Welcome in Wednesday Edition Clay Travis Buck Sexton Show. Appreciate all of you hanging out with us. Oh my goodness. Maybe real panic in the Biden world as the proverbial crap may have hit the fan here. And I do think this is a really big story that has just happened this morning that we are going to dive into and explain what exactly is going on here. As if you don't already know. Joe Biden's doctor, his personal physician, his White House chief health official for his own Personal ability and health was called before Congress. They're doing an investigation into Joe Biden's mental and physical faculties and what now is increasingly looking more and more like a cover up. And this is a big deal. And I, I'm curious how much attention it's going to get, but I think it should get a massive amount of attention. And I want to read from James Comer, who is heading up this committee. And we have an invite out to Representative Comer to come on the program and talk about this. This is what he tweeted. President Joe Biden's physician, Dr. Kevin O', Connor, just pled the fifth at his deposition before Congress today. It's now clear there was a conspiracy to cover up President Biden's cognitive decline after Dr. Kevin O', Connor, Biden's physician and family business associate, refused to answer any questions and chose to hide behind the Fifth Amendment. The American people demand transparency, but Dr. O' Connor would rather conceal the truth. Dr. O' Connor took the Fifth when asked if he was told to lie about President Biden's health and whether he was fit to be President of the United States. Congress must assess legislative solutions to prevent such a cover up from happening again. We will continue to interview more Biden White House aides to get the answers Americans deserve. Okay, let me, let me tell you what stands out to me in a very significant way here. And this is me, if I were giving legal advice. You take the Fifth when you are afraid that it is going to be proven that you have lied, you lie. I'm just saying this is how it really works. You lie. Which is what I expected Biden's physician to do. When you think you can get away with the lie and there is no one that is going to be able to hold you accountable for it. Now, I'm not saying people are like, oh, you should never lie. I understand. Ok.
Buck Sexton
In general, Clay is not. Just to be clear, okay? As consiglieri, he's not suborning perjury. He's not telling anybody to try to game the system. He's just saying, strategically, this is how. This is what people do.
Clay Travis
This is how this works. If you think you can get away with a lie in this situation, if they say, hey, what did you think about Joe Biden? Then you just say, hey, you know, he was 100% healthy. And, and, or if you actually believe it to be fair, because you could just say, well, he was 100% healthy. There was never any issues at all. And, and I was thoroughly confident that he could do the job. Here's what I think is going on, Buck. I think one of two things is about to happen and it's going to become a five alarm fire inside of the Biden health cover up. One, there is somebody who's going to flip and they may be working on this right now and they may have somebody inside of the Biden team that is on the verge of flipping and just be in the canary and singing like crazy about all of the conspiracy that actually took place. What he or she saw, what actually took place, what we all know was occurring. It may be about to become public in a way that makes people say, oh my goodness. Two, there may be documents associated with Joe Biden's health that prove, I know that they had the cancer diagnosis and we all discussed what that might represent. But there may be documents health related that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that any physician knew that Biden was not mentally and physically capable to be president of the United States. And so it could be both. I think that this investigation is jostling a lot of people. And I think his counsel said, because previously, you remember what he said publicly is Joe Biden was Halen Hardy. He had the job to be. He could be president for another 20 years. You know, all these lies that we know are lies. That's what he said publicly. But as soon as he has to raise that right hand, why would he take the Fifth? He is afraid maybe he's even negotiating to potentially be a, a witness in this larger criminal inquiry. I think this is, this is accelerating and this is the signs of what's going on.
Buck Sexton
Let's take a step back here at what this really means, Clay. The cleanup on aisle Biden is possibly going to create even more problems because remember, and this was the whole Tapper book and the whole, oh, we didn't know. We didn't know. And they're hoping that that now becomes the story. And we've sat here the whole time saying, the commander in chief, the most powerful person in the world for four years, obviously had dementia. They were hiding it and, and they knew it. And they have finally come out and said, you know what, you were right, guys. Now that they lost the election, now that Kamala's political future is done, by the way, done, people are saying Kamala's going to run. No chance. Now that that's all the case, they're willing to say we missed this. No, they didn't miss it. And they were hoping to create that narrative because you can move on from that I don't think you can move on. And people are saying, why are you guys still talking about this? Are you kidding me? It matters hugely, hugely if the people running the government, the actual individuals who in some cases maybe were even signing bills and doing things in Biden's name without his knowledge, were conspiring, and that's an important word here, conspiring to hide that fact from the American people. Let's keep in mind, Clay, some of the charges that they were trying to bring against Trump with regard to the 2020 election had to do with deprivation of civil rights. Remember how creative they were. Because if you were depriving people of a fair election, you were depriving them of a. Now, put up, put aside whether you think that that's a little too much legal hocus pocus. Look at what it would mean if Biden's doctor and people around now, the doctor can say, I had no, I had a legal obligation. And he does, to keep it private. Like, he couldn't go forward with that. But I think the doctor knows that there are other people who knew, like maybe the top White House advisers who knew, and they chose. They chose the conspiracy of silence.
Clay Travis
Yeah. And also, this is where it gets interesting. You can argue, hey, my patient's private health is not for public discussion. He's entitled to that. His family might be entitled to that. Here's the problem. A lot of people had access to the reports that he was writing, and I think what likely was occurring was top Biden officials. This is why I read and have finished Original Sin. There was a cadre, the Politburo, as it were, about five top advisers for Biden, shielded him from everyone else.
Buck Sexton
And.
Clay Travis
And I think that group was sitting down with the doctor and saying, here's what we're going to say publicly. I think this was a conspiracy. I think it was criminal. And I think there is starting to be fear that there may be criminal charges brought against this. And here's what I would say, and I've said this before on the program, but I would echo it now because I think it's even truer, because I was stunned that he didn't just try to lie his way through it. Candidly this morning when I woke up and I saw this news coming down, I think there should be public primetime hearings about this in the same way that they did Jan6, because there's a precedent on this in August when there's not very much on television. Do these make abc, NBC, cbs, cnn, msnbc, cover this as a part of Their broadcast license obligations and the precedent they set on January 6, bring every one of these top advisors in front of Congress and grill them under oath.
