Welcome in Wednesday Edition, Clay and Buck. We appreciate all of you and we have got breaking news across a series of locations around the world. In particular, President Trump is in Davos and he spoke earlier today and said a great deal about a huge variety of topics at that event. Also last night, Buck, as I was getting ready to go to bed, they had to turn around to Air Force One and Switch to a different plane to fly to Davos. I know that it doesn't get talked about very much, but it is pretty extraordinary that President Trump flew all night to Switzerland, landed, and now is going to spend a full day doing a ton of serious and intense representation of the United States on the global stage. For those of you who have taken overnight flights, and people say, oh, well, he's got a. He's got a bed. He can just. I mean, he's working most of the time, and no, he's not actually sleeping very much, and he's rolling straight in and nailing all of these things. So let's start with this. And it's probably the most significant aspect of all the things that he said. And he has said, I will not use force to take Greenland, as we told you was the case. But the media had been losing their mind over, oh, my God, Trump's going to invade Greenland and we're going to have a war. And here's cut five.
Donald Trump
We never asked for anything and we never got anything. We probably won't get anything unless I decide to use excessive strength and force where we would be, frankly, unstoppable. But I won't do that. Okay? Now everyone's saying, oh, good. That's probably the biggest statement I made because people thought I would use force. I don't have to use force. I don't want to use force. I won't use force. All the United States is asking for is a place called Greenland, where we already had it as a trustee, but respectfully returned it back to Denmark not long ago. After we defeated the Germans, the Japanese, the Italians and others In World War II, we gave it back to them.
Clay Travis
Okay, Buck. Last night I was doing reading on the history of, of, you know, American expansion, as one does, and a buddy of mine who was also a Virgin Islands lawyer, he sent me this article that was really interesting about the acquisition.
Buck Sexton
Yes, I was gonna say, two Virgin Islands lawyers walk into a bar. It sounds like the start of a great show.
Clay Travis
There's not. There's not a lot of us. But he sent me an article, and it was a good read. And I've been talking about the fact that we acquired the US Virgin Islands in 1917, paid $25 million in gold and bought it from the Dutch. Here is an article about that negotiation. Lansing. This is highlighted, insinuated. This is the. I believe the Secretary of State back in the day, Lansing, in 1917, insinuated that if Denmark didn't sell the US the islands, it just might go and seize them to prevent Germany from getting to them. It was a bullying tactic, and it worked. Eager to prevent a US Military attack, Denmark was currently a neutral party in World War I. Denmark negotiated a treaty with the U.S. that President Wilson signed in 1917. On March 31, 1917, Denmark formally transferred governance over the islands to the U.S. and the U.S. reciprocated by paying Denmark $25 million in gold coin. What is old can be new again. Now we're going to get into a bunch of what Trump said, but I did think it was intriguing that 100 years ago, one of the negotiation tactics involved in the United States taking control of the Virgin Islands was, if you don't sell it, we're just going to take it might. Throughout history, Buck has often made right. Trump understands this, and I think it's a sign of how significant his pursuit of Greenland has become, that of all the things that he said, I think it is receiving the most consequential attention surrounding the Greenland decision. Did that stand out to you the most in terms of newsworthy statements of the moment to you, or was there other things that stood out in particular there?
Buck Sexton
There are a few. A few funny aspects of this. One is you could really feel the exhale from so many of the assembled.
Clay Travis
Eurocrats in that room.
Buck Sexton
Oh, you mean he's not actually going to just seize it by force? No, dude, he's not going to seize your island with the Marines. We're not going to be sending F35s in the sky and blowing up Greenland air defenses. We're not going to make them throw harpoons at our tanks like, it's fine. Ok? We're not going to do that. And just the fact that there was real, apparently real concern, as it was reported among the assembled, that Trump is just going to be like, it's mine. I'm taking it. So that's, that's one aspect of it. There's also Clay, something else, because I've been looking into this as well. Now, I am not licensed to practice law in the US Virgin Islands, but I am good at deep dive Internet research. So I was wondering, I was like, where else does the United States have something that is a analogous arrangement or situational territory?
Clay Travis
A territory, I mean, is the official legal term.
Buck Sexton
Well, but there's something else, actually. You, you, you, you jump in. And yes, that's part one, part two. We have territories like the Virgin Islands. We also have something that I, I honestly had not heard of before, which is a voluntary compact, essentially. And now we have this with Micronesia. So that, that, that is, that is similar here. It's called a compact of free association. And we have this with a number of islands in the Pacific. Now it gives us defense basically. It gives us the right to provide their defense, but we get basing rights. We also have free total control over their waterways for strategic military purposes and their air. But we totally defend them. They visa free migration to the U.S. a lot of U.S. federal assistance given to them, economic assistance for education, health, infrastructure. But if they decided they don't like the situation, they can end it. This requires just vote of this is not a 2/3 Senate treaty situation. A compact of free association would just be a majority in the Congress, a majority in the House, in the Senate, signed by the President. So it's a lot easier to do now. It's not as, it's not as enduring. But I'm just saying we already have this with thousands of little islands in the Pacific where we say, look, we're.
Clay Travis
Going to protect you, we're going to.
Buck Sexton
Hook you up with some stuff, but if we need to like build an air base somewhere, we're all good, right? Like we have control.
Clay Travis
Yeah. Look, some of the Danes would argue based on the World War II relationship that we had with Greenland, that we have access to Greenland to protect for purposes of military related issues. That's why I think this is actually twofold, Buck. And I think Trump is being a little bit sneaky on this. He's primarily selling that we need Greenland for military reasons and I do think there's a lot of legitimacy for that. But the secondary part is he wants to control the long range future of Greenland as the minerals there are potentially able to be mined. So I think he's trying. And again, a lot of times this happens with any of you who've dealt with real estate developers, there can be a mutuality of goal. And so the lead is, oh, we need this for military purposes and it gets a lot of attention. But if we have the ability to defend Greenland in a way that is significant already. The secondary and maybe primary in many ways aspect of this, Buck, is I really do think that he wants to have complete title to Greenland so that the United States has the ability to profit off of it in the years ahead. And, and that is why I think the territory example like the US Virgin Islands, Guam, that to me is where we would wedge Greenland in if I were trying to project how it should happen.
Buck Sexton
It also though wouldn't be Trump if he didn't take this opportunity like the right wing uncle at Thanksgiving, to just lay down the facts of life a little bit for some of the commies sitting around and some of the. The whiny libs, the snowflakes, as we used to call them a decade or so ago. Here he is telling all those Europeans, you know it's coming without us. You'd be speaking German and Japanese Play.
