All right, welcome back. Second hour. Clay and Buck kicks off now, and we are joined by State Senator Randy Fine. He is running for that critical seat, the special election in Florida's 6th congressional district. It is imminent. Let's get right to it. Randy, thanks for being here on the show. Appreciate you.
Randy Fine
Thanks for having me. I'm honored to be here.
Ryan Seacrest
All right, let's start with how's it looking? Bring us up to speed and tell us what are the sort of the broad thoughts you have as somebody who has the eyes of the nation on him with this congressional fight?
Randy Fine
Look, it's looking good. I mean, this is a strong Republican area, but Democrats are angry. President Trump, every time he wins, every time we get excited, they get angrier and angrier. Our wins are their losses, and so they're really motivated to vote. And so if our side of the world goes to voterandyfine.com finds their polling site and votes tomorrow, we're going to be just fine. But you know, when you have another side that's raised $10 million, none of which, by the way, came from the district, almost none of which came from Florida, frankly, given it's all through Act Blue, it could be coming from the other side of the world. That creates a lot of attention and a lot of smoke. But we're really fired up and we think we're going to have a great day tomorrow.
Ryan Seacrest
What should anyone know about your opponent, Josh Weil in this one? He's a public school teacher, is that right? What does he stand for? What's he running on?
Randy Fine
Well, I don't know. He's a public school teacher anymore. He's living in a $51,000 Airbnb that's paid for by his campaign. He's paying himself a salary from his campaign. And he may not be a teacher anymore because while he was a teacher, he choke slammed one of his students into the ground, bruising their head. And a female teacher wrote him up for poking her with a stick, sexually harassing her and even changing the screensaver on her computer to a picture of himself. So I think he used to be a teacher. I don't know that he still. Look, he is, as President Trump put it, a lunatic. He does not believe just in defunding the police. He believes in disarming the police. He believes that you take on a risk of dying when you're a law enforcement officer. But quote, unquote, innocent people who are just stealing something don't deserve to have any sort of consequences for it. He's a socialist. He's a proud socialist. And his big endorsement, my big endorsement is Donald Trump. His big endorsement is Bernie Sanders. And I don't know that that dog hunts in this part of Florida. So we think if people understand that it's the Donald Trump agenda versus the Bernie Sanders impeach Trump agenda, we're going to win. But we'll only win if people go to my website, voterandyfine.com and find out where to vote tomorrow.
Ryan Seacrest
Now, you mentioned the Trump agenda. Obviously, we're a couple of months in coming on the third month here. And we played in the first hour of the show, Trump saying, look, it's been phenomenal so far. We've got a lot more to do. If you win this special seat, once you take your seat in Congress, what are some of the top agenda items that you want to work with your colleagues in Congress to get moving on, to help this agenda and to do a lot more of what we're already seeing so far, which is fix the big problems?
Randy Fine
Well, look, I'll say number one that I will do is I will be a vote for the Trump agenda. And with the House majority being as tight as it is, that's why this election is so important. You know, my Democrat opponent, the lunatic, as Trump put it, has said that he will get in there, he will make sure Democrats take the majority and they'll impeach him on day one. So the first thing I can do is be a loyal member of the team and, and help our team captain, Donald Trump, be successful. What Republicans need to understand, they need to look at the Florida model. When we took the majority in the Florida house, it was 6159. Now it's 8733. And we didn't get there overnight. We got there because people followed the team captain. They we got singles and doubles and triples. And so every two years, we increased our majority. We need to be focused on cutting inflation. We need to be focused on ending the wars. We need to focus on getting the budget under control. And we need to focus on throwing out every criminal illegal alien in the country. And I will be helping with all of this.
Ryan Seacrest
How is the. Now you're speaking to me. And we're on about 550, give or take radio stations all across the country, including a lot here in Florida, which is one of our biggest markets, thankfully. How's the local media treating you? I mean, you're in a plus 30 Republican district. We know Mike Waltz had a big win when he ran before, but I'm going to guess, without knowing, because I haven't lived in the sixth Congressional, that the media is either covering up for the. I mean, I looked at some of the local coverage of your opponent and what a shock. Randy. Nothing about him choke slamming any students, nothing about the $50,000 Airbnb. So what's the local media environment like? You getting any fair treatment?
