Appreciate you being with us, Clay. Last day of vacation for him this this week he'll be back Monday. He's had a great time out in Steamboat. Steamboat Springs, also known as Steamboat, I think in Colorado. And he'll be back Monday, so next week we'll be all fired up. The the Dynamic Duo back in action. Speaking of action, this weekend I'll be out training in an undisclosed location do some firearms training with a former Silk Team 6 operator. So looking forward to that. I'll tell you all about it when I get back. I'm going with my Brothers kind of a, a guy's training trip before I am being trained to burp a tiny baby and put diapers on. So this weekend, running around in the shoot house clearing rooms. In a few weekends I'm on diaper change duty for a long time. So there we go. Exciting things happening in, in my world. Exciting things happening across the country and around the world too. I wanna dive into it. Speak. You know what? Let's have some fun. Cause it's Friday. Speaking of the world, there's a little place, it's actually giant, not little, a place called Greenland. Now you may have not heard very much about it until Donald Trump came along. Perhaps you've been told the old story that they called it Iceland even though it had far less ice. And Greenland, even though it had far less green. Kind of mixing things up for people. I don't even, I think that's a urban legend. But whatever the people say that about it and Trump is not backing away from this one on Greenland. He's having quite a week. This is cut one talking about this large island that he thinks should be our island. Play it. We really need Greenland for national security. It's very important. You know, we have a couple of bases on Greenland already and we have quite a few soldiers and maybe you'll see more and more soldiers go there. I don't know. What do you think about that, Pete? So don't answer that Pete. Don't answer that question. But we have, we have bases and we have quite a few soldiers on Greenland. Look, it's not a crazy idea. We're not going, we're not going to invade. And people say stuff like that. Give me a break. It's, you know, get a sense of humor. But why shouldn't we think more about this? You know, if Guam can be accepted by Everybody as a U.S. territory in the middle of nowhere in the South Pacific and it's a, it's an important US territory by the way, for strategic reasons. We all know why. Why can't Greenland possibly be in the mix if they agree to it? Trump pointed this one out. He said, look, Denmark, which is currently administering Greenland. What does that even really mean? Denmark is not exactly next door. So maybe this makes more sense than people are willing to think the first time around. Plate two, you have ships all over the place and we to have protection. So we're going to have to make a deal on that. And Denmark is not able to do that. You know, Denmark is very far away and really has nothing to do. What happens. A boat landed there 200 years ago or something, and they say they have rights to it. I don't know if that's true. I'm not, I don't think it is, actually. But we've been dealing with Denmark, we've been dealing with Greenland, and we have to do it. We really need it for national security. I think that's why NATO might have to get involved. He's saying, look, it's an important strategic location. There are very few people who live there on this giant landmass, which is a lot of glaciers and ice. But there's land, too, and there's a lot of minerals and resources when you get under that ice. But also, given the increasing focus on the race to the Arctic that is. Has been underway for a long time but is heating up more these days, it makes some sense. So I don't. This is not a crazy idea. Canada, the 51st state. That's not going to happen. He's trolling. We, you and I know, we speak Trump, we know when he's serious. The Greenland thing I don't think is likely, but it is not impossible. And we'll see how much time and focus he wants to put on this. If you look at, I just take a little step back for some historical perspective. If you look at some of the best moves made by any American statesman in the history of our country, really, they were land purchases and, you know, bringing land into these United States. Louisiana purchased greatest land deal, I think, of all time, even Trump would be like, better than any of my land deals is the greatest land deal of all time. And then, of course, other things. Alaska, Seward's icebox, they called it. Turned out he was pretty smart. And other places, other territories that we've picked up along the way, you know, this is, it's something to think about. It's just we're having a little fun on a Friday. All right, you want to get into the really important stuff? And you join me for the really important stuff. Let's get into the really important stuff. First of all, Senate majority. I'm sorry, Senate Democrat leader, not majority leader. Senate Democrat leader. Chuck Schumer is saying that he is going to vote to keep the government open. And he's, he's getting a lot of heat from his own side on this one, but he understands the direction the wind is blowing in right now politically. Let's hear cut 10. Here's Chuck Schumer telling everybody that, look, we got to avoid the shutdown place. I supported what the House did to vote