This is an iHeart podcast. Guaranteed human, an unchecked trump that we all love. The Dems once again refused to stand for anything that a normal person would. An American badassery at its finest. This year's State of the Union review today on the David Rutherford Show. What's up, everybody? Welcome back to the show. I'm your host, Instructor Rut, coming to you in the beautiful studio South Florida. Boy, I tell you what, Jordy, this week has been absolutely bonkers once again in news, which is what I love. That's why I do the show. That's why you're with me. I think that's why everybody tunes in, is because, uh, we're all trying to wrap our minds around the magnitude of content and, and. And just all around craziness that's taken. Taken place across the world, across the United States, across everywhere. Uh, and, and that was what Jordy and I stated mission was to try and contextualize all this to be the flashbang of truth for you, uh, to disrupt you a little bit, like, shake your. Your senses a little bit by a little dropping that flashbang in your ears or on your TV screen. And, and by the way, if you're digging us, don't forget to, like, comment, subscribe, share, follow all those things that we need you to do in order to keep driving us up the food chain. Get us in the algorithm so that we can reach more people with the David Rutherford Show. All right, so let's. Let's jump right in. First off, Jordy, did you watch the State of the Union? Bud?
B
I watched the whole thing.
A
Of course you did. I love it. I love it. And. And do you feel this way?
B
I feel like it's like a. Like a patriotic thing to do. Like, regardless of president. There's a few things as an American citizen where you're like, I need to do this. Like, to me, you should probably go vote. Sometimes you don't love your options, but, hey, you should probably.
A
But not if you're illegal. But not. We don't want you to vote if you're illegal. All right? So don't show your id.
B
No matter what you do, you don't need to show your id. Leave it at home. Yeah, but other than that, the other thing, I feel like. I've always felt like you need watch the State of the Union.
A
I agree. I agree. From when I was a little kid, the old man would be like, son, get in here. You're gonna watch this. And, man, I. I mean, the first president I remember watching was Reagan for sure. You know, because he was so debonair. Right? He was, so, he was start with. Yeah, he was so clever with his words. You know, he'd been an actor in Hollywood and he just had a, a charisma about him. And I, and I think that's the allure also with Trump, you know, that he's, he's not, he's not necessarily debonair, but there's a, there's a, there's a infectious. It's almost like you're sitting there waiting for Trump to emerge, like real Trump. Like you're waiting for, yeah, you're, you're, like you're waiting on baited breath for him to drop the hammer, as he did multiple times in this one. You know, that's the great thing we got to see the, the Trump that we all love to see. Right. Although if you're on the other side, you hate it and you're sitting there. God, he's so disgusting. He's a.
B
No, they still think he's funny. They still think he's funny.
A
Maybe. I mean, I mean, I know I do. Even the people I, I, I'm around and I'm around, you know, very supposedly sophisticated people on a regular basis and the commentary is like, we're literally just waiting for the next bomb he drops on the Democrats in it. Right. And that's what keeps us going. Like it, entertainment, right? To have, to have President Trump in there and just delivering this, this epic rant or the epic descriptions and then to just drop bombs on the, the Democrats. Right. It was awesome. And I think, you know, we got the unchecked Trump. We, we definitely saw the, the petty ridiculousness of partisan politics in particular issues where the Dems didn't stand up at all. And then for me, the, the, the pivotal aspect of this year's speech was, you know, the fact that Trump really put on display American badassery. And so we'll talk about all this. So, you know, obviously he starts back, you know, the nation is back. We're, we're better, we're stronger, we're richer, we're more impressive. You know, he goes through his laundry list of, of what he's doing in terms of economic improvements, you know, in terms of the stock market being at an all time high again. You know, I, I, I work in that industry a little bit and, and you know, I, I, I am a fan of, of, of people's returns doing well, but I also realize that there's a lot of volatility going on. Right. When you look at how many short positions there are in the world. It's a staggering, unbelievable number. It's like $300 trillion. It just, it doesn't make any sense. You look at certain things that have taken place with GameStops, MMT, TLP, you know, where the SEC has stopped trading on these smaller stocks. You look at the volatility of bitcoin going from what, 120 down to 63, I think was the lowest. And everybody's like, see, bitcoin does this. And, you know, a lot of people are like, well, it crashes because people come in and manipulate the market to make it crash. I mean, this.