Buck Sexton
Now, you could say, Clay, there are two. I agree. I think that's, I think that's absolutely the move. There are two ways to look at this or look at why this should happen. One is, and we'll start with it, it's the ethical right thing to do. The American people have a right to know. And that if this was done, we need this to be out there because we are a republic and we are a political entity where the knowledge of the population matters for the leadership and the future of it. Okay, and now maybe that sounds a too much like I'm giving a, you know, third grade civic speech for some people. Ok, fine. You know, they. Well, I want to talk about, you know, Epstein or I want to talk about something else. Okay, but hold on a second. Remember what happened to the midterms to your point? They ran all these hearings. Now, I know there were different reasons for it, but defense of democracy was seen as a primary reason in the key races that things just went against Republicans. You know, if you looked at the data. Defense of democracy, they say it like that, Clay. I think going into the Trump midterms here, when there's a little bit of an expectation, oh no, they might take back the House and then they'll stymie everything. Hold on a second. Let's let all of the American people know that the Democrat Party at the very top level that had been lecturing us about our sacred democracy and our wonderful institutions that Trump was trampling on, let's let them know that they were hiding a vegetable president from the American public. And at the, in the White House day in and day out, and they were making decisions and they were signing bills and they were making decisions about life and death with operations abroad and covert actions and, and pardons and all of this with a vegetable sputtering around the White House. I think people should know the full details politically, that could have a real impact if you don't care about the ethics of it.
Clay Travis
Yeah. And also I think the precedent that it sets in the years ahead, I think if you shame these individuals who covered up Joe Biden and potentially criminally charged them and embarrassed them publicly, I think there may be in the back of the mind of advisors going forward, I don't work for this president. I work for the American people. And that distinction sometimes can be difficult. But everyone who covered up for Joe Biden wasn't working for The American public. They were working for Joe Biden. And worst of all, they were working for themselves in original sin. There's a good line, Buck. I haven't heard it before, and I'm paraphrasing it here, but one of the quotes is, no one quits when it's the first line of their obituary. No one quits a job. That's the first line of their obituary. Because they just kept saying, why were all these guys and gals surrounding Biden, protecting him? Because this was the apex of their career, too. It wasn't just that Joe Biden was president. It was that they were chief of staff or chief of politics. Their connection to his power was paramount. And no one quits. Think about that line. It's a really good line. I hadn't heard it before. No one quits the job. That's the first line of their resume. And I may not be synthesizing it perfectly, but that basically is the idea. And I think that's what we saw with Biden and I again, no one take. Let me say this. No one takes the Fifth who isn't concerned about what's coming next. You always take the Fifth as a prelude to something else that isn't public yet that you're afraid is coming down the tracks after you.
Buck Sexton
Well, it's one of the funniest things. You could run this. You could run this tape all day with these different Democrats now are going to say, in this case, Clay, pleading the Fifth means nothing. Not an admission of guilt when it's a Republican, when it's Trump. Anybody around Trump who wanted to plead the Fifth, of course it's an admission of guilt. So there's no real principle that they apply to this at all.
Clay Travis
I will also point this out. This is what we talked about a lot with Trump. They're simultaneously the legal and the political. And something can be very smart legally and awful politically. And Trump, I thought was. Was a masterclass on how to balance out the legal and political, because they tried to put him in prison and bankrupt him. And that was basically the undercurrent of his Entire campaign in 2024. And he did a lot of things that lawyers would say, I prefer you not do that here. This could be smart legally and devastating politically.
Buck Sexton
Did we talk on the air? Because this is one of the most interesting things you said to me off the air about what's in the book that you've read, which now, whatever. Clay's going to give me his copy, so I'm not going to give any money yes. Next time we see.
Clay Travis
I read the original sin book over July 4th on the beach. I finished it. Yes.
Buck Sexton
So. So he's going to give me his copy. I'm not going to give them any money. But Clay, did we talk about how Biden felt about the prospect of Trump going to prison on the show yet? I can't remember if we did.
Clay Travis
I can't remember if we said that on or off air. Conversations continue yeah, dive into that. Yeah, let's.
Buck Sexton
Let's get into that in a moment because I also think that is really important for everyone to know, especially given the now revelations about what looks more like a conspiracy instead of the Democrats are just so dumb they can't tell when someone has, you know, brain problems. We should dive into that a little bit.
Clay Travis
Yeah, no doubt. And if you're worried about conspiracies after you're gone, maybe you need to get a will, maybe you need a trust. We had an unexpected death in my family to last year that we are still dealing with and it can be. My stepfather in law died. It was awful. And it's the first time I've had to deal with the challenges of trying to grapple with wills, trust and everything else. And I've got a legal background and it's so complicated and I tried and have done my best already to have my own will and trust. I'm 46. I'm not hopefully close to being gone, but I'm concerned already. Literally just had a conversation this morning about how complicated so many different parts of estates can be. Even if you do your absolute best and God forbid you have an unexpected death and you haven't done anything at all about it, you spend. I spend. Most of us spend a huge part of our life trying to make sure that for the people that come after us, our kids, our grandkids, that things are better and easier for them than they were for us. Have you thought about what will happen when you pass? I've got a will and trust. Buck's got a will and trust. We're both relatively young guys. Only 30% of people have actually gone through the process and of taking care of what might happen when we are all gone. Go to trust and willcom. Make it. It's simple, it's affordable and the result can give you peace of mind. Surviving family members will have clarity in the future about what you want and hopefully will not end up in a situation where they're arguing, fighting, where there's a discord in your family because of the uncertainty about what you wanted when you passed Website is Easy Trust and Willcom Experts in creating personalized trust and wills that protect your legacy. Buck Sexton
Clay, have you heard of the Rio Reset?
Clay Travis
Sounds like a trendy new workout, Buck.
Buck Sexton
It does, but it's actually a big summit going on in Brazil. The formal name is brics, which stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. But they've just added five new members.
Clay Travis
Smart move to stick with brics. We know what happens when acronyms don't end. They confuse everyone.
Buck Sexton
Well, that's an understatement. BRICS is a group of emerging economies hoping to increase their sway in the global financial order.
Clay Travis
Now that sounds like the plotline of a movie. I'm listening.
Buck Sexton
Philip Patrick is our Bruce Wayne. He's a precious metal specialist and a spokesman for the Birch Gold Group. He's on the ground in Rio getting the whole lowdown on what's going on there.
Clay Travis
Can he give us some inside intel?
Buck Sexton
Absolutely. He's been there since day one. In fact, a major theme at the summit is how BRICS nations aimed to reduce reliance on the US dollar in global trade.
Clay Travis
Yikes. That doesn't sound good. We gotta get Philip on the line, stat.
Buck Sexton
Already did. And he left the Clay and Buck audience there. This message. The world is moving on from the dollar. Quietly but steadily. These nations are making real progress towards reshaping global trade, and the US Dollar.
J.R. Martinez
Is no longer the centerpiece.
Buck Sexton
That shift doesn't happen overnight, but make.
