98 today welcome in Monday Edition Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. I believe it is day 99 of the Trump administration 2.0 day 100 tomorrow. We got some special guests scheduled to come your way tomorrow should be a lot of fun as we break down all of that, but there are a ton of stories out there that I think you guys are going to enjoy. Bucs favorite football player Saquon, also known as Saquon Barkley, hanging out with Trump. There's some good quotes from that. And I believe during the course of today's program, the Philadelphia Eagles, of whom Saquon is a star player 4, will be visiting the White House to celebrate their super bowl championship. We'll see if there's any fireworks that come out of that. The White House 100 different images of violent criminals who have been arrested. Tom Holman and Caroline Levitt had a press conference already this morning in the White House to start off Monday and hit the ground running. And over the weekend was the White House Correspondents Dinner, all of the festivities where people in Washington pat each other on the back over what an amazing situation that they have created based on their coverage of the past year. And I wanted to make sure that we covered the fact that this show Buck, when do you this would be a good, actual honest media analysis. We talked on this program about Biden's clear mental and physical decline for years with this audience, such that you and I were both attacked by the people celebrating at the White House Correspondents association for being unfair and dishonest and being engaged in cheap fakery. For those comments and discussions from the.
Buck Sexton
Very beginning of when you and I teamed up together, I think coming up on 4 years ago this June, we were talking about the Weekend at Bernie's and in fact, I believe you kept saying Weekend at Bernie's to I didn't even realize there was a sequel. For those who don't know, that is a movie that is absurd from the 80s, but kind of a cult classic in its absurdity, where a guy is dead and they carry the dead body around to pretend he's alive and shenanigans ensue. So how is it that you're saying weekend at Bernie's 2 starting in 2022 and they didn't figure this out? Clay, how is that possible?
Clay Travis
Not only did they not figure it out, Buck, they claim it was impossible for them to have known, even though every single one of you out there listening for years has heard on this program us playing a variety of different clips which demonstrated quite clearly that Biden didn't have the mental or physical cognition in order to do the job of President of the United States. On June 27, when Biden came out for that disastrous debate performance, all arguments to the contrary ceased and overnight, everyone suddenly said, oh, wow, Biden can't be president. And they actually awarded. This is unbelievable. But I think it's important for all of you to understand they didn't award. Have you ever gotten an award for this, Buck? Has anybody ever said, hey, Buck, you know, you were so great for pointing out Biden didn't have the mental or fiscal capability to be president. Just making sure you have not received any award for that, right?
Buck Sexton
I just always assumed in this business, Clay, that we would never get awards. That that's not a thing. If you are right of center, you don't even consider that there's an award you're going to get.
Clay Travis
I have never gotten an award for anything in my entire media career, but certainly not for honestly pointing out that Biden did not have the capability to be president. The reason why I bring that up, Buck and I somehow were missed. Missed our award. They decide. This is amazing. The White House Correspondents association decided to give an award to a guy who started saying in 2023, very minimally, hey, maybe Joe Biden isn't on top of his game. And he showed up, this guy, Alex Thompson. And Alex Thompson showed up and addressed the assembled press and took applause for being a truth teller. Now, again, Fox News, for years, to be fair, has tons of people on air who have been saying Biden isn't mentally or physically able to be president. NBC News wrote an entire article calling me a disinformation and misinformation expert for saying Biden didn't have the physical or mental capability to be president. Buck, In June of 2024, somebody pulled that article up.
Buck Sexton
You'd be a purveyor of disinformation, though, right? Like, an expert in disinformation would be the person lying about Joe as part of the disinformation campaign, right? They'd say, I'm a disinformation expert and Clay is lying about it. This is. People forget one of the original great moments of Trump jitsu, if you will. Jiu jitsu via Trump was when they used fake news to against Trump and he just turned it around. He's like, you guys are fake news. And they had a total meltdown. The same thing has happened with the disinformation experts, Clay, about Biden's mental acuity because they were doing exactly what they did to you. They put people out there whose expertise was spotting intentional lies and they were intentionally lying about Biden's mental capacity in their role as disinformation experts.
Clay Travis
I just found it, Buck, June 13, 2024, two weeks in advance of Biden falling on his face. NBC News. A post on X from Clay Travis, a conservative talk radio host, said Biden just goes wandering off and that other national leaders are, quote, babysitting our president in Italy. His post received 1.1 million million views. In a follow up post Friday, Travis said he stood by his view Biden is not mentally fit to be president. The RNC's and Travis's post didn't have community notes, though they had been proposed. This was June 13th. NBC News attacking me for saying Biden didn't have the mental or physical capacity to be president. All right, here is Alex Thompson taking his bow as everyone cheers. The fact that he minimally suggested that Biden might not be able to be president here is. I believe it's cut one. We, myself included, missed a lot of this story and some people trust us less because of it. We bear some responsibility for faith in the media being at such lows. I say this because acknowledging errors builds trust and being defensive about them further erodes it. We should have done better. I believe our mission is vital in a world where people are struggling to figure out what's true and people with power are not telling the truth.
Buck Sexton
They are, Clay. They are systematically lying about, lying about Biden's mental health now, meaning this game of we missed it. We didn't do the greatest job. Oh, we should have looked a little more closely. That is not what happened. They knew and they shut their mouths about it and actually went to the active side of lying and they pretended like Joe Biden was fine. That's why. Why else would you know Joe Scarborough is making millions of dollars a year to be a jackass on tele. Why else would he go on TV and say months before the debate that Biden is not sharp, not okay. The sharpest version he has ever been in his life. In his 80 years of life, this is the best Biden has ever been. That is what one of their biggest hosts said. You only say that when you have the marching orders from the top and across the board that this is the guy. Everybody shut up. Everybody go along with this. So, you know, they can't even be honest about their dishonesty is really where we are. They all were in on it and now they're trotting out some kind of, you know, low T, you know, soy drinking journos from inside the Beltway to go, oh, we didn't really live up to our journal. Live up to it. You were part of the con. You Were you were one of the, the, the absolute, you know, accomplices in this.
