Have we just seen the 100 Best Days of Trump all time? Well, certainly possible. The first 100 days of the Trump presidency are in the books. And so far it has been absolutely fantastic. And I want to make the case as to why. And I think it's important that we all keep in mind what expectations were, what they should be going forward, what has been accomplished and what still needs to be accomplished. First, here is Trump himself saying, look, it is the best 100 days we have seen.

And we're here tonight in the heartland of our nation to celebrate the Most successful first 100 days of any administration in the history of our country. This is the best, they say, hundred day start of any president in history. And everyone is saying it. We just, we've just gotten started. You haven't even seen anything yet. It's all just kicking off.

Yeah, it is the best 100 days of any presidency that at least I've ever, I've lived through. And I think you make a case, given all the things that he's tackled and the amount of really important subjects that he has decided are going to get his full attention. Let's just, let's just set the table here a little bit. Trump said that he was going to fix the border, and he did. When was the last time just start on that issue? When was the last time you had a president say, I'm going to come into office on one of the primary problems, challenges, shortcomings of the previous administration? I'm going to come into office and I'm going to fix this right away. And it will be fixed. It won't just be improved. It will be essentially taken off the table as a major issue. Now, I know deportations still are a huge challenge, and that is going to take a lot of time. But securing our southern border is something that Trump has accomplished right off the bat. So promise made, promise kept. He said he would do it. He has done it. I think that is incredibly significant for any presidential administration. And now, of course, the media wants to just move past this, don't want to spend any time on it. Oh, it's not that big a deal. No, it is a big deal. And we should take a moment and point out what an important success this has been. But also the first Hundred days. There's the actions and then there's the focus. The actions that he's taken, the executive orders, those have all been excellent. He has done things with executive orders that have changed the game in a whole range of ways. When it comes to women being able to have their sports without transgender men deciding that they're going to compete against women. When it comes to issues of the border, when it comes to the usage of the Alien Enemies Act, I mean, there are so many things that Trump has signed executive orders on, and there's also the pardons that he signed when he came into office for J6J6 related individuals. And all of this, I think, has just gone to the momentum and the sense that Trump voters have. This guy has come in in the best possible way with a policy and executive order blitzkrieg and taking the fight to the other side. So it has been absolutely spectacular. I give Trump an A. I know people right now. We'll talk about this a little more on the tariffs. There's a lot of, oh, but what about this? It's very early. He's working on it. It takes time. It's a process. But the fact this then gets to not just actions, but focus, the fact that he has not just talked about how China is a bad actor when it comes to global trade, but has been willing to do something about that. You know, we want politicians, we want leaders in this country who come into office and follow through on the promises made during a campaign. Now, maybe we've become so cynical that our expectation is now, oh, but nobody really does that, right? They're supposed to sell us on something. They're supposed to be the car salesman who sells this on how great the ride is going to be. And then as soon as we pull off the lot, it falls apart. And that's our problem, right? We bought into it. Not with Trump. He says, I'm going to deal with trade. Our trade deficits are too big. China's taking advantage of us. China has gotten very wealthy very rapidly while engaged in all kinds of irresponsible and, let's just say, cheating behavior. Right? Stealing intellectual property when you've agreed, when you're part of WTO and you're part of other international trade agreements, stealing intellectual property is breaking your words, breaking contract, essentially. So China is doing stuff that it shouldn't be doing, and Trump wants to hold them to account on this. And that means doing things. Not when there's an extreme emergency, not waiting for it all to break, but using the political capital you have in order to go forward and look forward and to take the necessary actions. And I think that is what he is. He is doing on this. You know, they're trying to throw in the mix. Here's Trump talking about the issue of the polls. And I got to tell you, I've got a few thoughts on the, on the polls issue. Here's, here's where we are.

And that's why we got despite the fake polls. You know, they do these polls where they interview far more Democrats than. Than Republic. I saw him over the last few days and I had him checked out. They interview far more Democrats for the polls. They interview Democrats by big numbers and then Republicans by small. They say Trump only has a 44% approval rating. Well, it's actually not bad. But when you figure that if it were a legit poll, it would be in the 60s or 70s, these people are a bunch of crooked people. No, they interview more Democrats than Republicans. In other words, they take the poll and they interview Democrats. They poll Democrats and then they say they try and depress it as much, just like they write bad stories. 97% of the stories written about me.

Okay, yeah, they do these polls and he thinks the polls are rigged. The polls are skewed. It doesn't even matter right now. He's not running again. The polls are irrelevant. I don't care. And this is just the way the Democrats try to create a perception that this presidency is failing or it's not operating the way that it should. No, this is just another indicator for us that he's willing to spend some political capital. He's willing to do things that may unsettle the numbers a little bit. And whether you believe the polls are accurate or not, just put that aside. Let's say they are accurate. Okay, so he's lost a few percentage points. It's been a hundred days. And this is all about the tariff issue mostly, which is still being worked out. And I think eventually Trump is going to get us to a much better place on that. So there's a lot of reason here for tremendous, I would argue, tremendous enthusiasm. And I think that's. Look, this is why I give him an A for the first hundred days. I mean this is what, this is something else that I believe is very important, very necessary for Trump to remind everybody that, you know, he's just getting started. This is not the, this is not the end of an administration. This is the beginning of an administration. And so he's going to use the time that he has to do the things that, that need to be done. And you know, you've got Mike Johnson saying that there's more done in the first hundred days than presidents will do in an entire administration. I mean, I think people see this, that this is a Trump team that has come in trying to take on a lot. And look, Doge has shown a lot of what the spending problems are. Doge has shown us a lot of what the realities are, I think of government waste, fraud and abuse. Congress has to act and Democrats don't want to cut the bad spending. So this becomes a problem. You need to do something called rescission through Congress, like rescinding, but rescission. And it's not easy to do. And Democrats aren't, they want all the profligate spending to continue exactly as it has been up to this point. So remember, it's not just tackling the system. It's tackling the system while half of the people in it don't want to change anything. It would be hard enough, it would be complicated enough if Elon came forward with all this stuff from Doge and there was agreement that we need to stop this. But what do we do and how does it, you know, how many people do we keep in the government and what, what should. Those are all things that would need to be figured out. It's harder because Democrats don't want to stop anybody, just like they don't want to deport anybody, which I think is one of the big revelations that we've already seen from not just people like me who are very pro Trump and very right wing and a lot of you, but from the country more broadly. They can see. Hold on a second. Democrats don't want anyone to be sent home from this country. They really don't believe that this is a situation where we should have a all hands on deck effort to send those who are in the country illegally out of the country. In fact, they want them all to stay. You have to ask why? Why aren't they on board with us on this? What really is the reason? Why aren't they on board with Elon and Doge about cutting spending that is wasteful or even fraudulent? What is it about Democrats? In some ways, I think they just don't want to give our side a win. They don't want to admit that they're wrong. And that can be a very powerful. Psychologically, it's a very powerful factor. People don't like to admit they're wrong. That's part of it. Part of it is I think they believe that the country deserves this and that they've convinced themselves that even if we spend ourselves into oblivion and if our open borders slowly eradicate our polity, our political community, Union of America, and that's just the way it has to be, I think they believe this is what we deserve. So it's pretty scary when you think about half the country isn't, isn't on board for fixing these problems. They want the problems to persist. They don't view them as problems, which when you look at these issues, is just madness. It's utter madness. Look, some nations, this is our sponsor, Paradigm Press.