against this bill universally, but that didn't cause a shutdown. It's a different. It's different in the Senate. And I knew people were going to disagree with me, but I felt so strongly that the shutdown would be the greatest disaster we face with these arrogant, arrogant autocrats that we had to avoid the shutdown and fight on many of the other things. Every other issue that we have. He's saying, look, this is the thing we gotta do here. I don't like it, but this is where we are. We gotta keep the government open. Because he knows that the American people have seen enough of Democrats saying, how dare you even consider shutting down the government. You can't do that. You can't do that. And now they're going to try to turn around and play it on the other side. Aoc, who has the advantage of not having to do real to do politics, but really to do social media, right? She doesn't have to pass legislation. She doesn't have to think about bills and laws. She just has to do like Instagram videos and like tweet and go on MSNBC even though no one's watching. And she is very upset about Schumer backing down and being willing to back the GOP bill. This is 11. Hit it. This Republican extreme spending bill removes all of the guardrails and all of the accountability measures to ensure that money is being spent in the way that Congress has directed for it to be spent. This turns the federal government into a slush fund for Donald Trump and Elon Musk. It sacrifices congressional authority and it is deeply partizan. And so to me, it is almost unthinkable why Senate Democrats would vote to. To hand the few pieces of leverage that we have away for free when we've been sent here to protect Social Security, protect Medicaid and protect Medicare. Elections have consequences, aoc. That's really the problem. You're in the minority. In the last election, the American people spoke loudly and clearly about which party they want to be in control. And the GOP is going forward with the agenda. So I think this is a very good thing. I think this is something. Well, if there had been a shutdown, Schumer would have gotten the blame for it and the Democrats would have been even more messed up than they are. Is that even really possible? My old. This cut 17. My old table mate at Real News scupp old friend of mine, she's even saying on CNN she's like, the Democrats total mess right now. Play it. It is shocking how Democrats have not figured out what is coming down the pike. It, you know, the spending fight is coming and you know, Republicans have a majority. I don't understand. For all the chaos on the right, Democrats are a mess. They haven't figured out it's not how they're going to fight Donald Trump yet. They haven't even figured out if they're going to fight Donald Trump's agenda. They've got to get it together and get on the same page and figure out a roadmap going forward, because the chaos is going to be daily. There's going to be incoming for months, and they are not, they are not on the same page at all. That's clear. Yeah, they got nothing. Right. I mean, I did. I don't think the Republicans are in chaos at all, really. I think that this administration is operating as close to a Swiss watch as anyone could imagine, given the scope of what they're trying to accomplish. And part of the strategy is everything everywhere, all at once. And it's working because Democrats are in complete disarray, a total mess. They don't know what to do. So much so that some of them are calling in sick. And I'm not exaggerating, or maybe they're calling in for a vacation. Here is MSNBC's. This is 24 MSNBC's Lawrence O'Donnell. He just can't handle it anymore. Democrats are getting the butts kicked so badly. He's taking a vacation because he just, They've, we've broken him playing. Well, here's the thing. This is day 52. I thought it was day 92. It turns out it's day 52, Rachel. And I'm exhausted at day 52. And so I, I'm going to take next week off. And I'm telling you that now because I know you don't like it when I just drift away and I don't. But just taking next week off, then I can, then I come back. Honestly, the smart Democrat pundits right now should probably all take a vacation for a week or five or more because they just have absolutely no way of opposing, slowing down or doing anything to stop the Trump agenda, with the exception of. We're going to get into this. These judges, the judges are a big problem right now. These universal injunctions, it is unconstitutional. It is overreach, it is madness. So that's msnbc, the pundits, the media apparatus of the Democrats, all completely, I would say, largely irrelevant at this point. That don't really. They'll come back. I know. But right now they are it's like they're all on vacation. Or they'd be better off if they were all on vacation because they can't make sound arguments. They look like deer in the headlights. But they're relying a lot. The Democrats are relying almost entirely on the activist judges, all Obama and Biden appointees, these activist federal judges who are just overriding and overruling presidential prerogative on a regular basis. Now, this is a central fight for the Trump administration and really for the country, because you're seeing this tested in a variety of ways. If the President of the United States isn't really the CEO of the executive