Clay Travis
I think that's important. And I jotted down as that speech was being made as we were playing the audio for you, and I watched it over the weekend. An error. That's what they call this, an error. And we missed a lot of the story. And error is unintentional. And I think you're, you're hammering on this, but it's very important. If you are playing shortstop and you intend to fill the ground ball and you have it go off your knee instead or it goes between your legs, it's assigned as an error, but it's unintentional. We don't presume that on the baseball field somebody is trying not to make an out. This was intentional. It was not a miss, it was not an error. These journalists in quotation marks were propagandists of the party in power and they refused to hold accountable the party in power because overwhelmingly they agree with the politics of the party in power. Now, Trump has an adversarial relationship with the majority of the press. I actually don't mind that because if there was a consistent adversarial relationship with the press, I would actually think that would be somewhat encouraging because the job of the press should be to speak truth to power, regardless of who is in power. When you are claiming that you're an unbiased journalist, call balls and strikes. Sometimes it's a strike, sometimes it's a ball. But the attempt now to rewrite history and try and say, oh, it was just an error, we missed a lot of the story. No, you actively lied to cover up the truth. And I will say this, he was right that the media basically destroyed themselves in the process. And you know what also has happened, Buck? There's a graphic out from Axios coverage of misinformation and disinformation has almost vanished now. They basically have just acknowledged that given Covid and now the Biden cover up, they have no ability to do it anymore.
Buck Sexton
You have to also put this, this White House correspondents dinner, this pseudo mea culpa, but not even, you know, it's really just, oh, gosh, guys, we need to rally and do a little better next time. You know, it's like, it's like they were in the big game and they lost by a touchdown. No, they were trying to pay off all the refs and they got caught. They're scumbags, ok? That's what happened. The people in that room who are trying to pretend like we should have done better. No, they were propagandists, they were liars, and it didn't work. But I think the context that must always be remembered here is that this didn't just happen, Clay. They. Because of COVID and because of the unholy alliance between the left wing social media companies, the dominance still of the Democrat aligned corporate media and corporate America working all together here, they got drunk with power. They managed to do this in 2020. The Hunter Biden laptop, which came after all the lies about COVID which came after all the lies about the. Well, Covid is part of this, but as I said, the Wuhan lab and the leak and, and then all the stuff about lockdowns. Clay, they basically got steps away from a authoritarian information control, authoritarian information control that they could wield at will. And they thought they could do it one more time. They thought they could pull it off again. They got caught with their hand in a cookie jar. This wasn't a close, but. No, this wasn't a close, but no cigar. You know, old school try kind of thing. This was. They're liars, they're scum. They didn't manage to pull it off. Thank you, Trump, for beating all this nonsense. And now they want us to pretend like they have any integrity or any honor. They don't. And I won't. And that's where we are. It's not going to change.
Clay Travis
Amen. And we will come back and continue to break this down. Buck, I can't wait to hear his reaction to his boy Saquon and their newfound friendship between. Saquon, obviously Saquon, because somebody's going to correct me on pronunciation.
Buck Sexton
I mean, as I've said, always bet on Saquon. And was he playing golf with Trump? I would say that he'd probably beat Trump just because you always got to bet on Saquon.

Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. We're rolling through the Monday edition of the program we played for you. The White House press corps saying, man, we missed a lot of the story. There were errors. How could we have ever managed to not correctly do the story? And Caroline Levitt, 8:30am Eastern, they had a press conference credit to them bright and early to set the agenda of the week. And Caroline Levitt was asked about that happening over the weekend and this was her response.
Caroline Levitt
Cut to agree with that assessment from Alex Thompson, who I understand won an award for writing a story months and perhaps years after the American people, people already knew that story to be true. Millions of Americans watched our mentally incompetent president struggle with his day to day duties of this office. We watched our country be ran into the ground as a result. And nobody in the media wanted to write about that, talk about it. There were many, many reporters, I will say right leaning reporters who did talk about that, who didn't get awards, didn't get coverage. In fact, they were lambasted for their coverage. And I remember being on President Trump's campaign talking about Joe Biden's clear mental incompetence and being accused by people in this room of manufacturing deep fake videos, trying to persuade the public into not believing what they saw with their own eyes for many years. And I think it's about time the legacy media finally admits that was one of the greatest coverups and scandals that ever took place in American history. And certainly it did contribute to the decline in the trust that Americans have for the legacy media.
Clay Travis
Well said by Caroline Levitt bright and early this morning when she was asked about the comments made by Alex Thompson. Now, have we had Alex on the show? I think we might have. I don't know.
Buck Sexton
Ali, he has the book with, with Jake Tapper, right?
Clay Travis
Yes. But he's been to his credit as, as media outlet figures go, he's been fairer, which is why they gave him the award than the average one was. And if he had written the book on Biden's deterioration, I would have said ok. I can see at least he's been willing to write that on some level.
Buck Sexton
I wouldn't, I, no, I give zero credit, Clay. I give zero credit. I think that this is, we should not even fall into he's the least bad of horrible, horrible lying journos. That's not a good thing still, right? I mean I hear you in that he is. He did it early enough that there was some pushback. There could have been some pushback from his side. Clay, you and I have been making jokes about dragging a, a Bernie, you know, Weekend at Bernie's.
Clay Travis
Weekend at Bernie's, too, is a good test. When did we first reference or when did I first reference the Weekend at Bernie's to. That would be a good sense for when we've been hammering it.