Clay Travis
No mistake, it's already begun.
Buck Sexton

You can rely on Birch Gold Group as I do, to give you the information you need to make an informed decision. One more time, text my name. Buck to 98. 98. 98. Over the 4th of July weekend this happened, 10 have been charged with attempted murder after shooting at an ICE detention center center. And I want to give you some of the details of this. This was the update as of yesterday, but on the 4th of July. Now look, I, this part of the reason I think this didn't get more attention is completely understandable in a news cycle sense that the tragedy in Texas and we still, I even have a hard time talking about that off air to friends and family just in terms of, you know, the updates. It's, it's such a, it's such a gut punch. It's so horrible what happened and it's just terribly sad, terribly sad situation. And our hearts really truly do go out to the families of those affected and to those communities in Texas that have been hit. You know, you know, we love Texas on this show. We have so many of you who are Texans and it just has a special place in our heart and we're thinking about all of you. So that's, that, that's part of why I think this story is almost on this, this other story I'm about to talk to you about almost unknown to a lot of people. And then there's the political aspect of it, which is I think they don't want this story to get a lot of attention. And here's what happened. You've got 10 people who have been arrested for this already. And 11th is expected to face separate charges. People were at a Prairieland detention center in Alvarado, Texas and they had vandalized ICE vehicles who that were parked there. This is 28 miles to the south of Fort Worth in Texas and there were all these demonstrations that were happening. And now remember, the left has decided, I think Clay right now, they've moved on a little bit from Free Palestine stuff, whatever that means to the ICE thing is now the new, this is the, the thing, this is the current thing for left wing maniacs who, you know, want to act out and break the law and push for anarchy and chaos. So there were these, these demonstrations, protests going on. But while this was happening, these 10 people, well, got into it with some ICE officers. And then this was on Friday at 10:37pm 10 to 12 people shot fireworks at the detention center. Think about this. You're shooting fireworks at peace officers, at Immigration and Customs Enforcement, federal agents. And then one of the two people separated from the group and wrote graffiti, ICE pig and traitor on the car. Now, ice pig I believe means kill the police. Just putting that out there. So they're writing on the, on the car on the ice, you know, Immigration Customs Enforcement vehicles. And then traitor, of course, we all know what that's about. A officer from the Alvarado Police Department arrived at the detention center parking lot. He got out of the vehicle, A person in the woods opened fire with an AR15, shot this officer in the neck. A detective from the Johnson County Sheriff's Office who was heading the detention center pulled over a van that had fled the scene. The driver, identified as Megan Morris, told police officers of meeting people online and bringing them to, quote, make some noise. Inside the van were two AR15 rifles, two Kevlar ballistic style vests and a ballistic helmet. Clay, this group of left wing maniacs showed up to assault with, with semiautomatic rifles an immigration enforcement facility and ended up shooting a law enforcement officer in the neck. And this is a, this is terrorism. This is a big deal.
Clay Travis
It's a huge story. It's a huge story. And I think you're right that because it happened in Texas in the midst of the flooding and over July 4th weekend, it hasn't gotten the attention that it otherwise would. I think that's even true on Fox News and the Wall Street Journal and the New York Post and places that you would assume would cover this. I think a lot of distraction has rightly occurred because of the far more significant loss of life in Texas and what happened there. That story in conjunction with July 4th, this is one, though, that I do believe is incredibly important to focus on because what it represents, what we Talked about, the Jan6 Democrats were able to create what I think is a fundamental lie in the larger marketplace of ideas. And they were able to cede it and they were able to argue it. And many of their supporters believe it, which is Trump supporters are uniquely dangerous and violent. And therefore we must have them underneath the microscope of the security apparatus. And when you did that, you could then remember the Gretchen Whitmer kidnapping. There were a lot of stories that they were able to feed and we talked about this on the program. When you tell FBI agents, hey, this is our focus. We need you to find people doing these crimes and then you know the media is going to cover it when you, when you find it. They created the idea that Trump supporters were uniquely dangerous. It isn't true. I think in fact, most violence that's happening of a political nature in the last four or five years has actually been left wing led and this is representative of that.
Buck Sexton
Well, what happened to the, the DHS and these other agency bulletins that were, that were suddenly coming out under the Biden administration, but the threat of white nationalism. And we have to be so concerned about the white nationalist terrorists. And we're sitting around and we used to say this on the show.
Clay Travis
Biden said the number one threat to America was white supremacy. Joe Biden, yes, that's what he said.
Buck Sexton
And I still to this day, I have met jihadists and I have seen what they are capable of. I've never met a white supremacist. And I live in America. I've never met one. So I sit here and I say to myself, that's the biggest threat in America. It was all not. It was all, of course, inflated again. Do they exist? Yeah, of course. Are they something that people are concerned about day to day in a country 350 million people? No, they are not. Imagine for a second. And this just, I think, puts it into context that we have 10 people here have been charged with attempted murder of a federal officer. Okay? Ten people have been charged with attempted murder of a federal officer. Basically ambushing this ICE agent at this facility in Texas with rifles, trying to kill the guy. And Clay, imagine if FBI officers who were arresting. Again, I'm going to this because it's the. The very partisan thing in the moment right now. Immigration's the very partisan fight nationally. And, you know, we're on the side of good and the law with this one. But imagine on the J6 thing for a second, 10 J6 supporters or, you know, 10 people who were supportive of the J6 rights movement, which is all it was. These people should be treated fairly and not treated like monsters. And members of Al Qaeda, in many cases, not really doing anything. And then there was an ambush of an FBI officer who got shot in the neck trying to serve a warrant on J6 Clay. There would be like armored cars patrolling the streets of America with loudspeakers declaring martial law under Biden. I mean, it would be a full scale national freakout if that had happened. And this story gets swept under the rug. And it's also swept under the rug at a time when you have. This is a very common thing. I keep hearing they're saying, why do these ICE officers, these are elected officials in America. Why do they have to cover their faces while they're doing these operations? Oh, I don't know. Because they don't want their family to face death threats and possible actual attempted violence because they're enforcing the law. What does that say about the Democrats that the leadership is willing to throw law enforcement under the bus so quickly and so ruthlessly?
Clay Travis
I think this Is true. It also buck, I would point out that Democrats are really on the wrong side of immigration still. Did you see this study that came out? Because I think it ties in. Signal came out with a study, a plus rating. I understand pollsters as it are, as they are, you can agree or disagree with them, but this is pretty significant. Do you support or oppose deporting those illegally in the United States back to their country of origin? Support 61% oppose 35%. Even as we are still in the midst of Democrats trying to say, oh there, this is the Holocaust. ICE agents are modern day Nazis. Listen to this, tubak. White American 6531 support. Black 5337 support. Hispanic 50 to 48 support. I mean, these are huge numbers. Every major racial group in America thinks that if you're illegally in this country, you should be sent back to the country of your origin.
