Welcome everybody to the Monday edition of the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton show. Kicks off right now. Clay having a week of vacation with the family. So it's just gonna be me, the Buckster, also known as just Buck, in for this week and excited to talk to you all about the news. What's going on all across this great land of ours. Play sends you all high fives. Will be back a week from today on Monday now. So let's start to look at where we're going here, my friends. We have signs of America healing and then some signs of the markets getting a little choppy on the progress Front. In Washington D.C. over the weekend, there were crews dismantling Black Lives Matter Plaza, which is just a few blocks north of the White House. It was there for over four years. And we'll talk about this. What a change is underway here. Also not a surprise. Uh, but Andrew Cuomo, who is going to be running for mayor in New York or is running for mayor in New York and is already way ahead in the polls, he's starting to carve out the quote, unquote reasonable Democrat lane because he thinks that there is an opportunity for him to not just become the mayor, but to become the mayor on his way to running for president. He's got some thoughts on cops that you will say are obvious because they are, but for Democrats these days, nothing is obvious. And I just got got that to talk to you about here. Uh, and so much more that we will be diving into. But first up, let's talk about where Trump is, where the economy is, and what we are going to be told in the, in the days ahead about, about all of this. First off, yes, there is amazing stuff happening, amazing stuff happening. I mean, here's an example. A New York Times headline, inside Trump's war on the irs. Ah, magnifique. It is a perfection, isn't it? Inside Trump's war on the irs. Now they're saying it's going to stall your audits. And the skeleton stuff. Biden hired 70,000 new IRS agents. What are they all doing? Well, we all have some idea, I think, of what they were going to do. Things are going to be quite different now. We can talk about this. IRS might have to shed as much as 50% of its workforce. This is all part of the remolding of the American, not just tax, but I would say American governance code in general that is underway right now. There is a major project of, dare I say, national sovereignty reclamation underway. We are reclaiming things under this Trump administration like our right to not be spent into oblivion, our right to say that bureaucrats do not rule over us. They are supposed to serve the public, not serve themselves. They are not supposed to be tools of partisan attack. They're not supposed to be weaponized at the IRS or the doj. All of these things are now underway. It's going to take some time. It's not going to happen all at once. And this is the part that I, I want to keep reminding you of because the first month it was just amazing. Executive orders, we're all doing MAGA backflips. Fantastic, incredible win by Trump. Defeated the deep state, defeated the four farcical criminal prosecutions against him, survived two assassination attempts. Just an unbelievable comeback story for Donald Trump. Month one, it's setting the tone, setting the agenda, taking actions, executive orders. Now we're getting into, we're under the hood and it's messy. There are going to be some tough moments here. It's not all going to be clear sailing even with the right captain at the helm. And Trump is pointing this out himself. He spoke to Maria Bartiromo over the weekend, also speaking on Air Force One. And look, right now the stock market has gotten a little bit of a tough day. Nasdaq has fallen 3% here as I talk to you. Trump hasn't ruled out recession is something that is now being reported. Trump is saying, look everybody, you can't just watch. This is cut six. You can't just watch the stock market day to day. We are going long term, major transformation to put us in a better place as an economy and as a country. Play six, you said, look, we're going to have a disruption, but we're okay with that. Is that what you meant? The stock market going down was the disruption. What other disruption were you alluding to? Look, what I have to do is build a strong country. You can't really watch the stock market. If you look at China, they have 100 year perspective we have a quarter, we go by quarters. That's true. And you can't go by that. You have to do what's right. Why? What we're doing is we're building a tremendous foundation for the future. Tremendous foundation, I think Trump giving a little shout out there to the Hundred Year Marathon about Chinese strategy, a book by Michael Pillsbury, which I've read, and I think a lot of you would enjoy it, if you're interested in China's view of itself and of the 21st century, its role in the 21st century. But I think Trump is taking exactly the right approach here, which is, yeah, we're not going to freak out based on a 2 or 3% market swing on any given day. Here's what we have to understand now as a country, as Doge and Elon are doing their work, a lot of bad stuff has been going on behind the scenes of the government. And we look at something like the $36 trillion national debt, we say, oh my gosh, what a massive number. How did we ever get here? But there's also been a lot of shenanigans in the way that, for example, employment data is reported. Just remember, every single one of Biden's quarters last year were over reported for jobs. That's part one. So the perception management, operation, this is like info, this is like information warfare that you'll see in intelligence, military side of things, psyops, psychological operations, operations, perception management underway by the media. And the way they talk about these things was very clear. So they over reported the Trump jobs, I'm sorry, the Biden jobs dramatically. And what else we've figured out, or something else that has come to the forefront. I mentioned this a couple of days ago on the show. 25% of jobs under Biden, I think it was in 2023, but I'm sure the 24 numbers were very similar. Were government jobs. That is a massive percentage of government jobs. If we saw this in another country, we'd say, oh my gosh, they're creating a bureaucracy that is going to strangle free enterprise and just be a weight on the shoulders of the people. And sure enough, the more we look at the numbers, the more we look at the truth. We find out that that is what has been going on all along. Because bureaucrats cost money. Bureaucrats also decide that they want to justify their existence and so they start doing things, things that are not necessarily helpful, things that often are going to slow down the economy and going to hurt your freedom and your ability to just engage in self Determination day in and day out. And then there's a step even beyond that, which is the weaponization of the bureaucracy, which we have seen, where the self aware, unaccountable bureaucracy, formerly known as the swamp, decides that it