B
For the OG bitcoiners out there listening, this is boring. You know, you know this, right? Like, this is just another day in bitcoin.
A
Oh, for sure, for sure. And, and, and, and then the other aspect of it is like, if you dig in and you go beneath the surface of, of the economy and you look at the housing market is really getting sketchy right now, in particular in Florida. You look at, you know, the president's coming out. We. I will no longer let private equity buy up single family homes. Yeah, well, that's got to be a bill presented to Congress. I haven't seen that bill get in there. And, and, you know, and plus, these are a lot of the people that will fund his campaigns. These are the people he's dealing with in these major, you know, issues or challenges. He certainly has friends at Blackstone and blackrock and all this, and people are responsible for this. So, you know, there's some of this that you have to take with a grain of salt, for sure. Obviously, the border shutdown was an impeccable thing. I mean, that's the one thing. If I were to give Trump an A plus, you know, 100%, it'd be shutting down that border. There is nothing that's been more impactful on our nation shutting down the border. Now, on the flip side of that, you know, we have, what, 20, 30, 40, who knows? I mean, I've heard some people quote 60 million illegals in the country right now. Hell, there was just a guy out in California who was the head of a superintendent of a school who's apparently been in the country for 40 years illegally. He's the head of a soup. He's a superintendent, and just magically $74 million is unaccounted for within the school district. So, you know, you combine that with the other aspects of all the other corruption that I'll get into a minute, a minute, and, and then you mix it in with the, the reaction to the ICE stuff going on in Minnesota, where two civilians, you know, one of them, I was like, yeah, absolutely. The car was definitely. But the other one, I was like, they probably could have detained that guy without shooting him, you know, and ends up, you know, having to quell and move away from that whole thing. But we still have a metric ton of dangerous illegal people that are in the court in the country who need to be evicted as soon as possible. You know, and so I think his, his laundry list, you know, the, the one other one that I think really kind of impacted me the most with him, you know, based on his State of the Union last year, was like, I'm shutting down all the wars. Now. He likes to prevest. He shut down eight wars, you know, Thailand and Cambodia. I don't know about that, but certainly, I mean, Pakistan and India. Was that really going to turn into a major nuclear war? I don't believe so. You know, they've been skirmishing with each other for years. We did a show on it. Were they going to launch nuclear weapons at each other? No, but again, the fact that diplomacy is back, I give, I give a lot of credit for that, it seems. But the big one that, you know, we all. He promised us was, I'm going to shut down the Ukrainian war my first week in office. And what we've come to realize is his ability to control that is way beyond his means. Right. You know, he cannot. He's not determining what Russia does whatsoever, and he certainly doesn't seem to have any control on Zelinsky whatsoever, whatsoever. Like NATO in the European Union does. And even if you looked at some of the recent comments by Zelensky, because he's not in the press anymore, so he's. Is, you know, his short little cocaine butt is getting pissed off and he wants to get back into the highlights. So he's saying crazy shit again, you know, so, you know, I. That's the one we want, right? That's the one we need. That would really turn that dial for nuclear, you know, destruction. That would turn that dial down pretty substantially. So, again, yes, there are. I. I think America has definitely reestablished itself as much more than just a regional player, but as a significant influence on the global hegemony of power. I definitely agree with all of that. All right. You know, what really I loved is we got into this and you start seeing some of the petty stuff. There was the, the Democratic congressman who, who held up the sign and says, you know, black people are not Apes or whatever that was. And you know, he got kicked out. And you know, I, I, I guess that's one form of, of doing it. But man, you know, it's like, hey, there's different ways you can call this stuff out. But again, you know, we're dealing with, you know, and I, and, and both sides, I mean, I saw one person say, how dare the Democrats shout down. Republicans would never do that. And then they posted a clip of, of the past where you had Derek Van Order and a team guy shouting down. You've had MTG shouting. You know, there's been plenty on both sides that have devolved into. Actually, I'm going to take that back. It's never been cordial. Right. I mean, that's what we, I, I think we've all fallen for so much propaganda in our lives that we imagine that in the halls of Congress or whatever. And I think some of that has to do with all the stories we've heard behind closed doors. They all go and drink and party together and, you know, do whatever together. Wink, wink, nod, nod, sniff, sniff. You know, I think they all, you know, they're all. The uni party is a real thing in a lot of this is pro forma where they're trying to, you know, adhere to their constituencies. But, you know, it's like, come on, man, you know, rep, you know, have a little bit of a class, I guess. But when you got the president up there dropping bombs on people, you know, I guess it would be kind of tough to maintain that. All right, the, the banger for me, right, that started this thing out, which really sucked me in. I don't know if it did for you, Jordy, but when he announced the United States Men's Olympic hockey team and they came out on the upper deck, right, and there's the Hughes brothers and his