Buck Sexton
Find out when I made a reference to El Cid, which also the Charlton Heston movie, which you will all recall, there's a scene where El Cid, the Spanish, you know, reconquista hero, is like riding, riding out and on a horse at the end when he's dead. I mean, these are things we're talking about how Biden, we're, we're openly mocking this with no fear of anyone saying, hey, he's actually really smart and fine. Like for years. Yes, for years we're saying this. And obviously if it weren't true. I never said this about Obama. You never said this about Obama. This wasn't like something we say. You know, they say every Republican is dumb. Every Republican. It's so childish. But that's what they do. We don't say every Democrat has dementia. It was just this guy. In fact, I've never said Bernie Sanders, who's even older than Biden, I think, or maybe they're the same age. They're close. Whatever. I think he's older. Is he older?
Clay Travis
Bernie's 83. He's older than Biden.
Buck Sexton
He's older. I've never said Bernie Sanders clearly has dementia. I've said he's probably too old for the job, which I think everyone knows. But it was, you know, he doesn't have scrambled eggs moments. We've been saying this for years. How can you get credit for saying something that has been obvious to everybody who is not a Democrat trying to advance their partisan agenda? The whole time, I, you know, I just, I get so. I feel like we give no credit on this. I give no. Ok, we have to. Maybe we should have them on. They can try to argue their case. But I'm, I am not sympathetic to.
Clay Travis
Gets no credit. That's what I was going to say. If Alex Thompson had written the book by himself, I would say, okay, he, at least back in 2023, did write a story saying Biden's mental and physical. And he got, remember the Wall Street Journal wrote it, too. And everybody lined up and said, it's so untrue. I think that was when the Joe Scarborough infamous. This is the best version of Biden there's ever been, which I think ended his career honestly, because I think even for the, the die hard MSNBC viewers. And then he begged to go meet with Trump and he went down to Mar a Lago and kissed the ring. I mean, his career, I think is over.
Buck Sexton
Can I tell you my. I never thought he's a talented guy. By the way, I don't understand what the appeal or the interest is other than a former Republican who trashes Republicans all day for the amusement of stupid Democrats. But I would say, Clay, as you look at the way that this story unfolded, it was more and more obvious all along and yet there weren't more and more Democrats coming forward to say it. I mean, think about the, this is like cult of Mao or cult of Stalin level obedience when you have something that we would all have to agree is utterly reckless. I mean, to have a commander in chief, to have the President of the United States, the most powerful man in the world, have a brain that does not function properly and is obvious to everybody who is paying attention to have been a part of that is a disgrace that you can never come back from. Right. And what I think I would actually respect these guys more if they came forward and they said, you know what, sometimes you gotta tell a lie in order to, you know, support a bigger, better agenda. I thought that Donald Trump was Hitler and going to destroy the country. So I lied to your faces about Biden's dementia because I thought that was the lesser evil. Pretending they were too stupid to notice is insulting to me and I reject it.
Clay Travis
Would have they ever admitted, remember when Biden would call on them and he was given a list and he would just go through the list. Have they ever explained that in any way? I mean, the White House Correspondents association, because they're supposedly speaking truth to power. And again, I think the idea that Jake Tapper wrote a book about the COVID up is one of the craziest, most arrogant, most dishonest things that we have ever seen someone on television do because he had a platform where on cnn where he could have clearly called into question Joe Biden's mental and physical acuity. And he never did it, never did it on the air until June 27 happened. And then suddenly, oh my goodness, he's not very good.
Buck Sexton
And do you know how we know he never did it? If it had happened, it would have caused a stir. We would have played exactly it would you would have heard it on this show because we would have said, look we call balls and strikes. We've done it with Fetterman, with some of the Israel stuff. Right. We said, look, Fetterman still votes with Chuck Schumer on everything. Can't trust Fetterman. But when he says something smart, we're not going to lie to you and say he hasn't or, you know, said something that's honest and moral, we're going to say, look, he said something honest and moral. Anyone in the Democrat side who had come forward and said, who was the reporter? Was it Dasha Burns? Dasha Burns?
Clay Travis
It was, yeah, that was the one who, to her credit, NBC did the interview with Fetterman and everybody was furious at her for saying, yeah, he couldn't basically do the job.
Buck Sexton
Right. But that, but that just showed you the level of cult like obedience demanded of people whose entire presentation of themselves is speaking truth to power. And we won't they, Clay, it's like if you were at a hospital and the doctors and nurses poisoned all the patients, like they completely violated the core tenet supposedly of their profession and now they're giving us a meek, you know, we could have done a better job. No, no, they did the job. It's just like I said, clay, about the 51 intelligence officers that everyone says, oh, but you know, they got it wrong. They didn't get it wrong. The job was to lie and they knew the job was to lie and the job worked because Biden got the pass on the, you know, on the Hunter Biden laptop in part with all the help from the social media because of it. Right. When your job is to lie and you do it, you don't then get to turn around and say, oh, I just made a good faith, a good faith error. Right? I mean, it's like I said about, about sports stuff. If you've paid off the refs and you got caught, don't tell me that you did your best, okay? That's, that's not the same thing.
Clay Travis
An error is unintentional. And I think to your point, all of this was directly intentional. When is the book come out from Tapper?
Buck Sexton
I'll find out. Guys, do you. I'm going to put this to you. I'm going to put this to you because I don't like, generally, I don't like to use the term platform. I don't like platforming Democrats who I think are just going to come on here and be deeply dishonest. So I'm open to the Alex guy because he did. And Clay, Clay's. I'm even More, you know, just the whole White House correspondent. The whole thing like just sets me off. These people are all such frauds. Clay is a little more willing to tolerate or I should say to give.
