Welcome everybody to the Monday edition of the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. Much to discuss over the weekend. Mr. Clay, I hope you are tanned, ready and rested. Well, you know, you're not in Florida, you're Nashville. So I don't know, you can probably.
Unknown
I'll be in Atlanta this afternoon for the All Star Game festivities. We'll have some fun talking about that, but I was here all weekend hanging out with the boys, just having a good time. What about you?
Clay Travis
Yeah, same man. Just catching up on some of the things going on on the interwebs right now. Some pretty intense conversations that are happening involving many of our friends from the news and commentary side of things. So we can discuss some of that. Also. There is now reporting that Donald Trump is going to be escalating the support that we give to Ukraine imminently to include offensive weapons and Patriot missile systems. Trump is, is ticked off, you could put it, put it that way. He is ticked off at the games that Vladimir Putin has been playing. He says that Putin is very nice on the phone calls but then is doing terrible things at night. And some fascinating reporting coming out about what modern drone warfare Clay looks like. We have entered the phase now where this, this is it is here. It is no longer something that is theoretical and we can discuss some of that. I think it's a fascinating change in how nation state level combat is going to be engaged going forward. Biden and the auto pen. I have a feeling Clay is excited about this one. Biden and the auto pen in the New York Times over the weekend. A little more cleanup on aisle Biden going on there. The headline not really, not really matching up with some of the story. And then there's some continued discussion, a little bit going on out there about transparency and the DOJ and Epstein and the Case and all of the above. So with all of this in mind, Clay, I didn't know we have. Also Governor Brian Kemp of Georgia. Right. Will be with us today. Yes. Talking about all the things Georgia. Also the, the All Star, the baseball. All Star game. I do not think I could name. I do not think I could name a baseball player in the All Star Game right now. The Japanese fellow. That's. That's right, The Japanese fellow. I could name him. That's it. So I'm pro. Ohtani is my guy because he's the only one that I know. And, and with that, Clay, I've laid out the menu. I was going to let you order for where we dive in first here because there's, there's so much to work through, so much to discuss.
Unknown
To me, first of all, there was a lot of stuff going on over the weekend, and we're going to hit it all. But to me, the story dropping Sunday night in the New York Times with Joe Biden surrounding the auto pin and the pardons, it was a, as I was reading it, I was like, oh, man, this is a really big story. And I don't know how many people have recognized it yet, but let me just give you a couple of details that, to me, give an indication of how big this story could become. I didn't realize this, but Joe Biden didn't do an interview with the New York Times for his entire presidency. I mean, again, if you were wondering about what they thought about his cognitive ability, whatever you want to say about the New York Times, yes, they are oftentimes communist, but the people that they employ are not morons as writers. These people are fairly intelligent. And, and the fact that they hid Biden from them for his entire tenure, even though the New York Times would have been in many ways propaganda for the Biden regime. Remember, I would say one of the most consequential articles the New York Times published on the front page was Biden saying that he was upset with Merrick Garland's pace and he wanted to see more charges brought against Trump. That's basically using the New York Times to be the method by which you give your message. While then you can say, oh, I never tell my attorney general what to say or what to do. Well, you just did in the New York Times. Like, he's gonna read that. He's gonna see it. So the fact that he never did an actual interview is remarkable. And then I read the interview excerpts, Buck. Oh, my goodness. And I would encourage, I shared these. We need to link it at Clay and Buck. I would encourage all of you to go read the interview excerpts from Biden trying to explain how they use the auto pin for all these pardons. That's point one, point two, the article itself, it is devastating to the Biden administration, even from the New York Times. It makes me feel that there is a full fledged panic inside of the Biden team. And I would add on more steam here, if you are listening and you are investigating this. Joe Biden had no idea who was being pardoned. They used the auto pin. Even in the quotes that he gave, he basically indicates that he didn't really know who was getting pardons. They were late night pardons. The people that Biden supposedly instructed to give the pardons didn't even hear it themselves. A third party called up the auto pin people and said, hey, Biden said this is okay. And then they signed thousands of pardons. This is a huge holy crap moment for me. Again, I understand the auto pin has been used before, but when you read this article, the New York Times wrote the fact that they gave Biden an interview with them, there is, I think, a full fledged panic over potential criminality relating to the way these pardons went down.
