Okay, so I'm so excited because guess what? My paperback of Abundant Ever after is coming out on 11 11. How cool is that? Simon and Schuster said that they picked that date without Even realizing that 1111 is kind of that date that's like known for synchronicity and that's what the whole book is about. So I'm really excited. It would mean the world to me if you would pre order a paperback. And there's so many perks. If you pre order one copy of the paperback, you get to come, you get a virtual ticket to a live event we're doing that day. If you order three co, you can have a free in person ticket to the event we're doing in person in Los Angeles. If you order five books, five free order of paperback, you get to come sit in the front row and get some perks. And if you order 22 copies, just the first few that do this, I'm.

Hey, it's Kathy. I just wanted to share a bonus episode from the workshop that we're doing right now. It's been so much fun and so good in there, such good energy. And there's more live calls so so you can still join us. Don't miss out. It's free. You can go to Kathy Heller.com workshop and take a listen. I can't wait to dive in. We are going to do a few really fun things today. I'm going to talk about this little one because I teased this yesterday. This is. Of all the props. This is a cute prop to have. I had to go looking for it because it used to be on my desk and then my daughter took it but I found it and here she is. So we'll talk about what this is. We're also going to talk about this. Does anyone know that I wrote this book before I wrote this book? So type of one if you've ever heard of this book, this book is called don't keep your day job. Some of you are OGs. You've been with me for a while. My podcast, when it first started, was called don't keep your day job. Because why? Because I believe that we're not here to do a job. We're here to do our life's work. And our life's work is not always our job. Ain't that the truth? And sometimes we realize that we've been living someone else's dream and it's time to live our own. So welcome back, everybody, if you're just coming in. So when I first started my podcast, it was called don't keep your day job. And the whole, whole point of that podcast was to make the declaration that we are not meant to sort of do what it is that the world tells us to do. I don't know how many of you have ever read Gay Hendrick. He wrote a book called the big Leap, but he talks about how, unfortunately, most people live their life playing in their zone of excellence. And it seems fine. They're doing something, it's excellent, it's fine. But what they're missing out on is their zone of genius. And my contention is that God made every single person deliberately, that every soul came here because we have a divine assignment. And each of us has been assigned, each of us has a purpose to our life because we came to make the world more whole. And my daughters like to do puzzles, and my 8 year old is famous for losing some of the pieces. And my husband's always like, put them back in the Ziploc or make sure that you have all the pie. And he's right. Because if you've ever done a puzzle and you finish the puzzle and you're missing one piece, it doesn't matter if the piece is in the right hand corner, it doesn't matter if it's in the center. If there's a missing piece, it feels off. There's a missing piece. And what I believe is that every single one of us is a piece of this puzzle. And that without each of us being our authentic, unique selves, the world is not complete. Because there never was you and there never will be you. You are one and only. You are one of one. And so, you know, you came here this week because you wanted to learn how to make your life more abundant. And Taiko1, if you feel like that's starting to crystallize a little bit, I love that. Well, I think that the, the biggest way actually that we make our lives abundant is by being true. To our design, like actually living authentically. And so many studies have now been done that show that authenticity is the most powerful, most most magnetic vibration. And really authenticity is wholeness. Right? When somebody is being truly themselves, they're not wearing a mask, they're not performing, they're just being themselves. It is the most intoxicating, magnetic thing to be around. Because what is it doing? It's a person who's not trying to control the way other people perceive them. It's a person who's just being. And when you're just being yourself, you give other people permission to be themselves. And so what I want to talk about today is how do we wake up from the big old distraction and really call attention to the fact that there are so many ways that we have self abandoned. And the most delicious, most off, most abundant life is the one that is most authentic to feel free, to feel like yourself. So I want to do a couple exercises. I want to hopefully start to expand your perspective on this and hopefully have you walk away with some clarity. But I want to start by telling you my personal sort of journey with all of this. You know, I think that there's an amazing TED talk by Sir Ken Robinson, who passed away. And it's all about creativity, it's all about education, it's all about children. And I heard him speak live in person. I went to see him with Wayne Gretzky. They were talking about, you know, living into our potential. And he was talking about how there is always this moment when people get to the age of it could be 28, it could be 35, it could be 40, where they've made it through school, they made it through adolescence. They show up in their life and somewhere in their adult life, they're walking from the car to the office, or they're walking from the supermarket back to their house or whatever it is. And it hits them that they signed up for something and they're not sure if this is the biggest, best, most happy version of life. And they say to themselves, I don't understand. I checked all the right boxes. I went to school, I got decent grades, I was a good person. I even went to grad school. I got a job. I have a 401k, whatever it is. And I'm not really happy what happened? Why am I not feeling the joy that they promised me? And I have been coaching and teaching and writing books and hosting workshops for. I really actually started doing that in 2007. And I'll talk more about that later. At some point, if you want. But what I have come to find out is that so many people are living lives of this like, quiet, lonely feeling because they have self abandoned. And why is that? It's because through the course of childhood and adolescence and growing up, there's a couple things that happen. Number one, the parents that we have, sometimes they're really well meaning, but they don't necessarily see a possibility for themselves. And so they can't, they can't give you that possibility that they never gave themselves. Right. They tell you that this is the way life is. Right? Be realistic, be a grown up, be a good adult, be responsible. And what does it mean? It means you won't be so ecstatic all the time. Right. And the other thing is that we grow up in a system that does not foster helping us mine for the goals within us. And we're not taught how to think, we're taught what to think. And so we go through this system and we don't tap into our human capital, our creativity, our resourcefulness, our ingenuity. So what happens whenever we actually try to go out of the box is there's some version of rebuke for that, right? Because we, we get the grade when we show up the way others ask us to. And Ronnie Ware, who's a lovely human being, I've had her on the podcast a couple times. She wrote a book about the greatest regrets of the dying and she was a hospice nurse. And she said that the number one conversation that replayed over and over and over again with the people that she sat with as they were dying, the number one complaint, the number one regret was having not lived life according to their own heart. They live the life that they're father want them to live. They lived the life that their spouse wanted them to live. They weren't true to themselves. And that is such a sobering thought. And so when I was growing up, my mom struggled with a lot of her own mental health and was very depressed and my father was very anxious. And my parents had a really difficult marriage and eventually they broke up. And my mom had all these dreams collecting dust in her heart. She was just putting herself and all of her dreams on the shelf. And when she was in high school, she was most talented in her senior yearbook and she wanted to be in theater. And she was given this lie, which was, you have to choose between being a parent and having a dream. You can't have your dream and be a parent. You'd be a horrible parent. As if that's real, right? And there's plenty of parents who are, who are focused on being parents and don't have a dream and aren't good parents. And there's plenty of parents who, who have dreams and are good parents. And there's plenty of both, right? Then there's people who have a dream and they aren't good parents, and there's people who didn't have a dream and focused on their kids and they are good parents, but it's not mutually exclusive. It's a ridiculous thing to think you have to choose between having a sense of self and having your purpose and also getting to have a family. But that's what she was told. She was also told something ridiculous, which is the only kind of work she could do because she's, she's 77 right now. So she was born before women's liberation. So she was told the only job she could have anyway was to be a secretary, nurse or a teacher, which is also ridiculous. So there was not a lot of options. And so she gave up on what makes her happy. And what I want you to know is that happiness is an inside job. Happiness doesn't come because somebody tells you that they approve of you. And it doesn't come because you have a certain amount of money. It comes because you, you show up for yourself. It comes because you don't self abandon. Because my friend Mark Grove said that all day long people make a choice, whether they know it or not, between being authentic or belonging. And so what do they choose? 99% of the time they choose to belong, which means they make this decision that they can't really be authentic. So they have to pretend a little bit so that they can fit in. Right? But what happens if you belong to someone because you weren't being authentic? It means you don't belong to anyone because they're, they're not really choosing the real you. And now you don't even belong to yourself. Right? And so authenticity is such a conduit for abundance because when you feel whole, when you feel free. And what I'm here to say, and the reason that I wrote this is the first book I wrote, don't keep your day job, is because my belief is that if you have a dream, that is your soul's divine mission. That is the GPS that God put inside of you that's telling you there is a gift that you have. And that is why that's your dream. When I first moved to Los Angeles and I wanted to be a songwriter, I used to think, oh my God, why would this happen for me? Everybody Wants this. No, not everybody wants to be a songwriter. Plenty of people want to be a veterinarian or they want to be a visual artist, or they want to sell real estate, or they want to be a travel blogger. There's a reason that you have that inside of you, and there's always a reason to that whisper. And so eventually, this whisper I had that said, use your voice, use your voice, use your voice. It led me to a podcast. But my first clue was, I want to write music. And I love writing music. And when I came out to Los Angeles, I tried to get a record deal. And some of you know my story. I actually got a record deal, and I was signed to Interscope, and I was with Lady Gaga, and she was recording paparazzi. And I remember thinking, this girl can sing. This girl's going to do okay. Anyway, I got dropped from that label a few months later, and I remember trying to get another record deal, and I got signed to Atlantic for a short amount of time, and I got dropped. And when I got dropped the second time because I was 23 years old and I didn't have other