is a lever for one half of the political spectrum in this country against the other. That is an entirely unsustainable situation, and it is being addressed. Now, finally, this is happening. Now, I bring this up because there's going to be some disruption, as Trump's already said, as a result of this. Now, disruption is not a euphemism for a depression. Okay, everything is going to be fine and then better than fine. But when you have to fix a problem, right, when you go into a situation, when you step in. I don't know how many of you have watched the show Kitchen Nightmares with Chef Ramsay. I like cooking. Clay does not like cooking. He doesn't cook. I like cooking. Chef Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmare show at its best was a very entertaining formula. I know it's very staged and everything, but put that aside. He goes in and he's like, who's in charge here? You know, he starts yelling at him, and it's because the place is a mess. Trump, Elon, the team, they are looking into the kitchen and seeing all the creepy crawlies scurrying around on the ground and seeing the, you know, the, the rotted stuff in the meat locker. And. And they're saying, okay, it's going to get ugly for a second here. To fix this, you got to roll up your sleeves and get up your elbows in the muck to try to take this stuff to a better place. And this is important for us psychologically to understand this, because to really do it, you're going to have to be willing to take on some short term pain for long term gain. And when you have 25% of jobs coming from government jobs, which is just adding to the burden on the taxpayer, when you turn that around, the economy's used to a lot of jobs coming from government, you know, GDP growth. This is like one of the big arguments I used to have with the open borders, Cato Institute libertarian types. Well, the more illegals we have, the bigger our gdp. Yeah, but that doesn't mean that individually we're doing better. Quite the opposite, actually. If they are a net drain on the economy, and then that's not even taking into it the social, political, and cultural costs of unrestricted illegal immigration, which is what we had under Biden. But of course, there are going to be some things that happen here. That can feel a little bit disruptive. One of the big ones that I know people are concerned about is tariffs. This is cut four. Trump is saying, look, tariffs are going to work out phenomenally for us. Let's hear from the man himself. I think the tariffs are going to be the greatest thing we've ever done as a country. It's going to make our country rich again. We have many companies, as you know, auto companies are opening up plants now. We've had four or five announced already. But many more are coming. And we're basically going to take back the money, a lot of the money that we've given away over many decades. We've lost our jobs, we've lost, lost our factories. We've lost 90,000 factories since the beginning of NAFTA. It's not that long ago. 90,000 factories. Think of that. And we're going to get them back and they're coming back and they're coming back in record. This is where we start to see that Trump breaks with the economic consensus, really, with both parties, which is that tariffs are, are a, they say tariffs are tax. Tariffs are a bad thing. And I just take the, I take the perspective. First of all, most economists know nothing and are wrong about everything. It's just the truth. Ok. Most, you know, macroeconomics is true. Microeconomics is generally guesswork. If economists knew what was going to happen, they'd be the most valuable people at, you know, Goldman Sachs and at all these different. Forget about what the CEO says. Everyone should just be listening to the economists. Right. Economists are less reliable than weathermen when it comes to predictions. And when you look at the trade issues that we're talking about here, there are countries that, I mean, I know this went viral recently when it was pointed out that Canada says tariffs are terrible. You know, I know they got the new leadership coming in. Tariffs are terrible. Why are you doing tariffs to us? Why does Canada have a tariff on US dairy of 200% or something like that? Why do they have to. Why does China have all of these tariffs if it's so self defeating? Why do other countries do it to us if it's so obviously dumb? Why do they do it? And the people that say that Trump shouldn't do this, never answer that, really. Or they say they're just making mistakes. Hmm. It's a lot of other places to be making mistakes on this. And then you, you go beyond that, I think, and you say, what are the long term implications for this country of having more domestic industry, of having more things Here, what does an America First, America first economic development policy look like? It doesn't put all people on equal footing around the world. It's what's best for Americans. Right. So that doesn't necessarily look like what everybody else is going to like and want to do or want us to do. So with Trump, I know I said, Chef Ramsey, before, you know, Trump is in the kitchen, you got to let the guy cook. You got to let him do his thing. You got to let him get after a bit. Some of this is just going to be negotiation tactics. Some of this is going to be conversations that are had behind closed doors that come to some, you know, they said, oh my gosh, Trump is going to tear up nafta. I remember this. Trump is going to tear up nafta. What's he doing? People who understood the economic realities of nafta across the board, we're saying, which is very few people, I might add, not the politicians that talk about it, they know nothing. But they would say, of course NAFTA has to be renegotiated. It's been 20 years. Of course it needs to be changed. NAFTA came into existence initially, before there was really much of an Internet economy. Things have changed. Trump was right, the other side was wrong. Let's see how he does this. I think he has earned the ability to have the support of all people of goodwill in this country on some of these issues. I know some of them are going to hate him forever because look at the incredible changes he is already engaged in and look at the way that he has proven the detractors wrong time and time again. So a little bit of disruption, a little bit of the markets, that's just what the Democrats. Oh, let's talk about the Democrats and their opposition to this. In a second. They're going to start to hone in on this. A Trump is tearing everything apart. No, he's not. They just have nothing else to say. We'll get to it. So as I said, our stock markets are experiencing a little turbulence and investors can sometimes panic. And I don't want you to panic. I just want you to prepare, be smart, look at where things are going. And take the long term view that is always so key. The removal of BLM Plaza from Washington Washington, D.C. it is a great thing. It is dismantled. It is a I'll tell you this, I've got some friends in the D.C. in D.C. area. I got