Have you ever noticed that sometimes life suddenly just opens up and the impossible starts to feel possible? I just taught a special masterclass called Breakthrough, the Spiritual Energy of Freedom. Just as we step into the powerful energy of the Aries season. Aries is the energy of courage, new beginnings, and bold movement forward. And in this class, we're going to explore how real breakthroughs, how they happen, not just through effort, but through alignment with your soul. We're going to talk about what it means to align with who. Who you really are, with your divine guidance system and expand your capacity to shift your consciousness so that new possibilities actually reach you. Because when you reconnect with the divine presence within you and you reconnect to God, something incredible happens. Fear loosens its grip and new paths begin to appear. If you're ready for your next breakthrough, you can check out the full recording@kathyheller.com workshop. Hey, it's Kathy.

Hope you enjoy this month of Aries. I want you to understand something so special again about the Hebrew word. So the word nisan, which is the Hebrew word of this month. And by the way, if you didn't know this, Abraham, like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Abraham wrote the zodiac, okay? The oldest carbon dated book ever found on the zodiac. They found where he lived. It's called the Sefer Yetzira. He wrote this down, okay? He was such a person who could download, you know, the wisdom and to sort of capture the energy of time. And so in the Hebrew, okay, the word nisan comes from the word nais, and the word nais means miracle. So we're walking into a month where the vibration of Aries is freedom and miracles. Now, we're going to talk today about why those two things go together and how this relates to you and how this is the month when what might have seemed impossible becomes possible. Okay? This is the month where you feel so electrified. There is such a feeling of breakthrough in this month, and you experience the level of miracles that once would seem impossible. So we understand that in this month, anybody who knows anything about the history of what's been going on over the last few thousand years so this is actually the month of time where there was the exodus from Egypt, okay? And everybody's seen the Prince of Egypt or the Ten Commandments. So that's actual history that really happened. And when did it happen? In the month of Aries. In the month of Aries is the splitting of the sea, okay? So if that's not a big miracle, and I don't. I don't really know what is. So we now know that archaeologists have found all this stuff at the bottom of the Red Sea. And they say, you know, I think what happened is there was a tsunami. There was a tsunami. And then what happened is all these things got. It's really fascinating. Having been for three years living in Jerusalem, I could tell you that the amount of archeological digs and things that they find, you're just like, you know, to see, like, King David's rings, and they're actually carbon dated. And it's like these people lived. It's really wild, and it's really pretty awesome. So what is all of this about? Okay, how does it relate to our life and what is it about? So the miracle, the miracle of this month when we really strip it down, what does it mean that there is an exodus from Egypt? What does it mean and how does it relate to all of our lives? I'll tell you why. Because the Hebrew word for Egypt is mitsrayim. And that word in the Hebrew means narrow. It means constriction. So what it really means is that for all of us in this time, every single one of us is stepping into a portal where we can move from what once felt constricted to what feels free now. What does that actually mean? It actually means that we move in this time from ego consciousness to soul consciousness. And our greatest feeling of freedom is when we're free. Because we live in alignment with our soul. We are not a slave to our ego. Anyone who's ever studied meditation or has ever done a really good yoga class, and you have that savasana at the end, and it's like chef's kiss, right? What's happening in that class for you is that you set down that ego. You set down that mind that wakes you up every day and says to you, here's all the worst case scenarios, right? It says to you, here's who you have to be. Here's your somebody suit, as Ram Dass says. You know, they hand us a somebody suit and they say, here's who you're. Here's who you need to perform. This is how you need to act right. And you live your life feeling like you're some version that's adjacent to you, but you're not really you. And recently, I think it was a few months ago, I posted something that's. It's two powerful studies, one out of Stanford and one out of Harvard, that said the greatest feeling of chronic stress in the body, it doesn't come from work, it doesn't come from money issues. You know what it comes from? The studies show not being true to yourself. The greatest chronic stress we experience is the feeling of being somebody other than who we actually are. And this all corroborates. You know Bronnie Ware, she's a friend of mine, she's on the podcast and she wrote a book about the greatest regrets of the dying. She was a hospice nurse for several years, and she listened to people in their final moments. And she said the number one regret that people have is that they didn't live life on their terms. Okay, so how does this relate to us and how does this relate to miracles? So a miracle, we think a miracle is when something shifts in our environment. You think that's what really summons a miracle? That something outside of us changes? No, the miracle is already here. What happens is when there's a shift in our consciousness, when something shifts within us, we actually perceive. We can perceive the miracle. So most of the time we wake up in