Clay Travis
No one's going to prison for this. You really think, you really think there's going to be charges? I mean, come on, really? Over pardons based on the Bidens?
Unknown
I think that the part.
Clay Travis
He's a vegetable. We know he's a vegetable. They were running the government without him. But you think people are worried about going to jail over this?
Unknown
I think they're worried about being called to testify because it is quite clear, I think even based on this New York Times article, that Biden had no idea who was getting pardoned.
Clay Travis
Well, the New York Times article is supposed to make it seem like it wasn't that, that it wasn't that bad. I mean, you look at the headline, right? The headline of it is that Biden says that he was aware, right? I mean, it's Biden says he made the clemency decisions that were recorded with auto pen. So Biden says that. But then what you're citing is the details of the actual reporting. Seems like Biden wasn't really aware, but it's going to be enough.
Unknown
They wouldn't have put him. Here's my thought, Buck, and I'm curious if you would sign. I think putting him on a call with the New York Times for the first time in five years is a sign that internally they're starting to panic about this. And they wanted Biden. You know, first of all, putting Biden on the call is a sign of desperation. And the fact that you go read these quotes, it actually, to me, in many ways, even though the headline doesn't suggest it, in many ways it actually is worse for them than if they had just said, oh, this is all crazy, like Biden, Biden was involved. The fact that they went through these details actually shows you that he wasn't really very involved.
Clay Travis
Well, that's what I mean. They're, they're trying to give you the, the headline doesn't really match the conclusion you would have from the actual reporting in the piece. So they want people, what they're doing is they're putting forward a story to make it seem like this has been dealt with and then they want you to come away with a conclusion that's not really an evidence by the facts presented. Right. This is a, it's, it's really a pretty effective or a tried and true propaganda technique. But I don't think, look, I could be wrong on this one, but I don't think that anyone is worried about criminal charge. I think there's a lot of embarrassment here for people that worked around Biden. I think their careers are probably finished. But what would the charge, you'd have to think the charge would be like defrauding the American people of their representatives of representative democracy or something. I mean, what, or you know, of their republic.
Unknown
The fact that everybody has taken the Fifth and that they're not lying. Again, I understand some people are going to say what somebody out there I think may have flipped. This is my thought and somebody is going to be a canary and sing on all the COVID up. Just sometimes you have to look behind. Why would he take the Fifth now?
Clay Travis
Bureaucracy, man, they're all going to point fingers. They're going to say I did a little part of this and he did a little part of that. When I knew a little bit of this.
Unknown
Dr. Take the fifth.
Clay Travis
Well, it's easy for the doctor to take the fifth because he can just say, I can't speak about this.
Unknown
No, he could have just said, hey, under hipaa, I can't talk about all this. He, he was specifically taking the Fifth when he was asked if anyone told him basically to be involved in a conspiracy about Joe Biden's overall health. I just look at all these signs. They tried to run to the New York Times to try to put this auto pin thing to bed and instead I think it has blown up and turned into a bigger story. Now Your point, and this is the larger context that I think everybody out there is so frustrated about. Across the board we have all these people doing all these illegal things. Right. Put it in whatever category you want.
Clay Travis
From and nobody ever gets in trouble.
Unknown
Nobody ever gets all the way through the entire Biden team and there are never any, there's no accounts for any. Right.
Clay Travis
Well, this is why I don't want everyone getting excited that like Biden's top advisors are going to prison. I'm here to tell you they're not. Okay, so just, just so everyone's clear, like maybe they're a little bit nervous, but that's not going to, we don't want to over promise and under deliver. And with that in mind, Clay, with that in mind, I do think we should note the Trump truth from over the weekend on the Epstein situation. Do we want to get into this? I think we have to get into.