a lot of friends in D.C. actually and some of them are into the real estate markets there in different ways. And D.C. it seems is on an upswing right now. Things are moving in the right direction as they are getting rid of radical left policies and getting rid of the BLM mural that had been it's like a mural on the street essentially. It was two city blocks, two city blocks painted in 2020 and they are removing it. The mural spelling Black Lives Matter in bright yellow letters was at covered two blocks of 16th Street Northwest painted right away in June of 2020. Oh, right at the height of the panic. Oh my gosh, look there. One thing happened with one cop in, one career criminal in one place. And now the whole country has to be in a state of race. Panic is horrible. And I will tell you, I am very proud that at the time I did not get taken in by any of that nonsense, that it was a moment of mass mobilization through mass hysteria, that people were constantly lying about and undermining police, and that the policies that came from this, the policies that resulted from BLM made a lot more people die. It was a net negative across the board. In fact, it disproportionately caused the deaths by depolicing. Also called the Ferguson effect. Another BLM reference, right? Remember Ferguson, Missouri, Mike Brown, hands up, don't shoot a lie. He charged a cop after a strong armed robbery. He was asked, you know, by the police. There was an exchange with, with that officer. And the result was a fatal use of force, a justified fatal use of force there. And then neighborhoods burned down. And I think that's also where we got. It was an MSNBC guy. Maybe we could pull this up. Fiery, but mostly peaceful, right? It's fiery behind me, but mostly so they're burning down buildings. But there were people here hours ago, Democrats, Biden voters, who weren't lighting buildings on fire and looting them. And that was BLM 1.0, BLM 2.0, as we know, was involved Derek Chauvin and George Floyd. And this is. Now, I know this has become something that people are more focused in on. Some of my fellow conservative commentators have said that Trump should pardon Derek Chauvin. And to this I just say that would be justice, or rather that would be the just thing to do. But it wouldn't get him out of prison because of the state charges in Minnesota. And Minnesota has become a far left place, as you know, which is just a shame. Beautiful state, Little cold in the winter. Beautiful state, though, and far too left wing in its politics. But yes, did. Did Derek Chauvin. Was Derek Chauvin essentially a human sacrifice to the BLM mob? Yes, he was. I do not think he got a fair trial at all. I do not think that he committed murder at all. You can get into some of the specifics about police excessive force under the circumstances, but when you look at the toxicology reports, the guy had a fatal dose of fentanyl in his system and was having trouble breathing before there was any pressure applied to his, to his, you know, neck, shoulder, back area. And so here we are now able to speak honestly about this stuff in a way. I mean, I was speaking honestly about it then, but I mean, nationally, now the country is willing to look at this and say what exactly came from that, other than a lot of riots, a lot of destruction that improved anything for anyone? No, you had a massive spike. Let's not forget the. I think it was the biggest one year, year over year, increase in the homicide rate in the 50 or so years that the FBI had been compiling national homicide statistics. So that's the legacy of blm, is a lot more people getting killed. And with a lot more people getting killed because of the deep policing, because law enforcement is undermined from doing their jobs. Because, as we know, one of the big problems the left has is they apply a disparate impact, which is also a legal philosophy that I think should be completely upended, dismembered and annihilated because it's wrong, it's unethical, but it is something that people still use in legal theory. Disparate impact is, even if a law isn't on its face, racist, sexist, whatever, if it has results that we don't like, as in who breaks that law and gets prosecuted, there must be something wrong with the law or there must be something inherently wrong in the system that's doing the prosecutions. This is just not true. This is faulty logic. And as I've made the argument, and Clay has now adopted this argument with, with, with success, we talk about this on the show. If you look at the disparate impact of murder laws on men and women, far more men commit murder than women. We don't say we need more women serving time for murder because that's what justice looks like. No, guys, we have more testosterone. We cause more violent crime by a 10 to 1 factor, essentially. So BLM looks at different neighborhoods, different cities, and says, well, the police interactions with minority groups, predominantly black and Latino males aged, you know, 16 to 35 or 16 to 40, police have a disparate impact on those communities. Therefore there must be racist policing. That's just. The data doesn't actually support that. The data doesn't support that cops are racist. It supports that our police are overwhelmingly doing a very good job and America's police are something to be proud of. But BLM undermined that dramatically because it made some people on the left, some Democrats, feel good about themselves. You'll notice there's a trend here. There's the world as it is, and then there's the world as Democrats Wish it to be. And that's true in Ukraine as well, is straightforward good and bad. Even if the moral good and bad thing about Russia Ukraine is true, where does that get us for stopping the carnage and stopping the conflict and not getting drawn into a military conflict with a country that has thousands of nuclear weapons and millions and millions more men than it could. I think Russia has 6 or 7 million military age males they could throw into this conflict and they will if they have to. And we though are told, oh, but it's about good and evil. And Zelensky and he hangs out with the celebrities. Same thing about law enforcement. We know what works and what doesn't work. But Democrats like to pretend that the problem of violence in this country is not a problem of disproportionate violence within minority communities committed by minority men against other minority men, which is the unassailable factual truth. They said the problem of violence is police violence. The problem of violence is racist systemic violence against black men of a certain age at the hands of the system. And that's just not true. Right. I mean this is where the Washington Post started collecting data on, started collecting data on how many non. I'm trying to make sure that I get the specifics of it right. But how many black men are killed in America by law enforcement, unarmed black men killed by law enforcement in the country in any given year. And the numbers which you ask liberals this, they think it's