Randy Fine
No, no. And look, the media has really let us down in the sense that they have not exposed who he is and the fact that his campaign's a grift operation. I told every reporter who covered the fact that he raised $10 million that they owed readers and their listeners to point out where he spent the money. They've covered the fact that he's brought celebrities to the district who endorsed him. They failed to cover that he spent $350,000 and paid them to do it. A lot like his buddy Kamala Harris. So, no, we haven't gotten a fair shake. I wouldn't have expected a fair shake. That's why we go out. That's why I talk to guys like you. We're working harder to make sure we get our message. I went and knocked on a couple hundred doors myself yesterday. I told my team, I got Sunday afternoon, I don't want a candidate walk list with eight doors on it. Give me a real one. I took my, my family and we went out and we knocked on doors and got great reaction. So we're not going to worry about it. We don't expect to get a fair shake. The liberal media never gives it to us. We're just telling people to go to vote. Randyfine.com find out where to vote and go vote tomorrow.
Ryan Seacrest
So important. You know, we had people calling in last week and we were raising a bit of awareness about this upcoming special election, and some of them were writing in to tell us, you know, it's. It feels like some of the local media really just hopes that people aren't paying attention and that they could try to sneak some kind of an upset here by not letting people know. You would think that they would be all over this and telling everybody, oh, this is so important for democracy. But no surprise there. They have an agenda they're trying to chase. I just was wondering if you could give me a little more insight into something. You know, you said you're going to be part of the Trump agenda and you're going to be a vote for that, which I think your district overwhelmingly is just going to be in favor of. And that's what you should do as a member of Congress. From there, when you talk about this Act Blue and how they can come in and throw all this money around, how does that work? I mean, are they right. Because there's limits in what you can give to candidates. Like, like tell everybody about how this. Because they're not just going to do it to you. Right. This is going to be elsewhere in the country as well.
Randy Fine
I've been doing it. They haven't it. So here's how Act Blue works. You can go buy a prepaid credit card, go on ActBlue and say that I could go on ActBlue and give your name and your address and give a $25 donation from you using a prepaid credit card. And you would never know because it's not going to show up on your credit card statement. It's not going to show up on your credit report. And so there was a reporter a couple weeks ago who went to someone's house who had made 1100 donations on ActBlue. They're all small. And the woman said, I didn't make any of them. So particularly in my race, I am running. The guy I'm running against, I didn't say this. He's a Muslim jihadist. After 9 11, he converted to radical Islam. He believes in Hamas, he believes in Hezbollah. There's a lot of groups around the world that would probably love somebody like that in Congress. And there's no ability on ActBlue to determine where the money came from. If you give money on Win Red, which is the Republican equivalent, you have to use your own credit card. You can't use a prepaid untraceable debit card to do it. So there are real questions on ActBlue whether it's just a big money laundering operation to get Soros money, to get foreign money into these campaigns.
Ryan Seacrest
Now when people go to voterandyfine.com the election is tomorrow. What's there? What are the resources? And for anybody, anything they can do that can help out. I mean, is it just spread the word. At this point, I wanted to let you just reach out to everybody in your district. We got a lot of people listening.
Randy Fine
Well, there's three things they could do. The most important is if they live in my district, go to vote. Randyfine.com Click on the special election information. It'll take you to a list of counties, click your county and it'll let you type in your address and confirm where your precinct is so you know where to vote tomorrow. But if people want to volunteer, there's a volunteer tab. We have hundreds of people making calls right now to make sure Republicans know to vote. And look, if they want to donate, they can donate there too, because we're taking every dollar that comes in and sending it out the door immediately and making sure we get the message out. So I'd take any of it. But the most important thing is if you're one of those few hundred thousand people in the 6th congressional district, to make a plan, tell your friends, go to voterandyfine.com to figure out where to vote and to vote tomorrow. Democrats are angry. They will walk through fire in order to vote because they hate the wins. We're getting our side to be afraid of that happening and go and vote.
