ask the question, stupid. You got to ask the question.
Jess Hilarious
Let's go.
D. Ray Davis
Tanisha, will you marry me?
Jess Hilarious
Yes.
Angela Yee
Holding.
Jess Hilarious
Do this on a birthday a.
D. Ray Davis
Yeah.
DJ Envy
Congratulations. Yeah, King, congratulations.
D. Ray Davis
Yeah, King, Jess is over here tearing up.
Angela Yee
Oh, my goodness.
D. Ray Davis
Yeah, King.
Angela Yee
Y'all make some noise with the five.
D. Ray Davis
Yeah, that's right. Niche.
Angela Yee
Wow.
Jess Hilarious
I got this fake ring on. I had to move.
Angela Yee
She good on my nerves. Oh, God, yes.
Jess Hilarious
Of course y'all knew about this.
Angela Yee
Girl, I ain't knew a damn thing.
Jess Hilarious
I did.
Angela Yee
I swear I didn't know. I didn't know. I think they knew. The men knew. I didn't know anything.
DJ Envy
Yeah, we wanted your real reaction, Jess.
Jess Hilarious
Yo, that's.
DJ Envy
Congratulations.
D. Ray Davis
That's amazing, man.
DJ Envy
Well, definitely check out her special.
D. Ray Davis
Now tell all your family and friends. Stop asking you.
DJ Envy
That's right.
D. Ray Davis
Her special.
DJ Envy
Just Niche Self Serve is on Amazon Prime. I figure y'all want to get back and do what y'all gotta do to do, you know. Congratulations.
Angela Yee
Congratulations, babe. Congratulations. Really can have it all. You got your special, your husband. Do your thing. Y'all. Congratulations.
D. Ray Davis
You still sitting down? It look like you're still sitting down.
Jess Hilarious
This is crazy.
D. Ray Davis
I'm happy for you.
DJ Envy
I'm happy for you.
Jess Hilarious
Thank you so much, y'all. Damn. Y'all let me crack. I got a real cry. Okay.
DJ Envy
She said a real cry.
Angela Yee
It's okay. He over there looking like he can't wait to tear your ass. Yes. Yes. I can't stop moving yet.
Jess Hilarious
I am Eugene. Did you know? No. No idea.
Angela Yee
Yeah.
Jess Hilarious
Who did you tell?
D. Ray Davis
It don't matter. He's like, why you asking all these personal questions?
Jess Hilarious
Y'all?
DJ Envy