possibilities of. For me when I was growing up, it was either all or nothing. The only thing that you see when you're a kid is whatever you saw modeled as possible, right? It's kind of like before I ate sushi. I didn't try sushi until I was 19, so I didn't even think of sushi. It wasn't even possible, right? It wasn't something I had tried. In fact, I'll go even further. I never had guacamole until I moved to Las Los Angeles. It didn't exist. Like, growing up, nobody said, would you like some avocado on that? Like, right? So I never thought about avocado. Now there's a lot of avocado in my life, right? So when I was growing up, it was like, oh, if I want to use my gift to be a songwriter, it's all or nothing. It's either I become Sheryl Crow or forget it. And so I worked to figure out or to do whatever it is that I could to set myself up to get these record deals. And when I got dropped the second time, I was like. It was like when the video game and you go like, you lose your last Ms. Pac man. You're like, I guess that's it. I guess I'm out. Because I thought it was all or nothing, right? Like, how else am I going to get to do what it is that I love and get paid to do what I love. And so a friend of mine at that point said to me, yeah, you got to, like, you know, grow up, get a real job. And she said, if you're going to give up on your dreams, as if this was just, like, just cavalier. Just give up on your dreams. It's just a regular Tuesday. You may as well give up on your dream. Everybody else has given up on their dream. So she said to me, if you're going to give up on your dreams, which is good, because you're getting responsible now, she said, then you should just make a lot of money. And I'm like, oh, I get it. So forget your dreams. Just make your life about making money. Okay, cool. So I said to her, what jobs make a lot of money? And she goes, well, the most money you can make is either in finance or in real estate. And I'm like, all right, well, I'm horrible at math, so I'm not going to go into finance. She's like, so then go into commercial real estate, because that's how you'll make the most money. And I'm like, okay. And so I got a book on commercial real estate, and. Because I'm a pretty good manifesto. The very next day, I was standing in line at the Cheesecake Factory, and I met a guy who worked in commercial real estate. And he said, you have really good energy. Come work for me. So I go work for him, and I buy my little CLK Mercedes coupe, and I'm driving around to Gnarls Barkley, and I'm having a good time, and I'm buying spicy tuna rolls. And I even bought a couch in anthropology, you guys. I bought the couch from anthropology. That's how much money he was paying me. I think I was making $150 working for him. And at 24, that was so much money. I was like, oh, of course you give up your dream because you make 150 grand. As if 150 grand is worth your soul. Because that's what most people think, right? Yeah, until I started having, like, really horrible neck pain because my jaw was being clenched all night long because I wasn't myself. And about two years into that job, I was now 26. And I remember seeing myself in the reflection of the eleph. I was looking at myself in the elevator door, and I was going up to the office, and I was wearing shoulder pads in a blazer. Me wearing shoulder pads like Melanie Griffith and Working Girl. And I looked at myself in the mirror, and I said, I don't recognize this girl, I've lost myself completely. And I realized in that moment that I had to quit this job because I was so not myself. And I remember Rabbi Aaron saying to me, every soul wants to be in use according to its design. So he said, imagine if there was a guitar, but instead of being used as a guitar, it was used to hold a potted plant in the. In the inside of it, like the, you know, the hollow of the guitar. It was holding a plant. He said, that's not a good. That's not a good use for the guitar because it wasn't made to hold a plant. It was made to make music. And so I started to cry standing in that elevator. And I walked upstairs and I said to my boss, I have to quit this job because this is not what I was born to do. And these are golden handcuffs. And it's actually really scary because you're nice, the pay is good. And I could just. I could just see 10 years of my life going by doing this. And I realized that so many adults had made that choice. And. And I thought about my parents divorce, and I thought about all the heartache we had gone through as kids. And I was. I thought to myself, I didn't go through all that so I could just be kind of meh, I want to be really happy. And I thought to myself, I know when I quit this job, it's not like I have a fallback plan. I didn't have parents who could take care of me or pay for me. But I thought to myself, what would it be worth? How rich would I feel if I was living according to me versus getting paid to do something that keeps me from living my dream? And so I quit the job. And I felt really like Jerry Maguire when I quit, I was like, I'm out. And then the next day, it hit me that that was really stupid. So I actually tried to get my job back. I actually drove back to the office and he was extremely kind because he said to me, I can give you this job back, but I won't, because I heard you yesterday and you don't want this job. And it was. I was actually really scared. And then he. He really did me a favor by saying, don't come back to work. And so then it was like I burned the boats. And I had to. I had to make it happen because I didn't have enough money to keep paying my rent and keep living in la. And so I asked a question which was a different question than I had ever asked. I asked the question of of the world, of myself, of God, which is, is there any other way that I could get paid to be me besides being a famous songwriter? And all of a sudden, our greatest resource is what? Our resourcefulness. I started to research how else could I make a living being a songwriter? And I started to Google it, and it was like, oh, some songwriters license their music to Old Navy commercials like Ingrid Michaelson, and some songwriters have their songs playing on Grey's Anatomy. And some songwriters are making money doing this and that. And I was like, wait a minute. I never even thought of that before. I was like, wow, I've never even seen another lane that I could go down that would be good for an indie artist, somebody without a record label. So I start getting super resourceful, and I start cold calling, right? Because I had worked in commercial real estate, where I had to cold call investors and property owners. So I start cold calling ad agencies, being like, what song do you need for the next Pepsi commercial? And sometimes it was really scary, and sometimes they were not nice, and sometimes I figured out how to talk to them, and sometimes they actually gave me a clue like, oh, we're doing a JCPenney commercial and we need a song about summer. And I was like, oh. And I'm, like, taking notes. And I started to figure it out because I realized that I felt so happy. Like, all of a sudden, even though I wasn't making the money, I felt like myself. I took off the shoulder pads. I started wearing clothes that felt like me. I broke up with the guy that I had been dating, who didn't even feel like the person I was supposed to date. I was living somebody else's life. All sudden, I was living my life. And I remember feeling so abundant all of a sudden, because I felt so free. I felt so much like myself that all of a sudden I was so happy that even if it was going to be difficult to chase this dream, I was like, oh, my gosh, this feels so good. I'm so me. I was so happy. My friends were like, why are you so happy? You just quit your job. You have no money. I was like, because I feel like myself. It was the best feeling. I wasn't waking up every day trying to perform and be someone I wasn't. And sure enough, I got my first song. It was for a commercial for a game called Words with Friends. I wrote a song called We're Good Together. They gave me $58,000 for this song. And I remember when I got the call and I was walking down Venice beach, and it Was like, in a movie where you see the birds. The birds are flying and I'm crying, and I'm like, oh, my God, this. It may as well been. They may as well have told me that I made $58 million, because the $58,000 felt like. It felt like the greatest money ever made. Because I did it being myself. It was like, oh, my God, I would have done that for free. Oh, my God, they're paying me to write a song for a commercial. And I loved writing the song. And so then I wrote more songs, and then I wrote more songs, and then I wrote songs for all these TV shows, from Grey's Anatomy to Pretty Little Liars to Younger to Switch to Birth, and all these commercials. Walmart and Target and Coca Cola and McDonald's. And I started making hundreds of thousands of dollars writing this music. And I was very scrappy. Like, I would make a phone to Target, which is in Minnesota, and I'd be like, hey, I'm going to be in Minnesota. I'm coming to, like, you know, pick apples, and I want to stop by the office. And they're like, well, as long as you're going to be here, you know? And then I would. And then I would say something like, I'd call Chicago. I'd call, like, Leo Burnett ad agency in Chicago. I'd be like, I'm going to be in Chicago. I'd love to stop by and bring you some coffee. And where is the best pizza in Chicago? Where is the best deep dish? And I'd, like, make friends with people. And my songwriting friends couldn't believe I was doing this. They're like, I don't understand. Songwriters are starving or they're really famous. And I'm like, no, no, no, there's another way. There's another way. So I start writing all this music, and I start my own business, basically pitching my music. And then I start making friends with all these people who were music supervisors for Netflix and Disney and ABC and Paramount ad agencies. And next thing I know, I know I started knowing about all the music that they needed. So then I was pitching my own music, and then I started an agency pitching other songwriter music. And it was just, like, evolving organically one step at a time. And I wanted to read you guys something that I wrote the other day. Because what's so amazing about life and what's so amazing about choosing your authenticity? So this is what I wrote the other day. I posted this on Instagram. It says this breadcrumbs. That's how it all Unfolds not through five year plans, but through whispers, curiosities, tiny nudges that say, you know what would be fun? That's the doorway. It's never been about figuring it out. It's about following the shimmer, taking one aligned step. Not because it guarantees a result, but because it feels alive. The outcome is not the purpose. The feeling is the resonance is the joy, the yes in your belly. You were never meant to strategize your way into purpose. You were meant to dance your way to it one breadcrumb at a time. So when your soul says, turn left here, try that. Call her. Make the thing. That's when you listen. That's the map. That's the magic. That's the moment the universe moves in your favor because you were guided by your soul. And so, I mean, that's pretty good, right? I can't believe I wrote that, but that's like one of my favorite things I ever wrote. I posted on Instagram and people seem to like it. But the point is that I started realizing that the moment my abundance came into my life is when I said yes to my true authenticity. And so often, and I feel like this is probably the case for you or someone, you know, and I think we're all this way. Sometimes we realize that we're unhappy because we're depleted, and then the next thing we do is just say, well, I guess what would make me happy is if I just have made a whole bunch more money. Well, yeah, money would give you options, but what would really, really, really make you happy is if you were living the life that actually lit you up, that actually made you feel alive. So I want you to take out a pen and paper and I want you to write down. And I'm going to go back and tell you what happened next with my songwriting career, but I want you to take out a pen and paper