Ryan Seacrest
You know, Randy, there's something I wanted to point out to everybody. Everybody, which is, you know, yes, I've looked at the polls, you're looking good right now, but obviously it's game time. Everyone needs to go out in your district and vote and get this done. And part of it is I can see the New York Times, for example, already setting it up this way. Even if there's a substantial decrease in the scale of the win, they're going to try to say, see, people are unhappy with Trump. See, the agenda is unpopular. You know, we know what the propaganda is going to look like. So I think it's important everyone sees this as, yeah, you gotta run up the scoreboard for Randy here. You gotta win big.
Randy Fine
And that's a great point. I mean, I want to win, but I want to win and send a message that the Trump agenda is beloved. Because I will tell you, it is here. If Donald Trump in this district is more popular today than he was on election Day, but it's all about who turns out. If all the people who love Donald Trump don't vote, then the results will make it look like the district doesn't support him. Because what I will tell you is this. The Democrats are mad and the Democrats are voting. So we need our side to show up tomorrow's game day. It's the last day. They got to go to voterandyfine.com, find their polling place and be there. I think it opens at 7:00. Be there, vote. I'll sleep better. The President will sleep better. Because this isn't just about me. This is about Donald Trump and he needs his team to go and vote tomorrow. He just tweeted me out on on X a few hours ago. It's been seen by like 10 million people now. So you don't just take my word for it. You can hear his words. He did a tele rally for me on Thursday. It was amazing to do it alongside of him. But I want to put up a big number tomorrow so we can tell the left to shove it that people love what Donald Trump is doing and we're going to do more of it.
Ryan Seacrest
Everybody listening from St. Augustine down to Daytona beach and out west to the Ocala area. And you got to show up, go to vote Randy Fine and find where your polling place is. State Senator Fine, best of luck to you and let's have you come back on when your victory is complete.
Randy Fine
Thank you. Would love to do it anytime. Thanks for having me.
Ryan Seacrest
Thanks so much. Look, it's tax return return season, which unfortunately also means it is scam tax return season. Because the bad guys, they got so many ways of getting your refund and that can cause a mess for you. The next couple of weeks you could get a phone call from someone pretending to be with the IRS looking for additional information. Keep in mind the IRS does not call people for information. They use the US mail system for inquiries like that. Tech cyber hackers know the lingo though. They know how to play the part. They sound slick when they call you. A lot of these scammers have gotten a hold of enough of your info already that from a stolen database, for example, that they're in a position where just a few more pieces and they could steal your identity and they could steal your refund. Cybercrime and identity theft impact everybody. Which is why I encourage you to have online identity theft protection with Lifelock. It works. I've relied on Lifelock for years to look out for my online identity. Their systems sift through billions of data inputs every month from online transactions and more looking for evidence of wrongdoing by some cyber thief. I bet almost the entirety of the 20, 22, 23 NBA season, all the regular season, and about half the playoffs. And I learned that, I mean, it's probably what I should have expected, but I learned that it's pretty hard. I went on a huge heater at the start of the NBA season where it was up, like 70,000 bucks. All right, welcome back in Clay and Buck here, and we've got that conversation we just had about with Randy. Fine about that 6 congressional district race. So important we need that one to go our way because. Because we're getting down to the point where if you lose that and then you get a member of Congress or two who. It's like pneumonia or something. I mean, all of a sudden, you can't get your agenda through, right? Not even waiting for the midterm elections here. So it's very important. And here was Trump. I mentioned this, but just to give you a sense of what the stakes are and how there are eyes at the very top on this race, which is why we had Randy Fine on just now. And I think the choice for all in the six districts should be abundantly clear. The other guy really sounds like quite a, quite a prize that the democrats are putting $10 million behind. Isn't that astonishing? $10 million, basically all of it out of state and not even out of the district, out of the state. I'm sure it's coming from New York, California, maybe some from the D.C. area. And that's where the money is piling in from. And this is making it so that you can't, you know, Trump has to play a little bit of, of defense in terms of making sure the Congress does not turn to a Democrat majority. Here he was speaking about how Elise Stefanik out of New York was supposed to be his U.S. ambassador, United Nations. She said, OK, no, I'll stay. I'll stay where I am. Here's Trump speaking about that play 14.