Donald Trump
We saw this in World War II when Denmark fell to Germany after just six hours of fighting and was totally unable to defend either itself or Greenland. So the United States was then compelled. We did it. We felt an obligation to do it, to send our own forces to hold the Greenland territory, and hold it we did, at great cost and expense, and they didn't have a chance of getting on it, and they tried. Denmark knows that. We literally set up bases on Greenland for Denmark. We fought for Denmark. We weren't fighting for anyone else. We were fighting to save it for Denmark. Big, beautiful piece of ice. It's hard to call it land. It's a big piece of ice. But we saved Greenland and successfully prevented our enemies from gaining a foothold in our hemisphere. So we did it for ourselves also. And then after the war, which we won, we won it big. Without us, right now, you'd all be speaking German and a little Japanese. Perhaps after the war, we gave Greenland back to Denmark. How stupid were we to do that? But we did it. But we gave it back. But how ungrateful are they now?
Buck Sexton
Okay, so, by the way, there's a great podcast opportunity. Trump does History. So then we crush the Nazis. Huge crushing of the evil, evil, bad Nazis. And the Japanese, very bad, too. The Japanese, good cars in the 80s, bad World War II Japanese. I. Would you not listen to Trump does history as a podcast. It'd be amazing.
Clay Travis
Only extemporaneous.
Buck Sexton
Allowed, though.
Clay Travis
It is great, too, for him to go in front of that entire European community and remind them that the only reason they have freedom and the only reason that they're not speaking German and perhaps a little Japanese, which is a just a great aside, the way to the way that Trump delivered it. I do think when you break all of this down, I'm going to make a prediction, Buck. I think we're going to get Greenland. I just. I don't know exactly what the time frame is going to be, but I think it's going to fit some form of territorial, like the Virgin Islands, like Guam, some form of construct like that. I think it'll be more substantial than the agreement you're talking about, Buck. Now, they may argue for purposes of Trying to look like they are just completely relenting to Trump. They may say, well, this is just a mutual. He's not getting anything that he wants. Right. Like there could be an element of the way the media plays it. But I think Trump wants, you know, free and clear title of Greenland and the ability to develop its resources for the next hundreds of years for the United States. I think he's going to get it and I think it may lead to us having to pay off all of the 57,000 people who live in Greenland. Right. It's not going to be cheap and we're not going to seize it. To your point, with boots on the ground, there's not going to be paratroopers coming into Greenland. But I do think that there's going to be some form of agreement reached.
Buck Sexton
You know what this really means. We're heading toward Clay and Buck's excellent Greenland adventure. I'm already doing the research. It's happening. I'm working on my dog sledding skills. I'm going to get it all going. We're going to be ready for Greenland, hopefully by this summer. We're going to get this thing in motion.
Clay Travis
Look, I think there is a, an element of, of, of capitulation that's already in place. Even Naito is saying in the UN and all these other different groups, I think they're going to have to roll over and Trump's going to dominate them. It just feels inevitable to me that that is where we are headed. And part of this. We were just talking about the energy. Buck that Trump has flies overnight. They have to turn Air Force One around, bring it back to Andrews Air Force Base, change the planes, and yet he's right now going full speed, basically no sleep, delivering and leading on the global stage. Second hour of clay and Buck kicks off right now. Thanks so much for being here with us, everybody. Democrats still pushing hard on making Minneapolis their new pseudo civil rights struggle. Trump spoke about this actually last night. I think it was the inaugural episode of Katie Pavlich's new show on News Nation. Katie's an old friend from the beginning of my time in this business and congrats to her on a new show. She left Fox and got her own, her own show on News Nation. This is Trump talking to Katie about the situation in this is cut 29, the situation in Minnesota. And no surprise, Trump's laying it down.
Donald Trump
Something's wrong when a place like Minnesota, which is good place, it's got a horrible governor, it's got horrible people. This Elon Musk Omar is horrible. I mean, she comes from a country that doesn't even have a government. They have nothing. And she comes here and she lectures us on the Constitution. She's got constitutional rights. She's just horrible. Somebody said she's worth $30 million. Well, therefore she's obviously a very dishonest person and she should be looked at for that. So you have a couple of things. You have the money thing and then you have the all of the fake nonsense going on and screaming to people. They're so professional, Clay.
Buck Sexton
They are not only lying about ice. I keep having to point this out. I think it's very important, everybody knows is they make this situation more difficult on purpose too. Not just the obstruction of ice. I mean the elected officials in places like Minneapolis and Minnesota as a state creating sanctuary Jurisdictions necessitates the kind of ICE presence and forward leaning ICE activities that we see. Because here's something that won't shock anyone. The people that they are going after aren't just here illegally. The ones that are the top of the list and this is why Trump was showing at the White House yesterday all those wanted posters. You know, wanted murder wanted, you know, pedophilia wanted rape wanted, all these different things. And Clay, it's because they're already being processed through the system. They've already been arrested. These are people who overwhelmingly have already had a run in with the law and because they refuse to just give ICE a heads up, hey, we've got your guy. Do you want him? They have to go and get them in the streets. They are causing this whole situation. The Democrats are forcing all of this.
Clay Travis
The subpoenas story went out yesterday for Mayor Fry, for Tim Walls, for a bunch of other Keith Ellison, I believe the Attorney general of the state of Minnesota. What I am hearing from people and I don't know if you hear this Buck, but on my day to day, when are the charges coming? We have seen and heard outrage and I get it. I understand a lot of people out there say, well there's lots of people who are very good at going on government people going on and condemning things. We can't have this happening. I am outraged all those things. I think a lot of people now are saying winter charges going to come because otherwise you're just fulminating outrage. But it doesn't lead to any tangible result. So do you think there's any chance that we will see charges Buck against either Mayor Fry, Tim Walls or any of their high level officials relating to the Minnesota fraud, relating to anti ICE protests, the encouragement of them? Do you think anything happens to Fry or Walls in any kind of significant way? We'll ask Michelle FOIA this too top of the next hour because she's running for Senate now as a Republican candidate from Minnesota. She just announced today. But do you think anything happens? Because that's the number one thing I hear. Okay, we've heard all this. When are there going to be tangible results?
Buck Sexton
No. Yeah, they're not going to prosecute either of them. And again if I'm wrong, I'll come on and admit that I'm wrong. But I don't think I'm going to be wrong on this one. Oh, is there a cow for this? On whether or not they'll be prosecuted?