Unknown
This a little bit because Trump lead us off. Yes, the Epstein people are still fired up and they were very unhappy at Trump. He got ratioed for the first time ever on his Truth Social post with the comments that he put out.
Clay Travis
It looks like no one's going anywhere. Just to be clear, it looks like there's no resignations imminent from anyone in the FBI or the doj. Bondi, Bongino, Cash, Patel. No one's going anywhere. That is the latest reporting, that is the latest storyline. And here's Donald Trump himself writing on his truth. What's going on with my boys and in some cases gals, they're all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi who's doing a fantastic job. We're one team MAGA and I don't like what's happening. We have a perfect administration, the talk of the world and selfish people are trying to hurt it all over over a guy who never dies. Epstein for years, it's Epstein over and over. Why are we giving publicity to files written by Obama, crooked Hillary, Comey Brennan and the losers and criminals of the Biden administration who con the world with Russia, Russia, Russia hoax, 51 intelligence agents, the laptop from hell, and more. They created the Epstein files just like they created the fake Hillary Clinton Christopher Steele dossier they used on me. And now my so called friends are playing right into their hands. Why didn't these radical left lunatics release the Epstein files? Sorry guys, this is a long. It's a long truth. If there was anything in there that could have hurt maga, why didn't they use it? They haven't even given up on jfk. Or MLK files. No matter how much success we have, et cetera, et cetera, a lot about success. We're saving our country, making America great again. The left is imploding. Cash Patel on the FBI must be focused on voter fraud, Political Corruption act, sorry, Act Blue, the stolen election of 2020 and not on the inspired documents on Jeffrey Epstein. Let Pam Bondi do her job. She's great. Thank you. Let's keep it that way and not waste time and energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about. Thank you for your attention in this matter. Donald J. Trump, your president, that's what he wrote over the weekend. So, you know, just, just sharing with you what he wrote. So looks like there's no, all that stuff about I'll resign if someone else doesn't resign. Doesn't look like that's happening. So no one's resigning. And I think that the plan right now is talk about trade deals or something. I don't know. This is. Am I missing something? No, that seems to be the plan.
Unknown
I think Trump has let you know that he has got Cash Patel, Dan Bongino and Pam Bondi's back, that he doesn't want any of them gone and that he likes the team that he has put together and he thinks the Epstein entire story is a, is a distraction from things that he thinks are far more significant that fair characterization of what he said over the weekend.
Clay Travis
And so, you know, I've, we've been trying to thread this needle of what is true. What we don't know. We know the known unknowns, the unknown unknowns, where we are on this one. And I don't know, I, I'm happy that at least there is robust conversation going on within the movement. How about there's a robust discussion that is happening on the issue, But I can't, I don't have power. You don't have power to do anything about these files. That's the correct. I don't have them. You don't have them? I haven't seen them. You haven't seen them. We think people should see them if they're there. If the people who have them say they aren't there, what are we going to do about it? This is where we are left with things, no doubt.
Unknown
And we'll take some calls. People may feel strongly about this. Some people might. I think there'll be a few. A couple.
Clay Travis
Yeah.
Unknown
Trump is basically saying, hey, this is a distraction. There's a lot of other things that I want to focus on and we'll take some calls. We'll react to that. Again, the governor of Georgia, I think this is significant culturally. Remember Joe Biden said, hey, the state of Georgia put in place Jim Eagle laws and they pulled the All Star game out of Atlanta over this. And the governor of Georgia has really, he's fired up about this. I think you're going to enjoy what Brian Kemp has to say on this front. At the top of the next hour, we'll take your calls. We'll break down all this and more. Travis Buck Sexton show. We're breaking down all of the big weekend news. One of the things that was said we talked about Friday show Dan Bongino not going to work. Storming out over anger associated with Attorney General Pam Bondi and the communication surrounding the Epstein related investigations. This is Trump talking about his conversation with Dan Bongino yesterday. Let's listen.
Clay Travis
Mr. President, is Dan Bongino still your deputy FBI director? Have you spoken with me?