Donald Trump
As you know, we have a few elections going on, and she is phenomenal. Number one, she's a friend of mine and she was going to go to the United nations. And I said, look, there's a lot of room for doing that or something else, but she's very popular in her district and I didn't want to take a chance. I don't even know who else is running. I assume somebody else would have been running. But if she runs, she can't be. You never want to say can't be beaten, but I think can't be beaten. She's very, very well liked and very smart. And I said, lisa, would you do me a favor? We can, we cannot take a chance. We have a slim margin. We don't want to take any chances. We don't want to experiment.
Ryan Seacrest
We don't.
Donald Trump
And she polls like I do. I won her district, as you know, by a lot of points.
Ryan Seacrest
He doesn't want to take any chances. I think that's absolutely the right move, clearly. And it's because the 18 months that I've been saying we have here for Trump to get the agenda through, it gets a lot, a lot tougher. If we lose this congressional seat and also Wisconsin's Supreme Court, which we're going to discuss, that's all just about a gerrymandering fight. Democrats know that this is so common with Democrats. You'll see that when they can't win, they just change the rules of the game so that they will win. They did this in 2020 with all the COVID stuff and all the regulations that they were changing and the laws that they were ignoring when it came to elections because of the emergency and Fauci and everything else. But as we know, this is very, very important. So hopefully those who are listening, who are in that area, it's not just enough for you to go out and vote in the 6th district, make sure that your friends, make sure that the people that you know who want the Trump agenda, agenda to go forward, you know, no excuses, they got to show up tomorrow. I mean, assuming, I don't know, has there. Is there probably no early voting for special election, Right. So I assume they got to show up tomorrow. I got to check that out on our team. Tell me if it's. Is it all tomorrow? I would assume it's all tomorrow, but I don't know. I have not been involved in a special election myself. So go to randy fine.com or vote, sorry, vote randy fine.com like he was saying, to get all the information you need about where those polling places are and everything else. But point is, show up tomorrow, show up, vote and make sure the Democrats are not able to even make it close. Because as I was saying, if they make it close, the narrative turns into all people are turning against Trump. Now, we know that's not true. But you know, look what they did last week with the signal story. They, they will take anything and they will run with it. They are so desperate to play on the public's emotions and perceptions and avoid dealing with the real issues and what's actually happening in the country because they don't have any plans for that. And the Republicans who are trying to deal with it are doing so in a way that should receive support, in fact from Democrats. And that is definitely not going to happen. So this is the world that we are operating in, my friends. Tariff wars, recession fears, stubborn inflation. Much to discuss here and ooh, this is a, this is a new one, I guess. Caroline Levitt has been doing the White House press briefing right now and there was a back and forth that producer Mark just threw my way here. This is cut 33 team producer Mark. Sorry, not producer. Yes, thank you, producer Mark. Caroline Levitt, White House press secretary, got into it with Andrew Feinberg, a reporter when it comes to migrant deportations. Let's. I'm going to be hearing it for the first time with all of you, but it got highlighted for me. Let's check this one out.
Caroline Levitt
Listen, have you talked to the agents who have been putting their lives on the line to detain these foreign terrorists who have been terrorizing our communities? TDA is a vicious gang that has taken the lives of American women. And our agents on the front lines take the deporting these people with the utmost seriousness. And there is a litany of criteria that they use to ensure that these individuals qualify as foreign terrorists and to ensure. To ensure that they qualify for deportation. And the president made it incredibly clear to the American public that there would be a mass deportation campaign of not just foreign terrorists but also illegal criminal aliens who have been wreaking havoc on American communities. And shame on you and shame on the mainstream media for trying to cover for these individuals. This is a vicious gang, Andrew. This is a vicious gang that has taken the lives of American women.