and I want you to write down five dream lives. And I know that for a long time we actually suppress our dream lives because there's so much static in our mind that says it's not possible. Why even mention it to yourself? Literally, like I say to, I say to you, write down five dream lives. And it could be, I want to be a travel writer. Andrew McCarthy. That's what he does now. I had him on the podcast. He's a travel writer. Like, I want to be a travel writer, or I want to open a bed and breakfast in the south of France, or I want to write music, or I want to write a book, or I want to Start a podcast or whatever it is. Just take a second and write five dream lives. As if. If you didn't have to worry about figuring it out, if you didn't have to worry about whether or not you think you're good enough or you think you're worthy or it's possible or it's not. If it was all possible and if you were totally worthy, what would be five dream lives? Just write that down. What would be five things that would just feel so good. I want you to write down five things that would just be so fun, even if you don't even know how on earth you would make that happen. Okay, so as you're writing those down, what I want you to do next, once you write them down, is I want you to close your eyes and I want you to take each one of the five, or maybe a three, whatever he wrote, and I want you to feel and picture yourself like you're jumping into Mary Poppins in the sidewalk. And you're living each of those lives, and I want you to feel each of them for a couple seconds each, and then tell me which one gives you butterflies. Feel into each one. Which one gives you butterflies, which one makes your chest feel excited and your belly. Feel those butterfly. Ooh, that would be so delicious. And when you have it, I want you to write down which one it was and put it in the chat. Okay, I'm going to read these. These are so fun. A children's book illustrator. An author. A bestselling novelist. A public speaker, an outdoor guide, psychologist. Castle Hopper Reiki practitioner, travel photographer, musician, an author. Beautiful. These are so good. Oh, owning a bookstore. That's one of mine, by the way. I don't know. I've always had that, like, shop around the corner dream podcaster. Amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing. A flower shop. That's also been one of mine. That's so good. Bakery. I love that I've even thought of having a bakery. Like a coffee shop. A coffee shop. Bookstore. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Okay, so I feel like there's a reason that you have that dream. Like that is the little compass from your soul telling you that that's your path to abundance. Because the most abundance you will ever make is when you show up as you. The doors that are meant to open for you open for you when you're you. And so often we stop being ourselves. Like you were people pleasing ever in your life, whether you're at Thanksgiving dinner and you're stressing out because you're not really being yourself and you're not Enjoying it. You're just making sure everybody else is happy or whether you say yes to everything and you want to say no to five things. So I feel like I was the kid who, growing up, my dad had a big temper and he kept threatening to leave and he would leave and come back, and then eventually he really left and never came back. And my mom was always like teetering on depression and really serious depression. So I became really good at reading the room and just wanting everyone to be okay. So I turned into a version of myself that was the really good girl. And I remember later in my life, I mean, I've always been since the age of 15, since then. So for 30 years I've been on this journey really seeking, really wanting to find wholeness and happiness and peace, inner peace. There's nothing more abundant than inner peace. And I went on this week long retreat and it was like deep, beautiful, therapeutic work. And you act out your childhood. And there was a scene where I was standing there next to the therapist and she was this incredible, like Native American, like shamanic woman. And we're in this room and she had somebody play me as a kid and she had somebody play my parents. And she told me to stand there and to tell each of the people playing my parents to, to sort of tell little me whatever they were saying at the time. And so I had the person playing my dad say, I'm unhappy in my marriage, I want to leave. And I heard, and I had the person playing my mom say to me as a kid, I don't even know if I want to live anymore. I'm so unhappy. My dreams are dying inside of me. Like, it's really heavy stuff for a little kid. And she had this girl pretending to be me at the age of like 10. And so then at the end of this whole therapeutic scene, she has me go over to the girl who's playing me, little Kathy, and she says, I want you to whisper in her ear, you don't have to live here anymore. You're done, I'm coming to get you. And I was weeping because I realized that even though I was no longer in the living room, I was no longer in there living there. I was still living there energetically. I was still self abandoning. I was still so good at putting everybody before me, at myself. I wasn't being true to my soul. And so there have been so many, like moments where I can look back and go, oh, I really chose to be authentic right there. And that is always when the abundance shows up. Because what did I say to you at the beginning of this workshop, we don't get the things we want, but we do get back what we are. And when we are whole, when we choose ourselves, the world chooses us. The reason we all love the movie Wicked is because Elphaba says in Defying Gravity, hey, if that's love, that comes at way too high a cost. I think I'll try Defying Gravity. And so this whole workshop, right, you came here and you're like, how do I change my relationship with abundance and manifestation and make money and have a, have a better relationship with money? And I think that we've gotten into some pretty juicy cool things. But the biggest one, which is why I'm so proud of you for like continuing to show up and here today. The biggest path to abundance is walking home to yourself is fully choosing yourself. Because the question I told you is not what do I need to do? The question is always, who do I need to be? And the answer to that is to be yourself. When you were first put in this world, you weren't trying. You didn't care if somebody rejected you. You're just going to be you. You're going to be that five year old who wore my daughter said this to me literally the other day. I showed her a picture of herself at five and, and she goes, who put me in that outfit? She had like a plaid shirt and my little pony skirt. I go, you did. And she goes, no way. I go, yeah, because you weren't yet in seventh grade, so you were just free. And I started to cry. I go, somewhere between then and now, you stop being free. And she started to cry and she's like, you're right. Like they all look the same. Like her and her friends are penguins. They all wear the same aloe hoodie and the same Adidas. It's fine, it's seventh grade. You're so insecure in seventh grade. But once you become an adult, you cannot be in seventh grade. And there is no amount of money and there's no amount of achieving that will make you feel as abundant as freedom. Freedom. And so when people say to me, what do you do? I'm like, well, that's what I do, right? When it comes to like whether or not you're gonna work with me or you're gonna do some coaching, whatever, you don't need to be sold more information. No, it's not interesting. The reason I created a transformational year long coaching program is you don't need more information or another course. You need yourself. You Need a place where what's facilitated is you showing up fully in your power, fully lit. And I was very, very close to my grandmother, and my parents got divorced and she lived on the same block as us, thank God. And my grandmother grew up where she wasn't able to go to school past the fifth grade because girls didn't need to be literate. And when she worked in a sweatshop, all the money she made would go to her father and her older brother. She didn't have any self worth, she was told. And you know what my grandmother did when I was in high school? She said, I'm going to go back to school. It makes me cry. So she got her GED in her 70s, and she was sitting there learning algebra because she hadn't gone to school past fifth grade. And she graduated from high school with me. And so she used to say to me, kathy, there's nothing that you can't do. There is no one who's going to tell you you can't do something. And so I feel like we are all the answer to the prayers of our grandparents who didn't have the choices that we have. So when I meet people who are sitting it out and they're depleted and they're exhausted, I'm like, when was the last time you lived a day according to you fully? And the reason I wrote this book, don't keep your day job. And the reason that I do this program is because in addition to teaching you how to change your vibration, I'll teach you to meditate, I'll teach you all this stuff about energy. I want to teach you how to make the thing that you came here to make. First of all, yes, I've made. This is a crazy number, but it's the truth. I've made millions of dollars doing the things I love. Writing music, starting a podcast, writing books. All of those things are creative joys for me. Even if I never got paid to do them, I would be doing them anyway. That's how you know it's your divine assignment. You do it anyway. But so I believe that you can get paid to be you. I believe that if you have this gift and you love arranging flowers, you can get paid to be you when you sign up in the next 48 hours for my program, by the way. And this, I'm saying this, and it sounds like I'm pitching you a sales thing. I'm just saying it because it's the information that you might need to know this. I used to teach a program called Made to do this. And that program, we had about 3,500 people graduate from it and start businesses. And they brought it up because this little doll was started by this girl named Kelly Joy who was in our program. And she came to me and she wanted to know how she could do what she was made to do. It turns out she was made to knit. She's pretty good at it. But what she wound up doing that made her a real business set of knitting is she. After going through our class, she had the inspiration to create inner child dolls. How cool is that? So she would make custom dolls where people would send her a picture of themselves from when they were seven years old and she would make that little doll. And so she made me one for me. And it came with a little letter that said, to give your 7 year old self a permission slip to live according to their soul. And it used to. Well, it was always sitting on my desk until my daughter one day took it. But this was the one she made for me. And I bring this up, I know, I love the alumni that are in here for me to do this. I bring this up because I've actually had it, you know, when you get fed up and you just have had it on other people's behalf. Every. My husband says that everywhere we go. And again, I did write this book called don't keep your day job. So I'm pretty, I have an agenda, but I'm always like, what do you really want to do? My husband's like, wherever we go, you ask the person, what do you really want to do? And you know how many doctors I met who really want to be painters? Do you know how many people I've met who really want to open like a floral shop? We, we've had so many people come through our programs. We had a woman in our program who is a architect. That sounds interesting, right? Except she was miserable. She wanted to be a florist. So she wound up through the program learning what the steps were, and she wound up doing like Sundays where she would work for this floral designer on Sundays and slowly building the Runway. And eventually she quit her job and she started running that floral shop. And then she actually bought that floral shop. And she's so happy now. And she, she just arranges flowers all the time and she's doing really