missing teeth, and then there's, you know, the, the, the, the goalie Hollaback, who, if you haven't seen this, he's got this great video out there online where he explains the bass fish that was on his helmet. And he goes through this whole thing of why he loves bass fishing. And it's really an interesting idea, right? I'm a person that has been studying human performance and trying to live it, you know, at the high levels for 30 plus years of my life. And I just was blown away that a guy could so clearly articulate, like, I sharpen my abilities in the net by my commitment to, to fishing and what that does for me and how it is the hunting, the rod Choice, the equipment, the, The. The technique of. Of casting and pulling that fish in. Right. The battle between me and the fish. And I, I just thought it was so fascinating that his hobby, like any great, you know, focused obsession of an elite performer, you know, every aspect of their life, enhances their ability to perform in their. In their main task or job, if you will. And I thought that was cool. But my favorite aspect was when Trump said, and by the way, we're going to give him the Presidential Medal of Honor, right? And I was. Or Medal of Freedom. And I was like, oh, my God, that's so badass. And then I was like, oh, wait, Ellen DeGeneres got that. Oh, wait. Oh, wait, Robert De Niro got that. Oh, oh, oh, wait. The two ladies from Fulton county who we saw running the election. The, the, the. The. The ballots multiple times through the thing, they won that thing. So I'm like, maybe we could start a new. They did give him this cool plaque when he. Pete Hegseth gave him. Right. The Minister of Defense or whatever. It was the part. He gave him this cool plaque that he had with him. And I thought that was cool. Let's try and give him a different medal. I think be canned if. If it were me. But they've kind of degraded the value of it. All right. So I thought that was an awesome. I. You know, both, Both sides actually stood up for that, although there were some Dems who stayed seated during that. But that was a real moment. And Trump even had the. The wherewithal because of all the stupid crap on the net by about shafting or the. The women's hockey team. And there was a story that they weren't going to go and all this. And you know, he's even like, we want to acknowledge the women's team. They're coming to the White House too. So that was just a real poignant moment. That redefine or what is it that re. Instill. Right. It's not reinstils are. Are that reinforces the fact that national sports bring us together. Right? And that sport itself, as it relates to the Olympic teams are such a positive aspect for the peoples of a country, whatever country. And, and quite frankly, when we have fair competition and not the little Canadian hurling guy pushing the thing forward with his finger. You cheat and bastard you. Right? That's probably why Canada was so sour in the, in the final game of the hockey, because they knew they were cheaters. Just kidding. All my Canadian brothers. I love you. Right, Sly? I love you, buddy. So, you know, I think that moment is a powerful moment that, that can unite us. So you know, potentially I think hopefully the World cup can do that for us. You know, although if you look at Guadalajara where I guess apparently some FIFA events are going to take place, we might want to check ourselves down in Guadalajara with the cartels. But, oh well. So I thought that was a great way to get us going and really level up that American badassery. Right. All right. The next big thing for me that was freaking awesome was when he said we need to put forth a bill in an act to where Congress cannot conduct an insider trading. Right. And clapping went on. And you had some damn stand up. And I think Elizabeth Warren stood up, which is, is funny. But then like the, the comment of the night in terms of dings from the President was when he asked, hey, did, did Nancy Pelosi stand up or is she here? Did she stand up? Oh my God, that was the hammer of Thor coming down on that woman. And if you're not familiar, right. I think everybody is. You know, there's an actual page on Twitter on X called Nancy Pelosi Tracker that tracks her, her trades. And like last year she had like a 67, 6, some 60% win streak on her trades. Right. Obviously insider trading. And again, it's not just Nancy. I mean, there's allegedly Dan Crenshaw. I need to say that before I, you know, Dan sends me a letter too, although I'm so small it won't mean anything to him. You know, there's other Republicans, I mean, there's a guy and whose last name is Rutherford, who's always on the list. I think he's in Florida or someplace. And you know, so everybody's doing it. It's just, you know, it sucks. And I thought it was, it's, it's a good idea. But again, how are you going to do that? Is Congress going to pass a law against themselves from becoming millionaires? Doesn't make sense. They're just not going to do this. So, you know, you always got to be careful to watch the, the rhetoric that gets you going. And Trump is a master of that. He really is phenomenal at doing that. He baits you with the emotion, gets you fired up, cracks a joke. And what I love is, you know, Rogan and all those guys, they basically have called, you know, Trump a stand up comic. When he gets in that flow state, he's just ripping them. And, and I think that's what the entertainment, although when you take a step back and go, God, this is the President of the United States just bashing everybody. But again, you take a step back and you look how hard he's been bashed, starting with the treasonous Russia gate, which is treason, by the way. I think if it happened to you, you'd be pretty pissed too, and you'd start bashing around, throwing that, that hammer down as well. So that was great. The other one was when he called out Ilhan Omar and that they were going to address the Somali corruption in Minnesota. That a tune of what, $19 billion.