Ryan Seacrest
The government filed in court which says all.
Caroline Levitt
And you said yourself there are. There are eight criteria on that document and you are questioning the credibility of these agents who are putting their life on the line to protect your life and the life of everybody in this group.
Ryan Seacrest
You know, you're seeing this play. First of all, great job by Caroline Levitt just to not give any ground to these opposition, opposition media figures who pretend to be journalists, but really they're just there to find any way they can to tear Trump down. I'm sorry, but I cannot take seriously any journalist who was cheering for the detention in the pre trial detention in solitary confinement of nonviolent J6 offenders in Washington, D.C. for as long as 18 months without trial. I think that was the longest I had heard. If Julie Kelly was here, she would tell me, I don't remember all the full duration of it, but in solitary, in punishment conditions before trial. And now you're saying, oh, well, but they were given their due process because a judge decided that these all should have been cases that were moved out of the district. These all should have been cases that got a change of venue. None of them did. And you know, you could say that, well, a judge is acting within his or her authority to do this. Yeah. But the point is they're acting in bad faith based on political reasons. You know, a. At some point you're, what you're talking about is really just either nullification or weaponization of the law. If a sheriff decides, I'm just not going to enforce, you know, laws on. Fill in the blank, whatever it may be. Technically they could say that's prosecutorial discretion, but it's also nullification. Right. What ends up happening and weaponization is when you decide to extremely harshly enforce certain laws and ignore others, but to enforce them against your political opponents. And we're seeing this. I'm going to talk to Ryan Garduski about this. They just, what they just did in France is. And I know you're like, oh, France, who cares? Marouille. Bien sur. No. But it's a harbinger of things to come. I think if we don't hold the line here in America, they've just effectively outlawed the primary opposition figure who was probably going to win the next election. So, you know, what we see here in America is the unsuccessful effort to weaponize the law against Trump. But that doesn't mean they won't try again, and it doesn't mean they won't try this stuff and haven't tried it successfully elsewhere. And that is the end of a free society with free and fair elections. You do not have a republic or you do not have a democracy. If anytime somebody comes along to challenge the status quo in the ruling class, the ruling class's buddies, under the guise of being prosecutors or special investigators or special counsel or whatever, find some problem. This person. Oh, mysteriously the problem shows up now when they just like Trump. Right. Remember how many times I made the argument to you about how they say Trump is this horrible criminal and he's such a criminal, he's done all these terrible things and, oh, and he's and they, they called him, they said he sexually assaulted a woman. They said all these things. The guy is in his late 70s and never convicted of anything and never tried ever in his life for any crime. And suddenly he faces four, four criminal trials and suddenly he faces civil suits for stuff that no one can prove or disprove from decades ago. Come on. Right? These are just, you know how the left, they've completely abandoned common sense with their policies, but they've also abandoned common sense. And this is why so many people are finding themselves who still have the, the basic connection to common sense. I gotta vote for Trump, I gotta be a Republican. These people are crazy. Common sense alone would tell you that there is a huge problem with bringing four criminal trials in an election year held until the election year against a guy in his late 70s who had never been convicted of a crime or even charged, even charged with a crime in his entire life. The guy goes almost 80 years, clean record, but he's running for president and now they're throwing all this stuff at him. Oh, now it's this and that and it's all these plea, please. This is, this is really, this is. People are asking us all to live in Idiotville here. I mean, they're asking us to just be completely incapable of, of looking at the evidence and the information and coming up with the clear conclusion about what is actually about what is really happening. And thankfully, and it is to the American people's enduring credit, this was all rejected. This was all rejected this last election. I don't know, I don't think we could have said if they had been successful in defeating Trump and then imprisoning some of the people around Trump, maybe even Trump himself after the election. I think that was always their plan. Do we live in a free society? Did we live in a free society during COVID I would say no, clearly we did not. So it's not as though this is some crazy idea that is so far fetched that we don't have to deal with it. No, I think we had a trial run of authoritarianism and then they tried to extend the tentacles