Unknown
I did.
Clay Travis
I spoke spoke to him today. Dan Bongino, very good guy. I've known him a long time. I've done his show many, many times and he sounded terrific. Actually no, I think he's in good shape.
Unknown
So it sounds like we'll find out again. We'll update you as we learn more. It sounds like the team is basically staying together and Trump is saying hey, and maybe we need to talk about this a bit more. Trump is saying hey, there's nothing here. Roger Stone talked over the weekend. Buck, maybe we can play this I just sent it into the team. Roger Stone, obviously very connected. I don't know if we have time. Let's play this. Roger Stone says, hey, I think all the docs got destroyed.
Clay Travis
Listen, when Cash Patel, our FBI director, tells us that there are no records, even though we know and we saw with our own eyes that DVDs and hard drives were taken from Epstein's home in both New York, his ranch in New Mexico and his island, he's telling us the truth. That's because I believe that evidence was destroyed by Christopher Wray and the Biden Justice Department.
Unknown
Okay, so we'll talk about this when we come back. I think that's an interesting theory. They're telling you the truth. There is nothing here. What do you do if that is true? We'll talk about it when we come back. In the meantime, prize picks makes watching live sports much more fun. Download it. Today Major League Baseball Home Run Derby. Always really fun to watch. So I would like to spend some time today with all of you talking about how to avoid getting deeper and deeper into Ukraine and the possibility of Russian nuclear exchange, which we have been worried about for a long time. And I think there's some concern to be had here. I also want to talk about immigration and the raids and what's going on with that and particularly what it says that you have Democrats opposing law enforcement being able to shield their identities during these raids and what that says about our society. But I will lay this out first because Clay and I keep talking about will not surprise any of you, I think, to know that every phone call, rather every line is currently lit and everyone wants to talk to us more about Epstein and that our inbox is currently flooded with more conversation or more thoughts about Epstein. And here's where I am on this. We're going to continue to follow this as as we can as there are new developments right now. Here's where we stand or here's where the situation stands. It does not look like there will be any senior level firing or resignation from the Department of Justice. Keep in mind the FBI director is actually a subordinate employee to the Attorney General. I think people lost that a little bit in this conversation. So there is a chain of command issue here. And technically Dan Bongino is as deputy, obviously a subordinate employee to the FBI director as well. So there is a chain of command. And it's not like the FBI director can say, hey, I want to fire the Attorney General. This is purely a presidential prerogative of President Trump. President Trump put out that long. I didn't even read the whole thing to you because we're going to run into a commercial break a long truth over the weekend. And he's saying he loves the people who are in charge of this so far. You know, he loves them as people. I'm not saying he loves everything that they've done, but he backs them 100% and it's time to move on to more important things. Things. I think that's going to be an unsatisfactory answer to a lot of people and I understand why that is an unsatisfactory response to a lot of people. The challenge we have right now is I don't have. I don't know how to clay advance this story beyond things we've already said here, which is I still believe, and I've said this from day one, and I said this the moment the memo was released publicly that Epstein was involved in blackmail operations. I still believe that there is the possibility that Epstein had not just contact, but perhaps even was acting as an agent of. Keep in mind, Clay, this sounds like a minor distinction, but I don't think it is. When someone says, for example, they're a CIA agent, that's usually a huge tell that they have no idea what they're talking about. Because if you work for the CIA, you are a CIA officer. But if you are working on behalf of than you are an agent of, Right? So this is in spy talk. When someone is your agent, they are actually working to bring you information, espionage, etc. So when someone says that he may be an agent of. I mean, it's one thing to say that Epstein was an employee of a foreign intelligence organization. It would Be, which would be an officer of. It's another thing to say he was an agent of meaning he had contact with, was feeding information to, was perhaps involved in a blackmail scheme, whatever it may be. Right. So that is an important distinction because that is how intel agencies all around the world work. There's you are an employee of and there is, you are working on behalf of. Not the same thing. Espionage is all based upon that officer agent relationship, no matter where you are. So that's, that's one part of this. So I still believe that's possible. The challenge we have right now is there's information that I haven't seen that Clay hasn't seen.