B
He was, he said the Somali pirates in Minnesota. I died laughing when he said that.
A
And you know, and there's true, like if there's been a couple people online have traced that back to post Mogadishu when that influx began. Right. As a result of Mogadishu. I guess Bill Clinton felt sorry for what had happened in Mogadishu and started bringing them in. But the reality is, is that fraud is out of control. $19 billion of taxpayer money is going to fund these people who are basically sending the money, ripping us off and then funding the campaigns of the people who continue to give them the illegal money. So, you know, then he announced that J.D. vance was going to be the head of corrupture, the czar of corruption. This czar. I, I love how we, they always talk like czar this, czar that, czar. This
B
wasn't Kamala Harris, the border czar.
A
Oh, dude, that was my favorite one of all time.
B
Yeah, dude, she nailed it.
A
And she's like, I've been to the border. I, I know, I, I know the border. I've been to the border. She goes and then she's like, I, I, I've, I've been to Ukraine, I've been to other board, you know. And you're like, what the, yeah, she's still, she's still pulling pretty high to run for the presidency. And my favorite one are, Please. My favorite one are the, the AI memes of her tag team on that. It would be the greatest thing ever.
B
You think they'd win
A
if we lose the House in the Senate? Yeah, I think there's a possibility they could win a real chance because, because then they'll, then none of the, none of the anti election fraud will get brought up. And we're running out of time. I mean, primary start here soon. We're running out of time for that. That's what all the guys that I've been interviewing have said. Right. Like we're running out of time for this.
B
Right.
A
All right, so J.D. vance and what he do today Was awesome. Immediately announced they are withholding $259.5 million from Minnesota. Now you want to see the rats start scurrying, you withhold money. That's the way this whole system works, right? If you want to know where the rats are, you stop the flow of food, you stop the flow of the money. And then you see what starts happening. People start reacting. I believe that's what's going on down in. In Mexico. You've. You've completely stopped their business model. Human trafficking, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, all that stuff. And what's happening now, you're getting, you know, gunfights in the streets and all this. And America said, hey, you know, we're. We're going to do this. And now all of a sudden, we're working in conjunction with their special operations, our intel. So that's interesting.
B
Didn't. Didn't Eric Prince say a similar or suggest something similar with the deportations? He's like, hey, why don't you just require banks or something to prove your citizenship, to open a bank account, or employers to report this or that, or else they get some kind of big fine. I'm like, that really is going to the root of the issue.
A
It's not a bad idea a hundred percent. Well, you got to remember, also, too many of these economies would collapse if Amer, if illegal, stop sending money back into their economies. Oh, yeah, that's the kicker to this whole thing. That's why nobody wants to stop it, because they've increased their GDPs by fraudulent money being or under the table cash or whatever it is being sent back home. So that. That's a big resistance. Right? Then my. Another one, he asked the. The entire group, he goes, is it not our duty to first represent the American population ahead of anybody else? Obviously, the Dems would not do that. Why? Because if they lose this voting bloc, they will never win again. Let's listen to it. If you agree with this statement, then stand up and show your support. The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens.
B
Oof.