Clay Travis
Yes. Oh yes there is. I'll pull it up. Here we go.
Buck Sexton
Right now, because money where his mouth is with the buckster.
Clay Travis
Let's see if you have. I think will Walls face criminal charges? Let me see. Let me see if I can find it. But yes, you can put a line on. Will anyone be charged in the Minnesota daycare fraud before January 1st? Anyone?
Buck Sexton
Anyone? I think is absolutely. Of course there are people that stole millions of dollars in there. They've got them dead to rights. But the governor of Minnesota over this, no way. No way.
Clay Travis
I'm looking right now as whether he will face charges. I think he should. But I do not believe. I kind of square with you where I just kind of gotten used to no one of any significance ever getting charged. Now, to be fair, they did manage to get Letitia James charged, and they did manage to get, you know, a couple of comey charged. But then almost immediately, they were able to fight it by saying, hey, this is unacceptable. And the way that the indictments came down with Lindsey Halligan, she was not appropriately set up. And so they were able to figure out a way to get out of that. But I am just skeptical, and I'm not even talking about convictions, because I think one of the biggest challenges, even if you charge them, would be getting a jury that would convict in Minnesota, because you're seeing a lot of people won't convict in. In D.C. i mean, it's a small thing, but the guy on camera who threw a Subway sandwich at an ICE official, they couldn't actually get. They couldn't actually get any conviction against him. The grand jury refused to. To indict. All right, here's the. Here's a way to look at it, Buck. Will anyone be who will be charged with a federal crime in 2026? John Brennan favored to be charged. Letitia James favored to be charged. Elon OMAR, right at 50. 50. So that would be significant. Tim Walls, 44% chance. Buck. 44% prediction market chance right now that Tim Walls will face charges at some point in 2026. So basically, according to the gambling markets, a 5050 proposition on whether he will face any sort of significant. And Jacob Fry is 35%, by the way.
Caller Richard
Well, let's.
Buck Sexton
Let's unpack this for a second. And I know right now, people, I can hear the booing from many of you all across America. Boo. I'm not saying I don't want him to face charges, but first I would want to know. I'm saying I don't think it will happen. So it's a prediction. That's why we're talking about prediction.
Clay Travis
Markets.
Buck Sexton
What would the charge be? Being a moron. If that's the charge, we got a lot. We're not going to have enough room in the prisons for all the Democrats, my friends. What's the charge? Failure to be a. Failure to be a good politician. Give me a break.
Clay Travis
It would be, I think it would have. Well, first of all, the odds of him being able to have been proven to directly profit off of the fraud is very, very high. But look, maybe you subpoena documents. I think it's hard to say, hey, there was this amount of $dollars of fraud in Minnesota and Somali healthcare and back channel, Tim Walls was making money. I think that's a hard accusation to make. So I do think that would be somewhat challenging to analyze. By the way, here's one that jumped out at me. Don Lemon, 76% chance that he will be charged.
Buck Sexton
That one. I would not. I'm not so smug about my prediction or, or, or my betting on that. I wouldn't, I can't. That to me is a 50, 50 proposition. Tim Walls, I would give someone, and I always do this wrong, 1 to 10 or 10 to 1, but the chance is extremely small that Tim Walls.
Clay Travis
You think it's very low chance that he will be facing charges?
Buck Sexton
I would think it's, it should be. If I were setting those odds, I would say it's a 10 to 1 chance for Tim Walls. I think for, for Don Lemon, it is a 50, 50 shot.
Clay Travis
Look, if our boy, Don Lemon, it's 76%. I mean, that seems like a pretty decent chance. My only concern with charging somebody like Don Lemon with a crime.
Buck Sexton
Oh, you'll create a hero out of him. The whole thing.
Clay Travis
That's it. You make him a martyr. And if you make Don Lemon a martyr, then the best thing that could happen for him is to be charged with a crime. And look, I mean, the reality is, if Joe Biden were in office and he had charged you or me with a crime, it probably would have helped us. Did Steve. I know Steve Bannon had to actually go to prison, which would suck. And I give him credit for going to prison when nobody else gets charged for defying congressional subpoenas at all. Bill Clinton's not.
Buck Sexton
I think all that happened for, for Bannon was he got some, he got some cool prison tats and probably incred increased his audience by a couple hundred thousand people or something.
Clay Travis
I mean, you know, got a couple of teardrop tattoos. I give credit to Bannon for standing up, but I mean, in all seriousness, I think it Actually helped his credibility because that was such an illegitimate prosecution from a. The worst president that any of us have ever seen. My concern is Don Lemon. He's mostly irrelevant. We haven't mentioned him probably on the program in six months. And if he gets charged with a crime, he becomes a First Amendment hero. Even though he's a moron who I think likely did commit crimes, I just think he benefits in some way. Now, Walls, I think, should be charged. I think your point is it's hard to figure out how to charge him with something that he could be convicted by.
Buck Sexton
Well, what could he be charged with, though? Like what? Give me. Give me the. Give me the perspective charge. Usually it's things like when people say comey should be charged, or. Or, you know, Leticia James, they wanted to be charged with mortgage fraud. Which, by the way, I think the facts on this one are pretty clear. Comey, people want him charged under lying to Congress. People have been saying this about Foushee for a while.
Clay Travis
You know, that he. I'll give you one on walls. It's a great question. And by the way, if we have prosecutors out there, this is a. This is the question. It's easy to say, file charges. What is the actual charge? Based on the evidence that I've seen, Buck, I think you could potentially argue. And again, this is potentially. And they're doing subpoenas, maybe they get evidence to support this, that Tim Walls. And again, I think it's very hard to get a conviction. But let me make the case. Tim Walls did not stop Somali daycare fraud from occurring because the Somali daycare fraudsters were contributing money to his campaign with fraudulent dollars that they were receiving.
Buck Sexton
You would have to prove, as I know you know this, but you would have to prove his knowledge of not just the fraud, but the fraud money coming to him.
Clay Travis
Correct.
Buck Sexton
That is a super high bar. And he would have to be even dumber than I think he is to have left the evidentiary trail necessary for that. He would have to be. He would have to be Hunter Biden level reckless, and his daddy ain't the president.