branch, meaning that he can fire people, he can make changes to personnel, then where is the what's the point of the election if they're on autopilot? If Congress gets to say, here's this thing, no one's in charge of it, but we funded it, and no one can make any changes to it in the executive branch. It's on some weird autopilot swamp tour. Why do we have elections? What is the purpose of going through the, you know, the billions of dollars spent for this last election cycle? If D.C. runs itself, essentially it's just endless funding from Congress hurdling us over the cliff of fiscal insanity. And anyone who tries to stop it is told, no, you're not allowed to stop it. The system is self aware. The system is Skynet from Terminator and it will destroy us all before you're allowed to do anything to it. This is a big deal and I'll get into some of the specifics of this here, coming up in just a moment. While violence against the Jewish people continues in Israel and the rest of the Middle east, our Christian brothers and sisters in the region are also under attack. Hundreds of Syrian Christians have been brutally killed in the past week. Entire families, including women and children, are being slaughtered. Israel is the Middle East's only democracy, but it's also the only nation in the region with a growing Christian population. Israeli Christians are free to worship in the Holy Land, but persecution against Christians throughout the Middle east continues to grow. The International Fellowship of Christians and Jews stands with Christians in Syria as well as our Christian brothers and sisters throughout the Middle East. First off, I want to tell you who the guests will be on the program. Our friend Tudor Dixon will be in the mix in the third hour. She is in Michigan. J.D. vance, the Vice president's there. They're going to be together at an event looking at Trump's plans for manufacturing, increasing domestic production, boosting the economy with it, jobs, wages, all that good stuff. So we'll talk to Tudor about that, her event with the vice president. And then we've also, we've also got, joining us for the first time on the program, the deputy White House press secretary, which will also be quite a discussion. Looking forward to that. So we've got a lot going on, my friends. And yeah, it was really funny. Some of you are just noting now that, yeah, Anna Kelly, by the way, will be joining us. DEPUTY WISE PRESS Secretary, the, the, the attitude over at MSNBC is more or less what you would expect given how things have, have been unfolding for Democrats lately. And honestly, I can't really, I can't really blame them. They've, they've got nothing right now and all of their usual moves aren't actually working. This is something that has been coming for a long time. I think the Democrats have gotten so used to just being able to shout that it's all going to be, you know, it's terrible, Trump is Hitler, he's a fascist, all that stuff. And it used to kind of work with their own people, but now it just, it all rings hollow. You sound, you sound pathetic. Even if the, the audience of MSNBC believes it, they know it's not going to do anything. And, and there's also the, the prospect here, I think, of some major Trump wins. The price of eggs, which a couple weeks ago, price of eggs were high, we're hearing about a lot now, price of eggs started to go down substantially and we're not hearing about the price of eggs so much anymore. So you say to yourself, oh, that's the game, right? So it, it matters when it's anti Trump, when it's pro Trump, though, we can't, or when it's good for the Trump administration. We're not supposed to hear about it. They're not really going to talk about it. So that's something that is underway. Also on the economy, I think you're likely to see things start to stabilize a bit more. It might take a little bit of time. All the freak out on Tariffs. Oh, I'm just seeing this, the breaking news. Justin Trudeau has officially stepped down, speaking of tariffs, has officially stepped down as the Prime Minister of Canada. For a, a generally great country, they've got some problems in Canada. All countries have got problems. For a generally great country with a great people. With great people, Trudeau is the worst leader of his era. I think now you could say, buck, fuck, that's crazy. Biden's so much worse to that I would point out. But Trudeau doesn't have dementia. Trudeau is in his political prime, you could say. And look at how ineffectual, destructive, idiotic, sophomoric and sanctimonious he is. I mean, I could just go on and on and on. You could tell that Trump has nothing but contempt for Trudeau as a leader and as a man. And Trump is absolutely right. So that's a good thing. And you can tell that there may be an opening here for better leadership for Canada. I know it didn't, the election, it didn't really go exactly as we wanted to, but I don't know how it could be much worse than what you've got with Trudeau. I don't see how this could go anywhere but up. Maybe I'm being a little, a little too optimistic about it. And what are they going to say if Trump manages to get Canada to back off on some of its tariffs and then we have that boost for American producers and we don't even have to go through the process of keeping tariffs on Canada in any long term sense? Are the