Pressure has a way of revealing what truly rules our hearts. When opposition comes, convictions are tested, comfort becomes costly, and our allegiance to Christ is brought into sharp focus. Yet throughout Scripture, God’s people repeatedly discovered that seasons of pressure were often the very places where their faith was refined, their witness was strengthened, and the glory of Christ was displayed most clearly. In Episode 35 of the Sanctify Christ as Lord series, we explore what it means to remain faithful when life becomes difficult. Whether the pressure comes through suffering, persecution, temptation, or the weight of living in a world opposed to Christ, believers are called to stand firm with unwavering hope. Join us as we learn how to sanctify Christ as Lord… even under pressure.#BoldApologia #SanctifyChristAsLord #ChristianPodcast #UnderPressure #StandFirm #ChristIsLord #ChristianLiving #BiblicalTruth #ChristianWorldview #FaithUnderFire #Discipleship #HopeInChrist #GospelCentered #FollowJesus #1Peter #FaithfulWitness #KingdomOfGod #TruthAndGrace #ChristianFaith #BiblicalApologetics

Continuing to march through and with Mark, Jesus now after being asked questions by the Pharisees, Herodians, Sadducees, and Scribes, now asks a question of His own. He asks about a Psalm many should know. Listen and see how you answer Jesus. www.christianpodcastcommunity.org

In this episode of Truthspresso I chat about Jesus and socialism.A coworker a while ago made the claim to me that Jesus was a socialist. I have certainly heard this claim before, but I figured I would address it.In part 12 we look at the account of Mary, sister of Martha, anointing Jesus with expensive perfume for His burial. Jesus' disciples murmured about the "waste," and Judas Iscariot suggested that it should have been sold and given to the poor. Jesus, knowing Judas was a thief, answered in a way that a politician might think was calloused and insensitive.Looking at recent arguments from politicians that sound like Judas' question, I observe what I term "Judas Iscariot socialists." The Judas question repeats itself in modern political posturing and virtue signaling.Scriptures Referenced:John 12:1-8John 6:64, 70-71Hebrews 5:14Matthew 26:6-13Mark 14:3-9Sources Referenced:Bernie Sanders (@BernieSanders), "While working families at home struggle," X (formerly Twitter), July 1, 2026 11:00 a.m.House Democrats (@HouseDemocrats), "Donald Trump is spending MILLIONS on a UFC fight," X (formerly Twitter), June 12, 2026 2:21 p.m."Stolen SNAP Benefits Cost Beneficiaries Millions," Government Accountability Office, December 2, 2025.We value your feedback!Have questions for Truthspresso? God's Calling for Employees & Employers (Ephesians 6:5-9) 5 Bondservants,[a] obey your earthly masters[b] with fear and trembling, with a sincere heart, as you would Christ, 6 not by the way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, 7 rendering service with a good will as to the Lord and not to man, 8 knowing that whatever good anyone does, this he will receive back from the Lord, whether he is a bondservant or is free. 9 Masters, do the same to them, and stop your threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master[c] and yours is in heaven, and that there is no partiality with him.