Clay Travis
Well, and Hunter Biden level reckless barely got him charged with anything, which is a frustration in and of itself. So that would be one angle of the charges that could have occurred potentially, and I don't know what the funding mechanisms that has occurred for ice potentially. There is these anti ICE protests. The money's coming from somewhere. If it were proven that Tim Walls was funneling any of his campaign dollars to these anti ICE protesters, potentially you could bring charges There, that's a couple. And again, I'm not saying you could convict and you have to get the charges brought. I think a conviction is even more challenging than bringing charges. I'm, I, we, I guarantee you we have a lot of prosecutors out in the audience. What have you seen? And I, and I'm saying this to the prosecutors, 800-282-2882 that you think could represent a colorable claim against Tim Walls. I would be interested to see what they have said to your point. We told you, look, Letitia James, I think beyond a shadow of a doubt, charges should be brought against her. I think the Comey charges, I think those were legitimate as well. And what I'll say is some of you are going to say, I don't even care because they brought 34 felony counts against Trump for basically bookkeeping errors, and it was totally illegitimate in New York City, and they made him sit there for six months. And I still think that case is going to get tossed. But you nailed it, Buck. The, the, the, the punishment is the process. Right in. Regardless of whatever ends up happening. So even if you could get the headline of Walls charged with a felony, a lot of people out there saying, more power to you.
Buck Sexton
And people are going to say, well, what if we just charge Walls with some nonsense just to make a point? I mean, maybe, maybe that'll happen. I still think very low, very low probability. Because you also. Then, I mean, look what happened to Trump. Yeah. You just pointed out they charged him with 34 felonies, and now he's the.
Clay Travis
President because benefit are enough people knew by the charges.
Buck Sexton
Enough people knew. Look at the Mar A Lago raid. Oh, he's giving nuclear secrets away to the butler or whatever. No, not true. And now he's the president. So that stuff, you got to be careful with, weaponizing the law. There are still enough Americans that see that for what it is.
Clay Travis
I hope that's true. But no, no, I'm just, I'm sitting here thinking, could we make Tim Walls a liberal hero by charging him with a crime? Like, he's also.
Buck Sexton
Honestly, I think Fry is so much more odious than Walls is just a dumbass. Fry is actually cheering on and advocating for the destruction of civilization. You know what I mean?
Clay Travis
Yeah.
Buck Sexton
Just kind of a hapless. He's a hapless rube also.
Clay Travis
The problem with Fry getting charged, though, is it makes him a national political figure again. I think your analogy of Trump getting charged was the best thing that could have happened to him for his political career. My concern is sometimes when you over prosecute or aggressively read the statutes to prosecute, you actually elevate people who should not be national figures and a national figure dumb. But you could on the Sunday Hang with Clay and Buck podcast. Welcome back in Clay. Travis BUCK SEXTON show we are rolling into the third hour. Lots of news out there. Trump in Davos. We have talked quite a lot about that, the Greenland debate, but continuing now for a couple of weeks as a major story, everything that is surrounding Minneapolis. We talked to her a couple of weeks ago and at that point in time I was hopeful that she might be willing to put her foot forward and step into the race. Now she has done so. Former NFL sideline reporter Michelle Tafoya. She lives in Minnesota and she has thrown her hat into the ring to compete in the Republican Senate primary in Minnesota, to potentially run for the Senate in November in the state of Minnesota. So as we bring in Michelle Tafoya, congratulations. You have officially announced. We have shared your announcement video. What was the deciding factor and what should we know about your now announced campaign to bring a Republican voice of sanity to the state of Minnesota, A.
Michelle Tafoya
State that really needs some sanity. Guys, it's great to see you. Thanks for having me on. You know, when I talked to you a couple weeks ago, I was close to making this decision and I think just we are suffering a crisis here in Minnesota. We are at crisis levels, a crisis of leadership, a crisis of law enforcement, a crisis in the middle class. And it became very apparent to me that the career politicians are not coming to save us. And so I feel like the rest of us have to put our foot forward and do this and clean up this mess. Look, I've lived here over 30 years. I love it here. I've raised my kids here, my family, my husband and I have raised our kids here. And I remember the Minnesota that I'm sure you guys have visited, which is peaceful and, you know, safe streets, safe towns and great schools. But we've been in decline and it's hard to watch and it's sad to watch. And we've lost some people. They've moved out. And I've talked to fourth and fifth generation Minnesotans who don't want to move out and they want sanity and they want common sense, not the corruption that we've seen with all this fraud, not the craziness. And so that's why I'm running for Senate.
Buck Sexton
What has to happen for there are a lot of independents. And Michelle, thanks for being here. It's Buck, a lot of independents in your state and there's a big political independent street. Right. And so this is, I think, what can throw people sometimes because, okay, we got a lot of independents. What else would they have to see from Democrat governance of the state to start to consider themselves right leaning independents? I just wonder where they, if you could kind of frame or put in context the mindset of the Minnesota independent right now. How could you be in the middle when one side is screwing everything up?
Michelle Tafoya
Well, you know, I think we saw a significant marker of that when Tim Walls withdrew from the gubernatorial race. He saw the writing on the wall. He was not going to win. He was convinced to step down. So I don't know who the Democrats are going to put in the gubernatorial race, but I think what they're seeing is that a lot of Minnesotans are fed up and that they are ready for a change of some kind. Look, the political elites have been running this state and not running it well. And even our folks in Washington, Amy Klobuchar, Angie Craig, they have, they were supposed to be mining the store and they let things fall through the cracks. So this is widespread failure of leadership. And I think the Minnesotans that I talk to, they're seeing that, they get that Tim Wall's got it. And so I think we may be about to see a change. And I think that people are starting to, to wake up to it.
Clay Travis
A huge part, Buck mentioned of the independent voice in Minnesota is the kind of place that could elect Jesse Ventura. For people who remember this back in the day, and I was reading Michelle, and I'm sure you're going to see this a ton as you start to travel the state. What really Minnesota represents is there's a Minneapolis view for what the world should look like. And then there's a whole lot of other people all over the state of Minnesota in different communities who have a completely different view of what the world should look like. How do you manage that divergence between what I would say is rural red state Minnesota that overwhelmingly votes Republican, and Minneapolis, which overwhelmingly votes blue and drags the state very often in its direction? In other words, how do you get. Because you're going to have to get a bunch of them, some people in Minneapolis, to be able to see that they need to come to the side of sanity.