Clay Travis
Some credit to Alex, my standard is so low that if you are something other than a crazy left wing propagandist, I will give you credit for being anything a little bit too towards the center from left wing propagandists like Joe Scarborough is the worst. And then I, I think we should have Jake Tapper on because I don't think he can defend himself.
Buck Sexton
This is, this is amazing, by the way. We're going to play this, we're going to play this for him. Okay, we're going to play this. We're going to have, I think we're going to have you guys call in, email in. Are you okay with us having on these people that are supposed to represent this new book that's going to tell us about how they missed this? They're going to tell, you know, I want to hear from you, really give us a sense if you want them to come on. I've already told Clay there are, you know, look, it's radio. If you invite someone into your house, you have to maintain decorum and be respectful. But I'm not going to have them on and then say, you know, you guys, congrats on the, you're really, you know, speaking. No, I'm going to say I think you're frauds. Explain to me why you're not. I'm just going to be very transparent and straightforward about that because I do. And again, more so on the Tapper side than on this other one. But Clay, to our point about this, because I remembered this, I remembered it so much that I actually went to see like I think I watched the trailer of weekend at Bernie's 2 and I was like, can I sit through this Weekend at Birdie? It's not a good movie. Just to tell you guys it's not, it's a funny premise for five minutes and then it's just preposterous. In August of 2021, OK, we had been on the air together two months. The quote here we should, we should pull this, pull the audio on this. But Buck, that's me. Who do you think the most powerful person is? We talk about this a lot. Clay refers to this as the Weekend at Bernie's presidency. Clay? Yes, Buck, I've called it that and many others. It's obviously a Trojan horse presidency for the last, which is I think playing out in a way that we anticipated, clay, that's in 2021. We're saying it's a presidency where they're carrying around a dead body pretending it's alive. Obviously metaphorical. But the point is, who didn't see that?
Clay Travis
A lot of people on the left because there were people like Jake Tapper who refused to speak the truth. And I think we should have him on because I think he should have to explain to all of you why suddenly he can write a book about Biden's decrepitude, but he never talked about it on his show during the entire Biden presidency until June 27 happened, when everybody suddenly had the ability to acknowledge what all of us could see with our plain eyes.
Buck Sexton
I mean, I'm familiar with some of Tapper's work. I was at cnn. I will keep this out of the personal level. I'll keep this away from the personal to purely a sort of professional presentation of someone's of their work. His whole thing is he's a guy who will, even though he's a Democrat, which he will argue and say he's not and all of you, and we will laugh, but he will say he's not. He will say that he's an independent journalist, trust me, he's a Democrat, but that he occasionally, occasionally, you know, 5% of the time will break with his own side on something so that he has more gravitas to push the other stuff for the Democrats. Right? That's the whole game. This is the annihilation of that as a brand for anyone. If you went along with the Biden hoax, you're done. Ok? You're done. Nobody should believe anything that you say, which is why I think there's this effort to rehabilitate. This book comes out next month. If you and the audience are OK with it, we will have them on and it will be a. And I will let them know beforehand. Ali, we don't do what they do at places like CNN be like, look, the guys are very skeptical. They think they're frauds and they're willing to hear you out on this. I shouldn't say they because Alex, Clay, Clay points out that guy did try. I don't think he tried very hard, but he wrote one story in four years and he did get some heat for it and it was a real story. Okay? But Tapper coming on here, we're going to have to address this in a very straightforward way and we'll tell him ahead of time to tell us the days where you were talking about Biden's Dementia. We'll pull those clips and have them ready because I don't want someone coming on this show and saying, I talked about this a lot. I was, you know, in this vague. Oh, I was, I was, you know, just following the facts. So, yeah, we'll see. All right, onto something happy. If you, you might have seen the photo. Over the weekend, Good Ranchers feast for the Sextons Sextons I made, man, I, I had like three bone in cowboy steaks, which is a, you know, like a ribeye. Bone in ribeye. Let's talk about what's going on right now with the administration and the agenda of securing our borders, enforcing our immigration laws, and making America safe again. You will see that over the weekend there were a number of stories that deal specifically with immigration. One Clay mentioned, which is that the White House has put up posters of criminal illegal aliens which are set up on the White House lawn with big photos. So in the background of the hits that reporters do at the White House, they will see some of these posters. Clay which is one way I think of helping to get the message across that the administration is taking this quite seriously. The administration has no intentions of backing off of this Policy, and it's really just in the opening phases of it. Here's White House Press secretary Caroline Levitt. This is cut three. Who was saying exactly that. This is just the beginning of what they have planned. Play it.
Caroline Levitt
We are in the beginning stages of carrying out the largest deportation campaign in American history. Over this past weekend, it was announced that through Operation Tidal Wave, a joint effort between ICE, Miami and Florida law enforcement agencies, nearly 800 illegal aliens were arrested during the first four days alone. Operation Tidal Wave is a preview of what is to come around this country. Large scale operations that employ our state and local enforcement partners to get criminal illegal aliens off our streets. As always, President Trump and our entire administration are grateful for the courageous law enforcement officers who are putting their lives on the line every single day to protect their fellow Americans and to keep our country safe.
Buck Sexton
Clay, this is, as she said, just the early stages of this. There's going to be a whole lot more. I'll talk in a moment here. We can get into the storyline that they put to Marco Rubio on the Sunday shows that you deported like a five year old with cancer. And we'll discuss the response to that. Actually, they deported a woman, a mother who's not supposed to be here, and they let her take her child with her. Which is. What is the alternative to that? The alternative is you're going to deport the mother and the child is going to stay in America. Then, then we'd be accused of like federal government kidnapping or something. Something. But we can get back into that here in a moment. First off, I thought this was a really important observation. I know you just talked to Tom Holman, Clay, last week. You had, you had an interview with him in D.C. this is a guy who understands the moment and knows what is necessary here for the country to move forward and for the right things to happen on immigration. And he's been doing this a really long time, which gives him the perspective of somebody who can say without question that this is meaning. What Biden did was the biggest betrayal of the American people and our sovereignty on the immigration issue ever, ever, certainly in his lifetime. And I think you would have to argue that we have ever seen. This is cut six. He says he worked for six presidents. And what Biden did, unprecedented.