the morning and I did this with myself today, I do it every single day. I'm no different than anyone else. And I wake up and I feel that kind of crunchiness, you know, that like, crunchiness in your mind. And so I sit up on my bed and I put my hand on my heart and I set the intention that I live this day in alignment with my soul, that I don't feel like I'm having to constantly answer to what's going on in my head. But I reroute the GPS so I'm in alignment with what's happening here. And you know, recently you've heard me say this. If you've been listening to the podcast, my friend, Dr. Lisa Miller, she works at Columbia, she's a professor. She's been published in over 100 unbelievably important, impressive, peer reviewed science journals. She showed that they did fmris on monks and there's almost no brain activity. And it's because the wisdom of our life is not in the mind, it's in the heart. And so I sat up on my bed this morning and I tapped into opening my heart and checking in with my soul and Asking my soul, what do I need to know today? And then what came right away was gratitude. Just feeling grateful. And there was just so many things that came into my awareness that I was grateful for the sunlight, grateful for my feet, grateful for my daughter, grateful for the tea I had right before I went to sleep, grateful for the sweet strangers I met yesterday and the friends I got to have brunch with and this yellow sweater that I'm going to wear a second time because I love it so much. And I just sat there and the tears welled up in my eyes, and I remembered that just like my cat, I have three adorable cats who don't wake up feeling every day like they're behind. They don't wake up feeling like they need 100,000 new followers on Instagram, right? They just curl up in the corner and find a little warm spot in the sun. And they know that they don't have to prove their existence at every moment. They're just giving light to the world just by being right. They're offering a vibration. And, boy, do they, right? They purr, they walk around. They do those little biscuits. And we forget. We forget because the mind is so insistent and so loud. See, the soul is not shouting at you. There's a difference between power and force. The ego wants to push with force. Real power doesn't push. Real power is quiet. It's gentle. So this month is really powerful because come Friday when we step into Aries, you're gonna feel, if you tune in, that there is a capacity you have this month to be free of this mind, this ego, this constant, that loud banging noise, that is the equivalent of what it feels like most of the time when we are enslaved to our mind. And so this idea, this exodus, it's not just ancient history. It's not just something that happened once upon a time, right? When the Israelites called out and then there was a freedom for them. No, it's every single one of us, every single day, okay? We have to set ourselves free every single day. We have to care enough about our own. Well, being that we wake up in the morning, we pull over to the side of our life and we unhook from that hammering, from the mind, from all of the yim yam, right? I mean, it's just. It's wild because what happens is when we go through the day and we're tuned into that, first of all, it's static. And then what happens? You think you're free, you're not free because you're reactive all day long. What does that mean? It means your environment's controlling you. It means you're a slave to your environment. It means someone cuts you off in traffic. They just had control over your emotional state. It means your husband's in a bad mood. Now you're upset, you're codependent. You're trying to fix him, right? How could you say that? That's a feeling of freedom in your life. But the power in freedom is that you no longer are walking around trying to protect your energy because you're feeling so reactive. Instead, you project your energy instead. You are so connected, so rooted, so present, so grateful, so here for it, so certain, have so much faith that the way in which your coherence changes the room, it doesn't just split the sea for you, it splits the sea for everybody around you. So the reason that we're moving from freedom and that freedom creates miracles is because when we. And I think you can start to see this, when we unhook from the mind and we move back into the present moment, there's equanimity. There's a feeling of arriving at your own door. All of a sudden you feel like Mary Oliver. You're like, you know what? There's a divine order to things. And here I am, taking my place in this divine, beautiful dance. And I'm going to make my day a sanctuary. Because no one's going to do that for me. I'm going to do it for myself. I'm going to have a slow morning, a morning that feels like prayer instead of pressure. I'm going to take every moment as if it's a divine text with the Creator of the universe. And everyone I meet. I'm going to slow down and be present for this person next to me, whether it's a stranger, whether it's my daughter. And I'm going to drink in the moments of this life, and I'm going to be available to be a vessel for a light greater than me to flow through me. And all of a sudden, what do you think happens? All of the miracles that were already hidden in plain sight, they become available to you.
This minisode, hosted by Cathy Heller, zooms in on the spiritual significance of the Aries season according to Kabbalistic and Jewish mystical teachings. Cathy unpacks why this month is associated with energy, courage, liberation, and miracles—and explores how the true breakthrough comes not from external shifts, but from the inner work of aligning with soul consciousness over ego. Drawing from ancient wisdom, neuroscience, and personal practice, Cathy offers listeners both insight and actionable steps for stepping into a freer, more miraculous way of being.