Michelle Tafoya
Sanity is the word there. Look, yes, I'm going to have to earn every single vote. And I know every candidate says that, but in this case it's absolutely true because we're fighting an uphill battle, right? So we have got to get turnout. We have got to get every Republican to the polls. And then, yeah, I'm going to talk to everyone. I am going to talk to every. Because I want to represent everyone. I don't like the division in this state, and I think ultimately people have much more in common. And that's been proven to me. I've got friends on the other side of the aisle who are pulling for me because they see this nonsense. They see the insanity, they see the fraud, they see law enforcement having their hands tied and they're tired of it. And the fraud really is making everyone pretty sick because that was billions and billions of dollars supposed to go to kids, right? And it said it went to these criminals. And I would urge Minnesotans of every stripe to look at their pay stubs and ask themselves about their taxes. What did it pay for? Are we filling potholes or are we buying lakeside property for, for these thieves? So I think, I think a lot of people are waking up to that and understanding that what they thought Tim Walls and Peggy Flanagan were is not who they are. And so there, I, I, I just, I believe that we have more in common across this state. Look, there are some votes I'm never going to get right? Just absolutely never. And you, you accept that going in, but that independent streak, I think, I think they're ready.
Buck Sexton
Do you have any. We're speaking to Michelle Tafoya. She's running for senate in Minnesota. And, you know, we're always heartened by the fact, Michelle, that we've got a great station in Minneapolis and we're heard across much of the state. I think pretty much, you know, certainly the greater Minneapolis metro area. So there are sane people in your state. And it was a pretty Close election the last time.
Podcast Sponsor Announcer
Right.
Buck Sexton
You're not trying to, you know, you're not trying to flip Massachusetts red or something there. Right. I mean, you've actually got a real shot here. It's a very close election in this last election, by the numbers, just for the presidency. But in terms of the fraud and cleaning things up, one of the concerns, as I can see it, is you got a Democrat governor, you got Democrat senators, you got a Democrat state attorney general, you know, you got a Democrat mayor in fry in the city of Minneapolis. Is this something that the Trump administration needs to dive into on a, on the federal side just so we can get some answers about what's going on?
Michelle Tafoya
Well, you know, I think that a lot of that has been done. We've had, you know, us lawyers here looking into it, and that's where a lot of it's been found. Absolutely. Because clearly the folks running the state aren't going to do it. So we need to. And a lot of these tax dollars, as I mentioned, weren't just Minnesotans. They were US Tax dollars that were being funneled to Minnesota to help with autism centers, to help with feeding kids, all of these things. So I think that everyone should be ticked. I don't think Minnesota is alone. I think we're going to see a lot more in other states. And I think that's going to have to come from Fed. The feds looking into this and saying, where is it? What is it? Can we claw any of it back and how do we stop it and how do we not let this happen again? You know, there need to be guardrails. There need to be serious guardrails. If the federal government is going to give your state money for a specific use, there need to be guardrails. And those clearly were not put up or they were clearly people just looked aside or they didn't ask the tough questions because it was politically incorrect to do so. So I don't think the Fed is going to care about or the federal government's going to care about political correctness.
Clay Travis
Michelle, you made millions of dollars working in sports. A lot of people know you from the sidelines.
Buck Sexton
Good for you, Michelle. I, like Clay says that with love.
Clay Travis
I'm not, I'm not tossing it out there. I'm not tossing it out there as an insult. You had a good job in sports. Some people are already saying, oh, she was a sideline reporter. What the heck does she know about politics? You might be surprised. Michelle, a lot of people don't always say nice things about me. I came from the world of sports. I actually.
Buck Sexton
I yell at them, though, Michelle. I don't let them get away with it.
Clay Travis
Go ahead. But I do think it speaks well for you because you had my point on. This is what many people would consider to be a dream job. You traveled. You got to stand on the sideline, watch amazing athletes play the most popular sport in America, the NFL. And as your career evolved, you eventually couldn't stay silent anymore. What would you say to critics who say, oh, she's just a dumb sports person. Why in the world is she going to be a politician? Because that out there, I've already seen it when I shared your video. People often say mean things about me in the same way. Right. So I'm familiar with it. But to me, it's actually a positive for you because you had a great job, but you couldn't stay quiet because of what you saw happening to the country. I imagine that's part of your answer. But how did you come from sports to here?
Michelle Tafoya
Look, 911 really changed me, guys. I know it changed lots of people in America, but look, I. My dad was kind of the son of legal immigrants, told me every day of my life how lucky I was to be born in this country. And I took that to heart. And so I always appreciated and was patriotic. I wasn't always conservative. I went to Cal Berkeley, but, you know, then I went to grad school and I got a master's in business from Southern California. And that sort of started my awakening about, like, taxes and finance and how things are done. Yes, I had my dream job. I got to cover the Olympics. I got to cover the NFL, the NBA, all kinds of college sports. It was phenomenal. I traveled a ton. But that doesn't mean that we don't read. It doesn't mean that we don't pay attention. It doesn't mean that we don't study. And I've done a lot of that at the same time that I've been doing this job for the last, you know, since 2022. And that super bowl was my last game.
Podcast Sponsor Announcer
That's.
Michelle Tafoya
I have just dove in. Dove in. I have dove. What is the right.
Clay Travis
I dived in, reminds dove in, by the way. But I'm not always the expert on grammar as everyone who listens.
Michelle Tafoya
And I did, and I did swimming at the Olympics. So I should really be better at that dove dive thing. But anyway, you get the idea. I have submersed myself. Submersed, immersed myself.
Clay Travis
Immersed and submerged yourself. You combine those two words, which should.
Michelle Tafoya
Be a Word I did that was kind of. I'm not going to go there.
Clay Travis
George Bush.
Michelle Tafoya
There we go. Because this is like my 100th interview today. But anyway, I have immersed myself in all of that stuff and in studying and reading and reading history. And look, you can be smart and wise about a lot of things and be a sports reporter. And one of the things my job taught me was how to ask questions, how to hold people to account for their answers. I dealt with owners, I dealt with GMs, I dealt with head coaches in good moods. And in bad, I dealt with players. Look, I adopted my daughter from Bogota, Colombia. We went through that whole legal process. I've been a lot of places. I know how good America is and how good it can be. So you, you know, if people want to label me, that's. That's up to them. I'm not going to play that game. I'll just have to go out and earn people's confidence.
Buck Sexton
Well, Michelle, when you win your Senate race, you have to come back on and go head to head with Clay with some football sports picks for us. Okay? Because I want to. Clayface is another pro in the commentary business. How he fares, I don't know.
Michelle Tafoya
When I just said I submersed, that doesn't make me a pro in the commentary business, does it? Or Dove dived.