Tom Holman
I worked for six presidents, starting with Ronald Reagan. Every president ever worked for took border security seriously because you can't have national security if you don't have strong border security. Even President Obama and President Clinton took some steps to secure the border. They understood national security was important. Joe Biden was the first president in the history of this nation who came into office and unsecured a border on purpose. That's just a fact. We handed the Biden administration after President Trump's first administration, we handed the Biden administration the most secure border in my lifetime. And he unsecured it on purpose.
Buck Sexton
Clay, just like with the Biden cover up, it wasn't a mistake. It was a decision.
Clay Travis
I would like to know who made the decision, because this is why I think Biden's decrepitude matters. Because ultimately all you're doing is when you elect a president is saying, I trust this person to make some of the most difficult judgment calls in the world. This person is who I want sitting there when. And you know this, Buck, because you've made these arguments in the Oval Office when you were still working with the CIA, where you have two really smart guys or gals sitting across from you arguing two different perspectives. And ultimately you have to make the call as to which one of them has the better argument, who has the best judgment, who actually made these choices inside of the Biden White House. And I would like that to be known because I would like for that person to answer for opening the border wide open like this, for instance. Buck, do you think they just miscalculated and didn't realize how many illegals were going to come across because they suddenly panicked? Obvious in an election year, but by that point there had already been 10 million illegals come across the border. What was their ultimate aim and how did they think it was going to play out? Because even by standards of lax border security, they took it to a level we had never seen before. And unfortunately, all of us are going to be paying the price for that failure for years and years to come.
Buck Sexton
I think that their plan was the one, two punch of flood the zone. Flood America with as many illegals as fast as you possibly can, so that the weight of the issue then becomes unavoidable. And there's a narrative of we have no choice. But in the second Democrat term, which they were expecting for Biden and I guess maybe even for Kamala, but they thought they would get because of the problem. Remember now, it seems crazy. They brought criminal, four different criminal cases against Donald Trump. They thought they had him finished off by making him the first criminal president in history. Right? This was the whole plan. So they assumed, I think, Clay, they would have had four more years and then that that Democrat president would have even via executive means if necessary, you know, finding some way to, to give them, the document, you know, whatever it is that they had to do to effectuate a mass amnesty, I truly believe that that was the plan. Because Tom Holman, I've never heard Tom Homan say something that wasn't straight on the money on this issue. And when he says, I worked for six presidents, Biden's team did this intentionally. It's gospel. They did this on purpose. And the only way they would do it on purpose is that they had a plan beyond just letting them in, which was to make them stay forever and create a permanent Democrat majority in the process. People dependent on the state, people who are going to view the Democrat Party as their saviors, as, you know, bringing them into the country. And that was the game. And Donald Trump has saved the country from this. But it is a reprieve. It is not salvation. It is four years to figure out what to do about it. Right. It's not like the issue is gone.
Clay Travis
And the problem that we have. And this is what I talked about with Tom Homan, and this is, I think, the biggest story structurally associated with the border. Our laws allowed Biden to let in 10 million illegals, and there was virtually no stopping it. Now those 10 million illegals are here. Tom Holmanbach said that he thinks the number of illegals in the country is roughly 20 million. How do you get those people out? Because right now, the laws that we have to put in place that would allow us to deport those people are incredibly time consuming. And so the best possible case scenario is you can deport about 350,000 people a year right now under the pace with which we are deporting people. If that's true, if that's the number, it would take 30 years roughly, to get all of the illegals that Biden let in out of the country. And that's assuming that we keep the same protocols in place. This is why we have to change the way that we deport. And this is why I think there was a cold calculus behind the Democrat decision. It was, once they get in here, it's almost impossible for them to get them out. And that's a problem because we have a different standard for illegals getting in than we have for getting the illegals out. And that disconnect means Democrats are playing the long game. They feel like those people are never going to leave and we're never going to be able to force them out.
Buck Sexton
I mean, look at what this judge did in Milwaukee, which got a lot of attention. And we talked about it on Friday, violating the law as A judge and thwarting the efforts of immigration enforcement officers. Because you're so convinced, as somebody who's supposed to be not just knowledgeable in the law, but administering justice through the law day in and day out, that this country has no right to have the immigration laws that it does and that you should, as a judge, supersede those laws. Somehow there's a greater moral authority. I mean, this, this judge, this woman in judicial robes, you get the sense she thinks she's operating in some higher moral plane. You know, like, like this is going, going back in our country's history and she's somebody who's, you know, operating the underground railroad or something and letting people get to freedom. You say to yourself, well, hold on a second. Is that, is that really what you do? You think that our immigration laws are deeply immoral? Because if Democrats really think that, the same way that obviously slavery was deeply immoral, they should make that case openly. The problem is, if they made that case openly, Clay, then they'd be telling everybody in this country, America has a claim to your, to your labor, to your money, to your life. Perhaps even if we. You are called into service. If this country were attacked as an American. But anybody can come here whenever they want and stay as long as they want, and they can live by a separate set of rules as long as they didn't start out as an American. That's a just regime. That's fair. You're talking about the dissolution of the country over a not too long a timeline.