Buck Sexton
This is the learning mechanism of the American people on display based on what the Biden regime put us through. And for a lot of people, the immigration propaganda. And of course, when I say immigration, we're talking about illegal immigration, illegal alien entry into the United States. The illegal alien propaganda was, oh, this is just about being a nice person and this is the way America was built. And they're doing the jobs Americans won't do and everything else. And under Biden, it turned into 10 million people are coming here. They're lying, okay? They're overwhelmingly not asylum. They have no basis for asylum. They, they're lying to get into the country. They're getting access to benefits, they're trying to scam the system and they're putting emergency rooms and state and local budgets and go down the list under huge duress. And people are tired of the crap. People of good faith on the issue of illegal immigration. And I mean, tens of millions of Americans feel scammed Now. I'm talking about people like me that have thought this was bad for a long time. I mean, new people have come to the party and, and realized the media was lying to them, the Democrats were lying to them. Trump has been speaking the truth and they got scammed. And that's why the numbers are what you just laid out. And Democrats don't know how to handle this right now.
Clay Travis
Let me also say this, this is why I'm such an optimist that over time the right arguments win. This is one where Trump was 1 billion percent right. And think about all when he came down the escalator in 2015 and started his rise politically, what did he say? The border the border. The border people are illegal. Violent criminals are coming across the border. And they tried to cancel him. They tried to cancel him for that. And Trump has stayed on message for a decade now, leading with the border most of the time. And now the American public, black, white, Asian, Hispanic, has all been convinced that he is right on this issue. And this is why the marketplace of ideas is so important, because you can take something. You remember this buck, when he started that it was a minority opinion. They tried to cancel him. They took him off television, wouldn't let him. Yeah.
Buck Sexton
They thought they could just shout him down with it's racist. Well, now a majority of black Americans and a majority of Latino Americans agree with Trump.
Clay Travis
Yes. Because they have seen the impact of illegal immigration in their communities and they know it's wrong. And this is why, over time, I really do. This is my, this is my ultimate optimism and this is what I think about a lot. The marketplace of ideas matter so much because sometimes you say things that make people uncomfortable. And over time, you continue to make your argument and more and more people see it. And I think that's the story writ large of Trump. Because you know what? 64 million people voted for Trump in 2016. By 2024, 77 million voted for Trump. There's tens of millions of you out there listening right now all over the country who didn't vote for Trump in 16, that came on to vote for Trump by 24. And that's because of the rightness of his arguments over time being endorsed by the American public. I want to talk to you about the rightness of Trump's argument. Remember, by the way, when everybody said, hey, we're going to have World War Three if Trump attacks Iran? Remember when we were told thousands of American troops are going to die, it's going to be an unbelievable calamity. There hasn't been a single casualty. But fortunately, the Middle east, as Trump is working right now, seems to be hopefully calming down. Right now, we're looking for a ceasefire in Gaza. Hezbollah, Hamas, both defeated. The Houthis in retreat as well. Iran, hopefully for years, pushed back on their ability to be able to have a nuclear weapon. And we hope that ceasefire can last. But, you know, the reality is Israel has to constantly be building bomb shelters because their people are in danger at every moment of every day. And that's what the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews works to help do, is take care of innocent people all over Israel. And your next gift will help provide wide scale food distribution along with critical first aid and emergency Supply supplies items will help Israel's most vulnerable, the sick, the elderly, children and families. The IFCJ is there in Israel working tirelessly thanks to your donations. Your gift today will also help place new bomb shelters. As I just said, these are incredibly valuable and important across Israel, along with necessary supplies. Now's the time to save and help heal Israel. Call 888 488, IFCJ. That's 888-488-IFCJ. You can also go online to IFCJ.org that's IFCJ.org you don't know what you don't know, right? But you could on the Sunday Hang with Clay and Buck podcast, I was talking about this with Buck off the air, we want you to subscribe to our YouTube channel. It has been growing quite a lot, but I want it to go over 100,000 subscribers. It is in the neighborhood of 75,000 right now. And I was just kind of scrolling through because my kids are on YouTube all the time. And my thought is that if you have kids or grandkids and you hear an argument on this show and you are thinking, man, I wish my kids would pay attention to this because maybe they're being taught something different in high school, college grandkids, they are much more likely to respond to something that they see on YouTube. That's just the truth and the reality. And maybe if you send them YouTube links from us and they are willing to watch them, they'll start getting exposed to other aspects of the algorithm that are also feeding them things. And I just got to tell you, my kids get almost all of their news from two places, YouTube and TikTok. That's it. They don't watch television other than sporting events with me. They are on YouTube and they are on TikTok. And I bet if you have kids or grandkids that are similar in age to mine, mine are 17 to 10, three boys, as you guys know. And they all. That's where they get their news from. That's where they get their worldview from. And so we need to bump up our numbers on YouTube in a significant way. And so I would ask you guys, get out there, search us out Clay and buck on YouTube and, and subscribe. And you can sometimes be pulling video clips waving at you right now that your kids are more likely to pay attention to. They may not listen to the radio, they may not listen to news on podcast, but they may very well see it on YouTube. So I would like to bump those numbers up. You can search out my name Clay Travis, Buck Sexton. And you'll find the Clay and Buck show. If you just go to YouTube.com, type in clay and Buck, boom, we will come in. Make sure you spell Buck correctly, because otherwise I don't know what's going to. I don't know what's going to show up.
Buck Sexton
It's a whole different. Whole different situation you're in.
Clay Travis
That's a very different world. Got to hit the B.
Buck Sexton
Got to hit the B.
Clay Travis
Got to hit the B. Got to hit the B.
Buck Sexton
All right.
Clay Travis
A lot of you out there wanting to react to a variety of different things. Let me hit you with this. We talked about Biden's doctor taking the Fifth Amendment on the top of the show. Senator Mike Lee, and maybe we should offer him an invite to come on and talk about this. Just tweeted in the last five minutes. Now that Dr. O' Connor has invoked his Fifth Amendment rights, should he be offered immunity to get him to testify? Really interesting question from Senator Lee.