thousands and in some years the number is more like 15 or 30. And yes, every life lost that shouldn't be lost, which is an important asterisk, meaning that you know is unjust. That's a tragedy. But just unarmed doesn't mean not a threat. Unarmed could be a guy trying to choke you out and grab your service revolver as a cop and you wrestle out of his hand and you realize if you don't shoot him, he's going to shoot you. That's an unarmed situation. Right. So that doesn't mean. But the liberals, the Democrats created this alternate universe to live in with this and the removal of BLM Plaza. I mean the Black Lives Matter movement made everything worse for everyone in this country and it was full of corruption. I mean the people that actually ran the movement as we know it was corporate corruption and self dealing and buying houses for themselves, the whole thing. And it was a shakedown of corporations too. Oh, we need to give, we need to give more money to BLM or else we're racist. Right? The whole thing, it's all. They did nothing to help Anybody, nothing to help their communities, nothing to help black Americans, nothing. It was all narrative. It was all the way. The Democrats want to see the country instead of seeing what's going on for what it is and taking actions that will help people. And that then brings me to so what can be done in a place like D.C. for example, which has had far too much crime per capita in recent years, a lot of carjackings going on in D.C. if you want to make these places better, safer, you enforce the law and you have enough police with enough support to enforce the law. That's really it. It's very straightforward. In fact, it is so straightforward that you're starting to see and hear some Democrats come forward and go, you know what? Maybe waiting until the 50th arrest of some individual who's terrorizing their fellow human beings on the streets of New York or D.C. or Chicago or LA or wherever, Atlanta, Seattle, San Francisco, go down the list. Maybe the laws are enforced and the laws matter, irrespective of whatever the social justice organizations pretend is going on. Maybe that could make things better. You know who started to, started to lean into this already? Andrew Cuomo. He sees it, he understands. And this is, I think that, by the way, I know that this is you're talking New York mayor's race. We have a huge audience on worNYC and we thank all of you as always for listening. And you always have a special place in my heart, especially as I was broadcasting to all of you during the pandemic. But this is a national level story because you're starting to see whether it's Newsom or Cuomo, these Democrats, they, they don't think of themselves. They think of themselves as not a governor or a would be mayor. They think of themselves as the vying for the leadership of the national Democrat Party. Believe it or not, Gavin Newsom, they view themselves as historic figures in all of this. People that will affect the future of the nation and with it the world. And if that sounds grandiose to you, good, because these guys are egomaniacs and this is how they view themselves. But you're starting to see whether it was Newsom talking about the trans ideology stuff or now Cuomo looking into the police in New York and what can be done there, they are going to forget about what was said in the past to some degree and they're going to start making moves towards sanity not because they have converted, but because they are trying to fool, to fool the voters. We will, we will dive into that here in just, just a moment. Over the weekend, President Trump's hostage envoy Adam Bowler had direct talks with Hamas and said the group proposed a 5 to 10 year truce with Israel. I was about to say Sean Parnell, but our good friend Sean had to go and help clean up and fix the Pentagon. So he's, he's. Who'd you say? Lisa Booth. Lisa Booth of FOX News. The fabulous Lisa Booth. I thought you're telling me something about Sean at the Pentagon. I was like, what? He's defeated the communists already? He's coming back? I wish. He's got, he's got his hands full over there. But we've got a great podcast network. The talkback feature, though, a lot of you are really enjoying it. It's like leaving us a voicemail, but you do it through the app. So you just press that little microphone and we got a Minneapolis listener, Taylor, using the Talkback bb. Hit it. Hey, Buck Taylor in Minneapolis. Here you're talking about the burning buildings in Minneapolis. Yep. Still looks the same here. Downtown's a ghost town. Got the same mayor who did not resign, just like none of them ever do. And of course, your favorite governor, Mr. Walls. It would be fascinating. I Got to tell you, I don't really know. There are some states where I could run through the history of what happened to them politically off the top of my head. Obviously, New York, and in more recent years, Florida. I live in Florida now. I'm a South Florida guy. Highly recommended for any of you. If you're a little cold and a little sick of the Communists. It's warm down. It's warm. And the freedom flows down here in Florida. But there's California. I could go through the political history of California, you know, not. There's always levels, right? I mean, there's people that all they do is follow what's going on in Sacramento or all they do is following follow what's going on in Albany. No, but I mean, the overall trends and transformations of these places, right? California, illegal immigration. And then things got crazy. Then you got it in Minnesota. And I just. As a New Yorker growing up, I always just thought of Minnesota as a place with beautiful outdoors and really nice people. And now a lot of Communists running around, you know. Well, what happened? What happened? But in downtown Minneapolis, I haven't been in a few. In a few years. Happy to go to Minneapolis in July, but haven't been in a few years. And apparently it's in really bad shape still, which is just shameful. Think about that. When you think about really what the. I gave you some of the numbers before on crime, but you talk about the legacy of BLM as a movement, and the legacy is one literally of ashes in some places, a legacy of destruction. And yeah, it's a shame. And yet I think overall Trump's win, I think a lot of stuff was part of it. You know, there's so many things you're talking about a massive. A seismic election, so many different things. But I believe that we had finally come to grips enough as a country with the failures of not just blm, but the Democrat Party's really exploitative embrace for political reasons of blm. Well, I guess they're really one of the same. It's a symbiotic, right. The Democrat Party and blm. It's a symbiotic entity between the two. I think also the COVID madness. Finally people. More people realized, you know, a lot of us knew early, but now that we see what's gone on here, you don't even hear about COVID anymore. Occasionally you'll see people walking around with masks on still, which is crazy town, but