A
None of them. None of them. And that's. That's just proof positive. Like, if. If you can't say that and, and he's baiting. Everybody knows he's baiting them and all that. Man, if I was a Democrat, I'd stand up for everything. Just applaud, man. Yeah, man, Love that. Love it. Just, I would totally, like, mess with him. Like, I'd start like, Fetterman. Fetterman is the perfect example of A guy who's playing the psyop better than everybody else. Even wore a suit to the thing last night. I was like, holy Jesus Christ. You know, he went to the Big and Tall store. He got buy one, get two free for that. He's got three suits, you know, one is a tux from, like, Dumb and Dumber. The other is like a Carhartt suit or something. And then he's got one, you know, Joseph, a bank suit that he wears. So, you know, I, I, that's the guy in the side. That's the psyop guy, for sure. He went on to also talk about no tax on tips, right? No tax on overtime, Social Security deductions, car loan interest stuff. Green new scam regulations cut lowering costs to cars by 1 to 2000. Child tax credit expansion to 2200. The 1776. And so it was 1775. And I said, why not add one more cent? Let's make it 17. I should stop it. I butcher the attempt on that. I'm so sorry.
B
That's a classic Trump story, though, I saw.
A
Yeah, it's like the epitome of Trumpisms, right? It's so hilarious. So. So, you know, I thought, that's cool. But again, how's it going to work? You know, is it a protected can? They draw down from it, like, other investments and other, you know, the, the pension funds? And so it's like, all right, is it just one more scam that I'm going to let the government manage my harder derms? Like, I might get some of my Social Security, but chances are no, Jordan, you ain't getting shit, man.
B
Dude, I got nothing.
A
Dude, it's like, you ain't getting none of that back, right?
B
Actually, you know, it's funny, so I'm 32, but I actually think about this. I don't. I think this is a shared feeling amongst other people around my age generation. This is crazy, because I'm an American. Who's saying this? I'm an American citizen who actually has this thought. I don't expect to have any Social Security. I'm already planning for that.
A
That's the conditioning, too. That's the conditioning. Hey, you will pay into our pyramid scheme. But guess what? It's not going to be available for you. No, hey, hey, don't. Don't worry about Epstein. Like, don't worry about him manipulating all this shit. Working with the Central Intelligence, other agencies, blackmailing child pedophilia, manipulating markets, secret 911 commission. Don't worry about any of that.
B
Right? The dow is over 50,000.
A
The Dow is over 50,000, man. You got that?
B
Come on.
A
Come on, man. He did do a little tariffs bit there, and they did a little scan. By the way, there were only four Supreme Court justices in the crowd that night. I'd love to know where the refs were. They did scan on Barrett, and, you know, it's now 100% obvious that she's repulsed by Trump. I mean, they just screen her face and she's got that like, like, like she's puking in her mouth a little bit, right? She can smell him. Like, his words come out, maybe spits on her a little bit when he's going, when he's free flying, when he's weaving, right? She's just like, oh, you know, she's repulsed. And dude, can we give a shout
B
out to the Cameramen at the 20, 26 State of the Union? First of all, I would have loved that job, but you could tell they were like Gen Z dudes who were just trolling the whole time. The entire time he's talking about Somali pirates. Immediately the camera's on Ilhan Omar. She's like,
A
in Ray.
B
Just. Yeah, just. Just fuming, dude. Just seething, seething.
A
Well, that's what it's. That's what it's becoming, right? Gen Z, you guys are going to work. And we. Probably not quite Gen Z. I'm not
B
Gen Z, but I respect them.
A
Now. You're the lower end of the millennials, right? But. But you're having an influence on them. And because you're, You're a master at, at delivering narratives in a short, succinct way that works, that catches someone's eye. And like you say, like, think about. Their entire perception of. Of all things has been through the. The lens of memes. And so that's all it means. It's. Everything's a meme, right? Everything.
B
They're also nihilistic, and they're just like, let's just make this funny, you know, because that's the whole point of it. So the State of the Union just making. Just cracking jokes with the camera shots.