Buck Sexton
Interesting question. Question for you. I don't know this. Generally. I go through life knowing more than lawyers about a lot of legal questions. But that's. Put that aside. I don't know this one. So you help me out. Because you actually went to law school. Couldn't. How does it work when you have the. It's like. Isn't it like attorney client privilege a bit with a doctor and a patient? So you can't compel testimony.
Clay Travis
This is important. Yes, please. So, okay, so there. I would say there's two pathways here. One, yes. You cannot have the doctor testify about what his medical review necessarily showed of Joe Biden. All right. Like HIPAA laws, he can't say without the patient's consent, usually. Which makes sense, by the way. Now, you can maybe say for presidents, there should be a different standard. But I don't think most of you would want your doctor sitting down in testimony.
Buck Sexton
Doctors, lawyers, priests should have true confidentiality. There's an important reason for that.
Clay Travis
Yeah. And that. That. Which is also why the law historically has said you can't be compelled to testify against. Okay. But that is not what I think his most interesting testimony would be. I'm not asking. And this is important. I'm glad you asked this question, because the key for him is not his medical diagnosis of Joe Biden. It is asking him whether people told him and conspired with him to have him say things publicly that he did not believe were true. That's different than the medical analysis.
Buck Sexton
This gets a little bit into the fraud exception for attorney Client privilege, Right. If your lawyer is like a mob lawyer and he's involved in helping you orchestrate actual criminal activity, knowingly, attorney client privilege is out the window on that all of a sudden. Right. So if a doctor is being asked to testify about criminality around him, that's a different thing than when you touched his, you know, when you touched your patient's knee with the little hammer thing that it, you know, did the knee.
Clay Travis
Look, if somebody sits down and says, hey, I'm obviously not a doctor.
Buck Sexton
That was the best I could do. Sorry.
Clay Travis
Yeah, no, here's a good way to explain it. If. If I sit down with the doctor, if I'm one of Biden's politburo, if I'm one of his top advisers and I sit down with the doctor and I say, hey, I don't care what this physical examination shows. You're coming out of it. And you're telling us Joe Biden is 100% able to be president. Right. And that is a conspiracy. Right. Like, because you're not actually asking him what his medical diagnosis was as soon as they tell you, let me take it outside of the president. Right. There have been conflicts in the world of sports because team doctors are treating players and the coaches are always like, hey, we want this guy good to go. He's helping. Right?
Buck Sexton
This is in any given Sunday with one of my favorites, James woods, when he's the team doctor for that football team. I've seen that movie for some reason, many great.
Clay Travis
It's actually a great movie.
Buck Sexton
And he actually gives this whole speech. He's like, these are warriors. I knew that they wanted to. Does the whole thing. It's very good role for Mr. Woods, who, I don't know, maybe even listens to the show sometimes. Maybe. I've met James a few times, so. But yes, same. That's the same principle, right? Where's the.
Clay Travis
It's the conflict between what your actual medical diagnosis is and the reality of what the expectation of your medical diagnosis should be. So if I like, again, if you take it outside of the world of Biden and politics and you say, okay, you are the coach and you've got a player who's injured, and that player may not be a hundred percent, and it may not even be healthy for him to be on the field, but if he's on the field, your team has a better chance of winning. And if you sit down with the doctor before he goes in for his consultation and you say, doc, we know that no matter what you see, that quarterback is going to be on the field Saturday or Sunday, right fist pound. He could theoretically, without having to go into his actual diagnosis, say there was pressure being put on me to say Joe Biden was fine even without me having to have done my, my analysis of Biden. By the way, I think this was true. Here's another example of something he could testify about. Was he involved in any way in a debate about whether Joe Biden should have a cognitive test or not? Right. Did he sit around as the politics people without knowing what the test results might be? Did they sit around and say, hey doc, will you lie and say he passed a cognitive test even if he didn't like, we need to know what you're going to say before we even do this test. What if he fails? Will you lie? I mean again, I think Senator Mike Lee is asking a really good question here, which is, hey, is was there a conspiracy that did not involve directly your medical analysis? He could theoretically testify to that without having to worry about HIPAA related issues. A bunch of you want to weigh in on a variety of different topics. All right, so let's see Ty in San Antonio, one was hold. Let's start with Tommy and Clearwater first. Tommy, what you got?
Unknown
Hey brother. First of all, I want to say thank God for you guys to show after Rush Limbaugh died, I thought AM radio was over me but then you guys came along. So thank you, thank you for that.
Buck Sexton
Thank you.
Unknown
But I called about your Pam Bondi, the Epstein files. You, you guys seem like you were mad at her and I think she's a hero. I think she was the only one who was willing to get out there and talk about it. And she obviously got shut down by people above her.
Clay Travis
I appreciate, I appreciate the call you can make that argument. I think that's not the good argument to make. And in fact Pam Bondi, we should play this audio because there has been a ton of talk. Pam Bondi I think has not been articulate enough about many of the issues that she is dealing with. She has tended to, I think over promise and under deliver in some of her media availabilities.
Buck Sexton
I'd also just say no one should have thought like if Pam had called me, ok, you know, she can get my number. She knows plenty of people who know me, said hey, we're just going to drop a kind of, I think the, a good word for it is perfunctory meaning, you know, just the, the most sort of basic and, and limited stuff, a perfunctory memo on a Sunday night that's just like. Yeah, nothing to see. We've done everything. See you later. Of course, that wasn't going to work. That was not a good idea. You need to say, hey, guys. Announcer from the doj. We're going to have a presser. The Attorney General is going to address America. She's going to read from a prepared statement. She's going to know what she's going to say in advance, you know, maybe be flanked by Cash and Bongino, who are both patriots and warriors. And, you know, just like, that's what needed to happen here. So I. I'm sorry. From an. I'm not even. Don't even get into the. Oh, but the conspiracy and the COVID I'm just saying the op. We can talk about that, too. The optics of how this was handled was just abominable. It was not only.
Clay Travis
Not only that statement. What about giving the binders with no actual information in it to all of those?
Buck Sexton
Well, that was strike. That was strike one and maybe strike one and two. That's what I mean. You know, she had time to learn about what's going on here.
Clay Travis
Okay, but. So I want to play this, because I had them pull this. In fact, two things. First, this is Pam Bondi. There's lots of talk about, hey, there's thousands of. Of child porn documents and videos and everything else that. That were in the possession of Jeffrey Epstein. Why are there no charges coming? I'm gonna have to make this clearer than Pam Bondi has been able to. That stuff that Epstein downloaded from the Internet, everything that they have in their possession in the FBI, in the Department of Justice, relating to Epstein. This is something that I didn't know because I think they've not addressed this publicly very well. I thought, oh, this must be Epstein in videos with minors, like engaging in criminal behavior.