Clay Travis
And the question is the only thing that makes sense. Remember when you weren't even allowed to say this? I think they tried. The only thing that makes sense is they think these people are going to become citizens. And if they become citizens, they're going to vote Democrat. That's the only argument for why this is occurring. That they are playing the long range generational game of these illegal immigrants are going to come into the country and they are going to give us political power also. And this is something else I would encourage the Trump administration to do. I know we have the birthright citizenship case. Buck, what's your take on this? Because I think it's the other aspect of this that's really important that doesn't get discussed enough. For purposes of the census for the House of Representatives, they count illegal immigrants as part of the overall 700,000 ish people that each congressman represents. By doing so, Democrats are stealing about 10 house seats. Because even though these theoretical illegal immigrants can't vote, they count for purposes of census apportionment. And so if you are a sanctuary city and you have 200,000 illegal immigrants in your, in your district, you have 500,000 legal citizens, based on my understanding of how the law is being applied right now, 200,000 non citizens. But they would still combine for a district of 700,000. And that's a, in a, in a, in a basically roughly even House. That's a benefit of about 10 seats in the House.
Buck Sexton
California in our youth even was a pretty reliably red Republican stronghold of all the best things about America. And the Democrats let the place get completely flooded with illegals. They flipped it to a forever Democrat supermajority and now still a beautiful state. We love our California listeners. Thank you for, you know, maintaining sanity behind enemy lines. It is run by progressive lunatics and now they're losing hundreds of thousands of people a year or over a course of years because they can't stand to be there anymore. That's just, it's just the microcosm of what they want to do to America. Same thing, flood the zone with illegals. People who are going to need state resources and help. They're going to make sure that the Democrats stay in power forever. And then, you know, the whole country gets run like California from the federal level. That's the whole plan, right? I mean, I don't think it's more complicated than that. They want to use the California model for America.
Clay Travis

Into Clay and Buck here. Just an update on this. I talked to you about this last week. India and Pakistan could go to war any minute. That could happen. It would probably be a an incursion in in part of, you know, in a limited battlefield space. But these are two countries with considerable militaries that hate each other and have nuclear weapons, and they've been gearing up for this kind of a fight for a long time. So just something worth noting. India has cut off water from the Indus river to Pakistan, which is necessary for all of its irrigation for agriculture, which is a huge part of the economy, and Pakistan needs to feed itself. But Pakistan, according to India, was behind this terrorist attack in Kashmir that killed dozens of people. I think was 26 people killed. And they have had enough. So, yeah, it is. Things are escalating over there. We will continue to keep an eye on that. I was thinking about it also, because Marco Rubio over the weekend was on the Sunday shows. And I think, you know, Rubio, you got to give this guy a lot of credit. He, he had a tough campaign against Trump in 2016, and now he has become really one of the, in the early days here, one of the indispensable members of this Trump cabinet and has not missed a step, from what I can see is one of the. He got a hundred or 99, maybe there was somebody who was gone that day. But basically everybody in the Senate voted for his confirmation, even his Democrat colleagues. And you don't hear any, you don't hear any blunders, really. You don't hear any criticism of Marco from anybody who knows anything. You only hear people talking about how this is a role that he has really, he's really kind of grown into the role, I feel like, or, you know, risen to this occasion as secretary of State and doing a very strong job. Let's get into some of what they, they tried to go at him with here, Clay, over the weekend. First off, I mentioned this in the first hour, but there are these stories about deportations of people who have children and the children go with them. And guess what? The media says we're deporting children. Right. This is, this is how. And Clay, this is what we thought all along. You know, the MS.13 gang member thing is a tougher. That's a tougher field to plow. Right. That's a tougher situation here. But the kids, Abuela, you know, whoever it is, you know, that's where you start to say, ok, they're pulling on people's heartstrings here.
Clay Travis
Yes, I think this is where they miscalculated, Buck, because they should have waited till a story like this as opposed to trying to make Abreu Garcia the face of everything wrong with Trump's deportation. Now they pivoted, I think, because they're recognizing, hey, maybe a wife beating, human trafficking, illegal gang member, allegedly. We know he was illegal, but all those other things, there's ample evidence of as well, was not the guy we should have made the focal point of our entire opposition to the immigration policy. So they now, I think Buck, are trying to pivot because they're recognizing that that was a flawed strategy.
Buck Sexton
Yes. Here is Rubio, though, talking about what really happened and he's straight up saying media's no surprise media is lying to you about the deportation of children play 24.
I
That's a misleading headline. Okay? Three US citizens ages 4, 7 and 2 were not deported. Their mothers who are legally in this country were deported. The children went with their mothers. Those children are US Citizens. They can come back into the United States if there's their father or someone here who wants to assume them. But ultimately who was deported was their mother.
Buck Sexton
Who.
I
Their mothers who were here illegally. The children just went with their mothers. But it wasn't like. You guys make it sound like ICE agents kicked down the door and grabbed the 2 year old and threw them on an airplane. That's misleading. Yeah, that's just not true.
Buck Sexton
And that's the point, right? They were misleading on purpose. They're deporting citizen US Citizen children. Well, the alternative would be sending the mom out of the country. And then the story would be they're separating families, they're taking small children and not letting them ever see their mothers again because, you know, okay, so do we want family, you know, family staying together or not?