that I think this is all part of Trump's win. And then there's the border that's right. The border I'm making I'm making a turn here from Minneapolis down south because I'm not worried about the Minnesota border. The southern border, though, far more of an issue. And you may have seen some of the recent commentary and media focus on a new member of Congress, Congresswoman Crockett. And I was we have had to point out, no, no affiliation with Crockett coffee, which is about Davy Crockett. But Congresswoman Crockett is getting a lot of attention. She said she was the one who last week See, this is why this is one, one moment Red. Say Clay. Clay will just say it. I'm a little, a little sheepish about it. But she called Trump Putin's bleep, let's put it that way. Putin said something very, very not nice. Not a nice thing she said about Trump was not nice, not respectful. And now we see that she is also somebody who is deeply, as a lawmaker, as a person whose job, at least in theory, at least as we are told her job is to be involved in the forging of laws. So one would think that she would have a basic familiarity with the federal laws that matter. There's a lot of them, but with federal laws that matter. But if you thought that Congressman Crockett wants you to know that you are wrong. She has no idea. Here she is talking about the law as it pertains to a legal entry into the United States. Play a. It is not a criminal violation to enter the country illegally. It's not a criminal. It's crime. It's not a crime, which is why they're so frustrated, because they really want our local law enforcement to go out and round up people when they could be looking out for the murderers and the sexual abusers as well as the robbers. They want them to go and round people up on civil accusations. It is a crime to enter the United States illegally. It is, in fact, a crime that Biden chose to have a as a function of policy from the executive branch. Not to detain people is really just ignoring what the statute. The statutes are your if you cross illegally, you have, you have committed a crime and you are to be detained. But now all of a sudden, it's about law enforcement focusing on other things. Why is it the Democrats are so in favor of illegals? Is it. Think about this for a moment. What is it about those who come into the country in violation of our laws that appeals to Democrats so much? I think there are a number of things. One of them is that there are a lot of Democrats who recognize that the dependency that illegals, despite what they say they're doing, the jobs Americans won't do, lies. Well out of context, I should say in that phrase. Some of them don't do much of anything in terms of jobs. Illegals who come into the country, they are entirely or largely supported by the state. But they know that the more dependents they bring into the country who perhaps don't speak any English or very little English, have no education in any language, no skills for any, you know, that could be used in any market, marketplace, that they're going to need a large bureaucracy and a lot of taxpayer dollars to assist them. And which party wants that? The Democrats. And which party thinks that if they bring in enough illegals over a long enough period of time, who will have that dependency but also be weighted for purposes of congressional apportionment and will have children here and their children will be citizens and the citizen children. Now I know that's being challenged in the court, but technically right now, in this case for decades they are citizens. That may change, we'll see. But it would only change going forward. I don't think it would be retroactive. But then nobody wants to believe that mom and dad were here illegally. So they're not actually American. So the citizen children are going to be voting Democrat when they get old enough. And eventually they believe the weight of these illegals will be such in the electorate that when they do get a mass amnesty, which is one of the biggest mistakes that Ronald Reagan ever made, he went with an Amnesty back in 86, I believe it was huge error that that amnesty will result in effectively a one party rule and a dramatic political shift in the country not just for election cycles, but decades, perhaps even a century or so. Right? That's the plan. That is the plan. And there is also a sense among Democrats, they're very vocal about this, that because so that there is a. They want the third world to come into this country. We owe it to the rest of the world as Americans. I'm speaking from the Democrat mindset because we exploit the world with our capitalism and our Americanness. We should take as many non Americans in as possible illegally, without they don't even have to respect our laws. We deserve the disrespect of our laws. This is what Democrats think and they also think that a country that is more diverse, and by that they mean Democrats mean less white, will be a country that is more socially just going forward. This is. These Democrats have been very clear about this for a long time and this is their purpose with illegal immigration. Because otherwise you'd sit there and say it's a violation of law. I thought we all agree that laws matter in this country, right? I thought the law is supposed to be the law is the law. Quite simply. No, not when it comes to this issue. On this issue, it is up for whatever one decides, whatever one thinks the law is a suggestion, it's not actually binding. And this is where we're going to see things really heat up. Because it's one thing to stop more people from coming into the country at the border, a very good thing. And Trump has done that. That's one thing. It's another thing when you are going to start and assuming they do this and they have told us they will, dramatically increasing deportations from the interior. Not just of the worst of the worst. Trenda Aragua gang members and Ms. 13 hitmen and all of that. Not just them, but other people who are on the list, other people for lesser crimes, other people who just aren't supposed to be here. That's when things are really going to be tested. And I think that's where Democrats think they will make their their main stand against Trump and against the Republican Party. A lot of nonprofits are out there and some of them do great work. But there's only one that I know of that is dedicated to saving the lives of unborn children day in and day out, and that's Preborn. This organization opens and operates clinics in communities nationwide where abortion rates are highest per capita. They do that so they can welcome and interact with pregnant women who are deciding between life or abortion for their unborn child. They've been at this for 20 years and have saved 300,000 plus lives to date. The team working at Preborn use your valuable donations, welcoming women who are pregnant and who are making that decision that can never be undone. By introducing these women to the life growing inside them, they are twice as likely to choose life. And they