Hey, guys, it's Kathy Heller. Welcome back to the Kathy Heller Podcast. I hope you had a beautiful weekend today. I wanted to share with you a piece of a masterclass that I did about something that has completely changed my life. I started a deeper kind of a morning practice recently. It's so simple, but it's so powerful. I really can't believe, actually, that I hadn't been journaling since, like, college. I hadn't really been stopping to just allow myself to get all the thoughts out and to really take time to witness whatever's happening for me and to just be my own best friend. And I've always had a different kind of morning practice. So I put it all together, and today I'm gonna walk you through the exact ritual that I do every morning, which really helps me to just check in. It completely changes my whole energy. It raises my frequency. It regulates my nervous system, and it helps me literally tune into the energy of abundance and the energy of where the mystical is, where the solutions are, where I can get that support from God, right from the universe that's just right there available. When you get out of the mind, when you get out of that program, you just move into that place where, like, you're back in flow and you're going to walk right into the solution. And before you think to yourself, well, I don't have time to do a bunch of things in the morning. This really isn't about doing more, this is about being more and about having 10 minutes to be aligned.

We're going to do two things today. First of all, I want to talk a little bit about this month. The on the lunar calendar and the Hebrew calendar calendar, the month is called Heshvan in the. Of course, on the zodiac, it aligns with Scorpio. But I want you to understand the blessing, the benefit, what you can leverage. Right, so let's get into that. And then the second thing we're going to do today is I made you a morning checklist and we're actually going to do it together. We're actually going to practice it today. We're going to do a morning practice, so we're going to do that second. But let's just start with the month. So first of all, just for fun, what, what does this month feel like to you? What is the energy of this month? Okay, so I'm seeing clean slate, releasing, rebirth. It's a month for receiving. It's always a good day for receiving as far as I'm concerned. Shedding, going deeper, planting seeds, authenticity. Okay, A lot of this is really right on. Okay, so let's start like this. Close your eyes for just a second. Let's just move in to this month. Let's just really feel into this. So put your hand on your heart, and I want you to take three slow breaths, and I'm gonna share with you some wisdom as you sit here with your hand on your heart just for a moment. This is the month of depth. This is the month of truth. This is the month of honesty. We know that Scorpio represents this water, and there is water that runs still and deep within us. And this month invites us to meet ourselves beneath the surface. So as we take one more moment here before we go further, just say a blessing that we have the courage to see what's true and the softness to love what we find and the strength to walk in that truth. Okay, when you're ready, you can open your eyes. So this is the month to really invite ourself to have intimacy with ourself. And you guys have all heard that right into me. I see, right? That's like, the whole idea, like, we want to have intimacy with the people that we love. And how do we do that? We start with ourself. And that's why we're going to do a morning practice routine together today, because it really starts here. So this month takes place just after the fall harvest, right? So the harvest is like, you know, we just kind of had that September, October, and after all of that kind of hustle and bustle, the noise starts to kind of dissipate, and the days get shorter. We just change the clocks. And so it's inviting you into that, like, cozier place, and it's inviting you in to ask, who are you, really? And we're kind of just going deeper. It's not a descent. It's not down. It's not like darkness. It's more depth. Right? There's definitely a difference between depth and darkness. So Scorpio energy is not meant to be negative. It's meant to be deep. So we're going deeper. And the energy of water, which is what Scorpio represents, is emotional honesty. It's like really, truly coming from this pure place, right, where we can kind of tap into that true, authentic self. And this energy can be intense, and there is that kind of rebirth around it, but it's really about. And this is a big one, I think, for so many people. It's about emotional transparency, which means truth over comfort. And that is such a mic drop. Like, what would your life be like what would your day be like if you set out today to choose truth over comfort? Oof. It's like sobering almost. Because it means taking off the mask, right? It means really showing up authentically. Choosing truth over comfort. What a powerful way to live your life. And of course, because only love is real. If the intention is to. To choose the truth over comfort from the highest and best for all, why would you ever not do that? It doesn't make any sense. But we. We often don't live that way, right? We often mask to a certain extent. Often, if not all the time, a little bit. Even with ourselves. People will keep themselves so busy they don't have to sit with