well. But it's amazing what happens when you show up in your zone of genius. And so I want you to really hear this. Like, we can talk about how to change your relation with money and we can talk about how to Manifest it's through energy. And all of that is true. But what's actually going to be the unlock in your life is when you co sign yourself and when you say to yourself, this is who I am, this is how I want to spend my time. What's more valuable than money? Time. Your time is more valuable. How are you spending your days? When the sun sets on your last day, what are you going to say you wish you had done? Ethan Hawke did a TED talk all about creativity. And in the TED Talk he talks about his grandmother. And he said, my grandmother wrote this like manifesto about her life and it was absolutely beautiful. He said, she lived in her 90s, she lived through two world wars, she had all this experience, she had all these children. He said in this manifesto she wrote about her life. He said, out of, and I'm getting the numbers wrong, but you'll get the point. He said out of like 50 pages, there were 11 pages that she wrote about this one summer where she sewed costumes for a theater. And he said, and I'm telling you, that is really something that she spent 11 pages on the summer she sewed costumes, because that was the one summer she did the things she really wanted to do. And so, as Bronnie Ware says, the greatest regret of the dying is not living life on your terms. So what I want you to know is that part of what I do, part of what I teach, and I teach all of the steps to do that inside in the coaching. And if you already have a business, you should do abundance, mastery, because we'll help you grow your business. But there is no good reason why, why, why are you right now not exchanging the gift that you have and somebody would pay you to be you. The reason I love people to do the thing that they love as their life's work is because then you get to do it all the time. Like, how fun is it if you love cooking or you love setting people up on dates? We've had people come through our program and turn all of their gifts into full fledged businesses. You would be surprised. And part of the reason that you're not making a living doing the thing you love is because of two lies. You either tell yourself it's not possible, so you don't even begin to get into your own resourcefulness, or you tell yourself, why would you be good enough? And I'm here to tell you that there are people less talented than you right now doing that thing. And the most impressive thing is presence and love and collaboration and empathy. And everybody starts out Mediocre, but as long as your heart's in it, you're excited. And so we teach you kind of how to build something, and it doesn't even matter the outcome. It matters who you become by saying yes to being yourself all the time. So, long story short, I was song. I just want you to hear the story. I was songwriting, and I was making half a million dollars a year writing music for ads and TV and film. And then, very organically, as I told you about the breadcrumbs, other songwriters started saying to me, how do you do that? How do you do that? And so I started a workshop in my living room. And one Sunday, I started, very organically, I taught a workshop to 10 songwriters about how they could get their music into TV and film. And then I did another workshop, and then I rented a theater, and I did, like, a year of classes. And then somebody said, why don't you do it online? And I was like, online stuff is gross, and I don't want to be online. And. And I have this whole story in my head about that. And then one day, I was like, I'll just be me. I'll use the Internet, but I won't have slideshows. I won't be slick. I'll just be myself. And I started a class for songwriters. The class made $2 million in its first year. And then one of my students in the class said to me, you should start a podcast. And I was like, oh, my God. I just started thinking about a podcast. And then it turned out that the podcast became the most successful thing I'd ever done. And it was a total side project. It was supposed to be a total side project. I wasn't giving it any kind of strategy or marketing or whatever, but the Talmud says that words from the heart enter the heart. And I just started the podcast, and it was wild, because the only clue I had when I moved to LA was, use your voice. Use your voice. And so I tried to be a famous songwriter. And what wound up happening when I was 37 is I started a podcast on a whim, like a. Like a side project. And it turns out that was the best way for me to use my voice to help other people find theirs. And so what I love about dreams, what I love about the breadcrumbs, what I love about your soul, is that the dreams that you wind up chasing are the ones that chase you back. And so when you just take that first step and you let God be in charge of the rest, it's amazing what you get led to. And so I'm really curious how much energy, how many breadcrumbs you just haven't allowed yourself to experience. Because all day long you're scrolling your phone or you're thinking about how you'd only be happier if somehow this money dropped in your lap or somehow this person gave you validation and you're just dying to be yourself. And meanwhile, if you would just take one step towards you, maybe there'd be a million kinds of abundance, your own creativity, the way you would serve the world, just giving your gift to the world, the way that would change you. So if that is something that's lighting you up. And by the way, I feel like everyone has a creative project that they should be doing that in and of itself. If you're like, I want to coach with Kathy, that in and of itself will pay back whatever it is that you want to have the next investment for, whether it's just to pay back to be in the coaching program. Of course you could create something that makes you feel lit up, but what bigger thing could you create? We've had people come through these programs and they coach with me and they're like, I started this business. I can't even believe. It's, like, ridiculous that I get paid to do this thing. It's like, well, on the other side of you stepping into yourself, there's a whole world of people who are your people who want to pay you just to be you. And I think about, like I said, I think about my grandmother all the time and how she didn't have even the option. I'm like, how dare I have the opportunity and I'm going to sit it out. I think what happens is when we're kids, I asked this to Julia Cameron. She wrote a book called the Artist's Way. And I said, do you really think every person is creative? Every person can start a business, Every person has some talent? I said, how is that really true? She said, it is true. She said, have you ever been to a preschool classroom and seen a child that doesn't have talent, doesn't have creativity? I said, no, you're right. She said, so what happens is those preschool kids, the reason they find their talent is they're willing to be messy. They're willing to get paint in their nose, they're willing to get sand in their hair. There's so many people, she said, who have stopped tapping into their flow state, stopped tapping into their genius zone, because they're afraid of making something messy. And so what I have come to find out is that all of the abundance is in you, in your creative flow. And then that creative flow leads to all of these riches and tons and tons of money. Who are the people that make the most money in the world? They're not the people who work for other people. They're the people who had an idea. They had a creative idea. Right? Where does that come from? The permission to be messy and ideate. The permission to put something out there, the permission to not get it right the first time, the permission to give yourself something to edit. So what I realize is it all goes back to the trauma of thinking you have to be perfect and trying to be a pleaser and trying to belong and trying to fit in, when if you just gave yourself a little time to make a mess and to throw out some ideas, of course you could get paid to do stuff that you love, but it'd be better than that. You'd be busy doing stuff that makes you feel like you. Every day that I coach, do the podcast, write a song, write a book, speak somewhere, it's the best feeling in the world because I'm completely being myself. I don't know if you can tell, but that's the way I live my life. So why can't you do that? Because you think you have to be an A student, so then you can't even start. You can't even start the podcast. You can't even start the book. You can't bear how much you criticize yourself. What if you stop criticizing yourself? What if it was all about how much of you came out today? It wasn't about the outcome. What could you make? Everything. You could start a business, you could start a podcast. You could start. You could start things that are even just for fun. In fact, even if you don't need to make money from something, you could start doing something that feels creative. And if it makes money, give it to charity, Right? But the more that you start opening up the well of your creativity, the more abundance is going to flow. And so I would be lying to you if I said that my abundance is only from meditation and energy. It certainly is. But then think about how much inspired action I take. But why do I take inspired action? Because I don't care about the outcome anyway. I'm not making the outcome mean something about my sense of self. I'm there for the assignment of doing the next messy, hard thing. And on the other side of that, there's always a breadcrumb, and you get led to the most incredible opportunities. And so I really Think the most abundant thing is feeling lit up and being in a creative flow state. When people are in a creative flow state, they're happy all the time. They're in a state of joy. They're painting, they're working on a project. They're so excited, they just had a meeting. They're collaborating, they're using their gifts. You should be doing that anyway. So if you haven't yet been in that, you should join this abundant life. If you are already in that and you have some kind of amazing project or business and you want to scale the hell out of it, you should be in abundance mastery, because it compresses decades into months. You're going to start quantum leaping. Because this is what I do. This is what I do. I help you create abundance energetically and also in your inspired action. And then you actually get paid to be you. Because I geek out on business. Not because it's business, but because it's an extension of your creative divine assignment. I want to see you think of the most wild, extraordinary thing possible, and I want you to get paid to do it. We had someone come through our program who was like, what I would want to do is take women on retreats to, like, Paris and have them do, like, boudoir photo shoots and a stylist would. She literally now gets paid to go do that. People pay her because she created that offer. We had somebody else who made a business out of doing food walking tours through New Orleans, and she gets paid. She makes $100,000 a year taking people through New Orleans on little tours. And she just makes deals with all these restaurants and puts together the food tours. Like you literally could do whatever the heck you want to do. We've had people build business. Businesses out of their art, and we've had people build business out of their. There's five different ways you can make a living, okay? You can make something. Like, you can make this. You can teach something. You can teach people how to make this. You can be someone who's just curious and investigating and researching something, which would be like a podcast about people who make this. So you can make a thing, teach a thing, investigate a thing, or you can do a service for somebody, right? Like, you could be commissioned to make a piece of art, right? Like, there's. There's so many different nav ways you can navigate it, but it just takes having the courage to lean into what is whispering within you and having a lot of fun. And I want you to do this right now. Whether you're