people who are currently saying it's crazy? I'll be even the Wall Street Journal, front page, you know, a lot of concern about stock prices over at the Wall Street Journal. No surprise, they're very critical of Trump on this tariff issue. Very critical of him. And I'm just wondering if he manages to prove the haters wrong once again. Will people say, you know what? He actually, there was a method to the madness. There was something going on here that we should have allowed it to play out a bit more before we decided that it was time to start completely panicking and saying, oh, he's creating all of this destruction for no reason in the economy. Yeah, I think we gotta put some faith in the guy and I certainly think he's earned that. Look, don't doubt me on this. The value of gold continues to grow, and that's good news for you if you'd like to increase the stability of your savings. Yesterday the price of gold went above $3,000 an ounce a 52 week high. And that price and value is likely to grow because looking at the major trends pushing the price of gold up, when there's volatility in the markets, when debt loads for countries are too high, when there's inflation, gold does well. Gold is that safe haven asset that people go to. And Birch Gold Group helps you with gold purchases whether it's hard gold. I've got my gold from Birch Gold I just bought a couple weeks ago or and this is great, you can convert an existing IRA or 401k into a tax sheltered IRA and physical gold for no money out of pocket. Let's get into the central challenge right now facing the Trump agenda and the effort to cut the waste and reign in the government. The madness from D.C. the Leviathan to constrain the leviathan finally. And that is now getting jammed up in the courts because there are judges in Maryland and California who are ordering the reinstatement of tens of thousands of federal workers. Think about this. A federal judge can just say now to the administration, hey, you have to hire back thousands and thousands of people that you, the commander in chief and the head of the executive branch have fired. Does the federal judge run the country or does the president run the country? Isn't that, isn't that worth asking? This is what I was getting to before you got this. Judge in Maryland, judge in California. Oh wait, you mean judges and versal injunction is madness because it means that any one federal judge anywhere in the country can stop any federal policy that he or she chooses at any point in time. Think about the power that gives any judge. There's a lot of federal judges running around. Any federal judge who is an activist. Sad, sad. Kamala voter. Because we all know that's what really happens here. They can decide that the whole system has to come to a screeching halt out of the executive branch because they say so or even more than that. They can give an order and they can say you have to do the following because I say so. Really. So you have, for example, the Trump administration now asking, going to the Supreme Court to say, look, you've got to, you gotta stop this. This is this. I know it sounds like, oh, judges, you know, in the courts, this will get figured out. This is critical. They did this really the most effective tools they used to slow down Trump in the first term were the Russia collusion hoax, which was disgraceful, but they were able to put them on defense with that. And then also these resistance judges, so many of whom were slapped out eventually by the Supreme Court. But remember, delay is the point, the punishment is the process. If they can make everything go much more slowly, then they get their way, even if eventually they are overturned, because they're just, they're sabotaging the administration. Right. Time is money. When you're in politics too, time is, is incredibly meaningful, especially early in an administration. So they're just trying to slow everything down as fast as they can. The Trump administration wants the Supreme Court to put aside some of these nationwide injunctions that these lower court judges have issued. Now, this has to do with birthright, citizen citizenship specifically. But depending on how the Supreme Court rules on this, it could go far, far beyond that because they've got to stop these judges from thinking that they're the, they're the president, basically, or that they can just override the president because, because they think so. I mean, when you start to look at this, how many federal judges are there? There are 1,770 authorized federal judgeships across the 209 courts in the federal court system. So if the libjudiciary is to be believed, any 1 of 1700 and change judges can just say, president can't do that, and the whole system is supposed to come to a screeching halt. What? Why isn't this only for the jurisdiction of that federal judge in that court? Right, Meaning that, yeah, if you want to do this in Maryland, OK, but you can tell all the rest of the 50 states. No, no, this stops everywhere because I say so. It's pretty insane when you start to see it this way. Right? The Supreme Court has nine justices, court of appeals, 179 judges, district courts. Okay, sorry. The district courts have 677 judges. Okay, 677 judges. And yeah, that's a lot. Still, any of the 670 judges can say, you're not allowed to do this. We need the Supreme Court