themselves alone. People will keep scrolling the phone or scheduling themselves so they don't even have to know what's true for them. They keep the mask even on themselves for themselves not to know what's true. And then it's really hard to manifest in our life because we're not in wholeness. We're literally separate from ourself. And no amount then of success feels good because we're constantly still running from ourself. And then we build a life for this character we're playing. And then we one day say, I don't want to play this character anymore. So what's happening with this life now? Right? So this time is really an incredible gift. It's an incredible gift to stop performing. And in that you start transforming instead. So there is a way in which the ego we know wears a mask. And it's the identity of that ego that you're all really. This is what you actually came here to, to change. Because in some way, you wouldn't be here if it was really serving you. There's something about it that's not serving you anymore. And like we talked about before, there's two levels of mind, right? There's thought, which is almost all bs, and then there's your consciousness, which is actually the truth. And in the level of thought, which is just kind of like the waves reacting to the wind, there's a whole bunch of stories in there. And what's just really amazing, we talked about this before, is you can just change the story. You just don't realize that you can change it. But the ego has all these roles that it performs and it wants approval, right? And so that identity, it kind of hangs out. And really, it's like I said, it's all about control. But the soul has no mask. It's an open heart, doesn't wear a mask. And it actually, it Feels so immediately as I say that. There's such a relief in that. So this month of Cheshbone, this month of Scorpio invites us to peel away the layers, whatever is false, and come home to the quiet truth within ourself. So just on your sheet of paper, we're not going to go into this now because we're going to do it later today, but we'll do it for a second. So write down on a sheet of paper what truth is ready to be revealed beneath the mask. Okay, the next question I want you to write down is, where in your life are you ready to tell the truth to yourself first? Okay, here's the last question before we move into the next practice. What part of your identity is ready to die so your soul can breathe? What part of your ego, your identity is ready to die so your soul can breathe what comes up? Okay, so we're going into this process of the sacred unveiling, okay, so let's get it. Because the more wholeness you create within yourself, your life is a hologram every second, all the time. It's what you are, that you're experiencing back over and over and over again, right? And so how do you want to feel every day? And where do you find yourself dropping into that? And when you truly find it in yourself, you find it everywhere outside of yourself. The inner world becomes your experience non stop, and it is externalized all around you all the time. So let's go deep inside. So take a deep breath, close your eyes. I'm going to walk you through like a short little meditation. Put your hand on your heart and I want you to feel your rib cage move as you breathe because you're really taking full breaths and you're just coming back home to the truth of the truth, finding your way back. Your soul has been sitting here steady, waiting for you to come back and give yourself this attention, putting your attention on the truth and not on the noise. So as you breathe in and as you breathe out, I want you to imagine that you can now perceive everything that's real and everything that's not real. And I want you to just literally start to feel because you can. Just like when you try to stir oil into water, it separates and the oil stays on the top and the water's on the bottom. You know what's real and what isn't. And from this place of truly witnessing, with love from consciousness, I want you to feel that everything that's not real, any amount of pretend or performance or pleasing, any amount of pressure, I want you to just see it just gently melting away. And it's just kind of dissolving in this sunlight. And I want you to feel yourself arriving. The truth of you. The noise is quieting down, and it's like the world stops. And here you are, truly unmasked, setting the mask down. And I want you to picture that you're standing before this still lake. The water is glass and it's reflective, and this lake is infinite. And you look at your reflection and you see all the old identities that you've carried. The achiever, perfectionist, the peacemaker, the caretaker. And with every breath, I want you to see them in the water and literally give them permission to go one by one. And you can hear your soul. And she says to you, I release the need to prove. I release what was never mine to carry. I release the fear of being misunderstood. And one by one, these masks are dissolving into the lake. And now, in this moment, I want you to see beneath the surface, your true face. And there's this luminous glow because you see yourself looking back at yourself. And there's just wholeness. And there's a softening. It's authentic and it's love and it's wisdom and it's equanimity. And you hear your soul say to you from this, knowing you were never meant to perform, love. Because you are love. You are love