of authoritarianism even further by pulling Trump down and putting forward Kamala Harris, sort of, you know, picked and, and, and put in this role without anyone really knowing who she is or how she got here. The whole thing was all just Astroturf. It was all manufactured. So now they're so concerned about illegals who have been kicked out of the country who are members of this gang. You know what they can, they can file from wherever they Are, you know, file their petition from wherever they're being held. If it's this supermax prison in El Salvador, and if they can prove they're not a member of this gang, well, that's nice for them, maybe they can get out of the prison, but they're not coming back to America because they're illegals. I'm pretty sure if they could prove they were Americans, they would have, you know what I mean? So they don't have a right to be here. They can go somewhere else if they weren't really in the gang, which kind of a shock, don't you think, if all of a sudden there's all this evidence against them that they're members of this gang. But there's different levels of due process and there's different levels of what the expectation should be for people who are in this country, especially people who are in this country illegally. And making clear what those distinctions are is one of the most important outcomes of the Trump administration. And making it clear that you don't just get to be here and say that you're as American as everybody else and have all the same rights as everybody else. In fact, you can argue that illegals have special rights. Illegals in a sense, have even elevated rights over the rest of us insofar as they get to break laws and not just their status. Often there's document fraud attached to it and tax fraud and all kinds of things. They get to break laws with impunity because the Democrats politically benefit from their presence. So they actually get to live by an elevated status legally than the than actual Americans. Is there any law that you can break and that you would go out and protest, be like, I am breaking this law and no one can do anything to me and I continue to break this law? Haha, no, you would be fined or imprisoned. Right. You know that. I know that illegals do that all the time. They show up, they make demands, you know, I have a right to be here. No, you don't. So reorienting the national thinking around this is critical. And also just in other countries, this stuff would be considered laughable. The only countries where this is a problem, I might note, are the countries that are really dealing with this are under the broad umbrella of Western civilization. So somehow Western civilization, going back to our conversation in the first hour and what Elon Musk was saying, Western civilization is the only civilization out there. That is. And by Western civilization, what are you really talking about? Judeo, Christian, you know, Anglo American heritage civilization. I mean, you know, defining it is an interesting, interesting exercise in and of itself. You know, it's the, it's really the free English speaking world, I think is what we would say is Western civilization. And then you'd add Europe in there. So then it's the free English speaking world in Western Europe. You know, you'd start to piece some things in. But, you know, Japan is a free society and an advanced civilization, but it's a different civilization. Right. This goes back to Samuel Huntington, Clash of Civilizations, and he actually breaks down what the various civilizations are. But we are the only one that's not allowed to. And that's why Japan's an interesting example. We're not allowed to try to maintain what we have and perpetuate who and what we are. America, Canada, uk, New Zealand. Any effort to stop the mass importation of people from different cultures and different backgrounds in violation of our laws in the case of the United States is considered bad faith and wrong. Meanwhile, every other country does this. No, there's no other country. Right, where, where, where you would say, oh, you're a bad person. With the exception of these Western nations like Canada, you know, Europe, I think is waking up to this. And we'll talk to Ryan Graduski more about that. But here, by the way, I wanted to play this Ron DeSantis back to the lawfare and what's going on with these judges. The scheme here is very clear. They're just trying to stop the Trump agenda by any means possible, which means the most overarching, overreaching judicial decisions from whatever judge from anywhere. This is cut 25. Play it.
Randy Fine
If you went back and during the debates about ratifying the Constitution and you would have said that under this Constitution, a district judge would be able to neuter the President's ability on a nationwide basis to discharge the duties of his office. If the founding generation believed that the Constitution actually authorized that, it would not have been ratified. It would have been viewed as so outside the bounds of what is acceptable that there's no way it would have even passed muster. So, yes, these judges are serving a political role, a partisan role, and it's to throw whatever sand in the gears they can to prevent President Trump from being successful.