Buck Sexton
Yes.
Clay Travis
This is just stuff he downloaded off the Internet of child porn. Kitty porn. I mean, it's awful, but it's something that they prosecute all the time. She said that yesterday. It didn't get very much attention. This was in the Cabinet Office. This is important. This is what they actually have. It's kitty porn that was downloaded by Epstein that he's not in.
Buck Sexton
Listen to the tens of thousands of video. They turned out to be child porn downloaded by that disgusting Jeffrey episode Epstein. Child porn is what. They were never going to be released. Never going to see the light of day.
Clay Travis
Okay, she hasn't done a good job. I had a bunch of conversations. This is important. It's not actually Epstein in the child Porn. It's not other people that he knows in the child porn. It's just nasty stuff on the Internet that he was attracted to.
Buck Sexton
This is what they have. Okay. And to your point, they need to be very clear. This is the evidence that the FBI has. This is what they've.
Clay Travis
Okay.
Buck Sexton
And this is stuff that would send anybody away for, you know, 25 to life and. Okay. All true. That needs to be more clear. That does not mean, for those of you who still have questions, that the surveillance setup that we all know Epstein had in these homes was not used at an earlier time for Epstein recording himself, which I assume he did. Why else did he do this? And possibly, and I believe likely other people as part of a blackmail operation. This is a very important separation to understand. There's what Bondi and Bongino and Cash and there's the evidence that they have when they took over the FBI. They haven't been running the FBI for 20 years. There's the evidence that they have. And then there's what we know about Epstein previously and what we can surmise and believe and analyze and he was doing. Additionally, one does not negate the other. So I can say these guys are showing us what they have. Right, Clay? But also say I still believe that Epstein. That there were other, quote, unquote, clients and that there was blackmail going on. That's not to say that the FBI is lying to us about it. I don't believe they're lying about what they have now.
Clay Travis
Correct. And I think that Pam Bondi has actually not been articulate enough in explaining these things. And that's why we're having to talk to you guys with right now. I mean, I just played that audio. She didn't even. I don't think in that scenario. Do a great job of it. And for those of you out there, this is why Trump. Let's quickly play this, or actually, we'll play it when we come back because.
Buck Sexton
We got to go to break here.
Clay Travis
But this is why Trump is saying, like, we got to move on. This guy was an awful pedophile, and there's evidence of that. He killed himself. He's dead. Even if you don't believe he killed himself, there are no other crimes out there in the FBI file that are prosecutable. And I would just say this. We got a break. Do you think Dan Bongino and Cash Patel wouldn't love to be able to prosecute somebody they would love more than anything in their heart's desire to have found evidence to allow more people to be prosecuted. It isn't there. It just isn't there. Now to Buck's point, I think there's a good chance that it's not there because it got destroyed and when they came into office, it's just there's not anything there. There's no one to be prosecuted. Will play Trump and I'll explain what I think Trump is saying too in a second. We come back a lot of retailers venues going cashless now. Clay Travis
Welcome back in Clay, Travis Buck Sexton show we got a lot of you who want to weigh in. If you'll update me, Greg, on the absolute latest there. But I do want to play this because a lot of things okay, what's the FBI doing? What is the they're doing a lot of things. They're moving the headquarters. Remember, they've been there six months. They're trying to change the overall culture. But they're also opening an investigation into James Cony, James Comey and John Brennan. And there are potentially criminal charges coming over the 2017 Russia, Russia, Russia conspiracy and hoax this is underway here Is President Trump talking about that earlier today in a press availability. Cut 33 James Comey and John Brennan now under criminal investigation related to the Trump Russia probe. Do you want to see these two guys behind bars?
Unknown
Well, I know nothing about it other than what I read today. But I will tell you, I think.
Buck Sexton
They'Re very dishonest people.
Unknown
I think they're crooked as hell and maybe they have to pay a price for that.
Buck Sexton
I believe they are truly bad people and dishonest people.
Unknown
So whatever happens, happens.
Clay Travis
And I think this is evidence of trying to clean out and address the culture there. And there are a lot of things that have to be cleaned up. And I think these guys are doing their best and it's easy to sit around. And I, I will say this, I mean, again, this is why I think logic oftentimes plays into this substantially. Maybe the most dishonest thing that has happened in Trump 2.0. Leaving aside the judges, I'm curious if you would sign off on 2.0, is the idea that Trump is somehow involved with Epstein. Right. I mean, it's the most ludicrous thing on the planet because do you really think Democrats wouldn't have put that around Trump's neck and tried to drown him with it for the last decade? It doesn't exist. And so I think that is almost a version of Trump 2.0. The Russia collusion. Russia collusion was a total lie. I mean, you really lived this buck from the intelligence analyst perspective. They laundered a garbage Steel Report Steele dossier, and they tried to create based on. I know this well because I bought Facebook ads as someone who runs a media company and was involved in a lot of the Facebook ad universe, they manufactured a couple of hundred thousand dollars of crappy ads that were bought on Facebook by Russian interest into somehow swinging the outcome of the 2016 election. And they really sold that to a lot of morons in the media who ran with that as the truth. And I think the set, the, the secondary argument here of somehow Trump is involved with Epstein is every bit as dishonest as the Russia collusion hoax.
Buck Sexton
They, they wanted to run with it. That's part one of it.
Clay Travis
Right.
Buck Sexton
So it's always hard to separate where, where, where the lib journos are just dumb versus where they're dishonest because they're both. But, you know, there is a sort of, occasionally one is a dominant theme and the other one recedes a little bit. But Clay, on the. I have good news, bad news on the Brennan and Clapper thing. You want, you want the good news, bad news on this is going to want the.
Clay Travis
Well, my concern is immediately when I, when I hear this is just statute of limitations. So, like that.