A
It's crazy. Totally. I love it. All right, all right, so that was good. All right, next. And, and, and there were some very powerful, heavy moments in the audience. And, and the one that really got me the most is when they talked about. Yes, they did. The woman with the IVF, and she was able to save 30 $500 on our IVF. I thought that was cool. There was some kids out there that they talked about Drug prices and education stuff that were phenomenal. There was the one little girl who had been in the accident with her dad. That was a very special moment. They got up with her and showed that the Dems didn't stand for no, no. But this was the one that was the one that crushed me because we covered it before. And that was when they had Anya Zarutska, Irina Zarudska's mother. On where Trump promised justice for, for her right and again promising justice. What does that look like? Is that automatic capital murder, capital punishment for these heinous unprovoked crimes. And what it does for me is, you know, you see this, this the distraught nature of this woman and her and her husband and they lost their beautiful daughter on a bus to a career criminal who had been let out multiple times. And the, and Trump promises reform on this. But again how are you going to get like people that are, are actively supporting lesser impact? I mean the guy was let out 17, 18 times, whatever it was. How are you going to get them to vote on this type of, of intense punishment to be delivered to these horrific crimes? All you got to do is just every week there' another judge, there's another prosecutor who please down reduces sentences. They got people get out for brutal murdering and they get on, on parole after 10 years and a light like a 40 year sentence. I mean it's madness. And that goes back to the justice system. So you know that really for me is a pivotal part of what I'd like to see this coming year is a real assault on these rogue justices and, and das. You know, I think there needs to be is equal funding for real hardcore constitutional attorneys to run in all these D A races around in these contested areas for sure. But again you doesn't mean anything until we get the election fraud out. All right now the American badassery. All right. There were four moments for me aside from the, the medal of the hockey team, right. And there were four direct circumstances dealing with United States military service members and, and obviously as a service member myself serving for eight years in the SEAL teams, you know, working for the government at Blackwater and then serving four years at the Central Intelligence Agency. You might imagine that I am a die hard patriot and believe in our service men and women and intel men and women at a high degree. Yes they have problems in many different areas. But you know the people that are on the ground do fighting the fights, you know they are what you hope they are, right? They are true American patriots and they should be treated as such. And that's what President Trump did. And he did so in a way that had never been done before in the history of the State of union, which I found remarkable. And that was to award, to give awards to the people that were there. Now the, you know, the big ones that started out was to recognize the two National Guardsmen that were shot on, on Thanksgiving Day November 27, 2027. 25. U.S. air Force Staff Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolf, right, and U.S. army Specialist Sarah Beckstrom who was 20 years old. He was, I forget how old Andrew Wolf was. He was a little bit older, but Sarah Becktram was fatally shot in the head and then Andrew Wolf, Sergeant Andrew Wilf survived a gunshot wound to the head, underwent surgery and been his recovery and rehabilitation the whole time. You know, this was a terrorist attack from a guy from Afghanistan, a terrorist monster as Trump said. His name was Raha Mula Lakanawa, an Afghan national who faces charges for first degree. You know, then he announced Purple Heart mass medals. One post most, I can never say that correctly. Post humiliously to posthumously. Posthumously. Thank you, I really appreciate it. I apologize. Anybody's received medals in that state posthumously. I have friends that have gotten medals that way. Many, you know, a Specialist Becktrom, her parents were there, Eva, Leah and Gary Beckstrom. And then Staff sergeant was there with his mother. And these people of course got standing ovations and people on, on the left I think stood up as well too. They were awarded purple Hearts and then, and the president then had a Major General James Stewart present an award to Staff Sergeant Wolf which was very powerful moment indeed. You know, and this was something I think was critical because it really benefits the, the National Guardman out there. They believe they're valued what they're doing on the streets and, and Washington D.C. is way safer than it's ever been. The greatest drop in, in, in massive violent crime in history there because these, these, these young kids are on the street protecting us. All right, phenomenal. Then the next two, he presented two congressional medal of honors. Now this was unbelievable. One he presented to retired captain E. Royce Williams, a u. S. Navy veteran, 100 year old Korean war veteran who also served in World War II and Vietnam. Right. He was awarded for extraordinary valor and classified aerial dogfight on November 18th, 1952 over the Sea of Japan flying an F9 F5 Panther from the USS Oriskani and single handedly engaged seven Soviet MiG 15 jets in combat and shot a bunch down. Now this had been classified for decades. You know, he had previously been awarded the Navy Cross and Then upgraded the recognition came 75 years later. And I loved it that the first lady, Melania Trump awarded this little old guy, man, you know, a true American badass. I mean, like, that dude is hard. Flew in three wars, man. You want to talk about hard as woodpecker lips. That dude's it. He's the definition of what we should support in this country.