Ryan Seacrest
It's absolutely spot on. Ron's the best governor in America and he's a very smart guy and he gets it. He knows exactly what they're doing. And it is a constitutional crisis. We have an ongoing constitutional crisis in this country right now because of what these left wing activist judges are doing. We don't have to Wait for the crisis. It's already here. It's upon us. The question is when and what will the Supreme Court do something about this? That's really where, that's really where it all comes down. And if they don't, if they don't brush this stuff back, then you start to say, well, what's the, what's the point of having a national election and all this stuff that goes into the presidency and billions of dollars in media spend when all you need is just a bunch of federal judges to just say, no, you can't do that. No, I say, no, you have enough of them. What can the President do? What can the President do? At some point, it's forced, the President's forced to say, I think this is outside your remit. And so I'm just going to ignore. And now, you know, that creates its own issues, but they're pushing to the point where that may be the only option for the Trump, the Trump term, too. I don't know how else to see this. We'll take calls and talk backs and all that coming up here a second. And then we'll talk to Ryan Garduski about what's going on with these. The special election in here in Florida, but also the Wisconsin State Supreme Court election, and then the stuff going on in Europe. I'm telling you, I know sometimes, anytime I feel like I talk about Europe, I get people like, talk about America. I'm like, look, this is a window into the, the leftists of France and the leftists in America have a lot in common and they view the world in the same way and they like each other and trust me, they would be happy to share a baguette and watch our civilizations crumble. All right, trust me on this. So it's not so separate that it doesn't tell us something about what our own left wing in this country is trying to accomplish. And so we'll get into this here momentarily. If your family was part of the video cam craze back in the day, chances are you've still got the video cassettes to prove it. Are you still doing sports betting? I had no idea that you'd wagered over a million dollars for your research.
Nate Silver
I bet almost the entirety of the 20, 22, 23 NBA season, all the regular season and then about half the playoffs. And I learned that, I mean, it's probably what I should have expected, but I learned that it's pretty hard. I went on a huge heater at the start of the NBA season where it was up like 70,000 bucks. I'm like, man, I'm really good at the sports betting stuff. But then, but then things change.

Welcome back in here to Clay and Buck. So we got some talkbacks. Wanted to get to those, and also some VIP emails. Let's start with Jeff on the VIP emails. Buck, just want to say your opening monologue was outstanding. God bless Donald Trump and Elon Musk for their efforts to save our country and the whole of Western civilization. Great job. Maybe you should distribute your monologue as an op Ed and submit it to the non corrupt media. Keep up the excellent job you and Clay do every day. Jeff, thank you so much. Appreciate that. Yeah, if you missed it, go back and listen on the podcast. You can listen to the opening monologue of the show today on Elon and trying to save Western civilization. We've got CC a podcast listener here. Steve in Colorado. Let's play the talk back.
Randy Fine
Hey Clay and Buck this. Steve in Colorado. First off I want to say thank you for recommending Bear Creek Arsenal on their firearms. Those rifles are absolutely amazing. But secondly I wanted to see if I can help get your guys help bring in some national attention to all these anti gun laws that are coming down the Colorado pipeline right now and also in other states and you know if we can get anything done on a national level. Thanks.
Ryan Seacrest
I gotta take take a look at what they're doing to you in Colorado with the gun laws. I, I can focus mostly on the federal stuff but I'm sure it's bad because you got polis in your governor and that state has gone far too blue. So we'll take a look. But yeah, there may have to be some lawsuits by the Solicitor General on behalf of the Trump administration against some of these states that infringe too much on the second Amendment. That's one thing that could be done. So we'll take a look. Ryan Garduski is going to be with us here next and we'll talk to him about the Wisconsin State Supreme Court race. It is critical stick around.

Summary of "Hour 2 - FL State Sen. Randy Fine on the Special Election" from The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show
Podcast Information
In the second hour of The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, hosts Clay Travis and Buck Sexton engage in a pivotal conversation with Florida State Senator Randy Fine. The discussion centers around the imminent special election for Florida's 6th congressional district, offering listeners an in-depth look into the electoral dynamics, campaign strategies, and the broader political landscape influencing this crucial race.
Randy Fine begins the conversation by painting an optimistic picture of his campaign's prospects in Florida's 6th congressional district. He emphasizes the district's strong Republican foundation but acknowledges the heightened motivation among Democrats due to recent political tensions.