ever with me. Again, for coaching, whether in my programs or not. Write this down. I want you right now to take out a pen and paper, okay? This might be the most important thing. And I want you to write a note to yourself, okay? I want you to think about yourself at 7 years old. How cute were you? What are you wearing? Are you missing teeth? Just think about yourself at that age, how lovable she is, how magical she is. It's time to not have her sit it out anymore. I want you to take a pen and paper, and I want you to write a note to her. So. Dear Kathy, write your name. Dear Mindy, dear Charlotte, write a note to yourself. Put your name. Dear. Put your name. I give you permission fully to be a C student. I give you permission to play last sentence. I give you permission to follow your soul and sign it. You're done sitting it out. You're done. You've had it. She doesn't have to live there anymore. She's exhausted. You want abundance? It's time to come back. Not be with Golden Handcuffs being who everybody else wants you to be. So we. I think, Jen, you're here. We have some of our students who have DMED and said that they're here and they want to share, which we can definitely let them share. And, Jen, should I put you on camera? And then you want to call them up? And so we're going to come back on Tuesday. And. And also, I feel like. And I think those of you who've been in my programs know this, and those of you who haven't, I think you can kind of tell by now, I actually feel morally obligated. I feel like it's a moral obligation. Moral obligation that whenever we open the doors to this program, I feel like I can't just be like, yeah, do it or don't. Like, I feel like I need to say to you guys, this is really important, and this is your life, and this is about making a choice to fully invest in you. Be yourself, be happy, be stepping into the part of you that's not numb, that's not asleep, that's energized, that's elevated. Because what I have seen people do, what I have seen happen, if you were sitting where I was and you had had the life I had, where I was once, looking at myself in that elevator door and now I'm living this life, wouldn't you tell everybody, like, this is here for you. Go take it. Go have it right? And if you had then coached thousands and thousands of people over the last 15 years and you watch them having that experience, wouldn't you feel morally obligated to say, hey, you guys, there's a whole world here that was built for you. You have gifts inside of you, and you have the biggest gift, which is your own energy. And your own energy is. Is such a conduit to creativity and to flow and to magnetism and to breadcrumbs and synchronicity. Let's go. Let's do this. And so it's not just energetic work, even though I would say that's 99% of it, but the 1% of it is teaching you how to get paid to be you, how to do things that make you feel so lit up that you would do them anyway. And so then the abundance is not just in being abundant with energy, but you're abundant with creativity, which is such a flow to abundance. And so I love both of those things. So if you already have a business or if you for sure know you want to go all in on that, you should join Abundance Mastery. And if you want the foundations by tomorrow, if you sign up, you also get made to do this, which was a $3,000 incredible program, which you get, and you'll absolutely love it. And we will talk about it throughout the program, and I will be helping you. Here's what you're gonna. Here's what's gonna happen to you in this program. By the end of 30 days, you're gonna say something's different, right? By the end of 90 days, you're gonna say there's something different. And so what happens by the end is you have become so much more yourself. You have unbecome all the static, and everything starts changing in your life in such a magnetic way. And I want you to think about the life that you wrote down, those five dream lives and the one that gives you butterflies. Imagine that it's a year from now or five years from now, and you're like, by golly, it's the darndest thing. I love my life. I love my morning. I love how I feel when I look in the mirror. I feel like myself. I love how I go to sleep every night. And I feel at peace with my soul because I'm living my life. And I love the friends who are now in my life. And I love the opportunities that I've had, and I love the experiences that I had. That's what I want you to experience. And I know you want that for your best friends and you. So that's why I do this work. And then there's the other very real possibility, which is you finish this workshop and a week from now you forget. And three weeks from now, it's long in the past and you're sitting on your couch four hours a day, three hours a day. What does it add up to? They say on average we scroll our phone like four to six hours a day. And you find yourself six months from now, a year from now, and you forgot all of this. And you're just sitting on all this potential and you're sitting on your soul. That's saying, God, I wish you would listen because there's. But you forget. And when we spend time with people who have forgotten, we also keep. We're in like an echo chamber. Why would I even bother? It's not possible. It's only gonna. It's only gonna hurt if I reach for something that was never there to begin with. And so part of what's amazing about this program is being around people who are also in it. They've also chosen to leave behind the performing, the pleasing, the not being themselves, the self abandoning. And now they are being themselves. And so there's such energy that comes out of that kind of dynamic. It's pretty powerful. So I think, Jennifer, you said that a couple people were here and they wanted to say hi. Which I was like, really? We're going to go into the VIP room also after this session in a few minutes. So if you want to join us, you can still join us@kathyheller.com VIP and then we're going to come back on Tuesday. But today in the VIP room, if you want me to go deeper into how do you make your first, you know, 100 grand in your business, I'm happy to do that. And if you want to talk about how to scale from six figures to seven figures, we can talk about that. If you want to talk about how to have the courage when you've been playing a small game for so long, we can talk about whatever you want. But we're going to go in there in a minute. Jen, you look really pretty today by the way. Your hair, the whole thing. Do you want to call somebody up? Wait, you're muted. Sorry.
C
Thank you. Well, I complimented you and said how gorgeous you look today too. So you missed that. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the compliment I receive.
B
I receive all of that.
C
And so I have you all up here, but I don't see your cameras on. Can you turn your cameras on so that we can see you? Can you see them or esky, can.
B
You pin them Are you able to.
C
Finish there, by the way?
B
By the way, we're adding a little something, so it's really exciting. Also, I just want to congratulate the people who already signed up for this program. And a couple of you chose to do Abundance mastery, and a couple of you paid for it in full. When you pay for it in full, you know, you get a whole day one on one coaching with me, which is pretty cool. So a couple people already did that, which is amazing. That's exciting. But we, we have these bonuses that expire tomorrow. One of them is made to do this, which is amazing, which will help you make money and you'll love that. It's just really deep. Good. Step by step, what to do. And Jen and I, we talked about this, and Jen, I'm going to tell them this. Another thing that we're going to add is that if you sign up by tomorrow, we're going to do a sort of quick speed. Like how do you speed up the process of making your first five grand? Right. If you just want to make $5,000 and you want to just have that back because so often you're literally just not being resourceful and it's really fun when you're like, oh, my God, it was just sitting right there. And so it's kind of fun. And you. Once you get that, then it's easier to see, like, oh, yeah, there's 10 grand, there's 100 grand, there's a million dollars. It's all been sitting here all the time. And I'm just going to start opening up to it. But we sometimes need to play with. Right. Sort of like expanding that. But we're going to add that masterclass as well. Okay, Jen, I'm going to shut up and you can drive the car. Now that you've got your people here, it's so good to see.
D
Well, I.
C
Sue's off mute and she was the first person I was going to call on because she is so active in living her dream life right now that she's like, okay, now I'm available because she's been in Italy having dinner with a beautiful group of women.
D
Sue, thank you.
C
Sue, we're so excited that you are here. And the reason that, Sue, I'm just so excited to talk to you because you are living your dreams and you've just been so on fire. So share with us and share with Kathy what happened last week because that was a call with one of our coaches that happened and we would love to hear, like, what is transpiring for you right now with your business and with your life.
D
Well, I joined Made to do this in 2020, and I had an idea of the business I wanted to do. I had walked the Camino de Santiago in 2018, and then I walked from Switzerland to Rome in 2019, and I had people saying, oh, I want to go with you. I want to go with you. But I had no self confidence, and I had no idea where. How to get from, like, A to B. A was where I was, and B was the future. Me wanting to lead these walks across France and Italy. And I joined Kathy's class, and through Made to Do this, I found the self confidence, and I think I found my tribe of people saying, you can do this. You can do this. And it's just like the group of women that I met and made to do this raised my vibration so much that I believed in myself. I'm gonna start crying. And I'm here right now, you guys. I'm leading my. Let's see. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. This is my sixth trip. So I'm in Tuscany right now. I'm a little tired. I'm a little sore. We just walked 11 miles today. But I lead walking trips through Tuscany and the south of France, and I honestly owe it all to Kathy. So I'm literally in a town called San Gimignano. I don't know if you can see behind me, but we just had dinner.
B
But, yeah, I mean, it's so epic. And I can see, Jennifer, why you wanted sue to come up here. I mean, we've had people come through these programs who do amazing things, and there's something so epic about you because of all the things that you could be doing. It's so delicious and divine and inspiring, and it's so majestic that you would think of that thought like, well, I walked the Camino de Santiago, and so, therefore, could I create something? Is that value in the world that people would say, I want you to take me on a walking trip? And that you could get paid not only to see the world, but to help other people walk home to themselves in the most glorious places in the world is such an exquisite example of what I hope that people on this call are seeing as the possibility that you guys, we reach for the highest branch we can see, and so often, we just haven't been shown the highest branches. And when you start to see people who are like, no, this is what life actually gets to be. You're walking through Tuscany right now, and these women, what a. What an incredible Gift, what value. How awesome that they got to exchange value and then they get this experience of their life from you.
D
I feel really privileged. One of my clients right now, I'm going to try not to cry. She was one of my college roommates. She married her junior high sweetheart, if you can believe it or not, and at the age of 48 had a life altering stroke and then ended up. She was his caregiver for seven years and he ended up dying. She's been a schoolteacher in Cincinnati, Ohio. Honestly, the most wonderful woman you've ever met has been a caretaker. She takes in her students. She just gives and gives and gives and gives. I feel so privileged because she retired last Friday and my trip is the first thing she did for herself all these years later.