Buck Sexton
So you're already, you're already. Yeah, it's cool. You're stealing my thunder a little bit here. That's all right. No, so on the good news part of it, I think that you're going to see revelations of even more just underhanded bureaucratic Skullduggery from the, you know, investigation of what they were doing. Essentially, you're going to have to be, you're going to have to be somebody who will embrace feigned a level of stupidity that's not plausible. To think that these guys didn't know what they were doing is wrong. I think that should come out, I think that will come out more on the, on the wamp, wamp side of it, the not so good side of it. I would be absolutely shocked if criminal charges were brought against Brennan or Clapper for a combination of reasons. Statute of limitations, which you already said on most federal, low, low level federal things is five years low level. You know, there's a lot of, there's a lot of federal crimes for which there's no statute of limitations. But for most low level kind of things like, you know, lying under oath kind of stuff, and you're looking at five years. Yeah. And so the statute of limitations probably run on a lot of that. And I think that beyond that, a lot of these guys, they're slippery. Someone like a Comey, a Brennan, a Clapper, they know this system, they know the game. They know what to put an email and what not to. And I just don't, I just don't want you guys to get, I don't want anyone to get their hopes up that anyone is going to face real consequences for that Russia collusion thing. At this point, I said this about Benghazi and Hillary and I got so much hate and it was not hate but anger from people. And I was right. No one's, no one's getting arrested or frog. Marched out of their, out of their office or their, their home based on Russia collusion stuff. At this point in my mind, I, if I'm wrong, I will come on the air and I will admit it. But I'm just preparing you for, yes, it's good to get the truth out. I'm not, I'm not saying otherwise. They're not going to get prosecuted and imprisoned based on Russia collusion at this point in, in my opinion. So we'll see.
Clay Travis
Let's take some of these calls. A lot of you stacking up, variety of different takes out there. Ty in San Antonio, what you got for us?
Unknown
Hey guys, thanks for taking my call. First time, long time. So this, this Epstein situation, it seems like to me, and this is my personal opinion, that there's a bit of insulting of the intelligence here. And I want to address Pam Bondi's explanation first. And it comes across to me as low IQ and low energy if she wants. And I'll just speak for maga, right, if she wants the MAGA nation to believe that all they found was kitty porn, child porn, and Epstein had, you know, was just viewing this, nothing there, then it really doesn't. A guy with his sexual deviant nature, his connections, his money, and not to mention guys he needed to fly people to an island to have sex with them. Okay, I'm a 42 year old bachelor. I don't need an island, guys, I got a house with rooms.
Clay Travis
Right, all right, but so let me, let me, let me ask you this question. If you're right about all that, and I'm not saying you're wrong, why would the FBI keep all of that information for years if they were protecting Epstein brother?
Unknown
I think there are, and I really want to get to Trump here also, but I think there are names on this, on this connection book that he had that could, that could really, really upset the world in an economic devastating way. Potentially. You know, different things. That man extrapolating it out, there are big time names on there. And, and, and to say, you know, well, he was picking people up in a private jet, taking them to this island, whining and dining them, and nothing nefarious, criminal or, you know, sinister happened.
Clay Travis
There is absolutely, there's a.
Buck Sexton
Hold on.
Clay Travis
I appreciate that argument, but there's a difference between I think something inappropriate, illegal, whatever words you want to put in indefensible happened and what can be proven. What I'm saying is if you are protecting Epstein, let's presume that your argument is correct. Let's just, I'm not saying I agree with it. I'm just saying let's logically.
Buck Sexton
Well, it's really not protecting Epstein, to be clear. It's. If the argument is protecting other people, that Epstein's clients, so to speak, you know, his, the other individuals who are.
Clay Travis
Involved in the sex crimes, why wouldn't they destroy all of that evidence?
Buck Sexton
Well, this is my thing. I don't believe that that evidence hasn't long since been destroyed.
Clay Travis
And that's that, that's my, that's my, that's my question for Ty. If I'm saying you're right, like all of these things are true, if you believe that that existed, why would it still exist when the Trump 2.0 team comes in? That's my, that's my argument. I'm not saying that any of the things you're saying are incorrect. I'm saying you're in order for this to still be true. What you are saying is all of the evidence is there of inappropriate, illegal, impermissible behavior. Right. And that the people that are now there with Trump 2.0 see all of it, reviewed it all, and are now choosing to lie to you about what is in the possession of the FBI and the Department of Justice. That to me doesn't add up. Destroying evidence.
Buck Sexton
Go ahead.
Unknown
You know, you know, much of the evidence that I'm speaking to I think is circumstantial, guys, to be honest with you, and.
Buck Sexton
Right, but that can't necessarily be proven in a court of law, Ty. Right, that's. They're talking about prosecutions.
Unknown
No, I'm just. I'm just saying to me that, you know, for. For them to come out and say that there is nothing to see here, guys, that is. That is. It's just beyond my belief.
Buck Sexton
They're saying, hold on. I think specificity, Ty, I think specifically matters. I think Clay, and I agree with you more than maybe it has come across. I do not believe that, for example, allegedly Prince Andrew is the only other guy who got involved with one of the. One of the, you know, Epstein trafficked women. I do not believe that. Okay? I don't believe that. Full stop. I do not believe that. I also don't believe that Epstein was not operating a blackmail operation. I do not believe that. Ok, But I don't believe that Bondi Bongino Cash have evidence of those things in their possession and they are suppressing that because of pressure on them. I mean, I. Look, I've known Dan for 15 years. I've known Cash for certainly since the beginning of now, about 10 years. Those guys would cut off their arm before they covered. For somebody committing the kind of sex crimes, it just would not happen. It would not happen. So, you know, that's. I can just speak to you honestly, Ty, man to man, Dan and Cash are not sitting there going, yeah, it would look bad politically. So we're going to cover for these pedos. They would not do it. They would put their lives at risk before they would do it. So I promise you that is not. And people can get mad at me for this. That is not happening. That doesn't mean that the other things that I said did not happen previously. We have to keep these thoughts in our mind. At the same time, I think there were more people who committed sex crimes and I think there was blackmail going on. But the current FBI and the current DOJ, I do not believe has in their possession evidence of those crimes.
Unknown
Then maybe.
Clay Travis
I think that's 100% messaging here.
Unknown
You know, maybe, maybe the messaging here, and particularly by Pam Bondi was terrible because, yes, Trump.
Clay Travis
Yes, we agree.
Unknown
You know what? Trump actually campaigned on shining light on this Jeffrey Epstein situation. And you know, I did. Yes, because MAGA Nation. MAGA Nation understands that America suffers from a pedophilia problem and we suffer from a human sex trafficking problem. And Jeffrey Epstein was the poster child for everything that ills us in terms of that conversation. Trump ran on that and for him to come out yesterday and just batted away, Guys, I don't know what it was. It's almost like you've listened to your child for, for 13 years tell you the truth reflexively, and one day they lied to you and your, your, your, your street smarts just stands up and you know that they're being disingenuous because you have listened to them. You have come to be able to, you know, basically predict what they're going to do. Trump never turns his back on MAGA Nation. He knows better than that. And yesterday was the first time I've ever saw him do it.
Buck Sexton
Guys, it's a, I think it's a messaging mistake that has been made. I do not believe that. You know, people are. Look, Clay, let's just say people are saying that they flipped Trump. And I'm like, guys, the guy who, Can I just take a moment here? The guy who doesn't need this, who's the billionaire who, who took a bullet in the ear and said, fight. He got flipped on this. No way. No way.