Randy Fine (01:05): "Look, it's looking good. I mean, this is a strong Republican area, but Democrats are angry...our wins are their losses, and so they're really motivated to vote."
Fine attributes part of his campaign's resilience to grassroots efforts, directing listeners to his polling site, voterandyfine.com, to encourage voter participation.
The hosts shift focus to Fine's opponent, Josh Weil, highlighting critical concerns about Weil's background and campaign funding.
Randy Fine (01:59): "He's living in a $51,000 Airbnb that's paid for by his campaign. He's paying himself a salary from his campaign..."
Fine alleges that Weil's behavior in his prior teaching role was unbecoming, citing incidents of violence and harassment, thereby questioning Weil's suitability for Congress.
Furthermore, Fine criticizes the financial backing Weil has received:
Randy Fine (01:05): "...Democrats...raised $10 million, none of which...came from the district, almost none from Florida."
He portrays Weil as aligned with progressive figures like Bernie Sanders, suggesting a disconnect with the district's conservative base.
A significant portion of the discussion revolves around Fine's dedication to advancing the Trump agenda upon winning the seat. Fine outlines his legislative priorities, which include:
Randy Fine (03:48): "I'll say number one that I will do is I will be a vote for the Trump agenda... We need to be focused on cutting inflation... throwing out every criminal illegal alien in the country."
Fine underscores the narrow House majority, stressing the importance of each congressional seat in supporting Trump's legislative objectives.
The conversation shifts to how Fine and his campaign are being portrayed in the media. Fine expresses frustration over what he perceives as biased reporting that overlooks his critiques of Weil.
Randy Fine (05:28): "The media has really let us down...they have not exposed who he is and the fact that his campaign's a grift operation."
He points out the lack of coverage on Weil's alleged misuse of campaign funds and personal misconduct, suggesting that mainstream media favoritism hampers fair election discourse.
Randy Fine (05:28): "They failed to cover that he spent $350,000 and paid them to do it... We're just telling people to go to vote."
Fine critiques the Democratic fundraising platform, Act Blue, questioning its transparency and the origins of the substantial funds raised.
Randy Fine (07:30): "There are real questions on Act Blue whether it's just a big money laundering operation to get Soros money, to get foreign money into these campaigns."
He contrasts this with the Republican equivalent, WinRed, highlighting restrictions that purportedly prevent similar untraceable funding tactics.
Randy Fine (07:30): "On Win Red, you have to use your own credit card. You can't use a prepaid untraceable debit card."
Fine suggests that these financial mechanisms could undermine election integrity by allowing undisclosed and potentially illicit contributions.
A central theme of the episode is mobilizing voters to participate actively in the special election. Fine emphasizes the urgency of voter turnout to secure the district for Republicans and maintain support for Trump's broader agenda.
Randy Fine (09:10): "The most important thing is if you're one of those few hundred thousand people in the 6th congressional district, to make a plan, tell your friends, go to voterandyfine.com to figure out where to vote and to vote tomorrow."
He outlines three key actions for listeners:
Fine’s message is clear: decisive voter engagement is crucial for the campaign’s success.
Clay and Buck discuss the stakes of the election beyond the immediate district, touching upon national implications if the Republicans were to lose the seat.
Clay Travis (16:58): "And that's why we have eyes at the very top on this race...if you lose that and then you get a member of Congress or two who...you can't get your agenda through."
They highlight the importance of maintaining a Republican majority to facilitate the passage of key legislative initiatives and prevent Democratic dominance in Congress.
The episode concludes with a final push for voter turnout, reinforcing the idea that the special election is a decisive moment for both the district and the national political trajectory. Fine reiterates his commitment to the Trump agenda and urges listeners to take immediate action to support his campaign.
Randy Fine (10:45): "I want to win, but I want to win and send a message that the Trump agenda is beloved. Because I will tell you, it is here."
Clay and Buck echo Fine’s sentiments, emphasizing the critical nature of the election in maintaining legislative momentum.