B
And.
D
I can't even tell you like, how good it feels to know that I'm part of her first self care in 40 years. Honestly, like, she raised two kids, she's been a high school teacher, a caretaker to a man, and she trusted me with her first epic adventure vacation. And I gotta tell you, yesterday we were walking to a town called Scambasi Term and we were walking through vineyards and it started raining sideways and she's, she looked at me and she goes, I don't know if I can do this. And I go, you can do it. You can do anything. And then I found, I saw this, this vineyard and I ran in and I, we had to go to the bathroom and I asked, I begged the guy if we could use his toilet. And we're walking, you guys, like, you know, 10 miles a day, 20 miles a day, whatever. And she, and the guy goes, you can wait here, I'll call you a taxi. Can I get you some wine? We're in a freaking vineyard, you guys. And we're sitting there doing a free wine tasting because he was letting us sit there while we waited out the storm. I'm like, oh my God, this is my life. It's like, what? You say that when you're dialed in, you get like things dropped in your lap that are just freaking amazing. Like I couldn't even make that up.
B
It's so incredible. You're literally living like a Diane Keaton movie right now. Like, you're like, like. And what's so amazing, what's so shocking, it's shocking to the system because so many people live on the rat race and in the hamster wheel of here's what's possible, here's what's not, here's who I am, here's what's available to me. What. Here's how heavy life feels. And it's like you had this crazy, brave, delicious desire to create this thing. And even if you had done all of that just for that moment with her, it makes it all worth it that you could be there to give her this moment of such life, such life force in the rain, in a vineyard, walking. And the two of you are.
D
You know, the funny thing is that she goes, I feel like I failed. Because she. We were both like, we're not going to walk in the sideways rain. I'm just not going to do it. And we were still like, oh, my God. My phone kept saying we were, like, 2 hours and 43 minutes away from our place. And she kept saying, I failed. I failed. And I go, no, you said yes to adventure. You said yes to possibility. And here we are drinking wine in a vineyard in this little tiny tasting room in a cave that looked like something out of a movie. You can't. It was just amazing.
B
The whole thing is a movie. And this is why 10 minutes ago, I said, whenever we open up the doors to this, it's like, I just feel morally obligated to tell people to be a part of this, this whole oxygen. Because I can't believe the way people see, which means they're not really seeing anything at all. It's like, we're all in. We have blinders on to what's. What's within us and what's. What's available to us. So thank you for sharing. I mean, it's just so. It is a movie, and it's incredible. Can you tell people your handle and how they can follow you? So they want to go on a walking tour? They could do that.
D
I have a website called Women who walk the world dot com. Womenwho walktheworld dot com. My Facebook is Sue Van Skoyk Skelly.
B
I'll.
D
I don't know if there's a group or something, but I'll be honest. I have an Instagram called Women who walk the world, and I always forget to post. So I post more in my Instagram called Step into your Sparkle. I just post, like, when I'm in the mood for it, like, organically. So most of my stories and stuff are. It's called Step into your sparkle.
B
Okay. That's right. We'll share that. We'll share that. And the women who Walk the world website. That is amazing. Wow.
D
It's. You guys. It's so fun. And I'm just going to tell you, we just had dinner, and we had, like, oh, my God. These, like, tortellini stuffed with artichokes with this truffle oil on top. And the waiter. I showed. Okay, the waiter comes over two nights ago, and he goes, we don't have any tables. Do you have. Do you have a reservation? And we're like, no. And then I whisper to my friend, I go, oh, my God, he looks like a Roman God on the side of one of those coins. And he turns around, he goes, I heard that. And he goes, oh, I think I'll make a table for you guys. So we got. We got a table. There was like, a wait list of three hours, and he let us in right away. But I swear to God, I wasn't doing it to be manipulative.
B
No, you looked at.
D
He looked like a Roman God. And I go, he looks like a Roman God.
B
Oh, my God.
D
And he was so cute. He goes, okay, I heard that. And yes, I'm gonna give you guys the table.
B
Of course he did. Of course he did. I love how alive you are and how your aliveness makes everyone else feel alive. And this is what I'm saying. When you're living a moment like that, you're not thinking about abundance because you are abundant. Like, there is nothing else to want. When you're in the rain with your friend in a cave having a glass of wine, it's like you don't care about all this stuff that the world tells you is so urgent, because what's most urgent is that you are alive and that you're living alive. And then it's amazing the abundance that flows from that. Okay, Jennifer, I feel like we have people who are. I don't want to keep everybody waiting. That was amazing. I don't even know how we're gonna. How can you follow that? I don't know how you can follow.
C
It, but I don't know.
B
Amy.
C
Amy, I'm so excited that you're here because you've been so on fire lately. And I know we had a couple of chats about it, because I just. I noticed it and reached out to you and was like, tell me what is happening? And so you were telling me a little bit, so I'm excited that you're here.
B
Tell.
C
Tell the rest of us what's been going on for you.
E
So thank you first for the opportunity, because one of the things that I got or that I'm getting out of this program is personal growth, because I don't like being spotlighted. But as soon as you asked me, I Was like, hell yes, I would love the opportunity. So the personal growth aspect is huge. It was really funny that you said or that the. Excuse me, nervous, the compliment that you guys were giving to each other. Because one of the things that I have noticed is the ability for me to accept compliments is so much easier right now. And that feels so good because for the longest time it was almost like it was an expectation. And it doesn't. It doesn't have to feel that way. So that has been really cool. A couple of other things that I've noticed are living generously, tipping like it's going out of style, hitting that, you know, like when they suggest the amount of the tips and it's like 10, 15, 30. It's 30. Like every time. Whatever they suggest, it's like, let's just go the full one and it'll come back to me at some point in time. And I own a business. So then on the business side, this is where I'm seeing it come back to me on the business side. Referrals and new clients asking me, what is your price so I can work with you. I have some other things written down here. The biggest aha moment and the biggest shift in my business was two years ago. I lost two clients that were two thirds of my revenue. And that was a lot to lose financially. And a couple weeks ago, I moved from, oh, I'm rebuilding my business from the loss of revenue to I'm growing my business. And that unlocked crazy cool things. And I. That's in the past. Like, that I don't have to hold on to that anymore. And this group, this support that I feel has everything to do with it.
B
So that's amazing. It's amazing. It really is. It's incredible. And she's so sweet. I love hearing it.
C
And Amy, are you willing to share what cool thing happened in your business specifically? It's okay if you're not. I'm just curious if you're willing to share what had happened.
B
Oh, man.
E
And I don't remember what I told you.
B
Tell her, Jen. Give her prompt me.
E
I am an open book, Jennifer, so I will elaborate.
C
I thought it was about a big contract.
E
Oh, yes, that was. So that was where. Okay. There are a lot of really good things, you guys, and it's easy to forget. And I am grateful that that's an issue. I guess so. So there was. I was sitting across the table from a prospective client and there were a lot of people around and he told me that we needed to move outside. We were in a coffee shop, and he moved the conversation outside, and he was like, you know what I was going to do? I was going to slide a piece of paper across the table and just tell you the price that I was willing to pay you. But I didn't think that the atmosphere was right. And now that we got outside, I don't want to tell you my number. I want you to tell me your number. And I was like, that's awesome. So I'll be working with that client.
B
And.
E
And that is something that. You know how I said accepting compliments? That was something that hit pretty good when I heard that, because I wasn't pushing for it. I didn't have any expectations going into the meeting and walked out of that feeling pretty good.