Clay Travis
I think that's a crazy argument.
Buck Sexton
It's an insane. That doesn't mean. Again, like I said, I think there were more sex criminals. I think they've so far gotten away with it. I think there was a blackmail ring, but that doesn't mean that that evidence just sat around for 20 years and the FBI is now sitting on this trove of the evidence and going, we don't want people to know the truth. That's a different thing.
Clay Travis
I totally agree, and I actually agree with Ty also in that I think Pam Bondi did not do a good job with this. I think she created a mess. I think Trump has seen all the evidence and all the reports, and I, this is my honest address of Trump's comments yesterday. I think he's seen all the evidence. He knows that Jeffrey Epstein was a bad dude and a pedophile. But we're in the middle of the, the floods in Texas. We're in the middle of ICE agents trying to get murdered. And I think he Honestly believes that Epstein is old news and he wants to focus on the things that he can address. Now, whatever you think about Epstein, the guy's dead. The guy appears to have been an awful, disgusting pedophile and he's dead. And all the lawsuits have played out. Most of his money has been taken away and paid off to his victims. I don't see Epstein as someone who has dodged responsibility for his criminal culpability. There are other people. I agree with Buck. I think that it's highly unlikely that Prince Andrew was the only super rich, super famous person who was involved with the women that were being trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein.
Buck Sexton
And there's also, there's, there's the, there's the things here. You've raised this too. I mean, some of ep. Some of the women that Epstein was around and you know, were, were of, were of age. To be very clear, we're 19, we're 20. And so is, you know, is that now that's not criminal for anyone to be engaged unless there's some coercion that they're a of or, you know, so there's all this. But that evidence, it's been, you know, we're talking about some of this stuff happened 15, 20 years ago. Yes.
Clay Travis
And also I think you would speak to this. I think there was probably intelligence related asset using some of this was honeypot stuff.
Buck Sexton
And trust me, you're not going to leave that stuff around for the FBI to find in 20. In 2019. Look, I share your frustrations. I went on the Sean Ryan show two, three.
Clay Travis
Three years. Two years ago.
Buck Sexton
Three years ago now. And went in detail about how outraged I was about the FBI raid in 2019 in his house. And people thought what I was saying was so crazy, Clay, it couldn't be true. It was true.
Clay Travis
Yeah.
Buck Sexton
So, you know, we've been on this beat for a long time. But let's keep this in perspective. Let's not start to. You know, I do not question Trump, Dan Cash or Pam's integrity. I think Pam has made. I think the AG has made some errors in presentation and has misspoken about the way this has been presented in a few ways that's not been helpful and can.
Clay Travis
Even yesterday we didn't get much attention. We got to go to break. But the thousands and tens and tens of thousands. I thought that that was Epstein video. It's just stuff that he was downloading porn off of the Internet for people out there who are like, what about these victims? Yeah, I want them all caught. But it wasn't Epstein's videos. It was him just finding awful child porn stuff on the Internet. We'll close up shop next segment. Good call, Ty. The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show Episode: Daily Review with Clay and Buck - Jul 9, 2025 Release Date: July 9, 2025
The episode kicks off with Clay Travis addressing a significant development regarding President Joe Biden's health. He discusses the recent Congressional investigation into Biden's mental and physical faculties, focusing on the actions of Dr. Kevin O'Connor, Biden's personal physician and White House chief health official.
Clay emphasizes the gravity of Dr. O'Connor invoking the Fifth Amendment during his deposition, suggesting it indicates a potential conspiracy to conceal Biden's cognitive decline.
Clay speculates on the possible outcomes of the investigation, proposing two main scenarios that could escalate the situation:
Buck Sexton adds to the discussion, highlighting the political implications and the potential for increased scrutiny on Biden's administration.
Buck Sexton introduces the topic of the BRICS summit in Rio, discussing the group's aim to reduce reliance on the US dollar in global trade. This shift could have significant implications for the global financial order.
Philip Patrick, a spokesman for Birch Gold Group, provides insights into how BRICS nations are actively working to reshape global trade dynamics.
Clay underscores the importance of this development, framing it as a potential threat to the dominance of the US dollar.
A significant portion of the discussion centers around a violent incident that occurred on July 4th at an ICE detention center in Alvarado, Texas. Ten individuals have been charged with attempted murder after shooting at federal officers.
Clay delves into the political ramifications, comparing it to past events like the January 6th Capitol riot, and questions the media's coverage of the incident.
The hosts engage in a heated debate about the portrayal of political violence, arguing that left-wing movements have been more responsible for recent acts of violence compared to right-wing groups typically highlighted by mainstream media.
Clay supports this viewpoint, suggesting that mainstream narratives have unfairly painted right-wing individuals as uniquely dangerous.
Supporting their stance on immigration, Clay references a study by Signal showing a majority of Americans across various racial groups support deporting individuals who are illegally in the United States.
Buck reinforces this by criticizing the Biden administration's handling of immigration and the perceived propaganda surrounding illegal immigration.
A contentious topic arises around the handling of Jeffrey Epstein's case. The hosts critique Attorney General Pam Bondi's public statements, clarifying that the FBI possesses primarily illicit material (referred to as "kitty porn") rather than incriminating videos involving Epstein himself.
Listener Ty from San Antonio challenges this portrayal, questioning why more evidence hasn't surfaced if there were extensive criminal activities linked to Epstein.
Clay counters by emphasizing the lack of substantial evidence linking prominent individuals beyond what's already been publicly addressed.
The discussion shifts to recent investigations within the FBI and DOJ, particularly targeting former officials like James Comey and John Brennan in relation to the Trump-Russia probe. The hosts express skepticism about the likelihood of these investigations leading to criminal charges due to factors like statutes of limitations.
Buck remains doubtful about the prospects of legal consequences for these individuals, citing technical and procedural barriers.
Listener interaction plays a significant role in the episode, with Ty from San Antonio voicing concerns about the effectiveness and transparency of the DOJ's handling of the Epstein case. The hosts address these concerns by reiterating their stance on the lack of concrete evidence beyond known illicit materials.
Clay and Buck defend the DOJ's actions, asserting that there's no substantial evidence being withheld that would implicate additional high-profile individuals.
The episode wraps up with a call to action for listeners to engage with the show on platforms like YouTube to reach younger audiences who primarily consume news through digital means. Clay emphasizes the importance of expanding their reach to counteract prevailing narratives.