Unknown
We were told it would be.
Clay Travis
And I promise you I want to, I want to get into some of the news of the day stuff here in a second, but I just want us to be very clear. And Clay, I'm going to hand this to you to make sure that I didn't misrepresent or leave anything out. The challenge here is I haven't seen what the FBI fully has. And the doj, it's really doj. We shouldn't say what the DOJ has. Clay hasn't seen it. We have no access to it. The people who do say that there is nothing that should be released additionally right now that is in the public interest. Now do we believe Clay, or do people believe that Trump, Patel, Bongino and Bondi are lying about this? That's really. I don't know where else we are. You know, we can either say that we think these people are honest and, and there is a degree of public faith in them. Even though there have been PR screw ups on this, which they're. I think there was overpromising of the transparency. There's no question. But at this point it's who, who is. Who is lying about this is what I want to know. Who, who is the one who is lying? I won't say because I don't know and I don't believe that any of these people are specifically in a position where they should be accused of being the one who is not honest in this. I mean, because obviously the stakes are very high and that's what I see. What am I missing or how do you see it?
Unknown
I would say that in the Trump base there have been three issues where I would say people have gotten really in disagreement. Right. Like Democrats right now attack Trump for trying to deport people. Most Trump voters want everybody to be deported.
Clay Travis
It's like they're doing advertisements for Trump every time they're like, look at all these illegals being deported. Like, yes.
Unknown
More.
Clay Travis
Yes.
Unknown
So I think that is something where most of you out there would say, yeah, we agree with this. Okay, so there's a wide spectrum of political belief. Some people are big rfk Maha mom listeners right now. Right. There is actually a big tent, I would say, in my experience. I'm curious if you would sign off on this. The biggest discrepancy that I have seen, and I know you. You felt this even in the Republican Party, even in Trump supporters in the early days when you and I were like, open up everything. Like, we've got to get back. We can't shut down for Covid. People were mad at us inside even of the Trump tent. Right. There were a lot of people out there that were like, you're crazy. Remember Tucker Carlson back in the day, got in a car, drove to Mar a Lago, and convinced Trump to shut down the whole country?
Clay Travis
Like, which was a horrible decision, but it was made in good faith. But it was a very bad decision. Yes.
Unknown
I think Trump was wrong on Covid, March, April, May of 2020. And I've said that for a long time. And then I think he worked his way towards opening the country back up. I think he listened to Fauci Burke's reason why I'm going back in time is it was incredibly contentious to say what you said. I remember when you were like, hey, we need to open everything up by Easter, and everybody called you Thanos, Right? They said you wanted half of people all day.
Clay Travis
That was. That was the line I got. I got ratioed harder for wanting the country to be back open, normal by Easter than I've ever been online in my entire life. Yes.
Unknown
That is what happened when I was.
Clay Travis
And I was. I was right, by the way, and I should have tripled and quadrupled down, but I was, like, overwhelmed by the swarm, by the hive mind.
Unknown
When I said, hey, we got to play sports. We got to open schools back up. We got to play football. On my sports show, I mean, I was attacked like never before. And frankly, I think the vast majority of people, including many Trump supporters, thought that I was crazy and a moron and couldn't believe that was the argument I was going to make. The reason why I'm using this as a backdrop is there was a wide variety of opinions and a lot of people disagreed with what you and I said then. DeSantis versus Trump. DeSantis versus Trump. Now everybody forgets about it, but on this show, it was nasty. If we said anything positive about DeSantis as a governor. Some of the Trump people were angry. If we said anything positive about Trump, Some of the desantis people were angry in the mentions. It was nasty. Now they're best buds, they're hugging everybody's back to being which we told everybody.
Clay Travis
What happened, by the way, and we were getting scoffed at then, but that is where it went.