B
Yeah. That's amazing. And it really is, because energy is everything. And when people are around someone with amazing energy, all of a sudden, the sky's the limit. That's what happens. All of a sudden, whatever they came in with, now it's all bets are off, because it's. It just is, right? The ego says, who am I to do this? And the soul says, I am. And when we are in that place where it just is. It just is. It's like wizardry. It's just amazing. And so you come home to, like. And what you also said about that shift from I need to make back the money I lost in the business to I'm just going to grow this business. In Kabbalah, we talk about waking up every day with certainty, but it's not the kind of certainty that means control. It's the certainty that you are rooted in divine trust. That's very different. It's the certainty that when you align with your soul, the universe bends to meet you. Oh. When you have that certainty, you give the biggest tips. You just let it all go. Tony Robbins tells the story about how, like, I know. Everybody knows. Everybody who knows him knows the story, but he was on my podcast, Everybody Knows the Story, but he got gotten evicted. He was at the lowest point in his life. He had, like, $18 left to his name. He went to eat some Mexican food in Venice beach, and he was leaving, and he had, like, literally $18 left to his name. And he saw a mom and her son, and they were about to pay the check, and he just gave them the rest of the money. He just handed them the rest. And he walked outside, and he ran down the beach, and he felt more powerful than ever in his life, because in giving away the rest of it, he basically had made a decision that he knew he was going to be taken care of and that he was going to get out of this racket of scarcity. And literally, by giving it away, he was going to make a declaration to God and to the universe that he would be so supported. And then the next day, he reached out to Jim Rohn and said, is there ever a way in the world in which I could work for you? And he's like, yeah, come on, work for me. And then he learned from him and, you know, whatever. But he says it was the act of giving away his last 18. I'm not saying that people should do that. I don't. That's not the point at all of what I'm saying. But the point of what I am saying is when we move into divine trust, the universe bends. It's just like. Like when we are rooted in the certainty that we are our abundance. We are our abundance. My friend Allison Prince told me a story which I probably repeated, but she said that she was reading a book, and it said that imagine Michael Jordan hit his head and had amnesia and starts, you know, kind of living a different life because he doesn't know he's Michael Jordan, and he's busing tables at a restaurant, and somebody comes in and finds him and says, oh, my God, we need you at the United center tonight. You're Michael Jordan. You have a game. You're a part of the Bulls. You got to get there. And he's like, what are you talking about? And he, like, brings him to the. He brings him to the practice, and he puts a basketball in his hand, and he's able to just, like, you know, play basketball. And she said to me, she was reading this book, and she goes, that's every one of us. It's like you forgot who you were. And then something sometimes happens and you remember, no, I am this. It's in me. Right? Like that night when he gave away that money he bet on himself. It was like, I am. I am. What's inside of me is this. What's inside of me is. What's. What's all the magic about? And so this guy. I love that story. I love the way you told the story. Like, you're inside. He's like, can we go outside? And you go outside and he says to you, that's a crazy story. And by the way, that's a similar story to Sherry Salata, who I wrote about in the book, who was Oprah. She was the executive producer of Oprah, and before she was executive producer of Oprah, she was a manager at 7 11, and she was managing a 7 11, and she had submitted a resume to the Oprah Winfrey Show. And years later, she gets a call that they were cleaning out a closet, and they found her resume, and they brought her in to be a temp. And she just kept getting extended on her contract. And one day, after five years of getting promoted and promoted, she's sitting with Oprah. And Oprah goes, I have the name of the person I'm going to announce in the meeting. Who's the executive producer? And she goes, who is it? And she goes, it's you. And she goes, me? She goes, yeah. And so she goes, why did you choose me? And she wrote on a piece of paper, and she slid it across, and she opened the paper, and it said, because you I trust with my heart. I trust you with my heart. I just trust you with my heart. It's like, it wasn't about. It was just about. That was the golden ticket. Like, she was a really solid, kind, nice person, and that was everything. It turned out to be everything. So it's amazing how we don't recognize. And then once we recognize that, the world just meets us there. So that's. You're so kind, and it's so good to see kind people just enjoying all the fruits of your goodness. Jen, do you want to have. Do you want to have all these other beautiful women speak?
C
Well, here's what I would love to say, is that Lori and Charlotte are both amazing, magical humans who are actually going to be hosting rooms tomorrow on our connection call that we're hosting. So I'm going to allow you ladies to share tomorrow. And, Alex, we would love to hear a little something from you.
B
There you go.
F
Am I unmuted?
B
I just did Alex's podcast. I was just on her podcast.
F
It was so exciting. I was like, this all works. Just so you know, this all works because Kathy was my dream guest when she planted the idea of me having a podcast when I joined made to do this, like, four or five years ago. And I used to think, God, imagine having someone like Kathy on your podcast. Imagine having Kathy on your podcast. And then it was like, there she is. So, yeah, this week, my episode with Kathy went out, which was insane. But, yeah, should I. Do you want me to have. I haven't frozen, have I?
B
It was amazing that you started a podcast and that you got to fly in for a retreat, and I got to meet your daughter, and I told you, you're just such an incredible mom, and you're such a cool person and, I don't know, maybe Jen, you want her to share a little about her story because it's pretty amazing. Is that what you want her to share? Why don't you tell everybody? Turn something really, really, really, really hard into something really profound.
F
Yeah, of course, yeah. So my story is that, that I was. I resonate so much with Kathy and particularly what you shared tonight about being a people pleaser and how you did all the right things. You know, you were the good girl, you made sure everyone in the family was happy. You know, my dad left when I was really young and I became almost like the dad to my little sister and I was helping my mum with her heartbreak and that's kind of how I, how I grew up thinking, if everyone else is happy, it doesn't matter about me, as long as they're all good and, you know, and I got all the things and I got the job and then I would work in my nine to fives and I would do all the right things. And then I got cancer. So I don't know why I'm laughing, but because now I'm like, of course I got cancer because I was so out of alignment. I was so inflamed, my body wasn't happy, I wasn't living authentically and I came through that journey and I just had this epiphany that I was given cancer and it was found purely by accident. I was very, very lucky. I was sent like, you call it a postcode lottery. I was just sent an invitation for a mammogram and I was too young for one normally, but they just said, look, you're invited to come and. And I didn't go. And then they called me and they said, oh, is there a reason you didn't go? And I was like, no, I can come. Like, it's fine. And they found this cancer and they said it was so deep rooted it would never have shown up. And had I not had my mammogram for another four years when I should have had it, they said, you probably would have been riddled with cancer or dead by then. So, you know, so I was like, okay, this is a sign. Maybe it was my mum who died 12 years ago of Alzheimer's, just keeping me safe and saying, you've got to change your life. And I just knew everything had to change. So I went on this journey and I always said, you know, of course, maybe it was the algorithm, maybe it was the universe, it was God saying, here's Kathy Heller and You really resonate with her because everything you said was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, that was me. That was me. And then obviously, I could see what you did. So I joined made to do this, which was huge for me. So kind of, you know, I was like, can I really invest this money in me? And, like, what on earth am I going to come up with? What is my sole purpose? You know, I've always worked, but I don't really think I've got a talent or anything specific I can do. I just always organized events, so. But I did the program, and just like we said before, the people in that community and the friendships and the incredible support and your teaching was just off the chart. And literally by the end of it, I'd left my job. I started my own wellness business. I trained to be a Reiki healer, and I just, like, turned everything around. I. I just met the most beautiful people, came to me. I have the most wonderful clients in the world. One of them. Who's on here tonight, who you did a. You did a quick session with on the VIP the other night, and I met her through my business, and I always say to her, if I hadn't started that business, I wouldn't have met you. And she's like, my best friend in the whole world, and we're so aligned, and we've kind of been on this journey together. And now she's like, oh, now I get why you talk about Kathy Heller all the time. And she's like, because I just start. You know, I'd done this when. When I met her, so.
B
Oh, my God.
F
And so then this was going great, but I still kept having this thing that I meant to use my voice. And as you can tell, I talk a lot. And when we did made to do this and we had to come up with our superpower, and all I could ever think of was talking is just talking. And you were always saying, everyone can do a podcast. So then I did your. I think I did your podcast course last year and thought, right, you know, this is it. This is. I'm ready to do this. So I did it. And then I launched my podcast in January, and that is amazing, and I love it.
B
And tell them what it's called.
F
It's called Cancer Cured me. Because that is. That's. I always say, I never mean to trigger anyone, because, of course, we've all lost someone to cancer and people living with cancer. Now my heart goes out you. But for me, it was that massive bolt of lightning when you think, oh, I don't actually Know, if I'm going to be alive, I might as well do the thing, you know, like, let's change everything, because I never want to get cancer again. So I changed everything in my life. I stopped living in this toxic way and people pleasing everyone. I put boundaries in place and, you know, did all this stuff. And the podcast is really a celebration of that. I have all the people on the podcast with all their amazing positive stories. I have healers, I have. Have all the modalities that I've found. And. And then I went to the Bloom retreat last month, and then literally, I haven't come down off the ceiling since then. You up into the status? I mean, I used to sit. I remember when you first started doing the retreats, and I was going, God, it must be amazing to live in America and to be able to join one of those retreats. Like, obviously, I'll never get to do that.
B
That. Nope.
F
There I was in LA with my daughter, and it was another level. And, yeah, I. Everything is.
B
You're another level. You're another level. You're amazing. You're such a walking possibility. And it's absolutely magnificent to hear how you took all of these gifts that were inside of you and there's so many ways that you are now so. Such a. Such a lightworker for so many people. And thank God you said yes to those whispers and thank God that you. I mean, your friend. How do you say her name? Atma. How do you say her name?
F
Atma. Yeah, Atma.
B
She was so lovely and magical, and she does sound healing. And we just don't know what we don't know. It's like we don't see how much treasure is on the other side of saying yes to ourself and yes to these things. We just have been so conditioned not to believe. Believe it. We've been so conditioned to think that we can't fully be lit up, that life doesn't work that way, that it's not meant to be that magical, but it really, really, actually is. And so I'm so grateful that you came on today and that these other girls came on, because, I mean, it would be one thing if each of you was like, yes, and now I have a meditation practice, and I feel pretty good all day long. Or, yes, I, you know, I'm. I'm making more money in my business, but it's like, of the ways that you could be living your life, these are the most outrageous, delicious. This, like, blow your hair back. Just incredible. It's so powerful what you Just said, I mean, how many people are slowly just. There's a. Even if they're living till 100, how much of them is dying inside, you know, versus, like, really living your life? And when. When does it get to be your time to live your life and live it out loud? And there's so much inside of all of us. So when you said, who am I to invest this in myself and what can I create? I'm like, the minute I met you, I'm like, oh, my God. She's. She's a walking portal. And it's incredible. And I loved being on your podcast, and you guys will put a link to it. Cancer cured me. I was just on her show, and we just talked about life, and it was beautiful.