do that with the gift of an ultrasound because you see, hearing the heartbeat changes everything. So when you make a donation to Preborn, that's what your gift provides. $28 a month is the cost of an ultrasound. And that could be the difference between the life and death of so many babies right now and going forward. To donate securely dial 250. We have Democrats diving into a rough day in the markets trying to blame Donald Trump. Not a surprise there. Anything that goes wrong and goes wrong is even too strong. Anything that isn't awesome, always Trump's fault. That is what they will tell us. That's because they don't have an agenda to speak of. Or at least one that they want to speak of right now. Given how things are trending for Democrats. This is oh boy, we got a lot of this Shifty Adam schiff. This is cut 13. He's out there telling everybody Trump is destroying the economy. Play it. I was just listening to your guest precede me trying to explain that these tariffs, these on again, off again. Tariffs are not about trade. It's a drug war. And then but next month it's a trade war. But now it's a drug war. It was incomprehensible. And he was also trying to say that numbers, job numbers that came in less than expected are somehow good news. They're destroying the economy and they're making it harder and harder for Americans to afford things. That's where we need to keep the focus. What does absolutely disgraceful Adam Schiff know about the economy, really? Does he know more about markets and trade than Donald Trump? This is really fascinating. Does he really think he understands the marketplace better than the billionaire global media mogul, real estate entrepreneur who has become president for a second time? I just. With the entire machine arrayed against him, does he really think he knows more? Isn't that just an incredible amount of hubris for a truly oleaginous and shifty nasty little fellow in Mr. Schiff? Yes, he is. He thinks he knows more. He thinks he knows better. Or he just hates Trump, of course, because he couldn't throw him in prison. So now he'll continue with the same line of anti Trumpism that he has engaged in up to this point. Over at msnbc, they got the, they got the memo, apparently from the dnc. For whoever's watching, not that anybody really is. This is cut 14. Oh my gosh, there could be a recession. Play 14. I think what you're hearing from Trump is what we're also hearing from a lot of economists. Right? There could be a recession over the next 12 months. Right. By the definition of it, consumer confidence is down. All of those things are true. And tariffs aren't going great. He is finally, kind of, in a way that he never has before, being really honest about the impact that some of this may have. Right. When he told the farmers, there may be a little bit of pain, that's probably as much as we're going to get out of him. Just a recognition that it's going to be much more difficult for folks before it gets better, if it does. Actually, that's, that's pretty, pretty accurate in that Trump has been saying it and people talking about recession. Well, you know, not really. The recession is very straightforward. We know 2/4 of negative GDP growth. So that's it. We have a functioning definition, which was the definition until there was that under Biden. But remember, they lied about the jobs numbers. They spent all this government money, meaning money by the government, on government to seem like there are more jobs and to expand the economy through just expenditure, which is really debt. Debt used to make it. Imagine if you were like, hey, I'm not bringing in as much money as I need to for my household these days, so I'm just gonna max out all my credit cards. But look at all the spending that I've been doing. Isn't that great? No, that's bad. It's bad. Uh, don't do that. So this is where we are with the economy. Here is for a little bit of sanity on this stuff. Sanity check. Secretary of Commerce Lutnick cut 12. He's just saying, look, it's gonna be a process, but we know where we're going, we know what we're doing, and the A team is in charge. Play it. The deal starts April 2. The deal starts April 2 of reciprocal tariffs. The President's gonna negotiate country by country. He's gonna drive down other countries barriers, unleashing our farmers, our ranchers and our fishermen. They're going to explode in value. And the prices of American produce grow crops. Produce and fish are going to come down because our American industries are going to win around the world because finally, finally Donald Trump is behind them, protecting them. He's got their back and he's going to make them winners and that all of America is going to be winners because these prices are coming down. And the process starts April 2nd. So he's saying, notice reciprocal tariffs. Reciprocal tariffs. This is very important. And I think that the Trump administration's moves when it came to China are a good indicator of how things are going to play out here. Initially, when Trump was taking actions against China. And remember, part of it is just the negotiation saying, hey, if you don't do X, we're going to do. Yeah, if you don't play ball here, we're gonna do something that you don't really want us to do. Right. That's, that's what negotiation is, isn't it? You give me this, I give you that. You don't give me that, I give you this, whatever. But on China we were told, oh, it's gonna lead to a trade war with China. And that forced a conversation. I'm talking about term one now, 2016 to 2020 or 2017 to 2020, that forced a, a conversation which was, hold on a second. If it's so self defeating to have any of these trade barriers in place, why does China have so many of them? And okay, let's just take, for the purposes of conversation, let's take it as established that tariffs, and I don't take it as established, but just for purpose of conversation, let's assume that tariffs are something that countries do that help some within the country, but at the expense of the whole. So that they are taken as a whole self defeating. Even though there clearly are some beneficiaries. Right. We know that, everyone knows that there are some beneficiaries to tariffs. But then it's, oh, there's a repricing and industry's less competitive. And I know the whole, I know the whole economic theory behind it. Why should China do this to us? And we just sit there and take it? But why does that make any sense? Why not get them to drop some of their tariffs by saying, look, if you don't do this, we're going to do that? That seems to make sense, doesn't it? He's talking about reciprocal. That was Lutnick, Secretary of Commerce, talking about reciprocal tariffs. And this is even the case, as I mentioned, with Canada, which has a lot of tariffs against the United States for our trade. And so this is where I think there's going to be a lot of hemming and hawing about what Trump is doing. But let's see first what actually happens here. And I do also think it's very important that there be enough