What happens when religion becomes more about rules than relationship? In Matthew 12, Jesus confronts the Pharisees and exposes how legalism can distort the heart of God. Through encounters with the Pharisees, healing on the Sabbath, and powerful teaching about grace, Jesus shows us that religion without Him only leads to pride, shame, and exhaustion. The gospel is not about earning God’s love through performance. It’s about receiving the mercy and freedom that Jesus already paid for on the cross. Jesus did not come to heap burdens on people. He came to bring rest, healing, freedom, and new life. What do you do when your faith is strong, but your circumstances make you question everything? In this message through Matthew 11, we see even John the Baptist wrestle with doubt while sitting in prison. The same man who boldly declared Jesus as the Messiah begins to ask, “Are you really the one?” This sermon reminds us that doubt doesn’t disqualify your faith. It reveals where to bring your questions. The real battle isn’t faith vs doubt, it’s faith vs fear. And what you choose to trust will shape your life. Jesus doesn’t promise an easy life or perfect circumstances. He offers something greater. Himself. Even when life feels confusing, exhausting, or overwhelming, His invitation remains the same. Jesus heals, but He also calls us to go. In this message from Matthew 9 and 10, we see Jesus open blind eyes, heal the hurting, and remind us that the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand. But the miracle is not the end of the story, it is the beginning of the mission. The same Jesus who rescues us also sends us. The harvest is plentiful, the laborers are few, and faith was never meant to stay comfortable. Following Jesus means moving from being rescued to becoming part of the rescue team. Pray boldly. Choose faith over fear. If the tomb is empty, anything is possible. What if Jesus calls you His, even when the world has called you something else? In this message, we walk through two powerful encounters in Matthew 9. A desperate father willing to risk everything for his daughter… and a woman who had been suffering, unseen and labeled “unclean” for years. Both come to Jesus with nothing left but faith. This sermon is a reminder that Jesus isn’t afraid of your mess. He doesn’t call you by your past, your pain, or your labels. He calls you His. No matter how far you feel, no matter what you’ve been told, you are not too far gone. The Son of Righteousness still brings healing, restoration, and new life. It’s not over until He says it’s over. Jesus didn’t come for the perfect. He came for the broken. In Matthew 9:9–13, Jesus calls Matthew, a hated tax collector, and everything changes. This message reminds us that no one is too far gone, no sin is too great, and Jesus is still the friend of sinners. Your past doesn’t disqualify you. It’s the very place Jesus meets you. 📖 Scripture References: • Matthew 9:9–13 • Hosea 6:6 📌 Supplemental Resources From This Week: • He Calls Sinners, Not the Righteous - Deepen with Pastor Joby Martin: Matthew S4E1 • Old To New - Matthew Season 4 Trailer • Jesus, the Friend of Sinners - Old to New - Matthew S4E1 (Full Service) • Matthew Season 4 About: The Church of Eleven22® is a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. This Easter, we celebrate the greatest miracle of all — forgiveness of sin through Jesus. In Matthew 9, a group of friends does whatever it takes to get a hurting man to Jesus, believing He can change everything. What the man needed most wasn’t physical healing — it was forgiveness. Jesus shows us that our greatest need is not self-improvement but a Savior. Because of His life, death and resurrection, we are forgiven, free from shame and made new. There is more grace in Jesus than sin in us. If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, today could be your day. And if you have trusted Him but never been baptized, today is your day to take that step. 📖 Scripture References: Matthew 9:1–8 Mark 2:1-12 📌 Supplemental Resources From This Week: • The Power of the Resurrection Changes Everything - Deepen with Pastor Joby Martin: Matthew S3E3 • Forgiving the Man Who Killed My Dad Because Jesus Forgave Me - Noah's Story • Easter - Fear to Faith - Matthew S3E3 (Full Service) • Matthew Season 3 The Church of Eleven22® is a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Storms are inevitable, but fear doesn’t have to be. In Matthew 8, Jesus reminds us that following Him will cost us everything — but He is faithful through it all. Even when life feels uncertain, overwhelming or out of control, we can trust that God is still sovereign and still good. The same Jesus who calmed the wind and the waves is able to bring peace to the storms we face today. God never wastes a hurt. 📖 Scripture References: Matthew 8:18–27 Matthew 6:25–34 Romans 8:28 Philippians 4:6–7 📌 Supplemental Resources From This Week: • Trusting Jesus in the Storm - Deepen with Pastor Joby Martin: Matthew S3E2 • Trusting God's Goodness Through Infertility and Miracles - The Calloway's Story • Faith or Fear? - Fear to Faith - Matthew S3E1 (Full Service) • Matthew Season 3 The Church of Eleven22® is a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. Do you need a miracle? In Matthew 8, Jesus meets people in their deepest places of need and demonstrates His authority over sickness, brokenness and darkness. Through these encounters, we see that faith is not about having all the answers— it's about trusting the One who does. No matter what you are facing, Jesus invites you to come to Him with humility, bold faith and full surrender. He is still the Great Physician, the Prince of Peace and the One who makes all things new. If the tomb is empty, anything is possible. 📖 Scripture References: Matthew Matthew 8:1-17; 28-34 Isaiah 53 James 5:13–16 📌 Supplemental Resources From This Week: • Fear to Faith Intro • Do You Need a Miracle? - Fear to Faith - Matthew S3E1 (Full Service) • What Jesus’ Miracles Are Really Pointing To - Deepen with Pastor Joby Martin: Matthew S3E1 The Church of Eleven22® is a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. In Matthew 7, Jesus brings the Sermon on the Mount to a powerful close by confronting one of the most important questions a person can ask: How do you know if you’re saved? This message is a clear call to reject false assurance, religious performance and self-righteousness, and instead put your full trust in Jesus. Salvation is not built on what we do for God, but on what Christ has already done for us. This sermon invites us to stop building on the sinking sand of this world and stand firmly on the unshakable rock of the gospel. 📌 Supplemental Resources From This Week: • How Do I Know if I’m Saved? - Mountain to Mountain - Matthew S2E6 (Full Service) • Do You Really Know Jesus? - Deepen with Pastor Joby Martin: Matthew S2E6 • Grace Changes Everything About Everything - Airielle's Story • Matthew Season 2: Mountain to Mountain Sermon Series The Church of Eleven22® is a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. What did Jesus really mean when He said, “Judge not”? In Matthew 7, Jesus confronts the judgmental spirit that so easily takes root in our hearts and calls His followers to something better—a life marked by grace, humility, and discernment. In this message, we explore the difference between being judgmental and exercising biblical discernment, why dealing with the “log” in our own eye matters before pointing out the “speck” in someone else’s, and how the grace of God transforms the way we see people. Ultimately, Jesus invites us to stop living as critics and start living as people shaped by grace. Through prayer, humility, and surrender to Christ, we can step off the broad road of pride and onto the narrow way that leads to life. 📣 Episode Mentions: • Scripture Passage: Matthew 7:1-14 • Preacher: Pastor Ryan Britt 📌 Supplemental Resources From This Week: • From Prison to Fatherhood: A Powerful Story of Redemption - Brian's Story • "Only God Can Judge Me" - Deepen with Pastor Joby Martin: Matthew S2E5 • Matthew Season 2: Mountain to Mountain Sermon Series The Church of Eleven22® is a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ.