itself. And I want you to feel your chest expand as you breathe. And feel how the light, this infinite light of the Creator, fills all the hollow spaces. You are love. You're made of it. You transmit it. So there's nothing to perform. And I want you to check in as your soul says. I'm safe to be in my truth. My authenticity is a gift to the world. And feel how this moment, it's like this baptism into your next chapter. It's the death of pretending. There's this birth of who you really are. And you can affirm to yourself, I walk in this month. I become unveiled, guided by truth. I trust what feels real and take another breath and put your hands over your heart, both of them. And you can whisper, thank you to God, to the divine, to the Creator, for the courage to be who you were designed to be and to set the intention that your love and your truth will always serve the highest and best of all concerned. When you're ready, can open your eyes and take out a pen and paper. And I want you to write down what did you release in the water. Working hard, caretaking, the need to prove myself. All of It. Well, that was a really good practice. These are such beautiful answers. The liar, the protector, the negotiator. Shame. The fear of being misunderstood. I know. Isn't that a great line conflict between both of my masks? Yeah, beautiful. It's really such an incredible amount of truth that's pouring through right now. It's really unbelievable. We think about how easy it is to lose. Days and days turn to weeks, and weeks turn to months, and months turn to years. And you ran in the opposite direction than toward yourself. But you can pull the car over, right? You can change course. And what you really, really want, you'll know. Because whenever the thought feels like urgency, like, oh, my God, I have to make more money, oh my God, oh my God, they're coming for Thanksgiving. What am I like? All of that, it's like, okay, I'm gonna go take a moment for myself. I'm go get out a journal. I'm gonna take a walk and check in. Because what you really want is not to check off that goal or set the table perfectly for Thanksgiving or all that. What you really want is to feel inside of your own experience, the of equanimity, the feeling of inner peace, the feeling of wholeness. And when you find it, and you keep finding it, and you keep coming back to it, that's when you become such a wayshower, and that's when you begin to actually hear the downloads. And it could be that the life that you've been quote, unquote, succeeding at wasn't even yours, wasn't even the one for you, but you were so in the way because you couldn't even slow down enough, right? And it could be that everything in your life stays the same. It's just how you show up in it is different. It's just the way you set the intention around it is different. And then you might have loving everything about it so much more. And it's like you can see in Technicolor all over again. So this is so important that we made you a. You're gonna get it sent to you. It's a morning checklist. Some of you have seen it because we had shared it, but we. We tweaked it just a little bit. So I want to talk about what we just did and how every single day. So I have a journal. I do like morning pages. I always pick out a new one and I love going to pick out a new one because it's always so fun to get the new one. So in the morning, this is your sacred time. If you don't examine where you're putting your attention. You're going to miss the whole day. Because where your attention is, that's where your feelings are, and where your thoughts and feelings are, that's where your choices are. And if you think and feel the way you thought and felt yesterday, you're going to behave the way you did, which means you're going to have the exact same experience. So if you like it exactly as it is, don't do what I'm going to say. But if you think that it could possibly be more fulfilling, more delicious, and even more of what you came for to this world, to this life, then this is the right way to go. So on this checklist, there's a few things. There's a say, think, feel, and do. What are you going to do? So the first thing is you remember when you wake up that you're a soul, right? You don't have a soul. You are a soul, right? And so you say, I am someone, because I'm some of the one. You just remember that the master of the universe is always available. You know, very often, if you want to meet and have a conversation with someone important, you have to, like, schedule a meeting. You can talk to the Creator whenever you want. It's like we forget. It's like you can check in with your soul whenever you want. So what are we doing? How do we not tap into that? Because, you see, today, every time we were together, and I'm sure you do this on your own, because I know that you guys are all adept at this. There's always an ANSW for all of us. It's there. And then we scroll. We listen to everybody else and podcast. We're looking for the answer. It's like it's in you. It's trying to break through, right? And so the first thing we do is on the checklist, we say, I am someone because I'm some of the one. You're a masterpiece. You're a piece of the master. You remember that. And God is not on a budget with your dreams. God's the best CFO you can find. It's like you just. You get to change the script and the story. So then I want you to think, this is one of my favorite thoughts. I have a