B
There's almost nothing harder than those dog fights too. That's some of the most badass stuff you'll ever see in your life.
A
Are you kidding me? Like, the pilots that I knew, like the. The control. The learn what they can do in these planes and it's. It was really a pivotal moment in. In. In. In war fighting was once you had the fighter, you know, be able to get out there. And I mean it's air power changed the course of warfare and still has to this day. And that's why, you know, our. Our. The advancement drum. All right. The other one was the only way you could describe Chief Warrant Officer 5 Eric SL. Slover is freaking Superman, right? Yes. Dude looks like Superman. He is Superman. He is a badass. Can you bring up his. The. The. The medals he has already won? I. I think it was like 2 dist. Distinguished flying Crosses. He had multiple bronze stars with valor.
B
He had his name again.
A
Slover. S L O V E R. Right. And he was a. He's a helicopter pilot for TF160. But more importantly, he was the lead helicopter pilot in the Venezuela raid.
B
Oh.
A
And I'm telling you, when he came in, when they were approaching, he was leading them in to drop the Delta operators off to go take down Maduro, to go snatch Maduro, when he took enemy fire underneath his plane, anti aircraft that ripped through his legs and was still able to get his guys in the fight and on the ground. Think about it.
B
Unbelievable. So the personal decorations he's gotten are Medal of Honor, Distinguished Flying Cross with V device for Valor, Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal and Army Achievement Medal.
A
And how many deployments does it said how many deployments he's been on yet as well too?
B
Can't tell. I can look it up.
A
All right. Yeah, just see if we can find it. Dude's been in for a long time. When you're a CW5, that means you've been around a long time. He former enlisted, probably was so good at his craft. Then he became a flight guy, you know, and he. And he was wearing a Delta patch on his arm. Did you see that too? I saw That I wonder if he was a Delta operator that switched over to become a pilot. I, I think we'll find that out.
B
It's not, it's not publicly known.
A
Yeah, his, his, his, his operational career is still classified for sure.
B
You see how jacked he was too. He had some picture like in his like body building.
A
Oh yeah, yeah. So the dude yoked, holding like this military decorum, his chest out, his wife in red, her cross on her shoulder on her chest, her heart beating, the crowd going nuts for this American badass hero. And, and that's what we are. You know, the representation of who we really are exists within our heroes in the United States military, in particular our special operations. Although I, I after now interviewing a bunch of grand south there, everybody has the potential to be a hero. Right. Everybody can do great things. And I think that's such a powerful commentary that just being a part of an organization like that sets you up for success when the time and opportunity comes. Right. If you're able to do so in that environment. And I. Courage isn't a rank now, man. And I can tell you from, from personal experience, man, it's scary as hell out there and takes a lot of, a lot of calm and focus and, and just being able to do what they ask you to do is, is a herculean effort on many different situations. And he, that guy, that warrant officer is the best of the best of the best. You know, I've, I did a bunch of missions with TF160 pilots. There was one where we were getting picked up on a recon where the guy literally put the back gate on a, you know, it was like 2,000foot drop next to us. We were on this mountain doing this recon and we like hopped off this mountain onto the back and a guy just hovered it and I was just like, dude, these guys are the best. The best. And so, you know, many props to Chief Warrant Officer Slover, his wife, his family, his unit. I mean, love you. TF160 guys are, are by far the true heroes of our military. In particular, for me and the G wat, I think any of my buddies at any unit that's out there who worked with you would say the same things. But also our National Guard, man, you guys are heroes as well too. So, you know, that, that really kind of was the pinnacle of the night for me. Again, to reiterate, you know, Trump has, is a year in and you know, he had some real definitive highs. There's some lows for sure. I think it'll be fascinating to see what comes next. Certainly we know just tomorrow will be some crazy headline the ramp. Maybe Iran pops tomorrow. Maybe there's another a crash on Wall Street. Whatever is is going to face us. I just want you to be reassured there's a lot of people in this country that we can root for, that we can praise and promote, that can inspire you. And that the true state of the union is that the overwhelming majority of people in this country are trying to do the right thing, trying to push the ball forward and trying to represent the very best of what our country represents. Hoo yah man. All right, Jordy buddy, thank you so much. Glad to see you're doing better. Back on the horse again. Back in the game. Enjoyed the show.