time given to some of this. Trump has been in office two months, not even. Right. I'm trying to do the math in my head right now. It'll be two months soon. It hasn't been two months yet. And already we've seen a lot of very smart decisions with very smart people in place. And I would also note they'll call Elon Musk dumb. So they don't really care about reality at all, do they? The Democrats will attack the people who are clearly the most capable, you know, the most capable in the areas of restructuring, you know, corporate streamlining, building industry, just being really smart. There are a lot of really smart people around Trump right now, Trump being one of them. But there are a lot of really smart people around him that I don't think any serious person could argue are not high. These people are not highly capable, very good at what they do. I mean, Elon is the most perfect example of this. He is the most incredible entrepreneur and corporate visionary of the era, period, full stop. There are others who are very, very good. But Elon is in a class by himself. He is the guy and he is donating a lot of his time to the government to help the government stop lighting money on fire and doing dumb things and lacking accountability and lacking transparency. And they call him a dumb billionaire. The Democrats are saying this stuff. This is just appealing to the emotions of people who are incapable of self correction, who are incapable of taking on new data, new information and coming to conclusions based on that. They are emo, like I say, they are emotionally dug in and will not, will not move. And all they want to be told is that they're right, that they're smart. They're good. And everything else can be ignored. So all these changes that are being made right now on the things that we see that are going on with the economy, specifically, ignore the haters. There is a strategy behind this, and the strategy looks at the realities of what has been going on. Now. There's also just going to be fun stuff, like watching somebody who has been so damaging to a lot of things, but to the children of America specifically, I think she's. I think is Randy Weingarten, aft. It's one of these big teachers unions. Teachers unions should be abolished. Let me just put that out there. Public schools should not have. There should be no union, no bargaining agreement for public schools. Sorry. The district, the state should set the. Set the parameters. Hey, here's the job take. There should be no public sector unions for teachers, but huge source of funding and votes for Democrats nationally. Huge. So we have to deal with this. It is really a cartel. There's actually a very good movie called the Cartel. I forgot the guy who made it about the teachers unions in New Jersey. It's outrageous. Outrageous, man. This was made like, I think 15 or 20 years ago, but it is a cartel. And Randy Weingarten is one of the padrones, or no, whatever. The Feminine of Padrona. I don't know, the, you know, the head of the cartel, whatever you call the head of the cartel. Cartel leader. There you go. Randy Weingarten, Chief Commissar. I like that better. Chief Commissar of the Teachers Union Politburo. And she is very upset over on MSNBC because Trump's gonna try to get rid of the Department of Education. Plane 9 is why so many people are so mad about it, because they're just taking opportunity away from kids that don't have it. So billionaires, Kids of billionaires, they have it. They go to private schools. Everyone else, 90% go to public schools. Don't take away their opportunity. So let's stay on the facts. Sorry, I'm really angry about this. No, because this is really angry. I'm really angry. Notice how she immediately goes to the kids of billionaires. I think there are a thousand billionaires in the entire country. Am I, by the way, am I right on that one? I think it's something like that. It's maybe less than a thousand, but there aren't that many billionaires. But she immediately goes. Plays the class warfare card like the lazy commissar she is. Immediately goes to the children of billionaires. Oh, I don't know. How about the Department of Education doesn't even fund public education. The Department of Education is just a slush fund and a policy shop for left wing radicals who want to indoctrinate kids and use the education system as not only an indoctrination system, but also for votes and for the Democrat party to have the power base that it does, especially in cities where the teachers union, you can't get elected in a lot of these cities if the teachers union is against you, which is outrageous. And a public school system, as we know, gets more expensive all the time. Does not improve results. Does not improve results. So. And Randy Weingarten, I have no sympathy. I have nothing but professionally contempt for her as somebody who wanted to make sure that a lot of teachers who by the teachers aren't in their 70s. The teachers in the public school system are in their late 20s, 30s, 40s. They, they all wanted paid vacations to stay home and pretend they're doing zoom learning during COVID So Weingarten made sure that Biden kept the schools closed. You remember that kids could suffer. Oh, she cares so much about the kids. Right? That's the big game that they play. You spend any time around anybody who's at the top of these teachers unions, you hear them, it's all a game to them. It's all about making sure that adults are who are teaching. Right. And when I say teaching, I actually should say who work for the school system because the administrative ranks of the public school system in this country have grown something like 6 to 1 in the last 20 years versus the teachers ranks. So they're just hiring all these people to coordinate among other people whose jobs are to coordinate among the people who are teaching the kids. Just larding up the payroll with as many, you know. Well, what do you even do? I mean, how many vice principals can one school district use? Apparently a lot. All making 200, 300 grand depends on what you're talking about. What do they do? So that's what she's there to make sure that your tax dollars keep getting funneled to these programs that don't improve ever and that make sure that kids don't have choice, make sure that parents don't have any other options. You have to go to the school assigned by the commissars and you have to just do whatever the comrades tell you or else. And Trump says we're going to shake things up. They should, they should eliminate the Department of Education and they should salt the earth once they've brought down the edifice where it currently stands it has been nothing but downside when you look at the history of this of this entity. So hope, here's hoping this coming Wednesday before the show, join me and my dad online for a special videotaped interview. Buck begins by highlighting positive indicators of America's recovery and resilience. Despite some market volatility, there are underlying signs of progress both socially and economically.