Clay Travis
This is also the challenge with birthright citizenship at some level. And this is why it has to be addressed. And this is why I said I would layer on top of it the fact that the birthright citizenship has to be addressed with larger questions about American immigration policy. But why in the world are we allowing people who commit crimes to be here illegally to then be able to have children that become American citizens? Most of the universe, Buck, you don't get to commit one crime and then layer it with a benefit. And this would be an analogy, right? You don't get to. And this is serious. Right. But if you commit a crime and someone dies, Right. You don't get to then get the life insurance policy. Right. If they can prove that you committed a crime in order to get the benefit, you lose your ability to the benefit. Why would we allow. This is very logical to me. And much of the, uh, much of the law would agree with me. You don't get the benefit of a crime. But in the case of illegal immigrants coming here, they do get the benefit of the crime, which is they're here, they shouldn't be here. And then they have a child. And so their illegal act has led to a benefit being conveyed to them. Why in the world is that remotely legal? And so again, I know the Supreme Court's going to hear it. I think there are many complicating aspects of birthright citizenship, but ultimately we're talking about deportations. Now the big challenge is Republicans who want to deport are not going to be in power for the next 30 years. I'd love for that to be the case. Not going to happen. There will be Democrats. And when those Democrats come in, Buck, I think there's a very strong likelihood that like Biden, they just open the border wide open again and 10 million more illegals come in and the Darien gap is flooded again. And, and this is the reality. And a lot of people in Latin America and around the world know they'll wait. We saw it happen when the guy came in with the Biden T shirt on. Remember, as soon as he won, Biden wants us to come. They understand incentive structure. Jobs are a tough incentive to eliminate because it's a sign of how good and vibrant our economy is. But birthright citizenship, it shouldn't exist. We really have to have a more honest conversation about this because you're encouraging people to commit crimes by giving them a benefit as a result of committing that crime.
Buck Sexton
I think it's very important to remember all of the things that come along with the mass of illegal entry into the country we were talking about. Yes, sovereignty, yes. The social and political fabric of our country being stretched to the breaking point by people arriving who have all of the same claims to this country, according to Democrats, as those who are here and those who have built the country and those who are actual Americans. But beyond that, all you have to do is go talk to anybody in Border patrol. They'll tell you because of the overwhelming numbers at the border, they couldn't, they couldn't even begin to put a dent in the fentanyl importation. You know, illegal fentanyl trade into the country, which is killing large numbers of Americans. And remember, for the fentanyl that, that causes overdoses is also causing addiction, which is destroying families and job loss and causing crime from addicts wanting to go out and feed the habit and destroying neighborhoods because of the consolidation of the attics in certain areas of cities. I mean, you know, it. It's all of this that happens and the border plays directly into all of it. Right? There are people who are ODing, there are criminals who are stealing. There are these things that are happening in Chicago because of our wide open border in el Paso and McAllen and, you know, not anymore, but under Biden. Right. So there's all of this stuff that happens because of the decision, as we've been talking about, the decision that Biden made was a decision to bring all these secondary second order effects, right? These other things that come forward that are really bad and people need to understand it's really bad for the American people. And this is why what Trump is doing, there's so much that comes from this. It's almost like broken windows policing in a city to. So all of a sudden the businesses come back and I live this in New York City, right? Broken windows policing, the Giuliani miracle. All of a sudden, you know, women are jogging at night and they feel safe and new businesses are opening and real estate development happens. When you don't have a wide open border, all of a sudden there's more resources to go after the cartels. Not as many overdoses, not as much organized drug crime in cities and so on and so forth. There's so much that comes from this.
Clay Travis
I would also. I think this is important. I bet you get these emails and these comments and these reach outs too. On this front, there's a different way of defining deportation because every time I say, hey, 350,000, that's roughly the pace. I hope we can increase it. But obviously that's a pin prick of the 10 million illegals that came in, people will send me links and they'll say, oh, that's not true. So and so deported. This number a lot of times historically, meaning in the last 25 or 30 years, the way deportation has been counted is people being rejected at the border. That is different than people who have entered the country and are then sent out. A lot of times when they say, oh, Obama was deporter in chief, according to what I've been told, that's because there were people being rejected trying to enter the country, which was counted as a deportation. What we're talking about is there are 20 million illegals physically in our country right now. That's according to Tom Holman, roughly 20 million. Over 10 million of those came in during the four years that Biden was here. In order to get those 20 million out, you have to physically get them here. There's two ways, right? They could leave voluntarily, which hopefully maybe some are starting to do. Although Tom Holman told me the numbers reflect maybe around 5,000 that they know of deciding to go back. Otherwise. You have to get these people, gather them and take them out of the country, which is very time consuming, which is very costly. And right now we're on a pace to do about 350,000 of those a year. You do the math. And even if you did 350,000 of those for a year long into the future, you're talking about needing 30 years in order. And that's assuming no new illegals are coming in. You're talking about 30 years to get those people out of the country. Democrats know that that is highly unlikely because again, if they win elections, they're going to add in millions more. That's what they have put the roadblock in. That's why they're doing it.
Buck Sexton
So I remember doing shows on this clay a decade ago and it was so dishonest what they were doing at the time. But what you mentioned is absolutely true, which is that while they were saying this is around 2014, so Obama's, you know, this is when they were trying to get the amnesty bill through. They're saying Obama's the deporter in chief. Look at these deportation numbers. He takes border, the border seriously. The whole thing was a ruse. It was a, it was a fraud. And what they did was they changed the, the official statistic instead of what had been just termed catch and release and not counted in the figures, which is you get caught at the border, they put you on a bus and you're back across the border, end of story. Anybody that fell into that category was now considered a, quote, deportation. Meanwhile, this is the other part of it. I know you, you articulated this. The actual number of people who were in the American interior, not at the border, who were being deported year in and year out under the Obama administration up to 2014, when they were trying to do this, cratered down 50%, give or take. So they just decided to stop enforcing immigration law in America and change the way that they counted the day to day border patrol operations at the border to make it seem like they were doing a job that they weren't actually doing at all. Classic Obama. That was the whole, that was the whole move. And you know, people figured that out. Though I will say Republicans at that time lit up the congressional switchboards and people realized that the amnesty bill was a total disaster in part because when this swindle came out, everyone goes, oh, so you're just lying to us. You're just. And all we're going to get is amnesty. No, no enforcement's going to really happen. Which was true.