Buck Sexton
Oh, no, it definitely does. We make all kinds of. We have all kinds of kerfuffles here on this show.
Clay Travis
Oh, I screw up everything when it comes to speech.
Michelle Tafoya
What's the reaction, Kerfuffle Land?
Clay Travis
What's the reaction been from the sports media universe to your decision personally on your phone? I'm not asking you to tell you who said, like, yes, I'm proud of you, or things like that, positive or negative, that you've decided to run in your own personal network of sports universe.
Michelle Tafoya
You know, I think it's been largely, amazingly positive. And I won't name names, but some of them might surprise you. So it's been fun. It's the first day, so I'm sure I'm going to continue to hear from a lot of people, but I think we're. I feel the support. I love that because they know me. These are friends of mine. These are people I've debated with, and they know me, and they know what I bring to this. And what I won't do is lie. What I won't do is sacrifice my integrity. So I think, you know, look, that's the trust I have to build. But I feel good about where I am and I wouldn't be doing this if I didn't think we could win.
Clay Travis
Amen. She's Michelle Tafoya if people are interested in your campaign, Michelle, where should they go?
Michelle Tafoya
Michelle Tafoya.com Michelle Tafoya this is going to be a tough slog, guys. It's going to be an uphill battle and so we need all the help we can get. So if anyone wants to chip in or volunteer or whatever, we'd love to have you on board because it's going to take, it's going to take a lot of work.
Clay Travis
Amen. We're looking forward to hearing how the campaign goes. I'm sure we'll have you on quite a lot. And congrats on the official launch, guys.
Michelle Tafoya
It's great to see you. Thanks so much for having me. I appreciate it.
Buck Sexton
She has really good media presence. She should think about a media career.
Clay Travis
Actually does a good job talking. Thanks to Michelle. She's gonna, I think, look, of all the states out there, Minnesota I think has become the craziest. And the only way I think you can punch back against crazy is Republicans have to show up and they have to persuade. But Republicans have to also show up in big numbers. And I want to see. It's an open Senate seat, there's no incumbent. It's a relatively fair fight. We'll see what happens. Look, we got some crazy winter weather heading to Nashville. Thankfully we have Rapid radios. I didn't know we even had a generator. We were just talking about this. Cause it might get so wild that maybe we're going to get a couple of feet of snow. And in Nashville, if you get a couple of inches of snow, the whole city falls apart. Much of the south knows exactly what I'm talking about. And maybe you're going to want to have an ability to stay in touch with your family as this winter storm sweeps across the whole nation. Lots of places that do not usually get a great deal of snow and it's certainly not a great deal of ice, man. I have my fingers crossed that there's not going to be a huge awful ice storm component to this. But unfortunately it looks like there is. You know what happens Back in 1993, Buck, we had an awful ice storm. All the trees started falling. We didn't have power for over a week. In my house we slept in the, in the front beside the old Buck stove. If you want something that's going to be able for you to be able to use Rapid Radio's five day charge five days, you get them charged up right now. They will last for five days without needing to be charged. Do you have something in the event that we get hit with this awful winter storm and maybe your section of the country gets ice and the power comes down and you don't have the ability to get in touch with anybody? Rapid Radios will still work. Go check them out right now. We've got them. We're already charged up for potentially this winter storm coming in. Rapidradios.com 60% off right now. They'll ship them to you quickly. Over 15,000 five star reviews nationwide. The storm is coming. It's a great time to get Rapid Radios in your life. Rapidradios.com we're ready. Are you rapidradios.com you know them as conservative radio hosts.

Welcome back in Clay Travis Buck Sexton show just posted from President Trump. I will read it directly for all of you from Davos. Based upon a very productive meeting that I have had with the Secretary General of NATO, Mark Root, we have formed the framework of a future deal with respect to Greenland and in fact the entire Arctic region. This solution, if consummated, will be a great one for the United States of America and all NATO nations. Based upon this understanding, I will not be imposing the tariffs that were scheduled to go into effect on February 1st. Additional discussions are being held concerning the Golden Dome as it pertains to Greenland. Further information will be made available as discussions Progress. Vice President J.D. vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and various others as needed will be responsible for the negotiations. They will report directly to me. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Yesterday Buck, the stock market sold off as people got nervous about potentially there being conflict here, maybe even boots on the ground attacks. Stock market is soaring and basically erasing all of yesterday's sell off as I speak to all of you. And we are rapidly approaching yet another all time record high in the stock market now. So that is out there Buck, what exactly that looks like? Of course the devil is in the details. If we as we have been talking about quite a lot, we got a.
Buck Sexton
Whole lot of talkbacks of people that want to go full Linda with the legal system, throw them Away, lock, lock them up, throw away the key. They're not. They don't want to hear any nuance, any. Any tactics. They're just like, enough is enough. So let's, let's make. Do you want to make our way through some of these, by the way? Let's start on the Trump Greenland thing. Yes, Grain of salt. Let's see.
Clay Travis
I hope he's right.
Buck Sexton
But, you know, the beginning of a framework for a future deal. I know Trump well enough to know that could mean a lot of things.
Clay Travis
Totally. And I would just say, in general, the people who panic every time. I mean, we've been dealing with Trump now as a person of political influence for over a decade. The degree to which left wingers panic and immediately lose their minds anytime Trump does anything, you would think it would change. But Richard in Savannah, Georgia. Richard, fire away.
Caller Richard
Yeah. Good afternoon, gentlemen. Enjoy your show. Been listening to you since they took over from Rush. You guys make me laugh out loud and sometimes make me just want to scream. Anyway, I agree with what you just said about Greenland about Trump, but why I'm really calling, though, is about earlier. I've been listening to you guys about the DOJ bringing indictments and how it's just a farce and it won't work and it's just a joke. Well, you know, that being said, the American people voted for the dog and for Trump to bring these people to justice, bring them to court. The American people want true justice in the American way, just like Superman. That's what we want. And I don't care what happens. The Democrats lost. They are the minority. And all these nuts that are in Minnesota are the same way. We should have to worry about what they're not.
Clay Travis
We're not in disagreement. Sorry to cut you off. We're not in disagreement with any of that. But the question becomes, Richard, are you married?
Caller Richard
Yes, I am.
Clay Travis
Okay. Before you were married, were you interested in potentially dating a supermodel? My bet is yes. I'm not going to get you in trouble, not going to get you in trouble with your wife. But I bet most of the men out there listening to us right now, before you were married, you might have been interested potentially, maybe an interesting.