Buck Sexton [00:05:30]:
"There are signs of America healing and improving, even as the markets face some turbulence."
A significant topic of discussion is the dismantling of the BLM Plaza near the White House, which had been a prominent feature for over four years. Buck views this move as a positive shift away from divisive social movements that he believes have had negative societal impacts.
Key Points:
Notable Quote:
Buck Sexton [00:14:30]:
"The legacy of BLM is a lot more people getting killed, and with a lot more people getting killed because of deep policing, because law enforcement is undermined from doing their jobs."
Buck discusses Andrew Cuomo's run for mayor in New York, emphasizing his shift towards a more centrist Democratic stance. This repositioning is seen as a strategic move to broaden his appeal and potentially set the stage for a presidential bid.
Key Points:
Notable Quote:
Buck Sexton [00:17:15]:
"Cuomo is starting to carve out the 'reasonable Democrat' lane because he thinks there's an opportunity to become the mayor on his way to running for president."
A substantial portion of the episode focuses on former President Donald Trump's initiatives to reform the IRS and reduce bureaucratic overreach. Buck criticizes the Biden administration for expanding the IRS workforce and argues that Trump is reclaiming national sovereignty by curbing government excesses.

Notable Quote:
Buck Sexton [00:25:45]:
"This is part of the national sovereignty reclamation underway. We're reclaiming our right to say that bureaucrats do not rule over us—they are supposed to serve the public."
Buck defends the implementation of tariffs under the Trump administration as a necessary measure to protect American industries and reverse the losses from previous trade agreements like NAFTA. He challenges mainstream economists and highlights the reciprocal nature of these tariffs.

Buck Sexton [00:40:15]:
"Tariffs are not about trade. It's a drug war, and then next month it's a trade war or a drug war."
Buck provides a critical analysis of the BLM movement, arguing that it has exacerbated violence and eroded trust in law enforcement. He disputes the notion of systemic racism within policing, presenting statistics to support his claims.
Key Points:
Notable Quote:
Buck Sexton [00:55:30]:
"When you look at the disparate impact of murder laws on men and women, far more men commit murder than women. We don't say we need more women serving time for murder because that's what justice looks like."
Buck critiques the Democratic Party's approach to illegal immigration, suggesting it is a deliberate strategy to increase dependency on government and alter electoral demographics. He posits that Democrats aim to expand the bureaucratic workforce and secure future Democratic votes through citizenship.
Key Points:
Notable Quote:
Buck Sexton [1:15:30]:
"Democrats think that the dependency illegals bring into the country will justify a large bureaucracy and that their children will become Democratic voters when they come of age."
Buck condemns teachers unions, labeling them as a cartel that inflates administrative roles without improving educational outcomes. He argues that the Department of Education serves as a tool for left-wing agendas and calls for its elimination to restore parental choice and public school effectiveness.
Key Points:
Notable Quote:
Buck Sexton [1:35:00]:
"Teachers unions should be abolished. Public schools should not have any bargaining agreements. The state should set the parameters."
Buck addresses current economic disruptions, including concerns about a potential recession spurred by tariff policies and perceived economic mismanagement by Democrats. He advocates for long-term investment strategies, such as purchasing gold, to safeguard financial stability during uncertain times.

Buck wraps up the episode by emphasizing the ongoing efforts to dismantle Democratic policies he views as overreaching. He underscores the importance of staying informed, maintaining proactive investment strategies, and remaining resilient in the face of political and economic challenges.
Notable Quote:
Buck Sexton [2:05:30]:
"Ignore the haters. There is a strategy behind this, and it looks at the realities of what has been going on."
Host Promotions: Buck briefly mentions upcoming events, such as a special interview with his father on March 12, highlighting his father’s expertise in market predictions.
Listener Engagement: Buck acknowledges listener contributions and interactions, fostering a sense of community among the audience.
In this episode, Buck Sexton delivers a comprehensive analysis of current political and economic landscapes, focusing on the dismantling of BLM symbols, strategic political maneuvers by Democrats, Trump's regulatory reforms, and critical perspectives on immigration and education policies.