And again, this is where I would say Congress does need to act because we at least need to try to put in place opportunities to stop the next Democrat president from coming in and doing exactly what Joe Biden did, which was get his pen out, reverse every policy that was in place with Trump, and wide open the borders. We need to try and stop that from becoming a possibility if, who knows, AOC is suddenly, God forbid, elected president and then gets takes the oath of office in 2029. Do you think she wouldn't just wide open the border as soon as she got there? Of course she would.

There are very few nonprofit organizations who can claim that they have saved the lives of 300,000 tiny babies and help bring them into this world. But preborn can. Now, they say this with modesty, but they want you to know the truth, which is that they're saving lives on the front lines of the fight for life day in and day out. This nonprofit has been around for 20 years and they have a mission. As you know, we're in the post Roe v. Wade era, but there are a lot of states with as many abortions happening, if not more, than before the Supreme Court finally did the right thing on Roe. And so it's incumbent upon those of us in the pro life community to do what we can to save as many lives as possible. I got to tell you, every time I look at my little son, I think of the urgency of this mission because I want every other would be parent out there to have that moment. They realize this is the most precious gift they could ever have for mom, for dad, the most amazing little miracle. And preborn is there to introduce them to that miracle and help them make the decision for life. They do this by bringing in moms who are in a crisis pregnancy and first offering them an ultrasound because that ultrasound creates that bond so often that is unshakable and unbreakable and leads mom to choose life for the baby growing in her womb. But they need your help. They get no money from the government. Preborn accomplishes their free ultrasound process by just with $28 in ultrasound. So you can sponsor an ultrasound right now by donating $28. Some of you are incredibly fortunate. You've done very well in your careers and you've built up assets and maybe you want to donate a hundred times that amount. And some of you have done that. When I said this, I know some of you might think, oh my gosh, really? Yeah. There. Some of you have already stepped up big time and donated 20, $282,800, whatever you can spare. It's 100% tax deductible and you're saving lives right now. To donate, securely dial pound 250 and say the keyword baby. That's pound 250, say baby or visit preborn.com buck preborn.com b u c k sponsored by preborn.

The episode provides a critical analysis of media coverage, immigration strategies, and their broader implications on American politics and society.
1. Media Integrity and Coverage of President Biden
Clay and Buck begin by addressing the media's portrayal of President Biden, particularly concerning his mental and physical capabilities to lead the nation.
Critical Analysis of Media Awards:
Discussion on Alex Thompson's Recognition:
NBC News Critique:
Insight: The hosts argue that mainstream media has consistently downplayed or dismissed concerns regarding President Biden's fitness for office, awarding individuals who they believe have only minimally addressed these issues. They emphasize a perceived bias where truthful reporting is marginalized or criticized.
2. Immigration Policies and Border Security
A significant portion of the episode focuses on the Biden administration's immigration policies, specifically criticizing the handling and perceived intentional undermining of border security.
Operation Tidal Wave and Mass Deportations:
Discussion on Deportation Rates and Challenges:
Impact on American Politics:
Notable Quote:
Insight: Travis and Sexton contend that the Biden administration deliberately weakened border security to allow mass immigration, aiming to shift demographic and political power towards the Democratic Party. They highlight logistical challenges in deporting millions of illegal immigrants and express concern over the long-term effects on congressional representation and national security.
3. Birthright Citizenship and Legal Implications
The hosts delve into the controversial topic of birthright citizenship, questioning its legality and consequences.
Insight: Travis and Sexton argue that birthright citizenship incentivizes illegal immigration and complicates deportation efforts. They advocate for legal reforms to prevent children of illegal immigrants from automatically gaining U.S. citizenship, drawing parallels to not rewarding illegal acts with benefits.
4. International Relations: India and Pakistan Tensions
The episode touches on escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, highlighting potential conflict triggers.
Insight: The hosts warn of the imminent threat of conflict between India and Pakistan, exacerbated by resource disputes and accusations of terrorism. They underscore the potential global ramifications of such a conflict, emphasizing the need for vigilant monitoring.
5. Health Care Alternatives and Critique of Obamacare
Transiting to domestic policy, Travis and Sexton critique the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and promote alternative health care solutions.
Insight: The hosts express dissatisfaction with Obamacare, positioning alternative plans like "Ease for Everyone" as more affordable and comprehensive solutions. They emphasize the need for health care reform that offers better coverage at lower costs.
6. Pro-Life Advocacy and Preborn Organization
Preborn, a pro-life nonprofit, is spotlighted with a focus on its mission to save unborn lives.
Insight: Preborn's efforts to support expectant mothers through accessible ultrasounds are highlighted as a critical component of the pro-life movement. The hosts advocate for donations to sustain the organization's life-saving initiatives.
7. Current Immigration Enforcement and Public Reactions
Further discussion revolves around specific immigration enforcement actions and their portrayal in the media.
Notable Quote:
Insight: Travis and Sexton critique the media for sensationalizing deportation stories, arguing that actual cases involve legal complexities such as the deportation of parents while children retain citizenship. They assert that media narratives distort the reality of immigration enforcement actions.
8. Implications for House Representation and Democracy
The hosts explore how immigration policies affect political representation and the fairness of the democratic process.
Insight: Travis and Sexton argue that including illegal immigrants in census counts disproportionately benefits the Democratic Party by inflating population figures, thus securing more House seats. They suggest this manipulation undermines the principles of fair representation in American democracy.
9. Conclusion and Final Thoughts
In wrapping up the episode, Clay and Buck reinforce their concerns about media integrity, immigration policies, and their long-term effects on the United States.
Insight: The hosts emphasize the necessity of maintaining strong border security and media accountability to preserve national integrity and democratic values. They advocate for proactive measures to counteract policies they perceive as detrimental to the nation's future.