few of these that are similar. So this is on your checklist. You're going to say to yourself, I'm someone. I'm some of the one. Then you're going to think, I wonder how this day will delight me. I want you to get Excited and be in the energy of expectation. Like, I expect it can't wait. I'm always like, I can't wait to see what synchronicity is going to happen. I can't wait to see what magical moment I'm just going to walk right into. I just can't wait. It's so much fun. And then it never fails, right? So you're going to think that. And why is that so good? Because that's such a disruptive thought. Because the mind, when we're talking about the low level of mind, like the, ugh, the noise, it predicts everything. I'm going to think this and I'm going to feel this, and my day's going to go like this. I'm going to make this much money and have these many conversations. And she's going to. It's the Groundhog Day, you know, Watch your step. It's a doozy. Like, you're going to relive the same ground. No, you're not. No, you're going to be like, I wonder how this day. Oh, yeah, there's something so much bigger than the way I've been living in it, because I was just in a pattern. No, no, no. I can't wait to see, like, what unexpected synchronicity is going to delight me today. I can't wait to see it. And when you're awake at that level, you won't be in the old habit. You're going to start to, like, move your vibration into this expectation state of like, I just. I always expect good. And there is good, right? That. And then you're going to feel. So on the checklist it says, say, think, feel. And I want you to close your eyes and imagine then things that delight you, coming your way and feeling the gratitude for that. Because there is literal proof and data and you don't need it. I mean, nobody really needs it, but the mind wants it. So, fine, I'll tell it to you. When you visualize and you feel it, you summon it to you. Okay, so we are literally all electromagnetic, right? That's why when somebody dies, God forbid, in an ER or wherever, they what do they do? They try to give them back. They use those paddles to create an electromagnetic current again in the body, because we are made of that. So when you close your eyes from vision, right, we don't really see with our eyes. We see with our eyes closed from here, from consciousness. And then you visualize a day where you are moving without the mask. Authentic, whole, tuned into yourself, having these delightful Little moments that surprise and delight you. And just like receiving just your wi fi is on, you're just receiving all day, you're receiving the smell of jasmine, you're receiving a beautiful smile, you're receiving yourself walking down a beautiful street and having a cute conversation with someone you just met. And you're receiving a text, and you're receiving a way that you can serve somebody. And next thing you know, you get to do something really sweet for someone. And you.

You got to be at that right place in the right. Like, you just visualize this kind of day. It's beautiful. It takes all of 30 seconds. Okay? And just watch how you start to live that day over and over and over again. And then the do part. What are you going to do? I highly recommend journaling, and so I'm going to give you a little tweak to your journaling practice. But basically, I like to just write front and back of at least two pages, sometimes three, and just keep your hand moving. This is not a place for you to write well. This is not a place for you to write a business plan. This is not. Just write. Like, yesterday I had this conversation, and then I thought about this, and I was starting to feel a little scared. And I'm feeling scared because of this, or I'm actually feeling excited. Like, just get it out. Because when you get the thought, whether it's mucky stuff or it's good stuff, don't judge it. It gets out of the mind, and then it won't trip you up all day, right? Because when you don't get it out, it's like programs on your computer that are draining bandwidth whether you know it or not. But when you get it out, the conscious part of you can see it and goes, that's not true. There's nothing to be scared of. You get it. So just write it out. Like, literally. And I have the worst handwriting. I mean, like, it's really hard for me to read my handwriting, but I do it anyway, even though it would probably. I could more legibly read it on if I was typing it. No, it's about literally, write it out. Get it out of the mind. And from that level of mind, your actual conscious thought can see it and goes, nope. Yes, yes, no. And it's just, you're having a conversation with your truth, so do that. But the tweak is right before I'm finishing what I put on the top of my paper or the bottom, wherever I am, I write what I hear you saying is. And I Make space for God to talk to me and put that in your journal, because I am telling you, it is uncanny. It's like, oh, my goodness, there's a lot that wanted to be said. And it makes space for that, right? So you just talk to the creator. Like, you get to the end. You're like, what I hear you saying is. And it's like, you're going to hear, slow down or you're going to hear, everything is okay, there's nothing. Or take, you know, your health is your wealth, make sure you take a walk or whatever it's going to be. It'll be good, I promise. I guarantee it. It's worth it. Take the time. And so that is your morning.