Buck Sexton
Open to the idea. I think is open to the idea of a supermodel if she should cross his path.
Clay Travis
Okay. And at some point in time, if you were going to take the next step and actually date a supermodel, you would need to have a plan in order to do so. What we are saying here. Thank you for the call Richard, and good luck with the supermodel, by the way.
Buck Sexton
I have no idea where you're going with this supermodel thing, so I'm curious.
Clay Travis
To see how you stick. The land analogy is a good one. You can conceptually be in favor of something that would be fantastic for you and hopefully the country as well. But until you have a plan in order to put that in motion, there is not actually a tangible reality of it happening. What we have stepped beyond is, yes, there should be consequences for people who break the law. But the question Buck asked, which is a good one, is the important one. What are the charges that can be brought? What is the tangible crime that has been committed?
Buck Sexton
And we open, we have some people that are writing and saying, I disagree with you guys. I think Letitia James should be. We've said Letitia James should be like, you don't disagree? I'm saying there is a crime that she is alleged to have committed. She should not escape those, you know, those consequences because of political considerations. We no longer do that. We shouldn't do that. I'm saying she should be prosecuted. You're saying she should be prosecuted? I think that people who lie under oath should be prosecuted. If Comey lied under oath, he should be prosecuted. The only place where there seems to be some disagreement is I'm saying if for some reason people want Tim Walsh to be charged, I need to know for what.
Clay Travis
Yes.
Buck Sexton
And you and people who are saying, if you don't have an answer, it doesn't matter. I say that's not a good idea. You have to have a. For what?
Clay Travis
Also important in a significant way. Tim Walls doesn't really have any assets. So I don't believe. Team, correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think Tim. Tim Walls even owns a home. So there are lots of politicians. We can name a lot of them. Elon's tap dancing shoes. But yes, yes, but that get into office and then become super wealthy. Tim Walls doesn't even own a home. So charging him with a crime where he benefited financially is going to be hard to do because the dude has no assets. Which is why I laid out potentially the money. Campaign donations might be a way, if you look into it.
Buck Sexton
I also think I. I have not seen anything, and you can call me old fashioned, but I have not seen anything to suggest that Tim Walsh has himself committed a crime. And I really mean this. Being a moron, which he clearly is guilty of, is not a criminal offense. So I don't know why.
Clay Travis
There's a lot of politicians in jail if being a moron was a criminal offense.
Buck Sexton
And before I get. Because I, you know, we see some of the headlines on some of the calls and the talkbacks. We get here before anyone else comes on. The Somali fraudsters, of course, should be prosecuted and should go to prison.
Clay Travis
Zero.
Buck Sexton
There's zero disagreement with anybody who's calling in about that. Of course they should because they committed a crime. But I just think people are in this, like, we just got to destroy the other side mindset. When I would say there are two problems with that. One, one, I'm not sure it works as well as some people think it will. That's to the point about, ok, what's the crime? And two, is that really what we want now we're just gonna have completely preposterous crime like this is. This is why people keep saying it's the Trump thing is not similar. Well, no, the Trump thing, the political blowback of. And maybe the 24, the 34 felony counts in New York isn't even the best example. The Mar A Lago raid they thought would destroy Trump politically and it completely backfired in their faces.
Clay Travis
Yes.
Buck Sexton
So what I'm saying is if you just do something that normal people can recognize is an abuse of the law for political reasons, it can backfire on you. And this is why bringing a charge against Tim Wallace that we don't even know what the charge. I don't know where's this idea that Tim Wallace is going to be charged for what I keep saying 44 chance.
Clay Travis
On the, on the market. I think the best case for Tim Walls being charged is the one that I laid out. And I think it's a hard case to get a conviction on, but I laid it out. Michael in Atlanta, you say you want Mayor Fry in Minneapolis charged with a crime. What is the crime specifically?
Caller Richard
Hi, guys. Well, I want to agree with you and also disagree with you at the same time. And, and I'm going to agree with you that there has to be a crime. But where I'm going to go disagree with you is you were comparing earlier in your show. You're comparing Fry with Trump and you can't compare the two because Trump really is the exception that disproves the rule. What I mean is, you guys go back in time. In the 80s, Trump was a rock star, bigger than most rock stars. His life was completely different. He gets into politics and he changes to a Republican. And what we saw is the Democrats basically wanted to sabotage him really for who he was. Now Fry Is nobody. He's a mayor of Minneapolis. Almost like Mayor Pete being of, you know, South Bend. What I'm saying is he's not gonna, his profile is not gonna be elevated because he's indicted.
Clay Travis
Oh, I think, I think I understand. I totally wrong on that. That'll be a major national story. But the bigger question is his profile is massively elevated if he's charged with the crime. What crime have you seen that you think he should be charged with?
Caller Richard
Well, I think obviously that's a question for Pam Bondi, but that's where a lot of people are getting frustrated because.
Clay Travis
She'S all, okay, okay, but I, but thank you for the call.
Buck Sexton
There's something, there's something else here, Clay. We saw with the comparison with, with Trump. And by the way, we wanted to let the gentleman, first of all, we appreciate him calling in. And by the way, I like this, this is like what we, this is what is in my family, man. You should hear, you should hear how my mom speaks to me. If I'm being critical of Trump, I get, I get, I get the law laid down on me. She's like, how dare you? Look what he's done. I'm like, well, I just don't like this one thing. So even among family, you're going to have some disagreements. I would just say this, Clay, the point about the comparison to Trump that I was making isn't these are similar guys or similar situations. It's just proving the point that just bringing a charge in a political realm, forget about everything else, can backfire politically in a huge way. And that's why I think bringing a specious charge against Walsh or Frey, it's also immoral. I know, I guess ethics, no one cares about anymore. But bringing a speech, a clearly preposterous charge, just to do it is a bad idea.
Clay Travis
Here is one that I could give you for Fry, like, yes, I appreciate the call. What I am saying is we're taking the conversation below, above banal generalities, charge them with crimes. And I'm saying, okay, what is this specific charge? I think you could potentially, and I look, go back and listen to the show.
Buck Sexton
You like to say that word that way. I think you're technically allowed to, but I prefer banal.