Unknown
Where I would say now is the Epstein stuff is nasty and I mean the reaction to it. Right. So I think ultimately this comes down to one big question. Okay. Either you believe and I put up a poll question on this and I think it was like 70, 30. I'm just going to be transparent. I don't know that that's reflective of this audience necessarily. But Buck, I put up a poll question. Do you believe that Trump, Bondi Bongino and Cash Patel, that quad are lying about the Bongino files? 70% of you in that poll said that you did. And there was like 40 some odd thousand people voting.
Clay Travis
Wow. 70% think they're lying.
Unknown
Think they're lying. I don't.
Clay Travis
Doesn't.
Unknown
There's nothing wrong with disagreeing. I am telling you. I don't think Trump took a bullet, nearly got bankrupted, was facing prison in life so that he could become president again and cover for cover for Epstein. I think what Roger Stone said may very well be true if there had been evidence inside of the government files of wrongdoing. I don't think it exists now. So I understand this may be a minority opinion for everybody out there listening. I do not believe Trump, Bondi Bongino and Cash Patel are lying. I just don't.
Clay Travis
Can I. So I. Some of you have probably seen this. I was on my friend Sean Ryan's show, I think, in 2022, and the one clip that went quite viral from that was when I described the absurd situation of the FBI's search of the $60 million townhouse on the Upper east side of Epstein in 2019 where the FBI broke in and found these. They, I mean, when I say broke in, they obviously did a, you know, subpoenaed search, but they went in and they broke into a safe that was hidden in a wall and they did not take nor safeguard that information. All right, this is all public record. This is court record. This is not see notice. I want to speak about what we know, not what I think. What I think is there was a blackmail operation going on. What I think is that Epstein certainly offered this to foreign intelligence, but I don't know that I Can't prove that. So I don't go down that pathway too far. I leave open the possibility of new evidence. But what I do know, Clay, is that the FBI had access to stuff in a safe, and then they left it there, and then they came back and it was gone. It was gone again. You can check this in the court record. Now, they say that they. Then the FBI reached out to the Epstein estate attorney who said, oh, I have all that stuff, or I took that stuff or something like that. I'll bring it back to you. No problem. Well, gee, everybody, now. Now, it seems what the story is is that, say, the tapes, or rather the things that are sort of the. You know, the. The media information that's out there is that that stuff was entirely child pornography downloaded off of the Internet. That doesn't actually go to the specifics of the ring, the blackmail ring, the case. Right. Yeah. It's just illegal stuff that'll get you. It's, you know, heinous and demonic, and it'll get you locked up for the rest of your life. But it doesn't go to the. Is that really credible, though? He's keeping that stuff in a. In of all the things he's doing, he's keeping that stuff in a locked safe in his wall and not the. You know. And how can we know? My point here being that was 2019. That information was out of FBI custody by the FBI's own admission and brought back at a later time. Does it strike anybody as impossible that maybe different information, you know, that certain things could have been removed or certain things could have been changed on those tapes at some point in time? I mean, this is where I say wasn't an FBI custody. Right? So.
Unknown
So.
Clay Travis
But that doesn't mean that Cash and Dan are in on it.
Unknown
Right? This is the point.
Clay Travis
What they have is not necessarily what existed. It's about what they can prove, not what they can think.
Unknown
And that's 100% right. Six years ago now, Epstein killed himself. This investigation, we haven't even talked much about Epstein on this show. Candidly, I haven't spent much time on the Epstein story, period, because I was doing sports. Like, I bet if you went back through the transcripts, the amount of time we spent on Epstein on this show is minimal, because by the time we took this show over, he was dead. You know, we've talked about it occasionally as different little revelations have come out. This thing started in 2005. I don't know that most people have really dove into this. The question that I have is what did Acosta, who was the prosecutor in South Florida, who signed off on this sweetheart deal all the way back in 08. What did he actually uncover in that initial investigation? Because I think they buried a lot of stuff after that. But this is 20 years ago now that this investigation started. George W. Bush was president when the Epstein investigation started.