to give clarity on this and come what may, we just need to know, because if the Democrats get their way on this, it just means that controlling. You don't even have to control the judiciary or have even more judges. All you need are a couple of wackadoos, left wing activists in judicial robes, and they are your most effective means of preventing policy change from going into effect in the executive branch. They are the Ones who can, more than anybody else, more than the media, more than Democrats in Congress, they can just stop the whole thing. Unless the Supreme Court overrides them and unless the Supreme Court, even better, reigns in the fact that this notion of the universal injunction is just. It's. It makes no sense. This makes no sense. So one judge can say the policy stops everywhere, but what about the fact that there are judges who will disagree, but one judge can stop it everywhere. That's way more power than they are constitutionally afforded. It's nuts. And the fact that they want to stop all this stuff that's going on, too, is remarkable. It really does show you the Democrats just assume that the federal bureaucracy is, is a. Is a fiefdom of theirs. It is a province of the dnc. They just assume that anybody who's fired from the federal government or loses their role in the federal government is probably a Kamala Biden, maybe Gavin Newsom voter. So they go to the mat on this. I mean, isn't that quite clear? And they want the government to be as large and bloated and cumbersome and burdensome as possible. Which is interesting, because back in 2011, remember President Barack Obama? I do. This is a throwback that has been making the rounds the last day or so. Back in 2011, Obama told everybody that he was putting Joe Biden in charge of cutting waste in the government. This is 25. Play it. Everyone knows that getting rid of the deficit will require some tough decisions, and that includes cutting back on billions of dollars in program programs that a lot of people care about. But what should be easy is getting rid of the pointless waste and stupid spending that doesn't benefit anybody. Waste we should be getting rid of even if we didn't have a deficit. We need to step up our game. We need to go after every dime. We need to make government work for you. That's why, starting today, I've asked the vice president to lead a renewed effort to hunt down misspent tax dollars in every agency and department of this government. We're calling it the Campaign to Cut Waste. And I know Joe's the right man to lead it, because nobody messes with Joe. Ok, Put it aside that Joe Biden's a moron. We all know that Obama should. This is like an answered prayer to have Doge coming forward and doing what Obama, when he was president, said he wanted to do. Now they didn't do it. Isn't that so classic? You'll notice that with Democrats, with Republicans, they say they want to do things. And they try and they sometimes will fail, and sometimes they're incapable of doing it because they're stopped by Democrats. Democrats say they want to do things to fool people because they don't actually want to do them. Secure the border. They don't actually want to do that. Cut fraud, waste and abuse in government. They don't actually want to do that. They just say it. They say it because it's politically effective for them. And what could be more obvious than this Obama back in 2011 all about? He said what? Every dime, Every dime, we got to track down every bit of misspent. And then Elon is doing that with Doge and what are we being told? That's horrible. We need him to stop. This is crazy. Why? Because you cannot allow Trump and his team to get a win or even just get their way. There is something just so fundamentally bitter and childish about the position of the Democrats on all of this. And the judge, I mean, I was looking through some of the. This judge that wants the reinstatement of all these federal employees saying, oh, but there's more process. You have to go through more process. You have to fundamentally, can the president fire people from the federal government or not? If it takes years to do it, the answer is no. The answer is no. If you can't fire people from the federal government, if you cannot remove people from agencies who aren't doing anything, then they don't work for the executive branch. They really work for themselves. They're an entity unto themselves. They work for the fourth unelected branch of government, which is the bureaucracy. And just like we've seen Democrats on college campuses across the country completely take over the faculty lounge. That's been going on for 60, 70 years now. But they completely have taken over faculty lounges at most of the universities. There's no room for conservatism on campus. They have largely done that in the federal bureaucracy as well. You know, do you think if you're an ardent capitalist and a right winger, a Trump voter, would you ever go work at the Department of Education? Probably not. Would you ever go work at usaid? No. Would you work at the State Department? Maybe as an appointee, but as rank and file? Probably not. Would you be a CIA analyst? There were a few of us, but not very many, mostly communists. So what's gone on here? You know, I don't know what the stats were for Kamala in this last election, but I do know that I think, if I