F
And I just wanted to say. And then the next thing that I'm doing now is I'm. Well, I am already doing is organizing these transformational retreats for women and bringing the people from the podcast, so all the lovely healers and people, they come and you can experience it in real life. So. And people are saying, that day changed my life for that. So I've just. And that's all I care about. I just want these women to have. And I didn't even make a penny for the first couple, but I loved it because I watch like you. You watch people transform on a retreat. It's just incredible.
B
Thank you.
C
It's incredible. And it's incredible having you inside of abundance Mastery with us now. You're such an example of the elevation and continuing to grow and to continue to invest in yourself and the cool thing for anybody who joins that you get made to do this. If you join, you get this program that transformed her. You get podcasting content like there. There's so much goodness that you get from Kathy, instantly unlock a treasure trove of things. So I want to hit on that. If you join by tomorrow, you get made to do this, which is the initial thing that really launched Alex into space with everything that you're doing.
F
So, yeah, I'm now in about mastery, and it is. It takes you to another level. I'm telling you, the synchronicities every single day are insane. It's amazing.
B
Everybody at some point, I think, needs to be. Be an Abundance Mastery, because the way that things have set themselves up for such rocket fire in there, it's just amazing. We're really proud of it, and it's been amazing to see that transformation. You guys, this is not a course, it's not a program. It's a reclamation like that's what we're doing. If it's not clear. This is a reclaiming of you, your voice, your frequency, your future, your actual destiny. You're getting off the ride called someone else's life and you're living the life that you were design, your divine gps. Right. You're, you're living out that. Yeah. And it's it there. You can't even believe what's on the other side of the door. That's what's so amazing. And we just see it over and over and over and over and over again. So I love you, Alex. God bless you. I think we're going to go into the VIP room and spend some time just like answering questions and hanging out. So if you are enjoying this, great. We're coming back Tuesday. We're going to do homework giveaways on Tuesday. We're going to give away a computer, an Apple desktop. We're also going to give two of you a thousand dollars for leaving a review for my book or the podcast. And I will also do coaching on Tuesday. So Tuesday's the day if you want to answer, if you want to have questions answered. And also if you have questions and you want to DM me questions, I can answer you on Instagram, also in the Facebook group. And I mean questions about the content. Like if you just want to ask a question about manifestation or work careers purpose, and if you have a question about the transformational coaching and what we do and how it works and which one is right for you. If you're confused between which one should I join or any of that, or what are the bonuses, you can also DM me on Instagram. And if you want to join and find out more information, you can go to the page, which is kathyheller.com join. There are thousands of dollars of bonuses that expire tomorrow, and those are just really, really good ones. So if you feel like you might want to do it, you may as well do it by tomorrow. So you get all that stuff that people like Alex bought, plus this. So you get that also. You may as well. It's really, really good. It's one of those things you're going to be like, I'm so glad I did this. I was nervous, but I'm so glad I did. And you know what's amazing about money and budgeting and all that? It turns out if you do any research that people are always overspending. It's just that you wind up spending it on like, oh, I went into Target instead of buying paper towels, I spent $318 on things I didn't need. It's like one way or another, we usually spend the money that we're afraid to spend on ourselves. And it's like you really, really should think about, can I afford it? Can I afford not to do it? What will I miss out on? Who will I not become? Who will I not meet? What experiences will not get unlocked? What part of my soul will I not meet? Right. Because this is about really coming home to that. And you're not here by accident. You're just. You already felt the shift. If you're sitting here right now, not an accident, Right. So only you can make that decision. But it's. This is really about just saying yes to the deepest part of yourself, yes to the deepest part of who you really are and what's ready to come out of you. And sometimes you need somebody who is just a really, really, really, really good seer of you. And being around them, you can't unsee what you see when you're with them. And I think me and Jen and the coaches in our program are those people that will hold the door open and then you'll just walk through it. You'll just walk through it and you'll let go of everything that's been keeping you from walking through that door. That's worth a lot. And you have to trust yourself, though, and make, make whatever is the decision that's from the place of where do I want to be six months from now? Where do I want to be in a year and is this it? Right? And if it's not, what will you do so that you're not in the same place in six months, but you're in your truth that the doors have swung wide open, the breadcrumbs, the synchronicities, that's what we want to unlock. Those of you who pay in full get one on one coaching. A whole day of it, usually VIP days costs quite a bit of money, but you get that also, just so you know. So we're going to go into the VIP room. Kathyheller.com VIP if you want to join, go to Kathyheller.com join and also if you join Abundance Mastery, there's a $3,000 off coupon right now that expires. So that's another big bonus that you can save. And that program is quantum leaping, quantum leaps. You're with me every single week, not just every other week. You have a healing session with my healer from India, zooming in the work. I did a session with him this Morning. I feel like it gave me so much of my life force back. There's a hypnosis session. There's business strategy calls. It's so good. And it's $3,000 off if you join before the bonus expires tomorrow. So I would get in on that. Jen, I love you very much. You're great at all the things you do, including breath work, including coaching. And you and I are going to do a special session on how to make a quick $5,000 just to give you kind of like that, start your engine, like, get the money in the door. So if you join, that's another bonus. We're going to do, like, a quick session on that, which I think you guys will just get excited about, and you'll be like, oh, my God, I just found five grand. It's like, yeah. Let's go into the VIP room. Thank you guys, for today. And come back on Tuesday. And here's what I want you to do in the Facebook group. We're gonna do a giveaway. Remember, I said I'm gonna give away a thousand dollars on Tuesday to somebody who reviews my book. So I'm gonna give another thousand dollars to one of you who puts a picture of yourself at 8 years old, 7 or 8 years old in the Facebook group. I want to see you as a little kid, and I want to see you write that little girl, that little person, a note that says, I give you permission to play and be a C student. Follow your soul. So I will announce that winner also on Tuesday. Whoever does that, I want to see these kids, and I want to see you say yes to her and stop leaving her on unread. It's time to put her on read. Okay, let's go into the VIP room. Thank you, guys for today. I hope that this session served you. I had so much fun, and I love all of our students that came up and spoke. That was delicious. We got to go to Tuscany. We got to go do all the things. Okay. Loving you guys. Oh, and tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, Jennifer and some of our coaches are doing a community call, and Jen's going to do breath work. So that's tomorrow morning, and you're going to love that. So if you want that for your weekend, go get some of that. Jen's one of the most incredible breathwork facilitators there is, truly. So you can join that. Okay, we'll go into the VIP room. Love you guys.
The Cathy Heller Podcast – "Align with Your Purpose: Manifest Your Most Abundant Year Workshop"
Host: Cathy Heller
Date: May 24, 2025
Episode Theme:
This workshop-style episode guides listeners through the profound connection between authenticity, soul alignment, and true abundance, using personal stories, interactive exercises, and inspiring guest testimonials. Cathy Heller urges listeners to reclaim their unique purpose and embody their desires, showing that the pathway to abundance is paved by boldly living as your fullest, most genuine self.
Cathy’s workshop episode revolves around the principle that true abundance—whether in money, happiness, or fulfillment—flows most naturally when we unapologetically embrace our authentic selves and purpose. By sharing personal anecdotes, interactive journaling prompts, and success stories from her coaching clients, Cathy creates a nurturing space for listeners to consider:
Tone: Warm, vulnerable, candid, and motivational.
“My belief is that if you have a dream, that is your soul’s divine mission. That is the GPS that God put inside of you.” — Cathy Heller (14:29)
“I looked at myself in the elevator door…and I said, I don’t recognize this girl, I’ve lost myself completely.” — Cathy Heller (32:04)
“You were never meant to strategize your way into purpose. You were meant to dance your way to it, one breadcrumb at a time.” — Cathy Heller (41:19)
“I’m part of her first self-care in 40 years… She trusted me with her first epic adventure.” — Sue (63:19)
“I used to think, God, imagine having someone like Cathy on your podcast… Then it was like, there she is.” — Alex (81:27) “The minute I met you, I’m like, oh my God. She’s a walking portal.” — Cathy Heller (88:14)
“This is a reclaiming of you, your voice, your frequency, your future, your actual destiny. You’re getting off the ride called someone else’s life and you’re living the life that you were designed for.” (91:22)
“What I want you to know is that happiness is an inside job. It doesn’t come because somebody tells you they approve of you… It comes because you show up for yourself.” — Cathy Heller (22:15)
“The outcome is not the purpose. The feeling is. The resonance is. The joy, the yes in your belly.” — Cathy Heller (41:10)
“If you belong to someone because you weren’t authentic, you don’t belong to anyone. Now you don’t even belong to yourself.” — Cathy Heller (23:30)
“You can make something. You can teach something. You can be someone investigating and researching something… or you can do a service.” — Cathy Heller (53:40)
This episode is an invitation—a direct, energetic push—to drop your masks, claim your birthright of joy, and live as the one-and-only “you.” Through practice, story, and community, Cathy makes the case that every dream is a GPS signal from your soul, and abundance opens the moment you allow yourself to pursue it. The episode closes with specific actions to help listeners reclaim self-trust, magnetize possibility, and connect with others doing the same.
“You are already abundance. The moment you choose yourself, the world chooses you.” — Cathy Heller