That's the thing. The reward is how good it feels to do that. And so then you're going to be like, I just started asking the hotel for this, like, Gian mug. Because I start with like, they first brought up just like a little. The. The coffee came in these little mugs, like tiny little things. And then my morning practice is so good that I'm like, I need to linger. I need to like, sit here and linger. And so I get up before the girls get up when the sun is like just rising, and I sit on the couch in my robe and I take out my journal and I do all these things. Well, first I close my eyes, kind of check in with the creator, and then I kind of set the radio station to, like, who I really am and how I can really, like, summon the level of like, remember that you can't solve a problem from the same consciousness that created the problem, right? So it's like you can't think your way into or out of anything. The thought level is like, ugh, right? So every time you're coming into this higher place, you're moving back into what's real, what's lasting, what's true, all of that. And then I sort of visualize all that. And then I journal and then we can add to it. I do a couple other things in the morning. Like, I usually read something really deep and holy. Some like really deep, holy text. I do that as well. But let's start with this. So how much, let's say this on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the most, would you like to commit to having a morning like this for yourself? And the truth of the matter is that we have self abandoned so much that sometimes this feels really scary, feels really threatening to just like sit and do that. And yet whenever we do our meditations together. Sometimes there are tears, right? Because you're just like, oh, my God, I feel this feeling. And this feeling of love is something that feels like I really needed this feeling or this feeling of relief. It's true. But all the more so why you need this time. So what we're going to do is, number one, close your eyes and you're going to say it to yourself. I am someone. I am some of the one. Number two, let's think. I wonder how this day will delight me. Just feel that for a second, truly, and think it. I wonder how this day will delight me. Oh, yeah. I'm going to make space for God to take the wheel. How is this day going to show up? With synchronicity and delight. Some sweet moment. I can't wait to see it. I'm available. Receiver on WI FI on Next, you're going to close your eyes and you're going to just picture how it feels to move through your day. Being delighted, really being present, savoring the moments with the people who you're going to see, really tasting the food you're going to eat today, really being awake, really enjoying nature, really getting curious, you know, starting to perceive. Like, I just got an awesome idea for my business. I just got this huge download that just came in. Wow. I was just more authentic today with that person. Boy, that felt good. I just set a boundary. I let go of guilt today. I said no when I meant it and everything was fine. Just picture how it feels and just picture yourself being delighted. And just notice how you have expanded. You can tolerate more. Good. It's safe to receive. And then the next thing is, I want you to take your pen and paper and there's so much that you don't even perceive yet that wants to come out. About today's conversation about what happened to you yesterday. Who knows? Take out your pen and don't overthink it. Just write whatever thoughts you feel like writing. And they don't have to make sense and they don't have to be legible and they don't have to be good. They're not being graded. Just write. Just take five minutes for yourself to journal just to get it out. This was such a beautiful call. I really appreciate just the level of presence. It was so beautiful. So how many of you are at least going to commit to do this practice tomorrow morning? I love that. Amazing. Okay, well, I know. I don't just believe. It's like, I know. It's a knowing that if you do this practice, you are going to create such extraordinary things in your life, and you're going to stop abandoning yourself, and you're going to start hearing and being guided by your intuition and setting powerful intention. And it's literally a guarantee when you change, the world within you, the world around you changes. And at a certain point, you just make a decision. I'm doing that and nothing else. Nothing else is important enough for me to miss that opportunity every single day. Right. And then you're going to just notice how it just becomes part of you all day. Right. And the mass just becomes too much effort to wear.