Clay Travis
I do, I think we've, I think we have updated this to where we are right now. I would like to, Clay, if you're good with it, cover the news that is out there today.
Unknown
The Ukraine story is far more significant to the country and hardly anybody's Russia.
Clay Travis
Escalation, which also goes right to Trump campaign promises and right to MAGA and everything. I think the Russia stuff is actually, I mean, the Russia war stuff, not Russia collusion, obviously. I think it's a big deal. And I think that we shouldn't take our eye off this. We're also watching the Epstein thing. We will continue to read your emails, continue to take calls if you want. But in terms of topic selection, because we're also getting people who are saying guys like, ok, we get it, we've talked like you, I can't do any more right when Trump is saying this is where it is right now. He's the commander in chief, he has the final say. I can't release more information. And this is where it is right now. So we'll hear from you on this. We'll continue to follow this. But for right now, I don't think there's a way to move the story downfield or rather to get more transparency or get more openness on this, other than just a lot of people going with what they think. But what they think is not going to do any. We're talking about criminal charges. We're talking about huge consequences. What you think is not enough. You got to have, you got to be able to prove these things and you have an obligation to say what you can prove in some of these instances and not just throw wild stuff out there, which I'm seeing a lot of.
Unknown
And by the way, statute of limitations also apply. Some of this stuff is 20 years old now. I mean, that's, it's really hard to bring charges.
Clay Travis
It's hard to prove in general. I mean, it's hard. That's why there is a statute of limitation on some things, not on all things. Some of these crimes, there's no statute. But anyway, we'll take calls. We'll get into this. We'll come back to it. Clay, you know what I'm doing tonight. I'm excited. Cooking some steaks. That's right. We got Carrie's dad in town. He's airline pilot, as you know, former, you know, former F18 pilot, naval aviator, top gun program, NBD. But he's going to be hanging out with us and we're going to be cooking delicious steaks tonight. And you know who's sponsoring it? Good Ranchers. That's right. To Greg and I was just saying how I think the Epstein, there's, there's something there but we're never going to find out what it is. And it goes to a bigger picture, in my opinion. Opinion of there never being accountability for anything. What happened to the Twitter files, all those hearings, all of those people sitting in front of important people getting asked questions and everyone's indignant because they're lying. Where is the accountability? There's never accountability.
Unknown
I, I get it and I appreciate you because Buck, we've hammered this. The only people at circumstances seems to ever get held accountable are the guys and gals who actually walked inside of the Capitol on January 6th. They got pursued to the ends of the earth. Everybody else just basically gets away with everything.

Summary of "The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show" – Hour 1: Epstein Fallout (July 14, 2025)
The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, hosted by iHeartPodcasts, delves into the most pressing news, politics, and current events with a blend of intelligence and humor. In the episode titled "Epstein Fallout," released on July 14, 2025, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton navigate the complex fallout surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein case, Biden's recent pardons, Trump's political maneuvers, and broader geopolitical tensions. This detailed summary captures all key discussions, insights, and conclusions drawn during the hour-long segment.
Clay Travis opens the show by greeting listeners and briefly recounting personal weekend activities. Buck Sexton shares his experiences attending the All-Star Game festivities in Atlanta and spending time with friends. This segment sets a casual tone before transitioning into the main topics of discussion.
Buck Sexton introduces a significant news item: a New York Times article revealing details about President Joe Biden's use of autopen signatures for granting pardons. He emphasizes the gravity of the situation, noting:
“Joe Biden didn't do an interview with the New York Times for his entire presidency... the fact that he never did an actual interview is remarkable.” (07:30)
Buck outlines key points from the report:
Clay Travis questions the implications:
“No one's going to prison for this. You really think there's going to be charges?” (09:27)
He suggests that while criminal charges are unlikely, the administration faces significant embarrassment, potentially ending careers within Biden’s team. The discussion highlights a dichotomy between public perception and administrative accountability.