remember correctly, Hillary Clinton got of donations from federal civil servants over 90% of the donations. It's like the DC area voting pattern as well, which is that the swamp, the people who actually live in the swamp in D.C. vote Democrat, 94, 95% of them. You say, well, something's going on here. There has been institutional capture of the federal bureaucracy by a political party. And that federal bureaucracy has become far too powerful, far too expensive and just far too much a presence in all of our lives. And this is a critical fight. I've said it all along. Immigration and reining in the government, the spending, the scope, the regulations, all of it. This is the first stuff that Trump has and his team have been addressing, the most critical stuff. So I'm happy to see that that's, well, that's where they're putting most of their attention right out of the gate. But this, this stuff, the lower court injunctions, let me tell you, there have been 15 national injunctions for universal injunctions against the Trump administration. And there were in the first month, ok, in the first month of Trump's presidency, there have been 15. There were 14 injunctions against Joe Biden. In you noticing a pattern here, more right leaning and constitutionally serious judges on our side of the ideological spectrum are far less like, and Biden just did wildly unconstitutional stuff like, you cannot, you know, you can't evict people because of COVID and I'm going to pay for your, your student loans because I say so. Like, he did things that just were completely beyond the pale. But over three years, he had 14 of these injunctions. So three years, 12 months. A year, 36 months. 36 months versus one month. Trump has more in one month than Biden had in 36. That gives you a sense of how real this and how immediate this problem is. These judges are just trying to stop Trump in the most unilateral, anti democratic, anti republic possible way, which is taking it upon themselves to act like little tyrants in judicial robes. And I just hope that the Supreme Court, I don't trust this Supreme Court as much. The libs love to cry about it, but Amy Coney Barrett, huge disappointment. Huge disappointment. Good. On, on, you know, the Roe v. Wade. So maybe this was the price we had to pay for Roe v. Wade is having Amy Coney Barrett for 30 some odd years or 40 years on the bench, but she is not good. She, she defers to the authoritarian left far too much. And then there's Roberts, who just lacks backbone entirely and is an institutionalist for the court, which is its own problem. Now, I just spoke to you about Roe v. Wade. That's gone. But there's still way too much abortion happening in this country and we need to do something about it as quickly as possible. Because lives are literally lives are being lost day in and day out. That's where preborn comes in. Welcome back into Clay and Buck. Like I said, we're going to be joined by some fantastic guests later on the program. We've got Tudor Dixon, third hour, doing a, an event up in Michigan with JD Vance, the vice president. So that's fantastic. And we've got Anna Kelly, who is the White House deputy press secretary. I want to bring her on the program, ask her about what this White House is up to, how things are going along and what else we can expect in the days ahead. Want to get to some of your calls and, and some of your talkbacks and all that good stuff. Let's start with Steve in Kentucky. What's going on, Steve? Yes, sir. It's an honor to talk to you. I'm sitting on deck on a glorious Kentucky day and the sun is out, the wind is blowing. It's beautiful, lovely. Why, why doesn't the Trump administration defy the federal judge? And why aren't they as articulate as you just were when you spoke of the reason they should defy or you didn't say they should defy? But doesn't the executive branch have the power to do this? Why not just defy it? And why don't they reference the Biden administration that defied the Supreme Court when it said he did not have the right to forgive student loans? I think that we're getting to a breaking point in this, to be honest with you. I think that they want to see what the Supreme Court does with this first appeal to them and then we'll have to see. But the Democrats are forcing, and I should say the Democrat activists in these different courts are forcing a constitutional crisis. They are the ones who are pushing this. They're the ones who are making this so difficult. Richie in Florida, fellow Floridian, what's up, Richie? Richie Question was yes, sir. Yes, go for it. Yeah. My question was, why can't we get a Republican federal judge to just say, no, I overrule that Democratic judge and we can keep these people from coming back? Well, it's interesting, right? Because it's like a jump ball. Whoever comes up first with the injunction, then it has to go to a court of appeals. Then it has to go to the Supreme Court. Unless the Supreme Court steps in early. So there's no preventative measure that a judge who disagrees can do on the other judge. If a judge steps in and says, you can't do what you just did, Trump, we got to go through this process. Or at least that's what they're doing. For now, we'll get into more of this Stick around. Famous Smoke's been offering the best selection of premium cigars at the best prices for 85 years.