Clay Travis
But anyway, you like to go anal process based crimes. I think with the grand jury subpoenas, they're potentially setting the table for process based charges when there isn't a agreement to share documents that would be potentially obstruction related. With the mayor of Minneapolis in particular, I think Buck, he may have given instructions to Minneapolis police, as the mayor of the city, to not comply with the instructions of the ICE agents in Minneapolis, which could set up a scenario where he is obstructing ICE from being able to do their job, and they could potentially charge him with crimes there. The whole sanctuary city element in general, which I think it doesn't get talked about enough, it's flagrantly unconstitutional. A city cannot, as a matter of supremacy law, refuse to comply with federal law. Well, the picture charge, that could apply across the board.
Buck Sexton
Just one thing here. You know, Lindsey Halligan, you're not hearing a lot about her these days, and you're definitely not going to hear her referred to as a U.S. attorney, because now another judge has said, you are not a lawfully appointed U.S. attorney and you cannot even use the title, and end of story. They mess this thing up.
Donald Trump
It's very.
Buck Sexton
The statute is very clear. You have to be appointed within a certain time or else it reverts to. I think federal judge in that district makes the. Makes the. This is black letter law. And the DOJ just said, no, we think we have the right to do this. The DOJ is wrong. And now they just lost. And by the way, you might not care about this, but she's the one who brought the charge against Comey. And because they lost in the. Because they lost with her on this.
Clay Travis
And Letitia, she got them both indicted. The reason those indictments don't stand for Lindsey Halligan. Exactly right. All the flaw of the indictment, it's that they said she didn't have the right to bring it. The indictment itself was fine. It's the person who brought it because.
Buck Sexton
She'S not a lawfully appointed U.S. attorney. And guess what? She's not. She's just not. I mean, I. I hate to say it. I think she. And I love what she did with the. Because I think those two should be prosecuted. But this is my point, Clay. You have to do things in a way that's, as Linda would say, smart. You got to be smart. You know, if you're going to waste them, you got to be smart. That's. That's my. That's my take on it. What are you looking. You're looking at, like, something.
Clay Travis
I've got my whole sheet I want to go to break, but we've got a bunch of callers. I was just looking to see where the call.

Daily Review with Clay and Buck – January 21, 2026
iHeartPodcasts
This episode focuses on the latest global and national political headlines, with sharp attention to President Trump’s visit to the Davos economic forum, negotiations on Greenland, ongoing controversy over law enforcement and fraud in Minnesota, and the announcement of sports broadcaster Michelle Tafoya’s Senate candidacy. Clay Travis and Buck Sexton, with their signature blend of humor and political commentary, dissect the implications of Trump's Greenland ambitions, legal controversies surrounding Democrat leaders in Minnesota, and the shift in Minnesota politics.
Trump's Davos Agenda: President Trump’s overnight flight to Davos, Switzerland, sets the scene as he addresses major issues including Greenland. Clay notes the president’s relentless travel and energy, emphasizing his global stage performance.
Greenland Negotiations – History and Hysteria:
The media’s panic over rumors of the potential U.S. seizure of Greenland is lampooned, with Trump’s own words used to dispel the idea:
Historical Parallels and Strategies:
Clay draws a line from the U.S. Virgin Islands purchase to modern Greenland talks, highlighting how power dynamics shape territorial negotiations.
Alternative Models – Compact of Free Association:
Buck references U.S. arrangements with Pacific islands (like Micronesia), proposing such models (military rights/defense guarantees, economic aid) could apply to Greenland short of outright annexation. (09:48)
Mineral Interests in Greenland:
Clay argues Trump’s interest is likely twofold — military/strategic, and secondly, access to mineral wealth for future U.S. profit. (10:15)
“We saved Greenland and successfully prevented our enemies from gaining a foothold in our hemisphere ... After the war ... we gave Greenland back to Denmark. How stupid were we to do that? ... But how ungrateful are they now?”
— Donald Trump (11:51)
Trump on Minneapolis:
Trump, in a NewsNation interview with Katie Pavlich, criticizes Minnesota leadership — specifically Governor Tim Walz and Rep. Ilhan Omar — for corruption, crime, and sanctuary policies.
ICE & Sanctuary Cities:
Buck explains that Minnesota’s sanctuary policies force ICE to make arrests in the streets, instead of jails, because local officials won’t cooperate by turning over suspects — a fact, he argues, often ignored by Democrats. (22:03)
Minnesota Fraud – Calls for Prosecution:
Clay and Buck discuss recent subpoenas for Minnesota officials in connection with large-scale fraud (notably in daycare and Somali community funding). Both express skepticism about whether high-level prosecutions (of Walz, Mayor Fry, Ellison) will materialize, pointing to political realities and evidentiary challenges.
Debate on Politicized Charges:
Buck and Clay debate whether bringing aggressive/legalistically creative charges (as done with Trump) is wise or would backfire, making leftwing figures into martyrs.
“He’s a hapless rube ... The problem with Fry getting charged, though, is it makes him a national political figure again ... sometimes when you over prosecute ... you actually elevate people who should not be national figures.”
— Clay Travis (35:07)
Tafoya’s Reasons for Running:
The former NFL sideline reporter discusses her motivation — driven by frustration over Minnesota’s decline, the exodus of long-time residents, and failures by career politicians.
Minnesota’s Political Geography:
Clay raises the “two Minnesotas” dynamic: one progressive/urban (Minneapolis) and the rest rural/red. Tafoya responds that she intends to talk to everyone and argues for common sense and unity across party lines. (41:26)
Fraud and Federal Oversight:
Tafoya shares concerns about billions lost to fraud, affecting both local and federal taxpayers, and the need for federal guardrails for state spending. (43:51)
Sports-to-Politics Transition:
Clay and Buck tease Michelle about media criticism of her career switch. Tafoya details her path from sports media to political activism, shaped especially by 9/11 and her personal history as a child of immigrants.
“There's real, apparently real concern, as it was reported among the assembled, that Trump is just going to be like, ‘It's mine. I'm taking it.’”
— Buck Sexton (07:21)
“I think Trump wants, you know, free and clear title of Greenland and the ability to develop its resources for the next hundreds of years for the United States. I think he’s going to get it.”
— Clay Travis (13:44)
“The punishment is the process ... Just bringing a charge in a political realm, forget about everything else, can backfire politically in a huge way.”
— Buck Sexton (34:11)
“You can be smart and wise about a lot of things and be a sports reporter ... what my job taught me was how to ask questions, how to hold people to account for their answers.”
— Michelle Tafoya (46:22)
“Being a moron, which [Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz] clearly is guilty of, is not a criminal offense.”
— Buck Sexton (62:41)