Buck Sexton shifts focus to former President Donald Trump’s reactions concerning the Epstein case and support for Department of Justice (DOJ) officials. He references Trump’s statements on Truth Social defending Attorney General Pam Bondi and others:
“We're one team MAGA and I don't like what's happening... They created the Epstein files just like they created the fake Hillary Clinton Christopher Steele dossier...” (16:00)
Clay Travis concurs, noting:
The hosts express skepticism about the transparency of the DOJ and FBI, hinting at possible information suppression:
“I believe that evidence was destroyed by Christopher Wray and the Biden Justice Department.” (25:56)
The conversation delves deeper into the Epstein scandal, exploring:
“The FBI had access to stuff in a safe, and then they left it there, and then they came back and it was gone.” (39:08)
Buck Sexton speculates on Epstein’s possible connections to foreign intelligence, suggesting:
“There is the possibility that Epstein had not just contact, but perhaps even was acting as an agent of...” (28:00)
The hosts debate the likelihood of criminal charges against high-ranking officials, ultimately agreeing that while accountability appears scarce, public trust remains eroded.
Transitioning to broader geopolitical issues, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton discuss the escalation of U.S. support for Ukraine amidst the ongoing Russian conflict. Key points include:
“We have entered the phase now where this, this is it is here. It is no longer something that is theoretical and we can discuss some of that.” (05:00)
The hosts express concern over the potential for a Russian nuclear exchange, emphasizing the critical nature of timely and strategic support to allies.
Buck Sexton references a poll he conducted, revealing listener skepticism towards DOJ officials' transparency in the Epstein case:
“70% of you in that poll said that you do [think they’re lying].” (35:43)
However, Buck personally disagrees, maintaining faith in the honesty of Trump, Bondi, Bongino, and Patel:
“I do not believe Trump, Bondi Bongino and Cash Patel are lying.” (35:48)
This segment underscores the polarized opinions among the show's audience and hosts regarding governmental integrity.
In the closing discussions, Clay Travis reflects on the broader theme of accountability within the political landscape:
“There's never accountability.” (49:14)
Buck Sexton agrees, highlighting:
This critical analysis emphasizes a pervasive sense of disenfranchisement and calls for more robust accountability mechanisms.
As the episode wraps up, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton briefly mention upcoming segments, including a discussion with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. They reiterate the importance of staying informed and engaged with current events, especially concerning the Epstein fallout and ongoing geopolitical tensions.
Buck Sexton (07:30): “Joe Biden didn't do an interview with the New York Times for his entire presidency... the fact that he never did an actual interview is remarkable.”
Clay Travis (09:27): “No one's going to prison for this. You really think there's going to be charges?”
Buck Sexton (16:00): “We're one team MAGA and I don't like what's happening... They created the Epstein files just like they created the fake Hillary Clinton Christopher Steele dossier...”
Clay Travis (25:56): “I believe that evidence was destroyed by Christopher Wray and the Biden Justice Department.”
Buck Sexton (35:43): “70% of you in that poll said that you do [think they’re lying].”
Buck Sexton (35:48): “I do not believe Trump, Bondi Bongino and Cash Patel are lying.”
Clay Travis (49:14): “There's never accountability.”
Biden's Pardons: The use of autopen signatures for pardons without President Biden's direct involvement raises serious questions about transparency and administrative integrity.
DOJ and FBI Integrity: The hosts express deep skepticism regarding the DOJ and FBI's handling of the Epstein case, suggesting possible evidence tampering or obstruction.
Public Distrust: A significant portion of the audience distrusts DOJ officials, though the hosts themselves maintain faith in their honesty.
Geopolitical Tensions: Escalating support for Ukraine and advancements in drone warfare are identified as critical areas with potential global ramifications.
Accountability Crisis: A pervasive lack of accountability within the political and legal systems fuels public frustration and distrust.
This episode of The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show provides an in-depth exploration of the Epstein fallout, intertwining it with broader political and geopolitical issues. Through candid discussions and insightful analysis, the hosts offer listeners a comprehensive understanding of the complexities surrounding these high-stakes topics.
