1. KNOW THE PURPOSE

Why do we need the Holy Spirit? The Spirit is not given for our entertainment, but for our empowerment. He gives us the supernatural boldness to stand up and speak up for Christ.

2. STAY IN PROXIMITY

The disciples were recognized because they had "been with Jesus." Are you intentionally placing yourself near the presence of God, or are you keeping your distance?

3. LIVE IN PURSUIT

On the day of Pentecost, they were all meeting together in expectation. God responds to spiritual hunger. Are you genuinely hungry for what God wants to do in and through your life?

4. PREPARE YOUR POSTURE

The wind and fire filled the house where they were sitting. To be filled, we have to be empty of ourselves. Are you surrendered enough to receive what the Holy Spirit wants to pour out?
